One man screams loud and says. ¡°WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!!!!!!¡± After the man has showed his disbelief the battlefield all showed their disbelief of what was in front of them, but once one man saw an opening he stabbed someone in the back that man let out a blood curtling scream. ¡°AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH¡± Everybody that was earlier fighting turned their heads to see a child about the age of 16 with a knife. The end of the knife was dripping with blood, with anger, disbelief, and fear in their eyes, they stood still for what seemed to be hours until one man screamed this. ¡°What are we here for to sit around waiting to get killed, I think not we came so our country could win this war!!!!!!!!¡± Even if this was meant to the army of his country it brought the whole battlefield back to there senses, and both sides to this war were raring to go until another light appeared. What came from that light was girl who looked to be 18 jumped right into the battlefield from the light and said these words. ¡°STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!¡± ¡°We shouldn¡¯t be fighting we should work together to fight against the overlord who is overseeing us fight amongst yourselves.¡± ¡°At this moment he is probably laughing at us for being idiots fighting amongst ourselves so stop this MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!¡± Not only did this anger the people who under the overlords spell the also directed their anger at¡­¡­¡­¡­. An engravement left by her late father who was killed in an assassination of the king and queen damian von aria and mary anne von aria, her parents. Yes she was a princess the princess of Aria. When she left her house she saw that people were there in suits. She thought to herself ¡®are they her to take my jail or something¡­...ugh¡­..such a pain get out of my sight¡­.¡± They start speaking and say ¡°we are here to order you to do a job for us¡± I start by asking ¡°what kind of job are you asking nice big businessmen¡± with a forced smile on my face ¡°We want you to enter this building and steal some files for us¡± they say with a small smirk on their face¡± i say without hesitation (because im afraid i dont have choice either way) ¡°YES SIR¡± standing firm with a salute. This is where the story of Brynhilde Von Aria starts. Chapter 1: The Information to change her. /////////We are back with the heroine Brynhilde Von Aria. When we last saw our heroine she had accepted this mysterious job offer she from very bulky men in black and white suits. the reason she took up this job is so she can start a career at adventuring, so i could do things without restrictions. Who knows what challenge will befall our heroine in this chapter of Princess Aria and the Gem of Immortality. //////// ¡°So¡­¡­¡­¡­...where is the official job offer nice sir¡¯s¡± said Brynhilde with wry smile on her face. The two men nodded at the black carriage across the street and while our heroine was faking a smile one of the bulky men grabbed by her waist and threw her on top of his shoulder. *sigh* she thought to herself ¡®again why do people think i¡¯m a freaking ragdoll!!!!!!!¡¯. They then ran over to the black carriage and placed me in the seat next to an old man, whilst putting a blindfold over eyes to impair my vision. When they finished tying me up and getting me set up to where I could not escape the carriage started to move. As the carriage was moving along i could faintly hear a muffled conversation outside with the two bulky men, they said ¡°this girl-------die isn¡¯t she------?¡± said one of them and from that conversation I figured out they were brothers. The other man said ¡°yes our master will be very--------HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!¡± as he finished speaking I thought to myself ¡®Shit, better get myself mentally ready for what is about to happen¡¯ and as I thought that the carriage came to a sudden stop. The door flew open and I am pretty sure the other man in the carriage the brothers so called ¡°master¡± shoved me out of the carriage onto the ground. As I waited there for something eventful to happen I quickly remembered that i had a knife in my belt that I could use to cut the ropes they had tied me with. I thought to myself ¡®great thinking bryn-chan, now we can get the hell out of here and get some real money.¡¯ As her ropes are cut and her blindfold is off she gets up dust herself off and notices some shadow looming over her¡­¡­¡­..to her disbelief it was a tower the tower called the ¡°Tower of the Gods¡±. she said aloud ¡°ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME¡± then slapped her forehead and kept her hand there for several seconds until she said ¡°uh¡­...I have to steal documents from here!?!?!?!?!?!