 Chapter - 1

    There are more than 7 billion people in the earth.


    About 2.5 billion are failures who can¡¯t achieve much in life however much they try.


    And me? Duuuh , Of course. I¡¯m one of them.


    I didn¡¯t know when my life started to fall.


    My family is relatively well-off. Living in the countryside, having an elder sister working as a lawyer, a little sister who¡¯s about to graduate college, and a single mother owning a restaurant.


    I¡¯m currently in my shabby and dark apartment room, thinking what should I do next after failing my college exam about 5 times at the age of 23 yr old.

 Chapter - 2

    When I woke up, I can¡¯t see anything.


    ''Did I turned blind?'' I thought while looking around, well it''s not really looking around because I can¡¯t see shit.


    I can somehow know that I¡¯m not blind, I can still feel like I¡¯m using my eyes but it¡¯s more like the surrounding is too dark that cause me to not see anything.


    It¡¯s like staring into an abyss, pure pitch black space that will make you go insane.


    I never knew looking at the dark is frightening.


    ¡°Where the hell am I?, Did I actually died while sleeping?¡±


    I can¡¯t help but shake my head, what a stupid way to die If I really did.


    But did I really died while sleeping?


    I saw some news that some people died while sleeping because of some reasons like falling off the bed, sleepwalking, getting bombed.


    It all seems possible other than the last one but it all looks too silly to happen to me right?


    ¡®Maybe.. it¡¯s just a dream?¡¯


    I tried to convince myself that it¡¯s just a dream, A bad dream because of the stress building up.


    ¡®Since it¡¯s just a dream there should be a way to wake myself up right?¡¯

    I stared at my left pinky for a minute and finally made up my mind, I closed my eyes first and grip it with my right hand.


    I have a really bad feeling about this but I know I should do anything I can right?. Better than doing nothing.


    I took a deep breath.

    I tried to touch my left pinky with my right hand and I can feel it¡¯s really bent the wrong way, I don¡¯t know if it¡¯s broken or dislocated but I know if it stays like this for a long time I won¡¯t be able to use it anymore.


    I¡¯m still crying over the pain of breaking my finger when suddenly an unexpected light blinded my vision causing me to cover my eyes with my right hand.


    Slowly peeking, I can see five silhouettes around me and it seems like the scenery changed.


    A small white room with a big notice board in the centre, and it seems like the words written on the Notice board are shining a bit.


    I fixed my gaze at the 5 other people who is also here with me thinking maybe one of them knows what¡¯s going on.


    We¡¯re currently standing around like a circle I don¡¯t even know for what reason.


    The first one I notice from the five of them is an eye-grabbing girl who is wearing a pink skirt. Not only does she have a great figure like a model, she also has a beautiful face.


    ¡®She¡¯s the popular type huh?¡¯


    She is also staring at me when she suddenly looked down.I shrug my shoulders and look at the rest, They all look at the surrounding first confusingly when they all suddenly started shouting.


    ¡°Where the fuck am I ?!¡± (Bulky man)

    ¡°I still need to find a job for christ sake!¡± (Ordinary guy #2)

    That girl is better than them in staying calm in a situation like this I thought while moving my gaze at the group and girl multiple times.


    I sighed and spoke in a deep voice.

    It seems like I got their attention because they all look at me in response.


    ¡°Who the fu-¡± he turned around and suddenly shut up when he saw my face and he even evaded my eyes when I looked at him

    I noticed everyone is staring at me strangely, like when I¡¯m still in high school.


    When I took a closer look at everyone. A popular type girl, a small guy with glasses, a bulky man , and two ordinary men with no extraordinary features.


    They always look away when I took a closer look at their face.

    ¡®I¡¯ve been in a lot fights and I can clearly sense this guy is waaaay stronger than me, thank god I didn¡¯t offend him earlier¡¯  bulky man thought with a sigh of relief and cold beads of sweat in his forehead.


    We¡¯re all standing awkwardly when the glasses guy spoke out nervously.

    They all seem surprised that I spoke and they started introducing their selves after I introduced myself.


    It looks like the name of the beautiful girl is Sophia Evergreen, bulky guy¡¯s name is Tiger O¡¯Connor while glasses boy¡¯s name is Tim Higgins I didn¡¯t bother remembering the other two¡¯s name since Ordinary guy #1 and #2 are easy to remember.


    They are all handshaking each other after introducing themselves so I thought I should join in.


    I walk slowly to where Tiger stood and lift my left hand for a handshake.


    He looks at me first strangely then look at my left hand, he looks like he had seen a ghost after looking at my hand.


    No, not only him everyone look slightly afraid while looking at my left hand.


    I¡¯m wondering why they¡¯re like that when I realise that I actually broke my left pinky earlier I forgot about it because of the situation I¡¯m in.

    ¡®He doesn¡¯t look like his in pain even with his finger like that¡¯ (Sophia)


    ¡®That finger is fucking touching the back of his hand doesn¡¯t that REALLY hurt?!¡¯ (Ordinary #1)

    ¡®What a tough guy! I¡¯ve broken some of my bones before but I don¡¯t look as calm and tranquil as this guy when it happened! Better stay on this guy¡¯s good side''(Tiger)


    I felt a sudden pain on my left pinky thinking.


    ''How come I didn''t felt it earlier?!''


    ''I guess it''s like those times where if you didn''t know you''re hurt you won''t feel anything huh?''


    ''WELL, I KNOW IT NOW !''


