《Broken One's New Life》 Broken Ones New Life Chapter 1: Spear Deer Standing shouldn¡¯t be this difficult, especially when you have four legs but it is. Well I guess that can be expected when you consider the fact that I was just born. How this is possible is something of an odd story that started when my parents died. They were never around much but they did provide for me anything I wanted so I was never discontent. But when I turned twelve they suddenly fell to the floor and died, weird right. I thought so too and so did the police. After endless questioning I was moved to an orphanage where the supervisors were rather bad. Not in the abusive or neglectful way, no this was more of an incompetent bad. Simply speaking they were nice people but their managing skills left something to be desired. But at the age of fourteen is when I had my biggest life changing experience, well excluding the whole being reborn thing. That year a crazed gunner took several children, including me, hostage to make an escape from some crime. To this day I don¡¯t know what crime he committed but it was either really serious or every cop in town has too much free time on their hands because they were all there. Well to summarize the event we were taken hostage, I was tied up loosely, after getting out I got my hands on a gun, and finally I killed the gunner. Because I didn¡¯t seem particularly emotionally scarred I was sent to multiple psychiatrist, their evaluation was that I had multiple mental disorders. They might have very well been right considering the fact that I took my parents¡¯ death well enough that it was almost to the point of apathy. This was a good word to dis tribe my personality apathetic, basically it means I don¡¯t care about anything or react in big ways to situations. Well regardless because of those evaluations I was sent to a newly built ¡°Help facility for the young¡± in short a loony bin. And that''s what killed me at the age of twenty, well not being there or getting sent there but the drugs they use to help you there. In short I was overdosed and died due to the mistake of a new nurse and me being so gone mentally that I didn¡¯t know any better. and after I died that¡¯s when I met her the high angle. _________________ Waking up I was lost as to where I could, the only thing around is an empty white void. ¡°Well this is a new one must have been a new drug¡­ But it¡¯s been awhile since my head¡¯s been this clear. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts.¡± Laying down and thinking about my life would be boring so what else can I do here. ¡°Well you could speak with me and stop thinking that you''re still in that awful place.¡± Looking to where the voice came from the only thing I can think of saying is that she has good prospects for the future, maybe. ¡°What do you mean maybe! I''ll have you know that this body of mine is divine and mad by the higher gods.¡± Pouting the blond haired plain looking fourteen isn year old girl was cute. ¡°Hmph well whatever I''m not here to explain my greatness today. I''m here because you died but before you died your life was ruined because of a stray angel.¡± Me dieing isn¡¯t anything to be surprised about but this seems to be weird considering that my life turned sour mainly due to my apathy. ¡°Well you¡¯re not wrong there but your parent¡¯s were killed by an angel gone rogue so that¡¯s our fault. We already compensated your parents and thought that that would be the end of it. And then we noticed you, actually you were hit too just not killed and it affected your psyche making you uncaring¡­ Sorry we didn¡¯t fix you before.¡± The figure of the deeply bowing girl was nice, hmm I might be a sadistic person but this much isn¡¯t enough to tell. If this isn¡¯t a hallucination brought on by new drugs then that means I''m going to be compensated somehow. ¡°Right you''re a quick study as a high angel and the angel in charge of the rogue angel I have been given the right to compensate you in any way.¡± ¡°Please stop answering to my thoughts even if their not private if we can pretend they are. so how does this compensation work?¡± ¡°Sure. Let''s see you are going to be reborn into another world or your previous one chose whatever but you only get certain choices such as world, gender, 2 abilities, and one special allowance that you get to ask of me. Most people who get this chance chose to go to heaven and be angels. Well in the end it¡¯s your choice.¡± Having finished her explanation that could probably be lengthened with more details she took out a tablet of some sort with various decisions that could be made.

