《Dragon Stole My Cookie!!!》 Bloody Encounters I sat in front of my computer screen, daring my brain to think of some words to type. Nothing came out. I just kept repeatedly typing the letter D on my glowing keyboard. Heavy metal tunes poured through my head. My ears were starting to get a dull pain in them. I turned around to look at the empty atmosphere of my room. So lonely and dark, besides the glow of my screen. This existence is so crap. I feel like my other half packed up their bags and went on a holiday that would never end. I never thought my being could be this empty. My passion and desire were completely useless to me right now. I don¡¯t even have a job. All of the stars seem like they are so far out of line that I¡¯m beginning to think that they won¡¯t realign. I don¡¯t have anger. I don¡¯t have love. I don¡¯t have a heart. I opened the top drawer in my desk and pulled out a blood red book. ¡°That¡¯s it.¡± I said as I found a spark of disappointment in myself. I picked up a black pen and began to write. She sank her long K9¡¯s into the soft skin on a young lady¡¯s neck. Warm blood slipped between her bright red lips and trickled down the girl¡¯s perfectly curved back. The body in her grasp suddenly went limp, and she dumped it carelessly on the ground. She stepped over it in her dark red, leather boots, making her way down a dirt road while licking the ruby liquid from her mouth. A devilish smile spread across her beautifully crafted face. Her sapphire eyes glowed off into the darkness, along with her intricately designed figure. The five metre high iron gate at the front of the huge black castle, blasted open and flew off of its hinges with ease. She gracefully entered just as a crack of green lightning snapped across the clouded night sky. Rain started to pour down and drench the black grass on the long front lawn of the massive structure. It patted heavily against her silver armour and sped down her long red coat. Two large figures emerged from either side of the monstrous door on the front of the building, and headed towards her at inhuman speeds. The smile did not shift from her lips as her body began to build up momentum. She withdrew two crystal daggers that ran down the length of her thighs. She held them behind her, on either side of her body as she snapped into a full blown sprint. The two dark figures got closer and closer. The one on her left pounced forward. She gritted her teeth as she easily sliced off its colossal paw with an upwards strike. She then pivoted her feet and spun her body around in a split second, dug both blades deep into the beast¡¯s side and tore them out just before its hind legs. She snapped her focus to the second creature and leapt high into the air towards it. She brought both weapons down into its snout and she landed her feet on its bottom teeth. It spasmed and yelped as she clung to its head with her daggers. She moved one hand at a time to grab two of its front teeth, she then straightened her body out. A loud and grotesque crack came from the beast¡¯s jaw. It dropped to the ground. Lifeless. She ripped her daggers out of its body, sheathed her bloody blades, then made her way to the castle. There was a knock at the door and a servant wondered over. Clean and crisp, suited up in a tuxedo. Just as he touched the golden handle, the door exploded. Smithereens of black timber recklessly glided into the room. She slammed her boots down in the middle of the gigantic room and put her hands on her hips. She was soaked right down to the bone, and a puddle was beginning to form on the floor beneath her. ¡°SINNERA YOU BITCH!!!¡± Her voice echoed off the high walls and down the two long hallways that ran diagonally on each side of the tremendously elegant staircase. A woman appeared high on the right balcony. She swiftly made her way to the top of the stairs and paused. The drenched girl watched her intently. ¡°Anarchy. What are you doing wet and on my doorstep? Come for some pleasure have we?¡± She rested a sophisticated hand on the thick golden railing and her glittery bright red dress swayed in the motion. A smirk slipped onto her face, her right eyebrow raised above her amber eyes as she waited for a response. ¡°I murdered your pets.¡± ¡°And Beth the wandering widow as well it seems.¡± ¡°You mean that human girl? She wasn¡¯t yours was she?¡± ¡°Nope.¡± ¡°Damn, I would have loved a challenge this early in the night.¡± She said with an evil expression. ¡°What can I do you for Arc?¡± The dignified lady said as she delicately swooped down the many steps. She stopped a foot or two from the dripping, dark haired girl. She was equal height to her, considering the red heels on the other woman were oddly the same vertical measurement as her boots. Idiot. The thought ran through her head. ¡°I heard that.¡± ¡°Good.¡± Her hand shot to the dressed woman¡¯s throat, which didn¡¯t seem to startle her. Anarchy¡¯s guise turned to anger, she then grew out her claws and dug them into her golden skin. Scarlet streams slipped from the punctures. The world around them warped and before she knew it, she was on a beautiful mahogany table with the other woman on top of her. ¡°You still haven¡¯t told me what you are after.¡± ¡°Show me those pretty fangs of yours first.¡± She said with a clenched jaw. She grabbed the top half of Sinnera¡¯s apparel and ripped it off with vigorous force, revealing her black bra underneath. As a response, she slammed her hands on the wood either side of her head. Sinnera slowly leaned in. Her moist lips slightly parted. She then let out an ear piercing shriek, drawing her fangs in the process. It was so chilling that Anarchy laughed in fear. ¡°You almost had me there Sin.¡± She slid a hand up the side of Anarchy¡¯s pale neck and used her nail to dig a slice out of her cheek. ¡°Don¡¯t call me that.¡± ¡°Awe, but I always liked short and sweet.¡± ¡°Try this then.¡± She jumped backwards off the table and ripped off the black leather pants and red boots and threw them away. She then pulled Anarchy towards her and when their bodies clashed, she wrapped her legs around Sinnera. ¡°Better.¡± She said with a predatory thirst. Her blue eyes glistened. Sinnera secured either side of her subtle jaw and didn¡¯t hesitate to collide her lips to Anarchy¡¯s. It was an erotic bloodbath of sexual pleasure and torment. Each girl was tearing at the other¡¯s skin, covering the table in their version of liquid seduction. Anarchy was positioned over her, biting Sinnera¡¯s lip. ¡°That looks like fun.¡± They both turned and hissed at the male lazily leaning against the door frame. ¡°Woah, hold up. I come in relative peace.¡± He said with his hands up. ¡°What do you want Draxian?¡± Sinnera said firmly as both girls faced each other, as if to instantly lose interest in the other person. ¡°Well, I have a little job for you.¡± ¡°Every task you have given me over the last couple of centuries, has been a complete fucking mess.¡± She replied with a knowledgeable tone. ¡°Then why do you keep taking them.¡± Anarchy said with a raised eyebrow. ¡°They are fun.¡± She shrugged. ¡°Actually, this is a job for both of you.¡± He said with a hint of excitement and a touch of pride. Sinnera looked into the blue eyes above her, then wrapped her right hand around the girl¡¯s chin. ¡°We¡¯re listening.¡± She leaned in and tenderly kissed Anarchy, who gladly accepted. He stood silently for a moment and observed them. He then shook it off and took a gulp. ¡°It has to do with and Elder Bind. Soulbinder, in fact.¡± Both girls were already on each side of him, one stroking his hair and the other running her hands up and down his furry jacket. ¡°Go on.¡± Anarchy said, slipping her fingers through his jet black hair. He cleared his throat. ¡°I have its location. But, it will take several hundred years to get there.¡± ¡°So it¡¯s in the future huh? Hmm, interesting.¡± Sinnera said. ¡°Where¡¯s the catch?¡± Anarchy was weary. ¡°It has been passed down to an Archer.¡± Both girls let go of him completely and backed off. ¡°No. We do not accept.¡± ¡°But an Archer could be fun to beat up.¡± Anarchy suggested. ¡°I just fought in a war with both Archer¡¯s. They are not easy to defeat, in fact, Soulbinder is one of the most powerful of the nine Binds.¡± ¡°But your book is stronger, and what do you mean by nine?¡± Anarchy was being persistent. She looked to Sinnera for an answer. ¡°Sinnera?¡± ¡°Her book was banished as an Elder Bind.¡± Daxian regretfully explained. The dark haired girl looked to Sinnera for something, but she just stood with her fists clenched and anger invading her emotions. ¡°Leave Daxian. We will talk later.