Chapter 1 - Bone Slicer It was a stereotypical morning for me, David Johnson: wake up, brush my teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast, pack up for school, etc. As David was walking to school... (David) The weather is fantastic today! Sunshine, a nice breeze, a good temperature...ah, what a perfect day! It''s really a pity that I have to GO TO SCHOOL!!! Yelling this, David suddenly stopped walking with an irritated look on his face. (David) Grrr...this is so annoying...I don''t wanna go to school, I wanna stay at home and go swimming in the pool... As he was muttering, he suddenly felt something...strange. As if water was trickling down his neck, freezing the skin as it goes. (David) What is this feeling...it''s as if...all hell''s gonna break loose...*shiver* (???) You...noticed...me? Not...good...need...to...work harder... David trembles, not because he was cold, but out of pure fear. (David) Who''s there?! {What are horrifying voice! It sounds just like a...a...} (???) Who''s there? Me...just...me...who is "me"...who am I? A young boy with sickly white hair and blood red eyes suddenly steps out of the shadows. He is wearing ragged shorts filled with rips and tears. He is covered in dirt, obscuring his true appearance, and isn''t even wearing a shirt. The strange youth suddenly does something that scares the hell out of David: he smiles. Not a normal smile, a smile that makes David feel like the boy is looking at an appetizing dessert. (???) You noticed me...so can I...kill you? (David) {Not good, this guy is totally crazy! Gotta call the cops!} Whipping out his phone, David immediately dials 911 and begins to run away while holding the phone to his ear. (David) Yes, hello? There is this crazy person who is threatening to kill me...yep...I am currently on Pearl Stree- AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Screaming, David arches his back against his will, and a look of intense pain appears on his face. *CRRRRRRRAAACK!!!* David, now a lifeless corpse, falls to the ground with his back bent in an unnatural fashion. The boy walks over to the corpse and stares at it with an emotionless expression. (???) Need to...work harder...can''t...let...them...see me... The boy then takes on a confused look. (???) ...only this...one...sensed me...but why? How? *Sirens screaming* *SCCCRREEEEEEEEECCH!!* A police car comes to a screeching halt in front of the boy and a police officer steps out of the car, a fearful look in his eyes. (Policeman) Put both hands in the air and hold them behind your head! You are under arrest for murder! He yelled as he pointed his gun at the boy. (???) ...noisy... (Policeman) Did you not hear me?! Put both hands in the air and-*gasp* (???) Too noisy...shut up. The boy then raises his hand, and points at the policeman. (Policeman) {Can''t...breath...what did he do? The policeman''s lifeless corpse falls to the ground, and the boy turns away from it and begins to shake violently. (???) Not enough...need more...more...more...MORE!!! *BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM* (News Reporter) Just 2 hours, the police found the dead body of a young man along with a policeman who were found at the site of the explosion that occurred yesterday... (???) Woah, that''s scary! I''m glad I wasn''t there! Right, Alyssa? (Alyssa) I agree, that''s pretty scary, especially since I almost went that way to walk to school yesterday! Gosh, good thing I didn''t. Think about it: you might have lost your best friend Elizabeth. (Elizabeth) How many times do I have to tell you!? Standing near the curb is a young boy about 4 feet tall. He has messy white hair and ghostly pale skin. He is looking around anxiously as if waiting for something. Noticing this, Alyssa begins to walk over to him with a frown on her face, but is stopped by Elizabeth. (Elizabeth) What''s wrong? (Alyssa) There''s someone there! He looks lost. I''m gonna go help him! (Elizabeth) Hey! Wait up! Alyssa runs off towards the boy with Elizabeth in tow. As they approach the boy, he looks up at them quizzically. (Alyssa) Hey little guy, what''s wrong? What''s your name? Are you lost? Are you looking for your parents? How old are you? (Elizabeth) Hey, Alyssa, calm down! You''re overwhelming him! Don''t ask so many- (Young Boy) Nothing is wrong. My name is Johnny. I am not looking for my parents as I don''t have any. I was created 6 years ago so I am 6 years old. (News Reporter) 2 school girls have been found dead on the street with their spines split. It appears that the "Bone Slicer" has struck again! Now, onto the weather... Chapter 2 - Underground Operation At a certain research facility, a tough, middle-aged man is pacing the room while stroking his beard. He has a scar across