《Project Exonaut》 Phase I - The Beginning Of The End I wake up in the darkness blindly trying to find my gun, I quickly grab what feels like a handle. I feel the gun until I found the light switch, I look around my area wondering what happened to me. It was a strange flesh like dark, moving cave. It kept moving and the walls were shaking roughly. Quickly I grab my Exo arm suit that appeared behind me flashing a blue light, I press the distress signal with clear understanding an enemy could find me instead. The rocks around me keep shaking vigorously, thrashing on the cold ground. My codename is Kyo, I am a soldier fighting for the Intergalactic Union and our sworn enemy is recognized asNova¡¯s. I remember sitting on one of the tanks shooting on the space shuttles that kept landing on the field until a sudden bright star of fire came crashing onto the battlefield killing everyone but me. I spot a moving figure and instantly prepare for a fight, the flashlight didn¡¯t do much good in terms of seeing anything. I reach down for a rock and throw where I saw the figure, something small and fast moves away from the rock. I could barely keep the flashlight on it but it halts to a stop facing me, both of us standing still just showing blank looks at each other. it made a move towards me, the trigger halfway down, I follow its action moving away, the creature is not something you want near you. Nova timers, creatures that have a cosmic body with the reflexes of exploding when scared or shocked. It would be the end of me if that Timer decided now was a good time to blow, slowly I reach out to pull the flashlight out interestingly the timer follows my actions as if it''s a dog. Slowly I attempt to feel my grenade belt, I slowly pull the pin behind my back and throw the grenade at the creature. In surprise the Timer attempted to jump but appeared to have slipped unusually, it fell face first just when the grenade touched its nose. I jumped so far away the second it slipped I bet I could win the Olympics, the grenade exploded reducing the Timer into a slimy mess. I collect myself and grab my gun and put the flashlight back in and try to walk my way out of this mess. It felt like hours have passed by endlessly walking in circles in this cave. I felt too exhausted to go on and stopped to take a breather, the ceiling kept convulsing and wriggling like worms. Honestly, i would be surprised if I got eaten by something and I''m just going through its process. , I really had no choice left, I didn''t feel like walking circles anymore and decided on blowing myself the hell out of here. I set the gun to launcher mode and set a grenade in its holder. I believe two things will happen I will probably one end up shooting a hole and acid will flow in and I will turn into a puddle of goo in seconds. Or two I will be able to get out of this place without dying, point the gun up and let it rip. A massive hole opened up and bloody rubble and dust came out, this cave must have really been alive but that doesn''t matter anymore a battlefield is still going on above me. ¡°RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.¡± a soldier screams while just beyond the fronthorizon of the hole the mother ship was coming to land. The cave suddenly jolted under me and shot me out through the hole onto the field letting me see what I was missing out on, soldierswere getting shot and turned to ashes as the mother ship was releasing a bullet hell. Shots just flying past me I start running but shortly after tripping over a body of a Nova drone falling into a small pool of disgusting blue nova blood. ¡°Well so much for getting the suit cleaned yesterday!¡± I get up to rub the blood off me and keep running. Running tirelessly I felt a huge heat shock on my right leg. I fell overonto the ground.My leg starting to turn into a block of ice freezing while it crawls up my leg. Another shot flies by followed by more shots until I stared directly into a blue charge coming right for me. The freeze already climbed up to my waist limiting much of my movements. I turned myself to avoid the shot but it hit the side of my face, the ice grew and crawled further onto my face there was nothing I could do here the ice felt so cold. I was freezing everywhere the ice took over my lower half of my body, the ice on my face covered my eyes and in mere seconds my body felt frozen entirely. Despite being a human popsicle I still could hear what was going on around me, screaming, explosions so much was happening but the cold was too much to bear I couldn''t take anymore. The freezing was fading, warmth flowed throughout my body. My hearing started fading quickly, everything was becoming silent and pitch black, so instead of dying in a fiery ball of doom on a ship while I shoot down these bastards, I will die a human popsicle a pretty non-awesome way to die isn''t it?This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. I woke up in my room, it happened again the same dream I''ve been having for a week now. I look out my window seeing nothing but a starry night and the lights of ships flying around. I get up and shuffle myself into the bathroom and slipped. ¡°Man, I told them not to wax my floors.¡± I continue walking grabbing on the walls, I clean myself up and put on the Exo suit. Exo suits are futuristic battle gears that all soldiers are to wear even on their break, only time we take it off is when we sleep, powerful enough it could destroy a mother ship with enough reactor energy. I grab the suit, put it on and walk out the door to the briefing room. *** The commander was in the front giving his battle strategy for the next battle, I sit in my place to listen to the plan. The commander was Peyton a short guy with a muscular build, talent in being able analyzing the enemy¡¯s strategy during battle quickly moved him up the ranks. Peyton finished his plan and told us to prepare for battle tomorrow. Ever since this war got more intense, everyone has been suspicious of each other. Only recently did we learn that the enemy we were fighting had the power to control people only minutes after death. Even though we were told that for there to be an enemy in the base the body would have to be as intact as possible and in this war, not a single body is ever found or much less intact. I head out of the Briefing room and head to the gun shop for some modifications. On the way I meet Ace, the top sniper of the 32nd Squadron. ¡°Heading to the gun shop?¡± I responded ¡°Of course I am the battle is tomorrow.¡± Ace said ¡°Well then head to the reactor room when your done then remember you have to charge your suit up.¡± ¡°I won''t forget.¡± Ace turns into the corridor towards the reactor rooms. ¡°Kyo, back here again are ya?¡± ¡°I need the best stuff you have in stock Haichi.¡± ¡°Alright, but you know it would be nice if you would at least chat for a bit, it gets boring manning the gun shop all day.¡± Haichi is our best gun maker, a short but strong soldier, never once had he lost to anyone in an arm wrestling match. ¡°Hey Haichi have you heard anything from the testing labs?¡± ¡°Oh you mean the live specimen they caught? Yea lets say they messed up and ended up killing it with too many electrons the creates are apparently really sensitive to electrical impulses.¡± ¡°It took two convoys to bring a Viridian Nova and they killed it already?!¡± ¡°Well as far as I understand they were trying to pierce its body armor you know how thick its skin is.¡± ¡°We had to lose two tanks just to take that huge monster down.¡± ¡°I''m not the one fighting out there Kyo, you know that I do everything I can just to help everyone in this base.