¡± ¡°As you wish Sinnera.¡± He then disappeared in a cloud of shadows. Anarchy walked over to her. A confused expression on her face. By this time all of their wounds were well and truly healed. She looked at the state of her companion and decided to just hug her instead. If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it.¡°I was removed because someone decided to rewrite my story. How can I exist if my story does not even existent?¡± She whispered into Anarchy¡¯s shoulder. ¡°Someone has your book? Shit.¡± A moment or two passed. ¡°Wait, do you remember all of your wars?¡± ¡°Yes. I keep all of my memories, but every time my book is passed on to another, it has blank pages.¡± She pulled away from Anarchy. ¡°That is why I have heaps of crazy adventures.¡± She began to walk down a long obsidian hallway with a high ceiling and red carpet down the middle. Her partner following closely, listening. ¡°Sometimes people do not write in the book. But sometimes they do. I have been through some extremely gruesome tasks.¡± She stopped and opened a large door to her left. They both stepped into the room which was like a giant closet. It was stocked full with leather and armor. Also, there was a whole wall dedicated to an arsenal of deadly weapons. ¡°The people who vote for the Binds to be labeled only allowed my book because it was in the permanent possession of one highly trusted individual.¡± Anarchy stopped shuffling through apparel and looked to her, waiting for an answer. Sinnera straightened up and sighed. ¡°Ella Archer.¡± ¡°You¡¯re shitting me...no way. But that means. she wrote everyone of your recent stories.¡± ¡°Yep, that includes the war that Aaron Archer and her died in. Or she didn¡¯t, I wouldn¡¯t know¡± ¡°So she doomed her hubby and herself to a painful and unsuccessful death... You don¡¯t think she planned it do you?¡± Sinnera went back to matching her clothes. ¡°Well. There is next to no way we will ever know that.¡± ¡°True, but this crap with Daxian is definitely linked to your book and the war.¡± ¡°It''s certainly worth looking into. I just hope that the new writer isn¡¯t a delinquent and makes me do some stupid shit.¡± ¡°So you are not aware of what the writer has written and what is your own decision?¡± ¡°No. It just always feels like I¡¯m the one in control.¡± ¡°What if they write about me and you having a shower together?¡± ¡°Arc. They don¡¯t need to write about that. It''s gonna happen whether they like it or not.¡± ¡°Well I¡¯ll be waiting then.¡± After they had a hot, steamy shower of kinkyness, they suited up and walked out the gaping whole where the door used to be. ¡°You still haven¡¯t told me what you came to my home for.¡± ¡°Oh, I have to kill you later. My boss demands it.¡± ¡°Your boss is my boss?¡± ¡°Yeah but you know, he gets in these moods.¡± ¡°Well you can tell Satan that he can shove it up his arse. And you really need to stop borrowing my gear. Actually, just stop coming over altogether.¡± ¡°But no one gets me wet like you do.¡± She said with an innocent voice. ¡°Good point.¡± The sky began to brighten as dawn made its hasty approach. The two fully armed women just kept walking down a long winding dirt road. Eventually they made it to the border of an enormous city. Day had long since broken and poured its brightness over the land. The guards did not hesitate to let them in. When they emerged on the other side of the small tunnel, the world exploded into a bustling metropolis. There were people everywhere, some carried all sorts of crates and baskets. A group of knights walked passed them, watching, in case the opportunity to strike came forth. Everyone could tell that they were both vampires. The leather and silver armor was a dead give away. Though they were proud of their nature, and not prepared to just give it up. The city streets flowed with a kind of organised chaos, which was well known to Sinnera. She easily slid between carts and stalls. Not touching a thing. Anarchy moved behind her with a certain animalistic grace, unique to her design. She was a deadly fighter, who fought like her life was on the line, which explained how swiftly she could move. But the only thoughts that ever ran through her mind when she entered a battle were, how to take down my prey in the width of two seconds. Every fight was a challenge for her, and she loved challenging herself. Her cerulean eyes glistened in the sunlight, dashing from one side to another, scanning the area. She was a predator, and that is all that can be said. Aside from that. She had a rough, sarcastic attitude, like an average vampress. The only person she ever cared about was Sinnera. Mainly because Sinnera taught her everything she knows. Sin found her one day. Lying on the dark soil of Hell, next to a flaming ash tree. She was full of blood and half burnt. She could tell that she was a vampire, mainly because half of her face was ripped off and her teeth could be seen. There was a small village that was just down the hill to where she was. It was completely singed and burned to the ground. Sin knew she was the one to blame. When Anarchy woke up she was completely healed and existing on the earthly plain. She also didn¡¯t recall her name. Sin decided to call her Anarchy, because when she found her, she had a smile on her sizzling body. Sin trained her to be one of the best fighters across every continent. Anarchy does not hang around her though. She likes to wreak havoc, so she is never really home, and she also lives away from Sin. Anarchy has earned her position as the only person that Sinnera truly trusts. After a couple of hours they reached the opposite side of the city, where the shipyard was situated. Each dock was hundreds of feet long and housed massive ships designed to carry goods and cargo far across the sea. At the far end of the docks, there were a group of smaller ships and a large tavern. There was a great deal of movement in front of it, lively music and cheering came from inside. As they got closer, they could see that a bunch of people were crammed around the entrance, watching something inside. Just as the girls arrived, a body was thrown through the opening and into the bulky men outside. It tumbled about and ended up falling on its back at the feet of the two girls. They looked down at it. ¡°Ai, Sin, Ana! Whatcha doing down here?¡± ¡°Jrac you pathetic bastard. On the ground as usual.¡± Anarchy snapped. ¡°Awe, you gotta love me though ai, hahaha. Help me up girlies.¡± He offered his hands and the girls helped him up with ease. ¡°Sorry boys, I got some important company here, I¡¯ll finish me brawl later.¡± A few voices muttered oks and went back to cheering and betting. ¡°What can I do for ya today ladies?¡± ¡°We need your ship.¡± Sin said and Jrac scratched the scales on his neck. ¡°Hmm, that¡¯s gonna be a bit hard. I lent me baby to one of me mates. In the tavern back there, he¡¯s a nasty one. A fella with a long grey beard. He probably won¡¯t give it to ya without a price.¡± ¡°Right.¡± Anarchy stormed off into the building. ¡°She¡¯s on fire that one. How¡¯ve you been my pretty lady?¡± ¡°Besides the shitstorm of magical crap that is sitting on my doorstep. I¡¯m good.¡± A huge crack came from the direction Anarchy went. ¡°How about you Jrac.¡± A thundering smash. ¡°How¡¯s the plundering going?¡± ¡°Good, good. I¡¯m not complainin¡¯. I just emptied a village full of shinies. So I¡¯m set for the time being.¡± The music stopped. ¡°When is your next term.¡± Sin said pointing to the scales on his neck. ¡°Ah, when the next full moon comes about. My cycles are goin¡¯ great these days.¡± He put his hands on his hips. Anarchy waltzed out of the door with a scroll in her hand. Everyone just watched her, mesmerized. ¡°Here we are. The deed to the ship.¡± After that everyone behind her cheered. The music started back up and everything went back to normal. Jrac let out a roaring laugh. ¡°Well I guess I should get goin¡¯, good luck girls!¡± On that note he turned and ran back into the lively building. Jrac was a mermaid. His species is allowed to roam the land for a certain length of time before they have to go back to the water. He looked as if he was in his thirties. A thick head of light brown, short hair covered his head and an unshaven beard seemed to be the way he always looked. His eyes were a warm brown which made him look intriguing overall, but regardless of his appearance, he still had the best personality of any pirate. The girls went around to the end of the shorter dock that was connected to Jrac¡¯s tavern. A massive cave was home to Medusa, the fastest ship in the land, also the strongest. She bobbed up and down in the still water, waiting patiently for a master. They climbed aboard and the crew looked at them with surprise. ¡°I think they were expecting greybeard.