Currently on top of an altar that lies upon a large mountain, there is a swirling deep violet hole that is radiating pure energy in the form of purple lighting. In front of the altar is an absolutely breathtaking young woman who appears to be 16 years of age. Whether it be her face or body, while still having some immaturity, were perfect. One could tell when she matures there will be many suitors for her. Currently, this woman is clinging on to the arm of a young man wearing a bird mask who has one leg within the hole.
It was this woman who had yelled in a crying voice with tears running down her face. A little farther away from the two people is a group of others numbering around 10. The man wipes the tears on the woman''s face and says.
"I have to, my mother and father are ill and they might pass away soon. I also can''t leave my siblings alone." (Man)
"Please, I beg you don''t go. It''s true that they are sick but they have your siblings, plus you said that your siblings are older than you, they can take care of themselves." (Women)
"Lillian''s right ¡®Kaiser'', please stay." (???)
One of the people within the group of people spoke and stepped up. He was a muscular man who looked to be around twenty years of age and had ten 6 inches(15 cm) horns protruding from his head resembling a crown.
"Amory(Ah-Mory) is right ¡®Kaiser'', you say you have family and sibling but didn''t you say that you also considered us your family." (???)
This time, it was another man, but unlike the man with horn called Amory, this one was slimmer and had an androgynous face with two large fairy wing on his back.
"Lord Jeroham(G-Row-Ham), I do consider you all family and you all are truly dear to me, but¡. " (Kaiser)
As he moved his gaze across all the people present he could see that some of the people he knew and truly cherished did not come and the people who did come all has tears in their eyes no matter their size or age.
".... I can''t abandon them just yet. I am sorry. I wish you will all allow me this selfishness." (Kaiser)
Upon saying that the man removed his mask and moved his head closer to the women clinging onto his arm. He then whispered in a sad voice which was full of regret while tears started streaming down his cheeks.
"I am truly sorry. Please tell the others that as well." (Kaiser)
After saying that he kissed the young women on the lips and gently pushed her away and even though it was gentle she was sent slowly flying through the air only to be caught by a middle-aged man standing within the group.
He then stepped through the swirling hole which closed behind him all while ignoring the screaming and pleading of the women named Lillian.
" Damn! Damn! DAMN!, I''ve messed up the coordinates at this rate I won''t be able to reach home." (Kaiser)
Currently, Kaiser was traveling through a long violet tunnel that gave off purple lighting. This was where the hole lead, which in truth was the entrance to an interdimensional tunnel.
"At this rate, I won''t be able to keep the tunnel open and I''ll be eradicated within this chaos." (Kaiser)

As he said that the dimensional tunnel started to destabilize.
"Damn, it''s too early what happened." (Kaiser)
As he had said that he started to hear cracking noises. However, even if the tunnel was destabilizing it was impossible for it to shatter. Then what was it?
[Crap my core!!!] (Kaiser]
As he said that he used his senses to check the status of his core and sure enough, there were cracks in it.
"That explains the destabilization, my core will shatter at this rate and I''ll perish." (Kaiser)
However before his core shattered the tunnel started to tear.

Right when he had thought, an explosion of energy happened within the tunnel and Kaiser, who was near it, lost conciseness.
"They''re late" (???)
A male spoke with annoyance in his voice. Possibly being annoyed by this the youth standing next to him replied in a slightly irritated voice.
"Oh stop complaining, we said to meet up at 3:00 in front of the main entrance of the school. It''s not even 2:45 yet." (Male 2)
Following up on this a girl spoke.
"Yea, and remember that they live farther away from the school than us so it will take them longer." (Girl)
"I know that but it''s the 20th and today was the last day of school and I don''t want to wait. Plus it is over 87¡ã F(30.56¡ã C), it''s damn hot!" (Male 1)
"Well if you take off that mask of your''s you won''t be as hot. Why are you even wearing that thing today anyway." (Male 2)
"Well, it''s because ¡" (Male 1)
"They''re here! Marccc! Elizabethhh!" (Girl)
The girl cut off the boy and yelled while pointing at a certain direction where two people were running towards them. A girl with black hair and blue eyes and a boy with blonde hair and green eyes. The two shared similar facial features showing that they were siblings, which they were for they were twins. As they were running towards the 3 the girl raised her arm and waved. She then yelled from a distance.
"Lyle, Salvador, Lee, sorry we''re late." (Elizabeth)
"Yea, you are la¡" (Lyle)
Cutting him off was the male youth standing next to him, Salvador.
"You''re not late, you''re actually early, Lyle, stop it." (Salvador)
"Chee, You''re no fun, Sal. Well anyway, Marc, Liza you guys have been making me wait in this hot weather for so long, how are you going to make up for it." (Lyle)
The blonde hair green eyed boy responded while rolling his eyes.
"Wait so long, haha, you probably been outside for less than 10 minutes. Also, who told you to wear a mask when it''s hot outside, take it off." (Marc)
"Wearing a mask does not make a person feel hot." (Lyle)
"It depends on the person." (Elizabeth)
While the group was having their senseless discussion lightning struck and thunder sounded. Hearing this the group looked up and saw swirling storm clouds forming.
"Was it supposed to rain today?" (Elizabeth)
"No, it wasn''t. Plus storm clouds don''t look so¡...unnatural." (Lyle)
"Should we cancel the outing and just head to my house." (Salvador)
To Salvador''s proposition, the other nodded and when they were about to head to his home when the ground shook violently.
"EARTHQUAKE!!!!!" (Marc)
"HOW!? THERE ARE NO FAULT LINES HERE!" (Lee)
"DOESN''T MATTER!!! FIND COVER!!" (Salvador)
However before any of them could move, the ground below them collapsed and the group of five fell into a newly formed sinkhole.
Chapter 1 : Waking Up (Revised)

"Nhng, what happened." (Lyle)
As he woke up Lyle suddenly felt an immense headache as if someone took his head and slammed it against the wall. As he tried to open his eyes a blinding light entered through his slightly open eyelids and he was forced to close them again.
This time, he slowly opened his eyes, learning from his last mistake, they slowly become accustomed to the light allowing him to see.
When he opened them and looked around, what he saw was dazzling. He was in a pure white room made out of stone the appeared to be giving off light. Near the wall, there were pillars, made of a slightly more grayish colored stone, it made a good contrast with the rest of the room. As he stood up he was able to notice that there was some type of mural on the ground. On the mural was a pure white owl like creature with three pairs of wings sprouting from the same spot on its back. It appeared to be radiating light like the sun and underneath that owl was a pair of white doves staring at each other.
While he was captivated by the mural he heard a noise and looked toward where it came from. There he saw his four friends lying on the ground seemingly unconscious. He moved towards the one closest to him and also the one who made the sound.
"Hey, Sal, wake up." (Lyle)
"Hnmmm, what happened, where are we!?" (Salvador)
As he was woken up by Lyle, Salvador got up and asked that with surprise after he noticed that they were in an unknown place. However, before Lyle could say anything, Marc and Elizabeth started to wake up.
After standing up and noticing that they were in an unknown place they started to panic a little. However, when the two noticed Salvador and Lyle standing slightly away from them the two moved in their direction.
"What is this place?" (Elizabeth)
"Hey, I''m just as confused as you all."(Lyle)
As Lyle and the twins were having a conversation Salvador moved toward where Lee was unconsciously laying.
As Salvador got closer to Lee he noticed that something was wrong with her. He ran up to her side and saw blood. He quickly turned her around and saw that she was bleeding from her head. He then screamed which attracted the other three that were standing not too far away.
When they looked towards the direction of the scream they saw Salvador crying while his hands were covering his head. Seeing this the three ran up to him and noticed what had happened to Lee.
"Liz!!! Help her she''s bleeding so much!!!" (Salvador)
He screamed at Elizabeth who was a first-year pre-med student. Seeing her wound Elizabeth moved towards the two and kneeled near Lee and examined the injury.
"It''s an open skull fracture, we have to get her to a hospital quickly otherwise, she''ll bleed out" (Liz)
When they head her panic emerged in Salvador and her starts crying and screaming in even greater amounts. Elizabeth and Marc try to calm him down unsuccessfully. Lyle then looks are the room and notices a large golden colored door. Upon it was an engraving of the same owl and doves that were on the ground. He then turned around towards the other four.
"CALM DOWN NOTHING WILL HAPPEN IF WE PANIC!!!" (Lyle)
Hearing Lyle who usually never raises his voice the other three were surprised and they became frozen. Seeing this Lyle continued.
"If we panic it will only waste time and her condition will only get worse. If we hurry, we can get her medical attention. Even if we can''t we can try to see if that there is anyone here who can help us, there''s a door over there so we can go through it." (Lyle)
"We don''t know where we are. What if that leads to nowhere. What if there are people but they''re not friendly?" (Elizabeth)

Hearing Lyle''s statement, the other three nodded and agreed. Then they stood up with Salvador carrying Lee in a princess style. The four then started running towards the door. When they were a little more than halfway towards it the door slammed open and a middle aged man walked in.
The middle-aged man started at us in surprise. He has golden blonde hair with multiple strands of gray and silver reaching his ears and his eyes were a light blue. His face was chiseled and he looked to be around 40 years of age. Overall one could say that he was very handsome.
The man was wearing a pure white robe with an insignia of an owl and doves over the heart that gave off a slightly golden light.
"Who are you all and how did you all get in here?" (Man)
As the man asked that a group of seven people came rushing. All of them wore the same white robe with a golden insignia, except their insignia did not give off light.
As the man started at them and moved his head across the group his gaze suddenly stops at Lyle for a moment but then he moved his gaze once again. Finally, it landed Lee who was in Salvador''s embrace. Possibly after noticing her injuries he moved towards Salvador who was carrying her.
"Hand her over to me. I''m a doctor and I can help her." (Man)
As he put out his arms to take Lee from Salvador''s embrace, Salvador moved back and embraced Lee closer to his body.
"How can we trust you, a complete stranger!? Where are we and who are you people!?" (Salvador)
"It''s all right, everything will be explained to you soon enough and we help in any way possible. However, at the moment your friend needs help and we''re the only ones who can help her." (Man)
Even when Salvador screamed at the man, the man remained calm and talked in a voice that seemed to magically sooth the person and lower anxiety.
While the man and Salvador were speaking Lyle looked around and noticed the faces of the group of seven behind the middle-aged man. He noticed that as the more Salvador screamed at the man the darker the faces of the group got., Lyle had a promotion that if this continued it would become truly dangerous, not just for Lee but also for them, so he spoke up.
"Sal, hurry up and give Lee to him. If he says he will help us and her, we should accept the assistance." (Lyle)
"What do you mean Lyle! We can''t trust them, what if they are just trying to trick us!" (Marc)
At Marc''s yelling, Lyle was not the one to respond but instead the middle-aged man.
"Do you have any other choice. You all are currently on our domain. If we wanted to harm you would I be speaking here with you all? With our numbers, we can easily overpower you." (Man)
"Also, if you continue to dilly dally your friend will be beyond saving, then what would you do. At the moment even if not completely, you all have to place your trust in us." (Man)
Hearing what the man said Salvador was still reluctant so Lyle had to give him one final push.
"Sal he''s right. At this rate, Lee will die. Even if it''s a little we have to place our trust in these people. Plus, they can just gang up on us like he said and we wouldn''t be able to resist." (Lyle)
Upon hearing his friends statement, even though reluctant, Salvador still handed Lee to the middle-aged man, who in turn placed her gently on the floor.
"Where are your medical tools?" (Elizabeth)
Seeing that the man laid Lee on the floor and had no equipment to treat Lee, Elizabeth became a little skeptical of him being a doctor.
"I don''t need any tools or equipment." (Man)
Hearing the man''s response, all four of the friends turned slightly pale and started to doubt the man and tried to stop him but when they say the spectacle that came next they were stunned and wide-eyed.
The man waved his hand through the air and a gentle blue light enveloped Lee''s head. When the light enveloped her wound one could see that it visibly started to close. When the fracture healed the man, possibly seeing that there was blood covering most of Lee''s face and hair, waved his hand through the air once more and this time a big ball of water with a diameter of two meters formed in the air and it slowly fell poured on Lee''s face washing away the blood.
After doing all this the man stood up and looked at the four whose mouth was agape and eyes wide. He smiled and spoke to them in a slightly excited tone.
"Greetings, other worlders, my name is Abednego, pope of the Church of Alva, goddess of light, I welcome you to the world of Alderaan." (Abednego)
Chapter 2 : War of the Races

Currently, within a room that seems to be used for reception are eight people. Sitting on a couch in the middle are the five youths. Sitting across from the youths is the Pope of Light Abednego. Standing behind the pope are two people from the group of seven earlier, one man and one woman.
After healing Lee, the pope had told the four to follow him. When they reluctantly followed they were lead to this room. When they entered, the pope whispered to two among the group of seven, the seven people turned out to be cardinals, and then those two plus three others left leaving only the last two to stay with the pope.
When we reached the room Lee woke up and when she noticed that she was being carried by Salvador in princess style she blushed up to her ears and it gave off the image that steam was coming off her head.
When she heard what had happened to her she became terrified. However, when Salvador told her what the pope had done for her she had profusely thanked him over and over again.
When they were all seated one of the cardinals, the man with a pair of two-inch horns protruding from his forehead and looked the same age as the pope, served tea, while the women, who had pointed ears and green hip length hair who looked to be in her late thirties, served snacks.
When everything was placed on the table the two cardinals once again moved back to the side of the pope, the man on the right and women on the left, and for some reason, they started at Lyle.
The pope picked his cup of tea and took a sip. When he noticed that none of the five teens moved the pope gestured to them showing that they can take some. Seeing that they were still reluctant to take anything the pope smiled and spoke.
"Don''t worry they''re not poisoned, after saying your friends what would be the point in harming you. Plus it tastes great, so don''t hesitate and try some." (Pope)
After saying that the pope went back to drink his tea. After some hesitation, the group decided to take the tea and snacks placed before them. When they took a sip of the tea a bitter flavor spread through their mouths. The bitter flavor complemented the sweet scent the tea gave off.
As they continued to drink and eat snack the pope started smiling and chuckled while looking at Lyle. Seeing the popes gaze land on him Lyle couldn''t help but be confused and ask nervously.
"What are you staring at?" (Lyle)
In response, the pope chuckled.
"It''s not much, just that it''s been awhile since I last saw someone eat and drink with a mask on."
After hearing that his mask was still on Lyle realized why both the pope and cardinals were staring at him. When he tried to remove the mask, no matter what he did it would not budge. Seeing that he was having trouble Marc and Salvador tried to help him remove it but instead of the mask coming off it felt like his face was about to tear off. Lyle quickly screamed.
"Stop, STOP, gahhhhhah, that hurt. Why''s it not coming off." (Lyle)
Seeing that the mask wasn''t coming off the other''s became confused. Seeing this as well the pope became curious and spoke up.
"Let me see it. I have seen a similar case in the past when someone was summoned with a mask and could not remove it." (Pope)
With what the pope said Lyle looked at him. When he looked the pope directly in the eyes he noticed that the pope''s iris''s turned golden. When one looked into them it gave them the feeling of insignificance and minisculality and their very being was being seen through.
When the other four looked into the pope''s eyes they also felt awe and at the same time some unknown fear.
After a few seconds went by of the pope looking at Lyle he once again leaned back in his chair and sighed. His eyes also returned to their original green color. He spoke.
"There seems to be some type of magic on the mask. It was probably placed when you all were summoned here." (Pope)
"To remove it we will need a certain device that is not in our possession at the moment. We will take you all to the place where the device is located a bit later." (Pope)
Seeing that the group had blank looks on their faces the pope became confused until Lee muttered ¡®magic?'' Upon hearing this the pope had a realization.
"That''s right, in your world, magic is not commonplace, in fact, it is extremely rare and unknown to the populace of your planet." (Pope)
"Well magic is what we call the ability to guide, altar, and bend the concepts of this world, or in some cases, depending on the magic, shatter them." (Pope)
Before the pope could continue with his explanation of magic Marc butt in
"Wait, your mentioning of magic reminded me, where are we and what happened?"
At what Marc said the pope made a complex face.
"Well as I said before you all are in the world of Alderaan and we are currently within the main headquarters of the Church of Alma. Alderaan is what people from your world would call a world of sword and magic, however unlike your concept of a world of sword and magic." (Pope)
"There are eight races in Alderaan spread out on the five continents, Una(U-Na), Igles(Ig-Les), Umbra(Um-Bra), Trea(Tre-A), and the one we''re currently on Adeeren(A-Dee-Ren)." (Pope)
"Each continent has various different Kingdoms and Empires except Una which has neither." (Pope)
When the pope had finished speaking the group of five felt mixed emotions for various different reasons and even though the pope seemed to have noticed that he didn''t comment on it which was most likely because he was being thoughtful towards them. He then continued.

