The boy, Hinatsuki Maki, using his avatar in the VR game [Lost Haven], {Sen} is walking towards the town through the way he found After he arrived, In the town he went to a shop and sold the things he found at the cave and leave ¡°Sen!¡±(???) ¡°Mh?¡±(Maki/Sen) with a carefree-like sound a boy around the same age as Maki, walks toward his direction ¡°Oh, Tsukasa¡±(Maki) ¡°I told you to call me {Bard} when we¡¯re in the game!¡±(Tsukasa/Bard) ¡°Ah, I forgot¡±(Maki) ¡°Haaa¡­Nevermind that, Please help me with something¡±(Tsukasa) The boy signing in front of Maki, Nagasaki Tsukasa, is a childhood friend of Maki in reality, but now they are in a little distance away from each other because Maki had to move before ¡°Sure, as long as its within my capabilities¡±(Maki) ¡°Thanks! As Maki said, both of them prepared themselves, Tsukasa picking his shinai while Maki took out a pair of black gloves which he modified as a self-defense weapon just in case of him being caught up with deliquents near his part-time job ¡°You really liked that huh, your ¡­ From what I remember that was the first successful handicraft you made when we we¡¯re in middle school¡±(Tsukasa) Maki nodded as he wear his gloves though it wasn¡¯t actually a weapon since it was actually just that he really liked to wear it whenever he would get into fights during his working shift ¡°You ready now?¡±(Maki) ¡°Yes, why don¡¯t we go to the convenience store to buy some drinks and snack while we wait for this countdown?¡±(Tsukasa) Dumbfounded by the suggestion given by Tsukasa. Maki signed for the airheaded friend of his while he agreed ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ¡°Maki isn¡¯t that fidgeting girl Tsukishima Mana?¡±(Tsukasa) Pointing at the silver-haired girl fidgeting near the convenience store, the two youth close in on the maiden while Tsukasa called over her ¡°Tsukishima-san, is something wrong?¡±(Tsukasa) The girl, Tsukishima Mana was known in their class as the ¡°Rabbit Maiden¡± due to her behavior when she is conversing with people and her silver hair. Everytime she talked she would always show her honest feelings giving out a cheerful smile when happy and when she feels sad or depressed she would droop all day like lonely rabbit, though she is still a little bit airheaded when it comes to the subject of her own Romance ¡°Oh, Hinatsuki-kun, Nagasaki-kun hello¡±(Mana) ¡°Hello Tsukishima-san, please just call me Maki instead of my last name¡±(Maki) ¡°Call me also by my first name then, okay Maki-kun?~¡±(Mana) ¡°Sure, Mana-san¡±(Maki) ¡°Then call me by my first name to Mana-chan~~¡±(Tsukasa) ¡°*giggle* okay Tsukasa-kun¡±(Mana) The two laugh until Maki repeated the question he gave to Mana earlier, ¡°Mana-san, what we¡¯re you fidgeting for earlier?¡±(Maki) ¡°Umm¡­Its just that I¡¯m anxious of what is happening¡­ everyone is so enchanted by the aurora that they didn¡¯t even notice this things appearing out of nowhere¡±(Mana) ¡°You too, i see we¡¯re headed to the convenience store, to buy some things while we wait for this countdown to finish¡±(Maki) ¡°I¡¯m glad, that you guys also noticed it¡­ the others that saw this windows appearing thought it was only an illusion, still it gave me a bad feeling like a disaster was about to be unfold¡±(Mana) ¡°Lets go inside then we¡¯ll try to prepare ourselves if it would really be something bad¡±(Maki) Suggested by Maki as the three went inside the convenience store buying some snacks and other items¡­ ________________________________________ Countdown until The Merge is Complete: 00:59:20

Chapter 1: Start Of Disaster Chapter 1: Start of Disaster "Maki, we only have one hour left"(Tsukasa) "Let''s go then, Mana-san! The girl replied in a cheerful voice contrary to what is happening outside "Okay!"(Mana) The three youth went to pay in the cashier then they head outside. Not knowing where to go next, they discussed on where they would make their own base "Where will we go next?"(Mana) Mana asked as she was fidgeting which clearly states her anxiousness. The two boys pondered for a moment then at the same time gave their suggestion ""How about the old house?""(Maki/Tsukasa) "Old House?"(Mana) "Mana-san, have you ever noticed the old European Building near the school?"(Maki) Maki asked as he was wondering why Mana doesn''t know about it only to be puzzled by her answer "Oh you mean Atelier Orbis Manor?"(Mana) "Atelier Orb-what?"(Tsukasa) Now it was the two who was puzzled "It is a Dorm for High School students, College students, and some office workers both male and female though we''re only seven people right now"(Mana) The two guys looked at each other before questioning her ""Your living there!?""(Maki/Tsukasa) "Mm...You see my parents are always overseas due to their work as archaeologist, and since I''m the only child it was decided that I will be living in a Dormitory near the school"(Mana) She stated while they''re heading towards the Dorm where she lives. They run for they only have an hour left, they passed through some people, whom are still looking towards the sky watching the aurora, while most have already noticed the situation as they look at the window floating in front of them and was followed by screams and shrieks, filling the streets with chaos as they run towards shelters, houses, and other buildings that can shade them while they panickedly waited for the countdown to finish The three continued to run until they stopped in front of a building made of what looks like an antique wood and Moss-covered stone walls, combined with the aurora that was currently painting the sky, the boys gasped out of admiration but quickly snapped out of it as they followed Mana inside the house "I''m Home"(Mana) ""Sorry for intruding...""