《Rebirth into a Magical World》 Chapter 1: The End and Beginning of my Story My name is Daren and this is well¡ a story about my life; which is as normal as it could possibly get, it is so normal that people could go as far as to call it weird or unusual. I have an average life as I like to remind myself; I¡¯m awaken by my parents who go to extreme lengths just to wake me up (such as throwing water on me) for school. I don¡¯t really speak to anyone and try to avoid as many conversations as possible and only do what is necessary, which is to gain an education in school. Although, I despise the life ¡®us¡¯ humans live; until adulthood you go to school to gain an education then, you get a job and get married to have children. You¡¯ll work until you eventually die from whatever might kill you, whether it be natural causes or murder. Then your children follow your footsteps to continue your ¡®legacy¡¯ and such is the life of a Human in our world and by no means is it special. After a very normal day at school, I make my way home and my apathetic expression that I¡¯ve retained throughout the day slowly slips away and turns into a grin. Why? I can go home and play several various games. Games are somewhat my own individual form of freedom; other people like to go out and stay with friends but¡ I don¡¯t like those things, I think they are a waste of time because, these ¡®friends¡¯ will eventually leave you anyway. I like to immerse myself within the thousands of various fantasies, imagining I am the character and the character is me. After, several hours of playing constantly ¨C not even blinking to consider eating - I decide to get up from my computer chair and head towards the Kitchen. You¡¯ve got to feed your stomach sometimes, no matter how much fun you are having. After eating I head back to play for another couple of hours until the nagging from my parents begin and I have to disconnect myself from my world and go to sleep for another day. Agh, another boring day at school. I don¡¯t find school hard at all and that¡¯s all thanks to my special gift which is eidetic memory. I don¡¯t really need to try to revise so I usually get quite high in the tests without having to worry as much as other students. After school, I decided to diverge from my normal curriculum which would be to go home right now and go play on my computer but, by chance I heard that there was going to be a fight between two people. haven¡¯t seen many fights due to me being somewhat anti-social; watching the fight you could tell both of them have quite some experience because, their movements were fairly refined and had some power to them. One of the Males were called Joshua and the other was Abel. To be quite fair, Joshua¡¯s movements were more refined than Abel but, on the other hand Abel possessed a bit more skill than Joshua; after several minutes of watching the two teenager trade blows; I decided to divert my attention from the main ¡®attraction¡¯ and it seems like another hooded-male was about to join in the fight. Everyone began running away but, I didn¡¯t know why; the two delinquents (Joshua and Abel) didn¡¯t seem to notice the situation and showed no signs of stopping. I decided that it was my time to step into the limelight and I headed towards them to break up the fight; stepping in-between them, I told them to stop fighting and look at the hooded man. They both glared coldly with narrowed-eyes towards the male that I was currently pointing at; after several seconds they seemingly synchronized widened their eyes and began to start shaking uncontrollably. I decided to get a closer look at the man and idiotically stepped forward to get a clearer picture; his face seemed to be shrouded by the darkness made by the hood and his clothing was all black. He had something that was silver in his hand but, -with my poor eyesight- I couldn¡¯t quite make it out; turning my head to ask the delinquents who were next to me, I noticed they were gone¡ Am I missing something? By the time, I turn around to face my attention towards the masked male; he was standing right in front of me and I felt something lunge deep into my intestines. Grunting from the collision and spitting a miniscule amount of blood up; glance down at the knife which was currently deep inside my stomach; tilting my head back towards the male in front of me; I tried to narrow my eyes and get a better look at my attacker. Glaring deep into his hood I could finally see his face; eyes that were pitch-black like the night and a sadistic smirk on his face; the man slowly twist the knife inside of me as I yelled in pain as he began to chuckle which correlated with my yelling. As the excruciating and throbbing pain continued with the knife stirring up my insides, his laugh would increase and sound more sadistic¡. Light was slowly fading away from my eyes and my strength was draining fast and my thoughts were exactly this¡ ¡° I don¡¯t want to die yet, I am a still a virgin damn it! Why am I so unlucky for this to happen to me? I want to go home and see my parents; I never got to show them how much I love them. ¡° My energy begins to fade away at a much more constant and faster pace giving up on all hope; my pupils that were once filled to the brim with energy and life were now cold and lifeless; glaring daggers towards my killer as he leaves me in my own blood. Closing my eyes, I thought to myself: ¡°I¡¯ve lived quite a horrendous life, I wouldn¡¯t say that I¡¯m physically unfit but, I never participated in any sports or events that were hosted nor did I really have any girlfriend to have any intimate relationship with¡ This is pure shit! ¡° Regret filled my mind¡ I certainly didn¡¯t want to go like this but, it seems I have no choice in the matter. I blamed and cursed my weakness with my unsuccessful attempt to play the ¡®Hero¡¯ like others would usually do in the games I play ¨C what was so pleasing about this?! Cursing my fate and my killer; I begin to start wishing nearly praying that I would get another chance at life because, I didn¡¯t want to go like this¡ Disappear forever. Closing my eyes forever, I thought to myself ¡° This is it. ¡° But, to my surprise I felt something warm touching me and my body was steadily regaining its warmth that I had when I was alive. ¡° Could it be?! ¡± questioning myself; forcing my body to try and open my eyes. I try forcefully move my head but, it seems like it won¡¯t budge and when I prevail at opening my eyes; my eyesight was blurry. ¡° A quiet baby; interesting, he has already opened his eyes¡¡± the man pauses for a moment as he continues ¡° I feel his mana is quite strong. Congratulations, my lady you¡¯ve got yourself a baby boy. ¡° the man¡¯s tone was energetic and ecstatic and he had a certain masculine bass could not be denied. ¡° Oh my darling child, I¡¯ve bore you into this world which is filled with sorrow and grief but, I pray to the Gods above that you¡¯ll be different and live a life filled with success¡ ¡° her voice was enticing and sweet; it had the motherly feeling to it; I assume this is my mother who sounds like she has gone through a lot, I don¡¯t know. If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. ¡° What is happening? Has my wished been granted to me and I¡¯ve been given another chance at life? Also, what is this about mana! ¡° I had so many questions but, every time I tried to talk I couldn¡¯t articulate my thoughts correctly; it seems that my undeveloped mouth is not allowing me to form sentences properly. My body felt weary, maybe it¡¯s because of my new born body, so I close my eyes and begin to drift off once more but, this time it was more tranquil and eventually I fall asleep. Suddenly, I receive a string of messages which appeared in my head which was quite weird but, reminded of the MMORPGs that I use to play¡
Welcome to your new life, due to sheer coincidence you¡¯ve been granted the same name as your previous life. In this world, you¡¯ll be able to do as you see fit whether it is to become a king or even a God. Although do well to remember this : ¡® Only the strongest survive as the weak perish ¡®
Seems like Darwinism to me, survival of the fittest. If that is the case, I¡¯ll just have to be much wiser with my decisions in this well¡ *Ttring* An abrupt notification disturbed my thoughts as I then decided to look at the contents of the notification¡
Granted Ability ¡° Eyes of God ¡° ( Passive / Active: Beginner Rank 1 )
Through the special actions of your previous life, you¡¯ve been granted a legendary ability which was formed from your eidetic memory and special actions of observing others. This ability allows you to activate an eye technique which is capable of copying other techniques from just watching and understanding the concepts of the technique. Mana Drain: 10 per second
Due to gaining the ability ¡° Eyes of God. ¡° Your natural eyes have changed and adapted forming a magic centre deep in you irises and pupils.