    I''m about to scream again because of the pain when the words written in the Notice Board suddenly glows brightly.

 Chapter - 3

    I and the other 5 people changed our line of sight at the glowing faint words written on the Notice Board.


    While we still can¡¯t read the words written on it I cast a glance at them to see their reactions on what¡¯s happening.


    They all seems curious and scared at the same time, curious at what is written on the notice board and scared on what will happen next.


    I¡¯m pretty surprise myself that I¡¯m actually calm on this kind of situation if you ask me.


    I smiled at myself for being a calm while thinking like I forgot something really painful, well it doesn¡¯t seem important since I forgot it anyway.


    The notice board glows more brightly than earlier so I stared at the letters more intently to see if I can read it now.


    ¡° Welcome to Phoenix Square. You are the people chosen and given a rare chance to clear our deadly ¡®Rebirth Missions¡¯, this mission may prove dangerous and risky to you and can also cause you death but of course, you can also reap high points that will help you to improve and strengthen yourself in many ways after clearing it.


    And a simple reminder, observe and use everything from your surrounding.

    Level 1 - survive 3 days in the designated place.

    I suck in a large breath thinking what should I do next, I can sense a foreboding feeling from this mission and I think it¡¯s more than deadly dangerous it should be ¡®REALLY REALLY REALLY deadly and dangerous shit¡¯.


    I¡¯m holding myself up from panicking since I need to be calm in this kind of situation or else I won¡¯t be seeing my family again if I really die!.


    I glance at the other people with me to see if they¡¯re fine and looks like they¡¯re not based on how they¡¯re shouting,screaming and arguing and it¡¯s only Sophia who¡¯s a bit calm.


    And it looks like there''re only 4 mins left before going to that dangerous place to survive.


    I took a glance at my clothes and jeans and thought I can¡¯t run if I¡¯m wearing jeans!, What if I desperately need to run?! They said its fucking deadly and dangerous!


    I hurriedly ripped my jeans up to my knee with my hands because time is running out!, anytime and I would need to survive on a fucking deadly and dangerous place for 3 days! 3 fucking days!


    I can¡¯t help but feel weird using my left hand but because of the current situation, I just ignored it.


    I took a look at the notice board and see that there''s only 1 min left!


    I calmed myself up and thought about what should I do.


    ¡®Can I survive this ?¡¯


    ¡®No!, It¡¯s not a matter of  ¡°Can I survive?¡± there¡¯s only one thing and to think and it''s¡°I need to survive!¡± ¡¯


    ¡®Or else I would cause sorrow and sadness to my family if I really die¡¯


    I wiped a bit of moist in my eyes remembering my family and resolutely thought ¡®I need to survive!¡¯, No! ¡®I will survive!¡¯.


    The countdown is closing and I can¡¯t help but grit my teeth and clenched my hands while feeling angry and afraid on the current situation.

    Flashing lights cover our body and one by one we disappeared.


    I opened my eyes and sun rays flashed to my eyes, I covered my eyes and observe my surroundings seriously.


    I quickly look around to see if I¡¯m alone and to know what kind of place I¡¯m in.


    I quickly saw Sophia and them not too far away with me.


    Looks like the place we¡¯re in is a huge forest since I can see the ground is too flat it probably isn¡¯t a mountain forest.


    Something is strange about this forest, I can¡¯t pinpoint what it is but I can sense it¡¯s dangerous.


    I walked slowly to Sophia and them who are gathered and looking at me , I cautiously walk to them since we don¡¯t know anything about this place,I better be careful.


    I froze not too far away from them and widened my eyes because I can see a large ferocious lion-like beast who is at least 3x bigger than a normal lion sneaking behind them!


    Sophia and them saw my strange actions and tilted their head but quickly look behind feeling something are not right.


    I shouted hoarsely.


    ¡°RUUUUUUUUUN!¡±


    The beast knew he got found out sneaking and roared.


    ¡°ROAAAAAAAAAAR!¡±


    That roar almost broke my eardrums but I still started running quickly.


    I ran really frightened while looking quickly behind and in front of me repeatedly, to look behind at the people with me and to see dangers up ahead.


    I saw them running away to different places and slightly impressed that they thought a plan before running.


    I also ran my own way really quickly while gasping for breath.


    The only downside of this plan is the ferocious beast can still chase 1 person out of 6 including me.


    While hoping the beast won''t chase after me, I ran quicker and faintly saw Ordinary #2''s figure from far away getting a meat chunk out of his chest because of the large sharp teeth and strong jaw of that fucking 3x lion-like beast


    I was shocked to see Ordinary #2 getting dragged from the mouth of that ferocious beast while shouting desperately.


    ¡°HE-HEEELP!¡±


    ¡°SO-SOMEONE PL-PLEASE!¡±


    ¡°AAAGGGGGHHHH¡±


    ¡®I¡¯m sorry. I¡¯m not a hero.¡¯ I thought sadly. ¡® I don¡¯t have the capability to help you to survive when I¡¯m also desperately running for my life.¡¯


    When I knew I¡¯m far enough and I can¡¯t hear the beast¡¯s running footsteps.


    I sighed in relief and thought I¡¯m probably not in danger for the meantime.


    I saw a huge boulder near me and I can''t help but sat on it, gasping for breath because of that heavy running while thinking I should''ve exercise more to have more stamina.


    I was starting to relax when the huge bolder I''m sitting on suddenly moved!
