《Re:Armor》 Arc 1 Ch.00 Prologue Prologue 1 Hi my name is Yang and i am just your average poor college student working hard to make ends meet and try not to be a burden to my parents. every day was really hard but life was enjoyable with all my classes that i took and the interesting things that i could still learn from this higher end College/Academy that I Managed to get a scholorship to. after going through 24 years of hardship I am finally getting the freedom to do what i like the most! hahahaha "sigh" until I died. hmm you wonder how i died? well it was during my 4th college year when I was going to graduate and on my way home to my splendid fort..... ok who am i kidding my apartment near the corner of the college and while walking home with a bag of food for dinner I see a child running past me and stop at the crossroad with a big grin on his face. Yea this kid looked excited about some thing and kept tapping his foot like he was going to rush out on the road any second. Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. so while i was about to pass by him i noticed a car ahead speeding toward our direction with a lot of police cars on its tail and that was not a good sign at all. The car was coming ever closer and then i turned to run but was stuck seeing the kid frozen in place. The next thing I knew was that I dropped my bag of food and quick carried the boy in my arm and grit my teeth for the impact cause by then the car was already about to collide into us. The next thing i noticed is that the world is spinning around me and i struggled to keep the boy from getting hit by the car and asphalt. after rolling around a couple of times to a stop i felt pain throughout my body and i was grimacing to the pain. after that i moved my head to make sure that the boy was fine and saw that he was still breathing and finally relaxed myself even though it was still painful. suddenly my vision was going hazy and then pitch black. Arc 1 Ch.01 Prologue 2 [edit] Prologue 2 [Yang PoV] [Yang] "Uggh where am i and why is it so dark?" "hello is there anyone around here?!" silence "..........." "damn it why cant i move my body at all?" "hmm am i dead? cause for sure i died from getting hit by that car." "as I recall, I was just on my way home saw the kid and then that damn car came barreling down on us." "I wonder if that boy is ok cause I hope i cushion the damage well and I really really dont want to be sent into Hell at all." Just then Yang sees a light shining in front of him "ohh Finally someone turn on the lights!" while thinking that the light instantly engulf his entire view. "Wha why is it suddenly so bright!" suddenly in front of him he sees a little girl staring at him and a young man beside her talking about something with some sciency person next to him. "hmm where am I and why am I in some kind of Transparent like glass material!" observing around him he notices that he is in some kind of sci-fi lab that closely reminded him of a manga with a certain mad scientist in it. after a while of observing his surrounding he decided to talk to the people in front of him until he notice a strange peculiarity about them. (AN Edit: I know that I Suck at drawing but here is just an idea of how the ancient ruin lab will look like) the young girl with blazing long red hair and wearing a white one piece and holding a doll in her arms had long ears and to his observation it looked like elven ears. turning to the man beside her, he is wearing a robe of some sort that is some thing of a high noble with wisdom, also having those same ears as well as the science guy who looks like a professor with his glasses on. while observing the men he notice that they were speaking in another language that is not english at all and assumed that it may be elvish. while staring at them men and trying to listen suddenly a window of some kind pops up in front of him.

[Science Elf] "well it needs a Soul to fuse into the core in order to activate" [Noble???] "and what does this have to do with the problem?!" [Science Elf] "Well Sir it is a big problem cause if installed as is then it would be just a useless doll that will only be able to fight in Hand to hand combat and wont be able to use weapons at all." "''ahem'' and will not be able to use magic at all" [Noble???] "hmm, then we will need to acquire a soul for it.'' the man pondered for a bit until he thought of something. "how will the core unit activate once it acquires a soul?" {Science Elf] "oh it will just start to glow a faint blue and begin pulsing with mana" then the young elven girl tugged who may have been the father. [Noble???] "What is it dear?" puzzled the noble and scientist turn toward the girl. [Girl??] "the core thing looks like its active" pointing at me for some reason. then the other two turned toward me as well and then the science guy suddenly drop his mouth open in surpise for some reason and the noble guy"s eyes widen in shock. seeing the surprise look on them the other workers turn to look as well and ended the same as if they are seeing something mysterious. [Yang] "why are they all looking at me as if I am some sort of Item" Arc 1 Ch.02 The Metal Heart The Metal Heart [Little Girl''s POV] Hello my name is Aria Light a twelve year old ''Priestess of the Moon'' for my people of the Elves and I am here today with my father to see how much our scholars are able to learn about our Ancient Ancestors from beyond the stars who once lived in these ruins or labyrinth. Our Warden Rangers have been combing these ruins ever since the Ruins were discovered 4,000 years ago even before I was born. I always wondered why was it that our ancient forest was where we elves appeared in the world and found out that these ruins have similarity to all of our legends and customs of the "Moon Goddess" who guided our people to this land and forest. Even our Religion of being one with the forest and respecting the spirits are shown in "Ancient Hieroglyph Carvings" on the walls as I pass by with my father who is the Great Elder of our people who has fought against many threats of Human, Dwarf, Dragon, Dark Elf, Demons, Beast-men, Demi-Humans, as well as Slavers for a very long time. Yes Slavers are prone to attack us because we are a very rare race that are really beautiful and fetch a high price by many of those in power in the world. Now you are wondering why is it that my 2,000 year old father and I have come down here now are you? Well as my father thought about my safety after a worse case scenario that he nearly died to an invading army. he became determined of enforce our Rangers with Warriors so that we may be able to repel more threats and better isolate ourselves from the whole world and due to our pride we tend to not accept alliances easily. That is why father has been looking into "Armored Golem" sorcery that our Ancient Ancestors used frequently to fight off their civilizations threat that for some reason caused our Ancient Civilization to Collapse to how we are today. when we finally passed through the labyrinth of a floor we came upon a door. My father lifted up his right hand and muttered a few Ancient Words that we still possess and then the door opened. entering the room I noticed that were were in a huge room that looked like a wizards room with many tube like things containing whatever materials were inside them. after advancing into the room a bit my father and I came upon a tube containing a human shaped heart that was made with flesh and metal. Staring at it curiously, my father spoke to the head scholar who was researching something about this heart and calling it a " Core Unit." Looking at it for a while I noticed that it was emitting a faint blue and a type of small light appeared in front as if it just woken up. Upon further observation I noticed that the light is moving around as if looking at its surroundings and then coming back to me. I wondered why was it like that until I overheard daddy and the head scholar mentioning how this core unit was suppose to activate with a soul. Thinking about it that was a bit scary and interesting because I have heard of "Soul Magic" that can ripe out your mana as well as your soul from your body. Then I slightly tugged my daddies robe and he asked wondering why I tugged. A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. [Aria] "The core thing looks like its active." while pointing at it after I said that and looking at the core unit again with wonder. [Great Elder POV] I never thought that the core would be active at all, while listening to our head scholar about having to activate this "Ancient Golem Heart" that was named core unit in our ancient language. After my daughter tugged my robes and pointed it out. we all noticed that it had became active and was surprise cause the scholar have never ever gotten the damn thing active before and for the record his mumbo jumbo about how it activates are from him and his apprentices attempt to translate the ancient language at all. We only have been successful in having our friendly earth and wind spirits possessing our makeshift golem armors that we reverse engineered from these ancient broken armors in the ruins. Hell even the battered armors in this room were not even working at all when we found them. Only this Golem Heart dubbed Core Unit is in perfect condition preserved in this tube like magical device. I know that this particular thing can be used to create a powerful golem that will be able to protect my sweet little angel. Seeing that it has become active and snapping out of my shock I turned to our head scholar and spoke. "Can you now install it into one of our armored golems?'' snapping back to his senses from my words he said "we can now" tilting his head with a puzzled look of thought. [Aria] after my father asked the head scholar they began working on moving the core unit carefully with magic to its suppose body is at ready for battle or start up. Moving from the wizard like room we went to one of the rooms on the upper or more like transfer from floor 5 to floor 2 where father had a specially made armor lying on a makeshift alter for infusing spirits with armored golems. "Father isnt this armor simple? and it is only chain armor with leather bits to hold it together and the helmet isnt even elven!?" [Great Elder] "child this armor is made with the best material that we have available and has been scribed and etched with runes so that it will be powerful." "the helmet is of human make and is there so that if you should travel outside of our forest, it will make it appear as if an experienced soldier is protecting his noble lady." [Aria] "but father it would just look like a soldier and how is it going to be incorporated into the armor anyway?" [Science Elf] " ah let me answer that" "ahem, the core will just be put on top of the golems chest and then it will just fuse with the armor and become its heart without having to use a ceremony to summon and ask the wind and earth spirits to enter the other golems." [Aria] "hmmm, then will it talk as well?" [Science Elf] "we will find out if it will once it has completely fused with the armor." Arc 1 Ch.03 The New Body and Name Authors Note; notice that yang still does not know much about the world that he lives in and that he still does not understand their language well enough at all. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The New Body and Name [Yangs POV] after the elves finished talking they all began to move as one and somehow got me out of the tube like thing to only find out that I dont have a body at all. This depressed me badly and was wondering what they were going to do to me since I am just a soul, I think? while being moved in the air with some kind of magic and yes I have accepted that I am in some kind of magical world but after moving out of the room with the help of elves, I notice that I am in a hallway that is really old like the ancient Egyptian pyramids that I read about in my history classes when I was still in my world. I then attempted to try and communicate to the elves. "hey can you guys hear me?" no response or reaction "hmm I guess I cant speak to them because i dont have vocal cords at all." "oh well might as well observe my surroundings while they are taking me to wherever that is" deciding on a course of action yang just kept on observing his surrounding and the elves to try and understand what they are saying until a pop up appears again.

"whoa I was only half expecting it to be a total joke and here is the status screen but why are there so many ??? marks? while pondering about his status yang notice that they are in a room full of light and was observing around until he heard the little girl talking to the science professor that he recognized. [Little girl??] "hmmm, then will it talk as well?" The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. [Science guy?] "we will find out if it will once it has completely fused with the armor." then he notice that he is above some sort of armor that is in reminisce of a Mid Evil armor that is just a chain shirt with long sleeves and looks like one of those old cowboy long coats including with Leather boots, gloves, belt, and chest piece with a hood attached. He also sees a bronze helmet that looks like a roman centurion helmet but without the feathery thing protruding off it and has a leather mask sewn inside the helmet. [Yang] "hmm so that the armor that I will be wearing I think but how since i dont have a body at all anyway?" then he was slowly placed on top of the set of armor which startled him a bit as if his body suddenly started to melt on top of it. "what the why is it suddenly going dark!" after a while since yang started to fuse with his new body. [Aria Pov] "is that how the Heart is suppose to fuse with the armor?" asking the elven scholar. [Science Elf] "no I dont know how the Heart works at all and this is the first time I am seeing it fuse with an armor at all" [Aria] "hmm, I hope that it is a good armor and will treat me well as if its an elder brother" smiling with anticipation. [Great Elder] "I hope so as well cause it will be staying with you for a very long time" knowing that armors cannot function that well due to the fact that the worlds civilization is still in their Mid-Evil level with some magical advancement of enchantment. suddenly the armor started to glow blue and the parts start to connect with each other and they start to hear sounds as if bones are cracking and connecting with each other and chains of mana starting to appear and pulling a few unfortunate monsters into the armor with sounds of screeching and bone crushing. [Great Elder] "this has not happen before and I have a bad feeling about this armor" saying that he moves his daughter behind him and orders his guards to be ready for anything cause they to know that armored golems do not absorb monsters to create a body from their experience with spirits. [Aria] why is the armor reacting like that? usually it would just inflate like a leather pouch being filled with water and it should be with mana like what my father said but this is weird so I asked the scholar while behind my father. "why is the armor sucking in monsters?" startled a bit the Science Elf replies [Science Elf] "it could be that the soul that the heart absorbed was a demon" now it was the girls turn to be startled because demons are the most crual and vile race before humans that have come and tried to enslave countless number of people in the world. With a bit of fear in her eyes she quietly peeked to look at the armor when there were red beads of light appearing where the eyes are suppose to be. The armor then start to move and sat up from where it was lying down on the alter. [Yang Pov] "uggh what the heck happen" moving his hand up to his head as if he has a headache and then focusing his eyes he notice that now he can move his body. "huh I can move my body now" looking around the room he noticed that the elves around the room were weary now and seem to be ready to pounce on him like he was some sort of monster so he slowly raised his hand up and attempted to talk to them. "I am not an enemy do not attack me" in a voice a bit deep from his usual voice and to his surpirse. scanning around until he sees the elder he kept his eyes locked into the importent mans eyes to somehow show that he isn''t dangerous. [Great Elder Pov] I dont know why but the armor spoke fluent elvish and lifted its arms up and kept on looking at me as if waiting for something. seeing that it has not move at all afterwords I attempted to communicate with this armor with the unknown soul. "who or what are you and why can you speak our language!?" speaking with command in my voice and hiding my daughter from this armor that was a shiny color of steel with patches of brown from the leather which all turned into black with some runes glowing red. the armor then reply to my question. [Yang] "I do not have a name and have just been observing and listening your conversation to learn about your language after awakening in your room of glass tubes and the like" Shocked by the thought that the armor learn of our language just from observing and listening, I ask. [Great Elder] "why is it that you awoke now? and how dangerous are you?" after asking the question the armor moved int o a thinking pose and thought for a while before replying. [Yang] "I do not know, and I wont be a danger to you or your people as well since I have just been born." after the back and forth exchange the little girl that was hiding behind the elder came forward and spoke to the armor. This action greatly surprised her fellow elves in the room because there was still the danger that the new armored golem may attack her. [Aria Pov] seeing the back and forth exchange between the armor made me think that we may need to stop being hostile to it or else we would be in danger so I came forth to talk to it. "Hello my name is Aria Light the daughter of Arn High Chief of our people" I spoke to the armor introducing myself first since it was impolite to do so and it seems that what ever inhabited the armor did not know its name. Noticing the young girl and hearing her name the armor got up and kneeled in front of her as if she is someone important creating another shock from the elves. [Yang] "Greetings Aria it is an honor to meet you and I apologize that I do not have a name so please name me" moving and thinking that it is best not to agitate the elves and to not mention his name so that they may think that he is something else and not someone from another world. Surprised by how polite the armor was. she thought that it may be a great spirit and decided that naming it would be better than calling it armor or golem. [Aria] "I see, Then from henceforth you shall be called Arc." Arc 1 Ch.04 Danger and New Power Authors note; those of you wondering about what monster he absorbed i will leave it to your imagination onto what type of monsters will still survive from being cleared out in a dungeon. Authors Note 2; his name will now be changed from "Yang" to "Arc". --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Danger and New Power [Arc PoV] alright I have a new name and a body to boot. It also looks like I will have to try to be on friendly terms with the elves to get information on the world that I am presently in. I think that it would be better to get them to assume me to be some unknown or ancient spirit that was sealed away to get information on current events. "Thank you for naming me for I have been sealed for so long" Startled by what Arc said the surrounding elves relaxed for a bit except one. [Science Elf] "sealed!? then that means that you are an ancient soul!" [Arc] "yes, I believe I am." [Elder Chief Arn] "why is that?" in an interrogating mood. [Arc] "Cause I have faint memories of being sealed." replying with a lie. [''Aria] "Father why dont you calm down and isnt this what you wanted anyway?" [Elder Chief Arn] "I suppose you are right and it is best for us to go now before the rats attack again." suddenly as if on cue a giant rats that was hidden in the walled ceiling burst out attacking every elf in the vicinity. [Guard 1] "Chief please run away while we hold these Monsters at bay." [Guard 2] "We will not let them get to our Priestess and Chief!" [Guard Captain?] "To battle Men we will protect our hope no matter what!" [Guard 3] "There are to many of the bastards! [Guard 4] "Mages get away from here and protect the Chief and our Priestess." [Scholars] "We will Protect them with our lives so dont you all dare die as well!" [Guard Captain?] "I Know already so get them out of this place already!" [Aria] "Father!"Clinging to her father. [Elder Chief Arn] "stay behind me dear this is too dangerous for you" drawing out his sword to protect Aria. Arc seeing the chaotic battle in the room was stunned from seeing so many of them and attempted to help the elves even without a weapon. [Arc] "damn rats will be the plague to them so how the heck am I suppose to kill them!" suddenly a window pop up in front of him.

