《Ways of Dao》
Chapter 1 I name you Christin
Somewhere on a simple potato field was a single rusty ring almost half buried into the ground. It was a very basic ring, only an unadorned circular formed shape made of some steel alloy. Something you could acquire for small money in every shop.
Mud had long since taken all shine from the once shine metal and time had taken it''s toll on the material. I was unknown for how long the ring had laid here, but it should have been some centuries.
Even though it had been there for a long time, there was nothing truly special about this ring. Almost every field in the area would have a similar item somewhere on it''s survace, lost by some traveller or farmer at some point of time. They all would just eventually be forgotten and stay at the field until they finally become dust and fly of with the wind.
Almost all of them where like this. Except this one. It had one certain thing inside of it that changed the whole thing and turned this ordinary looking ring into a unique treasure, a rarity under the heavens.

It had a soul residing inside of it¡¡
"How the hell is this possible? After I was killed by this hateful old fellows my soul was sucked into a space rift along with the rest of my remains. I though I would be reincarnated or something along this lines. Turn into the son of some powerful immortal and quickly become a deity and get back to the Heaven Beginning Realm.
Everything was so perfect and easy. I just had to follow the usual pattern and quickly progress along my path of cultivation.¡.
SO WHY THE HELL AM I IN A FUCKING RING RIGHT NOW?"
Inside of this particular ring there was a soul living inside of it. A soul calling itself Zes Bloed, a cultivator from another world.
The reality as it was, consisted out of an almost unending number of realms, worlds that existed completely separated from each other. Each had it''s own physics, natural laws and most likely it''s own intelligent races. But along all the realms there was one race and one type of natural laws that were particular regualar to find across the different realms.
This were the human race and the natural laws called daos.
Humans were living across a vast majority of realms often even coexisting with other races that had similar high intelligence. Of course they varied in the cultural development as things like natural laws of the realm they lived in and the amount of time they already existed within the realm were heavily playing a role in this.
This leads to the second regularity, the natural laws called daos and the type of energy that going with it qi. They were also spread across countless realms and any races used them as foundation for cultural and technological development. Primally the cultural development was very special in realms with daos and qi in them.
This was because of one special trait this kind of natural law had. They allowed to cultivate.
Cultivation was a training process of absorbing qi into the body and using it to start earthshattering changes within it. They once that practised cultivation so called cultivators or in case of humans Immortals would at one point become able to create powerful attacks with only their body and the energy in it to the point of even destroying a whole planet like it was nothing.
Also after cultivating to a certain realm cultivators woul become immortal and lead endless lives.
Because of this civilisation in dao based realms would most certainly be rather basic compared with civilisations in physics based realms.
Of course there were also other energies that would allow humans or other races to absorb them and become stronger, but amongst the countless realms the path of qi cultivation was the most usual.
As for Zes, the soul in the normal looking ring, he was such a immortal a cultivator coming from another realm. In a hard fight his body was destroyed and his soul sucked into a rift that led to another space.
Somehow the soul had reached this realm and used the ring as a container for it and lastly Zes woke up inside of a normal ring somewhere on a potato field.
"This is so degrading¡. I a paragon, a peak existence that wasn''t seen in any of the realms for billions of years am caught in a fucking ring, in some random potato field without any chance to get away from here!"
Angry Zes cursed as he though about his current situation.
Originally he was a paragon, someone who had reached the apex of cultivation and become invisible in the world. But because of certain circumstances he was still killed and his soul send to another realm. Now he found himself in a rusty ring, unable to move at all.
How couldn''t he be unsatisfied?
Still, after some time Zes finally calmed down and started to analyse his situation.
"Let''s see. First of all this realm doesn''t seem to have any qi or daos inside of it. Rather it has some other natural laws that are kind of a mix of magic and physics. The energies around me allow me to manipulate them and create new things out of them, but they force me to stay in the realm of physics while doing so¡.. Interesting!"
As Zes had been a paragon before loosing his body, he had a very profound knowledge of any natural laws even the ones outside of daos and qi. So even though he had never encountered the kind of natural law this realm was based on, he was at least able to understand it''s rules and the way it operated.

"I have lost most of my powers now that my cultivation is gone together with my body, but I seem to be able to use the energies here and also absorb them into the ring. I guess after a bit of time I should be at least able to create some kind of body to move with.
