《Kueng Ning》 Book 1: Meridians. Chapter 1: Prologue A lone man stands on top of a mountain, looking over the horizon at the approaching army of humans, beasts, and demons. He laughed loudly, which even reach the armies¡¯ ears. Within seconds, the three armies had reach the foot of the mountain, all of them staring angrily at the man, who was slowly descending down. As the man touched the ground, he began to look towards the three armies. In a calm yet tone he said. ¡°This is a very rare sight to behold, the three races of the world, who hate each other¡¯s guts, are here side by side to kill me? I feel much honored¡± The three armies did not respond at what the man said, they continued to remain silent. ¡°I know why you have come here. However, you we¡¯re too late¡± Once the man said that, a large amount of beast carcass appeared in front of him, but that wasn¡¯t the only thing that appeared. The other two things, that appeared was five decapitated heads and a burnt golden book. Once the three armies saw the things that suddenly appeared, they immediately stared at the man with bloodshot eyes and they started to release their Qi. The man sensing that they we¡¯re trying to suffocate them with their Qi, he laughed loudly and shot up straight into the air and said. ¡°Let us bath this land with blood!¡± The man started circulate his Qi towards his palm, and a visible blackish-red Qi, started to be seen. Without a moment¡¯s thought, he immediately aimed it towards the army. A large black-red hand started to fall towards the three armies. They immediately ran away from the blood-red hand, however not all have escaped as some have been crushed into bloodied pieces of dust by the hand. Once the debris cleared up, only an endless pool of blood could be seen. Then, they heard laughter, the man was actually enjoying the sight of blood. The three armies¡¯ anger reached a whole new level, casually killing their kin, made them furious. The beasts howled loudly, the humans started to circulate their Qi to their weapons, the demons flew up in the air and started to circulate their MoQi. The three armies¡¯ commander looked at each other, and without saying anything a mutual alliance was formed. The first one to strike was the demons, the general with black hair and red eyes, with two ominous black wings, wielding a large spear. He rushed towards the man with his army of demons following close behind. From laughter to seriousness, the man looked at the approaching demon general, and suddenly three black swords appeared behind him. The demon general, raised his spear up enshrouded by MoQi and swung it towards the man. However, the three black swords began to move and block the spear from reaching the man. A clash between the two weapons. Black-Red Qi versus MoQi. The class of the two Qi¡¯s resulted in a shockwave, that made the demon general and other demons cough up large amount of blood. Before the man could will the swords to finish off the demon general, an azure dragon descended from the sky¡¯s and quickly whipped the man with its tail. However, the three black swords did not follow the man, instead it took upon itself to finish off the demon general and the rest of the demons off. As he kept falling, a large paw suddenly appeared before his eyes and struck him right to the ground with tremendous force, but even this only caused him to laugh louder. The white tiger immediately retreated, and now a red bird, flew into the air and started too descended down on the man. Once the red bird made impact, it immediately retreated and then a dark dome suddenly appeared and encased the man within the raging flames of the phoenix. The three swords quickly stopped massacring the demon army and started attacking the dark dome, but it was of no use. Everyone looked towards the dark dome to see the raging flames go out, and what remained was a man, with barely any flesh standing up and looking at the three armies happily. Once they saw this, they unconsciously took a step back, they felt a shiver run up their spine, as they never have faced an enemy that would laugh so happily in the face of death. ¡°Humans, quickly seal him!¡± the one who broke everyone out of a daze was a large green turtle with a black snake for a tail. The Humans, quickly surrounded the dark dome, and started to initiate the sealing formation, however at that time, the dome was slowly being broken by the man¡¯s numerous techniques. The three swords, quickly changed their target to the humans in charge of the formation, however they we¡¯re hindered by the beast general, demon general as well as the human general. The swords had no choice but to kill everyone if they wanted to save their master, but can they? In such as short amount of time. Slowly, golden chains started to sprout from the ground and constrict the man. But, the man only gave a cold laugh before destroying golden chain. Seeing that he could do no more, the turtle dispersed the dark dome, and revealed the man without any skin on his face, smiling at them. The three dark swords quickly hovered above the man. The three generals, as well as the four guardians of the world, looked at the man. Silence filled the air that was until the man released his black-red Qi, and made a gigantic pillar. When they saw this, they wanted to rush in and stop him, however a dark wall had been erected separating them and him. Everyone looked at the giant turtle, who had a fearful expression. This made have shock expression, for one of the guardians of the world to become fearful, made them silent and could only watch. As the black-red pillar started to disappear, the three black swords, circled around the man before shooting up into the sky¡¯s, disappearing with the pillar and in the sights of the army. The dark wall was now gone and they once again looked at the man, who was old, and was turning to dust. ¡°AHAHAHA! 