¡± As she gets over her disbelief she steals herself and goes to giant double doors of the Tower of the Gods. When she opens the door she is greeted with two orcs slamming axes in front of her, as she saw that she could have died she backs and decides to take the stealth approach. Which means to climb the tower until she finds a promising a window. She then grabs her hook and wire off her belt, throws it up, and starts to climb the tower. As she kept climbing the her strength little by little left her body and was replaced with pure and utter exhaustion. Once she saw the first window she grabbed ahold of the windowsill. Once she got to the window she hanged there to see if any sound or presences were up there. there weren''t so she climbed up and to her surprise there were what she thought to be the documents the old man who pushed her out of the carriage was looking for. He yelled in excitement ¡°YES, this is what I have been looking for, ok then here¡¯s your reward¡± as he said that he came close to me ear and whispered something into my ear. This is what he said ¡°if you want you can look for Fushi the Gem of Immortality, that could give you immense power beyond your wildest dreams and it could help you find the happiness you are looking for¡­..¡± I gasped, the reasoning behind this gasp was i''ve heard rumors about this gem it could grant you power, wisdom, happiness, pretty much anything your heart desired. I wanted to take back my kingdom that had been taken from me. I looked at him wide eyed trying to form words at my mouth but nothing would come to mind. He left without but before he could leave I asked him this ¡°WHY¡± he looked at me confused and found out what I meant by that he said ¡°because i see promise in you¡­¡­. i see promise as the Queen of aria our country, the country of the Knights of the Blazing Land and then I fell to me knees in a daze. I then shook off the feeling being dazed, got up and headed to town but then I remembered I don''t even know where i am. I wandered about for awhile until i found the sign that showed me the way back to town. I then headed back into town where I went back home to think about what had happened today. After I got home i noticed that there was a shadow in the corner of the room. But before I could mutter the words it darted out of the window to the outside. she thought that going after her would be pointless to go after something like that and I dont have the strength to do and I might die who know the power this mysterious person is packing. I was too exhausted to run after so I went to my bed and plopped down. As I was laying there in bed all i could think of were those words that the old guys that gave me the job said. ¡°if you want you can look for Fushi the Gem of Immortality, that could give you immense power beyond your wildest dreams and it could help you find the happiness you are looking for¡­..¡± Those words kept playing in my head over and over like a broken record, as i headed back into a dazed state, I couldn''t think of anything other than that. After awhile I fell asleep with no complaints. My dream was made of a past memory, that memory was¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­...when my parents died. END OF CHAPTER Chapter 2: Dante Shinjiru and Demone Bruciare As the horrible dream was ending I was waking up from the deep slumber that had put a constraint on my mind, only focusing on one thing in particular¡­¡­...the day my parents had died¡­¡­.kuh. I decided to not dwell on the topic since the memories aren''t exactly happy ones.Then suddenly I heard knocking at my door which made me get up to answer the door. I walked over to the door, grabbed the doorknob by my hand. the door came open with a sudden movement then a man appeared, not at the doorway but at my throat with a dagger. As he noticed the shocked expression I had on my face,he smiled and knocked me out. After I regained consciousness I saw him cleaning his dagger while he was leaning back in on of my table chairs. He happened to look up from his dagger cleaning and saw that I had awakened. He said ¡°well well it looks like our little princess is awake.¡± he then snickered. As he said those last words my mouth was agape, I thought to myself ¡®how did he even know I was princess!!!!¡¯. He took notice of my surprise and said ¡°ah, I see you are surprised by how I know your name, well you see I am an assassin.