《The Graveyard of the Dungeon God》
Chapter 1 - Awakening as a god
"Can¡ät believe they turned against me...."
"I helped them so many years and they just betrayed me out of greed...."
He sighted and tried to feel his surroundings. All there was is darkness. He couldn¡ät move nor see anything. looks like i have to start at the beginning this thought made him a bit mournful, because he had to think about all his lost companions. The bosses he painstakingly trained and developed. A feeling of beeing alone overcomes him. Betrayed by his country, all his friends are dead, his dungeon looted.
He forcefully forced himself to concentrate on the important things and forget the painfull things. What happened is history now he can¡ät do anything to chance the things that already happened. The only thing he can do is to make sure they can never ever happen again.
So he tried to feel the Mana, which surrounds him. At first he didn¡ät feel any at all, but that didn¡ät cause him to panic as he already knew, that it will take sometime before he can even feel Mana, because he already went trought this process once.
Suddenly after sometime he started to feel something like air that slowly went past him. He knew that air was not really air, it was the World Mana. Every thing has Mana, even the dead and even things like stones have it. The World Manas purpose is to let everything grow. Mana is the reason plants grow, is the reason why ores come to existing.
So everytime one of this Mana flows went past him, he started to absorb them. Normaly a dungeon core just absorbs Mana and thats it until it awakens, but for him it was something else as he knew the World Mana was not pure. So he started to circulate the absorbed Mana around in his Mana Channels to purify it.
One circulation, two...... until the Mana was as pure as possible. Every tiny Mana Flow needed to be around 256 times to be circulated until it was so pure. Slowly time went by. Normaly a dungeon core needs around 2 years for this process but for this soon to be god this process took 200 years. It not only took so long because of the purification of the Mana but because a dungeon god starts with around a hundred times more Mana than a dungeon core. For the dungeon it feels like only one day, because there is now sun and moon or even seasons. All there is for the dungeon until it fully awakens his senses is this all consuming darkness and the World Mana.
World Mana can be subdivided into seven groups of Mana. There is Fire Mana, Water/Ice Mana, Earth Mana, Air Mana, Lightning Mana, Life Mana and as well as Death Mana. Death Mana is normally called Miasma.
Suddenly a blue screen appeared in the darkness.
Congratulation! Marluxia absorbed enough Mana to awaken. Please choose a starting location | Sunlight Forest | The nearest town is around ten days away. Surrounding seems to have a lot of Life and Earth Mana. Great environment to cultivate medical herbs and monster from the type plants. Danger of detected by magicans average. Great location to start for beginners | | Meng Town Graveyard | Dungeon entrance will be located in a graveyard. Surrounding seems to have a lot of Death Mana. Great environment to cultivate poisonous herbs and undead monsters. Danger of detection by magicians high. Danger of being destroyed really high as humans are afraid of the death. Choose with caughtion! | | Li Town Graveyard | Li Town is situated on Lonly Peak. Surrounding seems to have a lot of Water/Ice Mana as well as Death Mana. Great environment for ice and water monsters as there is all year long snow on Lonely Peak, because the dungeon is situated in a graveyard it is also a great environment to cultivate poisonous herbs and undead monsters. Danger of detection by magicians high. Danger of being destroyed average |

¡.is that my name?.......seems like it is¡.
Marluxia was a long time in thought and tried to remember his name, as he wasn¡ät able to he just thought that Marluxia must be his name. As that is what the World System tells him.
All this starting locations seem to be bad in my opinion. Sunlight Forest is too far away from any town for me. It will take a long time until I am discovered, this will hinder my development. But to choose one of the other options is not really better. It looks like this Meng Town is situated in a rather bigger kingdom that¡¯s why there is a high possibility that they will destroy me, because in their opinion I would be an undead dungeon. Li Town seems to be my best choice. As it looks like it is situated in a small kingdom that doesn¡ät have a lot of dungeon, else they would never let a potential undead dungeon undestroyed.
His original dungeon was also situated on a mountain peak. The environment in a dungeon is completely controlled by the dungeon core that¡¯s why Marluxia was sure he will have no problem with the cold.
Rather unwillingly he chose his third option. He wasn¡ät so sure if it was the right idea to start with a graveyard as location, but somehow he had the feeling the world wants him to start as an potential undead dungeon. Why else should he have such bad options to choose from?
After he confirmed his choice everything slowly started to get white. The darkness as well as the World Mana was chased away by this white light. The next thing he remembers is sitting cross-legged in a small sealed cave. The cave was 20x20x5 large. Slowly Marluxia turned around. Let¡äs start working
He bites his finger and used his blood to lay a formation on the whole room. This formation would make the Mana in this room denser. This would be his future Boss Room. In the middle of the room he created a pond it was deep enough so that he could sit and cultivate in it without any problems. Around the pond he planted a few poisonous herbs.
Chapter 2 - Gods are stingy they donéˆ¥çž want to share
As Marluxia looked into the water of the pond, he sees a handsome looking boy with an age of around 15 looking back at him. That boy has neatly fall down his back long pink hair. A rather white skin, which gave him rather the look of an scholar. His build was not bad but it looked still rather weak. The most mesmerizing thing on that boy are his eyes. He has orange colored snake like eyes.
His old dungeon was inhabitatet by millions of snakes. The strongest Guardian was a six armed Lamia of which he was rather proud as he was the one who breaded it. This Lamia had orange colored eyes. In his dungeon there were over 20 snake-races he himself created and breaded. That¡¯s why the name of Marluxias old Dungeon was Den of the Snake God.
So that¡¯s how my new body looks like? Not bad, I like it
Did I get the snake like eyes because my final guardian was a Lamia?
SChiSchiSchi He started to laugh loud Seems like there did me someone a little favor when my body was created. I like it! Whoever did that THANKS Marluxia laughed for some time until he had himself under control again.
I am now longer an almighty dungeon core. I should first check my status and then make a plan for the future. Humans you will never ever be able to destroy me again that I swear now.
With a thought he opened his Status Menu

Seems like trough the blood I used to draw the formation I lost 10 HP
¡.5000 Mana? That¡¯s my starting Mana Pool? No wonder I didn¡ät feel even a bit exhausted. Still this 10 poisonous herbs and that little pond wasted 700 Mana
Marluxia sighted If I compare my Mana with my Stats they seem so low. A bit mourning Marluxia grabed one of the new planted poisonous herbs and chowed on it Soon or later I will rebuild my snake army. This body is no longer a crystal I need to gain a resistance against poison the soon the better.
While chowing on the herb Marluxia opened the Monster Menu, as he opened it a blue screen appeared.
When Marluxia saw that, he spit the herb, on which he chewed out. Are you shitting me???? he screamed Why am I not able to summon monsters?
| As none of the other Gods is willing to share his creations with you only the things you create yourself will be available for your dungeon creation. Only the most basic of everything is available for you. Want to see everything available to summon? |
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Yes
| Available: Rat, Snake, Bugs, Bat, minor medical herb, minor poison herb, basic weaponry, animal and human bones |
Marluxia stared blankly at this System Message You can¡ät even call that now starting from beginning that¡¯s starting from scratch!
The bones should be available because of the graveyard my dungeon is located in. Maybe later I can think of something to do with them except to use as a decoration. Maybe if I push enough Mana into the bones I can create an undead minion.
Dissatisfied he sat down in the pond and started to circulate his Mana, to get rid of the poison of the herb he ate. If that is so I can¡ät summon really something anytime soon so I should first concentrate on getting a minor poison resistance, after I got that I can start to bread a few poisonous animals, if I am lucky one of them will then soon after that evolve into a Stage 0 Monster. Through eating poisonous herbs he will slowly gain a poison resistance, because he purifies his body in the pond the water of this pond will also slowly turn poisonous.
Finally after he ate the 7th poisonous herb the System Message appeared
| Create Poison Level 1 gained
User is now resistant lowly Poisons and able to create his own poison in his body |
Shouldn¡ät I have gained Poison Resistance? I ate only a bit of poisonous herbs and now I am able to create my own poison?