(Maki/Tsukasa) Contrary to to the exterior of the house, its interior looks completely the same with Modern Japanese houses. They looked inside is a woman, whom lokoed at them as if they we''re thieves that trespassed her house, while pointing a knife towards them "Minase-san! Its me Mana!"(Mana) Mana shouted at the woman, trying to convince her to drop the kitchen knife that she was holding. She looked at Mana for a few seconds then slowly she put down the knife as she looked at Tsukasa and Maki, while she cautiously walked towards them Mana seeing this slowly felt relieved, as she introduced the two boys with her "Minase-san, this red-haired boy is Tsukasa-kun and the other one is Maki-kun, they are my classmates"(Mana) As she presented the two whom are nervous due to being glared at by the woman. The two boys nervously introduced themselves "H-hello, I''m Nagasaki Tsukasa"(Tsukasa) "I''m Hinatsuki Maki"(Maki) "Oh, I''m... uh I''m Tachigawa Minase, Sorry for glaring at you Hinatsuki-kun, Nagasaki-kun"(Minase) "Um, n-no its f-fine Tachigawa-san"(Tsukasa) "We don''t mind it, after all the outside right now is in chaos"(Maki) The other two, Mana and Tsukasa nodded at what Maki stated, while Minase is a bit perplexed due to her only hearing the screams and shrieks that was coming from outside the house ****************************************************************************************************** "Your the only one here right now, Tachigawa-san?"(Tsukasa) Tsukasa, who finally recovered from his nervousness earlier, Minase as he noticed that there are no other people inside the house. Minase answered Tsukasa with a worried tone "Yes, the others went outside before this things happened"(Minase) "I see"(Maki) The gloomy atmosphere around them change when a window appeared which made the three''s (Minase''s, Mana''s, and Tsukasa''s) face grimaced while Maki is letting out a horrified aura, as they read the window If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. "Wai-" *********************************************************** ~~~Third Person~~~ Particles of light have gathered in the living room as Maki and the others have regained their consciousness feeling lethargic "Ugh...are you guys all right?"(Tsukasa) "I''m fine Nagasaki-kun, just need to breathe"(Minase) "I''m just feeling a slight dizziness"(Mana) "I''m fine more importantly look outside the window"(Maki) The three moved towards the window where Maki is, and found that the aurora disappeared replaced with monsters along with some people wearing armors and weapons fighting the said monster while retreating to one of the mansions near the place where Maki and the others are, there are people with cat ears or pointy ears like the elves found in games and fictions Maki noticed one of them, all alone run towards the Manor as it successfully escaped from the monster group, the said person located the gate and immediately closed and locked it. After it catch its breath it headed straight to the door of the manor When Minase saw that it was about to enter the manor she and Tsukasa went to the doorway and prepared themselves. Minase gripping the kitchen knife tightly while Tsukasa prepared his shinai while the other Maki and Mana are there observing the situation cautiously *Creak* The door opened slowly and tension inside the room raised. Then the person in question entered the room, when she noticed the four she immediately took a combat stance. The four gasped as they saw the persons appearance they knew it is a female due to her characteristics, Green eyes that gives you the illusion of a forest, black hair with white and blue strands as if it was made by the night sky, though she is flat her body in overall shows that she is like Forest looming under the night sky "Who are you!?-"(???) The Girl shouted at the group while she gripped her weapon, a dagger with a clear blue color making it look like its blade was made of glass and its hilt made of sapphire. The four regained their composure when she shouted at them Unexpectedly Mana stepped in, though shaking, nervously answered the girl back "I-i a-am T-Tsukishima Mana!"(Mana) "I see, can you guys tell me wher-"(???) Rivielle seeing their state calmly put aside her dagger to calm them, in turn asking the names of the other three. The group signed in relief and put aside their weapons, while they answer her vigilantly "Nagasaki Tsukasa"(Tsukasa) "Tachigawa Minase"(Minase) "Hinatsuki Maki"(Maki) Rivielle as she heard their names went deep in thought, then look at the others "Am I in the East?, They shouldn''t have this kind of buildings, Hey Is this country the East?"(Rivielle) The others look at each other trying to understand the question of Rivielle. "If look at the map yes this country is in the East but the name of the country your in is called Japan"(Maki) "Japan,japan,japan"(Rivielle) Repeating the country''s name, Rivielle was again deep in thought *GWRAAAHHHHH* Suddenly a loud roar revebrated into the room. Curious Minase look out at the window near her "Guys there is a monster trying to break the gate!"