《Rise Of The Spider Queen》 Chapter: 0 - Prologue Urgh my head hurts hmm where am I? I look around me it seems I am In some kind of an egg that''s strange wasn''t I supposed to be......... Hmm where was I supposed to be again?Wait what''s my name again strange I cant seem to remember anything hmm I guess this is my home now, it''s not that bad it''s warm and cozy I like it. I yawn and stretch my hand inside the egg and the thing that caught my eye was the skin on my hand it looked strange and not only the skin my fingers and nails as well. My skin looked black and it was stretching my fingers were long and slender like a girls and nail were very sharp like a knife. Hmm was I always like this I wonder, I looked down and saw the rest of my body I had two round breasts on my chest not to big and not to small either also covered in black skin my legs are slender I can''t see my face but I can see my hair it pretty long black hair but the thing that caught my attention the most was six long tentacle like things no they looked more like legs except they were sharp at the end extremely so even more than my nails. "remember" AN: This is just a short prologue It''s late here so just posting this for now the story will start in the next chapter. Chapter: 1 - The Beginning "remember" I heard those words inside of my head and I started wondering what they meant remember what am I supposed to remember. "remember!" The words sounded louder and louder every time I heard it, to be honest this is getting a little annoying I can''t sleep like this! "remember!!!" Ahh alright, already what am I supposed to re........... "arghh!!" All of a sudden a sharp pain attacked my head and Images started flowing inside my head I grabbed my head with my hands on an instinct hoping that would ease my pain but I was wrong I wanted to scream but no voice came from my mouth it was a silent scream. Countless images flowed inside my head, at first I didn''t understand them but it was not long that they started making sense to me about who I am or rather who I was in this world called Shaea and my death and meeting with the strange goddess who has given me a chance for a new life as something different. Suddenly an image of my death came to me I started grinding my teeth I let go of my head and clench my fists so much that my long nails started digging into my flesh hatred filled my whole being hatred for foolish humans who I called my allies, my friends. In my past life I was born an Elf a highborn a prince who was one day supposed to sit on a throne of the elven kingdom ShalDun we were allies with the humans and I myself had a great friend amongst the humans he was king of the human kingdom called Astia and his name was Reynold Azer. When the demon hordes invaded their lands we were the first ones to answer and come to their aid it was not only just because we shared a border with them it was more, we were great allies and friends with each other, with our combined armies we marched against the demon hordes and managed to push them back to their hell realms it was a great victory for us but that did not last long. While our armies focused on the demon hordes we were attacked by a different enemy an enemy that did not care whether you were a human, elf, demon or any other race the undead king had risen from his slumber and once again walked freely into this world the first kingdom that was attacked by the mindless legion of the dead was none other than my homeland ShalDun. I who was with our elven armies marched with haste towards our lands to defend it against the dead I asked Reynold for his help which he agreed without hesitation but it all went downhill from there. We marched together towards the capital city Eldenor but what greeted us there was simply horror, a sea of undead creatures were surrounding the city it was only a matter of time before the gates a breached we did not have any time to waste we devised a plan the elven army will charge at them to break their formation and the siege of the city and Astia army was to circle behind their backs attack from there it all sounded great but I was wrong very wrong. Reynold took about hundred elite knights with him and joined our elven army he said he wanted to stand side by side with me his friend when we beat the undead legions back heh he really was a good friend. It was not long until our preparations were completed it was time for our charge I yelled loudly "charge!!" and our whole army with a company of Reynold charged towards the endless undead army. We clashed with them and in simple words the battle was bloody the skeletons did not die unless you crush their heads the zombies as well, it was not long that the undead army focused their whole attention on us it was the time for our allies to strike their back Astia was known for their heavy cavalry and I was certain we would emerge victories this day I looked at Reynold who was fighting a skeleton and he didn''t notice another one coming behind him I rushed towards him and just in the nick of time I managed to strike at it head, Reynold finished off his opponent and turned towards me "Dranei I think it''s time raise the flag for the charge!" he yelled and I immediately nodded and ordered a soldier carrying a red flag with a horse mark to raise it up high. The soldier raised the flag I turned my head towards the direction the reinforcements were supposed to arrive but what I saw made my heart stop Reynolds younger brother Ralin who was supposed to lead the charge just looked at us from his horse and smiled he then raised