I tried to remember but nothing came up. I tried to move but I can¡¯t move. What can I do? I wait. I wait and continue to wait. One day I noticed, there¡¯s a floating ball of light all around me. Since when did I manage to see? I don¡¯t know, I don¡¯t care and I do nothing about it. I still can¡¯t move so I wait. I wait and continue to wait. One day I managed to move around but not so much before I exhausted myself. So I wait. I wait and continue to wait. One day I felt hungry. I want to eat. I felt thirsty. I want to drink. But what can I do? I can¡¯t even move, so I wait. I wait and continue to wait. One day I discovered that I can move, finally. I approach one of the ball of light that hover continuously around me. I touch them and they disappear. I felt warm for some reason and I don¡¯t feel hunger or thirst anymore. But after that I can¡¯t move again, so I wait. I wait and continue to wait. One day I noticed that I can move again. I want to feel that sensation again. Not feeling hunger or thirst. Waiting can bring back hunger and thirst it seemed. So I move again, looking for another ball of light. For some reason, whenever I approached the ball of light they disperse and get away from me. I¡¯m not giving up, that sensation, I must feel it again. I tried to move faster and finally caught one of them. I touch it and I feel it again, the sensation of not hungry or thirsty. One day, I discovered something that I have never seen before, a big ball of light. I don¡¯t know why, but I had the urge to approach it so I did. For some reason, it didn¡¯t scatter like the smaller one before. I think that it intentionally waited for me. I tried to touch it but I felt suction force. Something I never felt before. Naturally I resist and the suction force becoming fiercer and fiercer until I felt helpless. But for some reason, I continued to persist and fight. It lasted a long time but I finally managed to beat it and absorbed it. Then I felt something I never felt before. It hurts. I felt as if my whole self would cease to exist. But I persist and I prevail. The pain is gone and I felt stronger. Now I know what I am. I am a Soul Devourer. I eat souls to become strong. What I battled before was another Soul Devourer. Apparently, I still yet to mature so I don¡¯t know what I am, until I eat another Soul Devourer. For some reason, when Soul Devourer ate another one of its kin, they get stronger and mature faster than when eating just regular souls. After that battle, I exhausted myself and rest. And so I continued to wait. A soul battle I wait and continue to wait. One day, I discovered that I can see better now. It is still dark, but there are many ball of light that float around in the darkness. No, not ball of light but souls. Thinking about it made me go hungry. So I decided to move and eat some more souls. Once I think that I¡¯m sated, I stopped and wait. So I wait again. I wait and continue to wait. One day, when I move around eating souls, I discovered something amazing. A huge soul, just like last time but bigger. I want to eat it but I had to wait. I¡¯m not big enough to take it on. I never want to feel helpless like before ever again. I just went pass it and eat more of the smaller soul. And so, I wait again. I wait and continue to wait. One day, I noticed that several big souls are coming my way. I wonder what they want with me, I wondered. When they are close to me, I don¡¯t know why, they began attacking me. It appears that they want to eat me. Of course I fight back. A battle between Soul Devourer is determined by whose size is bigger and whose willpower is stronger. My size is bigger than any of them and of course my willpower is also stronger. But they have strength in numbers. It was tough, but in the end I still won. It turns out I¡¯m originally a creature called human. They lived with their kin in harmony and love. But for some reason, I don¡¯t feel a slight amount of attachment to my past life. I do miss having a body and being able to see colors other than black and white. But what can I do? All I can do for now is to live and eat souls. I have this odd feeling if I manage to reach certain point in size and strength, I¡¯ll be able to live again as a human. So for now, I wait. I wait and continue to wait. One day, I realized that my soul is getting bigger again. I think I¡¯m ready now to take on that huge soul back then. I traced my way back to it. On the way, I managed to eat several lesser soul to sate my hunger. Once I see that huge soul, I rush to it like a wild animal who found its prey. The battle between me and it, last longer than I thought. I want to eat it and it also want to eat me. After it seemed to be a millennium, I managed to eat it, but not without consequences. I cannot move. It¡¯s been awhile since I cannot move after eating another soul. So I wait, like I always