《Rise of Agze'sCanvas》 Chapter 1: The Day I Transcended In a lonely alley located in the center of a giant metropolis that looks like it has been taken out of a futuristic dystopic novel, lies a battered body of a young boy. The young boy looks to be around 18 years old and is unmoving. How he has gotten to where he was, is a tale of how sadness and unfairness prevails over perseverance and determination. It all began 18 years ago, when a baby boy was born to a loving couple in their mid twenties. The couple despite not having much in their names felt that they were the most blessed people on the planet. They were runaway newlyweds forced apart by their families who rejected their marriage. Mummy and daddy welcome you into our lives and we wish that you grow up strong and happy." ************************************************************************************************** 8 years passed by quickly, and the little baby grew up into a young boy, who is attending elementary school. This was the period of his life he felt the most happiness. A skinny stature with a little taller than usual height, weighing an average among his peers, endowed with natural flaming red hair and crimson-marble eyes, Kalm stood out like a sore thumb among everyone else in his cohort. Together with a knack for making friends and his extremely outgoing personality, he soon became the leader of his little group. Although being constantly praised by all teachers and classmates, Kalm did not grow up arrogant and prideful. He was brought by his parents with humility. He was the role model of how every kid his age should strive to be in this present dystopian society. The small Agze family was not well-to-do, yet not poor. Young Kalm was not deprived of love from his parents. The kind of love that compensates for all or even more of what he didn''t have. But alas, the happiness was not meant to last. Reason unbeknownst, whether it was the work of fate or the heartless play of God''s whimsical hand, the next card dealt for Kalm on his ninth birthday was the news of his parent''s passing, a result of a road accident. His parents were accused of ignoring the traffic light, and the evidences found on site were against Mr and Mrs Agze. Among the debris of the accident was a grey paper box containing a smashed cake, with words barely recognizable written of top. "Happy Birthday, Kalm!" These two entity was born from inside Kalm on that fateful day and had every since been with him, at first he thought that they were his deceases parent''s souls and found refuge in the entities for his losses but as time passes he realized that they were not them but still feels attachment and gratitude toward the orbs as they brought him what he needed the most during the time where he was at his weakest... companionship. The rented room he was staying in sizes up to 4m length x3m width x 1.5m height, it was more like a small storeroom then an actual room especially looking at the floor to ceiling distance but this was all Kalm could afford. After the tragic incident 7 years ago, beside losing everything, he also gain some new things.... debts, as the accident was the fault of his parent ignoring the traffic lights the reparation amounting to $844,099 was carried over to him. Even after selling off the family house and anything that was of value it only came close to paying off 50% of the total amount owed. After that fiasco all he had left were a few pieces of clothing and the framed picture of a 8 year old him with his parents taken during a festival. Every time he looks at the picture, he was reminded of the good times when his parent was still alive. However he was not one to dwell on the past, the memories are important to him but they will not influences his future choices. This kind of positive attitude was ingrain into him by his dad ever since he was young and together with the unconditional love given to him till the day they parted he moves onward while keeping all the sadness suppressed deep inside of him. The shadow and two orb flew down the stairs passing the landlady who was going the opposite way but not before giving a greeting''''GOOD MORNING...IM SOOO LATE'''' The lady took it as it was the norm because this happens almost every single day at around exactly the same time, as for not finding the orbs passing by her sight strange, it was because other people beside Kalm seems to not be able to see them. Running toward his part-time job at a bookstore at break neck speed, he still finds the time to converses with his two comrade . While turning around the corner of an alleyway which Kalm frequently uses, he crashed into what felt like a sturdy wall which should not have been there. Upon contact Kalm fell back bum first onto the wet floor, he then look toward the object that he had crash into and found that instead of a wall, there were five figure of people that Kalm knew very well. They were debt collector whom harasses him frequently using violences and among them was one that he fears immensely. Wearing clothing found in manga depicting yakuza, a purple inner collar shirt with a over coat together with bling accessories. I am on my way to work so that i can get the money to pay back what i owe you'''' replied kalm while using his brain to think up the best responds to garner up as much point as possible to enable him to pass through without any problems. Kalm knew that no matter what he do will not change the outcome as from the start the debt collector Ojima mind was already made up regardless. Even if he was paid he will still find fault with kalm and violence will ensue, this was the reason why Kalm was so fearful of him. Seeing the inevitable situation that was gonna happen, the orbs float forward placing themselves in between kalm and the other trying to shield him against his aggressor but all was for naught as what can two entities without any physical body do except to let them pass through their bodies. Seeing how agitated and helpless his comrade was desperately try to fight back, Kalm felt warmth and happiness deep down in his chest. Day turns to night as kalm laid face up against the sky, on his chest his companion was waiting for him to open his eyes. Kalm with a bruised face woke up from his forced sleep, trying his hardest to open his eyes but could only manage one as the other was unable due to extensive bruising.He came upon the starless night sky covered with layer upon layers of dark polluted clouds before then moving down his sight towards his chest where two quiet yet warm presences waited for him to regain his bearing. Kalm look upon them and says'''' See i am fine, abit sore but fine'''' as he try to create a smile through his overly swelled lips,'''' Ah i got to wake up early tomorrow and apologies to the bookshop''s owner for missing work today, i be counting on both of you(sun and nite) to wake me up on time k '''' '''' Ting,Ting'''' sounded out the orbs gently. '''' Aww i can''t move my arms and leg... guess i must be too tired'''' ''''I guess i will just have to rest here for tonight...ha,ha....ha'''' ''''Ting'''' ''''K, i be going.. to rest