¡± ¡°I understand that Haichi but, why didn''t tell the rest of us? Did they think we would lose hope since many have us perished to bring that Nova down!?¡± ¡°They did tell you, just not directly to the point, the briefing you had was not admitting that they killed it.¡± ¡°What are we fighting for then? We are dying for what reason? We already lost contact with two other planets attacked by them we are just next in line.¡± ¡°Remember what Peyton said to us in the speech, ¡°We are fighting for our freedom and the right to live our own life. You all are fighting so that our next generation doesn''t have to. The enemy wants to annihilate us for their own gain. If you want to fight for your future, stand straight and march toward the face of both freedom and death.¡±¡± ¡°Most of us are going to die and be replaced what future is there if we are just walking meat shields.¡± ¡°Kyo I lost too many good friends that never came back to me already, I''m not mourning them like a wolf losing its mother, move on and keep fighting show the dead what they were fighting for is worth it.¡± ¡°Thanks, Haichi¡± ¡°Good chat Kyo, you probably should head to the reactor rooms, they want all soldiers to be there within one hour after the briefing.¡± Alright, Haichi I''ll see you when I return then.¡± ¡°Make sure you return in one piece with you head still on your shoulder.¡± I leave the gun shop and head towards the reactor rooms. I find Ace outside the door waiting for me. ¡°Took you long enough, Stupid Commander made me bird man watcher and make sure everyone charges up.¡± ¡°Oh my bad I was talking with Haichi.¡± ¡°Doesn''t matter now just get in their and charge up. Once we all wake up from sleep we will be sent on VTOL aircrafts to the battlefield.¡± ¡°See you tomorrow then Ace.¡± ¡°Don''t let the reactor bugs bite.¡± I walk into the reactor room, already filled up with others like me. Looked like bees in their honeycombs just waiting to get out. I enter my slot and slip right in, everything cools down and the light starts to dim on me. SLEEP MODE ACTIVATED *** Phase II Project Dead Space *** SLEEP MODE DEACTIVATED *** INITIATING PROTOCOL *** PROTOCOL SUCCESSFUL *** My body feels rigid, but I feel full of energy, seems like the charge was done successfully with no drawbacks. *** CHARGE FULL *** CONDITION CONFIRMED The Charging Unit finally opens up, releasing the pressure from the inside *** REMAIN STILL *** *** The latches let my body free at last, the amount of electrical power shot into my suit must have been compressed. My suit feels extremely heavy, it''s as if someone added a few tons on it. I get out of the charging unit and immediately slump towards the wall, pressure hasn¡¯t regained balanced yet very odd. I recognize Ace right next to me giving me a face that has been mesmerized by magic or something. Ace stepped back from me acting cautiously for some reason. Confused I question him ¡°Ace? Whats with the look?¡± Ace responded slowly ¡°Kyo, The charging unit¡­ It placed you on Extreme Overcharge.¡± I ask him ¡°What? But I thought I was to be placed on Minimal Overcharge!?¡± Ace just looks at me not able to say a word to me, the pressure regains control and jerks me upright. The last soldier that used Maximum Overcharge didn¡¯t survive long afterwards. I ask Ace ¡°Where is Commander Peyton?¡± Ace responds ¡°Peyton should be in the briefing room to make any possible battle strategy changes.¡± I move Ace out of the way and hurry down to Peyton. I could feel the electrical impulses pushing through my body inside the suit it wants to control me. Reif and Shik are guarding the briefing room, Reif speaks first ¡°Kyo? Whats with the electrical surges in your suit? Were you placed in Extreme Overcharge?¡± Shik stares at me blindly, I tell Reif ¡°Too many questions and not enough time to answer them let me through.¡± They both stand aside and walk through the doors and into the briefing room. *** ESTIMATED TIME UNTIL ARRIVAL OF NOVA¡¯S: 8 HOURS I yell at Peyton ¡°Peyton! Why was I placed on Overcharge?! You know how risky it is for suit and us inside it!¡± Peyton looks at me not surprised one bit ¡°Perfect timing Kyo, sit down if you keep moving like that you could short circuit the suit.¡± Completely flustered I listen to his orders and sit down, ¡°Now will you explain to me what''s going on?!¡± Peyton tells the other battalion leaders to report the battle plan to the others and sits down in front of me. The other Battalion leaders look at my suit heating up from the surges and rush out of the room. Peyton looks at me calmly and says ¡°I ordered for you to be in Overcharge Kyo, Our engineers and scientist have developed a weapon that could wipe out the Nova¡¯s fleet.¡± The surges calm down and the gauges on the suit slowly cool down. I ask Peyton ¡°If I''m on Overcharge that means this ¡°weapon¡± must require a large amount of power to work?¡± Peyton smiles at me ¡°You catch on very quickly, The weapon has been considered our best method of taking down their fleet that will be arriving.¡± I look at him concerned ¡°Peyton, the last time we had a ¡°weapon¡± It malfunctioned at the battle and caused a mass explosion that took everything with it including us, the Nova¡¯s and the entire planet itself!¡± Peyton still looks at me confidently ¡°That was a terrible disaster that clearly ended up hurting us more than the Nova¡¯s, but this time Kyo this weapon we have considered is special.¡± I look at Peyton unconvincingly ¡°What is so ¡°special¡± about this weapon then Peyton?¡± Peyton stands up and moves toward the Computer. He pulls up and Image on the projector and reveals to me what the weapon is. Peyton confidently speaks up ¡°This weapon Kyo is Project DS, It is supposed to manipulate the power in your suit and create a black hole!¡± I stand up quickly and look at him surprised and horrified ¡°Peyton! You must be insane! A black hole!? This close to our planet!? You want to kill us all don¡¯t you!¡± Peyton walks towards me ¡°Listen Kyo, Project DS is a controlled and modified black hole, Project DS is supposed to create a black hole that will expand and engulf every one of the Nova¡¯s fleet.¡± I respond angrily ¡°Expand? You expect the black hole to not engulf our own men!¡± Peyton drops the smile "It has been modified to expand in a straight cone direction so our casualties from it should be very limited, but It may end up causing damage on our side but it''s for the survival of our race and the future.¡± Peyton sits down in front of me and so do ¡°Why am I the only one Overcharged? Why must it come down to this? Must more sacrifices be done for the suicide team of our researchers?!¡± Peyton answers me slowly ¡°Kyo you know the answer to all your questions. You have been selected by the Nova Extermination Association and nothing can be done about it.¡± I couldn''t believe it the NEA has made a decision and I was their mark? I wanted to ask Peyton more things but the alarm went off. Prove Project Dead Space to be our ultimate fighting power.¡± With those words, I left to report at the loading facility. Sirens and Alarms were going off in every corridor I went through, many soldiers were getting their weapons off the shelves as they ran by. I reached out for one as well but the suit surges and shocks my hand. I was confused and tried again with the same result, is my only weapon going to be Project DS? I enter the port for the hundreds of battle cruisers docked. I pass through the checkpoint and Razor stops me ¡°Kyo, Peyton told me that you to be on the Flagship Nirvana.