 Prologue: The unexpected

    I realized that i was in a room with bright pink colour as the wallpaper with tiny hearts printed on it. "where am i'' i groaned to myself while getting up. "Was i kidnapped? I cant remember anything!" Upon looking around the room, i spotted a figure in the cornor curled up like a ball. ''Hello? Are you there?" I asked the figure.


    "So you are finally awake. Wake up earlier next time you fool'' the figure grumbled. What the...... i find myself in a pink room and i get insulted by an old man with long gray beard. "You are dead by the way, just to let you know. Took me a long time to find your memories in the river of memories you know." he grumbled again. He took out a bottle cointaining a purple colour solution and threw it at me. It went through me and disappeared.


    At first i didnt believe him but m memories came back after the bottle went into me. I remembered how i died. I was walking across the road when a truck came speeding out of nowhere and it crashed into me.....not. I dodged it and it crashed into an old lady who died instantly. So how did I die? Seemed like after the crash, i went closer to the crash site to take a look and the damn truck exploded! It was like the truck was determined to take me down with it.


    Ahh.... how i miss my collection of tanks and ships. "Done remembering?" the figure asked grumpily. " Yes i have and who are you?" i asked. "I think it is quite obvious that i am a god just from the appearance" he replied. Wait a minute, so is he saying gods wear bright pink sailor uniform even though he looked like a ripe old man?  HAHAHA what a joke, the gods must be quite mentally unstable. I realized the old man face becoming red with anger."YOU DO KNOW THAT I CAN READ MINDS SINCE I AM A GOD?!" he thundered. Oh shit.


    "Here i was thinking that you woukd understand my fetish of uniform but it seemed i have misunderstood you. Have fun in your next life puny no fashion mortal."


    Wait a minute, am i reincarnating like in the novels? Shit i have to beg for forgiveness or he might give me a curse. "Your holiness, your outfit is very fashionable on you. You look the best in that outfit" "Is that so..... i will forgive you this time but when you reincarnate as my champion, you have to wear it too at all times even if you are a boy." What the fuck. "No your holiness, this unfashionable mortal is not worthy of wearing that sailor uniform."


    "Hmmmmmmm" god seemed to be thinking. "Well i will make sure your body will be worthy when you are born then." Wait a minute, does this mean i will be ripe as him? Sweet. "Well now off you go and dont forget your underwear!" he laughed cheerfully as a portal opened up and sucked me in.


    I heard a voice in the darkness, "Push harder Lily. You can do it." I must be in the middle of birthing i thought to myself. As i felt myself getting pushed out, my eyes got blinded by the bright light. Ahhhhh my eyes! I screamed internally. "You done well my wife. It is a beautiful baby girl." woah woah wait a minute, baby girl? Is he talking about me? That damn god, so this was what he meant......but if i am a girl, doesnt that mean god himself sees himself as a cross dresser?

    It seems that my mother is called Lily Evergreen and my father is called Ren kazuki. Seemed weird to me that my father had a japanese like name in another world. How do i know it is another world? My father did some hand motion and i levitated into the air. They thought i was strange since i didnt cry like babies should so i cried after he levitated me.


    My father is the king of a country called Anten and it is a country that is blooming in economy and military. The era of this world is like the medieval period. Basically i am a princess. Damn that god. Of course most people would be happy that their parents are the king and queen of a country but why must i be a girl dammit.


    Realizing that my little johnny is gone caused me great grief. "Now now dont cry Aoi" my mom muttered while holding me. Right my new name is Aoi Kazuki. My mother is exceptionally beautiful. She was long sliver hair that goes down to her thigh and has piercing red eyes whose face can also put models in my previous world to shame while my father has emerald eyes with a beautifully shaped face that looks more of that a female than a male. Oh right. My parents are not human but rather of that of beast and dragon kins.  Mother has fox like ears and tails while my father has horns curving outwards and long crocodile like tail.


    What about me? Well i am still a baby so does it matter now? After i was born, there was a huge celebration. And then finally i was left alone. Being a baby really is boring. Not being able to move and just lying down there, it made me depressed. Lying down listening to random talks all day all night really made me wish for the internet.


    When i was finally able to crawl, i crawled wherever i could go but escaping from the eyes of the watchful maid proved to be really hard. All i wanted was to get some books from the library but whenever i crawl out of my room, that bitch kept putting me back into the damn crib.


    i realized that i was not really loved by my parents just because i was not a boy. If only god didnt make me into a girl..... They wanted a heir for the throne so they birthed until they had a boy so i have 2 sisters and a brother.


    P.S  First time writing a fiction and why so little conversation? Cause it is the prologue

 Chapter 1: History

    The planet i am on is called Alpha. Alpha has 2 moons rotating around it. It is the 4th planet closest to the sun. The solar system has 6 planets. Only 2 is habitable and of course the inhabitants of both the planets have no idea about astrology or that there is another planet with life. How do i know? Well lets just say god told me okay? What type of god is the ripe old man, i have no idea.


    Anten is a country with its population mostly beast kins and a few rare species like dragon kins. Dragon kins are not actual dragons but has properties like them. Examples are their magic resistance being exceptionally high. Dragon kins were created from dragons and not from gods.


    The gods watching over planet Alpha are the Greek gods while the other planet has Roman gods watching over it. Many assume that Greek gods are just another form from the Roman gods but they are different beings. Why is the planet being watched over gods that was thought to be from Earth? Well that is because the god planted that ideology into the heads of the people during the roman times. The god refers to the ripe old man.


    Rishon is a country that is formed by humans. Rishon is separated from Anten by the sea. Rishon and Anten has been at war for at least 22 years. It started when humans traveled in boats made of wood across the sea to find new land and encountered the beast kins. At that time, neither of the country knew about its other existence until they met. The humans were fearful as beast kins had animal like ears and tails and thought of them as wild animals.


    They fought and the people of Rishon retreated. There was prisoners captured by both sides. This was roughly 2 years before the actual war started. Human prisoners were dissected by the people of Anten and also experimented upon. Finally, they tried eating the human meat and found it to be highly delicious to the people of beast kins and also helped the people of beast kins to strengthen their magic capabilities such as higher output of damage. Thus, human meat in Anten was treated as food for the rich and prisoners captured were turned into livestocks.


    After Rishon retreated, they also brought a good amount of prisoners. The sailors of Rishon brought the prisoners to the king and they experimented upon them. They did experiment to find out their weakness and their body structure. The prince at that time did not like any women and found the women of beast kins to be highly suitable for his taste in women as their animal like ears and tails turned on the prince. The prince wanted to marry one of them but the king did not allowed but only allowed them to serve the prince as slaves and thus, slavery began for the prisoners and the people of Anten were highly popular as slaves for the nobles.


    And thus, both country began development of their ships so that that could attack again with ease. War raged on in the seas between Rishon and Anten. Fortified castles and port was build near the sea. They would build ships with wood strengthened with magic and bring wizards to move the ship by manipulating the water around the ship and also used them to attack other ships with spells. Rishon also had ships resembling modern aircraft carriers but with giant eagles on it with no hanger or superstructure. Wizards would mount the eagle and launch attacks from the air.


    Anten used wyverns as mounts against eagle and to attack from the air. Only Rishon had been able to breach through the defense at the sea and arrive at the land of Anten. They launched attacks form the air as well as on the ground to capture prisoners to serve as slaves. The people of Rishon also used beast kins as sort of a battery to power their magic barrier at the imperial city. This attack devastated the people of Anten.


    They were finally pushed back with the help of dragons. The dragons burned the ships to crisp with their breath and easily killed the eagles. However, some people was already taken away. After this event, the dragons started helping out only when soldiers of Rishon reached the land of Anten but so far, it had not happened again.


    Human prisoners captured by the people of Anten were cooked alive by the soldiers of Anten before sending some to the king. Human prisoners were also forced to breed so that they could produce more livestock. Of course Rishon does not know what happens to their captured soldiers and assumes they are killed by the enemy. Both countries has been searching for ways to improve the defense of their ships and possible make magic resistance material that is easy to make for their ships.


    While all this was happening, a portal opened up and spewed forth demons of all sorts and sizes into the sea and began attacking both countries ships. 4 categories was made for the demons. The 4 categories are Destroyer class, Cruiser class, Battleship class and finally the Carrier class.


    For the Destroyer class, there is 9 tiers. With tier 2 being the weakest and tier 10 being the strongest. From tier 2 to 10, their designated names are Umikaze, Wakatake, Isokaze, Minekaze, Mutsuki, Hatsuharu, Fubuki, Kagero and Shimakaze respectively.


    For the Cruiser class, there is 10 tiers. From tier 1 to 10, their designated names are Hashidate, Chikuma, Tenryu, Kuma, Furutake, Aoba, Myoko, Mogami, Ibuki and Zao respectively.


    For the Battleship class, there is 8 tiers. From tier 3 to 10, their designated names are Kawachi, Myogi, Kongo, Fuso, Nagato, Amagi, Izumo and Yamato respectively.


    For the Carrier class, there is 7 tiers. From tier 4 to 10, therei designated names are Hosho, Zuiho, Ryujo, Hiryu, Shokaku, Taiho and Hakuryu respectively.

    Destroyer class demons are generally small and agile but has weak magic resistance. When they get within range of an enemy ship, they attack by latching on to either the underside or the side and start to eat through the hull of the ship, causing leakage. This proved to be most bothersome to mages when they get underneath the ship as they could not target it. They are generally about 5 to 30 meters in length.


    Cruiser class demons are bigger than the Destroyer class but smaller than the Battleship class. They can withstand some amount of magic before sinking. They are not as agile as Destroyer class but their attacks are stronger. Destroyer class demons attack by using dark magic as Cruiser class demons have some intelligence compared to the Destroyer class. Mages are able to counter their spells  though if they are hit, they can expect some damage to the ship infrastructure. They are generally about 10 to 70 meters in length.


    Battleship class demons are the biggest of all the categories but is slow. They can withstand tremendous amount of damage before sinking. These demon does not have intelligence and attack by using attacks formed from their body and not from magic. Examples of this attacks are fire balls shot from the mouth to shooting spikes from the body to using laser beam attacks from far range. Most of the fireball or projectile attacks are usually slow and can be dodged by quickly moving away the ship. They are generally about 100 to 300 meters in length.


    Finally the Carrier class demons. They have the most intelligence among all the categories and is usually the one planning strategies. They are usually out of sight from mages as they stationed very far. They generally look like a huge whale with demonic features and  has a huge mouth. From the mouth, they launch small demons that take to the sky to attack any enemies either in the air or sea. They are about 50 to 70 meters in length.


    When the demons appeared, Anten and Rishon stopped fighting each other and fought against the demons. After they eliminated the demons, the portal closed and it did not opened until 10 years later. It opened again 2 years from the current year and higher tier demons attacked. They were once again pushed back.


    Why was all this mentioned? Because it is history! The reason they are named after World War 2 ships is because god influenced the mind of the namer of the demons.


    "Whew..." i sighed as i closed the history book. That was a hell of information to take in. I am currently 4 years old. The reason my parents hate me is not because that i was a girl but because that i was abnormal. How? I have heterochromia with the left eye being red while my right eye being emerald colour. I gained my fox tail from my mother but did not gain here ears. Instead, i gained my father''s horn. When i first looked at myself, i thought i was pretty cool looking but it seems that when a girl is born between different races of beast kin and if the baby is a girl, it would be the mother''s race. If it is a boy, it follows its father''s race. Since i was a mix of my father and my mother, i was deemed as an unlucky and abnormal baby.


    "I guess god didnt really forgave me huh since he gave me this appearance." "Hey freak, get me a glass of milk!" exclaimed one of my sister at me. My younger sister even treats me like this. This sucks. "How about you get it yourself or ask one of the maid to do it" "I am asking you freak" "How about no" i answered back. I walked up to her in a threateningly way when my younger sister screamed. "what happened !" i heard a yell as footsteps were heard rushing to the library. My mother burst through the door and picked up my younger sister whose name is Rika Kazuki. "She tried to hit me" Rika answered mother as she had crocodile tears running down her cheek. "HOW DARE YOU TRY TO HIT MY CHILDREN! GUARDS BRING THIS ABOMINATION TO HER ROOM AND LOCK HER IN THERE WITHOUT FOOD!" mother called out to the hallway.


    Fuck. What the fuck was that. As the guards dragged me away, i saw Rika smirking at me. Bitch i will get you back for this. When i was just born, i didnt have my horns so my parents thought i didnt get my ears from my mother but after a year, when the horn started growing, i was neglected by my parents.


    The guards threw me into my room and closed the door behind me. "We had to touch that thing. What an unlucky day." i heard from behind the door. My room only has a pathetic wooden table and a bed. What a shitty day. Getting falsely accused and getting punished for it.


    My other sister is called Yui kazuki and my younger brother is called Kenta Kazuki. Both my sister bullies whenever they sees me although Rika is worse than Yui. I have not even seen my brother once. Whenever a person turns 5 years old, they would take a test to determine their stats and whether she or he can use magic.


    Right, i forgot to mention this but i also have black hair. It seemed that no one has black hair in the beast kin except me that is.


    Whenever i ate, i ate on the floor in my room. My food is usually just a plain soup with some meat. What a pitiful meal. If i was just a ordinary kid, i would just have been crying my eyes out but my mental age now is 20 years old. Instead of crying, i been trying to formulate a plan to trick my sisters into getting into trouble by themselves.


    P.S Finally i finished the history. No more boring facts now :D

 Chapter 2: Status Window

    I have never been outside of the castle before as i am not allowed to. My siblings have already gone out and explored the city while i was still stuck in my room. Finally when i turned 5, i was taken to a nearby church to take the test of summoning the status window. "Hurry up and come quickly. Make sure no one sees you." my mother said as she walked discreetly to the nearby church.


    As i entered the church, there was no one there except for me, my mother and a priest. Why my mother led me to the church is because one of the parent has to be there. "Now put your hands on this crystal ball and you should see your status window appearing." the priest explained to me while taking out a transparent ball with fog like substance inside it. After i placed my hands on the ball, the priest chanted "Heavenly father, please allow this unworthy one to access the status window." That was some weird ass chant that priest pulled out of his ass. While all this was happening, my mother just stood at the back of the church, not paying attention to me.


    "It is done my child" the priest gently smiled while talking to me. "Well thanks so how do i see my status now?" i asked him. "Just say the word status loud and clear in your head and it should appear in front of you. Take note that no one else can see it unless you give permission." Status!

    Before i had the chance to look more closely at my stats, i  was pulled away by my mother back to the castle. I was also wearing a hood all this time. "When you turn to the age of 8, you shall start attending school.''" my mother suddenly said in a monotone. "What?! What about my appearance?" "You shall attend the school under a different name from the royal bloodline." Does that mean i have to pretend not to know my own family? Well if so then FUCK YES! Fuck the royal family. I would have more freedom.


    After reaching back, mother did not bothered to check my status screen and just left me in my room. Well better for me since i dont need to deal with that hag any longer. I checked my status window with more details after she left. What the...... why is my mana zero! Does that mean i cant use magic? Cant believe this shit. I thought reincarnated people were suppose to be like overpowering but noooo my stats is horrible. What about my skills then.

    Hmmmm..... external mana manipulation is pretty sweet in my opinion. So basically i can still use magic. Whew, scared me there for a while. Otherworldly knowledge seems decent but i dont think it will be much use for now. Blessing of the Creator is absolutely useless. It does nothing. It is like there to piss me off.


    I tried out my otherworldly knowledge and if i wanted to make a pistol, i would know how to do it but i can''t remember how to build things like nuclear reactor unless my skill rank goes higher. I can''t even build a pistol since i don''t have the material needed to build one.


    When my 7th birthday came, unexpectedly, they celebrated it for the first time. I sat down on the dinning table with my family and saw my father. He looked almost the same the last time i saw him. "Uhhh hello father....... long time no see eh hahaha" i awkwardly said. " "Watch your mouth!" my mother said cutting me off. "Well sorry for my mouth then.....by the way where is brother? i have not even seen him before. "He does not have the time to attend pointless birthday dinners" my father replied back instead of my mother.


    Sooooooo if my birthday is pointless....... why are we even celebrating it in the first place dumbass is what i wanted to say but i kept my mouth shut. Gotta keep it in until i turn 8. "This will be your first high class dinner you will be having Aoi.....it is meat with potato stew." That''s it? Meat with potato stew.... wow that is considered high class food. "This is not ordinary meat" my father continued. "This is human meat Aoi and keep that in mind. Now we all know that human meat is rare as livestock tends to kill themselves." What the fuck. They actually eat humans? i thought that book was joking or something. "I will have to decline this meal father as i do not feel fine. I shall head to my room first." i said while getting off my chair and giving a small bow.


    "Sit down" father shouted out before i could leave the room. "Just let her leave dear" "No she is still our daughter and we should give her one proper birthday before she leave for the academy." Wow, father must be a tsundere.... "Sorry father but i am not eating human meat as i find that disgusting." "How rude!" mother exclaimed. "That''s fine by me though since i get my servings" Yui spoke out.


    As the food was served before i left, i stared at the stew, wondering what it looked like. It looked like a normal stew though i knew the meat that floated around would probably be human meat. Even though the smell was incredible and made me drool, my mind was in disarray since i used to be human. "Well if you really do not want to eat then you can go back.." father said dejectedly. Sorry but i can''t stomach eating humans now. Maybe in the future though.


    It''s the day before i turn 8 and i started packing up my belongings to leave the castle and enter the Academy of magic. My horns came out from the side of the upper head and curved in infront of me. My long black hair reached down to my waist and my kitsune tail turned black. Surprisingly, during my final year living in this castle, i was not really bothered by anyone else. It seemed that my family has accepted my appearance partially i guess.

    I am wearing a plain white shirt and shorts while wearing a dark robe over it. Reason i am wearing shorts is because i can''t bear to wear a skirt or a dress. It''s too embarrassing to wear one since i used to be a boy. Speaking of which, i trained my body with push ups and jogging on the spot in my room since i had nothing to do.


    "Seems like today is your big day Aoi." i heard a voice behind me. "Seems like it dad." i replied back. He stood at the doorway with his hand holding a pouch. "Well i thought you might need some money so take it" he said while tossing me the pouch. Woah his giving me money! What a nice guy. "Ehhh thanks i guess?" "Sorry that you have to register under a different name. Your mom make me do it." What! My mother was the bitch all along? Fuck that old hag. "No problem and thanks for the money!" i cheerfully said while walking past him. "Wait..... if you have any problems, tell me okay?" he said with a gentle tone. "Okay bye dad!"


    -------Yui P.O.V-----------


    When i was 5 years old, my mother told me that i had to stay away from a monster that lived in a castle with us. I wondered why didn''t my mother or father chase it away so i went to the tower she asked me to stay away. I went inside, sneaking from shadow to shadow. As i turned into a corner, i was knocked down from banging something.


    "Ouch...Watch it kid" i heard from in front of me as i was getting back up. For a moment, i thought i had run into the monster but it was just another person.


    As i looked at the person in front of me, she swiftly walked past me before i had the chance to look at her face. "W..wa...wait please" i called out but she had already disappeared. I decided to head back before i got scolded by mother. I share my room with my sister Rika. After i got back, i told her about my adventure to find the monster. "Monster? What monster? There is a freak living there! Not a monster." Rika said to me smugly.W...why do you look so smug when you talk about it?" i asked her as she looked as if she owned the world when talking about it. "Cause i can order her around! That''s why."


    2 years later.........


    I found out that the freak Rika was talking about was actually my older sister. I don''t know why she calls her a freak. She looks beautiful to me with horns and fox tail. She also had different eye colour and i thought that was cool. Maybe Rika was jealous? I didn''t really talked with my older sister much but i heard that she was leaving the castle today. I rushed out to at least bid her goodbye but it was too late. She had already left on the carriage. I vowed to myself and said, next year when i go to the same school as her, i will start treating her like my sister.


    ------Aoi P.O.V------------


    I am currently sitting in a carriage with 2 horse pulling it. "It will take 2 days ma am" the couch sitting outside said. 2 days stuck in this small ass carriage. Soooo boring...... nothing to do. I will damn sure make a Bugatti veyron when i can. Sigh.... still sitting in this carriage while it shakes and shakes.


    I know a few magic spells though. I learned it from a spell book that i found in my father''s room. There are tier I to X with different elements. Because i found the spell book in my father''s room, there were only tier V and VI fire spells. As the tier increases, the mana consumption increases dramatically but since i use external mana, which people normally can''t do, i basically have unlimited mana as long as there is mana near my vicinity. Spells!