Well first I will have to start absorbing this shit¡."
Without further ado, Zes started to suck in the energies around him into the ring forming a small bubble like container in it where the energy was stored in.
While he was continuously sucking in all the energy around him he started to ponder.
"Ok I have stranded here, so what am I going to do know?
I obviously have to get back to my old realm and see my old friend to tell them that I''m still alive and kicking. My lovers and my daughter also should be thinking that I''m death, so one of my goals should be getting back there.
But other then this¡. I''m already here so why not having a bit of fun?
Let me think about this¡. how about a own kingdom! Year that kind of suddenly a guys appearing that created a kingdom despite being a nobody. Nice story line!
Well either way first thing I have to do is finding someone who lives around here and has an idea about the energy forms around here. General knowledge would also be quite nice when I''m at it.
¡¡
¡¡
Fuck why does it take so long!"
While Zes was impatiently waiting for enough energy to be absorbed he started to use small amounts of energy to draw strange lines around himself. Symbols formed and strange letters soon covered the ground around him. At one point he finally added a last line to the whole thing and suddenly the whole construction of symbols and lines began to get into motion.
A blue light started to radiate from the symbols and along with it energy started to gather around the area it was painted on.
Then with one flash of light the whole area around the ring evaporated into nothing and the ring fell into the newly made crater.
"So it''s based on formations!"
Zes exclaimed. He had already expected this to be the case, but he couldn''t be sure unless he tried it.
Formations were a combination of symbols and lines that were drawn in a special way to correspond the realms natural laws. After energy was injected into them the lines would channel the energy in a special way and use the realms natural laws to get a certain result.
I could be said that formations were like specially formed tube, the energy that was channeled into it would be forced to take a special form according to the form the tube had.
Formations existed in almost all realms that had natural laws that allowed manipulation and especially realms with long history of cultivation had exquisite formations that would have terrifying powers.
As for Zes, his humble self had been a master in formation that searched equal across the realms. So the fact that this worlds energies could be used in formations made things much easier for him.
"Finally got enough of it."
After spending almost a week to absorb energies into the container Zes finally felt that he had enough to create a body to move with. Now there was only one problem.
"What am I supposed to make it out?"
Blankly Zes stretched out his self out of the ring searching the whole area for any use able materials.
He searched over the whole surface, going into every canny and even trying to go a bit into the ground but¡.
"HOW CAN THERE BE NOTHING?
Fuck do I have to create my body out of potatoes?"
He really wanted to avoid this. After all he was going to become the ruler of a country, how can a ruler have a body of potatoes?
Sure he could change it later on, but what would he do if someone saw him like this now and told other later? He couldn''t just kill everyone that saw him like this could he?
"This¡ is really degrading."
Well, in the end because of a lack of choices the mighty paragon had to choose the potato body.
After having decided that he had to use the potatoes around him Zes began to act unhesitating. Using the accumulated energy he dig out some potatoes and using one unusually big potato as a base he started to cover the potatoes with formations.
Using two small potatoes he created simple feet for the small scaled potato body and another two where used as small arms.
After two hours of hard work the magnus opum was finished. A about 30 centimeter big golem made out of five potatoes covered in complicated formations was standing in front of the ring.
A pondering expression on his nonexistent face Zes solemnly said.
"I name you Christin"
In this moment a journey started. The journey of a soul caught in a old rusty ring and a small potato golem that was made to move the ring.
Chapter 2 POTATO!
Ok second chapter!
First of all I want to thank the guys that have come over from my last novel. Thx for staying with me! Secondly I''m not sure how often I will be able to post a chapter as I''m already only a week from my summer vacation and have much free time. But I''m also traveling quite a lot this time around and not sure how much I will write in this time.
I can promise at least one chapter a week, but if also could get 10.
Either way Enjoy!
Chapter 2 Potato
This is the day where two kindred souls begin their heroic journey across the countless realms of the multiverse. One a mighty paragon who''s lost his body and now lives inside of a beautiful ring, the other a powerful golem made by the paragon to serve him as knight. Two powerful warriors of justice¡.
¡¡
Fuck it only becomes more humiliating the more I think about it¡.."
The heroic swing in Zes voice broke as he cursed about his vile luck.