his left eye and countless other scars across his arms. He then yells... (???) Damn! He went berserk again! A researcher approaches the scarred man and says with a frown on his face... (???) This is quite the problem. We need to retrieve him IMMEDIATELY! (???) Alright then, let''s begin the preparations. Then, with a horrifying smile, the man makes a statement under his breath. (???) You can run, but you can''t hide...Blitz... At a government research facility, a researcher is watching the film of a young boy brutally murdering some innocent civilians. A stern looking man in a tuxedo is staring at the video over the researcher''s shoulder. (Researcher) Are you sure it''s him, Boss? (Boss) Yes, I am quite sure. That is the product of the illegal research on artificial life forms. (Researcher) If we get our hands on that sample... (Boss) We will have the pinnacle of artificial life forms, the ultimate weapon, Blitz! (Researcher) Ummm...sir, what exactly makes Blitz so dangerous? I haven''t received any info on it apart from ot''s appearance. (Boss) Well, I can''t tell you everything. But I can tell you some of Blitz''s capabilities. Blitz has a multitude of powers, ranging from telekinesis to hypnosis. What makes him even more dangerous is that fact that he is currently in a fragile state of mind. (Announcer) Welcome, everyone, to the concert of the ages, the party of the century, with the singer of the year...LILY!!! (Crowd) YEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH!!!! LILY!! LILY!! LILY!! Then, as the crowd chants the name of the famous singer, the person in question strides onto the stage. Wearing an incredibly flashy dress, a petite girl with tanned skin, golden-blonde hair, shining blue eyes, and a dazzling smile raises here microphone and begins to speak. (Lily) Thank you everyone for coming to my concert today! I will now sing my newest song, Stars Gleaming In The Night. As a beautiful voice singing an equally beautiful song drifts out into the night sky, someone is listening nearby...sitting atop the Empire State Building is a young boy that appears to be roughly 6 years of age. Meanwhile, back on the Empire State Building, Johnny is smiling with his signature evil smile, fully ready to fight. (Blitz) Let''s put your plan on hold for now. We have company. The boy nods, and then shouts with all his might. (Johnny) Yeah...LET''S GO!! Chapter 4 - Johnnys First Battle Currently, at a secret government facility, there is a stern looking man issuing orders left and right. He then contacts the helicopter pilot that has spotted the target. Speaking into his headset... (???) Helicopter #3, report on the target''s actions. (Helicopter Pilot #3) Sir, the target is currently immobile and facing away from me. He appears to be talking to himself...huh? (???) What? (Helicopter Pilot #3) I have lost visual on the target! The man''s face drains of what little color it had, and he then yells into his headset. (???) Crap! Get out of there immediately! *BZZZZZZZZTT!* (???) Helicopter #3! Report! Can you hear me! Suddenly, the staff begin to talk all at once. (Staff Member #1) General Clyde, we have lost all communication with helicopter #3! (Staff Member #2) Sir, helicopter #3 has disappeared off the radar! *BANG* Smashing his fist on the table the general yells out in frustration. (General Clyde) SHIT!! We underestimated it! (Staff Member #1) General, what should we do? Pacing furiously, the general begins to calm down and think rationally. This trait is what has allowed him to rise to the top of the rankings in the army. Finally calming down, the general issues a single command. (General Clyde) Order helicopters #2, #5 and #7 to go to helicopter #3''s last location! (All Staff) YES SIR!! A few minutes ago, before helicopter #3''s vanished... *Glass shattering* Johnny shatters the windshield of the helicopter and hops into the interior of the aircraft, completely disregarding the cuts he got from punching his fist through the glass. (Johnny) Hello! A fine night isn''t it! What a nice helicopter you have here! The pilot just stares at this monster before them. Johnny scratches his head, seemingly embarrassed for some reason. During this brief moment of ackwardness, the lacerations on the boy''s arms have already healed. (Helicopter Pilot #3) (< and > represent thoughts) Suddenly crossing his arms, Johnny talks to the pilot with a poorly disguised anger in his voice. (Johnny) How rude! I wasn''t aware that there was a door! The pilot was shocked by this statement. (Helicopter Pilot #3) *Gasp* You know what I''m thinking!? (Johnny) Yep! As I was saying, quite a fine night isn''t it? Such a pity that YOU SHOWED UP!!!! Irritated and yelling the last part, Johnny raises his hand and