    Gah, i only know 2 spells. Even though they are mid tiered spells, i still feel pathetic. "Orcs!" shouted the couch from the front. Finally a battle.... been itching for one. "Urghhhh" a groan was heard with grunts and snorts overcoming it. "That couch was pathetic....... my turn now eh."


    I jumped out of my carriage and jumped onto the roof. Damn that''s a lot of orcs and goblins i guess? No matter.... i shall use my blazing tempest to get rid of all of them at one go and it is my only AOE spell after all. Hmmmm first i collect mana from the surroundings into my hands. Then i imagine a fire vortex and let it go at where i want it to be is how i cast blazing tempest though all this only take a couple of seconds.


    The orcs all looked up at me and started snarling with saliva spitting out everywhere. Orcs looked like a huge grey humanoid beast with lumpy bumps all over it''s skin. Goblins look like well.... green skinned things i guess that also has humanoid figure. Blazing Tempest!


    A huge fire storm surrounded me and burned away at everything that i willed it to be burned inside the vortex. SREEEHHH cried out the orcs and goblins as their skin started melting off and their bones turning to ashed. GAHAHAHA THAT''S WHAT YOU GET UGLY SHITS! After the fire vortex dispersed, there was nothing around me except the horses which was frantic and the carriage and ashes floating around.


    "Well that was easy." "That was too flashy..... i got to make a weapon that can easily kill any monsters soon. Better start going to the academy or i might arrive a day later. This horn of mine is seriously wicked looking though. Hope it grows longer so i can fire Cero like the hollows in one of the manga i read before.


    2 days later............


    Finally i arrived at the academy. That does not look like a school at all. It looks like a fucking fortress with a huge ass gates. As i walked closer to the gate, the 2 status at the side came to life. The statue at the left looks like a phoenix while the one on the right looks like a Chimera. "Halt. What is your business for being here" "To attend the academy obviously." i replied annoyed with my arms folded across my chest.


    "Show me your I.D card then" the phoenix spoke this time. "And while taking it out, take off that hood." Shit i left my card at home i realized. Fuck my life. "Let her in" a wispy old man voice came from behind the gates. "But headmaster, she has no I.D card. "I know here father so let her in." "Fine." The gate opened without a sound and a old looking man with a pointy hat was standing there.


    "Welcome princess Aoi to the academy of magic. All races are allowed to attend as long as they can contribute somehow either with magic or innovations." the old man said with a grin. "Well thank you headmaster..... well i shall be going then." "You are in dorm C princess and remember to use a different name." he said before disappearing into thin air.


    Fuck, i been walking around for nearly a hour already. Where the fuck is this dorm c. "Are you lost?" a sweet voice came from behind me. I turned around and saw a girl with pale skin and grey hair that reaches the shoulder. She also has piercing red eyes that seemed to stare into your very soul. "Y...yeah i am looking for dorm c." "Well you are in luck because i also stay in dorm c" she replied excitedly. "Follow me!" and if that she grabbed my hand and pulled me along.


    We walked towards a forest but i could not spot any buildings in my view. "Are you sure this is the right way?" "Of course!" she said while pouting. "It''s here!" She went over to a tree and damn son a small ass magic circle was inscribed on the tree. "Place your hand on this magic circle and you will get teleported to the dorm!" She pulled my hand and placed it at the magic circle. I felt my sense of balance tilting and had a rush of adrenaline coursing through my veins. After a while, i felt solid ground. "Urghhh" i groaned as i got up from the floor. My hood was still on luckily. I didn''t want anyone to make a fuss on the first day i arrive at the academy.


    "By the way, my name is Aria Bloodheart. What''s yours?" the pale girl asked. "Uhhh my name is ehh Zaomi Kazuya." i replied hastily while modifying my real name slightly. "Wahhh what a unique name hehe" Aria giggled. "Well your room number is 34. Hope we get along neighbour." she said before skipping away. And thus started my short school life.


    P.S If you have trouble imagining what the horn looks like, it is basically like the horn of Albedo from Overlord.

 Chapter 3: First day at school

    Well this room is certainly bigger than my previous one, i thought to myself. The room width was about 5 meters while the length was about 7 meters. There is a bed in the corner with the opposite end having a door that lead to the bathroom. There is also a closet that is build into the wall and a extravagant looking table and chair which was sleek and had glossy surface that seemed to be made out of black wood that was polished i guess. I began unpacking my belongings and started putting my clothes into the closet. I took off my hood and threw it on the bed.


    "May i come in?" a voice came from behind the door. Should i put on my hood again? i wondered. "Well i am coming in now" before the door started to creak open. "W..wa..wait!" i cried out as i ran and tried to close the door. It was too late as she burst into the room. "Thanks for inviting me into the room!" Aria giggled. "What''s the point of asking to come in when you came in anyway..." i replied back with an annoyed face. "You look cute when you make that face haha!" "W..what are you saying!" i said blushing slightly. Shit why am i blushing. "Oh you have horns. I see that you are a dragon kin. You have such unique eyes too. I wonder why you were hiding your face when you look cute and beautiful." she said while giggling at me.


    Seems like she didn''t notice my tail since it is behind me, lifted slightly so it could not be seen through my legs. "What race are you Aria?" i asked. "Finally you asked! I am from the proud vampire race!" she replied with a triumphant look on her face. "So why are you fidgeting? It looks like you are hiding something behind my back." she said with mischievous eyes. "No i am not hiding anything!" i replied hastily while moving back slowly. "We shall see!" she cried out before jumping at me. "Come here and let me see what you are hiding!" "G..get off me!" "What''s this? A kitsune tail!" she said before grabbing it and pulling it. "Kyaahhhh let go!" i cried out. Damn that was a weird feeling when she grabbed my tail. Felt like electricity running through my spine and i let out a girly scream.... shit.


    "Zaomi what are you?" Aria asked while still sitting on me. "Uh could you get off first?" "After you answer my question." "I am uh a half kitsune half dragon kin i guess?" I replied back nervously. Aria leaned her face closer to mine until her lips were almost touching mine. "Seems like you are not lying." she said before getting off me. Whew that was bad for my heart. She got wayyyyy too close just now.


    "Wow i never seen one before!" she replied back cheerfully. "Ehhhh? You are not going to say like i am a freak or something?" "Why would i? It''s the personality that matters right? Not the appearance. Your image looks cuter to me as well since i found out that you are unique!" Aria replied with a glint in her eyes. "T..thanks i guess. Could you not tell anyone as well?" i asked her. "If you say so" Lucky she is so understanding. "For one condition." she said while interrupting my thoughts. "What is it?" i asked her nervously. "He he you have to let me suck your blood when i am hungry!" she said cheerfully.


    "N...no way." i protested. "Should i tell everyone then hmmmm?" "F..fine!" i replied back knowing that resistance is futile. "Glad you understand! See you tomorrow!" she laughed while walking out of my room. How old is she to start threatening people. Damn how am i going to hide my tail anyway. Just as i said that, a bright flash came from my desk and there was an envelope there.


    Fuck that scared me. What the fuck was that. i walked over and opened the envelope. The envelope read Sup Zao! Remember me? The beautiful god that looks good in beautiful sailor uniform! Well i have send this letter to you since you finally thought of how to hide your tail. Inside this envelope is a what you may call choker. Wear the choker around your neck and your tail will transform into a dragon''s one. Tada! Magic. P.S I have not forgotten what you said to me before so this is revenge. TeeHee i could have given you a bracelet so put on your tail but too bad sucker! With love, from god.

    Seems like my all my stats have improved a bit thanks to my small training i did. What the fuck. Why so i have the title Kinky Kitsune. Damn that god. Well i better go down and have dinner. After a while, the pain subsided. That god had to make it painful. Much hate so vengeful wow god.


    I went to the bathroom and looked into the mirror. "I have to say that even though god is a bitch, the face is cute and pretty at least and not a ugly face. My striking red eye and bright emerald eye was really nice though. That choker seemed to blend in with my long black hair though it can still be seen. I am currently wearing a plain white shirt with shorts that reached down to my thigh. I look like a trap since what i am wearing can be considered clothes for boys.

    "JUST DO IT!" i convinced myself to walk out of my room without being too embarrassed to go out. Wait a minute, i can just the hood to cover myself and the choker as well! BO YEAH! I am so smart! There was a door which i assumed it to lead to the kitchen. This place is like a restaurant! There were already some people eating. As i walked towards one of the empty table, i felt people taking a glance at me before turning away. Shit why are they looking at me? I am pretty sure i look normal. FUCK I FORGOT ABOUT MY HAIR! i screamed internally at myself. Black hair is not common around here or more like doesn''t exists except me. Crap too late now better continue walking towards that table and sit down.


    As i sat down, i felt more eyes on my back. Should i just go back up? I wondered to myself. Before i could stand up to go back to my room, i felt a hand rest on my shoulder. I immediately grab the hand and prepared to blast the owner of the face with my frost flame but i stopped before it hit. "Woah there chillax." i heard a voice come from the person standing in front of me. It was a boy that would be a bishounen in the future. He had beautiful light blue eyes with blue hair that reached down to his eyebrows. His height was nearly the same as mine which is 110cm. I couldn''t identify his race since he did not show any appearance that would say what his race was.


    "What do you want?" i asked a bit aggressively. "I was just wondering what your name was since you have unusual hair." "Well why should i tell you?" "Ca..cause i...i am asking?" he said which his facial expression showed that he did not expected my answer. "Uh let''s sit down shall we?" he said before sitting directly opposite of me. Damn random guy appears out of nowhere and ruin my dinner. "What do you want to order?" a waitress asked us. "I would like what you would recommend." i said. "Make my order same as her." he said after listening to my order. "Of course please wait for your food to come." the waitress said before walking back to the kitchen.


    "Copycat..." i muttered under my breath. "I heard that. Your left eye colour is different from your right eye colour. Wow!" he said after looking at my face closely. "My name is Hideyoshi Itsuki. Nice to meet you." he said while looking expectantly at me. Sigh seems like i have to give my name since he looks so expectantly at me to say my name. "Fine my name is Zaomi Kazuya." i replied back while crossing my arms across my chest. "Here''s your food." the waitress said while pushing a trolley with food on it. "This is what we recommend. Roasted wulf meat steak with special sauce." Wulf? What the fuck is that? Is that wolf for this world? Probably i guess.


    "Looks delicious." i said softly while drooling slightly. This would be my first time eating a steak after reincarnating in this world. The smell that came out of the steak wafted into my nose, making it twitch slightly. It had an ambrosial and delicate aroma which made me drool evermore slightly. I used m fork and picked up a piece of the steak and ate it. The taste was heavenly. It tasted like a medium rare A plus beef steak with a bit of spicy tinge added to it. Tears of joy rolled down my cheeks as i slowly chewed my food.


    "Uhhhh, are you okay? You look like you are in pain." Hideyoshi said with a worried face. Ahhh this dumbass had to ruin my moment! "Yes i am okay thank you for your concern." i forced myself to say it politely. "Okay then. Well i have to go back first so see you later!" he replied with gusto and left with his share of steak. Finally some peace and quiet. I continued to enjoy my wulf steak before i headed back to my room.


    I changed out of my clothes and into another similar pair before getting into the bed. What a day. Wait a minute, he didn''t ask me about my choker! Maybe it actually is hard to see or it might be invisible! Hope that''s the case. I thought of how my first day of school would be like before falling asleep.


    "Wake up sleepy head!" "Urgh whose there...." "You won''t wake up huh i have no choice but to do this!" i heard before i felt something tickling the side of my body. Aria said with a grin before getting off me." "Sh..shut up!" "Hurry up we will be late for school if you don''t change now!" Aria switched to a serious tone. Shit being late for the first day would be a bad. I can''t take going into class when a lesson already started and everyone would stare at you as you make your way to your table. It is so uncomfortable. I experienced it before.


    Wait a minute, i don''t have a uniform! "A..Aria i don''t have a uniform. W..what do i do?" i asked in a timid voice since i thought she would me mad at me. "I knew it ha! I knew this would happen so i brought along one of my extra uniform. Take it and change!" she said gleefully. She handed me a girl''s uniform as she was talking. Fuck! Don''t tell me i have to wear a god damn skirt! "Don''t you have like a boy''s one?" i asked. "Huh? Why would you want to wear one? Let me guess... you never wore a skirt before right!?" she asked me before her eyes glint with joy. Gah she figured it out.


    I have to choose between wearing a skirt and shaming myself or getting late and have people stare at me. Seems like i have no choice but to wear the skirt. Why? Cause as i said, going into a classroom late is the worst feeling! "F..Fine then. I will wear it." "Good girl" Aria said before petting my head. What the fuck. Isn''t she like the same age as me?     "Can you get out since i have to change?" "Even thought we are both girls?" Aria asked with a smile. "Just get out! We are going to be late!" After she went out i picked up the uniform to examine it. It was a standard girl''s uniform. It looks like the uniform from Madoka Magica anime.


    I hurriedly put on the uniform before heading out. "Kyah you look so cute in that!" Aria exclaimed! "H..Hurry up and let''s go!" i stammered while blushing a bit. We went out of the dorm by placing our hands on a magic ball near the exit and we teleported back to the forest. We slowly picked up speed as we walked on. Such a big place. So bothersome. After half walking half sprinting, we reached a place which looked like a auditorium. "We reached on time!" Aria said happily.


    We sat down at the back which is the nearly the highest point. "Good morning students and welcome to the Royal magic academy! This place will become our second home since you have to spend lots of time in this place. And uhh yeah that''s about it and have fun!" the figure on stage was speaking. "Well that was a short opening speech." I commented on it. "It sure is. It looked like the headmaster had nothing to say as well!" she replied back. "Time to go for our first class now." As we were walking out, the headmaster flashed me a grin. What the fuck was that. Creepy as hell.


    "Our first period is basic magic theory it seems." Aria said while we were walking. "Sounds boring......" I replied back. The classroom was pretty spacious when we arrived. It seemed to have about 35 tables. "Let''s go seat at the back!" i quickly exclaimed before rushing to reach the back of the classroom. I sat down at the corner of the classroom at the back, near the window. Hell yes i got the best seat in class! I congratulated myself internally.


    "Hey we are in the same class!" i heard a voice coming from the door as Aria sat beside me. "Oh it''s you again Hide." i replied back in a monotone. "Why are you talking like i am a burden!" he cried out while faking tears. "Who are you?" Aria asked a bit too aggressively. "I am Zaomi''s friend!" he said with pride. "What! Bullshit!" Aria retorted. "Well he is more like an acquaintance than a friend." i hastily said. "Settle down class and take a seat. My name is Mr Henderson and i will be your teacher for the basic mana theory lesson." i heard a speech coming from the front of the classroom. The boy over there standing at the back that was arguing just now. "M..Me?" Hide asked? "Yes you. Come and sit at the front." "Wh..why?" "Cause you have not taken a sit yet." Hide walked the the front dejectedly and sat down. "Hahaha in your face!" Aria giggled out.


    "Today, we will be learning what is mana. Mana is all around us. Everything has mana in them because they would naturally absorb the mana in the air. The better you get, the more you can store in your body to use." "Sir, since you said mana is all around us, does this mean it is like oxygen?" i asked. "Oxygen?" What is that?" the Mr Henderson replied back confused. "Uhhh then is mana like air?" i changed my question. "Sort of but it cannot be affected by wind or any physical properties and it is invisible." "I see.... thank you teacher." "Your welcome." And he carried on talking about how we use it and what mana might be.


    Hmmm seems like mana is like part of the air in this world. Mana would probably be made out of atoms too right? Since everything is made out of it. Interesting. I have to investigate this when i get the resources to do it. 1 hour later..... "Well, that''s it for today''s lesson. Take care and goodbye" with that, he left the classroom.


    "That was boring!" Aria exclaimed. "I found it interesting though." i replied back. "It''s fascinating how mana works." "Ehhhhhh you like this kind of lesson? Wow i found it to be such a dull lesson! Let''s go and have lunch now!" "I agree with you i am starving!" i replied back before heading out of the classroom. It felt like i was forgetting something though.


    "Wait a minute, so that''s it? No more lessons for today?" i asked. "It is the first day of school after all." Aria replied with a matter of fact face. "Let''s go shopping!" Aria exclaimed with excitement. "What! No way i am doing something so boring!" "So lesson is fun but shopping is boring? I shall change that! Before that let''s go back to our dorm. I am hungry." Somehow as i was walking back, i felt a chill run down on spine when i heard that.

 Chapter 4: Magic practice

    "Why aren''t you eating anything?" i asked Aria while stuffing my face with Wulf steak. "I can''t eat solid food since my stomach can''t digest it." she replied back while eyeing my food. "I can still drink liquefied food though." "That''s too bad for you because i am enjoying this steak very much!" i said with glee at her while i ate my food slowly and deliberately. "Hmph i am going up first" Aria said while pouting and getting up from her seat. After finishing up my steak, i headed back to my room.


    As i entered my room, the door slammed shut behind. I jumped from the loud sound and turned around. "Whew don''t scare me like that Aria." i said with relief. "That''s because you came up so slow." "Well so why were you waiting for me in my room?" i asked. "Because i am hungry." she purred at me. "Uh th...then how about you go outs... outside then?" i stammered while walking back slowly. "Why would i want to go out when i have a fine source of food right here." she snickered at me before leaping at me, knocking me down onto the floor.


    "G..get off me!" i squeaked while trying to push her off me. "This is for taunting me as well!" she said with an air of superiority before exposing her fangs and biting down on my neck. "Gah what''s this!" Aria spluttered as she bit the choker i was wearing instead of my skin. "Hmph think you can stop me with this?" she scoffed before she began closing in on the unprotected part of the neck since the choker didn''t cover my neck completely. Before long, she managed to pull my choker to the top of my neck and used her fangs to pierce through my skin.


    "Ouch!" i shrieked but as soon as she started sucking up my blood, i felt my strength fading away and i soon stopped struggling. "Ahhh it hurts..." i panted as Aria continued sucking up my blood. "Mmph your blood is delicious" she muttered before she continued sucking. Before long, i passed out from anemia. "Arara you passed out even though i wasn''t satisfied yet. It can''t be helped" Aria sighed before picking up my limp body and gently putting me down on my bed. After that, she left.


    -------Aria P.O.V----------


    Vampires age mentally twice as fast then normal humans or beast kins. That''s why when vampires attend school they are more usually more mature than normal beings. That being said, it makes us not want to associate with other kids since their more childish but not with Zaomi. When i talk with her, i get a vibe which tells me that she is more mature than the other kids.


    I first noticed her when i found her wondering around, looking lost. I was going to ignore her and continue on my way when i noticed the scent she was giving off. It was a sickly sweet smell which is very rare to come across. This meant that her blood would probably have the taste of a high class blood which would be sweet and unlike normal ones which would just taste bland.


    I approached her with intentions to find out who she was but i could not really see her face with the hood blocking the way. When she spoke, her voice was silvery which sent a shiver down my spine. We walked together after i decided to help her get to her dorm. I found out that her name was Zaomi Kazuya. After i led her to the dorm, i went back to my own room.


    I decided to head into her room after waiting for a bit. As i opened the door, Zaomi tried to close the door to stop me from coming in. I quickly slipped through before she could close it. The first thing i noticed was her face. She had red and emerald eyes which surprised me but what i didn''t realize that Zaomi was very cute and beautiful. The horn just made her look more desirable.


    As i chatted with her, i saw that she was fidgeting which trying not to show me her back. This made me suspicious and i leaped at her and confirmed my suspicions. She had a Kitsune tail while having the horn of a dragon. "Kyahhh!" Zaomi shrieked. Ahhh her voice is so cute when she shrieks out like that. When Zaomi asked me to keep this a secret, i realized that i could use this to my advantage.


    I said my condition to her which was to let me suck her blood if i was hungry. Of course she resisted at first but i managed to ''convince'' her. The fact that she was also a unique species made me want her even more. After she agreed, i left her room in joy.


    The next day, i sneaked into her room so wake her up. Her closet was open so i sneaked a peak inside and i only found clothes that was more for like boys then for girls! I deduced the fact that she does not  wear girl clothes and she probably would not have bought the uniform yet since i also could not find it in her closet. I went back to my room so that i could grab a spare set of my uniform before waking her up.


    As i thought, Zaomi didn''t have her uniform so i lent her mine. Strangely, she asked me to go out of her room while she changed. Hmm maybe she was hiding something else or she maybe she might be into girls i thought to myself before the door opened and Zaomi stepped out looking somewhat embarrassed. She looked stunning in the uniform.


    I realized that her tail had changed into a dragon tail but i decided not to ask her about it. After that, we went to the speech hall to hear the opening speech which was surprisingly short and went to take our lesson. Before the lesson start, a boy approached Zaomi as if she was his best friend. How insolent! How dare this boy try to steal Zaomi from me. I have to stop him so i proceeded question him with a bit of blood lust leaking out but the ignorant boy didn''t seemed to notice the hostility i was obviously emitting.