Seems I have to fill in the chart for now let''s ask about what kind of worlds I can go to, just going to heaven would be boring. ¡°Miss Beautiful Perfect Angel would you mind telling me what kind of worlds I can go to I want to have some fun in my new life perfect peace isn¡¯t what I want right now.¡± ¡°Seeing as you know how to address me I will tell you if you want to have fun there are worlds that work solely on games and challenges, there are worlds where the economy runs on card games and how good you are, you could try a fantasy world with swords and magic but those can get hard, or another choice is where the world itself has a game like system governing it. As for the other columns you can chose whatever you want write in anything you can think of. Actually you can do that for the first one too there are practically an infinite number of worlds so I''ll find the one that best matches what you want.¡± So I can basically write whatever I want? That¡¯s helpful, well I know what I''m going to do. For world let''s go with swords and magic that run on a game like system, that way although leveling up might be hard it won¡¯t be impossible to have fun whenever I want. For gender I''ll continue being male, simply put changing that would be uncomfortable. Special skills will be a bit harder but I guess I''m going with teleportation and telekinesis. Those seem like the best skills I can have one for everything and the other for escape. Hmm, request, request well since it¡¯s a game like world an information window to help me would be nice sort of like a google that works in that world with that world¡¯s info. Having finished thinking what I wanted I quickly typed it and handed the tablet back to the Angel. This novel is published on a different platform. So apparently I should have mentioned that I wanted to be born as a human. I seem to be some kind of deer the ones around me are fairly big and their antlers are really threatening. Not knowing what to do I did what most deer do I stood and waddled towards my mother. Being able to walk is nice and thankfully I come fully equipped with good instincts. Thinking further I should have some type of help system. Hmm help activate, Google activate, other world Google activate? Nothing seemed to happen, how am I supposed to get the assistance I need? Last try I guess before trying to confirm System Help?

Blessing of the High Angel: You have been looked favorably upon by the great High Angel who only serves the gods and have been born a variant. As a Variant you have been given more skills than others of your race and will do much better than your peers.
So apparently I¡¯m a variant because of the other skills I have. I should have asked to be born into a noble household but the help menu works just as well. Next I should activate the quick help that might be able to give me a head start in terms of knowledge pertaining to where I am. Enable Quick help.

Well it seems the help will need me to find books or something to feed it and give it more knowlege but for now general information is fine. ________________ After a week I''ve figured out a couple of things from asking the quick help and observing on my own. First a spear deer has a very short childhood it¡¯s only been a week and I can already do so much, like running, and bashing my head at other newborn spear deer. They don¡¯t seem to care for keeping the brain safe during infancy. Another thing was the status menu. It seems I have no name and that named monster are always stronger than none named ones. For example the deer I believe is or leader is at least one size bigger than the rest of the adult deers. The F- on all my stats is also something important, instead of levels and allocating stat points into a character this world uses a grading system. F- seems to be the lowest while it steadily goes to S+. Being a newborn my stats are obviously low when I am fully grown at the age of one, yes it takes one year for a spear deer to be considered an adult, my stats should end up being somewhere in the D+ range. This isn¡¯t actually that bad because there seems to be a sort of adventurer¡¯s profession in this world and the common ranks are around D rank while an elite is C+ to B rank, anything higher is considered abnormal or just monstrous. That means that it will only take me one year to go above the common rank. In terms of the specialty of the spear deer it seems to be a fairly straightforward charge. I''ve read some monster reincarnation novels where the main character starts off as a slime or a goblin maybe even something like a dragon and that¡¯s exciting but I''m not really looking to play this on super difficult mode. It would have been nice to be a dragon though. So a spear deer is fairly good, and I''m quite thankful to the angel for giving me the humanoid transformation ability, I haven¡¯t tied it yet but I''m assuming with that I can get into a human town and start a new life there after I reach an overall D+ rank. And my family won¡¯t mind as they seem to kick out all but the strongest and those of the main family. I''m fairly average and seem to be the son of a deer that came from another herd. This is evident by the fact that I have a black coat while the rest have a brown coat with the occasional white. So after a year I''m most likely going to be kicked out, and that¡¯s when I''ll make my way to a human village