his hand and ordered the soldiers to retreat they were leaving. I lost my will to fight I dropped my sword and fell on my knees I looked around me and everywhere my kin died the earth was soaked with our blood we were betrayed by the king''s brother he left us his allies and friends to die and his brother the king. I raised my head and looked in front of a skeleton raised his axe high above his head I just looked and did nothing I already accepted my death at this point. The skeleton slashed his axe towards me and just as it was about to split my head open the axe stopped I looked in surprise and saw Reynold behind the skeleton he crashed its head from behind. I looked at him and saw that he was bleeding heavily all over his body he fell on his knees, I stood up immediately and ran over to catch him, I held him tight and looked at his wounds I knew with just one look that even if we did manage to get out of this alive he would not make it, just as I was about to say something he spoke. "Dranei never give up there is always hope!" He spoke while blood flowed from his mouth I smiled and spoke to him with a sad voice "heh as always Reynold my friend you are right". Reynold smiled and looked at me "tha......thats the way he....." Reynold died in my hands I placed him gently on the ground and took his sword in my right hand and my own sword in my left hand I looked at Reynold for one last time "rest in peace my friend and do wait for me I shall be joining you soon". I turned towards the undead legion and with a yell charged towards them I slashed left and right with both swords crushing countless undead heads, cutting the rooting zombies flesh I don''t know how much time passed but the last thing I remember was standing in a middle of the undead legion they stopped moving and opened up a path in front of me, from there he emerged a creature cloaked in a black robe it head was covered with a hood and it floated towards me and stopped just in front of me, it raised its head and looked at me I looked back at it but what I saw was simply darkness only two small red dots were visible in that darkness the creature spoke to me with a cold voice that sent shivers down my back and cold sweat started dripping down my head. "you fought well elven prince but sadly your time in this world is coming to an end" "heh we will see about that" With my last ounce of strength and courage I charged towards the creature with my sword raised high, the creature did not move at all it just stood there I came close enough for my sword to reach it and slashed but in that second the creature disappeared and I felt pain in my stomach I looked down and saw a black hand piercing my stomach. I opened my eyes and all I saw was darkness "hmm wasn''t is supposed to be dead?" "over here" I heard the voice again behind me and I turned around and what I saw shocked me, a giant white spider woman or whatever she was was just floating in all the darkness this thing had a body of a woman four arms two on both side a body of a spider she had six big legs on her body something like jewels of all kinds and colours were glittering in this darkness wand with an addition of her being white it really hearts my eyes. "hehe are you shocked elven prince Dranei this your first time seeing a spider?" when she spoke she snapped out my daze and I looked her in the eyes "well no but never such a big spider and a spider who can talk so you can''t really blame for being shocked right?" "hehe I guess that is true" she spoke and every time I heard that voice I sounded peaceful "your voice sounds beautiful" "ups!" I blurted it out loud she just stared at me oh man am I going to be eaten "pfft hahahahah now that''s a first haha" oh she laughed I guess it''s not that bad right? "umm excuse me miss spider but could you tell me where am I?" I have to know where I am right now I''m pretty sure I died. "oh please call me Ariade and for your question you are inside my realm your soul floated In here, to be honest I was surprised I didn''t have a visitor for a very long time" "hmm my soul so I am dead" "unfortunately yes" "sigh" what am I going to do now what is a soul supposed to do anyway "sigh" wait she called this place her realm what is she anyway "umm excuse me miss Ariade but what exactly are you?" "I am sorry to hear this lady Ariade I wish I could do something to ease your pain but as you can see I''m not In a position to do so" Ariade looked at me with her big eyes also did I forget to mention she has six eyes and long black hair and I mean really long well that''s to be expected since she is so big. She looked at me for some time than a smile flashed across her face "hehe Dranei I think you are suitable hehe" hmm suitable for what I wonder? "umm lady Ariade I am suitable for what exactly?" I kinda got a bad feeling. Chapter: 2 - I Shall Lead You I heard two voices outside my egg and the thing they are talking about well let''s just say it''s not very pleasant for me to hear, their voices sound really rough and from inside this egg I can only faintly see their shadows the one on the right was smaller while the one on the left was bigger and if I''m not mistaken that one has a huge belly. "how we eat this big eggy boil it fry it, me want to eat!" the smaller one talked and this really sounds bad for me should I force my way out this egg but if I do will I be able to defend myself? "hmm let''s take it to the chief he should know what to do" the big one spoke and moved closer to my egg and grabbed it "go grab the other side fool!" he yelled at the smaller