The incident... It was... Bloody. Our hero Arita was the sole survivor of that incident. He lost his family. The funds his family had will keep him in the hospital for the rest of his life because he can only move his head. Every time somebody mentions the incident... Arita goes into a fit. He recalls the fire... The horror of seeing his mother on the floor of the train. (It was a train collision incident) A pipe through her stomach. Her guts everywhere... And when he looked behind him. He only saw... His father. His father was hit by millions of shards protecting him from the broken glass. He was almost dead... He told Arita: "Live on, My son" before fainting ontop of Arita. His Sister protected Arita''s head... She already died due to a chair hitting her.
Ontop of Arita''s hands there were... Pipes and chairs... Humans... On that incident atleast a hundred people died... Arita. Survived. When Arita was allowed to have visitors. Nobody visited him. The incident happened 13 years before he got the VR set. When he was 5 years old. Even though Arita''s 18.. He looks like he is 13. When he got the VR set he was excited... He knew he was going to have the power to move again... He was going to regain... His attached but not working limbs were going to work... Afture 13 years...

Our hero, Arita, entered the game "Luminate Online"
What he saw there... Was a bustling city. Not a small starter town like he expected. A bustling city with NPC''s acting like real humans... Well the owner of "Luminate" said that this game was 100% like reality. Even the pain. But Arita noticed something. He was floating in the sky. He panicked until a goddess descended.
The goddess looked like a true goddess. Her beauty was unparalleled.
The Goddess asked Arita:
"Arita, the first player, what race do you wish to be?"
Arita answered to the goddess:
"I want to be... A human."
Goddess:
"Affirmative. I was only brought here to introduce this world to you. Your class will be decided by the system. Because you are the first player and have certain... Circumstances. You will get a special class.
First of all. This world Lumina has a few... Problems. We didn''t call you heroes and adventurers for no reason. The problem in this world is the wars. Not between demon and human. Between countries our NPC characters you would call them have set up.
This world has it''s own mind so it will advance as your story progresses. You heroes will fight for a country or not. You can hunt monsters and live a life full of thrill hunting them. Or become a feared warmongerer in the fields of battle. Upcourse there is always the way of the crafts.
I should first introduce you to the city you will be starting in. "Aurora". Aurora has the biggest population and a lot of races mixed in. There are elves, dwarves, ogres, orcs, trolls and other races mixed in. There are conflicts but Aurora mostly is a peaceful city.
The most conflicted place in the whole continent is the battle zone. The battle zone is where the wars are held at. There are two rules in this world. For some peace.
The first rule is - Only do large-scale battles in the Battle Zone.
Second rule - Do not hurt people within safe zones aka towns and cities.
There are other rules too upcourse. But these are the rules set by us gods. These cannot be broken and if they are. We will send angels to come and punish the rule-breaker or breakers.
Arita. What do you wish to be called in Lumina? We gods know your name because our creator programmed your name into us. We know each of the first people to recieve the VR gear."
Arita: "I wish to be known as Arita in the world of Lumina."
Goddess: "Affirmative. You will now be transported to the land of Lumina. Be safe. Arita."
Arita: "I will goddess."
Arita is sent hurling towards the ground by the goddess. When he lands he is surprised. He didn''t take fall damage. Not even 1 HP.
He opened his stats.

Arita opens the class details.
"Class - Caretaker.
Details- The caretaker is a one of a kind class. It is given to the person favored by the gods. This skill has one restriction and can do anything. The restriction is the time what it takes to level up is amplified."
Arita: "Hmm... So... I''m happy I got such an unique class... But it doesn''t give any stat boosts yet. I wonder if it will. Well I have no restrictions on using weapons or anything. But I don''t like the amplified time to level up... It doesn''t tell me how long it takes. Well.. I''ll first learn some crafting. It''s useful to be able to cook, use alchemy, repair weapons and make new armor."
As our hero Arita adventures around he gets lost. He gets lost VERY fast.
Arita asks the first stranger he sees: "I''m sorry Sir... Where is the crafting alley?"
Stranger: "You are in the alley already my boy! I''m the smith!"
Arita: "Thank you for telling me! I came here to find new skills to help me!"
Stranger: "I will teach you the neccesary skills. But are you ready?"
Arita: "I believe I am!"
Stranger: "Such... Determination. I like you kid!"
A message popped up. "Relations with the smith and your reputation in the crafting alley has gone up."
Stranger: "I''m Eric. Eric the smith. You should first rest your body before trying the smithing skills. The gods told us to let the adventurers rest one day before teaching them. Something about magic going to take effect soon afture being teleported here."
Eric said that too late.. Arita was already fast asleep due to magic exhaustion.
Eric: "Oh dear. He already fainted. I''ll let him rest here. He probably doesn''t even have a place to sleep."
Eric put Arita on a spare bed he had and then went back to smithing. Arita slept as a rock for the rest of the day and night.
Arita only woke up in the morning at 10 o''clock.
When he went downstairs he was ready to begin smithing.
His second day in Lumina has begun. And he already is trying to learn a skill.
Arita is progressing fast and because he is the first he is the first to learn skills.

