Once I started living here, I forced myself to only read 2000s materials and from there, slowly made my way to the 2040s materials. Ah, how art has improved, how animations have improve, but it¡¯s sad that I can never see it improve even more. This year was a blast, every material was about fantasy life, and it is the genre I enjoy the most. If I die, can I get reincarnated to a fantasy world? Or better, can I get summoned as a hero? No, that would be bad, I¡¯m too old to be one. I¡¯m probably around fifty seven or fifty eight right now and I can say proudly, I¡¯m an otaku since birth. I stood up with my now malnourished body, and walked to the only door leading outside. I¡¯ll die, I¡¯ll die without finishing this last fiction, but I do not want that. On the last attempt, I blasted the door away, creating a hole leading to the outside world. I climbed, I climbed with all that I have and once I reached the ground, I was surprised with what I saw. It was the complete replica of an apocalypse manga I¡¯ve read. But that did not matter, since after looking a bit more, I saw two corpses near and it was still fresh, no, actually it¡¯s still alive. I¡¯ve been eating raw food for a long time now, so eating them wouldn¡¯t be so hard. It¡¯s disgusting, but I have to. To fulfill my role as an otaku and read the last fiction. I moved closer and saw that they could no longer move, to end their pain, to ease my hunger, and to stay true to my otaku way, I killed them and dragged them to my base. I ate the two, and used their life to prolong mine, but it was a mistake. I shouldn¡¯t have done it. ¡°WHAT¡¯S THE POINT OF LIVING LONGER IF THE FICTION I WAS READING GOT AXED?¡± As I screamed, power flowed throughout my body. I unconsciously flew to the sky and destroyed everything in sight. ¡°WHY? WHY? THEY WERE SO FUCKING GOOD TOGETHER SO WHY?¡±WHY DID MY FUCKING SHIP SUNK?¡± I continued to do that, until the world itself started to fall apart. The gravity keeping the world in one piece vanished, different chemicals and minerals that I haven¡¯t seen before spread around the sky, and life that I haven''t seen before reflected unto my eyes. As the world crumbled, I uttered. ¡°So this is how everything ends?¡± I closed my eyes and released a sigh. ¡°I hate axed endings.¡± And then, a light appeared from the sky and teleported me to another place. Chapter 1: Six paths of Otakuism As I awoke, I found myself in an empty room. The room was quiet, letting me hear wind movements as I darted around. Everything was completely white, and curious as I am, I moved my hands to the walls, feeling its smooth and mildly cold surface. I went around touching the wall, trying to find the exit, slightly getting addicted to the smooth feeling on my hands. Moving around I noticed that my body was different, I wore the same clothes, dirtied by my previous actions, but my malnourished, wrinkled skin turned smooth and had a pinkish glow. I touched around my body, feeling the now, smooth skin I have and getting surprised by the sudden increase in muscles. I leaned forward and examined my hair, which now had two colors, black and white. It wasn¡¯t uniformly colored, the two different colors were randomly scattered on my head, making it look like my black hair glowed white. ¡°Ehe¡±[Girl] Hearing the voice, I looked around, seeing a young girl clad in white robe grinning as she stared at me. Looking closer, she was gazing lustfully and there was drool coming from her lips. ¡°Ehehe¡±[Girl] Slits of her purple hair could be seen from her hood, her white skin showed, so pale that it looked like a part of her robe. From underneath the hood, her eyes glowed crimson red. She was cute, she has a bright future, but now, I¡¯m not into her. I have nothing against lolis, but I dig busty onee-sans. ¡°I apologize for summoning one of great standing such as you.¡± She said as she wiped her drool with the back of her hand. ¡°I am one of the three Goddesses , Azaleina , may I ask the name of one such as you?¡± She said while elegantly bowing. Goddess? She¡¯s a goddess? Then, is this like those fictions I¡¯ve read where a God or Goddess talks to me before transferring me to their world? ¡°It¡¯s Yuu, Yuu Kobayashi.¡± She held her body as she shook wildly and squealed. ¡°Haa...haa...haa...even your voice is cute...haa¡± The way she¡¯s acting, don¡¯t tell me she- Seeing me furrow my brows, she stopped all unnecessary movements and stood straight. ¡°I apologize for my behavior lord Yuu.¡± She¡¯s calling me lord? Isn¡¯t she a Goddess? And she also mentioned me being someone of great standing. Further furrowing my brows from confusion, the Goddess mistook it for me getting madder. She slammed her forehead to the ground and knelt. ¡°I deeply apologize for my actions, please don¡¯t kill me.¡± Seeing her take such drastic actions, I walked closer with my arms extended and with my face having a worried look. ¡°Wait, a-are you ok?