Marluxia was curious how toxic his poison was. So he used 50 of his Mana to summon a rat. Subconsciously he already knew how to use this ability. He pointed one of his fingers down onto the rats. Slowly a tiny bit of his Mana circulated through his body and escaped out of his finger as a slightly green liquid. When the liquid touched this rat you could hear a faint hiss. Soon after the liquid touched the rat it started to squeak painfully and died.
Marluxia had a big grin on his face. Why can I create my own poison? he tried hard to figure out why he could have gained this ability normally one should have gotten a poison resistance and not the ability to create his own poison. Suddenly he remembered something that happened shortly before he died. His final Guardian the Lamia sacrificed himself to protect him. He died while covered in the Lamias Blood maybe that had some kind of effect on his new created body.
| During the recreation of your body the World System detected Blood on your crystal body so the System used this to create the blood system of your new created godly body |
Chapter 3 - In honor of the past
When Marluxia saw this System Message he was really happy.
Even after you died you made me such a huge present. Looks like your Bloodline is not lost pal.
Slowly he walked to his pond used his poison skill to poison the water. Marluxia slowly went down on his knees and touched the ground. The legacy of the Lamia Clan shall be reborn today. Come forth my little Snakes. With this word he summoned around 20 little snakes.
During the summon of the rat he noticed that he could interfere during the summons and weave a few things, like special kinds of Mana or Materials, into the monsters he summoned. So during the summon of the snakes he weaved a few threads of Ice Mana in them. This did almost double the Mana costs to summon them but Marluxia thought it would be practical as his dungeon was still on a mountain peak where there is snow all year long.
| Congratulation because of the changes you made on the Natural Mana Structure of the Snake you created a new Snake Race. The summoned snakes changed from a warm-blooded animal to a cold-blooded one. How do you want to name this Snake Race? |
Marluxia watched this little snakes wind on the ground. This snakes winded to the poisonous herbs he planted after he awakened and slowly started to eat them. He had a little smile on his face. Because all of the snakes were white instead of black he really didn¡ät have a hard time deciding on a proper name.
Shiro
| The new Snake Race shall be called Shiro is that right? |
After he confirmed the name he got another Message.
| Shiro Snakes are now availible on the Monster/Animal Summon Menu |
Slowly and gently Marluxia picked the twenty snakes up. With a bit fatherly love in his voice he said: Don¡ät be so rash little once you still have to receive the lamia legacy, hopefully you will grow fast thanks to this Ancient Bloodline with a smile he put them down into the pool Stay still little ones and proudfully receive this Bloodline, one of you will evolve into my first Boss. Marluxia used one of his nails to cut the artery in his wrist. The blood slowly seeped down on this twenty snakes. After one drop of blood seeped on each snake the cut in his wrist closed
| Do you wish to bestow upon this snakes from the snake race Shiro the bloodline of the Guardian of the Snake Creator? |
Without a second thought he immediately agreed.
| Snake Race Shiro was upgraded with the power of an ancient snake bloodline |

He patted the twenty snakes. You now can be counted at descendent of my best friend in my last life. So get strong soon and make your ancestor proud. Who knows maybe one of you will evolve into a Lamia in the future. The snakes all responded with what seemed like a proud hiss. After the pat they continued to happily bath in the poisonous pond.
Marluxia used the following three days to develop his dungeon a bit. The setting for the first few floors will be a temple setting as he found it fitting for a tomb dungeon. On the first floor there will be nothing to be true. The first room is a rather big room with a size around 100x100x15. Every twenty meters there is a large statue on each side of the walls. These statues were not some random statues every statue was one of his old Dungeon Bosses. This was his way of saying thanks for all the service they did for him and also for him to remember who he used to be. In every direction was a tunnel which connected with rooms of a size from 50x50x10. The purpose of these rooms was rather simple he wanted to use them as graveyards for the entire adventurer that will be dying in his dungeon. At the end of each room was a rather big altar. Marluxia wanted to use his first floor as a graveyard, he wanted that the normal citizens of this town will come down on his first floor to entomb their dead and to mourn over them. This would enable him with a stable Mana income from the outside and will also hopefully calm the waves with the citizens, than his dungeon will be where their graveyard used to be so he should at last provide them with a new one. In the middle of the first room was also a statue it was a statue of Marluxia himself and before his feet was the passage to the second floor and the first real floor of his dungeon.
He didn¡ät start creating the second floor of his dungeon as he first wanted to have his dungeon boss, but already moved the room he and the snakes were in onto the second floor.
As he had nothing to do except to plant a new batch of poisonous herbs after his little ones had eaten the last one, he started to train his body. He had summoned a rack filled with all kind of weapons. Every weapon was only a wooden version because he wanted to train with his monsters in the future with them and as he doesn¡ät want to kill them he thought it would be best to use only wooden ones. That was something for the near future hopefully, because he had no Monster to train with for the moment.
The way he trained his body was rather easy he watched his little snakes and tried to imitate their movements. He saw each of his arms as a snake.
I have powerful snake blood in my veins so I should get to learn something if I imitate snakes right?
He thought at the tenth day after he started to imitate the snakes. All he got until now was nothing else as pain as he forced his arms to move like snakes. After all he got bones so how should his arms be able to move like a snake without a problem. Marluxia had to endure a lot of pain in this ten days and had to eat a lot of medical herbs to treat his wounds.
Chapter 4 - Oscar the Wicked Snow Snake
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow before I start to write this chapter let me think you all. My novel isn¡ät even 12h on and i already got over 25 people which follow this novel and 5 people even put me on their favorite list.
*Feeds BloodyAbysS a cookie* Yes the measurements are in meter
What do you all think about the chapter length is around 1000 words to short or just right for you
About the romance part to be true i am not sure as i am writing the chapters rather on the fly i only have a rather rought out line.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As even after a month of imitating the snakes he still didn¡ät get to learn a skill, he wanted to give up until he suddenly had an idea.
What I am imitating is their movement not their attack pattern. That could be the reason why I didn¡ät get to learn something from imitating them. I should let them fight against each other.
He thought a bit hesitantly. As every Snake Race had a rather unique fighting style, he needed them to fight to death, so he can study their fighting style. To different Snake Race on the same Stage of development could have differences in their fighting style as much as there is a difference between the sun and the moon. As he couldn¡ät get himself to remember how the Snake Races, in the Animal Stage, in his old Dungeon fought. I lived over a thousand years and after my dungeon got to the 20th floor, there were no longer andy animals in my dungeon. All of them did evolve to atleast to Monsters at the Stage 1. Well even if i could remember how they fought i still need to know the uniqueness in fighting of my new created Snake Race. Marluxia would lose a lot if this experiment didn¡ät succeed. On the other hand it could be what the snake needed to evolve. Only the strong can survive in this world. A trial by fire could be a great thing for the snakes. After a few minutes he sighted and looked at his little snakes.
Little ones until now you all had an easy life, from now on that will end. I need you to get stronger and that¡¯s why you need to get used to fighting. Only through real life and death situations can someone really improve. Do you understand that?
Marluxia said smiling apologizing. The snakes all wiggled their tails and hissed, to show Marluxia that they understood his train of thought. So he sighted and shook his head before he continued his speech.
You will now fight each other. You will fight until there is only one survivor. For the winner there is not only life and the experience needed to improve, I will also upgrade his bloodline farther.
As soon as Marluxias last word was spoken the snakes started to fight each other. They fought their brothers not only out of greed, because of the promised improvement of their bloodline. No they rather fought each other for Marluxias sake as they all knew he can¡ät really improve farther without opening his dungeon, but how could he open his dungeon if he wasn¡ät able to cultivate a Boss until now. Since the first time they opened their eyes they improved quite a bit, but it was really far from what they need to improve to evolve into a real Monster from an Animal. Every one of these snakes knew if they want to evolve they will need to be the survivor. The death battle of this brothers will probably not be enough to evolve but if they survive they will not be to far from evolving, because of this tiny bit of hope for them to evolve they fought each other to death.