one. Hmm they want to carry me will they want to start boiling me oh that won''t do, what to do what to do hmm, while I started to panic slightly the six spider blades on my back twitched and before I knew it they moved on their own with lightning speed. Three blades pierced the side the smaller one moved and the other three the side the bigger one was, I really didn''t expect this, there was no sound from the two creatures it seems they are dead. I somehow managed to retract the blades it seems I''m getting the hang of these things they will be useful. I looked at the six holes I made from the inside, I guess I won''t be staying here anymore oh well it was bound to happen anyway well then time for me to walk on this world once again. I moved my hands towards one of the holes I made and with my hands ripped open the egg. I slowly stepped out of the egg but when I stepped on the ground it felt funny, I looked down and saw a small green skinned creature height of a child I recognized the creature it was called a goblin, I noticed three holes on the goblins body one in the stomach, one near the heart and the last one right in the throat. Wow it seems I moved these little things on an instinct and attacked all the vital points, but goblins huh? I looked around me and saw that I''m in a cave not that big a simple cave and I was near the entrance. I moved towards the entrance of the cave slowly I looked outside and saw many goblins running around it seems I was reborn inside a goblin village, I noticed some stuff like some swords and bows and shields lying around the cave seems some unlucky people got killed by these stinking creatures. In all that rabble I saw a shield that didn''t seem to have that much rust on it, I could use it to see my face I''m quite curious as what it looks like. I picked it up and placed it in front of my face so I can take a good look at and, to be honest, I was surprised, I was expecting my face to be ugly but I was wrong the new face I got In simple words was beautiful but I''m a little disappointed I was expecting more eyes like the spiders have oh well. While I was distracted by my face I heard loud voices outside the goblins were yelling at something. I looked outside and saw something that made my blood boil for some reason, not far from the cave entrance I saw three goblins pulling the chains and the creature on the other side of the chain was a big brown spider the spider''s carapace and legs were covered in rocks but it looked natural like it just grew out of it I heard a story before about the rock spiders this one must be it. Now that I take a closer look I can see many chained spiders of different colour all around this goblin village. "hiss!" the rock spider hissed at the goblins that were trying to get it to move "move or we beat you!" one of the goblins yelled but the spider just hissed at them again not willing to move "we beat now!" These bastards I felt rage burning inside of me I guess this is because of me being one of their kin....yeah their kin an image of my friends flashed from my last life as the elven prince Dranei and their deaths I felt pain in my heart but then a heard a voice "you help us?" "huh?" I looked around but I saw no one around me, then I noticed a pair of eyes staring right at me it was the rock spider that was currently going to get beaten by the goblins "you help us?" he spoke again. Ahh that''s right my life as Dranei is over but my life as a champion of lady Ariade and the queen of spiders is just beginning I will forget the past and keep moving forward in this life. This little one talked directly into my mind lets see if I can do that as well "yes little one I will help you I will be your queen from now on and your mother from now all of you are my little children" I somehow feel embarrassed saying all this and to be honest I don''t know where it all came from but I just felt like saying all that the hell did lady Ariade do to me? But who cares I meant all of that anyway for my revenge I will need an army and also lady Ariade''s wish for her race to be resurrected I will fulfil it all. "kiiiiii!!!!" the rock spider screeched and the strange thing is not only him but every spider in the goblin village they started to break their chains and attacked the goblins who were caught in surprise and to be honest I am surprised as well could it be that all the spiders heard what I spoke? "you loud me beat you!" the one holding the club wanted to hit the rock spider "I don''t think so" I moved fast behind the goblin and pierced the goblin through the head with one of the blades. "From this day on my kin will not be slaves to anyone!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Inside a certain palace, a tall man in his twenties was standing by the window looking down on the city the man had long blond hair, his body was well built blue eyes like the sea and a face so beautiful that could capture the heart of any girl he desired. Suddenly a knock was heard on his door and a woman with glasses walked in, the woman wore a maid''s outfit, she bowed "prince Kael the party will soon start but are you sure you are alright with your weak body I do....." "It is alright Mary thank you for notifying me I shall be there soon" the young man was the third prince of Estenfol kingdom one of lesser kingdoms in Shaea. "by your wish my prince" Mary turned around and walked outside to wait for him, Kael grabbed his robe and just as he was about to walk out he saw something that caught his eye, all the little spiders were leaving through the window as if