We finally made it here lye''s the demon lord, The seven of us summoned Heroes to stop the demon lord and his army, When we were summoned we were complete strangers but through life and death situations we became fast friends as we were plunged head first into battle after battle, Our self appointed leader Leo an American who thinks he is gods gift to earth, bloody womaniser if you ask me, he is the cliche type hero the human kings favourite he was the first of us to "volunteer" to stop the demon lord, sigh volunteer like any of us had any real choice, then their is Sarah she''s from Rome she is our healer as well as the church''s so called holy saint, with her spells she can heal even the worst of Injury''s, Peter or Pete as we call him he is the oldest of us our resident tank/cook, jolliest guy I ever met of coarse it doesn''t help he''s drinking half the time and eating the other half sigh so cliche, but he pulls through were it counts saved the team more times than I care to remember, then there are the twins they are from Germany but their parents are South African Claire a ice Mage with her spells she can make a wall of ice so thick it gives even the mightiest of foes a pause and then Chloe a fire Mage with her devastating AOE attack "fire tempest" she nukes the battle field, ronin he is from Japan he is a swordsman wields a katana the same size as him, he just loves to play the hero thinks he''s in a god damn anime, hell he''s probably right in some regard, Then last is me Marc, Half Maltese half Australian (maltaussie) and also the author of this book I''m the team scout/maintenance/book worm and then finally lying on the ground bloody and beaten the demon lord himself, we made it we won we did the training we fought the legions of demons all the way up to the demon lord him self and now it is time to initiate my plan, Reading on Amazon or a pirate site? Just as Leo was going to strike the last blow I say an activation spell and my team mates collapse into an induced coma, The demon lord is shocked he tries to move but his Injury''s are too great, He is no threat to me as he is and he knows it I get to work altering the memories of my fellow heroes and set a bomb for 5 minutes the explosion is large enough to destroy half this castle, I active the teleportation runes around my friends, I send them off just outside some village on the human continent, Now the it''s just the demon lord and I he looks at me confused but I pay no attention to him as this next part is tricky and I must concentrate, i read from my grimore that has all of my notes and experiments and the scene around us changes just as the bomb goes off no longer do I see the stone walls of the demon lord castle but a paradise, rolling green hills filled with butterflies and flowers, clear blue skies, calm gentle breeze and the distant sounds of a waterfall, the demon lord is confused he speaks in what seems a very long time, "Are we dead" I walk over to him and press on his wounds he growls "no we are not" I hand him a healing pill of my own making he looks at it "your trying to poison me I would rather go down fighting" he lunges at me which I effortlessly dodge He is far too injured, "it will heal you" he looks at it like I''m lying "I could force feed you it regardless but I figured you would want to keep your dignity or what''s left of it" my expression stoic and my voice almost uncareing, he scowls and grits his teeth and reluctantly he swallows it his wounds stop bleeding but it will be sometime before he fully heals, "were are we if we are not dead" he asks "It has many names Paradise, garden of Eden, eutopia but for now we shall call it.... "Wait... sigh (grits teeth) I need you''re help and you seem to have the answers to where are and what we are doing here so fine you may help me up" "Say please" "What grrrrrr" Starts walking away "Fine please" I turn and start helping him up and start moving him towards the trees it''s not far but in his weakens state it would have taken him a while as I was just about to rest him against a tree it he tackles me down into a ditch he stays punching me as he try''s to get on top off me damn his strength is back more than I thought he isn''t the demon lord for nothing huh "ahh" he pinned me to the ground with me on my back with my arms above me he puts his face right near mine "now your going to answer my questions where are we why did you bring me here" "I was going to tell you there''s no need for this violence besides your sitting on my stomach making it hard to breath now do you mind getting off I mean you no harm" he stares deeply into my eyes trying to see if I''m lying, "Sigh I swear if someone were to sees us it would look like your trying to rape me," i said jokingly The demon lord looks at me like he didn''t understand then he looks down and realizes they way we look, Hmmm strange he''s gone red in his face "yo yo you filthy human" but as he try''s to lift his body to get off me his energy runs out and collapses on top of me he has released my hands at least so can I