¡± Anarchy loudly whispered. Sin replied with a nod. ¡°Ok boys, we are ye new captains.¡± Sinnera said and Anarchy held up the scroll. ¡°Deal with it.¡± Troublesome Teacher Some of the crew shrugged, then went back to their chores. ¡°You forgot boys, and girl!¡± A female voice yelled from the rigging above them. They looked up and watched as the woman slid down and did a frontflip onto the deck in front of them. ¡°Second in charge, Keelan Uridia, at your service.¡± She did a small bow then straightened up. Her purple eyes were like none Anarchy had ever seen before. Her dark brown hair was tied in a ponytail and she smelt of sea salt and fresh ocean breeze. The two seductresses just looked over at each other and smiled. ¡°To Saragah, Miss Uridia.¡± Sinnera said with a formal tone. ¡°Aye aye captain.¡± She said with a smile towards Anarchy. ¡°I think she likes you Arc.¡± Anarchy just stood, mesmerised by the strange beauty of the specimen before her. Keelan turned and began shouting commands to the crew as she ran up to the large wooden steering wheel. Anarchy¡¯s eyes watching intently. ¡°And you¡¯re out of it, ok.¡± Sinnera stalked over to the captain¡¯s cabin and opened the door. They spent a long three days and four nights on Medusa before they reached the golden shores of Saragah. It was an island big enough to be considered a continent. It was also home to the majority of Sorceren. People and beings trained or gifted with certain magical abilities. Vampires also fall under this title, along with thousands of others. The island consisted of many different landscapes, all of which had their own seasons. The land itself was governed by Sorcery, so the soil, rocks and plants, moved to the power of the Sorceren on them. For example; Baladain, which is one of the smaller lands of Saragah, is a dark and dangerous place where no light is shed, and an eternal night lingers. It is like this because of the Shadow Casters that live within it. They are taught in darkness, therefore the land around them is also dark. The land adapts to make its species stronger. Simple. Where the international trade and travelling dock was situated, was on a tropical part of the massive land. It was more suited for the rich and wealthy that traveled in and out of this major area regularly. This was where the smaller ships came in and traded goods or dropped off passengers, huge shipments of supplies or weapons in large numbers came from a dock that was located on the shore of the land next to this one. It was located away from this port to keep aesthetic value for the expensive people that passed through, as the other port was significantly uglier. It was also three times the size of this dock, with much bigger ships. There were smaller docks around the entire island, leading to all of the other lands specifically, but this one was the most well known. And safe. Sort of. It ran nearly two kilometers down the length of the bustling paradise known as Teisian. A land that was as keen to the eye as it was to the pocket. ¡°Teisian huh?¡± Arc said as she leaned on the railing next to Sinnera and tightened her left bracelet. ¡°Oh you noticed, I thought you would be spending too much time screwing the first mate to see that huge hulking mass over there.¡± Sinnera said with a hint of anger. ¡°Sin. Are you jealous?¡± The dark haired girl said with a smile as she put a hand on her hip and turned to face her partner on the right. ¡°Jealous. Of her? In your twisted little dreams Anarchy.¡± She snapped at her. ¡°Yep I hit a nerve.¡± Her lips parted, about to say something sarcastic, then she stopped. She watched as Sin¡¯s crimson hair whipped around in the breeze. It chose to take a natural wavy shape. Which reminded Anarchy of the ocean below them. Rising and falling. The midday sun gave radiance to the silkiness of it, much like the bright slithers of light that danced on the peaks of the water. Sinnera turned to her, a motion of grace, and raised an eyebrow. ¡°What are you staring at?¡± She half yelled, through a fresh gust of wind that blew a strand of red across her face. Arc moved a little closer. ¡°Call me a psycho maniac,¡± she brushed the strand from Sin¡¯s golden eyes, ¡°but I think I¡¯m in love with you.¡± She gave a warm smile that her partner was confused at. They stood for a moment, gazing over one another, perceiving each other''s appearances. ¡°You¡¯re a psycho maniac.¡± Sinnera said then she turned on her heel and walked off, like she had just won a hundred gold pieces in a drinking challenge against a six foot muscle man. Anarchy watched her waltz off, biting her lip. She then ran off to trail behind her companion. ¡°Why exactly are we in Teisian anyway?¡± Anarchy said, watching a pair of men heave a barrel onto another, still following in Sin¡¯s step as they stalked across black wooden decking. ¡°I need to, intimidate someone, for a bit of information.¡± Sinnera explained with her business-like tone. ¡°So we are either, bashing someone, murdering someone, or destroying valued personal property, which includes humans, or all of the above.¡± Anarchy counted on her fingers. ¡°Good, you are learning.¡± ¡°You know you are not my teacher anymore, you can stop with the boring formal voice.¡± ¡°Once a teacher. Always a teacher. You should know that Anarchy. Besides, you are still learning.¡± ¡°Come on Sinnera. Where did the fun version of you go? You remember the days when we murdered innocent lives, set fire to cattle, stole rich men¡¯s wives?¡± ¡°Those days are over, I have more important matters at hand.¡± ¡°I want Sin back.¡± Anarchy stopped and crossed her arms like a temperamental child. She turned and looked at the crew shuffling about the deck. Sinnera stopped, clenched her fists. The corner of Arc¡¯s mouth tilted up slightly. Sinnera turned and walked slowly back to her comrade. ¡°This is why I moved out.¡± Arc added. ¡°I¡¯m like this because you moved out.¡± Anarchy turned her head slightly and raised and eyebrow. ¡°What the?¡± ¡°When you left, I fucking broke down in tears. You completely wrecked me.¡± Sin whisper yelled. Anarchy was shocked. ¡°You kicked me out?¡± She said with a confused tone. ¡°Yeah but I didn¡¯t think you would actually go. It was fucking ridiculous. You¡¯re fucking ridiculous.¡± Sin turned and began walking away when Anarchy caught her right elbow. ¡°Now I think I might actually have to kill you.¡± She said with a touch of anger in her voice. Sin spun and had Anarchy hanging by the throat, two feet off the ground. ¡°You already killed me.¡± She growled through baring teeth. Her expression, torn by hatred. She looked straight into Anarchy¡¯s blue eyes for a long moment. Then dropped her, turned and continued on her original path. Anarchy stood. Completely unphased. ¡°Shit. This is gonna be a long journey.¡± She started on the same path as Sinnera. As she observed the crew, no one seemed to care about what had just happened, they just went on with their chores. ¡°If only I knew what we are doing?¡± Sinnera was talking to Keelan, who was steering the ship when she caught up with her. They seemed to be in a heated conversation about the dock and some important people. Anarchy looked over at Saragah while leaning against the railing on the top deck. She thought of all the possibilities as to why they would need to go there. Sin had thousands of contacts and friends in Saragah, but she also had an equal amount of enemies and hunters trying to kill her on the same island. All over the world in fact. Everyone was after her. Heck, even Anarchy was told to kill her. Both her and Sinnera are Devil¡¯s Advocates. Assassins for Satan himself, though they only killed highly revered people like kings and queens or lords and ladies. Just to stir up a bit of trouble for the Devil to get a kick out of the mortal world. Sometimes he would put his own Advocates up against each other, this usually happened when he had too many of them under a contract at once. He was only allowed up to six, right now he had seven, so one had to die. Seeing as these assassins are the best killers, he put them up against each other. Anarchy knew that if she fought Sinnera, she would die. Sinnera is the embodiment of blood and fear after all. Her mortal appearance was aesthetically appealing on the eye, but it didn¡¯t do justice to her godly title. Her true name. Sin. ¡°Oi. Ana.