Many beings could be seen with smiles stuck on their faces. Their happy faces wasn''t just because of the nearing festival, they were happy about the fact that this is their first time to celebrate the new holiday. Various stalls, decorations, and events had already been set up even though it is still a few days away. The cost of this might be because of the sudden influx of tourist or because of everyone''s excitement. Among the crowded streets, a group of children could be seen running through the thick wall of people. "Hurry up slowpokes!" (Elrick) "B-Brother! Y-You''re too fast!" (Ericka) "A, as expected of a demon¡­" (Zion) "Speak for yourself¡­ Aren''t you from the beast tribe? Man up!" (Kate) "Urgh¡­" (Zion) "Hahaha~" (Clover) "Let''s hurry up!" (Aaron) They shouted as they continued to run, heading towards the odd mountain located at the center of Maltis. As similar to the other kingdoms in Veran, Maltis has a very unique feature. The whole kingdom was built around a gigantic mountain. It was done so as no beast nor monster would ever dare approach it. People say that the whole mountain is home to a God. The group of children arrived near the Tree of life. The Tree was bigger than the church beside it, the trunk was all twisted, the leaves looked darker than coal, while the fruit it bears was pure white and perfectly round. It was more eerie rather than holy and it looked odd no matter how you think of it. Underneath that eerie tree lies a young girl reading a book. The young girl made a charming smile as her silver hair flutters because of the wind. It was quite the scene were anyone looking at her would forget about the eerie tree behind her. """"""Good morning!"""""" (Children) "Well, you guys are up early? Why not participate in some of the festivities? We still have time later" "Everyone is too excited! The celebration is still days away!" (Kate) They can''t help but laugh when they heard Kate''s retort. As they continued to talk amongst themselves, one of the kids asked something out of curiosity. "Why is there so many black colored flags and why does it have the same symbol as the blue ones?" (Elrick) As to why Elrick asked such a question, it was because the flags held such significant meaning with them. Each flag represents either a country or a person and those flags are decorated along the streets. In the cases of the blue flag and black flag, it was to represent the most respected person. But with all the decorations here and there, the black flag were overwhelming in number. The blue flag represents the Goddess whilst the black flag represents another God. The blue flag is widely known throughout Veran meanwhile the black flag is only known by the minority. It was quite the sight for the tourist like the child group to see the blue flags overtaken by the black ones. By some, it might look like an insult towards the Goddess. Looking closer, her face was drained of all its color. The group became somewhat worried because of her actions. She then let out a dry laughter then releasing a sigh. "Uh ¡­ how to say this¡­ He''s a bit¡­ unique? Yes¡­ Let''s call it like that¡­" Saying words that looked suspicious and unconvincing only made them worried. Finally having some thoughts, the young girl continued talking. "How about this¡­ Do you know how the previous war ended?" "Ah! I heard that a gigantic monster appeared out of nowhere and started destroying everything. In order to stop it, the 6 largest kingdoms join forces" (Aaron) The young girl tilts her head from left to right as she goes "hmm~ hmm~" She stops and provides a little more info on what Aaron just said. "What you''ve said is true but that''s just the general summary of it" The young girl casually said that making the group quite shock. It wasn''t like there was some sort of secret event that had happened during the war but the information about it was just wasn''t talked about that much. "There was another reason for the war to end quickly¡­ He, I mean That God was very angry-" "So That God created the giant monster just because he was mad!? Isn''t he an evil God then!?" (Elrick) Elrick interjected as he jumped into conclusions making the young girl unable to finish her sentence. Nerin became even more depressed as the other children became angry as they started making a ruckus of "Remove those stinking black flags!" but was stopped by the guards that patrolled the area. After apologizing to the guards, the young girl continued her explanations. Her face looked more drained of color except for her yellow eyes that seemed to glow, making her look a bit intimidating. "T-That''s¡­ that is also wrong¡­ but" Is what she said, but it looked more like she was trying to convince herself rather than the kids. If she was sentenced to court, everyone listening to her would say that "she''s guilty". "What do you mean?" Everyone was thinking of the same thing. "He¡­ made an example¡­ of what will happened to Veran if we