"As for the reason you all are here, even I do not know." (Pope)
Hearing the pope say that the five became distraught and started to barrage him with various questions.
"What do you mean you don''t know!?" (Lee)
"Yea, we were ¡®summoned'' into your domain and you don''t know the reason why!?" (Elizabeth)
"If you don''t know ¡®exactly'' why then you must have some guesses, right?" (Salvador)
"It''s not some reason like saving humanity from the demon king is it?" (Marc)
Upon being barraged with their questions and having to deal with their attitude that was clearly disrespectful towards someone of his level, even though the two cardinal seemed to be greatly agitated by this show of disrespect, the pope stayed calm and replied.
"There is a demon emperor in this world but he is not evil, in fact, I rather consider him to be a big lovable buffoon, he is extremely doting towards his family and caring towards his friends. In fact, if it wasn''t for how reliable his wife and children are I believe the demon empire wouldn''t be as prosperous as today." (Pope)
Although the first part was said aloud and everyone heard what was said, when the pope mentioned the prosperity of the Demon Empire and the Demon Emperor''s lack of ability to govern his own empire it was only heard by the two cardinals behind the pope who made wry smiles and sighed as if remembering the demon king''s antics, especially Sparta who was of the lord race himself.
"In Alderaan, there is no ¡®evil'' race, there are only evil people." (Pope)
"However, there was the ¡®War of Races'' that happened ten years ago but it was quickly settled with the summoning of the hero ¡®Kaiser''." (Pope)
"¡®War of Races''? What''s that? And who''s this ¡®Hero Kaiser''?" (Lee)
"The ¡®War of Races'' started ten years ago. It was a war that engulfed the entire world that was started by the two twin sister goddesses Alma and Adreanna. In it, the world was split in two, the Demos and the Alliance. In this world, there is a total of eight races, which are Dragons, Dwarves, Lords, Beastmen, Elves, Fairy, Humans, and the Fallen. The Demos side consisted of the Dragons, Lords, and Dwarves while the Alliance consisted of Humans, Fairies, Beastmen, and Elves . In this war, most of the Fallen had taken a neutral standing. The hero defeated and befriended the strongest fighter and leader of the Demos and made the two sides, The Demos and The Alliance, enter peace. However, even if it was a war that split the world in half it didn''t matter for the war was only a game which the gods started, and since no one perished in it the participants never held animosity towards the gods for starting it." (Pope)
When the pope answered he was staring at the group of five the whole time and he noticed that the more he continued the more their faces started to light up excitement. When he saw that he became amused and decided to continue.
"The reason the war was started was because we, their followers had received an order that stated ¡®Thou shall all represent one of us in the upcoming war and fight for our victory. However, never fear for whoever shall participate in this war even in death shall not perish for we shall not allow it. Those who do perish, their souls will be sent to our domains where they will watch the remainder of the war and after a victor is decided, those who had perished shall be returned to their homeland unscathed and unharmed. In this war, the victorious side will be granted prosperity while the loser shall not gain a thing.''" (Pope)
"Since this was an order by the goddess and also since there was nothing to lose, only gain, what reason was there to refuse. However, because the Alliance still did not wish to lose they summoned the hero ¡®Kaiser'', or at least that is what he named himself as, to assist them. When the Demos side heard of the summoning of the hero they had used an ancient magic on their leader and strongest warrior, the Dragon Empress, who originally was already extremely powerful, to gain even more power and nearly ascend into godhood." (Pope)
"When the Alliance heard of the Demos side using the ancient magic they sent a proposition towards the Demos. The proposition stated that the hero and dragon empress fight representing their own sides and the victor of said fight would decide the victor of the war. When the Demos received this proposition they accepted." (Pope)
"After the proposition was accepted the battle happened on a secluded island off the coast of Una. The Dragon Empress and the Hero fought for seven days and night until the morning of the eighth day, when even with her boost in power, the Dragon Empress lost the battle." (Pope)
"Their fight was shown to the whole world. It was so immense and enthralling, as well as one of the most amazing things I have ever seen." (Pope)
The pope had said that with an excited tone while if one looked closely they would also notice that the two cardinals eyes showed the same feeling.
"How big was this fight truly?" (Marc)
"The fight was so grand that the island they fought on crumbled and sank to the bottom of the sea with no traces of it remaining. The world would have lost that island if the hero ¡®Kaiser'' had not felt bad and decided to fix the destruction their fight caused." (Pope)
Upon hearing this Elizabeth whose curiosity was peaked asked the pope.
"An island crumbled and sunk to the bottom of the sea with no traces remaining. How did he fix it!? Using magic?" (Elizabeth)
In response, the pope chuckled.
"Yes, he used a magic to restore the island but since it was no longer connected to the tectonic plates of the planet it would have sunk again if the Hero had not given it the ability to fly in the air. The method he used, I can not say." (Pope)
"He even built a magic academy on the island, that, with the help and backing of many powerful people and organizations, has now become the top magic academy in this world. Alas, that was nine years ago and the hero has now returned home." (Pope)
The last thing the pope said was with a look of nostalgia on his face and a mix of emotions within his eyes.
However, the group of five did not seem to notice this because.
"He returned home, wasn''t he summoned, though?" (Marc)
To Mark''s question, the pope smiled.
Chapter 3 : Ways to Return

As the pope looked at their expression showing expectation he smiled, but when he was about to open his mouth to speak, Sparda who moved next to him whispered something into his ear to which the pope nodded his head. He then looked at the group and said.
"That question of yours and any more will be answered on the way to the palace." (Pope)
After saying that the pope stood up. Seeing that the five were not getting up he looked at them.
Seeing his gaze Lee spoke with fear in her voice.
"We''re moving? To a palace?" (Lee)
It was not just Lee who showed fear but the other four as well.
When the pope looked at them, instead of laughing or mocking them, he said in an extremely gentle and caring voice, one a grandfather would use when calming their grandchild''s anxiety.
"Don''t worry, I know this is all strange and fearful to you but I will promise you, none of us will cause you all any harm. If you are not certain, then I will make an oath to my goddess that ¡®We Pope Abednego of the Alvaian Church promise that as long as you five are in my presence, you will learn as much as I can teach you about this world and that you shall not face any harm in my presence until you are able to stand upon your own two feet." (Pope)
Hearing the pope''s promise, even if a little, the fear on the groups face lessened. When the pope once again gestured for them to follow him they did so with the two cardinals following behind them.
As they walked through the halls that were big enough to let 10 people walk in a row through comfortably, they passed various people with different distinct features such as pointed ear, horns, animal ears in priest like attire with an insignia of the owl and doves of different color on the area of the heart. While the pope''s robe was pure white with a golden insignia that gave off a golden light and the seven cardinals had robes that were pure white in color and with a golden insignia that did not glow, the people walking around them wore pure white robes but the insignia was of different color. There was orange, sky blue, and light yellow. The light yellow was the most common place among the people that walked by them.
Noticing that the five teens were looking around Sparda spoke up.
"Is there something wrong?" (Sparda)
To his question, Lyle asked.
"Why are all these people wearing priest robes with different color insignia?" (Lyle)
To his question, it was not Sparda but Antonella who answered.
"The robes worn by the various people of the church represent their status within the church. As you see, pure white and a golden insignia with a golden glow represent the pope, while robes that are pure white and just a golden insignia represents our cardinals. The sky blue insignia represents the Archbishops, the orange insignia represents the bishops and the light yellow color represents presets. As they continued down the hallways the people of the church kept on staring at them, possibly because there was a group of teens wearing clothes they probably never seen before following the pope with two cardinals following behind them.
As they exited the long hallway the group entered a large dome shaped room. The room was massive with a mural painted on the roof. The mural was of an absolutely breathtaking woman with golden hair that went past her waist and golden eyes that seemed to have the ability to see through someone''s very being, similar to the eyes that the pope used to look at Lyle. She was wearing a long robe that covered her entire figure but one could still tell with the hazy outline that her figure could induce lust in every man and even most women.
Seeing the look of awe on the faces of the fives the pope chuckled and explained.
"That is out goddess Alma." (Pope)
After saying that the pope continued to walk and the others followed behind him.
When they passed through a large archway, they reached outside. There they saw a massive green space with trees and benches where people in priest getups were resting, it resembled a large park. As they went down the staircase they saw more people, however, these people looked to be the same age as the five teens and they wearing yellow robes. Seeing these people Lyle looked around and faced the two cardinals. However, they seemingly knew what he was going to ask so they answer in unison.
"The yellow robes are for the priest apprentices." (Sparda and Antonella)
As they reach the bottom of the staircase they noticed a large oval shaped object with what seemed to be windows on it . As they got closer, a hole appeared on the side of the object and stairs came out.

When he reached the beginning of the stairs the pope stopped and looked at the group following him.
"This is one of my personal airships. It can hold ten people comfortably and we will be using this to head to the capital of the human empire." (Pope)
After speaking the pope turned around once again and entered the airship with the others following behind him.
When they entered there were ten seats in which everyone sat down and the ship rose in the air with the sound of what seemed to be an engine. As the ship lifts off the people on the ground get smaller and smaller.
When the pope moved his gaze across the five he noticed that Elizabeth was shivering and Marc was trying to ease her.
"What''s wrong?" (Pope)
"She has a fear of heights." (Marc)
"Oh is that so, just tape the windows and they will go dark." (Pope)
Upon hearing what he said and seeing him give and example the group did that to all the windows on the airship and when he noticed that Elizabeth had calmed down he looked towards the five.
"Well now to answer your question on being able to return home." (Pope)
When the pope saw that he had the attention of all five of them he continued.
"There are three ways for you all to be sent home." (Pope)
"One method is if a god summoned you here. If you were summoned by one of the gods, you could ask one of the gods to send you back, however, if they were the ones to summon you, they would probably not comply with your request to be sent home." (Pope)
"Why is that!? They were the ones to summon us so they should send us back!? (Marc)
"Because if was most likely not a god who summoned you all here. There is currently no conflicts happening, what would be the need to summon you all." (Pope)
Hearing his sound reasoning Marc became quiet. Upon seeing this the pope continued.
"The second would be to use the interdimensional array in our possession to sent you back but that is impossible because it was what had brought you all here in the first place." (Pope)
"It brought us here, so it was your fault! Then why don''t you all take responsibility and sent us home." (Elizabeth)
Upon hearing her tone of voice the pope responded with a slightly cold voice.
"We are taking responsibility, why do you think, I a pope who leads billions of followers am personally assisting five teens, who most of which have yelled at me continuously." (Pope)
Hearing what the pope said the five looked down dejectedly with guilt ridden faces. Seeing their reactions the pope''s voice softened a little and he continued.
"The array had malfunction this morning and when I went to see what had happened I saw that you all were summoned. It requires ten years to gain enough power to be activated again. Plus on top of these ten years, we will also have to research what had made it malfunction for we are not aware of the reason why. We do not know how long that will take." (Pope)
"Is there not another array that can send us home." (Lyle)
"There is,however, I told one of the cardinals to contact the Church of Darknesses Pope and ask if their array could be used but the answer that was received was that their array this morning completely broke and all the power it possessed disappeared. In turn, it will take them longer than us to get it ready for activation since they will need to rebuild it." (Pope)
"What is the third method for returning home?" (Lee)
"The third is the most difficult and dangerous of all, it is also the method the Hero used in attempting to return home." (Pope)
"What do you mean attempt?" (Lyle)
"I say attempt because we do not know if he was able to successfully return home. As I have said this method is not only the most difficult but also the most dangerous, one mistake and the person using it would be dead or something worse than that." (Pope)
"The third method requires two things for it to be useable." (Pope)
"First, the user must know where the dimension they wish to travel is located." (Pope)
"Second, the user must possess an immense amount of power to connect the two dimensions. The hero was, like the Dragon Empress, also about to attain godhood so connecting dimension was possible for him." (Pope)
Upon hearing the ways home and also hearing that all of them were impossible to achieve at the moment or anytime within the near future the group of five became dejected.
Seemingly after contemplated over what the pope said Marc asked him a question.
"You said that the Hero and Dragon Empress were about to attain godhood. So does that mean that a mortal can become a god." (Marc)
"Yes, it is possible for a mortal to attain godhood, however, the explanation for it will take up time and since we are about to reach our destination I believe we should save it for later.'' (Pope)
Hearing the pope, the five became slightly confused until Lyle tapped one of the darkened windows and looked outside. What he saw was awe-inspiring.
There was a large city that was built in a circular format. It was divided into four parts, each separated by large walls. In the innermost part of the city was a large castle surrounded by a massive green space that looked to be a lawn. In the lawn were various pools of water of different shapes and sizes.
Seeing Lyle''s awe-filled face the others except Elizabeth looked out the window and all made the same face.
Seeing their reactions the pope beams amused and spoke with a smile on his face and amusement filled voice.
"Welcome to Asla(Us-La), the capital of the human empire Adeen(Ah-Deen) on the largest continent, Adeeren." (Pope)
Chapter 4 : The Talk