¡± As I got closer, I knelt, sliding through the smooth floor with my knees and grabbing her shoulders. She got surprised by my sudden action. ¡°Kya-¡° but the moment she saw my face, her breathing intensified, she bit her lips, and her cheeks turned red. ¡°L-lord Yuu¡± She moved forward, resting her head on my shoulders and tightly holding my waist. ¡°Lord Yuu¡± This isn¡¯t what I imagined. The winning champion will be given one wish from the Goddess that summoned them. The Goddess who summoned them will then become the main Goddess of the world for a hundred years.¡±[Azaleina] ¡°So you want me to win and make you the main Goddess, am I correct?¡±[Yuu] ¡°If you don¡¯t want to, I could summon another one. On her waist was a brown belt, tightly holding the white pants she wore, with brownish boots that reached up to her shin. And her hair, it was, it was...braided. It was braided on two sides, each placed on her shoulder. Isn¡¯t it supposed to be a twin tail? There were lights on the edge of the bubble, but outside that was dark, as in there¡¯s no light at all. Looking at it slightly scares me, what if a gigantic monstrous whale appears and eat us? What if I get lost, stranded forever in this dark, underwater world? Outside the gate was cold, like I a dozen AC units were forced inside a small room. I¡¯m not shaking despite the coldness though. ¡°Hubby, let¡¯s start.¡± She said as bubbles appeared around her and covered her. Shortly, bubbles also appeared around me and covered me. ¡°There, with that, we can swim without getting wet.¡± She said as she grabbed my arms. ¡°Ok, time to swim to the surface!¡± She jumped out of the temple¡¯s bubble and moved upwards at high speeds, while grabbing my arms. As I got dragged, I could feel the force of water pushing me back, I could feel the cold temperature, and I could feel chills as I imagine a monster showing out of nowhere in this vast underwater world. When we passed another bubble, my worst nightmare came true, a gigantic, glowing, monstrous whale showed up. But somehow, I was able to keep my cool, is it because I¡¯m a high god? Aza stopped once she saw it and inhaled, and once she reached the capacity of her lungs, she yelled. ¡°Ygartha! I¡¯ll stay in the surface for a few years! Take care of the temple while I¡¯m gone!¡± The whale sent sounds I couldn¡¯t understand and when Aza heard it, she continued swimming to the surface. It took a few hours despite the speed in which we were traveling, but we finally got out of the sea. We jumped out of the water and Aza created a path made from ice. ¡°Welcome to Eivonroot, hubby.¡± She said as she smiled to me, filled with joy, without any hint of lust, like she was a totally different person. ¡°Ok, should we do it here?¡± Then my mind changed again, she¡¯s just a pervert...¡°Aza!¡± ¡°I¡¯m sorry! These are all my skills as a high God, it looks disappointing at first but once you know the different ways they are used, you¡¯ll see you actually have tons of skills. While still walking in the sea with Aza, I¡¯ve been experimenting on how I could use my skills. The key to use them is having a rich imagination, which is something all otakus have. For example, element creation and manipulation gives me full control over all elements. I¡¯ll imagine creating a sphere of wind, make it spin around as fast as I can, and make it bigger. The mana around my body will follow my orders and replicate my imagination. At this point, the technique is ready, but just to make things more awesome. I jumped from the ice path created by Aza, and said. ¡°Cho Odama Rasengan!¡± The sphere of wind cut everything it hit into tiny pieces, only dispersing once I cut the mana I used for it. Before falling to the sea, I created a thick layer of wind below me, solidifying it to make a platform and jumping from it and getting back to the ice path. Seeing that, Aza clapped her hands as she said. ¡°The was cool hubby, what attack was that?¡± ¡°It¡¯s nothing special, I just copied an attack from my past.¡±[Yuu] I¡¯ve been using the empty sea to practice my own skills, since what¡¯s the point of being a high God if I can¡¯t use my skills? And, it¡¯s a chance to realize my dreams, to use the attacks that I thought I could never do. While walking, I pulled a sword with a black blade from the inventory. With a flushed face, he said. ¡°It¡¯s far from here so just go to that direction and after passing seven houses, ask someone where Wilhat Tavern is.¡± ¡°Thanks¡± I said while showing a smile before walking to my right. There was a transparent barrier erected in the middle of the room, created by one of the adventurers. Inside is where we have to fight a red wolf. Aside from us, the others that would take the test are shaking in fear. Most of the people that tried lost and were badly injured, two even died. If you¡¯re afraid then get out! If you¡¯re not prepared to die then you don¡¯t have the right to kill! When my turn came, out of the seventeen people that came before me, only one succeeded, eleven were gravely injured, and four died. Sigh, they should have ran away while they had the chance... I stood up and walked to the barrier. ¡°Good luck hubby!¡± Aza said while waving her hand. When the man caught a glimpse of my face, he stopped me. ¡°Wait, are you sure you can handle this? If not, I suggest that you try another time.