《a new life》 I want to be strength Since this is my first story I am going to post 3 to 5 ch then see how much you guys like it and I will take any suggestions in to consideration. I probably wont make to many of these comments at the beginning of chapters of course that only applies if this continues i will put one up if i wont be able to post a chapter for a wile. So nothing else to tell you but enjoy! _________________________________________________________________________________________ There are many events that pass through this place that we live our lives, what i am going to tell you about is not one of them. This is all in my mind, but if what I will explain is true then it vary well might have happened or be happening as you reed this. It all started with a 15 year old boy that wished for adventure through unknown land¡¯s, and show his bravery to the ones he loved. His name is Isaac. With a weak body, but adventurous mind he wanted adventure. All though he could never have what he wanted even with a fit body. Because what he wanted was to explore land never seen and fight monsters. To not only save loved ones but to save the world, and this is how his dream came true. ¡°Isaac,¡± screamed a girl chasing down the frail boy, as he was almost whimpering as he tried to escape the girl. ¡°I¡¯m sorry I just did not know how to,¡± the girl chasing him was his sister making use of his weak frame and sickly body to make him do her work for her. She¡¯s getting closer, close enough to grab him, ¡°I almost failed because of you, brat!¡±Her twisted face screams at him, while she grabs the collar of his shirt. His horror stricken face looks at his sister¡¯s furry then almost as if he gave up he calmed down. ¡¯I have to stay calm or she¡¯l kill me, be brave Isaac then stay brave,¡¯ focusing on this thought he looked up at his sister then calmly told her, ¡°can you please let me go.¡± ¡°Let you,¡±she giggled, ¡°what.¡± ¡°I asked if you could let me go.. please,¡± Isaac said this with a voice so soft it could almost be called a whisper. His sister created a mischievous smile then leaned over to his ear and whispered, ¡°only if you promise to never let me down ever again and if you never run from me again.¡± She let go of him and backed her head away. Isaac¡¯s heart speed up to this because he has never broken a promise and dose not plan to. ¡®Stay strong stay brave I can always talk my way out of it¡¯ and with that he nodded. ¡°Good now I am going to go to my friends for a wile and... I think I will bring dad¡¯s liquor, it¡¯s not that good but it has a good kick.. oh if you tell dad about this you will regret it I guarantee that,¡±she says this while leaving the room a growing smile parting her face. Is strength all you want.¡± ¡®Strength isn¡¯t all I want but with strength everything else will be possible.¡¯ ¡°All right then I just have one test for you,.. shall we get started. All I need is help from a friend of mine.¡± ¡°What.. wait!¡± ¡°He should be hear soon.. in fact there he is.¡± ¡°Wait what strength!¡± screaming out of desperation loosing himself in the promise of the voice. CRAAAAACK the loud noise pulling Isaac back to reality makes him look at the wall that is starting to warp and disfigure in front of him. The loud noise persists as a large crack forms across the center of the wall. Isaac slowly to the only of the room, when the wall brakes down creating a thick wall of dust to block any view of what came in through the new opening. Waiting for something, anything Isaac stands at the entry way to the room in the new silence. A large shadow appears in the middle of the cloud, not moving it would send chills down anyone¡¯s spine. ¡°A..a..are you t..the friend he mentioned,¡± he stuttered staring at the figure in the dust. It moved, not a lot but enough to break the sheet rock under it causing the creature to to loose balance and fall. The mass seamed less intimidating by the moment. Isaac¡¯s muscle¡¯s relaxing at the seemingly clumsy beast. The large being was still visible, almost as a shadowy lump in the settling dust. BANG a loud noise and the shadow was gone, the newly disturbed dust now engulfing the room in a powdery flavor leaving no room for sight beyond a few feet. Hearing breaths from behind him Isaac¡¯s hairs stood on end turning to see the large mass of muscle standing right beside him. He no longer saw a clumsy beast but a terrifying monster standing right before his very eyes. Isaac thought nothing he just knew he couldn¡¯t run so he stood there as tears started to roll down his face. END OF CHAPTER 1 Questions Hello next chapter is hear and sorry about the last post it was my first but I fixed the spacing and the chapter titles will hopefully not have any more typos anyways hope you like this one and tips/ suggestions will still be considered. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isaac, standing before the heavy man his face wet with tears quietly asks, ¡°are you hear to kill me?¡± All Isaac gets in return is a long deep look from a bleared face he can not see. After a while the man adjusts his posture, in this time Isaac¡¯s tears dry and the man¡¯s face becomes clear. He has fairly long dark grey hair and a large mustache to match, with a dark shadow covering two deep blue eyes he looks like a viking. The rest of him is finely built muscle behind long cloths. But the last thing Isaac noticed was the man¡¯s hands they were large with two scars parallel across the back of his hands. After waiting for what seamed like forever Isaac decided to ask him, ¡°can you speak?¡± A large grin comes onto his face, ¡°can .. can I speak.. hahaha,¡± his laugh bellows through the room. ¡°If you can talk why did you not answer me.. that doesn¡¯t mater are you the voices friend then?¡± ¡°I can answer your question, but first tell me.. why did you not run?¡± ¡°You were so fast when you moved to where you are now I couldn¡¯t run if i wanted to, now my questions.¡± ¡°Well aren¡¯t you calm boy.. I did not answer you because I did not know wether I would kill you or not.. and being friends with a voice i do not know.