I couldn¡¯t do nothing but stare at the window with awe and surprise; I was exhilarated and I start to think to myself in a condescending manner: ¡° Let the Gods challenge me themselves; I shall surpass and destroy all obstacles that come in my way. ¡°

¡ This was the beginning of my legend. Chapter 2: My Childhood Life was going very quickly for me, let alone giving me time to try that new ability. I¡¯ve been spending this past year waking up, sleeping and eating. When, I¡¯m hungry I¡¯ll start crying to let my mother know other than that, I would stay quiet and sleep - I¡¯m trying to give her as little hassle as I could without raising any suspicion about me¡ You know, being reincarnated into her child¡¯s body. Whilst I am awake, I was able to gather a miniscule amount of information about my parents, my mother¡¯s name is Annabelle Lancaster and she is a humble farmer and tailor for our small village, my father, Arthur Lancaster, is a guard who often protects the village from the oncoming monsters, to prevent an onslaught on the village. I am proud of my parents for their humble occupations and everything they did was for this village¡ Clearly they cared for this village a lot. Other than that, I haven¡¯t been awake to gather any more information and life is quite tranquil when your life is free from trouble and you have a stunning woman feeding you. My second birthday has come and I¡¯m now two years old but, it doesn¡¯t really feel like I¡¯m two years old due to the fact there was no celebration or gathering. Just my mother¡¯s sweet voice wishing me a happy birthday and praying to the Gods for my safety. Now that my eyes have fully developed, I can now see my mother quite clearly - To my surprise my eyes can gather more detail than prior in my past life. Is it because of that skill? I wonder¡ Anyway, my mother has long hazel-brown hair up to her shoulders that compliment her hazel-brown eyes, she has a modestly curvy-figure with an average height; she seems to be around the height of 5¡¯7 and seem quite youthful. She cradles me all the time and tells me stories about my father who spends most of his time patrolling the village. I don¡¯t really get to see him as much as my mother because by the time he comes home I am already asleep. I love my mother so much; she doesn¡¯t allow me to be lonely and always shows me her caring and loving side; although I have a teenagers comprehensive abilities I tend to try do things that my body just can¡¯t handle such as climbing on the chair and when I try to do something in my small body, I would drop on my bum; it¡¯s very painful because the chair is quite high especially for this body and I can¡¯t help it but just cry. My mother usually scolds me for trying to grow-up too fast and injured myself in the process; she tries to put a stern facial expression to show she is being serious which naturally, I don¡¯t like and makes me speak out. ¡° Momma¡ Sorry ¡° my tone is apologetic, as I look down at the ground. This was all to convey how sorry I am for doing something that I shouldn¡¯t have done; my mother has shown me nothing but care and love, even now she corrects me because she wants me to grow up properly. She picks me up in her arms, rubbing her cheek on my face as she then begins to whisper something in my ears ¡° It¡¯s alright baby¡ I love you¡± retaining her caring, loving and somewhat enticing tone. I was comfortable in my mother¡¯s arms enough to fall asleep, as I would grip onto her tightly thinking to myself: ¡° I know that this peaceful life cannot continue for long; I¡¯ve got to become stronger to protect her¡ I¡¯ll do anything to protect the ones who love and cherish me¡¡± the thought stuck as an indelible memory; I was determined to do whatever it takes to accomplish my goal. Although a bit clich¨¦, I see now why people do crazy things for their family because, I now know I have a family who care for me dearly¡ Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. *Knock* *Knock* At the sound, I instantly turn my head to see who could possibly be surprised; my mother held me even tighter than before as she cautiously walked towards the door; before she could reach the door¡¯s proximity. It swung open as a male at the height of 6¡¯1 with obsidian-black hair that seemed to be tied at the back with a few hair strands hanging at the side of his face, his skin had a pale hue to it which made his face seem more refined and near to perfection albeit, he had a single scar on his face especially on his right-eye which made me assume he has been in quite a few battles. ¡°Honey ! Finally, can you come back home now? ¡° My mother yelled out as she went running into his arms with me still in her embrace; my father opened his arms as he caught my mother by the waist and lifted her up with a faint smile on his face. ¡°Yes, I can finally stay home. I¡¯ve decided that I would take a leave to see this youngster. ¡° his voice had a strong masculine bass although, quite immature and ecstatic this was probably because, he was finally able to spend some time with his family was my natural guess. He moved his right-hand to touch my nose which tickled a bit and made me giggle in glee. Wrapping his arms around my mother, I tried my best to grip onto him and we spent some time in what I would like to call, a family moment¡ This was certainly different; my mother was more than ecstatic, she was over the moon as she then decided to put me in my father¡¯s arms as she said: ¡° I¡¯m going to make the best dinner I can muster up with the finest ingredients; grown at home. ¡° winking at my father; as he chuckled heavily, holding me tighter and looked down at me. ¡°Alright, I¡¯ll bond with this young lad¡¯ He is my sole pride and joy in this world. ¡° his tone retaining its masculinity with his lips curled up into a smile with narrowed-eyes; he seems to have cerulean-blue eyes like the oceans and rivers, they were fairly attractive. ¡°Daddah!¡± I spoke in an energetic, upbeat tone as I pointed towards my father, Arthur Lancaster, who opened his mouth which formed a circle; tilting his head in an inquisitive manner as he moved his right-hand¡¯s index finger pointing at his face. I nodded my face as I thought to myself: ¡° Well, I didn¡¯t think he would be this shocked¡ Maybe, I did something I shouldn¡¯t have¡ ¡° my father rushed to swoop me up in his firm hands holding me high up above his head, he would then begin to chuckle, tears forming near his eyes as they would slowly slide down his cheeks; laughing with joy as he turns me around enough times for your average male to throw up but, he seemed really happy and it made me smile childishly, showing my teeth - which were pearly white (Thanks to my mother¡¯s care) but, had a single tooth on the right-side of my mouth not grown yet making me look like an idiot; but, I couldn¡¯t help but giggle in excitement. After that moment that I had with my father, we sat down in the kitchen which was composed of our stove, cooking-ware and a table with three chairs for each member of the family but, I tend to eat on my mother¡¯s lap. The bowls we had were simple and cupped; no designs placed on them like the nobles would usually have; we had rice with steamed-vegetables and a fair amount of meat. There was only a few words that I could use to describe the food: exquisitely mouth-watering, I could never forget the taste; it seems like my mother put in her all for my fathers return. Chapter 3: Swordsmanship Training My father was with us for another year but, he had to go back to his duty as the Village Guard after I turned four. It was nice spending some time with him, at least I now know he didn¡¯t leave my mother willingly for her to do all the hard work; he didn¡¯t have a choice if he wished to protect the village; I¡¯m proud of my father and nothing was going to change that. I planned on doing some training as soon as possible but, I think the most reasonable age for that is when I turn five years old and when I¡¯m actually able to hold a wooden sword; I¡¯m going to see if I can persuade my dad to train me in swordsmanship and get some books - I¡¯m sure they have some information about mana. Since I was now able to do most things by myself, I would occasionally help my mother clean up the house and try to make her life much easier; this was the least I could do for someone who cared about me so much, in fact unlike my other life, It was actually quite nice to do something with someone; it made me chuckle and smile to see my mother¡¯s smile get brighter. Another year flew by with me just helping my mother around the house and occasionally going on errands to sell the crops we grew in our farm; I was able to meet the villagers in the process and they seemed quite kind. None of them really stuck out as your unusual villager but, maybe that¡¯s because I didn¡¯t go everywhere within the village. I only had to sell the crops that was given to me by my mother and possibly get something I want but, I was trying to save as much money as possible; in the end my individual money amounted to a single silver coin. The currency system in this world is so basic and easy to understand: 100 Copper Coins ¨¤ 1 Silver Coin and 100 Silver Coins ¨¤ 1 Gold Coin. It¡¯s my birthday and my father was once more allowed to leave his job to stay with us; this was something that made both me and my mother happy. I¡¯ve grown so much over the few years, I wasn¡¯t actually able to move by myself without being supervised until now, so I took the chance to look at myself in the mirror that is in my room upstairs; I¡¯ve seemingly inherited both my mother and father¡¯s looks in one place or another: a pale complexion comparable to snow itself; obsidian-black hair which is straight and goes up to my shoulders, a few hair strands coming down from the sides and hazel-brown eyes. I stand a little bit taller at 3¡¯7, which is quite average if I say so but, my looks leave an excited grin on my face. ¡° Happy birthday, Daren ! ¡° my parents said synchronized lifting their hands in the air, I put on another idiotic and childish grin on my face. ¡° Thanks a lot mum and dad. ¡° trying to keep calm and composed; I would then go over to the kitchen table which had several various food laid down and prepared; they looked so delicious that it made my mouth-water but, I shook my head glaring back at my parents who were now smiling and looking down at me. Running towards them; they both went down to my height and caught me, they were hugging me so tight that I thought they would squeeze all the air out of me. My mother used her right-hand to push my hair back and kiss my forehead which is quite embarrassing and made me blush. They held me tightly and as my father told me : ¡° I¡¯m proud of you, Daren. You¡¯re the pride and joy of the Lancaster family. ¡° his masculinity deeply ingrained within his voice albeit a hint of sorrow could be heard in his voice. Looking up at him, I would give him a faint smile before saying: ¡° Dad there is something I want to talk to you about¡ I wanted to erm, learn Swordsmanship like you! I¡¯m going to become big and strong to protect you and mommy.¡± Once more, he looked shocked as he began to chuckle before removing his arms from my mother and myself then he stood up. Looking down with a smug grin on his face as I thought to myself: ¡° Oh God, this doesn¡¯t look right! ¡° He then sat on a chair whilst staring at me as he put his right hand¡¯s index finger and thumb on his chin, he began to rub his chin as if massaging it. Probably thinking about the pros and cons right? He would then get up and stroll towards me before saying: ¡° Alright, you can train swordsmanship with me for a year until, I have to go back to my duties. I am not going to go easy on you; I¡¯m going to train you like I do with the guards and you¡¯ll be training every single day with minimal breaks. ¡° I stare at him with a dumbfound expression as I thought to myself: ¡° I would think he would go a little easier on his child and he has this ecstatic expression on his face like his prepared to show me hell! This isn¡¯t normal! But¡ That is exactly what I was looking forward too, I have to become stronger. I finally get to test out some abilities. ¡° My dumbfound expression steadily changed into a small grin with my lips curving upwards. On that day, we had so much fun as my mother and father shared many of their stories with me; to my surprise (or not) my father was actually an adventurer at one point who met my mother, who has healing magic. They partied together and plundered through several, various dungeons, with their friends but, unfortunately they died in combat leaving my mother and father by themselves. After, bonding for months they started to notice their feelings for each other and that¡¯s how they got married; within one year of their marriage they decided to have a child which is me. It was quite interesting and they told me that being an adventurer isn¡¯t something that¡¯s easy or necessarily fun; you have to train hard and become wise through your journeys if you want to survive because, only the strongest survive. Other than that, my father and mother took me out to buy me some training clothes which were just leather clothing and a wooden sword which fit my hands perfectly. Apparently, they were getting ready to get me one regardless of whether I asked today or not so, it was just perfect. When we got home, I was ecstatic and excited for tomorrow where my training will begin but, I knew that I needed a good rest to regain as much energy as physically possible, so I went to sleep to have an early night. I woke up to my father who was standing in the same standard training equipment that I was going to wear; he had a faint smile on his face as he leaned back on the door. I stood up straight away as my lips curled up again and I mentally prepared myself whilst changing into my equipment. Grabbing the wooden sword that was placed in its respective sheathe tying it to my side before following my father. In all truth, I am a tad bit nervous because, I¡¯ve never held a sword for me to even know how to swing it properly but, I knew if I could activate my eye technique I maybe stood a chance. We arrived at the courtyard which had several dummies placed at the top with a grassy field which was supposedly for sparring, I¡¯m assuming. My father unsheathed his wooden-sword as he then said to me: ¡° Boy, you would want to prepare yourself. I¡¯m going to show you how to co-ordinate your body and how to swing a sword. I¡¯ll then proceed to teach you how to move when you are thrusting and slashing horizontally, vertically or diagonally and then we will finish off with how to counter attacks from their respective directions. We are going to take it slow today but, by no means does that mean you should take it easy. If I see you slacking off or not trying your hardest, I¡¯m going to smack you with my wooden sword so be aware. ¡° his tone retaining it¡¯s masculinity yet, all the immaturity or childishness that I¡¯ve heard in his voice prior was gone and he was being serious. I gulped as I inhaled deeply before exhaling; following him towards the dummies. ¡° Boy, this is how you lunge and position your body when you want to do it. ¡° before, he could possibly show the demonstration I prayed to myself this worked as I widened my eyes and shouted in my head ¡° Activate¡¾Eyes of God¡¿¡± praying that it would work; I suddenly felt my optic nerves have a burning session, as my stomach had a tugging sensation like a vacuum was pulling something out; it was a weird sensation as my eye''s magic-circle started to respond according to the sensation, becoming more opaque and my eyes that were once hazel-brown are now sanguine-red and the funniest thing about it, was the experience happened in a mere second. I now observed my father¡¯s posture as I felt my analytical, observation and comprehension abilities were enhanced tenfold. My father pushed his right-leg backwards, tilting his body forward and bringing his wooden sword to his side with both of his hand gripping the blade for maximum thrusting capability as he lunged at the dummy. Luckily for me this happened in less than three seconds and I instantly deactivated¡¾Eyes of God¡¿because of the immense drain it had on me. I was hyperventilating because, I haven¡¯t felt such weariness since, I was dying. I clutched my stomach as I felt that my ¡®mana¡¯ was being pulled from there; it was strange but, a tingling sensation. The phantom feeling was still there and it made one side of my lips curve up into a smirk. Suddenly, I gained a notification¡
Knowledge Acquired: ¡° Stance and Technique for Thrusting ¡°
Through the activation of ¡° Eyes of God ¡° you were capable of observing the proper stance and technique for thrusting; you are now capable of mimicking the technique without thinking too much as if second nature to you.