pick him up (in a princess carry) sigh this demon lord is giving me so much trouble, "huh your surprisingly light (demon lord smiles) for such a big body", he punches me but it''s not hard as he is exhausted from a little scuffle, I bring him back to the tree and lye him against it again, he touches the places where I touched with disgust hmm ill pretend i didn''t see that maybe he is just dirty (wishful thinking) You might be reading a stolen copy. I walk down to the stream and pull out my spare towel and get it damp good thing I always have a towel thank you hitchhikers guide to the galaxy haha that brings a small smile to my face as I hand it to him the demon lord goes a bit red in the face again as he looks at my face "here wash your self with this" But it quickly goes away as he stares at the damp towel, He looks at it like its a dirty rag "don''t worry it''s my spare I haven''t used it before" He looks like he was going to reject it but I say "look clean your self you look uncomfortable with all dried up blood dirt and grime "the demon lord is not dirty" but he looks at his hands and sees the blood and dirt then feels his face and it has mud ,leaves and his own blood from the fight all over it so he reluctantly he takes it but says "get your filthy hands away from me and starts to clean himself of all the dirt mud and leaves and dried blood, I head to the stream, his eyes follow me ever vigilant until I start to take my belt off to undress for my pants and the rest off my clothes, "Wha Wha what are you doing" as he grabs his legs and pulls them close to his body in a defensive nature, "I''m washing my body" I reply as I submerge myself under water, As I come back up to the surface and start scrubbing my body I notice The demon lord relaxes, (that''s good he will start to regain his strength and heal how ever I notice he keeps starring at my body with reverence it''s a little weird, Poor guy he must not have seen or interacted with a lot off people I know the demon lord has lived a shelter life after all I heard from birth he was a target of assassination by the humans but come on his eyes a slowly drifting down below its a little embarrassing I mean he has the same equipment I have, "Ahem" I fake cough to get his attention his eyes move up to my face and sees me staring at him He looks at me and realises what he has been doing and gets red in the face I imagine I do to, then again maybe I''m just over thinking things or it''s something else hmmm I wonder if he is running a temperature I should have some muscle relaxers and herbal tea to help him rest and heal faster then again it could be a side affect of my healing pill I mean I know it hasn''t been properly tested but the science is sound although nobody really knows the full affects of some the compounds I used especially Crimson moon root it has been noted to cause small physical mutations if you use it in large doses but it shouldn''t cause a reaction like that hmmm maybe because he is a demon his physiology is different well what''s done is done can only do simple observation for now and react if it becomes more serious, "Why did you save me" the demon lord asks pulling me out of my thoughts "Because I didn''t want you to die"

I''m not the best cook but with the herbs and spices I added it''s a lot better than anything your world can cook, the demon lord ignores me so I go and lye down to stare at the sky a few minutes go buy "Thank you" Surprised but ultimately happy I reply "your welcome" And I fall asleep I was a bit cold in the beginning but I felt a nice warmth surround my body so I fell even deeper to sleep, where I had the weirdest nightmare that I was being strangled buy the most beautiful women I have ever seen but she gave up when she realised she couldn''t kill me I wake up startled buy a Big Bang, I sit up and notice that the demon lord is gone and my throat seems dry and a little sore I guess I''m a little thirsty, I get up and grab a change of clothes and my canteen and head to the stream to fill it up then on the way I hear the loud banging noise again I go towards it I notice the demon lord he seems to be feeling better I go closer "BANG" I see him looking pissed and attacking boulders with spells and grabbing them within his hands and crushing them with ease yikes glad that''s not me best leave him alone for now he seems pre-occupied, I finish washing myself and begin to fill up my canteen I stop and start admiring the beauty of nature when a beautiful deer looking thing walks up to the opposite side of the stream and starts drinking then a young foul gallops along side it''s mother but then starts chasing a glowing butterfly almost tripping over it self it brings a warm smile to my face I hear a noise behind me and see the demon lord half undressed starring blankly at me "Beautiful morning isn''t it" The demon lord goes red and breaks the trunk of the tree near him and throws it at me, missing and scaring away the animals "You you shameless pervert he screams at me" And that''s me que to leave I dive under water