As the ship lands on a platform that''s made of stone within the green space surrounding the castle, the door opens and the stairs descend to the ground. The pope gets up and starts walking towards the door and gestures us to follow.
As they get off the ship they see two rows of people lined up that give off an aura of professionalism. The row to the left is made by women of varying races, however, the predominant was still human, wearing black dresses with white aprons on top that had frills on the edges. The row to the right consisted of men from varying race, humans were still the most prominent, who wore white shirts with black coats over them and black pants on the bottom. Since they were at a palace they were probably maids and butlers.
Standing in between these two rows at the front was a man with chestnut brown hair and the same chestnut colored eyes adorned with the same attire as the butlers, except, he was wearing a longer black coat than the other butlers.
"We welcome the Pope of Light, the two cardinals, and guests to the imperial castle in the capital of Adeen, Asla. My name is Ra and I am the head butler here." (Ra)
"I thank you for coming to greet us, I believe you already have been made aware of why we have come here today." (Pope)
"Yes I have, we are making preparations for the whole process, we just need the decision. Since all of this was so sudden, the empress is currently busy with matters of the state, she can not see you at the moment. If you all follow me, I will lead you to a waiting room." (Ra)
The pope nodded and then the butler named Ra started to lead the way and they followed while the other butlers and maids dispersed, most likely returning to their work.
As the group walked on a path they neared a circular pond. It had a diameter of around twenty meters. In the center of the pond, there was a pedestal surrounded by water jets shooting water in the air, most likely a fountain, and on the pedestal, there was a statue of a man holding a staff and wearing a robe that looked to be flowing in the wind. The man, or boy, it should be said, looked to be around 16 and was wearing a mask with two holes for eyes and a bird beak for a nose. The mask cut off below the nose leaving enough room for one to eat without needing to take it off. The statue was made of what appeared to be platinum.
"That statue is of the hero ¡®Kaiser'', it was created after he left and is one of the most cherished things within the imperial palace. It is made of a Mithril/Nohilum alloy called Nocline(Nock-line) that has a ratio of 10:1. It is one of the most durable and prized alloy in our world. Even though mithril is one of the more common super rare metals, Nohilum(No-He-Lum) is considered one of the most prized metals in this world and others." (Ra)
Looking at their faces that showed surprise, the pope smiled. However, he knew that the surprise was not because of what Ra had said but because the names of the two metals used to create the alloy were foreign to the. It gave them, even more proof that this wasn''t their home world anymore.
"That''s the hero ¡®Kaiser''. He was so young? Why did they make the statue with a mask on it?" (Elizabeth)
To Liz''s question, instead of Ra, it was the pope who replied.
"When the hero was summoned, he had that mask on. No matter where he went or who he meet, he never removed it, well more like it couldn''t be removed, much like that boy." (Pope)
After what the pope said, Lyle realized something.
["Shit, we never introduced ourselves to any of them. He introduced himself but we didn''t, crap.]" (Lyle)
Having that realization Lyle stopped in his track. Seeing him stop, as well as his slightly guilty face, the others stop and looked at him.
"Is something wrong." (Pope)
"Was my explanation inadequate?" (Ra)
"Lyle, what wrong?" (Marc)
"You need to use the bathroom or something." (Salvador)
"Umm¡, I need to go as well." (Lee)
While they stared at him and asked those questions, plus while hearing Lee''s whisper and Elizabeth nodding in agreement with a blush on her cheeks as if showing she also has to go, Lyle shook his head in denial.
"[Well I do have to go a little but that doesn''t matter at the moment.]" (Lyle)
"No, I just realized that we never introduced ourselves to you guys." (Lyle)
At his statement, the other four also realized this as well and made a troubled face. Lyle then looked at the pope who was standing next to Ra, and the cardinals who were at the pope''s side and said.
"Hello, my name Lyle Shah and I am 17, about to turn 18 years of age, you all can call me Lyle. Nice to meet you." (Lyle)
Following his example, the others followed.
"Hi, my name is Salvador Martinez, same as Lyle, I am also about to turn 18. You can call me either Sal or Salvador. This beautiful little lady here is named Lee Yang, she''s about to turn 17 in a month and she''s also my fiance. " (Salvador)
At Salvador''s intro of her, Lee blushed and shyly nodded.

At all of their introductions, the pope nodded while smiling. He didn''t seem to care that neither Liz or Marc gave their family name. He then said.
" Then let me also reintroduce myself. I am the pope of the Alvaian Church, Abednego Auditore. The one with the horns is Sparda Faelen of the Lord Race and the one with pointed ears is Antonella Carose of the elf race. It is nice to meet you all." (Pope)
To his introduction, the two cardinals just nodded.
"And I am the empress''s personal butler, as well as the head butler of the imperial palace, my full name is Ra-Sean Yukvil but please call me Ra, A pleasure to make your acquaintance." (Ra)
After they introduced themselves, they continue onward and entered the castle. They passed through the hallways that were decorated with many different ornaments and paintings of different people, places, and things, as well as paintings that seem to depict different battles. Then Ra suddenly stops in front of two doors that are 5 feet apart from each other with two different symbols on them, one for each door.
"Is this the waiting room?" (Elizabeth)
"No, these are the restrooms.The one on the right is for ladies and the one on the left is for gentlemen. " (Ra)
Ra said that in a completely calm and professional way. Elizabeth''s and Lee''s face turn bright red as Elizabeth grabbed Lee''s arm and pulled her into the restroom. Lyle, on the other hand, tried to calmly walk in, trying his best to hide his emotions.

They are currently seated in one of the reception rooms in the palace. Lyle is seated to the right of Marc and on his left is Elizabeth. On the love seat next to the couch, Lee and Salvador were seated. Across from the five in a single padded chair is the pope with the two cardinals slightly behind him, Sparda on his right and Antonella on his left.
Ra, after serving tea and snacks, left to see if the Empress was finished with her affairs and now available to come and meet them.
As they sat in the room enjoying the tea and snacks the pope motioned for the other servants in the room to leave. When they left he spoke.
"So how was traveling by airship for the first time. Did you enjoy the site of the capital? What about the fountain statue of the hero." (Pope)
"It was all amazing. Hard to believe, but .. still amazing." (Marc)
Seeing their faces filled with a variety of emotions plastered on them the pope sighed. He then put down his cup of tea and spoke with an extremely stern and serious face, one which he had not shown to them so far.
"I know this must all be hard to take in at once but what has happened is the truth and you all can''t deny that. While Ra is gone, I will say this to lighten the burden on you and the Empress for when you have your audience with her." (Pope)
"She will ask you what you wish to do for now on. You all were summoned here because of what I believe to be a malfunction in the interdimensional array. I have told you what the methods are to return home to your world and out of the three, none are possible at the moment. The array has no more magic power and it will not have enough for at least another ten years. On top of that, before we can allow it to gather power, we will have to see what went wrong with it for it to bring you all here. So there goes your first option" (Pope)
"Your second option is impossible for no god summoned you here so none of them will be willing to send you back." (Pope)
"As for you third and last option, that is also impossible for none of you have the strength or knowledge to open an interdimensional tunnel, on top of that, I have enough confidence to say that, even if you did none of you know where your home world is located." (Pope)
Everything the pope said was the truth and it hit the five deeply. He even gave such valid reasons that it all made sense but Lyle was sure the others still didn''t wish to give up.
"What you said all makes sense and I can''t refute that. However, is it not possible to fix and gather power for the array earlier than ten years." (Sal)
"It is possible to fix the array and gather the power necessary for it to work earlier than ten years, however, to do that the sacrifices will be too large and even if we are willing to take responsibility for you all, those sacrifices are not ones the people of this world, or even the gods, would make." (Pope)
"As for other array in the possession of the Church of Darkness, it had completely broke and the time required to get it to function will definitely be more than ten years.." (Pope)
When the pope finished talking, there was silence in the room. The one to break it with sobbings sounds and a shaky voice was Lee.
"So are you *hic* saying *hic* ,saying that we *sob* can''t *hic* return home." (Lee)
Seeing her tear up the pope''s face visibly softened.
"No child, you can still return home, however, it will take over ten years, ten years for the arrays power to charge and an unknown amount of time for us to research the malfunction and fix the problem. In total, even I do not know how long it will take" (Pope)
With what the pope said, gloom covered the faces of the five teens. What he said made sense and we couldn''t deny that. However, seeing their faces, the pope did not stop talking and continued.
"Ten years is a long time for you all who are only in their late teens. Because of this, I want you to listen closely to what I am about to say next." (Pope)
When he saw that he had their attention the pope said this.
"Stay here. Stay here with us in our world of Alderaan. Live your life here and grow old with the residents of this world." (Pope)
Chapter 5 : Discussions

Lyle is currently within a guest bedroom in the imperial palace. There is a large king sized bed situated against the wall that is left of the door. In front of the bed is an empty chest and across from the chest is a wooden dresser with a mirror attached. We were all lead to five different rooms that are next to each other. The pope, however, was lead to another room that''s away from ours.
Currently, there is a full moon in the night sky surrounded by countless stars. It makes him realize this isn''t his home world for the moon is blue. However, he can''t appreciate the scenery for the discussion he and his friends had with the pope is still going through his mind.
After the pope said to them that they can reside in this world with all of the residents of the world, everyone became quiet and start to contemplate over it. After a few minutes passed, Marc was the one to speak up.
"You say we can reside in this world. Then can I ask a few questions?" (Marc)
"Don''t hold back, ask as many as you want." (Pope)
"Ok. First, you said there are eight races in this world and there are five continents. I would like to ask how many different kingdoms or empires are there within this world, to which races do they belong to, and if currently there are any wars that are happening." (Marc)
"There are six different countries and empires within this world. There is the human empire Adeen that we are currently in. The kingdom of the Elves and Fairies is called Yesur(Yes-Sir) and the Collation of Beastmen is called Azamat(As-A-Moth). Both of these are located on the Trea continent. There is the empire of the Lord''s Aminta(Ah-Min-Ta) that controls the whole continent of Umbra. The dwarfs have a kingdom called Arseno(Are-Sen-Oh) on the continent of Igles. The dragons don''t have a kingdom or empire but they do have a clan and govern a large city which is also on Igles. This might be confusing for their leader is called an empress. Lastly, the Fallen don''t have any such thing for there are less than five hundred of them in the whole world and they usually chose to stay alone or in small family groups of two to five. The majority reside on Una, but there are those that reside on other continents." (Pope)
After hearing the pope''s answer Marc seemed to contemplate something and then asked another question.
"In this world, is there slavery." (Marc)
"Slavery was prominent thousand of years ago however today it is outlawed in mostly all kingdoms and empires except Arseno. However, even if it is allowed there, strict law are in place regarding the treatment of slaves." (Pope)
Upon hearing the pope''s reply Marc was about to open his mouth to ask something else but the pope stopped him.
"Before you ask! There is racism but that is prominent in every world no matter where you go! However, discrimination is frowned upon. We have no problems with the Lords or any other races and no, the Lord''s are not evil, neither are the dragons or beast men or elves or any of the other races! Even if there is a church for the goddess of darkness, we are not enemies with them. In fact, I consider the pope of the Church of Adreanna part of my family. If you are still not convinced, Sparda here is of the Lord race yet he is a cardinal of the Church of Alma!" (Pope)
Upon the pope''s outburst, all five of them had blank looks on their faces. Sparda nodded his head seemingly in confirmation to the pope''s statement and Antonella just sighed. Seeing the look on the fives faces the pope let out a dry laugh and spoke with an apologetic look on his face.
"I apologize for my earlier outburst. You are not the first to ask the question about slavery. Also, whoever usually asks that question asks about racism next and when they hear an answer, they all have different reactions and many can get extremely annoying and I wished to avoid that. I apologize once again." (Pope)
Before they could say anything there was a knock on the door and Ra entered.
"I apologize for the intrusion while you all were having your discussion. I came to inform you that the empress will not be able to meet you until tomorrow for she is still busy. She has apologized for the inconvenience. She has ordered me to escort you all to the guest bedrooms where you may rest for the night. Now then, I will be waiting outside this door so when you finish your discussions please notify me." (Ra)
When Ra finished speaking and was about to exit the pope stood up.
"No need for you to wait, the discussions have just finished so please lead the way towards the rooms." (Pope)
To the pope''s statement, Ra nodded and led the group to all their rooms. Ra left them after saying a servant will bring dinner to their rooms.
After contemplating over what the pope said for an hour Lyle decided that he should talk to the others about this.
He left his room and walked to Salvador''s room which was to the right of his. After he knocked a few time, seconds later Salvador opened the door.
"What''s wrong?" (Sal)
"I wanna talk about what the pope said." (Lyle)
"Alright" (Sal)
As he gave his confirmation, the two of them walked towards the others room and got them. Then they all came together in Marc''s room.
"So what you wanna discuss about?" (Marc)
"You''re not an idiot, I know you know what I wanna discuss." (Lyle)
After his comment, a serious atmosphere enveloped the room.
"What do you all think we should do." (Liz)
"I think that we should take up the offer." (Sal)
"You say it like we have a choice. We can''t return by ourselves." (Lee)
While those three were talking, Lyle cut in.
"It is true that we don''t have a choice but to stay, but¡" (Lyle)
After some hesitation, he continued.
"Even if they fix the so-called array, I think I will stay in this world." (Lyle)
After I said that, the others had looks on their faces like I had just killed their parents.
"What! Are you ok! Why would you want to stay when we can return home! You have family there!" (Marc)
"Yea and you''ll also be going to college next year." (Liz)
"I know that but if you think about it even a little bit you would make the same decision that I did!!!" (Lyle)
At Lyle''s outburst, the room once again became quiet. After he took a breath to calm himself down, Lyle continued.
"Our only option to return is the array. It will take ten years for the array to gather enough power to function. On top of that the time required to fix it is unknown. We will be spending ten plus years of our life in this world. We will probably become accustomed to this world and it''s customs, culture, etc., within that time period, enough that we won''t miss home all that much. Also, I''m not sure if you remember but when the earthquake hit, the ground beneath us collapsed. I remember us falling before I blacked out. If you think about it, if a human fell down that hole, what are the likelihood that they will survive. They probably think we''re all dead and are having our funerals." (Lyle)
"Also here we have a pope, probably one of the most influential people in the world, willing to take responsibility and help us. Also tomorrow we''re meeting an empress. It''s like starting a new life on easy." (Lyle)
"Plus, this is a new world and I wanna explore it and experience everything we can." (Lyle)
The next thing Lyle said was with great amount of excitement.
"Plus Magic! I always loved fantasy stuff and magic is the king of all fantasy stuff. It can bend the laws of the world. That''s so amazing! Plus, it seems one can become a god in this world. Who doesn''t want to do that!" (Lyle)
At his statement, the others did not say a word for and contemplated what their friends had said. Seeing that they were staying quiet Lyle ask.
"So, what will you guys chose?" (Lyle)