2nd Generation Guardians, Human, Beast and Demon Cultivators! To actually work together and using your combined Qi to trap me! I congratulate you all. However, this battle seems to end rather anticlimactic, don¡¯t you think? Let this be a reminder to all of you! Million Sword Rain Fall!¡± After smiling one last time and turning to dust, they all looked up in the black red sky. Emerging from the clouds, we¡¯re a million black-red swords made from pure Qi. Slowly, the skies we¡¯re now filled completely with swords. Then, it came slamming down on them. The turtle erected another large dome to protect everyone, however it was futile as it was easily destroyed. As each individual sword fell, hundreds would die, either by being impaled by the sword itself or die from the powerful shockwave. The Million Sword Rain Fall lasted for a second, and in that time, the three armies we¡¯re destroyed. The survivors we¡¯re the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Red Bird, Green Turtle, Human General, Demon General, and Beast General. They we¡¯re all severely injured and bleeding profusely, but they lived, they lived through the attack of their fearsome enemy, and he was no more. Though, injured and we¡¯re naturally enemies, the three generals couldn¡¯t help but cheer into the skies together. After a while, they decided to return to their respective territories, however as they we¡¯re about to leave, a voice resounded in their heads, followed by an image. ¡°My death has already been set, no need to rejoice, as my descendant will follow after me soon. My reign is over, however he will be just starting. Are you interested in teaching him? Will you kill him? Use him? And this time, you humans, demons, beast as well as the four guardians will not be able to stop him. AHAHAHAHA¡± as the dead man¡¯s voice faded, a picture appeared in their head. It was a child, wrapped in cloth being held by a person wearing a black clothing. Once the vision faded, everyone face¡¯s stiffened, they we¡¯re unable to determine, where this person and child is. What they do know is that, they will have to get to the child first, as it will boost up their military once properly nurtured. However, in their hearts, they know that if they do not get to the child and allow him to grow, and they mistakenly offended him, then there will be no hope for their country. The three generals immediately used their remaining Qi, to get to their country as fast as possible to deliver the message, of good and bad news. The four guardians stayed, contemplating about the vision, for them it was very, very familiar. ¡°They will not be able to find the child, as long as she is at his side¡± the green turtle said. ¡°But, soon enough, even she will leave the child on his own¡± the red bird said. ¡°However, this is turning out to be truly interesting¡± the white tiger said. ¡°This time, we the 2nd generation will not intervene. We have to respect the wishes of the 1st generation¡± the azure dragon said, and the others nodded in agreement. After a while, they went to their respective territories, watching over the world, as it slowly changes. The man who killed the 1st generation guardians. The man who decapitated the royal family. The man who stole the number one cultivation technique from the Demon Lord. That man was now dead, everyone rejoiced, except for the leaders of the country. They we¡¯re too worried about the child, who could every bring glory or destruction to their country. From there on, they have decided that all children under ten would be tested, and immediately put in a sect. Book 1: Meridians. Chapter 1: Gravestone of a Traitor Here is chapter 1, hope you guys enjoy! As the sun was waking up, a small youth of ten years old, with normal looks, black hair and eyes, yet unusually has a strong, lean, muscular physique. The youth was currently scaling up a mountain, with two five hundred pound rocks tied to his wrists and ankles. He was sweating profusely, but he pushed on. After, he reached the top of the mountain, he removed the binding on his legs, tied his legs together, added the rocks and started to go down the mountain again. As, night came, he reached the bottom of the mountain, removed the rope around his ankles and hands, then entered a small crevice on the side of the mountain, hidden by foliage. As he went through the crevice, he arrived at a fairly large space with nothing much too see, except