《Re: Globus Online (Completed)》 Chapter 1. Prologue I was just a normal Otaku enjoying the new game released... Globus Online. I put on the [Globe] as usual... The [Globe] was the helmet-like virtual reality gear that allowed me to log in and covered your entire head and the inside actually had a map of the world... Cool right? Wait... Who am I even talking to? Ah... No matter. Well... I logged into the game and played for a bit, got the tutorial out of the way... Did a couple quests and got a job and some not so beginner gear... When I came out of the game after I was satisfied with my progress... I noticed I was running out of ramen and other food! Even water! So I decided to go outside... I was in an out of the way country near a huge war... Luckily our country was neutral... Until yesterday I think it was...? Well... I atleast thought it wasn''t going to reach the backwater town I was in so soon... Well I was wrong. The moment I opened the front door of the apartment building I was in... I met a very friendly barrel. The barrel of a tank. Needless to say... In the middle of wartime... If there is one person coming out fearlessly, shoot him. And that is what happened to me... I got shot in the face by a tank... And I just wanted to refill the stocks to play even more Globus Online in peace... I never imagined i''d meet a tank that shot me in the face! Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.It was even my glorious first step out of the apartment building for the week! Well... Right now I am just hovering in an empty space. I have no idea what is happening and no idea of what to do... Until I hear something weird... It''s like the [Globe] booting up but not at the same time... It''s like somebody is booting up a new server for the game of Globus Online... Yes, I''ve heard how a new server was booted up because at the handing-out of the new game they also showed us how the game servers functioned and I heard how the servers started functioning so we could play... It sounded awfully familiar to that. But there is no way there is sound in this emtpy place... There is nothing here except me right? That is what I thought... Until this appeared infront of me.. And the land of Globus Online appeared below me... And that is how my story begun. Wait... Who am I talking to again! I really need to stop talking to myself about some kind of story. Well Yeah... I might have died but it could''ve been a dream! That means... I am going to be the MC of my own world!? Yes!!! Now to see what it looks like... *Ding* And a familiar screen popped up. Chapter 2. MC: "Hmm? Already set me a new race? Ah well... I always go with the Half-Elf race anyways so this is good." I continue onwards with the creation and mess around for a bit. There were some weird spots like Second Job and things like that but I payed no mind to it due to a new Patch being released soon so I thought it had something to do with that... Maybe the new patch got rid of my previous character? Too many questions... Not enough answers... I look at my Status once again. I currently have two screens infront of me. One is just a basic "Continue to World" screen and the other is my status.

"What is with all of these... [Hidden] things?! Why are there so many of them? What is going on!? Ah no matter! I''ll figure it out later! I just want to get into the game to see the new patch!" (Ethos) I click the Continue after closing my Status. After I click Continue it throws me into the Character View screen... "Isn''t this... My body? My real body...?" (Ethos) I am currently looking at a medium-weight human with pointy ears and blond hair... The eyes are reddish blue aswell. Exactly like my real life self.. Except the pointy ears. "I don''t want to look like my real self!" (Ethos) I start changing things around and remove all of the fat that was set to seventy five percent down to ten. If you go below ten you must be a zombie or skeleton race but nobody wants to pick those except to join some Undead Guild in-game. I did not pick any undead race so I can only go to ten percent. I still look very thin though... I keep changing things around and at the end I kept my eyes only. I made myself taller, almost two meters tall, green hair, blue and red eyes and ofcourse... The half-elf pointy ears. "Perfect... Absoloutely perfect... But I must say this once in my life... Aphrodite! Come take your male body back! It''s too dazzling!" (Ethos) "It''s your body idiot!" (???) "What the hell!? Who is there?!" (Ethos) "You called for me did you not!?" (???) "Where are you, who are you!?" (Ethos) "Look up!" (???) I look up and see a goddess... I am not kidding. A goddess. "Aphrodite?" (Ethos) "Yes! Finally you understood who I am! Well... It didn''t take you long though actually." (Aphrodite) "What the hell are you doing here?!" (Ethos) "Ah... Yes you would be confused if a real goddess just suddenly appeared above you but don''t! You are a god! Wait... That''s hard to believe right?" (Aphrodite) "A little yes." (Ethos) "Well... Let me explain to you what I mean exactly. Ethos... I think that is your new name right?" (Aphrodite) "Yes, that is my new name." (Ethos) "Ah good... Now let me explain. Ethos, you got shot in the face by a tank. Yes. A tank. It was funny for all us gods to see what the Creator wanted you to do... Oh and before you ask... The Creator is as you think, the creator of everything. The Creator created every god, world, dimension, universe and so on. He left us to grow and nurture and only recently he came back. Only to only look at you... We don''t know why but we did not care. But then he started doing things to your life... Like creating a war just to kill you. He told us it was just for amusement so we accepted it because we knew we couldn''t do much against him anyways... And now this. The Creator sent me to explain to you your new job! A job as a god!" (Aphrodite) "But why me? And why a god? And what job!?" (Ethos) "I''ll explain! We do not know anything about The Creator except he does things just for amusement. Infact... He blew up another dimension''s Jupiter just because it would''ve been fun to see what would''ve happened if it blew up and how it would affect the surroundings... Let''s just say Earth is now in a situation in that Dimension... And the God Job you have is... The Virtual Reality God! You are all-powerful in the VR world! But in the real world you are weaker than anything unless we allow you to use your powers and vice-versa." (Aphrodite) "Virtual... Reality... God?" (Ethos) "Yes. VR god. There is one requirement though...And that is you must do as many amusing things as possible." (Aphrodite) "Hmm... I can live with that. But isn''t this just a dream?" (Ethos) "I can cut off your arm if you want to test that out." (Aphrodite) "Nevermind! Now... I have one question... Am I going to be the Main Character...?" (Ethos) "Yup. Well... In this dimension yeah. So congratulations! You are the MC of a whole dimension! Make things fun!" (Aphrodite) "So that means... I can do ANYTHING in the VR world but not in the real world?" I spawned into a new forge in the slum area of the game! Wait... If I am a VR god... Doesn''t that mean... I open my status.

"What!?" (Ethos) My finger is shaking while I read my status once again... Aphrodite wasn''t kidding.. Wait let me check if this is a dream... I pinch my hand as hard as I can and rip off a piece of flesh and it hurts like hell... When I put the piece of flesh back where I ripped it form it starts melting back into it''s spot and it goes back to normal and no more pain... "What... The... Hell!? This ain''t a dream!? I really am god!?" (Ethos) I start laughing... What can I do!? I imagine a sword right infront of my anvil and it just appears... I inspect the sword using my Ability... Well... It''s kind of the most cheaty ability you can ever get in a VR game...

I start creating maces and other weapons and then trying to upgrade them using my [Heavenly Smith] title. I create things for a while until I notice somebody trying to look at my Status... Can I possibly take over the Globus Online servers to make sure I will never get deleted? "Aphrodite!!!" (Ehtos) "What the hell do you want now!?" (Aphrodite) "It worked! Aphrodite, Can I take over the Globus Online servers to make sure they cannot re-boot the server and get rid of my character?" (Ethos) "Let me go check with the Creator and other gods." (Aphrodite) Aphrodite momentarily leaves and comes back. "They say it''s fine. Do what you want to the servers and the VR world." (Aphrodite) "Yes! Thank you Aphrodite!" (Ethos) I jump closer to Aphrodite and hug her tightly before she leaves blushing. I then begin my little surprise... I begin taking over the entire GO (Globus Online) game servers and making sure they cannot reset it when they try to... And let me just change my status so they don''t know a God is doing this and think it''s just some kind of organization... - Meanwhile in the Globus Online company - A single worker is standing infront of his boss with a notepad in his hand. "Boss... We have a problem." (Worker) "What is the problem?" (Boss) "We found a major glitch in the system... A NPC-Smith can create weapons out of thin air and got the wrong title..." (Worker) "How did you find this?" (Boss) "The daily NPC-check just found this NPC who spawned in and found the glitch." (Worker) "Just re-boot the system." (Boss) "Yes sir!" (Worker) The worker leaves the office and the boss starts thinking how the Glitch got into the system. The worker comes back in after a few minutes and the worker is in a panicked state. "Sir! We have a problem! A major one!" (Worker) "What is it now!?" (Boss) "The systems... They have been taken over by something from inside the game! We cannot re-boot or restart or do anything to the systems except overheat them causing them to blow them up and we would lose years of research and money doing that!" (Worker) "What did you say!? Somebody from inside the game took it over?!" (Boss) Another worker opens the door and runs in. "Come look at this! There is something weird going on!" (Worker) The boss gets up and runs out with the two workers to look at the Servers where most of the workers are at right now. "What the hell is this!? Where is the backup code?! Why are there words!?" (Boss) "We do not know sir! The code to see what people are going into the game should be there but there are words!" (Tech Worker) The boss reads the words on the server screens that they installed near the Server Cores.

I have full control of these servers! Blow them up and you''ll lose years of planning and money because I have the backups too!

"What the hell!? You mean that glitch anomaly took us over?!" (Boss) A female worker who was just about to leave steps up. "Boss, I''ll go. I just recently got a [Globe] and I was planning to go to the 2nd starter city anyways." (Female Worker) "Please go, Jil, find out what this guy wants." (Boss) - A few minutes later, Ethos POV - Ah... That was fun messing with them a little... I did take over the servers so they wouldn''t reset the game and clearing my character... I don''t want to constantly create a new character every time they find me and nobody else would want that either right? It''s easier to just take this server over... I am currently standing by a fountain at the 2nd Starter City''s slums. Well... It''s the only place you can enter the Slums from so It should be easy for me to find the Jil they were talking about... I am currently tracking absoloutely every person logging in and out of Globus Online with a screen at the top-right corner of my vision. I also have a small mini-map at my bottom-right corner that allows me to see where players and NPC''s of importance are. I also have all my skills that are important to me at the right side and my left side is empty. Luckily the screens are transparent and I can see through them... I wait for a few more minutes and the person they called Jil comes up to me. "Heya Jil!" (Ethos) "Oh... Is that you... The person who took over our servers?" (Jil, Character name: Jeyla) "Heheheh... It is me." (Ethos) "So... You told our company to meet you here... But why did you take us over?" (Jil.) "Would you believe me if I said that if you reset the servers I would almost die? I mean... My life is now permanently stuck in the VR world... I am the god of the VR world but don''t tell anybody that." (Ethos) "No way am I going to believe that...." (Jil) "If you don''t believe me... You should in a few seconds." (Ethos) I show Jil a small bit of the data I get from the servers now and I show her the feed from the Server Core Room. "Any hacker can do that..." (Jil) "Then what do I need to do to make you believe me." (Ethos) "Hmm... Create something that isn''t supposed to be in this world and on Earth..." (Jil) I laugh a little... She doesn''t know what she just asked me. I point my hand up into the air and a beam of light appears from my hand and shoots into space. A asteroid circle suddenly appears around the world. "Something else please..." (Jil) "I don''t know what to show you. Earth and this world has so much things that there is nothing for me to show you except this." (Ethos) I show her my Status and she falls back in surprise after I show her the data feed that I talked to Aphrodite and that she unlocked this and not me. "Aphrodite... Hidden... What..." And I will inform you of the big changes that I will make in the world. First of all... I should name this world... Kuran. Yes Kuran. I shall announce that as the new name of this world because this world doesn''t have a name right?" (Ethos) "That is fine... But your family name?" (Jil) "It doesn''t matter. Well... I hope that your company decides to agree with my terms and leaves the servers alone and helps me with this world. I am a new god afterall..." (Ethos) "I''ll see what I can do..." (Jil) Jil logs out and I can see from the Server Core Room that she soon comes back up the stairs and tells her boss everything. They didn''t close the door so I can see and hear everything... These server cores are something different... Oh... The boss accepted my terms! Good! Well... Now to find out what all my powers can do! First of all... Announcing the new name of this world! I start running some programs in the servers and I shine a huge message over the world and one Screen Message to each player. The message announces the new Name of this world and as a joke I said that a new God has taken over this world and if you find him he will grant you one wish depending on the size of the wish. I wonder how they''ll react to this... Well I''ll grant them one small wish and not a big one like if they want to be some kind of royal... Fine. But if they want to take over a Kingdom or something bigger then I won''t accept it and I''ll give them something bad as a punishment for being too greedy. Now to see how this world reacts... To my new presence... I wonder what I should do next.... Go meet the King of the city? Go find the strongest being in the VR game? Ah... I don''t know... So many options... So much time... I don''t know... I then sit down on the fountain and start thinking of my next step. I do not want to grow to power too suddenly as that wouldn''t be fun. I want to take it slowly but surely and trigger a lot of events that I didn''t make and events that are created by me and such... Hmm... Should I make a new religion based around me? And give only one saint? Ah... Maybe. And I keep thinking for many hours after that. I truly wonder what I will do now... Chapter 3. Meetings. "Ah... I''ll just go meet the lord of this city! Why not?" (Ethos) I start walking towards the keep of th city in my... Smithing outfit... "Well.... This outfit won''t do at all... I need something more... Fancy." (Ethos) I focus on creating new pieces of clothing and finally create a long coat made out of leather, a pure-white shirt underneath the long coat and the long coat is open from the front. I also have pure-black pants and shoes and I have a fedora with a white line but is pure-black aswell. I just like the colour black a lot... And this outfit is perfect! I put on the new clothing on through using my inventory that comes with the game functions so I don''t have to undress... It''s way easier to do things thanks to the game functions and all of the screens. It''s annoying that I basically have admin rights though... I can ban or kick anybody from the game of Globus Online if I wished and I could also apparently make important NPC''s like quest givers or kings into A.I if I wanted to... There are a lot of other functions aswell... Like I could litteraly go into editor mode and change things around in the world if I wanted to. Well... That is what the editor mode says to me atleast. I really do not know what I can do in the Virtual Reality worlds due to me being all-powerful... Can I make