[Arc] I dont know whats going on but I will use this skill! "Activate Absorb!" suddenly mana chains with stake at the ends appear flying from my body towards all the rat monster in the surroundings. they wrap around the monsters before piercing their hearts and then started pulling them to my body. the next thing that happens is that the monsters started to cry out or howl like it was some sort of signal. "not good" "hey all of you get out of this room immediately now!" shocked by what Arc said and understanding that something dangerous was happening they all fled through the corridor leaving arc behind holding back the monsters. "now I should not have any hindrance to test out my body and powers." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Elves PoV] After struggling to get outside of the ruins the elves rest for a couple of hours and attempt to prepare themselves for battle while waiting for reinforcements from their village. [Aria] "NOOOO!" crying while hitting her father with her little fists. [Elder Chief Arn] "It cannot be helped dear we cannot hope to fight off a horde of rats" angry with himself at not realizing that there were Rat scouts hidden in the walls when the armor arc had absorbed some of them when fusing. [Aria] "but but he was the first to treat me as a normal person and not some god" while still crying. [Guard Captain} "do not worry Priestess he is an armored golem there is no chance for him to be defeated." trying to cheer up the little girl somewhat [Guard 1} "I agree with the Captain." [Guard 2] "I as well" [Guard 3] "and he had that ability to chain those monsters as well so he should be fine." [Guard Captain} "Report how many casualties did we take during the battle and escape!?" speaking to the 2nd guard [Guard 2] "sir, we lost 1 Guard, 3 Mages, as well as most of our scholars that were in the room!" [Guard Captain] "Men once you are rested I will need you to keep watch of the entrance until reinforcements arrive" giving out orders to his surviving men. [Guard Captain] "Chief and your Holiness please return to the village for your saf--." Imploring his Great Chief as well as his daughter to return to the safety of the village when he is interrupted by one of his men. [Guard 1] "Captain! Something is approaching from the entrance!" readying his sword. [Guard 2] "oh great spirit of earth grant me the power to protect my fellow elves" casting a buffing spell to his fellow guards. [Guard 3] "Ive got target!" aiming his bow into the entrance. [Great Elder Arn] " Get behind me dear" moving his daughter behind him while readying himself with his staff. they wait while hearing heavy footsteps coming from deep within the ruins. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Arn Pov] after the elves left in a hurry. "hmmm I am starting to get the hang of this body" clenching his hand into a fist and punching the rats that have flood into the room while dodging them. The many rats that were chained had already been pulled into his body and he hears the death cries of the monsters when their whole body are being ripped and crush to shreds inside. "dammit I can''t use this ability indefinitely so I may need a weapon to fight back!" looking around he sees one of the guards that died from the surprise attack from the monsters. "he has a sword and a crossbow with bolts which may prove to be helpful." dodging while edging to the body Arc just barly manage to get the sword when a unique rat appeared and blocked his way. The monster was bipedal equipped with an iron sword, leather chest, wooden shield, and a leather helmet that does not seem to fit on its head.the monster used its sword and attack arc hitting him in the chest a couple of times. "hmm this beast is stronger than the others since it can use weapons and how am i going to get that sword now?" thinking for a bit while dodging Arc decided to try out something with his ability in a sink or swim decision. "I will have to gamble with the last of my MP in order to kill all of these monsters" dodging the sword and shield bash while waiting for the right opening he used his ability "Target Sword Absorb" shouting out, two mana chain materialize instantly and wrap around the sword from the dead guard as well as the one from the humanoid rat. struggling in a tug of war with the rat while the chain pulling the other sword finally reach him. Arc absorbed the sword from the guard and then suddenly a bright light shined from his body blinding all the monsters in the vicinity.

"Yes!" then the sword appeared at my hip to the left and then I drew the sword as if I am a samurai and attack with an IAI Strike. "IAI Slash" with the slash I was able to cut its hand holding the sword and then absorbed the weapon leaving it with only its shield.

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience. "Yes" the sword then appeared on the other side and drew the sword as well dual wielding both of them. "now its time for payback!" with a shout then the furry plague started to shack as if they are afraid of me including the injured humanoid. I leap up above them and then started to hack and slash the humanoid monster until the shield broke and was impaled. after the monster died I turned to what was left of the rats and attacked them cutting of their fore arms, heads, tails , hind legs until there were only 5 of them left. noticing that my may has recharged to a decent amount I absorbed the last of them. "this fight was truly exhausting" then a ping sounded with a pop up.

once again Arc was surprised by how his status went up. "ok now lets head out to meet the elves" walking out of the alter room into the hallway Arc walked through the hallway into another room where he found some scrap metel on the ground which looked like the remains of an armor that is a bit brittle. thinking that finding equipment to add to his body may not be a bad idea he searched the room until he found a pair of ancient pauldrons that are in reminisce of the roman army shoulder guards. Examining it for a while a window poped up.

Ancient Golem armor Pauldrons that were used in a battle to protect the ruins in ancient time. Now it only remains here for whoever shall use them.
"hoh I wonder if I can Equip them?" Taking the pauldron Arc put them onto his shoulders when suddenly an intense pain occurred after a while he notice that his skill Absorb has been activated. Many Mana chains spread out in the room and pierced into many of the remains of Ancient golems and started to assemble them onto his body. looking at his right sleeves for the first time he notice that the armor was organic as if alive while still metalish . After a while of absorbing many bits of metal he notice that his form has changed from looking at his reflection in of of the remain tubes in the room. Arc no longer appeared as a chain shirt with long sleeves and looks like one of those old cowboy long coats including with Leather boots, gloves, belt, and chest piece with a hood attached, and a bronze helmet that looks like a roman centurion helmet. What he sees now is an upgrade from before with the pauldrons, plated leather gloves, plated boots, scale has been added to the leather chest part and the helmet''s shape has been changed slightly with a visor over the eyes making the glow look like slits. "huh?" "Is this me?" Shocked by the changes of just absorbing pieces of metal, his body changed form and to his understanding it could be that by absorbing armor or things regarded as armor his form will change accordingly. Thinking that he could tweak his appearance a bit Arc decided to test out his theory by modifying his Common short Sword to become a smaller version of the elven sword that looks like single edge sword that looks like a mix of a katana and a double edge sword.. with a little bit of concentration the sword started to reshape itself little by little until it cracked and shattered into pieces. "whoa" shocked by what he did Arc decided to not test out his appearance changing abilities yet until he is sure on how to control his powers better. With that settled Arc left the room into another hallway and followed it until he read some stairs heading upward. seeing that there were no traps at all he just walked up the stairs into a hallway with a bright light at the end with the sound of nature and voices. Arc 1 Ch.05 Rescue pt.1 Authors Note; Sorry everyone i tried to post this chapter yesterday but a black out occurred just when i was about to post it so here it is! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rescue [Arc Pov] when exiting the ruins Arc notice many body lying around cut and torn apart by magic. observing his surroundings he notices that a few of them were elves with missing limbs and that they were pierced with a crystal like lance. searching around Arc notice movement behind a couple of bushes so he drew his elven sword and approach it. when he was about a couple of feet a way arc spoke to see if it was an elf. [Arc] "Identify yourself or I will attack!" the bushes shake a bit until a voice can be heard. [Aria] "Arc?" saying his name the young elven elven priestess gets up from the bushes with two others that were hiding with her. [Arc] "what happen here?" sheathing his sword." aria then ran to arc and then hugged him at his stomach while crying loudly. [Aria] "Waaaa Uwaaa, Father (sob) Father (sob) is gone!" then the guard that was with her told arc what happen. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ [Elven PoV Flashback] [Guard 3] I fired and fired my arrows until there were no more and charged with my sword to attack the vile beasts until the captain ordered me back. [Guard Captain] "Chief Please go hide with our priestess before it is too late" imploring their chief to not fight. [Great Elder Arn] "No" refusing to hide " have one of your men to hide with my daughter and Head Scholar while we buy time." Ordering the captain. seeing that the elder would not leave the captain reluctantly ordered his 3rd guard to protect their priestess and scholar. [Guard 3] "what but-" trying to return to battle [Guard Captain] "enough just do as you are ordered there is no time" leaving the stuttering guard behind to join the battle. [Great Elder] " please protect my daughter our priestess from harm as well as my dear old friend Head Scholar." heading also to the battle at the entrance of the ruins. [Guard 3] "dammit" grabbing the priestess hand he dragged her to one of the best places to hide nearby. [Head Scholar] "these bushes will do, I have a spell that should be able to mask our presence from these monsters" agreeing together with the soldier the scholar grabbed a small towel from his bag and a vial of some sort and doused it. He then put the doused towel to the priestess mouth and held it their until she fell asleep. [Guard 3] "I agree that this would be best for her." carrying the priestess he moves into the bushes to hide them. [Head Scholar] "Oh great spirit of Earth and Wind please protect us from the eyes of our enemy" chanting a spell. then the wind started blowing around the bush and the plant began to grow bigger to encase the three in a sort of camouflage protection. The shouts and roars at the entrance could still be heard of and several explosions were heard as well. The sound of battle raged on for hours until they fell asleep. when they woke up they started hearing heavy footsteps coming from the ruins entrance until it stopped. fearing that it could be another beast he readied his weapon until he heard a familiar voice. Then they relaxed and left the safety of the bushes to meet the Armored Golem in front of them. [End Flashback] ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ [Arc Pov] "I see so that is what happen while I was fighting the Horde of Rats" while patting patting Arias back. [Arc] "Aria I dont think that your father is dead." [Aria] "Fue"Surprised by what Arc Said [Arc] "I did not see your fathers body among the corpses so it is highly possible that he survived." [Aria] "RR Realy!?" [Arc] " yes and I think there is a chance that he was dragged back into the ruins" [Scholar] "IS that true!?" in a sharp tone [Arc] " yes cause there are signs that something was dragged into the ruins so I will need to search within the ruins" [Guard 3] "Very well we will hide here until reinforcements arrive to help hold the entrance." Arc nodded to the guard and knelled down to speak to Aria. [Arc] "Aria stay safe and I will definitely bring back your father ok?" [Aria] "Uhn" she nodded while wiping here tears away. after that Arc entered the ruins again and went down the stairs to the 2nd floor or basement that he emerged from. searching around the second floor he found the stairs to the third and proceeded down. when he was in the third floor he found a few elven corpses and many monsters as well that have died. seeing the state of the floor he unsheathed his sword and proceed his search for the 3nd floor stairs that would lead to the 4rd floor. while following the trail of dead bodies of rats and elves he picked up and absorbed any weapon he could find find in his surroundings in the case that his current weapon''s endurance reach zero. after finding the next set of stair Arc proceeded to follow down and notice that there were scratch like markings of a human being dragged on the ground and continue forward. encountering dark wolves and ogres guarding the way down into the 5th floor. Arc sneaked in an attempt to attack from behind. when they looked at another direction Arc had equipped the throwing knives that he have gathered from the fallen elves and threw them at the wolves killing them and then proceeded to charge the two Ogres pained by a dagger striking into each of their neck. With a Slash of his sword he cut off the nearest ogres head off and then attacked the next one. what Arc failed to notice is that the ogre had thrown a black like crystal lance at him. the lance then hit through Arcs left arm when he attempted to dodge. The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. Arc was in a stalemate against said ogre and muttered to himself. [Arc] "damn this one looks like an ogre mage!" [Arc] "hmm maybe i should use Identify to see what type it is" muttering his thought since there was no one around. [Arc] "Identify" Arc then cast Identify on the Monster in front of him.

Whoa is that monster really that strong? thinking to himself as they circle each other.then arc thought about trying to absorb the ogre as well to see if he can kill it like the rats that he has fought before. he then prepares himself to attack or defend holding the sword. [Arc] "Activate Absorb Target Ogre" chanting his ability many mana chains appear from his body and fly toward the Ogre Mage Guardian wrapping around its body. The Ogre then cast its crystal dark lances at arc trying to kill him. throughout the tug of war with the blue chains arc only managed to parry half of the lances until his sword shattered to many pieces from the punishment it received. [Arc] "dammit no wonder its level 105!" arc grunted whiled dodging with some of his limbs being pierced and noticing that his wounds are oozing out a type of green liquid. after a couple of hours trying to dodge while absorbing the ogre suddenly collapse from exhaustion. when i saw that i immediately equipped a new sword and stabbed the ogre in the neck effectively killing it. after a while the ogres body is pulled into my body and started hearing the cracking of bones and ripping meat. while absorbing the monster i noticed that my wounds that were oozing out green liquid started heal and close up. the dark crystal lances that were impaling my body just fell with the parts that were in me gone. [Arc] "hmm so now that my absorbing skill has level up it now heal wounds as well if they can be called wounds at all." noticing that some of the metallic armor pieces from his body are missing. "Maybe some of the armor pieces are used to close the wounds as well?" mumbling to himself until a lot of windows pop up in front of him.