¡± ¡°I can.¡± And why are you only being concerned now? There are lots of weak looking people that came before me, why didn¡¯t you stop them? He was a bit sad as he let me enter the barrier, and as soon as I stepped inside, I sent a high speed air bullet to the wolf¡¯s head. In a split second, I turned around and stepped out of the barrier. Seeing that only a second has passed, he asked. ¡°A change of heart?¡± ¡°What are you saying? I already killed the wolf so give me the note.¡± I said while pointing at the wolf that now had a large hole on its head. Once it fell down, its blood scattered on the floor. The man¡¯s jaw dropped as he stared at the dead wolf, even the other adventurers, and even the others that want to take the test. ¡°So, are you giving me the note or not?¡±[Yuu] ¡°A...sorry¡± He said as he took a piece of note from his pocket. ¡°Here¡± I took it and stood at the side of the barrier. ¡°Since my friend will be next, can I wait for her here?¡± ¡°T-that shouldn¡¯t be a problem. Next!¡±[Man] Aza stood up and as she walked to the barrier, she said. ¡°Watch carefully hubby and be amazed. After my performance you¡¯ll fall in love with me.¡± ¡°Yes, yes, just get inside.¡±[Yuu] The people watched closely, they wanted to see how a friend of someone like me would defeat the wolf, not to mention that she¡¯s the youngest. Well, she only looks young, she¡¯s more than a hundred years old, or even thousands. Since they had to get a new wolf, Aza had to wait. Once the wolf was being transported, as soon as the wolf¡¯s head entered the barrier, it died. It was pierced from the inside by it¡¯s own blood. Aza merrily went out and said. ¡°Do you love me now?¡± ¡°You thought I¡¯d be attracted to that? What am I, a psychopath?¡±[Yuu] After that, she received a note and we both went back to the second floor. When I entered the room, the elf was still talking to someone, so I stood on the side. Once they were done, the elf said. ¡°You look unharmed, I guess a red wolf is to much for a girl like you.¡± ¡°What are you talking about?¡± I said while pulling the note from my pocket. ¡°Does this look like I failed?¡± ¡°H-how?¡±[Elf] ¡°Stop wasting time. Promote me and give me the plate.¡±[Yuu] It took an hour to update the plate. Once I got it, I went out and waited for Aza. When she showed up, she showed me her plate. ¡°Look, look, doesn¡¯t my name sound cool?¡± Since she almost shoved it on my face, I got a glance of the name written in the plate and it says Reila Vilansia. Why did sh- I get it, she has to hide her identity as a Goddess. ¡°You¡¯re wondering wh-¡°[Aza] ¡°To hide your identity, am I correct?¡±[Yuu] ¡°How did you know? You can read my mind? If you can, then that only means we¡¯re soul mates, we¡¯re made for each other!¡±[Aza] ¡°No, it was obvious. Besides, if I can read your mind, then why couldn¡¯t you read mine?¡±[Yuu] ¡°Of course I can, look.¡± She said while holding her forehead. ¡°You¡¯re thinking of perverted thoughts about me.¡± ¡°Dream on.¡± I said as I turned around and walked to the stairs. Now I can choose one of the missions hanged on the bulletin board on the first floor. I wonder if I could take A rank mission from the get go. This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. When we got to the first floor, the people around started staring at us. Is it about our ranking test? We ignored them and went to the bulletin board. I randomly picked an A rank quest and took it. ¡°Are you sure you want that one?¡± Said one of the men behind me. ¡°Yes¡± I said while walking away and standing in line, the one with the least people. Now that I think about it, everything is written in a different language and yet I can understand it. More than that, how could I not notice that I¡¯ve been talking in a different language? Excitement can do frightening things... Once my turn came, she took a look at the mission I chose and asked. ¡°Are you sure you want to take this?¡± ¡°Yes, is there a problem?¡±[Yuu] ¡°It¡¯s not allowed to take a quest two ranks higher than you, but since those from below told me about you, I can make an exception.¡±[Receptionist] So there¡¯s a rule like that. Not that it matter now. ¡°Mis- Sir? Sir Kobayashi, are you taking this alone?¡±[Receptionist] ¡°No, I¡¯ll take it with her.¡± I said while pointing at Aza. ¡°Then you should form a party first. Please head to the second floor and officially form a party. I¡¯ll keep this mission here so none could take it.¡±[Receptionist] ¡°Is that so, then please excuse me.¡± I said while walking back to the upper floor. Sigh, I should have done that first, what a waste of time... We had to stand in line again, and once our turn came, we were led to a room. This time, a beastman was inside. As Aza and I sat on a vacant chair, the beastman asked. ¡°Have you thought of a name for your party?¡± ...I haven¡¯t! ¡°Yuu¡¯s harem¡±[Aza] ¡°Ignore what she said.¡±[Yuu] Think Yuu, think, you need to think of an awesome name. Shadow knights? Dark brigade? No, I need something else! ¡°Yuu¡¯s slave harem!¡±[Aza] ¡°Aza!¡±[Yuu] ¡°I¡¯m sorry! It was a joke!