were to continue the war" Though she seemed to have trouble speaking at first, she was able finish her sentence. Various expression could be seen on her face as she continued to talk. She made gentle smile, then a dry laugh, then a sigh. "What kind of example did he give?" (Zion) "He¡­ How to say this¡­ ''Played Around'' with the giant monster until it broke¡­ it was truly pitiful¡­ for the monster that is¡­" The shocked expressions the group had could be seen clearly. They heard stories about the gigantic monster and the destruction it had caused. The group was somewhat thankful that they didn''t destroy the black flags and disrespected the God. Nerin finally understood as to why she was being treated like that. "Huh?" I woke up to an uneasy feeling only to see pure darkness¡­ I moved around to feel if there''s anything familiar in my surroundings but¡­ It doesn''t seem like there''s anything here¡­ Even the floor itself!? A single thought immediately came to mind¡­ I''m falling. I panicked and flailed both my arms and legs in an exaggerated manner in hopes of finding a solid surface to grab onto. I stopped as soon as I realized that my actions were useless¡­ I released a sigh as I''ve started calming down¡­ How did I end up in this situation? The first thing that came to me was "My friends played a prank on me again" but discarded the thought. I would most likely believe that this is a prank when I could touch something. You know¡­ like a floor And also, I don''t think they''ll do something so cruel to me¡­ maybe¡­ With nothing else coming to mind, I began retracing my steps¡­ [Flashback] I did the most hated action as like most of the world, I woke up early. I started preparing for school even though I''m in a drowsy state. It''s not like I like going to school, I just don''t want to get yelled at by the teacher again. As per our agreed house rule, it was my older sister''s turn to prepare breakfast for everyone in the house. I warmed the bath and cleaned myself then left the house. I walked quite the distance towards my school and when I was about to cross the street, my vision suddenly blurred and a ear shattering noise could be heard¡­ I lost consciousness before I could make anything out¡­ [Flashback ends] Eh? I can''t remember anything else after that! My head hurts when I remember it. I was beginning to feel anxious about it so I decided to keep trying but¡­ "Urgh¡­" Ouch! it hurts! it hurts!! The pain! Everything is spinning! I kept trying until the pain was unbearable but failed to remember anything¡­ The pain is similar to that of a head splitting headache but much worse. Welp¡­ It was one of the most unpleasant thing I ever experienced in my life¡­ What did really happened? Wait¡­ what do I actually do now? A random thought suddenly came to me "Being here for all eternity" scary¡­ No, no, no, no¡­ Let''s calm down and stay positive! And as if on cue, something extraordinary happened¡­ A semi transparent blue screen appeared in front of me.

I''m gonna have fun with this~ I proceeded to create my artifact with the help of a new cheat skill, Creation & Customization! ¡ñ¡ñ¡ñ¡ñ¡ñ I spent hours on tinkering away on my artifact~ As usual, creation is somewhat similar to a game that I''ve played. Creating something is quite simple~ I would only need to think about what exactly I want to create, as if shaping clay. I could also save them as presets, thought there are already some of them saved. I could instantly create anything that are saved as presets¡­ I need to investigate further~ After that, I could customize it by adding some kind of special effects to it. Abilities, restrictions, augments, and plenty more! There were also some part that I could leave as "Generate automatically" such as descriptions. I continued tinkering away~ It was really fun! Finally feeling satisfied, I chose to finalize my work but¡­ It seems that I needed 400 stat points¡­ As I didn''t want all my work to be in vain, I accepted it while feeling somewhat hesitant. Let''s just hope that it won''t take a lot of stat points¡­ With that as a wish, I raised Dominion and activated it. My view suddenly changes to a bird¡¯s eye view of the mountain. I could even see various game like options and controls. "I see~ I see~ so it''s like this?" (Nero) I move my hand while thinking of removing the top of the mountain. Everything that my hand passed through disappeared and a window pops up saying "You have gained 12,481 resources". You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. "Oh~ I understand the fundamentals here~ It''s similar to a game that I''ve played, as usual" (Nero) Replacing the ground with a different material will consume a small amount of resources while creating nothing from something will take a large amount of resources. Since it''s a bit different, I decided to familiarize myself on how it works~ When I finally familiarized myself with it, I started working~ I took the entire upper