The improvement of innovations came from the creative minds of scientists, but it¡¯s not only them that are creative. People¡¯s creativity lead to the creation of stories about different things, like fictional monsters such as vampires. It is said in the books that vampires are naturally stronger, they suck the blood of people, they¡¯re weak against sunlight and garlic, can be killed by being pierced by a stake, and they sparkle? Some stories even said vampires can transform to winged creatures. Entertaining as it may, those things only exist in human minds. Are they really just fictions? Only a few knew about it, but vampires exist. They may not be the same as those written in the books and they might be few in number, but they are there, walking along the streets disguised as humans. Vampires have adapted to a life where they have to hide their identities. Yeah, they are strong, a lot stronger than humans, but they could no longer rule now that the humans could fight back with highly advanced weapons. Seeing that it¡¯s futile to try, the vampires decided to lay low. They have greatly reduced their vampiric tendencies, reducing the possibility of getting discovered, but not all of them could stop their urges. [] Around 11:00 pm, on a streets with poor lightings, there was a lone girl wearing a hooded coat. Beneath the coat was a green, tightly fitted, tank top shirt and gray shorts extending down to her knees. Her skin was as white as snow, pale was what others may call it. Smoothly touching her waist was her pinkish hair tied behind her head like a tail. She stood around one hundred fifty five centimeters, with a slender build. In contrast to her thin figure, she had well-formed chest, big enough to fill a man¡¯s hand. She was walking on the streets with a paper bag on her right hand, and inside was the uniform she¡¯ll use for school. With a jolly attitude, she walked on the streets while swinging the paper bag. The said vampire, who is stealthy following her like a stalker, was planning on sucking her blood inside her own home. The girl lived in an apartment near Akihabara station, at the seventh floor to be precise. It¡¯s a slightly expensive apartment with a living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bed rooms. Although she¡¯s the only one living there. When she reached the building and after she opened the door of her apartment, she was suddenly pushed inside. She, who was lying on the ground, heard the door getting locked and as she raised her head, she saw a heavily breathing man with his sharp fangs exposed. ¡°Sorry, but I¡¯m just too hungry.¡± The man jumped to her and bit her neck. It was surprising, not for her but for the vampire since his fangs broke the moment it touched the girl¡¯s neck. ¡°Shocked?¡± Said the girl without any hint of fear and based on her calm demeanor, it seems like she expected the vampire¡¯s attack. After he felt a chill on his spine, he jumped away from the girl. ¡°I intended to distance myself from the vampires, but to think one would show up by himself, not only that, you even dared to bite me?¡± The vampire felt a suffocating pressure from the girl. While tightly grabbing his chest, he fell to the floor. ¡°Now that you know I¡¯m not human, I¡¯ll tell you something. Be grateful for I will tell you what none of this era¡¯s vampire know about. I am Aria Dracul Tepes, the first lord and the origin of vampires.¡± [] On the next day, a mutilated body was found near the river bank. There were no traces of the culprit, so it became an unsolved case and will remain unsolved forever. Also, on the next day, Aria will start her high school life. I don''t really know how to write anyway. Chapter 1 - Nobody likes school orientation High school life is fun, it¡¯s where you make the most out of your youth, but it¡¯s not so easily achieve. Aria Dracul Tepes is currently in the gymnasium listening to the principal¡¯s endless bickering under the guise of school orientation. Nobody knew, but Aria was actually the first vampire to ever walk on earth. She once ruled over earth but due to certain circumstances, she had to sleep of a long time. She woke up a year ago in a world where it¡¯s no longer easy to subdue the humans, more than that, not even one from her race remembers her. It¡¯s not bad for her since she didn¡¯t want to be burdened by responsibility. She only created the vampires and conquered the world to ease her boredom, but in the current era, there¡¯s a lot of things she could do aside from that. She¡¯s sustaining herself by manipulating a rich family into thinking that she¡¯s their distant relative. With their money, Aria was able to get an apartment in Akihabara and continue her new hobbies. Living in Akihabara, she was naturally influenced by the interesting culture called otakuism. There are a lot of outrageous ideas around her, and someone who seeks fun like her wouldn¡¯t ignore it. Everyday, she fell deeper and deeper to the otaku culture and finally, after reading a school life manga, she decided to try high school life in the flesh. Despite adapting to the new era, her looks make her stand out. In contrast to the black haired japanese people, she had pink hair. If that wasn¡¯t enough, she¡¯s a beauty with unique purple eyes. Even now it¡¯s easy to see, everyone around her was staring at her. Being forced into such a boring situation, she was starting to get irritated which she was blatantly showing to everyone by frowning. The orientation lasted for an hour and by the end of it, Aria released a sigh and stated. ¡°It¡¯s finally over.