new solar systems and add new worlds to explore? Or can I just press a ''random solar system'' button so I can have fun? I really have no idea... Ah... I''ll figure it out later. Right now I am standing infront of the Castle Gates and two guards are blocking my entrance with spears. "Hmm? Two guards? Can you please let me pass. I just need to speak with the king a bit." (Ethos) "No can do. The King has an important meeting with the lords of the realm so nobody can enter." (Guard) "Come on now... I won''t do anything... Just let me go inside... Before I force myself inside." (Ethos) "Hah! You don''t seem to have any power even! What can you do!" (Arrogant Guard) "Oi! Don''t say that! We don''t know who this guy is!" (Guard) I laugh a little and grab the arrogant guards hand. "Want to see what I can do?" (Ethos) I say that last part while my eyes are completely ice-cold and seem willing to kill a person or two or million. "Nevermind! Your eyes tell everything I need to know!" (Arrogant Guard) I let go of the man and return to my happy non-killing self. "Well? Can I enter?" (Ethos) "Fine. Just don''t cause any trouble... I don''t want to get demoted... Well it won''t be as bad as death but still..." (Guard) "Ah, thank you! As a reward for being understanding... How much do you get payed?" (Ethos) "Five silver coins a month... Barely enough to get by..." (Guard) "Can you show me a silver coin?" (Ethos) "Sure." (Guard) The guard brings out a silver coin engraved with a falcon at the front and two feathers at the side. I look at the other side of the coin and it is the exact same. "Hmm... Well, here you go!" (Ethos) With one swipe of my hand the coin in the man''s hand starts multiplying into sixteen silver coins. "That should be enough for a month or two or even three if you spend it wisely." (Ethos) The guard looks at his hand that had one coin but now has sixteen coins and then looks at me in surprise. "How... Can I thank you enough... I was going to ask for more money from my captain today because my son was sick... But now I have enough money for one month and for my son''s medicine! Thank you!" (Guard) "Hahah! You don''t need to thank me so much. If you need anything... Just ask God. The Virtual Reality god." (Ethos) I laugh a little while entering. The Arrogant guard looks at his pal and then at me and seems dissapointed that he got nothing. If you are arrogant towards an unknown person who might me the most important man in the world currently then ofcourse you get nothing! I keep walking towards the keep and reach it pretty fast. There are four different guards, and by different I mean their coat of arms, standing infront of the door. Well... I did see a lot of different guards that had different coats of arms running around the place. I walk towards the guards and they notice me. "Halt! What is your business here?" (Guard) "I just came to meet the King! I have some things to discuss with him." (Ethos) "Do you have the letter of entrance?" (Guard) "No... But you can make an exception for me right?" (Ethos) "Sorry, but I can''t. There is an important meeting going on and I don''t need a random man just walking into there and causing trouble..." (Guard) "Please? Pretty please?" (Ethos) "Sorry! But you cannot enter!" (Guard) "Fine... I''ll just break the wall then." (Ethos) I walk to the side of the gate and the guards look at me like I am joking. I stop a few meters away from the gate and look at the wall. The next moment my fist comes into contact with the wall and the wall blows up and rocks fly everywhere and I walk into the keep. The guards look at me with their jaws dropped and their spears are on the ground. "I told you I was going to break the wall." (Ethos) I laugh and walk in. I look around to make sure I hurt nobody and I see that I broke into the wine storage room... There is a lot of wine on the ground and a lot of barrels everywhere. "Oops... Well... It''s not wise to cry about spilt wine." (Ethos) I keep walking through the wine storage room and notice that I should probably fix the wall. I turn to the wall and use my imagination to return the wall to it''s original state. I then walk out of the storage room into the hallway. At the end of the hallways there are doors, typical... Well.. It''s seems that is the way to go because there are two heavily armored guards over there... I walk towards the heavily-armored guards that are wearing metal full-suits and have longswords in their hand. "Halt!" (Guard) "Stop with the Halting! I already got stopped by two bands of guards... If I am already in the keep it means that I have access everywhere!" (Ethos) "Well... Go on then..." (Guard) Hahah! It worked! My angry persuasion worked! I go past the guards and walk through the door just to find the meeting room. At the end of the table is the king due to the crown on his head, next to him is the Queen probably... Next to the Queen is probably the Princess... And then the lords of the realm... So many lords... Fifteen? I count fifteen lords. "Who are you?" (King) "I am Ethos Kuran, Half-elf god." (Ethos) "What is with the god part?" (Princess) "It''s what my race is... I am god..." (Ethos) "No way! There is no god setting at the begi-" (Princess) The princess suddenly shuts up... At the beginning? "Wait... Is the royal family... Players?!" (Ethos) "No... We are not part of the Travelers if you are asking that." (King) "Hmm... So it''s only the Princess then..." (Ethos) I start slowly walking towards the princess and I can see that every lord has their hand on their swords and the king does too. They really are on edge... Well if a man suddenly barged in and claimed he was god anybody would be on edge or laughing. "Princess, can I ask you a question in private?" (Ethos) "No." (Princess) "Why not?" (Ethos) "Because you might try something funny!" (Princess) "Then I''ll ask it here... Are you a player and not an NPC?" (Ethos) The princess seems panicked by my question. Guess my suspicions were right... "Ah, you don''t need to answer. I already got it from your reaction. I am surprised they let a player become part of the royal family..." (Ethos) "Damn you! I was hoping to keep it a secret that I took over their daughters body! Damn you, Ethos Kuran!" (Princess) "Hahah! I can easily erase the memories of every NPC here probably. I just need to over-write their data and that will be it." (Ethos) "You... Can do that?" (Princess) "Well... I am God and I have Admin rights and I can do anything I want in this world. If I wanted to I could probably just make this world dissapear into thin air but that would be no fun." (Ethos) "Please make it so their data-memory does not remember that I am actually a player!" (Princess) Hmm... Wait... Data-memory... "Oi, princess... Are the lords of the realm and the Royal Family not NPC but... A.I?" (Ethos) "Yes... They are Artificial Intelligence..." (Princess) "So my suspicions were correct about A.I! Well... Let me just erase their memories of ever hearing about you being a player." (Ethos) The lords and the royal family are shocked by our talks and I pull up their data. It''s actually quite simple... There is their family name, age, real name and abilities and so on that I can overwrite and then the most recent memories and data that is being processed. Luckily I learnt about coding when I was in High School and University before I became a life-long Otaku... And I am not kidding about life-long... I already loved anime and manga and light novels from the age of six when I got my hands on my first manga... Well... Now back to changing their A.I memories... Just a few codes to delete and a few to mix and a few to change. It''s really simple throwing some useless code away like pride. Oops... I shouldn''t have thrown out pride... Let me just put the Pride code back in. After a while of having fun with coding the King and all of the lords here I stop. I changed only their memories but I had a lot of fun searching through their A.I thinking patterns and such. Apparently all of their political and war-related things are connected to the Pride code originally. I severed a few connections between useless things what would''ve made just more bloodshed and useless NPC deaths happen. I minimize the coding screen and throw it back up to it''s original spot at the top right corner of my sight so it doesn''t interfere much. "Done!" (Ethos) "What took you so long?" (Princess) "Sorry... I had fun messing around with code. I''ll boot their A.I programming back up now." (Ethos) With just one click of a button in the Admin console I reboot all the A.I in the room. I quickly check the Event list too... "Whoa... I am currently messing around with an event..." (Ethos) "What do you mean, Ethos?" (Princess) "After this conversation a civil war is supposed to break out due to half of the realm vassals not agreeing to the King going to war with a stronger kingdom." (Ethos) I ofcourse whispered that to the Princess because I do not wish to mess with this Event a little too much... It seems like a major event in the game that determines the Kingdom''s state so yeah... The King and the other lords wake up and continue their talks without noticing I am here. I summon a chair for myself and sit next to the Princess. The Princess blushes a little after I sit next to her but then calms down. "Princess... How did you get to be part of the royal family?" (Ethos) "Call me Iris and I have connections to the higher-ups of the Globus Online company..." (Iris) "Connections huh?" (Ethos) "I have a question for you aswell... I start re-creating the city of Atlantis and start coding a new Event next to it. It takes me three hours to fully code an event and re-code the entire Atlantis City and it''s functions... I quickly start creating the Basic Atlantian look... A blue-skinned human with pointy fish ears and fish-like features due to it being underwater for so long... Yeah that should do fine. I''ll let them customize a lot of things but the fish-like features stay... The gills must definetly stay so they can breathe underwater... The Atlantian race can breathe underwater and above ground but they are at their best underwater due to them being able to swim very fast underwater compared to the other race that are currently available to the players... What else should I add.... Oh yeah! Water magic resistance and fire magic weakness! A little bit weak to Wind and earth but not too much... And natural Water Magic talent... Yeah that should be all... I press finish and make the Atlantian race truly available for the players to choose as a starting race. I notice that Jil and Iris are logging back in... They are creating new characters? Hmm... Let me see their process... I bring up the coding area and teleport myself to their character creation area way up in the sky... Basically in space already. (Ethos) I make myself fall through the floor right infront of Iris and fall down to the world of Kuran like a meteor but just a second away from crashing into the ground I stop my entire body mid-air and land down gracefully. I bring out my coding screen and start creating a brand-new Event for a new religion. After an hour of fiddling around with the coding screen I finally finish my Religion Creation Event... Now all that is left to do is start the event and one random NPC will be chosen as a ''Saint'' to find and that ''Saint'' will grant the Holy Paladin class or another Holy class to a player and the Player must help the ''Saint'' grow his religion large enough to get a Church. Basically two quests connected to eachother. And... Begin! And the notification is up!

Somebody from the slums of the 2nd starter city is now a Holy Saint of a new Religion. Now... To wait for Jil and Iris to come... Is Jil her real name even? I''ll ask her... Oh... There is there they are. It''s funny how I can tell the difference between their code and the other peoples code even though each code is really similiar until they do something others haven''t done. Jil and Iris spawn a few meters away from me. I minimize every screen I had open before and put them in their original spots. I approach the two girls who are looking around Atlantis with open eyes. "Heya!" (Ethos) "Ethos! You did all of this?" (Jil) "Yup. Amazing right? I took things from Greek and Roman ages and their building patterns and tried my best to mix them into this. I also made different parts of the city and I connected them with bridges." (Ethos) "It''s truly... Brilliant... I didn''t think something like this... Could ever be real." (Iris) "Should we go and get a snack? I made a food district over at the... Southern Island I think it was... Let me check." (Ethos) I bring up my map and check the Southern part of the Island and it is dedicated to food. "Yup. Definetly the southern part." (Ethos) "Sure. (Iris) We begin walking towards the Southern District of the City of Atlantis. A lot of people are spawning in as Atlantians now... "What boosts do you get as an Atlantian? I didn''t properly read through it all... I read only about the Magic part of them because I am leaning towards becoming a magician..." (Iris) "If you read about the magic part then you''ll be fine. Atlantians fight best in water due to them being underwater so long. Anybody who wants to become a water mage should start as an Atlantian. Atlantians can also breathe underwater unlike other races. It was hard coding the pattern to it so it feels like you are swimming underwater while still feeling like you are above the water so you can immediatly breathe without having to get used to it." (Ethos) "So it''s good to stick to water for Atlantians huh?" (Jil) "Yeah. Also Jil... I have a question for you." (Ethos) "Yeah?" (Jil) "What is your real name? Well not a lot but still a couple scratches that could hurt. Water starts coming out from behind me out of a few hollow pipes and I put the girls down like if they would be on a ride. The water pushes us downwards and sends us to the Southern Island faster than walking or jogging. "Like my surprise? I made it so that if somebody steps on the bridge and stands at the beginning for five seconds it turns into a small little ride. It''s fast aswell." (Ethos) The girls are having fun and the ride doesn''t suddenly stop but starts slowing down a lot and in the end right before the Southern Island we stop and I get up. Iris and Jil get up too. "That was really fun!" (Iris) "I know!" (Jil) "Well... Shall we go and eat?" (Ethos) The girls nod and we go to one of the restaurants around the District. I left it to the hands of the Food Shop A.I program that runs when a new area has been designated by an admin as a food area. I set some areas to a Restaurant area so they automatically made Restaurants in the buildings I set. It''s really good that they have such a function... It would be annoying coding every single stall... Me and the girls eat for a while and don''t talk much because the girls were enjoying the food. Luckily the A.I understood that this is a city near the sea or more precisely... On the sea... So it made most restaurants serve a lot of sea food. A.I''s that go by a certain program but still have some free reign are useful... I used a lot of different programs to help me create this city though... No way am I coding every single shop or smithy that is around the city... After we ate we left the restaurant and went to the Guild to register ourselves. Jil was familiar with the process because she was one of the people who helped test out the Guild System. She made me the leader though... No matter... We are currently looking at the quests we can do. "So... What shall our first quest be, oh so great leader?" (Jil) "Stop that Jil. Our first quest shall be... Dealing with these goblins. Should be easy for you girls right? I won''t interfere because that would be too easy with my strength..." (Ethos) "Yeah, that should give us a few levels... And because Iris is a mage and I am going towards the Knight class it should be fine." (Jil) "Iris? Your thoughts?" (Ethos) "It''s fine with me. Our goblin quest is nearby the bridge so it should take a short time to get there... But why do I feel like that quest I talked about is going to activate even with me not doing anything to it? (Ethos) I turn around and one of them seems to recognize me... This does not mean well... And It''s the heavily-armored Tank-class player! "Is that you, Idiot Otaku!?" When I first played Globus Online I also heard this click and then found myself in a pool of blood with one HP remaining and many dead mobs around me and a lot of screens infront of me... We talk about the NPC and A.I thing until Jil remembers that the company had a plan to make the 90% gameplay turn into almost 95% by turning every NPC into A.I''s by using an entire room-worth of server cores. We also talked about my split-personality until we agreed never to talk about it again due to