    I''m posting this so that my fiction gets a little bit of hype so I''m a little more motivated to write it.


    In this post, I''ll answer questions anyone may have and give some basic background information.


    I''ve created a poll and depending on the response, I will start posting some chapters!

    Setting: The World of Qoria is in another dimension apart from ours. It follows a similar time scale to Earth. For Oura, there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week, and 4 weeks in a month. There are always 30 days in a month with 10 months in a year.


    There are 3 continents on Qoria and their names are Crescentia, Sol, and the Frost Realm. Crescentia is the most bountiful continent with the most diverse environments and the most resources.


    In this world, every race can use magic.


    Magic Power Level rankings are broken down into the following:


    Novice->Beginner->Intermediate->Advanced->Saint->Hero->King->Emperor->Demigod->God


    Magic is an integral part of society and as such, most devices are powered by mana and utilized through magic. Everyone learns basic magic and one can go on to study more and become either a Mage or a Mage Knight. Reaching the Magus or Templar designation means you are an advanced user.

    History:


    The Three Great Wars:


    -"War of Unity": All races gathered together to rid the world of the Umbras


    -"War of Domination(Humans)/Exodus of Slaughter(Other Races)": Human population grows and there becomes a need to aggressively expand and push other races out. Humans kill members of the other race and force many out of Crescentia, especially the Demon race.

    -"War of Birthright": Emperor is assassinated, leaving his 9 children who all fight for the throne. Humanity''s civil war begins.


    The current time is 485 years after the War of Birthright. There are currently 9 Major Human Kingdoms that occupy Crescentia. There are also multiple small countries but the majority of humanity has been split into 9 different factions which form 9 states:

    -Kingdom of Flandre


    -The Principality of Kor


    -Kingdom of Raazguard


    -Nox Empire(Birthplace of MC)

    Main Characters:


    1.) Alexander Klaus


    Gender: Male


    Race: Human, Inept


    Skills: Tactical Strategy, Soul Mana Manipulation


    Hair Color: Black, Usually Messy


    Eye Color: Gray(Trait among Inepts)


    Height: 180 cm.


    Face: He has a bishounen(pretty boy) face and his most defining feature is when he smiles he has a dimple on only one side, which makes him look very cute to others.


    Body: Very Skinny as a child and no matter how much he ate he remained very hungry. After training with his mentor and passing age 5, he gains a stronger build with lean muscle. He is still quite skinny with long legs but not to the unhealthy-looking degree that he was before age 5. His body is well proportioned and his face is symmetric.


    Personality: Not going to say to avoid spoilers :^)


    Hobbies: Loves to read


    *Note: Inepts cannot use magic but for some reason absorb information and learn as much as 5x as efficiently as regular humans. For example, Alex begins to speak at age 1.5 and can understand most things by age 2.


    2.) Amelia(Amy) Mayer


    Gender: Female


    Race: Human, Inept


    Skills: Tactical Strategy, Soul Energy


    Hair Color: Long Blondish Pink, Down to Waist


    Eye Color: Aquamarine/Blue


    Height: 168 cm.


    Face: Pale, snow-white skin; Face that will cause any man to turn around and stare for a couple of seconds.


    Body: Perfect Curves; 88 cm. Chest Size; Slender legs and great curves


    Personality: Cheerful and Energetic, Down for a challenge


    Hobbies: Cooking


    Misc.: Loves eating pasta, As a child, she made Alex try new foods she thought of which causes him to have a trauma. Despite Amy becoming a great cook after much practice, Alex still thinks the food tastes horrible as long as it is made by Amy and fears it(Test Subject Trauma lol). Amy dislikes arrogant and pompous nobles. She is picked on in Prep School(Our equivalent of Elementary School). She calls Alexander just "Al." She favors close combat and trains in hopes of becoming an Arc Templar.

 Prologue: History of Qoria

    According to ancient Qorian myths, the Nine High Gods sought to create a world where all beings could live as equals and prosper. The Nine created Qoria, a world of endless beauty and vast amounts of resources. Each god created his or her own race to populate and cultivate the land.


    These races were Humans, Beasthumans, Elves, Dwarves, Demons, Draconians, Orcs, Spirits, and Aviars.


    When the gods saw how well each of the races worked together to improve Qoria, they decided to bestow a gift upon them. The gift was mana and the ability for each race to use it. The gods flooded the Qoria with mana and it saturated throughout all the corners of the world. Throughout the land, the air ballooned with mana concentration. This allowed the various races to study mana regardless of location and create their own systems of magic. All seemed to be perfect in Qoria.


    However, what the gods did not know was that the introduction of mana into the world created a negative force in response. It created a race of shadow energy known as the Umbras, apparitions of pure negative mana that ate away at all living things until they decayed into oblivion. The Umbras spread like a plague and destroyed cities upon cities of innocents. They depleted food supplies, dried up water springs, and absorbed all energy insatiably. Terror spread throughout the land and prompted the nine races to band together to fight the Umbras.


    This event was what all Qorians refer to as the ¡°War of Unity¡± (Began in 845 A.C.) or the first Great War of Qoria. The war caused widespread death and destruction. The Umbras were ruthless and emotionless beings that seemed impossible to exterminate. The final solution to the Umbra problem was extremely crude but no other solution seemed plausible. The Umbras were baited to a large mana concentration and with the power of all the different races combined, a magic was cast such that the continent split into two, separating the Umbras from the rest of the world. The Umbrian continent continued to drift northward until it reached the northernmost pole and froze under a relentless blizzard. The Umbrian continent is now referred to as the Frost Realm. On the other hand, the nine races named their remaining landmass the Light Realm.