¡± Keelan got her attention. ¡°We are heading into dock, so make sure you¡¯re ready.¡± Sinnera had walked off and was shuffling around some papers at the very back of the top deck, about ten odd meters from Keelan. Arc was not even aware of the worried look on her own face until Keelan spoke again. ¡°Hey. Come here.¡± Anarchy wandered over. ¡°What¡¯s eatin ya?¡± ¡°Um, nothing in particular.¡± She hesitated. ¡°Well that doesn¡¯t seem like the case.¡± She looked at Arc then back to the ocean ahead of her. They were fast approaching the dock. Long piers stretched out from the main structure like teeth on a metal rake. Hundreds of ships were moored, either being loaded, unloaded or repaired. Waiting for their captain to return, or their passengers to arrive. Keelan steered Medusa towards the east port. Which was more suited to travel, the west was for supplies. ¡°You really worry about her don¡¯t you?¡± ¡°No. Maybe. No I don¡¯t. She can handle herself.¡± Arc said defiantly. Having her own emotional war. ¡°I¡¯m not worried about her.¡± The ship naturally glided through the first part of the pier with ease as the crew lowered the sails. There were lookouts positioned on tall posts, guiding new arrivals into a free dock. A red flag was signalling to the right, Keelan waved in response and turned the wheel slightly to the right. The ship obeyed, slicing through the calm waters. ¡°Sinnera knows where her heart lies.¡± A dozen paddles came out from each side of the ship after she yelled a command. The ship was guided by Keelan¡¯s instructions before it made it swiftly into a dock and came to a halt. Anarchy waited for her to finish her commands, so she could explain her point. ¡°Your emotions are the ones that need some conclusions, Ana.¡± She said, relaxing her body against the wheel and putting her left hand into her pants pocket. ¡°I don¡¯t know how to win that fight.¡± Anarchy said, returning her guise to worried. ¡°Bah! Emotions are the easy bit. I find wielding my knife at dinner hard enough, let alone a sword.¡± They shared a laugh, which seemed to ease the tension in Arc¡¯s shoulders. ¡°It''s not easy for a vampire to understand feelings though, we are drawn to every type of sexual pleasure, which is not far from love I guess.¡± ¡°True, but love and sex are miles apart if you can spot the difference.¡± ¡°Is there a potion for that? Maybe a book? Spell even?¡± Keelan laughed and Arc smiled. ¡°Nah. Love is more powerful than any spell. You¡¯ll know it when you feel it.¡± ¡°Thanks Keelan.¡± She turned and looked at Sinnera for a few good seconds. She was shoving papers into a pouch on her belt. I felt it alright. Sin turned around, put her hands on her hips and looked at Anarchy with a ¡®yeah right¡¯ expression. After Sin instructed Keelan to take Medusa back to Jrac, the two vampires said their goodbyes and headed off on their objective. ¡°So where are we heading?¡± ¡°Gods, you¡¯re like a phoenix hatchling.¡± ¡°I¡¯m cute and on fire?¡± ¡°No you¡¯re an annoying, hot little shit.¡± ¡°Well at least I¡¯m hot.¡± ¡°Hot headed.¡± Sin loudly mumbled. ¡°That¡¯s mean.¡± They argued the entire way through the Gateway to Teisian. Which was a fairly busy place, markets around these parts sold high value goods. The floors and pillars were made of a certain white polished stone, which Arc expected to have magical properties. The Gateway was a huge hallway-like structure that was built to shelter the markets on either side and allow carts and revered people plenty of room to walk in the middle. Just about every edge of a structure was lined with gold trimming. Real gold. Guards in shiny armour stood on every possible corner. Fully armed and fully trained to kill. Anarchy winked at one and a sour look invaded his face. ¡°Sheesh, these guards mean business.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t get on their bad side, these guys are actually trained well.¡± ¡°Oh really?¡± ¡°Don¡¯t you dare Anarchy. I need to talk to their general, so don¡¯t even think about messing with them.¡± ¡°Fine. Killjoy.¡± Sin spun around with enough speed to create a small gust of wind. Arc stopped. She then noticed something just behind her dark haired companion and in an inch of a second, Sin threw her hoodie over her head and kissed Anarchy. Throwing her arms around Arc¡¯s neck so her crimson hair couldn¡¯t be seen. Anarchy got the memo and wrapped half of her coat around Sinnera¡¯s black blade on her left thigh. A group of men fully armed in black apparel and weapons thudded past them. Once they were a good distance away, Sin pulled back, looked at Anarchy¡¯s bright eyes, then down at her lips. She ran her thumb across them, as if she was savouring the taste. She then made a suggestive ¡®hm¡¯, turned and continued walking. ¡°Um, what the fuck?¡± Anarchy just stood there while Sin disappeared into the crowd. Sinnera slipped through the people and carts, tailing the group of men. She watched as they whispered amongst themselves while on their way down the long road to the palace. She kept her black hood just over her eyes, still able to determine her surroundings. She knew that they saw straight through her disguise, so she followed them, knowing what they wanted. The whole group ducked into a side street and into another until they soon reached a space big enough for a battle and clear of people. There was no perfect polished stone here. Only red dirt and cracked walls. This was clearly one of the poorer parts of Teisian. Sinnera walked around the corner and slowly walked out as she observed the line of men standing before her. Her left hand slipped smoothly over the leather wrapped handle of the curved blade secured to her left thigh. ¡°Sinnera Vinella Delanorin!¡± The man on the right end sternly yelled with a deep voice and a hint of accent. All men ripped out their weapons and stood in fighting positions. Moving in unision. Sin slid her other hand onto the red blade strapped to her right thigh. ¡°That¡¯s embarrassing.¡± She said to herself. ¡°How are you doing Saneer?¡± She yelled back at him. ¡°Give us back the twin blades!¡± She ripped the two weapons from their sheaths and held them backwards, along her forearms. The area around her exploded with red and black magic. The walls around them darkened and the atmosphere went into a deathly chill. A yellow glow emitted from beneath her dark hood and the corners of her perfect lips curled to form a petrifying grin. The magic quickly retracted and began slowly climbing through the veins in her elegantly crafted hands. Then she spoke. A seductive echo of extinction. An invisible icy touch that ran up the spines of each man ahead of her. ¡°Come get them.¡± They dived forward. Each of them clinging to their weapons for dear life. The first plunged their pike forward. The blade flew off of the long pole and stuck into the wall five meters to the left. She deflected the rest of the lengthy handle with her right weapon and spun around with her left. He was then on the ground, decapitated. The next threw one of his swords into her left parry and aimed the second at her mid torso. She flipped the blade in her right hand so she was holding it correctly. His hand came off before the cold metal even touched her. She knelt on one knee. The third brought a claymore down on her almost instantly after and she flipped her right blade back then crossed both weapons over above her head. The lean muscles in her body tensed beneath her golden skin. She sliced straight through the solid metal sword. A weapon that had taken months to smith into an instrument of destruction. Cut clean in half. She pulled her blades further back and propelled herself forward. Tearing through the thick muscle of the warrior¡¯s upper arms, the bone, the abdomen, ribcage, lungs, heart, then spine. Both blades crossed over and ran through the same path. Blood erupted from his halved corpse and exploded in all directions. This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience. She stood. Scarlet dripped off of her leather and silver. The air was still. The crisp, sweet smell of of a fresh kill filled her lungs as she breathed in deeply. She exhaled. Condensation making her breath visible to the eye. She slowly licked her precious lips. ¡°Saneer? Would you like a go.