¡± Her classmates surrounded her and started asking. ¡°Are you a foreigner?¡± ¡°Where do you live?¡± ¡°What do you like?¡± ¡°What are your hobbies?¡± She took a step back and answered all the questions in one go. ¡°Yes, near Akihabara station, animes and mangas, watching anime and reading manga, any more questions?¡± Dumbfounded, the girls couldn¡¯t reply immediately and seeing that made Aria ask. ¡°Did I say something wrong?¡± After looking at each other, the girls laughed. One girl moved closer and stretched her hand towards Aria. ¡°You¡¯re an odd one, by the way, I¡¯m Sakura Fujimoto, what¡¯s your name?¡± Hearing the word ¡®odd¡¯ made Aria frown. Seeing that, Sakura rapidly moved her head from side to side.¡°No, no, no, I didn¡¯t mean it in a bad way. In fact, I think you¡¯re interesting.¡± ¡°It¡¯s Aria, Aria Lancross.¡± ¡°Then Ari-.¡± ¡°Go back to your rooms!¡± Said the bulky male teacher who was still in the gymnasium. ¡°Hai, let¡¯s go before sensei beats us up.¡± She said while snickering. ¡°I heard that!¡± ¡°Kyaaa, he¡¯ll beat us up.¡± Sakura fled while pulling her hands. The other girls followed behind them while laughing. The girls¡¯ attitude was odd, which she thought was interesting. It looks like school life will be much more interesting than she thought. After getting back to their room, her other classmates flocked around her and started asking questions, like what happened to her earlier. Like a machine, she answered all of the questions instantly, giving the whole class a good laugh. By the time their homeroom teacher showed up, everyone already warmed up to her. Normally one would hide the fact that they¡¯re an otaku, but since she blatantly said it to everyone and she had good looks to boot, instead of hating her, everyone became more interested in her. Although it¡¯s true that she¡¯s lacking in the mental department due to having minimal knowledge about reality. She did use most of her time with her hobbies instead of fully understanding the current era. Immediately after her turn, the room¡¯s door opened loudly. Everyone turned their gaze towards the door and saw a man with spiky red hair. His uniform wasn¡¯t worn properly and he wore accessories even though the school forbids it. The only empty sit was beside Aria, who was seated in the last column and in the row near the windows. The man glared at the ones in front, ignoring Aria, and walked to the empty seat. He smashed his bag to the floor and sat on the chair with both of his legs on top of the table. ¡°What ar ya all lookin¡¯ at?¡± Hearing that, everyone averted their gazes, even the teacher. Seeing that, the man uttered.¡°Pussies.¡± Aria¡¯s eye sparkled from interest, the one beside her is a real life delinquent. She leaned towards the man and poked his shoulder. ¡°Hey, are you a delinquent?¡± Surprised, the man immediately looked to the side, letting him see the purpled haired beauty sitting right beside him. He glared at the girl, but instead of averting her gaze, she simply stared back. The man stood up and kicked Aria¡¯s table. ¡°Are ya pickin¡¯ a fight with me?¡± Nonchalantly, she replied. ¡°No¡± The male students finally stood up and seeing that there¡¯s a lot of them, they walked closer to the man. ¡°Hey, are you seriously gonna hit a girl?¡± ¡°How low have you fallen?¡± ¡°I¡¯m gonna beat some sense into you.¡± Since they were grouped up, they were confident that they could win. The man who felt funny while being stared at by Aria used the opportunity to excuse himself out of the room. ¡°Hah~? Ya fools want ta fight me?¡± He cracked his knuckles and went to the door. ¡°Come here ya dickheads, I¡¯ll show ya what happens when ya anger me.¡± Twelve male students followed the man outside of the room and after loud thrashing sounds the man came back to the room without a single injury. He tried to avoid eye contact with Aria and ran out of the room after getting his bag. The room was silent, all were shaking from fear, except for Aria who was grinning widely from seeing an interesting character [] That''s that, time to read some other fictions! Chapter 2 - Going to school isnt fun It¡¯s currently break time. Aria is eating with Sakura¡¯s group who scolded her for her actions earlier. Shun Akatsuki, the red haired man, is a well known gangster around Akihabara. Not only that, his parents are politicians, so none dares to cross his path. He has records of violent acts and even the principal turns a blind eye on his actions, so it¡¯s not a good idea to mess with him. At most, they said Shun might even attack her on her way home. Aside from Sakura¡¯s group, the others didn¡¯t take her actions too well. If it weren¡¯t for Sakura¡¯s group, she would be eating alone in the cafeteria. Although she didn¡¯t really care, Sakura tried to cheer her up by saying their anger would fade in time. After the break, they went back to the classroom and did what a normal student should do, sit in