"Either way, the faster I get away from here, the faster I can create a better golem!"
This was practically the only thing that held Zes anger contained right now. The hope to get some better materials to create a good golem with.
"Ya hear me? I will soon get me a better and get rid of you."
Zes scornfully said to Christin.
"I''m already starting to speak with a pile of potatoes..
Sighing Zes could only ''shake'' his head over the situation. Controlling Christin he let it move it''s short arms and pick up the ring. Then he placed himself onto the golems head and used a bit energy to fixate himself there.
"Ok let''s go, I think there is a forest in some distance from here. There should be better materials over there."
Channeling a tiny bit of energy into Christin, he got the golem into motion.
¡..
Step
¡..
Step
¡¡
Step
"WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!"
Zes was already totaly in despair.
"Not onto does this thing look like some Halloween decoration made by some three years old child that has seen to much modern art, it''s also a fucking turtle?"
There was a good reason for Zes rage. As he got Christin into motion he had to realize.¡ that it was extremly slow. Fuck, the word slow was already not enough to descripe this kind of speed. Not only could it only move slowly so as to not lose its balance, it was also took 5 minutes to do a single step of about 10 centimeters.
In result it took them an whole hour to just get a bit more then a meter away from their original spot.
Anger boiling inside of him, Zes had no other choice but continue in this pace that couldn''t even be compared to grandpa snails of three generations back.
One day.
¡.
Two days.
¡¡
¡..
Three day.
¡.. this¡..
Four days.
¡¡..
Fife days.
¡¡ sigh¡..
Six days.
¡..
Seven days.
¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡.
It took them seven whole days to finally get out of the seemingly endless jungle of potatoes and finally reach some small trampled field path.
Zes had long since given up on his anger and the intense feeling of humiliation while riding his own creation. Completely silent he repressed his emotions and the exhaustion of anything that could once have been called patience within him. Not saying a single word he just sat on his ''prideful knight'' as he continued his ''heroic'' path.
"I kind of want to stop already."
It was an unending journey. Not because there was no end to it, but because Zes was sure that the world would already have found it''s end when he finally reached anything that was not a potato field. In fact Zes already began to believe that this realm was made of potato fields.
Potatoes, potatoes and even more potatoes were ever he saw. Slowly Zes was sure that he had a potato allergy even though he had no body to get a allergic shook.
At one point Zes couldn''t handles it anymore. The long suppressed emotions and the resentment together with the humiliation and his unending hate for potatoes quelled over and fuelled into the deep rage that had long since started to boil inside of Zes.
Anger+Humiliation+loss of patience+Unending amount of potatoes all around a lunatic person= Brain goes into vacation.
"Potato?¡ Potato! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH Potatoes!!!!!!!!
Potatoes everywhere!"
Well in Zes case it wasn''t a brain as he had none, but he just stopped his rational thinking and did the only thing an enraged lunatic paragon would do¡.
He took all the energy he had accumulated and in one move channeled all of it into Christin.
There was no consideration what would happen after the energy left his control and could freely move in the golem. There was no though wasted on what it could mean if he lost all energy he had accumulated over the last two weeks.
He just wanted to vent his anger and who else but the stupid thing that caused his anger in the first place would be more suited to do so? More over he already had developed a agonistic mind towards potatoes and well¡. Christin was made of them¡.
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Adding onto this, Zes had never stopped absorbing the energy at any point, the whole time was used to continuously absorb more and more of energy and store it into the container inside of his ring. In this manner quite a lot of energy had been piled up inside of the ring.
If you took the energy used to create Christin and called it one, the energy that Zes had piled up over the course of the last weeks it would be somewhere around 15.
And all of this energy was spontaneously channeled into the frail body of potatoes that Christin represented.
The latter suddenly stopped movement. Then it fell over and ceased function.
Only now Zes regained consciousness and calmed down. As he saw what he had done in his few moments of uncontrollable rage he cursed.
"Potato (Shit)¡.
This is potato (Bad (Stuff)), it seems that the formations on this stupid potato were damaged by the energy I send into it and now that I have no more energy inside of me I''m unable to repair them.
I also can''t create a new one as this would also take up energy I don''t have right now."
In the end Zes had no other choice but stay were he was and start absorbing energy again in order to repair the broken formations on Christin.