¡± As I looked at the assassin in front of me, the sun started to rise in the room which helped me get a better look at this man''s face. He had long hair but I wasn''t too long that it would the length of mine, it covered one of his eyes. His eyes were red and filled with hatred, pain, and agony. What also saw was a weird scar on the left side of his face, then i noticed it was what people called a ¡°demon¡¯s burn¡± and now that I see it on his face it is also in his hair. Long ago I heard of this phenomenon it happens when someone tampers with dark magic, if they fail it can leave you with a curse called the ¡°demon¡¯s burn¡±. Essentially what it does is that a demon is summoned and usually it burns you but it also can choose you as vessel, but it didn''t look like he got the better part of the failure. it also doesn''t hurt you but at times of great emotion it will turn the victim into a terrible demon with no control over it. He was also wearing a butler¡¯s uniform. I finally spoke for once in this conversation and said ¡°hehe it looks like you were cursed Mr. Assassin Boy but my question is how do you know who I am¡± He said ¡°well I have my ways of getting information little miss princess Aria, oh and for my name I am Dante Shinjiru¡±. As he finished with that sentence he started another sentence saying ¡°well why don''t we start talking business or should I say terms of our agreement¡± as those words fell out of his mouth, a sly smirk came to his mouth. I said ¡°so what are these terms of yours Dante¡±. As I said that his face lit up with excitement and said ¡°you will agree----¡± he suddenly stopped and cleared his throat. He then spoke with a more manly voice that was completely out of character ¡°ah yes the terms I take you with me to my master and I don''t destroy this small village, that you love so much hehehe.¡± As he said that he filled me with complete and pure anger. I suddenly shot up but soon noticed he had noticed that I was tied to the chair, I thought to myself ¡®dumb bryn, how could you not notice that.¡¯ He got up saying with a teasing tone ¡°well looks like we have an oblivious princess here don''t we¡±. As I calmed down, Dante untied my ropes and awaited my answer. I began with saying ¡°ok I will agree with you on one condition¡­¡­..it is that you explain to me how you got that demon burn ¡®kay.¡± He was a little bit confused for a minute and said ¡°what¡¯s a demon burn if I may ask?¡± He then touched his face as well as saying ¡°oh, you mean my Demone Bruciare if that¡¯s the condition to tell you about then¡­.yes.¡± I was confuse also so I asked ¡°what is a Demone Bruciare?¡± He counter by saying ¡°I believe in your way of saying it''s called the demon burn.¡± I then facepalmed myself thinking ¡®how could I not infer that from what he was saying¡¯. As I packed and said my goodbyes to this wonderful village I went back to the house I had so many good times in, I then saw a glimmer of light in the corner. I thought to myself ¡®didn''t I get everything?¡¯ I walked over to that corner, what I saw was something that brought to tears to my eyes. I dropped to the floor crying looking at the picture of me as child sleeping next my parents on a beautiful field. As I sat there crying my eyes out I heard Dante knocking on the door, I quickly wiped the tears from my face took the picture and opened the door. Dante stepped out of the way as I walked by him, I stopped without looking him straight in the eyes and said ¡°let''s go, I have no regrets now.¡± As I smiled so did dante as to say ¡®well that''s good to hear.¡¯ The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Me and Dante set out on our journey to his master¡¯s residence. As we exited town we were faced with one of the many challenges on this journey there was a pack of wolves glaring at us from afar like we were their first victims for today. I slowly pulled out my crystal red and black rapier that I named ¡°Kuroi Chi¡± from its sheath until dante whistles and the wolves coming cheerfully running towards dante. The wolves jump on him and start licking him cheerfully, I then look closely while I sheath my rapier. The wolves have earrings with the letters DS inside a flame symbol on their left ears. As soon as dante notices that I am looking at their earrings he explains saying ¡°these are the wolves I grew up with there names are Aurora (female), Benito (male), Bonavento (male), Zaire (male), Maeve (female).¡± As Dante motioned the wolves to go scout ahead he looked at me and smiled saying ¡°well milady let''s start walking then.