bewildered by how much he learned arc just closed the windows and proceeded down the stairs. Entering the 5th floor he scoured the floor room by room killing a few groups of rats in process until finally he is in front of a gate like structure that has a bent bolt like metal plank on the ground as if it was forced open. observing the surroundings he sees a wooden sign with elvish carving saying (WARNING sealed Alter room of Death Do Not Unseal the gate by order of Head Scholar). [Arc] "hmm so this is where they went to and the door looks ominous in a way." after saying that he pushed the gate open. Arc 1 Ch.06 Rescue pt 2 (Edit) Authors Note; I Know that we want the mc to be able to use magic but he does not no how to use them yet and i am planning to let him get a feel for magic since he just came into this new world. Author Note 2; I am trying to not rush the story as well so that we can have some character development in some chapters and not ruin the story. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rescue pt.2 In an alter room deep within the ruins there lay an elven man upon the alter with his limbs chained. surrounding the alter there are thousands of monsters that are waiting for something. in the center close to the alter a succubus is preparing a ritual of some kind while killing and draining a few of the apprentice scholars that were unfortunate enough to be captured. Standing nearby is a large minotaur that is drenched in blood from battle with a little smudge part from when he has acquired the elven chief. within the room you could hear chanting for their Demon God Dia of Oblivion. while chanting and preparing to sacrifice a high elf they were abruptly interrupted by sound of the alter gate opening. hearing the sound the succubus stood up and faced the gate to speak. [Succubus] "Who Dares Interrupt our Summoning!?" all the monsters including the Minotaur face the open gate to see a human half armored in leather, chain, and in plate. the man then enters into the room like he was walking in relaxation and then stop just before the stair to the alter. the minotaur began to be weary when the man started to observe his surrounding with his hand toward his sword. The succubus then commands again. [Succubus] "How Dare you Interrupt our Summoning!?" the man then shouts [Arc] "Death!" the man then threw his daggers at the succubus. several of them hit while others missed their mark causing her to become furious. she then orders her minions and minotaur to not interfere and retaliated against the armored man. magically materializing her blade she hack and slash without much technique that the man could read her like a book. continuously dodging her sword he countered her and kept on hitting her opening that when they had taken up distance from each other she was the only one with major wounds. the battle was a stalemate though do to the fact that she continued to regenerate her wounds while at the same time there was never even a hit on arc. after a while of sizing each other up she charged at arc aiming for his heart and when she hit his chest the sword did not go through the armor. taking his chance Arc used his absorb ability in point blank range. many mana chains appeared and chained the shocked succubus preventing her from moving which allowed Arc to behead her with his sword. shocked by the development of the battle the minotaur roared loudly and then charged at the armored man. Arc was able to hastily absorb the succubus body and then parried the minotaurs chained bracers that were being swung at him. He also notice that several of the monsters in the surroundings were also charging at him so he deflected as many of the chains attack toward them to reduce the amount of weak monsters. [Great Elder Arn Pov] "uhg, what happen to me" as if awakening from a day of extremely hard work he attempts to move his hand to suddenly notice something wrong. "huh? w what is going on?" feeling the restraints on his body he move his head to search for why and sees that he has been chain to wherever he is and then hearing a war cry to his left. Arn turns his head to see a battle going on between an armored golem that he recognaze and the monster that captured him at the ruins entrance. not only that, he sees almost a thousand of monsters charging into the battle only to be laid waist one by one from the battle between Arc and the Minotaur. seeing the golem fight Arn thought that he may need to somehow get himself out before the monsters will come to kill him so he desperately searched around with his eyes to find a way to remove the chains restraining him. he notices that the hing for his left arms chain is not stead fast so he pulls the chain as much and hard as he can. with renew hope that he would not be a burden to the golem fighting he pulls the chain even when his body was screaming out in pain. [Arc Pov] after killing the succubus arc attempts to kill of all the monsters so that he could save the chief without hassle. during the fight with the minotaur arc manage to somehow create a fear for the thousands of monsters in the room that should they enter the batttle they will be killed by him or the minotaur. while parrying and countering the minotaurs attack he noticed that the minotaur was emitting faint glows on certain areas of its body. taking a gamble arc attacks the glowing part of its knee. stabbing through the knee and becoming unable to pull out the sword arc had to let go of the weapon and equip another sword to fight. arc then hears a loud cry from the minotaur when it falls on its wounded knee showing that the glowing spots were actual weak points. seeing the effectiveness of his attack arc then press on the attack targeting the areas that were glowing like the waist, fingers, ears, eyes, neck, and backbone. the minotaur then started to become weaker and weaker from the constant attack until it collapse onto the floor from blood loss. Arc then use his cracked dull sword to stab into the Powerful monsters neck severing the bones. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. Arc then let go of his battered sword and equipped another sword. observing around himself he sees that the monsters are afraid of him. Arc then move toward the stairs climbing up until he reached the alter. he sees that the elder managed to free on of his hands but he could not remove the others. arc then proceeded to cut the chains off while keeping watch from the monsters around him. once he was able to free the elder he carefully help carried the elder to the gate entrance. when almost crossing the gate into the hallway. the elder was about to say something until an intense pressure of darkness was felt. Arc noticing the pressure at the same time looks behind him to see a black vortex with red eyes glowing powerfully and was observing them. a deep voice then resounded throughout the alter room causing black lightning to appear and started to disintegrate all of the monsters that were left in the room. The voice then proceeded to speak to arc. [Red Eye Vortex] "Puny human you may have stopped the summoning ritual but you have only touched the surface of our great plan." [Great Chief Arn] "Gasp, the Demon God Baal" Arc gently puts arn down behind the gate and equip a bow with a quiver of arrows that he collected from the remains of the guards. he then proceeded to nock the arrow into the bow and aim in between the glowing reed eyes and concentrated to see if he could infuse the arrow with mana. [Demon God Baal] "HAHAHAHAHAHA puny human you will never be able to harm me!" smirking Arc then fires the arrow at the vortex and kept on firing until he had no more arrow in his quiver.. [Demon God Baal] "HAHAHAH Puny human your race will never be able to destroy us HAAHAHAHAHAHA!" after those last word the vortex vanish and the pressure disappears. Arc then proceed to where the elder is and help him up with an arm over his shoulders. [Arc] "are you okay?" asking the elder sincerely. [Great Elder Arn] "oh I am fine just exhausted from the battle and a couple of broken bones but none to serious." replying to arc''s question with a bit of grimace.. [Arc] "that is not good, your daughter is waiting for you to come back" hearing that the man begins to cry while being helped through the ruins. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Aria Pov] Our Rangers arrived two days after arc went back into the ruins. the troops set up a defensive perimeter near the entrance and extended to the camp that we are in now that is a total of 8 meters. I and the other two have been staying in the camp hoping for news that arc has rescued my father. some of the rangers implored me to return to our city but i refuse to until i see my father. we were waiting for a couple hours until there was a commotion coming from the edge of camp. many of the rangers started spreading the news that the chief is back alive and that a black armored man was bringing him toward the camp. upon hearing the news the three of us got up from the table in the tent and ran towards where the commotion is. pushing through the soldiers cheering and shouting I weaved through the bodies until i break through them to see my father with a couple of cuts and bruised being helped by arc. My father just smiled at me and said "I''m back dear." hearing that i ran up to father and hugged him crying loudly. [Aria] "waaaa, father father father uwaaaa!!"it has been so long since i cried so hard. [Head Scholar] "Its great that you are back safe and sound" with tears in his yes [Arc] kneeling down toward Aria."see I kept my word that i would bring your father back." with a hint of happiness in his voice. [Aria] "unh"I then proceeded to hug Arc with a smile and tears still falling from my eyes. The rangers that were escorting us were only a patrol group stationed at a nearby village outpost. when they received an SOS from their chief they immediately set off with 75 percent of their personnel to protect them. when they arrived on site at the entrance to the ruins they only found their priestess and two others. the rangers listened to what happened from the three of them and then set to prepare for a wave of monsters should it happen again. after setting up the encampment the rangers were just about to enter the ruins when an armored human appeared carrying the Great Elder with him out of the entrance. they were shocked speechless on how the armored man appeared with monster blood all over its body that they thought it was an undead. that was when the elder spoke to them that it is fine and that he is a golem that was newly brought into the world. afterwords they escorted the golem and Elder to where the priestess was and spread the news that the elder was fine. once neared the camp the men then came to cheer and see the golem in question that saved their elder. they then saw their little priestess charging to the elder into a heart warming scene with two others in tow. after that we all broke camp and were heading to the elvin city. during the march i was gathering information about the world that i was just born into. [Arc] "Arn how many races are there in the world?" asking the chief [Chief Arn] "hmm there are 6 groups of races and each of them are mixed together with different species." answering his benefactor. [Arc] "Hoh, and what might these group be?" [Aria] "that would be Elf, Human, Demi-human, Demon, Dwarf, Beast, and lastly Ancients." answering proudly. [Arc] "hmm, but wait isn''t there one more from the six that were mentioned?" [Aria] "Thats right! the Ancients are basically you Arc." suddenly a window pops up

[Arc] I was surprise to see that their stats were low compared to mine when looking at several of their status plates. seeing the differance in plates gave me a sense of deja vu of a story that i read about a guy being summoned into another world to become a hero and that he could only use a shield as a weapon and that through his journey. himself and his party stats were really different from what the worlds stats would be normally. {Note: Tate No Yuusha Narigari} Arc 1 Ch.08 Future Guardian Ranger Authors Note: Sorry for uploading this a bit late and it was hard deciding where to go in the branch when i had my family prof and i have been laid off in real life so it may take time for me to get the next chapter and have it prof as well so go easy on me. (Y_Y) Note 2: sorry but im not that descriptive because i want the readers to imagine how the world will look like in their eyes if they were the character themselves like how you would imagine said elves to be. (I will still use descriptions but just hints like the building itself or style of armor) ==================================================================================================================================================================================================================== Future Guardian Ranger After the huge revelation of the levels that Arc has with the inhabitants of this world he thought that he would not be surprised anymore. That was until they all reached the main entrance of the elven city or capital Illarthia. The capital itself was a Gothic Cathedral style castle ruin that has giant trees growing around it that acts like a wall that protects it. Upon further observation he notice that there is no gate to the city while they are approaching the tree like walls. taking a quick peek at his company they all seemed calm as if they knew what they were doing so he opted to just follow them as well as just ask a few quick questions. They just replied that the Ancient Ancestors created the Ruin Cathedral and grew those Gigantic Trees that are surrounding the ruins. when we arrived by the wall Elder Arn came forward and chanted a few Ancient Elvish and then a pathway was formed with the trees moving away. Through the Gate like opening of the wall I see more trees but they are hollowed out inside with a couple of open windows in front or the side. There are even some with signs of what any RPG will have with weaponshop, blacksmith shop, alchemy shop, armor shop, clothing shop, crafting shop, and a lot of food stalls or more like leaf stalls beside the road with magical fire cooking food of many kinds from the forest. continuing for a while through the town people started to gather at the edge of the road and stare at me for some reason. There are even a few of them murmuring among themselves with the guard. The crowd continue to gather ever more to watch them as if they are in a parade. Aria and her father Arn as well as a few of the Rangers waved to the crowd and guards while Arc just observe his surroundings in surprise if he had a face at all. Continuing on the main street Arc notice that he could not see the roof of the cathedral at all due to the many tall trees sprouting around the city to cover the sky. after oberving for a while Arc then opted to face forward until two of the elven children to his left fell in a bit ahead of him in between the rangers that he stopped and got off his horse to help. [Elven Citizen Girl Erza PoV] Hi my name is Erza the future guardian ranger for the moon priestess and i live in this city of elves called Illarthia. My family are just average with my father working as a guardsmen for the city while my mother is the city enchantress. I have 3 elder siblings who are rangers in the same garrison defending one of our larger outlying forest villages. While I am not directly related to my family I am actually a Half Elf that was adopted by my current family. You''re asking why I am different from the other elves? I will tell you that I am a 13 year old child with not so pointy ears with a sharp chin that is inherited from my biological mother while my hair color is not blonde it is crimson silk red. The way that I am dressing as well can be considered tomboyish and I have always played with the boys in the city like today. While playing with my child-hood friend Legi wearing glasses that you can consider a book worm. I practically dragged him out of the library where his family lives just to play near the main plaza with other kids of our age or older. Anyway while we were playing there was commotion in the direction of the main entrance to our city. wondering what was going on everyone was murmuring until one of the guards working with my father was running to the citadel shouting "MAKE WAY ELDER ARN AND PRIESTESS ARIA HAS RETURN WITH THE RANGERS!" With that news spread many of the citizens became eager to see their great elder and priestess as well as their retinue. Thinking that my brothers may be the escorts I ran ahead following many of the men, women, and children clamoring near the main road trying to get a glimpse. Fallowed by my friend Legi we attempt to push through the people to get into the front of the crowd to see better. I Pushed and crawled until finally I emerge from the sea of people just in time to see two of my brothers just a few rows away in front of the procession of escorts. This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. [Erza] "Luk-Nii!! Bard-Nii!!!" shouting and waiving to my brothers. after hearing my shout the to of them perked their ears and searched for me. "Luk-Nii!! Bard-Nii!!!" I shouted again and kept on waiving my arms. after a few moments when they got close enough they spotted me and squinted their eyes when they saw me. they both started to even smile more broadly until they passed me as they were happy to see me. [Legi] "who is that warrior next to the priestess?" hearing what Legi said I turned to see a black armored figure that was in between other rangers and a bit closer to our side riding forward. This armored figures visor on his helmet was glowing red as if he was a demon and many other people were staring at him. watching for a while I notice that he has been looking around as if it was his first time in the city while at the same time weary of danger. While I was watching him he just stopped looking around and faced forward while approaching in front of me and just when the ranger in front of me pass by I and Legi were suddenly knocked forward buy someone and tumbled into the main road just ahead of the Armored Figure. After that I tightly closed my eye thinking that we were going to be trampled by the horses but instead the horse stops. Thinking that it was odd that i was not trampled I looked up to see the black figure get off his horse and came to me and Legi. We thought that he was going to kill us until he spoke to