¡± Razor guides me through a special port elevator, it went downwards to the bottom of our station port. Through the glass, I could see Nirvana, a massive ship it truly was. I''ve never seen Nirvana in an actual battle before but from the veterans, they have said it''s like watching a planet move into a battle and I now believe them. It''s bigger than I could ever imagine, others say our battle cruisers are like giant skyscrapers sideways. Nirvana could probably hold several inside it, a massive piece of our latest and most powerful technology. On top, I could see what Peyton may have been talking about. Project DS it looks like a regular tank barrel looks like a giant mole on the ship. The elevator stops and Razor step forward and join the line of soldiers in front of me that leads into the ship. I couldn''t put into words how weird this felt, I slowly step out of the elevator and in synchronization, all the soldiers saluted me. I saluted back at them and made the trek up towards Nirvana. *** NOVA E.T.A : 2 HOURS *** I reach the opening on the side of Nirvana, The Chief Commander and Peyton were there waiting for me. I Saluted to them, no words were said, the Chief Commander bowed his head and turned toward the ship main computer, Peyton followed him and I so did I. The Chief whispered to Peyton and he signaled for me to follow him. The Chief went into what seems to be the starboard, Peyton took me through a series of twist and turns that I lost my sense of direction on the ship. We stopped at an elevator, The door opened and we stepped in. It closed behind us and up we went, Peyton said nothing as we went up. The elevator stopped shortly in a command room, we stepped off and Peyton finally said ¡°This is Project DS¡¯s control room. This is where you will charge the weapon.¡± Peyton stopped talking for a second and resumed ¡° Kyo you will sit here and the Nirvana will get you charging it.¡± I listened to his orders and sat down, the minute I sat down latches held down my body in every location. Then cords started to latch on my suit and I felt tremendous power surges coursing through me. Peyton smiled ¡°As we head out you will charge it for a small percentage to get it running.¡± I looked at Peyton and wanted to speak but no words were coming out. Peyton spoke out ¡°The amount of power needed is massive so your normal functions won''t work so we have you on a life support system. You will black out soon due to its power sapping. Sadly you won''t see us get to battle but you will see the battlefield. Mankind''s hope rests on your shoulders and this weapon Kyo.¡± Everything started fading from me, the last thing I could hear was the siren and alarms final ring. *** NOVA¡¯S E.T.A : 1 HOUR *** ALL UNITS PREPARE FOR HYPERDRIVE *** HYPERDRIVE ACTIVATING *** LAUNCHING IN *** 5 *** 4 *** 3 *** 2 *** 1 *** Everything fades into nothing and I lose grip of my consciousness. Phase III- The Vast Darkness *** The suit doesn¡¯t feel heavy anymore, I feel the energy being drained from the suit and it feel as if someone is draining the energy from my body instead. I can''t see anything, the light is way too dim to see anything but the light from Project DS is like a star in front of me. I could hear its systems charge up and it is getting very bright. I feel straps tightening on me so strongly I couldn''t move my hands or legs. My hearing seems to be gone as well I can¡¯t hear a thing but my vision seems to be slowly returning to me. I felt something trying to get in my right ear and immediately tried move away from it but the straps held me down. It crawled in and was reaching deep inside my ear then I suddenly sound bursted back into my right ear. My vision was returning still but I am still unable tmake anythingout, I felt the same thing going into my other ear. Sound once again bursts into my left ear then I could hear everything clearly again. I felt something like pincers that grab my ears and jolted them back. My head followed and it placed me on the headrest of the seat. I couldn¡¯t tell what was going on but I could make out something in front of my eyes coming in closer. It sprayed something in my left eye and vision quickly returned to it, finally I could see what it was. A metal arm was coming from the roof with many more arms coming out of it doing things with Project DS and me. It sprayed my other eye and vision returned to it as well, the straps holding me down loosened themselves. *** CONDITION STABILIZED RESUMING CHARGE TO FULL *** My body felt like a wet towel being rung out dry only 15 times over, I tried to say something but nothing could come out. *** DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SPEAK ALL BODILY DAMAGE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED PLEASE WAIT *** I sit back and let the arms go through my body, It felt like 10 minutes passed by but finally, Nirvana spoke to me again. *** PRIMARY BODY FUNCTIONS HAVE BEEN RESTORED *** I immediately ask Nirvana ¡°Nirvana what has happened in the time that I was unconscious?!¡± Nirvana didn¡¯t respond to me, I asked her again, but she still didn''t respond to me. *** REPLAYING MESSAGE FROM COMMANDER PEYTON *** ¡°Kyo, I''m guessing that by the time you wake up you will want to know what you missed. Nothing has happened since our flight out, we need you to be ready when we are going to fire Project Dead Space during battle. By the time you get this message from me, we will still be in the hyperdrive portal, Nirvana will alert you as to when we will get out of the portal but until then I will not be there.¡± The straps suddenly tightened on me again and this time it felt like my bones were going to snap. *** E.T.A 3 MINUTES ALL SEATED PASSENGERS STRAPS WILL TIGHTEN FOR SAFETY *** I heard the elevator running behind me, the straps weakened their grip a little bit on me to hopefully not crush my bones. The elevator stopped and opened its doors, ¡°So Kyo how did it feel being underpowered?¡± Peyton walks into my view and takes a look at what seems to be a power level reading. Peyton slowly brought out a smile and said ¡°Well it¡¯s already 75% that¡¯s very good, we will have to wait out the rest during the battle before we can fire it.¡± I only had one thought running through my mind, ¡°Peyton you said to me that this weapon would create a black hole that would expand and swallow everything, wouldn¡¯t that include us as well? Or even what about the other battle ships we have that will engage the Novas?¡± Peyton left the reader and placed himself on my side. He looks out the viewing window and says nothing for what felt like an eternity but finally, he spoke ¡°Kyo I can¡¯t guarantee that every soldier will make it out of this battle or attack alive. That is something we simply cannot avoid, I want every soldier to be able to come back home but that just won¡¯t happen Kyo.¡± Nirvana interrupted with her final warning *** ALL PERSONNEL E.T.A 1 MINUTE *** The ship started shaking vigorously and started to move sideways.The explosive roars from its engines made it deafening inside the ship but they quickly stopped seconds later just as it finished its maneuver. Peyton was still standing tall as if nothing happened, I realize where he stood he placed his feet on the safety line to avoid falling over. Peyton then said the last words I heard from him ¡°Kyo this may be the last time we speak, all I want to say is thank you for your service, do the terransproud soldier.