something called them. Chapter: 3 - Goblin Village "My kin will not be slaves to anyone" heh I guess I completely accepted my new life, well that was fast. I noticed that the goblin I pierced with one of my blades was still hanging on it so I retracted the blade and let the goblins body fall down, while I was distracted by the goblin on my blade I failed to notice that the other two sneaked up behind me and had already jumped at me with their clubs in hands. I moved swiftly and dodged them both and while dodging I managed to scratch one of them with one of my blades, the goblins growled a little because their attack failed and now they were getting ready for their second assault which never came. The goblin I that got scratched started to shake uncontrollably his eyes turned white and he started to foam and just like that the goblin collapsed on the ground he was dead. The other goblin was surprised by sudden death of his companion that he failed to notice a very angry big rock spider standing behind him, the rock spider crushed the goblin with its strong legs like it was nothing this makes me wonder how the hell are they slaves to goblins !? Well anyway I was surprised to know that my blades are poisons as well this is good this gives me more advantages in a battle for example if I came across a stronger enemy than me I could simply just wound him and retreat to let the poison do its work not bad at all. I look at the rock spider who is still in chains, I come closer to him and with my blades I remove the shackles around the spider''s neck and legs the spider looks at me and I look back at him....... Somehow he is cute I reach out my hand towards and pet its head and the spider started purring I didn''t know that spiders could purr..........cute I don''t know why maybe because I am a female now or one of their kind but I find this extremely cute.... Ahh I got distracted there are still many goblins In this village and the other spiders are fighting, I can hear the sound of screaming goblins from every direction. Let''s try to communicate with them again I hope they all hear me "umm little ones kill all the goblins that resist but capture the ones that surrender" I wonder if they heard what I said. Just when I thought that I saw a little goblin on the backing away from an incoming another rock spider, the spider got close enough for the strike but that never happened instead the goblin was wrapped in the web just like a cocoon except the head was still free for air I guess. When I arrived there I started grinding my sharp teeth at the scene before me, a large maybe 150cm black goblin was standing near the entrance of the house and around him there were several corpses of spiders all scorched some of them were still moving but there was no saving. The goblin wore a dark robe that had several skulls attached to it on a chain mostly human but there were smaller ones most likely goblins in his right hand he held a staff with a skull on top. "A mage tch..... all of you stay back" I ordered the spiders behind me to stay back and not attack this one is a dangerous opponent I will need to deal with him myself. I stepped up to confront the goblin "you killed some of my kin for that you must pay the price goblin" I spoke in hopes of intimidating him to be honest I wish he would surrender because mages are pain in the ass to fight. The goblin stared at me for a while then he spoke "I killed your kin yes but did you care to look around what about my kin spider?" the goblin stared with hatred in his eyes, well I guess he is right. "You are right but this was bound to happen because of your mistreatment of my kin, I would like for you to surrender you can not win this fight lay down your weapon and live another day or die your choice" The goblin stared at me and I think he started thinking deeply about my proposal he is a lot more intelligent than the other goblins I hope he makes the right decision I do not like mindless slaughter. He raised his head after some time it seems he had made a decision, he dropped his staff and sat down on the ground "My name is GrumBal of the Dead Rock clan do what you wish with my life but spare those who have already surrendered" GrumBal closed his eyes and awaited his death. Well, this is a relief "raise GrumBal I will not take your life nor the lives of your people anymore if you swear to never again hunt and enslave my kin do you agree to these terms?" GrumBal looked speechless he did not expect this but he had not other choice but to accept "I accept it will be as you say the Dead Rock clan will obey" I smiled at GrumBal and walked over and reached out my hand "well then I shall have you tell me some things" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- AN: Another rather short chap. weekend coming soon will be able to write bigger chap. :) Chapter: 4 - The World Changed Right now I am sitting inside GrumBals house no to be more exact simple wooden hut, tho it looks more durable than the other ones in this village I guess when you are the leader you get more benefits this doesn''t change no matter the race. GrumBal invited us inside after his surrender to talk and to answer the questions I wanted to know...and when I say us I mean a bunch of spiders that don''t want to leave my side this hut could break at any moment from all the weight, when I told them to go outside they just let out a sad sound and I gave up. I was sitting at the end of the square table and on the other side was GrumBal we stared at each other for a while and he was the one who broke the