Training. The fight... Starts and ends.
Our hero, Arita, has just begun striking the anvil. Why is he doing that? Because Eric asked him to do it. He wanted to see how much and for how long he can hit the anvil for.
Arita... He isn''t going to give up soon. He sees his Stamina bar drop fast but that doesn''t stop him. He decided to get atleast 100 hits in on the anvil.
Before he could finish his 20th he was already tired.
Eric: "Oi Arita. You look tired. Take a break for a little."
Arita: "No thanks... I''ll keep going.."
Arita keeps hitting the anvil. Due to the stamina bar running out his HP bar is now dimishing. But not as fast. 5 HP out of his 100 drops every hit. By the time he gets half-way done to his goal... His HP is low...
When your HP is low wounds open automatically on your body... Now... Arita''s body was wounded like he was shredded by a bear.
Blood coming out of every possible spot. But Arita... He isn''t going to give up until his last 5 hp. Eric looks at Arita impressed. He has never seen such spirit.
When Arita gets 55 hits... His HP is too low. 5 hp is left. He can''t hit anymore. Eric stops him.
Due to being so stubborn he gets a skill
"Iron Will"
This means Arita will never give up. Eric is impressed. A pop-up appears.
"Due to the player hitting the Anvil for a long time he gets the skill Smithing."
Arita finally got the skill he wanted. Smithing. Eric sees the bloody Arita and decides to send him to the potionist. Upcourse he goes with Arita. The potion maker named Cawer freaks out due to seeing Arita bleeding, A LOT. Eric explains what happened.
It wasn''t even day time before Arita collapsed due to low HP... Arita didn''t know what "overworking" meant because he was confined to his bed for his entire life basically. Cawer gives Arita a health potion and lets him rest on a bed. He decides to give Arita lessons about alchemy and potion making too due to seeing him in this state and knowing he has an Iron Will.
Another pop-up appears before the collapsed Arita.
"Reputation in the Crafting Alley has gone up by 5 points. 95 remaining till maximum."
Due to Arita being the first player to get Smithing and Iron Will that pop-up popped up. It wasn''t until later that other players joined. The other players came at 16:00. The time the game OFFICIALY was released. Arita got in first because of his... Circumstances...
The reason why Arita was on that train was because of the creators of "Luminate Online". His father wanted to work for the company and because of that they were in that mess. So they thought that was the least they could do to Arita.
Arita woke up at 14:30. Arita worked on alchemy for the next 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Cawer: "Oi Arita! You messed up the order again! Put the herbs before the mushrooms!"
Arita: "Oops! I''ll do it correctly this time, sir Cawer!
Cawer: "Don''t worry little boy. I''ll shape you up to become an alchemist and potion maker."
Arita: "Thank you, sir Cawer!"
Cawer: "You are too honest Arita... The world will take advantage of you this way."
Arita: "Don''t worry about that!"
Cawer: "Well... Maybe you will take advantage of the world. Caretaker."
Everybody knew the class Arita had. The caretaker. The caretaker "Took care" of the world.
It was announced that at 16:00 an opening party will be held. And at 20:00 the first weekly boss will be summoned.
Weekly bosses were strong usually but because it was summoned so early it was weak. It still looked strong to the new players though. It''s stats were higher.
Arita worked at the Smith and at the Potion Maker for the rest of the 3 hours. When the clock hit 19:00 he went out to the fields to get his first kill.
Due to working at the smith and Potion maker his stats Increased.
He opened his status to check his stats before heading out.

Class - Caretaker.
His stats increased by 3-10 points. It was a huge change for him. But for the people who hunted for 4 hours straight... Those stats were nothing. You gained more stats from leveling. It was hard for Arita because of his Class.
When he met a rabbit he easily snapped it''s neck. He also got a sword from Eric the smith. It was an old iron sword. Didn''t have a lot of damage. Only 2-3. Rabbits had 2 health. Wolves 3 HP. Imps 6 HP.
He easily killed rabbits and wolves. The Imps... Posed a small threat. They usually hunted in groups. Wolves didn''t but there were some packs of wolves.
When he met the first group of Imps. They consisted of 10 people. He ran. And ran. But the Imps were as agile as him. He was unable to outrun them until a person with the special class "Swordshero" came through and killed them. Swordshero had a huge strength boost at the start. Agility was only 2 though. Moved very slow.