    While the lesson was ongoing, Zaomi seemed to listen intently to the teacher while asking questions. Hmmm is she the studious type? Finally the lesson ended and i wanted to go shopping with Zaomi but it seemed that she wanted to go back to the dorm to eat. Well i was getting hungry as well so i agreed.


    We went to the cafeteria and i watched Zaomi eat her steak with gusto. She even taunted me. How mean. I shall have my revenge i vowed to myself before excusing myself to go up. She didn''t even locked her room door. How carefree. I went inside and waited near the door. After some time, i finally heard her coming in. She took her own sweet time didn''t she.


    As soon as she entered, i slammed the door shut and Zaomi jumped in fright. After i implied the idea that i would be sucking on her blood, she slowly went backwards but i leaped at her and knocked her down to the floor. I pushed down her arms and legs with my own and tried to bite her neck but i was stopped by something hard and rubbery. Was she wearing this before? i questioned myself. Did she wear this thinking it would stop me? I felt irritated as i felt that Zaomi thought this would be all it takes to stop me. It made me felt inferior.

    I went back to her neck while she kept squirming under me. I pushed her choker to the top part of her neck before biting down on the lower part. She kept struggling but she soon stopped as i injected paralyzing venom into her bloodstream. Her blood was sweet and warm and i could also taste the steak that she ate before. It was intoxicating. Ahhh i sighed with a look of pure bliss on my face. I could get drunk on this. I stopped sucking after realizing that she had fainted. Probably from the lack of blood i suppose.     ----------Zaomi P.O.V------------


    Urgh my head. I grasped my head as i woke up. Shit that was painful. "Wake up Zaomi~" i heard a voice from outside my door. "Go away." i gasped at the door. "Thank you for last night!" i heard Aria exasperated before i heard footsteps walking away. I stood up and went to look at the mirror and saw 2 fang marks near the bottom of my neck. That looks painful if i touch it. It''s going to attract lots of attention as well. I better cover it with the choker. Feels a bit itchy though.


    I better prepare to go to school. I took a quick shower and wore the attire for magic practicing since today was practical lesson. Practical and theory lessons alternate between each days. The attire is like your typical japanese P.E attire which consists of a white shirt and a buruma.


    I never thought i would have to wear something like this. The buruma has a hole for my tail to slip through. As i walked towards the huge field where i assume the lesson would be at, people turn their head to look at me. Is there something weird on me? Shit, don''t tell me this is because of my black hair. "I uh am here to buy metals sir." "Hmmm what type of metal missy?" "The hardest metal you have?" "Then you are asking for adamantium metal. Do you have enough money for it though. It is very expensive you know." the large man asked suspiciously. "Ho..how much is it?" i asked in a small voice. "50 gold coins for a chunk." The money my father gave me before i went on to the academy is about 5 platinum coins. "Is 1 platinum coin enough?" "Pla..platinum coin! Only royalty have those!" the shopkeeper stammered.


    Eh? Shit. If that''s true then why did father give me then! "Anyway missy, you do know that 1 platinum coin is equivalent to 100 gold coins right?" "Uh yeah." "So for that 1 platinum coin, i will give you 2 chunks of adamantium metal alright?" the shopkeeper asked. "Can you add in some iron please? As service since i used so much money." i pleaded with him with my best teary eyed trick. "And keep quiet about this please." "Such underhanded method to get freebies, fine fine." "Thank you uncle!" i said in joy before leaving the shop with the metals tuck away.


    How am i carrying all this you ask? Brute strength. It''s not even a lot anyway since it is only for making a gun. I walked back to the academy and went into the forest that was nearby. Hmm i wanna start making it now. First i gotta make a alloy of iron and adamantium. Wonder what it will become. I dug a hole and placed all the metal i had inside. Well here goes nothing. Mini blazing tempest! A small fire tornado when inside the hole, heating up the metal inside.


    Hmm iron has melted and is in molten form but that adamantium is still heating up. That''s some high melting point there. Mini blazing tempest! I cast again. Now there is 2 tornado in the hole. The dirt around the metals having already gone through vitrification reflected some light out. The heat coming from the hole was enormous. The surrounding dirt started going through vitrification as well.


    Shit this is taking too long. It''s been 30 minutes already. A sudden bright flash emitted from the hole as i said that. What happen. As i looked inside the hole the two metals had already merged. Finally! I took out the bucket of water and splashed it. Steam erupted everywhere but the metal was still glowing hot. Little did Aoi knew that to melt adamantium was supposed to be impossible. I continues to splash it with water until it cooled down. Adamantium colour is red and iron is just grey but this alloy colour is blue! How''s that possible! Geh doesn''t matter. I finally have the metal i want! I shall call this metal astral metal.

    In the adventurer''s guild, there was a large commotion. "Look at the request that is sponsored by the king.     As we approached the sea of people crowding around the counter, people started parting way for us. "Holy shit! Are they the famous trio?" a voice came from the crowd. "It is them!" "Huh, who the hell are they?" "Don''t you know about the party name trinity? They are a party that has many achievements!" "Ho like what?" " For example, vanquishing an elder lich?" "A...an elder lich? Bullshit!" "Are you calling me a liar!" A fight broke out near the back of the crowd. We ignored them and continued walking towards the counter.


    "We would like to register for the expedition please." i said politely to the women behind the counter. "Of course, please sign here and come to the gate of the king''s castle tomorrow." the women said with a smile. After that we walked out of the guild and went to rest up at a inn. "We better prepare our best equipment for this since i feel like it is going to be very dangerous." Norio huffed before falling asleep. "Let''s hope nothing goes wrong." Arisu prayed.


    Arata has red hair and red eyes. His face is considered handsome by normal standards and he has a slim build although he is very strong. Arisu has long flowing emerald hair that reaches the hip and has emerald eyes. Norio has brown hair that is a bit shorter than Arata and has muscle build that makes him look like a warrior even though he is not.


    The next day, we woke up and prepared to go to the gate after eating breakfast. We prepared numerous magic items that would help us escape more easily with we needed it. "Alright let''s go!" Norio shouted with enthusiasm and we headed to our destination. When we arrived, there was many people already gathered outside the gate. It was roughly around 700 people. "This has got to be the largest people ever gathered just for an expedition.


    "Ah hem, i am the head of the wizard court, Hendalf. First, please step through the gate and into the palace." the old man at the other side of the gate said before disappearing into thin air. "Cool, this is the first time stepping into the king''s palace!" Norio exclaimed with glee. There was many same reaction with the other adventurers.


    After we stepped inside the palace, we found ourselves in a large hall. Beside Hendalf, there was a strange looking device. It looked like a small box on the floor with many wires going into it. Infront of the box, there seemed to be 3 round shape indented into it. The box was also obviously made out of adamantium. "The place you guys will be exploring is another world but fear not, we have already explored it once and we deemed it to be safe enough for anyone to go through. The reason the king hired you guys was to have more manpower to explore the world since it is very big." the wizard informed us. "Another world?" "Safe and easy money?" "Hell yeah!" Many excited shouts was coming from the many adventurers that had gathered here.


    "Well shit this is easy gold. We should not have brought our best equipment after all." Norio sighed as his shoulder drooped since he like facing very strong opponent. "Something smells fishy. I think the wizard was lying." I speculated. "Hmm? Why do you think so?" Arisu questioned me. "Well number one, his tone was shaky. Number 2, he was sweating in this hall which is actually quite cool." "Maybe he was just tired? Since he is quite old." Norio asked. "The head of the wizard court is quite famed to have lived for quite a long period of time. He should not be tired from just standing there." I said to Norio and Arisu. "Should we bail?" Arisu asked with a frightened look. "Hold on a minute. We came all this way and even have our best gear with us! It would be a shame to go back now!" Norio exclaimed angrily. "Fine fine but we should retreat the moment something feels wrong since we are going to another world after all." i replied back.


    --------------Third Person View----------------


    The wizard could be seen pacing up and down in a room. "All of those young people is going to die. How horrible. I hoped for less people to arrive but nearly 700 people arrived. Is there a way to stop this?" the wizard could also be seen muttering to himself.


    Hendalf did not realize that someone had quietly opened the door and slipped inside. "I have no choice! I have to kill the king myself!" the wizard proclaimed to himself before he felt something wet going to his robe."Wh..what...." was what the wizard gasped before collapsing onto the floor. There was a dagger sticking out of the old man''s heart. "That''s what happens if you decided to rebel against the king." is what the assassin muttered before leaving the room as quietly as he entered.


    "Hahaha i knew that old senile fool would try to rebel against me. How foolish!" the king laughed in his throne room after he received the report. "Activate the gate and let those foolish adventurers in." the king ordered another man kneeling in front of him. "But your majesty, we do not know how to activate the gate." the man stammered. "Take the 3 bloodstone that is in his room and place it inside where the dent is." ordered the king. "Yes your majesty." and with that, the man scampered off.


    ----------Arata P.O.V------------


    We could see a man approaching the device and taking our three blood red stones. "Gasp, is that bloodstones!" Arisu exclaimed with a hand covering her mouth. "What''s so surprising about a bloodstone?" a nearby adventurer asked. "You can only make bloodstone through a huge sacrifice and there is 3 too!" Arisu exasperated. "Who cares!" another person retorted. An argument was going to start but someone walked beside the device and loudly spoke out.


    "I am King Eugen the 8th and i will be opening the portal myself! Prepare yourselves brave adventurers as you people are the first that is not from the special army to enter this realm!" the king boomed. A loud cheering and applause soon followed after. "Now brave adventurers, BEHOLD THE GATE TO ANOTHER REALM!" and with that, he pressed a switch that was in his hand. The bloodstone slotted in started to glow blood red while the device started vibrating. A whirling sound could be heard and after that, a large rip appeared above it.


    The rip looked like a rip made by a dagger on a piece of paper. "Now enter and if you bring back anything that i consider high of value, you get bonus gold!" the king exclaimed before walking away. Group by group, they started going into the rip. When it was finally our turn we entered as well. The moment we stepped through the rip, we found ourselves in a different area from the king''s place.


    There was trees with red leaves and black bark all around us. The sky was blood red and the ground was black as well. "Where are we?" Norio muttered to himself while looking around. "Fear not people! The king has already told us it is safe!" a man wearing a shiny heavy armor said. After everyone went through the portal, it closed. "It will open up again 3 days later so we have 3 days to explore." the man continued.


    "We will make base camp here. After that we move out in groups and explore." the man in shinning armor said. "Let''s go!" Norio shouted, his passion for exploring burning up. Shall we move out first then?" i asked my party. "Yeah." both of them said. We started walking through the red trees. "Damn this place is really messed up." i quietly muttered to my party members. "I know right? Feels like something will jump out suddenly." Norio replied. "Th...this place gives me the creeps." Arisu stammered.


    After walking for a while we came across a blood red lake. "Damn that is bloody red. Think it is drinkable?" Norio asked while staring intently at his own reflection in the lake. "Do you want to try?" i joked. A face that seemed to been ravaged appeared where Norio was staring at. "AHH!" Norio screamed while falling backwards on his butt. "What happen?" Arisu asked with concern. "I think i saw a undead in the lake. I was just surprised that''s all" Norio replied while getting back up while blushing in embarrassment.


    Just then, bodies started floating on the surface of the lake. "What the hell, that''s sick." Norio said with disgust on his face. "We should get out of here." I speculated. "What? No way! It''s finally our time to shine!" Norio stubbornly said. "Tch fine. If something goes wrong, it''s on you." i replied back annoyed. "Yeah yeah whatever worrywart." Norio retorted before taking out his spear and staff. I took out my detached my great sword from my back and held it in a stance. Arisu took out her wand which the undead seemed to stare at.


    The bodies started walking out of the lake in a slow unsteady movement. They were basically like zombies but where did the bodies even come from in the first place? At first, the undead slowly moved out of the water but after they came out from the lake, they started charging at us at extreme speed. "Watch out!" i warned the others before using one of my skills. "Wind Slash!"


    As i swing my great sword, a shock wave came out and went through several undeads. Their bodies got cut into 2. "Well they are quite weak though." i shouted back to my team. "Holy light!" cried out Arisu. A ball of light was shot from her wand into the air. A bright light was emitted which burned any undead 10 meter near it. "Nice!" Norio shouted. "Earth Eruption!" Norio continued. The ground underneath some undead erupted, destroying the undead bodies since undead bodies are already decomposing.


    Soon, all the undead was destroyed. The ground was scattered with rotting organs and flesh. "Urgh let''s get out of here. The smell is disgustingly overwhelming." Norio said while pinching his nose. "I agree, let''s go back to base camp for now and report this."Arisu continued. "Yeah let''s go." i said. "The fact that there is undeads here shows that the king was lying." "But the undead was not a problem for us." Norio replied. "But there is people here that has no combat experience and if they get attacked, that;s the end for them!" "Shit, we have to go warn them about this asap."

 Chapter 5: Weapon of choice

    Hmm what type of weapon do i want for now? i thought to myself while scratching my chin. If i build a gun, i would need bullets but making bullets is going to be hard. Maybe i should build a sword? But i don''t want my weapon to be something that is common or known to this world. How about the type 1 energy sword from the Halo franchise? Now that''s sound cool. It seems like i have the knowledge to build one surprisingly even though it is a fictional weapon.


    I can use the alloy i made for the hilt but where do i get magnetic field generators? Shit i have no idea. I should head town again and who knows there might be one since this is a magical world. While walking around, i decided to try my luck in a magic stone shop. The shop appeared to contain many different colour stones of all sizes. "How may i help you?" the girl behind the counter spoke.


    "Ah do you have stones that uh generate magnetic fields?" i asked. "Magnetic field? I am sorry miss but i do not know what that is." Damn i should have known. "Then do you have stones that generates electricity?" i asked again trying my luck. "Electricity? Do you mean electric? If yes then we do have." the girl answered back. Lucky they have the concept of electric. "Do you have one that generates very strong electric?" "We have a large variety. The strongest one has enough power to kill a small dragon!" the girl said excitedly.


    "Is that so...... can i have 2 of those then?" "Tw..two! But they are very expensive and you don''t look rich to me!" the girl tried to bravely tell me. "1 is for 90 gold you know and you want 2 of them." the girl continued. "Well i do have enough so can i see them?" "Really? Wait here please." and with that the girl walked to the back of the shop and came back, holding a very exquisite looking box.


    "These are one of the more expensive magical stones." the girl explained. "So that''s why they are kept in this magic safe." "Yeah yeah here 2 platinum coins." i said to her and tossed her 2 shiny sliver coins. "Pla..platinum coin?!" and with that, a similar conversation started again. After i bought the stone i hurriedly went back to where i made my alloy. I will use these stones to generate magnetic field by channeling the electric power through the astral alloy at the corner of the curved hilt.


    After using my otherworldly knowledge, i could see the blueprints in my mind. I will have to use blazing tempest again. This spell sure is handy. I placed the alloy where the soil already went through vitrification and used my spell. The alloy levitated since i made it levitate by using the wind generated by blazing tempest and went to work molding it. I heated up the alloy before i started molding it with the wind generated by the spell.


    After i molded it into the shape i want, i started hollowing out certain parts inside the hilt. After that, i cooled the hilt down and started putting the stones into place. And then i started making circuits boards inside to make a button to switch it off or on and also to direct where i want to electricity to flow.


    A few more hours later. Whew, time to test this baby out. i pushed the button in with my palm which is at the middle of the hilt and with that the sizzling sound accompanied with a bright flash of light filled my eyes and ears. What had appeared was a black and the signature curved blade that the energy sword is famous for appeared. It worked?! Why is it black? I didn''t even put in the device that i needed to heat up the electrons in the air which would be plasma and then the magnetic field would shape it and trap it into shape.


    A bright flash appeared beside me with an envelope accompanying the flash. This is familiar. I opened the letter which read. Dear Zao, i helped you complete your weapon since your skill level was not enough to completely give you the knowledge to make it. Why did i help you? Cause it is your first otherworldly creation! Thank you, thank you. I half expected you to try make a lightsaber which i would have helped you complete it but you didn''t so too bad. I made it black to match your black hair. Makes you look like a villain. HAHAHA. Well expect no more help from me so bye my cute cross dresser. Signed creator of your mom.


    Fuck. If i knew that he would help, then i would have fucking build a death star or something. Dammit. He even called me a cross dresser when he cross dressers himself. At least i am a girl now but his just a riped old man. The envelope then burned up into ashes which disappeared. ''Ting'' Hmm?     Otherworldly probably went up 2 whole tiers since i made a pretty advance shit right there. Blazing tempest went up by 2 levels. Not bad if i have to say. Haaaaa i love my new sword i said to myself in glee as i started swinging it around. The the sword swing, the sizzling sound of air companies it. Black colour is nicer than blue actually. The hilt is blue though. I still have some of the alloy i made. A good chunk of it actually since the hilt is mostly hollow. I should save it for something else but for now, the sword would do. The size of the hilt is about a adult human hand size and not the size of a sangheli''s hand by the way.


    i decided to experiment with my new energy sword and i tried slashing a tree. The blade went through without any resistance and the tree was cut into 2. Wicked. This will be enough for self defense. Where should i keep it though? After pondering for awhile, i decided to strap it at my upper thigh which is just covered by the damn short skirt. Why does this school have such short skirt anyway i complained to myself while walking back to my dorm. It was getting late when i arrived.


    "Where did you go!" Aria appeared behind me with a annoyed face. "Uh shopping?" "Huh? I thought you hated shopping?" "Shopping for necessity is different from shopping for fun!" i scoffed. "So what did you shop for then?" Aria replied back while smirking. "I don''t see you holding anything though." Aria continued. "I uh food! That''s right i went out for food!" i replied too fast without thinking what i was going to say. "Ho right." and with that Aria stopped questioning me. Aria probably knows that i was lying so i am glad that she left it at that. I don''t want my secret weapon seen by anybody after all.


    After i ate dinner i went back up to my room. Today was such a successful day. I should start training swordsmanship so i can use my sword more easier but i probably would have to modify the techniques since i will gripping the sword differently from a normal sword. After thinking about what to do in the future, i fell asleep.


    The next day, the same as usual day went past except that i asked for a instructor in swordsmanship. I was told that i was too young but i managed to convince them by saying that starting early is better. "HARDER!" the instructor shouted at me from the back as i was holding a small sword and swinging it at a straw doll. "Why am i starting with a real sword!" i complained to the instructor. "Using a wooden sword is light and only helps you stabilize your swinging but you would have to get used to the weight of a real sword after changing so i rather make you start with a real sword.  That answered your question? Now get back to swinging!" yelled the instructor.


    The instructor''s name is Takeo and he is a werewolf. His method of training is harsh. Making me run around the whole compound many times every day, making me swing swords and practice stance. I am a little girl for crying out loud. This guy has no sympathy at all. Days flew by as i trained. I didn''t only did sword training but magic training as well. I pushed back the thought of making a gun until i could be more efficient in magic and wielding. Aria started practicing spirit magic and had already made a contract with a earth spirit. Surprisingly, after that one time Aria sucked my blood, she didn''t do it again so i started letting my guard down around her.


    9 months went by and I had grew up to 145cm while Aria was 148cm. More importantly, i grew another tail! Since i have a choker stuck on, the extra tail became the same dragon tail i currently have. It looked so weird and having 2 tails is a very unique feeling. It is like having more arms. I also improved a lot in swordsmanship. After 2 months of practicing, the instructor started teaching me sword techniques. Surprisingly, he started teaching me katana styled sword techniques. Teaching me how to use a curved sword like a katana. I learned some new magic as well and also bought some magic books from a store the sold them. I also feel much more fitter! Status!

    I learned 2 new sword spells that is shadow slash and sword dance. Sword dance is one of my favourite spell to use since i can make my illusions go where ever i want it to go. The instructor taught me the spell after i completed his training modules. Same for shadow slash. There is no wizard or magician that can cause electric spells except me! Since i have the understanding of how it works, i can manipulate it and thus creating my very own original spell! Ha i am a genius.


    9 months ago, in the forest where Aoi had created the alloy. A traveler was passing by and saw a glint of light from the corner of his eyes. He went over and found a small piece of the astral alloy that Aoi had made. "Th..this is a metal that i have never seen before!" the traveler shouted at the top of his lungs. He just happened to be a expert in metals. He brought it to more metal experts that was from the king''s castle to examine it and found it to be much more harder than adamantium ore! This was a huge discovery for the people. The king (which is Aoi''s father) started sending out search parties to the area the stone was found but only found slash marks that seemed to cut so thinly and without flaw.