¡± Peyton left my vision and entered the elevator. *** LEAVING HYPER PORTAL HYPER BUBBLE SHIELDS DEACTIVATION *** ALL UNITS PREPARE FOR BATTLE *** The viewing windows are hard for me to see through so I was unable to tell what was going on outside. It seemed as if Nirvana could read my mind and from under me a radar and a view outside off a stand. I managed to catch the portal disappearing from around the ship along with the shields, to be honest when I saw just how many ships the Novas had to fight us, I truly felt that we would be massacred. The numbers of the Novas were tremendous, The types of ships they had were different for each one, just coming out of the portal I could see the hundreds and thousands of ships lined up behind each other. Novas truly do live up to their name, The only reason they were called Novas was because the only survivor that survived the onslaught from them on their planet said it was like watching a planet enter supernova manually. The ship entered its Battle Phase and around the ship I could hear all the weapons humming into a charge for an attack. Just as the Nirvana left hundreds of Terran marked ships came out of their hyperdrive portals and did the same as Nirvana. Ships were arriving one after another and immediately jumping into attack phase. Nirvana fired a volley at the first line of enemy ships, The shots were deflected by the layering of their shields on them. The elevator ran behind me and I thought Peyton said that it was the last time we would speak. The door opens and heavy footsteps emerges out of it, ¡°Well Kyo what do you think of the fireworks?¡± I couldn¡¯t speak, I never expected to have the Chief Commander to be here. I quickly try to find my words ¡°C-Chief Commander this area is dangerous you might be injured here.¡± He smiled and responded ¡°Don¡¯t worry about that this room has been equipped with the strongest shields and armor available. I am here to simply tell you where and when I want you to fire.¡± A seat came out of the wall and the Chief sat down on it, The Chief Commander himself came up to tell me when to fire. He pulled out a hologram map of the entire battle field, It was amazing to see the Chief commanding over hundreds of our battle ships it¡¯s as if he was an A.I. I could only see the Novas side of the hologram but it was obvious from what I could see it was filled with red markers. I notice near the edge of the map something massive, I thought it was a cluster of the ships packed together but that wouldn¡¯t make sense unless the Novas possessed such technology. It was what it looked like it appeared that a new enemy has appeared, could it be that we knew they had something like this? Is this what Project Dead Space is meant for? These questions were running through my head then the Chief spoke ¡°Kyo it is almost time, your readings say 100%, I''m sure you saw what you should be aiming for. The ship that is in the back is your target, you are probably nervous so calm yourself down you will not fire until it comes closer into range.¡±You might be reading a stolen copy. Missing a target so massive like this would be shooting the sun at a planet 1 UA from you and miss. Calming yourself down is easier said then done, I¡¯ve had to make precise shots before but none of them were so important that the entire human race would be wiped out if I missed! I kept thinking don¡¯t miss! Don¡¯t miss! Don¡¯t miss! Then the Chief stood up ¡°Kyo, you are thinking too much, Instead of thinking what will happen if you miss simply remember your training. You have a target in front of you, it''s massive and many massive things have weaknesses. The weakness on their mother ship is the front that¡¯s why there are many ships in front of it to protect the front. That is actually pretty strange for a ship to be showing its weak side to the enemy but that must be the Nova''s saying we are so inferior that even with their weak side facing us we can''t even hurt them. My hands stopped shaking and I saw what the Chief was trying to tell me, I simply saw a large target marker with the classic red center. My instincts moved me into position, perfectly aligned I was ready to take my shot and I knew it would hit. The Chief let out a relieved sigh and sat back down on his chair and took another look at the map. I continuously adjusted myself as the mother ship came closer and closer, I had intense focus on it I had to hold myself back from firing prematurely. The Chief finally said the magic words ¡°Now!¡± Without hesitation I pulled the trigger and Project Dead Space fired the what looked like a black laser only magnified. The laser ripped through the hundreds of the ships in front of the mothership and even from here I could see the shield resisting its intense roaring push towards it. I could see even some of our battle cruisers out there in the middle of the fight that got caught being ripped apart by the laser as well. I still continued watching and finally it reached the motherships shields, the shields were resisting the laser with extreme force, it was so strong the motherships advancement was stopped. Then we heard something we never heard before, the motherships shields started cracking, like a rock falling on a sensitive glass it started to crack apart. From the other sides of the battle field It was almost as if the mothership was screaming in pain as the glass started to break and weaken. Finally it went through the shields, the shields dissipated into space as the mothership was recieving the laser from its front armor. The armor eroded very fast on the ship, it was as if you were watching a car rust that would normally take years happen in simply seconds before you. The ships white frame color outside quickly changed brown, then we heard a crack of thunder that almost bursted our ears. I felt something wrong at this moment, something was not going right, I tried to tell the Chief but he wasn¡¯t there anymore. He strangely disappeared and I didn''t notice. I looked back at the ship and it wasn¡¯t there, but I could see something black expanding rapidly swallowing the other Nova ships. In a flash I remembered Peyton said this was a black hole that was created, but it was expanding way too fast and towards us at an alarming rate. Nirvana was shaking so much that even if I got myself out of the straps I wouldn¡¯t be able to stand. Something unknown just flashed before my eyes, it was almost as if I just rewatched everything from the beginning and fast-forward to the present, I guess that''s what they call life flashing before your eyes huh. Nirvana''s strap let loose and I was sent flying out of the seat crashing into the wall. Just as I was about to be sent upwards, I saw it, the black hole was coming towards me as if it was in slow motion. The ship was disappearing inside the darkness as the black hole ate it, It reached me and I could feel my body being pulled in. There was but a hint of light remaining just as I was sucked into darkness. I could feel my body being squeezed and pushed at the same time it felt excruciatingly painful but only for a few seconds. The pain started to subside and I just felt myself floating in space, It felt almost peaceful in here then it felt like my mind stopped functioning. This is the end of us I suppose we are the last of the Intergalactic Unions fighting for freedom and we have done everything in our power to save ourselves,looks like it will be night forever. Phase IV - A Rude Awakening Everything feels empty, it''s as if everything happened at once and reverted itself. Why am I alive? No, am I even alive? I feel like I''m floating in empty space drifting along something. I can''t see anything it''s just empty darkness everywhere. I must be dead, where is the light I should be looking for? Something shifted around me, I felt something rushing towards me. I can''t think properly I just can''t understand what''s happening. I got a feeling of something entering me, I didn''t understand it but I suddenly felt physical. Is this some form of energy? Something unknown is flowing into me and I don''t like this feeling I''m getting. Whatever this thing was spreading itself, I finally understood what was happening. Was my body being remade again? I felt like I had control of something on me. The darkness I was in flashed a bright white light in front of me. I believe this is light I was supposed to look for. I tried to move what felt like my arm but nothing would budge. I was simply floating in front of this light, another shift happened. I was being pulled in towards the light, I tried to move something but I was paralyzed. I kept getting closer and closer until everything went black again. ¡°Is he alright?