The tiniest and weakest of this twenty snakes was killed in an swift attack of all the other nineteen snakes to gather. Only after the nineteen sakes had eaten the tiniest one did they continue the fighting. A snake with a black star over his left eye leaped onto one of his brothers. Swiftly he bites the neck of this snake through. While he slowly started to eat his killed pray three of his brothers attacked him to getter. Being besieged by three of his brothers he tried his best to win this fight but at the end he still died on the coordinated attacks of this three. At least he took one of them with him and wounded the other two rather bad. Because the two wounded ones fought over the two corpses they fought each other and managed to fatally wound each other.
Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions. In a short timeframe of a few breaths out of the twenty snakes there were at the beginning only five survived. This five were the strongest one out of the twenty snakes and even he wasn¡ät sure which one of this five will be the final survivor.
Marluxia studied every move of every snake during their infighting. During the fight his eyes seemed to glow a little bit yellow as he watched this fight. Every move of the snakes looked so beautiful. This fight mesmerized him. He didn¡ät even realize that the fight between the last five snakes took over one hour until the winner was decided. It was not so easily settled, as even the winner was really badly hurt. The snake which has one was originally completely white without anything else. Now his body was scarred. One scar was really ugly it went along it right eye if the scar was only a bit farther right it would have destroyed this snakes eye.
Sorrowful Marluxia fed this Snake a few healing herbs. It took sometime until all wounds were healed. He patted that little guys small head Now that you have won I should give you a name, don¡ät you think Marluxia sighted and whispered From now on you shall be called Oscar
| You named one of your Animals, as a named individual it will be from now on a ancestor of its decedents. |
With a smile Marluxia fed Oscar two drops of his blood. After that was done he got down on one knee and tipped with his finger on the snakes head and infused slowly Mana into it. This process took around two hours.
Suddenly Oscar started to light up. As Marluxia knew what is coming now he watched smiling as Oscars body got slowly deconstructed and then reconstructed. His frame got a lot more bulky. Oscars body was now no longer only around ten centimeters long, through the reconstruction his body was now almost one and a half meter long. Also instead of two poison fangs, four poison fangs decorated his jaw.
| Congratulation you created your first Stage 0 Monster of the Shiro Snake Race. How do you want to call the Stage 0? |
Marluxia pondered a long time. It took him almost an hour to get a name he liked.
Wicked Snow Snake
| Stage 0 of the Shiro Snake Race shall be called Wicked Snow Snake? |
Yes
After his evolution Oscar laid down in the pond and napped. Not only did he had a tough battle behind him he also evolved which was especially tough on his body and he first must refresh his energie. The easiest way for him to recover was to sleep in the pond because of the poison it contained.
Marluxia looked at the sleeping now evolved snake and sighted in his heart. In his opinion he had to pay a price that was almost too high. Luckily Oscar did evolve so the sacrifice of 19 basic animals did pay off. He scanned Oscar.

Chapter 5 - Creating the Second Floor
I will write certain things like Dungeon, Monster, Minion, Formation, things i think are important with capital letters.
__________________________________________________________________________________
Marluxia was rather proud of himself. He managed to let his first Minion evolve. It was not just a normal evolution, no he managed to evolve a rather normal animal into a real Monster. A smile adorned his handsome looking face.
That was just one tiny steep
Marluxia sighted loudly
There is still a lot to do until I can officially open my Dungeon to the public
Marluxia sat down in the pond cross-legged. Oscar was laying beside him, faintly you could hear him peacefully hissing. He slowly closed his eyes and concentrated on the dungeon. Marluxias view changed from the first-person-view to the third-person-view. He could see himself sitting in the pond.
First of all I should start and build my second floor
Marluxia could feel that every part of the dungeon is a part of him. He could use his Mana to extend his dungeon. He doesn¡ät even need to be physical where he wants to extend his dungeon. To a Dungeon Core the Dungeon is not only a security system to protect him it is also the Dungeon Cores cage. So you could also say that a Dungeon core is the prison warden of the cage, in which he the core is locked. The natural instinct of the dungeon core to strengthen his dungeon strengthens his cage. So a Dungeon is a curse hidden as a blessing for a Dungeon Core. Only if a Core is able to free himself from his prison is it possible to ascend to Godhood.
For a Dungeon God the Dungeon has an entire other meaning than for a Dungeon Core. The Core may not be able to leave his Dungeon, but a God is able to do it without any problems. It would theoretical a Dungeon God can just live in a human town if he wanted to. The humans would never be able to see any difference between a human and a Dungeon God. The meaning of a Dungeon to a Dungeon God is that of a paradise. The Dungeon God does not only rule over his Dungeon, no he can control everything about his Dungeon. He could even change and enforce new natural laws on his dungeon. That¡¯s why the Dungeon of a Dungeon Core looks like a plaything if you compare it to the Dungeon of a Dungeon God.
Marluxia used his Mana to start working on his second floor. Slowly he started to work the floor design out. Marluxia created one room after the other, all rooms on the second floor had the same size they were only 10x10x3 meter large. He worked slow, because he wanted to look perfectly like he wants it to. As a light source he used a Fire Mana infused Stone, which he placed into stone lamps. This stone lamps were attached to the ceiling and every one of this stone lamps had snakes engraved on it. Marluxia used almost the same thing on the first floor, only that they were there attached to the walls and not the ceiling. He wanted that only the lower part of the rooms was illuminated. That gave the first floor a darker touch as the people had still to be afraid of the dark places above them. Who knows maybe he will hide some flying Monsters there in the future if the towns people dare to anger him.

As he was only at the beginning stage of his dungeon he didn¡ät need especially high rooms as he didn¡ät have large Monsters at all. That¡¯s why the rooms on the second floor were not as high as the rooms on the first floor. As material for the floor and the walls he used white marble. From time to time he used ivy to decorate the walls or let them just hang down from the ceiling.
The rooms on the second floor were arranged in an inner and an outer square. Placed in the middle of this inner square was the boss room. The outer square consisted of twenty rooms. These twenty rooms were connected to each other through a hallway. To have a bit of contrast to all the white marble in his floor design he created the hallways out of black marble. The middle room on each side of the outer square was connected to the inner square. The inner square consisted of eight rooms. All this eight rooms were connected to the boss room. This was a security precaution. Then out of this eight hallways that connect to the boss room seven where hidden behind secret doors. If there should be a group of people how made it to the boss room Marluxia could still send all his Monsters through this secret passages to assist his boss in killing the intruders.
Because Marluxia wanted to prevent the intruders from creating short cuts, he laid a Mana Formation on every wall, the ceiling, the floor and even on the statues and altars on the first floor. The effect of the Formation he laid down was to reinforce materials. He also laid down a few other Formations.
Onto the altars he laid three additional Formations. The first additional Formation he laid had the task to prevent dust to cumulate on the altars. The task of the second Formation was to absorb possible offerings and teleport them to Marluxias own room, which was just behind the Boss Room. The last Formation he laid down was used only for entertainment as the only thing that Formation was to produce black smoke if the Formation gets infused with Mana.
Another Formation he laid down for show was placed in every statues eyes on the first floor. If the Formations get infused with Mana, they will a small flame. Marluxia could even affect which color this flame would have. The last and most important Formation he laid down was placed onto the staircase down to the second floor. It was a rather strong Barrier Formation, which should keep everybody out when it is activated. Marluxia thought it would be a great idea to be able to seal his dungeon off during dungeon construction.
Slowly I should start to summon inhabitants for my dungeon.
Chapter 6 - Creating a ecosystem
It looks like there are a few misunderstandings. First off all the first floor of the dungeon will be a graveyard so there will really only be a few animals and graves that¡¯s it. The second floor is where the real dungeon starts.
Well yes Marluxia could summon normal Animals to inhabit his dungeon, but they are animals not monsters. Animals will not give him a lot of protection that¡¯s why he first needs to create a few stage 0 Monsters like the Wicked Snow Snake. Only if he populates his dungeon with Stage 0 Monsters as defense can he can call the floor finished. Animals are only used as food for the stage 0 Monsters.
By the way Oscar is not his Dungeon Boss, well not until now. He only promised that he will make Oscar his Boss. If the Dungeon declares one Monster as a Boss it will forcefully evolve.
Until this chapter there was no need for him to create a functioning environment, as he didn¡ät have any predators in his dungeon.
______________________________________________________________________________
I should first summon a few Wicked Snow Snakes, so that they can already start to reproduce. This process will only be slow at the start so I should have enough time to create a functioning environment system.