But what Zes didn''t notice in his distressed mood and the frail state of mind was, that Christin was actually changed. A faint glow was emitted by it''s surface and if Zes would check it, he would notice that the formations that were broken didn''t stay like this. Instead they started to change!
The energy he had just send into Christin didn''t just destroyed the formations that made it move, it stayed inside of Christin and started to move within the still functioning formations, repairing and changing the broken ones.
The next three days Zes was once again absorbing energy to repair the ''broken'' Christin.
In this time Zes had quite a lot of free time as absorbing didn''t really required him to put his mind into it. So while cultivating he seperated a strand of his soul from his body and send it out to explore the outside world throught it.
He was able to control the strand of soul up to 10 kilometers around him and observe the area through it.
Through this strand of soul he confirmed, that about 5 kilometers from his position there was a small forest and next to it a likewise small village with human inhibiting it.
Of course he was overjoyed by this fact, after all a human settlement should have at least a smithery and some materials to create a better golem to move with and adding to this there were humans that could provide him with information about this world and the energies and natural laws around.
But his happiness was soon tainted.
It were FIVE kilometers to the village. To a normal person it was nothing much, but if he had to take Christin to get there it would at least take five months!
Five more moths surrounded by the ''evil''¡..
Zes could only shudder at the thought of this.
But on the other side it wasn''t that bad. At least there was a settlement in the area and he could reach it through the path he was taking. It might take some time, or rather a LOT of time to get there, but if Zes had anything then it was time.
So even though the three days were pretty boring for Zes and he was surrounded by his greatest enemy he could cope with it as he had the human village before his eyes.
But there was one thing that bothered Zes besides the boringness.
There was one time where Zes had send out a strand of his soul to once again check out the human village, but when he called it back a strange thing happened.
Right before it was about to reenter him the strand of soul was actually sucked into the ''death'' body of Christin!
Zes didn''t know how it happened, but it was truly the fact that this strand of soul mysteriously disappeared inside of Christin without Zes being able to retrieve it.
Only on the third day Zes finally find out what had happened.
"Hello master!"
While Zes was furiously absorbing energy into his body to finally get moving again suddenly a voice called out. Zes startled and immediately looks out for the owner of the voice. Happiness rises inside of him. A voice had to have a owner and this owner would have legs.
And good quick legs were currently the thing making Zes get boners¡..
Exited he looked all around looking for the owner of the voice, but no matter how much Zes searched with his soul, he couldn''t find the owner of the voice.
"Master I''m here!"
Once again the voice called out and this time Zes was able to tell just whose voice it is. It was Christin! Shocked he looked at Christin like a normal person would look at some guy who is locked up in a ring.
"I-impossible!"

Chapter 3 Retard
ok next chapter. I have some news. I got myself a Patreon account. Let''s say it that way. I do not force you to donate me money or something like that, I will continue writing anyway, BUT I will give you a small motivation to donate a bit. I decided that will write 5 regular chapters a week from now on and give the option to donate a bit money (at least 3 dollar of course it can be more (amount will rise the more people read this)) to get additional chapters. I will cap this to a maximum of 8 chapters a week (5 regular and 3 donated) to guarantee the quality of the chapters.
I want to make clear that I do not really do this for the money, but I do believe that for the time and trouble I invest into this I have the right to give such a option without getting criticism for it.
The link: https://www.patreon.com/BluedragonGoldensteppe
By the way the regular chapters are guaranteed, even if I never get a single donation I will keep them up (Well it WILL effect my motivation though.).
I hope you understand me and keep reading this novel.
Enjoy!!!
Chapter 3 Retard
"Da fuck?"
Disbelieving he looked down onto Christin that had already stood up.
"How is this possible? There shouldn''t be a way to create new sentient live unless you use another individuals soul as a base for it!"
Zes couldn''t really believe what he was seeing. First of all Christin, who had up to now been controlled by Zes in order to move had suddenly began to move on it''s own and even start to speak with him. Additionally it did not only grow to about two times it former size, it also became more humanoid with it''s body getting a waist and a clearly differentiated head that clearly belonged to a young female human.
It''s formerly plump arms that had only consisted out of a single potato on each side, had now become just like a humans with an upper and a lower arm.
All in all Christin which had looked like some strange golem made of five potatoes now had the appearance of a small girl.
