    It was back in the past, a young girl with shoulder length blonde hair was sniffling and rubbing her eyes as she cried, in front of her was a group of boys, the boys in the group were obviously older then her as their being bigger and taller then her told her. She had just come out from her house to go to the park and play but, when the group of boys noticed her they quickly cornered her and started picking on her. They teased her for her short stature, they teased her for her blonde hair which, was seen as weird in the town she lived in, the girl had moved to Japan with her mother after the death of her father. Her mother was Japanese while her father was full blooded American, she inherited her mothers short stature but, she inherited her fathers hair and bright blue eyes.


    The boys pointed at her, the laughed and taunted her, they tugged her hair which caused pain to shoot through her skull, she tried to fight them off but, the three boys overpowered her, they''d knock her down every time she tried to fight them. Her clothes were dirty, her face as well, her body ached from head to toe seeing as there was no way that she could fight the boys off the girl was left with only one thing to do, cry and cry until someone brave enough came along and helped her. The girl must have cried and hoped for hours, nobody was coming to save her, she was going to be at the mercy of the group of boys then, just as she had started to give up hope someone finally came along.


    She heard someone yell, "Hey! What the hell do you boys think your doing!?" the blonde and the group of boys looked to where the yell came from, standing there staring at them with her arms crossed was another girl, she had messy shoulder length reddish brown hair and she seemed to be wearing what looked like boys clothes. The group of boys had been scared at first but, when they saw the one before them was a girl they started to laugh, one boy walked over to her, he smirked really cocky he was obviously the leader of the group, "Why don''t you go home and mind your own business, Red" he teased, the other boys snickered. The other girl grumbled, "How about, you assholes go home, and leave the cutie alone" the blonde blushed, "Cutie?! Me?!" the boys started laughing again, "What makes you think we''re going to stop because you told us to?" the other girl smirked "Cause, if you don''t, I''m going to kick your butts" she then cracked her knuckles.


    The blonde gasped, "No! don''t fight them! They''re boys! You''ll get really hurt!" the blonde pleaded but, it seemed the other girl wasn''t listening to her, she looked at the blonde and smiled brightly and winked at her "Don''t worry, I''ll be fine, I''m not going to leave a cutie like you to the mercy of these bastards" the boys growled in anger. "What did you just call us!?" they shouted in unison, the other girl looked at them with a confident smirk "You heard me, I didn''t stutter" the boys grumbled, the one in front of her clenched his fists "Your going to pay for saying something like that!" he threw up his fists. The other boys started to cheer, "Yeah! You teach her a lesson Shuji!" one of them yelled, "Make that crossdresser sorry!" another yelled, that made the boys start to laugh.


    But, the other girl wasn''t laughing, she was more pissed off then amused, she clenched her fists "What the hell did you just call me?" the boy in front of her and smirked, "Oh, did that hurt? Does the crossdresser not like to be called a crossdre-" amidst the laughter the other girl threw a punch that connected with the boys nose and cut him off mid-sentence. The boy fell to the ground and cried, he held his nose that was hurting like hell and bleeding through the cracks in-between his fingers, the boys friends ran over to him, "I''m Not A Crossdresser!" the other girl shouted. The other boys looked at the girl and cowered, she had just caused the leader of their group to start crying after one hit, they didn''t want to mess with that "Come on guys! Lets get out of here" one suggested. The other boys nodded in agreement, the helped there leader up off the ground as he continued to cry and groan and hold his bloody nose and waked off without looking back.


    The other girl grumbled, "Humph, they''re not so tough when they''re leader goes down like a wimp" she sighed and turned and looked at the blonde with a smile, "You okay? Did those guys hurt you bad?" the other girl walked over to the blonde. The blonde stood there, she was in awe of what the other girl had just done, she had made a group of boys that was probably older and definitely bigger then her run off. She was so mesmerized that she wasn''t listening to what her savior was saying, the other girl placed a hand on her shoulder which brought her attention to her, "I asked if you were okay" the other girl smiled, the blonde blushed "Yeah, I''m fine" she looked away flustered. The other girl was put off by how the blonde wasn''t looking at her, she grumbled, "Come on, if your not hurt bad why aren''t you looking at me?" the blonde fidgeted her feet "Uhm, okay" the blonde said meekly.