When he came ended his hunt of 1 hour he killed:
10 rabbits.
5 wolves
3 Imps.
He got 10 rabbit hide, 5 wolf hide and only 1 imp hide. Then it was time for the... Boss fight.
All players were teleported to the boss room and the things they were doing were put on pause.
When they entered the boss mob appeared. He opened the status window for the boss.
Name: Pumpkin King
Strength - 100
Agility - 100
Vitality - 100
Magic - 100
Dexterity - 100
Charisma - 100
The Pumpkin King. A weekly boss. The weakest one of them though.
Most people were ready for this. Even Arita. Now... The Pumpkin King screams. It shocks half of the players and they become unable to move. Arita was on the people who could move. They charged at the pumpkin king. They get hits in. The pumpkin king had 100 vitality aka 1000 health. Arita needed to hit him atleast... 70 times. But he had assistance. There were shield users at the front. Then swords and spear users right behind them striking at the boss. At the back of the monsters there were dagger users.
Behind the 2 front lines there were Magic and Bow class users. Also people using throwing weapons.
Arita... Was not in any line. He was jumping around the boss and striking him. He was the attention of the boss mob due to being the most annoying and doing the most damage to the boss mob because the others could only attack the boss mob when he wasn''t hitting them.
Arita did 350 damage to the boss mob alone. When he did 350 damage he was... Hit. The boss mob had gotten a hold of him and smashed him into the wall.
The boss mob looked like a pumpkin what had arms and legs. The arms held a huge club.
Arita lost almost all of his HP. He had 1 HP left. A healer rushed to him. Healers were usually girls due to men wanting to do the offense. But... There was a problem. The boss mob was focused on Arita. When the healer healed Arita to full health... He was hit again. That repeated many times. Arita was bloodied and then healed. Then bloodied again.
In the end the healer gave up. Wasted too much MP. Arita had... 25 health. He had only 75% of the wounds he had when he had 1-5 HP.
Aka the only part not wounded was his arm what held his sword... Lucky him. He could strike at full strength once.
Due to hitting the boss mob so much the boss mob had only 10 HP left.
The pumpkin king looked like the Tomato King. He had only 1 arm left and what held the club. The Pumpkin what was around the core of the boss was cracked. Arita took that change and hit the Pumpkin open and smashed the core. Ending the bosses life. Due to him getting the first and last hit.. He got the special reward. A pop-up appeared infront of everyone.
This pop-up appeared infront of Arita.
"Defeated the weekly boss. Due to being the most active player you get the Special Reward.
You get 500 XP. You only need 100 XP more to level up to level 2. Due to being the Caretaker you get an extra item."
Another Pop-up appeared.
"Awarded Special Reward - Enchanted Light Armor."
And another one.
"Extra Item from class - Pumpkin King''s Core"
The first weekly boss was defeated. And Arita... Was surprised. Due to having the core of the pumpkin king he could summon monsters what the Pumpkin King usually would''ve. Aka smaller pumpkins with axes.
He equipped the Enchanted Light Armor. His stats increased a little too.

Agility - 20
Vitality - 40
Magic - 35
Dexterity - 50
Charisma - 15
Class - Caretaker.
His charisma didn''t increase because he didn''t communicate with his allies. Arita walked out victoriously.
Another pop-up appeared.
"Reputation increased in Lumina by 15. Current reputation in Lumina is 15. In the Crafters Alley it is 20."
Thus ended Arita''s day. He grew... A LOT. Still didn''t level up though. What will he do tomorrow?

First Antagonist. First Player Friend. Aritas Big Challenge.
Arita... Our hero, who killed the Pumpkin King last time... Is now doing what he wants to do.
Aka looking at the scenery.
He doesn''t know what to do... There''s time till the next boss. So should he train? But which skills?
Arita decides to go back to the Smith. Gain more strength and precision.
But when he goes there he meets the person who saved him.
The swords hero was well... A swordsman. Had a big blade on his back and he had medium armor. He had short golden hair, green eyes. The swordshero was... Medium height. About 180 cm''s aka 1 meter and 80 centimeters.
The swordshero was arguing with Eric the smith.
Eric stood tall as he was 2 meters and 20 centimeters. He had smith''s clothing on. Eric had blue eyes and brown hair. His hair was a little bit dark-brown though.
They were arguing about a sword.
The sword was Eric''s masterpiece. He wanted to give it to somebody Arita heard. When he approached Eric looked really happy and approached him.
Eric: "This is the boy whose sword it is! Not your sword Jav!"
Jav aka the swordshero: "It''s mine because I want it! I want the sword and I will get this sword!"
Eric: "No point in arguing! It''s this boys sword and you can''t do anything about it! Just bugger off will ya!"
Arita: "Umm... Eric...?"
Eric: "Don''t worry Arita. This swordshero named Jav wanted your sword. I put my whole heart to making it and he saw me create it and immediatly wanted it. Damn arrogant people who get a special class. Luckily you aren''t like that."
Jav: "So it''s this boy huh! He doesn''t seem worthy enough for a masterpiece! Give it to me now boy!"
Arita: "I will not!"
Arita (to himself): "This must be the skill Iron Will... I usually wouldn''t talk back to people..."
Arita opens the Iron Will skill window to see more about it.
Iron Will - The player who gets this skill will have the power to resist any mental attack. His mind is as solid as metal. This can change into higher forms because there are people who only have mental attacks. For example the class: Politician. This skill also activates when the user wants it to. It doesn''t allow the user to give up until he knows he has no chance.
Arita was glad he got this skill because otherwise he would have had to give the sword to the arrogant swordshero.
Jav: "Damn brat! Duel me!"
Arita: "Ok. In a weeks time though!"
Jav: "Fine with me! I have time! The duel will be at 17:00 a week from now! The day afture the weekly boss fight!"
Arita: "Fine with me you arrogant bastard."
Jav walks off enraged. Suddenly the healer who was in the boss fight healing Arita comes closer. It was a woman with who was very short.
She was only 1 meter and 50 centimeters tall. She had long silver hair and elf ears.
Healer: "Umm... Hello... I''m Janitha... I''m very sorry about my brother Jav... Ever since he got that special class he became arrogant thinking he was better than everyone..."
Arita: "No problem Jantha."
Eric: "It''s only annoying to argue with a brat. It doesn''t do anything else though Janitha!"
Janitha: "I''m glad... But... I''m very sorry!"
Janitha bows down to apologize.
Arita: "Raise your head Janitha. It''s no big deal. I''ll just get a new stepping stone."
Janitha: "Ok... Well I''ll be on my way."
Janitha leaves, Arita and Eric begin discussing things about the sword.
Eric: "So... We obviously can''t use the sword in the fight because it is the prize."
Arita: "But this sword is on the edge of breaking."
Eric: "Let''s see... Maybe you can make a new one?"
Arita: "Can I really? My smithing is only level 1..."
Eric: "It doesn''t matter. It''s still better than this old one."
Arita: "True... Let me try."
Eric prepeares the smithing gear and things for him.
Arita: "Thanks.."
Eric: "No problem! You are my student afture all!"
Arita: "I''ll begin working!"
Arita begins striking the iron to make it into a sword. The Smithing skill works like this: You imagine the weapon you want in your mind while you strike the iron or other material and then when you''ve hit it enough it will form.
Afture the tenth hit the sword begins to form.
The fifteenth hit made the hilt.
The 20''th hit made the sword fully form.
A pop-up appeared.
Arita made his first sword. The sword will be better than usual due to beginners luck. The name of the sword is "Iron Sword"
Arita closed the pop-up. But another one appeared.
Smithing skill increased to two level two.
Arita jumped up as he made his first sword AND got his smithing skill to level two.
Arita worked on training for the rest of the week. Just before his boss fight he looked at his stats and skills.