and become an adventurer. Broken Ones New Life Chapter 2: Skils Chapter 2: skills So despite a year sounding like a short amount of time, which it is, it¡¯s still a year that I have to be with this herd. So I have to do all I can to become a valiant stag. Or I might not grow to meet the average status of a spear deer. I''ve noticed that the young stags, a stag is a male deer; I like the way it sounds, ram into each other and more or less play around. my stats haven''t improved much but that¡¯s to be expected as I''ve only been alive for two weeks. My highest stat is magic attack so that''s something I should work on anything else seems to be something I can do on my spare time. Magic attack seems to be not only my offensive capabilities but my overall capability in magic, sadly I can''t do much. And my longing for teleporting around unobstructed and moving mountains with my mind was stopped short. I have a skill called object movement which would probably be telekinesis I asked for but I have no idea how to use it, well I''m in that situation for any of the skills. I thought to ask the the quick help but I wanted to try and figure it out naturally. This was not a decision based on logic or anything like that I was just curios as to how good this body¡¯s instincts were. Sadly so far I haven''t had any luck and that means I''m most likely not a genius with unparalleled might in this world. Well so much for easy mode, at least I wasn¡¯t dropped into hard mode or legendary mode by having to start off as something like a goblin or a caterpillar. Skills are an auto correction applied by the system that governs the world. As a skill level rises the auto correction applied by the system will increase. Skills are divided into two categories one being passive skills and the second being active skills. Passive skills constantly correct the user while active skills must be activated by the user in order for them to work.

Well that¡¯s kind of surprising I thought that reinforcement would be passive and rush would be active but it was the other way around. So basicly when I rush at someone or something then the system will correct my rush by a slight margin. So it seems that I can ignore the passive skills for now as I don¡¯t have to figure out how to use them. Now onto the fun part active skills. The one¡¯s I have are humanoid transformation, minor teleportation, object movement, and reinforcement. The first one is a no go, I''m not sure how spear dear react to humans but I''m going to guess its unfavorably so I''ll hold off on that for now. Next is minor teleportation, this is something that I''m most definitely going to work on. After all teleportation even minor could potentially save my life. So the next thing to do is figure out how to use these skills. As I don¡¯t feel that my instincts are good enough to figure this out on my own let''s ask my good friend. ¡®Quick help how do I use active skills?¡¯

To activate an active skill one must perform the action that has been predetermined by the system. Example: to activate charge one must run head first into something/someone. If done correctly a small amount of mana will be drained to compensate for the extra strength given by the system.
So it seems that even if it¡¯s called an active skill I can''t just say charge and have the system take over my body and do it for me. Well that¡¯s fine this is real life and not a video game so even a game like world has limits on how much system correction can be given. But that means that the other three are likely spells of some kind or follow a specific process in which to active them. after probing the quick help for a while I''ve come to a satisfactory answer. Because a spear dear is considered a monster I have to use magic in the way monsters do. Namely my using the mana in the air to create a rune or multiple Rune''s to create an array, then that rune or array is ¡°branded¡± onto the body to be used as a medium when activating at a later time. It seems that a human will either create the rune or array every time he or she casts a spell or record them onto a wand. They can¡¯t directly use their own bodies as a medium. Reinforcement and object movement are fairly easy runes to do. Reinforcement for spear deers is just an outline of some scary looking antlers and I plan to place it on my head. I don¡¯t know if it will help but when I bash things with my head I would like it to be reinforced. Object movement is even easier as it is just a square inside a circle. This one I plan to put in my left eye if it¡¯s not a painful process, reason being that it would look awesome and anything within my sight would be under my control, hopefully. On my right eye I plan to use minor teleportation and any growth it might have, hopefully it upgrades to regular teleportation then maybe something greater. This is also something I found out after asking about the magic arrays band Rune''s but normally you obtain the skill after creating the rune¡¯s in your head the first time and the following times it¡¯s much easier, hence the system correction. The author''s content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. That means that completing the rune¡¯s for me will be much easier the first time around because I was born with the skill. Unfortunately skills such as humanoid transformation and minor teleportation are incredibly difficult to gain because