half of the mountain and stopped near the fog, in which I''ve received a lot of resources. I flattened the ground next and changed them into stone, dirt, grass, etc. After that, I began constructing my Temple. I started out with the foundations, then the walls, then the furniture, etc. I continued on constructing and reconstructing everything. I was quite meticulous on details¡­ I also created some low grade artifacts such as a fountain that provides unlimited drinkable water, a lightning rod that produces electricity, a tree that rapidly produces multiple fruits, gems that lights up when feed electricity and many more. All of it was done with the help of of Creation and Customization. Maybe it was because of Dominion that the cost for the skills changed from point/mana to resources. I would sometimes belittle myself to avoid being arrogant and over confident. There¡¯s a few changes now¡­ Her race changed to human from ???, she¡¯s now a homunculus instead of the soulless doll, parameters changed differently depending on her growth, and she gained a new special ability called Charm Aura Wait¡­ is it this skill the cause of the weird feeling? guess not. I still have a weird feeling towards this girl¡­ I don¡¯t know why. She does look and feel familiar, did I met her somewhere? Maybe I¡¯ll get some answers after the effects of Self-Sacrifice is gone. I looked outside the window and stopped an abnormal looking tree. I began recalling some of my old memories that I had back on earth¡­ Except for one particular memory. === 3 days ago === I was standing in the yard inside of my Dominion. Me: ¡°Let¡¯s see now~ I think 515 points are enough for this!¡± I hold up my right hand in front of me while I activate Creation. My actions right now is for me to see if I can create life using Creation. A bunch of screens appeared on my left and a humanoid shaped body appeared in front of me. Me: ¡°I-It¡¯s working!¡± I''m feeling excited. I wonder if I can do it, will I fail or succeed. Looking at the humanoid in front of me, I began thinking on what I should do and how. I have many distinctive characters but there are 3 main characters that I would often use. -Neroborj The appearance often resembles a young boy with black hair and red eye. Another one of my secondary characters, she''s kinda like Feru but more on physical oriented classes/jobs I pick Feru as a template as I would like to have a companion that can use magic! I can just create Aki if all of this goes well, but I don''t want to create another me(Nero) though... Now I''m really feeling excited now~ I mean, the characters you created in games will be able to come to life! I turned to the screens on my left and began customizing the humanoid shaped body. It felt and looks like another character creation. I made her with her general looks in game from different versions of her. 17 years old, long black hair, blue eyes, black dress with a white belt, blue open jacket. There was a problem of "How to make her alive and not make her a puppet" I counteracted this problem by using the augments; Sentient and Growth. Though I don''t know if this''ll work but I¡¯m hoping for the best. After several hours of creating, I pressed the finalize button and wish for success... but Me: ¡°¡­What the?¡± I kept pressing on the finalize button on the screen but nothing happens. Did I fail or did I do something wrong? I started feeling down as I was unable to create life... But let''s not lose hope here! Yup¡­ If I were to compare my stats with the girl(Lina) from before¡­ I could only say that I¡¯m cheating. As they continued to laugh and talk while they approach the girl, the atmosphere changed as a gust of dark mist enters the room. The 10 figures grab their weapons and prepare themselves as to what might happen. They believe themselves as strong as their average level was 50+. The girl on the other hand, was sitting on the corner of the room due to her legs collapsing because of an unknown atmosphere. Shifting their gazes to the entrance, they saw two glowing pairs of red eyes looking at them. All 10 of them went pale as they instinctively felt fear from looking at those eyes. The 10 figures felt irrational fear as they began tearing up but no sounds came out of their mouth. In comparison to the 10 figures, the girl sat there watching at the scene. She saw a figure of a man wearing black clothing and an animal skull on top of its head slowly walking towards the group. Looking at the animal skull, two red glowing eyes could be seen from the eye sockets as it looks towards her. Oddly enough, she did not feel any kind of fear towards the mysterious figure. She even felt safety from its presence. The mysterious figure quickly moves and slices the air in front of it. Small cuts could be seen appearing from the body of the 10 figures as they begin convulsing from the pain they felt. This lasted until all 10 of them died from the pain¡­ which was about 30 seconds. The