¡±[Aza] Dark...black...maybe the opposite, white...shinning...luminous...luminous brigade? No, let¡¯s convert it to japanese. Hakko Ryodan? After thinking a bit more, I gave up and just went with Hakko Ryodan. Sounds like a group from hunter x hunter. Once we formed the party, we had to get in line again on the first floor. We didn¡¯t have problems with getting the mission though. Excited, I ran out of the city with Aza. We went at high speed and without resting, we got to the place we needed to in a day. We made quick work of the monsters around us and killed the monster that we needed to kill. In that one mission, we were able to get the needed points for the ranking mission. Ever since then, we moved non stop, taking missions, finishing it as fast as we could, and raising quickly raising our ranks. Since there was a scarcity in A ranked quest, we also traveled to different cities. People were starting to question why we could finish a mission so fast when it would usually take a long time to travel to where the mission is located. Not that we care, we just ignored it and continued doing what we want. The thing about it cooled down on its own, since the people started to admired us. I started noticing Aza¡¯s change in behavior when we were traveling. She¡¯s more quiet than when we first met, and her perverted actions were greatly reduced. Because of that, I slowly accepted her as a friend, only as a friend... As time passed, I slowly became bored with taking missions. It¡¯s, what do you call it, repetitive? I take a mission, run to the place where the mission is located, kill the monster, come back, then the cycle repeats. The only thing making my travels fun is Az-...nevermind. I got closer and closer to Aza without me noticing. The times we are in sync became more frequent. We started noticing the similarities in the things we like. We started fighting together, and I even limit myself so we could be in sync as we fight. I still find her aggressive and perverted acts to be annoying, but I¡¯m starting to think it¡¯s not so bad to have her around. A month after we became an adventurer, we decided to take one last mission, and it¡¯s a big one. Chapter 7: A month later Aza and I are walking in the narrow pathway of an underground cave, using flame orbs to create light and to cancel the cold temperature. We could hear the sounds of dripping water from a far, the sounds of monster moving in the dark. Since the stench of decaying corpses and monster waste was widely spread in the cave, I used wind magic to block the smell, both for myself and Aza. While in the narrow pathways, bat like monsters, at the size of an adult human, appeared and tried to attack us. ¡°How foolish, melchsee¡¯s lance.¡±[Yuu] I created spears made from earth and used void enchant to give it a dark color and the ability to erase everything it touches. I sent the spears to the bats, creating holes in their body, making them fall lifeless unto the cold floor of the cave. The sounds that the bats made attracted more monsters, cornering Aza and I in the narrow pathway. ¡°Are you ready Aza/hubby?¡±[Yuu/Aza] I looked forward and she looked at the back. As the monsters got closer, we both cracked our knuckles and said. ¡°Of course!¡± I leaped forward, leaving my back to Aza, and set a space with high gravitational pull using force manipulation. The monsters near the area were pulled together and when I increased the force, they were crushed by their own weight. ¡°Black hole¡± Before releasing it, I sent a wind ball with void enchant to erase the remains of the monsters. ¡°Dark Matter¡± Monsters kept popping out one after another, so I created thick walls of earth and turned it to metal. I softened the ground below me and pulled myself downwards with earth magic. Once I was out, a thousand spikes formed on the walls and it slowly went closer and closer to the enemy, piercing them and crushing them to death. I appeared next to the pillar created from my attack. ¡°Iron maiden: enclosing box version.¡± I could just destroy the whole cave, killing everything inside it, but that isn¡¯t fun. I want to enjoy using my powers, only killing those that is within my sight. When I went to Aza, she was also done on her side. ¡°That was fun.¡±[Aza] ¡°And there¡¯s still more waiting for us in the deepest part of the cave.¡±[Yuu] We both looked at each other, and since we couldn¡¯t hold our happiness in check, we smiled. Before continuing, we bumped fist. ¡°Let¡¯s go, Aza.