《Falling into oblivion》 Chapter 1 - Desire. Images of nature. Unclear pictures of autumn hidden behind the high speed of the train in which I¡¯m standing. Although the noisy environment I hear someone screaming my name: ¡°Teyreen, Teyreen! ¡° As I turn around there¡¯s no one there. A thunder wakes me up. I have had the same dream again. Always the same dream. It no longer matters - I have to go back to the Campus before the doors are shut. I¡¯m running, there¡¯s not much time left. I can¡¯t afford to stay out during the night. As I arrive the heavy metal doors are just starting to shut down. I am already inside when it¡¯s all closed for the night. A sense of relive spreads through my whole body. On the next day just before lunch I have some free time and the decision to leave again pops out in my mind so naturally like it¡¯s some sort of basic need to survive. And there I am standing in my room once again right in front of the window with the broken lattice. I glide through it and the feeling of freedom overflows through my skin. A slight drizzle wets me and I can¡¯t handle the smile which wells up on my face. The field - standing there as always with the single Weeping Willow in the far distance, and even further right behind it, there¡¯s the forbidden This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.city drown in its own ruins. No one comes here anymore, there¡¯s no reason even for me to be out here. Every single thing which a person might need is back there, under the Mountain. Well developed society hidden in its depths. With our advanced technology we have a magnificent city with everything in it, we have managed to hide underground even a brilliant copy of the nature above and it is all packed together under the safety of the Mountain. ¡± So what¡¯s the reason to be out here? ¡° I ask myself as I wander aimlessly around the field. Everything on the outside can be found on the inside. Except for the fear. Chapter 2 - The Unknown I catch a glimpse of the remains of an old subway and suddenly I am drawn to it. The train is flipped over its railings right through the glass of the tunnel like it is waiting for a team to come and repair it any minute. But no one is ever coming. I climb inside it and see a seat flipped over. I wonder what was it like back then? When people used to live out, under the open sky. A sigh. No one could tell me. Wham ¨C not far from me. Sirens and a second after it the sound of metal doors shutting down. A strange feeling overwhelms me, something between panic and excitement. The Campus has its doors closed now for some unknown reason. It¡¯s not like some of the evacuation practices which we do sometimes. Looks like my adventurism doesn¡¯t spread so widely and the fear of the unknown takes over my mind. I froze in my footsteps. Wham ¨C once again shakes the environment and this time is closer. Now the hiding behind the walls of the Campus, without even the slight curiosity of what¡¯s the world outside, sounds absolutely rational to me. ¡°You better bend over and stay quietly if you want to survive until the next day! ¡° The whispering voice of a woman standing behind me. Although I¡¯m frightened I stood under the seats in complete silence. ¡°What are you doing here you stupid girl?!¡± ¡°I... I just wanted to see what is like to be outside¡° I mumble quietly under my nose and wonder what is the true reason. ¡°Well I hope you like what you see.¡± Ashamed I shrug my shoulders. ¡°Get ready girl because we are not going back to the Campus any soon. Those dump idiots are not willing to open the doors today. ¡° She says like It¡¯s something completely normal. ¡°By the way¡ my name is Moira¡± She spreads her hand towards me and as I catch it with my shaking fingers I say : ¡°Teyreen.¡± My voice sounds so quiet even I can¡¯t recognize it. ¡°Do we have to stay here the whole night?¡± ¡°Yes, except if you don¡¯t know a better place sweetie!¡± I don¡¯t know if the sense of excitement or the sense of fear is the one I should listen to, but a little smile slides on my face. Another loud noise and this time is even closer than the last time. ¡°What is this?¡± I ask in hope to receive an answer. ¡°I don¡¯t know sweetie, but what ever it is we better stay away from it!¡± A little spark in her eyes makes me thing she knows what is it. ¡°Get comfortable and don¡¯t make too much noise or we are both dead.¡± It¡¯s getting dark already and considering my equations the Campus had to close its doors 2 hours ago. No longer matters because the whole day they are closed. The loud sounds have stopped long ago. Moira stands by me and plays with a little knife and a piece of wood ¨C a little figure reminding of a bear. ¡°You truly don¡¯t know what was that thing out there?