for a gravestone in the middle, a single table and chair to the side, and a magma pool at the other side. The child did not mind the heat, and continued to kneel in front of the gravestone. ¡°Mother, this child has successfully climb the mountain up and down fourteen times straight. That is all I have to report today, this child now, will take a bath¡± The child stood up removed his clothes and proceeded to jump in the magma pool, and sit in it cross-legged, while being completely submerged in the magma. Slowly, the pores in his body started to open and he started to absorb the essence of the magma. Surprisingly, though his face shows pain, the magma does melt his skin of or even damage him one bit. The heat coming from the magma pool, slowly dissipated, and was replaced by a very cool air. The youth opened his eyes, and came out of the magma pool. Steeping on the ground, it immediately melted, and he fell once more in the magma pool. Luckily, the magma stopped his fall, and was only gradually sinking. Instead, of getting out of the magma, he decided to stay and sleep in it. However, outside his dwelling, up in the skies we¡¯re multiple helicopters, with opened doors. Standing on the ledge of those doors we¡¯re multiple men and woman wearing red robes. But, in one of the helicopters was a middle-aged man having short black hair, red eyes, as well as a scruffy beard and wearing white robes. ¡°Everyone! A Demon has been trapped in this vicinity. It is our duty to eradicate this foul being. Now go and let the hunt begin!¡± the middle-aged man sent a mental message to each of the men and woman. Once they received the go signal from their superior, the men and woman jump down form the helicopter, dropped to the ground and immediately spread out. The one¡¯s left, we¡¯re the multiple helicopters that slowly descended down, as well as the middle-aged man, and a young girl beside him. The young girl was about twelve years old, having long black hair tied into a ponytail, red eyes, and a beautiful katana with a red scabbard, strapped to her back. She looked at the man with pleading eyes, and the man responded by looking at the distance of the forest. ¡°Father, please!¡± the girl pleaded. ¡°No, you are not ready to face a demon¡± the man said. ¡°I¡¯ll tell mom about that trip you had in Las Vegas!¡± the girl said with an evil smile. I need to tell you something¡­¡± the girl started to take out her phone and call her mom. ¡°Wait! Stop! Only if you stay in a 20 mile radius of this mountain¡± the man agreed reluctantly, as he does not want to incur the wrath of his wife. ¡°Mom, I got to go, I¡¯ll see you later. Thank you dad¡± the girl ended her call, hug her dad, before jumping off the helicopter landed on top of the mountain. She gracefully continued to go down the mountain, with relative ease. Once she reached the ground, she immediately started to walk around the mountain. As she walked around, the mountain, when she arrived at the other side, within her sights we¡¯re a multiple stones about five hundred pounds each with a rope, made from extremely long and strong vine and roots tied to it. Making her footstep lighter and slower, she slowly approached the rocks. As she individually inspected the rocks, she had discovered another person¡¯s foot prints. Thinking that it belonged to the Demon, she licked her lips in excitement and started to follow the foot prints. As she followed the foot prints, it lead her to thick foliage, before emerging in an isolated part of the mountain, where there is a crevice. Entering the crevice and going through it with ease, she arrived at fairly large place. What she saw was a tombstone in the middle, and an ordinary table and chair to the side. Seeing as there we¡¯re no signs of enemy, she approached the gravestone, and kneeled in front of it. ¡°I am sorry for intruding into your resting place¡­¡± a confused expression, immediately appeared on her face, as she took a closer look, the words on the gravestone we¡¯re Chinese. Not, knowing how to read the Chinese characters, only one thought appeared in her head. ¡°Please, excuse me¡± the girl took out her phone and took a picture. A few minutes later, a woman¡¯s voice at the other end of the phone could be heard. ¡°WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW!¡± the woman at the other end shouted in fear. ¡°Aunt May, don¡¯t shout. I¡¯m here with my father and other disciples in Hawaii to kill a demon¡± the girl replied calmly. ¡°This is not the time to be relax, Scarlett! Do you know whose grave you just stumbled upon?!¡± the woman¡¯s voice, got calmer with the increase of fear. ¡°A cultivator¡¯s? Right?