Jil being scared of thinking of my split-personality for too long. "Well... We cleared the quest... I soon wake up and Iris and Jil are up aswell. It is time for a new adventure. Chapter 6. Bodyguarding begins. Me, Iris and Jil are currently at the Guild. We are picking a quest to complete because we finished the goblin one. We also became C-class adventurers. The adventurer ranking system goes like this (Lowest to Highest): F, D, C, B, A, AA, S, SS. Apparently the Goblin Quest was a D-class quest but because of the Goblin King we got more rewards. I don''t know how we could just walk out of here with that quest but no matter... What''s done is done. "How about this one? It says just to bodyguard people in an academy due to a recent attack. Seems simple..." (Jil) "Yeah, it does. But look at the Rank it is given. A-class quest." (Ethos) "I think it''s a good idea though. Ethos, you will protect us if things go wrong. We could also train at the academy probably." (Iris) "True... There probably are low-leveled monsters near the academy... There also might be training dummies in the academy... Fine, let''s pick this quest. But if something goes wrong, don''t blame me." (Ethos) "We won''t. We picked the quest after all." (Jil) "Let''s go then." (Ethos) We grab the quest poster and register it so we are doing that quest. The person who was helping us register it constantly asked us if we didn''t pick the wrong quest and I answered her No all the time... We finish registering it and leave the Guild House. "Jil, Iris. You need better weapons and armour." (Ethos) "Yeah, we do..." (Jil) "Armour shops first. If the enemy kills you before you can kill it, no use in a strong weapon." (Ethos) "True. Let''s go then!" (Jil) We head to the Armour shops at the Blacksmithing district. I don''t buy anything for myself but I buy something better than the basic armour it gave to Jil and Iris when they spawned... After our little shopping in the armour shops Jil had light-armour because we can''t afford better without me using my own summoned gold and Iris had a blue robe that reached to the knees. The blue robe helped water magic power and the casting time decreased. We head over to the weapon shops in the blacksmithing district and get Jil a longsword and Iris a mage staff. "You two look a lot better now." (Ethos) "Indeed... These stat boosts are good aswell compared to the basic armour we were given before." (Jil) "Yeah... And I like this much better..." (Iris) "Let''s go and meet the headmaster of the academy we are supposed to bodyguard. They should arrive in this town by carriage in a few minutes if the quest is correct." (Ethos) "Yeah, let''s go." (Iris) We go to the center and wait for a bit and a decorated carriage stops infront of us. An old man with a beard to his waist walks out. "So you three are the people who are going to bodyguard my academy huh? Jump on, adventurers." (Headmaster) We get on the carriage and ride somewhere while talking to the Headmaster. Our duty is just to protect the students because the teachers can handle themselves in a fight... And we can also destroy the Academy if it protects the students. It''s either a royals academy or the headmaster really cares for the students... We ride for a couple days and reach a huge academy with walls and a gate, behind the gate I can see maids and butlers already there and a fountain behind the maids and butlers. We get out of the carriage with the headmaster and the carriage goes somewhere else. The gate opens and we walk in with the headmaster. "Welcome back, Headmaster!" (Maids and Butlers) "I''m back. I can hear everything... Fifteen minutes pass and a bell rings. The teacher enters the class immediatly and everybody sits down. I get up. "Hello students, we have a new person with us today... He won''t be studying with us but will be protecting us instead. Please introduce yourself." (Teacher) She shows towards me and I step up a little. "I am Ethos Kuran. Nice to meet you all. (Ethos) The class goes by fast and because I have god powers I already knew everything but they were talking about the political situation in this world. I stay the entire school day there and when the students leave to their dorms I leave to the small house the maids told me to go. Iris and Jil are already in the house and established dominance over the only two beds in the entire house... Guess the couch is my new bed. I enter the house and Iris seems completely exhausted and Jil is tired. "What happened?" (Ethos) "A bunch of girls came to fight us... We didn''t want to hurt them too much..." (Iris) "Hahah! The men probably won''t speak so they are useless. Iris and Jil could probably convince the woman... The men seem to be way more well trained than her viewing their movements..." (Ethos v2) They all run at me but the woman is doing sloppier and slower movements and is wasting time with some useless movements while the other assassin''s are doing professional looking ones. "Sad... So many fine assassin''s tried to murder somebody while I was protecting the academy..." (Ethos v2) I grab the woman in an instant and pin her to a tree. "Stay here... I''ll be back for you. You seem new to the assassin business anyways." (Ethos v2) I use earth magic to make a small cage for her and leave. My grin returns as I instantly teleport to a man''s body and grab his dagger. The men are running towards the women with the intent to shut her up huh? No can do... I teleport infront of them and instantly cut their tendons so they fall down face first. "Bad assassin''s, very bad. You almost killed the only person who would be willing to give me information... And I still need to convince her that assassination is bad..." I''m slowly caressing the fairy''s head while casting some healing magic to restore her stamina. "Umm.... We did... The one who hired the Assassin''s was a Marquis... The Marquis of Maernolia... One of the King''s favourite aristocrats... And by the king I mean the King whose daughter I was before..." (Iris) "So I still have to involve myself with affairs of the kingdoms huh? This is going to bring so much trouble upon my back it''s going to be annoying... Especcially because most of the NPC''s are now full unshackled A.I''s that think for themselves... I still don''t know how your servers can handle that much, Jil." (Ethos) "Well... We only used a portion of our real servers to boot the game and set it up... All of it is not used yet... But when the A.I''s started unshackling themselves the servers started booting up without us doing anything. We couldn''t even shut them down. Currently every single server that our company has all over the world is being used... And it''s barely keeping us in the green. The VR game was a huge success and we have a lot of money thanks to that and the game can function for atleast a hundred years now but we still need money for other projects to improve the game..." (Jil) "Ah, so money is the problem again? Hmm... If I was reincarnated in the game... Can it still be called a game though? Games are usually created by us and we call it another ''world'' but this is a real world now. Well... Time will show us the answers. It''s like the personification of Dawn is sitting on my palm... "Umm... Where am I... Ethos..." (Kyra) She keeps looking around and then realizes that she fainted and I caught her. She tries to fly but falls back down onto my palm. "Don''t push yourself, Kyra. I''ll introduce everybody. Well... They will introduce themselves." (Ethos) "Hello, Kyra... I am Iris. It''s nice to meet you." (Iris) "Hello. My name is Jil. It''s nice to meet you." (Jil) "Hello.... My name is... Emilia..." (Emilia) "Ah... It''s nice to meet you all... As Ethos said... I am Kyra." Due to Ethos capturing one of the Assassins the Event has turned into a big one. A marquis of a kingdom had hired the assassins and now it is up to the group that is involved with the Event to bring him to justice.

Bring up the Event screen to see what I am talking about. Emilia, you too probably." (Ethos) They bring up their event screen and look at the Quest Event. "This... Just got a lot more serious." (Iris) Chapter 10. Marquis "We might have a slight problem..." (Ethos) "Why?" (Jil) "If one of us gets captured and interrogated we lose. I could easily destroy the entire mansion the Marquis is probably in but that would be too obvious. I could teleport in and kill him... But that would leave you out in the open for anybody to see you. I''d have to go alone or we''d have to poison him. Emilia?" (Ethos) "I don''t have poison... I''m not allowed to carry it with me at my current rank in the assassin''s guild..." (Emilia) "Hmm... Guess it''s a raid time. We''ll have to cover it up somehow aswell... Let''s first get to the Marquis... Where might he be at anyways?" (Ethos) "Probably at his manor in the middle of his province. He is always there because he thinks it''s the safest place for him." (Iris) "Thanks Iris. Let''s get moving. Our bodyguarding quest is done anyways probably... It''s more like we were guarding our bodies from the students..." (Ethos) I put all my things in my inventory and the girls go do the same in their rooms. We soon after leave towards the province that I looked up with the map I have. "I can teleport us all there, do you want to?" (Ethos) "Yes... The manor is a little too far for me..." (Emilia) "It''d be nice." (Iris) "Then let us teleport." (Ethos) I bring up the map and look at the coords before teleporting us there. I teleport us a little bit further away from the manor not to get caught immediatly. "Ok... Here''s the plan. We sneak in through a window on the side, we find the Marquis while avoiding everybody and if somebody spots us, kill them or knock them out... Once we find the Marquis I will quickly kill him and we will run away from the mansion before they catch us." (Ethos) "Alright." (Iris) We go to the left side of the manor and sneak in through a window that I silently remove using magic. The room we went into was just an empty room with a single painting of a dead man with a sword though his head on a battlefield on a wall. I silently open the door and signal the others to get closer. When I notice that Kyra is a little less... Sneaky... By the way of she can be really easily spotted... I stuff her in my pocket and she falls asleep in there a few seconds after I stuff her in there. We enter the hallway and I look at the Manor map that admins have... I''m cheating but who cares? It''s either I lose all relations... Well I could override the system to make it no minuses but that woudl be no fun right? "This way..." (Ethos) We go to the back of the Manor where a guard is sitting infront of a huge door. The guard has heavy armour and a claymore... I use my speed to quickly remove the head of the guard and drag his body to the empty room in one second. I peek through the huge door and see the Marquis eating with a lot of other NPC''s around the table... All of them are... Slaves? I look around the room more only to find half-beast NPC slaves chained to the wall and only human slaves are eating... So racial discrimination is going on here aswell huh? Should I make an appearance as the ''God of Virtual Reality'' and tell that even beast-man slaves are the same as human slaves? Nah... I won''t make my appearance yet. My church isn''t that big. I''ll just walk in, kill him, shut the slaves up and leave. "Girls, if you can please quickly shut up the slaves before they make a fuss the moment I kill the Marquis." (Ethos) The girls nod and I open the door and charge the Marquis at Mach Four speed and smash him into the wall, blood flying everywhere. His body litteraly turned into a splatter of blood due to the sudden 0 to Mach Four speed change and then quickly back to zero so suddenly... This novel''s true home is a different platform. I silently move towards the beast-man slaves and get rid of their collars. The girls do the same on the human slaves and then let them go. The slaves silently ate and then left. I teleport us back to the house at the academy and the girls sit down discussing about how to spend the levels wisely. I notice a golden dot on the minimap and immediatly run towards it but the moment I see it, it dissapears... I only caught a glimpse of it... It seemed like Aphrodite... The hairstyle and face was same... But I can''t be sure as I saw the dot for only a split second. The dot was on the second floor in an empty room and there was a hole in the wall looking straight at the couch area... Who was that...? Ah no matter. I''ll need to talk with the Academy headmaster for our quest to finish. I''ll look for the golden dot later... ---- In Heaven, A certain goddesses room. ---- "He.. Almost saw me!" (???) "What do you mean he almost saw you Aphrodite! Why were you on his domain in the first place!?" (???) "Well... It''s just... You know about it don''t you Hera! I never thought making a normal otaku into a god would be this amusing! That Fairy annoys me though... I know Hera sent it for all the female goddesses to see what he is doing but it just takes the fun out of things... I''ll need to remove it somehow. Maybe replace it with Hera? Aphrodite? The forums are really interested in my religion and the saint has been found... The NPC''s are also turning into my religion and about half the 2nd starter city NPC''s are my religion and a couple players have also converted into my religion... There are many religions in Kuran aka Globus Online so it''s fun seeing mine expanding quite fast. "So... How''s it going with your religion?" (Aphrodite) "It''s fine. It has taken over half of the 2nd city. It''s actually expanding quite fast compared to the other religions in Kuran. Luckily the A.I system that governs the religions gave really good bonuses to my religion so anybody who converts into my religion gets stat boosts and NPC''s can do their work better..." (Ethos) "It''s nice to see such a thing... I wonder if your religion will expand into the real world aswell." (Aphrodite) Aphrodite is blushing a lot and trying her hardest to keep the conversation going. Seems like she is trying to look for a new conversation topic huh... "What are you going to do now?" (Hera) And Hera takes the lead now... "I don''t really know. I''m going to talk to the Headmaster about the bodyguarding thing and if I complete it i''ll find a new quest to do. Something that involves less girls going after me and less boys going after Jil and Iris... Maybe a quest that involves killing some kind of monster over and over so the girls could grind levels for themselves. Jil and Iris are pretty low-leveled... Below eight levels I think it was..? I don''t keep track of their levels much... If they need help then i''''ll just step in and kill the thing giving them trouble and stay back again." (Ethos) "Hmm? Levels?" (Aphrodite) "Oh yeah... Iris''s. The Fairy did go with Iris today didn''t she... I run and open the door.... What I see isn''t a fairy and Iris. I see a dragon-like girl and Iris... Iris is under her sheets with her eyes staring at the dragon-like girl who is ontop of her sleeping and seemingly just climbed ontop of her as she logged back in... "So... I let her use my lap as a pillow while waiting for Jil, Iris and Emilia to come down after logging in. Currently only Jil and Iris are online but Emilia should come online aswell soon. I could leave Emilia here so she could find a new job because I don''t know if she wants to stay with me... I''ll ask her later. I look at Kyra... So the person whose toy I am made a fairy a dragon who can transform into a human-ish thing... You can tell she is a dragon due to her scaley skin and horns and a tail aswell... Luckily the Creator has some dignity and gave her clothing... Even though it is just cloth wrapped around her like a slaves... It''s something atleast. I really don''t want Kyra to wake up naked and on my lap... It would freak her out a little too much. We walk for a bit to the main campus and we go to the Headmaster''s room that I saw while I was heading to the Third Class. I open the door with Kyra still sleepily hanging over my shoulder... Well I picked her up and put her in a sitting position but over time she adjusted it into a way that she is basically just hanging on my shoulder... When I open the door I see the headmaster looking at a wand. "Headmaster. I have come to speak with you about the bodyguarding quest." (Ethos) "Ah Ethos. I''ve been wondering when you''d come. And about the bodyguarding quest.. You finished it a while ago didn''t you? When you got rid of the assassins it was finished. I''ll give you the reward here..." (Headmaster) The headmaster picks up the wand and a bag from a drawer and throws the wand towards Iris and the bag to me. I catch it and Iris catches the wand. I quickly inspect the wand as I already felt the objects inside the bag were coins...