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know Teyreen, I come out for one single reason ¨C to collect herbs for my sister¡¯s hospital! Never before I had stay out for the night.¡° If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. ¡°I see.¡± I say like something is stuck in my throat. Moira sees my fidgety and gives me the little statue. ¡°A totem to keep you safe in the dark sweetie.¡± She winks at me. And then there it is again a loud sound and a roaring. In this moment a feeling of curiosity bends in between the fear and excitement. My desire to see what¡¯s there grows stronger and stronger until I finally get up. In the exact second I feel the grasp of Moira around my arm pulling me back down. For such a skinny old lady she has a strong catch. ¡°Are you nuts? Sit down you stupid girl!¡± She hisses at me. Her face looks monstrous in the darkness. ¡°I just wanted to take a peek.¡± I say sheepishly. ¡°Your peeking will kill us both you incredibly stupid girl! Is this what you want?!¡± ¡°I¡¯m sorry.¡± I say with disappointment, not with actual regret. The roaring slowly passes by and after all I feel a little relieved. ¡°We will take shifts. I¡¯ll take the first one so you go to sleep now.¡± Moira says like she expects me if something happens to react somehow. I hardly swallow and nod with my head. This is the moment when I expect to fall asleep but it slips through my fingers and I can¡¯t even close my eyes. Thousands of thoughts rush in my mind. The light summer drizzle is gone and the air is no longer suffocating. Now it¡¯s all really cold and it feels like it¡¯s going to freeze any minute. I feel cold and this doesn¡¯t help me to fall asleep at all. I think the time is going so slow like this night is never going to end. Moira pushes me roughly: ¡°I hope you have had enough sleep because it¡¯s your turn Teyreen.¡± She passes me her gun and lies heavily on the seats. For such a delicate woman she has very bad manners. ¡°I wish I had slept.¡± I take the gun in my hands. I¡¯m not good at shooting. In fact I have never touched a gun before, although I am very good at throwing knives. I like them. They kill in cold blood and complete silence. Not like I ever killed something. But the feeling of my hunting knife in my boot calms me down. With the tips of my fingers I touch the handle of the knife. It¡¯s better than having no weapon at all. The light of the midnight moon flashes through the window of the train and lights up Moira¡¯s gun in my lap. Now I realize what an incredible weapon it is. It¡¯s silver and wooden with lots of ornaments and a beautifully written inscription: ¡°To my beloved mother to keep her safe from the enemies ¡° Moira moves almost unseen and I wonder how can she sleep so peacefully. The next moment I hear heavy footsteps and someone screaming. ¡°Come on! Run faster! RUN, RUN!¡± ¡°I can¡¯t it hurts.¡± The breathless voices of a boy and girl not far from here. ¡°Come on Rolly you can do it! We are going to hide in the subway! It¡¯s just few meters more!¡± I get up and think if I should wake up Moira or not. Another reckless movement and I am already outside. Clouds cover the moon, it is so dark and I don¡¯t see further my nose. As I turn around trying to hear where the footsteps come from - there¡¯s another scream. Someone¡¯s hand pushes me away, bring light blinds me. Shoots. Scream. Darkness. And then nothing. Chapter 3 - Dreams. I wake up under the shade of the Weeping Willow. The sunlight sneaks through the leaves of the tree and burns my skin. Unclear voices around me. ¡°¡to explain it. There¡¯s just no way Rolly. We have to do something else.¡± ¡°Shh¡ Moira. I think she¡¯s waking up¡± ¡°O, hallo sweetie! You slept well? ¡° Moira asks me. I try to move and realize my arm hurts badly. ¡°What¡ what happened?¡± My voice is muffled. ¡°Oh, we are hoping the doors of the Campus to open any minute sweetie.¡± ¡°My arm. It hurts¡¡± ¡°You¡¯ve got hit by Rolly¡¯s bullet. She thought you are bishops and shoot at you.¡± Says a boy standing next to me. ¡°Thankfully Moira got it out while you were still in unconsciousness.¡± The girl says with a big smile revealing her white teeth. ¡°And uh, I am Rolly¡ and I¡¯m so very sorry for shooting you. This is my younger brother Rico.¡± She points at the boy. ¡°Oh, well, thanks. It was a refreshing feeling.¡° I say in a hopeless try to be funny. She hardly laughs: ¡°I hope you get better soon.