¡± We started walking down the path until a huge tremor shook the ground beneath our feet. As we tried to get a foothold on the ground we saw what was making the ground shake, it was an orc plus there were goblins following close behind the orc. I and Dante had the same idea, at the same time we both pulled out our weapons and charged the monsters. The orc slammed down his club to do us both in but we dodged it with a quick movement and sliced at his knees, he then fell to the ground that¡¯s when I took out Kuroi Chi and stabbed him straight through the heart. He dissolved into ash amongst the ash was an object a shiny golden round gem that had always fallen we you defeated a C-Class monster. Although there were a lot of goblins the didn''t take much to kill under 15 minutes all of them had been annihilated and there E-Class gems sprawled amongst all the ash on the ground. Dante seemed confused by these gems with the letter E inside them so I asked ¡°what is the problem Dante?¡± He said ¡°uh¡­¡­..what are these gems and why are they the same color but the orcs gem is a different color?¡± I countered by asking ¡°have you not heard of the Monster Reward System?¡± then he said ¡°no, I have not.¡± I explained ¡°well to summarize the MRS is a system that rewards you for hunting monsters; each monster has its own color and class to their gem they drop like Clear for S-Class, Misty Blue for A-Class, Silver for B-Class, Gold for C-Class, Red for D-Class, and finally Green for E-Class. S-Class gems are the highest quality and E-Class gems are the lowest quality. After you''re done hunting down monsters you turn them into the guild and you get money for it, well that about summarizes the MRS for you.¡± After my explanation Dante said ¡°oh, that clears things up for me thanks Bryn-chan.¡± We started walking after my explanation but what came up in the distance was something unfathomable, a giant black castle towering way above the trees and the clouds. Just when I stopped beholding the giant castle, Dante said ¡°this is my master¡¯s home welcome to Nero Castello.¡± He finished and motioned me towards the gates to the castle as he opened them I saw this beautiful hedge path way all the way to the castle doors. We treked all the way to the doors in silence because i was marveling at the whole garden, castle, and the pathway to the castle. when we came to the castle doors Dante opened them and what we saw was a complete black interior, and with that Dante¡¯s master looking down at us then saying ¡°welcome Princess Aria to the Nero Castello.¡± THE END OF CHAPTER 2 Chapter 3: Brandish of Stats As Dante¡¯s master exclaimed ¡°welcome, Princess Aria to Nero Castello.¡± To the black walls and the red velvet furniture every thing around Bryn was beautifully structured and sculpted to fit the image that the Nero Castello gave off. As the master motioned for Bryn to sit down on the silky red velvet couch that gave off the sense of extravagance. As she sat down Dante¡¯s master introduced himself by saying ¡°Well, shall we get started Princess Aria?¡± I nodded as to say ¡®yes we shall¡¯. ¡°I am Devon Caprico, I am also know as the Nero Necromancer.¡± I let out a gasp at the mention of that name, I had once heard of a story containing the title ¡°The Nero Necromancer¡±. Long ago on the battlefield between the two countries Kurovan and Lumiosis one man rose upon the rest he was know as The Nero Necromancer in the sense he was draped in all black robes with blood red stitching. The moment he appeared was at the point in the war when both sides had lost many men in this long, drawn out war. Even as this was happening both sides did not give in they both kept at it. That¡¯s when the Nero Necromancer appeared, to put it in short summarization of what people thought he was there for¡­...was he was no catalyst but he was a point of hatred to both sides. So the end result was that both sides stopped fighting each other and fought the Nero Necromancer. The reason behind this was that all the men who had fought gallantly and died with honor were disgraced by being brought back to life in a emotionless and controlled state. So therefore the war ended but before the remaining soldiers could fight the Nero Necromancer he was gone with the thousands of soldiers he brought back too. Although he was thought as one of the strongest Dark Magicians of his generation, he also quickly disappeared as soon as his title had become common knowledge. Mr. Caprico shifted in his seat and spoke to say ¡°well by how your expression look I presume you already know my backstory Princess Aria?