us. [Arc] "Are you guys alright!" lightly helping the Legi and Erza up. when I touched his hand it felt like skin of a human but not metal which was strange yet somehow warm to the touch. looking into his eyes or whatever pass as his eyes it flicker a bit as if it has a heart. This person is not a demon is what I concluded when he helped me up. Lugi was still a bit stiff meeting the man but a bit fearful as well as I. He then proceeded to pat of the dirt off our cloths and after cleaning us he put his hands out in front of us. [Arc] "Here something for the two of you" motioning his hands as if to ask us to put our hands under them for something. we both hesitated for a bit before putting our hands under his. after a few moments we both felt something fall into our hands from his. [Arc] "This is something for you to remember this day." getting up and returning to the horse. looking at what fell into my hands I saw a beautiful Bronze Rosario necklace that was shaped into a sword while Lugi was given a Bronze Ring Embedded with little cross marks going around the ring. Looking up to see him about to get on the horse I asked him. [Erza] "What is your name Sir!?" he stops a bit and then get up on his horse. [Arc] "Arc, My name is Arc" hearing that name the people people around us begin to murmur. Hearing his voice I thought I could see a young mans smiling face under the helmet as he is looking at me. After that he and the escorts started to continue onward toward the Citadel while I kept on watching him. Continuing to watch the back of the mysteriuose man named Arc who was escorting the priestess until they all disappeared from our view I turned to my friend beside me. He was Still shocked from what he got from Arc that I had to drag him away and back home. When I got home I saw my father in front of the door with my mother smiling at me as if they saw something cute. [Erza] "Mother, Father why are you both smiling?" with a bad feeling [Guard Father] "well Its just the first time that you have ever received jewelry" winking at me [Enchantress Mother] "That''s true and from a man as well, don''t tell me are you interested in him?" elbowing dad a bit. Hearing them point out that I am holding onto an accessory when I always rejected anything girly from most of the men that my father get from families asking to have me as their children''s fiancee. I blushed beet red and run pass them into home and up the stairs into my room and jumped into my bed realizing that for once I have become interested in some one. My mother and father just smiled at me and came into the house afterwords. They both started planning to see if they could ensnare the Mysterious black warrior. [Arc] Arc then felt a chill behind his back as if someone was talking about him and peaked around. "I hope that I can learn magic before something happens." Hoping that it wasn''t a bad omen. Arc 1 Ch.09 Feelings and Magic Authors Note: I will try to post a chapter a week to relieve some of my stress from RL so please endure. AN2: it will be hard to describe the inside of the citadel so I will draw up a map of the citadel and post it later when i have the time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feelings and Magic A week later Arc has been in the royal library ever since he had arrived in the citadel of the elven capital. Arn and Aria was surprised that Arc had an interest in reading which was unusual due to the fact that most of their golems were possessed by contract spirits and were not interested in learning about the world. with a bit of persuasion Arc was able to get permission from Arn to be in the library on the condition that Aria is to study with him. Aria even though a priestess she still come and go between checking her brother like Golem Arc and sacred duties in the temple. with each trip she became closer to Arc to the point that her father was worried about her future. During that time Arn had to choose a guardian ranger that are of the same gender of his daughter. while pondering about it one of his rangers that escorted them came to him and suggested his little sister Erza. Thinking that there were no other worthy candidates that were female he asked summoned for her. [Erza Pov] while walking to the Citadel Erza and her father were going to meet their great Elder Arn. [Erza] "Father am i going to be a guardian ranger!?" asking with excitement in her voice [Guard Father] "who knows sweetie you may just be able to fulfill your dream" with a smile as he sees his daughters excitement. thinking a bit then he said teasingly [Guard Father] "You may meet that knight in the castle." with a grin and wink at his daughter Erza blushing at the mention of meeting arc. [Erza] "uhhh" hitting her father with her hands while still blushing. [Guard Father] "hahaha" laughing about his daughters interest in a man. after their exchange they arrive at the gate to the citadel. Meanwhile Aria is with Arc studying through a book titled Application of Basic Magic. [Aria PoV] [Aria] "Arc do you know the basic element of magic?" while looking at Arcs eyes with a book open in her hands. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. [Arc] "I believe that they are Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind Elements?" answering from what he has read from the book [Aria] "That is correct these are the four basic elements but do you know that there are two more elements besides these four?" asking as if she is a tutor teaching a child. [Arc] "Really? would those just so happen to be Light and Darkness element?" answering with a guess [Aria] "yes that is correct Light and Darkness are the other unknown elements and adding them to the other four there are a total of six elements total in the world." with eyes wide open with excitement at the thought that Arc answered right. [Arc] "why is it that light and darkness are unknown?" asking Aria about it. [Aria] "well there are many spells that have been born from both light and darkness element while the basic elements have already reached a bottleneck in what spells to create." answering with her knowledge of magic research. [Arc] "can''t you meld the magic to create new spells?" asking from what he knows of novels in his world describing about magic. [Aria] "no we have not, no everyone in the world has never ever thought about melding the magic to create new spells because everyone can only control one element!" with a shocked expression about the thought that someone could meld different element magic to create new spells. Arc then nodded then continue to read about theories of magic as well as 101 Magic training for dummies in his hands. Aria then stood up and left the library to the temple at the central courtyard in the citadel until one of the maids stopped her and told her that the Elder was calling for her. Puzzled at what her father would summon her for she head to the council room in the upper floors. When she was at the double doors Aria knocked on the door. after a few minutes the doors open wide to reveal her father Arn citing at the far end of the room behind a U shaped table with many of his advisers and rangers seated. In front of them is a lone guardsmen and a young half elf girl who turned to see Aria when the door open up. [Elder Arn] "Aria you have come at the right time let me introduce you to your new guardian ranger." while waving for his daughter to come in. the guardsmen then proceeded to introduce himself and his daughter to Aria. Arc 1 Ch.10 Magic Training, Second Meeting, and Infiltration AN: sorry that the last chapter was shorter then the others because that day i was in a grumpy mood and only up to that part was given the ok from my family proof readers. AN2: just a heads up as well that i may post short chapters in the future and that i will try my best to give the same amount of content as before. AN3: my family proof readers numbers up to 2 so it will take time for them both to agree on something and i do have a 3rd person but he is busy helping me with my RL problem so bear with me. AN4: I probably wont be able to draw up how the cathedral will look like so think of it like this with the towers peaking over tall trees http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p518/BubbleDevs/Fantasy/City/14.jpg ==================================================================================================================================================================================================================== Magic Training, Second Meeting, and Infiltration With the Arias out of the Cathedral Library I am now able to practice magic in a way that I have read on a light novel called Aliad as well as the Unfortunate Unfortunate. [Arc Pov] [Arc] "Now then lets try to make a light ball like in the novel." concentrating in his hand a ball of light appears the size of a tennis ball. [Arc] "I see i can cast spells with just my imagination." losing focus the ball blew up in a small puff of smoke in his face. [Arc] "Guess I should not be distracted while doing this or it will be dangerous!" focusing again to create a light ball. after holding focus on the light ball for an hour or so Arc was beginning to feel tired. [Arc] "hmmm maybe I am feeling this tired because my mana is low?" once tired from making a light ball and keeping it stable Arc went back to reading to rest so that his mana will regenerate until he read something that would help improve his training. [Arc] "lets see, this book says that if you meditate while training on increasing your mana pool you will be able to increase the rate of regeneration." reading on what to do on meditation Arc stood up and move to an empty area in the library where people sit on bag like seats to relax and read to start meditation. Arc proceeded to move the seats out of the way making a clearing in the center and sat down in a cross legged position and put his hands on his knees with his palms facing up. once in position he started to concentrate and focus his mind and proceeded to make light balls around him. At first there was nothing but then balls of light started to appear around arc one by one. After creating the balls are took a quick look to see that he had created up to 10 balls of light around him and went back into meditation. Mentally tired yet still invigorated by his meditation Arc started to imagine that the light balls around him are moving in a clock wise fashion. The light balls did not move yet until after 30 minutes the balls start to move slowly. After an hour or two later arc stopped the exercise and went back to his table and gathered all of his books and came back to the same spot but proceeded to read and place books around him. There were a few times that he heard a sound of ringing from his notification but ignored it and continued to concentrate on reading and going back into training his magic. Arc continued to go back and forth in his training and reading for another couple of hours until he heard a gasp. Taking a peek Arc sees the young girl that fell during the parade like ride to the cathedral a week before. Next to the girl he sees Aria as well and stopped his magic before the light balls blow up and hurt the girls near him. [Great Hall PoV] I was quite surprise that my dream is about to come true when my father and I came into the room with our great elder and our top military and civil chiefs. In truth I was also interested in meeting the mysterious armored man that helped me up and gave me this necklece that I am wearing right now with an apprentice outfit.(P.S. star wars jedi knight apprentice robes) My father was speaking to the elders and talking about my capabilities and what not until everyone heard the Great Hall''s double doors open behind me. Hearing the door opening I turn to look and see our Priestess come in and ask why she was summoned for. Our Great Elder Arn then proceeded to introduce us to her and tell her the reason why she was summoned. [Elder Arn] "Dear I called for you because we have decided on your Guardian Ranger candidate." Gestering at Erza I then bowed politely to her and gave my name. [Erza] "My name is Erza milady." trying to hide my surprise in meeting her. after looking at me for a while she walked forward and grabbed my hand. [Aria] "Hello Erza my name is Aria please be my friend." with a smile. I was shocked that our priestess wanted me to be her friend and after a few second of contemplating I just nodded. Seeing the exchange between Aria and me Arn spoke. [Eldar Arn] "Aria dear why not take Erza to meet Arc at the library and introduce them to each other since they both will be protecting you." with a smile on his face since his daughter will have a friend in the same age range. [Aria] "Yes Elder." with a bow and she grabbed Erza''s Hand and dragged her away and head toward the library. after Aria and Erza left the Great Hall the men in the hall continued their discussion on Erza and Aria until a ranger came through the door hurriedly and bowed with sweat dripping down on his face. Seeing the Ranger being nervous Arn spoke to the man. [Elder Arn] "Ranger why are you here and what is wrong?" questioning his ranger. [Nervous Ranger] "Elder Assassins have infiltrated the citadel" giving his grim report. surprised by this report everyone in the room became pale at the thought that Assassins manage to get into the main capital of Elves. [Military Adviser] "how did they get in here!?"with a questioningly shout. [Nervous Ranger] "ssss sir, A few of our rangers and guards have been rr reported dead and that the trail of bodies lead to the Citadel." Answering the man. Hearing this report everyone''s face became even more pale until a voice shouted out. [Eldar Arn] "Ranger go and give the news to the other rangers and prepare a search for these Assassins immediately and you Guard will come with me to the library to meet with our children!, Everyone Else must prepare for an invasion from any enemy forces should the Assassins succeed in their objective!" shouting at everyone. after a few moments for the words to register they all began to go about their duties and Arn with Erza''s Father head to the Cathedral Library. [Library Pov] Meanwhile Erza and Aria had entered the Library and did not see Arc at the table and any books on it so they began to search the library together. They looked to the tall bookshelves to see if he was up there picking books, checking aisle after aisle and just when they were going to give up they notice light coming from somewhere at the far back. Erza and Aria wondered what it was and so they crept through in between the shelves going through the labyrinth of books. They continued until they saw Arc sitting down in the Relaxation area with 10 glowing light Orbs hovering and spinning around him. When Erza came up next to Aria she gasped at what she saw was happening in front of her. After hearing the gasp from Erza the light in the helmets visor that was dark began to glow with a reddish light and his head faced up as if to check who is disturbing him and he sees Erza and then turns to look a Aria right beside her. Upon seeing them Arc just stared at the two of them for a while until the Light balls began to disappear. Once all of the light ball are gone he stands up and bow before the two of them and proceeded to gather all of the books that are on the floor. Aria and Erza seeing this snapped out of their shock and proceeded to help gather the books and all three of them return to the table placing all of the books on it. When all is done Aria began to introduce Arc and Erza to each other. Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator. [Aria] "Arc this is Erza, Erza this is Arc." telling them of each others name. [Arc] "How do you do."With a bow. [Erza] "Lll-likewise" With her clumsy courtesy of a ladies bow. Seeing how they both act Aria began to laugh and hearing this Arc and Erza turn to Aria and then back to each other and began laughing as well. once they all finished laughing they introduce each other again but casually this time. After that they all sat down around the table and began talking. [Erza] "so you are called Sir Arc right? why not take off your armor?" asking innocently. surprised by the question Arc answers her [Arc] "Yes I am called Arc and Aria gave me that name, and to answer your second question I cannot take off my armor because I am this armor" after haring his answer Erza became confused by it. Seeing her confusion Aria Supplemented the information. [Aria] "Erza, Arc is not human, He is an Ancient Golem that Elder Arn was able to procure for my safety." telling Erza what Arc is. Upon hearing that Erza became sad but did not let it show to the other two. [Erza] "Ahem, then why is it that Sir Arc move as if he is a person!?" with a hint of a glare. [Aria] "That is because father and the scholars used an ancient core to create him." answering with a little glare. [Arc] (why do I see lightning going in between them?) [Arc] "Cough Cough, why are you here Miss Erza?" asking and trying to change the subject. snapping out of it Erza answers [Erza] "ah just call me Erza, Arc, and the reason why I am here is to be Aria''s Guardian Ranger." with a proud smile. [Aria] "And she is my first friend the same age as me!" chiming in and causing Erza to blush. [Arc] "hahaha, Really then be my friend as well Erza and call me Arc as well." looking into her eyes as he says this. [Erza] "OOO-Ok." blushing even though she knows that Arc is not human. [Aria] "cough, Arc what was that magic that you did?" trying to change the subject and blushing at the same time as well. [Arc] "ah, that was a way of training magic that i thought up after reading the theories of magic." answering in a white lie cause he knows that it is due to novels that he has read. [Erza] "Really!? do you think that I could train that way!?" in a surprised tone. [Arc] "Well I don''t know if you can do it but you can try." moving his hand to his helm like chin and thinking. [Aria] "Oh? then can I train in the same way as well?" in an interested tone. [Arc] "You could but it probably depends on the person." giving a reasonable reply after thinking about it. [Arc] "You two can train with me if you-" suddenly Arcs sentence was cut off with a loud bang That was when they all heard shattering of glasses outside of the library door.. Becoming alert Arc hastily equip one of his swords and prepared for battle and checked on the girls. Aria was standing up in battle position with a small stick like wand with a