¡± Suddenly I remember the dream that I had. The same train again, but this time it was travelling through a city made of luminescent lights, high glass buildings and skyscrapers. Someone was standing behind me, touching my hairs and repeating my name. In the window in front of me I was seeing my strange reflection. Long curly red hair, green eyes, freckles, fine figure. Everything that describes me but I was standing there observing, like the environment wasn¡¯t real, like I wasn¡¯t real. After a brief moment of surprise I tell to Moira and the others of my bizarre dream. ¡°What was the city like?¡± Moira asks me. Is this the only thing she could think of? ¡°I have already told you. It was weird. It had so many buildings and they were all made of glass. I couldn¡¯t see much.¡± I answer. ¡°How about the person behind you?¡± ¡°It was a man. I couldn¡¯t see him very well aswell, actually I didn¡¯t see him at all. I was looking at my own reflection almost all the time.¡± ¡°Why would you do that?¡± Her questions are getting more and more persistent. ¡°I don¡¯t know. There was something strange in my reflection.¡± ¡°Felt like it¡¯s not you?¡± ¡°Yes, exactly.¡± I answer. She sighs softly. ¡°I think you need to get rest. I¡¯m going to look for some food, you should stay here with Rico. Come on Rolly lets go.¡± I look at Moira and Rolly as they walk away. So many questions are fighting in my mind which one to be asked first. I turn at Rico and just spit the first one: ¡°Would you tell me what have happened there? What was that thing that was chasing you two?¡± The questions are rolling one after another. ¡°What happened after I passed out?¡± I talk so fast and even I can¡¯t catch my breath. ¡°Calm down Teyreen. You will suffocate.¡± Rico says peacefully. ¡°Tell me all! I have to know!¡± I insist. ¡°We bumped on a sentry on our way back home and it attacked us. We were trying to run away from it when Moira managed to distract it. But we didn¡¯t know it was her. So when we saw you both we thought that you are bishops and started shooting at you. You got hit by one of Rolly¡¯s bullets and passed out.¡± He recites quickly. ¡°Wait, wait, wait! What¡¯s a sentry and a bishop?¡± ¡°We call sentries these animals which are hunting here during the nights. And bishops¡ well, those are some nasty creatures that protect the sentries.¡± ¡°So there are monster out here during the night?¡± I ask almost afraid of the answer. ¡°Oh, no, they are not monsters. They are just hungry animals.¡± ¡°Just hungry animals?! They sounded like some giant hungry animals!¡± I look around as if one of them is hiding in the weeds nearby. ¡°Oh, yes, they are pretty massive but not so big just¡ massive.¡± ¡°What happened when I passed out?¡± ¡°The sentry when after Moira¡¯s explosion bar and we hid in the subway where we saw Moira who was trying to take the bullet out of your arm. You slept like a baby the whole night after that don¡¯t worry.¡± He hesitates: Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit. ¡°Nothing else happened.¡± Long moment of uncomfortable silence. I realize that the answers he gave me only gave birth to more questions. But I feel tired and don¡¯t ask more. Blissful feeling and I fall asleep again. The train. The noises. My reflection but not me. I¡¯m attracted to the reflection once again. And then a thought sneaks in my mind: ¡°What is going on here?¡± I turn and look around. It is just a regular train. But why do I always dream it? The only difference between my dreams is that the train is never traveling the same direction as the previous dream. I walk out of the cabin and find myself in the tight long corridor of the train. There¡¯s no one even there. Choosing the left path I start walking slowly checking every cabin which I pass by. They are all empty. A second after I sense something weird: something is trying to pull be back and it all turns black. ¡°Come back Teyreen! Come back now!¡± Rico screaming at me and shaking my body. I hardly open my eyes to see his frightened face above me. ¡°Something weird was going on with you Teyreen.¡± He says. ¡°What do you mean by weird?¡± I try to open my eyes. ¡°You were¡ you were¡ I don¡¯t know how to explain it. At first you were here sleeping calmly, the next moment you were gone for like five minutes or so and after that you came back out of the thin air!¡± Not long after Moira and Rolly are back caring some fruits and herbs laughing softly. Drawn in my own thoughts I don¡¯t say a word, even though Rico can¡¯t stop talking. He shares everything with them even the dream which I had told him previously. At first they only listen. ¡°Just what I have thought.¡± says Rolly in the end and turns my way. ¡°You can travel Teyreen!¡± Her words pull me back to the reality. She seems to be very excited. ¡°Travel? What do you mean I can travel?¡± ¡°Tell me Teyreen was the city under a mountain like ours?¡± she asks. ¡°I think it was, yes. Does it matter?¡± ¡°Of course it matters! You can travel between time and space, from one place to another, from one moment to another!