In fact there were even indicated areas that resembled a young womans private areas!
Seeing Zes staring at her body Christin started to grin.
"Sry master, but it will take an additional evolution to complete my sexual organs, right now they are only indicated but not really there."
Zes ''blinked''.
"Evolution? So this was a evolution caused by the energy I send into you!"
Christin nodded lightly.
"Yes the energy that master injected into me when he lost his reasoning caused the formations and the cells within me to evolve and merge together. But there was not enough energy to completely evolve me into a humanoid and I could only take this form."
"That means that as long as you get more energy from me you will become stronger and more human like?"
"Correct!"
Cheerfully Christin answered every question Zes made.
Zes grew quite for a while. Pondering he suddenly asked.
"But even if you evolved because of the energy I send into you and even developed a sentience, how do you know all this things
In the first place it should be impossible for you to get a sentience this easily! So where is the soul from that transformed into your sentience? It must have been a very special soul to have all this knowledge and be able to lead you evolution into this path. "
Christin startled before saying.
"It''s yours!"
¡.
"Right!
The strand of soul that got sucked into you! The evolution triggered by the energy must have awakened a desire to acquire a soul to truly evolve into a higher being and as my soul strand was in the vicinity it was just sucked into you and used as base to create your ''self''!"
Christin nodded confirming Zes guess.
"Using the information in the strand I was born and my path of evolution was adjusted to the preferences you have"
"¡. wait then why are you a loli? I do like them but¡. I prefer riper woman ya know?"
"That''s because the original amount of cells was only enough to create a small body and I hadn''t enough energy to create more cells to get a bigger body. I could have just become a small scaled mature woman, but something inside of the strand had rather gotten me this kind of appearance.
I wonder¡ maybe this are masters true preferences?"
An awakening expression appeared on Christine delicate features.
"NO! Absolutely no!"
Zes resolutely said. Then he changed the theme.
"Either way, the appearance you have didn''t matter that much, as long as it''s fuckable it''s ok isn''t it? More important is¡. are you faster now?"
With a pressing voice Zes asked and his voice showed true hope. Hope to get out from this place!
Christin smiled but didn''t respond and rather suddenly got into motion. Within a moment she already speed up and began to run forwards into the direction of the human village.
"Fuck year. Finally a speed that can get me somewhere!"
Her speed had clearly improved from before. It was in a whole different dimension. The Christin of before only was able to go about 0.001 kilometer an hour and this was under good conditions. The new one on the other side was easily able to speed up to about 30 kilometers an hour without seeming to get tired.
This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work.
Zes was in ecstasy and in fact he mentally truly grew an boner.
Now that their speed had finally reached dimensions were advance wasn''t only a word but a real fact he finally was able to truly enjoy this travel. After all wouldn''t you rather enjoy a ride at 100 km/h then one at 1km/h?
The landscape didn''t really change, there were still only potato fields as far as you could see, but at least now there was some kind of movement in this whole thing.
After two hours of constant running there was finally a small change.
A man had suddenly appeared at the path walking into their direction. He doesn''t seemed to have noticed them yet as he was slowly walking forward in a really relaxed manner.
It was a young looking man with short black hair and a very messy hairstyle. He wore an simple attire composed of brown pants, a white shirt and a vest of black leather that was loosely worn over the shirt. Nothing that could be called unusual in a rural area.
But there was something that was unusual about him.
Just about the time as Zes and Christin discovered him on the path, the young man suddenly slides up and fell into the ditch that lead along the path and was used to water the fields. Water splashed as he simply fell into the water filled ditch and for a moment he disappearing in the muddy water before he got up again.
Stunned Zes and Christin observed how the man stood ap and tried to get out of the ditch stepping onto a muddy pice of earth and once again fell into the ditch.
"He is an idiot, isn''t he?"
"Right?"
Two smiles curled as they watched the man finally getting out of the ditch after attempting two more times. His clothes were completely drenched in water and mudd and the messy hair was falling into his face as he stood on the path heavily breathing after his exiting adventure of falling into a ditch.
With one hand he took the strands of hair out of his view and took of the drenched vest. It was at this moment that he finally discovered Zes and Christin that were standing only a distance away still trying to hold their laugher after this comically show.