In the room was a large desk. The desk was stacked with various papers. There were also bookshelves that were packed with different types of books varying from those of politics to magic to personal diaries and biographies.
Sitting behind the desk was an absolutely breathtaking woman that looked to be around 20 years of age. She had hair the color of silver and light pink lips. Her facial features looked very dignified. But the most prominent feature was still her heterochromic eyes, the right was violet while the left was red. Even though her face showed a tired look, it still didn''t hide her beauty. She probably had many suitors asking for her hand.
Standing next to her was a man with chestnut brown hair and the same colored eyes, Ra. Sitting across from the woman on three chairs was the pope and the two cardinals.
"How have you been Empress Lillian." (Pope)
"Please stop that grandpa Abed. I and Lucy are like sister and you also consider me family. Do not use formalities and titles when you speak with me." (Lillian)
This was said by the woman, no, Empress Lilian with a face that looked tired.
"Hehe, fine, fine. You look tired, what can''t handle being empress." (Pope)
" *sigh* I don''t like it one bit. All the paperwork, the meetings, and all those stupid Nobel''s that do nothing but lie and think of themselves. Now I know why ¡®Kaiser'' said he didn''t like politics. I miss the time when me, him, Ra, and the others adventured together." (Lillian)
"Yes, but ¡®Kaiser'' disliked politics because many of the people at the time that were involved only thought of their own greed instead of others well being like they were supposed to. (Pope)
" Also, he hated those people, not politics itself, he was actually a little interested in politics." (Pope)
"*sigh* I know that." (Lillian)
The empress looked down and with a sigh responded. Her beautiful eyes showed nostalgia and longing while her face showed an extremely sad expression. After a few breaths of time had passed, she looked up at the pope with a serious expression.
"So what happened, why were they brought to Alderaan?" (Lillian)
With the empresses question, the pope got rid of the smile on his face and spoke with seriousness.
"It was Alma who summoned them, with the assistance of Adreanna. The reason for it, Alma did not tell me, but I believe it has to do with the problem of the Fallen." (Pope)
If Lyle and the others were present, they would realize that the pope lied to them about not knowing how they came to this world or why they were here. Also, if any of the goddess of light believers other than the five in the room were present they would be dumbstruck that the pope mentioned the name of the two sister goddess in a way that showed no reverence for them. However, for the four in the room, this was a common occurrence with the pope when he was in private or with someone close to him.
"I see. Then how would you evaluate the five? Will they be able to assist us?" (Lillian)
This time, it was not the pope but a cardinal, Sparta, who spoke.
"Annoying. They''re kids who don''t understand anything about respect. If it wasn''t because we needed them I would have punished them severely.." (Sparta)
To his words, Antonella nodded in agreement.
"We need to teach them a lot, mainly to respect their elders. I will probably have to give them a strict education." (Antonella)
To Antonella''s statement, the empress and Ra both gave a wry smile and their backs got covered with cold sweet, seemingly remembering some unpleasant things.
"They were forcibly brought to another world. Plus they are a bunch of kids from a safe world. If I was in their shoes I would probably behave the same." (Pope)
"No, you wouldn''t." (Antonella)
"She''s right, you wouldn''t." (Sparda)
"How would you know, you all weren''t even born during my teenage days." (Pope)
To the pope''s reply, they couldn''t say anything for they knew it was true.
"It wasn''t just them who wasn''t born, it was mostly everything in this world. Please don''t compare the amount of time you lived with ours." (Lillian)
"Lillian is right. As one of the first creatures to be born in this world, you''re around the same age as the two sister goddess. Heck, I even heard stories from the pope of darkness of the when the two goddesses were still mortal and the four of you journeyed together through the higher worlds and realms." (Sparda)
What Sparda said was true. The pope of light and the pope of darkness were two of the first creature to be born in the world of Alderaan. The two sister goddess, Alma and Adreanna were also creatures that were born at the beginning of the world, however, the two sister goddesses are younger than the two heads of their church by an unknown amount of time because at the beginning of the world there was no way to measure time.
"Your holiness, you never told us and I am also curious, why have you and the pope of darkness not taken the final ascendance and become true gods but instead decided to serve the goddesses even though you yourself are a god. (Ra)
With Ra''s question, one could notice that it was not only him who was curious but the empresses as well.
"It''s very simple. If I was to accept the final divinity, I would have to leave my wife and granddaughter and I do not wish to do that. While my granddaughter is still young and does not care whether I leave or not, my wife is different. She has almost reached the same realm as me and when she reaches it we will become true gods together." (Pope)
When the pope spoke of his granddaughter and wife, his face showed that he cherished them both greatly. He then continued with a voice filled with irritation and announce, different from when he spoke of his family.
"If it wasn''t for this, do you think I would be the pope of another god''s church. Ha! If Alma didn''t beg me and even got my wife to ask me to become her pope I wouldn''t have done it. What''s more, Adreanna had the guts to do the same thing to her pope, except, she agreed willingly." (Pope)
Seeing the pope getting annoyed at their goddess, the two cardinals made a wry smile. And seeing that the pope was about to turn their conversation into one of his rant fests Lillian decided to change the topic.
"I think we strayed enough so let''s get back to it. How would you evaluate the group of five." (Lillian)
Hearing Lillian''s question the pope responded.
"They will need a lot of work. Each one of them can be considered crude." (Pope)
"The girl Lee has a weak mind and body. She was extremely sick." (Pope)
"The boy Salvador is also has a weak mind. He also cares for Lee too much, he is too protective even if he does his best not to show that. I can understand that it''s because of her love for her and probably because she was sick." (Pope)
At the pope''s last comment Lillian raised an eyebrow.
" ¡®Was''?" (Lillian)
"Yes, when she got here she had gotten an injury on her head. When I healed her, I detected the illness and got rid of it as well. They might get suspicious of that so you will have to think of an excuse for it other than saying that I cure it." (Pope)
At the pope''s confession, Lillian nodded in acceptance and the gestured for the pope to continue with his evaluations.
"The two twins, Marc and Elizabeth..." (Pope)
The pope''s face got slightly darker as he stopped seemingly trying to find the words. He then said.
"... we must further observe them." (Pope)
"Why? (Lillian)
"They have killed before." (Pope)
At the pope''s remark Lillian understood.
"Killing is forbidden in their world. To have killed means that they have broken their worlds law. The reason why they did it, I do not know, only they would." (Pope)
"Understood. Ra." (Lillian)
"I will take care of it, your majesty." (Ra)
After hearing Ra''s agreement, Lillian looked at the pope.
"And what about the boy with the mask?"
Upon hearing Lillian''s question, the pope had a serious look on his face, however, no one noticed the mischievous look in his eye. He then spoke.
"He is ¡.. special." (Pope)
"¡®Special''? How?" (Lillian)
Upon hearing Lillian the pope''s face revealed a smirk but he did not say anything. Seeing this, not only Lilian, even Ra and the two cardinals became curious about the boy with the mask.
Chapter 6 : Meeting the Empress - Part 1
¡° ¡° (name) is normal conversation.

As the rays of the morning sun enter the room they landed on the side of the king sized bed. On the bed, Lyle was sleeping very comfortably. However, a knock on the door woke him up.
As he sat up on the bed with his bed hair ablaze a voice came through the door.
"Sir Lyle, it is morning and time for breakfast." (???)
After hearing the voice Lyle concluded that it was a woman, most likely a maid.
He had been informed by Ra yesterday that there would be a servant who would be coming to bring breakfast for them in the morning and all they had to do was give them permission to enter the room.
"Come in." (Lyle)
Hearing his reply, a middle-aged woman wearing a black dress and white frilly apron walked in carrying a tray of food with meats, eggs, some white bread, plus a cup of water and the juice of some fruit.
Upon entering the maid walked towards the bed and laid the food on a table next to it.
After laying the food down and turning towards Lyle she said with a bow.
"The washrooms are connected to the guest rooms and you can wash in there. I have been told to inform you that your group''s meeting with the empress will be in an hours time. There will be other servants to come lead you to the location ten minutes before the audience along with your companions and his holiness." (Maid)
After saying that the maid turned around and left the room. Not once did she comment on Lyle''s bed hair.
After getting out of bed and entering the washroom to clean himself and deal with his bed hair Lyle went back to the bed and ate the breakfast.
The meat tasted like chicken and the eggs had a slight gamey taste to them. The bread was normal white bread and the fruit juice had a sweet citrus taste to it.
After washing up and finishing breakfast there was a knock on the door.
"Sir Lyle, I have come to pick you up." (Ra)
The voice on the other side of the door was Ra''s. Hearing it Lyle got up and went to the door. When he opened it he saw Ra with the other four behind him.
"I have been given the duty to come fetch you all and lead you to the audience area. Now if you all follow me, I will lead you to the empress." (Ra)
As Ra started to lead the way the other five followed behind him. Today they took a different path than the one they took yesterday. This one lead them through a small garden area where there were many trees to provide shade and a small pond with various different species of fish swimming about.
As they went past the garden Elizabeth asked Ra.
"Where are the pope and the cardinals?" (Elizabeth)
"His holiness and the cardinals are already waiting for you all with the Empress." (Ra)
After hearing that the pope was already waiting for them there, Elizabeth nodded and they all continued walking.
All of a sudden, Ra stopped in his tracks and turned around to face the five with a serious expression and weird atmosphere.
Seeing his change in behavior and a weird pressure that made it difficult for them to breath, the others slightly panicked and backed away from him with pale faces filled with fear.
"Wha, what are you, you, you do, doing?" (Marc)
Getting the courage to ask him that, Marc spoke with a fearful voice, however, to that, Ra only replied in a cold voice that made the five feel that their blood was freezing.
"I will warn you now. The person you all are about to meet is the ruler of an empire. She does not only have beauty and brains, she is also very powerful, both her personal strength and her influence." (Ra)
"You might not be aware but I had heard the conversation you all had with the pope. He is one of the strongest and most knowledgeable people you will ever meet and the way you all spoke to him did not show any signs of respect." (Ra)
"I am not aware of how it is in your world, however, in Alderaan, we show respect to those who are above us in status." (Ra)
"That behavior might be tolerated by the person in question, however, if you all show disrespect towards the empress, mercy will not be shown to you all just because you are young." (Ra)
Hearing his cold words Lee spoke with a fear-ridden voice.
"We, are sorry that, we did not show, any, any respect to the pope, but in our defense¡" (Lee)
"Your defense! What defense! Do they not have an education system in your world. You all are adults yet you so easily lose you barring. Even if there is no education, do the adults in your life not teach you all manners." (Ra)
As Ra cut into what Lee was saying, she jumped back with a fright and hid behind Salvador. He, on the other stepped in front of Lee in a defensive posture.
"There is education in our world and we do know how to respect our elders. However, the circumstances were special." (Salvador)
"Special! I am aware of how special they are! However, a bunch of people all around the age of eighteen losing their thinking ability and acting like children! In my opinion, people such as you do not even deserve our help and should be left to fend for yourselves." (Ra)
"Now then, I will inform you that if you show disrespect towards the empress, there will be consequences." (Ra)
After saying all that, the strange pressure that had surrounded Ra disappeared and the cold expression on his face returned to his usual businesslike smile. He then continued.
"Now then that is cleared up, will you all please follow me and I will lead you to the location where the empress and the pope are waiting. (Ra)
After saying that, Ra turned around and started walking once again like the outburst a moment ago had not happened. However, the five behind him still could not find the courage to move. Seeing that the five were not following him Ra said.
"Hurry up please, we can not keep them waiting. If you all do not follow, you will be left behind." (Ra)

