The Alpha decided to start an adventure in an attempt to cure his eternal boredom. He sealed away his powers and decided that it would interesting to live as a human that will encounter many challenges. He wanted to experience what it is like to face tribulations and overcome obstacles in the path to being a revered craftsman. The goal after reincarnating himself is to become the best, no the very definition of a Godly Craftsman despite human limitations. Curiosity played a big part in this. What happens when one has all the knowledge to advance to in the world but did not have the talent to do so? He sent himself into the reincarnation cycle to be reborn as a child of a commoner family in the fantasy world of Yekir. What is the world of Yekir? Yekir is a fantasy world consisting of myriad of different species. Yekir is what normally people refer to as a super continent. The North is a harsh wasteland ruled by ferocious vikings. Various dangers such as magical beings constantly roam this untouched land. However the most dangerous of them all are the mortals. This land is ruled with the law of the jungle. When one is incredibly strong, they have the option to act on their feelings of greed, envy and pride as there will be no repercussions. The only empire in the north is the kingdom of Norce, ruled by a cold-hearted tyrant named Drogus. This kingdom is filled with retired outlaws which included some of the most infamous and powerful people who roamed Yekir in their prime! The South, an empty, scorching desert filled with ruins and relics from the ancient past. It used to be ruled by the kingdom of Salaria, widely known for their vibrant culture. It was ruled by a great emperor named Azma. However, Salaria soon fell into ruin after the death of the great emperor. Currently, the land is overrun with magical creatures of the desert. The East, the enchanted land of elves, abundant with nature loving creatures ranging from Dryad to Fairies. The Great Elfen kingdom of Evergrace, home to the great and powerful mages. It is currently ruled by the stongest archmage that has come into existence, Eden the IV. This kingdom is famous for their powerful mages, life saving potions and The World Tree,Yggdrasil. The West, mountainous terrain spread all over this land, houses many different species but the one in control are the dwarfs. Their kingdom, the kingdom of Wapon, renowned for their blacksmithing skills. They are ruled by the famed dwarven king Wesley Hammer. There are rumours that the dwarfs served the rulers of ancient times, dragons. Lastly, The Central, home of the adaptable humans. There are three kingdoms, the kingdom of Erath, the kingdom of Naheav and the kingdom of Muhan. Wars between the three countries are common due to their ideological differences. Naheav believes in the power of faith towards their gods, Muhan believes in the power of magic. Erath believes in the power of brute strength. Each ruled by a leader forged through war. Naheav is ruled by Pope Nathas also known as the messenger of god. He was given this title after healing a combined troops of around 100,000 in the midst of war. Muhan is ruled by Grand Magister Marina also known as the apocalypse after annihilating two-thirds of another kingdom''s army. Then we have Endo who rule the kingdom of Erath, he is known as the Undying Warrior after being in a war where his army of 10,000 was against an army of 100,000, coming out alive as the only survivor of the war. His father, Peter Obside is a blacksmith in the town of Stro located in the kingdom of Muhan. His mother, Elly Letahr is from a tailoring family of the same town. Colt''s POV(Age 1) It has been a year since I was born. I have developed enough strength to begin walking. I need to continue to develop my muscles so that I will have enough strength in the future. I will start walking around the house to familiarise myself with this body of mine before learning how to run. Elly''s POV I am very proud of my son, he was able to start walking at the age of 1 while others are still crawling. He is very active and cute but as he grows up, I am pretty sure he will be as capable as his father. He does act weirdly from time to time and tends to just zone out into space as if he is doing something. It was probably just my imagination. Colt''s POV(Age 2) I have started running around the house as a minor physical conditioning. I can''t wait till the age of 5 where I will be enabled to see my status. I have tried absorbing mana from the atmosphere but it seems to me that my mana control is not at the stage where I can start absorbing mana. This means I need to either develop my mana control by attempting to circulate it or I would have to get my magic senses awakened by a mage. Three years later... Colt''s POV(Age 5) Finally, my coming of age ceremony is going to happen today. The ceremony will be held in the town central where people of different status will gather. It seems to me that my parents have no expectations for me and just want me to be happy. I will show them that I