¡± ¡°first of all I was not calm I nearly fainted from fear secondly the voice said his friend would be hear soon then you showed up so who else could you be.¡± ¡°Now that is not a very nice tone.. but you did well, you pass and as promised your strength.¡± As the last word was echoed through the house Isaac felt a pain in his chest. This pain grew and spread through his body. ¡° What is wrong my boy, what is wrong,¡± ¡°AAAAHHGAHGHHAAAAAAHHH,¡± through the intense pain he started to scream. This pain echos through every cell of his body fundamentally changing him. His agonizing screams reach every ear in the neiborhood, but it is not long until he passes out. I feel different, no I need to,¡¯, ¡°what happened.¡± His mother quickly acted to this and answered him, ¡°your in the hospital some crazy man broke through your bedroom wall.¡± ¡°No, what happened to the man that was with me.¡± Isaac interrupted. ¡°The police have him in custody they did this as soon as they got to the house so you don¡¯t have to worry about him attacking you any more.¡± ¡°Mom he didn¡¯t hurt me.¡± ¡°Like hell he did not hurt you that is crap and you know it.¡± ¡°Can I talk to him doctor?¡± He was watching the short argument from the doorway hoping to not get involved. ¡°I do not believe you are in any condition to move around but we can take you in a wheel chair and mis he has no injuries to say he was attacked by any one but his muscles are almost completely destroyed I don¡¯t know how it happened.¡± ¡°It has to be that man he was the only one there so he had to be the one to hurt my son.¡± ¡°Mother the doctor says that no one hurt him so can I leave now this hospital for some reason smells like old people.¡± ¡°Excuse me little girl I would like to get in to that room,¡± a deep voice says from behind the door. The massive man is standing right behind Isaac¡¯s sister showing his true stature, he seams to be almost eight feet tall making it impossible to enter without ducking. Without turning around she answers, ¡°wrong room we don¡¯t need a doctor and we do not have any more friends.¡± At this the behemoth crouches down to see into the room through the window. ¡°Hello boy are you felling better.¡± With a smile Isaac responds, ¡°yes.¡± Sorry I am sorry that I haven''t got a chapter out but my computer is dead and I will have to wright on my phone. So not too much longer and the next chapter will be out. "Mom he might know who hurt me he was there," Isaac''s calm voice incerted. Her face turned Crimson, "I''m sorry sir." "Well there is no problem mam and to answer you boy I know who did this but I do not know what happened, he said that he would give you streanth have you knowticed any difference in your phisical apeal or has it become easier to move." When the light subsided Isaac stood in the middle of a colosseum and as he glanced over the crowd a roar of thousands of people erupted from the surrounding seats. "Welcome to my arena Isaac as you can see your loved ones and the befriended giant are in the best sets in the house... right down there with you the rules are simple just protect there sleeping bodies from harm once that is done your family will go home and if you cant save them well... I think you know what will happen," Isaac looks behind him seeing the line of sleeping bodies. " Let''s have the crowd decide what beast you will face." "ABAWRATH-ABAWRATH-ABAWRATH," the crowd starts chanting like they are summoning a demon beast and this only kindles the fear growing in Isaac. ''If he did give me strength then I have to test it out get used to it,'' after his thought Isaac starts to jog around his family to his surprise, "AAAHHAAAHHHHHHH," he didn''t just jog he flew forward at an amazing speed. He fell and crashed rolling across the arena floor. " That ..Was ..AMAZING!" "And what you have chose is finally hear the... ABAWRATH!" The largest gate lining the arena drops down broken chains fall and laugh starts to echo through the arena. "Well can''t be more cleshe but still terrifying," getting up from his crashed position and started to go to the dark opening where the laugh originated from. A figure started to emerge with periodic clangs of mettle beating and scraping ageist mettle. "Stay there," the figure mumbled in delight and with a heave a spear 3 stories long rockets towards Isaac. At this moment time seamed to slow down for Isaac as impending death made him panic, all he thought was ''run.'' His heart speed up and arcs of lightning spread across his body and he jumped. Time returned to normal and the spear flew past his feet and into the ground behind him sending rocks and sand flying every ware. Now defenseless on his decent towards the armored giant Isaac''s moment of relief has returned to panic, ''calm down Isaac I need control.. ok I can doge the second attack if i can jump off the wall like in those anime.'' Now attempting to change his flight course closer to the wall the giant prepares his second weapon almost as big as the giant itself. The giant tries to pull his axe out of the wall only shaking the massive structure when Isaac launched at his head, with the impact right on the forehead came a sphere of arching electricity. And with that the armored giant fell. " YA WOOO" The crowd exploded with excitement and the arena shook under there voices. "STOOP!" the voice yelled and everything went silent " this is a battle is it not kill your opponent" In this new found silence Isaac now hear slow breathing of the giant he is standing on. "NO! I will not kill him!" "Are you trying to stay innocent or be noble because you can''t keep your innocence forever." "I would like to keep both intact but that has little to do with this." "I don''t break my promises so hear" And with his last word Isaac''s family disappears. "Thank you." Suddenly arms wrap around Isaac''s mouth and a dagger to his throat, "Don''t worry I''m hear to help" from her hand something enters his mouth and Isaac''s vision bleared then went black.