Marluxia tapped on the ground and summoned ten Wicked Snow Snakes. The newly summoned Snakes where not at all comparable with Oscar. These snakes were only a bit over one and a half meter and also only had Poison Level 1 instead of Poison Level 2. The reason for the differences between the snakes was that Oscar was a naturally evolved one. The ones that did naturally evolve into a higher Realm are always stronger than the summoned versions.
Out of these ten snakes 5 had a slightly jade like glowing skin. The snakes with the jade like glowing skin were the female ones. As snakes were really vulnerable during their reproduction, Marluxia used his Mana to let the pond grow to almost four-times the size it was before and made it six-times as deep as it was. He made a few tunnels in the pond which all connected to a cave. This cave shall be the temporary den for the Wicked Snow Snakes.
Oviparous or viviparous, I am already thrilled to find out how they will reproduce
The reproduction of snakes can be divided into oviparous and viviparous. Oviparous Snake Races are these Snake Races that will lay eggs. Viviparous Snake Races are these that will give birth to living offspring.
Slowly Marluxia started to create his own ecosystem. The first thing he did was plant all kind of plants in his dungeon. He planted a few mushrooms, medical and as well poisonous herbs all over the dungeon. The first floor got also moos in a few places. These plants shall be the food for the few insects Marluxia summoned after he had planted what in his opinion was enough for the time being. The insects will then be the food for the Rats and Bats he had in his dungeon. To ensure that the rats and bats don¡ät get extinguished by his predators anytime soon he created a few caves where he positioned the nests. As the nests where now so positioned that no predator can reach them the rats and bats shouldn¡ät die out. As the ceiling in the first floor was unlighted he let the bats life on his first floor while he put the rats on the second.
After Marluxia finished creating his ecosystem did he sighted slightly exhausted. I almost used all my Mana just to create this little ecosystem. SchiSchiSchi He started to laugh and put his hands on his face. That ecosystem isn¡ät even needed as the Monsters could survive on absorbing the Dungeons Mana. I just created the ecosystem for the Dungeon to get a more natural feeling, but my problem with only having one kind of Monsters still stays
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Through summoning all this Animals, Marluxia got more skilled in waving Mana. He also was able to notice something rather interesting. The Animals he summoned were always created out of Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Life Mana. After he noticed this he tried a few times with his Mana around and now is able to create this rats and bats without the World Systems help.
When I got to choose a location, didn¡ät the World System tell me that because of the Death Mana in the surrounding it would be easier to cultivate Undead Monsters?
Marluxia pondered a bit. Maybe if I add Death Mana into the Mana Structure of the Monsters I can create undead ones. He sat down cross-legged and started to concentrate on the flow of the Mana that surrounds him. Marluxia started to gather the surrounding Death Mana and condense it into a simple structure. Slowly before his inner eyes he could see a small skeleton. After he had the feeling he has gathered enough Death Mana he slowly started to gather the Life Mana. After that he repeated the process with Fire, Earth, Water and Air Mana.
Slowly sweat dropped down from his face. Since he started with his experiment over two hours passed. It was exhausting to gather all the different kinds of Mana and weave them together. Slowly the glowing Mana-Ball which hovered before him changed its shape. Slowly but steady the Mana changed into something like a skeleton, but before the shape was completely manifested the Mana scattered. The scattering of the Mana happened suddenly and without and warning.
Driven by his wish to succeed, Marluxia started one experiment after another. Once he really did succeed everything went perfect there was only one little mistake and that was he used to much Life Mana. So the experiment resulted in forming a body but what he summoned was not an Undead he summoned something Dead. It was an abomination, but that experiment still made him happy as this was still the best results he created after around two weeks trying.
During his tenth experiment he used too much Fire Mana, which resulted in a rather huge explosion. The explosion did hurt him a lot. A few of these wounds are even now not completely healed. Luckily for him the huge burn in his face already healed.
During the seventeenth experiment he used too much Air Mana, which resulted in nothing more than dust. All his hard work destroyed into dust. The twenty-third experiment didn¡ät went that much better. At least he didn¡ät get hurt or turned his hard work into dust, that¡¯s some kind of achievement right? During that experiment he used to much Water Mana, which resulted in the creatures melting. During his thirty-second time he created a petrified version of a skeleton, the reason for that is the usage of too much Earth Mana.
Well it¡äs not like Marluxia didn¡ät gain anything during these two weeks. He got to know that his Wicked Snow Snakes are viviparous Snakes. And there is also that message that showed up
| Through your little experiments you got better and better with Magic.
You received + 100 Mana and + 3 in Magic |
Chapter 7 - Tenos Kingdom
*throws a large package of cookies on BloodAbysS head*
____________________________________________________________________________________________
Li Town was a small town situated on a mountain peak. The town people lived in small wooden huts. Every fireplace was lighted. Small smoke clouds rose from the chimneys. The live in that town was not easy as every year a lot of people died because of the never ending cold that stuck on this mountain. It was cold in the summer and even colder in the winter. Only around a few thousand people lived in this small town. Most of the young leave this town as soon as they could. In their opinion living on this mountain is meaningless. They live to die here sooner or later, because of the never ending cold. That¡¯s why that mountain got named Lonely Mountain by the common folks. As the people living on that mountain are waiting for death. Over the time the mountain was either used by people at the end of their life to live their last few years or by adventurer to train under these harsh conditions the mountain provided.
Li Town was situated in a small scale kingdom called Tenos. The military might of that kingdom was almost none existent. Luckily none of the surrounding kingdoms seemed interested in that small kingdom. The reason for that are the natural boarders of that kingdom. To the south, there was only water that¡¯s it. In the north and east a mountain range cut the other kingdoms from Tenos of. In the west were only barren lands. These natural boarders ensured Tenos viability, but cut of every possibility of trade.
The rescores of Tenos where rather lacking, as most of the land was clad in snow and ice almost all the time of the year. Only in the summer the snow clad land unwillingly reveled what is beneath all this snow.
Tenos could only survive until now because of the rescores it could gain from the few dungeons it had. In total this kingdom had only two dungeons until now. None of this dungeon was anything special. Both were birth Sword Dungeons, the most common Dungeon there is. Birth as a Sword Dungeon just meant that the Dungeon will produce swords more often than other items. One of them had ten floors and the other only had three floors. Both dungeons were situated in the mountain range that shielded the kingdom in the north and east against its enemies.
Both dungeons together only were able to provide the bare minimum the kingdom needed to survive. If the royal family and the nobles could come up with a grand plan the kingdom will die in a few decades.
The strongest adventurer in this kingdom was already an old man, which hit with the peak of Rank E the end of his potential. This old man was called the Lion of Tenos, not because he was the strongest no because his long gray hair looked like a lions mane. His real name was Leon Crane. Since a few years he lived on Lonely Mountain, he was there to either die or make a breakthrough to reach the D Rank. Adventurers were graded in Ranks. The lowest Rank was G and the highest Rank was A. Well it is the highest Rank that can be reached normally the Adventurer Guild can award certain Rank A Adventurer for extremely high merits award this Adventurer with an higher Rank. There were three such special Ranks and they were called S, SS and SSS.
Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator.
Almost ninety percent of all adventurers were ranked G. There were only around hundred peoples ranked F and to count on the Rank E Adventurers you need at most one hand. A normal small scale kingdom has over thousand Rank E Adventurers and their highest Adventurer were Rank C at last. Every middle scale kingdom had at least a handful of Rank A adventurer. To be called a grand kingdom at least one Rank S Adventurer must be developed by them.
There are rumors that the founding ancestor of the royal bloodline from Tenos was an exiled prince of a middle scale kingdom. The rumors say he was exiled because he conspired against his older brother the crown prince. As the crown prince was a soft-hearted person he only exiled his younger brother for his betrayal instead of killing him. So that prince was sent to one of the barren lands that existed on this continent, where he founded his own kingdom than. People say that exiled prince used to be an adventurer of the peak of Rank B.