¡± He stood inches from her. Shaking. Totally covered in blood and paralyzed from the massacre before him. She brought her right hand to his chest, still clutching the blade. His eye twitched. She extended her index finger and applied a little pressure. He fell to the ground like a dropped wooden plank. ¡°Didn¡¯t think so.¡± She said as she sheathed her weapons. After she did so the world around her returned to its red dirt and cracked white walls. She took her hood off and looked to the blue sky. Only noticing now that it was a nice day to be out. ¡°Hmm.¡± She fell to her knees. A dark figure covered her vision. As her eyes adjusted to the shade, she could make out the sapphire eyes and frown of her companion. ¡°Oh. Hi.¡± ¡°You. Are a delinquent.¡± Anarchy said with her hands on her hips. ¡°That¡¯s a wee bit harsh, don¡¯t you agree?¡± Sinnera said, dazed and delusional. Her body swayed. Arc crouched down and looked at Sin with disappointment. ¡°Why can¡¯t you just use a normal pair of daggers like everyone else?¡± She picked up Sinnera¡¯s wrists and observed the black veins, which lead to just below her elbows. The darkness was slowly dissipating, three times slower than it grew. Anarchy looked around and there were no bodies on the ground, except Saneer who was now unconscious. But Sin was still covered in far more blood for just one man. ¡°We should go on a holiday...hic.¡± She managed to get that whole sentence out. Arc¡¯s mouth dropped. ¡°Are you serious?¡± She dropped her wrists and grabbed Sin¡¯s jaw. ¡°You¡¯re fucking drunk.¡± ¡°Language young lady.¡± Sin waved a finger in Arc¡¯s face as she mumbled the words then laughed. ¡°Hic...oops. That wasn¡¯t part of the speech okay? He he he...¡± ¡°You are so dead Delanorin.¡± ¡°Eww I hate that name. Hic. It was my mummy¡¯s.¡± Sin shakily stood up, wobbled, then threw her hands in the air. ¡°Catch meeeee! Hic.¡± She then fell towards her partner. ¡°Oh shit.¡± Anarchy rose and scooped Sin up on the way. Heaving her over her right shoulder. ¡°Come on you drunk, time for a bath.¡± Sin was singing tunes all the way to a bathing house, then all the way through her bath, and while she stumbled naked out the door. Anarchy dragged her back in, then shook the crap out of her. ¡°Why in the bloody Hell are you still drunk?¡± She had Sin by her shoulders. Standing in the middle of a room made completely of dark wood. The tub of warm red water that Arc bathed her in was in the far right corner. A pile of wet towels and clothes was in the other. It was a medium sized space, with a small window in the middle of the back wall letting in enough light for the whole room. Sin¡¯s golden, glistening body swayed in Anarchy¡¯s hands. She slowly looked down and realised the woman before her was completely naked, and totally vulnerable. The thought of taking advantage crossed through her mind, and lingered. As she looked down it became more tempting, then she looked back up to see her companion¡¯s irritated face. ¡°Anarchy.¡± The thought flew out of her mind like a deer that had just dodged an arrow. ¡°Why am I naked?¡± ¡°Is this the bit where we have a hot, sexy bath together?¡± Arc said with a questioning tone and a goofy manner. Sin threw her out the small window. By the time they were back on the road to the palace, it was well into the afternoon and traffic had died down through the streets. Merchants were selling off what they could before they packed up for the day. Though, in truth, Teisian was a city that never slept. All through the night, celebrations and feasts were on all over the richer parts of the exorbitantly valued metropolis. Taverns were always full of drunks and more celebrations as many revered warriors stopped here to claim their rewards and boast of their extraordinary feats. Anarchy was somewhat thankful for the last rays of sunlight that the afternoon provided. At night, all of her senses ignited, she became an animal. Sin was here though. Which was reassuring for her. They padded along, finally reaching the biggest entrance that a palace could possibly have. Ginormous doors made from pure gold. ¡°Those are at least twenty times bigger than your gates.¡± Anarchy said while they stood at the bottom, staring up at the enormous barrier. ¡°I almost feel insignificant.¡± Sin said. ¡°Ma¡¯am.¡± A guard advertised himself. Fully clad in golden armour and dark blue cloth. ¡°I need to see General Braxious.¡± ¡°Name?¡± ¡°Sinnera Delanorin.¡± Both girls noticed him flinch as she named herself. ¡°You may go straight through, ma¡¯am.¡± He bowed slightly then turned to signal a guard on the top of the wall. That guard then pulled hard on a large metal lever that opened the huge entrance wide enough for the girls to walk through. When they emerged on the other side, their eyes were challenged with an even greater sight. The biggest structure on the land, the Teisian Palace. It was twenty times the size of Sin¡¯s massive black castle and beyond exquisite in anyone''s eyes. It was truly beautiful, crafted by the best builders gathered from far away lands. It stood tall and strong. Elegant yet vigorous. Made of eighty percent of the world¡¯s gold... ¡°It¡¯s so glorious, so lustrous, so enormously extravagant!¡± Anarchy raised her hands while ranting about. ¡°If I were a peasant. I would have just peed myself.¡± Sinnera said with a shocked expression. Anarchy stopped and slowly looked over to Sin. She tried so hard to hold it in, but she just burst out in laughter instead. She was on the ground before Sin snapped out of it. The guards on this side of the gate were looking at them with half confused, half worried faces. Sin helped Anarchy up. ¡°Come on, we should get going.¡± She said through a smile. Anarchy slipped her arm around Sin¡¯s back and Sin did the same. They walked up the palace steps, still in each other¡¯s friendly hold. They instantly dropped arms just before they got to the top of the two hundred steps. ¡°Sometimes I wish I was human, just to see if I would die from something like that.¡± She motioned her thumb over her shoulder. ¡°That nearly broke the vampiric exercise barrier.¡± ¡°Ha ha, you¡¯re losing your edge Arc.¡± Sin implied. ¡°Hardly.¡± She turned and had a quick glance at the setting sun while they stood on the top step. ¡°Sin.¡± ¡°I know, don¡¯t worry.¡± She looked at the massive open hallway that lead straight to the King¡¯s throne. Which from here, looked like a small speck at the end of the whole structure. Giant pillars that held up the extremely high ceiling, led all the way down to the throne. The interior was decorated with, even more gold, and hundreds of different shades of blue. Long, thick banners hung down each pillar, and a huge carpet lead all the way down the middle. The floor was made out of a cerulean mineral. And more gold. ¡°Of all the years I have lived, I can say that I have never set foot in here.¡± Sin said looking up with a concerned expression as they began their walk. ¡°Thank the gods for that. This place was designed by an insomniac.¡± ¡°There are some species that don¡¯t have to sleep.¡± ¡°Oh yeah, like what?¡± Sin looked over at Anarchy with a raised eyebrow. ¡°Us you dodo.¡± ¡°Yeah but we need sleep too.¡± ¡°Only every two days.¡± There was a long pause. ¡°When did you last sleep?¡± ¡°Four days ago.¡± Anarchy said quietly after she cleared her throat. ¡°You have got to be kidding me.¡± Sin¡¯s pace increased. ¡°You are aware that your sleep patterns affect your beast state?¡± Her voice taking a serious tone. ¡°I know, I know. But it took me a few days to get to your place, and there were a pack of wolves chasing after me.¡± ¡°Wolves?¡± Sin turned her full attention to Arc. ¡°There are no Wolves on my land?¡± ¡°Well there are, because there were.¡± ¡°No there isn¡¯t. What colour were their pelts?¡± ¡°Caramel. But the main one was red.¡± ¡°Half man form or complete wolf?¡± ¡°Half-man, and damn they run fast. I almost used beast form to get away from them.¡± ¡°So you mean Werewolves?¡± ¡°Wolf, Wulf, Werewolves, what¡¯s the difference, they¡¯re all wolves?¡± Sin sighed. ¡°Ok. Time for a lesson.¡± She took in a deep breath. ¡°A Wolf is just a large predatory dog which usually travels in a pack. A Werewolf is a half-man wolf-like creature that can shift into form at anytime it sees fit, it also travels in a pack, unless of course that person was kicked out of their pack for a dishonourable act. It is significantly stronger than a Wulf, pronounced ¡®Walf¡¯, which happens to just be a man infected with a curse that forcefully changes them into a large wolf on a full moon night totally against their will.¡± She breathed out, still walking. ¡°Oh.¡± ¡°Didn¡¯t you study any of those books I gave you.