do. The start of a rampage I wait and continue to wait. This time, after I ate that big soul, I felt that my whole self is changing. I know now what my name is. Logan, just Logan. But that¡¯s all I remember. I feel that if I continue to dive deeper into my memories, my whole self could be erased. I can only wait until my strength is sufficient enough and then my memories will come back on its own. But for now, I can do nothing so I wait. I wait and continue to wait. One day, I discovered something new. Now, I am able to see far and wide into the dark space. It seemed that I had evolved. I am more aware of myself now, I also can move a lot faster and it seemed if I wanted to eat, those lesser souls will willingly become my food unlike last time where they all ran away. After I ate enough soul, I went to go explore the dark space. As I move around the dark space, I found something different. A gate, a huge freakin'' gate. I tried to approach it but was stopped by another huge soul. The huge soul stared at me as if it had eyes. It gaze petrified me. I tried to get away but I couldn¡¯t. Is this where my end? ¡°Don¡¯t fear young one¡± It spoke? It actually spoke? Now I¡¯m terrified. But I wonder what lies behind that gate. For some reason, I had this urge to pass that gate. Something tells me that if I managed to pass that gate, all my desire will be fulfilled. ¡°You want to pass this gate young man? This gate led to the world of the living. I¡¯m the guardian here. When I first started my rampage, I felt tired because I had to eat many souls at one. Not to mention the big one, other souls devourer. But I don¡¯t care. When my soul body refused to move, I forced it to move. When I am sated, I forced myself to eat, all because I want to pass through the gate. There¡¯s not many souls left here. The one that survived my rampage are mostly the other Soul Devourer. While I want to move and eat them, my soul body wouldn¡¯t let me anymore. It seems I had to rest, so I rest and wait again. I wait and continue to wait. One day, I discovered something changed inside of me. There¡¯s memories, memories not of myself but the memories of the souls that I ate. Adult, children, animal, beast, magical beast, criminal, saints, all of their memories are now residing within me. Strangely enough, I don¡¯t lose myself. I¡¯m still me, Logan, who was once human. From what I know from all these memories, is that if someone has too many stuff on their memories, they all went insane. Not me, no. Is it because I¡¯m a soul? Whatever¡­ I want to go straight to the gate but there¡¯s still few souls left to devour. Let the hunt begin! Haaah¡­ Finally, there are no more souls left. Just like last time, whenever I ate large amount of souls, I can¡¯t move. Maybe my soul body is tired. I just have to wait until I can move again to challenge that old soul. But for now, I wait. I wait and continue to wait. Finally, I can move again. Now is the time to go to the gate and eat the old soul. For some reason I felt excited to pass the gate and to eat the old soul. ¡°You¡¯re back again young one¡± said the old soul Yeah you¡¯re right, I¡¯m back and I¡¯m here to claim you¡¯re soul. ¡°Well then, shall we proceed?¡± Proceed? Proceed what? ¡°You eating me of course. What else?¡± said the old soul Just like that? I went through a rampage and you letting me eat you just like that? ¡°Well you see, I may be powerful, but my task is to guard this gate against souls who want to pass here. "Oh my god.... Daddy, mommy saved meeeeeeeee" shouted Sylphester in fear Chapter 4, Sylphester in Danger *HISSSSSSS... ROAAAAR* The 3 meter''s tall python is mad. He''s mad because there is a human playing around at his territories without his consent "Bad snake, bad snake" Sylphester swim away hurriedly to the shore and run inside the forest *HISSSS* the python, while still being mad, chase Sylphester inside the forest "Dammit, for all the bad luck in this world, how come I have the worst of them all!?" Sylphester cursed. Sylphester run and run and run. He tried to hide behind a tree but was soon discovered by the python. Sylphester tried all sort of thing but the python still found him. Unknowingly, Sylphester had been running from the python for half a day. Sylphester, being chased by the python, eventually become exhausted. Since he was still a child, he doesn''t had much stamina. If I knew it was going to be like this, I would''ve listened to Dad about training" regretted Sylphester while he was being tossed around by the python. While the python roared in pain, it unconsciously throws Sylphester somewhere. When it came to be, it looked for Sylphester without much success. Seeing it could not find Sylphester, the python returned to his territories. What about Sylphester you asked? Well, he get thrown somewhere. Miraculously, he survived but he is unconscious.