After saying that, he once again continued walking. Seeing his silhouette grow smaller and smaller the other five finally snapped out of it and even when they were reluctant, followed him.
The remainder of the walk towards the audience room was only filled with dreadful silence and the sound of footsteps.
As they reached near a wooden door that had various intricate designs, Ra stopped and knocked. When he heard an ¡®enter'', he opened the door.
With him leading the way the other five entered the room. When they entered they noticed that the audience room was not in a throne room like some of them pictured, but was instead within a study.
As they all entered the room, the door behind them closed. When the five looked around the first person they saw was the pope who was seated on a chair with the two cardinals behind him. In front of him was a table with tea placed on it.
Seated across from the pope was a woman whose beauty took the breath of the five teens away. It was so great that the woman also enchanted Lee and Elizabeth who were of the same gender as her.
When she noticed that new people had walked in, she moved her gaze away from the pope and looked at them
She then made an enchanting smile and spoke.
"Welcome, children from another world. I am Lillian, the ruler of the empire of Adeen." (Lillian)
Lillian greeted the all with a smile but she noticed that their faces were slightly pale when they walked in and were looking at Ra who was now standing next to her with fear in their eyes. It was not only her who noticed this but the pope and cardinals as well.
Seeing this, they realized something must have happened but did not comment on it. Instead, the empress spoke.
"I have been told by the pope that you all have been informed of the circumstances that have brought you all here and you have also been informed of what methods are available to return home. You should also know that are these methods are currently impossible to use." (Lillian)
"So I will ask you, what is your decision. Will you chose to stay with us in Alderaan or ..?" (Lillian)
Upon hearing Lillian''s inquiry, Lyle was the one to speak up.
"We have decided your imperial majesty. We five wish to stay and live within the world of Alderaan." (Lyle)
Upon seeing that the one to speak was Lyle, the empress got intrigued by him for, like the hero, he was also summoned with a mask. Plus she also was reminded of the pope''s evaluation of him being ''special''. However, no matter how she looked at him, he only looked like a normal youth.
Hearing the decision that they made, the pope smiled and laughed.
"Good, good. Now that you all have decided to stay we can start making preparations." (Pope)
"May I ask, what sort of preparations, your holiness." (Marc)
One could see that with the way they now spoke and their behavior, what Ra had said truly frightened them.
Seeing their change in behavior so openly, both the pope and empress laughed.
Seeing them laugh, the five became confused.
"May I ask what is so funny?" (Salvador)
"Hehehehe, it''s not much, just that it looks like Ra gave you guys a fierce scolding." (Pope)
"You should thank him, he helped you a lot." (Lillian)
Hearing what the pope and empress said, the five had a puzzled look on their face. At that moment they all probably thought the same thing.
[Why should we thank him for scolding us!?] (The five)
Seeing their puzzled looks, it was Ra who answered.
"Remember when I said that if you did not show respect that you would face consequences. Well, those consequences would be in the form of Lady Antonella''s teaching and that, I can promise you is the last thing you wish to experience." (Ra)
"Hmm, what do you mean that''s the last things they wish to experience?" (Antonella)
Seeing that Antonella glared at him, Ra shivered and cold sweat started cover both his back and face. Only know did he realize his mistake.
Seeing this the five teens realized that what Ra did was somehow for their own benefit and they no longer held him in as much contempt as they did after his scolding. However, Salvador was still mad at him, for he scared his beloved Lee.
"Well, that doesn''t matter all that much. Now that you all have decided to stay we can prepare for the ceremony." (Lillian)
"Ceremony, what ceremony?" (Elizabeth)
Upon hearing those words, the five became curious because they were not told anything about a ceremony.
Seeing this the pope explained.
"The ceremony is what all summoned people must do in order for them to be fully recognized by the world. It will allow you to learn magic." (Pope)
"Plus, the magic device needed to remove Lyle''s mask is the one used in the ceremony." (Pope)
"Yes, however, the device needed is currently not within the empire and is currently in the possession of another, but do not fret for the one who are in possession of it have been informed and they will bring it to the palace within a month''s time." (Lillian)
"Until then, we will be teaching you all the basics of magic as well as the culture and language of this world." (Pope)
"Yes and on top of that, I will also be giving you five my lessons. Also, Ra will be graciously joining us." (Antonella)
Upon hearing what Antonella said, Ra face turned pale and if one looked closely, they could notice that when Antonella had said that, he staggered and nearly fell.
"But, I serve the Empress and can not leave my duty." (Ra)
"Ah, you right, you can''t leave your duty." (Antonella)
Hearing this, Ra let out a breath of relief, but what Antonella said next not only made all the color on his and Lillian''s face disappear.
"Lillian can join you within my lectures. I believe that I should check if she has not forgotten anything from my lectures." (Antonella)
Hearing this, Ra truly fainted and collapsed on the ground and the empress, after giving him a death glare followed suit.
"Tch, tch, tch, to be an empress and servant of said empress but faint so easily, truly in need of more lessons." (Antonella)
Upon seeing the two of them faint, the five teens turned pale and imagined what kind of lessons Antonella would give them. They looked at the pope for some possible salvation only to see that he was awkwardly looking away. And when their eyes did meet, his eyes seemed to say ¡®I wish you luck on your future endeavors'' and then he moved his gaze away from them once again.
Seeing this, the five nearly teared up. Especially when Antonella turned her gaze towards them that seemed to say ¡®I''ll be sure to reform you all well''. At that gaze, the Lee and Salvador followed suit to the two before them and lost consciousness, while Lyle, Marc, and Elizabeth greatly trembled at her gaze.
Chapter 7 : Meeting the Empress - Part 2
After meeting with the empress, the five were lead by Ra to the library. However, all of them had pale faces for there was a person following behind them, Antonella, who was mumbling while looking down. Some of the things they heard were ¡®how much should I teach in a day, 3 or 4 books worth of material'' and other stuff like ¡®what punishment should I do, have them clean the Roc mud pits or hand feeding the Lizaans.
Upon hearing the punishments that Antonella would give, even though the five did not know what a Roc mud pit was or what a Lizaan was, they were able to tell with Ra''s reaction, that it was nothing good for his face lost all color and he staggered.
They stayed in the library for around three hours listening to Antonella''s lecture. It was about how magic can alter and change the concepts of the world.
"In this world, no one is born a magician, however, they are born with mana within their bodies. For one to become a magician, they must take the mana present within their bodies and bring it together and form it into a what is a known as a ¡®mana core'' in the area underneath the heart. Those whose cores are developing are called beginners. Those who have developed a ¡®mana core'' are now able to use elementary level magic and these people are called apprentices and their mana cores are the size of a thumb and black in color, which represents it is full of impurities. These magic apprentices are now also able to sense the mana that is present within the atmosphere and utilize it to use magic. For one to grow as a magician, they must take in the mana from the atmosphere and use it to make their mana core grow in size. They must also use this mana to purify their mana cores." (Antonella)
"As one progresses down the path of a magician, their mana core grows in size and its color becomes lighter and lighter. After one''s mana core has a radius of 1 inch they become know as mages. After a ¡®Mage'' is a ¡®Magi'' and their mana core has a radius of 1.5 inches. The size of a mana core represents the stage they are at, while the color represents the purity of the mana in their body and how strong their spells will be." (Antonella)
"Each stage has three levels. For example, there are low magi, magi, and high magi." (Antonella)
"The purity of a mana core goes from the most impure, jet black representing a low apprentice, coal representing an apprentice, and light black representing high apprentice. For a mage, it is blood red, red, and red-orange. For magi, it is orange, light orange, and yellow-orange." (Antonella)
(A.N. I know there''s not much difference in color but I couldn''t think of anything better, even after searching in google. Just know the color gets littler and one progresses down the path of magic.)
"After one reaches the magi level, their mana core stops growing in size, however, its density increases. The density and size only represent how much magic one can use. After the Magi level is a ¡®Grand'' magician and after ¡®Grand'' magician is an ¡®Arc'' Magician.
A ¡®grand'' magician''s mana core is yellow, pale yellow, and then an off white. Also, when one reaches the ¡®Grand'' level, 3 transparent colored halos appear behind their back. For when one reaches the ¡®Arc'' level, along with the halos, 3 pairs of colored transparent wings form. These halos and wings are gifts to the magician from the world for their accomplishment in the ways of magic." (Antonella)
Upon hearing her lecture, Marc raised his hand and asked.
"A few questions. First, you said that the wings and halos have color, what does the color represent? Second, can one hide their wings and halos or are they always visible? Third, what if one does not want to be a magician? Lastly, why does the world bestow wings and halos as gifts?" (Marc)
"Good questions. I''ll answer the second and third ones first." (Antonella)
"First, yes, a magician can make the wings and halos disappear, they just have to will it. Now then the other question. Magic is divided into three categories that are represented by the colors black, white, and gray. Black magic is magic that can control fire, water, air, etc., mainly, it is magic that causes destruction. White magic is magic that is used for healing, purifying, buffs, etc., magic that can be considered as support, however, white magic does have magic that can be used for attacking and black magic also has magic that can support, just not as much as the other. Lastly, gray magic is a bit special. It can be considered the strongest for it is magic that uses the laws of the universe. The magics that fall under gray are space, time, life magic, etc., magics such as those. The wings and halos that appear are usually black, white, or gray and represent which path the magician takes." (Antonella)
"The wings and halos also can limit that amount of magic useable or boost magic, this, however, depends on the possessor of the halo and wings." (Antonella)
"As for the other two questions, let''s answer the one about what if one does not want to be a magician first." (Antonella)
"If one does not wish to become a magician, they can become a warrior instead. However, the path of a warrior is different than that of a magician. A warrior must first form a mana core and become a magic apprentice. However, they mainly take in the mana from the atmosphere and fuse it into their muscle, bones, skins, basically their whole body. The higher mana their body absorbs the stronger their body. Also, like a magician, the denser and purer their core the higher level of attainment." (Antonella)
"The level for warrior are apprentice warrior, warrior, champions. After champion, they will earn the title of ¡®Grand'' and ¡®Arc'' and be bestowed the wings and halos from the world." (Antonella)
"A warrior is still capable of using magic and increasing the size of their core if they wish just like how a magician can use weapons. One difference is that a warrior''s core is much, much denser that a magician''s. The purity if their core also represents their attainment in the path of a warrior." (Antonella)
"Now for why the world bestows the halos and wings." (Antonella)
After saying that, Antonella''s face became serious.
"First, you all have been informed that one can become a god?" (Antonella)
To her question and serious tone, the other could only nod.
"This knowledge is not known to the public. The only people who know of this knowledge are those who have an extremely high status or are special such as his holiness, the empress, those who reached a certain level of power, or people like you, who were summoned from a different world. I will warn you now, that you all can not tell this to anyone else who is not qualified to learn about it."
Hearing her serious tone the others could only nod in agreement. Seeing this, she nodded in return and continued.
"Good, I will hold you to that. But remember, if you do tell anyone who is not qualified, the punishments will be severe." (Antonella)
After seeing that they heard what she said, she continued.
"When one reaches the ¡®grand'' stage, the universe bestows them some knowledge about godhood, however, the halo''s represent they have stopped aging and their life span becomes virtually infinite." (Antonella)
After she said that she made a face as if she had just remembered something.
"I forgot to say, as one advances in level, their lifespan grow and they age slower. An apprentice can live around 100-200 years, a mage or warrior can live 300-1000 years. The span of a magi or champion is 1500-10000. When one becomes a ''Grand'', they basically stop aging and become immortal." (Antonella)
"Now then, when one becomes an ¡®arc'', they get knowledge on how to become a god and the wings represent that they are qualified to become gods. Plus, they also give the ability for one to fly easier and the wings appearance can change so they look more to a person''s liking. " (Antonella)
After answering the questions, the sun started to set and it was becoming night time so Antonella decided to end the lecture for today.
Ra, who was there for the whole lecture looked dispirited for he already knew all of this and since he was forced to be here he was not able to do his job.
After Antonella finished, Ra took the five to their rooms to rest and sleep for the night because the have to do this again tomorrow.
After they reached their rooms and were about to enter, Ra stopped them and spoke.
"What is it, we''re tired *yawn*, can you please make it quick" (Elizabeth)
"Yes, I will. I would just like to apologize for my harsh tone this morning against you all." (Ra)
Saying that Ra bowed. Seeing this the others became a bit flustered and Marc was the one to speak up.
"No, don''t be. What you said was true and we were being rude. The empress and the pope are of higher status to us and we were not being respectful towards them." (Marc)
"Still, even so, the tone I had used was harsh. I even scared Miss Lee, for that, I apologize." (Ra)

"I thank you for forgiving me, now then, I will leave and let you all rest. There will be a servant to bring breakfast in the morning." (Ra)
After saying that, Ra turned around and left. After he left, the others said goodnight to each other and entered their rooms.

Currently, within one of the rooms of the imperial palace is a man. He is currently standing on a balcony looking at the moon. The man has black hair and eyes. From the look on his face, one can realize that he seems to be contemplating over something.
Then as if he suddenly decided his eyes reveal a resolute look and then his silhouette disappears from the balcony.

In a bedroom within the palace stands a woman in a purple negligee. The negligee reveals her perfect snow white shoulders and is cut off slightly above the thighs. That woman is empress Lillian. She is currently within her bedchamber staring at a large portrait that is hung in front of her bed. The portrait is of a young man and woman. The man has black hair and eyes. One can not see his face for it is covered with a mask, the young man is the hero. The woman next to him has long silver hair and heterochromic eyes, right being violet and left being red, that woman is empress Lillian when she was just 16.
"I miss you! Miss you so much! I know you wanted to return to your world! I know you had family there, but didn''t you consider me your family! I want you to come back! So....so much." (Lillian)
As she says that tears start to roll down her cheeks while her face is making an extremely sad and lonely expression. However, that expression disappears all of a sudden and then she quickly turn towards the balcony window of her room. When she see''s the silhouette of a man standing there, a sword of pure mana forms within her hands.
"Who are you and how did you get in here!!?" (Lillian)
What the empress didn''t understand was that upon seeing the silhouette of the man, her heart started to beat faster for a reason other than fear.
When the man doesn''t reply, seemingly in a daze while staring at her, she was about to attack, but then she froze.
"Hmm, seems like you mastered how to converge and mold purely mana. You improved greatly, huh, Lily." (Man)
Hearing what the man said, it wasn''t what was said, but the sound of the voice that made her freeze and her already fast beating heart beat even faster. The voice was familiar to her, too familiar. She had thought about the owner of the voice every single day after he had left this world to return to his. She had always imagined him staying with them, staying with her, living together with them, with her.
While she was frozen the man continued.
"Hohh, but I must say, for you to point your sword at me, what, do you not love me anymore." (Man)
The last thing the man said was with great amounts of sadness and regret in his voice.
After saying that the man stepped out of the shadows and his face was revealed in the moonlight that shown through the windows. Upon seeing his face, the empress felt like a massive explosion happened in her head and her already fast heartbeat felt like it was about to burst out of her chest. She could only mumble out one thing, that one thing was the thing she longed for the most, and it was his name.
"Kaiser!" (Lillian)
[No, this has to be a dream!] (Lillian)
However, what was said and done next made her realize it was not.
"Yea, it''s me, and if you still don''t believe, here..." (Kaiser)
After he said that he released a bit of his mana in Lillian''s direction. A person''s mana can be considered like a fingerprint. Each persons, no matter whose, is unique. If a ¡®grand'' was to do a mana search in an area, every person below the ¡®grand'' level would be detected by them if they either did not have a high-level item to hide their mana or if they were not skilled enough hide it from a ''grand'' level expert.
However, Kaiser did not intend to hide it, he himself sent some towards Lillian so that she would recognize that it was truly him.
The moment the mana neared her and she sensed it, she truly realized what she was experiencing was not a dream. At that moment the mana sword within her hand shattered and immense amounts of tears started to roll down her cheeks.
"It, it''z *sob* relly iz *sob* youuuu." (Lillian)
Seeing tears roll down her cheeks, Kaiser ran neared her and wiped them off. He then, possibly to calm her down, embraced her tightly. Next, he picked her up and led her to the bed where they sat down and stayed in each other''s embrace. After an unknown amount of time Kaiser broke the silence.
"I am sorry. Sorry for leaving you, all of you." (Kaiser)
After a pause, he continued.
"Do you hate me." (Kaiser)
Hearing this, Lillian denied in a frantic tone while shaking her head that was on his chest.

After saying that, Kaiser put his hand on Lillian''s chin and lifted her face up from his chest. He then moved his face towards her and leaned in for a kiss which she accepted without any hesitation. After parting.
"I still love you. I missed you all this time. Are you willing to become mine again." (Kaiser)
When he asked her to become his again, the tone of his voice was filled with fear as if he believed she would reject him.
"Become yours again." (Lillian)
When she said that, she put great emphasis on the again. When he heard the way she said this, he became petrified and started to think of the worst, her saying no. However, what she said next made him realize that she did it on purpose.
"When did I ever stop being yours." (Lillian)
After saying that with a purr she leaned in and kiss him. This time, they did not separate for a long time, seemingly savoring the warmth and softness of each other''s lips. When they separated, it was with great reluctance.
After that, they both laid down on the bed and just stayed in each other''s embrace. After a while, Lillian spoke up.
"Did you meet your family?" (Lillian)
When she asked this, she was meet with an unexpected response.
Seemingly contemplating on what he should tell her he did not speak. After a few moments, he spoke up.
"Lily, I want you to listen to what I am about to say, understand." (Kaiser)
When he said that there was a change in the tone in his voice and noticing this she nodded her head in seriousness.
When she heard what he said she was shocked and felt both fear and relief for him at the same time.
"That doesn''t matter. I''m glad that I was able to see you again." (Lillian)
Upon saying that she once again kissed him. They then stayed in each other''s embrace for a long time until Kaiser spoke up again when he noticed the sky was once again gaining color.
"I''m sorry but I have to go." (Kaiser)
After saying that the two separated with great reluctance, especially Lillian, who even after listening to what he said, did not wish to part.
When he got out of the bed and started to walk towards the balcony, Lillian followed behind him.
He then turned around and once more kissed her and said.
"Please for now, just wait. I promise, soon enough we can once again be together." (Kaiser)
Upon hearing him and remembering what he said while she was in his embrace a while ago she nodded her little head.

After she said that, she waved her hand goodbye and his figure that was on her room''s balcony, disappeared.
She then turned towards her door and started walk towards it with a resolute look on her face, not the sad or tired look she had before. How could she be sad or tired when the man she loved needs something from her.
She was about to do what he requested of her. but halfway to the door, she stopped, she then turned around and walked towards her closet to change out of her negligee, after all, an empress cannot be seen in a negligee by her subjects.
Chapter 8 : Talk Between Gods
While Kaiser and Lillian were having their sweet reunion, currently, in a forest a 300 kilometer away from the castle, there was another reunion happening between four people, one man and three women, and it was also "sweet", just in another way.