brutally kills the pilot by folding her in half. The corpse of the pilot begins to shake uncontrollably and slowly moves. The spine begins to mend itself and the corpse regains the life in it''s eyes. (Helicopter Pilot #3) What? Huh? I thought I died? (Johnny) You did. But I brought you back. After all, you can''t be allowed to die just yet. For ruining my big chance at obtaining the object of my desire (Lily), YOU MUST DIE A THOUSAND DEATHS!!! Looking at the crazed youth before them, the pilot wasn''t sure how to react. However, someone else couldn''t help commenting... (Blitz) ...Seriously? (Johnny) DON''T INTERRUPT BLITZ!!! (Blitz) ...Okay... *GACKH* Johnny grabs the pilot by the neck and lifts her in the air with one hand and begins to squeeze, causing the eyeballs of the pilot to nearly pop out of their sockets. (Johnny) First death...SUFFOCATION!!! Johnny then suffocates the pilot and revives them again. (Johnny) Second death...RIPPED IN HALF!!! Johnny then splits the pilot into two parts, ripping him down the exact center of the spine. All the internal organs of the pilot spill out from the corpse, creating a disgusting scene. After reviving them... (Johnny) Third death...BLOOD LOSS FROM GETTING YOUR D*** CHOPPED OFF!! (Blitz) Johnny then rips the clothing of the pilot off and... (Johnny) ...you''re a girl??? You see, right before he was gonna use hypnosis on her, she informed Johnny of her purpose: the government wanted to bring him to a school! Johnny decided that this "school" thing sounded interesting and agreed to the offer without a second thought. Naturally, Blitz was furious, but the result is as what was mentioned earlier. By the way, the female pilot is named Nicole. (Nicole) Anyway, let me explain for about the school you will be attending. (Johnny) Okay!! (Blitz) (Nicole) You see, school is where you go to receive education about various things such as math, history, etc. However, the school you are going to is slightly different; while we have all of the typical subjects, we also teach people like you how to control your powers. (Nicole) Welcome to the government-run school, and your new home: Superbia Academy! (Johnny) WOW!!!!! In front of Johnny was an incredible sight to behold; a massive, white castle with intricate carvings all covering the walls. The carvings were lined with gold and a strang purple gemstone similar to diamond that gave off a calming glow. 2 waterfalls flooded down the sides of the castle forming lakes at the bottom of each side. Floating above the very top of the castle was an incredibly large purple sphere. A truly awe-inspiring sight to behold. Noticing the look of awe on the boy''s face, Nicole begins to talk excitedly. (Nicole) This is but one of the 7 government-run schools, however it is by far the most prestigious of them all; "Superbia" DOES mean "Pride" after all! Johnny looks a little startled for some reasom when he hears this. (Johnny) The Seven Deadly Sins, huh? (Nicole) That''s correct! Each academy is based off of one of the Seven Deadly Sins, Pride, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, Wrath, and Envy. (Blitz) (Johnny) AWESOME!!! I LOVE IT!!!! He seemed to have ordinary thoughts and worries such as homework, but as I went deeper, I was horrified: darkness. Everywhere. Johnny feels that he looks strangely familiar, and then realizes (after reading the man''s mind) that he is Nicole''s older brother! (Instructor) Welcome to ESP Combat Class! My name is General Nicholas, and I will be your combat instructor this year. Before we begin, I need to get a few things straightened out. Okay! Time to explain how the tiers work: The numbers range from 0 to 20, with 0 being the level of a god and 20 being an ordinary person who doesn''t know how to fight. There has never been a tier 0 before, and there have only been 2 tier 1 people in all of history. One of which was actually a human, which is why humans are regarded as the race with the most potential. Basically, a tier 2 warrior like Nicholas is among the 20 strongest humans in all of history, with him at rank 11. He is currently the 4th strongest human alive. I say 4th and not 5th because Blitz isn''t human: he''s an artificial lifeform. Anyway, for each tier you ascend, you gain 100 years onto your life span, with becoming a tier 0 makes you immortal. Also, the top 5 tiers have huge differences in power, such as a single tier 4 being able to defeat 100 tier 5''s. Also, Blitz is currently a tier 1, almost tier 0, but due to his other 270 personalities being sealed, he is currently incapable of releasing his true power. Despite the fact that the sun hasn''t even fully risen yet, if one looked inside Superbia Academy, they would see students and teachers alike running