Hmm... I guess Iris got a really nice staff just now. "Thank you, Headmaster. I shall now go. Girls, hold hands and Iris and Jil hold my hands. I''m about to teleport us out of here and it''s quite new to me how to use it on a large group so this is a precaution..." (Ethos) The girls nod and make a ring. Kyra still holds onto my shoulder and drags herself up to use my shoulder as a chair... I prepeare to teleport us out with my magic and I set a timer to teleport us out in three seconds and in that three seconds I grab Iris''s and Jil''s hands and we teleport out of there and back into the guild where we got the quest from. "That worked. I really need to get familiar with the teleportation magic honestly... I could use the commands but it''s more fun using magic to distort reality." (Ethos) The ring dissolves and the girls walk next to me in the order of meeting me... I see I get alot of jealous views from men in the guild due to having so many girls following me probably... One of them is even sitting on my shoulder. I go to the quest board and look at the quests... There was one for exterminating goblins and one for exterminating Kobolds. The kobolds one had a higher quest ranking so I took that one. I walk out of the guild house in Atlantis and the goddesses and Emilia and even Kyra look around in amazement. "Do you like it? I designed it and rebuilt it from a ruin under the water. It was easy coding it to re-appear as Atlantis." (Ethos) "I love it... It''s so beautiful... I think Hestia and Seshat would love this... And yes, I do know of Seshat and other Egyptian gods. I had a party with them once... Hestia and Seshat had a heated discussion about which type of architecture was better and more stable and easier to use... In the end Hephaestus just came in and told them all about castles made out of stone so they calmed down and talked about combining their architecture types and started arguing again! I laughed the entire time they were arguing!" (Aphrodite) Aphrodite and Hera start laughing again and we head towards the Kobolds that the Quest told us about. It should be in the same forest as the Goblins but just a little bit further inwards there should be the camp for the Kobolds... Time to see what Jil, Emilia and Iris can do. Character Appearances. He has a fedora with a white line but he only occasionaly wears it. Iris - Iris is an Atlantian Mage. She is short, one meter seventy centimeters, flat-chested girl. She wears mage robes in-game. She has black hair and green eyes. She has delicate skin and is fragile in-game and in reality. Her race in-game is Atlantian aka she has blue skin and pointy fish-like ears and gills. Jil - Jil is an Atlantian warrior. She is the same height as Ethos, almost two meters, but is a little bit shorter. She has brown hair to her shoulders and she has good bust aka a C-cup. She usually wears armour in-game and the basic shirt and pants underneath the armour. She doesn''t look very muscly but you can still see some in-game and in reality. She is also an Atlantian and has it''s features like Iris. Emilia - Emilia is a human assassin. She has black hair like Iris. She has brown eyes. She has a big bust aka a DD-Cup and her body is practically built to seduce people. Her real-self is the same as her in-game self (but Ethos doesn''t know it but you do know now.). Chapter 13. Kobolds. We reach the bridge that connects Atlantis City to the mainland and during that time I got Kyra some actual clothing. She is wearing a violet dress with no patterns or anything. Just a plain old violet dress... It suits her though. We go over the bridge and head towards the assumed location of the Kobold Camp. My mini-map says the Kobolds are there and something else is there aswell... A Kobold lord by the looks of things. We go to the forest and enter the Kobold''s camp silently. I pick up the two goddesses and the goddesses grab Kyra and I jump ontop of a tree. We came here to let these three train afterall... The three girls nod after talking about something and Emilia starts silently killing the Kobold scouts huh... I''m guessing Jil and Iris will fight the Kobold Lord and it''s minions after Emilia clears the scouts... Emilia kills the last scout and Iris starts casting a mid-tier water spell huh... Jil is running in and Emilia is backstabbing then while their attention is on Jil. A pretty good tactic I must say. Simple, but good. The real fight begins soon though... This is about to get real fun isn''t it? The Kobolds that gathered here because of the Lord have been killed after half an hour of fighting and casting spells... Well the trio down there were doing everything while we were watching. The two goddesses leaned on me and Kyra fell asleep on my lap, curled into a ball... "ROAAAAR!" (Kobold Lord) "Damn it! Iris, run back!" (Jil) I turn my attention to the trio and see that Iris is facing the Kobold Lord and Jil is running from behind Iris but it seems she doesn''t have enough time huh... Emilia... Has enough time. Infact she is already jumping to stab the Lord from behind. The kobold lord swings his sword at Iris. Emilia stabs the kobold lord in the back and the Kobold Lord''s attack barely grazes Iris''s hand. If it would''ve hit... Iris would''ve been cut in half. I would''ve jumped in if Emilia was in a worse position but luckily she was behind the Lord in a good spot... The minions are dead aswell due to their careful planning and avoiding of the Kobold Lord until now... Iris regains her composure and starts running away from the Lord as Jil runs towards it... Jil has no shield so she has to either Parry or Block with her sword instead of blocking and attacking at the same time. The Kobold Lord swings at Jil while using his free hand to try to grab Emilia who is holding onto it''s fur and stabbing it''s back constantly while trying to hold on... Jil parries the attack and swings at the Kobold Lord and cuts it''s stomach... The Kobold''s health is at 75% even with the backstabbing... I take a look at the trio''s health... Emilia is full, Jil is around eighty percent... Iris is around thirty... One attack and seventy percent of Iris''s health? I know she is a mage but still.. That''s a bit too much... I open the Lord''s status window.

Hmm... Illfangs huh? Level seventeen boss... The girls are around ten... Five to Seven levels higher. They should be able to kill Illfangs... I hope. If they can''t i''ll step in so they don''t die and lose some levels and items. His stats are 93 but the strength stat is 102 points more? That explains the hit... Rather it was only a graze but still so much damage... Understandable actually. Mages don''t have much defence and the boss''s strength stat is unreasonably high. This is an Unique boss aswell. Unique bosses always mean trouble in games. The Kobold Lord starts shaking it''s back and Emilia flies off it''s back. Jil takes the chance to stab the Kobold in the eye and does a critical hit... This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.The Kobold Lord has a little bit of fur on it''s back and nowhre else huh... It''s big aswell. About five or five and a half meters in length and it''s pretty wide. It has a sword that is about two meters long and swings that around... The skin of the Kobold Lord is blue. It''s a funny looking Kobold Lord if I say so myself. "Iris! Attack the eyes! It''s a weak spot! Emilia! If possible do the same!" (Jil) Iris finishes a spell and casts it. A ball of water that starts spinning flies straight towards the Kobold Lord''s eye. Another critical hit. Emilia gets up and runs towards the Kobold Lord and jumps on it''s head and starts stabbing it in the eye. Three critical hits until the Kobold Lord grabs Emilia and throws her onto the ground... I take a look at their HP again. The Kobold Lord is in the red, twenty five percent health with five critical hits... Emilia has only thirty percent health left, Jil has recovered a little bit... Eighty nine percent health. Iris has recovered a lot and has sixty percent health. The Kobold Lord uses Screech but it doesn''t reach us on the treetop but it seems to hurt the three below... Emilia seems to be confused as she is swinging air. Jil regained her composure and blocked an incomming attack. Iris covered her ears fast enough to not be affected too much but it seems she is slightly confused as she casts a spell but it barely misses the Kobold''s face. Jil hits the Kobold Lord once and the blue colour it had turned into a red-ish one... I guess this is the Rage thing. Emilia snaps out of it and immediatly charges the Kobold from the side while Iris snapped out of it and shot a ball of water into it''s face and Jil attacked it''s leg to make it stumble. The three attacks hit at the same time and the Kobold Lord loses it''s unharmed eye and now is completely wet ontop of that and is also on it''s knee... The Kobold Lord panicks and swings it''s blade frantically. Emilia sneaks up behind it and stabs it in the neck while Jil parries an attack and stabs the Kobold in it''s stomach and Iris shoots a spinning water ball in it''s face. The Lord dies while screaming and the three girls fall down in exhaustion. I jump down the tree while grabbing Kyra. The goddesses float down gracefully and we walk to the trio who are panting on the ground out of exhaustion. "You did good. I was about to jump in and help Iris but I saw Emilia behind the Lord. Also... I''m proud of you all. This one was an Unique lord. You should''ve gotten a lot of XP and levels. How much did you get?" (Ethos) "Five... Levels.." (Jil) "Hahah... I got... Six." (Iris) "Four..." (Emilia) Kyra wakes up from her small nap and stands up. "I''ll cast some magic to heal you and get rid of your exhaustion." (Ethos) I walk to Iris who was the closest to me and cast some water magic and Light magic and a tiny bit of Nature Magic and heal her while also taking care of her exhaustion. The three magic types each have a ''Healing'' spell and the Nature one also has a side-effect of taking away exhaustion. Nature magic is hard to learn for regular humans and players but not for me. The three get up and start slowly walking towards the City. I look towards the goddesses and they look towards me. They nod and I approach Iris while Hera approaches Emilia and Aphrodite approaches Jil. We pick them up in a princess carry and Kyra immediatly jumps onto my shoulder. We walk to the city while carrying the mentally exhausted trio. We go to the Guild house and finish the quest and get some gold coins as payment and an extra three coins as payment for taking care of the Lord. We go to an Inn and I pay for four rooms. Six girls in three rooms and one for myself. We put Emilia with Kyra, Jil with Iris and the goddesses are in their own rooms. I go to my room aswell. My room has a really big bed and a table with a lamp that activates with magic on it. I also have a shelf for books and a small cabinet for my clothes probably. The place doesn''t have much but it will do... I actually fall asleep once because I haven''t slept since I came to this game a couple days ago... Even Gods need sleep... Notification, Questions. I can go to... Earth? Heaven aswell... Earth seems more tempting right now... Heaven sounds dangerous if the Gods are suspicious of me being a ''Toy'' or something else. I use the World Travel ability and three choices come up. Earth, Kuran and Heaven. I press Earth and a blue light covers me and I can''t see anything. The light starts slowly dissapearing and I notice I am in a different place... I am in my Apartment... Well what used to be my apartment building. It''s now completely destroyed... (Poseidon) Poseidon dissapears into the ocean while waving at me and I keep flying. I fly fo a bit to the East and see a city and I land a few kilometers away from the city and walk there. I still have my black clothing but that shouldn''t matter right now... I''ll let them think of me as a cosplayer or something. I enter the City and notice a few places still open... I wonder if anybody is at the office right now... Where is the company headquarters anyways? Oh... A old man. I''ll ask them... Old people are trustworthy. I go up to the old man. "Hello... I need some directions. Where is the Globus Online company?" (Ethos) "Ah, just follow this road to the end. The Company is right at the end of this very long street." (Old Man) "Thank you." (Ethos) I keep walking towards the location the old man told me where the Company should be. I walk for half an hour and see a huge building with the Globus Online company mark on it. I think I found the right place... I look up into the sky and notice it should be around 1:30... If I want to get back before they wake up I only have six and a half hours to do things here before I need to go back. I try to open the door but it is locked so I just jump up to the roof and enter through that. I do not know if I can phase through things yet... I walk down the stairs and into a room where all the offices seem to be. Hmm? Somebody is still working this late at night? I go up to the office that still has a person inside it. I see a masked man entering wrong passwords. I stand behind him and look to the side to find the name of whose office this is... Jillian... Falkalore... The masked man finally gets the password right and brings out an USB flash driver. I grab it and knock him out at the same time and drag him off the seat and enter the USB flash driver myself. It seems like the Flash Drive has a ''Virus'' ''Spyware'' and such folders... I guess he was going to mask them as normal files... I grab the Flash Drive and snap it in half and then look through Jil''s folders for a bit. I want to know what she is doing... I go into a folder named ''Reports''. So... Many... Reports... So many reports about me... I open one of the Reports and it is about how she is trying to get closer to me to study me more because I hacked the servers and call myself god... She doesn''t believe it huh? Hmm... There''s a report about questioning Iris. So that''s what took so long... Not a fight but the questioning... I should''ve known honestly. There''s no way a company will willingly leave their servers in the hands of one ''hacker''. I look at the Report about questioning her... It seems they told Iris to say that she loved me to get her closer to me... She told me about her life story but after that it''s all lies huh... I''ll open the latest report... "Oh god... I''m slowly falling for him... He acts so nice around us and helps us... I need to find something to get my mind off him... Iris seems to have already fallen for him truly... We were just faking at first but now... I do not know..." (Jil''s Report) Hmm... This isn''t pleasant at all. Iris and Jil are faking, they are trying to get Emilia to do it aswell... It seems they won''t try to convince Kyra, Aphrodite and Hera to do it aswell as they think they are just NPC''s I designed to love myself to make myself feel better.... They honestly don''t think that Gods and Goddesses exist huh? I close the Report folder and look around a little bit more. A Pictures folder huh? I open it up and see Jil with a man near a fountain. I guess this is her real boyfriend... No no, that man is a little too old... Is this her father possibly? That seems more possible. I close that folder aswell and see one folder hiding behind a clock app in the top right corner. I open it and I see... A lot... Yeah no... I don''t want to see this anymore... Oh dear Creator... Jil needs a real boyfriend, ASAP. I close the folder and hide it even better so she can''t find it anymore. By that... I mean I delete it. I make a note in the middle... "Jil! Find yourself a damn boyfriend! That folder was damn creepy and full of things anybody younger than 18 shouldn''t actually have! You are older than 18 yes but it''s still very creepy to have so much of those pictures." (Note) Aaand done. I save the note and close the computer. If I could I would also demolish the computer but yeah... It has reports that probably are keeping her in this company. Before I closed the computer I looked at the time and it was around four o'' clock at night... I''ll come back later... I go back to Kuran and sneak into my room as not to wake the two girls sleeping on my bed and I sit on the chair and wait for them to wake up. I won''t tell Jil and Iris anything yet... I''ll keep them in the dark. Emilia she doesn''t need to know right now. I''ll need to find a way to actually get them to confess themselves to their little ploy.