corpses of the 10 figures disappeared along with the mysterious man in black leaving the girl all to herself in the corner of the room. . . . . . . The Terror filled atmosphere continued throughout the night ending at dawn. All of the invaders that attack the citizens disappeared without a trace. The crowd seems to be angry and confused at the same time, some soldiers could be seen among them. It doesn¡¯t seem that they will kill each other¡­ but I have a feeling that I should not go towards that crowd. But still, it makes me wonder as to when the soldiers appeared or arrived. Let¡¯s leave that question alone for now. Haha~ and here I thought that I can finally relax while looking around, sightseeing and what not¡­ Me: ¡°I don¡¯t think standing here would do us any good. Lina ordered the staff to leave us for a bit. They even lent me some books here, even though it¡¯s in a different language I was able to understand them. Struct began explaining some stuff to Feru about the Kingdom of Maltis, or more specifically, the incident about the invaders. Even Lina who experienced the incident was listening attentively on the topic. I was partially listening to Struct¡¯s explanation while reading a book about religions¡­ because every time I interrupted him with a question. He just stare daggers at me, and my question was either ignored, left unanswered or Lina supplementing the answer. Either way¡­ I finally got some general information: [Struct] The system that Maltis runs in is Aristocracy, I think, in which the Kingdom is controlled by a small group of qualified people, the group is called The Council of Maltis, and Struct is one of those people who¡¯re qualified. The people who¡¯re qualified came from different Kingdoms, which is based on their races. Human, Elf, Beast men, Nymph, Demon and Celestials¡­ And about the recent incident that took place¡­ It seems that a shady religion has started something big, as it involved the whole central continent¡­ and it might even involve the whole world. It¡¯s still under investigation as the representatives of the royal family, from different Kingdoms, are announced to arrive in Maltis to give support, while the Council will have a meeting tomorrow to discuss what to do¡­ [Book] I learned only a little bit of about religion from the book¡­ They worshipped object pertained to have unbelievable power¡­ They worshipped Beings and Creatures that have obtained divinity¡­ They worshipped something about the [Goddess of Life and Death] and [God of calamity]¡­ it was barely described here¡­ I thought that I was the first [God] here in Veran¡­ was there a mistake or some kind? Hmm¡­ a shady religion starting something¡­ if it¡¯s a religion then they must have a belief and worship a being right? Looking at the book I can¡¯t help but worry about something¡­ Just in case¡­ Let¡¯s just ask them¡­ Me: ¡°This shady religion¡­ do they worship something in particular¡­?¡± Everyone looks at me when I said this and Struct¡­ He looks at me and then looks at the book, he seems to understand my intentions and answered my question without giving me that suspicious look anymore. Struct: ¡°Hmm¡­ I went around town earlier, there are some people say that invaders were saying something about receiving [God]¡¯s favor and to have their wish granted¡± I don¡¯t think I saw this [God] in the book¡­ a new one maybe? Let¡¯s ask. Me: ¡°Do you know anything about that [God]?¡± Struct: ¡°Hmm¡­ I think it¡¯s one of the prophecies given to us by the divine beings¡­¡± Me: ¡°Prophecies? With a bit of searching (flipping the pages), he finally found what he was looking for¡­ Struct: ¡°It says that a divine creature that has the ability to see into the future wrote down a prophecy pertaining about two [Gods]¡­ The first prophecy is about the [God of Calamity], A boy with unspeakable darkness shall descend upon the world and bear its judgment towards those who have done wrong¡­ but do not be afraid of him, as those who gained his favor shall receive the thing they desired the most¡­ The second prophecy is about the [Goddess of life and death], A girl with black hair, blue eyes, divine charms and a set of jet black wings shall appear after the calamity she is said to be wielding a scythe that shall be the salvation of all¡­ she bears the goodwill of all¡­ she is to be respected as she¡­ fate itself¡­ Both of the prophecies were very old and are missing a few lines on them. There are even some strange texts unto it which was still not decrypted. The originals were carved on a black obelisk¡­ but it was destroyed centuries ago and these are the remaining record of the two prophecies¡± Me: ¡°So there are many religions based on that?¡± Struct: ¡°There were quite many religions based on the second prophecy as it was the most accepted¡­ the first prophecy was shunned and was never properly accepted, except for some¡­¡± Me: ¡°Is that so? I¡¯m quite perplexed by this, but I didn¡¯t show it. As far as I know, Virgo is supposed to be a staff and not a scythe with ¡®???