On one side we have the pilot known as Red Saint from the Draxim Empire. On the other side we have the pilot from the Wuxiang Empire known as Summit. the speaker roared to be heard over the crowd Yeah go Summit show him who is the boss! Cover him in blood Red!, the cheers of the crowd was deafening. The citizens of both empires naturally wanted there champions to win the first tournament held between the Draxim and Wuxiang Empire. You should give up Red Saint you are 10 years too early to challenge me a titan covered in white scoffed Your blood will be on the floor by the time I win. was all the titan covered in entirely red said. Now gents you know the rules. The fight will end when the 3 minutes pass or when one of you forfeit. Killing or maiming an opponent results in an automatic forfeit of the battle, the judge calmly stated Hahahahaha. Your fangs just got removed Red Saint laughed the titan in white known as Summit. the red titan, Red Saint, just summoned his weapons of choice, two katanas. Yes Fight! the judge jumping quickly out of the arena Fight! roared the spectators *Boom* *Boom* (the two titans rushed at each other after acting their jet propulsions) *In the flurry of the blows delivered by both sides small cracks started appearing on the walls of the arena* Hiya! two katanas came crushing down on the shield of Summit, crushing the shield arm. "You bastard!" Summit unleashed a deadly undercut at the Red Saint cutting his arm from the socket. "One of us will not be standing after today," sneered Summit That will be you, Red Saint quietly said --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A boy with golden eyes look with excitement at the match between Red Saint and Summit. His eyes portrayed the excitement he had to be able to pilot a Titan and fight for fame and glory. He wanted to be in that arena representing his country. He wanted to bring glory to his family. Golden eyes befitting a god was given to this child. His future achievements unbounded. His journey was about to start... 绁炵溂 (Gods eye) chapter 1 This is my first time writing a story ever. The updates on this for the first 10 chapters will be as soon as i get everything edited (which i do by myself or my friend).I feel like my imagination on this story will take my character far and wide just like space. I appreciate any advice from anyone whether bad or good. Just know I plan to write this story till it reaches its end no matter how long the road is. For the babys eyes were not the color that could be found in the human race; it wasnt blue, brown, or green. Neither was it red, which all citizens under the Draxim Empire had, no it was tinted with the color of pure gold. In the beginning the Wuxiang Empire were far behind the Draxim Empire in terms of technology *flip* However, as the war progressed the Wuxiang Empire was able to catch up to the Draxim Empire in technology due to the sheer amount of space ships the Wuxiang Empire had prior to catching up *flip* As the war approached its 40th year both sides have lost all of their military might save its men and their space cruisers. *flip* Both empires respectfully stop using spaceships when the war entered its 41st year. Instead both sides agreed instead to host a tournament every year (during the summer) and have pilots with their Titans (huge manned robots capable of fighting in outer space) to do all the talking and fighting. *flip* Ironically the war eventually ended when it reached its 42nd year point. With the deal that any further disagreement be settle in the tournament at the beginning of each year. *flip* The Tournament soon became a place where pilots can showcase their skills and claim bragging rights. The Tournaments also had its incentives by giving rewards that could make people die for. Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.*flip* After the Tournament was created both the Draxim and Wuxiang Empire decided that in order to improve relations and military might they will create an university where youths learn and train in operating Titans. Anyone with the qualifications to enter the university regardless of which empire they belong to. The university was agree to be on the earth like planet that was located between both empires on the planet labeled as GD-312. *close* Li Tian Weng come here! Coming mother! The 4 year old Tian Weng waddled to his moms outstretch arms after dropping the book he was reading. Oh my. You are getting bigger and bigger Tian Tian. Say hi to your uncle, Liu Xin. Hello uncle Liu Xin as Tian Weng gazed at this mans chest which had on a standard military uniform with a eagle insignia representing that they had a rank of colonel. Tian Weng took a good look at his Uncless face, which had a military style haircut, neatly trimmed facial hair, and kind eyes, which were currently staring warmly at his nephew. How old are you this year Tian Weng? I am currently 4 this year, uncle. Uncle.. Uncle can I ask you a question? Sure A-Are you umm in the m-military? And! Are you a pilot? Do you fly a Titan?! You must first know what titans are. Well do you know what titans are? asked Liu Xin. Titans are robots that are piloted by pilots that carry weapons and go to battle with other robots. Also theyre able to fight in space with thrusters! They are so cool uncle!! Tian Weng quickly replied. Tian Tian titans arent just robots that have the capability to fight on ground or even in space. No, a titan is your dearest companion. If you take care of it it will also take care of you. Do you understand Tian Tian? This is the golden rule that every pilot must store in their hearts. Titans are your equals and you will treat it like you will treat yourself. Liu Xin reprimanded. Im sorry uncle. I will remember that. Tian Weng hugged his mothers neck in order to cover his shame