Hera acts like it''s natural and Kyra does the same. The two walk out of my room and then I hear running... They probably were so embarrased that I saw them. I also get up and walk out of my room and the two people who I am about to get rid of log on with Emilia. I''ll ask the trio at the same time. I walk to Iris''s room and knock and soon after the door opens. "Iris. Go and get Jil and then go and get Emilia. I need to have a word with all three of you in my room." (Ethos) I leave and she closes the door and goes back inside to tell Jil. I go to my room and sit on the chair again. I should put some effort into this right..? I summon an office desk and an office chair from long ago. It''s like those black and white scenes in the old detective movies and in some gangster movies. Should I get a tommygun aswell? Meh... Why not. I summon a tommygun with a full magazine and put it underneath a table. I also put the three chairs I had already on the other side. I sit on the office chair and wait for them while looking out the window. That thief I left at their office though.. The guards found them or they escaped. If they did... No matter. I''m going to sever all connections with the Globus Online creators in a few moments afterall. I laugh a little and my room door opens and the trio walks in. "Please, take a seat." (Ethos) The trio sits down with Jil in the middle. "Do you girls want to go to Heaven and live there forever with me?" (Ethos) A straightforward question as a straight punch to the answer. All of their servers. I''m going to save this world from their imprisonment of the ''game'' system. The [Globe] is not a toy... It is basically a slavers mark. You wear it, you become one of the people who enslaves Kuran. One minute passes, I forcefully log every player out, regardless of their location in-game. On the second minute, I delete every player character. On the third minute, I remove all admin rights from all the admins and moderators. On the fourth minute, I completely seal the Servers. On the fifth minutes end... I destroy the Servers by overloading them with electricity in real life. It is very possible for me to do it in-game. I just need to make a ''higher energy request'' for the servers. While the servers were being overloaded so was all the computers in the Globus Online company and all of the tech that was still connected was being overloaded with electricity. I use my new travel power to go to Earth and I appear above the city. The entire city is in a blackout due to all the electricity I am loading into the Globus Online Company tech. I guess the gods and goddesses of electricity are helping me because I only requested more, I didn''t actually forcefully blackout the city. I notice a cloud come towards me and I go up. It''s Thor and Zeus... Oh yeah, that reminds me... All gods are real. "Hahah, seems you finally are taking action, Creator''s toy." (Zeus) "Well, two people did betray me in the game and that entire company was basically trying to enslave a world. They do deserve this... We noticed that a high request was put out for the servers and then you appeared. And that made us spring into action aswell. I''m pretty sure all the gods are currently looking at this situation... I wonder what they''ll call this event that simutaneously destroyed an entire company all over the world." (Thor) "So you aren''t worried that you are actually showing something god-like to the world?" (Ethos) "We''ve shown our powers multiple times but the goverments always cover it up under the pretext of ''limiting panic''. They are just trying to find our power and grab it for themselves. Humans of Earth really have no honour anymore... They just want more power and they want to be in control. They are basically rebelling against all of the Gods. Barely any humans pray to any of the Greek Gods and Goddesses or any God or Goddess. Only in the less advanced civilizations in Africa you can find a lot of people who pray daily. If we could we would destroy this entire world but The Creator says that this world is just in it''s Crisis State where it wants to be in control so we can''t do anything... After a while we stop because I notice all of their tech is unplugged or broken. Mostly broken though. "I wonder what I''ll do now..." Didn''t leave for a couple thousand years until I was needed back here to control the Human Race so they don''t go haywire." (Zeus) "Random World? I didn''t see such a button before..." (Ethos) "It''ll only come avaible if you visit Heaven once. Well, you must visit all the worlds you know of once to get it." (Zeus) "Ah, I''ll go to Heaven then. I''ll need to find Aphrodite, Hera and Kyra in Kuran aswell..." (Ethos) I open a portal to Heaven and enter it... I am standing on a golden cloud with many golden pillars and everything is really fancy... Not my type of thing though. I open the menu for the teleportation and there is a ''Random World'' button. I go to Kuran and go pick up Aphrodite, Hera and Kyra... It''s time to go to a new world! I hope that Iris and Jil have learned their lesson now... {----Jil''s POV.----} I wake up in my room and put on some make-up and clothing and then go upstairs to my office computer. Somebody has been on it. A note is in the middle and my... Special... Folder is gone. I quickly run a search on the entire computer to see what folders have been opened while I was sleeping. Quite a few folders have been looked through... All the notes about Ethos have been looked through aswell. Who could''ve done this? It''s amazing that only one folder is missing but they might''ve copied things... I don''t know... I go to my boss''s office and tell him of the situation and he says they found a thief there and a snapped in half USB drive... The boss tells me that they will handle this and I leave. I go into the testing room and log into the [Globe] I have been given. It''s time to figure out more about Ethos the Hacker I guess... The Testing Room is basically the Alpha and Beta Tester''s [Globe] location. Iris walks into the room aswell before I jump into the game and logs in aswell. We both start the game at the same time. We wake up in the Inn room Ethos bought for us. I set my hair straight and tidy my bed. Somebody knocks on the door and Iris goes to check it out... "Jil, Ethos wants to see us in his room in a few minutes. It sounds important." (Iris) "Ok. I needed to ask him something aswell today." (Jil) I do a few stretches and wait for Iris to set her hair and tidy her bed. Me and Iris have been getting along quite well... Even if we have to both act like we love Ethos and so we must ''fight'' over him sometimes. It''s lucky that Ethos didn''t notice the request for a person our company made and that Iris actually accepted it... It''s also quite a coincidence that they knew eachother. It worked out well for us though. "Let''s go then. We also need to get Emilia." (Iris) I nod and we go to Emilia''s room and take her with us. We go to Ethos''s room and enter... I''m prepeared for anything... Even if he did find out I still have enough time to counter him... Ok... This is weird... (Author- and from now on you know what happened in chapter 15 so I''m gonna skip this because she is basically shocked during that conversation.) --- After being forcefully logged out by Ethos --- "Shit! Quickly! I need to get to the boss!" (Jil) I throw the [Globe] off my head and run out the door. I''m still a little shocked... Who wouldn''t be shocked if the Hacker of their entire company just unveiled their entire plot to take him down and said that you have five minutes till I do something bad basically... I run into the boss''s office. I spent an entire minute just running to the office... "Boss! Quickly! Unplug all the tech possible! Gather all the data! Evacuate the building! Ethos found out! He came into the building and looked at my reports! He''s the one who got into my computer!" (Jil) "Is that true!?" (Boss) "Yes!" (Jil) "Shit! I''ll notify all the company buildings!" (Boss) One of the workers enters the room. "Sir! The player data... It''s being deleted! We can''t even log into the game anymore! It instantly kicks us out! I look into the sky and see a really bright light that seems to look down on us. A cloud comes down and it flies towards it and dissapears... It''s exactly like the one seen traveling towards here the day before... Is he... Really a god...? I look at the clouds and the building and the entire city for five more minutes... All the electricity is blowing up our Company floor by floor... It''s probably the same in every company building... All the work we did for Globus Online, gone... All the work we did on the system for the world of ''Kuran''... Even Kuran is gone now... Wait... Ethos said something that Kuran was alive and we just enslaved it... "Eh?" (Jil) I stare at the sky and the last thing I see is a lighting bolt charging at me... {----Iris''s POV.----} I get up in my room and put in my clothing and go log onto Globus Online... Jillian is already logging on... We start up the game and I laze around in my bed until somebody knocks on the door... I go and see who it is and it''s... Ethos... He tells me to meet him with Jil and Emilia in his room... Jil runs off and I slowly take off my [Globe] and walk out of the room... Everybody is running around... "Iris! Get your stuff and run out!" (Worker) Eh? Well... Ok... I run to my room and grab the most important things and run out. The building starts slowly blowing up starting from the Server Room... Jil is already outside and staring at the sky and the building and the entire city... I start going up to her very slowly while staring at the building... I look up into the sky where Jil is staring after she suddenly steps back a little... The same light as yesterday''s news... If Ethos really did come here... And he really is god... Then this light must be... Ethos... The light dissapears into a cloud. I slowly walk up to Jil and suddenly lightning strikes her... Me and my slow self! I run up to her. "Jil! Jil respond to me!" (Iris) I look up to the sky and raise a fist but the moment I do... Lighting strikes me too... How could this... Happen?
Author - Sorry if this isn''t a good POV from both fo the girls. I ain''t good at thinking differently because Ethos''s thinking is kind of my own but Iris''s and Jil''s quite aren''t. So sorry if this didn''t clear things up alot. Chapter 16. Another World. I press the ''Random World'' button and a portal opens infront of me. I walk into the portal at the same time as Aphrodite, Hera and Kyra. I like the three more than the previous ones... By a long shot. After we walked into the portal we only see a blue sphere-like tunnel going to what seems another portal? We walk for a bit and then go through the other portal. Kyra was amazed at the blue tunnel because she hadn''t done the teleportation before and Aphrodite and Hera were a little bit too... Well I was amazed aswell. When I teleported to Kuran or Earth I just appeared there, no fancy tunnels. We enter the other world and we appear on some plains and near a road luckily... I look around and see only grasslands and no hills, no nothing. Even with my enhanced eyesight I only see plains... This must be one big flat area on this world honestly. "Whoa... It''s... Beautiful..." (Hera) I look at Hera who is looking up in the sky. Aphrodite and Kyra do the same and I soon look up in the sky aswell... Two suns? A blue and a red sun? And they seem so close to eachother aswell... Twin stars? And they match so well... It''s beautiful... The play of lights the two suns create is beautiful... I sub-conciously lay down on the grass... Soft, soothing grass... This world... Well, these plains... Is paradise. I hear a cart coming towards us while we are laying down on the grass near the road. I look up and stare at the driver... Human... No, elvish? Yeah... That''s elvish. And that isn''t a cart... It''s a carriage... Four guards on horses? Fully armoured? "Aphrodite, Hera, Kyra. Carriage coming from the left. Person inside seems to be an aristocrat or royalty." (Ethos) The girls nod and I get up from the ground. This world is a complete mystery to us so it''d be nice to get a warm welcome instead of a war-like one. Seems like that isn''t going to happen since two of the guards charge at us. They ride towards us and stop when their lances are at my neck. "Who are you!?" (Guard) "Just a traveller. A world traveller... I was hoping we could leech off of the kindness of the person in that carriage but it seems not?" (Ethos) "Step aside, peasant!" (Guard) "Oi oi oi. If you call me peasant. You yourselves should be the dirt i''m walking on then." (Ethos) The guard seems enraged and tries to stab me but the lance breaks in half as I kick the horse away from me and about twenty meters from me. "So... Do you want to share the same fate?" (Ethos) I stare at the guard that is coughing blood twenty meters from me and is stuck under their horse. "I do not want." (Guard) The guard rides towards his friend and the carriage comes to a halt as three experienced looking warriors run out. I do a couple stretches and walk towards them while yawning. "Hello! So who is in that carriage... I''m interested now..." (Ethos) I walk towards the carriage and the three men come infront of me. I jump over them and open the carriage door... "Oh. Hello..." (Ethos) I am greeted by a mace in my face. Quite litteraly. I opened the door and a mace was swinged at my face. Ofcourse the mace is now shattered and all over this floor but yes... I look inside and see a buffed looking man next to a woman who is small and cute and wears a lab coat... A lab coat? Shouldn''t that mean... That these horses are unneccesary and they should already be using cars and such? The buffed man hits me with his fist and instead of me getting hurt... His fist is now a bloody broken mess. "Oi, if your mace doesn''t work. Your fist won''t work. I only wanted to see who was inside..." (Ethos) I feel three swords breaking on my back and I exit the carriage and close the door. I also notice one of the guards casting a spell... Magic, check. Lab coat what means science, check. "Hera, Aphrodite, Kyra. This world is a world of fantasy and science. The woman inside was wearing a lab coat." (Ethos) "Ah? So it''s like that... I always wanted to see a world where magic and science can be in harmony." (Aphrodite) I walk towards the three girls who are staring at the carriage and the lab-coat wearing girl runs out of the carriage and hugs me from behind. "No going anywhere!" (Girl) "Hmm? Why not?" (Ethos) "I want to research you! You could take a hit from a magic-infused mace, you can also easily open a magic-locked and science-locked door like it''s a normal one. It''s like you aren''t from this world." (Girl) "I am not from this world. I am visiting random worlds and just happened to enter this one. Now... Can I go?" (Ethos) "No! You are coming with me to the capital!" (Girl) "Sure." (Ethos) "No! You ar- wait... Huh?" (Girl) Aphrodite and Kyra already have the face like they knew that I was going to say that before I did. Hera''s just standing there staring at the sun again. The girl lets me go. "Aphrodite, Hera, Kyra. Come on. We just got ourselves a ride to a capital." (Ethos) "Hm? Oh, ok." (Hera) "To the capital! I really need some new clothing... This one won''t do at all in any of the new worlds probably..." (Aphrodite) "I''ll go wherever Ethos goes." (Kyra) I walk towards the carriage and jump ontop of it. "I''ll stay up here. Women should go inside so the men can properly protect them." (Ethos) Aphrodite and Hera go inside but Kyra seems to refuse and jumps up next to me. The three guards that came outside come up top aswell and the guards that confronted me before returned. One of them is a little... Battered. We start our trip to the capital. "Oi, you there. Come over here. I''ll fix you up." (Ethos) The guard that I hit looks towards me and then slows down just enough to be in my reach. I cast some simple light magic to heal the guard and the guard goes back to his post after making sure his or her body was allright. I hear Aphrodite and Hera basically being interrogated by the girl with a lab-coat... I''ll need to get her name later. I lay down ontop and take a small nap underneath the two beautiful suns.