(Minase) When they heard what Minase saw they went outside to see the monster except for Mana who only stayed near the door afraid to see the monster. Maki picked up a thin metal pipe that was near the door gripping it tightly while taking a Bojutsu stance, while Minase was near Mana gripping the Kitchen Knife tightly, Tsukasa side by side with Maki taking an Iai stance. Rivielle was in front of them gracefully pulling out her dagger at the same time taking her combat stance, while looking at the monster and the others In front of them was a monster with the body of gorilla, covered in grey hair,that had a lion''s head, at its forehead is another eye different from the other two, as it glows a raging yellow as it look at the people at the back of the gate "Wha-what kind of monster is that!?"(Minase) "That is Culpa Leo, a monster created from the lingering mana of a Mythical Beast specifically the Lion and Ape types"(Rivielle) "Okay~ that look is very weird but still its scary"(Tsukasa) "Prepare yourselves it going to charge through the gate!"(Maki) *GWRRAAAAHHHH* The Culpa Leo roared and charged straight through the gate, as Rivielle explained the monster while Tsukasa prepared himself as he complained and joke about the appearance of the Monster. The group concentrated when the monster broke the gate and headed straight through them The monster let out a punch at Rivielle, which she gracefully evaded by spinning to the left, while she slice through its Iron-like skin. She followed through a second attack by kicking the ground cutting to the left side of the monster. The monster roared as it was annoyed that it can''t hit Rivielle. Tsukasa along with Maki rushed in front of the monster. Tsukasa hit the left side of the monster''s face, while Maki thrust through the monster''s throat, as the monster coughed out blood "Can you guys hold it for a bit? I''m just going try something"(Rivielle) "Oh come on how can we even hold him with this stuff, plus-"(Tsukasa) "Tsukasa, Get Down"(Maki) Tsukasa is giving a complain to Rivielle just as Maki warned him since the monster was about to give him a jab. When Tsukasa ducked, Maki went behind and sent a powerful bash on its head, which stunned it a little "HHAAAAHHH!"(Minase) Minase whom had been shaken up by the battle shouted with vigor, sprinted to the monster''s back and stab it. The monster noticed her and was about to send her with a punch when a vase was thrown to its head. It turn its head to where the vase came from, which is Mana making her shiver when she noticed her action. The monster roared as it was annoyed by the attacks coming from Maki and Tsukasa interrupting it from retaliating Minase''s and Mana''s attacks "Get away from it now!"(Rivielle) Rivielle gave them a signal to get away from the Culpa Leo. They immediately get away from it and look at Rivielle or more specifically at her dagger which shines in an icy blue as she dashed through the monster "<>"(Rivielle) As she muttered those words she slashed through the monsters body at a speed that creates afterimages. Every time she moved and attack around the monster, Cuts appeared on its skin along with some ice preventing its wounds from closing. After the nth cut Rivielle backed away breathing heavily. The Culpa Leo noticing the exhausted Rivielle took the oppurtunity to kill her along with it When the the monster''s hand was about to reach and crush Rivielle''s head, Maki interfered by giving an upwards strike to its hand following it with a numerous strikes and thrust to the cuts, made by Rivielle''s previous barrage of slashes and cuts, making it worse as the monster was slowly dying. Seeing this Maki finished it by jumping and giving a thrust to the Cupla''s third eye making it howl in pain as it slowly fell down, it life disappearing. The group fell down as they let out a sign of relief. The corpse turned into particles of light startling the others, as it leave a large fur, meat, and a gemstone of sorts with a black mark in the middle making it look like an eye While the others are resting Maki picked the items from the Cupla Leo, after picking everything a giant shadow passed by making the others stiffen as they look at the source making them sweat. At the sky a Giant green eagle flying majestically "Get back inside!!!"(Rivielle) The group hearing Rivielle run to the mansion despite their exhausted body just to get away from the eagle''s sight. As they entered Tsukasa immediately closed the door and fell down from further moving his tired body the group at the same time followed from collapsing due to exhaustion Chapter 3: Disaster Loot Rewards "What..(hah)....the..F*ck...was that!?"(Tsukasa) Tsukasa exclaimed loudly remembering the Green bird that they saw earlier as he and the others are breathing heavily "That..(hah)was...a Breeze eagle...a bird-type monster that can use wind magic"(Rivielle) "Ma..(huff)gic?"(Mana) Hearing the details about the bird they saw, Minase felt hopeless while Mana was curious about magic that she heard from Rivielle. Maki stood up and went to the living room of the manor closing all windows except for the one near the table and put down the things they picked up from the Culpa Leo. The others followed suit as Mana began to inquire from Rivielle about Magic that she heard "Magic? What about magic?"(Rivielle) "I mean what did you mean about the bird from earlier using magic?"(Mana) Hearing this the others got curious from just hearing the word magic, as they look at Rivielle "Well a Breeze eagle is capable of using wind magic though it can only be up to intermediate level since it is monster that was born from Wind-type Plures"(Rivielle) "Plures"(Minase) Minase asked joining on to the inquiry "Plures or in other words magic power is as it entails, a power needed to use magic?