This was too awesome; I now had another childish and idiotic grin on my face as I drifted off in my own world thinking: ¡° If I¡¯m capable of analysing everything, I¡¯ll become the most powerful person! Hahaha, I am just too lucky! ¡° the thing that brought me back to reality was a smack on the head from a wooden sword as I glared upwards to see my dad looking down at me with a smirk on his face, spinning his wooden sword around with a single hand; I clutch the back of my head ¡° Ouch, Dad that hurts you know¡ ¡° Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
Vitality + 1
Through damaging your body, you was able to increase your body¡¯s vitality therefore making it much firmer and stronger than before.
Wow¡ Did my dexterity just raise from getting hit? Is the world trying to turn me into a masochist; but maybe this is why my dad does this as punishment to make my body sturdier instead of just giving me a warning but, I would prefer to avoid something like that because, if I get hit too many times I might just lose consciousness. My father cleared his throat as he said : ¡° Now try to replicate the same motion and stance I just showed you. ¡° This made me grin because, I knew I could do it but, I had to make sure to keep calm and take this training serious because, I refuse to repeat the same mistakes I made in my previous life, I''ve been given another chance and I''m going to use it to the fullest extent. Walking towards the dummy, I unsheathe my wooden sword holding it in front of me; my legs together and the sword clasped in my hands but, I noticed that it was heavy and the toll on my arms were shocking. Although, I may know how to use the sword but if it¡¯s too heavy for me what¡¯s the point of knowing how to use it, when you are just going to get fatigued from swinging it once. I knew now that no matter what I should never neglect training in anything whether it be magic, cooking, blacksmithing or swordsmanship, I must put my all into it. I closed my eyes as I went over the knowledge that my eye technique allowed me to obtain; pushing my right foot backwards, I would tilt my body clasping the wooden sword near my waist as I lunged at the dummy. My father had a proud grin on his face, ¡° Good, now I want you to repeat that 100 times; I don¡¯t care if your arms feel like they are going to drop¡ You are going to do it and you¡¯re going to engrave that movement into your body. We did have an early start, did we not? ¡° I opened my mouth in shock and nearly lost my grip on my weapon but, I realised quickly what would happen if I did drop it; holding it even tighter than before, I really don¡¯t want to get hit but, 100 times? He is my father and teacher, so I have no choice to listen to him; I close my mouth and press them into a hard thin-line, narrowing my eyes as I inhaled deeply trying to gain as much oxygen as possible before, performing what my father had told me. Lunging at the dummy non-stop made my breathing rough and sweat started forming on my forehead running down from my cheeks; the pain was nearly unbearable but I had to resist the urge to give up and continue moving forward. I did not get any notification telling me that my strength had increased which shocked me but, I guess it would be too easy to be strong if that was the case wouldn¡¯t it? My father and I continued training from the morning until the evening, the sun had set and we had already gone through all the different types of attacking methods (including countering); it was extremely exhausting especially since I had to use¡¾Eyes of God¡¿to mimic my father which I just barely made with my minuscule mana pool; then I had to practice each individual method except countering, which my father said he would do with me tomorrow in a miniature sparring match. Due to me using most of my mana and stamina - especially not being use to the feeling of pushing my mind and body to the limits, I was incomprehensibly fatigued and collapsed after my long day training. My father picked me up and carried me on his back with our wooden swords in his right-hand, carrying me home. Throughout my training I ignored the notifications because, I wanted to focus and concentrate at the task at hand. *Ttring* The sound of the notifications were now coming in as I began to read through them; I had nothing better to do since I currently couldn¡¯t even move my body.
Knowledge Acquired: ¡° Stance and Technique for Slashing ¡°
Through the activation of ¡° Eyes of God ¡° you were capable of observing the proper stance and technique for slashing vertically, horizontally and diagonally; you are now capable of mimicking the technique without thinking too much as if second nature to you.
Knowledge Acquired: ¡° Stance and Technique for Countering ¡°
Through the activation of ¡° Eyes of God ¡° you were capable of observing the proper stance and technique for countering; you are now capable of mimicking the technique without thinking too much as if second nature to you. (Although countering is dependent on several variables and can not be determined just on your skill to counter but, also determined on real battle experience and insight in the battle.)
Strength + 2
Through constant practice and straining your body to the very limits; you were able to increase your body¡¯s physical strength and can now deal stronger blows and equip heavier swords than before ergo, decreasing the fatigue on using swords that you were able to use prior.

Chapter 4: The Spar Author''s Note: Hey there, this is the Author of '' Rebirth into a Magical World. '' I''m a new author who is trying to develop various techniques and leaving a comment saying '' Thanks for the Chapter '' or '' Great Work '' would be perfect and encourages me to continue doing what I do; If you think, I''ve made a mistake or have something to improve on or just in general want to leave me a review, I encourage you to do so for me. So please do leave a review with suggestions on how I can improve because, I do read the comments and reviews. Thank you and enjoy the chapter! (I''ve made the previous chapter and this chapter two times longer than the first two chapters because, of New Years Eve and New Years. So enjoy present and happy new years!)