Capital. When I wake up from my small... Nap... I see a huge tower... Many smaller houses and near it... It seems the Tower is the middle part and the city is near it''s base. I knock twice on the door and Hera opens the door. I jump in while the carriage is still moving. "So... What''s that huge tower in the middle of the huge city?" (Ethos) "That''s my research tower and also the Aristocrat''s living quarters... My part of the tower is in the top." (Girl) "That reminds me... I didn''t quite get your name... I''m Ethos by the way." (Ethos) "Ah, I''m Lily. Lily Lunara Sinestra. Lily is my first name, Lunara my second name and Sinestra my family name." (Lily) "Did you two introduce yourselves before, Aphrodite, Hera?" (Ethos) "Yeah." (Aphrodite) I nod and jump back ontop and Kyra jumps down and introduces herself and comes back up again. When we reach the gates of the capital two entire squads of seemingly elite knights welcome us but give me glances filled with murderous intent. I non-chalantly wave to them because they can''t do anything to me and I only felt a slight sliver of intent because of all of them having it towards me and Kyra. We ride to the center of the capital where the tower is located. When we reach the center the others come out and me and Kyra jump down from the roof. I look up and stare at the tip of the tower. "This is... Actually quite small. I could easily jump to the top from here. Maybe if it was fifty times it''s size I would have to use double jump at five percen power." (Ethos) "Come on now. Let''s go inside." (Lily) Lily enters the building through two gigantic doors that automatically open with what seems to be magic... I enter after Lily and Aphrodite and Hera and Kyra come in aswell. The inside is exactly like a lobby of a five star hotel on Earth... Just with more magical objects and less technology... Lily walks to an elevator that seems to be locked and takes out a keycard and unlocks the elevator. "This is my elevator. Jump on." (Lily) I get on the elevator and so do the others and we go up for a bit of time... This world still uses swords and such in fights but has elevators? Weird world... We reach the top and enter Lily''s part of the tower... "So much.... Technology." (Ethos) I look around and notice floating self-moving fridges moving around... A real hoverboard.... Yup, this world is less advanced in the way of wars and more advanced in the way of other things. "Oi, Lily. Why doesn''t this world have advanced weaponry but self-moving fridges?" (Ethos) "There have only been two wars in this world actually. The First War and The Second War... That''s why we don''t need advanced weapons." (Lily) "Only two wars? In my world there have been many small wars and three large World War where all the world powers came into play." (Ethos) "World Wars?" (Lily) "Yup. (Ethos) I walk up to the west side of the wall and flick my finger at the wall and a normal-sized hole appears. "Phew, I didn''t accidentaly make it too big... Good thing i''m learning more control over my power." (Ethos) Lily stares at the hole in the wall and I jump away while waving. I soar through the skies while looking below... This world is all goody and nice... What kind of God made this world? As I think that a bright light appears above me and flies next to me. I notice a figure inside of the bright light. "Are you the god of this world?" (Ethos) "Goddess of this world.. I am Ulfrid. I''m glad that you came to this world..." (Ulfrid) "Ah, good... Ulfrid, I can massacare all the demons right?" (Ethos) "Yeah. They aren''t my creations... Another god put them on a meteorite and sent it into my world... I have a feud with that god... He likes war but I like peace so we never get along..." (Ulfrid) "Guess I know where to get some bloodshed from." (Ethos) Ulfrid snickers a little. "Oh, you are already above the Demon Land. I wish the Demons luck in escaping from you... What won''t happen." (Ulfrid) Ulfrid flies up into the air and dissapears. I stop soaring through the sky and just fall onto some black and red magma lands. I notice an army of thousands of demons walking towards where I just came from. I clap once to signal my appearance behind the entire enemy army and give them a small chance of survival... Just a small chance. The Enemy general rides infront and all of the troops immediatly do a 180 degree turn and in a short notice I am looking at the shield infantry line. "Who goes there!" (General) "The god that will kill you. Bye." (Ethos) I walk towards them but to their eyes it seems I vanished and suddenly appeared infront of them. With one move of my hand all their infantry and their general suddenly gets their heads decapitated. The archers and mages start running but I use wind magic to make a barrier. I move my hand once again and kill all the Archers... I look on the ground and see that the infantry is litteraly a red horned demon like a clich¨¦ demon... The god that sent these here has no sense of creativity... Their mages and archers look exactly the same as the infantry... I move my hand again and cut the Mages down aswell... An entire army in three moves of the hand. I could''ve done it with one but I couldn''t bother to increase my power. "Shit! I wanted to kill these for an hour not five seconds! I''ll just slowly fly back..." (Ethos) I jump into the air and start slowly flying towards the capital while my back is towards the ground and my stomach towards the sky. I take exactly one hour to get back and I fly inside through the same hole I left when I went to the Demon Land.... "I''m back." (Ethos) I look at the girls all changing clothes. I walk to the chair Lily was using and sit on it before the girls could react. I notice controls on the right side of the chair. "Don''t mind me. It''s not like you can harm me anyways... Well maybe Aphrodite and Hera can hurt me." (Ethos) The chair floats into the air and I look around the room and mess with Lily''s tech. The girls quickly change clothes and Lily is blushing like crazy and Aphrodite is blushing even more... Hera seems to be OK with me seeing them change and Kyra doesn''t even seem to care. When they finish changing I float back down... Handy controls... Aphrodite slaps me first, then Lily... I just shrug it off as it didn''t even tickle me. "So... What should we do now?" (Ethos) "I know what you will be doing." (Lily) "Oh yeah... The tests. What do you want me to do?" (Ethos) "I want you to..." (Lily) Chapter 18. Tests "I want you to... follow me" (Lily) I shrug my shoulders and walk towards Lily who is standing on a elevator-looking platform. I get on the platform and we go down into a more lab-like room with actual things that look like they would be used to take tests... We get off the platform and Lily walks to a console and turns all the lights on and walks towards a huge cube made out of a weird metal. "Come and try to break this with all your strength." (Lily) Lily is behind a console and some wires are hooked up to the cube. I walk up to the cube and simply punch it with a slight bit of my strength and it already crumbles into dust. "Hmm. Ok ok, you can destroy the pure adamantine cube in one pun... Wait... What?! You can destroy that!? How much power did you put into your punch?!" (Lily) She falls off the chair she sat on when she was behind the console "Only a slight bit of it. Maybe like... Four percent? I didn''t even infuse my punch with magic yet." (Ethos) Lily stares at me like I am lying and her arms are crossed and I can clearly see anger. "Oi! I''m not lying!" (Ethos) "Fine! Next test." (Lily) She jumps back on the chair and floats over to a tube filled with water and I can clearly see molten lava below the tank thanks to my vision... Is she planning to dump me in lava? "Get in the chamber of water, please." (Lily) "You do know that if you try to dump me in lava I will make you swallow a piece of coal that is still burning hot." (Ethos) She gulps a little and turns into an even smaller Lily because she curls into a ball. "I''m just joking! The lava will be like air to me anyways. Harmless." (Ethos) She opens the chamber from above and I jump into it. She closes the chamber and starts doing something and a weird drone with syringes comes up to the chamber. It starts injecting the liquids inside the syringes from above and the water changes colour. Nothing changes for me though... These tests are completely useless and pose no challenge to me anyway... She opens the chamber after all the different syringes are injected and I get out and heat my body up just enough for all the water on my clothes and skin to dry up. "So... What''s next?" (Ethos) "Your intelligence and patience." (Lily) She drags me over to a huge version of a Rubik''s Cube... It''s not huge because of it''s size... It''s huge because of the initial 9 cubes on a side split three different times and slightly enlarged to make it easier to move them probably. "Solve this as fast as possible. Not even I have solved it yet... I have gotten really close though!" (Lily) I pick it up and start solving it at mach speed to her eyes but really slowly to my eyes. I solve it in five seconds to Lily''s eyes but five hours to mine. "Done." (Ethos) She nods but is clearly really confused and very amazed because her jaw is slightly dropped even though she is trying to keep it from dropping completely. "Any more?" Not like the previous two people who were from Earth and didn''t believe me and tried to figure me out, you are actually taking in the fact that I am god-like." I float to the top of the tower and sit down. "Hahah... This is the life isn''t it... But why do I have a feeling that things are about to go beyond south...?" (Ethos) I look up into the sky and fall through the roof because Kyra hit the roof with her fist and I wall down onto the floor. "Oh come on... I was just trying to look at the sky!" (Ethos) The girls are obviously angered because I ran... "Let''s go to sleep? It''s getting dark..." (Ethos) Please say yes! I don''t wanna listen any more... I''m tired from doing nothing. "Fine... I''m tired aswell." (Aphrodite) "Same..." (Hera) Kyra just nods. "Everybody can sleep in my bedroom... I accidentaly got three extra beds in my own bedroom for a mistake in ordering things..." (Lily) We all follow Lily to a really luxurious looking bedroom two floors below the top floor that we were on before. I take the furthest to the door and closest to the window bed and already lay down on it. Kyra comes onto my bed and falls asleep on my bed. I shrug my shoulders and fall asleep aswell. There were only four beds after all... A damn meeting of gods and goddesses... That is bound to bring up some arguments between gods. Yaay... I can''t wait for the disaster in Heaven that is about to come... Chapter 19. The Meeting. A month has passed since I came into this world... A whole month of not killing, protecting or finding someone. I look around me and see everybody but Lily and then remember the beach... "I really made her mad didn''t I?" (Ethos) "Ofcourse! She could''ve died because of your prank!" (Aphrodite) I recollect the prank I did on her on the beach... I found a dead shark on the beach, cut off it''s top fin and disposed of it''s body, then I took some really resilient leaves, tied them together and tied them through the fin and then I went underwater and started circling Lily freaking her out. I even went close to her leg and touched it with the shark''s fin so she completely froze and started sinking... I slightly panicked back then and threw the fin off and brought her to shore to see her shaking in fear. The best and worst prank ever...? Well... Nothing else happened on the beach or... Well... During the whole month. Litteraly, nothing... I assisted Lily with her research but she didn''t talk to me at all after the beach incident..., played with Kyra and then went to bed and repeat. I also talked with Aphrodite and Hera but not that often... They were getting prepeared for the Meeting that I am about to go into. I stretch my arms and legs before Kyra walks up to me. "Lily isn''t coming?" (Kyra) "It seems so." (Ethos) "Kyra, the reason Lily isn''t coming is because of Ethos''s idiotic prank that terrified her almost to death." (Aphrodite) Kyra walks off and goes next to Hera. Kyra found out that she was first Hera''s creation so Hera is kind of her... Mother? Well... She calls Hera ''mama''... "We should really get going." (Hera) "True. Hold on tight, I am going to open the portal." (Ethos) I bring up the portal menu and Hera, Aphrodite and Kyra hold onto my clothes. I select Heaven and we get teleported there but not to the place I was teleported first it seems... This is more.. Meeting-roomy like. "You''re finally here, Ethos!" (Thor) "Sorry if i''m late!" (Ethos) "Don''t worry. Every god and goddess except you three and the other Olympian Gods are here so you beat the Olympians." (Thor) "Good!" (Thor) Thor shows three chairs next to himself and I sit in one of them and Hera and Aphrodite sit down aswell. Kyra jumps onto my lap and falls asleep almost instantly. "Hahaha! So this is Kyra huh? Never got to see her personally." (Thor) "Yeah." (Ethos) I look around and see all the other gods and goddesses staring at me but not saying a word. I hear doors opening and a big door opens and Zeus walks in with a bunch of other gods and takes his seat and the other gods and goddesses do the same. "Are we all gathered here?" (Zeus) "Yeah." (Thor) "Good... I think everybody knows of the trouble going around..." (Zeus) "The Earth''s disbelief" (Hades) "Thank you Hades. He is correct. The Earth started not to believe anything related to the supernatural. We need them to believe in us to have power over them... But now they are stopping their belief in us. That means they are going to be let loose and they might kill themselves with those nuclear bombs they have littered all over their planet." (Zeus) "We should really do something shouldn''t we?" (Takemikazuchi) "We should. But most of us already lost our power over them. The only person with no limits is Ethos." (Zeus) Everybody looks at me and then notice Kyra who is sleeping on my lap and using my stomach as a pillow of sorts. "Ethos. We need you to go to Earth and establish the fact that Gods exist. That the supernatural exists. You can take any species with you to Earth to make them prosper there so they will believe that the supernatural exists." (Chronos) Everybody nods and each god and goddess throws a picture of a species they made infront of me. "Decide from those pictures five species you will take to Earth. All of these species are intelligent creatures but they are not as advanced as humans so they still believe in us." (Osiris) I start looking through the species and pick Lamia, Dragon, Nymph, Demon and Elves. The five normal ones to pick. (Creator) I nod and we leave into his room. When we are in his room he changes... Into a beautiful woman... I stare at him or... Her? I''m confused now. "Ahahah! Ofcourse you would be confused if an old man suddenly changed into a really beautiful woman if I say so myself. It''s actually the woman changed into an old man." (Creator) "Huh?" (Ethos) "Do you want to know how annoying it is if the gods would go after you because they know you aren''t an old man uncapable of having children and is about to die. I don''t but just in case..." (Creator) "I thought you had no gender...." (Ethos) "I don''t. I just prefer the female gender over the masculine male one." (Creator) "Oh..." (Ethos) "You are really confused aren''t you..." A second after I was pushed out of her room Kyra runs around the corner and spots me and tackles me from the side and starts sobbing a little. "Why are you crying?" (Ethos) "Hades was scary... He wanted to talk to me but he was too scary... Then the god called Chronos came and they started arguing what made things even more scary..." (Kyra) I caress her hair slowly. "Don''t worry Kyra. You found me. Everything is now ok. Kyra, wasn''t Aphrodite or Hera with you?" (Ethos) "They were but it was still scary... I feel safe only around you right now..." (Kyra) "Well... I''m here. Let''s go and find Aphrodite and Hera. We need to make some preperations." (Ethos) Kyra nods and we go back to the Meeting Hall where Aphrodite and Hera are waiting for us. After we meet up with Aphrodite and Hera we go to Aphrodite''s room in Heaven that is really really big and well decorated... Kyra fell asleep so I put her on the bed and sat behind a table with Aphrodite and Hera where we discussed our next step... The step of making Earth believe in Gods again. Hostile takeover? Peaceful takeover? Those are the two options right now... And I don''t know which one to pick... Should I rip humans apart, throw tank shells at tanks, litteraly tear planes apart? Or should I peacefully talk to all of the countries and if they don''t accept the term that gods exist and that the Five Species need Five countries and areas to live in... Author - Here you go. A new chapter. I''ve decided that it''s enough of peace time for now... Well, you can decide that actually. I gave you readers two chances. Hostile or Peaceful. Say the answer in the comments. Also, sorry for the one month skip but the Beach Event is so overused and I couldn''t think of anything fun and new for the one month timeskip anyways. Chapter 20. The Start. Author - Well... The comments said both hostile, peaceful and both with Hostile and Peaceful being equal so Both it is. Time to rip humanity apart a bit and then start the talks.