¡° now she is so excited that her eyes look like they are going to pop out any minute. ¡°You mean something like teleporting?¡± ¡°Yes, well, something like this but not exactly.¡± ¡°This is just ridiculous Rolly! I was having a foolish dream nothing more.¡± ¡°Can¡¯t you see! She doesn¡¯t get it! I knew we shouldn¡¯t tell her.¡± Suddenly says Moira out of anger. ¡°Let¡¯s just get her home safely and forget about this. Alright?¡± ¡°I think she should know Moira.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t think so!¡± now Moira is almost shouting at Rolly¡¯s face. Anger overwhelms me aswell and I intrude them: ¡°Do I have the word about this or not? After all it¡¯s me who you are talking about! Right?¡± They both look shocked but neither one of them says a thing until Rolly looks at me and says: ¡°Come on Teyreen. We are returning back to the Campus. They have opened the doors.¡± She grabs my waist and pulls me up. I didn¡¯t hear the sound of the doors opening but from here I can already see the giant windows glowing under the morning sun. This whole thing exhausted me and right now all I desire is to lay in my bed and forget all. Soon we are standing in front of a window with a lattice with three missing pieces just like the one on my window. Obviously it¡¯s not just me who have found a way to open a window and break the lattices. Through the apartment probably of Rico and Rolly I got back on the familiar streets of the Campus and head my way home. We split up without a word. After all they are only some people who I don¡¯t know. My home is waiting. As I enter through the door I see myself in the mirror. A girl with a bondage on the left arm is staring at me. My curly hair is a mess, my eyes are almost closed, but this is me. Chapter 4 - The crowd. It¡¯s eight in the morning and I feel enervate. I push myself to get up before I am late for the breakfast. I don¡¯t like going in the dining room. Every time I enter I see people standing on the tables and talking with their relatives and friends, having fun together¡it makes me feel devastated. ¡°Oh, Teyreen hell§à!¡± it¡¯s Rico running and waving towards me. Now I can see how beautiful he is. Around fifteen years old. Tall and elegant with shaggy blond hair and aqua blue eyes. He has some interesting charm for his age. ¡°Hi Rico.¡± I catch myself staring at him but it seems he doesn¡¯t notice and continues talking: ¡°I saw you coming and thought you could join us for a meal.¡± He says and I can see him blushing. ¡°But... Rolly wanted to stop me. She thought you would prefer to be with your friends not with us.¡± ¡°Honestly I don¡¯t have friends here.¡± I say with cold face. ¡°Oh, alright. It means you can come and join us! ¡° he looks excited. ¡°I don¡¯t want to disturb you but thank you for the invitation.¡± ¡°Of course you wouldn¡¯t disturb us!¡± he says over excited and starts pulling my hand. And there they are Moira, Rolly and some other people standing together around the table joking and laughing. Everything I hate gathered together. I¡¯m not much of a social person. The peace of the loneliness comforts me. And now I am being pulled into the vortex of society. This is something which I carefully tried to escape for years. ¡°So you were right and she came with you.¡± Rolly laughs and pokes Rico in the arm. ¡°So this is the girl you have spoken so much about?¡± says a muscular guy left of him with bronze skin and bright green eyes. Quite charming one. ¡°And she¡¯s a beauty! Now I see why you were so excited about her. You had to tell us Rico!¡± another muscular guy starts to tease him and he is standing there without a shirt like some sort of deity. I wonder why are they all looking so strong. Have they all joined the ¡®¡¯Fitness maniac ¡°sports club? It makes me feel small and weak. ¡°Isn¡¯t she old for you Rico!¡± says a girl with shrill voice but beautiful smile. ¡°It¡¯s not like this Nashira and you know it!¡± Obviously I look frightened because Moira starts to talk calmly to me: ¡°Don¡¯t worry they are always like this when they see someone new. Fortunately they will stop soon.¡± ¡°I¡¯m not worried. Just not used to this.¡± I answer with a small smile. ¡°Guys let me introduce Teyreen to you! The girl who was wandering where she¡¯s not allowed to and passed out after realizing she¡¯s not at the right place in the right moment!¡± Moira says to the small crowd loudly. ¡°The shirtless young guy is Ory, next to him is Amun and last but not least of course our lady Nashira. You know the others.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t be afraid of us Teyreen we don¡¯t bite¡ usually!¡± says Amun aloud. ¡°But we might blind you with our awesomeness!