It was time... For the boss fight. He was teleported to the boss room with the rest of the players.
This time the boss was The Ghost of Evermore.
A ghost boss mob. It had the appearance of a black ghost. It had no legs and bright red glowing eyes. It had long shadowy arms what were detached from his body. He had no hair.

Details - The ghost of Evermore. A weekly boss mob. Summons small ghosts what are considerably weak. The small ghosts come in big numbers though.
It didn''t seem like a big opponent. Though it had 7500 health... That was going to be troublesome.
The group was split up. Arita was the only one who wasn''t assigned to any other group. He was... His own group let us say. He didn''t have the things the other''s had. He was a half-thief half-swordsman so he wasn''t put into any group.
Arita had his own task. To get the first hit in. When the doors opened he rushed in and stabbed the ghost right in the eye. Seems he was correct. The eyes are one of the spots where he can be targeted.
Soon afture him shields rushed in and formed a shield wall. A phalanx formation-like thing.
Magicians and ranged users were near the exit raining hell.
Thieves and other stealth-classes were stabbing it from the back. It was the exact same strategy like last time. Arita... Was rushing around using his new sword to slash and stab the eyes.
He gave the Ghost some trouble. The reason the ghost didn''t catch him because the moment the ghost tried to attack Arita his defences and offensive capabilities were switched and he became a target for the sword and spear users.
The strategy was perfect.
The ghosts he spawned were immediatly taken care of by the barrages of magic and arrows. Arita was fast enough to dodge the arrows and then waited for the explosions to end from the magicians until charging in again.
It only took an hour to take down the boss.
He got 2 things.
Gained items - Core of the Ghost of Evemore and Ghost Boots.
He opened up the details for both of them.
Core of the Ghost of Evemore - Gives the player who owns this the ability to spawn ghosts. Can revive the ghost of evemore with special rituals. The ghost of evermore becomes the slave of the spawner.
Ghost boots - Gives the wearer speed boosts. Increases agility by 30 points.
He was surprised by the core. He could spawn the ghost of evermore. And ontop of that it would be his slave.
Another pop-up came up.
Arita the Caretaker leveled up. Increasing stats by 75.
Arita: "Nice..."
He opened up his stats.

Agility - 160 + 30
Vitality - 140
Magic - 140
Dexterity - 120
Charisma - 165
Class - Caretaker.
He also gained a new title.
Gained new title - Evermore Ghost slayer.
When he was about to walk out Jav approached.
Jav: "Oi brat! Wait!"
Arita: "What is it Jav."
Jav: "Our deal''s tomorrow right. At the colloseum?"
Arita: "Yup. Where else?"
Jav: "Good. Can''t wait to get my hands on that sword. I don''t want to admit this but good job."
Arita: "Thanks. By the way.. Who thought of that plan? The formation?"
Jav: "That formation? That was made by the person who owns the class Strategist."
Arita: "But our deals still on?"
Jav: "Yeah. I won''t be this friendly to you anymore. You bastard who tries to steal from me."
Arita: "You''re no better than me then."
Jav: "HAHAHAHA. I''m the swordshero! Your class is probably something low!"
Arita: "I am... The caretaker."
Jav: "The caretaker? HAHAHAHA that sounds USELESS."
Arita: "I will show you what the caretaker can do!"
Janitha approached Arita.
Janitha: "Stop fighting!"
Arita: "Oh Janitha! Nice healing!"
Janitha (blushing): "T..Thanks..."
Jav: "Sister! Why are you blushing towards this... BASTARD."
Janitha: "But... You see how good he looks... And how well he gets a long with the NPC''s and the NPC teachers..."
Jav: "Theyre just A.I! They''re useless scum!"
Arita: "Don''t you dare talk about Eric and the others like that!"
Arita punches Jav full strength throwing him straight into the wall. He falls unconcious due to the strong punch.
Janitha: "Brother Jav!"
Arita: "Bastard."
Janitha: "You... Hurt... Jav... How? How strong are you?"
Arita: "My stats are all over 100. My strength is 175."
Janitha: "Jav''s is only... 120... What level?"
Arita: "2."
Janitha: "My... God... How much did your stats increase when you leveled up?"
Arita: "75 points all."
Janitha: "All of us usually get 5-10 points in our stats each level up... Depends on the class though..."
Arita: "Hmm... Guess my class is really a Cheat Class."
Janitha: "Cheat... Class?"
Arita: "The caretaker was given to the first person to enter. I had 1 day of getting to know Lumina before others. Due to my... Circumstances...."
Janitha: "I won''t pry into those circumstances... But lucky you..."
Arita: "Hahahaha! You should check on Jav though. I punched him pretty hard."
Janitha: "He won''t die that easily."
Arita: "I''ll be on my way then! Bye Janitha!"
Janitha: "Bye..."
Arita leaves. Everybody was impressed by the stats of Arita. He accidentaly let out something he shouldn''t.
Next time the fight between Arita and the swordshero Jav will begin.

