《[AEAC] Amazing and exciting adventure of Clavius》 Chapter 1 First Time Meeting a Mysterious Boy Clavius woke up. While he is not able to see even his own hand in front of his eyes, Clavius tried to ascertain his situation. His body feels weary and sore. His memories seem lacking, like a huge hole was ripped into his head and the most important things, which happened in his life, disappeared. Frowning, Clavius wondered if he might be blind. Maybe he even prayed to the gods:¡°If only a little bit of light could be seen from anywhere! Please! I just want to find out if I''m blind!¡°. It doesn''t seem like Clavius is a person of piety and we wouldn''t want him to fake it right? While it seems like a normal person would freak out and panic, Clavius only felt tired and disoriented. Clavius started to feel around the ground. He followed the rough surface of a lever like object, only to accidentally push it into the ground. Shrinking back from the sudden impulse, the ground disappeared and he fell. Pitch-black surroundings and the sound of the wind whistling by his ears made Clavius really afraid. He should be nervous! He should start panicking at least! But it seems like our Clavius is excited? Which normal, and sane person, would feel excitement falling down a dark space, while steadily gaining speed? Back to the story. Clavius felt the wind whistling by, as it started to lightly cut him. His insane falling speed didn''t seem to shrink even an iota, instead gaining even more. The cuts started accumulating and his body was like a Canvas, while the sharp wind was the pencil, cutting him ever so slowly. Not a single sound escaped Clavius, as his skin started to peel off and his muscles started lacerating. Slashing open his skin. His raw flesh and sinews dissolved, while the ghastly white from his bones shone through, till even they couldn''t hold on. Clavius completely disintegrated. You might ask me things like: ?Hey, is this for real?", "Wasn''t Clavius our main character?", "Why did he try to caress a lever in a place without even a tiny speck of light?", "Is Clavius a lever-pervert?", or, " Is he a nutcase for feeling excitement in the dark and getting ripped apart?¡°. NO. Well.. yes this is for real. Yes, Clavius is our main character. Well why shouldn''t he be allowed to caress a lever? Maybe he is a lever-pervert. We won''t find out about him, if nobody will try to uncover his secrets and guide him the ''right'' path! Clavius is like a newborn, well maybe not completely like a newborn. Clavius is a handsome, dark haired, dark eyed, little above the usual average height, slightly muscular- type of character without memories in a mysterious place. He is not sure what he should do, so I took it upon myself to guide our little Clavius with your help! This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version.I dare say two minds are better than one, and maybe lots of brains are better than two. Everyone together should be able to help our puppet..-*cough* sorry for the slip of the tongue. Everyone together should be able to help our hero through this dangerous place, guide him to a few hundred deaths, directly into another dangerous place or maybe even find his one true love?(Or 100 unique girls which are all of deep character and charisma in a harem!) Lets go back in the story and try to help out Clavius for starters! Clavius woke up blind..- no. Clavius woke up without eyes..that''s not it..where was the spirit?! CLAVIUS WOKE..- Clavius tried to feast his eyes on the new world. He got a new chance at life while his past mistake, by pushing a lever in a dark place, was annulled. Clavius was still surrounded by darkness, so he couldn''t feast his eyes on anything at all, so he tried to listen. From far away a wild rushing noise was heard. The noise could be a stream, might be a river of acid or maybe hundreds of thousands of insects, clacking and clicking away with their small carapaces, emulating the sound of a rushing river. Yuck. Good luck Clavius. His next option was to use his sense of taste. You think Clavius is not idiotic enough to taste the ground to get information on his surroundings?! Wrong. The ground tastes of dust, dirt and stones. Using his amazing intellect, Clavius decided to use his sense of smell initially, and his sense of touch for last. Clavius started sniffing the air, like the dog he is. A small air current, coming from his right side, smelled like faeces, while the other directions had no distinct odour. Clavius started flailing around in the air, without reason nor purpose. Strengthening his resolve with that bizarre goblin mating dance, our hero set out to feel around his vicinity. He found himself hitting his head onto the hard ceiling. Grumbling, Clavius stared into empty space, giving someone a really annoyed look. I wonder what Clavius tried to tell us with that action. Slowly putting one foot in front the other, our hero reached a wall. Our amazing and exciting first adventure with the best and strongest hero(in the makings) alive comes to an end. What will await Clavius in his next adventure? Will he walk into the lever and fortuitously set it off again and fall to his death? Is he in front of a metaphorical wall or a real one?! Will he really find a river of acid and