《It's the Apocalypse! or is it?》


 Prologue #1

    This world is fated to die. Humanity is slowly headed for extinction, one second at a time.Humanity had a grand but ultimately limited future. Right now we''re just starting to learn what impact we have on our planet, we''re just starting to realise how far space spreads, and just how many intelligent races their are. But it''s all for nought. In the future, a trillion years from now this universe will end, having given up its long conflict with entropy. And all of what humanity has accomplished, what anyone and everyone has accomplished, and could possibly accomplish in the future, will be destroyed. Or will it? There are beings out their beyond the universe, beyond space and time, that have decided they didn''t want their one and only distraction from their endless, and eternal lives to disappear into nothingness. And so they acted. Individually each being, each Outsider did not have the ability to change the universe, after all they were outside it, beyond it, they possibly might be able to destroy it, but change it? That was beyond even them, when they were alone anyway. Think of a human watching an ant hill, sure that human could just take a step and wipe it from existence, but they also couldn''t say, change the way the ants built their nest, or the way in which they fed. To solve this problem each Outsider combined their might with each other, energy built upon energy, and matter rearranged itself in their presence, but they realized something, it still wasn''t enough, even if they used their full power they wouldn''t be able to end the entropy, not if they had to break through into the universe as well. Discouraged they were about to give up when suddenly one of them had an idea, they conversed and agreed upon the Outsider`s idea. They decided if they couldn''t end the entropy, then they could impart some of their power onto those within the universe, and give them a chance to end the entropy on their own. But their was a problem, they couldn''t simply give all that power at once into a single being, it would destroy it utterly. And so the Outsiders decided to spread about 1/100th of the power equally among all the races within the universe, and the other rest went into the System. Based on the concept of rpg games common throughout the universe, the System was the method that the Outsiders decided to use to distribute the power. So that each race, and each individual person was given a fair chance at power, after all once the entropy was ended and the universe saved, the Outsiders didn''t really care who kept the power, and what they would do with it. This is the story of earth, of a single human boy whose world was about to change forever.

 Ch 1

    Darkness that''s all he saw when he woke up, well he didn''t really wake up, after all he wasn''t really asleep, no it''s more like he finally realised that he was thinking, and that he existed. Wait why am I thinking about that I should be thinking about the fact that I''m floating in a completely dark, endless, void. "Where am I?" He said it aloud. Great I''m talking to myself now too. Ok calm down he thought to himself, let''s start with what I remember, I was walking home after just having picked up my little sister from elementary school, when suddenly some random ass kid kicked a socker ball into the street, when my little sister being the adorable Angel she was ran to get it. I looked and their was a truck coming, the driver was on his cell and didn''t notice mia(my little sister) I knew mia wouldn''t make it back in time so I had run out to her and just barely managed to push her out of the way and onto the sidewalk, right before the truck barreled into my body, and that''s all I remember... Fuuuuuucccckkkkkk! Son of a bitch, am I dead? Did I die? What the Hell happened after that. No no I can''t die I''m all mia has left, both of our scum alcoholic parents died last year, in a car crash. Without me she''ll be sent to foster care, and I''ll never see her again. "Shit, ok calm down, I''m probably not dead, dead people don''t think, at least I think they don''t." Ok so if I''m not dead I''m probably in a coma right now, I can''t imagine that I''m in good shape after getting hit by a truck. So first things first I have to wake up. How do I do that? It was at that moment with a cheerful ding a blue window popped into existence right in front of me.

    ATTENTION all intelligent lifeforms, your world has changed. We the outsiders have decided to change the universe into something more much more Interesting, a game. And like all games all the players start off at the same level, so prepare players, in approximately 5 of your minutes the game will begin, and the effects will become apparent. All races have a chance for ultimate power, fight, kill, survive. The invasion begins at the same time as the game. Now players let the games begin!