Now. To the story!
Our Hero... Arita... Has a duel with the arrogant swordshero Jav.
Jav is considerably weaker than Arita. But what if Jav uses cheats? No rules were placed on the duel of Jav and Arita.
And there was no say in the matter of using people from the outside to buff the dueller.
But does Arita care? No.
The duel has begun. The entire collouseum is filled with people. It is the first ever duel in Luminate Online. Even the NPC''s have gathered. There have been bets. Most of them on Jav though. Only Janitha has placed a bet on Arita.
Even the lord of Aurora came to see the commotion. This duel is going to be considered the "First Player-made Event"
The duel... Has begun between the two. Arita stands and waits for Jav to attack. His plan is simple. Be Patient, then strike like a lion and faster than lightning.
Jav... Has another idea. He is waiting for the magic circles he has placed around to gather enough mana to buff him. But even with those buffs he couldn''t match to Arita''s strength. Arita is currently the #1 player in the game. But NOBODY except a few NPC''s and Janitha knows it.
Jav... Waits. Arita... Waits. The collouseum is filled with excitement... No wonder there is some pressure on the contestants.

The attack hits Jav... It looks like Lightning and A lion''s image combined into one and attacked the side of Jav...
Jav didn''t faint. Magic barriers appeared. Apparently all the magic circles gathered into one shield. But the attack Arita made... Broke them. The momentum and the strength of the attack was only half of it''s former self but still got Jav down to 15% health.
From the right side of Jav blood was bursting out. You could even see some bone. One meter away from Jav was Arita. He was riddled with blood because of Jav''s wound. Everywhere was Jav''s blood. Jav was surprised about the attack but soon recovered and striked again.
Arita parried. He hit Jav with a small fast attack. Jav''s HP is now 5%. Jav can''t use his right hand anymore. His right side is COMPLETELY obliterated now. His left side is very damaged. It''s impressive Jav hasn''t fainted. Arita... Stands strong with 100% HP remaining.
But what he didn''t know is that ONE magic circle was still there. It hit Arita with a surprise lightning attack. It took all the magic power from the area and compressed it into a lightning strike and it struck Arita''s back. Right where the heart should be.
Arita screamed with pain as the lightning hit his back. Blood was coming out of Arita''s mouth. Everybody was surprised by the attack. Jav was grinning. Arita... Had 25% health left from the attack.
Arita... Was enraged. He didn''t expect Jav to result to such dishonorable acts. He moved towards Jav with his bloodlust showing. Behind Arita was... The image of an enranged dragon. The dragon was very big but it was coiled behind Arita. The dragon had big blue eyes and was green. It had the aura of a divine mob.
Divine mobs were monsters who were VERY powerful in the Luminate Online wiki. Nobody has actually met one but the aura was clearly knowable.
Jav... Was afraid. An enraged Arita was approaching him raising an iron sword. Arita was infront of Jav who was on his knees. Arita''s sword was up in the air. Arita only looked down on Jav before striking into Jav''s head.
The moment the hit landed blood bursted everywhere and soon Jav''s body disintegrated. This was the first ever PVP between players. And the first player death in Luminate.
Everybody was shocked.
They knew they could respawn but it took very long to respawn. 12 hours in the real world.
That''s why PVP wasn''t a thing.
The bloodlust of Arita dissapeared soon afture and the crowd was shocked. Even the king was shocked but interested in the player named "Arita".
He ordered soldiers to surround Arita. Arita didn''t care and struck down the guards who were weaker than players. He calmly left with his entire body being covered with blood.
When he walked towards the potion maker everybody screamed.
A 13-year old looking player was completely covered with blood.

Arita reaches the baths and then the person in charge of the baths asks him to sign a paper. But Arita... Can''t write. Mostly because he can''t use his limbs in real life so nobody has really taught him.