accidentally fall into it?! WILL HE EVER BE ABLE TO SEE AGAIN?! Find out in the next chapter of AEAC! Chapter 2 Waking up while sleeping less than an hour is bad. Welcome my dear fellows and thank you for picking up the adventure of our famous (not yet) hero Clavius! Last time Clavius hit a wall and that''s exactly where he will continue. Why was Clavius not able to see anything anyway? It can''t be that he forgot to open his eyes right? ...right? Clavius opens his eyes and is greeted with a dark cavern with small blue stones illuminating everything around him. While they don''t give off much light he is still able to see a little sign next to the lever. "Please pull lever after praying to our god H." Clavius looked confused with this message, maybe he didn''t know the language which was written on the sign, maybe he just didn''t care or he just wondered why a sign would be in a such a dark space. Clavius looked from side to side, only to see that he was in a little chamber with the lever and three corridors which went to the left further down, to the right and behind. The path behind Clavius was completely dark, not even the small glow of the mysterious stones could enlighten his path. Far to the end into the path, or maybe not far at all, Clavius was able to make out a small glowing dot. He felt drawn to the dot but maybe he shouldn''t walk there right away. Shush Clavius, walk back into the chamber and go to one of the other paths! Remembering how his first time doing something he didn''t think about ended, Clavius shuddered and turned to the left and slowly started following the path. The cave opened up into a large room without end while a violent glowing green river isolated Clavius from the other side of the room. Slowly turning back Clavius... Hey. I said. S-l-o-w-l-y turning back. That''s right, turn around. Don''t think about jumping into the river. After Clavius slowly turned around he went back to the third path he could chose from his starting point. Maybe Clavius was scared or just disgusted by the faint smell of feces and that''s why he left that place for last. The path was rather short, with small outcropings of stone to the sides and only lightly lit in a blue hue. Reaching the end of the path Clavius found himself in front of a door with bestial roars and bawls directly behind it. I think Clavius should turn around and think about all three options he could choose and maybe he would be able to find out where he was and most importantly. Stay alive. __________________________________________________ If you think waking up in a dark place without being even able to even move your body should suck, try having a wierd voice making a public show out of it. I mean who the hell is this? Who am I? Where am I? Why is everything dark and why can''t I move? The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Slightly panicking the voice filled me with warmth which allowed me to move my body, but not to open my eyes. Slightly feeling around i found something like a lever. I should rather leave it alone and try to find out my surroundings, but my body moved on it''s own and gripped and pushed and teared on the leaver till not only the lever gave in, but the complete floor disappeared under me. The wind whistled by my ears and i felt sharp pains wrecking my whole body convulsing and tearing itself apart. I wanted to scream but i was not allowed to open my mouth, no sound escaped me. After that i was in a dark space with nothing around me. My body was in no kind of pain and it was completely whole. My missing memory was still gone, but maybe i could fix that with time. What happened and why did I end up in such a devastating situation where someone just controls me to do things I don''t want to? What can I do to fight against it? Before I was able to finish my last thought i was brought back by the enthusiastic voice in my head, which allowed me to open my eyes while gloating over my stupidity of not thinking about it myself. Seriously? I find myself in a slightly blue tinged room with a sign right next to the lever. "You think you can be free? Not after everything you have done to me. H." Confused i looked at the sign while the voice scoffed in my head about me not even being able to read..sigh. Looking around the room i found three paths while only two of them were lit, one smelling worse than a sewage treatment plant. I turned to the path on my left, following it closely till I reached the end. I felt like i was isolated on a small island in an ocean, with nothing around me except water. The green water with pieces of red inside it flew violently from the right to the left. I felt shocked about the sight of so much blood and fleshly substance inside the murcky green water that i wasn''t even able to move. A sudden electric jolt woke me up from my stupor, the voice berating me again and telling me to turn around. Maybe i should try speaking? But who would listen to me? Who would even be able to do something about the situation I am in? Returning to the small chamber and being jolted so I would move into the direction of the last path I walked past some stones and stopped in front of a door. Behind the door the small aircurrent brought me fresh smell of feces and voracious sounds of