¡¯ I¡¯ll pursue this matter later as I need to focus on this first. Looking at the two in front of us¡­ Lina has an expression of awe as she was mesmerize by Feru¡¯s beauty. While her father has a pale expression as she looked at Feru¡­ I¡¯m having a bit of trouble maintaining my poker face¡­ I was almost captivated by Feru. So Struct kept being suspicious of me until he was able to discern my true nature(Alignment) while Lina was worried that Struct might do something rash again. He also thought that I might also know something about the recent incident which arouses his suspicion even more, but he was only able to discern my nature as kind(good) when I gave Feru a hug¡­ He never really thought that Feru and I were the [Gods] in the prophecies¡­ it was just me over thinking and misunderstanding. Anyway~ as we continue our discussion, I was able to convince Struct to become our ally¡­ he was happy to serve the [Goddess] he said. After that embarrassing bout, I excused myself and borrowed the kitchen to distract myself a bit¡­ Lina gave Feru a tour around the house while Struct said he still has some business to take care of¡­ . . . . . . . Somehow, I able unlock the profession called ¡°Chef¡±. It seems that skill points can be used to increase its level. As a person who likes to cook, I went ahead and distributed 9 points unto it, leaving me with 21 skill points. I was able to make various kinds of food. I used magic to make cooking a bit easier and used Creation for some ingredients. I refrained from using creation too much though; I might need the status points later on. [Total status point cost: 3] Me: ¡°Hmmm¡­ I think I made too many¡± There are many too many sweet stuff here¡­ I grab some of them and placed them all on my inventory, but there are still many left- hmm? I see some people peeking through the door. I saw some trees outside and hoped that there will be at least fruits there. And to my luck, there are! It was fruits that I saw back on earth! So there was no doubt that these fruits are safe to eat. I was also a bit curious so I ate one, it was really tasty! Next was water. I went to the fountain nearby to have a look. The water looks clean. So I drink some of it. It was high quality! Having everything I need and my hands full, I decided to go back to Nero. It was a bit hard, but I was able to do it! My time with the Golems did not fail me! When I arrived back in the room, what I saw was quite the spectacle. There was multiple spells floating in the room¡­ it was quite surreal. Some of them are basic spells, such as ''Fireball'', but there were also mid tier and high tier. I think I even saw a transparent chair, sword, and a frying pan floating around with a bluish color! I think it was because I only accepted odd jobs and I never really accepted subjugation quests¡­ There are some friendly adventurers that invited me for a subjugation quest, but I turned them down. There was a reason for that though. I would like to avoid killing. I don''t really know¡­ I would just like to avoid it if possible. It''s not like I''m afraid or anything, I could still kill some monsters but¡­ Similarly to this, I''ve also avoid using [Libra]. But I still use the Zodiac though? Especially [Cancer], which is a knife and [Pisces], which is a headphone. Well~ I only used [Cancer] for cooking purposes and [Pisces] for listening music, it doesn''t really need anything to play music~ But [Libra]¡­ I feel something whenever I use it¡­ it is quite complex¡­ I think. That feeling is also present with the recurring nightmare every time I sleep. I can''t remember anything from the nightmare, except I know two things! 1.) There is a girl in my nightmares. I remember her vaguely though. 2.) I feel multiple things whenever I had that nightmare which is kinda vague too, except for one thing: Fear. Though, normally, the dream would end for some time, and I would just feel strangely calm all of a sudden. As if everything is alright in the world¡­ Nothing will harm me¡­ and I feel at peace. It was the same feeling whenever I hug Feru¡­ Speaking of which, Feru seems a bit too clingy towards me~ Generally, she would act like "A girl in love" like in those anime clich¨¦s whenever we are alone. Which led me to believe that Feru might like me¡­ well¡­ uh¡­? Let''s not get ahead of ourselves¡­ especially in this case. But still¡­ It''s kind of hard to believe at our current situation. It was too long, so I barely able to listen to the whole thing. Curse my short attention span¡­ To summarize everything that happened; Tyler, Lily and Leah were suddenly summoned/called by a god of some sort, while they were on their way to the hospital to visit me. God talked vaguely about some stuff and sent them to different worlds without giving them any useful information, except for the fact that they can return to earth when they complete their respective