One clue that this rumor may be true is the royal emblem, than it is a chained black crow. Of the surrounding kingdoms there are at least four that have a crow on their crest, but none of them are black. That¡¯s why people think the fonder changed the crow of his ancestors to a black one as he was the bad seed. Another clue to this theory is the royal family¡¯s weapon art. Most royal family¡äs weapon art is a sword-type weapon art. The royal weapon art of the Tenos kingdom is a spear-type weapon art. One of the royal family¡äs they share the crow with also has a royal spear weapon art.
Another rumor claims that tomb of this founding ancestor of the royal family is located on the graveyard onto of Lonely Mountain. Lonely Mountain was situated rather in the middle of this small kingdom. It is only a travel of around two days away from the Capital of Tenos. Rather funny this Capital doesn¡¯t have a real name, it¡äs just called Royal City.
What many people didn¡ät know that Leon Crane is the older brother of the current king. The favorite weapon of Leon Crane is a spear. The spear he is using is a heirloom from the founding king of Tenos. It had an rather impressing name, the weapon was called Sin of the Past. The main reason why he now lives on Lonely Mountain is that he hops his ancestor would grant him a enlightenment so that he could breakthrough to the next Rank.
As this kingdom is so small there is only one building of the Adventurer Guild located on Tenos. The Adventurer Guild is located on the bottom of Lonely Mountain. The reason for that is rather logical as it was possible to reach every town of Tenos from there with a maximum of a six day long travel time with a horse.
Chapter 8 - A Dungeon God learns how to smith
Marluxia was sitting cross-legged on a submerged platform in the pond. Oscar was laid beside him. The Wicked Snow Snakes almost tripled in these two weeks he was experimenting around with Mana. Almost ever Snake survived only a few unlucky ones died shortly after they were born.
I should learn a few skills why I have still not opened my Dungeon
With a sighed Maluxia opened his Item Summon Menu and switched to the Skill Book tab.
Are you fucking with me so I have to even create my own Skills to create Skill Books or what? Is the World System me trolling or what that can¡ät be fucking true! Come on¡..
Marluxia sighted loud and shook his head. He slowly rose from the pond and walked towards one of the walls of the Boss Room. With a tap on this wall in the Boss Room, a secret passage opened. He slowly walked along the hallway which was hidden behind the secret passage. At the end of this passage was Marluxias own small room.
Marluxia used his Mana to let the earth rise around a meter. In the middle of this newly created platform he inscribed a inscription pattern. If he infused this pattern with Mana it would create a high temperature flame. The exact heat was controllable.
After he created his stove, Marluxia created an anvil and a tray, using the exact same method he used to create the stove. The water he placed in the tray came from the slightly poisonous pond of the Boss Room. In Marluxia that was not enough he wanted to make the water more poisonous, so he milk Oscar to get his poison.
Oscar disapproved of it, but as he couldn¡ät go against any of the orders from Maluxia, he still got milked. Marluxia filed the poison in vials he summoned. As Marluxia was already milking Oscar he filled almost a hundred vials with poison.
Where should I store all this vials?
Pondered Marluxia after he realized that he may had filed to much poisons as he didn¡ät have a place to store them all. Create more room to store the poison? Never suddenly Marluxia remembered a specific Adventurer that explored his old Dungeon once. That person used a rather interesting ability. He infused his Mana into his own shadow and so that Adventurer was able to store things in his shadow.
Marluxia stood before all vials, which were now filled with a potent poison and placed a light source behind his back, so that his shadow now covered all this vials. Slowly he infused his Mana into his shadow while trying to pull the vials into his shadow. After a few minutes the vials suddenly vanished, but still Marluxia could feel them and he knew if he wanted to he could pull them back out as they were now stored in his shadow.
| Congratulations you created a new Skill. With this Skill it is now possible to store a extremely limited amount of items into your shadow and also extract it whenever you want. How do you want to call this newly created Skill? |
Minor Shadow Storage
Marluxia thought and extracted around ten of this vials out of his shadow. He poured this ten vials, filled with poison to the brim, into the tray he had created in his Room. The slightly green colored pond water changed it color after the poison was poured in it, the water was now a bit darker than before and much more poisonous.
| It¡äs now possible to created Minor Shadow Storage Skill Books |
After Marluxia saw that he smiled happily, after experimenting two weeks on his undead project with almost no result he felt rather gloomy. Now he finally created his own first skill. Well that skill was based on a stolen idea, but he created this skill himself, so he still felt proud of it.

Marluxia walked to one of the walls on his Room and placed his hands flat on the wall. He infused all the Mana he still had in his body into the wall. Before he did that he converted all of his Mana into Earth Mana. Through the influence of this much Earth Mana all of a sudden accrued iron ore veins where Marluxia placed his hands.
He summoned a pickaxe, a hammer and pliers. Every one of them counted for the World System as Basic Item so Marluxia could summon them without any problems. Marluxia grabbed the pickaxe and started to extract the iron ore from the wall. As he wanted to temper his body he thought it would be funny to start forging. Grabbing the extracted iron ore with the pliers he heat them down over the high temperature flame of his self-made stove.
After the iron was heated enough he started with the forging process. He placed the warm iron on his anvil and slowly started to hit it with his hammer. The hits were really sluggish as Marluxia was not proficient in forging.
Sadly the first few tries resulted in something unidentifiable. Marluxia tried to forge a spear head as it was the easiest thing he could think of. Over time he got a bit more proficient with the forging process, well at least the tenth try produced a spear head. The spear head was twelve centimeters long and around 5 centimeters wide on the widest place.
The still warm spear head was cooled down in the tray beside the anvil. Because of the poison in that water the iron spear head got a slight green glow on it. Without even checking it Marluxia knew instantly that being wounded by this spear would result in being poisoned. Well the poison would not be strong at all but it still could make a difference in a fight.
As base for the spear he used an around a Meter long round stick. After he assembled the two pieces, he proudly stroke the base of the spear and whispered: I will call you Little Snake
| Minor Rank G spear-type weapon, infused with a minor paralyze poison created. As it was your first ever created ranked item you unlocked the Stat Luck. Luck influence the possibility to produce ranked item also it influences the possibility of item drops. |
After he put the spear on a weapon rack on the opposite wall he continued with his forging. Slowly over time Marluxias movement got less sluggish and he felt more proficient in forging every time his hammer hit the warm iron.
Over time the weapon rack on the opposite wall got filled with more and more spears. In course of a week Marluxia managed to create seven more spears. Sadly all of them were only of Minor Rank G. To be true Marluxia managed to create over thirty spear heads but only seven of them were able to get ranked. He even tried to forge other things than spear heads, like sword or axes, but all tries to create something else than spear heads resulted in failure. So he only finished the ranked spear heads and melted down the unranked products down to save iron.
Weapons are ranked, just like adventurers are. There is no difference in the ranking system of weapons and adventurers. Every rank was subdivided into minor, intermediate and peak. Being able to create seven weapons that were ranked minor G is already not bad for a beginner blacksmith like Marluxia, especially if they only started forging weapons.
| Congratulation through your hard efforts, in the way of forging, you unlocked the passive ability Blacksmith. From now on the chances of creating ranked weapons improve by five percent |
Chapter 9 - Rise of the first Skeletons
After Marluxia emerged from his room, he was pleasantly surprised as he realized that his dungeon now housed around a hundred Wicked Snow Snakes. That may does not sound like a lot but it was still enough to ensure his safety for now. Theoretically Marluxia could now open his Dungeon.
It¡äs still not enough to open the Dungeon. Looks like I need to submerge all my time now again in my Undead project. I must, no I will succeed this time.
Marluxia scratched his head. Before that I must do something important. Oscar, my boy come over here it¡äs soon time to open the Dungeon so I should now appoint a my Dungeon Boss
As all the snakes heard the words Dungeon Boss they all started happily hissing, because all of them knew how important a Dungeon Boss appointment is. When a Dungeon Boss is appointed by the Dungeon Core or in this case by the Dungeon God the appointed Monster will evolve into a higher being. Also the soul of that being is forever bond onto this Dungeon, which means after the Boss is defeated his soul will return to the Dungeon Core or God. The Dungeon Core or God in this case can easily create a new body for the Boss than. That¡¯s why Bosses are always the strongest Monster in a Dungeon as they never really die and they retain their memories.