The young man''s face instantly became crimson red when he looked at Christin naked body and the seemingly exposed private areas she did nothing to hide.
"Exhibionist?"
¡¡.
"No."
"Then why do you wear no cloths?"
"¡¡ have no clothes¡¡"
"Oh¡¡."
An awkward silence rose between them. Of course the young man didn''t now that Christin was a humanoid potato that had just evolved and naturally had no clothes she could wear. He also didn''t now that there was Zes who was still riding on her forehead almost dieing because of laugher.
He only saw a maybe 10 years old girl that was standing naked before him surrounded by endless seeming potato fields.
¡..
"Do you want my vest?"
He pointed at the still wet vest in his hands.
¡..
"Sure"
He handed it over to her and Christin immediately wore it.
Because of the difference in sizes the vest was more then big enough to cover Christine whole body without exposing anything. Of course it looked quite strange as the vest was clearly to big for her and it would cause many strange glances, but it was better than running naked into the village.
"Um, can I help you? Maybe escort you somewhere?"
Hesistating the young man finally asked.
"Oh no need, I can get home one my own."
Christin quickly found into her act. She couldn''t possibly tell this guy''s that she was a potato created by her master Zes to move around could she? So Christin quickly decided to tell this strange man a face story. She told him that she had been bathing in a lake in the area and lost her clothing there. Without another choice she had to go back completely naked and hope that there would no no one on the way.
The young man listened to the story and seemed to believe it. He excused himself and said goodbye continuing to follow the path into the opposite direction to Christin''s and Zes.
In the whole time Zes hadn''t said another word. Completely silent he had waited for the man to be some distance away before he said.
"This guy¡.
he isn''t normal. We have to be cautious if we meet him again and I don''t know why, but something tells me that we definitely will."
"What makes you that sure?"
Surprised Christin asked.
"Intuition. That guy has quite some natural laws swirling all around him and some are very particular and strange. He should have some kind of position in this world. With my ambitions it would be strange if I didn''t meet him again.
"Either way he is a retart."
Christin cheerfully said waving her arms.
"¡.."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Interesting.."
Some distance away from Zes and Christin the young man suddenly stopped in his trails and turned around watching Christin''s figure becoming smaller and smaller.
Chapter 4 A leek
First chapter of the week. Four more to come!!!
Guys it''s kind of awkward to ask, but could you please vote a bit better? It''s bad for the novel if it''s rated this bad and it will keep others from reading it.
As motivation I will write one more chapter if the ranking reaches 3 stars and three more chapters this week if it reaches 4 stars.
Don''t get me wrong, but I just think it''s a pity if others don''t give me a change because of a bad rating.
Chapter 4 A leek
After they left the strange young man they still needed about an hour until they finally were able to see the small gathering of houses that represented the human settlement Zes had found earlier.
The village was only composed out of a few dozen houses surrounded by a small wall of piled up stones that seperated the village from the fields surrounding it. There was only one small street leading through a hole in the wall into the village itself.
The houses the village was build of were mostly made of stone and wood resembling the style of middle aged architecture. A provincial charm was shown by it''s simplicity and together with the endless fields around the village it made the picture of a farming village complete.
Exited Zes directed Christin towards the village. He finally would see some ''normal'' humans and maybe even have the opportunity to get information''s about the natural laws of this world and the realm in general.
After all both Christin and the young man from before couldn''t really be descibed as normal, especially considering the situation they were in.
Half an hour they finally reached the entrance to the village as suddenly¡..
BOOOOOOOM
¡¡.
A house was blown up right before Zes eyes.
"It''s a flag¡.."
He couldn''t avoid to notice. To speak the truth he was quite stunned, who should expect a flag like this to appear as soon as be just neared the village? The fact that it really happened in such a way made him speechless and also kind of annoyed.
Christin on the other side was quite cheerful about the unexpected development. Carefree she replied.
"Jup seems like one"
"¡¡Sigh~ let''s go."
Still annoyed by the strange situation they were in, Zes gae up on the world.
They entered the village and the first thing they noticed was,
a huge pile of charred potatoes laying in the middle of the small village square. Fire was roaring all around the potatoes and a thick scend of backed potato was filling the air.
"It smells yummy!"
Christin suddenly said.
"Cabalism between vegetables !!!!!!"
Shocked Zes looked at Christin.