¡± Ory starts to tease me. ¡°You have already blinded me guys, especially you Ory!¡± I wink at them and wonder if their behavior is contagious. The whole company feels so cheerful. I have never liked big groups but here is so relaxing like they are all floating freely. ¡°You know Teyreen, after breakfast we will go to the lawn. Usually we train there at our free time if you like you can come with us.¡± Rolly offers me in a while. ¡°I¡¯ve heard you can travel. If you come with us you might collect some more information about this by the people who go there.¡± Amun lowers his voice, almost whispers. ¡°What do you train?¡± the first question to pop in my mind. Couldn¡¯t I think of something smarter to ask. ¡°To fight of course. How else to protect yourself outside of the Campus if you can¡¯t fight? And those who can travel ¨C they train how to control it.¡± Says Nashira so quietly representing it like some great news with a big smile on her face like she forecasts wonderful weather. ¡°Brilliant! It sounds like my sort of thing!¡± My heart starts beating quickly I can almost hear my pulse in my ears. The thought of going outside again and being trained how to protect myself inspires me. The time passes by quickly and soon I marvel how the hell I brought myself here where people are being trained how to shoot and fight when I have to be working at the lab. I escaped my hardly earned workplace to join a bunch of weird muscular people who are punching at each other¡¯s faces. Am I so addicted to my little walks outside? Is my curiosity so widely spread so I have to surpass my own principles and join those people? Something is pulling me strongly this way and I can¡¯t resist it. ¡°Are you going to stay there forever and just observe or you will take a part?¡± Moira pushes me. ¡°I don¡¯t see you training either.¡± ¡°I have done my training already. I¡¯m too old for this don¡¯t you think sweetie.¡± Moira sends me a devilish smile and prompts me to go and join them. Preciously I step ahead in hope that they won¡¯t be too harsh on me. Amun sees my uncertainty and asks: ¡°Is there something you are good at? We can start with it.¡± ¡°Knives.¡± I am almost mumbling under my nose. ¡°I can throw knives.¡± ¡°Great show me!¡± he points at a target hung on a tree not far from us. In a flash of a moment I grab the knife in my boot and throw it with incredible speed right in the center of the target. Suddenly everyone the lawn is staring at me. Feels like I have achieved something great. ¡°Where has this came from?! It was amazing Teyreen!¡± Rico looks like he is going to applaud me any minute. ¡°Great you are very accurate sweetie. Good for you! ¡°says Moira like she didn¡¯t expect it. The fortune of my great throwing soon fades away and it¡¯s again just me and Amun who is committed to teach me how to shoot as good as I throw knives. After a long morning of shooting lessons we head to the dining room again for lunch. Then I remember I have work which is still waiting for me and I haven¡¯t attended for a day and half. Absolutely disappointed I tell them I have to leave immediately and on my way to my workplace I feel surprised of the initiation that I have showen today. But my feelings are circling around the fear of what my boss is going to do with me when I show up and the excitement of the experience I have just had. Fearfully I enter the lab and head for the master¡¯s office. And there he is standing with his most ugly face looking bloodthirsty at me. Feels like I am lamb hunted by a wild tiger. Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings. ¡°Teyreen Moore! How kind of her majesty to grant us her presence in this wonderful evening! Where have you been yesterday? This will cost you your work place, you fool!¡± he is shouting at me and I am sure that even on the lawn he can be heard. ¡°I apologize for my disappearance Mr. Aviorn but I was very sick yesterday and I couldn¡¯t get up of the bed.¡± I count the dirty spots on the tips of my boots and try to avoid his eyes. ¡°And her majesty has no mobile to call us and say she is sick today?¡± ¡°As I said I had no power even to get up of the bed and I sincerely apologize for my unthoughtful action.¡± I try to hide myself but there just nowhere to do it. ¡°You will have to work overtime for the discharged hours. These are ten hours for yesterday and four for today because you are late! This means seven extra hours today and seven more tomorrow! Those researches are not going to do themselves! Now leave!¡± ¡°But Mr. Aviorn! This means I should leave work at two in the morning!¡± ¡°Now you wish you haven¡¯t been sick don¡¯t you? Leave now if you don¡¯t want one extra hour for the little chat we are having!