duties. When Tyler regained his consciousness, he was summoned to be a hero for the Human country, [Pasliuque]. Lily and Leah were no long with him¡­ He made "Going back home" as his goal, he worked hard to become stronger. Tyler was very worried towards the two of them, since they already lost one friend(me). But he was more worried about Lily though, "As his brother, it was natural to be worried about his little sister" he said. Tyler is a doting brother toward his little sister¡­ And it seems that both of us arrived at the same time. I wonder how''s that possible. Is the time at Earth and Veran different? I suck at math, so I didn''t calculate it. Anyway, I''m happy for Tyler that he could go home. I also wish to go back but I don''t know how, maybe there''s magic for world traveling. Even though she knows that her revival was purely an accident, she was still thankful for it. She gave it her all in order for that important person to be happy. But it caused more problems for him. You see. In her former life, she was cursed by a certain God. The curse stayed with her even after she died. When she revived, the curse came along with her. That curse was somehow passed onto Nero. It was a very special curse. A curse that bestows the power of Calamity. The skill Cold-Hearted was the manifestation of that power. And Feru understood it completely. It was all her fault. Her guilt was slowly eating her heart. It was because of her that the person important to her will suffer. Nero ordered her to stop him if something were to go wrong. And Because of that, the complex feelings inside her heart became heavy. She was so confused at what to do that she became afraid. She was afraid of him disappearing, she couldn''t even bare the thought of it. That''s why she never told him anything about herself nor about the curse. It was her decision keep it a secret and that decision is haunting her. She wanted to stop Nero from using the skill. But it was already too late. Nero became lifeless and started started walking towards Feru. He was empty handed, so it was quite easy for him to be restrained. But¡­ She was hesitant. She was too afraid. She was too confused. Feru could only watch as the zombie like figure approach her. Her emotions are starting to break down. She didn''t know what to do anymore. And when he finally reached her, Nero swings his hands as to attack her. The swing full of strength and it was impossible to dodge. Feru reflexively blocked the attack with her scythe. But the force ended up breaking his hand. Nero kept attacking while Feru kept blocking. She was confused at what to do. She can''t just leave Nero in that state and if she distanced herself too much, Nero might ran away. They continue with the war of attrition until his body is in an awful state. What do I do? How to do it? What do I want? How to obtain it? When will it end? How will it end? Her head was filled with all these questions. Finally her fragile heart finally gave in as she walks towards Nero. She couldn''t bare seeing him in this state. For her, it was better for her to die just to save him. While crying, she embraces him with all of all of her might. The lifeless Nero continued to struggle in her embrace. Maybe it was because of the injuries Nero has on his body, he was unable to escape nor injure her. The two of them stayed like that until Nero collapses and stops. She finally felt relieve. But that relief only lasted for a measly second. The healing spell she cast was completely ineffective on him. She could only place him on her laps to rest, giving him a lap pillow. Waiting for him to wake up, Feru continued crying. The moment Nero opened his eyes, Feru screamed his name repeatedly without stop. A voice full of worry, regret, guilt, confusion, fear, and despair. His hands groggily moves towards her face and wipes her tears. With his blood leaving a mark on her face, she wanted to cry even more but held it in. On his face, an expression of consoling her. Feru carried him all the way to his assigned room and place him gently on the bed. Feru would usually sneak inside his room in the middle of the night in order to console him from his nightmare. This action started the moment they stayed over the Sylvitus Household. She was doing it secretly while he was asleep. But this time, their roles are completely reversed. She''s going to use Nero as a way to console herself. That night, Nero was sleeping soundly while Feru was embracing him as she quietly cry out her emotions. She knew that it was wrong for her to do it but she was unable stop herself. Morning finally came. Feru was nervously walking back and forth outside of Nero''s assigned bedroom. And seeing that I might have some problems along the way¡­ Under the pretext of "Destroying Ancient Evil", they were willing to give me any necessary support when I ask for help. I also asked for the Hero''s (Tyler) cooperation. Seeing that everyone easily accepted, I thought