¡± ¡°No.¡± ¡°You disappoint me.¡± ¡°Well, I¡¯m sorry. I was too busy trying to hold my hunger down.¡± ¡°You still have troubles with that beast state of yours don¡¯t you.¡± ¡°Not entirely. I can only control parts of it.¡± ¡°I know how to control it.¡± They were almost at the end of their walk. ¡°They were Werewolves.¡± ¡°Tawniss. Or as I like to call them, Tawnies. They are quite a large pack of Werewolves with caramel coloured pelts. Their lieutenants usually have red pelts and their generals have brown pelts. They have a huge vendetta against me.¡± ¡°Why?¡± ¡°They had close relations to the Archers.¡± ¡°Oh shit.¡± ¡°They must know that you were trained by me.¡± ¡°Well they certainly seemed intent on killing me.¡± ¡°They will be tracking us down from now on, keep your guard up. Saragah happens to be the Werewolf homeland.¡± ¡°Lovely.¡± Anarchy sarcastically added as they arrived at the foot of the throne. The King was clothed in the finest blues that money could buy. He also had the most ridiculously large crown for how small and narrow his head seemed. Arc couldn¡¯t help but grin. She had to restrain herself from laughing. ¡°Sinnera!¡± General Braxious bellowed as he stepped down from the side of the throne. ¡°What brings you, and your beautiful companion, to the King¡¯s fine palace at such a time as twilight?¡± ¡°Braxious. You look well my wartorn friend.¡± She said as she accepted his offered embrace. ¡°Wartorn. Hah! I¡¯m barely touched by battle.¡± ¡°Spent more nights in taverns and brothels have we?¡± ¡°I would say no, but that would be a lie.¡± They shared a laugh while Anarchy wandered past them. ¡°Arc.¡± She half turned towards Sin. ¡°Watch the time.¡± ¡°Gotcha.¡± She turned and walked closer to the throne and paused before the two massive tigers at the bottom. Their coats were both titanium white with the darkest of browns colouring their stripes. She shared the similar tone of sapphire, for their eyes. One got up and the thick chain connected to its huge gold collar, scraped along the polished ground. It came over to her, it¡¯s paw silently landed near her right foot, but she felt the heavy vibration in the stone beneath her. It¡¯s head was equal in height to hers. It leaned in and sniffed her face. Not seeing her as a threat, it sat, waiting for nothing in particular. ¡°Do you like him?¡± A deep voice came from above her. She looked around, then up to the ceiling. ¡°God?¡± ¡°Over here.¡± The voice was partially agitated. ¡°Oh, your highness. My sincere apologies, I thought it was someone else.¡± She did a small bow and dressed her face with the edge of a smirk. ¡°It is fine. Many people who see me, find that my voice is inaccurate, according to my outer appearance.¡± He spoke at a slower than average speed, but his low vocals were crisp and easy to the ear. It was true though, his voice did not match his features. ¡°In regards to my question¡¡± She hesitated for a millisecond then remembered his enquiry. ¡°Ah, yes, he is beautiful.¡± She looked into the feline¡¯s eyes, which hovered above her now. ¡°May I?¡± She lifted her hand as she asked. ¡°He won¡¯t bite.¡± He gave a small laugh and watched as Anarchy offered her hand up at the tiger. It bowed its head and gently touched it¡¯s nose to her pale palm. She slid her hand up his snout and buried her fingers into the smooth fur on the top of his head. ¡°Vicerous.¡± She whispered and his eyes glimmered for a moment. She seemed like she was in a trance. Unmoving, until Sin grabbed her elbow. Both her and the tiger looked at Sin and lightly growled. ¡°We need to go. Now.¡± She began to drag Anarchy away when she turned back and addressed the King. ¡°Your highness. It is a divine pleasure to be in your presence.¡± She did a full bow. ¡°Likewise Lady Sinnera.¡± ¡°I do hope you can excuse my rude, hasty departure, but I am in a bit of a hurry.¡± ¡°Please, it is an honor to have you set foot on my land. Forgive me for not treating you.¡± ¡°All is well.¡± She began walking backwards. ¡°We shall have a feast, in future.¡± ¡°Indeed. Salutations my good Lady.¡± ¡°Farewell, Wise King.¡± He gave a short laugh and a smile. On which she took the opportunity to turn and leave. Oh Shit!! She dragged Arc all the way out of the palace grounds and back through the giant entrance. By that time, Arc was breathing heavily and barely able to walk straight. Sin ducked into a street that ran off of the main road to the palace, still dragging Anarchy. This street was dimly lit, and appeared to be empty. Just as she stopped, Anarchy¡¯s body went limp. Sin caught her and lowered her down, leaning the pale body of her companion against the side of a building. If it weren¡¯t for the top half being tied back, Arc¡¯s long dark mane would be shielding her eyes from view. Sin balanced her partner¡¯s jaw in her hand. While she waited for a response, she studied her ally¡¯s features. Anarchy looked more like a young girl, compared to Sin, who had the look of a well matured young woman. Her dark hair brought out the brightness of her blue eyes, making them seem much lighter than they actually were. And even though her eyelids were currently sealed, she was able to picture the color of her mate¡¯s irises, gleaming with mischief. She looked peaceful now, which was saying alot, considering Anarchy¡¯s destructive behavior and skillful ability to sabotage everything. Her jaw was elegant and took on a strong, yet slightly curved shape. She had a straight-edged nose, which was just the right length from her face. The overall nature of her profile was, one could say, a cuter version of a seductive and extremely visually appealing female specimen. Sin slowly dropped her head and it lulled to the side. ¡°Arc. Come on girl. Fight it.¡± She said quietly to her unconscious friend. Few moments passed before Anarchy¡¯s eyes flicked open. Though this time, instead of round pupils, there were long black slits. Her head dashed up, eyes fixated on Sin. She moved swiftly into a crouching position, fingertips just touching the ground. Her nostrils moved as she sniffed the air in front of her. She then began growling. Her face contorted to create a sneer. Her long vampiric k9¡¯s were able to be clearly seen, along with a new pair of pointy teeth just behind them. Sin moved with the beastly Anarchy as she stood, following her actions. ¡°Try and keep up.¡± Sin said before she bolted off, Anarchy already hot on her heels. They tore through the city. Sin deliberately taking the back roads to avoid trouble from the citizens. Anarchy was keeping up with her, sprinting with predatory grace. Sin had to try harder to stay ahead of her infected companion, due to her increased stamina. Luckily Sin was a well trained vampire, able to easily achieve a safe distance, and maintain her speed. Once they reached the ten meter outer wall of Tesian, Sin ran up the side and grabbed the edge with one hand. Not hesitating, she secured her second hand and propelled herself up over the chalky stone. She had a quick glance back down the wall, and as she did so, Anarchy flew past her face and landed behind her. Sin didn¡¯t waste time. She lowered slightly then threw herself into a backflip. Anarchy took a swipe at her while she flew straight overhead and into the black abyss on the other side of the wall. Sin¡¯s silhouette landed in the undergrowth and did a backwards roll to maintain silence. She ran a few extra paces away then slipped her body out and laid straight on the ground. She then waited under some large ferns that dipped close to the earth. A dark shape slipped off the side of the outer barrier and landed without a sound. It stood and slowly turned its head to each side. Sin silently admired the gracefulness of her companion, but also felt an eerie chill rippled under her black leather jacket. It bent forward then slammed its hands on the ground, arching its knees to almost touch the dark soil. Sin could see the white of its teeth as its mouth shaped into a snarl. The deep growl echoing into the canopy of the rainforest above them. Sin¡¯s heart leapt into her throat as she watched her partner¡¯s elegant figure twist and morph. Gut wrenching cracks and crunches resonated through the night as bone, cartilage, muscle and sinew, contorted beneath her pale skin. A moment of silence sliced through the darkness. Every tree, fern and leaf had frozen, as the wind retreated. The small chirping insects had ceased their calls. Everything was still. Waiting. Her breathing stopped as the creature raised onto its hind legs. Every hair on her body suddenly