¡± We are inside Mahudus Cave,a cave known as the home of powerful monsters and the passage way leading to the hardest dungeon in the world, the mirror dungeon. Dungeons are places linked to this world through teleport gates, and are usually the cause of problems in this world. They just randomly pop out somewhere and when they open, monsters inside the dungeon will crawl out and enter this world. It¡¯s a major problem for the world, and the ones responsible for destroying them are adventurers. They enter in groups and destroy the core of the dungeon, making it collapse and vanish. Despite the harms it might cause, the Goddesses remain silent, unless a dungeon dangerous enough to destroy the world shows up. Aza said they welcome foreign objects, since it usually brings new stuff that might be interesting to them. They don¡¯t need to help since the people themselves solve the problem, and when that isn¡¯t enough, the champions that they have summoned can help. When we got to the deepest part, we examined the surroundings. The path was filled with monsters, and at the back was the gate leading to the mirror dungeon. Also, standing near the gate was its gatekeeper. Each dungeon has a gate keeper when they first show up, and only by defeating the gate keepers will people gain access to the dungeon. ¡°Aza, let¡¯s do it.¡± I said while raising my left arm. ¡°As you wish hubby.¡± She said as she extended her arms forward. We remained silent for a few seconds until she created water from her arms. She created more and more water and soon shaped it into a serpent. I on the other hand created lightning on my arms, whenever it gets big, I compress it and whenever I do, it changes color. ¡°I¡¯m ready when you are hubby.¡±[Aza] ¡°Now!¡±[Yuu] She released the water serpent, and when it was no longer connected to her, I shot the lightning to it. The two attacks fused together, creating a black, lightning water serpent, killing everything it passes through. ¡°Perfect!¡±[Yuu/Aza] Again, I can do that on my own, but it looks more awesome if two people combined their attacks. Besides, Aza looks happy whe-...nevermind. When the attack got close to the gate keeper, it got canceled. We didn¡¯t do it, the gate keeper just waved the gigantic spear on it¡¯s hand and destroyed our attack. The gate keeper was a humanoid monster with a height of thirty feet or higher. It¡¯s body was made from stone, and there was lava flowing on the gap between the stones of its body. It''s like a smaller version of a titan from god of war. The reason the mirror dungeon is called the hardest is because of this guy. It has been stopping parties from entering the dungeon. The only time a group was able to enter was when a whole battalion came with them to stall for time. They didn¡¯t destroy the dungeon though, and only one was able to survive to tell what the inside looked like, a world made of mirrors. This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience. Unlike the other dungeons, the people don¡¯t know much about the mirror dungeon, making it a good place to venture. Though we won¡¯t go there today. Our only target is the gatekeeper. It¡¯s been a month since we became an adventurer and we only just entered the A rank a few days ago. Because of our performance in the first ranking test, they let us do A rank mission even when we were only E rank. Letting us advance quickly. It has gotten a bit boring going to faraway places to get points, so we took this one, a mission where we¡¯ll instantly become S rank when we accomplish it. After that, we¡¯ll live quietly until I win against the other two champions, who has yet to show up. If this place is the hardest, might as well save it for last. I¡¯ll let the other parties venture it first, since in the end, we of Hakko Ryodan will be the ones to destroy it. ¡°So hubby, what shoud we do?¡± She said while smiling merrily. Whenever we travel, especially when we fight together, she acts differently than normal. She¡¯s less aggressive on her advances, she literally doesn¡¯t act perverted, and simply becomes happy. I think this side of hers is good, if only she¡¯s always like this... ¡°Isn¡¯t the answer obvious?¡± I said while smirking. We stared at each other¡¯s eyes for a few seconds and laughed. Once we finished, we both leaped to the titan. I landed on the titan¡¯s toe and ran up to it¡¯s arm. Once I reached it, I punched it¡¯s arm with five percent of my divinity, separating it from its body. It tried to push me off by blowing at me, but I blocked the wind with my own wind magic. After that, I went down to its thighs and continuously kicked it until it got cut off. By the time I finished, Aza was also done, leaving the titan with no limbs. We jumped at the opposite and said. ¡°Are you still ok Aza/hubby?¡± We chuckled a bit after that and relaxed our arms. ¡°Aza, do you still remember the line I told you?¡± ¡°Of course, hubby.¡±[Aza] We jumped at the same time and swung our fist to the titan¡¯s head. ¡°Let¡¯s end this with a bang!¡±[Yuu/Aza] Aza used all of her strength in the punch, while I used ten percent of my divinity to match her strength. The titan¡¯s head was easily pulverized and once our hands touched, we stopped. ¡°Perfect!¡±[Yuu/Aza] ¡°That was awesome!¡±[Aza] ¡°Damn right it is.¡±[Yuu] We laughed again while we were in the middle of the titan¡¯s corpse. Doesn¡¯t it look like we¡¯re psychopaths? After that, we took the titan¡¯s eyes as proof that we killed it, and headed to the surface. Since it would be faster if I flew, once we got out of the cave, I carried Aza and flew back to the nearest city, which is Geata city, the fourth city we¡¯ve traveled to. ¡°Hubby, since you¡¯re holding me so passionately, why not go further and kiss me?