¡± the girl answered, while gulping. ¡°Not just any cultivator¡¯s grave. However, the girl did not mind this, she started to shake in fear and unconsciously loosening the grip on her phone causing it to fall and break upon impact. The name Meng Li, was definitely not new to her. She recalled a certain history lesson in class, which perked her interest. It began with the war with the Beast and Demon¡¯s. In one point, humanity was on the losing point that was until a party of heroes appeared and slowly started to lead humanity and push back the Demons and Beast. One of these, heroes was a woman named Meng Li, with a whip at hand, and the flowers at her command. She led countless expeditions to eradicate the Demons and Beast. However, one day on the battlefield, she disappeared. This caused humanity to curse her as a traitor, deemed her unworthy as a hero and leader. In an instant all of her heroic deeds we¡¯re forgotten. No one truly knows why, she abandoned one of the most important fights of humanity. Due to her abandonment, humanity had lost a frontier base in the front lines, making the Demon¡¯s advancement much easier. However, that was not the most shocking and surprising fact. A few years later, people started to see a woman with black wings, by herself, killing and destroying bases of humanity. As well as even infiltrating, five of the most prestigious clan¡¯s, and absolutely destroying it, it mere seconds. Everyone, knew who this woman was, it wasn¡¯t hard to guess since not a lot of people use whips and flowers as weapons. Unconsciously, Scarlett took a few steps back, and gazed at the gravestone with fear. She slapped her face numerous times before regaining back her confidence. Slowly taking out her blade from scabbard, revealed a new polished, sharp, silver, single edge blade. Before, she could do anything with her blade, from the corner of her eye, she saw the ground started to crack and emit large amount of heat, which only lasted a second and disappeared afterwards. Stopping in her tracks, and her vigilance is now on full alert, her unblinking eyes never left the crack, as it grew bigger every second. A total of twenty seconds have passed, and a shock expression was shown on her face. A hand. A hand was seen coming out of the crack. Slowly, the upper body of a youth could be seen, followed up by the lower body getting out of the ground, with a bit of trouble. Scarlett, seeing the naked youth in front of her, screamed unintentionally while shielding her eyes. The youth, who just awoke from his sleep was staring at the girl, with a curious gaze. Before, the youth the girl screamed at him to get dress. ¡°I can¡¯t my clothes got destroyed¡± ¡°Then, wear this¡± a set of clean red robes appeared in the girl¡¯s hand and threw it to the youth. Which, the youth wore without restraint, due to his small stature, yet lean, muscular physique, the red robe fitted him well. Seeing as the youth, have already changed into the red robes. The girl started to question the boy, and of course, it all starts with an introduction. ¡°Little Brother, what¡¯s your name?¡± ¡°Kueng Ning. What¡¯s yours sister?¡± ¡°My name is Scarlett Phoenix. Little Brother, how can you speak English so well?¡± ¡°My mom taught me a lot of languages, since birth. She said I would need it in the future, if I decided to leave this place¡± ¡°Then, where is your mom? You do know this is a very dangerous place¡± ¡°I know sister, but don¡¯t worry I¡¯m strong enough to protect myself. My mom¡­died a year ago¡± as he said that, a tear drop to the ground and he started to wipe his eyes, so more tears won¡¯t fall. ¡°I¡¯m sorry. In an instant the blade was about to slash at Kueng Ning¡¯s neck, but was easily caught and broken by the child. Scarlett, was amazed at the fast reflexes and strength of the child in front of her, but she soon realized that it was only natural since he was raised by one of the traitors. Moving a few meters back and throwing away the scabbard and half-blade, she started to gather Qi and made it surround her. Now being surrounded in flames, Scarlett once again rushed at the child. Seeing as the girl was coming towards him, Kueng Ning was not sure at what to do since, this was his first battle against another person. The girl, now a few meters away from the boy, immediately took off into the sky. Kueng Ning looked at the girl in the sky and couldn¡¯t help but mutter the word phoenix. Looking down on the child with cold eyes, she descended down at high speeds. Once she impacted on the child, the ground was immediately set ablaze, and the boy was now screaming in pain while, being devoured by the girl¡¯s Phoenix Flames. Retreating a few steps back, the girl was now sweating heavily and blood was flowing down her mouth. After a while, the intensity of flames lessened and the girl saw Kueng Ning, laid down on the ground unconscious, with burnt skin. Grabbing her broken katana, she steadily approached the body of the boy, wanting to finish him off. However, before she could, the mountain as well as the ground started to shake violently. She wondered what was happening, until she heard a cold voice that made her body freeze in fear. ¡°Detestable humans! Leave this place at once!¡± a demon, having black hair, red eyes, a pair of ominous black wings and wearing black and gold clothing that made him look royalty. ¡°That¡¯s a funny thing to say demon!¡± the middle aged man said as he appeared a few meters in front of the demon. ¡°Human, since I am in a good mood, I¡¯ll leave you alive, if you leave an arm¡± ¡°Let us see about that!