My father actually carried our equipment and myself back to our home! When my father got home, my mother was quite shocked to see that I collapsed. She instantly dropped what she was doing, rushing over towards us to help get me inside to help me recover. Placing me in my bed, she spent the next day tending to my injuries, using linen cloth dipped in hot war and placing it on my head; she would also use her healing magic which I have minimum knowledge about but, apparently I got better after resting and being nursed. This was all according to my father anyway but, I¡¯m really grateful to have parents that care for me albeit, my father was being a tad bit strict with my training, which kind of scared me but all ends well and I got a lot out of it anyway! I awaken from my slumber as I clasp my head tightly, reminiscing on what happened and how I got here, then I remembered what I last saw which was my father carrying me back home, then I happened to faint. I shook my head in disappointment thinking to myself: ¡° How could I have fainted on the first day of training? I¡¯m disappointed but, I¡¯ll have to make up for it next time¡ ¡° I was disturbed by a faint knocking on the door. *Knock* *Knock* ¡° Are you up, champ ? ¡° it sounded like my father, you can never miss that deep yet, caring voice. Nodding my head whilst I replied " Yes, dad. I want to continue our training as soon as possible. ¡° Entering the room, my father looked around as he slowly strolled towards the chair that was next to my bed, sitting down for a moment and narrowing his eyes, glaring at me; I didn¡¯t know why he was looking so deeply at me, I wonder what he is thinking. ¡° Alright, come have some breakfast first; then I¡¯ll think about resuming our training. We need to make sure you finish learning how to counter properly and integrate all that knowledge and training you¡¯ve done in actual combat. ¡° his tone retaining its seriousness that I heard whilst training as if he decided on something; I guess that would be whether my condition was actually fit enough to do training. ¡°Thanks a lot, dad. I think I can feel that I¡¯m improving. ¡° I chuckle lightly to break this tense atmosphere, and he smiles at me faintly. I get out of bed, feeling a few phantom-pains all over my body from where my muscles must have expanded; they were feeling a bit rigid yet, it was a nice kind of pain ¨C No, I am not a masochist. I follow him downstairs to where my mother was making breakfast and setting up the table; turning her head around she sees me coming downstairs as her face lightens up and smiles as she asked: ¡° Are you alright, Daren? I know you want to become strong but, you are still young and have a lot of time. Don¡¯t rush yourself too much, it¡¯s not good. ¡° her tone still possessing the care and love she has always had for me, I smiled as I replied ¡° Don¡¯t worry about it, mum. Thanks to you and dad, I¡¯ve gotten to full recovery. It wasn¡¯t like I was in a proper fight; it was just exhaustion and straining my muscles a tad bit. ¡° my tone was apologetic and somewhat sympathetic just to let her know that I understand her worry; she nods at me and continues serving the food. After me and my family finishing eating, we talk and converse about the strict training regimen that my father made me go through the previous day. My mother scolds him lightly whilst he laughs. It was nice and it brought a smile to my face; something that I can and will treasure for as long as I can. I shouldn¡¯t take this for granted and maybe¡ Just maybe, I should be grateful for not being born as a noble because, I would probably not have such a loving family. After our conversation, I and my father went into our respective rooms to switch into our training gear and grab our wooden swords. We then started making our way to the Guard courtyard to begin our training; hopefully, I don¡¯t have to do that tedious task of repeating slashes and lunges. When we got there, he said to me: ¡° Listen Daren, you¡¯ve done the basic training which was to know how to wield a sword; I¡¯m going to now teach you swordsmanship through combat. ¡° his tone monotone, masculine and serious. I nod my head, unsheathing my sword and pointing it towards him. Of course, I had to get ready to fight him because, who knows when he would be coming at me¡ Surprisingly, he shook his head side to side as he grinned at me before saying: ¡° Actually, I didn¡¯t go home straight away after you were unconscious¡ I went over to one of the guards who is one of my close friends and asked if his son could spar with you. He is about eight? His been training for two years or so; he should be stronger than you but don¡¯t get discouraged.¡± I sheathe my sword and smack my head as I thought to myself: ¡° How would it even be possible for me to fight someone as tall as my father ? It¡¯s ridiculous.¡± Chuckling, I nodded and turned around in the direction of the houses which were fairly down from the guard training courtyard; conveniently I see a guard in casual wear and a child in training equipment that was similar to my own. As they came close enough, I was able to see how they looked now: the father had a full head of lion-brown hair, an oval shape face with narrow-eyes which were dark brown that could easily be considered black, he stood tall at 6¡¯1 ¨C near the same height as my father; the child was spitting image of his father; the same face and hair yet, a bit longer coming down to his shoulders like my own, he stood taller than me at 4¡¯2. ¡° Hello there, James. ¡° my father grinned with his hands crossed against his torso, glaring at the guard. ¡® James ¡® responded with a nod and replied: ¡° Good morning, Arthur. I see you brought your child; isn¡¯t he a bit young? ¡° his voice was quite light and calm, glaring at my nearing the end of his sentence. My father shook his head and said ¡° Can you imagine he was the one who came up to me requesting to train him? I know he is a little bit young but, I¡¯m sure after what we did yesterday and if he truly has my blood he should be able to learn from this. His goal is not to win. ¡° he had a hint of pride in his tone with a condescending grin on his face, looking at me when he mentioned ¡®goal is not to win.¡¯ Nodding my head at my father; James began to chuckle lightly as he began to look at his child and said ¡° Introduce yourself then boy, don¡¯t stand there like a plank. ¡° the boy seemingly panicked, as he bowed to my father and nodded his head at me ¡° My name is Ben and it¡¯s nice to make your acquaintance ¡° he had a very childish and energetic demeanour and his tone correlated with just that. My father looked down at me, nodding his head at me hinting I should do the same. I smile lightly, stand up tall and push my chest out ¡° I¡¯m Daren Lancaster, it¡¯s nice to make your acquaintance as well. ¡° my tone full of pride and my eyes raging with passion; I would not be looked down at due to my age or inexperience and the best way to show my bravery and intelligence is to be proud of who I am and stand up tall. Both fathers nodded at the same time before, walking away and discussing something for a while. ¡°Hey Daren, how old are you now? You look a bit younger than me so, I wanted to know. ¡° he approached me and asked me a question; I wasn¡¯t really use to conversations nor do I want to get use to them; I¡¯ve always been anti-social and I¡¯ve only been able to talk to my parents so far. So, I responded: ¡° Five years old. ¡° blunt and straightforward, I didn¡¯t really want to encourage him to continue the conversation. ¡° I¡¯m 8 Years Old. I¡¯ve been training swordsmanship for two years now; you¡¯re training a year earlier before, when I started. ¡° he chuckled at the end of the sentence; this is getting quite annoying and one-sided. I tilt my head bemused at his continue endeavours to continue this petty conversation; I quirked an inquisitive brow contemplating on his ulterior motive. Shaking it off and exhaling deeply, I thought to myself: ¡° He is just a kid, why am I thinking that he is trying to do something. ¡° I glared at him narrowing my eyes as I said ¡° I wanted to become strong like my father; to protect my parents. That¡¯s why I decided to train a little earlier than others. ¡° he didn¡¯t seem like a bad kid nor did he have any ulterior motives that I could tell of, but responding like that made me cringe ¨C It seems like I¡¯m too use to being left to my lonesome. Our fathers came back after the petty conversation; my father stepped forward and said: ¡° Alright boys, you are going to spar each other for as long as possible. Your aim is to learn from each other and test out your training; there is no point of learning things unless you¡¯re actually going to put it to actual use. ¡° both I and Ben nodded our heads as we distanced ourselves from each other. I put my legs together, straightened my back and unsheathed my wooden sword, clasping it in my hands as tight as I could. Since, I¡¯ve got use to the tugging feeling when my mana is being drawn from my centre and the ¡®burning¡¯ sensation in my optic nerves when I activate ¡¾Eyes of God¡¿so, I planned something simple. I¡¯ll activate¡¾Eyes of God¡¿for four seconds when, I want to see his movement and I¡¯m trying to counter; that should help me in the long-run and hopefully, I¡¯ll be able to utilise the techniques I learnt efficiently to defeat him but, the only disadvantage was that I could only use the technique five times. His stance was something to look at, as it was quite unique and smart. I¡¯ve never done martial arts in my previous life, so I wasn¡¯t really able to tell the pros and cons or the openings in his stance; his right-leg was pushed backwards, his left-leg bent as he tilted his body holding his sword near his waist as if about to lunge towards me. ¡°3¡¡± ¡°2¡¡± ¡°1¡¡± ¡°Begin!¡± Ben¡¯s father, James counted down to the beginning of the match and as soon as it begun Ben dashes towards me with high-speed; as he spun flawless gathering an tremendous amount of momentum; in that time I only had enough time to activate my ¡¾Eyes of God¡¿I was able to see his maneuver gathering an extraordinary amount of momentum to swing his blade at my blindspot which was behind me utilizing turning which would have avoided any potential slashing in the forward direction. This would have worked against ordinary combatant but, luckily for me, I wasn¡¯t an ordinary combatant as I predicted the direction of the attack, I knew I didn¡¯t have enough strength to counter the attack properly; I jumped up whilst turning my body to face the attack, placing my sword in front of my torso. Ben smacked the wooden sword with a strong force, the recoil to my block was quite a bit of pain in my wrists and being pushed backwards on to the ground.
Wisdom + 1
Through good judgement, you knew that you wasn¡¯t capable of successfully countering the attack without any consequences; you therefore found an alternative method of decreasing the pain received in the form of blocking.