Yes, the two women being chased are the two sister Goddesses, Goddess of Light Alma and Goddess of Darkness Adreanna, and the one doing the chasing, well, of course, it was the Pope of Light Abednego. Also, the woman who refused to help the two goddesses, the Pope of the Church of Darkness, Ciara.
"Please help!!! We don''t know what he''ll do if he catches us!" (Alma)

Adreanna who was about to say something she probably shouldn''t quickly stopped and apologized because currently there was a massive bolt of mana in Abednego''s hand, different from the ones he was throwing before, both in size and intensity. Usually, an ordinary attack created out of pure mana would not harm them, two high-ranking goddesses, however, that attack was one of Abednego''s specialities, and even though he did not put enough power into it to harm them, it would still cause them EXTREME amounts of pain if it was to hit, plus everything within a 30 mile radius would be turned to nothing from the aftereffects.
"Forgive you! You want me, too, FUCKING FORGIVE YOU!!! I''ll forgive you all right. RIGHT AFTER I FUCKING SEND YOU TO HELL!!!" (Abednego)

This sight of Abednego chasing the two goddesses, them screaming for help, and Ciara laughing at all of this while sitting on air and clutching her stomach continued for another hour until Ciara felt she had enough laughs and decided to help them. Another reason she stopped it at that moment was because she was able to notice, even if only a little, Abednego had calmed down.
Currently, the four were seated around a white circular table sipping tea. You would not even have known that one of them was chasing two of the others and hurling mana bolts at them if it wasn''t for the whole forest within 5 miles being carbonized and smoking.
"So why did you want to meet us?" (Abednego)
Abednego asked the two goddesses while smiling like him chasing the two and flinging bolts of mana at them never happen.
"We wanted to talk about the summoning of those five with you two." (Alma)
Alma, who also acted as if nothing happened, replied.
"Oh, good. I also want to know the reason for that, and also the reason why you broke my churches interdimensional array." (Ciara)
"Umm, it''s actually my church, Eph!" (Adreanna)
Adreanna, who after hearing Ciara and correcting her flinched in fright after she was glared at by her.

Upon hearing this, both Ciara and Abednego made a serious face. They made a serious face because the amount of people who can ¡®"ask" these two for something were quite few.
One must know that Alderaan was not the biggest world in creation or one of the most populated, but it was one of the oldest. Not only is it one of the oldest, it is also one of the most respected by the citizens of the multiverse. The reason for this was because the amount of gods that were born from this world were only 11. Although compared to other worlds of the same age who have birth many more gods, the exact number is unknown, all of Alderaan''s gods are ranked amongst the strongest. True after so long, there are many ¡®Grands'' and ¡®Arcs'' within the world, however, those who have ascended to godhood are very few.
Among the many gods to be born on Alderaan, the four that are currently chatting are part of the 11, another would be the headmaster of the Alderaan''s greatest magic academy, who is also Abednego''s wife . A year ago, there were only 10 gods from Alderaan until the Dragon Empress ascended and became the eleventh in the world''s history and even she can defeat mostly ever god on the same level as her or one above her, and she only ascended around a year ago so she has a long way before she can reach the next level in godhood. Alderaan is the perfect example of quality over quantity, thought the reason why Alderaan''s gods are stronger that other worlds in unknown. That is also why, Lillian and Abednego''s granddaughter, Lucy, are valued so much, because, with their talent, they are guaranteed to ascend as long as no mishap occurs in the future for them.

Thanks to this, Alderaan''s gods are ranked high within the hierarchy of gods, and Alma and Alderaan being the only true gods governing over light and darkness, are respected even more by the gods, well except a few, two being the popes of their church, Abednego and Ciara. And because of that respect, there are only two groups of people who can "ask" them for a favor. Also, one of these groups would have no interest in this summoning for a certain reason that shall not be mention. So, that only leaves one group and they are¡
"The primordials!" (Abednego)
Upon hearing this Alma and Adreanna nodded.
"However, we do not know which primordial it is. It was another primordial, our husband, who asked us to do it." (Alma)
"Lord Eonel, huh. Shouldn''t he have an interest in those kids? It should be another. Did he tell you who requested it?" (Abednego)
To Abednego''s inquiry, the two shook their head.
"It is strange. Even when we asked he didn''t answer. Usually, he never keeps secrets from us but this time he did." (Adreanna)
"That just means everything is not as simple as it seems." (Ciara)
After Ciara''s comment, they all became quiet and thought over everything.

The high council was a gathering of the gods and god-like beings that was created to help govern the multiverse. The reason Abednego was worrying about this was because, even if it was not restricted in most worlds and dimensions, Alderaan was one of the few worlds that summoning something from another dimension or world is greatly regulated. This is not just for most random things and peoples, even high ranking gods could not go to Alderaan without strict processing because this world was considered a jewel within the multiverse as well as being a favorite of the two most powerful groups within the multiverse, the Ancient, and the Primordial. If the thing summoned was to cause great damage to Alderaan, the wrath of the two groups would be unleashed and many dangerous things would happen.
No one knows why this world is so special, whether, how the gods born from it are so strong or why the Ancient and Primordial cherish it so much.
"You don''t have to worry about that. Since it was a request from a Primordial, the high council has already been informed about it ,and, well, given it was another primordial who told them, they can''t say much." (Alma)
Hearing this the pope signed and made a relieved face.
"Haaa, thank goodness. I hate dealing with those pricks of the high council. Just because they possess high ranks, they think they can boss others around. Humph, if I wasn''t waiting for me waiting for my sweetheart to catch up to me in power, I would have continued raising my power at a faster pace and ascended to become a true god ages ago." (Abednego)
To this, the other three did not say anything, however....

As the two goddesses thought that, they shivered as they remember when they learned "that" woman was his wife and the smile she made when she looked at them that said, ¡®If you tell him anything, I will skewer you two alive.'' Plus, her origins didn''t matter for the two were extremely happy together.
"Speaking of your family, when will Lucy return. It''s been a while and I wanna complain about her grandfather chasing me while shooting mana bolts at us." (Alma)
Upon hearing her say that, Abednego glared at her, which she obviously ignored. He then sighed.
"She will be returning in a month''s time. Around the time the five will have to do the ¡®Trial of the Summoned.'' Personally, I can''t wait for the surprise she''ll bring for that bid=g fool when she returns." (Abednego)
Upon saying that, Abednego made a big sly smile and laughed maliciously. The other three, upon realizing what he meant, laughed as well. Then the four turned their head to face towards the direction of the imperial palace, where, currently, Kaiser and Lillian were having their sweet reunion.
Chapter 9 : Studies and Punishment
It''s been 3 weeks since the group of five have been taking Antonella''s lecture. At first, she was giving easy information that one could memorize, because of this the five thought that the empress and Ra were exaggerating about how bad her lectures were, boy, were they wrong.
During the first week, they were taught the basic theories of magic.
"Imagination and concentration." (Antonella)
That was all she told the five, which, of course, made them very confused. And they asked why only this, she rebuked them.
"You all do not even have a mana core yet you want more in depth knowledge, hah! You probably think that magic is some complex thing, but it''s not! Haven''t you heard that simplicity is gold! If you make things very complex, you''ll only be wasting your mana!" (Antonella)
"Also, people are not the only ones who can do magic. Animal, plants, fungi, etc., sometimes even inanimate objects, can as well. Their bodies naturally absorb the mana in the atmosphere and grow stronger, some just take longer than others.
The second week, they were thought more about the worlds and it''s people.
"You all know about the eight races, humans, elves, dwarves, fairies, lord, dragons, beastmen, and the fallen. I will tell you all a few more things." (Antonella)
"First, among the beastmen and elves, there are various subspecies. For beastmen, there''s the dog tribe, cat tribe, wolf, lizard, etc., for elves, there are snow, mountain, forest, etc. The elves and fairies reside live within the Northern half of Trea while the beastman live in the southern half." (Antonella)
"Also, listen closely and you must not tell anyone this." (Antonella)
Upon saying that she made a serious face.
"We told you all that the Fallen is a race. That is both true and false. I will not go in depth on it, however, if you ever meet a Fallen, never offend them for if they chose to retaliate, you will suffer. In this world, there are only around 11 people who can survive if a Fallen turns into their enemy. But it is a good thing that many of the Fallen are good-natured people." (Antonella)
On the third week was when it happened. They were learning the language of the continent and Salvador''s spoke up.
"Why do we have to learn this when we can already understand the language!?" (Salvador)
One must know that Salvador is not the biggest fan of things that do not interest him. He will do them if he must, but if it''s is optional, then how chose not to.
"You only understand the language because of the magic spell that was cast on you by the world and it will disappear after you all go through the ceremony. If you can''t read, write, and speak the language at a basic level then you will be less intelligent than a 5 or 6-year-old." (Antonella)
"Aghhhh, that doesn''t matter, I don''t need to read or write it, only speak. It alright if Lee learns that." (Salvador)
It was probably that that ticked Antonella off. When she glared at him, he flinched in response. She then spoke to Ra while still keeping her gaze at Salvador.
"Ra, go get the items he needs to clean the ¡®Roc Mud Pits''" (Antonella)
"But he didn''t mean.." (Ra)
"No buts, go prepare it." (Antonella)
Ra didn''t mind that he was cut off. He looked at Salvador with a sympathetic look and then left the library to fulfill the cardinals request.
"Since you will question whether you should learn the language or not, I''ll have to punish you as well as let you be an example." (Antonella)
"The lecture is over, you are free to do whatever you wish for the rest of the day as long as you all don''t disturb the workings of the castle." (Antonella)
After saying that, she grabbed Salvador by the ear and started to pull him out of the library.
"Ouch, stop that you old hag!!" (Salvador)
"Who are you calling an old hag, I am still young!!" (Antonella)

While she dragged him out of the library, the other four did not say anything for the felt fear when they looked at Antonella''s eyes, especially when he mentioned how old she is.
Later that day when Salvador came back, he smelled rancid that even if you were more them 10 feet away from him, you could still smell it. He wasn''t allowed back in the castle and had to sleep outside in a brown comforter one of the butlers gave him.
Before the butler left, he said
"You are not the first to get the Roc Pit punishment These comforters are always given to those that get it. At first, since we couldn''t get the color and smell out we burned them, but since we lost many high-quality comforters because of it, we just re-use them and put them in a separate hut outside the palace." (Butler)
The other four didn''t know about any of this until the next day when they met Salvador again. He, even though better than before, still stunk horribly and was forced to take consecutive baths by the four and the maids until he smelt better.
After the bath, he told the others about his experience.
"Shit, not mud, BUT SHIT!!! It''s NOT A MUD PIT BUT BUT A FUCKING TOILET FOR GIANT ASS BIRDS. PLUS, THE THING I HAD TO USE FOR THE CLEANING WAS A BROOM, A BUCKET, AND MOP, THAT''S IT. THAT FUCKING PLACE WAS MASSIVE." (Salvador)
"AND THE REASON I SMELT SO BAD WAS BECAUSE ONE OF THOSE FUCKS TOOK A SHIT WHILE I WAS CLEANING AND IT LANDED ON ME. THEN HE LOOKED AT ME WITH A SMUG FACE AND LAUGHED, I KNOW IT!!!!!!!!" (Salvador)
"A bird shouldn''t be capable of that¡..never mind this is a different world." (Lee)
"I DONT GIVE A SHIT, I SWEAR I WILL FIND THAT GIANT CHICKEN AND FUCKING ROAST IT!!!!!" (Salvador)
After a while, he calmed down and seeing that the other four looked haggard, he asked with curiosity why they looked like that. The answer was.
"We couldn''t get any sleep last night." (Lyle)
"Yea, there was this really pitiable scream that kept resounding. And not just us but the other people in the castle heard it as well." (Elizabeth)
"Yea, but it funny, the voice sounded like Cardinal Spardas." (Lee)
"It probably was, didn''t you hear what Antonella said when Sal was about to mention her age and he told on Cardinal Sparda." (Marc)
Their guess was soon proven correct. When they went towards the library, they ran into the cardinal as he left his room and saw the horrible and shriveled up state he was in. When they were about to asked him why he was like that, Antonella came out of his room and looked like she was glowing.
The two walked away from them, Antonella with her arm entwined around Sparda''s seemingly not noticing them, Sparda, on the other hand, was glaring at Salvador like he would kill him at any moment.
When the two walked away, only then did the group have the courage to speak up.
"Why are in the same room, and why are their arms entwined?" (Marc)
Marc asked the others, and unexpectedly got an answer from his sister.
"Those two are married." (Elizabeth)
"They''re what!!!?" (3 Boys)
"Married, Miss Antonella told us that once when us girls were alone together." (Lee)
"So the reason their currently like that and the reason for the screaming last night was..." (Marc)

As he said that the 3 guys in the group gulped, seemingly pale. Seeing this, the 2 girls couldn''t help but giggle.
Their usual days went by like this until the day of the ceremony came..
Chapter 10 : Trial of the Summoned
It has been a little over one month since Lyle and his friends were summoned to the world of Alderaan. Since the time they have been here, they have met a pope and cardinals of a religion and the empress of a massive empire. They have taken the lectures from one of the cardinals and suffered her punishment repeatedly, mainly Salvador for he didn''t learn the first time, and since he cleaned the "Roc Mud Pit", he thought it couldn''t get dirty so fast but he underestimated how much those Roc birds poop.
They also repeatedly listened to the loud noise of the other cardinal, Sparda, Antonella''s husband, every night for a week, of course, this was also caused by Salvador.
Currently, the five are within a lounging area with the pope and two cardinals, one of which seems to be radiating light, the other haggard and shriveled up that he looks like a skeleton.
"When is the device going to get here? It already a week late!" (Elizabeth)
"Calm yourself, child, we have gotten word that it will arrive within an hour. I have been informed of this more the 50 minutes ago so it should arrive soon." (Antonella)
Antonella who was glowing answered back with a joy filled tone while she was still holding onto Spardas arm. He, on the other hand, could barely stand.
When the five looked at the two, they felt slightly awkward seeing the "Devil" women, as they called her, to be behaving like that.
The reason for this was that they realized why Ra and the Empress were so scared of her lectures. It wasn''t that they were difficult, it was that the punishments were truly horrible. This mainly showed on the third week when Marc, Elizabeth, and Lyle failed a test given by her on the common language of the world. As punishment the had to feed the Lizaans.
A Lizaan is a massive sea monster, large enough to hold a small town on its back. The Empire uses them as mobile fortresses.
(A.N. Lizaan looks like a Thalassomedon but shorter neck, broader back, and just bigger.)
Well, the three had to hand feed these massive creatures. It took them from dawn till dusk to feed just one. It was a good thing that these creatures were very patient, otherwise, at the speed the three were going at, they might have become the monsters food. It took the 3 three days to feed all 5 Lizaans. During this time they couldn''t return to the castle and had to stay in the port city where the Lizaans were located.
When they returned, Salvador asked the three how was it¡
"It was chum, liquified chum, LIQUID FISH GUTS!!! It smelt, horrible." (Marc)
Elizabeth, unlike her brother, the moment she returned, took a bath and ran to her room. Lyle followed in her footsteps and did the same.
Lee was lucky for, since she was diligent, was able to pass all of Antonella''s test and never suffered any punishment.
While the five were reminiscing, they shivered. The pope noticed this and smiled at them.
"You all seemed to have enjoyed your lectures." (Pope)
Hearing this the five glared at him but didn''t say anything about it. Instead, Marc asked.
"Have they ever acted like this before?" (Ra)
"Yes, they have. Multiple*sigh*multiple time. You just have to get used to it." (Pope)
When the pope said that, his face was slightly dark, as if he truly wasn''t accustomed to it. Hearing him say that Antonella spoke up.
"Your holiness, it is true we might behave like this from time to time, however, were not like you who has a tendency to drop everything the moment you see your wife or hear that she has come for a visit." (Antonella)
Hearing this the pope stood up from his seat and looked at the two.
"So what!!! Unlike you two who can be together all the time, I have to be separated from her and can rarely see her and she can only visit me when the Academy is off for a break. Why can''t I chose to drop everything to meet her, HUH!!!" (Pope)
At the pope''s outburst, it was Sparda who replied.
"You do not think about your position when you do these kinds of thing. Remember when you were meeting with a council member of the Beastmen and the moment you heard that your wife returned, you left him in your study to meet her. If the councilmember was not Lord Leon who knows the type of person you are, but another, it would not have gone with consequences!" (Sparda)
"You fool!!! The only reason I did that was because it was Leon, he wouldn''t care one bit!" (Pope)
"Then what of the time when you decided to drop by at the Academy to surprise her but caused huge panic among the students and staff with your surprise visit. Not all of them know that the two of you are married." (Sparda)
"So what, it''s not a secret that we''re married. Plus, they should feel honored that they could see the pope of one of Alderaan''s biggest religions!'' (Pope)
"All right then what about when you took young miss Lucy and went to the Dra.." (Sparda)
"Ahh, STOP! STOP! That''s enough! Fine, I get it! I won''t complain about you to being lovey-dovey, just promise you two will keep the noise down from now on at night, your room is right next to mine." (Pope)