¡±[Aza] Great, she¡¯s back to her old self...¡±Want me to drop you?¡± ¡°I¡¯m sorry! It was a joke!¡± While she closed her eyes as she shouted, I moved my head closer to hers. Once she opened her eyes, I gave her what she wanted. I made my lips touch hers for one second. ¡°Happy now?¡± Her cheeks turned bright red, and she stopped moving for a few seconds. After that, with her face still flushed, she said. ¡°W-was t-that a k-k-kiss?¡± ¡°Yes it is. What, You don¡¯t like it?¡± On the second thought...WHY DID I DO THAT? DON¡¯T TELL ME I BECAME A LOLICON WITHOUT ME NOTICING! We continued traveling on the sky, with our cheeks still red, and with both of us remaining silent. Hey! Be noisy like you always do! Say you want more, say you want to go further, say something so I could scold you and get out of this awkward situation!

Everyone, thank you for reading the story up till now. I didn¡¯t expect to get this amount of views, and boy am I shocked to see it rise. It¡¯s all good and all, but I doubt I could beat the impact of the first chapter with the next chapters I have planned. It was fun writing, despite being an amateur, despite having an awful flow, despite the grammar mistakes, despite not knowing the difference between showing and telling, I was able to make people happy...I hope someone was actually happy reading my fiction. Chapter 8: First impression is a big thing, but it isnt everything Seated on a long table, Aza and I stared at the food line up in front of us. We were inside the most luxurious tavern of Geata city, Mordat tavern. We are here to eat everything the tavern could offer, and of course that means one thing. ¡°Are you ready? Devourer of all food?¡±[Yuu] ¡°I¡¯m always ready!¡±[Aza] We glared at each other, and as time passed we became more heated up. The tavern was crowded, it was filled with people, both citizen and adventurers, and both male and female. They all gazed at us with amazement, not just from our food titles, but also because we became S rank adventurers. To add, we also killed the gate keeper of the hardest dungeon, giving free access to every adventurers. Like it was normal, a man stood close to us as Aza and I stared at each other. He tossed a coin in the air and the moment it hit the ground, Aza and I started eating. While we were eating intensely, the people around cheered. ¡°You can do it Yuu!¡± ¡°Don¡¯t lose Reila!¡± Reila is Aza¡¯s fake name to hide her identity. I don¡¯t think the others even know there¡¯s a Goddess called Azaleina though. In fact, I haven¡¯t heard of any religion worshiping the three Goddesses... While eating, Aza looked at me and said. ¡°Kiss?¡± W-what? W-hy are you mentioning that now? I got flustered as I remembered what I did earlier and lost my eating speed... ¡°T-that¡¯s cheating!¡± I did slow down, but I wasn¡¯t left behind. Just as I got flustered, Aza did too. No, her cheeks were a lot redder than mine and she literally stopped moving. I recovered faster, and by the time Aza recovered, there was a large gap between us. Serves you right, you cheater! ¡°I win!¡± I said while raising my hand. The people around cheered again, and when everything cooled down, they went and did their own thing. When Aza finished, she said. ¡°...that¡¯s cheating, you started while I wasn¡¯t moving.¡± ¡°Says the one who mentioned what hap-¡° I froze as I remembered the kiss, and so did Aza. ¡°F-forget about that, let¡¯s go upstairs.¡± I said while standing up. ¡°never¡±[Aza] ¡°Did you say something?¡± I said as I looked back. ¡°I said I love you.¡±[Yuu] ¡°Is that so?¡± I said while walking to the stairs casually. Just like any luxurious tavern, the second floor was the inn. We planned to stay here today and buy our own house in this city tomorrow, since we don¡¯t plan on traveling any time soon. Our room was wide enough for two beds, a round table with three chairs, a table with one chair located right beside the window, and a large closet which was right beside the bathroom. The room was fully furnished with this world¡¯s standards. Could use a bit more dark color though... As we entered the room, I said. ¡°Aza, don¡¯t jum-¡° But I was too late, she ran past me and jumped to one of the beds. ¡°Seriously, start acting your age.¡± ¡°Only if you k-k-ki-¡° Her cheeks turned red and she slammed her head to the pillow to avoid eye contact. Why do you keep mentioning that when you also get affected? Just forget about it already! It¡¯s embarrassing! Since it¡¯s already dark outside and there¡¯s nothing to do in the room, I closed the lights and laid on my bed. Just like in every corner of the streets, the light on our room was a shard shaped crystal, which is powered by magic. We just came from a mission, but there¡¯s no need to change, and there¡¯s no need to take a bath. We always keep a thin layer of water in both our skin and clothes. It moves in downwards, pushing any dirt or stain off of our body, keeping us clean all the time. It¡¯s a spell I learned from Aza. It was a busy month, but it¡¯s finally over. I did enjoy the first weeks, but on the last, it just felt like I was doing it because I need to get