    This caused experts to believe an unidentified monster had appeared and would have more of this rare metal. Many hunters were send out but they never found the monster. Eventually, the metal was stored in the treasury deep in the castle.


    Back to the present


    As i was making my way to the cafeteria, Aria ambushed me from behind with a jump on my back. "Ahh get off!" i squeaked while trying to throw her off me. "Hehe, where are you going?" Aria asked cheerfully. "Going to eat." "Ehhh, but the new students will be joining us today. "What! Isn''t it next year?" i asked in shock."They are coming in earlier for this batch. I am not sure of the reason but we are going to be seniors now!" Aria replied cheerfully. Shit. My younger brother and sister will probably be in this batch of new students. "I also heard that the princess and the prince of Anten is going to attend as well! I wonder how they look like." Aria said excitedly while practically bouncing up and down.


    "so let''s go to the speech hall now! We might even be able to have a glance at them!" "Umm you can go without me. I rather eat than waste my time there." "What! Are you not even excited? You are no fun at all!" and with that Aria ran off to the direction of the speech hall while pouting. I got to say that Aria has gotten cuter over the months. I hope we meet again girl." he continued before he left. What the fuck was that. Random ass guy comes from now where and introduces to me before walking off. He had red hair with brown eyes and a face that cannot be called average. He would appear handsome to me if i was a girl to begin with but i am a guy so no, he looks like a ordinary dude to me. Sorry pal.


    I have a feeling that from now on, it is going to be a tough year ahead of me. After i ate, i went back to my room and locked the door before taking out my energy sword. I have decided to call it Arbiter in honor of the fictional character. I love admiring my own made weapon. Makes me proud when ever i sees it. I didn''t even see how my own actual tail looks like but i can''t take off this stupid choker no matter what. Fuck you creator.


    While i was admiring the weapon, someone knocked on the door. "Is that you again Aria?" i shouted at the door. "Um no i am not." a different yet familiar sound came from behind the door. I safely put back Arbiter back to my upper thigh before opening the door. "He..hello big sister Aoi, Lo..long time no see. I am going to be your room mate from now on wards. Please take good care of me." the girl in front of me said timidly. Fuck.

 Chapter 6: Black eyed being

    "Sorry you got the wrong person. Good bye." i said nonchalantly before closing the door on her. Shit why is Yui my room mate! I wasn''t even informed that i would get a room mate plus, there is no extra bed for her anyway. "Is this the wrong room?" i heard Yui questioning herself. "But only Onee-chan has black hair." As i heard that, i quickly wore a hood over my head and braced myself for her to knock again.


    "Aren''t you one of the princess? Why are you here?" i heard someone else speak to Yui. Fuck isn''t that voice Aria. Better stop Yui before she reveals any secrets unintentionally. Before i could go out and stop here Yui spoke "I am looking for my Onee-chan! I heard that she is someone in this dorm." "What does your sister look like? Maybe i can help you cause i don''t remember there being any royalty in this dorm." Aria spoke gently.


    "Umm she has....." but as she was going to say what i looked like, i quickly slammed the door open. "Aria! Come in quick!" i said urgently to her before pulling her into my room and closing it quickly. "Hey! I was talking to the princess! That was rude you know." Aria scolded me. Ignoring her, i put my ear to the door and heard footsteps walking away. "Whew" i sighed.


    "So what was so urgent that you had to rudely interrupt my chat with the princess?" Aria asked with a scowl on her face. "Or maybe, are you just jealous that i was having interest in another girl?" Aria continued, her face changing from a scowl to a look of glee. "Wh..what no! I was ju...just hungry! That''s all!." i replied a bit too loudly before blushing from her comment.


    "Hehe i forgive you. i have not seen your face giving me that reaction for a long time. Ahh this made me hungry all of a sudden. Mind assisting me?" Aria asked with a seductive smile. "Wh..what! No way!" i shrieked while trying to reach for the door. "You are not escaping from me." Aria smiled while talking and before she could leap at me, the door opened and the headmaster stood at the entrance of the door.


    "This is the room princess." the headmaster spoke to someone behind him. "Ehh... but she says she does not know me....." Yui spoke while pouting. "Well i am pretty certain my princess and i shall be taking my leave now." before he left the room, he gave me a smug glance before walking off. That bastard sold me out!


    Yui came into the room and closed the door behind her. "Umm he...hello." she greeted us. "Do you know Zaomi here?" Aria asked gently before flashing me a questioning look. "Zaomi? Isn''t her name Aoi?" Shit i have to say something. "Hey i have a dragon tail, you got the wrong person so shoo shoo." i tried to casually say. "But did i ask about your tail?" Yui asked me with suspicion in her eyes. "And only my sister has black hair with weird eye colours." Yui continued.


    When did she get so observant? I made a huge mistake. "An..anyway you can''t stay here! There is only one bed anyway." i hastily replied back. "It''s okay onee-chan! I can sleep with you!" Yui happily said while throwing her bag on my bed. "He..hey!" i tried to stop her but was stopped by Aria. "Your name isn''t Zaomi?" she asked angrily while crossing her arms.     There was plant stem in my mouth grabbing my tongue, not allowing it to move. "I learned this spell just for you." Aria continued as she walked towards me slowly. "Ahhhh i been refraining myself from sucking your blood since it was too addictive but it seems like i can''t control myself today because someone make me mad you know."


    I was pinned down to the floor and when Aria sat on me. I tried to struggle but it was in vain. The plant was stretching me so much that if i moved, it would hurt. "Ara does it hurt? But my heart hurts more you know... you was my first friend." Why the fuck is she getting so emotional for! It''s not like i killed her whole family or something. "So i shall be divulging in your blood today." Aria whispered into my ear before she bit my neck with her 2 fangs.


    Ahhh it hurts man. I watched movies you know and when i see someone getting sucked gently from the neck, it didn''t depict the actors in pain unless it was a violent vampire sucking out the blood.     I clearly could not answer her and she knew that when she asked me. "No answer? Does that mean that you want more blood to be sucked?" Aria said with a evil grin. She tried to reach down to my neck with her mouth but i didn''t let her. I kept swinging my head which the horn kept her at bay. "Ho rebellious now are we?" and with that she grabbed the side of my head with her hands and stopped my swinging motion. After that, footsteps were soon heard coming this way. Yes! Help is on the way!


    "Tch looks like my time is up." Aria said and the plants started disappearing. "Gah Aria! What was that for!" i tried to stand but i stumbled and fell into Aria''s arms. "Hehe, that was my revenge!" she said excitedly, all her emotion from before was gone. She then gently put my down on my bed before going out of my room. "Your punishment is not over!" Aria said over her shoulder before leaving.


    Before Yui arrived, i fell into sleep from being drained. I woke up the next day. Argh so heavy what''s this on me. I pulled off my blanket and Yui was sleeping with her head on my chest. "Wake up." i said to Yui while gently shaking her. "Mmmm onee-chan?" Yui said half asleep. "Why do you want to share a room with me? Don''t you want to stay with your other sister?" i asked her. "Ehhhh but you are my big sister! Rika is just a sister to me." Yui said with a half happy smile. "I see." Does that mean she likes me as her sister or something?


    Or maybe this is a plot by my devious siblings who might be trying to find out my secrets for who knows. I must be on my guard when i am around her. "Well i am going out first. See you later." i waved to her before dressing up and going outside my room. "Wait!" Yui shouted but i ignored her and continued walking. Winter holiday had already started and i had big plans for myself.


    I want to level up since i am still level 1 you see. As i was walking towards the gate of the academy, i noticed a large crowd of people gathering at the gate but i just ignored them and continued walking on. "Hmm isn''t that the girl with 2 tails?" a unknown voice muttered to himself.


    I also wanted to test out my sword against real monsters. I better find a dungeon or a cave before i use it though since i don''t want anyone to see. As i was walking deeper into the forest, i came across a cave. Should i venture down there? I have enough supplies to last me for at least 3 days. Well whatever and with that, i ventured into the cave. "Why is she going inside this dungeon famed for stopping adventurers from getting it''s treasure?" a unknown voice was heard from behind a tree near the cave entrance.


    Should be fine to take it out now and i unstrapped my hilt and activated it. The bright flash filled the dark cave before the blade finalized into it''s curved blade shape with twin blades. The light emitted from the energy sword was enough for me to see in the cave even though the blade was black. The cave''s height was about 5 meters high and 7 meters in width. It was a tunnel that was going deeper and deeper inside.


    Why am i not afraid? Cause i have my trusty sword! SCHEEE a inhuman shriek came from deeper in the cave. Before long, i heard the thundering footsteps stopping in front of me. There was about 50 trolls that was about 4 meters high, their head almost touching the ceiling. That''s a lot of them. Time to test out my new skills. Sword Dance!


    8 more energy sword appeared over head me with all of them glowing with black colour. "So cool!" i shouted in the cave. My voice echoed on and on and on while the trolls slowly surrounded me. I send 4 swords going clockwise direction around me while sending the other 4 going anti-clockwise in a circular motion around me. It was going so fast that each sword was like a black blur going past. I am like a damn beyblade now.


    None of the trolls moved except one. It charged towards me but as it passed through the black translucent barrier like wall, the trolls stopped moving after passing through and just collapsed. No blood spluttered out or anything. Although it''s skin was full of cauterized scar and the smell of burning flesh filled the cave.


    The troll was sliced into pieces but the intense heat cauterized the skin back although all the internal organs would have most likely been sliced and burned. After that, none of the other troll moved. They only stared at me with eyes full of burning hate.


    "If you won''t come, i will!" i shouted and with that i started running through them. The blades stayed circling around me even though i was moving. As i ran at them, trolls felled with the smell of burning flesh. Soon other trolls started running away from me. After killing about 37 trolls, the rest had disappeared into the darkness. Whew, that was hard work.... not. That was sooo easy like wow. ''Ting'' and a message appeared in front of me. ''Leveled up X35'' I leveled up so much! These trolls must have been high level.


    The illusion soon disappeared and i continued going down the tunnel. I soon arrived in a large room. A very large room. And in the middle of the room, there was light from the ceiling illuminating there. In the light, there was a humanoid black shape that seemed to look like a illusion but i knew what it was. A black eyed being. They take on humanoid forms but have black soulless eyes and emanate a sense of pure evil. They are suppose to be about tier VII. Their average level is about in the 90. As i locked eyes with it, it leaned back and let out a loud howl.

 Chapter 7: Dungeon

    It leaped high into the air and crashed down in front of me, sending me sprawling. It even cracked the floor upon landing. "That''s some crazy strength!" The big thing materialized a great sword made of darkness and swung it at me. I rolled away before the greatsword crashed down on where i was before. Shit if that hits me, i am a goner. I leaped back and used blazing tempest. "GAHHH!" the creature screamed in pain as it was engulfed by a vortex of spinning flames but it swung its great sword and it dissipated the vortex.


    "Shadow slash!" and i swung my energy sword in front of me. A huge burning scar appeared on the creature and i could hear the sizzling of the flesh. The creature clutched it''s chest before more darkness engulfed him, healing the wound. He has regenerative ability shit. "Sword dance!" and with that 8 energy sword floated around him. "CHARGE!" i commanded the sword as all the sword started zooming towards the creature. The creature started swing his great sword around like a tornado but the sword all pierced through him regardless anyway.


    "GAHH!" it screamed as all 8 sword got stuck inside it. The smell of burning flesh was filling up the room. "Blazing tempest!" and the creature got trapped inside the spinning vortex of flames again. It slowly fell over backwards before the flames and swords dissipated. Whew that was intense. The darkness around the creature started melting off and a skeleton appeared in it''s place.


    I walked towards the skeleton and it appeared clean and white. Not dirty or cracked or any signs of wear and tear. ''Ting'' leveled up X4. "What! I defeated a boss like monster and i leveled up 4 times only! What the fuck! Was this piece of shit actually weak?" i shouted angrily to myself. Status!

    Leveled up so much yet stats increased by a small amount. Still a increase though i thought to myself as i tried to stay positive. I started walking towards the exit before i realized that a golden sword appeared which was stuck in a rock. Hmmmm, a legendary sword maybe for my reward? I walked towards it and tried to pull it out but it didn''t moved in the slightest. I started getting frustrated and slashed it my Arbiter in anger. It sliced through cleanly, cutting the golden sword into half.


    What the..... this sword is useless! I threw the top half of the sword across the room and it bounced off the wall.  What a bummer. Just as i was about to leave the room, i noticed the skeleton''s finger sparkling. Upon a closer look, there was a ring on it. "It least i will take the ring as a reward." i grumbled to myself before going to the exit. As i started making my way up to the surface, i realized that it was going down instead after awhile.


    Did i go to the wrong direction or something? I came across a two way path splitting junction. Hmm, left side seemed to have brick walls and the right side seemed to be more rocky walls. I chose the left side and continued on my journey. All this time, i kept my energy sword activated as it was too dark to see but as i continued making my way down, it seemed to get brighter but i kept it on anyways.


    Surprisingly i did not run into any small fries. I wonder why? The tunnel slowly got bigger until it opened up into a large area complete with a small lake and forestation. Is this suppose to be a underground lake or something? At the top of the room, there was a large crystal glowing brightly while radiating warmth.


    There was small wild life here. There were insects and fishes could be seen in the lake. While i was admiring the view, i noticed that there was a small island with a chest in the middle of the lake. Should i swim across it? Nah too risky. There will probably be guardians or something. Can''t use my lightning magic to shock whatever is in the water since i am underground.


    I decided to put the tip of the energy sword underwater. As it went under, steam immediately erupted and started to boil the surrounding water. Suddenly the water erupted about 7 meters away from me and a huge form stood towering over me. Whoa, it was my first time seeing a hydra. It had golden scales with it''s signature 9 heads. There was back fins going from the heads down to the tail. It stood menacingly over me before it opened it''s mouth and spoke.


    "What in the blazers are you doing!" the hydra screamed at me with a deep voice. "Here i was taking a nice long nap and some random person comes up and starts boiling the water, sending damn vibrations throughout the entire lake, waking me up!" the hydra continued it''s rant with anger. All 9 heads were talking together so it amplified the sound.


    "One job! I gave one job to that damn black thing to guard against intruders and it can''t even take care of a brat like you!" "Hey! Watch it fish face and don''t call me a brat!" i retorted back. "What you want a piece of me?" the hydra hissed at me. "Hell yeah! Give me a piece of you!" i scoffed. "Interesting..... I have not have a lively talk like this since 300 years ago. Everyone would cower in fear and would ignore me but you are different so i might listen to one of your request." "Well then, i want the treasure on that island over there." i demanded while pointing at it.


    "Ahhhh so you want the treasure." the hydra concluded. "Do you even know what that is?" "Uhh nope i don''t but i am taking it either way." i replied back. "Sorry no can do so prepare to die!" the hydra suddenly shouted out before launching a green liquid from one of it''s mouth at me. I just managed to jump out of the way before it hit me. The green substance started melting the ground i was on. Shit it is acid. "I am invincible! Even if you cut off my head i will grow it back!" it roared at me before breathing fire at the ground where the acid was.


    The acid and the fire had a chemical reaction which caused me to be blown into the water. I know that as long as i burn the part where the head was cut off, it won''t grow a new one. At least that''s what the myth said. "Sword dance!" and with that 8 sword appeared around me. "Think cutting all my head together will work!" the hydra roared before jumping back into the water.


    I stood tensed, trying to pinpoint where it would appear. Just then, behind me the ground caved in and the hydra appeared looking proud before spitting acid at me from all 9 heads. I immediately started rotating all my swords in front of me. The acid bounced off the spinning swords with the acid being deflected away. Before the hydra could use it''s fire breath, i used the illusions to cut off each head in a instance, leaving one head behind.


    "Wahahah did i not tell you it is meaningless to even try and cut off my head?" roared the hydra. As the hydra was going on and on, i noticed the area where it been cut off was burning up and not allowing the regeneration to take place. "What have you done to me!" the hydra panicked as it realized that it still had no grown back it''s heads.


    "Well goodbye pathetic hydra." i said to it but before i could cut off it''s last head, it quickly dived underwater and swam away at breakneck speed. Tch, free exp ran away. I started making my way to the island with the chest. The chest was decorated with gold scriptures. Time for my reward, i said to myself before opening the chest.


    Inside the chest was a small purple pill with a note beside it. The note read, eat this pill and get power! made by master alchemist. Hm.......... bloody suspicious. I should destroy this pill instead of doing what the note says. Whatever, let''s try it and with that, i swallowed it.


    "Hehehe, that idiot ate it." a voice with glee came from the hydra. "A weak brat like you would have your body breakdown before you even get the power." the hydra continued. The hydra was deep underwater, cradling it''s burned neck. After i swallowed it, i felt like vomiting. It was as if this body wanted to reject the pill. I kept on and for hours and hours then the feeling finally stopped and i felt fine after that. Nothing changed........ what the fuck. Wasted my time. Better leave this hell hole and with that, i went back to where i came from and made my way up.


    "Huh? She is still alive?" the hydra questioned himself. "She should have died. What sorcery is this!" and the hydra continued to ponder on it''s own. "Ahhhh sunlight." i stretched as i had finally reached the exit. It had been a whole day already inside the dungeon. That was small though. One easy tunnel all the way to that weak hydra.


    I made my way back to my room and lied down to get some rest. Let''s think about what i gained from that trip. I gained 39 levels and ate a pill that had no visible effect. Oh and that ring too. Wonder what it does. I took out the ring from my pocket and wore it on my of my finger. Nothing seems to be happening though. Sigh.....what a bummer and i took off the ring and placed it on one of my tail since my tail was thin enough for it to slip in to nearly the base.


    Soon i fell asleep while thinking about my trip. I woke up the next morning with Yui sleeping next to me as usual. I got up and went to have breakfast after showering and changing into my casual attire which was shorts with plain t-shirt. I was eating a salad when someone sat across from me.


    "So how was your day?" Aria asked me while sitting across me. "I uh listen, the reason why i didn''t tell you" "I know Zaomi. It is pretty obvious that you had to hide your identity because of your tail right and your family didn''t want to link you to them." Aria interrupted me. "Huh? How do you know that?" i asked in confusion. "Well i deduced it from all the facts so i apologize to you for doing all that okay?" Aria asked. Wow her deduction skill is decent for her age. "Yeah i accept your apology and i apologize too." i replied. "I accept as well." she said with a smile. And thus, that fiasco was over.


    "Why are you still wearing that pathetic looking outfit!" Aria suddenly screeched when i was eating. "But it''s comfortable." "That''s it! We are going shopping today with your sister!" "Ehhhh! No way!" i tried to protest but it was no use. She dragged me back to my room to get Yui before going back out. "We are going shopping? Yay shopping with big sister!" Yui celebrated. "Where are we going?" i asked Aria as she pulled me along while Yui tagged along behind. "First, we are going to get some clothes." "What! That''s boring! Let''s go look around instead." i tried to resist but i was still pulled to a expensive looking store.


    "I don''t have any money!" i lied but Yui interrupted me. "I can buy for big sister!" "There you go." Aria chuckled before going inside. After we went in, we were treated like VIPs because Yui was recognized here. I was forced to dress up in many different outfits which was tiring and embarrassing for me. "Kyah you look so cute in that outfit with your long black hair!" Aria shrieked while Yui agreed while pouting saying that i looked better than her. I was wearing a gothic lolita outfit. I was forced to wear it out while they threw away my shorts and t-shirt. They also bought other dresses and skirts before leaving the store.

 Chapter 8: Dimensional ring

    "This is so uncomfortable to move in!" i complained as we walked down the road filled with people bustling about their daily activities. I was in the lolita outfit that i been forced to wear after they threw away my comfortable shorts. "It''s so hot in it as well!" i continued to complain. "Ehh but you look cute in that." Aria replied back smugly. "I agree as well!" Yui chimed in. "A girl should look elegant and not like some male!" Aria scolded me.


    "Comfort is more important than looks to me!" i declared. "Idiot! If you don''t look appealing, you won''t be able to get a husband!" Aria continued scolding. "Hu....husband! No! I am not getting a husband and over my dead body!" I retorted. "Let''s go eat now." i suggested, trying to change the subject. "Let''s go then." Aria replied.


    We found a place to eat and after that we parted ways. They went on back while i stayed around to find a shop to identify the ring that i found in the dungeon. After looking for awhile, i came across an antique shop beside the blacksmith.