stood on end. Her muscles tensed and her claws grew slightly, a defensive reaction, a warning, that danger is afoot. She had never seen this side of Anarchy before. Her beast state was never this much animal, it was usually just heightened senses and cat-like irises. Sin usually had the opportunity to calm her down before she morphed any further, but because of the extra two days that Arc didn¡¯t sleep, her transformation was rapidly sped up. Sin silently cursed herself as the creature slipped beneath the undergrowth. She almost wished she could stop her heart from beating as well, at the moment it was smashing against her ribcage. Which was not usual for her. She was considered one of the strongest warriors, some even said she could replace the Empress of Vampires. She was strong, cunning, agile and intelligent. But most of all, she was not afraid of a damn thing. So why was her heart beating like a sacrificial ceremony drum? A few leaves a distance away made the slightest of movements. She was still holding her breath as a plant, less than five meters away, shook faintly. Her eyes shifted a millimeter to that point exactly. Her stomach cartwheeled into her throat. Her body became deadly still. The creature¡¯s hot breath collided into the bridge of her nose and spread across her face. The shiver shot through her body like the crack of a whip. Her fangs grew a half a centimeter, but she didn¡¯t dare move an inch. I pushed my chair from my desk and stood up. Shaking my arms. Regaining blood flow. I looked up at the ceiling that was now illuminated by the amber light from my desk lamp. My legs were shaking. This part of the story scared me. I hated how I didn''t know what would happen next. My hands ached. I could write with both so switching between the two meant I could write for longer. Unfortunately that meant I didn''t eat or sleep for three days straight. I felt dizzy. After a long break and a good hot meal I sat back down. The book stared at me. Those three golden capital letters on the front... A deep growl thundered through her chest. She stood up, against all odds. The beast¡¯s nose twitched. Sinnera waited patiently, but the beast was equally as cunning. She had no choice but to answer the bloodthirsty animal within her. It was already waiting. Just under her golden exterior, and eating through the door to her better judgement. Her body twisted and transformed. Her bones cracked and creeked. Extending to create a creature, nature had neglected to create. Her jaw extended. Her limbs grew long with lean muscle. Her skin became grey, thick, and glossy. Her body was no longer vampire. Hybrid, it had become. She growled a deep growl. Rivaling that of her companion¡¯s. She stood a whole foot taller than the beast in front of her, but it still stood its ground. Intimidation. It was the key to this battle. Who was the queen? One could now see through Sinnera¡¯s beastly eyes, that the being before her was not like her own. Anarchy¡¯s body had thick black stripes all over it, and her skin was a dark shade of grey. She also had a tail, which flicked profusely back and forth. Both creatures were still, the chill of the evening air beginning to settle in their hot skin. The taller beast moved. Pinning the other on the ground in the swiftest of motions. Holding her there with a heavy right palm, and a set of huge claws. The muscles in its arm tensed. The smaller beast made a deep cry as it squirmed beneath the razor talons of its rival. The bigger beast let out a bone splitting roar, which to the untrained ear, sounded like a lion and a burning eagle. It echoed through the entire forest. Sending exotic birds, who were resting for the night, screeching in terror as they fled into the darkness. Even a few of the plants around them, shifted from the sound. I¡¯m sure that if they could, they would uproot themselves from their solitary state, and run like they¡¯ve never run before. Considering that they hadn¡¯t. The guards patrolling the wall, not a hundred meters from them, began to stir and frenzy. The larger beast did not hesitate, it retracted its claws from the other¡¯s chest, turned, and sprinted into the night on all fours. The other, Anarchy, filled with adrenaline, leaped onto its feet and shot off, eager to hunt down the bigger beast. Each animal ripped through the undergrowth at godlike speeds. Anarchy had caught easily caught up, as the other beast had slowed itself for her to do so. They were flying through the night when the smaller beast pounced onto the other, digging it''s claws into hot flesh. The two bodies crashed heavily to the ground and tumbled, clawing and biting at each other in the momentum. Blood spattered on the flora around them, leaving a nasty trail of battle in their wake. They crashed into a large tree, which most of Sinnera¡¯s back hit it first. The large trunk exploded into splinters and chunks, sending them flying. The echo of destruction sounded loudly into the cold air. Blood was all over the wood and ground beneath them. The larger beast groaned and grunted. The smaller one had already rolled to its feet. It''s left forearm was completely snapped, the bone could be seen sticking out from a mess of bloody flesh. It soon realigned itself and crunched back into place. The entire wound healed over in seconds. It stood. And growled. The gaping wounds on the bigger beast¡¯s back were only half healed when it decided to get up, sniff the air, then run for it. The other beast dashed off, with only one objective in mind. Kill. This time the larger one ran at top speed. Almost a blur in the dark of the night. The smaller beast was struggling to keep up. Drops of blood kept hitting its face as it watched the raw muscle of its prey shifted and tense in the slivers of moonlight that shot through the canopy. It was amazing that it could even run with that much of its back obliterated. They sprinted for miles before they reached the edge of Tesian¡¯s thick rainforests and burst into the wide open spaces of Quantia. Sinnera¡¯s pace slowed and came to a halt in the middle of a widespread field. Anarchy was about to pounce on her again, but she sensed something and came to a complete stop. Sniffing the cold air, hitching herself up on her hind legs. A howl came from the West, which was a little to the left in front of them. Both of their heads instantly fixated on that point. Each set of eyes illuminating their unique tones. This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.Another howl came from the North-West. Their eyes darted to that direction. Their keen eyesight allowed the both of them to see the small dark shapes, slipping over the top of the hills and down into the valley. Anarchy stepped forward, standing next to Sinnera¡¯s huge mass of agitated muscle. The smaller beast among them began growling. The other gave a defiant grunt, silencing its counterpart. Amber eyes were watching intently as the two packs hastily approached. The smaller beast shifted anxiously, fidgeting and breathing heavily. It was not nervous, it was just ready and overexcited to murder something. Whereas the other, taller beast, was calculating, standing still as a concrete pillar. It was not long before there were red eyes around them, and dark shapes slipping from beneath the grass. Forming a circle around the two creatures. They were Werewolves. The only things these vampiric beings detested with every inch of their deformed bodies. And they had every right to. Werewolves were the species that hunted down most of the Vampires. They dragged them away, possibly to be mercilessly tortured then murdered. They are a secretive race, who trust no one except each other. They also keep all of their endeavours to themselves, so not much is actually known about them. People have tried to learn more about them, but those guys just disappeared. There were about thirty in total. Which was a serious overkill for just two Vampires, but a bit of an understatement for these two in particular. They all stood in unison, their dark outlines looked freaky when in full stance. All that could be seen was their various muscular shapes, long claws, and their bushy tails moving side to side. Anarchy twitched at their united movement. The tallest and broadest of them all, spoke deeply in a language that was unknown to any scholar or Sorceren. Sinnera realised that they were orders almost immediately before the whole pack pounced at both of them. Anarchy went into a massacre frenzy while the larger of the two smashed a right hook into the wolf in front of