the arrays necessary are very complicated and must be ¡°branded¡±, which actually makes it sound painful but if all is well it isn¡¯t. First thing¡¯s first though I will try body reinforcement for the spear deer and move on from there. To start I need to move the mana in my body and use my mind to begin drawing the rune. It was done easy enough because I had the help menu but I''m not sure how the rest of my herd does it. Although I can¡¯t see it under the fur on my head should be a fairly elaborate design of a pair of very sharp antlers. The process was almost painless, I say almost because it left me with a headache and dizziness for the next couple of hours. I''m going to assume that this is because of lack of mana. I should test the limits of my mana and abilities once they are all ¡°branded¡±, I''m going to start calling this grafted. Something about it being a brand bothers me so until someone gives me a good reason as to why it¡¯s called branded I will be using grafted. When I finished the grafting of the mana array a small light enveloped my antlers for a brief moment and I was looked at weirdly by some of the adult spear deer, but after a couple of hours they went back to doing whatever they were doing before. Next I''ll do object movement because it¡¯s the easiest one, the only reason I didn¡¯t do this one first is because I want this one in my eye and if it was a painful process then things could have gotten complicated. It only took about a minute to construct and place the rune but it left me feeling tired so I''m going to sleep for the day although the sun is still up it can¡¯t hurt to sleep a little early. Waking up in the middle of the night isn¡¯t fun, maybe I''ll refrain from tiring myself out early. well regardless this gives me a chance to tackle the second most complicated rune array without being disturbed by any of the other new born calves, I think that''s what you call a newborn deer. You¡¯d be surprised at how many of them just go around looking for a fight with anyone. The silver lining is that they have yet to grow their horns so not much damage is done. once to see if rush worked I went full power against one of the other young stags and ended up quite dizzy so I can only imagine how it¡¯s going to be when our antlers grow. Anyway getting back on track grafting the minor teleportation rune will be my next objective. ¡®Quick help minor teleportation rune array.¡¯ Normally I just ark the quick help for some questions but because I don¡¯t know what it looks like and going off of the vague feeling in my head that tells me it¡¯s comprised of a dozen circles and a couple dozen letters isn¡¯t enough for something I plan to use as my greatest escape method. After four hours the sun was already starting to come out and I still haven¡¯t finished. The vague feeling was indeed not enough. Instead of just some circles and letters it¡¯s comprised of circles, squares, and triangles in complicated locations plus tons of letters I''ve never seen before. If not for the system correction that allows be to clearly visualize and create the rune I would have found it impossible to do. Luckily I finished just in time to eat breakfast and by that I mean milk from the deer I believe is my mother. My teeth are growing so in a little while I should be eating grass with the rest of the herd. Although I''ve seen some of the one¡¯s in the outer region kill and eat some goblin looking creatures. That means that I should be an omnivore. After my quick breakfast continued onto the last of my skills humanoid transformation. This skill is different from the other three as it is two parts and needs two very complicated rune arrays working together. One rune array will work towards turning me into a human and the second one will allow me to return into my spear deer form. For this I have already looked at the first rune array enough and know how it¡¯s formed. The only issue is where I''ll put it considering the shear surface area required, it¡¯s not like the minor teleportation which I downsized to fit into my eye. For now I guess I''ll take the easy way out. ¡®Quick help what¡¯s the best location for the humanoid transformation array and the return array?¡¯

For the transformation array it is recommended that user does the branding on his skeletal system. Placing of the return array is best left to the user¡¯s preference because of the size needed the back is a recommended area but it can be minimized to a certain degree.
This is likely to take a long amount of time considering it is comprised of two rune arrays more complicated than the minor teleportation array. The skeletal system is. Actually a good choice because it¡¯s mostly just a large amount of runes in a variety of sizes so this should work out fine. For now I''ll continue asking the quick help some questions then use rush as much as I can on other young stags until I''m tired. So I have to stop writing this one so I''ve decided to stop writing this one because I can''t think of any way to continue it. I''ve tried to think of various ways and plots but have nothing aside from some very boring things and I still haven''t figured out a good way to write in first person. Once I do I might continue this one or start another one because I do want to write a first person point of view but for now it''s not happening. Thank you for those who read my short two chapters.