Our hero, Arita, is adventuring with Janitha. Well more like training in the fields.
He is fighting the mobs. He only needs... About 200 XP for a level up.
Right now he has killed:
100 rabbits.
55 wolves
80 imps.
And ontop of those 3 mobs... A field boss.
The Iron Boar.
The Iron Boar is a beast with the most ferocious charge in the world. When it charges the ONLY thing you can do is dodge it. Nobody is able to block it. It''s charge gives it 5000 speed and 10 000 strength. Making it almost impossible to hit while it''s charging.
It''s a miracle what Arita pulled off. He killed the Iron Boar. What he did was simple. Jump up and stab down. He luckily hit the brain of the Iron Boar and got it''s core.
Field bosses and other bosses have Beast Cores. Like the 2 cores he got from weekly bosses. He decided to make the king host an official tournament. He was going to put in the Iron Boar''s beast core as the reward.
When he went back towards the town Jav appeared. Jav was mad at Arita for killing him and taking Janitha, his sister, away from her. The ladder in his mind though.
Jav: "Arita! You beast! You killed me and then took my sister as the reward ontop of the sword! You coward!"
Janitha: "Brother! It''s not like that!"
Arita: "Janitha. There is NO reasoning with people like these. Just accept it. He''ll die again."
Arita raises his masterpiece Iron Sword at Jav. Jav immediatly runs away.
Arita: "Aaand he ran. And he calls me a coward?"
Janitha: "You are just too powerful Arita..."
Arita: "Maybe. Maybe indeed."
Arita pats Janitha on the head and she blushes.
Arita heads to the palace but Janitha stops him.
Janitha: "Umm Arita... I can''t go to the palace. The king hates Jav for losing in such a manner and then he hates me too. He thinks we are weaklings..."
Arita: "It''s all good. The king''s royal guards can''t touch you. I''ll be protecting you."

Janitha blushes again and heads to the palace with Arita. When Arita goes into the palace the king makes every soldier bow down to him. But one of them doesn''t. It''s a female... Armored up in a fancy full-plate. Probably a princess or a head guardsman. The king tries to command her to bow down too.
King: "Bow down Amelia! Now!"
Amelia: "To such a commoner? No!"
King: "Amelia! How dare you! He is stronger than anybody in this room!"
Amelia: "I will not father! He is a commoner! I will not bow down and make our family... Dishonorable!"
King: "A-M-E-L-I-A!!!!"

The Beast King and the Caretakers meeting during the First Official tournament.
As of right now... Lumina is having it''s first player tournament! It''s being held in Aurora with the support of the king and the prize the iron boar''s core!
But what nobody knows is there is a special guest who nobody invited.
The first fight in the official tournament is beginning!
It''s our hero, Arita, VS the magician Lithia.
Arita isn''t going to use his physical powers in this battle. He is going to try out magic. He learned from watching magicians the spells: "Fireball", "Lightning", "Ice Ball".
Lithia is a female magic user with a magician''s robe and a witches hat covering her long dark hair what reaches to her waist. Her eyes aren''t seeable.
The reason Arita is going to use magic is because he didn''t use magic ever before. He''s heard it''s an amazing sensation to first use magic.
Announcer: "The contestants are in place! The tension is high! And the bell will ring!"
The bell what announces the beginning rings. Immediatly both of them use magic.
Arita uses the simple magic: Fireball.
Because of Arita''s huge mana pool it''s 2x the size it should be.
Lithia used Water Spear to start with.
Water Spear is what it sounds like. It''s normal sized.
They send their magic against eachother and keep throwing magic at each other.
The whole stadium looks with interest. Magicians usually overpower other players except other magicians. Lithia was the strongest magician from the player''s side.
But to see Lithia in such a state... It was terrible. The reason was this: Arita was overpowering her. He kept sending fireball afture fireball, ice ball afture ice ball, lightning afture lightning.
Lithia could barely withstand the seemingly infinite barrage of magic by Arita.
When the barrage ended Arita was charging up a huge fireball. Lithia quickly tried to use defense magic: "Earth and Rock Wall"
But that failed... The firball broke through it and threw Lithia out of the arena with burns. She was defeated with ease. But suddenly.. Everybody felt a chill down their back... Something powerful just entered Aurora. Before anybody could react a dragon came down. It was huge. Everybody knew this type of dragon... "The Beast King" the ultimate boss... It has a mind of it''s own. It''s A.I is higher than anything.... It''s basically a real dragon...
It came to meet Arita. Arita was the Caretaker. The Caretaker was basically the person who killed and ressurected the bosses so they would serve the greater good. The Beast King was no different.
The Beast King was blinded by power. He only came to meet his... Nemesis.
When he saw Arita he roared.
Arita looked at him shocked... The Beast King in a city... If he were to attack it would be catastrophic. It would destroy the whole city. He was immediatly reminded of the train incident when he thought that. He didn''t go ballistic and throwing stuff around like he would in real life when he thought of that. He was rather calm.
The game forced people to lose their shock from real life. This helped patients to look past their fears and try new things. Upcourse because the VR was so new there was no proof of it. But the shock was deffinetly gone.
But before Arita... There stood the great dragon... The Beast King.
It suddenly talkd:
Beast King: "So you are the Caretaker huh...? I should get rid of you here but I want some fun!"