Oscar slowly sidled towards Marluxia. Proudly he made his way through the mass of Wicked Snow Snakes with his head raised high. In his eyes Marluxia could see the yearn after power. Over the course of time Oscars build had become even more bulky, through the influence of the high Mana density on the second floor.
From now on you are the Guardian of a God be proud little Snake and receive this blessing. From this second on your yearn after power has to skyrocket as you have to make your Ancestors proud of you
With a slight tap on Oscars head Marluxia appointed him as his first Dungeon Boss. Every five floors he will be able to create a new Dungeon Boss. After Marluxia taped Oscars head a Mana Formation lighted up under Oscars body. A lot of Mana was sucked from the surrounding and pulled towards the Formation beneath Oscar. All this Mana entered Oscars body and tempered him.
After around an hour passed since this process started the light of the Formation slowly dimmed down. When the Formation than completely had faded Oscars body didn¡ät change at all. He still had the same length and all. Marluxia didn¡ät get disappointed because of this as he could feel that Oscars aura completely changed. What the Mana tempered was not only the bones in his body and his protective scales, the most of the tempering got Oscars mind.
¡°Massster thisss little Sssnake will not dissssappoint you¡±
Oscar hissed and lowered his head. It seems like Oscar did something like a bow towards Marluxia. With a smile on Marluxias face he patted Oscars head. So you can speak now was everything he said.
| Oscar the Wicked Snow Snake evolved into a Stage 0 Boss Monster. Boss Monster are only half a step higher than the normal version of the Monster, on the same stage as them. Boss Monsters are more intelligent and through that more likely to evolve. Through the Boss appointment the snake called Oscar gained the ability to create a poisonous Aura. |
¡°Massster thisss Sssnake wondersss, why you try to create Undead from sssscretch. Couldn¡ät you ussse the dead humansss of the graveyard as raw materialsss?¡±
Oscar said what he was thinking for the last few days. In his opinion shouldn¡ät it be easier to create Undead successful when corpse where used as raw materials. He saw all the times Marluxia tried to create Undeads and that every one of these experiments failed.
After Marluxia heard Oscars question his body grew suddenly stiff and he mumbled. Why didn¡ät I thought of that sooner? a big smile creped on his face Thank you Oscar you were a great help Marluxia grabbed empty air and suddenly a shovel materialized in his hand. Looks like I will dig some graves up
Marluxia waited until it was pitch-black outside. Then he created a small tunnel to the outside world. Thank to the Snake Bloodline in his veins the darkness was no problem for him. He could still see as good as if it was daytime. Marluxia was now standing in a graveyard. He searched around in the vicinity what he looked for were graves that looked like they weren¡¯t tend to in the last few years. After looking around for a few minutes he found a few graves that seemed like the best choice. Slowly he dug eight people out and stored their bones in his Shadow Storage.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it.
He tried his best to let the graves look like before he stared his evil work. After he felt like it should be now okay to leave it so he started to hasty make his way back into the dungeon. After he returned Marluxia destroyed the path that leaded outside.
With a smile he extracted his test subjects, the eight skeletons and started to slowly guide Mana in one of these corpses. I guided a small amount of Fire Mana in every single bone of that skeleton, because he didn¡ät want a explosion like last time he only plant to use around 10% Fire Mana of the total amount of Mana he wanted to use to create this undead. As he didn¡ät want the bones to melt down like the last time he only infused half of the amount he used of Fire Mana to infuse the bones with Water Mana. This made the bones slightly get a jade-like glow.
Maluxia had the feeling, that even though he had to use every four base elements Mana to create an animal, that he shouldn¡ät infuse the bones with any Air Mana, because they would immediately turn to dust through the Air Mana. Another feeling he had was that Undead were deeply bond with earth. So he infused the bones with around half the amount more than he had by Fire Mana in Earth Mana.
As the Undead didn¡ät really life he also didn¡ät use any bit of Life Mana instead he used for the rest of the percentage Death Mana. After he infused the bones with Death Mana and the infused Death Mana reached the percentage of 55% of the completely in the bones infused Mana, the bones started to glow bright.
Marluxia was already completely covered in sweat. The process took him almost five hours, but after he saw that the bones started to glow he knew deep inside that he had succeeded. The bones assembled together to a skeleton, which rose than from the ground and kneeled before Marluxia. Slowly Marluxia reached behind him, he was sitting before the weapon rack which contained the spears he forged. He grabbed the spear he named Little Snake and gave it the first Skeleton he created.
It looks like it¡äs much easier to create undead with a raw material as base.
After Marluxia recovered all his Mana he started to create the other Skeletons. The reason why he only dug up eight graves was, because he only had eight finished spears. It would be dumb to place a Skeleton without a proper weapon in his dungeon so until he has not finished more weapons it was just a waste of Mana to create more Skeletons.
Through the processes to create the other Skeletons Marluxia got more efficient. He needed less time and less Mana with every try. After he created the last Skeleton and awarded him with the last weapon Marluxia currently had, a blue Screen popped up before him.
| Skill Summon Minor Undead Skeletons acquired |
I didn¡ät get them in my Monster Summon Menu?
A bit confused Marluxia decided to check out his new acquired Skill.
| Summon Minor Undead Skeletons Level 1
User is able to make the dead rise again under his control to life.
8/10 Minor Skeletons summoned
It¡äs possible to summon Minor Skeletons without a Raw Material as Base, only the Mana cost to activate this Skill would double than. If a dead body used as Raw Material for this Skill, there exists a very low possibility that the Skeleton regains a bit of his former memories. |
Marluxia smirked as he read the description of this Skill. With a dark grin he rubbed his hands together Looks like it¡äs time to open up my Dungeon, if I am lucky a lot of unlucky adventurer dies and I can use them as raw materials for this new acquired Skill. How knows maybe a few Skeleton can use a few of their former abilities or at last acquire a bit of their former weapon mastery.

I have to say thank you to wolfmaster.
His monster knowledge was a really great help for me.
Hope to work out a few more monsters with you^^
Chapter 10 - Even the old can cry like babys
* POV Leon Crane *
Crane was sitting before the campfire in his chimney. You could faintly hear the crackling of the fire, in the faint light the fire was spending Crane was reading in an old looking book. This book was the oldest book of the royal library of Tenos, it was the one of only a few books, in which the founding of the kingdom was described.
In Cranes reach, leaning against the wall, was the heirloom of the royal family. This heirloom was a Middle Rank F spear. In the whole kingdom of Tenos there are no more than three Rank F weapons. One was the royal heirloom Sin of the Past, Crane was using and the other two were the swords the two dungeons of Tenos were birth with.
Ranked Weapons were farther divided in Minor quality, Low quality, Middle quality, High quality and Peak.
The head of Sin of the Past is forged out of black iron. This special iron is twice as durable and sharp as normal iron. On the widest point this head is ten centimeters wide. The total length of the head is around forty centimeters. The base of the spear is a bit longer than a meter and an half, which makes the total length of the spear almost two meters. Black iron is three times as heavy as normal iron, so to make the weapon not too heavy to wield the creator used only normal iron for the base of the spear.
The Sin of the Past was created by the founding king of Tenos short after the kingdom was created. There is a legend that during the forging process the founding king infused some of his essence blood into the weapon, which enables only people from his bloodline to wield this weapon.
Of the other two ranked F weapons one is in the hand of the current king of Tenos, Leons younger brother. The main weapon art the royal family trains with is a spear art, but that doesn¡ät mean that the royal princes aren¡ät trained in other weapons. As Leon was better with the spear than his brother Juan it was natural that the royal heirloom would go to Leon. That doesn¡ät mean that Juan was really weaker than his brother, it¡äs just that Juan could fight better with a sword than with a spear so he wasn¡ät really interested in the Sin of the Past.
When than the first dungeon was found and it contained a Minor Rank F Sword the king was rather pleased, because the leader of the team, which cleaned the dungeon was his older brother Leon. Leon gifted that sword to his brother, to strengthen the power of the royal family. This sword was a claymore, which contained a tiny flame seed in the knob. If this flame seed is infused with Mana it covers the blade of the sword in fire. The name of this sword is Fire Whisp.