¡± the middle aged man was about to rush towards the demon, however immediately stopped, when large amounts of demons appeared, holding almost all of his Clan¡¯s disciples by the head. ¡°What would be your choice? You, humans are stupid, do you really think, we would wonder alone in your territory and allow our kind to be trapped and hunted like a beast!¡± The man, now in a predicament, forcefully ripped his right arm off and threw it to the ground, and produced a flame to stop the bleeding. As, he looked at each of the disciples faces, he looked at the royal demon and said, in a very clam yet angry tone. ¡°Demon, where is my daughter?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know what you¡¯re talking about human¡± When the demon said that, his anger exploded and rushed at the demon. In which the demon responded the same. As their fist collided, the demon had smile on his face, while the middle-aged man turned paled and started to cough up blood. The demon moved back to his original spot and said. ¡°I never thought the Phoenix Clan would be so weak. The 1st and 2nd generation guardians, will truly be saddened, as they even wasted their blood in helping you mortals¡± Wiping the blood from his mouth. As he was about to say something, a familiar voice resounded, getting the attention of both the demon and the middle-aged man. Book 1: Meridians. Chapter 3: Ring Chapter 3! hope you guys enjoy. As well as a heads up, Book 1 will probably end at the chapter 7 ~10. Basically, Book 1 is an introduction before the real training arc starts. Just wanted to let you guys know ::) ¡°Father! I found something important!¡± Scarlett shouted, as she heard the conversation between the demon and her father, and after getting out of the cave within the mountain. The middle-aged man did not reply and immediately disappeared from the air, and appeared right beside his daughter to check her condition. ¡°Scarlett, why did you use your Phoenix Arts? Your body has yet to adjust to the changes from the blood of the Phoenix¡± ¡°Dad, I¡¯m sorry but I need to tell you something¡± ¡°What is it?¡± ¡°Within this mountain, I found an entrance to the cave. Inside I found a grave and a child younger than me. The grave belonged to Meng Li, and the child is her son. Aunt May, would be here soon. We have to protect this place from the Demons¡± ¡°WHAT?! Why did you not tell me earlier?!¡± ¡°My cellphone broke, I¡¯m sorry¡± ¡°No worries, now I know why there are so much demons gathered here¡± ¡°Lead me to the entrance¡± The Demon naturally heard this, giving an order to the rest of the demons to drop the disciples. Then, all of them, disappeared in an instant. Scarlett guided her father, to the crevice and both of them arrived at the cave, and went deeper in. The entrance to the cave, suddenly collapse and they we¡¯re now surrounded by multiple demons. The royal demon approached them with a child in his arms, with burnt skin. The demon, had an angry expression and started to release hi MoQi that even his fellow demons couldn¡¯t help but step back. Being in this pressure, Scarlet went to her knees and peed herself with tears coming out of her eyes, while the middle-aged man was barely standing, trying to resist. ¡°Human girl, you dare harm my master?!¡± The pressure got heavier and resulted in Scarlett fainting. Before she her head hits the ground, her father caught her, but was immediately kicked by the royal demon, and slammed into the wall of the cave, leaving a large crack. ¡°Hear me! Kill all of their disciples and destroy their transportation then go back to our base¡± the demon commanded. In which the other demons happily obeyed, flying straight to the top, destroying the mountain top, making large amount of debris and rocks to cover the cave. The man was holding his stomach while, continuously coughing up blood. The royal demon took one last look at the man and the girl, then flew into the air disappearing from their sights. Seeing, the demon gone, the man approached his unconscious daughter, and surrounded them with dome made from flames, to protect them from the falling rocks. While, the other demons we¡¯re slaughtering the already injured disciples. The royal demon, continued to fly towards the Northeast. Night came and within the demon¡¯s sight was another island, where he landed at the shore. He laid the child down at the sand, and started to remove the remaining burnt clothing. Placing his hand on the child¡¯s chest, he started to channel his MoQi, into the child, which the child¡¯s body pores opened and started to greedily suck in the essence of MoQi. The royal demon, was starting to turn pale as the child kept getting the essence of his MoQi. After a while, the demon breathed a sigh of relief when the child stopped absorbing the essence, and his skin started to turn back to its original color of clear white, clean of any scars or wounds. However, though it had stopped absorbing his MoQi, it was still absorbing the Qi, coming from Earth, Heavens and Stars. This brought a smile on the Royal Demons face, however it turned one into seriousness, when he knows the dangers of absorbing too much different kinds of Qi. The demon took a black ring out from his pocket, and puts it in the