¡± He knew very well what I knew, how he knew that I honestly couldn''t explain. I replied with ¡°yes, Mr. Caprico I know all about the war you partook in.¡± His grin disappeared in place of that grin was a very serious look. He then said ¡°well, if you then let''s start with topic #1, a new war is about to break out Princess Aria and you will be centered around this war whether or not you want to.¡± The look after those words was dead serious to the point that his words could be world shattering. ¡°I-I-I don¡¯t know if what you say is true but if it is then¡­¡­.is what¡¯s gonna happen is gonna be a bloodbath like the last war right?¡± I ask this question with my voice shaking in horror of what could happen. He responded saying ¡°from what I am told this will be even worse than the previous war¡­¡± He suddenly stopped in the middle of his sentence as I looked up he was also shaking in fear of the premonition that had heard of. He then continued by saying ¡°this war may destroy the world as we know it Princess Aria.¡± I looked across the room at dante who was as dumbstruck as I was, obviously his master did not share this piece of information with him. I contemplate my next course of action and come to say this ¡°so¡­...what should I do from now on Mr. Caprico?¡± He fell silent for the a few minutes after my question and then responded with saying ¡°first you need a means to power up and get stronger, which comes to this new device that should help with that.¡± He pulls out an iron and a spell book, which scares me for a moment. He then procedes and asks me to hold out my arm to him. He pushes the iron into hot coals by the fireplace comes back over to me. By this point I had an idea what was about to happen. He suddenly pushes the hot iron against my skin with a powerful thrust. I scream out in pain but I do not pull my arm away. Afterwards he pulls the iron off my skin leaving a weird set of marks. ¡°Now for the final part of getting you the opportunity to power up is¡­¡­..this.¡± He flips the pages of the spell book to the part he is looking for and chants this ¡°zetento aru garden no vivia parpus ne vanta.¡± A light appears at the tip of his finger, he steps over to me, moves the bangs out of my face, and touches my forehead¡­.I feel a surge of power flow through by the time the sensation stops I black-out. When I feel like I have awoken that wasn''t it at all, all around me was black but only one light shown through this empty darkness. That light was coming from my arm over the weird text I saw earlier the was text that read PRESS START with a circular button under it. I was hesitant about pushing it but did so thinking there¡¯s really nothing to lose from pushing it right? I push the button and text box appears with stuff that appears to be stats pertaining to me. It says this: HP- 100 Strength- 60 Defense- 55 M. Strength- 45 M. Defense-47 Agility- 55 Intellectual- 49 After looking at the stats I found myself looking at the text box more and more. What I saw was a box saying level 19, my name, a Knight class¡­.Whatever that was I still could not comprehend but, it also had another two boxes above those boxes it said subclasses. I to take not to all the things I had just witnessed but then suddenlly a light flashed. I blacked-out once more. I then awoke on a bed inside what seemed to be the Nero Castello. I heard a familiar voice¡­..it was dante¡¯s, he was saying ¡°come on, come on, come on, BRYN-CHAN WAKE UP!!!!!¡± As he said that he saw that I was staring at him with a confused look but I then smirked at him and said ¡°oh¡­..so you were waiting for me Mr. all-I-care-about-is-my-master. His face grew red and said this while stumbling on his words ¡°n-n-n-no I-I wasn¡¯t y-you must very mistaken Bryn-chan.¡± He turned around staring at the wall instead of facing me out of embarrassment. I pulled off the covers and stood up looking at dante¡¯s back and said with a very serious look on my face ¡°so what¡¯s next Dante?¡± He turned around startled by my amount of seriousness in my voice. He spoke up saying ¡°well then why not ask master then?¡± I nodded in agreement, grabbed my sword, put on my gear, and walked with dante down the hall to Mr. Caprico¡¯s study. The door creaked open by Dante¡¯s hand. What I saw inside was anything ive ever seen in my entire life. The walls were pure Shadow Crystal, a crystal only found in certian dungeons with the enemy type ¡°The Underwold¡±. This crystal had properties to allow it to take possession of people, make black fire that could burn anything, and most of all bring the dead back to life. My amazement was showing on my face, which was noticed by Dante and Mr. Caprico. Mr. Caprico spoke up saying ¡°so I see youve awoken from your ¡®Brandish of Stats¡¯ as the scholars of today call it.