When the pope said that, while Sparda had a satisfied face for cornering the pope, Antonella blushed for what the pope said afterward.
During this whole process, the five teens had blank faces not knowing what to do. What brought everyone back was a knock and the door opening.
"Everyone, the preparations are complete, now if you follow me, I will lead you to the trail area." (Ra)
They all left the room and started to follow Ra. On the way there, Ra started to explain the trail.
"For the trail to start, all you have to do is touch the large crystal that will be in the room. Once you touch it, the trail will begin. You all can go in at once or one at a time, it does not matter." (Ra)
"What are the trails like?" (Marc)
"We do not know. It is different for everyone who does it. The stone will take your consciousness and put it to a test, however from what some of the previous summoned have said, it shows them their greatest fears and they must overcome it" (Ra)
"However, the hero Kaiser said that his was him watching his family die before him and him being unable to do anything. It was quite a surprise when we heard that." (Ra)
When Ra said that, the five paled and stopped their steps. Seeing them do that, he chucked.
"It''s alright, his was a special case and it''s never that bad. Most of the others who have told us have said that they lost something that was important to them and had to find it or overcome that loss and some didn''t even go through a test and were able to form their mana core." (Ra)
"We''ve noticed that the ones who are more skilled as magicians have a more metal related test and those who are more skilled as warriors have a more simple test or no test at all, however, this is not always the case as well." (Pope)
Hearing this the five were not sure how to feel. However, since they started to run late they had to get moving once again. On the way there Ra continued his explanation.
"No matter what the test is it will never affect the person in real life so you do not have to worry about anything like that. Also, if one fails the test, there is nothing to worry about for their memory of it is wiped clean by the crystal so there will be no metal damage. But, if one does fail the test the will be unable to use the easy way to create a mana core and must take a more difficult way." (Ra)
"What''s the difficult way?"(Lee)
"They must have mana placed into their bodies and have to create the core themselves. This method is¡..painful." (Ra)
Ra said that with a slightly malicious smile. Seeing him make that kind of face the five tensed. Not noticing this, he continued.
"Also, when you finish the test, whether you pass or not, you will have a choice to change your name. It might seem strange, however, you all are in a new world and will be beginning new lives, I suggest you change your names but that is up to you." (Ra)
"And lastly, this is only if you pass the test, you will have the option to change your race to one other than human. You can change your race into anything but the Dragons and Fallen." (Ra)
"We can change races, Cool!" (Salvador)
"I don''t think I wanna change my race. (Lee)
"Come on that sounds cool, who wouldn''t want to be something other than human, plus, there doesn''t seem to be any open discrimination in this world. Let''s change races together." (Salvador)
While those two were having their talk, Marc looked at Ra and spoke.
"Why can''t we pick Dragon or Fallen?" (Marc)

It was the pope who spoke.
"...the Dragons are not as numerous and only have a population of around fifteen hundred(1500), if you wish to become one, it would be both physically and magically impossible for none of you have met the conditions. As for the Fallen, I believe Antonella explained about them and that they both are and aren''t a race so that makes it absolutely impossible for one to change their race to a Fallen." (Ra)
"What are the conditions to become a dragon?"
"These conditions apply to all races, not just Dragons. First, you psyche must be similar to the race you wish to be, mainly size, and no humanoid race can compare to Dragons in size. As for the other condition, it is an innately born talent, and other than dragons, no one has that." (Ra)
As they were talking they reached a large door. The cardinals stepped up and open it. Inside was a large dim room. In the center was a large green jade colored crystal. Around it was some type of circle with what seemed to be runes written within it.
Standing outside the circle was the empress facing towards the group that just entered. She opened her mouth and spoke.
"Good, you''re here, let''s begin then shall we." (Empress)
Chapter 11: Trial of the Summoned - Part 2
The Empress moved her gaze to the group and stopping momentarily at Lyle, then she moved it once again and this time stop at Ra.
"Did you explain it to them?" (Empress)
"Yes, I have, your majesty." (Ra)
The Empress nods her head and once again look at the five.
"Good, you all know what you have to do. So now go and touch the crystal. Your consciousness will transfer toward into the crystal and then the test will begin. As for the rest, come follow me."
After she said that, the Empress turned around and walked to the edge of the room towards a wall while the pope, cardinals, and Ra followed. Contrary to what the five were thinking that they would stop in front of the wall, they did not and had passed through it.
This left the five wide-eyed and they stayed that way until the voice of the empress came through the wall that told them to touch the crystal.
"Why am I even surprised, this is a world of magic." (Salvador)
As he said that in a whisper seemingly to himself, he moved towards the crystal and with some hesitation, touched it. The other four followed suit to this and did the same. However, what they were expecting did not happen and they were still conscious.
"I will now activate the crystal." (Empress)
As the Empresses'' voice came through the wall, the crystal lightened up and the consciousness of the five went blank.

When gramps commented, Sparda replied seemingly to the test, but I know they said that not because the test started but because they noticed the thing I have placed within the room hidden from the sight of the five.
"I''m guessing that the thing hidden by a concealment spell is what he asked for." (Pope)
"Yes" (Lillian)
"Then the magic circle is also what he requested from you?" (Pope)
To his inquiry, I nod. The things he asked for are all placed within the room and the magic circle has also been prepared.
"Gramps, do you know what those things are for and why they will be needed?" (Empress)
Out of curiosity I couldn''t help but ask him. It''s not that I don''t trust Kaiser but I was curious for what reason he will need them.
"He should have told you his circumstances right. He will need them to gain freedom." (Pope)
I know that but why does he need those specific thinks, I''m not sure how will they help him. It looks like gramps noticed this and assured me.
"Calm down Lillian. Trust him on this. I can''t tell you why he needs those items exactly but you will realize soon enough after the trial is over." (Pope)
[Arggg, I hate when he does that! Just tell me already!!!] (Empress)
"Hehehe, I know what you are thinking but that''s how gramps is and he won''t ever change." (???)
The one who said that was a woman who entered through the door in the viewing area. She''s tall for women, around the height of an average man. She has long flowing golden hair that seemed to be made up of the sun''s rays themselves. Her skin is a milky white and her eyes contradict the lightness of both her hair and skin for her irises are black. Her figure was what could be considered perfect that many men would lose to their lust if they were to see her bare body. The reason for it needing to be bare was because usually she always wore a long loose robe that hid everything.
"Lucy, sorry for making you get everything." (Empress)
"Don''t worry, it was for your beloved right, plus we were only delayed for a week. The others didn''t mind much either for they got to see the different places where those items were located. Also, if I was also to be separated from my beloved for a long amount of time and was finally able to meet him, it would comply with his wishes as well if it meant we could be together again." (Lucy)
As she said that, she trotted over to Ra and stood next to him.
Seeing this gramps made a slightly pained expression.
"What, after not seeing your grandfather for so long you don''t even greet him. It''s not fair! My own granddaughter is acting like this and gets to be with her husband. These two are also acting all lovey-dovey and soon Lily will get her lover back! Why Am I The Only One Who Can''t Be With Their Beloved!!!" (Pope)
After saying that, the pope had a resolute look in his eyes and he said in a loud voice.
"That''s It! I''ve Decided! I Will Retire From Being The Pope Of The Almarian Church And Spend The All Of My Time With My Wife At The Academy!!!" (Pope)
To gramps rash statement, Antonella and Sparda both hit him hard on the head and yelled
"NO YOU''RE NOT" (Antonella and Sparda)
Seeing the usual scene of gramps rubbing his head we all couldn''t help but laugh. I then looked towards Lucy and asked her my question.
"Where are the other''s?" (Empress)
"They all had a long journey and are currently tired. They fell asleep on the way here and when we landed were carried to their rooms." (Lucy)
To her answer, I only nodded and once again turned my head to look at the five and now glowing magic circle. Silently, I could only hope that what he said could come true.

When Lyle opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was black. When he looked around, everything was still black. He soon noticed that he was floating in a black space. He kept looking around frantically and did not notice anything or anyone.
"Hello, Is Anyone There!" (Lyle)

The moment Lyle thought that a small white light suddenly appeared in the distance. The light was so small that he didn''t know whether it was really far away or just really small. Then suddenly, he was being pulled towards the light. First, it was slow but it gradually started to speed up until the force pulling him became so great that the speed he was being pulled at exceeding the speed of sound. During the whole thing, Lyle tried his best to resist but he could not do so.
[Is this part of the test!?] (Lyle)
When he finally reached the light his body made an abrupt stop. He was just floating there in a daze trying to get rid of the ringing in his head and make sure his organs were in the place they belonged.
"That was surprisingly correct." (???)
When some of Lyles thought process returned, he was able to get a good look at the light. He noticed it was not a light but actually a pure white owl with three pairs of wings. The owl was staring at him and it was staring back. Then it spoke.
"What do I have something on my face or did the pulling mess with your mind too much?" (Owl)
Hearing this, Lyle finally snapped out of his stupor and spoke.
"Are you part of the test?" (Lyle)
"Hmm, you can speak, huh. Well, the answer to your question is, no. I will only start the test for you." (Owl)

The owl spoke, but there was no reply for there was no one in the space beside it. Then a repely came back and with it a figure.
"I don''t know. Maybe it will be something similar to my previous one. (???)
"Similar to yours huh. Then it will be tough on him." (Owl)
"I don''t think so." (???)
Hearing the figure, the owl did not comment and just shoke its head. It then looked at the figure and spoke.
"Anyway. I bet you''re happy huh. You got to meet your precious Lily again. Aren''t you Kaiser." (Owl)
"Of course, I''m happy about that. But I''m also curious as to why you summoned me again to Alderaan again, hmmm, Alma?" (Kaiser)
Upon Kaisers question a white light surrounded the owl and its figure begun to change. It became taller and two pairs of wings disappeared. Then the last pair transformed into arms. The round owl head started to gain more shape and its legs grew. When the light disappeared, what was revealed was the figure of an absolutely stunning women.
"If you are curious of why you were summoned, ask Abednego, I have told everything to him that is needed to be known." (Alma)
As the goddess said that, Kaiser was examining her every move and expression trying to pick up any clues, sadly he couldn''t.
He then asked with curiosity trying to see if he could figure out the reason he was summoned.
"The reason for the summoning was not to bring those five here but it was to bring me and because of the circumstances, they were also summoned." (Kaiser)
Upon hearing this, Alma nodded and seeing that Kaiser continued.
"Then, are you aware of those circumstances?" (Kaiser)
"Yes, I am aware. I am also aware of what caused the interdimensional tunnel to destabilize." (Alma)
Upon hearing her, Kaiser became curious and was about to ask what had caused it but decided not to upon seeing Alma''s face that showed even if he asked she would not say. He then sighed and spoke.
"Then, let me guess the reason the summoning was done." (Kaiser)
After saying that his face became serious.
"Does it have to do with the War of the Races?" (Kaiser)
Upon hearing that, Alma nodded while biting her lip.
"The people of Alderaan are not aware of the real reason behind the war, the ones that know of it are only those directly involved." (Alma)
"Who is it this time?'' (Kaiser)
When Kaiser asked that, he had a small idea of who it was but stilled hoped his guess was wrong. Seeing his face, Alma could only sigh for she knew his guessed correctly.
"It''s a Fallen." (Alma)
"A Fallen huh. Are you fucking kidding." (Kaiser)
"Back then, even if I could fight the Dragon Empress I still couldn''t defeat the weakest of the Fallen and now with me in my current state, we will have fight a Fallen that has...." (Kaiser)
Even if Kaiser said it in a calm demeanor, inwardly he was cursing up a storm and raging.
[ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING!!! A FUCKING FALLEN!!! GUAHHHHH!!!!!](Kaiser)
"Last time the amount of people who died in the war was a little less than half pf Alderaans population, many races became extinct in this world because of that war. If I and the other gods did not change the memory of the citizens of Alderaan, the world would not be being joyous as it is now." (Alma)
"But we can''t fight a Fallen! Us in our current state are hopeless! Unless you gods interfere, we will not be able to stop it!!!" (Kaiser)
"Don''t worry about that. Currently, the ¡®Fallen'' had attacked another Fallen and lost. It will take a while for it to recover, sadly it fled to another dimension and we have still not been able to locate it." (Alma)
"You do realize that my mana core broke and I will not receive the boost I did last time. I will have to start over from the beginning and I do not know how long it will take to reach my previous level!" (Kaiser)
"Yes, we know. However, there is nothing we can do about that this time. We were only allowed to give you a boost because it was a desperate situation at that time. However, this time, there is more time avalible, but still, you only have ten years to reach your previous level." (Alma)
The goddess said that in a nonchalant manner, however, Kaiser freaked out at what she said and raised his voice.
"Ten years. ARE YOU KIDDING!!! PREVIOUSLY, I WAS AT THE BORDER TO GODHOOD! AND YOU EXPECT ME TO REACH THAT SAME LEVEL IN TEN YEARS!!!!!" (Kaiser)
Hearing him yell, Alma could do nothing for she knew herself how difficult this task was.
"I am aware of the difficulty, but, unlike the others of Alderaan, you have a greater advantage. First, the assistance of the trail in the forming of your mana core. Also, most likely you will be enrolled in the Academy. There, you will have the assistance of Abednego''s wife. She is also aware of what is happening and should help you. Plus, don''t look down on your own talent." (Alma)
"You say all that, but in reality, you yourself are spectacle about me being able to do it, aren''t you?" (Kaiser)
Kaiser had said that with certainty in his voice and Alma couldn''t help but smile wryly for he guessed her thoughts. Realizing that it was starting to become awkward Alma continued in a rush.
"Well, there''s no point in wasting time for time is what we need the most of right now, so..." (Alma)
As she said that she waved her hand and another door of light was created. However, this time, instead of entering voluntarily, Kaiser was pulled in against his will.
"Hey!!! At Least tell me what the test will¡." (Kaiser)
He did not have the chance to finish his statement for he was pulled into the door against his will and it closed behind him.
After it closed, Alma just stood there and sighed. She then spoke.
"Will you really not tell me what is truly going on and why you all favor him so much?" (Alma)
When she finished speaking, a figure appeared. This figure has been here since the beginning but Kaiser nor Lyle were able to detect it. Only Alma was able to because it let her.
"I am sorry. I do not wish to keep secrets from you but this is something I can''t tell you just yet." (Figure)
As the figure said this, it walked closer to Alma.
"Is it is really such a secret that you primordials will keep it from us. Even if I am not at your level in strength, I am still one of the few true gods in existence." (Alma)
Hearing her pouty voice, the figure could do nothing for he knew this was a secret that only the primordials and ancients were aware of.
"I am truly sorry, even to the other true gods, I can''t say. Please bear with your curiosity for now." (Figure)
"Fine, I will state my curiosity for now." (Alma)
Hearing this, the figure revealed a smile and the two of them disappeared from the space.