I quickly scan through the notification and my lips curled upwards, thinking to myself: ¡° Luckily for me, I¡¯m use to thinking with my head but, I don¡¯t need wisdom right now but, strength. ¡° I already deactivated my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿to make sure I don¡¯t go over the limit I set myself ¨C also, I would like to hide my ability as much as I could. I knew that, I stood no chance for Ben but, that didn¡¯t mean I wasn¡¯t going to give up; I pledged to myself that I¡¯ll put in all my effort into everything I do and I¡¯m not going to take that back. Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. Standing up and re-organizing myself back into my stance, I am focusing on gaining some experience in countering and blocking attacks; since I knew I couldn¡¯t really beat him. He was shocked and the distance that I flew wasn¡¯t much; using this opportunity to strike during confusion, I tilt my body and placing my sword to the height of my abdomen, I dashed towards Ben and crouched as I aimed to strike upwards to his chin. Activating my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿I glanced at his arm that was holding his sword whilst, I was in transition of standing up with a fair amount of momentum to strike his chin ¨C aiming to further disorientate him and knock him off balance so, I could send flurries of attacks his way. His muscles! They twitched and were about to react to my attack; if I roughly estimate the time it¡¯ll take for me to attack and him to strike me, is 1 second to 1.5 seconds. The damage I¡¯ll inflict and receive is too big and not worth it; I decided that I¡¯ll try my best to avoid impact. I force my body to stop moving, falling down to the ground and pushing myself off propelling myself backwards to gather some distance between me and him; yet, I was too slow he was able to hit my ankle when I dropped to the floor assuming that he was going to strike me in a crescent motion. I deactivate¡¾Eyes of God¡¿straight away, once more aiming to hide it from public knowledge and not to waste my mana any more than necessary. The mana and stamina drain is starting to get to me, as my breathing has become rough and I¡¯m panting heavily with a feeling of drowsiness but, it wasn¡¯t as bad as yesterday. My movements are a tad bit restricted due to the strike on the ankle; I¡¯ve got about two more uses of my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿but, I¡¯m going to take my chance and allow them to overlap. I¡¯m already feeling exhausted and with the way things are going I won¡¯t be able to cope. Activating¡¾Eyes of God¡¿for the final times; I exhale heavily as I was only aiming to counter incoming attacks and try to find an opening in between those strikes. I put my legs together, placing my wooden sword near the height of my abdomen pointing it in the direction of Ben. He was now dashing towards me closing the distance at a fast pace; he once again used the same maneuver previously; spinning gaining massive amounts of momentum as he was about to smack me once more, I turned into his direction once again aiming to block the attack. Watching his weapon-hand with my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿I was able to tell that he was feinting and realised he was about to change the trajectory of his attack and slash me vertically from below. I curve my lips upwards, I¡¯m going to take a risk to test my physical strength and ability to counter; timing my attack to correlate with his own attack, I tense my muscles and muster as much strength as I could, swinging my blade towards the middle of his own before it could reach my body. The swords smacked together making a smashing sound as I was able to successfully parry his attack which seemed to make his hand numb; giving me an opening to attack I took this chance to tilt my body and lunge forward spontaneously and instantaneously as fast as I could and with as much strength as I could ¨C albeit the damage being small due to me prioritizing speed over the attack, jabbing him in the abdomen catching him off guard and made him drop to one knee; surprised and shocked covered his face, Ben jumped backwards distancing himself from me. I felt something tugging at the emptiness in the center of my abdomen as my optic nerves were burning furiously; I dropped my weapon and clutched my eyes as I yelled in pain. I attempt to deactivate my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿but, it didn¡¯t work and I dropped to the ground. Once more neary fainting, the fatigue and overuse of mana must have gotten to me but, I didn¡¯t know how to explain the feeling. I just felt weary but, I still retained a shred of my consciousness; clutching onto my wooden sword using it as support to push myself up again. The thought: ¡° I will not lose this fight nor lose consciousness¡ I¡¯ll become strong and make my parents proud of me¡ ¡° I don¡¯t know where I was getting this energy from because, I was completely fatigued but determined to continue. I had to become stronger, I must grow stronger. I will protect my family and make them proud of me. I don¡¯t know when or why it became so important to me but, it just was. Suddenly, I felt a hand touch my shoulder and turning my head using the remaining energy that I had mustered up from nowhere; it was my father. He spoke in a sympathetic yet, encouraging tone ¡° It¡¯s alright champ; you¡¯ve made me so proud. This shows that you¡¯re definitely my son, just take it easy and sleep now. ¡° his words felt as if it took the weights off my shoulders, as I just collapsed but, before I fell to the ground I felt a hand clutch my stomach and I closed my eyes aiming to rest now. *Ttring* *Ttring* *Ttring* *Ttring* A string of notifications appeared in my head, I then quickly scanned them. Chapter 5: Another Perspective Author''s Note: This chapter is in another perspective; it is to bring light to how other people feel and think through the various thing that are happening and to introduce something. As normal if you have any suggestions; leave a comment and I''ll read it. Leave a Positive (with/without a suggestion), Review the overall story and don''t forget to enjoy!
Arthur Lancaster¡¯s Perspective Glaring at my child¡¯s futile efforts to achieve victory in this battle was quite interesting and at least showed me had courage and determination; as long as he isn¡¯t that abomination, I can allow him to bare the ¡® Lancaster ¡® surname with pride. The fight between them is going quite well although the major gap in experience and skill; I have to blame the ¡®Stats¡¯ and ¡®Level¡¯ difference because, of their age gap. Maybe, if they were the same age and had been training for the same amount of time maybe, my child would have been able to overcome this obstacle but, if he ever asks to become an Adventurer, I will just say that he has to beat Ben in a spar before he can leave. I snicker to myself but, I knew full well that he would be able to beat him with a little more training and refining of his skills. ¡ The fight continued for a good hour with Daren using tactics and various alternatives to come out less scathed than normally. This shows great promise and the capability of becoming something great; treasuring this information to contemplate on his future training. I continued to standby silently, glaring at my child¡¯s struggles and endeavors to become the victor in the battle; noticing that his movements were progressively becoming more distinctive and refined as the battle continued; I contemplated and thought of the best training method, which would be through Combat Experience on Weaker Monsters. It would help boost his level and overall increasing his stats. I turn my attention to James whose mouth was open in surprise and awe most likely not in his son¡¯s capability but, my own due to his small age. My lips curled upwards in pride and I turn my attention back to the fight. The fight was finally coming to an end and I decided that I would go attend to my son but, something shocking happened which made me tilt my head in an inquisitive manner, shocked and surprised. Through sheer Willpower and Determination to win the battle, my child broke through his own body¡¯s limitation and was about to continue fighting. In what might seem to a blur to everyone in my vicinity, I moved with great precision, acceleration and velocity towards my son¡¯s side. Touching his shoulder gently, I inform him that everything was alright and he made me proud. Although, I have even greater expectations for him but, this was just perfect for the beginning; telling him must have brought him relief because, all the determination and willpower that was oozing out of his persona disappeared nearly instantaneously and he was about to drop on the floor ¨C if it wasn¡¯t for me grabbing his abdomen to keep him up. Once, I had done that and declared that the sparring was finally over; Ben dropped to one knee and was panting heavily; I then glare at him, narrowing my eyes to analyse his facial expression and body language more carefully and notice that he is hyperventilating and sweating heavily. All that from someone who is younger than you, less developed than you in ¡®Stats¡¯ and ¡®Level¡¯. I shake my head in disappointment at Ben and turn my attention back to James, who was currently approaching the child that fell onto one knee. I nod my head towards them and announce the winner of the match: ¡° Well done. This sparring session is now concluded with Ben as the Winner and Daren Lancaster as the loser¡ I¡¯m quite impressed by your son¡¯s movements, James. It seems that my son has a long way to go. ¡° my tone retaining its masculinity and seriousness; although it may seem that I lied about being impressed but, truly I was. I¡¯m just ashamed it took so much out of him to cope with my son¡¯s efforts. Proudly, I carried my son on my shoulder as I see James and Ben off to their home within the settlement. I begin returning to my own home getting mentally prepared for another handful of scolding and shouting from my wife. Annabelle Lancaster¡¯s Perspective My husband and child have now returned from ¡®training¡¯ although, I think Arthur is being too harsh on Daren and should relax on the amount and difficulty of the training because, he is still young and has a lot of time to train. I¡¯m currently cooking dinner for the family because, they return around evening time from their training and I want to make sure Daren fills his stomach until he cannot eat; mother¡¯s special treatment and I chuckle at the thought, smiling gleefully at the thought of my child being happy and enjoying the food so, I put more effort and time cooking the food. In my past days, I was an adventurer with my husband and several of our friends and it was an unforgettable time which is one of my most treasured memories because of the massive amount of fun we had exploring the continent and fighting together. I remember exactly how I unlocked my deviant magic for Healing and it was during one of my most bitter and painful memories. My village was attacked by a horde of several monsters and my mother tried very hard to protect me, killing herself in the process; I screamed and cried for several hours, I thought it was impossible nor did I want to believe that she could die, I tried doing basic first aid through applying bandages and trying to keep her heart going until, I felt a heavy tug coming from my mana pool and I got a notification saying that I¡¯ve unlocked healing magic. Unfortunately, I wasn¡¯t capable of saving my mother, traumatizing myself in the process and I promised myself that I would never allow anyone who is close to me die, although elusive it was still something and that¡¯s where I began my journey to become a Legendary Healer. I hear the door open and this brings me back from my daydreaming; I see my husband with a smirk on his face and my child sleeping in his arms; shocked and surprised at the repetition from the previous day, I ran towards them offering to help; he shook his head and went upstairs. I follow and saw Arthur putting Daren into bed and kissing his forehead. I hold the door, leaning on it whilst smiling gently and watching the ¡® Father and Son Moment¡®; he then got up from the chair after watching Daren for extensive amount of time, then nodded at me and went downstairs, I followed him and ate dinner after, putting Daren¡¯s food away for when he wakes up. ¡° Why are you going so tough on him ? He is only a child and has a long time to become strong ¡° my tone inquisitively and light; I was curious and wanted to know. ¡° Remember that I¡¯m not here most of the time; I want to build a thick and strong foundation that he can build off on. One day, me and you will not be here for him; I can guarantee that. ¡° his tone much heavier and more serious than usual; with a stern expression on his face. It kind of scared me but, I decided to ask no more question and we continued to eat our meal discussing his training regimen and what he was going to do from now on¡ ¡° You want him to fight against monsters already! ¡° I knew I was overthinking and worrying for nothing but, he is my child. The only child left and I love him with all my heart; I just can¡¯t standby when my husband wants to march him to his death. Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation.¡° Annabelle¡ He is more amazing than you think; I thought that it would be a one-sided battle although, I expected for him to win even with the little resources and abilities he possess but, he was able to utilize strategies that only trained veterans would think of in the midst of combat. Remember your place and not to question what I do¡° the atmosphere was tense and his voice didn¡¯t help it any more than that albeit, he was a bit consoling. I exhale heavily; looking down at my plate and began to shake my head. Glaring back up at him with a sorrowful and worried facial expression; I said quietly and gently: ¡° Honey¡ I don¡¯t want to lose him; you even sent¡ ¡° He cut in with a mighty roar; slamming his fist on the table which made my eyes widen and my body cower in fear, as massive anger and killing intent was oozing out of his being, ¡° Do not ever. Mention his name in this house or to Daren; what I say goes and this conversation is now over; I¡¯m leaving for now. ¡° he stood up and then walked away. Tears began to stream down my eyes, as I try to weep silently as physically possible before, I hear something moving around upstairs; I move my hands as fast as possible to cover my eyes in an attempt to wipe them¡. ???¡¯s Perspective Far away in the land of the Sylphs, south of the continent and deep within the forests; I rest and train in the forests, despised and hunted by the sylphs such as Elves and Fairies for my ¡®crimes¡¯; such as hunting and destroying the forest; I don¡¯t care though. Hunt me and be killed. Follow me and be killed. Approach me and be killed. I do have exceptions and I¡¯m not a mass murderer but, they are very few. Luxuriant, sleek obsidian-black hair that reaches my shoulders; a chiseled, thin face with an unlined, pale complexion, the definition of masculinity and good-looks. Through the grey coat that covers my mouth, nothing else can be seen below my nose; narrow, hazel-brown eyes that possess a sharp and cold glare; on his back a katana sheathe horizontally placed on his waist coloured in royal-purple with a purple hilt. Hiding silently in the vast bushes inside the forest, as he observed and watched his prey; a bear covered in thick, fuzzy brown fur, it prowled around looking for smaller prey to feed on. It prowled with a sense of dignity and pride on its four-paws, noticing a small squirrel like animal it began to accelerate its pace until, turning into a sprint in order to catch its prey; the squirrel noticing the presence of the larger animal decided to drop what it was holding and run-away in an attempt to escape but, it failed in the end and was caught by the bear. My natural instinct made my body twitch, informing me that it was time for me to strike whilst it was distracted; I unsheathed my katana silently, clutching the hilt tightly so the blade was facing my shoulder. I brought the blade close to my face using my left-hand to propel myself forward, rotating my body with relentless force making me spin in a circular motion; the bear aware of his attacker turned his attention but, it was already too late. The blade swiftly and cleanly decapitated the bear as blood started spraying upwards and its head dropped to the side. Grabbing the head of the bear with my left-hand, I glared into the eyes of the bear ¨C which was lifeless and I smirked sadistically muttering: ¡° ¡ You¡¯re my prey like that squirrel was yours. Don¡¯t be so weak in the next life. ¡° my tone cold and serious. Sheathing the katana back into its respective sheathe; I exhaled heavily and glanced at my ring. ¡°Identify¡±

Chapter 6: Combat Experience Author¡¯s Note: I was informed of my silly decision of keeping the stats of Daren the same so, I decided due to his infancy stage where all of his stats were 1 (or 10 in Intelligence/ Wisdom) also I stupidly put in one of the chapters Dexterity + 1 from being hit so, I added that point to Vitality and changed the chapter; so I¡¯m going to increase all his stats by 4/5 which would make his base stats 5 ¨C whilst the normal base stats are 10 and I¡¯ll explain that later within in the story; apologies for the slow releases due to school, I haven¡¯t really gotten much time to be writing but, I promise when I get a chance you¡¯ll be getting a massive chunk of chapters to serve my readers justice. Remember to Review, Comment and Suggestion and Leave a positive! - It encourages me to keep on writing.

Daren Lancaster¡¯s Perspective I finally woke up, I need to stop fainting after I¡¯ve gone through hard training or fighting because, it certainly won¡¯t help me in the future; when I¡¯m on adventures or fighting very difficult people but, I think that ¡® Willpower ¡® stat should help me from now on. I hear shouting and banging downstairs and was curious to what was happening. I tried to force my body to stand up and go downstairs but, I was unsuccessful in my attempt; sitting down on my bed in silence, I can hear silent whimpers and couldn¡¯t handle the tension which led to my curiosity overwhelming the current pain I¡¯m feeling in my legs. Standing up, I try to move towards the door which seemed so far away and my feet were steadily getting heavier creating a lot of noise when I moved. I finally got to the stairs and then made my way downstairs; noticing that my mother was clutching her eyes and silently whimpering. I approach her and said: ¡° Mother why are you crying? What is wrong¡? Did something happen with dad? ¡° my tone inquisitive and sympathetic, my eyebrows shaping into a frown; surely dad wouldn¡¯t want to make mum upset from what I¡¯ve seen, he is as caring and loving like mother. Shaking her head gently as she wiped the tears underneath her eyes which looked a little darker than normal ¨C most likely from the crying; turning her head to me and hugging me tightly which leaves me puzzled. Kissing my forehead, she tells me: ¡° Your Father has not done anything; I was just thinking about the past. You¡¯ll know one day. ¡° her tone still having signs that she has been crying yet, trying to pull a vague smile on her face. I nod my head and she points towards the food that she left for me; when I go retrieve it, I turn around and notice she wasn¡¯t at the table anymore and steadily making her way upstairs. I best leave her to her own devices, something is certainly plaguing her mind and I don¡¯t think I can help right now; I have to become stronger and wiser to make sure my mother never has to suffer like this¡ Ever. After eating, I notice that I¡¯ve only been resting for a few hours since the spar and I decided that I would sleep until the next period of training with my father; I was quite excited due to the few abilities that I¡¯ve got, certainly I can now put up a fight on top of that with my swordsmanship that I¡¯ve earned through hard work. Including my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿and¡¾Battle Foresight¡¿I¡¯m sure I can be considered a challenge now; anyway after finishing eating, I prayed to whatever God(s) my mother keeps so dearly to her heart, asking them to guide and protect my mother; then head to my room to sleep until tomorrow morning. This time around, I was awoken by my father who was fully equipped but instead of his usual social and friendly demeanour; I was met by a somewhat-cold and stern one. I got up and got ready silently before, following him outside. Instead of our usual walk upwards to the Guard Courtyard, we were walking towards the exit of the settlement where your usual low-level monsters where (like Slimes and Wolves), looking up towards my father with a bemused expression and said: ¡° Father, why are we going outside of the village? Aren¡¯t there monsters? ¡° Looking down at me still retaining his stern expression as he told me: ¡° Yes there are monsters, this is your next set of training. I¡¯m going to be making sure that you are strong enough to protect yourself in the foreseeable future. ¡° he smirked at me which eased the tense atmosphere quite a bit and I returned the childish, gleeful smile back to him. We walked for several minutes before, approaching a small forest which my father then muttered underneath his breath without glancing at me: ¡° We are going to be hunting, wolves today. I¡¯ve got my specific reasons and I think that the best way of training you would be through combat experience. ¡° a smirk appeared on his face before, he continued to walk on urging me to follow. Walking deeper and deeper into the forest, the sunlight was becoming dimmer before, near to non-existent but luckily for me, my eyes adapted nearly instantaneously but not perfectly became similar to night-vision goggles. ¡°Can you see them?¡± my father bent his body as he began to sneak silently in near perfection which left me in awe of his sneaking skills; I followed his lead and carefully watched my step as I followed him. Narrowing my eyes to see what he was looking at; I momentarily activated¡¾Eyes of God¡¿to see what he was talking about; I see a pack of five wolves as they were furiously feasting on several rabbits. Glancing at my father after deactivating¡¾Eyes of God¡¿I gulp and asked him: ¡° Yeah, I can see them; why¡¯d you ask ? ¡° looking down at me with a sadistic smile, he then whistles so loudly I thought my ears were about to fall off. After, I recover from the loud whistling; I notice my situation turning to face my father¡ He disappeared. Why the fuck would he do this? Unfortunately, I¡¯m going to have to face these wolves by myself as they growl underneath this breath slowly strolling towards me on all fours; they steadily surround me in a 360 angle. My thoughts were muddled up and my heart started beating much faster; I was hyperventilating as I unsheathed my trusty wooden-sword holding it like I¡¯ve never done swordsmanship training before, my stance was messed up and I kept on turning around to look at the wolves that were growling in all directions. My head started to spinand I was puzzled at what I was supposed to do; fighting with a human was much easier because, they weren¡¯t oozing massive killing but, this time¡ No one was here to save me and no one would know if I died here. Activating¡¾Eyes of God¡¿I try to realign my thoughts and prepare for combat because, I came to a realization that they would attack me regardless if I was prepared or not; moving back into my stance putting my feet together, standing up straight and clutching my sword¡¯s hilt with both of my hands glaring at the opponent in front of me. Arthur Lancaster¡¯s Perspective As soon as I whistled, I used my speed and distraction to swiftly and silently climb up a tree that was beside Daren; I had to make sure it seemed as if I deserted him to make him think that he is by himself. If someone was to continuously look after you and watch over you like a hawk; how could you develop true battle sense? You have to fight like your life depended on it because, surely you¡¯ll not be with your guardian for all of your life. Watching my son chaotically and anxiously turn himself around to face the several wolves who smartly surrounded him; I thought to myself: ¡° Is he truly my son ? With the way he is reacting, I don¡¯t think he can ever become a warrior... Although, he is quite young.¡± Although, I must admit that my thoughts wasn¡¯t fatherly but, he wanted to be trained and that is exactly what he is going to get; if he can¡¯t overcome this obstacle, he should just stay in the village and become one of those simpletons such as Farmers, Blacksmiths and etc. This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it Glaring at my son; I notice that he stopped moving completely turning around in a direction that I could see his fac; he then closed his eyes going back to his usual stance which made me unconsciously nod my head in approval of his actions and he then opened his eyes ¡! Daren¡¯s iris slowly turned sanguine-red as a white magic-circle began to steadily become more opaque and visible¡ I didn¡¯t know my son had something like this; this is going to be interesting¡ Daren Lancaster¡¯s Perspective