¡± ***STATUS: STABLE*** I heard voices but couldn''t recognize any of them. I still couldn''t move an inch, my body was just not responding to me. Suddenly I felt sleepy and quickly went out. ¡°Sir he has been out for two years, all we can do is simply wait for him to wake up.¡± ¡°Listen to me he took that grenade blast and saved all of our squad me, do something to wake him up!¡± ¡°We can''t everything that could be done was finished unless you can somehow make him wake up with a magic of some sort.¡± I must have passed out earlier, and did I just hear I was out for two years?! I tried again to move but still to no avail. Someone moved towards me, felt something prick me probably a needle. I felt sleepy again, were they making me sleep on purpose?! I blacked out again but I caught the words of someone whispering¡°Keep him under our control if he wakes up we will be in trouble with the higher ups." ¡°Kyo, I don''t know if you are able to hear me but I have to tell you we are still at war. I heard rumors that a new weapon is being developed to fight the Novas but I don''t believe it. You saved my whole squad from their cosmic grenade, we thought you were dead, but we did everything we could to bring you back home with us. We owe you big time for that, when you wake up, we will go to Crescent V, I know you wanted to go there one day.¡± I tried to move but still, I wouldn''t budge, footsteps moved away from me but another came towards me. I felt another prick in my arm and once again sleep consumed me.I don''t know how much time passed but clearly, something must have happened after the blast from Project Dead Space. Why am I alive though, no ship can go through a black hole and survive let alone a person in a suit. I didn''t even bother to move since I already knew what the result would be. I heard doors creaking, I heard the same voice from my last awakening. ¡°It''s been two years and he hasn''t woken up, you said the shot you''re giving him is supposed to help.¡± ¡° it is helping him you just have to be patient it takes time to work.¡± ¡° I''m done waiting I don''t you want to help him you''re trying to stop him from waking up aren''t you!¡± ¡°My what an accusation to make upon me, I have every reason to help him if he comes back this will prove my shots may actually be helping.¡± ¡°Oh really? well I don''t, I demand you give me one of your shots.¡± ¡°What? You want me to give you a shot?!¡± ¡°No! you are going to be taking it!¡± Rumbling and shaking were happening to my left. I heard things falling on the ground and breaking apart. ¡°No! Stop you shouldn''t do this! These shots are still being examined! There could be side effects!¡± ¡°Be quiet you!¡± Then I heard someone scream in pain, everything was silent afterward. ¡°You! What have you done!¡± Then I heard someone fall to the ground, more rumbling was happening. Then I heard shuffling through papers, I was still confused as to what was happening. ¡°No! You fool!¡± Whoever that was must have run into the person who ejected the needle into who may have been the doctor. I heard swinging of something, at this point, I wanted to see what was happening but my eyes would not open. I tried to raise my arm and I actually could lift but something was holding me down. I tried to jerk my body around but I was being held down by something. ¡°Freeze!¡± The shaking stopped, I felt sleepy again but I fought against the slumber of sleep and tried to stay awake. Whoever said freeze move towards the two fighting. I couldn''t make out what was going but someone put a stop to it. ¡°Faust these two are plotting something against Kyo and are attempting to keep him asleep for as long as possible!¡± ¡°Lies! He just injected a dangerous chemical into the Dr. Reginald without any good reason!¡± ¡°Be quiet both of you! Get up and get out of this room now!¡± They got up and walked away from me. Dr. Reginald? I never heard of that name before, I never heard of if Faust either. Just what is happening? I couldn''t fight back the sleep anymore and black out again. I woke up again but this time something about the room I am in is different.¡°Can he wake up? He took two years worth of that shot can he still wake up?!¡± ¡°I am afraid at this point he cannot anymore.¡± ¡°Don''t you have some sort of antitoxin shot for this!?¡± ¡°No, we don''t, that shot was in development and no vaccine was made for it.¡± ¡°You mean to tell me he will never see daylight ever again!?¡± ¡°Most likely, yes.¡±I can''t wake up? Will I never be able to see daylight anymore?! It would be better that I died when I shot Project DS. ¡°Can''t you remove the eye covers?¡± Eye covers? Wait I can''t open my eyes because some stupid cover is on them!? They sat me down on the bed "I don''t know how much control you have on yourself yet but you must try to reach for your eye covers and take them off." I reached up to where my eyes should be but I really couldn''t feel anything, it''s as if my sense of touch is gone. "Oh! I understand the problem" I heard some shuffling behind me and shortly a prick on my neck. My body felt freezing cold, I was shaking so much I was dropped on the bed. "Ah, he is cold now bring him the heating pads." More shuffling was happening my arms were warming up it felt like a gel was on my arm but the shaking was fading. "He sense of feeling must have faded while he was sleeping perhaps the shot should wake up his senses." "It better not makes him sleep again otherwise you will not see tomorrow." nervously " Of course this is a revival shot for situations where senses are lost." My cold chill faded and I could feel the clothes on me, my back felt very breezy but I wasted no time and reached again for the eye covers. I fiddled around what felt like goggles and pushed, pulled and rubbed every corner and crevice of it but nothing happened. I felt a round circle on the top between the eyes and tried to push it and loudly a voice answered: "System unlock request is unscannable, Denied release." ¡°It doesn''t appear he is able to remove them, he wasn''t given permission sadly.¡± A click resonated in the room, the eye covers came off and fell to the ground in front of my feet. I was immediately blinded by how bright the room was and covered my eyes. The two of them sat me down somewhere and a spray was shot on my face. Glad my eyes were covered, ¡°Don''t worry this is just antiseptic it should help ease the pain you''re going to feel.¡± I was confused, what did he mean by feel? A sharp pain struck my arm and leg, I wanted to move back but my body wouldn''t listen. ¡°These are just extra shots to speed up your recovery and adjustments.