    "Excuse me? Anyone here?" i asked in a loud voice in the empty shop. "Ahh hello youngster, what can i do for you?" an elderly woman came out from the back of the shop. "I need to have this ring identified." "Ahh the cost is 20 slivers." the old woman rasped. "i have it." "Everything seems to be in order then. Hmmm, this ring seems to be a high grade storage ring." "Storage ring! How much can i store in it?" i asked excitedly. "You will have to test it out yourself miss and to use it, just imagine yourself taking something out from air."


    After that, i left the shop and headed back to the dorm. Holy shit! I finally have something like that. Can''t wait to test it out after i get back. While i was getting back to the dorm, i ran into the red haired guy. "Hello 2 tailed dragon." he spoke to me. "Eh hello err whats your name again?" i coldly asked. "How mean. My name is Sora! Remember?" "Nope i don''t. Sorry." I replied before trying to walk away.


    "Want to go out to have dinner?" he asked while following me. "I already ate." i objected and waved him goodbye before sprinting away. That guy was annoying sheesh. Finally got back to my room without any other trouble. Time to test out the ring. I imagined taking something out but nothing happened. I tried again but still nothing happened. Then a portal appeared in front of me with inside being all white.


    What the hell is this? What if instead of it just holding items, for mine i can own a room in another dimension? I quickly got excited again and i jumped in without thinking much. The area i was in was all white. The floor white, the walls white and the ceiling white. It was a room that was almost endless. This is the shit man. I knew that black thing had to drop something awesome like this. With this another dimension, i can do whatever i want in here and no one will ever bother me!


    The storage space also seems endless, like a dessert to me. What of i can build stuff here and take it out later? I started getting excited from all the prospective of using it. Now then, what should i do with the remaining astral alloy? Should i make a sniper rifle or a pistol or maybe a assault rife? I don''t have enough to make all types of weapon. Since i use my energy sword for close combat, i should go with the sniper right? I always wanted to use a sniper anyway.


    What type of sniper should i built then? This is a fantasy world with dragons and shit with armors so i should go with the anti-material sniper rifle right? The Barrett M82A1. I mean it can go through walls right? What about the bullets? Let''s worry about that after i actually built the Barrett. I took out the chunk of astral alloy that i took with me before i entered this dimension.


    I placed the metal down far away from me before i used a full power blazing tempest on it. The fire vortex was giving off heat like crazy but it did not seemed to affect the ground at all. I started shaping the metal into the separate parts that i would need to build me a Barrett. After cooling down the parts, i proceeded to assemble the parts with my knowledge of course.


    And there we go! A fully functional weapon. The overall length was about 145cm and had flip up sights. Now bullets are the hard part. Where do i find the materials to male them? What can i substitute gun powder for as well? Maybe a small magic stone with explosive magic enchanted on it? i will have to do some experiments but for now, i am tired so i put down the weapon on the floor and opened back up a portal back to my room.


    I also had used up all the astral alloy. Next time, i want to build machines but i can''t build it on my own. I would have to find help first. I lied down on my bed to ponder about what to do next before the door burst opened and Yui came bouncing in. She came onto the room and jumped onto the bed. "Hey Yui, why do you keep sticking me? Why not go hang out with Rika or something?" I asked Yui.


    "Because i want to spend time with big sister." Yui replied while cuddling me. "Hmm i see." and with that i fell asleep. The next morning, when i woke up, Yui was already gone. I headed back to town to buy more material for making bullets. I went around buying lots of steel alloy and magic stones with explosive magic sealed inside. I started heading back by a shortcut when some thugs surrounded me.


    "Well well well what do we have here?" one of the thug sneered at me. "You must be either brave or stupid to walk through the our territory." he continued. "Get out of my way you faggots." i casually asked them. "You don''t seem to understand what situation you are in miss. I think you should pay with your body." "You fucking pedophiles damn that''s disgusting!" "What did you say!" "Hold it newbie, let me take care of this. She will be a beauty in the future so why don''t we sell her?" a new bigger thug came out behind. Tch, wasting my time.


    "How about you get the fuck lost?" i retorted back. "Tch we will teach you a lesson you won''t forget! Grab her!" the thug shouted in anger. I quickly took out my energy sword and activated it. The thug stopped moving as the stared at the glowing blade. "Come on then cowards." i taunted. "Tsk we have no choice but to hurt you now since you resist." the big thus said before taking a sword.


    He charged at me alone with his sword swinging. I intercepted his blade by cutting it into half and continuing my slash through his chest. "Gah!" the big thug screamed as his clothes caught on fire and his internal organs being burnt. He dropped to the floor and wriggled about. "So weak. Sword dance!" and i made the 8 swords cut down the remaining thugs. "AHhh" the thugs screamed as some had their arms cut off while others were in pain from the burn. The 16 thugs were reduced to 1. "You are the last one you know?" i said to him cutely while folding my arms.


    "Mo...monster!" he screamed at me while crawling away backwards from me. I slashed both his legs off in one stroke. "Arara you don''t have your legs anymore it seems." The thug looks down in horror as he found out his legs were severed. "Since you are going to die, let me use you for an experiment." i smiled at him. "AHhhh my legs! It hurts!" cried out the thug as snots were running down from his nose and tears going down his cheek.


    "The experiment is simple. All you need to do is stay alive for as long as you can." i walked towards and and pierced stomach slowly with the energy sword. The smell of burning flesh immediately filled the air with the man''s screaming as well. I kept the blade in him it continued to burn him from inside out. He started convulsing with blood coming out from mouth. The flesh around the thug was turning black.

    I deactivated the sword and walked out from the deep ally way like any other normal person would. A while after i left the ally, a scream was heard from it. "Somebody help! There was been a murder here!" Soon people started crowding around to see what was happening. "Urgh who could have done this? The wound is terrible!" a random passerby said. The bodies were taken in for the cause of death and experts found the wound to be the same type they found on the tree and rocks where they found the astral alloy.


    There was a serious meeting going on in one of the meeting rooms in the castle. "We need to find this beast and kill as soon as possible!" the minister of defense argued. "But this beast might have the secret to having god''s metal!" another person argued back. "The people''s safety is more important!" "The people that was killed was thugs weren''t they?" "It might target a innocent person this time!" "Silence!" the king yelled. "We will capture this beast alive! THis meeting is adjourned." and with that everyone stood up and headed for the door.


    After i got back from the meaningful trip, i went inside my dimensional space. i started crushing the magic stones into powder form to try use it as the gunpowder for the bullet. I started melting the steel and casting it into the shape of the bullet that i knew from my skill. After that i placed the powder in the chamber for it and sealed it with the igniter.


    The bullet type is the .50 BMG. I made 10 of it and loaded it into a cartridge that i made with the bullets. I reloaded the sniper, aim into the human shaped board that i placed about 1000 meters away and fired. The recoil has not that strong as i was able to handle it. The bullet hit it''s mark and the ''bang'' sound was still emitted which echoed around the place.


    "Success!" i jumped in joy as i held my Barrett. I always want one when i was still on Earth. I proceeded to make more bullets and i kept 2 cartridge in the belt that i bought which was tied close to thee energy sword. I placed the Barrett in a case which i wore it like a bag. Whew, i feel like a soldier heading to battle. I have 30 shots in case i need it.


    I exited my space and headed for the cafeteria. " Zaomi, what''s with that weird case you are carrying?" Aria appeared from behind, asking me. "This is my new weapon." i replied proudly. "What is it?" Aria asked, curious. "Secret!" i said cheerfully before running towards the cafeteria. "Hey! Come back!" Aria shouted, attempting to chase me. "Where do you think you are going?" Mr Henderson appeared from now where, stopping Aria. You failed in your magic theory exam so you have to attend more lessons during the holidays!" "Nooooo." and with that, Aria was dragged away.


    I sat down alone and ordered my usual when someone walked up to me. "Heh, even in school no one wants to talk to you eh?" a familiar voice came from behind me. Oh god a annoying pest has appeared i thought to myself. "Well then do you want to be my friend Rika?" i asked in a taunting voice. "You got to be joking! Why would i want to be friends with you?" Rika said in a disgusted voice. "Then why are you talking to me?" "To see your pathetic face!" "Haha nice try kid. Better luck next time." i laughed.


    "Rika who are you talking to?" a voice came from behind Rika. "A trash." she replied back to whoever was that. "Don''t concern yourself with trashes my beautiful Rika." a pampering voice came from a boy that looked around the same age as Rika. "And you trash, you should be happy that Rika even talked to you!" the boy shouted at me. Woah there, this kid is head over heels for Rika.


    "It''s okay Rei, you don''t need to talk to the likes of her." Rika said to the boy. "Get a room you two." i scoffed at them. "How dare you talk to the princess of this country in that tone!" Rei shouted at me, causing people to stare at us. "Quiet down, you are disturbing other people." "Bu...but Rika this trash." "Never mind that, let''s go." and Rika pulled the boy away while the boy was glaring at me.


    Damn that kid is crazy. Still didn''t even see my little brother before, not that i care though. ''Attention everyone, please proceed to the underground shelter immediately. The city is under attack by Rishon eagle riders.'' What the fuck. How has Rishon reached all the way here? Don''t tell me they reached our water space with carriers and launched an aerial assault. Why hasn''t there been any warning before anyway.


    Probably the king trying to cover up. Sigh... While everyone was rushing to go to the shelter, i calmly walked out of the dorm building and into the forest. Time to test out my new weapon against birds. I climbed up a high tree which also helped to conceal me. I took out my sniper from the case and switched off safety mode.


    As i used the scope to look down on the city, there was lots of eagles flying around while battling wyverns. Some also used fire spells to burn down houses and shops. Other eagle riders landed and proceeded to slay the people. Damn this is like a scene from a movie. I could see Anten soldiers rushing to fight against Rishon soldiers that landed. There were wizards and archers trying to shoot down the enemy as well.


    I took aim at one of the eagle that was approaching the academy. As i flew overhead me. i shoot it through the belly of the eagle which then went into the rider. The eagle fell out of the sky. As i shot, a large ''bang'' sound echoed off into the distance. One down, 29 more to go since i have 29 bullets left.


    Many riders stopped fighting to locate where the large unnatural sound came from. Shit, i didn''t expect the people of this world to have never heard a similar sound before. I continued to snipe eagles down as the tree concealed me perfectly. There were enemy trying to find me from above the air but could not. One of the eagle rider was frustrated and jumped down onto the ground which then, he spotted me.


    "So you are the cause of the sound. Every time a sound goes off, one of my men dies. I am going to have to ask you to surrender or you will pay the price. More and more soldiers started surrounding the tree i was in. I activated the ring and placed the sniper inside it with the cartridges and the energy sword before he noticed it.


    "What happens if i surrender?" i asked hoping that someone will come since many soldiers were gathered here. "Surrender now or die!" shouted the man. I knew that there was no chance of me managing to kill them all as there was mages riding the eagles which was flying above me and many foot soldiers on the ground.


    "Can''t you let me go? I am only like 9 years old you know." "Hmm she seems to have black hair which is unusual for the beast kins. Maybe she is someone special?" i overheard them talking to each other. "She also has different eye colour in her left and right eyes. I think the prince would give us a huge reward since she looks unusual, yet cute." they continued.


    Fuck. I can''t let them catch me. "Overhere!" i heard a scream in a distance before thundering footsteps could be heard coming this way. I sighed in relief before something pricked my neck. Ouch. I took out the thing that was stuck to my neck which turned out to be a dart. Shit. "Good job!" the men on the ground yelled to someone in the air. I feel dizzy shit. I tried to jump from to another tree but stumbled and fell down.


    The last thing i could remember was getting picked up and hung over another person''s shoulder before falling asleep from the drug and someone screaming my name.

 Chapter 9: Kingdom of Rishon

    "Urgh... where am i?" i groaned as i awoke from my slumber. I looked around my surrounding as i am in a metal cage. Seems like they took away my belt. No matter, they are probably taking me to the human continent. Free travel yay. Now i just have to sit tight and bail out at the right moment. I was not even tied up. I was not the only one in the cage though. There were others as well. "We are all going to get eaten!" a kid wailed. "Shut up kid, you are annoying all of us!" another prisoner shouted.


    Great, now i have to wait for a long time in this dirt hole. The sound of boots walking across the wooden floor got closer and closer to the one door that i could see. ''Creak'' "How are you doing?" a young soldier seemed to asked us sincerely. ''Fuck off!" one of the prisoner screamed. "Let us go!" another shouted. "Go fuck yourself!". "You guys sure are lively. That''s good." the soldier seemed to say happily before taking out five small bag about the size of the palm and threw it inside the cage.


    "That''s food. Not that there is enough for all of you." the soldier smirked before leaving. All of us were very hungry and many of them stared at the bags with hungry eyes. None of them moved while staring at each other. There was about thirty of us in the cage but the food seemed enough for only 15 people. Then one of the prisoner rushed forward to snatch the bags.


    The others reacted the same and soon, they were fighting among each other. Just for food, they fight over each other like everyone is an enemy. Some of the smarter ones like me were staying out of the fight. Then one of the people fighting rushed one of the people that was not participating in the fight. "You guys will steal the food the moment we are weak after fighting right!" one of the fighting person screamed before charging at the non-combatants.


    Damn some of them are crazy. One of them charged at me with anger in their eyes. I side-stepped and tripped him over, causing him painfully on his face. Well not my business so they can continue fighting for all i care. Anyone that attacked me received a painful landing on the cold hard floor.


    "ENOUGH!" one of the older one yelled. "Look at all of you! Fighting for food like animals!" he continued. "What we should do we split to food equally among each other even if we have to eat less! Shame on you people!" Many of them stopped fighting and looked down in shame while others glared hard at the old man.


    The old man then helped distributed the food equally among each people. "No thanks, i don''t need to eat it." i said politely. "You should eat as much as you can now youngster. The coming days are hard." the old man replied with a smile. "My name is Henry. What''s yours?" the old man continued. "Uhh my name is Aoi and i really don''t need it. You can give it to the kids or something." i advised.


    "Well god bless your soul." Henry croaked before walking away. No point using my fake name here do i? Soon, all of us were eating half a loaf of hard bread except me. "The food sucks!" one of the kid complained. "Hoho, it seems like you all shared the food even though there was not enough for all of you." the same soldier from before mused after he walked through the door.


    "So who helped to distribute the food equally?" the soldier continued to ask while smiling dangerously. "I just want to reward the person. That''s all so own up." "Me!" one of the prisoner shouted out. "Come on out. You are free to go." the soldier said while opening the gate. "So long suckers." the lying man yelled in joy at us before stepping out of the cage. "Free from this place that''s it." the soldier continued before taking his sword out of his scabbard and stabbing the man through his heart.


    The man fell down while the soldier placed his sword back into his scabbard. Then he left the room. Blood started pooling around the dead body. "Argh!" one of the kid vomited. "We are all going to die!" "Save me anybody!" The crowd started rambling again. I let out a sigh before going to the back corner of the cage and settling down there. "Are you not scared young Aoi?" Henry walked to me and asked. "Not really. It was expected." i replied back to him. "I see...." Henry muttered before going back to trying to calm the others down.


    A few hours later, many of them started dozing off after using their energy fighting and shouting. I realized that my ring was not on one of my tail. Fuck, where the fuck did it go. I made sure the ring can never be taken off. ''Ting'' ''New skill learned'' a voice was heard in my head. A new skill? What is it? "Skills!"

    Oh, it seems i somehow absorbed the ring and it became a skill instead of staying as a ring. Sweet. Wonder who owned this ring before me. The ring was empty though so it seemed like no one used it or maybe they emptied it out before throwing it away maybe? Who knows. I fell asleep as well after awhile.


    "Wake up! Rise and shine you pathetic animals!" someone was shouting at our cage. "Today''s the day where you arrive at our continent animals! Be grateful for even being able to step on our land!" a different solider was ranting on and on while splashing water on the prisoners that were still sleeping. "Everyone stand up and put on the handcuffs before getting out." the solider yelled before throwing a number of handcuffs at us. At first i wanted to make it look like it was locked but not but i decided not to.


    Three of the prisoners decided to do that and they headed out of the cage. The soldiers checked and when they found out it was not locked, they took out their sword and slashed at the prisoners that didn''t lock it. Looks like i was right on not taking chances. After we were checked and outside of the cage, we were led outside, onto the deck. We were on a carrier. Woah it looks like my previous world aircraft carrier except their is nests and it is not made of steel and instead, hardened wood.

    There was eagles everywhere on their nests on the deck. As we were walking across the deck, many soldiers came to watch us while some of them laughed and mocked at us. W were in a port which meant that we arrived. As we got off the carrier and climb aboard a horse pulled cage. Should i escape now? Not yet since there are too many people right now. I realized that all of the on-lookers as well as the soldiers didn''t have any animal ears or tails or even horns. Seems like we really are in a human country.


    We were brought through many small cities. Every time when we go through a city, the people would congratulate the soldiers and mock us while throwing trash at us. It took several days on the journey. No one in the group knew where we were being taken to. We reached the largest city we have ever seen which took a week to reach. It seemed like it was the imperial city. There was large walls surrounding the city with visible guards on top. We went through a huge gate that was impressive. The city overall was for more majestic looking than the beast kin imperial city.


    We were all taken to the castle and was brought down to the basements which was a prison. "What''s going to happen to us?" one of them asked the guard. "Shut up." the guard replied back, not even looking behind at us. "Henry, are you alright?" i asked him since he looked pale and tired. "Just old and tired." he replied back without any energy in his voice.


    Soon many guards came into the prison started making us stand in a line and face them. "Start the separation." a high ranking soldier said to the lower rankings. They started separating us into different cages. The old and sick looking ones were taken to another cage while the women and the men were separated as well. "There is a lot of sick ones in this batch sir." "Tch, no matter. More battery for us then." the high ranking soldier grunted before leaving.


    Battery? Does this mean the sick and the old were going to be used as energy source for something? Henry was in the sick and old category. The rest were going to be used as slaves i assume. "You there, the one with black hair. Come out!" the soldier ordered. I crawled out of the cage and two soldier, one at each side, dragged me out of the prison and put on handcuffs on me before handing me over to some maids.


    The maid looked at me in disgust as i was dirty and smelly from not showering for a long time. I was pulled to a place which seemed to look like the toilet before the maids started taking off my clothes. "He...hey what are you doing!" i shrieked at them. "We are going to clean you obviously. Is all of your people this dumb?" one of the maid scoffed at me. So rude! Damn this people.


    After they removed my outfit, they started using buckets of water and started splashing me with cold water while scrubbing me hard with a sponge. After they finished washing me, they put me in a outfit which was a dress that was white which reached down to my knees. My long black hair was wet and uncomfortable as it made the back of my dress all the way to the waist slightly wet.


    I was then brought to a large hall which i presumed was the throne room. After i went in, the maid went out and closed the door. There was someone sitting down on the throne. "Come and kneel before me!" the king commanded me in a booming voice. I walked closer to him but i didn''t kneel. "Hmm a troublesome one it seems." he muttered before looking down at me. "No matter then. What i want to know is why are you different from the average beast kin?" he questioned me in a commanding voice again. "Well i am only nine years old so how the fuck should i know you failure of life fat fuck!" i screamed at him.


    There was no one in the throne room and usually the throne room would be soundproof. I am going to gamble and kill him right here right now because why not? He probably underestimate me since i am a kid. "You sure are rude it seems unique one." he said. "Say goodbye to your life cause i am going to take it!" i shouted at him before  charging at him. I plan to take out the energy sword at the last moment but he suddenly disappeared and appeared behind the throne.


    "You think i didn''t take any precaution? Obviously you are special so one would assume something would be different from the usual beast kin." he mocked me while slowly taking out his sword which glowed out bright golden colour. I will make you submit and break your mind!" he casually said to me before disappearing and appearing in front of me, kicking me in the guts.


    i managed to block his kick with my arms but it blew me away about 3 meters away. "Urgh..." i groaned. He is certainly strong but i won''t lose! I took out the energy sword and activated it. "You must have some sort of skill that can act as a storage like a storage ring it seems. And i have never seen that kind of sword before. Where did you get it?" he asked me while swinging his sword around him slowly.


    "Heh since you are going to die here, i shall tell you the answer. From your mom!" i shouted at him before leaping at him, preparing to slash him. As expected, he tried to use his sword to block but mine cut through his like a hot knife cutting through butter. He noticed something is wrong and immediately teleported away. When he reappeared, he was holding half of the sword.


    "Impossible.... This sword is the holy sword that can never be destroyed!" the king yelled while staring at his sword in horror. "Your sword.... i must have it. Give it to me!" the king yelled at me hysterically before teleporting behind me and kicking me from behind. "Gahh!" i cried out as his kick seemed to have gotten stronger. "I will not kill you since you might know where more of this weapon is hidden." the king said. "Shadow Slash!" i cried out before the king could teleport again.