around performing various tasks. This is due to one reason: it is the year 2147, and it is Superbia Academy''s turn to host the tournament among the 7 Schools of the 7 Deadly Sins: Gula, Superbia, Luxuria, Ira, Avaritia, Acedia, and Invidia. Each school is allowed to send up to 6 pairs of students as representatives, but the home academy which changes each year can send up to 12 pairs of students. This adds up to 48 pairs of students, and each round is fought 2 on 2. The winners proceed to the next rounds until there is only 1 pair left, and then the pair fight each other for first place. Johnny paired up with Lily and is currently in the training room with her in the process of, well, training! On the other hand, it''s more like a one-sided boot camp from hell... (Johnny) HEY!!! Johnny and Lily were both wearing their purple school uniforms to represent Superbia Academy. Johnny, with his white hair and red eyes, stuck out like a sore thumb due to the contrast with his uniform while Lily looked splendid. When the announcer gave the signal to start the fights, the first to strik was, surprisingly, Lily! (Lily) OOOORRRRRYYYAAAAAAA!!!!! After dashing forward with insane speed, she screams directly in the ear of one of the Acedia Students. The scream is amplified with Lily''s ability, Sound Manipulation, to make it a deadly, unstoppable attack! Immediately after the scream, Lily uses her ability to run at the speed of sound towards the opposite corner where the other opponenet was. Reaching her, Lily prepares to scream again. But, before she gets the chance, she is pushed with incredible force into the walls of the arena. Slowly standing up, she examines herself with her second ability, Touch Reader. To her displeasure, 3 ribs are cracked and 2 are broken. Violently coughing, Lily''s blood splatters on the ground. (Lily) Looking around, she notices that the boy she incapacitated is standing up, unharmed. (Lily) Johnny was doing just that, standing there with an indifferent look on his face. (Johnny) *sigh* While Johnny was marvelling at how slow the 2 of them were, he raised his hand which began to glow with a bright red light. (Johnny) BLOOD BURST!! The boy and girl suddenly exlode. The blood vessels in the boys and girls had suddenly multiplied at an incredible pace, causing their veins to burst, killing them both. There was so much blood that it was dripping down the sides of the barrier. When the barrier came down, the blood splattered everywhere. The barrier turned into a green light which healed Lily and reformed and resurrected the students from Acedia Academy. The spectators were in shock, and were shaking in fear of the little boy who killed his opponenets without hesitation or any effort whatsoever. Meanwhile, Johnny and Lily are walking off the elevated arena where they fought and went to the locker rooms, Johnny with the boys and Lily with the girls. ---Lily''s POV--- I am exhausted. Despite being healed, my body just didn''t want to move! I miss Johnny''s healing...he fixes everything, and even gives me energy. Well, time to go clean up in the locker room! The second I entered the locker room, all the girls inside went silent. Suddenly, they all shot towards me and began to speak non-stop! Gah! So many! It makes the previous silence seem like a lie! (Girl 1) How did you get so much stronger since last year! (Girl 2) Do you have more than 1 ability? (Girl 3) How old are you? (Girl 4) Where are you from? (Girl 5) What rank are you? Gaah!! Each circle glows with a green light, almost ready to activate. Suddenly, the 13th circle changes color and turns red. A blinding flash of red light illuminates the 13th room. (Mage 1) AAH! (Mage 2) So bright! Suddenly, before the mages regain their vision, they all hear an annoying voice chatting incessantly: it seems to be coming from the summoning circle! (Phantom) WOOOAAAAHHH!!! What I wanted to say is that the stats of the average human are 100 in all stats except Luck and Health. The average Luck stat is 10 and the average Health stat is 1,000. Also, Levels don''t alter one''s stats too much: they increase slightly per Level, but the amount varies from person to person and usually isn''t that much. People have to train the raise their stats efficently. Second: The Social Hierarchy of Races! What, you thought there wouldn''t be a hierarchy among the races?! No way, of course there is! Anyway, it goes something like this: (Lowest to Highest) Slaves and Monsters -> Demons -> Beastkin -> Humans -> Elves and Dwarves -> Draconians -> Dragons and Angels Humans are higher then Demons and Beastkin due to their insane numbers while Demons are the lowest sentient race due to having the lowest reproduction rate out of all the sentient races.