slurping, breaking bones and gruesome sounds of a maniacal laughter. Skipping past bigger stones in my way I ran back to the chamber with the lever. i feel like I am fucked whichever way I go? What should I do? Intermission 1 The Origin Once upon a time there was a being which existed. Although it existed it had neither a body, nor a soul, nor feelings. It had no power to influence anything around it, watching daily as people grew up and perished. A vicious cycle which drew the being in. Every day the being felt power gather inside of itself while watching different interactions between different races of humans, beastman, demons, demihumans and monsters. It had bordering infinite knowledge about the world it watched. Sometimes there would join people into his world, people who didn''t belong into this world but still were there. He tried communicating many times while watching them grow up and perish at the end of their life, not much differentiated them from the normal people which lived in his world. After a few thousands of years the being gained sentience, abrubtly and without warning it just was. It was able to feel emotions for the first time, crying when the lifes on his planet perished, being joyful when new ones were born, laughing and fooling around with other beings, while still not able to communicate with them. Time and time again it tried to gather their attention without sucess. Steadily gaining power it tried to use it for the people it grew to love. He helped growing crops with his power, while it regenerated faster than it was used. Drought was fixed with a kind rain which filled everything around it with life. Harsh and cold winters were made mild with him blowing warm winds into the lands. Seemingly interested in the aspect people started believing in the being. The humans named the being ''Holy Protector''. He gained another title from the demons by the name of ''The Benelovent''. The beastman called him their ''Godfather'' while the demihumans had each their own name for him. Happy about the changes in the world and finally being able to help, the being approved of every single name it got called. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. The races worshipped their named god, but despised the other gods. Soon holy conquests and wars broke out while the being couldn''t do anything against it. Seeing his friends slaughter each other the being fell into despair, not being able to understand the pain it felt, it went into seclusion, away from all living beings. Years passed, wars unfolded, the continent was shaped anew by one superpower after the other. Everyone forgot the benelovence of their once kind god and turned in to their greed for might and power and fought each other. The being coming back from his enlightening experience saw the world being in chaos. Feeling rage for the first time the being used all his power and wiped out everything. Crying for thousands of years the being gained all his powers back and even much more. His tears shaped the world anew, his howls of anguish created harsh winds and different kind of climates. The world feed on his despair and build up by it. He felt he had complete control over ''nothing''. The ''nothing'' he created was his. He was able to shape it to his will and do everything he could think of, except new living sentient races. So the being lamented his rageinduced destruction and floated lifelessly around till it happened again. Sentient creatures with most different kinds of forms were brought into his newly built world, one by one they were brought there with a nearly infinite life. Feeling the need to correct his past mistakes the being took everything onto itself to make them able to feel at home in their new world, in his new world. He was able to talk with the other sentient creatures, so even though they had no memories when they joined into his world, the help of the being made them once again prosper and live their new lifes. Feedback on the story I got lots of feedback on my story already after only a few hours! Well, i realized that it''s pretty much really confusing. The sentences are not correctly built and too long. I set too many comma (well and sometimes they are even wrongly placed). I will read up and learn about some writing specific grammar and update the first three chapters before i continue on to more (i will continue on even with less people reading my story ._.). My will is unbroken and I''m still determined to share my story with the world. The ''narrator'' in this story is not a real narrator and he is not me, the author. He has his views on the world and we will see the story through his eyes and through the eyes of our MC. Support the creativity of authors by visiting Royal Road for this novel and more. The story I have in my head is a little more complicated than what I have shown and the interest in the story from chapter 1 won''t grab the attention of lots of readers (i think so at least, got told that too). I don''t want the reader to force himself to read through the story. I will try to better my writing and i will (hopefully) learn more and be able to write smoother. Ah and maybe, just maybe i''ll even develop my own writing stiyle! Thanks for reading so far, your very insecure newbieauthor Hima.