The other ranked F weapon is called Hope. The reason why that sword is called so is because on the day the dungeon was discovered, the queen gave birth to the crown prince. In which possession it is at the moment. Hope is a minor ranked F long sword, coated in a holy aura. This holy aura makes the sword more effective against undead.
As the item the dungeon was birth with is called the first item a group of adventurer, which killed the Boss, gained from the final loot. This item was created together with the dungeons and shows in which kind of item the dungeon will be specialized. That doesn¡ät mean that there will always be a sword in the final loot if the dungeon is specialized but it¡äs more likely to find the items in the dungeon with which it was birth. The birth item is the highest ranked item the dungeon will be able to produce in a long time.
Crane just wanted to go to bed as it was already really late and he had to teach his nephew, the second prince in the way of the spear. As the second prince had the best talent in the spear out of his brothers, the king sent him to his royal uncle to study. Leon was naturally really happy to teach his nephew, as he himself had no sons, but the family heirloom still needed a worthy successor.
Suddenly a loud noise could be heard on the whole mountain peak. In the first few moments Leon thought it would be a avalanche but then suddenly his door was pushed open hasty and a young boy no older than fourteen rushed in and screamed
Royal Uncle!!! Royal Uncle the graveyard suddenly vanished!
What are you talking kiddo?
Crane asked rather confused.
how can a graveyard suddenly vanish? Was that the loud nice I heard? No why should a graveyard suddenly vanish and even if it did how could it produce such a loud sound?
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
As the boy saw the confused and look in Cranes eyes, he knew that his royal uncle didn¡ät believe him. So he grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the place where the dungeon used to be.
Crane let the boy pull him towards the graveyard. Leon thought that boy had just a bad dream or so, but when they arrived at the place where the graveyard used to be, he couldn¡ät believe his own eyes. At first Leon thought that maybe the avalanche had covered the graveyard, but the graveyard was no more, there was nothing that let people think there ever was one.
There was no gravestones, no tombs, there was only one thing and that was a rather big stone staircase. When Crane saw this staircase his whole body started to shake. Slowly more and more people of the town assembled around the old man and the boy.
Where is the graveyard?
What is going on here?
A few of the assembled people exclaimed. All of them were confused. None of them had any idea where their graveyard vanished to. None of them had any idea how that could have happened.
Cranes body started to shake more violently and slowly one tear after another flows down his face. He was an old man, next year he would be sixty years old, and he started to cry louder and louder in front of so many people.
At first the assembled people looked confused at crying old man in front of them until he suddenly dropped on his knees. His face starring at the sky and he started to laugh whole heartily. His next words will forever be remembered by the persons assembled.
Heavens, ancestor is this your blessing? The heavens granted us another dungeon
Only now did the people realize that this old man was just so excited that he could do nothing else than cry, because he was so happy at the moment. The two already existing dungeons could barely provide the kingdom with the minimum needed to let the kingdom survive. Without the possibility to trade this kingdom would surly die sooner or later, but now in the times were the kingdom is just barely surviving the heavens granted them another dungeons.
All of the people started too laughed heartily and joined the man in his crying. This dungeon would ensure their survival. No what it ensured is the future of their children, the future of this kingdom. For them it really was a blessing granted by the heavens.
* POV Marluxia *
After Marluxia created the staircase leading to Li Town, he transferred the already existing graveyard, of Li Town, into his dungeon. The old graveyard was situated in the east room on the first floor. The old graveyard didn¡ät even fill half of that room.
Every time a dungeon creates his entrance a loud sound could be heard in the surrounding. This sound was used by the dungeons to tell the nearby living people of it existence.
The sound didn¡ät create a avalanche, how lucky I am. Wait a moment is this because of my newly acquired luck skill?
Marluxia thought smiling as he placed a chest at the end of the Boss Room. The chest wasn¡ät locked. The materials used to create this chest were stone, as he thought a wooden chest would destroy the atmosphere of the room. A wooden chest isn¡ät really temple like so it needed to be a stone chest. The chest was decorated with two snakes on each side. He placed the only skill book he can create until now, the skill book for the minor shadow inventory, into the chest in the Boss Room.
Now I have to wait
Marluxia thought and sat down on a chair which he created beforehand as it would be tiring to stay all day long. On the wall which this chair faced you could see the outside world. At the moment you could only see the entrance of the dungeon.
Marluxia only had to wait for around ten minutes until the first humans could be seen on the screen. He eagerly watched as one old man started to tremble out of happiness. After a while that man even dropped to his knees and asked if this was ancestors blessing.
Humans are really interesting creatures. It will be funny to watch their reactions, when they realize that I am a Skill Book Dungeon.
He said smiling as he watched around thirty people crying out of happiness.
News
Originally I wanted to edit the chapters a bit to correct a few mistakes. But when I was reading them again I noticed that editing these chapters is not enough. Every chapter has only around 1000 words, they are simply too short. I also noticed a few other things I didn¡ät like about them to be true, almost everything. So instead of writing new chapters or editing the old ones I am currently completely rewriting them. I already finished the first one. It is completely different than the old chapters. I hope you all will like the rewritten ones more. I will delete all the old chapters probably tonight, after I have posted the new one. The story will be different and there will be a few new things you all will hopefully like. Sorry but I have to do this restart or else I will not be happy with this story. The first chapter of the new story has around 2500 words.
This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.I hope you will like my new version of the graveyard of the dungeon god. In the first few (first two or three) chapters you will still find a few things, which I took over from one of the ten chapters of the old version, but don¡ät be sad there will be a lot of new things also. Will be funny to read your reactions to the new ¡°Marluxia¡±.
Chapter 1 - What鈥瞫 a dungeon god?
I hope you enjoy will enjoy this new version as much as i do. Just so that you know the words dungeon and realm will be used as synonyms from now on. Please tell me in the comments what you think about the new "Marluxia". I am rather interested what you think about that. XD

______________________________________________________________________________________________
Marluxia, who used to be one of the most ancient dungeon cores, woke up in a void space. The last thing he could remember was how the human kingdom, which he helped to develop, went on an all out war against him. This kingdom allied with three of the surrounding kingdoms in a conquest to unify the continent under their control.
"Can¡ät believe they turned against me...."
He sighted and tried to feel his surroundings, but he couldn¡ät feel anything at all. It was almost like he was trapped in this void space. All he could feel was emptiness. He couldn¡ät even feel any mana at all, which should be impossible as mana was something the world was made from. Everything has mana dwelling in it. Even the dead and things like stones have mana flowing in it. Mana is the reason plants grow and also is the reason why ores come to existence.
Mana can be subdivided into seven different kinds. For every element exists a special kind of mana. There is Fire Mana, Water Mana, Earth Mana, Air Mana, Lightning Mana, Life Mana and Death Mana as well.
After Marluxia was able to calm himself down a little, after all there happened a lot of things recently. First he was betrayed and killed by the kingdom, which he helped to develop into what it is now, than he suddenly appeared in a empty room and the last thing he can clearly remembered is the system message in the moment of his death, which told him that he reached the requirement to evolve into a dungeon god.
By the way what exactly is a dungeon god?
| Dungeon gods are beings better known as gods of creation. The purpose of them is to create new life forms. Shall we start with the process of creating your body? |
If Marluxia hadn¡ät gotten used to the randomness of the system messages, since years, he would have jumped out of fright, well if he could move at least. As he was used to them, he only smiled a bit confused when the message suddenly showed up.
Yes, please
| As base form of a gods body a human body is recommended. Want to use a human as base form or do you want to know what else can be used as base forms? |
Marluxia frowned a bit when he saw that message. He was just recently killed by humans, so naturally he wasn¡ät so pleased when the system recommended a human body. Well another thing was that a human body was rather weak at the beginning, only through harsh training and a few lucky encounters can they really be strong.