crystal like gem at the tip. Erza equip herself with a dagger that her dad had given to her before they came to the Cathedral. After checking and preparing themselves they sneakily moved toward the door from cover to cover. after reaching the door Arc held the handle and gently moved the door enough to peek outside. What he saw was a Ranger on the floor with his back leaning against the other door to the library where he hit making the loud bang and another person wearing all black and is body half leaning back outside of the window from the impact from having a sword sticking into his chest. From what Arc can tell is that the Ranger is dead from the impact and a dagger sticking into his heart. He figured that they killed each other just a couple minutes ago from when they were talking. Arc then motioned for the girls to stay hidden and then went out into the hall way to check for any danger. Looking around he sense that someone is watching him and he stood still focusing his mind to find out where that presence is. After a while he felt the presence move as if it is circling around him and just then Arc felt a chill if he were still human and then quickly jump forward while twisting and then threw two of his makeshift hidden daggers from the dungeon ruins at the presence just a bit lower behind him. The black figure that was about to stab Arc was hit in the heart and then fell on its back. Arc then proceed to slash the persons neck to make sure that he or she died. After the near death experience of nearly being stabbed in the back Arc Immediately checked to see if there were any other would be presences. While Arc was checking Aria and Erza heard noises outside the door of something moving and hitting the floor. They were both worried about Arc and that something was wrong in the Citadel. Erza quickly positioned herself someplace near the door ready to ambush whatever that may come through the door and Aria Hid a little away near Erza so that she could support her if needed. They both waited for a few minutes until they heard Arc saying its clear. Relaxing a bit they both go out the library to see Arc checking the bodies of two black robed figures. what they saw was that they had small horns on their head and fangs on their mouth. [Aria] "Demons!" shouting with her face paled. [Erza] "What is that tattoo?" with her hand shaking and pointing toward the demon on the grounds arm. The tattoo was in a shape of two snakes in a circle trying to eat each other. Arc then began to search the bodies and began salvaging whatever weapon the Demons were equipped with. Arc could have just absorbed them but figured that he should not scare them with the ability and that he still needed to test this ability a bit more before using it among others. What he looted from the two corpse were two Iron short swords one each, several Iron throwing daggers, Steel needles, bottles of unknown substance that are colored green, red and blue bottles, and a scroll parchment with an unknown language written on it. After salvaging what he could find he gave one of the sword to Erza to us and several of the red and blue bottles to both of the girls. When they were about to leave they heard foot steps heading in their direction from where the stairs leading up to the Great Hall. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Authors Note: whew I tried to make this one longer and tihs is composed of three planned chapters but condensed into two part chapters. Arc 1 Ch.11 Creeping Darkness and Seperation (End of Arc)[Edit] AN1: I know that some people are asking that Arc need to act more human with descriptions but it is so hard to think of ways to do that cause he is the same as Masterchief from Halo seeing that you cant make facial expressions. (Y_Y) AN2: his class was mention in one of the posting and I am still thinking of what good a name would be good for his class so that is still on hold. (sigh) AN4: Warning there is going to be profanities and mature wording in this chapter. ========================================================================================================= ========================================================================================================= Creeping Darkness and Seperation [Uknown PoV] In the dead of night many dark figures teleported into a ruined passage way. four of them were men while the other three were women that were beautiful enough to rival even the elves. The only difference between them and the elves were that they had small horns, a black tail wrapped around their waist, and Runic Tattoos on two of them. The man with Tattoos shaped like Cross combined his fuzzy eyebrows made his face appear funny while the Lady had something akin to a butterfly mark on her face. These two were the arms and legs of their Demonic Assassin Unit in the Netherworld while the others were only veterans. This night they all came into the mortal realm by orders of their Great Master Baal to Assassinate an unknown human that interfered with his summoning. They were briefed on how he looks like and that he is likely to be very powerful and may become a great threat to his demonic Apostles spread across the mortal realm. Baal sensed within the human when he spoke to him in the ruins to have Draconic energy predating to the time when the most powerful dragon ruled this mortal planet and have driven his demonic hordes back into the nether realm. Then he ordered his General of Subterfuge and Espionage to Gather his Apostle Demon Lords Assassins to kill this human and bring back his heart to create the gate for the Nether world to Invade the mortal world. [Cross Assassin] "Okay boys and girls we will be hunting down a human that has earned the Ire of our God."in a serious tone while looking at them. [Butterfly Assassin] "We know the drill lets just get this over with!" in frustration of being called in from vacation. [Assassin Man 1] "heheheheh, Finally get to kill some elves!" in excitement of doing collateral damage. [Assassin Man 2] "hihihihihihi, Think we can score a quickie with some of them girls!?" in anticipation of raping elven women. [Assassin Man 3] "hahahaha, why not bring back some of them as slaves!" with Eyes shining with lust. [Assassin Girl 1] "ugh sickos!" in a gagging motion to the other girls. [Assassin Girl 2] "This human must not be underestimated if we were sent to hunt him!" with logic in her voice. they all look at her in unison and nodded in agreement. [Cross Assassin] "Alight guys lets go!'' With a shout Getting out of the ruined tunnel they appear behind two elven guards and quickly slit their throats. Without a care the Seven of them quickly make a bee line to the citadel hiding when there were large groups while killing the smaller groups until they infiltrated into the citadel. By the time they were already inside the rangers on patrol had already discovered their fallen comrades and have started to seek out their murderers. ------------------------------------3 hours later---------------------------------------- five of the remaining assassins are converging toward their target since they all split up to search for him and were contacted by one of their members through telepathy earrings that they all have. Just when they were in the floor under Arc they lost contact with their comrade. Sensing something wrong they all speed up the pace while killing any guards in the way swiftly. Finally finding the stairs going up they continue forth until they see the remains of their comrades and their objective standing before them with two small companions. [Cross Assassin] "Fuck Fuck Fuck Ill Freak-in Kill that bastard!" charging down the hall toward the armored human and two little elven girls. [Assassin Man 2] "I''m going to enjoy killing those girls in front of him!" enraged by the death of his colleagues. [Butterfly Assassin] "Lets finish this and go home already!" [Assassin Girl 1] "HIhihihi this fight is going to be enjoyable!" with excitement [Assassin Girl 2] "I will go and stop the Guards that are coming!" with a swoosh The third assassin girl runs up the wall and over Arc and the two girls and heads toward the stairs at the end of the hall. While the other four meld into the shadows leaving their leader to charge the armored man as a decoy. Sensing the danger of what is coming at the armored man he pushed his two companions into a room and yelled out instructions of barring the room and be ready to protect themselves. Sensing that two of the Assassins were dangerous he opted to take out the weaker opponents. Feeling that the armored opponent has selected his target the others move to attack him from all directions. [Cross Assassin] "I''M GETTING HIS HEAD!" shouting in through telepathy. [Butterfly Assassin] "Then I will go for the legs." replying [Assassin Girl 1] "Guess that leaves me with under the arms." aiming for the chinks in the persons armor. [Assassin Man 2] "Fine I''ll just be the target then!" in annoyance while preparing to dodge an attack from the man. While moving around the target in a circle for what seems like hours they suddenly move into action. Sensing that the Assassins were targeting his neck and the chinks in his armor he moves to intercept and just barely manage to parry the Assassin with a cross shaped tattoo but failed to deflect the others. The assassin that was going to be attacked quickly attacked the armored mans back as soon as it was wide open while the other manage to pierce into the joints of the armor. Glowing Cyan like blood start to flow out of the wounds that instantly surprised the Assassins. [Cross Assassin] "THE Fuck!" In anger that they were not given much information on the man. [Butterfly Assassin] "Shit!" with her daggers cracking from trying to pierce into the armored joints. [Assassin Girl 1] "Dammit we didn''t kill him!" knowing that a living being would not be able to survive the attack. [Assassin Man 2] "Fucking A*** what the Hell is that armor made from!" With his blades chipped all over the blades. [Butterfly Assassin] "Hell, What the Heck is it!" Drawing her short swords. [Cross Assassin] "How should I Know!" Observing the Cyan like Liquid seeping out of the mans armor. The Armored thing then attempted to stand and took a crude stance that even though its full of opening Its Eyes or what ever makes the eyes glow brightly as if saying it will take them with it to hell. With Cyan like blood flowing out of behind his right knee and under his left shoulder while there is a line across almost like a guide to cut him in half on his lower back the thing took the opportunity to take out the weak Assassin that was targeted before. What happen then filled the others with dread on what the thing was capable. Multiple blue like chains begin to sprout out of the things wounds and attacked the assassins. They all have gone through many life or death battles and were able to dodge the chains in time. What they did not notice is that two of these chains pierced their two fallen comrades and brought them into its body. The horror of hearing the bodies being ripped to shred and made into mincemeat while in the body of the armored thing made them shiver. Seeing that there was an opening the Assassins begin to shake themselves out of their fear and proceeded to attack again. [Assassin Man 2] "Fucking Monster" Losing his cool he charges aiming for the things neck while shouting. [Cross Assassin] "BASTARD!!" shouting out while throwing all of his knives and shurikens at the thing. [Assassin Girl 1] "Shit" saying that before buffing up her allies. [Butterfly Assassin] "Shut Up and just kill the Bastard!"yelling while aiming to cut off its arms from its elbow joint. The Battle went on for what felt like hours with the four Assassins encircling around the thing attacking it as if they were fighting a powerful monster in a dungeon. Chipping the things armor, scratching its surface while trying to kill it only two of the assassins remain when it counter attacked. The Armored figure abandoned defense and went with an all or nothing attack and manage to cut off the assassin that lost his cool while throwing all of its daggers and other small weapons in a ''spray or pray'' last resort that effectively left the supporting assassins body with liters of wounds and embedded weapons. [Cross Assassin] "Shit for sure we will need to kill this bastard!" talking to his partner. [Butterfly Assassin] "That''s for sure!" replying to him "hey whats your status!?" sending her thoughts to the last assassin that was not in the battle. [Assassin Girl 2] "cough cough cough........... they .....are ....... comi-" abruptly stopping in mid sentence. [Butterfly Assassin] "Fucking Shit!" shouting out while being weary of the kneeling armored figure. [Cross Assassin] "Dammit" noticing the grim look in his partners face. Facing the armored monstrosity the butterfly Assassin forced her head to think of a way to kill this thing to please her great master should she die and be sent to the netherworld and then she had an Epiphany on how to kill it even if they should perish. She then begin to channel Mana into her left arm and ready her sword in her right to parry any attack from the thing. [Butterfly Assassin] "Hey buy me a few minutes time so that I can kill him!" through telepathy." [Cross Assassin] "Fine just kill him for sure even it it cost you your life!" Replying back while readying his stance to stop it. Noticing a change in formation and sensing mana within the surrounding converging toward the assassin in the back the thing staggardly stood up and attempt to lunge at her with its broken sword that is now a dagger. In doing so it left an opening that the cross assassin exploited cutting of the lower body of the thing but he did not see that there was another sword in its other hand and that sword swiftly cut off his head while still moving toward the other assassin. While flying forward with only half its body the thing barely parried the sword with its dagger length sword and immediately thrust with its other sword impaling the assassin in the chest. Just then the Assassin stabbed down impaling through the neck down out of its cut off lower half that is bleeding and smiled. [Butterfly Assassin] "Ready for hell Bastard!" sputtering blood on the thing and then activated the spell in her left hand. The Surroundings around the two bodies glowed white and then became brighter and brighter until suddenly darkness. After an hour or two of silence passes an injured Elder and wounded guardsmen arrive to see the bloody remains of the battle and see no trace of anyone alive in the hall. They then hurried to enter the library to find that the door was barred and shouted out for the occupants to know that they are friendlies. After a short while of shuffling from the other side of the double doors, one of the doors open and the girls peaked out to see them. Seeing the safety of the children they hugged them and thank their Goddess for their safety until one of them spoke up. What was noticeable about them is that their helmets were shaped in a way that they have animal ears, no they do have animal ears. These two are Beast-men/women and were gathering the materials to set up a temporary camp until their Fur start to spike up to the feeling of mana being used. They both immediately grab their lances and prepare for any intruders that may attack them but seeing non. Waiting patiently for a few minutes with weapon ready until suddenly a flash of light appears blinding them. The two of them immediately close their eyes and prepare to counter attack if there was any movement but heard no such movement at all besides the tumbling of metallic objects. She then turns to her partner and motions him to come over and see the armor looking thing. [Beast 2???] "what is so interesting about it!?" with impatience in his voice. [Beast 1???] "It Might have been a possessed Armor." Holding the Half body of the thing. Suddenly the armor start to shine brightly blinding the two Beast Men. [Beast 2???] "Agh!?!" with a groan from the sudden flash of light and a feeling of weightlessness from her hands. once the lights died down the two of them look to find that the armor that was there had dissipated. Only the Body of the demon was left behind and beginning to smell. Looking around cautiously they did not see anyone nearby besides themselves and their wyverns. There was no living thing in this white world but one bieng. This living entity has been encased into a crystal like substance with magic runes on the surface as well as orbiting around like rings on a planet. The being has been trapped within its prison for many many centuries from a race of so called aliens. On the planet that the creature was born to it was one of the three strongest opposing force known as the Great Dragon God. This so called god was loved by the many spirits that lived on the planet due to its love for its birth planet Varia. No matter what happen the God would always stop the mortals from destroying the planet and protected the elementals living in these environment all over the world. The planets continent were originally one gigantic continent as well as being peaceful harmony between all of the races living on it. What changed that was the arrival of two more gods onto this world of Varia that this being recalled. The Goddess of Light that Immegrated with her followers from a dying world with a magical portal. Her followers mingled with the humans on the planet and created the human kingdom of light. The God of Darkness came forth from the shadows with his demi-human followers on the opposite side of the continent from the goddess. Many of the demi-humans also mingled with the beast people and the like as well creating the Imperium of Darkness. Varia the mother Planet that was suffering between the wars of light and darkness pleaded with her children to end the wars. From her please the primordial dragon sought allies to help her fight and end the wars that have brought suffering to the planet. Many of the spirit and races that did not agree with the light and darkness faith joined her in battle but they were too few amongst themselves to fight. That was until the arrival of the Moon Goddess and her Moon Elves from the beyond of space with ships of silver. The newcomers fled from their world that was destroyed by demons to this world on the verge of destruction. They decided to side with the spirits and Primordial Dragon to stop the war. After a Century of War the last and final force that came to the planet force all three factions to band together to fight a common enemy. This enemy they face was the Demon God of Chaos. These Demons came through Black Portals as well as Dark Ships from Beyond to Invade and conquer the planet. Many of the Cities and armies of the three factions fought to the last of their powers. The Moon Elves seeing that there is only one way left implored the primordial dragon to allow them to fuse its heart to one of their most powerful weapon. The weapon itself was created with the help of all of the races and spirits creating a Draconian Golom with sheer size and weapons so advance that it could destroy shields and armor as paper being cut with a butter knife. The Goddess of Light Fused herself into a Sword wielded by a human Hero. God of Darkness also infuse himself into a Dark Knight armor worn by the hero of Darkness from head to toe. The Moon Goddess of the Elves fused herself to one of her elven children''s mighty silver ship. With all of their preparations they all fought to protect their home of Varia from the Demons. Battle after battle liberated many cities and captives from the demons on the surface of the planet and the great sea of space until something appear out of the void. What appeared was a planetary rock of immense size that was being towed by millions of demonic ships. Defeating most of the demons on the surface of Varia all of the Primordials as well as their heroes boarded the Last of thier Silver fleet and attempted to destroy this gigantic abomination. Through many battles and sacrifices they were able to destroy two third of the rock but by then they were already tumbling toward Varia. The last of the rock hit the planet and destroyed all life on the surface like the age of the dinosaurs on earth and shifted the tectonic plates. From one whole continent became two from the fallout of quakes, storms, floods, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis. Once the apocalyptic event subsided the many survivors left in space return to the planet surface ruins under the agreement that they will once again ban together to fight this evil after the planet has be restored. The sword of light remove the dust and return the skies to normal. The Silver Ship of the Moon stopped 99 percent of the quakes and volcanic eruptions. The Armor of Darkness calmed the seas and created the Arctics to create more lands. The Draconic Golom Left its core to the Elven people and sealed itself to create a barrier to the universe of Varia. Unknown to the survivors there were few Demons that survived who incited the races to war with each other again. Due to the wars many lore and history has become lost to the many races living on Varia. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. The Four Gods that became Primordial on the planet watch all of the races in sadness until the appearance of an unknown soul. This particular soul was summoned by Varia herself and fused it into the primordial Golem Dragon Core when it was discovered by the Moon Goddess children. This soul has fought and stopped the demons plans to create an opening in the barrier to allow their black fleets to return. Sensing the Soul all of the Gods and the planet watch over it until it nearly died protecting the one hope of the planet. The body inhabited by this soul was then sent far away by demonic attackers into the patrol of the beast race children. Looking through the eyes of the children they see that the soul is almost leaving from its body they all used their powers to summon the body and soul to the sealed realm. [Sealed Primordial Dragon Golem] "I see, what an interesting soul" probing into the mind of Arc [Silver Holographic Moon Goddess] "From the souls memories its civilization is not that advance as my children when they ventured into the sea of space" in interest of Arcs culture. [God Armor of Darkness] "Truly Fascinating on how they survived without the use of mana!" Seeing into the memories. [Floating Sword of Light] "Its truly interesting how there are so many Gods in its world" Looking into the faith in the memories. [Varia] "now now children we must first restore our champion" as if a mother is chiding her children. A light glows in the room and there appears a half body of an armored golem. After its appearance there is a light again basking the armor and metal materials are summoned and absorbed into the armor. Once the body has absorbed enough metal it begins to retake the shape of a humanoid armor but now with a new difference. The head of the body has been reshaped into a humanoid dragon form that is in the form of an armor but with no wings. [Arc] "Urgh what!" suddenly getting up on alert to his surroundings. [Varia] "Greetings champion" hidden from his view. [Arc] "whose there!?" in alarm [Sword of Light] "We are Gods of this world." in her high and mighty tone. [Armor of Darkness] "We are the protectors of this world!" Copying the light goddess while holding in his laughter. [Dragon Golem] "We are the Primordial Gods!" following along with her friends. [Arc] "Why have you summoned me!?" after asking this question arc begins to feel pain from some unknown memories appearing within his mind. [Varia] "With these memories it should explain many things!"like a mother telling her children whose who from a picture book. [Arc] "ugh agh ahhhhhh!" still feeling pain from the memories entering his mind. the four gods then wait until the memories transfer is complete. [Arc] "ugh ohhh." in a fetal position with his hands on his head. [Varia] "Arc we need you to prepare our children for the threat of the demons." imploringly [Arc] "you mean that demonic god Balal?" from what he remembers. [Dragon Golem] "No a legion of Demons that have been trying to get through the barrier that I have created." replying to his question. [Arc] "And how am I suppose to prepare them?" knowing that he wont be able to refuse their request. [Floating Sword of Light] "Well of course those would be tentacles since you men have always fascinated on how to violate women with them!" with a cold smile [Arc] "TENTACLES!?" another tsukkomi and with a shudder this time as well as checking if the tentacles are sprouting from his back . there was nothing sprouting yet which was a godsend cause he did not want to be a dangerous monster even though he was a type of creature. [Arc] ''Sigh''"well tell me how many girls I am going to have swoon over me." with a palm on his face and mental exhaustion can be seen. [Varia] ''SO CUTE!'' "Well that would be around 6 since you already are making progress with one of the 7."with a sly smile on her face. [God of Darkness] "Just to let you know each of the girls have two powerful affinities with the 6 elements that they know of and help in their respective country as well." chipping in with an amused expression. [Goddess of Light] "you will not have to worry about their life span as well because when we descended into this world we-" suddenly was cut off. [Goddess Varia] "well the last four would be in the same place while the other two are in separate areas at the moment." thinking about which of the two he should start with. [Dragon Goddess] "why not start with the four together and get one of the other two in the process?" adding in her suggestion. [Goddess Varia] "That would be better and I hope you can keep track on them Arc?" with a sly smile and a wink at him causing him to sudder. [Goddess of Light] "well before he can even talk to them he will need our blessing first does he not?" with her suggestion they all nodded in unison. [God of Darkness] "Then i shall bless him first!" making a head start. [God of Darkness] "I God of Darkness Bless you to be my champion and should be a great power for darkness!" speaking in a high and mighty voice. [Goddess of Light] "I Goddess of Light Bless you to be my champion and should have power to help others!"in a sultry and mighty voice. [Goddess Varia] "I Varia Bless you my champion and should you meet any creature that you have fancied, they in turn will be partially immortal!" in a sweet and mighty voice. [Dragon Goddess] "I Dragon God of this planet grant my champion the body of my kind so that he shall be able to protect what is important to him!" with an ominous sounding voice. after all the blessing were conferred one after another Arc hears a couple of dings but before that the window before him made him pale at what he read.

Arc 2 Ch.15 Vision and City Crisis Response! AN1: Just to let you guys know Arc is a form of golem that is like from diablo 2 a flesh/metal/elemental all together! just to let you guys know. AN2: sorry for this chapter to be late cause my computer that had the chapters saved broke down on me so it took me some time to finally get another comp and to rewrite this chapter since I lost all of my data! (Y_Y) AN3: we will now be seeing from another persons perspective ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vision and City Crisis Response! [White Plane] suddenly there appear a conscious that was not summoned but has come into being in the room. This person looks around in this white plane wondering what this place is after observing its surroundings it notice that it has no body. this being then thinks for awhile and remembered that it had gone to sleep so it must be dreaming. So becoming curious on what it is dreaming about the being begins to explore this plane for several hours until it happens upon a shining area. Curious about what the shining light is it moves towards it. A couple of hours later of approaching the area it sees four different colored lights of varying sizes hovering around a blurred figure of a person. Becoming more fascinated this being approaches this group of oddities and notice something. In the white space surrounded by 5 supreme beings on the floor screaming in agony and pain a humanoid body is starting to crack little by little all over as if he himself is a layer of ice breaking into many little pieces. The sound of bones breaking into little pieces can be heard as if they are reforming into something bigger. Leaking from the cracks bright cynic liquid blood are pouring into the white room causing all of the Lights to start to worry about this humanoid figure. After 30 or so minutes a magic circle formed underneath the person and shine brightly within the white room. [Green light] "oh my I did not think that this would happen." speaking toward her fellow lights [Black Light] "it seems that the body is remodeling itself in order to contain our powers." with apt reasoning [White Light] "hmm looks like he is going to be summoned by one of them?" observing the magic circle. [Silver Light] "oh seems like there will be a reunion!" speaking as if it is peeking into the future. [Tinted Gold Light] "hahaha wonder how he will prepare the children against our common enemy?" in amusement. Suddenly the light gets brighter and brighter and continue forth until everything becomes dark. Confused and a little afraid this being starts to panic that it is trapped in something until suddenly it is starting to see stars all around it. After noticing the stars the planet of Varia appears below it. Seeing how beautiful its home planet is it suddenly notices many shining lights flying away from the planet. Curious about the lights the being tries to move toward the lights but instead it still remains rooted in the same place. Confused now on why it could not move to examine the lights it tries to push itself toward the lights until suddenly one of the many begin to come closer and closer. After failing to move at all the being just begin to observe the approaching light. Upon closer inspection it sees that it is a beautiful silver ship of sort that has been detailed in legends. With the ship itself approaching closer the being sees that it is even bigger then the ships that it knows about and finally realizing that it is heading strait toward it. turning around and attempting to move away from the ship the being tries to swim or run or whatever it could to get away. Glancing back a few times and then closing its eyes the entity await for the crash but nothing happens at all. nervous the being peaks out a little and then opens wide in shock that it is moving along on top of the ship. hesitatingly it attempts to walk on the ship with a few float like steps until it became comfortable enough to move around. it begins to explore the ship looking for an entrance but finds none until it finally notices that the silver ship that it is on is surrounded by many other ships of various sizes that is gray in color. curiously observing each of the nearby ships the entity notices that all of the ships are stopping after moving into some sort of formation. it then notices that there are many cannons on the ships moving and pointing towards the front as if preparing to shoot at something. pondering why the ships are doing so the entity then hears the sound of something moving behind it and turns to see what is happening. what it sees is a black armored individual with red shining eyes rising from within the ship. peaking its interest on the armored figure the being moves to get a closer look until it hears a loud crackling electrical sound. turning to look at the source of the sound it sees that there is a rip in space and thus felt a sudden cold chill. as abrupt as the appearance of the rift it suddenly explodes as if many magical energy begins to be rained down upon it scaring the being. the entity in a panic runs toward and hide behind the black armored figure and peaks around looking at the flashes of light coming from the many ships that it could see. it then notices that many of the ships are firing off many types of magic formations as well as many bolt like ammo''s from the side of the ship as well towards the rift that is growing bigger and bigger. then the armored figure that the entity was hiding behind just lift off the ship and flew a few meters or whatever distince from the silver ship and shined brightly in a cyanic pale light. then the rift that is being fired upon is opened even bigger and longer until it is so big that the entity sees many tiny dots at the other side of the rift and a few of the many ships she can tell are already exploding from being hit. what the being then notice is that there is a huge crimson red dragon on the other side that looks to be as large as the beings planetary moon. The super large dragon then roars so loud that the being begins to faint under pressure. trying to resist the overwhelming pressure for a couple of minutes the being finally pass out for an hour or so and arouse just in time to see itself about to be eaten by a huge oversize crimson dragon with a scream! [Unknown Room] [Unknown Girl] "GAsp" breathing hard after waking up from the dream. then the girl look around the room in a bit of panic until she finally calmed down. [Unknown Girl] "what was that dream?" spoken to no one in particular. then looking towards her window she notice that daylight has appeared a bit earlier than her usual time to wake up. [Unknown Girl] "ahhhh Im going to be late!!" shouting out in shock the girl then hastily get up and run to the bathroom to do any morning duty that girls usually do. Afterwords she returns to her room and dress up in uniform of the ISDF {Imperial Self Defense Force} and head off to her Military Academy {Imagine from the game Destiny''s Tower} near home. Running and Parkoring through ally''s, roof''s, forest, over the fences and finally through the first floor window into her classroom before the bell rings. [Unknown Girl] "Saafffe!" speaking with a smile. [Unknown Girl 2] "Morning Liza!" her friend greeting her. [Liza] "Morning Miya!" giving her a wave to greet her just before the instructor arrive. [Instructor] "Alright today we will be doing combat drill examination so all of you girls will be going against the boys in the test to determine which class squad will graduate." announcing to the students. Each of the squad wear different types of gear that are split of into 4 categories.(Imagine Halo ODST Gear) Type.1 Gear Soldier class forefront fighters. Weapon: assault rifle, pistol, combat daggers, and bow Equipment: NV&Thermal gear with padded vest and basic backpacks Type.2 Gear Medic class Mid group supporters Weapon: sub-machine gun,pistol, combat daggers, and bow Equipment: NV&thermal gear with medic pack and basic backpacks Type.3 Gear Armored Class long range rear supporters. Weapon: Heavy weapons and power fist (imagine Call of duty advance warfare armored suit with the gatling or heavy artillery rifle) Equipment: Armored Suit with NV&Thermal gear, and extra battery packs Type.4 Gear Scout Class rear and forward support troops Weapon: Combat Shotgun, sniper rifle, combat daggers, and bow Equipment: light satchels, NV&thermal gear, and basic backpacks (NOTE;Bows are for wilderness survival and can be reused) Liza was given a type.2 gear while Miya got the type 4 Gear. Each squad had at least 2,4 or 5 of each type assign to them and had to coordinate their strategy in many ways. in total the whole class squadron is mad up of 8 to 15 cadets. all in all the academy housed up to a city wide army of students training in the art of warfare and have the drive to protect their imperial nation. The Imperial Nation is made up of what was left of the old worlds due to the fallout of nuclear apocalypse and have been working towards revival of their planet. There has not been any type of warfare since the ancient times and any disputes have been done in miniature simulations of war called "Wargames" in this world. Due to the fact that there were aliens abducting and a few attacks as well the Imperial Nation decided to create this academy to train many forms of combat as well as have a standing army to mobilize at a moments notice like now. [Liza] "Instructor what is the situation of Tokyo?" getting a stir from all of the students and getting the attention from other instructors. [Instructor] "please wait a moment Liza." Telling her student while they are moving toward the Arial platforms and putting a finger to her helmets earpiece. other instructors were also communicating in their comms as well listening and replying to whomever is on the other-side. While they were moving they all each got on board their respective elevators with their class and pressed the button for the Arial Tower. During the lift up the instructor finally give a hint of what is going on after getting permission from whoever is her superior. [Instructor] "an unknown enemy force appeared in the middle of Tokyo and have slaughtered many civilians and are now engaging with the local law enforcement as well as militia." telling her students. [Class] "........................................................." silent and shocked on what they are hearing many of the students show their nervousness as well as a few panicking about their families living in Tokyo. [Miya] "what do you mean an unknown force? .... do you mean aliens?" asking her instructor after one of the bombshell answers and then the elevators stop on their assign platform. [Instructor] "no they are not aliens that we have been able to identify and they just appear out of nowhere in the middle of Tokyo from what I hear." answering her students [Instructor] "we will hear the briefing from the shuttles so get on board now move it!" gesturing them to hurry up on board. the whole class move across the platform toward their shuttle and are going up the ramp on-board.