    This time i made a stabbing motion instead of a slashing motion and something pierced through his chest. There was smoke coming from the wound with the smell of the familiar burning flesh. "Gyahhh! What is this! Stop it!" the king cried out before casting a spell. "Hellfire Flare!" and in front of the king, a huge black magic circle appeared which then shoot out black flames at me. "Sword Dance!'' i immediately countered. Eight multiple sword appeared and formed a shield in front of me by spinning the blades very fast.


    The black flames crashed into the blades which was being dispersed into thin air. I was still holding the king in place with the Shadow Slash which i used it as a stab instead. By supplying more mana to the spell, the spell didn''t dispersed but continued to have a invisible blade stuck in the king''s chest. The clothes he was wearing was starting to burn away near the stab wound while one could see his flesh turning black and crumbling away at the stab wound. The king continued to cry out in pain which then he used another spell. "Perversion of mind!" he cried out which then caused me to get blacked out as he struggled to control my mind.


    My subconscious was fighting against the king for the control of my mind. "I won''t do that if i were you...." a dark voice has heard in the king''s head. "Wh...who are you!" "You are trying to invade my new home and i won''t allow that!" the voice yelled with tremendous force in the king''s head. "Arghhh!" the king cried out while clutching his head. The Shadow Slash had disperse long ago when i was knocked out. The king had taken that time to use drink a healing potion that didn''t do much except regrowing new skin although his internal organ was still burning away.


    The king then proceeded to invade deeper into my mind which then he encountered resistance. "You shall die." the dark voice continued as the king experienced a headache which was splitting his head literally. "AHHHHH!" the king gave out a bloodcurdling scream before his head was split into two. "You better buck up my host..........." the dark voice said with his voice getting smaller and smaller until it could not be heard anymore.


    "Urgh..shit my head. It fucking hurts..." i groaned as i looked around until the king''s body caught my eye. "What the fuck happen to him?" i wondered to myself before getting up and putting back my energy sword back into the dimensional space. Time to get out of here it seems. Now then how should i get out but before that, let''s pillage this room! I walked around the room, pocketing anything that seemed to be special or has high value.


    I also took the throne and put it inside the dimensional space because why not. After i pillaged the room, i proceeded to open the door that was at the other end of the room. After opening the door, there was a long hallway which then i proceeded to walk down. I came across many doors but i ignored them and continued walking down the hallway. Getting out has higher priority then pillaging or exploring.


    I heard footsteps coming from a corner which i was going to turn to. I quickly opened one of the door and hid inside it. I waited for the footsteps to be gone before i sighed in relief. I looked around my surroundings and realized that i was in a someone''s private bedroom. As i looked around, i saw a boy around the age of eleven staring at me from his bed.


    Probably the king''s son or something. I was deciding whether or not to kill him on the spot when he said, "You sure is pretty you know?" "Huh? I am a beast kin you know." i replied back in a ludicrous voice. "Doesn''t matter to me what race as long as they are pretty so may i know what are you doing?" he asked politely. "I am escaping from the palace." i answered without any hesitation since i was planning to kill him.


    "I know a way out. There is a secret passage that i always use to sneak out of the castle!" he excitedly told me. "Why are you helping me?" i asked since i was unsure whether this was a trap or not. "Because you are pretty!" he answered without even thinking much. Well even if it is a trap, i can escape from it easily as long as it doesn''t kill me instantly or something. "Here, under my bed there is a secret passage way all the way to the outside of the castle!" he told me. "Thanks!" i smiled at him before going to the passage.


    "Ma..may i know what''s your name before you go?" he asked. "It''s Aoi." i replied back before heading into the passage. If it was brighter in the room, one could see the prince blushing. "That kid sure is helpful and open minded." i voiced out my thoughts while walking while crouching. Soon, i could see a small trapdoor and i opened it and the smell of fresh air greeted my nose. "Ahhhh.... freedom!" i sighed out.


    As i looked around, i was directly outside of the castle wall. What has that boy been doing anyway by going out to town? i wondered to myself as i walked to a more isolated corner before taking out clothes that was in the closet in the throne room. Don''t ask me why there is a closet in the throne room. There was clothes of all sizes. I took out a my sized clothes and wore it while trying away the dress i was wearing.


    The outfit i was wearing was a gothic lolita dress which was like Rory Mercury outfit from Gate jietai. Why does the king even have this outfit? For his daughter maybe or maybe he is just a pervert. Just as i wore finished, a large alarm was heard from the castle. I guess the king''s body has been found. I also took out a dark robe which covered my entire body. I wore it and headed into the city.

 Intermission Chimera

    --------Meeting room in the Anten castle-----------------


    "Your majesty! The enemy has a new kind of ship!" a minister sitting at a meeting around a large round table said. "What makes it different from their old ones?" the king asked. "It seems that their hull plating has changed from enhanced wood to hardened steel. Even though it is significantly slowly, it can take a tremendous amount of damage before it can sink!" another minister replied who was the minister of defense. "It takes a long time to sink one." he continued. "So that''s how they reached our land." the king concluded.


    "That''s correct your majesty." the minister of defense replied in a grave voice. "How did we sink it?" the king asked. "The only way to sink it is to focus a point of the ship below the water level and concentrate fire on it while distracting the mages on board. After their new ships secured water space near our land, they launched their riders form their carriers." "How did we manage to make them retreat?"


    "The dragons helped your majesty. They appeared over the horizon and started blasting the ships with fire breaths. They kept on flying past and blasting it with fire until the metal plating started to heat up which then caused the interior of the ships to burn." "In the end, we had to rely on the dragons." the king said dejectedly. "We need to find a way to counter them. Begin research immediately!" the king continued before leaving the meeting room.


    "Say do you have any idea how to sink one effectively?" another minister asked the minister of defense. "Not yet but we will soon i hope." he replied before leaving the room as well. "It should be cost effective as well." the minister of finance added before leaving the room as well." "Why are you telling me this!" the minister of health exasperated.


    ---------In the academy------------


    After the attack from Rishon, everything was in disarray. There was damage to infrastructures, including the academy. Families that lost their loved ones were grieving while wanting revenge against those who did this. Aria was walking around looking for someone. "Zaomi where are you?'' she shouted worriedly. "Big sister Aria!" Yui called out to her as she came running towards her.


    "What''s wrong Yui?" "I saw big sister Aoi getting captured by the enemy!" Yui cried out frantically. "What! That idiot. I told her to stay inside." Aria muttered under her breath. "What are we going to do?" Yui continued. "What can we do? We have to inform your father or somebody." "I have already informed the king students." the headmaster informed them, appearing behind them suddenly.


    "Kyah!" Yui jumped in fright. "Please don''t appear so suddenly again please headmaster." Aria said. "Your father has already began preparations to counterattack the enemy. Rest assure youngsters." the headmaster continued, ignoring Aria before disappearing into thin air. "So all we can do now is sit tight and wait?" Yui asked? "Well not for me! I am going to join them when they depart for Rishon whether they like it or not." Aria concluded. "You should not follow me though. It''s too dangerous for you." Aria continued.


    -----------Planning room-------------


    "So how are we going to counter the new enemy armor plating?" a researcher asked the head of research department. "I should be the one asking you! Not me. Anyway, the armor plating is made out steel alloy with magic enhancement. First we need to somehow disable the enhancement or find a weak spot." the head said. "How about using the same tactics like the dragons?" another researcher asked. "Idiot! We can''t produce flames as hot as their breaths so that idea is out." the head replied annoyed.


    "I have an idea. How about developing a new weapon? Instead of using mages to attack directly, how about we make them power a weapon that can be more destructive than raw magic?" "And what type of weapon will that be?" the head asked, interested. "Maybe have multiple mages power a weapon which would cause a explosive stone to compress and spin around in a tube and after gaining enough speed, open the tube, letting the content out onto the enemy." the researcher said.


    "Then that way we might be able to penetrate the enemy''s ship armor with enough momentum and after penetrating, the explosive stone would explode." the head continued. "This might just work. We need to make a prototype right away. The king is expecting results from us in a few days. This meeting is adjourned." the head continued before standing up and leaving.

    "Listen to me!" i warned the man in shining armor as he was eating with his comrades. "What do you want kid?" he replied, looking annoyed. "There is undead in the forest! There might be other monsters too!" i yelled at him as he started laughing. "Hahahaa monster in the forest. What a joke. You think the king is lying? Cause i don''t think so. I think you just imagined the monsters while pissing your pants crying for your mama." the man in shining armor mocked.


    "Hey Jack, i think you should listen to the kid." one of his eating buddy interrupted. "Huh? You saying the king lied to us? That''s treason to even think like that! I should cut off your head right now!" roared Jack. "We need to fortify the place." i tried to say to him calmly, holding in my anger. "Fuck off kid. Go bother someone else before you get charged with treason." Jack replied back with venom in his voice before going back inside his tent.


    "That bastard!" Norio exclaimed angrily. "How is he the leader of this expedition!" Norio continued. "Who knows. Maybe he bribed someone?" Arisu suggested. "We have to warn the others even if he does not listen to us." i said before heading to where most of the adventurers were at. "Can i have your attention?" i shouted at them, silencing the chatter. "My party has encountered a group of undead in this forest. I suggest that you should not leave the camp and stay put." i continued.


    "You think we are fools!" an adventurer shouted back. "You are lying so that you can find all the loot aren''t you?" he angrily continued. Other people started jeering at me and throwing rubbish at me. "Listen!" i tried to say but they did not allow me to speak. "Fuck off kid! You think we were born yesterday? So what if you are from the trinity party. You must just be as greedy as others out here." another one yelled.


    "It''s no use." i said to my party members as i walked away from the area. "At least you tried." Arisu tried to comfort me. "If they are going to get killed, let them be. Let them reap what they sow." Norio angrily snarled while walking with us. As we were walking back to our tent, i noticed Jack giving me a smirk from the corner of my eyes. A few hours later, Jack announced the plan for the expedition.


    "One third of us is going to say behind while the rest of us are going to north and start exploring there. Anything you see useful, it''s yours to keep." Jack said to the anticipating adventurers. "Let''s move out!" Jack ordered and about 450 adventurers went with Jack to the north. We were also part of the expedition going north. The undead was at the south of the camp. I wonder what is at the north.


    We trekked through the dark jungle before reaching a clearing. "Well well what do we have here?" Jack exclaimed with glee as in front of us was a huge floating island high up in the air that we were not be able to see from base camp. There was many small islands serving as steps to the floating island. "Jackpot. Now we shall be making our way through the floating rocks to reach the main island." Jack said to the adventurers.


    The huge island was about 100 meters in the air. The small islands were in jumping distance although if one lost concentration, they would slip and fall. As we started going up, the steps we were using were getting lesser and lesser while the space between them grew. When we almost reached the top, one boy slipped and fell. His body splattered against the ground below. His body has exploded from the impact, spewing his guts and organs everywhere with blood.


    "Noooo!" a boy cried out in grief. "That''s too bad. Who ask him to be so excited and lose his footing. Nothing can be done know. Move along people." Jack said with a smile that seemed forced. We all reached the top soon. What greeted us was a huge glowing sapphire rock that glowed radiantly. Upon seeing this, Jack immediately rushed towards the rock and picked up fragments of it. The fragments were floating in air as if there was zero gravity.


    When Jack plucked the rock floating in mid air, he also started floating. "Holy shit! I am flying!" yelled out Jack in excitement. Soon many adventurers were rushing to get a rock of their own and many of them started floating as well. "Wheeee i am flying!" one of them shouted as he continued to rise. "Should we take some too?" asked Norio. "Not yet. I have a bad feeling about this." i replied back.


    A large roar filled the air as more and more adventurers took the stones. "Uh, what was that?" Norio asked. Something huge swoop down on an adventurer that was too high up. It swooped out of the black clouds in the sky and dragged the boy into the cloud. What followed was a terrible scream from the boy, ending with a sickening ''splat'' sound. Body parts rained down on the others below as they all looked at the cloud in disbelief.


    "Well does that answer your question?" i said to Norio sarcastically. "Nope! Didn''t see since it was flying too fast." he replied back calmly. "How can you guys still act calm!" Arisu said hysterically. "We faced similar monsters like this before." Norio replied back with a smirk. While everyone was still staring at the cloud, a huge black figure swooped down on the next nearest adventurer. "Everyone attack! Use any spells or arrows you have!" screamed Jack as he started fire off spelled of his own into the cloud cover.


    Bolts of flames and ice while other various spells plus some arrows were hurled blindly through the cloud cover. An explosion occurred which blew away the cloud cover. A huge black figure was visible after the cloud was blown away. A 20 meter long and 5 meter high creature could be seen. "Th..that''s a Chimera!" i gasped as i watched it with horror. The creature had huge black leathery wings, each spanning a length of 30 meters. It had a lion''s body and head with a long tail spanning 10 meter which was a snake and on the body, there was a goat''s head as well.


    "Chimeras are not suppose to have wings aren''t they?" Arisu asked while trembling. "The stronger ones do have wings but this is too big!" exclaimed Norio in disbelief. "Ahhh RUN!" Jack yelled before using a wind spell to push him away as he was still holding onto the stones. The ones that did not know magic bu had picked up the stone and gotten too high to just drop it begged the ones with magic to help them as well but many of them ran away by themselves, not helping anyone that needed it.


    "GRAHHHH!" roared the Chimera loudly before diving into a group of adventurers that was holding onto a mage. The Chimera opened it''s lion mouth and green fire rushed out of it''s mouth which instantly roasted the group. While it was flying by, the goat''s head opened it''s mouth a plucked an adventurer which happened the be nearby. The snake swallowed another person whole. There was total chaos. People was running everywhere while some were pushing others down the stepping steps to get down for those who did not picked up the rocks.

    "We have to do something!" Norio yelled. "We have to damage the wings so that it can''t follow us!" he continued to yell. "I agree! Let''s go!" i yelled back before taking out my great sword. "Dragon Rupture!" i yelled as my sword started glowing brighter and brighter until it hurts to look at it. This caught the Chimera''s interest and started flying towards him. "Release!" i yelled out immediately and i slashed my great sword at the incoming beast, sending out a slash towards it.


    The Chimera rushed straight towards it which the bright slash entered the beast body as it tried to fly upwards to dodge it. Blood erupted from the wound across it''s chest. Golden blood was raining down on us. "Redemption!" Norio cast a spell on Arisu which boosted the power of her next spell tremendously. "Frostfire Missiles!" yelled Arisu next. Usually 10 homing missiles would appear but thanks to Norio, 20 appeared instead. "Aim for the wings!" i said to Arisu. "GO!" Arisu cried out and the blue missiles covered in flames homed in on the right wing of the Chimera and all 20 exploded on it with a bright blue explosion.


    The Chimera cried out in pain as it''s right wing was torn and burning from the cold flames. It crashed landed onto the island and caused massive amount of smoke to rise. "Everyone run away quickly!" Norio yelled to the onlookers. "We started making our way down the steps and reached the bottom as a large roar was heard from the floating island. All of us were running back to base camp.


    After the Chimera attacked, only about 200 adventurers was left alive that returned from the expedition. There was only about 500 left. After we reached base camp, many of them was crying while others were trying to get some answers from Jack since he was the leader of this expedition. We had a day left before the portal would open up again to let us out. "I don''t know anything!" Jack yelled at the group of people pestering him about the Chimera. "How can you not know? I bet you knew and used us as meat shields so that you could escape!" a person snarled at Jack.


    "Get out of here!" one of them screamed at Jack before he started preparing a fireball at his hand. The rest started readying their own spell as well to us it on Jack. "Fine i will leave but don''t regret it you fools!" Jack yelled out before walking back to the forest. "Was that okay?" Arisu asked us. "Serves him right!" Norio said. "Now we have to hope that we can survive until 16 hours has past." i muttered.


    "Let''s start fortifying the place!" Norio shouted at the rest of the adventurers. "We have to be ready in case more monsters come. Prepare simple traps like pit trap or something like that." he continued. The remaining survivors started moving about setting traps and some resting or nursing their wounds. About 3 hours later, there was numerous pit traps and barricades made with spike from ice or trees and from the ground as well.


    "13 hours left." i muttered to myself while building fortification around the base. "ARUUUU!" a howl rang through the base from far away. A watchtower we built with a spotter on it shouted at us. "Monsters incoming! It''s about 100 monsters of all kinds!" screamed the spotter to us. "Oh shit!" someone cursed. "Get to your positions!" Norio commanded the adventurers. Everyone scrambled to their own place. Warriors would fight near the barricades while mages would support them from behind. The newbies would try to lure monsters to the traps laid out or help the wounded.


    A few minutes later, the thundering footsteps could soon be heard coming from the forest, all around the base and soon after the monsters started coming out from the forest. There was all kinds of monsters that was charging towards the base. Majority was undead base creatures. "Hold your ground!" Norio yelled out to the waiting mages. The monsters came closer every second and when they reached the first layers of trap, Norio shouted out. "All mages fire at will!"


    Bolts of flames, shards of ice and many other types of spells were launched towards the horde that was approaching. The first undeads was roasted while some was frozen in place. Most of these undeads were from the slaughter that the Chimera caused. Many undead fell into the pit traps and were stuck there. "Archers fire at will!" Norio sonce again commanded as monsters such as ogres and hobgoblins started emerging as well.


    Bodies of undeads and monsters were falling down everywhere. It seemed like the warriors didn''t even had to fight them once until the drakes started coming out. Drakes are the subspecies of wyverns although they are considered as savage creatures which cannot be tamed. Drakes possess no wings but had sturdy armor of scales with acid spraying attacks. They are about 5 meters in length usually.


    "Drakes spotted!" i yelled out at Norio. Many mages started concentrating their attacks on the drakes that started appearing. The drakes can withstand tremendous amount of punishment before succumbing to death. A drake roared and spit acid at the closet person which was a warrior that was hiding behind the barricade of spikes. "AHHH!" the man screamed as the acid landed on him accurately. The helmet he was wearing started steaming and melting, burning his head. The acid also started eroding the armor he was wearing, slowly eating through the armor until it reached his flesh. He started convulsing on the ground before dying.


    "I will handle the drakes!" i yelled to Norio before launching myself at it. While i was in mid air, above the drake, i yelled out "Mystic Rupture!" My great sword started glowing in a dark blue before i slashed down at the drake below me. "GRAH!" the drake cried out as it got cut into two. "Well that''s one down 15 more to go." i muttered to myself.


    The drake had acted as the shield against the mages attacks for the monsters which led the monsters nearer to the base. "Warriors! Prepare for battle!" Norio shouted, acting as the commander. As undeads surged towards the adventurers, they readied their spears and swords and charged at the horde. "Abjuration of the spirit!" Norio casted the spell on the warriors. "Let''s do this!" "Woah! I feel lighter!" the warriors said in awe.


    The undead and the warriors clashed at the border of the base. Mages continued to bombard the monsters behind. We started pushing back after monsters stopped appearing from the forest but with a huge cost. Many warriors was killed by the undead as most of them was inexperienced in battle. There was only about 100 of us left. The battle lasted about 2 hours.


    Bodies were strewn everywhere. Undead bodies mingled with human bodies. Why did the monsters attack us in the first place? i wondered to myself. "Arisu have you finished gathering mana for summoning your golem?" i asked her. "Yes, now i will use it in case of emergency to act as bait." Arisu replied while looking haggard. The remaining adventurers were all worn down and some started falling asleep.


    "Thirty more minutes until the gate opens." Norio announced to the survivors. "BLEHHH!" a goat''s roar shook the ground. "Is that what i think it is?" Arisu asked with her face pale. "It''s over...." someone moaned as he fell to his knees. The Chimera landed right outside the base while scanning the survivors with it''s eyes. When it spotted Arisu, it became angry as it still remembered what happened before.


    "Arisu! Summon the golem now!" i yelled at her as some mages started bombarding the Chimera with spells that did basically no damage to it. The Chimera had also healed it''s wing. "Summon Pyro!" Arisu yelled. The earth in front of the Chimera started burning red as the temperature  started increasing. The ground erupted, allowing a huge monster to be freed from the ground. A huge burning phoenix appeared with black lines against it''s red and orange feathers.


    The size rivaled the Chimera in size. The phoenix opened it''s beak and spewed out red flames at the Chimera. It countered by using a fire breath of it''s own which was green. The flames crashed against each other as green and red flames started battling for superiority. "Life spike!" Norio yelled out. The phoenix glowed with a faint blue outline before the flames it was spewing out turned blue and started pushing back the green flames.


    As the flames was almost pushed back to the Chimera, it had sneakily used it''s tail to go underground and appear behind the phoenix which then bit the neck, causing the phoenix to roar out in pain. Since the phoenix stopped using it''s fire attack, nothing was there to push back the green flames which then surged towards the phoenix. The phoenix caught on green fire which started hurting the fire bird.