Wouldn¡ät it be better to take a demon or some kind of monster as base from? Wouldn¡ät it be rather dump to use one of the weakest races as my body? He sighed and shook his head
Mind telling me why a human body is recommended? Humans are rather weak, there needs to be a reason why you recommended that as base form right?
| A body made with a human as base form, can easier wander around the world. As you have to collect items, animals, monster and such things. The more there are the better, as your realm will develop faster than. |
Are we currently in my realm ? Well your right a body, which uses a human as base form will not be attacked by humans so easily. So why should I choose an stronger base form than instead of a safer base form. In the worst case scenario it is still easier to negotiate with a monster if you are a human than when you are a monster and the other party is a human. Yes I choose a human as my base from. Am I able to change a few things?
| Correct we are currently in your realm. This realm dwells in its own dimension and as long as you don¡ät open a dungeon entrance no one else except you can enter it. For humans there is no difference between an actual realm of a god and a dungeon. What changes do you wish to make? |
After that a screen which showed two humans appeared before him. One of these humans was male why the other one was female. Both of them looked like they were around 16 years old. Beside this two human base forms he could spot a list with things he could possible change on the base from. On this list were things like skin color, hair color, eye color, height and so on. One thing especially interested him when he saw it. It was the possibility to add a bloodline of a monster to this body.
Is there a possibility for me to choose the bloodline of one of my former dungeon bosses? By the want only show me the male base from as I will make my divine body a man and not a woman.
| It is possible to infuse your blood system of your new body with the blood of one of your former dungeon bosses. The reason why the character creation window shows two bodies is because when something evolves to a god, his soul will be split in two. As the soul would be so powerful that one body alone can¡¯t contain it, so the soul needs to be split. Through this way it is also possible for one body too look for something useful in the real world while the other body creates and manage your god realm. Shall both bodies be changed to male? Most gods preferred bodies have different genders. |
Marluxia sighed as he read that message. it looks like some myth about the gods are real after all. Well no wonder that some gods aren¡ät clearly gendered in their religion. These gods probably have a male and a female body.
Marluxia pondered a bit about which bloodline he should choose. He had a few rather powerful ones in his former dungeon, after a while he choose to use the bloodline of his first and also strongest dungeon boss. This particular dungeon boss was a Naga. So getting its bloodline would sure give him the ability to create poison. As for the bodies gender he didn¡ät really care about that so he chose to let them have different genders.
After the bloodline of the Naga was added to his new bodies another message showed up, which stated that he gained the ability to create poison and that he got a minor resistance against poison as well as minor night vision, because of the bloodline he had chosen.
The human bodies changed a bit after the bloodline was added. The thing, which changed the most, would be the eyes of his two bodies. Marluxia had now snake like orange colored eyes. Also they got a snake scale like pattern on their bodies¡¯ skin.
Marluxia took his time while creating his future bodies. When he finished the creation of his new bodies, his soul was torn apart. Marluxia will forever remember that moment, the reason for that was that even when he died he didn¡ät feel as much pain as he was feeling now. Even though he was in so much pain he forced himself to not even make the tiniest bit of a sound. The process of getting the soul torn apart is a really slow process, but needed to be done to infuse both of his divine bodies. After a while Marluxia lost his consciousness, because of the pain. Short after that his consciousness split in two and each part fused with one of the two bodies.

Slowly both bodies opened their eyes at the same time. Both of them were sitting cross-legged in this nothingness, which was their godly realm.
We are one and the same. It would be annoying to call each other Marluxia
Both consciousnesses said at the same time, while they smiled at each other.
So I will be Mar¡
The male part of Marluxias consciousness said. His smile was a kind of rather bold one. Marluxia created Mar to be a front fighter. He had broad shoulders, a bulky frame and defined muscles. His hair was shoulder long and pink. His face was and all were really handsome. A long black hooded leather coat, decorated with a few chains, was what Mar was wearing.
And I will be Luxia
The female part of Marluxias consciousness said. Her smile was the kind of heartwarming type of smile. Marluxia created Luxia to be a mage. Her figure was so enchanting. She could easily capture the hearts of a lot of man. Her skin had a jade-like glow. Her hair was hip-long and purple. Luxia was wearing the exact same kind of coat, only was here coat white instead of black.
Luxias smile sadly turned a bit bitter after some time. There was something that worried her a lot and that was that she didn¡ät knew what to do now. They had nothing in this realm, so even if they went outside of their dimension and start to collect a few animals on what should they feed on? Luxia just wanted to ask Mar if he had some ideas, when another message showed up.
| To start up your realm you got fifty-thousand mana. Use them to create the layout of the first floor of your realm. To gather more mana you would need to attract adventurer into your realm. The longer they stay in your dungeon the more mana you can drain from them, the best case would be if they die in your dungeon. For adventurer to be able to access your dungeon you will need to place an entrance for them. |
When Mar saw that, he chuckled and looked at Luxia, which smiled at him. Because they are one person so they also share their thoughts with each other. The reason why he chuckled was because both of them had the same idea. The first floor, well it would be better to call it the zeroth floor, would be a graveyard for the entire adventurer which are going to die inside their realm.
What gods called their realms were for humans nothing more than harder dungeons. They never had the idea that it could be something else, than in their opinion as long as there were monsters breed in it, it is a dungeon.
The first room the two of them created was a rather big room with a size of around 100x100x25. The measurement, which is used in creating rooms, is blocks of 1 cubic meter. Every twenty blocks there is a large statue on each side of the walls. These statues were not some random statues every statue was one of the old Dungeon Bosses in Marluxias dungeon, when he was still a dungeon core. This was their way of saying thanks for all the service they did for them and also for them to remember who they used to be. In every direction was a tunnel which connected with rooms of a size from 50x50x10. At the end of each room was a rather big altar. As the two of them seem to have knowledge about inscription patterns, they added a few for the atmosphere, because they placed in every eye of every statue an inscription pattern, which produces a tiny flame. In the middle of the first room was also another statue. This statue was partly male and partly female. The left part of the statue was modeled after Mar and the right part of the statue was modeled after Luxia. Before this statue was the passage to the second floor and the first real floor of this dungeon.
For the second floor they only created a circular room, with a diameter of 40 blocks and a height of 5 blocks. In the middle of this room was a pound with a diameter of around 5 blocks. The reason for that was simple as they needed a large amount of mana for the graveyard, so they wanted to don¡ät spent much mana on the second floor for now. Then they wanted to use the remaining 500 mana for creating some kind of ecosystem.
What shall we do now? What possibilities do we have
Luxia asked into the room, than she hoped the world system would still help them a little as they know nothing about summoning things.
| Get plants and animals from outside of your realm. Plucked plants can be analyzed and then summoned. It is possible to alter them than with mana. To get animals into your realm there are currently two ways. Number one open an entrance and hope animals will come into your realm out of curiosity or such a thing. Option number two catch animals yourself. After animals entered your realm and they are corrupted from your mana you can try to subdue them. Animals that have eaten their fill are easier to subdue. After they are subdued it is possible to let them evolve naturally or alter them after your wish. |
Looks like we have to create monster through evolving animals. Shall I try to catch a few animals?
Mar asked Luxia. He wondered what kind of animals he may could find outside and how they can cultivate them as soon as possible into monsters. He already saw himself fighting heroically against a dragon or something like this. Luxia sighed before she said loudly with a smile on her face
Forget it, let us open an entrance in the outside world. Because of the dense mana in this realm it will not take long to attract a few animals. Let us rather look what kind of things we can already summon there must be something. I am pretty sure we don¡ät have to start at zero. Base items should be possible to summon already. World System please show us our summoning menu.
| Following basic things can be summoned: Minor herb and moss |
With a stunning smile Luxia opened the entrance of the realm and placed a few minor herbs in the first room on the first floor as well as a bit of that moss. I will use this minor herbs to attract a few animals and subdue them than. As I am the mage it should be easier for me to subdue them.
At first Mar was a bit disappointed that Luxia was so against his idea of catching animal himself, but after some time he had to admit that it was a dump idea. He maybe a god but that still doesn¡ät mean that he is able to catch anything without any equipment.
Hey Luxia do you think it is possible to create a poisonous herb if we drop bit of our blood on this minor herbs?
He summoned a minor herb before him. At the moment he was sitting on the shore of the pound in the second floor. With a smile on his face he used his nail to cut his thumb. A single drop of blood fell on the herb before the wound was already closed again.
We gods sure have a really good regeneration, don¡ät you think Luxia?