¡± I slowly moved my hands away from my eyes. They adjusted pretty fast, wasn''t so bright anymore and finally, I could see who was helping me. I couldn''t believe who my eyes actually saw, it was Haichi in a soldier uniform. I didn''t recognize the other person in the lab coat, Haichi was completely different from how I remembered him. I tried to speak but it was difficult to get words out, ¡°Kyo you can¡¯t speak yet, your voice will take time to recover so, for now, you can speak to us with this." The person in the lab coat handed me a holo drive, a letter came out and I immediately starting pressing the keys. The first thing I asked them was what happened, he flinched by the question. ¡°You jumped on a cosmic grenade to save my whole squad, we managed to bring you back but that was two years ago. ¡± I felt my blood stop moving, two years? I really couldn''t believe it I was out for two years? Then I immediately asked him what year it was, he shouldn¡¯t have a soldier vest on unless it was decided he would fight on the front lines now. ¡°The year is now 21XX, you were out for two years but thankfully we managed to restore your body and revive you but because of the blast you were unconscious for so long.¡± I couldn''t believe it, 21XX that''s 1 month before the Nova managed to reach Earth. ¡°Haichi is the war still going?¡± ¡°Yes it is, they are getting closer and closer to us but we should be able to beat them back with our new tactic to fight them off.¡± Was I sent back in time? Did the black hole disrupt time and shot me into the past? My head started aching, this was too much for me to believe and understand. I should have been crushed and destroyed by that black hole but I wasn''t. The headache was too much to bear it knocked the light out of me. Why was I sent to the past? I went out for what felt like two hours, a shock woke me up. I jolted upright the person in the lab coat had a defibrillator on hand apparently. They both were looking at me as if they saw a ghost, ¡°I have a headache, I think I need to rest soon.¡± They both seemed to have relaxed and the brought me to an empty room with only a bed in it. They laid me in it and activated the life support system. They didn''t say anything to me, they simply turned around and left. I laid there in the darkness bewildered by the fact of what just happened. Even before the black hole, I don''t remember being in a concussion for two years nor did anyone tell me. Could it be I forgot since the Nova¡¯s came to Attack us? I shooed my thoughts away and tried to sleep, anymore thinking and my brain is going to fry itself. At least, for now, I don''t have to worry about a crazy doctor trying to make me sleep to death. Phase V - Titan Downfall *** 29 Days Until Nova Arrival *** I woke up to the sound of a door opening. I still remember taking shots, so I got up ready to defend myself. ¡°Whoa there Kyo relax it''s just me.¡± It was Haichi, I saw him holding a tray with food on it. My stomach grumbled loudly, felt like I haven''t eaten food in ages. He laughed and brought the food over to me. After he gave me my breakfast he sat in a chair that was next to the bed. That wasn''t there when I went to sleep, was it brought in earlier? The food was disappearing by the minute and before I realized it everything was gone. I set the tray aside and faced Haichi. He seemed bothered and wanted to tell me something. He took a breath before he spoke ¡° A lot happened since the last two years. I want to tell you the details but Peyton wants to see you soon. So, for now, I will tell you this, the Novas have been advancing towards us steadily. They developed some sort of disintegration ray that bypasses shields and melts away the hull in the ships. We have been sending drones to fight them and slow them down in hopes of buying enough time to figure out a new tactic. I heard rumors from others that a new weapon is being developed but who knows if it will even work.¡± Weapon? Does he mean Project DS? I was going to ask him but something sealed my voice and prevented me from talking. Haichi continued ¡° We have had heavy casualties on our side compared to Novas. I have to thank you for saving my squad from that cosmic grenade. You jumped on it when it landed in our fort saving all of us, you looked like a speeder ran into you. The rest of them thought you were dead but I didn''t, we managed to bring you back along with us in the transport back here. Thankfully they managed to restore your body but after that, it was up to you when you would wake up. Dr. Reginald is under confinement for attempted murder, luckily he failed. But I feel like it''s my fault you were out for so long, they were giving you that shot since last year and it''s because of my negligence that I didn''t realize what was actually happening. It may take some time for you to regain your strength back but it should just be a few days.¡± I didn''t care what else he had to say, I have a month to stop the Novas and prevent what happened with Project DS again. Even though I know this now what could I do to change the future. For now, I''ll think of something but right now I need to stand up.I tried to move my legs off the bed to stand but they felt so numb it was impossible to move them even an inch. Haichi realized what I was trying to do and stopped me from trying to leave the bed. ¡°No, you should rest, like I said your legs will be functional in a few days.¡± I didn''t listen to him I grabbed my legs and push them off the edge. Haichi got up and was still trying to tell me to rest and go back to bed. I ignored him and grabbed what looked like a white pole next to the bed and use it to help me stand. My legs felt like in going through a rain of bullets, I leaned on the pole to keep myself balanced. Haichi was in front of me and seemed a bit surprised I managed to stand, but he showed me a look that says he discovered a secret of some sort. He swiped the pole from me, and I was standing, I was confused I was just having a hard time a second ago what happened. Haichi had a big grin on his face ¡°Well we have one tough trooper standing here, don''t we. I got to give you credit to be able to stand without any rehabilitation is impressive.¡± I could feel the blood rushing throughout my whole body, something about me changed while I wasn''t out. Haichi gave me a hard smack in my back that almost made me fall over. He took out the life support that was attached to my back. I felt a rush of adrenaline going through my head, I felt amazing like I''m at my peak. My senses were clearer, I recognized this feeling. This was a similar feeling I got when I was overcharged. Haichi told me to take a few steps to make sure it wasn''t just adrenaline keeping me up, I listened and walked around the room a bit. Haichi seemed satisfied and proceeded on wanting me to follow him. I followed him outside the room and entered a junction in the hallways. He went to the right and proceeded past many rooms, then he entered a corridor to our left. I managed to keep up with him but, he continued through a series of turns I began to recognize where we were. He was going to make a right, and he did just as I thought, Haichi is taking me to the briefing room that I went into before. We stopped in front the door, surprisingly this time no one was guarding the door, there must always be someone guarding the door something must be off. Haichi entered a code into the padlock and the door opened. A chilling air escaped the room sending a shiver up my spine. We proceeded into the room only this time it wasn''t Peyton I was seeing, it was the Chief Commander and a few others. ¡°Haichi you may now leave us, I need to speak with Kyo personally.