just as another tree flies past and I swim down stream I hear the demon lord in the distance "Get back here so that I can kill you" Well that''s not happening I swim further and get out of the water "Crap I left my clothes behind crazy demon lord throwing trees at me sigh" I look around and see the young foul again "Hello there sorry for my friend scaring you like that he can''t help himself nobody taught him right from wrong" The foul looks at me and starts nodding cutely like it understood then turns to look behind it when it hears some rustling behind it all of a sudden a majestic otherworldly look Buck with glowing antlers comes out the foul runs to it and starts jumping around it but the buck ignores it and keeps its eyes on me it then grunts and the little foul stops and looks sad then turns to look one last time at me then runs off into the forest, I just stand there staring in awe at this majestic animal it takes a few steps closer to me then grunts "Do you want me to follow" "Grunt" it nods then Turns around to go into the forest Jeez this is the begging over the strangest day ever, first I get a tree thrown at me then I start a conversation with a deer oh and I''m still naked sigh "Aaaaah were are you so I can rip you apart" I hear out in the distance jeez what is wrong with that guy he''s still chasing me sigh well lets go see where the magical glowing deer leads me can''t be worse of than letting the demon lord finding me

The keyword in that past sentence is not ''used'', as you would think by having read the fiction title, but the actual keyword is ''hero''. You see, the first thing you have to do to escape ''being a hero'' is to convince everyone that you are ''not hero material''. Once you are established as ''not hero material'' you can classify yourself as anything you want, but still under the overall title of a hero. This might sound confusing, but hold on for a few minutes while I explain. First and foremost, this guide of mine alongside the overall larger guide is a guide to change the type of hero you are from the stereotypical hero. Secondly, heroes come in two types. Heroes that help people, and heroes that kill people. We aim to be the first kind. Thirdly, once summoned, you will always be a summoned hero. This is inescapable. And so, with these three things pointed out, we being the guild to becoming a different type of hero. 1)Not Hero Material Anyone can be a hero. Stay that someone is ''not hero material'' just means that they cannot be a stereotypical hero, which is a good thing, at least for our objective. A stereotypical hero will have some overpowered ability, an overwhelming sense of justice, and the ovaries of every female they encounter. These are the O''s of Heroes. From the O''s of Heroes, we know exactly what must be absent in order to be ''not hero material''. You should have no special power that makes you able to defeat enemies. You should not care about right and wrong, and not be allied to any side. You should not have success with the ladies. However, these can be done to the extreme. A person with absolutely no power will rally the troops and boost morale. A person who does not distinguish between right and wrong will be seen as a revolutionary and change the way people think about the evil presence. A person with no success with the ladies will be seen as a chaste hero from god. This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it. The optimal amount of ability would be just above a normal person without training. Any amount of power that reaches the level of someone who has trained will expose the potential hero as someone with great potential. This is, for obvious reasons, undesirable. The optimal amount of a sense of justice would be indecisive on major issues. You should be able to tell when an individual is not a good person, but not be able to make a choice on anything that would effect more than two people. Essentially, you want to be an indecisive little shit like Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The optimal amount of success with the ladies is first base. Second base is a deadman''s land for those who don''t want to be heroes. Once someone has allowed a second base hit, they are opening themselves up to the idea of you being a hero. Natives of the summoning world will fall in love with the big strong hero, and fellow summoned people will believe the one they love can fix everything for them. Once you have established yourself as the weaksauce loner with no backbone, you have completed the first step and become ''not hero material''. 2)Someone Else''s Problem Once you have been taken out of the running for being the hero to solve everyone''s problems, you want to make sure that no fallout can come back to bite you. Once everyone else takes a shot at being a hero, and fails, the torch will inevitably be passed back to you. "Oh look, someone we skipped earlier because they weren''t hero material. Let''s test them again!" which we don''t want anyone to be saying to themselves. And, would you look at the time.