Ability Gained ¡°Battle Steady¡± (Passive)
Through your realization and otherworldly reason; you¡¯ve noticed that staying in dismay and panic in battle could lead to your untimed death; you¡¯ve now gained the resistance to be moved emotionally or feel panic during battle. - This works unless a massive amount of a certain emotion overwhelms your mind; disabling this passive. - This passive cannot be increased or levelled
Dismissing the notification; I glanced at the wolves slowly rotating around calmly counting the number of opponents who beat me in quantity 5 : 1. Trying to recall the feeling of mana being pulled at in my abdomen when my mana was used to activate my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿in an attempt to manipulate that feeling to feel the life force in my surroundings¡
Ability Gained ¡°Sense Presence¡± (Active: Basic Rank 1)
Through the attempt to weave your mana outside of your body; to record the existence of other living beings with mana; you¡¯ve gained the ability to sense the presence of those around you in a limited distance. 5 Mana per second - You can only sense the existence of those with mana around you in a 5m circumference - Circumference increases as your proficiency with this skill increases
Quickly scanning over the contents of the notification; a grin slowly appeared on my face before, I activated¡¾Sense Presence¡¿which allowed me to feel all the wolves within the circumference of my prowess which was luckily all of them; maybe that¡¯s because I was so focused on sensing the ones around me, my body adapted and formed a skill which allowed me to sense just around the needed distance. The wolf at 260 degrees clockwise was running towards me at a high speed; which would take about 3s to reach me but, for me to turn around would take 4s so, I decided to go anti-clockwise which took me about 2s with my speed compared to the wolf; it then pounced at me which I responded by moving to the side and then turned to its direction as it landed on the floor smacking my wooden sword with as much strength that I could muster aiming to gain minimal fatigue as it looked dazed for a second; taking this advantage I changed my stance according to my father¡¯s teaching and lunged towards the rib-cage of the wolf¡ Interrupted by another wolf who was exactly behind me; running at the same speed as the previous wolf to save his pack-member. It took three seconds for it to reach me but, I reacted within two seconds aiming to slash horizontally at its jaw but, then I could sense the three wolves moving in through their excessive, loud growling. ¡° I have to escape getting cornered, else this can end very badly. ¡° I thought to myself. Jumping backwards to avoid being surrounded and cornered by the wolves; I could see the minuscule impact I made on one of the wolves being barely injured from my head attack but, I can finally see that being calm and composed wins the fight albeit, all the damage that I was doing was blunt. In what seemed like an instant, I see four of the wolves head slide off which left me bemused and in veneration¡ Turning to see my father that was by my side smiling at me with blood dripping from his wooden-sword which radiated with intensity and glaring at it with my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿made me feel as if I was going to faint. ¡° Dad, what is that dense aura around your sword ? ¡° I spoke in an inquisitive manner before, he looked me with shock and replied: ¡° That my boy, is imbuing mana into a weapon; this is what you do¡ You begin to channel your mana through your mana veins to whatever hand is holding the weapon; then you allow it to flow into your weapon as if an extension to your arm and you maintain that feeling trying to shape it to your will; in this case I¡¯m trying to sharpen the blade and strengthen the durability and hardness of the weapon. ¡° he said with a smirk; whilst speaking he retracted the augmentation then went through the process of imbuing his mana into his weapon, to show me how he did so. I watched carefully, trying to picture the process as knowledge started to flood into me.
Ability Learned ¡°Mana Enhance¡± (Active: Basic Rank 1)
Through observing the action of imbuing mana into a weapon with the¡¾Eyes of God¡¿and understanding the process of the augmentation. You¡¯ve learned how to replicate the process sufficiently and nearly flawlessly. 5 Mana per second - You¡¯re capable of imbuing mana into a sword increasing its hardness and sharpness - As you increase your proficiency with this technique, you¡¯ll be able to imbue your mana with things which are virtually near-impossible to imbue your mana into and it¡¯s efficiency increases
Ability Gained ¡°Mana Manipulation¡± (Passive: Basic Rank 1)
Through understanding the process and observing the process with ¡¾Eyes of God¡¿and mentally imaging the process you are now capable of manipulating mana on a very basic level; which are one of the perquisites to utilize magic.
I smirk at the notifications I gained and requested to my father if I could handle the wolf in front of me and he then sheathed his sword whilst replying: ¡° I always intended to do that, else I would¡¯ve killed them all. I have high expectations for you, meet them Daren. ¡° his tone retaining its seriousness. Surprisingly, the wolf hadn¡¯t attacked us before now but, glaring at it now it seemed to be mourning and whimpering over the death of his pack; now glaring at me with rage and sorrow whilst growling much louder than before. ¡° It seems angry at me¡ It¡¯s now or never. ¡° I thought to myself, as I was channeling my mana through my mana veins which I could feel that there was a lot of them and began to try enhance my wooden sword with it which was fairly hard but, I succeeded and my blade was now coated in a gold lustre which looked mesmerizing but, excessively draining instead of maintaining the swords shape and humbly enhancing it; it seemed like I was showing off and wasting mana unnecessarily which pissed me off but, I couldn¡¯t do nothing about it. I got back into my stance as I notice my father has once more disappeared. I focus once more on my previous skills giving all my attention to the wolf in front of me; thinking about my¡¾Battle Foresight¡¿and activating¡¾Sense Presence¡¿as an insurance, in case he gets behind me. This was the battle that was going to decide whether my progression, halts or continues¡ Chapter 7: New Abilities I stand in front of the wolf; through my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿and¡¾Battle Foresight¡¿I¡¯m capable of predicting the wolf¡¯s movements but, the most tedious and annoying part is that I¡¯m not capable of reacting on time to those predictions due to my current ability but, I¡¯ll try to use alternative methods like before. Right now, the wolf is glaring at me with an intense killing intent whilst growling underneath its breath; it is on all four pushing his bum upwards and bending his front two paws, whilst his torso is being pushed down. I¡¯m clutching my wooden sword with both of my hands and my feet placed together; using¡¾Mana Enhance¡¿was fairly draining and I knew I had a minute at most to end this. A green line appeared aiming for my head; assuming that this was my¡¾Battle Foresight¡¿ability to predict where the wolf was going, it then began to gallop towards me with might and power; raising my wooden sword above my head which was coated in a golden lustre albeit, mentally and spiritually draining I knew this was one of the only things that would allow me to harm the wolf. Approaching a suitable attacking distance for itself; it glared upwards and spontaneously pounced upwards trying to aim for my head; using my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿to help with my reaction-time, I swing downwards aiming to cut the head of the wolf but, it seemed to notice my attack and reacted through mid-air turning it¡¯s trajectory to my side which even caught me off by surprise. A red line appeared towards the side of my torso and I could only assume that was bad; the wolf landed on the ground faster than I could recover from my attack and smashing its head into my side making me move quite a distance but, I still remained adamant to not release my sword because, that is when I¡¯ll lose my chance to survive; spitting up some blood, I use my wooden sword as support to stand up. Noticing that my sword¡¯s aura was steadily getting dimmer and my fatigue slowly creeping up on me; I think to myself: ¡° I don¡¯t have much time to win this fight but¡ I¡¯ll make do with what I have.¡± Getting back into my stance, I then see an orange line aiming for my leg and I notice the wolf galloping with might and power which pissed me off because, it seemed it was undermining my prowess. Timing my reaction once more with my¡¾Eyes of God¡¿when It attempted to attack me head-on, I turn my body 90 degrees clock-wise so I am now facing the side of the wolf; I then swing my blade in a crescent movement aiming to cut the stomach releasing my¡¾Mana Enhance¡¿which overall weakens the blade but, give it¡¯s blunt properties back as I was aiming to wind the wolf which was successful; when my wooden sword collided with its stomach I could feel the resistance and the pain of my blade¡¯s hilt pushing into my skin which was uncomfortable but, determined to exert my full strength, I didn¡¯t let go.
Agility + 1
Through foreseeing the wolf¡¯s actions and taking that into account; you were able to successfully manoeuvre to the side avoiding potential damage.
Dexterity + 1
Through the successful manipulation of your swordsmanship techniques and through withstanding the pain from inflicting damage in combat; your overall dexterity has increased.
Dismissing the notifications; I turn my attention back to the wolf who was currently winded which gave me an opening to inflict a flurry of attacks; activating my¡¾Mana Enhance¡¿once more coating my wooden sword in a gold lustre, I then raise the sword above my head again and slashing downwards spontaneously, exerting an efficient amount of strength with the aim of inflicting damage on the torso of the wolf; I could feel the resistance of the wolf¡¯s ribcage and muscles but, I didn¡¯t stop with the aim of cutting it in half but due to my tiny strength I could only deal a limited amount of damage. Noticing an orange line aiming at my hands, my eyes widened and noticed I shouldn¡¯t take out any more risks than normal; increasing the strength of my¡¾Mana Enhance¡¿to make it easier for me to slip my sword out of the torso then I jumped backwards; panting heavily from the mana drain and fatigue which was like a veil which was slowly restricting my movements. The wolf squealed in pain and began to growl; I glare at with my sanguine-red eyes and in my stance that I deviated from my father¡¯s teachings. It allowed me to switch to the various stances or allows me to move spontaneously for piercing or slashing horizontally/vertically; its much easier than what my father showed me, probably my eyes helped me adapt. This fight is getting too long and I¡¯m starting to feel exhaustion from it. I glare at the wolf as I begin to change my stance; pushing my right-foot backwards and bending my left-knee whilst moving the wooden sword to my waist in a piercing motion. I¡¯ve got mana for about 30 seconds and I¡¯m going to make that into 20; I begin to pour a lot of mana into my¡¾Mana Enhance¡¿the golden lustre which was surrounding the blade began to get bigger and denser; I try to control the shape through picturing and breath-control. The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Ability Gained ¡°Mana Control¡± (Passive: Basic Rank 1)
Through your successful attempt to manipulate and control the mana that flows through your body and how it forms outside of your body; you¡¯ve gained the passive skill Mana Control; the ability to control mana to a limited extent but, as you progress through the ranks you will become more skilled and able to manipulate your mana more efficiently. (This is the final perquisite to learn magic and you¡¯ve unlocked it! You now have the capability of learning magic.)