¡± Haichi saluted and left us, the others beside the Chief seemed like engineers, theyhad yellow patches on their shoulders. The Chief ordered to me to take a seat, I listened and sat down. Immediately after I sat down straps held me down locking me on the chair. I really don''t get why the hell everything has these surprise straps and restriction on everything we have. There were four engineers that had tools on them, two with a welder walked towards me. The chair transforms itself into a platform, it entombs me inside. At first, I felt extremely hot, parts were flying down strapping themselves on me then I realized what was going on. A suit was being created for me, but seriously? An Exo suit is going to be made out of a chair? might as well just wrap me in tissue paper if this is the type of special treatment I''m getting. I thought I was supposed to see Peyton. I don''t see him anywhere, metal parts were strapping themselves on me pretty tightly. The two people with welder were welding away, fusing each part as it came flying at me. The other two just stood there watching, it didn''t take long for the initial base of the suit to be done. The two in front of me backed off and the two further back stepped forward. I couldn''t even recognize what they were even using, they stabbed me with a metal rod of some sort. Power was coursing through the suit, it started expanding to fit my body shape. They stopped to put on my helmet and a wave of information just fried my brain. *** User Recognized Kyo Kagamine *** The suit connected itself to me, a neural hook wired itself to my spine. The suit felt like my body, finally, the transforming chair lets me go. Once back on my now elephant sized feet the suit depressurized itself and air blew out the back, the four engineers said a few words to the Chief and left us alone. The Chief took a pause before he spoke ¡°It has been decided you will be part of the war early, rehabilitation was the goal for you but you proved yourself it won''t be necessary. Since you managed to stand without rehabilitation, you shall be sent to the hub range to re-learn what you may have forgotten.¡± He ordered a guard to come into the room, the door opened up and a big burly guy with a scar across his face walked in. ¡°This here is Faust, he shall escort you and get you prepared, there you will meet Peyton.¡± I saluted to the Chief and followed Faust. I''ve always wondered why there are so many bathrooms in every hallway but I never bothered asking before. Faust was leading me through another set of winding corridors, he doesn''t seem to be much of a talker. ¡°Hey, Faust why are there so many bathrooms in this facility?¡± Faust continued walking, he really must not be much of a talker. ¡°These ¡°Bathrooms¡± are simply guarding zones for when we get Attacks inside the base. But most newbies use them for fun to do paintball wars against each other.¡± Paintball wars? That sounds like fun how come that wasn''t a thing when I was a private. We made a stop into an elevator, and make our way down. It opened up and let us in a large room with multiple drones and pieces of machinery everywhere. Faust opened the hub on the helmet, a prime rifle transported itself in front of me. ¡°This is target practice, we are not wasting time going through stupid tutorials so simply shoot those targets.¡± At least he trusts that I didn''t forget how to shoot a gun, I walked into a gun section. A scoreboard appeared over the top of the gun wall, as usual, Peyton was on top, still, no one managed to beat his record of 4200 points. I bet Cruz must be pissed that Peyton beat him, I could feel Faust glaring at the back of my head. I faced the targets ahead of me, Faust initiated the target practice. For starters dummies came flying around, I managed to take them down easily but missed one of the dummies. Faust continued and activated the next part of the recoup, this time it live targets that could fire back at me. I had to time my shots and avoid the shots from the drones. I managed to get all of them successfully. Faust seemed a bit satisfied, he made the final adjustment and made more drones come out. The bunk I was in went down, this time I had to fight back and avoid getting shot as if on a battlefield. I entered the battle arena and ran as fast as I could, I switched out my prime rifle and took out my dual pistols, these drones are really fast yet they have such great accuracy at the speeds the hover at. I never liked my prime rifle, I find it better being able to have dual pistols and have more firing options. I took a quick glance at the scoreboard 1550 points, 50 drones, and open field. I took a quick breath and ran toward a cluster of the drones on my right, bullets were flying past me as I charged forward. I aimed my dual pistols at the cluster and rapidly fired. As each shot fired drone after drone the cluster was falling apart, a couple of drones went down and others only received scratches. I side stepped to the left shoulder bashing one of the drones that were about to shoot at me. I dove under the cluster of the drones and spun myself around. I fired into the remaining cluster, most of them went down after this volley. I ran out of their shooting range and quickly reloaded my pistols, one of the drones bullets scratched my leg. I lost my balance but I finished loading fast enough, I rolled across the floor and shot my self up and shot more drones down. I landed on my right shoulder and rolled myself across the floor avoiding the bullet storm. I fired upon the drones in front of me, I pushed myself back up on my feet and kept running. I ran toward a few scattered drones near the wall and fired on them. they all went down incapable of fighting back, I turned around to face the remaining drones. I took a quick glance at the scoreboard, looked like there are 29 more drones remaining. The drones were able to shoot at me but they just stood still in front of me. My pistols were up and ready to take them down but neither of us fired. We paused for what felt like a year then the drones ran into each other, I never saw this before in a training room. The drones melted themselves apart and were, remodeling themselves into one giant machine. I¡¯ve been in this training room multiple times and no way I would miss something like this. The drones fused themselves into one giant mecha, it had a machine gun for a left hand and what probably is a grenade launcher for the right. It had two drones that weren¡¯t attached just floating beside its head. If we could do this with drones why don¡¯t we use them in battle then? I had no time to dwell on that thought, there is a big mecha drone in front of me trying to blow me to pieces. I really hope that if that grenade launcher actually fires at me it won¡¯t actually rip me apart. As many times as I have been here these drones always had a weakness they lacked firepower against you, they can''t actually harm you, instead they deduct you of points or placed movement hijacks on the suit. But with something this large against me i''m sure one hit will do more then deduct me points. I rushed towards it and tried to fire at the two drones above it, the mecha raised its left arm and blocked the shot for them. The grenade launcher aimed towards me, adrenaline went on a full blast and I ran for my life. In short moment I was directly in front of the barrel, the grenade launcher did not fire yet. I ran and slid under it but some force just pulled me and threw me away like crumpled paper. Its machine gun spun and let loose a bullet hell on me. Ever seen fireworks before? Really nice and colorful isn''t it? Would be great if said fireworks weren''t bullets oddly colored and aiming for your head. The wall caught me and reset me back on the floor, I followed the wall down and ran trying to avoid the shots. If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. I would have been dead if those bullets hit me i looked at Faust who appeared as if he was watching a coloseum. I screamed ¡°Faust!? I thought this was a training to test my skills not to kill me!