    "Shit i have to do something. Rain of doom!" i yelled out which i used my sword and aim it above the Chimera. A black bolt was shot from my sword and burst above the Chimera. It started raining black water on the Chimera. It started corroding the flesh of the creature which cried out in pain before trying to move out of the rain but the rain cloud followed it. Just then, the portal opened behind us, creating a vortex of wind.


    Survivors started dashing for it while me and Norio rushed for it as well. A survivor was hauling a huge bag that was floating towards the portal as well. "Come on Arisu! Let''s go!" i yelled at her but she simply shook her head. "I have to stay and continue to supply mana to the phoenix or it will crumple away." Arisu smiled sadly while she said that. "You have to leave me here." she continued to say.


    "NO! WE ARE NOT LEAVING ANYONE BEHIND!" Norio shouted and started trying to drag Arisu back with us. There was a magic circle below Arisu but if she left the circle, the phoenix would disappear, causing the Chimera to be free to do what it wants. "WAIT FOR ME!" a familiar voice ringed throughout the air. From the forest, Jack appeared running for the portal while a horde of monster was following him. The Chimera focused on Jack as well.


    Taking this chance, Norio picked up Arisu with incredible speed and threw her towards the portal. "EHHHHH!" Arisu cried out before she disappeared into the portal. "Let''s go." Norio said while smirking. "Jack will be the shield for us." he continued to say. As the phoenix disappeared, the Chimera focused on Jack as it was the closest to it. We jumped through the portal while we heard Jack screaming in rage.


    After we exited the portal, the machine broke down, causing the portal to close. "That was close." i laughed. "That Jack was helpful in the end after all." Norio laughed. "How could you throw me!" Arisu pouted while bashing Norio''s head. "Now then. Time to meet that damn king for some answers." i said while getting up from my butt.

 Chapter 10: Reunion

    It was night time when i headed into the city. The robe concealed my entire body easily with the back of the robe dragging behind me on the ground as i walked. The city was much more lively and brighter than the city in Anten. Rishon had more advanced lighting system which illuminated the streets. There was food stalls everywhere with people happily eating them or walking around. I didn''t expect the people living here would look so contented living here. As i walked down the main street, i occasionally would spot a beast kin wearing a slave collar walking past. Some looked well fed and groomed while others look starved and look dirty.


    I guess some people don''t treat beast kin as bad as others does like abusing them. I was looking for a inn to stay for the night since i was quite tired from the ordeal that happened in the castle. As i walked further away from the royal castle, the condition of the area started to decline. There would be less street lamps illuminating the area and more dark alleys. More people dressed poorly would walk about. I guess the king didn''t really bothered to improve the entire city''s condition and only the area closest to the castle.


    I spotted a suitable inn as i was walking down the street which had cracks on the concrete. The inn was in decent shape compared to the rest of the buildings in the vicinity. "Welcome." a voice greeted me as i entered the place. The first floor was basically like a dining area with wooden chairs and tables. "I would like to stay for a night please." i replied back to the voice behind the counter. Behind the counter was a middle aged man who was wiping the counter.


    "That would be 40 copper per night. You sure do sound young though." the man said to me while cleaning the same spot over and over again. "Well i am young and here is the copper." i handed him 40 bronze coloured coin from my pocket which i used my dimensional space to get it out, making it look like i took it out from the pocket. "Have you eaten? Do you want to have dinner before you go to your room? That would be an additional of 10 copper though." Since i was hungry, i had no reason to refuse him. "Yes please." i replied back while handing him 10 copper coins.


    "Well take a seat while i get something for you to eat. My name''s Tom by the way." he mentioned to me before walking to the door behind him and entering it. It would probably lead to the kitchen. I took a seat at the far corner of the place to not attract attention just in case. While i was waiting, i decided to check my status. ''Status'' i said in my mind.

    Seems like i leveled up 5 times after the king died. Not bad i guess but to think killing a king would only give 5 levels. It is a bit disappointing. My overall stats have improved. "Here''s your food." Tom announced as he walked out of the door that would lead to the kitchen. He was holding a plate with a tenderizing smell that filled the air. He placed the plate on my table before announcing "This is my most popular dish in this inn. The fire garuda meat that have been cooked over a grill and cooking it to perfection. This is the wing of the garuda." It looked like slightly bigger chicken wing from Earth but it was red in colour. There was no spicing or any sauce but a plain red chicken wing.

    My expectation was betrayed but the smell it gave off was making it appetizing. I picked up a wing with my hands and bit into it. Initially, it was tough to chew but after a few mouthful, the meat started softening up and a taste of chicken erupted from the meat i was chewing. "This is amazing!" i said to Tom in amazement. This wing had no seasoning and yet, it was delicious after chewing for a while. "Almost everyone have the same reaction as you do when they first try this dish!" Tom replied with a proud look. I continued to devour the meat while being careful to not expose my horn to him from beneath my robe.


    Meanwhile in the RIshon imperial castle, there was total chaos and mayhem. The sudden death of their king had made many frantic and worried. They locked down the castle and send guards to all part of the castle but they could not find the assassin. They did not even know what the assassin would look like. Some suspected the young black-hair beast kin to have killed their king but they dismissed the idea. Having the thought of their powerful king being killed by a measly young beast kin would not let them believe it. The fact that the king died from a mental attack also worried them.


    After an expert perform an autopsy on the king, they found out that he died from a mental attack that caused his head to split apart. Their was traces of magic left in the king''s head and brain matter when they examined it. Having able to cause someone''s head to split using only a mental attack was deemed nearly impossible. Only one person had managed to do this which was the first king of Rishon. The fact that their king was the one to have his head split also worried the examiners.


    A king usually would have strong mental defense so that they can defend themselves from mind control or any spell that target the mind. The current king had one of the strongest mental defense in this kingdom. The nobles gathered to find a solution to this incident and how to take care of the heir for the throne. There was greedy people as well that wanted to somehow control the young prince and manipulate him from the shadows.


    In the end, the prime minister whom has the second highest authority besides from the king had decided that he should take the throne temporarily until the prince had matured enough to take the throne. The prime minister had no intention of giving the throne back to the prince in the first place. There was some nobles that supported the prince and had decided to keep him safe from assassins in case they appeared.


    I had finished eating my garuda wings and headed upstairs to my room. This inn has 5 levels and mine was at the top of it. I opened my room using the key Tom passed to me and entered the room. It was a fairly small room compared to my dorm room but it was enough for me. There was a simple bed in the corner and a wooden chair. No wonder this place is cheap. There is not much furniture in the room.


    I threw off my robe and lied down on the bed. As i lied down on the bed, i wondered what happened to Henry. Hope he is still alive. He was a kind man that actually had common sense compared to others in the cage. I might want to rescue him if possible. I fell asleep after thinking about what to do in the future.


    I need to do something about my appearance. After i woke up, i realized that sooner or later, my horns was going to be revealed. What should i do about it. My choker can alter appearance and shape of my tail so can''t it like somehow do the same for my horns and tails? "I have heard your request and will adjust accordingly." i heard in my head. Wait whose talking to me? "Who are you?" i yelled mentally.


    I never heard a response back though my choker started turning white and my tails and horns started going back into where it grew from. Well that''s one problem solved. I should still use the robe just in case. I now looked like a nine year old human girl. That was convenient. My height is now about 150cm which makes me look like a eleven year old instead. My lustrous black hair grown until thigh length.


    I wore my robe and headed downstairs. "Good morning Tom." i greeted him as i went to my usual seat. "Morning lass, breakfast?" he asked. "Sure." i tossed him 10 coppers coins which he caught and headed to the kitchen. While waiting for my breakfast, i wondered to myself what to do next. Should i find a way to go back or just stay in this region? As i was planning my next move, the door opened and a group of soldiers came in and sat down near to me.


    "Yesterday sure was hectic man." one of them said. "Yeah total chaos. Can''t believe the king got assassinated though." "Keep your voice down. The public is not to know this!" another one hissed at them. "There is no one here except that robed figure. Doubt that robed figure would care."


    "Here''s your food lass." Tom announced as he came back out with a tray in his hand. "Tomato soup with wild mushroom soup is today breakfast." "Thank you Tom." i replied back before i started gulping down the food. "Hey you." a soldier shouted out to me as i was eating. "Show your face to us!" he continued. "And why should i?" "Because we are the soldier of this country and you are deemed suspicious!"


    Shit, i can''t make a scene now. I lowered my hood and showed my face to the soldier before putting it back on. "Was that alright?" i asked while looking annoyed. "Uhh yeah. Sorry for taking your time." he said before turning back to his friends. "Damn when she grows up, she will be a beauty." i heard him muttering to his group. Not sure if i should feel disgusted or elated at that statement.


    I quickly gulped down my food and headed out onto the streets. The town in the day seemed to be more lively than at night. I wanted to explore the area outside the town since it would be my first time meeting monsters from another region. As i proceeded to leave the city, i was stopped. "Halt stranger! Why are you trying to leave the city!" the guard at the gate shouted at me.


    "I need to go out to collect herbs and hunt monsters for their drops." i lied smoothly to the guard. "Well then you are free to go but remember to be back before night time or you will be locked outside the gates." and with that, i went through the gate. Beyond the gate was a large field with sandy roads. I followed the roads and walked till i reach a forest. There is always a forest without fail huh.


    The forest was not as thick as the one back near the dorm. Where the hell am i even going? Following this road would just lead me to another village or a town. As i continued walking down the road, i came across a group of merchants that was heading to a port. "Why hello there kid, would you like to ride on the carriage with us?" the leading merchant asked me. Why the hell not. I have no destination to reach so i might as well go with the flow.


    I rode in the carriage with merchants and continued their way. The carriage is pulled by 2 black horse and there is guards around us as well outside. I guess this merchants are important or something. They asked me various things like what my name was and where i came from and more. I lied of course, pulling something out of my ass to say. "You know if you have nowhere to go, my place will always be." but before he could finish his sentence, an arrow pierced through his head.


    "Bandit attack!" the guards yelled out as they drew their sword and proceeded to attack the approaching bandits. The sound of metal clashing outside filled the air and the rest of the merchants started trembling and hugging one another. I remained calm as the fight outside continued until i heard someone outside cast a spell. "Nether Burn!"


    Fuck. I quickly jumped out of the carriage and landed outside. The carriage i was on burned away with screams of pain coming from it. "Well well well, what do we have here? A noble''s daughter?" a voice came from behind me. I quickly looked behind but to my surprise, the bandit had animal ears visible on his head. "Beast kin?" i muttered softly to myself. Then another person chopped my neck from behind and i fell unconscious.


    When i woke up, i found myself on a small bed in a room. My hands were tied behind my back though my leg was free. "So you are finally awake." a voice came from the corner of the room. It was a old looking man with bear like ears. "Are you fine young one?" he continued. "Uhh yeah besides being kidnapped and having my hands tied behind my back, it''s fine." i scoffed. "Watch your tone. We would have killed you and eaten you if not for you having the smell of a beast kin even though you don''t seem to possess any characteristics of it." the old man warned me.


    "I have some questions for you as well." he continued. "What are you? Why do yo have our scent yet does not have any ears or tails?" "Well i do have them, it''s just that their hidden. That''s all." i replied back. "Illusion magic can hide them but they cannot erase it completely! Don''t lie to me!" the old man warned. "I will bring you to our leader so you better not lie to him." he continued before pushing me out of the room from behind.


    As i was pushed out of the room, i noticed that the room i came out from was actually part of a tree. I was in a tree house. He continued pushing me towards a bigger tree with wooden stairs leading to the top. Curious gaze was directed at me, followed by glares with some calling me human scum. What a joke. I noticed that there was beings with longer ears than humans as well. First time seeing elves.


    All of the elves looks young and none of them is ugly. Unbelievable. This is unfair for other races. This is probably the home of the elves since every seems so nature like. No man-made looking structure visible. I started climbing the stairs to the top of a tree that seemed to be the biggest one in the area. So much fucking stairs. "Hurry up!" snapped the old man behind me.


    At last, i reached the top. This tree was higher than the rest of the tree. I could see the top of the rest of the trees. In front of me was a giant wooden door that lead to the inside of the tree. The old man opened the giant door and went in. Inside was a huge room with a round table in the middle. There was 3 figures seating around the round table.


    "EH? Zaomi?" one of the figure called out in surprise. "Fancy seeing you here Hide." i replied back while hiding my surprise. "Do you know her?" one of the figure sitting down asked. "Yeah! She used to be my classmate!" he replied back to a girl sitting down. She had light greenish skin with dark green hair and looked about 15 years old. I guess she is a dryad? "But where did your dragon horn go?" Hide continued. "I hid it obviously." "But how did you manage to make it disappear completely?" another person sitting down asked.


    "Special item that can''t be found anywhere else." I said it with a look that said that i wasn''t going to answer anymore questions regarding that topic. "So who are you guys?" "I am Lisa and i am the representative for the treant and dryad group." "I am Slyvia, representative for the elves." said a elve that had long blonde hair whom looked like 19 years old. "Well you know me, Hideyoshi, representative for beast kin that was brought here as slaves. "We fight and save other beast kin slaves from humans." he continued.


    -----------Somewhere in the ocean near Rishon------------


    "Why did she go to the human continent?" "Why are we even following her?" "Oh shut up and just track her." "Hey! I am in charge here so watch it." "We need to observe her obviously since she ate the pill and didn''t perish." "Do we really though? Can''t we just go somewhere else and enjoy the sun?" "No! We have to follow her! It''s our duty." "Tch, what a waste of time." "We need to have our revenge on her as well." "I agree." "Same here." All the nine heads finally agreed on a decision after bickering with each other.

 Chapter 11: Orcs

    "So how did you get here?" asked Hide after the meeting. We were currently inside his private room and another tree. "Well, i was visiting the port city Trish when the humans managed to break through our defenses. I was captured and brought to the human continent but fortunately, i was rescued by this group of people." he replied back. "What about you?" he continued. "Well they managed to attack the capital and i was captured then." "And?" he pestered me. "And what?" "How did you escape obviously!" "I uh managed to escape by tricking them by saying i wanted to go to the toilet." i lied.


    "Right...." He clearly didn''t believed me but did not chased the topic anymore. "So what are you guys trying to achieve anyway?" i asked him. "Our group hope to liberate all the slaves and have a peace treaty with the humans!" Hide replied back while looking proud. "So how are you planning to achieve that?" The door slammed open and and Slyvia walked in while glaring at me. "I hope you are not telling HER our plan right? She is still suspicious and might be a spy."


    "But Slyvia, i know her personally and i trust her!" he protested. "Well i don''t trust her so you can''t tell her." she argues back while giving me a death stare every once in a while. What''s her problem. "Sorry Zaomi but i can''t tell you it seems." Hide said while giving me a apologetic look. "It''s fine. Not like i was going to stay for long anyway." "You are leaving? Why not stay here?" "I have things to do somewhere else."


    "When are leaving?" he asked me. "Tomorrow." i revealed. "EH! Why are you leaving so fast! I thought you would stay longer." he said while looking crestfallen. "Jeez why are you looking so sad you idiot." Slyvia butted in. I quietly left the room while they were talking. I went to group level and there was tents as well. There was children running around, playing with each other and many campfires around as well.


    As i was walking around, i noticed a stairs heading down into the ground. "Hey Lisa!" i called out to her as she was talking to another dryad. "Yes?" "Where does that stairs lead to?" "Well since Hide trust you, i will tell you but don''t tell Slyvia. That leads to the dwarf kingdom but is currently closed to anyone since the tunnel collapsed after an earthquake happened sometime ago." "I see.. thanks Lisa." "Your welcome." she replied but before she could walk off, a small boy glowing as if he was a spirit appeared.


    "We have a problem Lisa." the boy said to her. "There is a group of orcs approaching this place. There appears to be High trolls with them as well." he continued. "How many are there and how far are they?" Lisa asked looking worried. "Appears to be around 300 orcs and about 50 High trolls with them." "S..so many!" Lisa said, looking shock. "Quickly warn the other 2 and ask them to meet at the grand tree meeting room.


    I followed after Lisa up the huge ass tree again. "What are we going to do about this?" Slyvia asked the other 2 at the table. I was standing at the back of the room listening in to their conversation. "Should we run?" Lisa suggested. "No. We stand and fight. We know the terrain better than they do." Slyvia interjected. "We have about 300 people that is ready to fight." Hide added. "We should be able to reduce their numbers with our mages since orcs don''t have the ability to use magic like we do." Slyvia said.


    "Orcs are not some stupid creatures you know. They must know that we can use magic and that they can''t so why are they approaching us?" Lisa questioned. "Cause they are idiots. That''s why." Slyvia said. "The High troll is the problem. They have high magic resistance and can endure massive amount of physical punishment before going down." Hide added in. "They will arrive in 9 hours at most." the boy spirit appeared and informed us. "How is that possible?" Lisa asked.


    "They started charging here after i informed you that they were seen." the boy answered back. "They don''t seem to be slowing down at all." he continued. "Prepare the people for battle now." Slyvia shouted before leaving the room. We have decided that we will meet them head on in a open area where we will bombard them with magic. By the time the orcs arrived, there was a mixture of beast kins and elves with moving trees as well which are treants.


    They appeared while we were waiting for them. They charged across the field before stopping about 300 meters away. One orc that seemed to be the commander then shouted at us. "Give us the person with black hair and we shall spare your puny lives." he shouted. Huh, is he talking about me? I never even seen that guy before. "Prepare the spells." Lisa shouted out, ignoring the orc. Almost everyone was staring at me.


    "Your puny magic will not affect us!" the orc shouted at us before walking back to his army. Lisa and Slyvia with other mages started chanting together, preparing to cast a huge aoe spell. "Goddess of the sun, head our prayers. Take our sacrifice and burn the enemy of us! Omega Blaze!" Seven huge red magic circle appeared above the orcs before a huge beam from the sun slammed down on them.


    The heat could be felt even though we were far away. After the beam slowly became smaller before disappearing, massive dust and smoke covered where the orcs were. "That was easy." Slyvia said arrogantly before turning around and walking off. "GAHAHAHA YOU THINK THAT PUNY MAGIC AFFECTS US?" a deep voice boomed around the field. As the dust cleared away, it was evident that none of the orcs or the tall High trolls seemed affected at all. "Impossible." Slyvia gasped while looking at them.


    The ground around the orcs were all scorched and glowing red hot but the ground below the orcs seemed fine. If one looked closer at the orcs, it could be seen that they were giving off dark mist from their body and their eyes completely white but that cannot be seen seen the majority of them were wearing helmets.


    I had already climbed up one of the tree and shot the orc commander through his head with my Barrett which i had already taken out. The orc commander''s head exploded, spewing brain matter around the other orcs. As the large ''bang'' sound echoed around, the orcs looked at their dead commander before looking at us. "I shall take charge now. CHARGE!" another orcs that was beside the commander shouted. The dark mist came out from the dead body of the commander before disappearing.


    "Do whatever you did to the commander to the trolls as well!" Lisa shouted at me. The orcs started charging at the elves and beast kins while screaming and the trolls slowly walked towards the as well. I looked into my scope and aimed at one of the troll head. As i zoomed in, i noticed that it''s eyes were white. "What the hell.... they look like they are possessed. I remembered a tv show where possessed people had white eyes with no iris.


    I pressed the trigger and the troll''s head exploded. This Barrett is supposed to be used against armored targets so the troll''s head exploding is not surprising. I quickly took aim at the other trolls and put them down. As the orcs got closer to the elves and beast kins, the treants smashed their hands into the ground. Roots erupted from below the orcs and skewered many orcs from below. Archers released their arrows which flew into the orcs army.


    Although many arrows were deflected off their armor, some managed to find the chinks in the armor and put them down. Arrows that was shot at the trolls was useless as the arrows just bounced of their skin. The orcs soon crashed head on into the beast kins which are at the front line. The orcs were pushing back the beast kin. Even though they slashed at the orcs at the leg, chest or anywhere that is not vital, they continued attacking without hesitation. It was like the had no sense of pain.


    "Ge..get away from me!" one of the beast kin screamed as an orc kicked him down before using it''s axe to chop of his head. Many orcs jumped onto the treants and started hacking away at it with their weapons. The elves stayed at the back using their bows to attack. "Dammit Heaven''s Strike!" i cast at the orcs as i watched many of the beast kin getting hacked down. Dark clouds started gathering above and started striking down randomly among the orcs.