"But they sure have a lot of potatoes¡.."
Then suddenly another explosion rang out. A two story house suddenly caught fire and burned down within seconds. A voice accompanied the burning strom and echoed threw the small village.
"You vile humans, eating my poor brethren like they are mere food. You all deserve to die."
As Zes and Christin turned their attention into the direction the voice came from both startled. Christin''s moth opened but no sound came out. Zes also shut down, but unlike Christin he was struggling hard to not start laughing. This was because the voice came from a ¡..
talking leek!
It had no arms or legs, only a mouth and two big eyes and was floating mid air surrounded by a couple of fire balls. It''s green top was wipping in the air as it angrily opened it''s mouth.
"Potatoes my brothers I will get revenge for you!"
Zes couldn''t help but stare completely dumbfounded. Man, who wouldn''t be stupefied if they saw a taking leek calling potatoes his brethren?
Before Zes could overcome his surprise the leek send of another batch of the fire balls around him. Tears were streaming out from two big eyes that were actually right over this strange leeks mouth.
"Die you monsters!"
"Um, master shouldn''t we do something about this guy''s?"
Christin who overcame the surprise faster then Zes urging called out for the still stunned later. Only now Zes overcame the speechlessness and woke up.
"Ah¡ yes, but no need to kill him. Just get me near to him and beat him a few times for raising a stupid flag like this."
"Sure!"
Having confirmed her order Christin suddenly charged forward leaving the entrance of the village and closing right upon the leek. With quick steps she overcame the distance in a moment, already being only a few steps from the leek.
By the time she neared it, the leek also already had noticed Christin who was charging towards him. A dangerous glint flickered in his strange ''out of place'' eyes as he controlled two new fire balls to fire at the charging Christin. The latter immediately reacted adjusting her path a bit and dodging the fire balls by a small margin.
In the next moment she already had reached the leek. Using her two small hands she tried to grab the leek who then escaped by flying upwards.
This brought the fight into the sky.
Christin immediately ran to the next available house and used the front to climb up and jump into the air. Zes channeled some energy, forming small formations around her body that made it able for her to fly in the air as she once again chased behind the leek.
The one is question already noticed that he couldn''t underestimate this strange little girl that had suddenly appeared from no were and this time he was more careful never letting Christin get to close to him. He rather chose ranged fight and threw one fire ball after another at Christin who just dodged them easily.
Angrily he cried.
"Where the heck does this crazy bitch come from?
This is fucking broken! First I had to wait and hide a whole day until the crazy guy finally left the village and now that he is away this small girl appears and is freakin powerful!"
More complains followed as he retreated further and further, not letting Christin come to close to him.
Now Christin showed just what her evolved body was cable of. She drew beautiful arcs as she had to dodge the flamming balls of fire and at the same time try to get a hold of the leek.
One fire ball after another missed her and flew further into the distance hitting into either one of the houses or a potato field before the city.
Zes had to admit that even though he pitied the villagers who lost home and food, he still felt pretty damn good seeing the potatoes that had become a nightmare for him burn.
But still, at one point he had to finally get a quick end out of this.
Zes who was continuously channeling energy finally had enough of this tag play and suddenly a hand formed out of energy, manifesting right in front of the leek, gabbing it and holding it in place. At the same time Christin suddenly picked up speed and finally got ahold of it.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
The leek struggled in her hands as he cursed and complained wildly, but Christin had her hand closed tightly, leaving the leek no way to escape.
Just as she was about to laugh out loud about this new catch, Zes voice suddenly anxiously rang inside of her head.
"Ehm, ¡. I ran out of energy.
¡
We are falling right now."
And they fell.
Zes had used up all the energy he had absorbed in the last days while holding both him and Christin in the air and at the same time catching the leek with the hand manifested out of energy. Finally, now he had used up all the energy he had absorbed previously and there was no more energy to hold them in the air. In result Christin fell together with the leek and Zes, heading towards the unavoidable end¡.
the ground.
10 meters of free fall. Zes wasn''t really sure if Christin''s body could handle the damage resulting out of it, but he wasn''t able to do anything. His energy reserves were completely drained and not a single drop of energy remained inside of him.
Without any other choices he had to watch them fall down all the way down.