the middle of hell which made Aria regret her decision of going to school. There were interesting events that happened, but most of the time, it¡¯s boring. Seeing no reason in continuing, she decided that she¡¯ll quit school tomorrow. When the classes ended at 3:00 pm, Sakura and the others invited her to the karaoke. Since it¡¯s something new to her ears, she quickly accepted the offer. Everyone had great voices, not a professional level, but not average either. Aria on the other hand sang every song in a monotonous voice, even though she put a lot of effort to it. They continued singing until 5:30 pm and went home after that. Although school was boring, events connected to it were fun, so she changed her decision again. She¡¯ll give it one more try. The school is two stations away from Akihabara station, so by the time she got to her apartment, it was already 6:30pm. The moment she entered, she threw her bag on the corner of the living room and stripped. She then walked to the kitchen and took a bottle of coke, potato chips, and two boxes of pocky, before going to the living room and opening her one hundred inch plasma tv to watch one-kick man, all twelve episodes in one go. With the food in the table right beside her, she sat comfortably in the sofa. Only in her underwear, the furry surface of the sofa slightly tickled her soft skin, which for her was relaxing. To add, the room was chilled by the AC unit. Her head was slightly tilted upwards, since the plasma tv was located on the upper part of the wall and her legs were stretched forward which were placed on top of a glass table. She stayed in that position for a long time, with only her right hand moving to get food. By the time the anime ended, it was already 2:00 am, but there¡¯s still time. Since her classes start at 9:00am, she has to start commuting at around 7:30am, meaning that she has five and a half more hours to watch anime, so she took the ¡®meth note¡¯ cd and watched it. But first, she took more food from the kitchen. As a vampire, and a lord at that, she can live without food and water for more than a hundred years, but since food of the current era is to her liking, she eats three times a day. Although it¡¯s usually composed of junk foods and soft drinks. Around 6:45 am, she started cleaning the room and fixing her things. After that, she took a bath and wore a new set of uniform. Looking at the drawer, there¡¯s only one spare left, so she¡¯ll have to go to the laundry shop later. Around 7:20 am, she finally set out for school. While walking to the station, she was greeted by people. Before school started, she rarely goes out of her apartment, but whenever she does, she always attract attention. She doesn¡¯t remember when it started, but now she¡¯s somehow acquainted with them. Not having any reason to act negatively towards them, she replied with a small nod. Inside the train, people, both male and female, offered their seats to her, although she declined. She said there¡¯s no need for them to do that much for her, she¡¯s ok with standing up. That act alone made more admire her. Getting off from the train, she started walking to her school with an elegant posture and calm demeanor, making her look like a dignified royalty. She went back to look and saw the red haired man talking with a dangerous looking person. Aria walked to the alley, which surprised Shun and the man filled with piercings. With eyes widened to its limits, Shun asked. ¡°Why ar ya here?¡± ¡°Because it looked interesting.¡± An immediate response. The one Shun was conversing with was a big, muscular guy with tons of piercing on his face. The big guy looked at Aria¡¯s body and bit his lips as his eyes saw her chest. ¡°Young master, is she your girl?¡± ¡°N-no, she¡¯s just my classmate.¡± ¡°Then it should be fine if I use her right?¡± A bit hesitant, it took him a few seconds to respond. ¡°T-that should be fine. She did anger me yesterday, so punish her for me.¡± The big guy grinned as he walked towards Aria. Even though the man was walking to her with nasty look on his face, she stood there with a calm expression, as if she sees no threat at all. On the other hand, Shun was sweating a lot from hesitation. He¡¯s mind was being teared apart by two choices. Should he stop his underling? Or should he let his underling continue? He only met her yesterday, and their first meeting wasn¡¯t a good one, but there¡¯s something telling him to protect her. Just before his underling touched Aria, he yelled. ¡°Stop!¡± In an instant, the man stopped and turned around. Seeing his agitated face, his underling giggled. ¡°So you really fell for her.¡± ¡°S-shut up, I-I don¡¯t like her. I told ya a thousand times, I hater her!¡± ¡°Yes, yes, you kept on telling me you hate her. You even kept on telling me what she looks like, to the extent that I could recognize her on our first meeting.¡± ¡°Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!¡± Shun covered his ears and glared at his underling. His face was red from anger, or maybe it¡¯s from embarrassment, it might even be because Aria is staring at him. His underling made a smug expression while giggling, making him snap and runaway. ¡°You idiot!