am not just an ordinary child. There are a total of 250 children taking their coming of age ceremony this year. I am number 178 to participate in the ceremony. Here is how the ceremony goes, there will be a crystal ball that will grant you the ability to see your status and show other people your stats.Of course, you can alter your status to hide information that are more private. I can see that my parents are proud of me. However, the glint in my father''s eyes already told me I was going to suffer through hellish training. I hope you are mentally prepared for the intense training schedule you will come to receive from me.'''' father said heartily. I felt as if I just made a terrible decision despite it being my goal from the start. After that small talk, I went along with Dad to begin learning the basics. When I saw the huge smithing hammer, I immediately felt the urge to hold it. Despite using my full strength, I still couldn''t lift the hammer up even an inch. ''''Hahaha, you will not be able to carry that unless you have a strength rating of at least 85. That is a hammer made out of black iron and ironwood. It is what I use when crafting weapons that requires more precision. How about you try carrying this hammer?'''' said father as he hands me another hammer. Although this hammer is lighter than the previous one, I was unable to lift it any higher than my shoulders. After trying to lift it up even higher for a couple more times, I fell to the floor due to exhaustion. I repeated the process of trying to handle the hammer for about 6 hours until it was time for dinner. I was so tired that I even had difficulties holding the utensils. I wolfed down my food and immediately turned in to sleep. The very next day, I woke up with my arms still feeling numb. Dad told me it was natural and I would get used to it after a while. The harsh training continued... 1 week later, my body had gotten used to the intensive activities that I was tasked with. I was very eager to begin forging but I am clearly not prepared to do so. Dad also educated me in the properties of metals and the different metals. Even though I was learning at a very face pace, it is obvious that there is still tons of things to improve on. 2 Years later, Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. In the past two years, every time I see him forged gave me an itch but I had to train my hammer swing due to my horrible handling skills. When my smithing training ended in the evening, It gave me the time to train my mana control. Now, my mana control is at the level where I have the ability to absorb the mana from the surroundings without any difficulties. Back to the main objective. I watched dad as he demonstrated how to forge. I closely observed and memorized his every move. He then allowed me to try. I replicated his every move and even tried to improvise. I channeled my mana into the hammer as I pounded the metal with all my strength. Although this may take a toll on my mental state, the quality of the end product should be a few times better. After the talk, I continued crafting a few more weapons before I collapsed due to the mana exhaustion caused by the overdrafting of mana. As I woke up, preparing to grab something to eat, I accidentally overheard my parents'' conversation. "I am telling you we must send him to the academy, there are more experienced blacksmith than me that can help improve his blacksmithing skill. The very next day, I woke up to find dad so I can continue forging some weapons but instead found mom waiting for me in the kitchen with a sewing set. She told me I will be learning the basics of tailoring today. Although sewing does not need much strength but it requires extreme precision. I pricked my hands with the needle for a few times but as time goes by, I started to get better. I also incorporated the idea of channeling my mana while crafting. Apparently, this world''s currency comes in the form of different coloured coin. 1 gold coin is equivalent to 10 white silver which is equivalent to 100 silver. 1 silver is equivalent to 100 bronze. A silver coin could last a family for about 2 weeks. I also learnt more about the different materials from Mom and Dad. In this world, mined veins of metal can regenerate as long as there is mana present. This is why the continent uses precious metal like gold as currency due to the abundance of such metal. However, regenerating a vein of metal will take time. For example, regenerating a large vein of iron will take about 1-2 weeks while regenerating a small vein of rare metal like black iron will take 6-8 months. For tailoring, people normally use different monsters'' body parts to make armour. For example, the ironhide grizzly has an incredibly hard pelt which is perfect for armour. As for guilds, there are mainly four major guilds in this world. Although there are many smaller organisations, the power of the four guilds was enough to overturn the world. The four guilds worked together to maintain and preserve the peace in the continent. In times of