silence. "I thank you once again for allowing me to live and my people as well, blood has been spilled on both side and I am grateful that we do not have to fight" "Yes Indeed I also do not like needless killing for the sake of both our kin''s we will put this behind us" I responded to GrumBal and it was not a lie when I said I didn''t like needless killing, right now I need all the information I can get and this goblin must know some things. "First I would like you to tell me where are we right now that is my first question" GrumBal got up and started looking for something and after a few minutes he came back with a piece of paper in his hand he stretched out the paper on the table, I looked down it was a map and a very well drawn one how did a goblin get his hands on something like this, ahh I remember shields and swords from the cave I first emerged they scavenged it. "we are here" GrumBal pointed at the map, I looked at where his finger pointed the name of the kingdom was Es... Estenfol the map is little bloody so hard to read some names. Estenfol? Ahh I remember a small human kingdom, I looked at the map and noticed that it was a little different from the maps for example there weren''t some kingdoms I knew like Astia the kingdom that betrayed their king and allies instead an unfamiliar name stood that stretched almost all over the human realm Triben Empire. I looked at the map for a little longer and I noticed a black spot over the land that was once known as ShalDun kingdom my past life homeland. "What is this?" I pointed at the black spot on the map, GrumBal looked at it and just shook his head "I don''t know I only know where we live". "I see its ok thank you for answering me" the second question was going to be about ShalDun but I guess even if he is an intelligent one his knowledge is limited I need to find someone else to answer my question. "Ahh I got distracted by my anger, the thing I wanted to tell you was that they have more of your kin in chains they even ride on top of them they are strong that is how they crushed my tribe and enslaved us" So they have more of them enslaved "Is that so it seems I will need to pay them a visit" right now I was angry and very much so, I didn''t even notice that my anger started to affect the little ones around me they all started to shake but it was not out of fear on the contrary they shook with anger as well "kiiiiiii!!" they let out a terrifying screech which made GrumBal jump up. I answered back "no not at all but I have a favor to ask" GrumBal sat down again. "I''m listening" "Those filthy orcs have taken almost all the females from my tribe I want to save them so I ask of you to let us join you against the orcs" GrumBal lowered his head as he spoke. "I do not mind but what do we get from this?" Chapter: 5 - Orc Camp Part 1 Currently, both I and GrumBal were getting our forces ready for the assault on the orc encampment, GrumBal was gathering all the remaining warriors from his tribe, it seems when I started a rebellion my little ones killed quite a few of their warriors it also took few days before some of them healed. While GrumBal was gathering his warriors I turned around and sighed, the reason why I did was because all the spiders are behind me and they don''t move an inch unless I tell them to, but well I guess they are loyal to me that''s a good thing right? I really didn''t notice before but now that I take a closer look I can see other coloured spiders mixed with the brown rock spiders there are green, red and blue spiders. I walked over to the giant rock spider the one I encountered first he is bigger then the other rock spiders I guess he is their leader. I pat him on the head and he started purring "little one does the colour of your body mean something?" I asked him. "yes yes green poison queen enemies, red burn queen enemies, blue heal queen and us protect queen" well I didn''t expect that they really love me huh somehow I feel happy, but it''s good to know so different colour spiders have different abilities green have poison inside them from the answer red spiders can use magic and fire magic at that good and the blue ones can also use magic to heal now you would think that the blue spiders are weak because of their ability but it''s the opposite when we moved towards the chiefs house I saw a blue spider breaking the sword from one of the goblins with its jaws they are not weak oh I forgot the brown spiders it seems they are something like shields they can take the blow instead of the others not surprised looking at those armour like bodies they are the only ones that have bodies like that. "oh seems GrumBal has returned" I turned my head around and saw GrumBal headed my way and behind him the remaining warriors of the Dead Rock tribe. GrumBal arrived before me "this is all that is left forty warriors including me" "hmm I have around thirty spiders how much orcs are there in the encampment?" GrumBal was silent for a few minutes then he spoke "there are roughly around hundred and sixty orcs and their spiders about eighty" "well those are not bad numbers hehe" I smiled at GrumBal who looked confused, well I don''t blame him even combined we don''t have enough troops to beat the orcs but it seems he forgot who I am. It has been few hours since we left the goblin village on our way to the orc encampment we encountered the orc lookouts of course we dealt with them swiftly and quietly either me or the poison green spiders would kill them without a sound so we wouldn''t alert the other lookouts by the way seems the poison the green