¡± He ran past his underling and Aria, leaving the two alone in the alley. Aria, who stayed silent the whole time, finally spoke. ¡°That¡¯s interesting. I¡¯ve never seen a delinquent that acts like that in the mangas I¡¯ve read.¡± Still giggling, the underling said. ¡°I think you¡¯re more interesting. Even though it¡¯s an act, you should at least be terrified when a big person like me is walking closer to you. Chapter 3 - Even teachers could feel bad In an underground room located somewhere in Japan, there was a red haired man seated in the middle, and a red haired lady standing beside him. In front of the man were twenty screens, with one open, showing a yellow haired man. The yellow haired man initiated the conversation. ¡°I heard that one of our kind was killed in that country two days ago.¡± The red haired man stood up and said. ¡°It¡¯s obviously the work of those mutts!¡± The lady added. ¡°Looking at the corpse, no weapon was used. I doubt any of our kind would kill each other and even if they did, they¡¯ll hide the corpse to secure our race¡¯s secrecy. Furthermore, it¡¯s impossible for humans to kill us without any weapon so there''s no doubt it''s the werewolves.¡± With a furious expression, the red haired man said. ¡°Those mutts left the corpse where everyone could see, if it weren¡¯t for us then the whole world will know about our existence. It¡¯s clearly a declaration of war! We should attack them now and avenge our fallen comrade!¡± The lady didn¡¯t say anything, but her small nod showed her agreement with the red haired man. With a calm demeanor, the yellow haired man said. ¡°No, I¡¯ll talk with their lord first before we take any actions.¡± ¡°My lor-¡° ¡°I know where you¡¯re coming from. Do you think I, the lord of vampires, would stay quiet when one of my kind is killed? Unless we¡¯re completely sure it¡¯s them, we can¡¯t make our move. Besides, instead of attacking now, we should focus on ruling over the humans to gain the upper hand.¡± With the two staying quiet, the yellow haired man continued. ¡°Speaking of that, how long till you become the prime minister of Japan?¡± [] Aria is currently in the middle of class. It¡¯s the first period, and she¡¯s seriously moving her pen, not because she¡¯s copying what¡¯s on the board but because she¡¯s trying to draw. The current subject is math, with their first topic being algebra and for her who literally just started her studies yesterday, she couldn¡¯t understand a thing. She was seated on a chair with the two metallic legs connected to the legs of the wooden desk in front of her. There¡¯s a small hook on the right side of the desk where her bag was hanged, which is a black colored briefcase. There were six columns in the room, with each having eight chairs. The first five were occupied, while the last only had two which were Aria and Shun. On her left was the window, and on her right was an empty seat. She doesn¡¯t know why, but Shun didn¡¯t come to class even though she saw him earlier wearing the school uniform. Sakura and the others were in the first column, so there¡¯s not much to do in the class other than to listen or to draw. Although she¡¯s truly trying, she can¡¯t seem to draw what she wants. No matter what she does, the eyes always end up uneven. She continued drawing until the third period ended and stopped when Sakura and the others came to invite her for lunch. Walking in the corridors of the school, Aria was surrounded by Sakura and the other three, Naomi Miyamoto, Kaede Mitsuki, and Ran Aoi. All find her cute not only because of her looks but also because of the way she acts. She doesn¡¯t talk much but she¡¯s obviously not shy seeing as she always has a calm expression and that she always responds to every question she is asked. The four looked at each other and after a small nod, the acted like they were scared. Seeing that, the teacher held his hand forward and said. ¡°Wait, I¡¯m not going to do anything.¡± Then after smiling for a split second, Sakura yelled. ¡°Kyaaa, he¡¯ll beat us up!¡± The four ran after that, of course while pulling Aria with them. Surprisingly, it didn¡¯t end at that. The teacher was desperately running after them while saying. ¡°Stop, I seriously won¡¯t do anything, just listen to me!¡± Thinking that the teacher took it too seriously, they all stopped and when the teacher caught up he said. ¡°I never said I¡¯ll hit you.¡± The teacher looked too serious, so Sakura lowered her head and said. ¡°It was only supposed to be a joke, sorry.¡± Ran added. ¡°We just thought it¡¯d be funny¡± Naomi then interrupted the mood. ¡°Sorry, please don¡¯t rape us.¡± In unison, the other three yelled. ¡°Naomi!¡± ¡°Chill, it was just a joke.¡± *bonk* She was hit in the head by Kaede. ¡°Read the mood.¡± Truly happy that the students doesn¡¯t hate him, he said. ¡°It¡¯s fine, but please don¡¯t take the jokes too far. Even for a teacher, it¡¯s feels bad to be hated.¡± In unison, the four lowered their head and said. ¡°Sorry sensei¡± Since the four did it, Aria also lowered her head and in a monotonous voice she said. ¡°Sorry sensei¡± Like they heard a ghost, everyone looked at her with shocked expressions and seeing that made her ask. ¡°Did I say something wrong?¡± Shortly after that, they continued walking to the cafeteria but this time, with the teacher.