disaster, they will band together to form one alliance to take down the threat. Firstly, we have the Raiders, an adventurer guild. They play a huge part in society as they help provide materials that are hard to get for commoners. The guild have many branches in every part of the continent. The guildleader is a retired adventurer that attained SS rank in his prime. Secondly, we have the Golden Lotus. A merchant guild which is in charge of major auctions. They very strong in terms of political and economic power as the major members of the guild are nobles and aristocrats. They can easily destroy any kingdom through financial means. They do not have a leader but rather a council made up of powerful aristocrats and noble. Thirdly, we have the Element, a magic guild. This guild is famous for having both quality and quantity in resources for mages. Thus many who aspire to be mages flock to them, so that they can gain access to the resources for improvement. They are feared not for being mages but rather the ancient magic they possess. The ancient magic is powerful enough to rip open space causing distortions which can bring forth beings of mass destruction. Their leader is said to be an immortal from another realm. Every genius that have graduated from this school have went on to become great generals for Muhan. Normal students would also be asked to join the army as an elite. Second, we have the AzurePhoenix School of Sorcery. The school prioritizes on teaching mages. Mages are highly sought after for their power. A high ranking mage can turn the tides of a war. The school holds many mana cultivation methods that can help improve mana capacity. The school is also recruiting potioneers and enchanters. Third,The School of Beast Taming, Beast Nest. The school teaches the arts of taming monsters. They are despise by the other schools for not using their own power but using power that is not their''s. The school have a strict recruitment standard as a student needs to have at least a bloodline of a animal in them. Last but not least, The School of Crafts&Arts, Natural. The school is divided into different sectors of arts and crafts. Students are to pick at least 4 subject.However,the school requirements are the strictest and hardest. The first requirement is to have the ability to craft a E+ quality object which is quite difficult for those with little training. The second requirement is to learn at least 2 craft or arts skill .However, any graduate from the school is immediately sought after for their skills. Although you can attain great fame, the school has a high expulsion rate of 75%. I am definitely going to Natural. I qualify for all the requirements and in order to be the best craftsman this is the first step I must take. I went to the booth for Natural to register, I then saw a group of children walking away in disappointment. I felt a shiver down my spine when I saw the person in charge, he look like a walking skeleton, surrounding him is an aura of death. I strengthen my resolve and walk courageously towards him. He inspected me from head to toe before nodding his head , then showing me the similar crystal orb from the ceremony. I saw many instructors of different school approaching me to recruit me into their school. I then turn back to the skeletal looking instructor and told him that I want to join Natural. "What a shame, he would have been a prodigy in AzurePhoenix. Haiz..."sighed the instructor of AzurePhoenix "I would rather he join Goldenfangs look at his body, it shows that he is well built and he learnt the craft of blacksmithing, he is like a gem for us."the instructor of Goldenfangs stated. "He could have been the one that will bring back glory for Beast Nest"said the instructor of Beast Nest. However, I have made my mind. In order to achieve my goals, I must enter Natural no matter what. The instructor for Natural told me to sign an exclusive contract that is only eligible for prodigies. The contract states that I cannot betray the school, I must attend at least 3 lessons everyday, I am given a full scholarship. I am also given a monthly allowance of 1 gold which to someone from a commoner family is a lot. If I were to break any of the rules, I will not only be expelled but will be hunted down to the ends of the world. I swallow a gulp of saliva when I saw that sentence, imagine an army of experienced hunters chasing you down. After signing the contract, I was given time to say my goodbyes to my parent. When I went home, I saw my parents waiting for me at the front of the house. I went and hug them for a moment before letting go. My tears flowed like a river, my parents are also shedding tears both of joy and reluctance. Is this what emotions feel like, when I was a God, I did not feel any of this so called emotions. After saying my goodbye, I step onto the teleportation pad that is supposed to teleport us to the academy. The next thing I saw is bright flashing light. Hiatus I wont be posting anything due to examinations for 2 months as this examination will affect my future.