now... i''ve be counting..on...you guys to.. wake me..up tomor..row......yes....tomoo'''' said Kalm as his voice turns into silences as it get softer and softer till it could no longer be heard any more. The orbs stayed there with Kalm for nearly an hour even after his body had turned cold as if guarding their most important person. Afterwards both of them slowly sink down into his chest toward the bright warm white light where they were born from. Sun and Nite then floats around that warm light before lifting it up and exiting the now lifeless body . Carrying the light, the three then ascended into starless night sky toward the yonder and beyond. Unknown to Kalm, he had died in his previous world and have been reborn on a different one. A sturdy yet ensuring voice sounded out ending his erratic thoughts''''Harabak gunr debak...kishie Agze....hummm hum'''' the voice started humming a hymn which causes Kalm to calm down, combined with the repeated swaying from left to right, thus inducing a sleep like hypnosis on helpless little Kalm.Feeling sleepy Kalm''s thoughts started to doze off as all his anxiety get washed away by the warm and gentle rough voice ushering him into the land of dreams. There were no noise beside his own at this time, when he tries to get a sense of his surrounding through his nose, the scent of rustic old wood weave through his nostril, there were also scent of calming yet spicy dry herb all around him. As for what he was lying at, the texture of soft cotton permeated through his soft pearly skin as he wiggle around using his best effort to try and explore. The orange sky covers the early evening skies as the sun make its way down the distance horizon. A aged man in his fifties with semi quick step was anxiously making his way back home from the forest, on his shoulder''s he carried a huge boar like beast whose size and weight were clearly much greater then his, yet the man in question looks to not have any difficulties with it as he walk toward the cabin located in a clearing within the forest. The man seems to be harmless yet he produces an aura of power indicating that he was much more then what he seems, Half naked with only his pants on, revealing his prime burging abs and pac which looks to be crafted out of greek bronze instead of flesh, on them were scars of different size as they pay testament to the battles of past. In place of his shoulder extend out were two extremely well train limbs, each one could easily break a fully grown man into halves, just by looking at them people would have mistaken them for deadly weapons instead of arms. Bald to a fault, not a single strand of hair could be seen on the top of his head, on his chin were rough granite disguising as beard, one could only imagine how it would feels like if they come into contact with it. This 2 meter tall,weighting 227 kg bear of a man was the granddad of the baby Kalm in this world, in the past he was a legendary figure known by many names, Fist of the dragon king,Bald Kratos, Bloody abbot,God of war, The thousand mountains and many more. But to the near future Kalm he will only he known as Grandpa Agze. The door creaked open as the old man attempts to enters, upon entering the heavy aura surrounding the man subsided completely turning into a warm one instead. Having sensed the disappearance of the heavy aura kalm''s crying got softer almost as if he could tell that the dread had passed by. The old man looked toward the back of the room at the cradle with a doting smile and says'''' Kalm, I''m home are you hunger? Don worry, grandpa will feed you soon''''. Hearing the gentle voice of the stranger yet still not being able to understand any of it, Kalm stopped crying as he understood the owner of that voice meant him no harm. The old man then nodded his head once as if saying good boy before leaving to walk back out of the cabin toward the dead boar''s body with a few small wooden cup from the cabin. He then reach out to a small hunter knife attached to the side of his waist and proceed to cut a small gash upon the belly of the boar, upon penetrating a mixture of both red and white liquids flows out, the warm blood mixed milk of the boar was then collected by the old man into the wooden cups. With dinner collected, the old man then retraced his steps back into the cabin and said'''' Kalm, your Dinner is here'''' Agze''s pov Still not able to understand the language of the world, kalm could only speculated upon what is happening around him. When the fierce aura he felt from outside came closer, he could only think of something dreadful coming toward him but yet when it enter his proximity the aura suddenly disappeared and another took came upon its place. That new aura did not felt threatening, in opposed to that it felt comforting instead, when he was deep in his thought about what was happening a voice came from the aura in question which calmed him down as he knows the owner of the voice was that of the stranger early on. Putting down the emptied cup on the table next to him, he then turned his gazes back to his adorable grandchild but what greeted him back causes his old wrinkle face to contort into one of shocked.''''What.....this?'''' It is to be known that the normal colour of mana that Kalm absorb from the environment is normally clear blue and feels comforting , this new mana however had a hint of red mixed in with the normal blue and it felt violent by nature. Afraid of the consequences of allowing the red mana in, he commanded the blue mana within him to try and suppress the red intruders, however it was clear that the red mana from the core was much more dense and purer then his, causing the blue side to be constantly pushed back instead. The situation got even worse as the red mana manages to exit out from his lower adomenal region and entered into his mana channel, clearly it intended to spread across his entire body attacking every part along the way. Inch by inch the red mana journey across Kalm''s body colonising every part with its presence, causing itchiness to Kalm akin to that of hundred of insect roaming on top of his skin. Slowly but surely all the chaotic mana was converging toward his soul space located slightly below his heart. Kalm''s face turned blue with fear as he thought about his two comrade that is currently living in his soul space. Quickly moving his mind, he enter the soul space to try and warn them about the impeding invasion, only to came upon an excited Nite swimming around as if it was a joyous occasion. Suddenly something clicked inside his mind, '''' Maybe when Nite knock that monster core off my hand was not an accident, maybe it was intentional.'''' Thought Kalm Kalm then abandon all his previous plan about evacuating his two comrade and started to wait for what is gonna happen. This was only made possible as he believes that Nite will never do anything that will cause him harm, such was the strength of their trust. By now, no remaining core could be seen in his stomach as it had been fully ingested, the mass of chaotic mana now gathers outside the soul space as if waiting for a higher command to began their assault.
