 Prologue:New Beginning

    "Fuck you asshole!"shouts a male voice from inside a car.


    Within the car sits a visibly annoyed young man who our story is about to start off on.This man name is John Thompson,there is nothing incredibly unique about


    him.Currently he is rushing his way through town in a hurry to make it to work without being late for a new job.As he rush through the door John hears the bell go off signalling the start of the shift as he runs to time clock. Bearly making it,he clocks in and gets to work.


    "Finally!"exclaims John as he rush out door and through parking lot.He make it home and drags himself through his front door before collapsing on couch groaning.As he sit there changing out his work clothes , he flips the tv on.


    "Today the high was......" flipping channels for something watch,John heads to kitchen.


    He quickly throws together a quick meal before heading back in living room and lounging on couch.He continues to flip through channels before throw remote down and


    grabbing his laptop.Quickly pulling up his browser, he types in "Light novel translation" and hit search.John is fan of several light novel and webnovel that are online.Scanning the result he see new page that he hasn''t saw before,he continue reading description.

    "Guess this some interactive story" Thinking himself as he click yes.John quickly realize entire room blackens and he appear in middle of field.


    Looking around his surroundings John is at loss for words.He was just sitting on his couch ,browsing for new webnovel read and now....he loss?Before John can continue to panic he hears sound coming from nearby treeline.Looking at treeline,there appears to be 3 or 4 large canine animals creeping out.Upon closer looking He can see they are definitely not dog and probably wolf or coyote given his new surrounding. Panicking very quickly,he make a B-Line for  nearby tree before rushing up.Panting John looks down at wolfs that didn''t miss a beat and were already gnarling at tree.


    "ahahaha" Johns timidly laughs as he look below a blood thirsty animals.


    John inchs back on one of thicker branch before arranging himself comfortably.Try to cope with new situation,he still cant make sense what happen yet.Thinking of any type of explanation that would explain how this all happend,drawing blank he continue sit there.Hour later,John still siting up in tree and the stubborn wolfs still lurking below.His morale dropping as minutes go on with no hoping of anyone coming along,his mind wonders.He starts to think wouldnt be crazy if this just like one those stupid novels he constantly reading where the MC is took from his world by summoning ,reincarnation and other "Methods".While  amusing himself with his little though John casually think if only something as simply as status window or message from god would appear maybe he would be slightly relieved.

    Staring at information in front of his face,John doesn''t know whether to be excited or depressed.Excited because apparently this is just like his imagination thought or because this was just like his imagination.Staring for moment he starts to examine the window more clearly.New pops up appear giving him details on the information in front him.

    Looking at the choices in front him he picks "Warrior rush pack".Flash of light appears as he looking at his inventory screen,newb package is gone and several new items appear in it pack.Sword,Basic Arm Guard, Basic Leg Guard, Basic Legging, Basic shirt, and few vials of different potions appear in the nearly full inventory now.Glancing at potions he grows excited even more,basic health potion(50)x10,Basic Mana Potion(25)x10,Combat Potion,and Experience Increase Potion(24hr).This was probably going be most exciting and terrifying experience of Johns life and he couldn''t wait.Glancing at equipment,he quickly thought "Equip" and Basic Set automatically  light up and appear on his body and replacing 4 slot was just 1 slot took up by his Old lazy cloths that this world so elegantly stated as "Rags".

    Looking down from the tree John is meet with vicious stare from below.Their stares locked and  they stay frozen like till one them made move.John made choice quickly,if he stay in that tree any long he probably never have courage to move forward.Drinking the Experience Potion and jump straight for the wolf,such


    straight forward move obliviously was going fail.Wolf  quickly leapt back to avoid John attempt to impale the wolf.As John is recomposing himself after his failed lunge,the Wolf quickly make his own attempt.Lunging at John with his fangs approaching quickly, he is left with only 2 options try to dodge or block the wolf.Without much thought He steps forward with his sword in hand swing the blade towards it mouth,grabbing otherside quickly to brace himself they clash.


    They tustle and turn on ground as Wolf is snarling as John blade is lodged between it open mouth and Himself.Wolf angrily try to shake and throw blade off,failing to wrestle blade away it jumps back.As wolf circles John,he feels  something on his arm.He realize the between his leap of faith and his o so brilliant block hasn''t been unscathed.Impression of the sword is cut lightly into John free hand and scratch riddle his body from his fall.

    Status:Light bleeding lose 25hp over 15mins,can worse if not treated soon


    As Wolf continues to circle his prey waiting for his kill chance.John equally stares the wolf down looking for a chance to attack.This western showdown doesn''t last for long as Wolf start it sprint toward John, and John decide to meet the threat head on.Running towards his target, at last moment John decided to fall ground and slide.Wolf unprepared for sudden change is still headed forward, John Slash his blade towards wolf side.As blade cuts through wolf, blood is pouring out from it wound.John quickly recovers himself and stand up to face heavily panting Wolf, Wolf realizing it''s serious wound attempt to turn tail and run.Seeing the wolf start to change direction and run,John give chase.


    As John runs after the Wolf he realize he running much faster then he ever remembers,guess the stats aren''t a joke.After minute or so He catches up to Wolf, seeing it prey again wolf knows there only one choice.Turning around and lunging at it''s pursuer.Knowing that most dangerous thing is corner animal,John was already prepared for wolf to turn any moment.Having been waiting for this chance John continues forward blade in hand as he thrust it toward Wolf open mouth.