the highest rank. You really do get tired when you do things repeatedly, I wonder why the opposite is happening with Aza though. Instead of getting bored, I get more and more interest- WHAT AM I THINKING? ERASE! ERASE! ERASE THAT THOUGHT! In the middle of the night, while laid on my bed thinking, I felt Aza moving closer to my bed. I forgot to put a restraining spell on her... Instead of immediately scolding her, I waited, to see what she¡¯ll do to me if I was really asleep. I knew she was a pervert, but I don¡¯t want to believe that she¡¯ll attack me on my sleep. Instead of seeing me as a sexy woman, you only saw me as a pervert. I continued my act, I had to. It was the only way I know to make you look at me. I liked you for your face, and liked you more for your status, is that really love? I want to stay with you, I want you to smile at me, I want you to say you love me, but seeing how it started, can I really say that I love you? As time passed I started thinking that my emotions were fake, that I was only forcing myself to think I love you, but then you kissed me. When our lips touched, I felt joy that I have never felt before. In that one moment, my emotions were real and I was completely sure, I was happy. Every questions concerning my love for you vanished and was replaced by another, how could I make you look at the real me? Tomorrow, when you wake up, when you look at me, you¡¯ll see the usual me, the me that you think is real. Now that I know my feelings for you are real, the more I want to continue acting. You kissed me, that was enough to show our relation is moving a bit, but only the relation with my fake self. Even if you like me, even if you fall in love with me, I¡¯m afraid you¡¯ll hate me once you see the real me. Sigh, in the end this is all how it would be. Her body shook lightly, but it was obvious she was trying to hold her emotions. ¡°Az-¡°[Yuu] She immediately raised her head and looked at me. ¡°M...muha...haha, t-t...that w-was a joke.¡± She said as she cried. ¡°D-d...did I f-fool y...you?¡± ¡°Aza-Azaleina, I have something to tell you.¡±[Aza]

In my world, I was just a man born from a wealthy family. I was the second son and I was always living behind the shadow of my brother, I hated that so I searched for something to ease my heart. I went to college, had normal friends, attended gatherings, did everything that a normal person would do, but slowly, I was captivated by the otaku culture. Be it watching or reading, everything in the otaku culture made me happy. From then on, I slowly allotted more time to my new found hobby. A few years after that, a war started in my world. My family created shelters early, thinking that the war might affect them in the future. I did the same, using every resource I have to create my own safe haven. Soon, the war ended, but at the cost of people¡¯s life. The technology that was supposed to make the world flourish was the thing that destroyed it. The people who should know how to protect the world were the ones who destroyed it. When we thought everything was over, the Gods of our world showed up and fought each other. In the end, the ones who should be watching over the world were also the ones who destroyed it. I entered my shelter and hid underground. In those forty years I did nothing but watch and read. When my shelter finally gave in, I went outside, since I did not want to die without accomplishing something. I found two bodies lying on the floor and took it with me to my shelter. To prolong my life, to do what I wanted, I ate them. Do you know the reason why I was so intent on living? It was merely to read a book. In those forty years, never once have I thought about my family, my friends, and everyone I was acquainted with. I simply lived for myself and even in the end, just for my hobby, I killed two people.¡±[Yuu] Aza already stopped crying and was now sitting on her bed, staring at me as she listened, despite not understanding half of what I was saying. ¡°Do you know how I became a high God? It¡¯s because of the two people I ate. Those two were the two Gods that fought. Everything you see in front of you is a product of eating two Gods.¡±[Yuu] She was surprised, but remained silent. ¡°On the same day I awakened my powers, I was summoned to this world, and then I met you. Do you see now? I am not what you think I am. I am nothing but a useless otaku that miraculously gained strength. Now tell me, after hearing all that, do you still love me?¡±[Yuu] She remained silent for a few seconds, before saying. ¡°It doesn¡¯t matter to me what you were in the past, or what you will become in the future. I want to know more about you, I want to be with you for as long as I could, I love you.¡± She said as she smiled. ¡°Is that so¡± I said while walking to her. ¡°Then Aza, you no longer have to act.¡± ¡°¡­¡±[Aza] ¡°I also want to be with you, I also want to know more about you, the real you.¡± I said while holding her hand. Now I know why I kissed her, it was so simple. ¡°Azaleina, I love you.