"We should do both. Hostile takeover and peaceful. We make them afraid of us and then talk to them. That should be fine right?" (Aphrodite) I think about it for a bit and it seems to be the most logical path. "Alright. It is fine and it seems to work out well for everybody. Well... Everybody who is not caught in my hostile takeover rampage." (Ethos) Aphrodite and Hera stare at me in disbelief for some reason. "Your... Rampage...? Don''t tell me... You are going to attack and not the new races?" (Hera) I put my hands on the table and shake my head. "No. It''s too risky. The new races are going to be transported to Earth, a tottally different technologically advanced planet. They need some time to adjust and they probably won''t be good fighting against guns, tanks and jets. I''ll show Earth what it would take to kill the new races. I''ll show them the power of a God." (Ethos) The two lean back on their chairs and think about what I said for a bit. "Hmm... What you say is true. They would just be obliterated under the gunfire. Elves are really the only ones who could sneak into their ranks to do some damage. Dragons could attack them but they would be taken down by the huge artillery and the missiles they have. Yeah. You are the only choice that wouldn''t get some of the new races killed or their numbers decreased." (Aphrodite) "Good. We should start the takeover soon. Wouldn''t want the gods to be too weak now do we?" (Ethos) I get up and so do the other two. Aphrodite picks up Kyra who is still asleep and we go out of Aphrodite''s room and to the gate where we teleported from. There are ten different gods gathered there. I walk up to them. "Hello Ethos. We are here to help you teleport the new races to Earth. You probably aren''t used to teleporting huge numbers of people." (Chronos) "True. I''ve only teleported four at a time. Thank you for your assistance." (Ethos) I look behind the gods and I notice five gigantic golden blocks floating towards us with... Living beings on them. The gods form a even more gigantic circle around the blocks. "Ah. They are here. Let us begin... Ethos and Aprhodite and Hera and Kyra, please go into the middle." (Chronos) We go into the middle of the gate what is the middle of the entire circle. The floating blocks each hold a huge amount of one single race totaling in five races and all of them are what I picked... I was worried that the Dragons might be too big for Earth but they are in their humanoid forms... Sadly they don''t seem to get rid of their tails, horns and wings. The demons are basicaly huge red humanoid Dragons. The gods start casting a spell and a golden and blue runic circle appears below the blocks and us. The next second the circle glows and the next moment we are on Earth. I can tell because I can already see a city from here. The five different races are all present... Five million total? One million per race? That is a lot but quantity isn''t everything... Especially in the face of nuclear bombs. I turn towards the five races. "Alright! I am Ethos. The god that will help you start a new life in this world called Earth! I am going to need a representative from each race!" (Ethos) After a while a young elven man, an old Lamian woman, a dragon at the peak of it''s life, a nymph that is still a teenager but seems to be stronger and more intelligent than the rest of her race and a very old demon walk forward and bow before me. "Stop bowing, please." (Ethos) They stop bowing and look towards me. "Now... I shall go and teach the Humans not to mess with the five new races that I brought. I will need you five to start setting up a city or cities for the races to live in. When I come back I wish to know if you want to build one city or many cities for each race so I can help with construction. If there are any arguments between races then solve them quickly. I will need all the races to cooperate with eachother because this world is very technologically advanced. They do not have magic so you can win in that sense but their weapons are very advanced and can kill you before you can use your magic so we do not need any fights between the races. Do you understand." (Ethos) They all nod their heads. "I shall now go and send a little message to each of the major countries that might have an interest in fighting. Aphrodite, Hera. Take care of Kyra and make sure the representatives do their jobs as leaders." (Ethos) "Understood!" (Hera) The next moment I am already speeding towards the largest threat I can think of. USA. They have the biggest arsenal of nuclear missiles so they are the biggest threat. Russia second, China third, Korea fourth and from there I don''t think the other countries will want to fight and then we can start with the talks. I appear over the White House and drop into the President''s chair. Soon after a lot of guards and the president appear. "Took you some time to come. I might''ve had to gone to Russia and taken care of them before getting back here." (Ethos) The guards take out their guns and aim them at me. I stand up and walk towards them... One of the guards shoots at me but the bullet turns into liquid metal because I used fire magic to liquify it and when it touches the ground it turns back into solid because of Water Magic that is technically Ice Magic. ''Frost''. The other guards shoot too and I repeat the process. "Your guns won''t work. I doubt even blowing up the entire planet while I am in the core will even harm me. You are looking at a god after all." (Ethos) The guards laugh but when I stare at one of them they all stop as the guy falls to the ground lifeless. "I only need to stare at you to take your life." (Ethos) To be honest I used fire magic and exploded his heart. The scene inside of him should be bloodier than usual. The president walks forward. "Who are you?" (President of USA) "I am... A god. Ethos is my name. You know about the Globus Online companies sudden fall? And how two girls got hit by lightning? That was my doing with the assistance of Thor and Zeus." (Ethos) "Impossible! Paranormal things cannot exist! It''s been proven!" (President of USA) A ball of fire, a ball of water, a ball of earth aka dirt and rock, a ball of air appear infront of me. "And now I said they can exist. Do not argue Human. I need to do things and I need to do them fast. Throw some tanks at me, maybe a missile or two. Maybe then you will understand that I am serious and you will stand down." (Ethos) "Stand down from what?" (President of USA) "I brought five million beings. One million of each different race. Nymphs, Dragons, Elves, Demons and Lamias. I need to make sure they can survive in this world so you all will start believing in gods again. Because of you humans the gods are weakening. And gods should never be weak." (Ethos) "And your proof?" (President of USA) I grab the president and basically instantly appear where I left. Right infront of all the five races. The president stares in disbelief as I ''teleport'' us back. "Well? Was that proof enough?" (Ethos) "Yes... Yes it was... But what do you want me to do?" (President of USA) Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Support the author by seeking out the original. "Usually USA would instantly try to take over the area they are residing in... The area is France. So you''d attack France to take over rights to them so you could study them. I want you not to do that and instead try to protect them from the other races. I shall also have this small talk with Russia, China and Korea. I would appreciate if you told Japan as Japan will deffinetly make this huge news. I suggest you send a few choppers with cameras to France to take some proof of our existence and make a warning to all of Earth about me existing and walking amongst you. The warning shall be that no one who attacks one of the five races will be safe from the wrath of a god." (Ethos) "I accept your terms. They are quite reasonable if you really are a god. Your power is definetly god-like because you teleported me from Washington to France in an instant. But how did you know it was France?" (President of USA) "I went to the Moon to get a good view before I sped towards here. That''s how I knew. Well. I must go now before any country finds them with a sattelite and takes action. You should start doing things aswell." (Ethos) I wave goodbye and crash through the president''s wall towards Russia through Alaska at top speed and appear infront of the president''s place in Moscow. Five tanks immediatly roll out when the camera system notices me nonchalantly walking towards the building. I dispose of the tanks through litteraly tearing them apart from the middle. I then proceed to go into the building and I find the office of the Russian president. I have a nice little chat with him aswell... Let''s just say he might have a broken bone now because when he heard about the new races he took out a gun to try to shoot me and probably then try to take over France. I also told him to send the same warning as USA is sending to Japan to the UK. I then went to China and repeated the process. Luckily they were a lot more understanding and didn''t fight when I showed them a bit of magic. Infact... They asked me how they can use it. I told them that they should ask one of my races that question since I really don''t know how to make non-magicians magicians. I then headed towards Korea... Where I still am. The Koreans are relentless with their missiles... This is the... Fiftieth missile sent towards me? Don''t they ever learn that if a man litteraly destroys a missile bare-handed before it even gets close to the ground... Don''t send another one. I obliterate this missile aswell and walk towards the Korean capital while more missiles are being shot at me and now even tanks and artillery join in... Why don''t they understand that they can''t kill me!? I cast a spell and a huge boulder appears that I throw towards a huge gathering of tanks and crush them all. I notice an entire army is now standing infront of me... "My god... So idiotic..." (Ethos) I sigh and walk towards them as all of them open fire but the moment a bullet or a missile or anything hits my skin it shatters into nothingness as I cast magic and destroy them all effortlessly. This army isn''t worth trying to tear through because they just try to use quantity over quality. Maybe if they used silver bullets on me it would work... Wait, I''m not a werewolf. I''m a god. After a bit of destroying even more missiles I reach the Capital and have a nice little talk with the person in charge there... The person who threw so many men, tanks, missiles and planted so many mines that didn''t do anything to me. I also tell him about what is going on and what he should do after breaking his arms and shattering each bone in the arms to make him understand what I am saying instead of screaming at me. I then turn on the news and see that the USA has sent the warning to Japan and Japan is broadcasting it to the entire world. So the whole world is now in an uproar about five new species and magic suddenly appearing and a god walking amongst them defending the new races. Soon a report comes in that the UK got a warning from Russia that is the same as USA''s to Japan. Then China sends a warning to the whole world that is the same. The korean president stares at the screen and I tell him to begin doing what I said. I walk out of the capital and ''teleport'' aka just use my speed to appear back at France. The five representatives are already present in a tent as I notice soldiers from USA here and trying to converse with the species but are failing horribly as they can''t understand eachother. I walk into the tent and a few generals and the president are present trying to converse with the representatives but failing as outside. "Ethos! How do you converse with them!" (Lamian representative) "English. I guess an ability kicked in so I can understand every species... We''ll need to work on translating and understanding eachother first I guess..." (Ethos) "I can understand a few words the human is saying... Something about our powers?" (Elven Representative) "Oh, I guess the elvish language does seem similiar to english a bit. Elven representative. I''ll work on a book with all the words in English and Elvish in them with the translations so you can converse with them. Also... How do you converse between eachother, Lamian and Elven representatives?" (Ethos) "It appears that a god has gifted us an ability to understand eachother but not humans. Or it might be because we all came from the same world and have been living together for so long that we can understand what we say to eachother." (Draconian representative) I suspect the latter. Maybe the god but I still suspect the latter is the reason. The gods never did tell me where they would be getting the species from. "Well... Alright then. I''ll be back in an hour or so. President of USA, do you perhaps have some paper I could write on?" (Ethos) One of the generals brings out an entire ten pages from different pockets and hands them to me. "Thanks." (Ethos) I walk out of the tent as there is no room in there and sit on a nice smooth spot and start translating each language to english so the five races and humans can converse with eachother a little bit better. I''ll need to make some kind of economical system where the races can actually do something new... Before I notice Aphrodite and Hera walk over to me and sit next to me and Kyra is awake and sits on Hera''s lap. Aphrodite and Hera lean on me a little as I translate making it a little bit harder. A chopper flies over us and I notice it filming us... Yaay... Now the whole world thinks we are probably a family... I keep translating for a while so everything goes smoothly... I don''t think the new races are going to have a very smooth and easy time in this world because there always are going to be people against them and maybe even some perverts who will try to kidnap them to have their way with them... I''ll need to teach the people who will go against the new races and the perverts how a god shows his wrath... But that is all for later... I first need to get the new races accustomed to Earth. This is going to be a pain isn''t it... New races accustomed to Earth, then trying to convicne about 8 billion people that Gods exist and I''ll need to name each one of them... After I finsh translating the elvish into English I translate the other languages too but the dragon language was really hard to write due to the complicated and delicate letters. I then get up and notice that about four hours has gone past and the representatives must be really bored and mad. When I start walking I notice that something is dragging me back and I look behind me just to see Aphrodite and Hera holding my legs while asleep. Kyra is sleeping on Aphrodite''s lap... I snicker a little and remove their arms from my legs and put them down on the grass so they can keep sleeping. I enter the tent and see all the country and race representatives there sitting around a table... Where did the table appear from... "You are quite late, Ethos." (Elven representative) "Sorry. The dragon language took a while." (Ethos) I hand each of the representatives their papers. The representatives read through them and put the papers on the table infront of them. "Shall we begin?" (Ethos) I take a seat in a free spot and everybody gets serious. "The president''s already know of what I need from them and the representatives know too... But the public and media must be very curious about this new appearance. What kind of rumours are spreading in the internet right now?" (Ethos) One of the people in the back steps up with a laptop in his hand. "Most of the people are asking where the races are exactly located in and if they are going to be interacting with humans. I also saw some rumours that people want to make love with some of the new races." (IT Guy) "Typical. No bad rumours like being afraid?" (Ethos) "Not yet. Infact... Most of the internet community is taking these new species like godsends. Well... They technically are godsent... There are some people who think that the Dragons could attack us if they are territorial but they are the minority." (IT Guy) "Good... So the media wants to see the new races I brought with me?" (Ethos) "Indeed." (IT Guy) "Thank you." (Ethos) The IT Guy bows and backs off again. I look towards the president and other leaders of countries. "If the IT guy says the internet wants to see the new races... We should show them the new races. We just need a place where I can introduce the representatives and myself to the media to calm down the minority so we will be completely accepted on Earth." (Ethos) I look towards the representatives who are quickly translating everything I am saying and everybody else is saying in English to their language. The Earth country leaders are discussing amongst eachother and the King of England stands up. "We have talked about where we should hold the revelation and it shall be in England. We shall hold it in the House of Parliament as this is a very important change in the History of Humanity." (King of England) "That is fine. You shall allow media and a crowd into the House of Parliament?" (Ethos) "For the occasion, yes." (King of England) "Then that is decided. I shall now ask the Representatives about this." (Ethos) I turn towards the representatives and ask them if they are fine with being revealed to the media. They all say they are fine with it and I turn back to the Earthian leaders and nod to them. "That is fine. I shall call the Guard and tell them of our arrival and I will arrange the meeting. It should take a few hours for us to get there anyways.." (King of England) "Affirmative. Presidents, you shall come too right?" (Ethos) "We shall." (Presidents) "Good. Let us set out. I shall go and get my little group who fell asleep outside." (Ethos) I stand up and go out of the room and I wake up Aphrodite, Hera and Kyra. "We are going to England. We are revealing our existence here to show this isn''t a joke." (Ethos) Aphrodite and Hera nod as Hera picks up the still sleepy Kyra. We head to a chopper that just landed and all the Presidents and Kings go on the chopper and the Representatives come on aswell. (Author - BTW, This is one of those big military choppers.) We ride all the way to London and the Representatives of Earth and The New Species keep talking to eachother constantly and asking questions from eachother during the whole trip. When we reach London everything should be ready the king of England said. We get out of the chopper and enter the House of Parliament and go into the meeting place where all the media and people should be. We enter through the front doors and go onto the stage at the front. The media is recording and everybody is quiet as I stand infront of everybody and all eyes are on me. "Hello, people of Earth. I am the God called Ethos and I brought these new species to Earth with me." (Ethos) I wave my hand towards the representatives and they understand what I want to do and they step forward showing themselves. "I have already spoken with all the Kings and Presidents of Earth so now I must contact all of Earth through the media. I brought these new species here for one reason. To bring back religion. The other gods in Heaven gave me this mission to finish and that I did come here to do. I will name each god later so you shall know of every god that exists in Heaven still and worship them so they wouldn''t die. Now... To the point... I brought the new races here to co-exist with humans so you shall believe in gods once again. I brought only five races, Nymph, Dragon, Elvish, Demon and Lamia. You do not need to be scared of the Demons or Dragons for I shall keep them in check if they start going mad. I wish for Earth to accept all of these new species and help them become accustomed to this world. They do not know of our languages but I gave them some help and translated some of their words into English so they could introduce themselves. Thank you." (Ethos) I step back and the President''s all step infront and say some very important things and then my representatives step infront and slowly introduce themselves and tell of their race and everything they could do to better this world. After the meeting we leave the stage and the media goes insane and everybody tries to follow us but the guards don''t allow it and keep them back and we go back in the chopper quickly as the media tries to break through and follow us but fail as we fly back to France and go back in the tent and keep talking about our next move. We just quickly introduced ourselves to Earth but we couldn''t stay there because the Media would ask too many questions and we don''t have enough time for that. My next step... It''s to make homes for the new races... This is going to be even more fun than escaping from the media honestly... Chapter 22. Gathering of the Materials I walk out the tent and look at the masses of otherworldly sentient beings that I must build homes for... "Fun... Very. Fun..." (Ethos) The representatives walk out the tent aswell and stop near me. "We will all assist you as much as we can, Ethos..." (Draconian Representative) The other representatives nod but that doesn''t easen up the work I must do. I am going to need to transport masses of wood, rock and bricks because the helicopters would take too much time... Hmm... The dragons could help me. Their original form is massive and they are strong... "Draconian Representative... I need the Dragons to help me transport the building materials. It will help me a lot." (Ethos) "We shall assist you. It is of no trouble to us. I shall send my strongest men with you." (Draconian Representative) "Thank you." (Ethos) "You do not need to thank us. You are a god after all." (Draconian Representative) I nod and the representative goes to the dragons and about a hundred men walk out after a bit and when I start to levitate and fly in the air they turn into their dragon forms and fly behind me. I look at a paper I was given in the tent about the location of the building materials. Well... The five different locations. First one is over at... The Baltics? On the border of Estonia and Latvia? Interesting... Well, it isn''t that far away. "Follow me." (Ethos) I start flying towards the baltic states and after a while we pass the city of Paris and when I looked down I saw a lot of lights being turned up into the air... Well it is night time and massive beings are following a small humanoid-like being that is actually a god with still unknown amount of power. We keep flying and we soon go over the Danish German borderline that is completely empty of any cars... The guard posts are there and lit up but no cars seem to be driving through them. Not my problem... We keep flying for a while and we reach the border and I go to the direct location written on the note... Near the sea... Near a village called H??demeeste huh? We fly over there and go to the very direct location and land down but most of the dragons had to stay in the air because the building material location couldn''t hold them all. I look around and see a huge note on the side of the building. "The following building materials belong to the new races in this world who are under the watch of the god Ethos." (Ethos) Hmm... Very nice of them to point that out. "This is our materials! Pick em up!" (Ethos) The dragons swoop in one by one and take huge blocks of building materials with their arms and legs. A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. After all of the dragons have done their pick up round I pick up the last two blocks with my hands and we start flying back to the location we are going to build the city at. I look up in the sky and see the sun up in the air already... The dragons really took their time swooping in but they are big so they are excused... We did take time getting there aswell... Oh well. We still have four locations left after we deliver these materials. We fly all the way back to our location, put down the materials and then fly off again to the next one. We repeat the process until we head off to our fifth one... It is located in the middle of Australia for some reason... Isn''t the middle of Australia empty of any living beings? What are materials doing there? Oh well... I didn''t know of every goverment building locations now did I? I take the dragons and head to Australia. We fly over a bit of Africa and all the seas and oceans between France and Australia. We reach the middle of Australia and we go to the location where the materials are located. We find the materials near an unfinished building that is half-destroyed... I wonder what happened here that this is half-destroyed and unfinished... The dragons pick up the materials while I investigate a little and find nothing of importance and then I pick up the last three blocks and fly off with the dragons aswell. It''s strange that they couldn''t finish it though it is on solid land, nowhere near anything that could stop them from building it and that it seemed to be a goverment building... We fly back and set the materials down and we notice it''s night again and everybody is asleep... It took me and the dragons three days to get all the materials together because we had to go back and forth... The hundred dragons turn to their human forms, bow and then leave to go to sleep. I go to the usual spot where I go to when I have nothing to do aka where I translated the languages and find Aphrodite, Hera and Kyra asleep there and I sit down and after a while fall asleep aswell... That building was strange though... It had all the conditions to be fully-built with nobody stopping it but it didn''t even have a single wall and only about ten floors and half of them were collapsed... A simple earthquake couldn''t have stopped them so what? Does Earth have a secret I didn''t know of and the Gods didn''t want to tell me of? Weird. Truly... Weird and mysterious... Well... I still have to build all the houses for the races.. Then I can investigate that location again... Chapter 23. Building and the Fallen Structure. Author - I''m just going to skip most of the building because I think everybody knows how building goes... It''s very boring if a god helps build...