right middle finger of the child. Standing up and gazing up in the sky, then looking at the child he said. ¡°Young master, I would have to leave you for a few weeks. I promise, when I return, I will fix your body, and you shall stand on top of the world¡± ¡°If not for that man¡¯s stupid mistake, you would not have to be in this predicament¡± ¡°Our plan for you to live a peaceful life, was destroyed, we have failed¡± ¡°Master, I hope during our separation, you will not fall for the humans false sayings¡± Without saying else, the royal demon took off into the sky, flying far away from the, the island, leaving the child sleeping at the shore. When morning came, the child woke up and started to search his surroundings. All he remembered was being attack by a girl named Scarlett for an unknown reason, and when he came too, he was here, naked, in the shore of an island. His attention was now on the black ring that mysteriously appeared on his right middle finger. He immediately knew what this ring was, it wan interspatial ring, but this ring was one very close to his heart, as this ring, was his mothers. It was buried deep within her grave, for the only time he would be allowed to retrieve it, according to his mother¡¯s wishes, is when we finally enters the Immortal Path. He did not know how he got to this island or how this ring got onto his finger, the only thing he does know that he will not be able to use the ring. This is because to use an interspatial ring, one would have to meet two main conditions. First would be binding, then injecting. Binding would be the easiest, since all one needs to do is drop their blood on the ring and it would be theirs alone, aside from them, no one can use the ring, of course, unless they died. Last, would be injecting, since the interspatial ring is made by Formation Masters and Void Cultivators, one would need the usage of Qi, to open an interspatial ring. Sadly for him, Qi is almost non-existent. Though he could absorb the essence of everything around him, without even the right cultivation technique. He has the essence, ever so growing largely inside him every day, however he cannot use that essence to turn it into his own Qi. Sighing in defeat, he stood up and directly went deeper within the forest, to build his new base and resume his training. However, as he stood up, his greedy body stopped absorbing the essence of the Earth, Heaven and Stars, and started to become dormant once again. Book 1: Meridians. Chapter 4: The Hunt Begins Enjoy :) Chapter 5 might be released, a week after today or so~ Back at now the destroyed mountain, where it is now half its original size, was surrounded by debris, boulders, dead bodies and fire. Once the helicopter landed, six people all wearing lab coats. The other five started to bring out and assemble the equipment¡¯s, while a woman of tall and slender physique, with bright red hair and eyes, started to approach the man. ¡°Care to tell me what happened in detail?¡± the woman said in a very demanding tone. ¡°Where to begin¡­.¡± the man did not mind the tone of the woman and began telling her want happened. From a simple demon hunt, it became a one-sided slaughter. ¡°Ai~ this is why I keep telling you not to force your breakthroughs! Living inside a mountain for so long, as well as the fun memories of living inside one, he was very reluctant to live in another dwelling. Lucky, on the other side of the island was a small opening of a cave going underground. Going inside the opening, after crawling for a few minutes, he landed in a similar space, like his last home. Seeing that is was perfect, he decided that this would be his base for the time being. Crawling out of his home, he started to stretch before starting his training regime. Going to the nearest shore, he started to walk around the whole island for two rounds before slowly increasing his speed. If anyone would see him now, they would be surprise at the speed he is running as constant as a sports car in full gear, with the difference of he is keeping the speed consistently. After a few hours, Kueng Ning stopped running and sat in a meditative position, on the shore when he first arrived at the island. He was lost in thought as he gazed over endless sea. However, that all changed when a large dark cloud was approaching him at high speeds. He looked towards the dark cloud with despair and fear, as for some reason, he knows that coming in contact with that cloud would bring nothing but pain. But, his body wouldn¡¯t respond, as if a powerful force was making him stay and confront the cloud. In a few minutes, the cloud had completely engulfed him. At first the child was not scared, but his expression suddenly changed, when his pores was being forcibly open, and his body being made to absorb the dark cloud. Slowly, the dark cloud entered his body via his forcefully opened pores. This process for him was incredibly painful and excruciating, as though he could feel the dark cloud was made from Qi, it was Qi he had never absorbed the essence off, and now all of a sudden it was forcefully integrating itself to his body. He screamed in pain. Hugged his body as he fell