    The orcs that were hit by the lightning had spasm before falling down dead. It continued to strike randomly at orcs while i kept on supplying it with mana. "Retreat!" someone shouted out. Immediately the beast kins that was fighting started running back to the base while the treants stopped the orcs from advancing. "Come on Zaomi, we have to go now!" Hide yelled at me from below. "But the treants!" "It''s okay. They are just inhabiting a tree and making it move. They can move to another tree if needed." he replied back.


    I jumped down from the tree and followed Hide back to the base. As i looked behind, i could see the treants forming a line and stopping any orcs from advancing. The trolls soon reached the treants and started hammering down on them. The treants were holding on but not for long.


    "Sorry but i am going back." i said to Hide before running back to where the orcs were. "No don''t!" Hide shouted after me and tried to chase after me but Slyvia stopped him. "Go!" Slyvia yelled at me before dragging along Hide. This one time Slyvia is useful. I ran back to where the treants were getting pounded to the ground by the trolls. The treants were getting broken up by the trolls by ripping the tree apart with brute force.

    I immediately took out my energy sword and cast Sword Dance. Eight energy sword appeared around me and i willed for them to start piercing through the orcs. The swords flew up into the air before diving down at the orcs and going through their chest and pulling back up like how dive bombers does. I stayed back and continued sniping the trolls since their head was higher than the orcs head.


    With the treants still tanking the trolls and orcs, they were put down quickly by my attacks. The orcs started looking around in confusion and glared at the swords diving at the orcs and killing them. "Stop the swords!" one of the orc cried out and a troll attempted the grab the blade as it flew past it. The trolls fingers were sliced through and fell on to the ground.


    The enemy numbers quickly dwindled as time flew. There was only a few orcs left soon and they started retreating back to where they came from. I had used about 27 bullets to take down the trolls and decided to save the rest of the ammo which is 2 ammo. I continued to cut down the rest of the orcs until 3 of them were left. I had already sliced of their limbs before walking up to them. They won''t bleed to death since the wound would instantly be cauterized by the heat from the sword.


    "So why are you looking for me?" i interrogated the 3 orcs left. "Th...the black haired person?" one of them spluttered. "We were ordered to bring you to our master." the other one said. "Whose your master?" i questioned them again but they did not respond. "Keeping quiet now are we?" I took out the energy sword and stabbed one of the orc through the abdomen.


    "GAHH!" he screamed out in pain. "EJECT!" the orc i was stabbing screamed out and a black mist came out from the mouth of the orc and disappeared into thin air. The orc i was stabbing died instantly. "What was that?" "That idiot! Ejecting is the last resort! Lord Abaddon will not be pleased." and with that, the other 2 orcs shouted the word eject before the black mist came out and disappeared again.


    "Abaddon eh.... who the fuck is he?" "HEY ZAOMI ARE YOU THERE?" someone shouted from the way back to the base. "Stop shouting Hide. I can hear you just fine." i replied back to him. "By the way, did you kill all those orcs?" he questioned me. I was going to lie and say no when Lisa came out as well. "She sure did kill all those orcs with some weapons i didn''t see before." she interjected. Ah so annoying that Lisa. To think that she would be watching.


    "Were you watching or something?" i asked her. "Nope. Remember the spirit that warned us, he told me." Lisa exclaimed. The field was littered with orc corpses and trolls. There was brain matters splattered everywhere with guts and blood staining the grass. "All this corpses is going to be a feast for the treants." Lisa continued. "Well that''s convenient." i replied to her. "Anyway, can i see that sword of yours?" Lisa squealed with excitement.


    "Sorry but i can''t show you cause it is my secret weapon after all." "Muhhhh" Lisa pouted. "Let''s head back to the base shall we?" she continued. I didn''t tell them what the orcs told me yet. We started going back to base in silence except for Lisa''s constant bickering. "You didn''t die?" Slyvia looked at me in disbelief. "Well sorry that i didn''t die." i retorted back. "Don''t be rude Slyvia." Hide scolded her.


    "We lost 67 men in the battle. You have some explaining to do Zaomi." Slyvia said. "I have no idea why they were after me so yeah sorry." i replied back to her. "You might be lying." Slyvia continued to accuse me. "Hey give her a break already! She killed all the remaining orcs you know!" Hide defended me. "Why do you always take her side!" she shrilled before storming off back to her tree house. "Let her cool down and she will be back to normal." Lisa speculated. "Right....."


    --------------------Somewhere in Ishria-----------------------


    "Kukuku looks like finally someone is compatible with that sealed disgrace." a voice resounded around a room with a fireplace. The door creaks open and a maid walks into the room. "Lord Abaddon, the other demon lords are seeking for your attendance in the next meeting and they also asks for your analysis." the maid informed a figure in a clad of full body red armor that was watching a scene in a bowl of water.


    "Tch what a burden." the person grumbled before getting off his sofa and started walking towards the door. A long lizard like tail could be seen being dragged behind it as it walked. He walked down a hallway that had no decoration except for a dark red wallpaper. There was two huge red horns that protruded through the helmet he was wearing over his head. He reached a huge grand door and paused for a while before entering the room.


    "Take a seat Abaddon, you sure took your own sweet time getting your ass here." a figure seated commented. There was a huge chandelier hanging over a giant grand golden rectangular table with smooth edges at the corner. There was 4 figures sitting around the table. "Calm the fuck down Belphegor. Even walking here as such a drag for me." Abaddon grunted before taking a seat. Now there was 3 seats that was occupied on one side while the other side had only 2 seats occupied. There is a seat empty at the width of the table.


    The person Abaddon was talking to was wearing a modern day black suit and was wearing sunglasses. He has black hair and he looked just like normal human except that there is a hole where a normal person''s heart would have been. "Stop complaining about everything Belphegor. It''s irritating to keep on hearing your whiny voice." a creature with the upper part of the body being a human women while the bottom part of that of a spider. The human part was just wearing a simple white t-shirt and has black hair as well that extended to the waist and looked about the age of 20 and had C cup size for her breasts. Her eyes also remains closed and have not opened them since entering the room.


    "Oh shut up Aragok. You can go back to your pathetic nest instead of staying here." Belphegor growled at her. "Hmph listening to you makes my ears bleed." Aragok responded back swiftly. "Hey hey Abaddon, so hows my new darlings body?" another voice louder than the rest resounded across the room. "Well Lilith sorry to burst your bubble but your new darlings body is a little girl''s body now." Abaddon answered lazily.


    "What! No way.....doesn''t matter. What matters is the inside only is what humans say right? Hehehe." a girl around the age of 16 laughed. She has black and sliver hair that goes down all the way to the thighs and has a long tail with the end of it being a spade shape and also has 2 large leathery wings folded behind her back.  She has normal looking eyes that is black and has B cup size.


    There is one more figure that had not uttered a single word after coming here. "Ho ho looks like Beelzebub has substituted his presence with a pillow dummy. Not bad." Aragok said with a hint of admiration in her voice. The door opened and another maid walked in. "Sorry to all those who gathered but i am sick and i will not be leaving my territory so the meeting will be canceled is what demon king Lucifer asked me to say." and with that, the maid bowed and left the room.


    Nobody said a thing after the maid left until Belphegor broke the silence. "What the fuck? How does he even get sick?" "His lying about getting sick you idiot!" Aragok ridiculed him. "He just became lazy to leave his room to attend the meeting he organized." "Did our king just become a shut-in?" Abaddon questioned. "Hahaha he never fails to surprise me!" Lilith exclaimed while getting up from her chair. "Well i will be leaving now so see you guys next time!" she waved at before teleporting away. "That was a waste of time." Abaddon muttered before leaving as well.


    --------------Somewhere near the coast of the human continent----------------


    "Shouldn''t we report back to master Raphael about the someone managing to eat the pill and surviving it?" "And get our ass whooped?" "Oh hell no. Ain''t nobody got time for that." "But isn''t the pill actually a seal containing one of the demon lord?" "It isn''t even suppose to be in the reward chest. We were suppose to guard it but all the people until now that we tricked them into swallowing the seal just burned up." "We should strike while the seal hasn''t been fully release yet." "I got her scent so we can track her down." "We need to transform before heading onto land since humans will attack us with our current body."


    The 9 headed hydra slowly started becoming smaller and smaller it became a body of a 13 year old girl with blueish green hair that extended down to the waist and having yellow eyes. "Why are we not in a body of an adult human?" "Because a body of a child will cause attackers to underestimate us and we shall use that hesitation to strike down the enemy!" "I see. What a wonderful plan." "Let''s head to the nearest human habitation to explore before tracking her down. "I haven''t been outside the dungeon since like forever!"

 Chapter 12: Iona

    "Do you really have to leave now? Can''t you wait until we celebrated your birthday before you go?" Hide asked me while i was preparing to leave. "No need to celebrate my birthday. It''s a waste of time." I replied back nonchalantly. I had changed into a navy blue classic dress with a white bow covering the front of my stomach. "Sorry Hide but I really want to leave as soon as possible." I said to Hide. The next estimated demon invasion will happen 2 years later when i am 12 years old.


    I have to prepare for the invasion though i did not tell that to Hide. As Hide continued to pester me, Lisa stepped through the door. "Leaving before saying goodbye?" Lisa huffed. "Well i wasn''t about to leave yet..." I tried to tell her but she jumped forward and gave me a tight hug. "We will meet again right?" Lisa sniffed before letting go of me. "Yeah sure we will." I assured her as she pulled away.


    Didn''t thought that Lisa would get attached to people so easily. "Did you pack everything?" Hide asked me as i stood up from my bed after throwing food and clothes into my dimensional space. "Yeah looks like this is goodbye for now." I said as i made my way outside. "Before I leave, Lisa can you give me the direction to the underground dwarf city?" I asked Lisa as i stood by the door. "I will hand you a map leading to it."


    After i received the map containing directions to the dwarf city, i thanked Lisa before leaving the base. Hide tried to come with me but was dragged away by Lisa saying that he would get caught by humans immediately from seeing his ears. Looks like the forest I am currently in is close to the sea so i decided to visit the port city nearby.


    It''s more like a siege fortress city. There is a huge wall surrounding the city with random high towers placed among ordinary civilian buildings. There is another layer of walls inside the city with even higher towers placed around. Finally a castle can be seen in the middle of the city. This place is even more impressive than their own imperial castle! There was a long queue of people waiting to enter the gate. Security seems tight.


    I joined the queue and had to wait for three hours before it was my turn. "Take off your hood stranger." one of the guard ordered. I lowered the hood covering my face and looked at him right in the eye. "Do you have any identifications?" the guard continued to say. "Umm no sir, i am afraid i don''t have any sort of identification card with me." I replied back to the guard in a cool voice. "Is that so, then pay an entrance fee of 5 silver."


    I took out 5 sliver coins and handed it to the guard and then he allowed me to enter. Let me take back my words about security being tight here. It''s actually lax. Seems like the city is named after the person who designed the city. The city is named Eulen after the person. The city is impressive on the inside as well. There doesn''t seems to be any slums and all the parts of the city seems to be of decent quality with proper stone roads and buildings.


    This place is even more impressive than the imperial city! I walked around the city while keeping my hood on. Got to get some supplies before leaving for the dwarf city to gather materials for my project. I also need a specific spell if it even exist but first, i have to eat. It''s about noon now and i am starving.


    I located a casual dinning place while walking along the road. The road was lively since there was many people walking around. No signs of any poorly dressed person that is homeless. This city should become the imperial city. I walked into the dinning place and ordered some food. I ordered some fish that i have not heard of before. It tasted like smoked salmon. After finishing my lunch, I left the place.


    Time to find a spell shop. I walked around deeper into the city searching for the shop. "Excuse me, do you know where i might find a spell shop?" I stopped and asked a random person on the street. "A spell shop.... I believe there is one behind the third wall. That''s just before the castle." he replied back quickly before walking away. The third wall..... I believe i am currently in the first wall area. The richer people live deeper in i heard.


    The problem is how do i get inside the third wall? Not anyone can just waltz in and out of the area. One must be of nobility or a rich person. Crap... getting to a spell shop in Rishon is proving difficult. I need to find a inn to stay first. Let''s head to the second wall area. As long as you pay a gold coin, you can get in.


    After paying a guard 2 gold coins instead of 1, i got into the second wall area. The place looks more polished. People looks more well dressed. Many of them was in formal attire. "Move out of the way!" a soldier shouts as a group of soldiers riding on horses charged from the castle to the outer walls. There was at least 700 of them thundering through the roads. Wonder what happens to cause all this ruckus.


    After the soldiers passed by, I felt a slight tremor coming from the ground. Is that an aftershock from an earthquake? I wonder. I continued making my way deeper inside. It''s also been awhile since the king''s death was announced to the public. The first prince is the next to the throne who is 15 years old. Still just a kid.


    After the king''s death was known, the public didn''t really seemed to care about it. Looks like the king was not really loved by his people. As I walked deeper inside, I saw a neatly dressed gentleman looking with 2 bodyguard by his side. They were cornering a girl that looked about 14 with blueish green hair with a doll like face. It seemed like they were trying to grab her or something while the girl looked at them with blank eyes.


    "Stop it!" I shouted at them. "Leave her alone!" "Hmm? Get out of here and don''t meddle in adult business!" the bodyguards grunted at me before turning back to the girl. As i looked back at her, I saw her staring at me like she found a treasure. Maybe she was happy that someone was helping her i guess. I charged at the bodyguards and punched their back with a fist. A crack sound was heard before they both went down.


    "I paid 10 gold coins for there bodyguards! How dare you waste my money!" the neatly dressed man screamed at me before running away. "I will get you back for that!" he continued to rant as he disappeared behind a corner. "Are you alright little girl?" I asked the yellow eyed girl staring at my face. "............. oh thank you for helping me." the girl paused for along time before replying back. "Where do you live? I will walk you back." I said to her.


    "Aren''t you a little girl as well?" the girl asked me as we walked down the road. She sure is slow in answering. "Ahh well i am." I replied back to her. "And I don''t have a place to stay as well." the girl said. I thought she was someone from a royal family since she looked like a doll but she doesn''t even have a place to stay. What a shocker. "Did you run away from home or something?" I asked her since that is the next logical question.


    "Sort of i guess?" she replied back while grinning at me the whole time. "What are you going to do now?" "I don''t know........ I have a great idea! Can i stay with you?" she asked me while looking at me happily. "What! I uh yeah I guess for a while." I answered back. "Great! Thank you!"


    "What''s your name by the way?" I asked her as we walked towards an inn. "You can call me Iona!" she happily said. "Right.... mine is Aoi. Nice to meet you Iona." "Nice to meet you as well!" We went into a expensive looking inn but money doesn''t matter since I looted the king''s place. Instead of an inn, it''s more like a hotel I can say.


    "Two rooms please." I asked the person at the reception desk. "I wanna sleep with you!" Iona whined at me while tugging at my hood. "Let go." I said as I tried to shrug her off but instead, my hood came down. "So a room for 2 i guess since your little sister doesn''t want to sleep from a different room from you. "Ah well yeah fine then. A room for 2. "Yay!" Iona cheered beside me. "Which noble family are you girls from? You don''t look like an ordinary person." the receptionist asked me.

    "We are just travelers wandering around." I replied back before taking the keys from his outstretched hands and heading up the stairs. We headed to the third floor and went inside our room. There was 2 beds inside with a table in the middle with some chairs. "I will take the left one, you take the right." Iona happily nodded before jumping into the bed at the right side of the room.


    "Let''s head downstairs and find a restaurant to eat in." I told her as I jumped out of my bed and headed for the door. "Wait for me!" Iona cried out before following me. Now that a place to stay is found, all i need to do is find a way into the third area, find the spell I need and get the hell out of there. I asked around a few people on how to gain access inside and the three way is either you are from a noble or royal family, invitation from one of them or become an adventurer and reach rank A.


    So the easiest way would be becoming an adventurer and reaching rank A in about a year. While that''s impossible for average people, I am confident I can do it. The problem is what should I do with her? Is she going to keep on following me? If so, then that''s going to become a problem.


    "Hey Iona, I am going to become an adventurer but that''s too dangerous for you so you should stop coming with me." I told her as we were walking down the road and heading to the first wall area since that''s where the adventurer''s guild is located. "It''s okay. I can take care of myself." Iona responded back with an annoyed look on her face. "It''s not like I am useless you know." she continued to say. "Really now? I wonder..."


    We arrived outside of the adventurer''s guild which is located in the third area near the gate to the second area. It looks very polished and out of place from the other lower quality buildings though it is not like a slum. I already wore my cloak before heading out though Iona wasn''t too keen on covering her appearance and just wore a simple black dress.


    We headed inside and I have to say that I did not expect what was awaiting me inside. After I opened the double door, a reception desk could be seen with a board beside and papers could be seen pinned onto the board. All these was at the back of the large room that i just entered. Light crystals could be seen lighting up the place and there was sofas and tables around. I expected an inn like place but this place looks like a waiting area for some work interview.


    Got to say that I am quite surprised. There was quite a number of people gathered here and talking among themselves, sharing information I believe. As we walked to the reception desk, many stares was directed to Iona since she was quite beautiful. We arrived at the reception and caught the attention of the receptionist women. "Are you here to put a request?" the women asked. "No. We are here to apply as adventurers." I replied back to her.


    Silence filled the air before mutterings could be heard. "Oi oi don''t tell me those little kids are going to apply and become adventurers?" "That girl in black dress would better off be my wife rather than becoming an adventurer." "Are you sure you want to apply for it?" the receptionist women asked us. "I am very sure." I replied back, ignoring the mutterings. "As long as you are age 10 and above, you can apply for it." the women continued.


    "I am 10." I said. "Well I am 13! Older than you!" Iona gleefully said. What the... Iona is older than me by 3 years?! But she looks younger than me! "You will start off as the lowest rank unless you want to take a rank examination test to try your luck and get higher rank immediately." the receptionist women said. What! There is such thing? This is going to speed up the process of me getting inside the third area. "I would like to take the examination please." I said politely to her. "Me too me too!" Iona cried out.


    "One person needs to pay 80 slivers to take the examination and after taking a test, one must wait a year before being allowed to take the test again. Are you sure you want to take the test?" the women asked us again. "Very sure." I said while taking out 160 slivers from my pocket which is actually from my dimensional space. I didn''t realize it but Iona had noticed me taking it out from a dimensional space.


    "Please head this way." the reception women announced before walking to a door behind the desk. We followed after her and we realize many others followed as well. "Why are they coming as well?" I asked the women. "People are allowed to watch the test to ensure that no cheating or bribery can be made." the women answered my question. "I see....."


    We arrived at a large stadium like place with seats around. "You will be asked to fight against various monsters and every time you slay the monster, a stronger one will appear. As you keep beating them, your rank will be judged accordingly." the women told us before heading towards another room. The others started climbing up the stand and seating down.


    "I will go first." I told Iona before heading into the arena. "Welcome to the examination young one. You will be tested to the very limit of your abilities and be ranked accordingly. There is a chance of you dying if you are not careful. Are you ready?" a figure from the opposite side of me announced loudly in a booming voice. "Always ready!" I shouted back at the figure.


    I took out a simple short iron sword that I had taken from the elf base. It was of good quality. "First monster will now be released." A magic circle appeared about 5 meters in front of me and something appeared in a blinding light. It had the shape of a wolf but was slightly larger. Is that a Wulf?


    The wulf looked like a wolf from Earth except that it had a different colour scheme. It was blue in colour. The wulf growled at me before jumping into the air towards me. I dodged it by going underneath it quickly and I stabbed it in the back after the wulf had landed. I took out my sword stuck in the wulf and wiped the blood off the fur of it. That was easy.


    "Congratulations! You beat the first monster! Would you like to take a rest?" the figure asked me. "No rest needed and hurry up with the next one please. "I said to him. "Getting a bit cocky now aren''t you? Second monster will now be released." Another magic circle appeared in front of me and this time, a bigger wolf appeared. A warg this time i guess. Wargs are 3 to 4 times bigger than a wulf and is has a more aggressive nature. Wulfs can be considered a tier 1 monster and wargs can be considered as tier 2 monsters.


    Wargs are also more intelligent than wulfs. This can be seen as the warg that was summoned did not charged at me immediately like the wulf did and started circling around me slowly while keeping it''s distance from me. I circled the warg slowly as well. We stared at each other before i threw my sword at it. The iron sword was thrown too fast for the warg to dodge and the sword pierced through the head of the warg and the warg fell down, dead.


    I walked towards it and pulled out my sword. There was silence in the air. Wargs have very hard skulls but I didn''t know that. An average rank B adventurer would have about 60 strength while I had about 80 but of course I didn''t know that as well. All this time I was fighting, somewhere in the shadow, Iona was silently gauging my strength and looking at the way I fought. "Soon, I will have my revenge." she quietly muttered.
