《Ryo's Journey》 Prologue /Synopsis In a war torn world, there were 2 opposing forces who fought endlessly to gain the powerful resources and control over the world. this war is so intense that it divided the world into half, one force controlling one half. the first powerful force is the Queendom of gaia,led by a strong but childish queen, where it''s citizens use powerful and mystical items called relics to fight. these relics are a mystery to even the people of gaia , relics choose their owners instead of the owners doing the choosing. Gaia got the prosperous side of the world, where they are able to live peacefully with nature''s beauty. The other force however, the empire of Machina, is led by strict and cold king, who rules with an iron fist over his people. the people of Machina do not fight with relics, as they are not compatible with them. instead they use runemetal , a durable but strong ore to create weapons and machines in their efforts to overthrew Gaia and claim their resources. Machina got the rather polluted side of the world, however the people of Machina worked their way around this with powerful and sophisticated technology using runemetal as their main source of life. the origins of their clash are still shrouded in mystery. Soon the goddess Celestia could not bear anymore to see the two forces fight one another , so she created 8 infants and infusing them with the 8 legendary birds. one for each infant. the legendary phoenix of ice, the powerful garuda of fire, the wise owl of nature, the swift falcon of lightning, the strong eagle of earth, the elusive crow of darkness , the proud peacock of wind, and the brave sparrow of light , all choose their preferred infants. in addition to the legendary birds, each infant is granted invincibility to anything, and will naturally be highly skilled at fighting. however , though they are invincible, when the time comes, they will die. 3 of the infants will be able to use relics, and the other 3 will have to rely on Runemetal as additional weapons, while the remaining 2, will only react to a certain relic/Runemetal at a certain point. the 8 infants are then scattered into random parts of Gaia/ Machina. they will grow up to be extremelypowerful beings , their task is simple. in their process of growing up in that world, the 8 infants are to judge whether that world is worthy of existence. as in 18 years time all 8 infants will gain the power enough to annihilate this world and any destroy any relic or runemetal in their way.However the memory of this infants are wiped out, and they will regain them as they grow older. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. 18 years later rather than being afraid of the 8 infants, both the people of Gaia and Machina saw the silver lining of this test. they wish to harness the abilities of the 8 infants and their power of invincibility in their war efforts. the 8 infants are then given the name undeads due to their invincibility and are hunted down endlessly. though the efforts of both forces are great, they only confirmed one of the undeads. the boy with the long silver hair which he ties in a ponytail, green eyes, carries a wooden sword, and is unparalled in terms of combat , devilish smile , ryo yuki. sadly ,though ryo is searching for one thing he desires most,his past. Many bounty hunters from both sides , machina or gaia, relic or runemetal, have tried to go to claim ryo and turn him to their king/queen in other to help their war efforts. sadly all was vain, since though ryo could nether wield relics nor runemetal, he shows no need for any of them, as he is skiled and has defeated and slain many warriors and hunters standing in his path. One day, a run of the mild hunter from the machina side , anna rosenburg, decides to try her luck in hunting ryo, though she failed rather miserably. though she did not catch ryo, she still claims tht she does and took interest in ryo, and tags along with ryo, who is on his journey to find his purpose of living and possibly ending the eternal feud of gaia and machina in the process. CHAPTER 1: The silver haired boy "Yare2" *heavy sighes from a boy around the age of 18 or so as he checks his empty pocket."Cant believe im outta money" as he makes a small pout. He stares into the blazing sun above and the endless horizon in front him. * Man, should have done more jobs back then" he snaps his finger afterward. "Ah well, live and learn" he walks into what may seem an endless road on a blazing desert. With his long silver hair blowing in the wind , in which he ties in a ponytail, his green like eyes that are devilish and yet hide a somewhat kid look in those eyes, a single fang sticking out to show his naughty and devilish nature. Not to forget of course his ace weapon , the wooden katana called Hakujin which looks weak but has beaten many foes and bathe in countless blade. It is no mistake that this is the Ryo Yuki, The Champion of all Warriors. "Huahh, man i hate hot weathers like this, cant it rain or something" said ryo and sleazy tone. Unaware however , the young legend is being spied by a pair of binoculars. "Silver hair, wooden blade, yupp thats him" said a girls voice. "Come just a bit closer, baka" as the girl crosses her finger hoping that ryo would step into one of her traps. However, due to the girls obsess in covering the trap, she put a sign that says "THERE IS NO TRAP HERE :3". "yosh, with that trap ryo''s legendary bounty will be mine* as she peeps through her binocular from a cliff vantage point. Ryo made his way through the desert as he reaches the sign ............................ *This is lame =.=)p* said ryo. "KORAAAA!!!! its not lame!!" a strong scream was heard. *Yip* the girl who was watching behind the rocks on the cliffs has just gave away her vantage point.*Ahhhh baka2* she whispers to herself as she kncks herself on the head. Now he knows where I am. Ryo seeing this pathetic display pure amateur hunter on his head, felt pity for the hunter. *Sigh, man ill guess ill just play along" as Ryo in tentionally steps on the tripwire of the trap. Suddenly two gatling guns appear from ryo''s side! *Oh how original~~* Ryo says in a boring tone as he easily and gracefully dodges each gunshot and redirecting the shots so the gatling guns shoot each other to pieces. Hontou? she peeks out of the rocks to see her trap was a failure. *WAAAAHHHH!!!!* screamed the girl. *Those gatling guns cost me a fortune. I had to go six months with only eating biscuits to save for those two gattling guns!!* OTL *Wahhhh* she cries * Teme you ryo, you no good son of a....* *araa2~~son of a what i may ask?* a sharp voice came from behind. *Ehhh?!* the girl looked behind to see ryo looking rather annoyed. *Huh? How? why? when? you were down there i was up here, ahhh how could you find me so fast* screamed the confused girl. Ryo replies,* mattaku aho they dont call me legendary for nothing you know~~~" *Arghhh im still gonna kill you and get your bounty!!!* as the girl takes out here dagger slash ryo. Suddenly Ryo sensed an incoming attack. *GET DOWN!!* ryo howls as he pushed the girl away just then a huge missile was heading towards Ryo. Ryo dodged in just in time and at the same time able to push the girls to safety. *EHHHH?! N-n-n- NANIYO?! where that missile came from", the girl says in a scared tone. *So this missile is not yours huh?* hmmph guess will see some fun~~* a devilish smile appears on ryo''s face as he takes out Hakujin.* Kuranarakoi, whoever you are!!!* upon seeing this three missiles were headed to ryo. *Heh~~have to the better than that* as he slashes the missiles going straight into the explosion. * KYAAAHH!!!* screamed the girl as she covers her ears. *Haha tanoshi desuyo* Ryo comes out of the flames with an evil smile. *Hahahahaha , come you have to give me more!!* as ryo taunts his opponent even more.