spiders use is almost as deadly as mine it takes a little longer to take effect but still effective oh and they can spit it wonder if I can do that hmm. "So this is an orc" I looked at the guards outside the gate they had good plate armours with spikes on them and helmets with horns in their arms they carried spears, they had green skin like the goblins but they were much taller and more bulky in other words more muscles, they have sharp teeth. "Now where are they keeping my little ones" I looked for the spiders and just as I suspected they are keeping them chained near the tents they lived in, the tent that had a spider near must be the tent a rider lives in. "good this will do" I turned towards GrumBal "GrumBal I shall speak with the spiders in the orc camp and tell them to attack the orcs when they start we shall rush in and kill every orc we see, oh and leave Khargol to me" "as you say" GrumBal nodded and gripped his staff hard. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kael''s POV Recently there have been orc attacks on the merchant caravans near the Deadwood forest, the nobles didn''t care about the attacks but a few days ago a carriage belonging to one of the nobleman was attacked and his oldest daughter was kidnapped the nobles never change when common people are in danger or even killed they do nothing but when their bloodline is in danger its a totally different story. The noble asked my father the king to send soldiers to rescue his daughter which my father agreed to, the one to lead this rescue party was my second older brother Arnot and with some convincing father also allowed me to come along. We took three hundred knights with us to subjugate these orcs. "ahh! we have been riding for three days now when will we arrive!" The one complaining was Arnot he has blonde hair like me except it is shorter than mine, his face is pretty handsome, me and Arnet take after our mother who sadly passed away when I was still an Infant, Arnet and me have the same mother but the oldest brother Alain is not he is a child from father''s first marriage. "Do not worry my prince we shall arrive shortly at the forest entrance" One of the soldiers riding beside us spoke. I yell in my mind I hope this works like the last time. "hmm nothing" I look at the orc camp and nothing is happening could it be that it didn''t work if so that means our surprise attack failed. "Kiiiiii!!" A sound was heard from the orc camp it was the spiders they did hear me good its time. "Let''s go GrumBal charge!" I yelled and GrumBal stood up and charged towards the camp gate. "Little ones with me!" I ordered the spiders behind me to follow me as I charged towards the gate as well. We arrived at the camp gate swiftly the two orc guards were burned alive by GrumBal''s magic he is a scary fellow, we entered the camp and saw many spiders killing the orcs, good it seems our surprise attack worked perfectly. "GrumBal take some of your warriors and free the prisonors we will deal with the enemies here and Khargol" "Gladly" GrumBal answered as he took around ten warriors with him. "Die!" one of the orcs tried to pierce me with his spear but he wasn''t faster than my blade which pierced him right through the heart area. Now where is Khargol I looked around and didn''t spot any extraordinary orc, but our attack really caught them off guard they were dying left and right some even dropped their weapons and just started running for their lives, not that they managed to get far they were either crushed but the rock spiders or burned alive by the fire spiders. "kiiiii....." Dead some of my little ones just died, it must be Khargol all of them died at once it must be him. I clench my fist out of anger for their death you will pay with your own Khargol, I start running with lighting speed towards the location they died, it''s strange we are all linked I can sense the location of ever spider that is linked with me and I can also sense their death and the pain they feel. I move swiftly through the orc camp and arrive at the location the spiders died and look at the scene before me with grim face. A two-meter big green orc with a ponytail on his head was standing in the sea of dead spiders in his right hand he held a short axe and in his left a shield made out of steel. He didn''t wear any armour his chest was bare you could see the muscles a true warrior indeed, he is dangerous I will need to end this fast. He noticed me and turned towards me "hoh so you are the one leading these creatures and killing my men" he asked me in a cold voice. Is he trying to intimidate me ridiculous "yes I am and I suggest you surrender if you want a painless death if not...well let''s just say it will be painful" "hahahahaha" he burst into laughter he annoys me. "haha you think you can kill me I killed many more like you little girl and all of those I killed talked like you come and let me chop off your head" he motioned me with his hand to come towards him. "As you wish" I pounced at him and tried to pierce him with all six of my blades but to my surprise he is fast he managed to block me with his shield, I did pierce the shield but it was too shallow. He raised his axe and tried to chop off my head just like he said, I quickly retracted my blade and jumped backwards avoiding his axe, now it was his time to be surprised. "hoh you are a fast one.....In that case" he lowered his shield and axe then he inhaled deeply and released a blood chilling roar "ooooohhhhhh!!!" It was such a loud roar that I had to cover my ears with my hands what is he doing? As I was