    With the war over, each of the races sought to consolidate their power and rebuild their cities.


    The disappearance of half of the continent¡¯s original land mass resulted in a sudden drop in continental resources. Greed for shelter and resources began to fester among the different races. Some races were inherently more adaptable to the rough situation than others. The race that stood out the most in this aspect is the human race. The human population seemed to expand exponentially as a result of claiming lands with the largest amount of resources that remained after the war. With the continual rise in population, the human race decided to continue expanding regardless of the needs of the other races. They took over the lands occupied by the other races and at first the other races gave up their lands easily to appease the human race. However, they eventually began to notice that the humans were not stopping. Eventually, the nonhuman races would run out of land and their already scarce supply of resources. Tensions rose and in the end the human race declared themselves superior to all other races. This led to the second Great War of Qoria, which is commonly referred to as the ¡°War of Domination¡± by humans and ¡°The Exodus¡± by others (Began in 900 A.C.).


    The human population had grown too large and powerful. They subjugated many of the other races and conquered the territories that did not originally belong to them. The other races were running out of options after over 70 years of war and domination by the humans. The nonhuman races decided to band together and invoke the ancient magic used in the first Great War to separate their consolidated lands from human influence as a last resort. The plan was a success and succeeded in fracturing the continent of Light Realm even further, splitting it into Crescentia (Human-ruled territories located in the Western half of the world) and Sol (Nonhuman-ruled territories located in the Eastern half of the world). Unfortunately, there were still many members of the other races that were stuck in the human lands and they were integrated into the Human Kingdom, Valoris, as slaves.

    Valoris was ruled by the Holy Emperor, Emperor Viktor Noctus Raaz-Cor, who had nine different children. He gave each of his children a territory in Valoris and hoped to have them learn to govern wisely. Unsure of who to select as the primary heir, Emperor Viktor decreed that he would wait ten years and see which of the nine territories he granted to his children showed the largest growth.


    Emperor Viktor did not live to judge his nine children. A royal slave murdered the Emperor in his sleep just four years after he appointed his children as regents for his territories (Occurred in 974 A.C.). The nine siblings mourned the loss of their father but after the mourning was over, they took up arms against one another to fight for the throne. Valoris was forever shattered and thus began the third Great War of Qoria, the ¡°War of Birthright¡± (Occurred in 975 A.C.). The nine siblings split their territories apart and fought against one another for supremacy. No sibling could gain an upper hand on another in the next 25 years of fighting. Tired of war, the nine different territories signed a truce in 995 A.C. that created nine distinct countries in Crescentia.


    *Note: The period after the truce signing starts with year 0 of A.T. or after truce and will be the time scale for the novel going forward. The MC is born on 485 A.T. or 1480 A.C.

    ¡°TSH TSH BOOM TSH TSH SHHHHH BOOM¡±


    The rain outside is pouring intensely, intermixing with thunder booming in the distance, but even that noise fails to drown out the ear-piercing screams coming from within the master bedroom of the Klaus Family Home.


    A man paces back and forth in front of the door to the master bedroom while biting his thumb. This man is none other than Jonathan Klaus, the 28 year old head of the Klaus family.


    ¡°Oh Nine Gods. Oh Nine Gods. Why is it taking so long this time? Ellie and Richard didn¡¯t take Hina this long.¡± Is there something wrong? Should I just go in¡­.but last time Hina almost killed me. (Jonathan Klaus).


    It was then that the screaming suddenly stopped and the sound of the rain outside could be heard once again. Thunder boomed softly in the distance as if waiting for the next big event to occur. Jonathan quickly knocked on the door.


    ¡°Is it okay to come in now?¡± (Jonathan)


    Within the room, the bed was a mess and on top of that mess laid Hina Klaus, wife of Jonathan. She felt extremely weak but mustered up the strength to call her husband in.


    ¡°Come in Darling.¡±(Hina)

    With that, Jonathan immediately opens the door and bolts in and goes to Hina¡¯s side. He reaches for both of her hands and cups them tightly in his own.


    ¡°Are you ok? Nothing wrong? I thought I would lose you!¡± (Jonathan)


    ¡°Yes, I¡¯m alright so don¡¯t worry. I just feel really tired. Where is my baby? Mari?¡± (Hina)


    At this point, Jonathan turns around and sees the midwife, Hina¡¯s best friend Mari Mayer. Mari stands in front of the both of them clutching a large wrapped blanket in one arm and a cloth in the other.


    ¡°Really Jonathan, sometimes I wonder if you are the wife in the Klaus family, you drama queen. You¡¯ve been through this twice already and you still get like this. Why can¡¯t you act like my Danny and be a man.¡±(Mari)


    ¡°HEY! I resent that comment. Now let us see the child! Is it a boy or a girl?¡±(Jonathan)


    Mari sighs. ¡°It¡¯s a boy. Given me a second I still need to¡­.¡± Clean all the blood off.(Mari)


    At that very moment, Jonathan rushes up to Mari and looks inside the blanket and upon seeing his bloody child, immediately faints, dropping to the ground like a brick.


    Mari sighs again. ¡°Why does your idiot husband never have any patience?¡±(Mari)


    Hina covers her mouth with her hand and shyly chuckles. ¡°It¡¯s what I find cute about him! You know that Mari.¡±(Hina)


    Mari just shakes her head in amusement and again looks at Hina. ¡°So what are you going to call this cute boy?¡±(Mari)


    Hina takes the baby from Mari.


    ¡°Alexander. Alexander Klaus. My precious baby boy who is going to change the world!¡± (Hina)


    NOTE: This is the last chapter using 3rd person.  From now on the POV will be Alexander or a specific person''s! :)