Just a moment before they reached the ground the leek suddenly bursted out with energy and let''s them stop mid air for a moment before finally falling the last meter.
He too had used up almost all energy in this fight and had now become completely powerless. Weakly he hung in Christin''s tightly gripped hand.
Christin on the other side was extremly well right now. This amount of running and jumping was nothing to her and as Zes did all the work of holding her in air she had practically done almost nothing this time around. Now she was just easily holding the leek in her right hand as she stood up.
"You are fine master?"
She asked while looking down onto her self. The vest she had worn earlier had opened completely uncovering her well proportioned body and her unripe private areas.
The villagers that had just come out from her hidings, especially the young ones felt the blood rise into their faces as they looked at the young beauty that had just saved them.
"I''m fine, but you DO enjoy this, don''t you? Sure your not a exhibionist? At least cover yourself up or else this guy''s will get a nosebleed."
Only giving a meaningful smile Christin wordlessly closed the vest, causing some sad emotions within the villagers.
One of them, a young man waited a moment to calm down from the beautiful view he was able to see ealier and then hesitating went to Christin.
"l-lady, we thank you for saving us. Could you grace us with your names?"
Christin mustered the young man from head to shoes before flatly answering.
"Christin."
Despite the rude answer the young villager wasn''t offended but rather found it normal. Someone in her age, wielding powers on her degree wouldn''t have a simple background and it was normal for people of such high standing to be a bit arrogant and maybe rude while speaking to people of lower classes.
Nervously he began to thank Christin representing the whole village.
"Lady Christin, I-i thank you in the name of our village for saving us from this v-vile creature that tried to destroy our homes and kill us. Without you here we would certainly have found cruel and painful ends on the hands of this¡."
He stopped for a moment looking at the still struggling leek in Christins hands.
"Leek."
"Yes¡. leek."
He stared doubtfully on it.
" Either way, I''m also here to invite you to our villages elder. He would be honored if Lady would grace him with her presence."
"What should we do?"
Christin asked Zes. He only ''shrugged''.
"Just go with the flow."
Once again focusing onto the young villager Christin only faintly nodded. Seeing that the villager hesitated for a moment she impatiently yelled at him.
"What are you waiting for? Lead the way!"
10 minutes later Christin and with her Zes were standing in a small three story house located in the middle of the village. Well, small was only relative. In this village this three storey house already represented the biggest and most luxurious house only available for the village elder.
But if placed the small house into a small town it already only could be considered a second rate house for slightly wealthy families to live in.
Either way, in the house Christin was treated very politely, immediately led to the village elder and given a comfortable chair. She was also offered a drink or a small meal, but Christin politely declined the offer.
It wasn''t that she really had to eat anything as she fed of Zes energy and seeing that the village was in a pretty bad spot after the leek destroyed a big parts of the fields she felt bad to receive food, she didn''t really need.
Now she was sitting on the chair, the leek still in the right hand having given up his useless struggle and Zes residing inside of the ring on her forehead. Right in front of her was an elderly man looking like he was in his 60ties.
a long white bread reached all over his face and his kind face had two lively brown eyes. Wrinkles testified of the decades he had already spend on this planet and inside of his lively eyes experience and wisdom was obvious.
This very sympathetic elder was currently staring at the very point were the vest was ending and her naked legs began. A slightly perverted gaze went right over the place were her most important spot should be and then went up to the place were two small peaks were already bulging out a bit.
Zes didn''t really know what to say about this.
"Is this world inhabited by perverted guys and old grandpa''s that have nothing to do then to stare at a young girls undeveloped body?
Is this the world I truly belong to?"
Ok the last part wasn''t really his thoughts. (Bad pun of the autor)
But it was really obvious that this old man had not yet forgotten the beauty of womanly flesh.
Christin didn''t really mind it. She rather liked the feeling of being stared at and in fact if not for the fact that Zes wouldn''t allow it, she probably would not even wear any clothes at all.
Faced with the peverted grandpa she didn''t blush or got angry, but rather spread he legs a bit and made bit more of her legs visible for the grandpa.
The latter truly couldn''t take his eyes of her now and even the leek who was on the sidelines still being held in her hands felt his eyes being draws towards a particular place.
"Hrhrm. So you wanted to speak me?"
An innocent smile blossomed over Christins face as she lifted the vest even a bit more.