Chapter 12 : Trial of the Summoned - Part 3
I''m Backk, still in pain but back.
One thing, I combined chapters 1 and 2 into one, hence this being chapter 12 instead of chapter 13. Because of this, the comments that were made are actually the previous chapters. Example, the comments on chapter 3 are actually for chapter 2. Well, anyway, enjoy.
Kaiser slowly regained his consciousness. He tried to open his eyes but when he did a sharp pain ran throughout his whole body that forced him to once again close them. The pain made him want to scream. Even after a few moments, the pain didn''t subside. He had to force open his eyes and when he did, what he saw shocked him.
He currently lay in a courtyard of some grand palace. Except, in this courtyard, there were countless amounts of bodies laying around. The palace the courtyard was a part of was in was in ruins and much of it was on fire.
Seeing this scene, he tried to stand but when he did a sharp pain once more traveled throughout his body causing him to fall once again. As he looked at the area the pain came from, a familiar sword had been stabbed through the right side of his stomach. The sword appeared to be a simple broadsword, except, the blade was pitch black and giving off a dreadful aura. When he saw the sword, his pupil contacted and worry rose in his heart.
This sword was very familiar to him. When he saw it, it brought back a bad memory that he did not want to re-live. The crystal that is used for the trail is very special. It tests the person''s mental and physical capacity. If it judges the person unworthy, it will not grant a mana core whether or not they pass the trial.
But, if the crystal judges them worthy, they can get a mana core that is at the apprentice level or up, there were some cases where the one taking the trial even received an Arc level core. Previously, when Kaiser took the trial, he was not bestowed with a mana core. The crystal gave him enough power that the moment he would have a breakthrough, he would become a god.
This type of happening was the first in Alderaan''s history. During that time, it was unknown why such a thing happened. In the end, it was believed that the crystal had judged that if the hero did not have that amount of power, he could not be of any help in the war.
As he gritted his teeth and forced his body to stand, he removed the sword from his abdomen and used a healing spell on himself to stop the bleeding. After that, he slowly exited the courtyard and entered the halls of the palace. As he walked through the hallway and past the countless amounts of lifeless bodies, he reached a small door.
After a moment of pause, he opened the door and enter. Inside was a small dimly lit room. It looked to be a storage closet with a pedestal up against the wall. He then entered the room and walked towards the pedestal. He stopped in front of it and picked up the small round object that was placed on the pedestal. The object was a fruit the size of a baby''s fist. The skin of the fruit was a glossy purple. The fruit was about the size of a baby''s fist.
He rolled it around in his palm contemplating what he should do next. He then brought it up to his face, seemingly decided and took a bite. The moment he swallowed the fruit, he had a coughing fit and fell onto his knees. He coughed and hacked and his body felt pain like never before, like every cell in his body was being ripped apart. What he was coughing up was not mucus, but blood.
His was aware that he had to finish the rest of the fruit but both his mind and body were screaming in pain and telling him to stop. He ignored those pleas and took another bite. This time, the pain he felt was excruciating, like his very soul was being ripped apart. However, even with this, he ignored it and took the last bite.
After he swallowed the remainder of the fruit, what he felt was not pain or agony but a soothing sensation. It felt as if he enter a cool bath after a hot day or finding that comfortable position in bed.
As he looked down at his abdomen where the wound was, there was nothing there but his tattered shirt. Previously, his body was also covered in countless scratches and bruises and now, even they disappeared. After a moment, the soothing feeling disappeared and was replaced by a warm feeling and he felt large amounts of energy enter his body.
After his body was healed and his energy and mana restored, Kaiser held out his and hand ordered.
"Come!" (Kaiser)
At the order, a staff manifested in his stretched out hand. The staff was made out of metal, 6 feet (2m) long and ice blue in color. The staff had six curved prongs protruding out and on each prong was an octagonal cut gem. Each gem was the size of a baby''s fist and white in color. These six prongs surrounded the head of the staff. In the middle of the six gems, on the main body of the staff was a black polished stone that was the size of an adult''s fist. The bottom of the staff was sharpened to a point and could be used as a sword or javelin.
After the staff appeared, Kaiser looked up and pointed it to the roof. At that moment, all of the gems on the staff glowed and changed from white to brown. The next second, a large hole open on the ceiling. Through the hole, you could see the clouds in the sky.
At the next moment, three pairs of translucent wings appeared behind his back, each a different color. From top to bottom, they were white, gray, and black. The next moment, three large halos appeared behind his three set of wings that were also white, gray, and black. The were rotating in a clockwise circle.
He then jumped up in the air and flow out of the hole that was created. As he exited the palace, what meet his eyes was utter destruction. The palace was surrounded by a city which currently was in utter chaos. There were countless fires and destroyed buildings. The there was no sign of life in the city but on the streets and within the ruins of homes and buildings laid countless amount of bodies. The bodies belonged to people of different races, age, and gender.
In the ruins of the city there were several large creators and in each creator lied a people, in one of them, a woman with silver hair, Lillian, in another, a young man with chestnut brown hair, Ra, in another was a women with blonde hair, Lucy, in the other craters were also other people.
Near the center of the city was the largest crater. In that crater laid the body of a dragon. The dragon was massive. The large dragon was covered in silver scales and had three large pairs of wings on its back that were, unlike its body, black in color. Along the spine, all the way to the tail of the dragon there were two rows of spikes protruding. The spikes were the same color as the wings of the dragon. The head of the dragon had several horns protruding that pointing backward and formed a "V".
The dragon would have looked absolutely breathtaking and majestic if there weren''t streams of blood flowing from its body. The dragon was currently pinned to the ground by three large spears, one through its middle wings, another through its lower back, and the last through the bottom of its long neck. This dragon was the one who ruled the over the Dragons, their Empress.
Upon seeing this scene, Kaiser''s heart went cold. This was his most hated memory. When he first opened his eyes, he hoped that what he saw was not this but the moment he saw the sword that was impaling him he realized that he once again had to experience this accursed moment.
As he was looking at this scene of carnage, a voice called out to him. The voice carried a mocking tone and held arrogance that seemed to be looking down on all of existence.
"Ho, you''re still alive. As expected of the hero." (???)
When Kaiser heard this voice his heart went cold. He turned his head in the direction of the voice came from and the moment his eyes saw that familiar figure, they were filled with a chilling light and he started to give off an immense bloodlust that would frighten even the coldest, most brutal of villains. However, the figure just laughed at this.
"Haha, to think that even you can look at another like that and give off such a bloodlust. What, are you mad that I hurt your precious friends? Hehe, they were so weak and fragile that even with a simple swipe they broke!" (Figure)

Kaiser said that through gritted teeth.
"You''re wrong. They were nothing more than insects on the side of the road." (Figure)
As the figure said that, it raised its arm into the air and a large spear formed and faster than Kaiser could act, grabbed the spear and threw it downwards at the crater he was above. The spear flew and penetrated the tail of the Dragon Empress who let out a loud roar when a new source of pain was created on her already pain ridden body.
Seeing this, Kaiser charged at the figure. He swung his staff at the figure who blocked it with a newly manifested spear that was smaller than the others. Kaiser kicked his leg out aiming at the figures head who caught it with his free hand. Seeing that his kick was caught, instead of panicking, he applied force on his staff and used his free hand and punched towards the figures face.
Seeing the incoming fist, the figure realized Kaiser''s leg and sent his own punch out and when the two fists collided a shock wave was created that separated the two.
"Halvah you bastard! Why did you trick us!!!" (Kaiser)
As said that he once again charged at Halvah. Kaiser slightly rotated his staff and created 7 fireballs that were a meter long and shot them towards Halvah. Seeing these incoming fireballs, Halvah laughed and with a flip of his hand created 7 ice spear and shot them toward the incoming fireballs.
"To betray someone, you must originally be on their side. Sadly for you all, I was never on your side to begin with." (Halvah)
After saying that, he charged as well towards the incoming Kaiser and when the both of them neared each other, they raised their weapons and swung. When the two weapons collided, a large boom was created and another shock wave was created.
As they both applied more power to their weapons, sparks started to form. Halvah lifted up his leg and kicked Kaiser in the stomach, sending him plummeting to the ground and crashing into the ruins of a home, completely destroying it.
He then lifted his spear and pointed it towards the sky and when he did a purple light formed at the tip. The next moment, the dark clouds started formed and thunder sounded. However, before he could use his spell, a white beam of light shot out of the house Kaiser crashed into. Seeing this light, Havilah had no choice but to halt his magic midway and dodge. Sadly for him, he was a bit too slow and one of his arms became dust.
The next moment, Kaiser appeared next to him and stabbed the sharpened end of his staff at his head which he dodged by tilting it to the right. However, Kaiser did not stop and changed from a stab to a swing to the right. Halvah in return swung his spear and blocked the incoming strike. Halvah then kicked towards Kaiser''s chest who blocked it by crossing his arms. The force that was put into the kick separated the two and sent them flying in opposite directions.
Halvah was able to stop himself before Kaiser and he quickly pointed his spear to the sky once again to finish his spell. By the time Kaiser stop flying backward, it was too late to stop him from casting his magic. Thunder sounded and then purple lighting started to rain from the sky.
Everything the lighting struck instantly turned to ash. Kaiser was flying around and dodging each lighting strike with everything he had. Seeing this, Halvah laughed and then moved his hand and pointed towards one of the craters.
"Haha, hey mister hero, will you be able to save your friends before my spell turns them to ash." (Halvah)
As he laughed, he pointed downward in the direction he was pointing and a whole barrage of lightning rained down into the crater. Smiling, he turned to look at the place where Kaiser was dodging the lightning. However, in the next moment, his smile froze. He then looked down at his chest and saw a bloodied Kaiser and the sharp end of his staff stabbing through his heart.
"You, why did you not protect them. That was your lover, and instead of saving her you attacked me?" (Halvah)
"Wrong. Look." (Kaiser)
At Kaiser''s words, Halvah looked towards the creator and saw that there was small barrier covering Lillian''s body. Seeing the barrier, Halvah laughed.
"Hehehe, so the old fart was still alive huh." (Halvah)
The tone he used as he said that was different the one before, it held no mockery or contempt, only relief and a hint of joy.
"Well, you beat me. You happy now?" (Halvah)
He then looked at Kaiser''s face, expecting to see relief and joy over finally defeating his enemy but what he saw shocked him. Kaiser''s face was emotionless, however, his eyes carried many emotions, and none of them were any form of excitement. There was sadness, pity, anger, sorrow, regret, and much more, but, no happiness or joy or any like those. Seeing such a look in his eyes, Halvah couldn''t help but ask.
"Why do you look at me with such eyes. They disgust me!" (Halvah)
Hearing this, there was a change in the expression on Kaiser''s face, but it was not what Halvah expected. His previously emotionless face now showed sadness.
"You don''t have to worry. I will take care of them." (Kaiser)
Hearing this, Halvah became confused but when he saw the small flash of reinsurance in Kaiser''s eyes his body trembled and doubt appeared in his heart. He than once again looked at Kaiser and seeing that the emotions present on his face were no fake he realized it was not a joke.
"You, when did you¡" (Halvah)
"I will say this..." (Kaiser)
Ignoring his question, Kaiser spoke while as he looked into Halvah''s eyes.
"Friend, what you have done is wrong. You have taken the lives of many. They all had family and friends waiting for them at home. What''s even sadder is that none of their families and friends will remember them. Soon, all of those you have killed will be forgotten and the only ones who can moran, respect, and grieve for them are us and our sympathy does not mean shit to them. The ones that should remember them is not just us few, but it should be their loved ones for those people truly matter and care for the deceased." (Kaiser)
"For what you did, I will not forgive you, but remember this, even if they forget about you, I will remember. If everyone hates you, spits on you grave, kicks your dead body, I will be the one to stop them. And finally, when you suffered enough and have gotten your just deserts, I will be the one to drag you out of the gates of hell." (Kaiser)
"So, until then Halvah, suffer, suffer and repent. And just know that they will be safe and sound, so on the day I drag you out, you will be able to see their smiling faces once again." (Kaiser)
Upon hearing this, large amounts of tears rolled down Halvah''s face and did not stop, no matter how hard he tried to stop them from falling. He could no longer look at Kaiser''s face and could no longer speak. Eventually, he mustered up enough courage and spoke.
"*sob**sob* Thank You.*sob* Please, I beg you, take good care of them*sob* and I will wait for the day*sob* you come for me!" (Halvah)
After Halvah spoke those words, the last bit of life left his body. The moment it did, his body slowly started to turn into sand and fall. Seeing the sand fall and the wind blow it away, Kaiser could only close his eyes. He faced his head up at the sky and tears started to pour out of his shut eyes as he whispered.
"Don''t worry, I will be the only one!" (Kaiser)
After saying that, he screamed. He screamed at the lungs out, screamed for his fallen comrade, his fallen friend. As he screamed, he unconsciously started to release mana. He kept on doing this until he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder. Feeling the touch, he opened his eyes and instead of seeing the ruins of a city, he saw the face of a middle-aged man. Seeing that face, Kaiser could only whisper feebly.
"Grandpa Abednego." (Kaiser)
Hearing him speak, Abednego nodded while smiling slightly
"It''s alright now, you must be tired, rest, we''ll talk later." (Pope)
After hearing those words, Kaiser''s consciousness slowly faded.

Hello my fellow RRL brothers and sisters. As many of you who have read the notice know, I have undergone a procedure and it will take 1 to 2 months to fully heal. Sadly, I will also start to attend college within a few days(2 to be exact). I have put this story up in other places and also made my own website Kaiser Fictions. Now then, since I have put this story on other places, I have got some excellent advice and criticism from a user of that forum. Now because of this advice, I have decided to do a complete rewrite of the story "Otherworldly Magicians Return". The plot will remain the same, however, I will be changing the way the story is presented and make it better. Now because of this rewrite and since my chapters are mostly all around 10,000 characters (2,000 words), it will be tiring to do so, but nether the less, I will still do it.

Now because of this rewrite, I will be going on a 1, maybe 2-month hiatus until I finish and also get some extra chapters done so I can release them on a fixed schedule(maybe, no promises).