it, tearing its bottom jaw off completely and taking half of its snout as well. A vicious snarl tore across her face as she began tearing through the animals before her. Anarchy had already mutilated several of them when one suddenly bit into her shoulder. She roared and used her own teeth to tear off its entire left arm. She then cleaved her entire arm straight through its heart and out the other side. Little dark slivers shimmered in the moonlight as blood flew everywhere. She dumped the body on the ground and went for the wolf to her right. Sinnera had pieces of bodies lying all around her. Barely a scratch. Even though she could heal from just about anything in this state, Vampires were susceptible to Werewolf attacks. Which dates back to who knows when, it has nothing to do with Werewolves having weird anti-vampire poison on their claws or anything like that. It is just the work of nature, an ancient rule. So if Sin and Arc got hurt, it would hurt. Some wolves backed away from her. Reluctant to have their lives ended from something which was clearly suicide. The brute that obviously stood as their pack leader, growled and shouted at them. Though they did not move. Sinnera was a steaming mass of strength and animalistic properties, with blood dripping from every edge of her skin. Patiently waiting in a circle of lacerated body parts. Anarchy was making her way through six or so others when the leader thundered into Sinnera¡¯s torso and knocked her to the ground. Sloshing into the remains of his companions, sending bodily fluids and bits of raw flesh flying in all directions. They tore at each other, Sinnera hacked into vital parts of his body, while he just slashed and bit at whatever he could get a grip on, which wasn¡¯t much. Sinnera was twisting her body and deflecting hits. They rolled and tumbled all over the place. It was like a cat and dog were having a fight. One was super flexible, and the other was just a strong, larger shape. He finally clubbed her left side, sending her flying and thudding to the ground in a heap of cracked bones, mangled flesh and uneven wheezing breath. The whole right side of her body had a huge portion of it missing. She lay curled up, barely able to breath. He raged over to her. Then brought down another claw onto her, which stopped in mid air. Her extended arm solidly held his. The wheezing had stopped. She had stopped breathing. He was completely mortified. The fact that she was even able to lift her arm, even as he watched the arteries spurt out blood, and the bones from her ribcage, cracked, missing or just exposed. This was another form of power. And as he stood, watching her mutilated body. He drew his last breath. Anarchy had finished her kills and watched as the other wolves sprinted off, petrified of what they had just witnessed. She saw the silhouette of the giant Werewolf, fall to the ground with a loud thud. And the shape of her companion, with his spine in her hand. Anarchy¡¯s beast state yielded and she returned to her normal form. Stumbling a little from the change, but still shocked of the sight before her. The tall beast released the backbone from her bloody claw. It slowly turned its head to Anarchy. That small motion sent shivers through her hot body. She then watched as the beast fell to the ground. Anarchy shot up and uneasily ran over to Sin, she nearly felt the urge to run on all fours. By the time she got there she had reverted back to her human state. The chunk out of her side was still heavily bleeding. She was barely able to breath. ¡°Sin. Hey I¡¯m back.¡± She said as she knelt down beside her partner. ¡°That might need a little ointment.¡± She recommended as a spurt of fresh blood came from her side. She poked one of the bones and Sin made a strange noise. Anarchy raised an eyebrow at her companion, who was clearly faking near death. ¡°I don¡¯t think pain is supposed to look so woeful.¡± Anarchy then lifted her wrist to Sin¡¯s mouth. Her fangs pierced the soft, pale flesh and she drank the scarlet liquid within. Anarchy watched as her wound rapidly healed and rejected bits of grass and dirt, before it returned to the same golden skin she was so familiar with. She watched her belly rise and fall as Sin took in deep breaths after releasing her wrist. Both girls had shredded clothes on, thankfully they covered Anarchy¡¯s body, but Sin was not so lucky. Her clothes simply fell off, after being three sizes too big. She threw them off and laid in the grass, still breathing heavily. The moonlight shone upon everything around them. Anarchy just watched her companion as she gripped the grass with her hands. ¡°Um...Sin¡?¡± Anarchy was concerned. Sin made some sort of grunting noise, shot up, knocked her over, then kissed her. ¡°Gods you drive me crazy.¡± She said through gritted teeth. Her expression then changed to one of pain, as she bowed her head. She sat up, with one hand in the middle of Anarchy¡¯s chest. Arc observed her, she looked hurt. Sin¡¯s eyes dashed up at the moon and Arc watched as crystal streams started at her amber eyes and slipped down her neck. Her heart leapt into her throat and her whole body tensed. She had never seen Sin cry before. Ever. In the centuries they had been together, she had never shed a tear. Not even when she had dust in her eyes, or when a knight stabbed her in the cheek with a dagger. After that Anarchy came to believe that Sin didn¡¯t have tear ducts. She propped herself up on her elbows. Sin¡¯s naked, bloody body moved with the motion. Her hand stayed in the middle of her chest. ¡°Sinnera.¡± The name escaped Anarchy¡¯s lips. Sin bowed her head again, and fresh tears slid off of her cheeks. ¡°It''s just...so freaking hard.¡± She said between sobs. ¡°What is?¡± Anarchy calmly asked as she moved up more, taking her elbows off the ground and wrapping her arms around her partner. Keeping her eyes on her, watching every little detail of her face as it moved. Admiring it. Even when Sin cried, she looked amazing. ¡°To...resist you.¡± She said with a sniff and a weep. It snapped into Arc¡¯s mind after a confused expression and a quick think. ¡°You get effected by my blood! Don¡¯t you?¡± Sin gave a slight nod and put her forehead to Anarchy¡¯s. ¡°I never told you.¡± She said quietly as her sobbing began to calm down. ¡°Because,¡± she hesitated, ¡°of certain reasons...¡± ¡°Oh, those reasons.¡± She said somewhat sadly. ¡°I wish they didn¡¯t exist.¡± Sin said. Anarchy¡¯s warm breath brushing against her lips. ¡°But they have to. They¡¯re the rules that govern us.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t follow rules.¡± ¡°Well they are my rules.¡± ¡°I''ll just go back to Hell and get you then.¡± Anarchy laughed a little. ¡°You know you can¡¯t go back there after what you did.¡± ¡°I swear that wasn¡¯t me, someone must have wrote that, why the heck did I think that killing the Devil was a good idea? That¡¯s just not like me.¡± ¡°I disagree. That is exactly the kind of thing you would do, considering that you already did.¡± Sin leaned away from Anarchy, then made a strange, contorted face. She then tightly embraced her. ¡°I really can¡¯t look at you right now.¡± She said over Arc¡¯s shoulder. ¡°Haha...all those times you drank my blood...I can¡¯t believe you didn¡¯t warn me at least.¡± ¡°I was caught up in the moment. And I didn¡¯t want you to give in. It would mean that I couldn¡¯t ever see you again.¡± Anarchy hugged her a little tighter and buried her face into Sin¡¯s perfectly crafted shoulder. ¡°I think that is a price I¡¯m willing to pay.¡± They stayed there for just a second in their long lived lives. That one moment, under the silver moonlight and the starry night, in each other¡¯s warm and bloody arms. That was as a moment neither would forget. No matter how many years passed. No matter how many worlds apart. Sin pulled away from Anarchy and help her there while she spoke. ¡°Well, even though I love you.¡± She coughed. ¡°Love your hugs...we should get going.¡± Anarchy had the slyest of smiles plastered across her face. ¡°You just said it.¡± ¡°No I did not.¡± Sin said as she got up. Anarchy did the same. ¡°You did too, don¡¯t lie.¡± ¡°I¡¯m not lying, that would be...bad...for...my lady like manner.¡± Anarchy wrapped her arm around Sin¡¯s waist. ¡°I thought you couldn¡¯t resist me?¡± She deviously said. Sin cringed, lingered a second then turned and walked away. ¡°It wore off.¡± She half yelled. Arc watched her companion waltz away, into the darkness...well she watched her lower half waltz away. The sly grin still on her lips.