Beast King : "Ressurect them with your power. The Caretaker has a special hidden power what enables him to make the bosses his slaves. Even me if you defeat me! That will never happen though! Hahahaha!"
Arita: "Hmm.... But why should they terminate me? Will they just delete my account?"
Beast King: "The problem is higher than that. Your father was the genius who was actually helping fund this. Upcourse you don''t want to be reminded of your family much and you forgot that alot of your family were geniuses. Even you. But because of that... Incident... They all died. They decided to use you to test out the game. They decided to publish this so they could test out the game and when it''s done they will release a DLC where the Caretaker is no longer neccessary. Oh and I was created by your father. When you were heading towards the Luminate Corps your father was actually working for them already. He just wanted to surprise you and used that as a cover-up."
Arita: "He.... Was.... He... Created... You?"
Beast King: "I was specially created by your father. He created me because he knw Luminate Corps was going to get rid of him one or another way. So he created me to help you in-game to rebel against the gods."
Player from the crowd: "Hahahaha! This sounds insane!"
The beast king glares at the player and his head blows up.
Beast King: "Well i''ve seen you. Time for me to go. Oh and before I go. I''ll be taking the Iron Boar''s core."
Arita: "But that''s the prize!"
Beast King: "Do I care?"
Arita: "Seems you don''t..."
The Beast king took the iron boar core and left... Everybody was shock. The First Official tournament ended because the prize was gone. Nobody knew what to do. The Beast King wanted to help the caretaker so the king ordered guards to arrest him. Arita didn''t resist because he was in deep thought and didn''t notice before he was already in the strongest prison in Aurora.
What will Arita do now? How will he get out? Why would the Luminate Corps try to get rid of him? We shall find out in due time. First Arita will have to kill and enslave all the bosses though!
Reality. Part 1.
Arita, afture meeting the Beast king, decided not to log in for a day... He was too shocked to go back in and didn''t want the... Attention... What he would''ve gotten from the masses about the meeting.
He wanted to spend the day... In his hospital bed... Just... Observing.
When Arita obserbed his surroundings a little he found out... The TV he had in his room was mounted on the roof just so he could watch it.
Apparently the nurses and people who were taking care of him were keeping track of what was going on in that world through the TV.
When the nurses noticed that Arita wasn''t going to log in today they approachd him:

Guard 2: "We were sent to get you. She doesn''t know that you are unable to move though. Her father didn''t reveal that much information."
The nurses come in.
Nurse 1: "You can''t take him away from here! It will only make all our progress on getting him back on track useless!"
Nurse 2: "Yeah! He was so close to moving his limbs while being in-game! He was going to be able to move again!"
Guard 1: "Not our problem. We are here to do the bidding of our contractors. Now bye."
The guards pick up Arita and put him on a stretcher and 4 guards take up each side and escort him out. He observes the surrounding area... This place wasn''t a hospital. This place... Was something different. It had the illusion of a hospital but looked like a mansion...
Why was Arita in such a place?
When he observed more carefully.... He noticed... Nobody was here except for some maids and nurses. No patients or anything. It seems he was the only patient here.
Arita: "What... Is going on? I was supposed to be in a hospital... Why am I in a mansion? What''s going on!?"

The guards take Arita into a black car and drive away. The maids and nurses are shocked and don''t do anything.

Arita... Being taken to Janitha in a black car with 9 guards around him.
"Why was this happening? What was going on?" Arita asked himself.
He was approaching a huge mansion nearby. He doesn''t know how long he was in that car...
He knows that Janitha is waiting for him... But that mansion looks familiar... It looks VERY familiar to Arita.
Like the mansion his father''s worst enemy lived at... The house of... the Afrat family.
The Afrat family was the family what tried everything to stop his father... He knows this because he has seen the many attempted a Coup d''etat. Even he was targeted once but he didn''t notice anything but a red lazer going around his room and then it dissapeared.
Arita''s father... Was the Luminate Corps''s next head... Afrat family''s owner was the second in line for the Luminate Corps.
Arita: "Now that I think about it... That... I''m going to die now aren''t I... I can''t do anything against them..."
Arita is now being taken into the house where a butler already has a wheelchair ready for him. The guards put him in there and leave.
Arita... Knows... He has no chance of escaping. But why was he able to move his left arm a little now? What was going on? Why could he move a little? The moment he got out of that hospital he was getting better at moving... Now he could move his left arm a little...

Arita tries to get up and stays on his feet for 2 seconds before collapsing and getting caught by Janitha.
Janitha: "Butler... Leave us. I have to talk with him before he dies..."
Butler: "Affirmative. By the sound of things your father is already heading here. I estimate 10 minutes. So make it quick Miss Janitha."
Janitha: "I will..."

Eugene tries to kick Arita but Arita moves out of instinct... What was going on...? How did Arita dodge that?
Arita didn''t bother to ask those questions. He instantly took a nearby vase and smashed it into the leg of Eugene.
Eugene: "DAMN KID!"
Eugene tries to hit him again but Arita dodges with ease. He remembers everything what Eugene caused. All the... Blood. Arita was enraged... He moved as swiftly as the wind... It was basically a one-sided battle in real life... Eugene fell on the ground... Bleeding. Arita looked at him with the eyes of a killer.

Arita grabbed a nearby sharp object and stabbed it through the neck of Eugene. Nobody dared come close to the beast... Named Arita...