that I was on the bad side of the deal. But it was fine though~ It was very beneficial for me~ And it''s not like I lied to them about helping¡­ I''m just going to do it while enjoying myself~ I already know where and I have some power. My goals are also aligned with everything; Sightseeing and helping my friend return to our original world. The meeting ended without any troubles. It seems like everyone was satisfied with the outcome. ¡ñ¡ñ¡ñ¡ñ¡ñ The cold feeling finally disappeared! But I felt the severe effects of the Cursed Equipment!! I quickly borrowed a spare room and changed my clothes to the Assassin Equipment. Since Feru was still asleep, I had to carry her as I go. Fortunately, I was able to meet up with Tyler again. If his hands weren''t occupied with carrying Feru, he''d be face palming so hard right now. But still, without a shred of doubt, he accepted my plan. Although he''s hiding his emotions, I don''t need to use that (weird) ability to know that he''s happy. That happiness wasn''t because of the two hills pressing from behind his back, he was happy because he has a chance to go home. Because of her etiquette, I almost mistook her as some kind of princess from a far away land¡­ Even though I just met a few of them earlier, her level is somewhere beyond them. She also looks happy for some reason. "Everything was all your fault though?" (Nero) "Don''t worry~ I took everything back remember~?" (???) She shrugs and said it as if everything was fixed! But before I could complain, I started to wonder what she took back. When I asked, she said she took "part of my insanity" and "Feru''s insanity and memories". I started pressing for a better explanation! "Remember your past actions? You weren''t the only one influenced by my unique ability~" (???) It wasn''t a better explanation! This girl is not plan on explaining anything to me! I was left with no choice but to think for myself! If I remember correctly, it felt like I was becoming more emotional and acted¡­ Ugh¡­ This is giving me a headache¡­ But I understand¡­ Somewhat¡­ "I know that you and Feru are connected in some way¡­ Can you tell me why?" (Nero) "I see~ Since we''ve got a lot of time in our hands~ I''ll tell you my story~" (???) Her story consist of her life in the previous world. The previous world she resided on was the same as this one (Veran), although the intellectual races there was limited to three; Humans, Demons, and Angels. (She omitted the races description) She says that she, herself, was in fact a demon and that she was born with a special ability to merge her soul to another one upon death and absorb it. Because of her actions of moving from body to body upon and gaining the abilities of the souls she absorbed, it wasn''t long before she became a Lesser God. (She didn''t care to explain any further) But in the end, she grew bored of the world. To stop her boredom from growing, she caused great destruction and chaos upon the world until she became known as the God of Calamity. (Again, she didn''t explain anything) Years later, an Angel descended from the heavens. That Angel assisted the humans in hopes of removing the plague (God of Calamity) from the world. Because that Angel was a special existence, she was defeated. But soon after death, her special ability activated and her soul merges with the Angel''s. (Yup, still no useful explanation) She wasn''t aware that the Angel had knowledge about her ability. The Angel used that chance to let herself be killed in order for her to disappear. It resulted in both of them being sent to the void. (¡­She''s messing with me) For how long? They didn''t know, but a light appears from out of nowhere and offers them freedom if they passed the trial. After passing the trial, their soul was placed inside Feruniru. (¡­Then why''re you in my body!?) Since the person here doesn''t seems like she wants to explain anything properly. I gave up~ "Really~ The name you''ve given her fits quite well~ Fenrir, The one that devours Gods~" (???) No, what''re you talking about? While it''s true that the name Feruniru comes from the sounds of Fe'' nr'' i'' r''. Though I only used it when the name Fenrir was already taken in online games. But Feruniru became more favorable due to constant use. There''s no real meaning behind it. But¡­ She then looks at me seriously¡­ I finally remember the fact that this girl can read my mind¡­ "I''m going to give you a warning since you''re also a God" (???) So seeing her going so seriously¡­ I was caught off guard by the sudden change and felt a bit scared. But¡­ She only made a dirty joke about Feru eating me up¡­ Just like that, the serious atmosphere was shattered like glass¡­ The next morning¡­ I woke up to a crushing feeling¡­ Feru is right beside me and was treating me as a pillow¡­ Maybe what she said was true¡­ I know its late but I got a message for you~ Since I was busy during the holidays, this is a bit late~ Ahem- I mean really late!