{Imagine imagine edge of tomorrow Heli but as a shuttle} Once they were all inside and seated the halo projector in the middle began to glow and appear a military man. [Holo Man] "Hello Soldiers I am your commander and will be briefing you on your mission at this time." each of the students nod in turn or salute to the projection. [Holo Man] "Alright ladies and gents here is the situation!" the image changed into Tokyo with many red dots and blue dots. [Holo Man] "There are many monster like hostiles coming through a gate like structure and are equipped with many types of unknown abilities!" the two words of unknown abilities caused all of the cadets to gasp. [Holo Man] "right now at this time the enemy forces are currently converging to one of our old military base that have been converted into a law enforcement office and there are many civilians that have evacuated to said base." showing a projection of an old large pentagon shaped military base with many red dots for enemies, blue for police and militia, finally green dots congregating in the center moving down toward the base''s bunker. [Holo Man] " your team will be attacking from this position." with and arrow showing them where they are going to from the armies encirclement of the area and movements to contain the unknown force. [Holo Man] " other teams will be arriving in waves to allow the first wave to catch their breath while the others will cover and advance pushing the enemy back to their gate." indicating the unknown teleportation or portal that aliens tend to use to invade. [Holo Man] " that will be all in the briefing." before anyone could ask the holo turns off and then our instructor speaks up. [Instructor] "alright ladies we will be going in hard so do your last minute check on your gear while you can!" loudly to her cadets. [Instructor] "remember this is not a drill or practice and maintaining your gear will save your life so don''t check half ass alright!" repeating with a warning to her students. [Class] "Yes MA''AM!!" after a couple of hours the whole class started hearing explosions and starting to feel their shuttle swerving left, right, going up and down. The instructor pulled of a flat console and started typing in it and activated the projector again. [Instructor] "alright ladies we are going to go with the usual strategy and make sure that we come home no matter what!" looking around to her girls knowing that a few may or may not survive. after the instructor spoke her words the shuttle hovered over their target location and open up its belly dropping its squad payload onto the building. when it completed its mission the shuttle flew up into the sky and was just a few meters away until it was hit by a jolt of lightning and exploded. Leaving the whole class dumbfounded that nothing of the like was shot at it. [Liza] "Instructor what are our orders!" snapping out of it liza calls her superior bringing her back from the shock. [Instructor] "A-alright girls we will be moving down to ground level to join up with our nearby ground forces to support!" stuttering while giving her orders. Liza and Miya their whole life were trained for these types of situation but what they saw was more than what they had prepared and trained for. The battle between the world of science and the world of fiction happening in front of their eyes were something that was hard to believe for any normal person in the world they live in as well. (imagine from the movie Battle Los Angeles but futuristic versus fantasy.) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Arc 2 Ch. 16 Fantasy Vs Science Fantasy Vs Science in the city battle has broken out between the culmination of Science and Fantasy. Many soldiers are fighting in a slow push towards the growing tower "Gate Portal" with every strength. Looking at the corpses there are many demonic creatures as well as militia men on the ground with some of their body parts missing. From a towering building comes out a squad of fresh recruits with one veteran. The trainees seeing their first horrifying scene of war made some of them lose their meal. After trying to calm down her recruits the vet ordered them to move out in a raid formation in other words three parties were made from the squad. Moving while covering for each other they are moving towards their nearby combat allies. Moving through the streets the squad did not encounter any enemies yet and kept a vigilant eye out while following their assign formation leaders who is using their GPS system to move through the city. Moving while pushing forward to the battlefield several monster ambushes occurred against the platoon injuring their unit but not enough to force their retreat. They continue until they see the backs of their comrades who are fighting with fervor against giant alien monsters who are wearing crude knight armor and using some kind of glowing magic formation to attack. in the eyes of this horrifying battlefield many should have gone insane from what they are seeing but many of the soldiers are able to maintain their sanity due to what they are trying to protect. Liza and Miya have fought several of the humanoids and beast type aliens and sustained light injuries on their way to the battle field. [Teacher(platoon Leader)] "alright girls we will be helping out the milita pushing back those aliens and plugging the holes in the defense line so that they wont be able to attack us from behind!" shouting to her students [Class(Platton)] "Hooorahh!" (marine chant if you have heard it} [Miya] "haaa haaa haaa" breathing hard the same with her fellow squadmates when finally fighting through many ambush. [Liza] "I did not think that magic will be real!" remembering her vision she had the last night. [Classmate 1] "I know what you mean." [Classmate 2] "what do you guys mean?" looking at the two girls [Liza] "well for one we have only been using technology for a long time unlike in the novels for one." [Classmate 1] "and for sure there is no technology that can do anything magic like besides just the cg and computer related movies." [Classmate 2] "but there really should not be any magic at all and who knows what tech those aliens are using that can create those effects!" Booooooooom. an explosion happens behind their cover. [Miya] "stop talking and start shooting!"angerily shouting at her squadmate/friends who are leisurely talking while she is shooting from cover after the explosion. [Liza] "ok ok dont get mad at me ok." starts shooting from cover. the platoon shoot and shoot until there is a lull in the attack from the creatures and then the militia as well as the platoon charge forward to win back ground. Pushing forward from all fronts many of the demons that made it through the gate and fighting are getting push back block by block from all sides. yet the gate is still growing until it reaches the hight of a 7 story tall building. From the gate came out a blood red dragon that barely fit through the gate. after coming through the gate it spreads its wings larger and longer than what it seems to show. the dragon then fly high into the sky and begin to bombard the many soldiers that were unlucky enough to not be inside any nearby structure. luckily Liza''s platoon was not outside during the attack and was inside one of the abandoned firefighter station nearby to rest and resupply. hearing the roar and cries of their allies they begin to radio HQ for heavy armored reinforcement. [Platoon Leader] "dammit we need those HMA''s(Humanoid Mechanical Armors) ASAP now!" yelling into her comms [Liza] "dammit they better send in those bots to help get rid of that dragon now!" trying to use her helmet camera to transmit what they are seeing to HQ. [HQ RADIO] "...........rien...............way...................hold............til.............a................positi................." the reply from the radio is scrambled [Miya] "SHIT here they come!!" warning her friends of what she sees coming. many many armored creatures are pouring out of the gate and are charging toward the platoons position. Many of the girls are shooting from behind pillars and makeshift cover from whatever materials that are in the building. The good thing about the building is that it was design to be a type of bunker for emergency use from the army with months of supplies for basic siege warfare, but the bad thing about it is that it''s positioned in an area that is wide open to the crimson dragons flame attack and has pinned the platoon down. There are other platoons as well that survived but are stuck in other buildings and are fighting the waves of demons as well so they could not help their fellow cadets as well as isolated militia. [Militia 1 stuck with platoon] "SHIT im not going to go down dying and I have a family to go home to!" shooting blindly from cover at the many small gremlin demons approaching them. [Liza] "get back into cover!" pulling the man back into cover just in time when a crimson lance flew over the place that was where his upper body was. [platoon commander(remember she is their teacher)] "alright girls we will hold the the fort until help comes so don''t be reckless and cover each other and all of the openings I don''t want any of those things getting in here!" giving orders and then shooting from cover helping her cadets. [Militia 2 stuck with platoon] "Dammit I don''t want to die a virgin!" shouting out his inner feelings getting the girls nearby a bit uncomfortable. [Militia 3 stuck with platoon] "GODDAMMIT you damn monsters just had to appear during the summer comifest that i was gonna go to today!" info that tell the girls that they are safe with the otaku. [Militia 4 stuck with platoon] "DIE DIE DIE DIE you monsters just when i was able to get my boyfriend to come on to me you just had to ruin our date!" man revealing that he was gay taking out his anger on the monsters as well as getting the other three guys to shiver. [Liza] "dang-it out of ammo, anyone have a spare mag!" still searching her pockets for any spare magazine for her weapon. [classmate/squadmate 3] " here use it sparingly!" throwing her spare to Liza who immediately reloaded her weapon. [Miya] "Shoot they are getting closer and closer!" reaching into one of her pockets. [Miya] "Grenade!" shouting that she is going to throw one of her grenades. she stays behind cover but put some immense effort to throw the bomb like a pro baseball player right smack dab into the middle of the horde. BOOOOOOMB a loud explosion ensues throwing dust and debris everywhere besides corpses. after the explosion Miya does a fist pump after peeping at her handiwork a little bit. [Liza] "NICE Miya! that should slow them dow....GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" while praising her friend she was distracted just a bit that it was enough of an opening for one of the crimson red arrows to be able to spear through her shoulder and enter into their bunker and causing a crystal like explosion into their midst. [Miya] "Liza!!!" shocked that her friend has been heavily injured and that many of her comrades are severely injured and some of them may be dead. [Militia 1 Lucky or unlucky] "shit have to stop the bleeding! hey!!(light cheek slap) hey!!(light cheek slap) concentrate on the battle I will handle your friend we need to get through this if she is going to survive!." snapping Miya back into doing what she needs to do before hurrying to do first aid on Liza. [Liza] "Argggh Dammit!" pulling out her pistol she attempts to help cover the man who is treating her as well as bearing the pain even though she is crying. the heavily injured platoon and the few militias futile try to keep the demons at bay when the crimson dragon appear behind the horde getting ready to fire its breath at them. just when all hope is almost lost they see a bright light flash before their eyes. Out of nowhere there appears a black humanoid metallic creature with wings and a long tail extending from its back with a sharp tip. http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/evangelion/images/8/83/Evangelion_Unit-01_Stage_2_Specification.png/revision/latest?cb=20130521120921 (like this form but without the shoulder things and have wings and also instead of the power plug it is a long tail. oh also a bit longer neck.) the big creature stand as tall as the crimson dragon and then shoots out a surge of lightning from its horn in a wide area arc towards the many monsters and the enemy dragon itself. the energy of the lightning was so powerfal that it impaled through the dragon and enter into the gate effectively killing all who has touched it. afterwords the metallic being is engulfed in light again just after it gives out a loud roar. with the crimson dragon dead many of the demonic legions begin to retreat when many metallic like robots start to appear being dropped from the sky into the battlefield.(imagine titan fall but the robots look like front mission versions) Many of these HMA''s appeared and pushed back the tide of battle and forced the many monsters back through the gate and effectively begin to cover the gate so that any monsters that attempt to push through the gate will end up dead with oversize bullets as well as lazer blasters. this marks the end of the battle. ---Unknown Location- looking upon the battlefield from above a white being is nodding his head at what he just did to save his realm as well as the future of his followers that will enter through the gate in the future as well as getting a glimps at the being that he knows that will save the multiverse. [God???] "whew summoning that being was the right judgment against that chaos dragon!" nodding his head at what he did. ----------------------------------- Arc 2 Ch.17 Through the GATE (EDIT) authors note: we are still going to introduce each of the girls in each arc and how the MC effects them as well as meet them in a way. authors note2: just to clarify this arcs government is kinda the same as star wars. and a happy Halloween release! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Through the GATE on the planet earth finally the battle ends with the HMA''s coming in to sweep the area and secure the gate. with many casualties from the battle and debates on how a "Gate" was able to be created in the heart of the Empire in the middle of their galactic federation and earth that does not have any aliens on the planet. Mankind knew that for them to survive they will have to have friendly relations with aliens but they still did not trust them enough to be allowed to live on their capital planet. Many of the outer rim colonies housed many coexisting aliens while the inner rim has a few. At the center of the Federation of planets with the empire of man controlling its colonies as the main hub of human activities. on that day was the first ever invasion of an unknown force that shocked many aliens of who would ever try to wake a sleeping lion. many of the humans even attend the academies in the inner rim colonies as well as the central piller of the federation. finding out that many casualties were sustained in the battle to stop the invaders have also helped build up some animosity to aliens but has not yet burst. Many of the leaders were bickering on sending a large military force through the gate or just destroy it. the debate continued for half a year until it was finally decided that they will send a punitive force to secure the area and scout whatever indigenous lifeforms are on the other side. Earth God POV [God???] "hmm so they have finally decided to go through with the invasion now." looking into his large crystal ball that is showing the parliamentary debate on earth. [God???] "wonder if that child is alright with that new arm of hers?" changing the view of the crystal while mumbling to himself. Back on Earth near the Gate [Liza] "dammit getting use to this cybernetic arm is painful!" complaining to her friend. [Miya] "just be glade that you are still alive with that gadget on instead of retiring!" reprimanding her friend. [Liza] "I know but it is a pain just trying to hold back so that I can even drink a cup of water!" pouting to her friend. liza had to amputate her left arm in order for her to survive because the crimson arrow had penetrated through the bone and damage the nerves badly as well as beginning to start rotting in the exposed flesh by its curse. many of their classmates died from the curse itself before being able to be treated at all. even their instructor did not survive her heart being pierced by a shard created by the explosion. Liza was lucky enough to survive due to her equipped with a Type.2 gear that also included nano machine injectors that the militia man used to treat her before the rot start to spread. Also she was lucky enough to be selected to test out the new MGP(Military Grade Prosthetic) that has been fine tuned by using data from many virtual reality games to help her use her arm mostly but still needed therapy to adjust to using her grip. [Volunteer soldier 1] "psst you guys knock it off the CO is coming!" warning the girls they both straiten their backs and maintained their poker face as a woman with a an mechanical eye-patch(imagine Metal Gear Solid Snake eye-patch thing) with black hair and Japanese like features(meaning short but almost not curvy body with toned muscles"p.s. no offense to readers.") armored in type.1 gear including a custom helmet. she gives a small speech to the small army of ground infantry as well as armored