down, in despair he tried to rip his own skin open, wanting to reject the dark cloud, but his body wanted to completely devour the dark cloud. But, his body wasn¡¯t only devouring the dark cloud, it was also devouring the essences of everything around him, to the water near him, all up the way up to the sun¡¯s rays. Getting up slowly, his eyes we¡¯re bloodshot with blood flowing out from his eyes, mouth, ears, in short blood is coming out of his whole being. However, the blood was not red, instead black with a bad pungent smell accompanying it. Kueng Ning, fought through the pain and started to slowly walk back to his newly found home, however along the way, the once beautiful forest started to get ruined, and the island was starting to look like a massive battlefield of two very powerful cultivators. Every time his right foot moves, the land began to crack and melt as hot molten lava comes out, and every time his left foot moves, the land began to freeze and snow began to drop from the sky. However, that was not all, trees and plants began to wither, yet at the same time bloom, as if being reborn from death. The land was now bare, without anything growing on it, the only possible living thing you would be able to find is the child, laid face down on the ground sleeping. Mysteriously, around the child, there was nothing, as if the blood, snow, and molten lava, didn¡¯t even exist in the first place. He slowly opened his eyes and started to examine his surrounding, and saw around him was no longer a forest, but a barren dessert, without the sand, but soil. At the same time he woke up, he could hear weird sounds coming from above him. It was his first time seeing such a strange creature. The only thing he could make out of it, was at the side of this strange creature was a painting of a Phoenix. As soon as he saw the Phoenix painting, voices started to resonate within his head. ¡°The Phoenix Clan shall die¡± ¡°The Dragon Clan shall die¡± ¡°The Turtle Clan shall die¡± ¡°The Tiger Clan shall die¡± ¡°All Beasts shall die¡± ¡°Death to the Phoenix Clan¡± ¡°Death to the Dragon Clan¡± ¡°Death to the Turtle Clan¡± ¡°Death to the Tiger Clan¡± ¡°Death to Humanity¡± ¡°Death to the Beasts¡± ¡°Pave the Way for Demons!¡± Like a chant, it kept repeating in his head until he completely became entrance by it. May, was on the verge on collapsing, she tried to gather her Qi, but to her surprise, she found that her Qi was completely gone, as if something forcefully got it from her body. As the child was planning to snap her neck, a hand suddenly grabbed his and threw him ten meters away from them. The woman feeling the pressure disappear began to cough and touch her neck. She looked up to see a demon with black hair and red eyes, with a handsome yet delicate face. This was the Royal Demon. ¡°You, Phoenix woman, when I hold my young master down, insert this into his sixty-four meridian points¡± the royal demon said, as he threw a small bag in front of the woman. May grabbed the bag and looked into its contents and saw thirty-one white balls, thirty-one black balls, and two golden balls, all about the size of marbles. ¡°What is this, in all my years of studying and creating medicine, I haven¡¯t seen anything like this¡± ¡°I will tell you, if we successfully save my master. However, it wasn¡¯t as easy as it would seem, as she got closer the pressure also increases, even she had a hard time of breathing. Because of this, it took over half an hour to complete the job. After she had placed the last golden ball on his forehead, she immediately felt being lifted and now looking down on the chained covered child. ¡°What are you doing¡± she said with a blushed face. ¡°Saving you from death¡± the royal demon answered. ¡°Death? Being trapped, constricted, and locked upped in this chain formation, he had no choice but to endure. His body was now glowing of white, black and gold. Though it might not be seen from the outside, from the inside it was all too visible for the child. The lights we¡¯re altering between getting brighter or dimmer, like a pattern, it continued for a while before a *pop* sound was heard. From inside his body, we¡¯re countless sealing formation strapped to his vein, vessels, bones, everything inside his body, under his flesh, was covered in formations. However, once these black, white, and golden medicinal balls made contact with these formations, a fight began. It was fight between the sixty four powerful formations against the equaled numbered of powerful medicinal balls. The fight was fierce, as each formation and medicinal wanted to win, to achieve what they are made for. Then, the first win happened, the golden ball on his chest defeat the formation and was finally able to integrate itself into the child¡¯s body. This is the main reason for his pain, though the fight between the formation and medicinal ball was painful, the pain of integration was excruciating. After the golden ball on his chest finished integrating itself to the child, the other medicinal balls followed soon after, and won their own battles against the formation. That was when, the years and years of saved up, stored