    Status update:upgrade light bleeding to bleed lose 150hp over 15mins. Heavy injury,if not treat sudden will worse to heavy bleeding 1000/15mins Time Remaining

    John bears through the pain and hold his arm steady as blade pierce through wolf mouth and head coming partially out back.Wolfs fangs having cut his arms pretty good John holds for sec, seeing that wolf isn''t clamping down he pulls back.

    Staring at wolfs corpse in amazement John is speechless.He can''t believe he just killed a wolf with only sword.Just yesterday if you told him to kill wolf with sword only he would laugh and say that was suicidal. Maybe it was still little suicide looking at his status he see he has about 280/800 left.Still he ether going starve death in tree or fall out sleep and then be ate while unconscious. Thinking to himself,John pulls out few health potions and drinks 4 them.

    Thinking to himself,John eyes wolf look at beast in marvel once again.How could he normal person ever kill something as tough as wolf with simply sword.If he was some expert from military or person fancied with martial art maybe but just normal person.As he stares at corpse all sudden John see new window appears.

    Who would think that defeating a singe "wolf" in this world would get someone to lvl 3.Just what is consider high level in this world,what level would expert from his world be like if someone kill wolf could be lvl 3 just from 1 kill.How strong were mercenaries or soldiers in the army be then,or even assassin and other darker parts of the world.This scary realization made John come to conclusion he need gain his balance and get stronger asap.1 wolf nearly kill him and used up nearly half his potions,that just to help.Full recovery was still roughly around hour away and just imagine if he hurt with something like heavy bleeding.John start to observe his surround to make sure he was alone and safe.


    Realizing that he need get somewhere safe, he looked around area.Walking around area he came back to blood stain forest floor,realizing just woods around and seemingly nowhere to really go.John sits down for sec,thinking to himself for second.He calms and self and get up to leave this part of wood,stay in area with bunch wolf blood can''t be safe for to long.Something was bound to come, so John decide best to risk it and walked away deeper into the unknown.After about 45mins his health was pretty much full, John not knowing where else go climbs a tree again.After reach few yards off ground he get his balance before leaning back and resting.After what seem like minute John wakes up to see sun is in peak of the sky,realizing it been few hours at-least he get down.


    After walking around for few minutes John see something in distance.Looking closer a window pops up.

    "GOBLINS!,it a Goblin....this is so awesome." he shouts again to no one,unable to keep his excitement about this real-life game.


    Looking around where he spotted goblin,he notice soon another appears.Within few minutes he counts about 10-11 of them.They all were lvl 6 and weren''t carry anything but a large branch.Looking at it is laughable 1-2 damage ,his sword did 5-10.After moment he realize that wolf had be stronger then goblin by itself and he beat it with largely 1 slash and piecing it head.Still his sword only do 6-13 it could kill something in 2 moves,who to say if they swing branch can''t make status similar to bleed.Thinking for sec He realize that 5-6 Branches hitting him in head could break his neck,dislocate shoulder blade, or any other number of broken and smashed body parts.He shouldn''t underestimate these lil ugly thing just because it  has such low hp and carry a stick pretty much.Hell maybe 160hp wasn''t low he only had 200 at lvl 1,if wasn''t for this equipment.Realizing he need re-judge himself he calms down, he watch goblin from distance.


    After study them for what feel like all day,probably really few hours at most.John has made few finds about his lil prey.They don''t seem be fastest things in the world,they move like they have chains around there feet.Also they seem get startle at any strange sounds rushing to attack it,even if it another goblin.2 other goblins wander into the group and were promptly beat into mush  by 11 other Goblin as they exit bush.Sure that is was because of sound not territorial thing because they did same thing to several rabbits,squirrels and attempt to smash the birds.Thinking back to his fight with wolf,John was sure he out run any of goblins and could definitely block their attacks without issue.Just shear number of them and his lone self to fight the small horde.


    He prepare himself as he get closer,picking up few stones along way.Johns plan is simple,throw few stone all over  making all sorts sound before rushing out and going for throat slash on all the lil suckers.Resolving himself few feet from them,John grabs the handful rocks in each hand.Throwing the 2 handful of rock into


    air in separate direction as high he could, John waits.Soon he hear thud of rocks hitting the trees and ground,peeking out he see goblins all scatter around looking for the cause of sound in every direction it appear.Rushing out from his spot he quickly cover few feet before reaching first goblin.


    The goblin turns to sound it heard,seeing a strange thing running at with sword the goblin charges forward.They clash, John swing his sword hard he could toward branch,never practicing anything close swordsmanship it all he could do.Lucky he only up against thick branch of wood,it cleanly cut it before landing on goblin body.

    -Serious Bleeding(Large):Serious bleeding wound,damage increase for wound be large 20,000hp/15mins(22/s)


    Within seconds of the attack goblin is dead.It''s war cries and death throw drawing attention of others,they are rushing over as fast they could.Not wasting any time, John run toward nearest repeat his previous actions.Not giving himself time to breathe,because he know he can''t be surround.Few hit from branches he be down on the ground,and these goblins don''t no restrain to stop.They would continue to wail on him till he was human mashed-taters.Quickly the goblins are thin out within minutes,hit and run tactics working great.If they had something more sturdy the piece wood doubt, it would work.After the fight is over,John goes around collects the loot he wants before setting off into distance to his next tree house.