wondering what he was doing I noticed his skin was changing colour it was becoming red as were his eyes I stared for a few seconds and then I remembered, in my past life I read in a book that some orcs have a rare ability called berserk, the ability changes their eye and skin colour to red and gives them an extraordinary speed and strength for a short amount of time. "damn it this will be even harder now" I cursed as I looked at the orc and just like that he disappeared before I could react he was beside me his axe already near my chest area. "damn it" those were the words I uttered before the axe stricken me. "bam!!" huh? I look around me it seems I crashed into a tent I didn''t die? I look at my chest area and see that it is little damaged from the impact but the axe didn''t cut through me, it must be this black skin...I see this works like an armour pretty convenient but still this hurts like hell I am still damaged by the impact hope nothing is broken. I stand up and see Khargol getting ready for another attack and just as before he arrived next to me swinging his axe towards me, but this time I was ready I blocked his axe with three of my blades and other three went for his body he managed to block two of my blades with his shield but he didn''t see the third which pierced one of his legs. Good now it''s time for my poison to do its work. Khargol started shaking and foaming from his mouth, but he kept coming towards me slowly......scary now I know why the berserker ability is scary. Khargol started losing his strength and fell on the ground his original colour returned. I sit down on the ground I need a break ''sigh" "he sure was a strong enemy hope I never meet anyone with a berserker ability again!" "go that way the way out of this forest is not far from this place" GrumBal pointed towards the direction and spoke. the girls started leaving but the girl that always spoke first turned around towards me she had blond long hair but it was full of dirt now, she had blue eyes and a pretty cute face she is a natural beauty. "um.....spider lady.....thank you" She bowed and turned around and ran off to catch up with the others. "well at least someone still has some manners, but enough of that GrumBal take the orc supplies and go back to your village and thank you for your help" "no need for thanks we now serve you and we serve out of our own will not as slaves my queen" GrumBal kneeled down and all the others goblins did the same. We arrived at the forest entrance and started setting up our camp, when we suddenly heard voices coming from the forest. "sigh" I avert my eyes from my shameful older brother and look towards the entrance. In the next momment I look with shock at the six girls that were running out of the forest and one of the girls was daughter of the noble, her name was Enis I knew her from the parties that her father makes. "ahh prince Kael everyone its prince Kael and the knights we are saved!" She yells as she throws herself at me and hugs me, this feels uncomfortable I never like this girl. We dismounted our horses and headed through the thick forest. As we were moving forward I kept thinking about the spider lady the girls mentioned I really want to meet her, from the description Enis gave me she looks like a monster from a nightmare but somehow I have hard time believing anything that women tells or any women in general, they all lie and their smiles are fake they only want to marry into a royal family or because I was blessed with some of my mother''s good looks, it disgusts me. While I was thinking one of the knights yelled behind me, I turned around and saw a big brown spider jumping at one of the knight, he was pushed to the ground, I pulled out my sword and rushed towards it, I slashed at the spider but my sword didn''t even make a dent in the spider''s carapace, it''s like the carapace was made out of stone. The next thing the spider did didn''t only surprise me but even the knight that was pinned down as well, the spider jumped back and carefully looked at all of us. "kiiiiI!" The spider released a loud shriek and soon we were surrounded from all sides. "this is bad" One of the knights spoke and I have to agree with him "sigh" I guess I won''t be meeting the spider lady after all. "spider......lady.......that''s it !" The spider led us towards the clearing within the forest we saw the large wooden stockade and within tents we entered through the gate and we saw many orc bodies as well some spiders here and there I''m guessing this was the orc encampment and I guess the spiders really did kill the orcs, that means the spider lady story is true as well. The spiders led us towards the biggest tent, one of the green spiders went in, I am guessing their leader the spider lady is inside there. It''s probably weird that I am not scared in this situation on the contrary I am excited I can''t wait to met her. The small green spider stepped out and behind him she came, I opened my eyes wide and looked at her, she had black eyes like the darkest night her hair looked like black silk, her face was small but extremely beautiful her figure was so great that any women would kill for, she had pitch black skin that looked more like a carapace that those spiders have and the six blades that are stick out proudly from behind her. She looks at the knights first and then last in line me, she stopped her eyes on me, my heart started pounding loudly I thought It would jump out I look at the other knights they are shaking in their armours I wonder if I am the weird one here not that it matters.