¡± Tears formed on her eyes, but the smile on her face showed the meaning behind it. She was happy. I slowly moved my body forward and hugged her. She rested her head on my chest as she hugged me. We stayed liked that for a few minutes and at the same moment, we looked at each other. Without saying anything, we understood each other and closed our eyes as our lips touched for the third time. We both blushed and we were both embarrassed, but despite that, we didn¡¯t stop. After a few minutes, we opened our eyes, and spoke at the same time. ¡°I love you Aza/Yuu¡± We both chuckled as we stared at each other, and after that I moved my arms around her waist as she moved her arms around my neck. ¡°Does this mean we¡¯re in a relationship now?¡±[Aza] ¡°Aren¡¯t we married already?¡±[Yuu] We once again closed our eyes and kissed. After that, we slept on the same bed, with our hands connected, and with smiles on our faces. Now I¡¯m certain, I do not want to see her sad like earlier. I want her to be happy, I want her to smile. Tresl(Taf Kingdom) On the city of Tresl, in the adventurer¡¯s guild, a plain looking, black haired woman was looking at the receptionist in front of her. She just finished an F rank gathering mission, and the receptionist was now counting the fruits she has gathered. Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings. ¡°That¡¯s a total of ten rin berries, good work.¡± The receptionist said as he stored the fruits and gave the woman a stash of coins. ¡°Just a few more points and you can take the ranking mission.¡± As the woman took the stash she said. ¡°Even if I take it, I don¡¯t think I can do it...¡± ¡°Have more confidence, I¡¯ve seen you grow this past month, so I¡¯m sure you can do it.¡±[Receptionist] ¡°Thanks¡± She said as she smiled before turning back and heading out of the guild. In the middle of the night, she walked to the inn she was staying at. One she opened the door to her room, someone appeared near her and as she went inside, the person followed. ¡°Do you have leads on the other champions?¡±[Woman] The person wearing an assassin¡¯s garb said. ¡°Yes, there¡¯s someone that has been increasing adventurer ranks at Dalnass kingdom, and he showed up a few days after you came to this world, so there¡¯s a high chance he¡¯s a champion.¡± ¡°Dalnass?¡±[Woman] ¡°Do not worry, he is on a mission to kill the gate keeper of the mirror dungeon. No matter how strong he is, I¡¯m sure it will take him some time to before he can come back. I¡¯m certain he won¡¯t hinder your plans.¡± The man looked at the woman, waiting for her response. ¡°Then continue¡±[Woman] ¡°He registered in the adventurer¡¯s guild a month ago and based from the reports, he was promoted to A rank five days ago. His name is Yuu Kobayashi.¡±[Man] ¡°Yuu is it? Gather more information about him.¡±[Woman] ¡°As you wish¡±[Man] The woman walked closer to a drawer, and from there she took out a pair of glasses. ¡°So, what about the mission I gave you?¡± She said as she wore the glasses. ¡°I have successfully smuggled the princess of Rigel kingdom to the borders of Daltass kingdom. By tomorrow she¡¯ll pass through Geata city.¡±[Man] ¡°Have you given hints to Rigel kingdom?¡±[Woman] ¡°Yes, by now their army is marching to the territory of Dalnass kingdom.¡±[Man] ¡°Good, all that¡¯s left is to wait for the war between the two kingdoms to start. Once the war starts, maybe he will get caught in it and die. I wonder where the other champion is.¡±[Woman] Zephal Tundra(Demon Territory) ¡°Achoo!...Damn it! Now I have cold! That stupid Goddess! She stood up and said. ¡°I¡¯ll go downstairs, what should I order for you?¡± ¡°Any dish with meat should do.¡±[Yuu] ¡°Ok¡± She said as she smiled before walking to the door. After I went downstairs and ate with Aza, we went out to search for a house. We held hands as we walked around the city, and we swung our arms lightly from the sheer happiness that both of us felt. While walking, we saw someone running to us. As the person ran, the hood of the cloak she wore was pushed by the wind, letting me see her face. Right behind here were five men, running after her with weapons in their arms. The citizens either gave way, or ran away. None wanted to help the woman, even though it was obvious from her pleading expression that she needed help. When our eyes met, she saw that I was willing to help, so she ran to me saying. ¡°Save me!¡± I stood my ground and waited for her, and as she got closer, I noticed the bruises on her face. She held my hand tightly, and her shaking motion made it obvious that she was scared, so I said. ¡°It¡¯s ok now.¡± Seeing that I didn¡¯t move, she looked back to those who were running after her. What she saw was five unconscious people laid on the ground. As the woman held my right hand tightly because of fear, Aza held me left hand tightly because of insecurity.

Some may be confused as to why the black haired woman wanted Yuu to be a part of the war when the man wearing an assassin''s garb implied that they did not want him to be involved. They do not want anyone to interrupt their plans, which is to start the war between to kingdoms, but once the war starts, it''s completely fine for Yuu to show up.