essence of the world started to become truly his. One by one, the essence that he has absorbed started to flow through his veins, though strangely enough, he does not have a martial dantian, the essence that was slowly turning into his Qi, was assimilating itself to him, not as a separate entity, but as one. Slowly, all the pain started to disappear and wonderful feeling replaced it. The child was wondering why it felt so familiar, like something that was lost was now returned to him. However, he wasn¡¯t the only one awakened, two unidentifiable beasts, locked up in formation, was slowly waking up, for the formation holding and suppressing them was now gone. Once the beast we¡¯re free from the formation, there mouths curved into a smile, and for a long time, released a roar that would let everyone know of their presence. Once they roared, the chains restricting the child, disappeared. The child was still standing there with closed eyes, with the essence of the world surrounding him. Opening his eyes, that revealed heterochromia eyes, with black on the left and red on the right. These eyes contain boundless knowledge and slaughter, eyes that have seen construction and destruction throughout the ages. Kueng Ning, lifted his hand over his chest and small amount of essence that he has gathered over the years, started to revolve around him. Slowly, the red, blue, gold, green, black and white essence started to surround the child and implant themselves to the ground. Book 2 Journey to London. Chapter 4: Coffin Lets GO! Kueng Ning, was currently sitting in a meditative position on top of his bed, concentrating on his mortal dantian. Once his mother told him to examine his body, he immediately went to a meditative trance, and was concentrating like no other. A few hours already passed and he was still in a meditative position. Usually, to examine one¡¯s body wouldn¡¯t take so long. The reason for him taking so long, was for two very interesting reasons. One, is that he was being very meticulous about, checking his mortal dantian, veins, blood vessels, meridians, organs, in short, he was truly examining his entire body, making sure it was in top condition. However, that was not the reason he was taking, it was because he was fascinated about his mortal dantian. In his sights was a golden ball, about the size of stress ball, and surrounding that golden ball, we¡¯re smaller balls that have the color of red, blue, gold, green, black and white balls. He knew that the big golden ball was his mortal dantian, however he did not know what the smaller balls are. At first he wanted to tell his mom about the things he saw and that his body is in top condition, but curiosity got the better of him, and took it upon himself to see what those small golden balls are. When he tried making his Qi touch the small colored balls, it only gave off a small light, before releasing a powerful barrier around itself, making the Qi, unable to touch it. This shocked the child, but it mostly made him excited. Since, he could not examine the small colored balls, he turned his attention to his mortal dantian with the intention of starting the process of shedding. Gathering his Qi once more, he made it cover his mortal dantian, and slowly started to shed the outer layer of his dantian. Once the process started it cannot be stopped or interrupted, there will be only once chance for a person to shed their mortality. Knowing these risk fully well, he was fully concentrated on trying to enter the shedding realm. Slowly, his mortal dantian started get smaller and brighter as more of the layer¡¯s got shed. However, since he was concentrated on his dantian, he did not notice that the smaller balls started rotating around his dantian as well as getting smaller and brighter. After a while, the shedding has stopped and he looked towards his new dantian and was surprised at what he saw. His dantian was now the size of a pebble, but was glowing brighter than any sun or star, and the smaller balls before we¡¯re now gone. Gone was not the word to describe it best, the smaller balls or now little stars with the same size as his dantian, was revolving slowly, and was equally bright with their respective colors. The star color white and red was going left to right, the star color black and blue was going right to left, the star color gold was above the dantian, and the star color green was below the dantian. Seeing all of these, Kueng Ning was dumfounded. As far as he knows, no person, would have little stars within their body. He started to question it, what are those stars? Why are they inside his body? And why the hell can¡¯t he touch it? These are the thoughts running in his mind. Though, something inside him tells him that, further agitating this stars could lead to severe consequences, and listening to that feeling, he immediately got out of his meditative state and started to look for his mother, to tell her the good news. Next, was the Lost Phoenix Arts: Soaring Blaze, a movement art that requires large amount of Pure Phoenix Sun Qi, this would allow the cultivator to turn their Qi into an exact mirror image of the wings of a Phoenix.