of thinking that titans are just toys. Good. Li Xin. Has Li Wei never taught his son anything regrading titans or even martial arts? Liu Xin looked at Li Yan with confused eyes. We plan to train him after his 5th birthday in 6 months. smiled Li Yan while giving Tian Weng a kiss on his forehead. Ahh. I see. I will not teach him anything regrading fighting but I will show him what a titan is. Liu Xin grinned. Tian Tian do you want to meet my titan? Liu Xin said after walking a good distance away. Of course uncle. But.. arent titans kept in hangers until they are needed? Tian Weng asked after breaking off from his hug with his mother. Hahaha. NO! Of course not. Titans arent what you read in comic books Tian Tian. Titans choose their pilots. A titan can only be used by one pilot at all times. If a titians pilot dies the titan will automatically know and at the same time it will be allowed to choose its next pilot. Also titans do not need to be kept in a hanger. Do you know why Tian Tian? Thats how a titan will know if its pilot has died or not. This is also another reason why a titan does not need to be in a hanger. When the titan is called upon when the pilot has their titan weapon or weapons on them, the titan and the pilot will appear as one. Since they are blood-linked they can be fused to become one. Like how if you have two droplets of water and when you push the two droplets of water together they make one big droplet. That is similar to what happens when a pilot calls his titan. Liu Xin mentioned as he looked around to see if the area is big enough to summon his titan without breaking anything. Li Yan. Your front yard is indeed big enough to call out my titan. laughed Liu Xin Li Yan just smiled while all Tian Weng heard was call out my titan. Tian Weng a picture speaks a thousand words. So I will spare myself from talking too much and instead show you what happens when a pilot calls out their titan. Liu Xin smiled while bring out his titan weapon, a claymore. How?! Where did that weapon come from? Both Li Xin and Tian Weng both examined with wide eyes. Hehe antics that are given to high ranked officers. It sometimes come in handy. Liu Xin replied with a wide smile. While holding his right hand in front of Li Yan and Tian Weng to show a ring decorated with tiny diamond shaped emeralds. Tian Wang looked at this titan and first thing he notice was on top of the titans head was a crown! Chapter 4: Titans Part I Sorry for the rather short but informative chapter. This chapter was actually extremely hard to write as i needed to explain a lot. My Internet wasn''t a big help too as it crashed right in the middle of my train of thoughts. This chapter will be split into parts. Oh yes since i decide to make the chapters almost twice as long as the first few chapters i will be posting every two days or maybe three depending on my schedule. Tian Weng asked after staring at the dark blue uniform littered with badges and medals fitted with a dark blue dress pants and a gold-white cape with the symbol of the Wuxiang Empire (it had earth in the middle with billions of bright stars surrounding it). Equipping clothes on a titan is only reserved for military purposes. If you join the military you will be taught how to equip clothes on your titan. How do I look though Tian Tian? a voice emitted out of the titan piloted by Liu Xin. You look like what a leader should look like, uncle. Tian Weng blinked in surprise from realizing that the titan was a towering height of 20 feet (or simply two stories tall). Uncle are all titans this tall?! Yes. All regular titans are of similar height. The exceptions are the fabled titans who are ranked at the legendary rank: Excalibur (sword), Seven-Branched Sword (sword), Brionac (spear), Frost Fair Blade (Guandao), and Aegis (sheild). **If you do not get why titans are listed as weapons I highly suggest you to read chapter 3 before continuing** These are the known legendary ranked titans recorded in history. Then there are the mythical titans which are shrouded in mystery, for they have only been glimpsed at when people were in the process of obtaining a titan. As Liu Xin returned back to a human. There are only two legendary ranked titan pilots alive. Our empire, the Wuxiang Empire, has the Frost Fair Blade belonging to our empress, Empress Mei Wuxiang. While the Draxim Empire has the Seven-Branched Sword belonging to their king, King Daid Draxim. As for mythical level titans, like your uncle said, is shrouded in mystery as there have been no one who have been able to summon it. Li Yan said stroking Tian Wengs hair. Mom what do you mean by summon? Are titans not from this world? questioned Tian Weng. We do not know where titans are from or how they are created. One day we found out about them when the Wuxiang Empire dug out a gray sphere from the ruins of a long lost civilization. When the researcher who dug out this gray sphere touched the surface with his hands the sphere started glowing and with it the first titan known to Wuxiang Empire came out. The Draxim Empire also has a similar gray sphere. From what research we have done we found out that the gray spheres both act as a medium for the titans to come out. Li Yan said as she pulled Tian Wengs hand to a nearby stone table. Come Liu Xin. Sit. Could there be other such spheres out there? Tian Weng asked as he plopped himself onto a stone seat. chapter 4: Titans Part II Again it is short... :( Still getting used to juggling school and writing. Li Yan then glared at Liu XIn When you turn nine we have decided to have you take a test that is for future pilots. However, you should know, that test has a 50/50 chance of you dieing. The test puts its participants in the wild and makes them survive for one year without any help other than yourself or whomever you befriend.