¡± I hate him. I can¡¯t even depict the horrible scenes in my head in which I torture him. Disgusting little old man disappointed from his own life trying to ruin the lives of the others. Although I am grumpy of what have just happened I proceed with the work I had left. ¡°There she is Dr. Teyreen Moore! Head of the genetics researches. She will guide you through the work process here.¡± My colleague Suky. ¡°Teyreen, this is the new promising frame in our lab, Janny O¡¯Hara. He will be you assistant for the next two years.¡± She almost throws him in my arms and leaves the lab. ¡°Great¡¡± I say but she¡¯s already gone. ¡°So¡ Janny right?¡± ¡°Yes, ma¡¯am .¡± he looks frightened. ¡°Please don¡¯t call me like this. My name is Teyreen and I would love if you use it... or if you don¡¯t like it Dr. Moore would do too.¡± I say as I try to look as kind as I can although I am in vary bad mood. ¡°Yes, of course Dr. Moore.¡± ¡°What we do here are genetic researches as you already know. My specialty is restoration and modification of long gone organisms or simply said artificial recreation of nature. But of course you wouldn¡¯t do that until I say you are ready.¡± I look at him from head to toe though his appearance could tell me if he will be good at this or not. ¡°I will be only your assistant.¡± Disappointed he answers me. ¡°Yes, exactly.¡± Now I see he has the typical nerdy look ¨C round glasses, shaggy and dirty hair like he had no shower for days. His body is so weak and I have the feeling that it¡¯s almost gone under the apron he is wearing. ¡°Now go and make me a Latte because we are working until two am today.¡± My mood must be really bad since I am so rude to him but he seems to be executive. It¡¯s already five o¡¯clock and I feel tired but I can¡¯t leave now although I really want to. The whole day Janny is silent and only follows my orders strictly. Surprisingly I start to like him and in a brief moment of wonder a question comes out in my mind. I don¡¯t know if I should ask it or not but suddenly it just jumps out of my mouth: ¡°Janny have you ever thought of going outside of the Campus?¡± Long silence. Now I feel sorry for asking. Looks like this questions bothers him. ¡°I have never thought of such thing Dr. Moore, it is forbidden and dangerous.¡± He doesn¡¯t even look me in the eyes and this makes me think he is lying. ¡°You lie. I can feel it.¡± ¡°Dr. Moore if someone hear us talking about this we will be both arrested, it¡¯s forbidden!¡± he looks scared. ¡°You have never been interested in what¡¯s outside? Not even a bit?¡± I put my cutest smile and look straight at him. Finally almost unheard he answers me: ¡°Constantly.¡± He looks like a little child who have done a lot of mischief. ¡°I knew it!¡± Strangely I am not surprised, after all he is a scientist. Now I know that he has the spirit. My shift is over and I am so tired and I really want to go to sleep but something tickles me. I have to go to the lawn and check if they are still there it will be weird if they are but I have to see. The streets are never dark during the nights although they are empty but the air is always strange and it gives you the feeling that someone is stalking you. Even the slight sound gives you the chills. The lawn is deep in the forest and the road seems endless to me. The streets might be bright during the nights but the only thing that lights up the forest is the artificial moon and it makes it scary as hell. Finally I am there and I am surprised to see many people fighting with each other. My eyes are gliding through the crowd and try to find someone familiar. And there they are. Moira and Amun sitting together on a bench and laughing. As I go their way one by one the unknown people start to stare at me. Then Amun spots me. ¡°Teyreen! Come, come! Don¡¯t worry guys she¡¯s with us!¡± he says aloud to the people gathered around us. It seems that they are relived because they all start to disperse. ¡°You stupid girl! What do you think you are doing?¡± Moira grabs me for the arm. ¡°What¡¯s the problem?¡± I can¡¯t understand them at first they are welcoming and now they are not. ¡°What do you think will happen if an outsider finds out what we are doing here?¡± Amun looks badly at me but his eyes have that cheerful spark. ¡°You will be all arrested I guess.¡± And I am trying to hide myself again, I must be truly stupid to appear like this - uninvited. ¡°That¡¯s why they were all going to eat you up to the bones if we weren¡¯t here, sweetie!¡± now Moira is calmer and I feel a little better. I almost though that I have done something really, really bad. ¡°What are you doing here so late?¡± suddenly Amun asks me out of curiosity. ¡°I had a late shift at work. Actually my boss punished me for missing work yesterday and today.¡±