¡± Faust glared at me as if i ruined his fun ¡°If you have time to talk then get yourself together and destroy the Cyclops!¡± Cyclops? Is that what they call this giant hunk of drone parts? But it has more than one eye on its head though. Well no use thinking about it I got up and stepped away from Cyclops. It slowly turned its gigantic body towards me, In the meantime I quickly tried to search for the two drones. Cyclops doesn''t have eyes in the back of its head, the reason it could aim at me perfectly when i was behind it must be because the drones must be relaying what they see to the Cyclops. If I can destroy its eyes then it should limit its capabilities to fight me. Its armor is pretty thick in the front and probably the same at the back of it so its weakness must be the eyes. It faced me and I still could not find the other two drones that were around it, it¡¯ll be impossible to defeat Cyclops without getting rid of its sight. It aimed the grenade launcher at me, I already saw the its power with just the machine gun i really don''t want to find out what kind of a hole a grenade launcher can make. Running towards it won''t work this time I will probably get blasted into scraps. I kept running alongside the wall, the grenade launcher followed my movements. I ran as fast as i could with the wall but the grenade launcher was heating up. I halted myself to a stop and turned around to run in the other direction. Still it wouldn''t fire, but the machine gun moved to my position. A hail of bullets came flying following me close behind. It wouldn''t fire the grenade launcher but it fires the machine gun without thinking. Something isn''t right with that, I did what should have killed me but it didn''t take the chance to. I took a dive and aimed toward the machine gun, Ishot a volley of bullets toward the barrel of its gun. Cyclops stopped firing and moved the barrel out of harm''s way, I took this chance and ran toward the wall again, Cyclops aimed at me again but this time it hesitated, it did not fire for a few seconds then it fired. I must have been near something important for it not to shoot, It must be the drones. It doesn''t want to destroy its own eyes, and they probably can cloak themselves. The drones moved themselves to a different position, they must have been behind me. There! I could see the cloaking silhouette of the drowns, one shot is all I need. A round into the drown sends one sparking and burns down. Now if I can just repeat this process for the other one, but the grenade launcher lighted up and i''m a sitting duck to it. I was near the wall at this point and the flurry of bullets are still behind me, while the grenade launcher was getting ready to fire I blasted the wall. Chunks and pieces fell off creating a dust cloud around me. I managed to cut its vision off of me temporarily now so now is the time to find the other drone. The dust revealed its position right above me and one round and it''s out of commission. Now Cyclops is all that''s left to get, I ran down the wall and escaped the dust cloud and a grenade, it shot the grenade towards my last position at the wall. The explosion was made such strong winds i was blown forward. A huge dust filled the room blocking sight within it, I didn''t even bother to look at the hole it probably made with that shot. The dust cloud started to settle, and now it was a standoff with me against Cyclops before me. Now that it doesn''t have its drones anymore once i get out of its vision i can have a chance to beat this jerk. I made the first move and fired my weapons at the eyes, it used its grenade launcher arm to defend itself and attempted to fire me with its machine gun. I ran around it and charged right at it this time instead of going under i tried to go up. I fired at its knee plates and dented them, i jumped and climbed up its leg to its knees. It pointed the grenade launcher at me, it lighted up, so Cyclops is willing to lose a limb just beat me huh. I jumped off its leg just as it fired on itself, the blast blew me away from Cyclops. I looked to see the results, half of its right leg was obliterated. Now Cyclops can¡¯t move very easily anymore now, I got myself up and ran towards it again. It used the machine gun and fired on me again, I dodged to the right and aimed for its arm that it was using to keep itself up. I managed to get a few shots at its elbow plates, and made half of it hang off. My left pistol was out of ammo, i dropped it and continued towards Cyclops. It''s on it''s last breath now, i ran towards its hand and use it as a springboard to cling onto the hanging elbow plates. I swung around and landed on its forearm, it''s only weapon now was the grenade launcher and at this range it can''t use it otherwise it will destroy both of us. I ran down its forearm toward its head. It tried to smack me off with the grenade launcher but i managed to avoid its swings. I got to the ring around its head and jumped on, i climbed on up and looked down and saw eye protectors. I used whatever ammo was left in my right pistol and fired off its eye protectors. Clicks sounds came out of my gun and i tossed it away, i took the prime gun off my belt and fired on its eyes. The bullets were able to pierce through and got into Cyclops. I emptied the clip and Cyclops remained still like a statue, I stood on Cyclop and faced Faust. ¡°So, Faust how did i do?¡± He looked at a screen in front of him then faced me ¡° Not bad, but you sure took your sweet time trying to beat Cyclops.¡± I got myself down from Cyclops, I left my prime gun and just walked out of the battle room. I took a seat next to the door and laid myself like a mop on the seat. ¡°You took 6 hours to get through this, you passed in all of the categories but time, so next time beat Cyclops faster. Your total points was 4750, a new record congratulations.¡± Faust turned off the battle room and placed something next to me and left the room. I grabbed it, it was a holo-messenger, i turned it on and it was Peyton. ¡°Kyo, by the time you finish your regimen i''m guessing you''re probably hungry and tired. A meal has been placed in your room, and don¡¯t worry about trying to get there we already know you probably forgot where it is so this holo-messenger has a guide to lead you back. We have more to discuss but we can talk about that tomorrow so for now just rest up, Peyton Out.¡± I got myself up and grabbed a drink then left the room, a blue holographic arrow pointed towards my left. Probably the guide Peyton was telling me about, I followed it through what felt like miles of corridors and finally got to my room. It did an eye and fingerprint scan and the door opened and i walked in, i really do not remember having such a nice room. I could smell the aroma of the food on my bed, i ran to the bed and wolf down the food. Who would have guessed trying to beat a gigantic killer Cyclops drone would be so exhausting? I finished the meal pretty quickly and place the tray next to the door, i hopped in the shower and cleaned myself up. I hit the sink and got a look at my face, my face hasn¡¯t changed from the Project¡¯s black hole. I went to the window and took a look at the base outside, it''s always busy there is no such thing as sleep time here you get it whenever you can. I sat on the bed and took a look at myself, nothing really changed when i went through the black hole. I can''t believe that i''m perfectly fine after going through that, something beside me going back in time must have changed. I¡¯ll have to figure this out later for now i¡¯ll just go to sleep and wish for a better tomorrow.