Calvary. afterwords we all lock an load our gear and get on our respective APC''s(imagine Dawn of war''s Imperial guard chimera) that are waiting in line. Each of the soldiers move to man the laser guns mounted onto each seating area. the engines begin to rev and then over the comes a signal is given to the heavy tanks to move forward with the mechs following behind and then each troop transport lastly follows. [Liza] "chuckle, who knows my dear otaku friend!" with a big wide smile. the small army then enter the gate going through a long tunnel going on and on for about half a day until they exit out of the gate itself. when they exited out of the gate they encountered a large ancient temple grounds like the period of the Greek or Roman empires. continuing onward until exiting the temple each group of vehicles are ordered to split up and secure the area of the temple. with their orders given they each move to the surroundings to offload their troops and secure the area assign to them while the leader vehicle remain at the entrance and unloaded their Arial droids to scout further around. [Soldier 1] "this is alpha team, area secured!" calling in. [Soldier 2] "this is beta team, area secured as well!" calling in as well. [Soldier 3] "this is omega team, zone is secured waiting for orders!" calling in for more orders. [Liza] "this is dog company, area secured preparing sandbags now!" calling in after her squad leader ordered her to call in. [HMA 1] "unit 1 here area is clear no hostiles yet." replying to coms [HMA 2] "unit 2 area i clear no enemy''s in site!" [HMA 3] "this is unit 3 there is a large dust cloud coming in from the base of the mountain on the other side!" radioing in a warning. [Miya] "the Heck is with that dust cloud!" pulling looking into the scope of her sniper rifle she sees that there are armored monsters riding on dark wolves with spikes portuding around its shoulders heading her teams way. [Liza] "the fuck is with that number!" with her binocular out and already seeing what they were talking about. [Miya] "dammit there is about 70,000 of them!" yelling into the radio about how much enemy troops that she could estimate from her scope. [Army Leader] "alright boys and girls bunker down and prepare to intercept them!" giving out commands. [Army Leader] " get those artillery shells going we need to thin them out now before they reach our position!" giving order to her tanks. [Army Leader] "HMA''s Get ready for AA combat just in case if there are any of those dragons as well!" telling the mechs. after getting their orders half of the tanks that came through the gate switch into siege mode with their barrel extending even longer to shoot farther. while the HMA''s are starting to prepare their over the shoulder mounted missiles for anti air combat as well as their giant van sized guns to go blazing VOID SPACE drifting through the blackness our mc was just De-summoned by the God of Parallel Earth and is cruising through the branch of futures. having gotten control of his dragon transformation he is now back to his human sized armored self and has been observing the many futures in the void. from what he can see in the void there are many ball shaped lights that are interconnected to each other forming into a tree. drifting through the ever expanding tree of possibilities Arc have notice that six strings have coiled around one single line but has not seem to be able to connect to it. having approached the interwoven lines he touched one of the strings with a feeling that he has to go there for something important. when touching the line itself he feels a pull like no other and is sucked into the string disappearing from the void. ------------------- sorry if its short but i may have more in the next chapter but don''t get your hopes up for long chapters. Arc 2 Ch.18 Mechanized Body (edit 1) Mechanized Body (edit 1) Unknown Location in the darkness of the warehouse a clear circular space appears cutting a few openings into the surrounding containers.(imagine the Terminator Time Jump effect!) in the center of the cavity is a black armored humanoid that is kneeling as if it has just landed from an incredible height. the individual stirs from its posture and stands up looking around its surroundings. inside many of the containers there are many armored suits of type 1-4''s and several broken or cut armors and weapons. observing its surroundings it begins to move sensing something unique in the nearby vicinity of the building. moving in between the containers and through the labyrinth in the warehouse it finds a door towards the wall and approaches it. the armored figure opens the door and see stairs going down toward the basement. his senses of some rare armored material makes the being curious and continues down the depths of the building. the Armored figure has been traveling down for so long that it feels that it has been going down for a couple of days. it passes by doors and yet it''s senses are telling it to continue down the stairs. going down what felt like the last few floors of stairs the figure finally reach the bottom of the floor and see a large double door covered in dust as if something has been left and forgotten. curious he approaches the door and then for some reason the doors themselves open up slowly like those automatic doors in its memories. seeing inside the room are rows upon rows of armored suits on the walls and continuing down the hallway. feeling that there is nothing wrong the armored man goes into the room and down the hallway glancing curiously at the armors on the walls wondering if he should absorb them. looking above each armored suits there are names or numbers carved like "Experimental" or "NewType EXP" with numbers. continuing down the hall the figure sees another set of double doors but this one is heavily reinforced and there are laser lights all around the room before the door. curiously the feeling still pulls it toward the door and in doing so walk into the room activating an alarm system of sorts. hearing the blaring of alarms the figure just simply ignore it and continue to the door and wondered how to get through the door itself since it did not open like the ones before. giving up on pushing the door the armored person just put his hand on the door and let out blue chain lights onto the metal itself absorbing it. continuing for 10 minutes the double doors were finally absorbed and inside the room is a set of armor that is truly unique and in a complete state compare to the ones in the hallway. approaching the highly mechanical armor the figure puts its hand on it and senses a presence within the armor. the presence has a sense of familiarity like it is a part of itself. feeling odd about why the armor feels familiar the being attempts to absorb it sending out the oh so familiar blue chains that connected to it. instead of the usual absorbing way the armor suddenly opens up and pulls the figure within itself. sealing the entity within the armor suddenly excruciating pain is felt all over the beings body as if it is being pulled apart until it becomes unconscious. while passed out the being is absorbing the armor and the form begins to adjust to the new body type that is mechanical in nature and start replacing many of the electrical parts with mana. ------------------------------------------------10 years later-------------------------------------------------- Overlooking the warehouse complex Miya and Liza is leading a new group of academy cadets to get new gear for training in the newly built Planetary academy. Many of the cadets were not human some were dwarves, elves, beast-men, as well as demi-humans/hybrids. while going down the rows of warehouses that store equipment they finally reach the building with number 666 marked beside the huge double doors. [Miya] ¡°Alright cadets we will be going in to get your training gear even though they may be the old types they still pack a punch so don¡¯t even think about playing with the gear.¡± Giving a stern warning to her students like how her teacher did when she was in the academy before her demise. [Liza] ¡°That is correct since these are still military grade gear so please make sure to seek our permission before discharging any type of weaponry since we are in an age of peace.¡± Making sure she reinforced her friends warning in a lightly warmer way. Nodding in approval Miya opens up the pad near the double doors and begin to type in a coded sequence and after that Liza swipes in a special keycard. The doors then begin to open inwardly automatically showing the stacks of military grade gear packed on the wall and in boxes according to type. After entering into the warehouse with the students to start getting their gear Miya notice that there is a large circular outcrop in the center of the room and a few glowing splotches that are traces of highly concentration of mana turning into liquid. She turns to her friend and partner and nods to her. Knowing that something is wrong Liza picks up her radio and starts calling in all of the cadets to gather at the gate and also call in for reinforcement while taking out one of the many weapons and loading it with live ammo. Miya moves to investigate the area will taking one of the pistols and loading it up as well as taking a few mags for insurance. Liza meanwhile protects the students who are suddenly very weary while trying to put on Type.1 Gear that they manage to get before being radioed. Each of the students start moving as one to arrange any of the none explosive crate boxes in a form of a barricade in case they may have to shoot something inside the warehouse while taking cover. Miya notices some mana liquid footprints leading from the circular like terminator teleportation that she once saw in an old movie and follow it cautiously. She notices that there is a door at the end of the warehouse that was not suppose to be there in the building plans. [Miya] ¡°Liza there is a slightly opened door here that is not suppose to be here in the floor plans from the last time I checked before we got shipped into being instructors!¡± weary that there is an unknown and bad feeling creeping up her back. [Liza] ¡°stay right there reinforcement should be on the way to help us out!¡± speaking a bit louder in the radio to try and keep her friend from doing something stupid. [Miya} ¡°sorry Liza but im going in to check things out so stay there with the kids until help arrives.¡± Telling her friend before pushing the opened door further to reveal a set of stairs. [Liza} ¡°dammit Miya don¡¯t be to F..Kin reckless and charge on your own into danger!¡± shouting over the radio due to the feeling that she always have about her reckless cybernetic friend. After waiting for a reply she started to hear static on the other end. [Miya/Radio} ¡°I ¡­..bzzt¡­.. e ¡­¡­.ine¡­¡­.. worr¡­¡­ handle¡­¡­.self!¡± [Liza] ¡°Miya you are breaking up please repeat that!¡± calling to her friend but instead. [Radio] ¡°bzzzttttt¡­. Crackle¡­¡­..bbzzz¡­¡­¡­.¡± no reply [Liza] ¡°Miya you better not be pulling a prank on me cause I am going to be piissed if you don¡¯t come back right now!!!!¡± shouting into the radio. [Miya/Radio] ¡°dow¡­¡­.bzzt¡­¡­.airs¡­¡­.room¡­..ull¡­¡­. proto¡­¡­. uits¡­. Ecking¡­¡­¡­prints¡­..ead¡­..to¡­¡­..bzzt¡± replyed from the radio. Seeing the exchange from their instructors the students were beginning to worry and started to notice that not all of them are present. [Student 1(girl)] ¡°ummmm Instructor Liza¡± hesitating to tell her teacher. [Liza] ¡°yes¡± turning to her students to see that they are worried about something. Even though she is already stressed from her friends antics. [Student 2(boy)] ¡°we are missing one person¡± hesitantly telling her. Eyes widening Liza start counting her students and seeing who is here and all but one student is accounted for. [Liza] ¡°where is she!¡± about ready to tear her hair off figuratively from not keeping track of an important VIP student. [Student 3(girl] ¡°ummm instructor she mentioned that she sensed some sort of familiarity nearby and went to check it out and did not come back.¡± Scared of being made to run the whole training field for her friend¡¯s trouble while also pointing in the direction of the door. [Liza] "what am i going to do if something happens to that priestess!" graouning about the orders she and her friend got from HQ about protecting the important VIP Elf. she decided to radio her friend as a heads up if the priestess followed her. Arc 2 Ch. 19 Reunion (Edit) Authors note: just to let you people who enjoy reading my story that i am not dead yet and also that this story is not dead yet as well just that it is hard for me to decide if i should try to go with what i remember of the scenarios or chapters that i have planned that were removed from my old computer or to just make new chapters away from what i planned originally so please go easy on me and also this is still my first story. (Y_Y) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reunion [ON the stairs leading down] there is an elf going down the stairs sensing a familiar trail of mana as her Nii-san(brother) before he disappeared in front of her a two hundred years ago when she was still the size of a child protecting her from the Demons attack in their capital castle. following right behind her is a human from another world that she sense is coming following the liquid mana footprints that her dear brother left behind some ten years ago due to how much dissipated over time leaving the trail. the two figures continuing down the steps yet separated by some distance continue forward. the young elf reaches the bottem floor and sees the same double sided doors and continue through just as the other person reach behind her. experimental storage room [Aria] "I have finally found you nii-san." chasing the aura through the automatic doors when a hand grabs her shoulder. [Miya} "Jeezes girl why the heck did you have to come down here when there is somthing dangerous hidden!" in an angry tone while reaching for her radio with her other hand [Miya] "this is Miya just caught up to our princess and looks like whatever is in the experimental storage room." contacting her partner. [Radio] "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........zzzzzzzz.zzzzzzzzzzz.zzzzzzzzz.zzzzzzzzzzzzz..." [Miya] "damn radio is not getting through!" a bit anxious that her radio is not working well while looking around the room while still keeping Aria in her sights. Aria then begins to follow the mana trail going further in the room and causing Miya a headache to keep up with the alien elf girl. they both continue into the room looking at the many prototype suits of armor until they come upon one set of armor that is complete and not missing any parts at all. Aria took a more personal closer look at the suit examining every inch noticing that only this suit is giving off the familiar mana aura as a certain armored figure and also looked the same but more different. Miya went to the nearby terminal to access into the information of what this armor is looking through the lines of text and wondering if she could get the armor to wear. while Miya was looking through the terminal Aria finally started looking at the helmet more closely and notice that there was a couple of light flashes in the eyes. [Arc] "long time no see little sis" finally recognizing his little elven priestess that have grown up from her unique mana aura. [Aria] "welcome back Nii-san!" smiling to her armored golem before she could ask another question a loud shout comes from beside them. [Miya] "WHAT the FRACK just happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" then both Arc and Aria turned towards Miya. Arc surprised that there is a human dressed in some sort of sci-fi military uniform while Miya became embarrassed in front of her instructor. just as Miya was about to speak to her instructor there was a loud roar behind her and snapped all of those who were ignoring the next figure that finally stepped out of the closing portal over its companions dead body. Arc then changed his weapon form into a katana(if you have read or watch "Hundred" then you know what type of katana it is) with help from his new ability when he fused with the mechanical armor. [Arc] "Miss can you please take her out of here?" asking while moving forward and protecting both of the woman. [Miya] "alright fine just need an explanation when this is over especially you A-R-I-A!" saying with some anger and grabbing her student like a potato sack and start running away toward the stairs. [Aria] "Nii-saann I will be waiting for you!" shouting out knowing that she is still a burden and have a determined look watching arc. [Arc] "(Chuckle) she still is naive." remembering how innocent she was still little. [Arc] "now time to take out the trash!" brandishing his katana and pumping in mana creating sparks. [Chaos Demon] "foul creature you shall not be able to protect this world!! the Master shall devour this galaxy and we shall sacrifice the pathetic inhabitants to our Blood God!" with a cry and pouncing with its grotesque bloody axes for a strike. [Arc] "I dont think so you hypocritical meat bag!" parrying the strikes with his sword. [Arc] "I have important people waiting for me and I aint letting you or your so called Chaos God to separate me from them again!" pushing harder and hitting heavier with his sword. [Chaos Demon] "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YES YES BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE WE SHALLL DEVOUR THIS GALAXY" shouting and drawing chaos power from its fallen brethren to empower itself further more. Arc and the Chaos Demon continue the rally for 7 hours straight when they separated with light wounds a new group arrived. [Miya] "DONT THINK THAT YOU CAN MESS WITH THE IMPERIAL ARMS FORCES NOW FIRE!!!" with a shout and order many magical lasers, plasma, fireball, waterball, windball, earthball, Holybeam, and bullets fired toward the Chaos Demon from many of the students and her partner Liza. [Chaos Demon] "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" with its death cry from so many shots the demon finally died. after cordoning the room with the offical soldiers that arrive a few hours later Miya, Liza, and Aria dragged Arc up to the ground floor outside of the warehouse and stuck him into one the new Magi-Tech Auto-Doc Systems. [Arc] "umm what is going on?" surprise on all of the advance technology and how the races are coexisting now.