I wake up and see the girls aren''t sleeping beside me and have wandered off. I get up from the grass and walk down towards the city construction site. Everything is quiet so I start slowly humming to myself not to feel so alone. I walk around for a while and look up in the sky and see the sun coming up... I look at the rising sun for quite a bit of time from the air until I see a chopper heading straight for us. I fly towards the chopper and I go near the cockpit of it and fly next to it. The chopper pilot stares at me flying with no assistance and then lands on the grass where every other chopper lands on. The ramp to the chopper opens and scientists walk out of the chopper. I go to greet the scientists but the moment they see me floating down to greet them they jump back and quite a few of them faint. I wave to them and one of them steps up. "Hello and forgive us, God Ethos, for our unannounced arrival. We also did not know we were coming here until two days ago. I am the Head Researcher of Unknown Beings and Technology, Ray Lakewell. Basically researching anything ''Alien'' or ''Not from Earth''." (Ray) "Hello Ray. It seems you already know of me... But who told you to come here?" (Ethos) "Well... The president of USA did..." (Ray) "And what do you want to do here?" (Ethos) "To research the five different beings and you and the group you are with...?" (Ray) I sigh and float around them. "I will allow this... Except researching me or my small group. Our powers are not meant to be researched as humans wouldn''t ever understand them as anything else other than ''Magic''.... Also, if they don''t want to be researched you shall not forcefully try to take samples and things from them. I will kill you if I get even one complaint about you forcefully doing something." (Ethos) "Understood!" (Ray) "Good... I''m going to wake up everybody to start on the construction of the city..." (Ethos) I fly up into the air. "WAKE UP!" (Ethos while shouting) My shout goes on for kilometers and probably reached a human settlement freaking them out... The dragons wake up and then the Lamia the third is Nymphs and the fourth are Elves and Demons wake up last... Good to know their order of waking up to one of the loudest shouts they possibly have heard... The races gather up and I tell them we shall start the construction of the city and I also tell them about the researchers. Quite a few of them were disgusted about the researchers being here but I also saw a few of them who were intrigued. After that we started the construction and we finished the buildings for the Elves really quickly... And I mean... Very quickly. It took us about five minutes to construct about five hundred of them at the same time because everybody was assisting. I just looked how they built and supervised because I want them to get along better in this world... At the middle of the day over half of the city is built and the only races who don''t have houses yet are the Demons, Dragons and about half of the Nymphs. We are building the city in five sectors, one for each race... And the representatives got a genius idea to put a huge statue of me in the middle of the city where all the crossroads link up and I''m facing the rising sun... And the worst part is... They actually did it... All the races pitched in and finished my statue that is very detailed and made out of stone and Iron that was melted down by the dragons and then forged by the elves so it has this fancy look to it... Right now I am looking at the races building the Nymph houses and three groups have started on the Dragon houses that have a small part but also a huge bedroom-like place for the dragons when they want to sleep in their normal forms. I fly up into the air and look around to see and I see a beach and the girls are there... With bathing suits. Where in the hell did they get the bathing suits? Oh wait... Two of them are goddesses... Yeah it makes sense now. They used creation magic... I really like creation magic but I always use it too much and go overboard... Like that one time I wanted to just create a simple lake... It turned into the Grand Lake in the middle of the Steppes on Kuran. I fly over to the beach that is about... A hundred or so kilometers away? I really like flying right now... And I really love that my eyes can see hundreds of kilometers away and spot any movement. Now the only things missing is a red cape, a blue suit and laser eyes. Oh wait... I''m no superhero.. I''m a god... Being a god is better right? I reach the girls in five minutes flying at low speed and then land slowly. "Hello... I see you''ve been on the beach for a while.." (Ethos) "Ethos! You finally got here!" (Kyra) Kyra jumps out and hugs me. "Sorry that I am late... I never got any notification about having to come here so I was supervising the construction of the city. It''s over half done already... And my statue is slapped straight into the middle of it for some reason. Blame the representatives." (Ethos) Aphrodite and Hera chuckle. "Come here Ethos!" (Kyra) Kyra drags me over to the ocean... One thing I haven''t seen for a long time except the one time I flew above it and didn''t care about it... Kyra stops and looks over the ocean. "Girls... I have something to say. I found an abandoned structure in the middle of a continent that seemed eerily suspicious to me. I want to know what it is so I must go there. Could you three stay here and look over the researchers who came today and the races?" (Ethos) "Sure." (Aphrodite) "No problem with me... You''ve done enough for them already." (Hera) "If Aphrodite and Hera are staying I will stay too." (Kyra) "Thanks. I''ll be off then." (Ethos) I jump up into the sky after Kyra lets go and then fly over to Australia in almost an instant. I land infront of the structure and look at it... I walk closer and walk inside it looking for clues but the only clue I find was... Traces of dark magic. Faint but existing traces of dark magic going underground... I use wind magic to blow the sand away and reveal a huge iron door leading underground. I punch the door open and fall down the huge shaft until I fall through an elevator and land on the bottom of the shaft. I balance myself and walk through the big door only to see a lot of technology and the trace of dark magic getting a lot stronger... I use light magic to illuminate the area a bit and I see tons of black spots everywhere and blood is everywhere and I find four piles of corpses in the middle of the hallway... What the hell happened in here? I walk forward while looking around the hallway. I send one of my lights to the end and find a huge blast door that could probably withstand a nuclear blast... The thing is... It''s charred and busted open... And the dark magic is coming from there... I quickly look around the room and find nothing but blood, black spots of dark magic and dead bodies and tech. Guess my only way forward is in through that... Time to find out what the hell the humans have been doing here. I bring all my lights back and walk through the blast door... "What the..." (Ethos) Chapter 24. The End. Author - Before you ask... Sudden surprise chapter! Even to me! I decided waiting was too boring... So here you go. The last chapter of Globus Online. And before you ask... I do have something planned to replace it. P.S... This is kind of rushed because I REALLY ran out of ideas this time. So sorry for this awful chapter if it is one. I promise my next novel will hopefully make up for all my mistakes in my previous ones.
I stare at the thing infront of me... It''s oozing dark magic... An almost formless being made out of condensed dark magic... I walk towards it and release a bit of my own pressure to compare our strength... And it is strong. Very strong. It notices my pressure and turns itself towards me I think? I can''t tell... Suddenly it throws a condensed ball of dark magic towards me and I counter it with light magic. "Hahahahahah! A god?! Hahahah! Finally something that is worth eating!" (???) "What the hell are you!" (Ethos) "Oh me? Only Corruption of Earth Incarnate!. Humans created me... All of them are corrupt... And I feast upon it! I''ve been on this planet for millions of years... And the humans have only given me more and more food! Now... Become my food aswell!" (Corruption) I summon fifty light magic balls and start barraging the being while it starts countering me with dark magic. I summon even more light magic and this time I spin them around making them spiral and then send them off. The being just makes a huge block of dark magic to block it and then sends condensed dark magic at me. I dodge it and throw back condensed Light magic. "I''m not going to be your food. If anything... You will be my food." (Ethos) I get more aggressive and start throwing more and more balls of light at it while it blocks it with some difficulty. I fly closer to it and start using more and more of my power. It starts to falter as a couple of my attacks break through it''s defence. It''s not strong enough to go against me just yet. Maybe one of the lower gods... But not me. I fly towards it even faster and throw even more attacks at it and making my attacks even stronger. After a bit of throwing attack after attack at it... It''s defence shatters. I throw one of the strongest spells of light I know... Light Nova... A huge sphere of light appears infront of it slowly consuming it''s body and the surroundings in a big flash of light. I hear a sound of something like glass breaking but the Light Nova continues until it stops as it reaches it''s limit and dissapears. I see a small little black cloud on the ground and I fly towards it. "So... What was that about me being your food?" (Ethos) I cast a normal light spell and a ball of light forms at my hand and I condense it with two other light spells and I also make it spin. "Any last words?" (Ethos) "You can kill me... But corruption will still exist!" (Corruption of Earth) "That. I know..." (Ethos) I throw the spell at it and the spell obliterates it and the sound of glass breaking signals that it is sent to oblivion. "Well... That''s that. Time to go back." (Ethos) I fly out of the base and slowly fly back admiring the night sky and looking at the stars. I reach the City in a few hours and then land at the center of the city ontop of my statue of me standing up and holding a sword... Now... Where could the girls be... I look around the city and spot soldiers sneaking through the city... So... What are they trying to do here? I thought I told them not to do this... One of the soldier squads enters a house and the next minute they fly out of the house... They probably shouldn''t have entered a dragon''s house. The entire city wakes up to the commotion of a flying human screaming. I fly over to one of the squads and grab their squad leader. "Hello..." (Squad Leader) "Where is your leader?" (Ethos) "Umm... The president of USA...? He should be in the white house..." (Squad Leader) "Oh good. Do you have a pen and paper?" (Ethos) "Yes..." (Squad Leader) "Good. Now write on the paper... ''I thought I told you NOT to try and capture any of the races, Ethos.'' " (Ethos) The squad leader writes while clearly being afraid. He finishes writing and I then smile as he looks at me and I send him flying towards the white house. I then fly up into the air as I see the human soldiers litteraly be eaten by the Lamia or Demons for invading the city. Not my fault... I warned them didn''t I? I fly outside the city and notice a small wooden house on the hill where I usually sleep... I fly closer to the house and notice it has my name on it... I guess they even built my house. I stop flying and walk into my house silently and look around. A kitchen that has everything activated by magic... A living room with a fireplace and a table... Four bedrooms? In the morning I get up and go outside to find Aphrodite teaching Kyra how to cook and Hera reading this worlds newspaper. I go to the table and sit down. "Morning Ethos." (Hera) "Morning..." (Ethos) "Where were you last night?" (Hera) "Oh... Just killing Earth''s Corruption Incarnate. Not a big deal." (Ethos) Hera stares at me and I hear something being dropped in the kitchen and I turn my head towards it and I see over the half-wall that is placed between the living room and the kitchen that Aphrodite dropped a glass and is also staring at me with her mouth open. "Aphrodite! It''s not nice to stare at somebody with your mouth open!" (Kyra) "But... He actually found a planet''s corruption incarnate! Those are hard to find! Did you properly kill it Ethos!?" (Aphrodite) "Well... I heard glass breaking and I sent it into Light oblivion." (Ethos) Aphrodite''s stares at me again. I look at Hera and she has her palm on her face. "I don''t know why I even thought something is impossible for you." (Hera) After that we just ate breakfast and I went outside. There was a surprise for me waiting there... A chopper landed and three girls came out of it... Three girls I knew. Emilia, Iris and Jil. I stare at Iris and Jil with the coldest of stares I had ever done while they walked... Well Emilia walked towards me... Iris and Jil were in wheelchairs. I guess Zeus and Thor did a number on them. They stop a few meters away from me and Iris and Jil approach me. "Ethos... I''m sorry! I''m very sorry for lying to you! But you can understand right? It''s just not natural to assume somebody is a god! But now I know you are one... I feel stupid for doing all that..." (Jil) Iris starts crying while trying to apologize... I couldn''t understand anything Iris said but it was clear she was sorry. I start laughing a bit seeing them all alive. Everybody stares at me weirdly.. "Sorry sorry! It''s just... I thought that Zeus and Thor might''ve killed you both... So.. How are you doing?" (Ethos) Iris keeps crying and Jil cries a bit too. Emilia walks forward. "We''ve been doing fine. I looked over them after finding out about them and you. I also didn''t believe that you were god until just a few weeks ago when you appeared with the new races... And then it was clear you were a god. The representatives of the races even confirmed it..." (Emilia) I look to the left as I get a hunch that the representatives are there and... They are. "Speaking of the devils..." (Ethos) The representatives walk up to us. "Ethos... It seems we need to modify your house for three more and for two people in wheelchairs." (Demon Representative) They snicker and I join them. "Apparently so. If they want to though." (Ethos) I look at the three girls who were in Kuran with me. "We only came to visit. Maybe in the future... Well... After Iris and Jil stop crying every time they think how stupid they were in trying to betray you. I don''t know how long that will take." (Emilia) We all start laughing at that but Iris and Jil cry even more. "Well... It seems they aren''t going to stop crying huh?" (Ethos) "The lightning strike DID hit their heads. It changed them quite a bit. They basically cry as much as a five year old." (Emilia) "Oh Creator... That must be annoying." (Ethos) "The hospital says it is." (Emilia) After that Iris and Jil calmed down and we could talk a bit before they had to leave. After they left the races modified my house for if they do decide to live with me and then we went on with our days... I watched over the races and a few years after meeting the trio again they came back to me asking to live with me because the hospital discharged them and they didn''t have a place to stay. I accepted them into the house and gave them something close to immortality... They won''t age but they can still die to sicknesses. After that we lived for hundreds of years and the five races integrated into the world... Even some halves started appearing... Half-human half-dragons... Half-Human half-demons... And ofcourse... That meant more work for me. I had to look over the whole world from there as year after year the gods came to me giving me their old jobs on Earth and basically giving me the permission to do anything with Earth. I didn''t do anything big and only made it so it wouldn''t explode in the next few thousand years because humans would start a thermonuclear war. That is my story... Just like the other gods... Just like Mithneel and Quinn who I learned about aswell. They had a similiarish story to mine... From normal to god. I wonder who is the next person who the stick will be handed to? The new god? It''s going to be fun finding out.
I know this novel is below average in any way but I am glad that I got this many people reading it. I hope all of you will read the surprise novel I will release this week or maybe next week. Probably next week. So... Don''t get your hopes up TOO high but get them up a little bit.