¡± I was confused by his words so I began by saying ¡°what do you mean Mr. Caprico?¡±. Before he could even speak a brillant light burst through the room, what was left behind by the light was a blue screen above my right arm showing me the information I saw previously. ¡°This is what I meant Princess Aria, this is your stats this will help you on your journey through Kamia.¡± I finally understood what he meant it looks like I am destined to travel throughout this world. I nodded to him and asked ¡°So do you have any information on the gem Fushi and/or The King of Aria?¡± He smiled at Bryn and said ¡°yes I do, ive heard rumors that in Zevantia if you conquer a certian dungeon you will get a rare item that maybe the gem you have been looking for, and the king of Aria has sent a certian assassin group after you named ¡®Nujabes¡¯.¡± I sat down in a chair next to Mr. Caprico contemplating my next move, then suddenly the house shook with a violent force. I stood up with a sudden fluid motion put my armor on, unseathed my sword incase a battle was upon us. Dante and Mr. Caprico did the same, Dante pulling out his dagger and Mr. Caprico grabbing his Shadow Crystal Staff. Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. Dante slowly opened the door with caution once he saw nothing was out of the ordinary in the hallway he motioned for us to follow him. We got to the end of the hallway and Dante put up his hand, a sign for us to stop. He whispered to us ¡°there are five goblins in the main room and two humans at the front door, what do you suppose we do Bryn-chan?¡± I was startled, why where they relying on me? I could not even answer my own question but I did have a plan. I spoke saying ¡°Mr. Caprico lead the goblin¡¯s away with some illusions spells, after that finish them off with some dark magic spells. Dante and me will go after the two guys up front with a stealth approach.¡± They both nodded in agreement, Mr. Caprico chanted a spell called Demon¡¯s Mist, which summons a demon that lures monsters into a mist towards the spell caster. The goblin¡¯s had taken the bait and were slowly coming closer to Mr. Caprico. We got ready to fight if anything unusual happened. The goblin¡¯s were in his vicinity to attack, he then chanted another spell its name is Envoy of Darkness which summons shadows to envolpe your enemys and crush them, making them into sacrafices for a death god. The first part of my plan went well but we still had the other half of my plan to execute, Dante used a skill called Stealth Cloak, which summoned cloaks that when worn would make you look as your surrounding¡¯s. We slowly approached the two enemies but I sensed something and back-stepped pulling Dante back with me. An explosion was set off because of our carelessness. We both clicked our tounges in frustration and threw off the Stealth Cloak¡¯s. Revealing ourselves to our enemies. They turned around giving us an evil smirk. I took a glance at my right arm noticing that there was an exclamtion mark on the blue status screen showing the information on thes two enemies, one was a Gunner class and the other was a Guardian class. The Gunner class uses machines that fire explosives and hard lead bullets and the Guardian class uses a giant long sword with a very defensive sheild give the class the reputation of ¡°the hardest to take down class¡±. Then it just occured to me how did I even know this. Dante smirked knowing exactly what I was thinking then saying ¡°when you got your status screen you were given all the information needed for an adventurer, so now you should have all the needed information for battling enemies.¡± I smirked saying ¡°awesome.¡± The Gunner and the Guardian advanced on us but before the could get the chance to attack, I launched my self at them using a skill called Cross Blade, this skill slashes the enemies in a cross or X shape. My attack was blocked by the Guardian¡¯s Shield but I pushed them back pretty far. Dante was up against the gunner and was up against the Guardian. The Gunner shot at Dante but he easily avoided the shot. As the Gunner was readying his next shot Dante used the skill called Death¡¯s Row, Which casts dark energy around his weapon and cuts the throat of the enemy afterwards it cremates the body and makes it into Dark Energy Crystals. As all of this was going on I was in the midst of battle, the Guardian was very tough to battle with since we were in the same class pool. Our class pool was Warriors of the Kingdom class pool, the