But Janitha crawled out of the corner... Came to Arita''s side who was still stabbing Eugene who''s lifeless body was on the ground...
Janitha: "Stop Arita.. He''s dead. You avenged your family... It''s good enough... I''ll explain to you what Luminate Online actually is..."
Arita: "What it actually is?"
Arita looks at Janitha with confusion...
Janitha: "Every boss was a program created by your father... Every human even the NPC''s are actually a player... That world was basically a prison just for you... The bosses were your key out. But I accidentaly opened the door for you..."
Arita: "Hehehehe.... It''s fun killing things though... Enjoyable..."
Janitha: "Come back to me Arita... I want the sweet Arita I knew..."
Janitha hugs and kisses Arita. Arita freezes with confusion... This was unexpected. Arita knew Janitha had feelings for her... But to kiss Arita this soon? That was a surprise.

Solo-ing a weekly boss.
Arita... Who was in the same room as Janitha who kissed him... Realized something.
Murder was good. Murder was enjoyable.
Blood was... Pretty...
But Janitha didn''t agree with him.
Arita went back to his hospital. Just this time he didn''t let him get paralyzed. He just wanted to play more of Luminate Online. It was time for a weekly boss aswell.
Arita: "Weekly boss... Let me try to do this one... Alone... I want to see how powerful I am.."
A few moments later everybody was teleported there. But Arita had already opened and closed the weekly bosses doors. Everybody who was teleported was confused. They heard fighting. But the doors weren''t open.
Player #1: "Who''s fighting... It is coming from the inside of the room..."
Player #2: "Hmm... Don''t know."
The players keep arguing, talking and thinking. Until Janitha comes and sees that Arita''s point in the map was... Inside the boss room.
Janitha: "I know... Who is in there..."
Player #3: "WHO? Who is that suicidal?!"
Janitha: "Arita... The Caretaker..."
Player #3: "Arita... He... Is trying to solo a boss... What is 2x-3x stronger... Damn suicidal brat!"
Janitha: "We can''t do anything about it... He is already inside. The doors closed. And the battle has begun..."
Player #3: "So all we can do is wait?"
Janitha: "Yeah..."
Arita was inside the room. Fighting the boss mob with everything he had. It seems the strength of the boss depended on the numbers and strength of the challengers. Because he was alone the boss was only 2x stronger. No minions were spawned. It was a duel... Between a player... And a boss.
Arita already jumped at the boss. Striking his arm. Rendering it useless. But the boss attacked him from the side with a club.
Both took heavy damage. Arita a little more than the Boss.
The boss was slower than Arita. And Arita knew that.
He kept running circles around the boss and striking every weak spot he could find. Every now and then the boss would get a few hits on Arita.
The fight... Was in Arita''s favour. He had already made an arm useless. The boss was bleeding like crazy. Arita... Was bleeding like crazy too. They exchanged blows. Sword and club clashed. Arita didn''t even bother to keep track on his HP bar. He knew that would stop him.
The fight went on for a while. Half a day. Until finally... The boss fell. Arita had struck it''s core.
Arita: "Hehe... Got you... Bastard."
Arita slowly walked out while looking at the things he got.
He leveled up. He got the boss''s core. The boss was an orc.

When Arita opened the door with only 2 HP left... Everybody tried to help him. He refused and walked towards an inn. Janitha following him.
Every player who witnessed... Arita leaving that boss room... Alive. Was... Shocked. Solo-ing a boss was suicide. But he pulled it off.
Player #5: "That bastard... He actually pulled it off...He actually did it. He did the impossible."
Player #6: "He is the champion... Litteraly... Unbeatable. He was only... Level two wasn''t he?"
Player #2: "Yeah... The Caretaker class is fearsome indeed... I do not want to fight him."
Arita entered an Inn and bought a room. Arita went into his room... Janitha soon came in too.
Janitha: "Arita... You know that if you die in here 2 times... You''ll die in reality... The shock of dying will be too great on your mind and it will shut itself off...."
Arita: "I don''t care. I''ll beat this game. I''ll take over Luminate Corps. I''ll make the world a better place. And I will murder everything what stands in my way."
Janitha: "Arita... Why do you do this? You know I love you... So stop. I don''t want you to die in reality... Death in-game only matters to you... We can respawn infinite times. You have limited respawns..."
Arita: "Hahahha. Life is a true bitch isn''t she?"
Janitha: "Arita... You IDIOT! You absoloute idiot! You risk your life... FOR WHAT?"
Arita: "Because I have nothing else to do. So what should I do?"
Janitha: "Stop being so reckless and live with me. We''ll live together and have a happy life."
Arita: "I''ll first conquer this game."
Janitha: "Arita... Ah screw this... You won''t listen to reason... I''ll send you a request soon. But for now... I''ll be going."
Arita: "Request? What sort? And bye then..."
Janitha: "Figure it out yourself!"
Janitha leaves and slams the door shut. Arita falls asleep and when he wakes up... A marriage request was frying above him. It was sent by Janitha.
Arita: "Ok... This is... Something... Why the hell not? I have nothing better to do."
Arita clicks yes and then leaves. The game registered them as a married couple. Janitha was surprised by Arita''s acceptance. But Arita was nowhere to be seen again.
Arita even chose to conceal himself on the map so Janitha couldn''t find him.
Janitha was freaked out. Thinking he was doing something dangerous again.
Where did Arita suddenly go? What is Arita doing? Why did he conceal himself completely?