I dismiss the notification because, I don¡¯t have time to be reading it at the moment; I begin to gather momentum to dash towards the wolf but, it must have noticed this as the final exchange as it ran with a gallop that was even mightier force than before, leaving an imprint of the its paw on the floor. The wolf opens its mouth to reveal several fangs, seeing a red line aiming at my hands, I know that I¡¯m not going to be able to dodge this but, it was inevitable to come out unscathed but, I¡¯m sure I won¡¯t allow this to be the outcome. I slow down my momentum immensely and I then turned my sword horizontal touching the blade with my left-hand and holding the hilt tightly with my right-hand; the line became green and aimed for my blade¡ It bit down on the wooden sword which was covered in my aura and I had about a few seconds left; I was going to make this count definitely. I exert all my strength as I try to cut its mouth and possibly dislocate his jaw; in an attempt I cut its mouth widely and free my wooden sword; I then notice a red line aiming for my chest as the wolf then head-butted it making me feel as if it was caving in; coughing blood, I land on the floor glaring at the wolf with shame. It slowly approached me with its growling non-existent due to its jaw being dislocated and cut; its eyes filled with hate and anger; slowly making its way to me with each step its foot leaving its imprint on the forest, on the world. It came to a halt above me and then glared at me with it¡¯s hot breath blowing on my face. I felt panic and unease, I couldn¡¯t move¡ It suddenly collapsed and dropped on me; leaving it¡¯s blood on my body also, leaving me in shock and awe at the sight.
Analysing Existence¡
I waited for a few several seconds; not knowing what was happening as my eyes uncontrollably looked at each part of the wolf that laid in front of me.

A black whirlpool similar to a vacuum formed near my right-eye which automatically activated into¡¾Eyes of God¡¿and making me yell in pain; as the wolf was slowly turned into a thin black obsidian-line sucked into my eye and all the knowledge came flooding into my head; making me grasp my head and look down at the ground, panting heavily for air.

Chapter 8: Suspicion and Beginning An uncontrollable tingling sensation surged throughout my body and I could feel something growing; I didn¡¯t know what it was but, the feeling was quite unusual - something I had not experienced in my previous life or this life but, after the feeling was gone. I inhaled once and I could smell a variety of things but, what I noticed that the iron-smell of blood was missing. I noticed that a trail of blood was coming from my right-eye but, I knew this was all due to the new trait I received ¡¾Enhanced Smell¡¿the feeling was amazing and once more, I inhaled the air in order to locate my dad as the amount of times he had held me were uncountable, I¡¯m use to his smell. Turning backwards, I would see my father and give him a faint smile. He rushed towards me and brought me into my embrace, moving his right-hand he would ruffle my hair and say: ¡°You¡¯ve done well champ but¡ That strange thing you did, you took the corpse of the wolf and something happened. There is something different about you.¡± Initially his tone was filled with pride and joy but, as he continued to talk he adopted an inquisitive and bemused tone suggesting he was curious as to what happened; this caused me to gulp instinctively knowing that the cat was out of the bag ¨C no point in trying to hide things. Before, he could scold me or think something was off, I took the initiative to speak: ¡°Dad, That was becau-¡° He abruptly started to laugh and ruffle my hair in a more aggressive manner before, giving me a toothy grin. ¡°Champ¡¯ everyone has their own secrets, even I have my own secrets. You just need to tell me your achievement¡¯s of the battle whilst we are going home; the forest ain¡¯t too far from the settlement and we are just in the outskirts. We should be on time for dinner, don¡¯t ya¡¯ think?¡± his masculine voice had a soothing feeling to it, it seems like he doesn¡¯t want me to feel uncomfortable and appreciate that. I glare upwards towards his face and give him a toothy grin as well, my cheeks blushing brighter than ever before ¡°Yeah, let¡¯s do that dad¡± Nodding his head, he began to walk off towards home; I jog a bit to catch up to him ¨C Thinking back to the fight, I thought: ¡°When my dad showed me an example; I just realized he was able to use mana and his skill at fighting can¡¯t be considered just ¡®veteran¡¯, is it really because Dad was an adventurer in the past? I couldn¡¯t help but think he is hiding something and he is moving a bit odd but, oh well. ¡° dismissing the thoughts, I followed my father towards our home. ¡ When, we arrived in the settlement and approached the house, I felt an uneasy tension in the atmosphere whereas my dad abruptly stopped moving. ¡°Go ahead of me champ¡¯, tell your mother that I¡¯ll be home soon. Just got to pick some stuff up for you.¡± He winks at me then turns the other direction and begins to walk towards the Shopping district, Placing my thumb and index finger, I adopt an inquisitive countenance and wonder why of all times would he decide to go ¡®Shopping¡¯ dismissing the idea once more, I move my hand to open the door but, before I could reach the door it swings open and my mother swiftly brings me into her embrace. This leaves me in a shocked-state and I just accept it, hugging her back. ¡°You seem perfectly well, Daren. I¡¯m happy for once you are not coming home after, fainting or falling asleep.¡± Her voice was soft and soothing, it brought an unprecedented sense of peace to my mind and it felt exactly how it looked ¨C a young child in the embrace of his mother, I couldn¡¯t conduct my thoughts correctly and could only meet her motherly love with a childish smile. Looking at her visage, she had bags underneath her eyes and her eyes seemed moist; furrowing my eyebrows I couldn¡¯t help but think there was something going on and I inquired exactly the thoughts that were flying around in my head: ¡°Mother¡. It seems that something is troubling you and making you sad. I¡¯ve noticed this before, please tell me what is wrong.¡± My tone contained an extraordinary amount of sympathy, the thought that my mother was silently suffering by herself made my heartache. Shaking her head, she then smiled at me wryly before picking me up from the ground and carrying me inside the house. She then left me to sit at the dining table before bringing me the food she had long prepared for me. The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. ¡°Where is your father, Daren?¡± her voice sounded fragile and quiet but paying no attention, I continued to swing my leg underneath the table whilst replying: ¡°He said that he wanted to get something from the shopping district for me.¡± Whilst happily eating and enjoying the time in my mother¡¯s presence which calmed me down and allowed me to temporarily forget about my initial goal to become stronger. ¡°Oh¡ Alright¡± her tone weak and her words made it seem as if she was going to break and burst into tears; this made me furrow my eyebrows in thought and anger ¨C something was going on between his mother and father, if he couldn¡¯t realise this someone who has the¡¾Eyes of God¡¿is definitely not only blind but a fool. But the problem is that, my father acts oblivious to what is happening and my mother swallows her emotions ¨C refusing to tell me about what is going on. After an extensive time ¨C about an hour or two, a series of knocking on the door disturbs the mother and Childs bonding time. My mother shudders for a moment which I was able to catch in the corner of my eye; spontaneously getting up and opening the door, as to my father with an exuberant and amiable countenance appeared ¨C kissing my mother on the cheek before approaching me with big steps. Diverting my attention to the parcel which was held in his hand, I raised an eyebrow whilst thinking about what could be in the parcel. He then held the parcel in both hands and pushed it forward to my direction and said with a big grin on his visage: ¡°Here you go champ¡¯, this is for you.¡± The parcel was not necessarily small in size and it left me glaring at it in deep contemplation for a while, which was abruptly disrupted by father urging me to open the parcel. Soon after I decided to fall into the temptation and hurriedly open the package and placed it on the table, as I open the parcel I see numerous clothing and numerous armoured equipment. Taking out each individual equipment I see: a tight, sleeveless black shirt and a slim trousers similar to colour as the shirt ¨C slightly baggy at the top allowing for smooth movement and cuffed at the bottom to make sure my movement wasn¡¯t hindered and black gloves made of leather. Glancing at my father, he would then throw a belt holster with an exuberant countenance and after a few moments place a sheathed weapon onto the table. Glaring at the clothing and weaponry, I could do nothing but think of his intentions which I couldn¡¯t fathom as he had never giving me equipment so profound and expensive to keep for myself. ¡° From tomorrow on you¡¯ll begin your advance training of hunting beasts and learning how to survive in the forest and on the move ¨C you¡¯ll definitely need it in the future. ¡° whilst I was trying to think of the reasons as to why he allowed me to have equipment, my father¡¯s masculine and somewhat serious voice rang out answering the numerous questions I had yet, he seemed to mutter something underneath his breath which I was barely able to hear and gave off numerous implications which the first assumption of mine was that he meant I was going to become an adventurer or something yet, an impending sense of doom and death seemed to linger as he spoke those words. Struggling them off, I aimed to please and met his words with a smile. Author¡¯s Note: This summer has been very hard and busy for me due to numerous reasons but I do plan to find time to continue writing and I don¡¯t plan to do less than once per week ¨C ill try to squeeze in three weekly but here is the new chapter.