classes in this pool were Knight, Guardian, Samurai, and Spearmen. So going up against a class that was similar to yours is especially high but can give you bunch of experience. Even if he was tough he had to have a weakness somewhere, think Bryn where is his weakpoint? Then I spotted something an ice emblem which meant his armor had ice properties, and fire is strong against ice. I used the only skill I had that is a fire element skill and used it on this Guardian. I backstepped but it was no use he was intent on keeping where I was. So I went all out and used the skill called The Knights Blazing Sword and my sword was envolped in bright red flames. I advanced on him and swung my sword in a diagnal slash, cutting through the Guardians armor and slashing im on the chest. My fight was over but Dante¡¯s wasnt his skill Death¡¯s Row did not work out as planned instead he was pinned by the Gunner about to meet his doom. Then suddenly a crystal the hue of red went straight through the gunners body, making him fall to the ground without a scream for pain just silence. I looked over where the crystal had come from and I saw Mr. Caprico there smiling in victory. We had won this battle but somehow I knew this would not be the last one we would encounter. As I had gotten ready to leave the Nero Castello, Dante came running after me and said ¡°please let me travel with you Bryn-chan.¡± I was shocked at first but then recovered by saying ¡°I would love to travel with you.¡± Mr. Caprico saw them off. After they left Mr. Caprico set out on his own journey. His reasoning for this was the foreboding he felt was too much, before he left he burnt down the home he had lived in for a good while of his life.
Sorry for the late chapter anybody who is reading my online novel. Over christmas break I didn''t feel like writing and then after the break I was rushed with a bunch of assignments so yeah most people know how that is. Chapter 4: Loli Mage ¡°Aaah, it¡¯s so hot out today¡­..¡± Said Dante as he wiped the sweat from his forehead, as we were walking down a path with sun beating down on our backs. The past few days have been walking on dirt paths in forests and arriving at villages for supplies. Nothing super important has happened. We have still have not gathered any important information to where we can find the gem of immortality ¡°Fushi¡± . I responded by saying ¡°you got that right I heard from the last village it supposed to be like this for a good while, well that¡¯s summer for ya.¡± Unlike the other pathways in the forest this gave off a very rough and dry environment bring out more of the summer heat. We were still in the country of Aria and we are headed to the village known as Laborun, Home of the Mage library. ¡°well should we take a break and eat lunch before heading down the path a bit more?¡± He said and I nodded in agreement. We came to a clearing and set up to eat lunch. The smell of pre-made takoyaki wafted through the air out of the magical sack of hot and cold (this sack kept anything in it the same temperature as it was once it was put in.) As I bit into the takoyaki the flavor of octopus fills my mouth with hint of mayo and bonito flakes. ¡°aaaaah, these takoyaki taste amazing!¡± I said with the takoyaki enveloping me in a blanket of warmth. We sat there for minutes eating lunch and chatting as the sun beat down at our backs and then I asked Dante ¡°where is your hometown?¡± He replied by saying ¡°the village we are about to enter, why?¡± I was shocked ¡°you used to live in Laborun?¡± I asked, he responded by saying ¡°yeah, my mother still lives there but I haven''t seen her in years.¡± His voice shook as those words came out of his mouth, I could tell that his whole being is on the verge of breaking. The reason behind this? Well if I had to guess, he most likely has no idea if his mother is alive or not. We started to pack up so we could at least try to get into Laborun by nightfall, but as we ventured further along the path we found an obstacle in our way. A giant stone statue of an dragon was set down on the path blocking any entry to Laborun. This very mysterious in itself, I pondered for minutes trying to find an answer to why this statue was blocking our path. Then suddenly out of nowhere the ground rumbled from underneath us. Without hesitation a giant plume of fire erupted in place of the statue, the fire continued for what seemed to be minutes upon minutes. then from the ground claws grabbed ahold of the edges of the hole. The monster that had emerged from the hole in the ground was a dragon, the dragon statue was just bait for the real dragons prey. The dragon was about a few feet taller than we were and my height 163 cm, were as the dragon was 185 cm. The dragon spoke this ¡°it seems you travelers have come across my path¡­.do you know what this means humans?¡± I nodded ¡°no¡± to the dragon and the dragon replied with ¡°this means you shall die by the hands of me Xiuhcoatl, the weapon of destruction!!!¡± Xiuhcoatl got into a fighting stance and so did we, knowing full well we could lose this fight. Xiuhcoatl attacked us first by slashing its tail at us. I blocked it with my heavy armor, but i was pushed back with the amount of force Xiuhcoatl had put into it. Dante jumped high into the air and threw daggers into the Xiuhcoatl¡¯s joints which made him cry out in pain. Xiuhcoatl glared at us with a murderous intent. I quickly checked my status screen it showed Xiuhcoatl¡¯s stats he was a level 57 were as, I was level 19. His HP was at 29,998/30,000 this was not good we were in a pinch, if we did not defeat him we would never get to Laborun and worse we would be dead. I hit Xiuhcoatl with a Cross Slash his HP went down slightly just like with dante¡¯s attack, but then suddenly a voice resounded within my ear telling me ¡°get down so I don¡¯t blind you.¡± I did as I was instructed without thinking, then a flash of light shone above my head and dante¡¯s. A figure came out of the light it was¡­¡­.a loli mage? The mage raised her staff above her head chanted a spell that was unknown to me, and a giant spell circle appeared above Xiuhcoatl. While all this was happening Xiuhcoatl was in a daze and confused. The spell circle sucked Xiuhcoatl right up. All that was left of him was a small figurine of him. The loli mage exclaimed in triumph ¡°I have finally caught a dragon!!!¡± We were in shock of what we just saw, a loli mage had just done what we couldn''t¡­..defeat a dragon. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. From what this loli mage named ¡°Ceola Ithello¡± had said she could do all sorts of magic especially summoning magic. To perform this magic she needed to capture a monster of her choosing to make a pact with so she could summon it in battle. What was going right in front of my eyes you say? Exactly that she was making a pact with the dragon known as ¡°Xiuhcoatl¡±. ¡°zea vee den sen ken xua¡± she readied her staff and the spell had been cast. An enormous magical circle had appeared around the figurine that was Xiuhcoatl. We were currently in the clearing that we had been eating lunch in minutes ago, me and Dante were amazed by Ceola¡¯s skill with magic. The magical circle faded and the figurine broke, it was hollow but you could see a black mist rising out of the hollowness. Seconds later a ring that resembled a fire dragon appeared on Ceola¡¯s right middle finger. She swung around with a smile and said ¡°well, are you amazed onii-san and onee-san?¡± All we did was nod in agreement, she pumped her fist in success. We all sat down to talk things out, but now that I got a good look Ceola she was wearing a cute shirt and skirt that fit her very well. She was also wearing boots that almost came up to her knees, she was also wearing the traditional mage cloak and a witches hat. Her staff was willow wood with a ruby crystal in space where you would put your mana crystal. She spoke up her blood twintails swaying in the wind ¡°Well, you owe me one, you peasants ohohohoho¡± she said with an arrogant tone. My mouth was wide open in awe of how condescending this loli was. Dante opened his mouth to say ¡°Yo, kid why would we? *tch*¡± She uppercut Dante and Dante went flying towards a tree, he hit the tree with a *thump*. He was knocked unconscious, that''s when I went right up to Ceola and she said ¡°wanna get hurt too wimp, humph.¡± That''s when I flicked her on the forehead, Ceola crouched to the ground holding her forehead looking up at me with tears in her eyes. I said ¡°this is what happens when you hurt people without having a real reason, now apologize.¡± She went over to dante who was grunting in pain and said ¡°i¡¯m Sorry Onii-chan.¡± Dante got up and said ¡°sorry for trying to hit you.¡± As we made we set out for dante¡¯s home town, Ceola decided that she would join our group for the time being (she was probably getting lonely). We came across the gate to Laborun but what was there was horrifying. Lizardmen had overrun the city and in the distance Dante and I could see that people were about to be excuted by the lizardmen. Dante said with his voice trembling ¡°Mom, no, no, no.¡± He ran towards the lizardmen and cut their throat, blood spewed from the lizardmen¡¯s throat.