    The blonde looked at the other girl whos face flushed red, "Wow, I could tell you were cute from far away, but, your even cuter up close" the blonde blushed "Me..Me Cute!?" the other girl nodded "Yeah, really cute in fact" the two girls stared into each others eyes. Both there hearts started to pound in their young chest, the other girl coughed, "Well, I''m glad your okay" the blonde went into a fluster, she bowed to the other girl "Yes! And thank you for rescuing me!" the blonde smiled brightly. This caused the other girl to turn away, she took in deep breaths, "Man, this girl is really cute!" she mumbled "Uhm, are you okay?" came the concerned tone of the blonde, the other girl looked back and smiled and laughed nervously and scratched her cheek. "Uh, Yeah, I''m okay" the blonde smiled "Oh, good" the other girls face flushed darker.


    "Uhm, so, I''m going to go now" she started to walk away, the blonde gasped and ran in front of her making her stop in her tracks, "Uhm, is there something else?" the blonde fiddled with her fingers, "Uhm, well, I was wondering if you''d like to go to the park together and play?" the other girl had a look of shock on her face. The blonde frowned, "Oh, do you not want to?" the other girl shuddered, she couldn''t take the blondes sad face, "No! I''d be happy to go to the park and play with you!" she smiled, a small smile appeared in the corner of the blondes mouth "Really?" the other girl blushed. "Just how cute can this girl get!" she mentally shouted the look the blonde was giving her made her head nod unconsciously, the blonde smiled brightly and clapped her hands together "Yay! Come on! Let go!" with that she took hold of the other girls hand and started running, pulling her along.


    The blonde giggled as she ran hand in hand with the other girl, a look of realization crossed her face as she ran, she looked back at the other girl "I''m sorry, I forgot to ask your name" the other girl smiled "My name Rina, Mazuki Rina, you can just call me Rina though" the blonde nodded. She smiled as she took in the information, she giggled, "Nice to meet you Rina-chan, my name Miyaki, Miyaki Ogura" the girl name Rina was a bit surprised by the masculine name the blonde had but, she gave a smile, "It''s nice to meet you Miyaki-chan" the blonde named Miyaki smiled. The two then ran off down the street together after that fateful meeting, the two girls became the best of friends. They did everything together, they played, they did homework, they went to festivals, Miyaki and Rina inseparable, they went to the same elementary school, they went to the same middle school and in that time some of Rina''s personality had rubbed off on Miyaki, they thought they''d be together on high school as well but, it wasn''t going to be, as several months before they started high school Rina had come over. Rina told a devastated Miyaki the bad news, that she''d be moving to another town due to her fathers work, the two spent the last days they had together as best they could.


    In those last few days, something happened that changed the whole dynamic of their friendship, it happened in Rina''s room, Miyaki was helping her pack her things, "Hey, Rina-chan which box do you want these books in?" Miyaki asked holding a stack of books in her hands. Rina didn''t answer, she was just sitting on her bed staring off into space, "Rina?" Miyaki called, she got no response, she grew concerned. Miyaki walked over to the bed and stood in front of the stargazing Rina, "Are you alrigh Rina-chan?" Miyaki smiled Rina looked up at her, a sad look on her face, "Miyaki-chan" she said dreamily, "What?" Rina blushed "Do..Do you like me?" Miyaki was perplexed at Rina''s question but, she smiled "Yeah, I like you Rina-chan" Rina blushed and grumbled. "No, I know you like me, I meant.." Rina froze "Do I what?" Miyaki cocked her head, Rina looked away, her face was burning red and her heart was pounding in her chest.

    Rina swallowed hard, she took a deep breath, and she faced Miyaki again, "I want to know, do you ''like'' me?" it took Miyaki a long while to figure out what Rina was saying, when she did her face went red and her heart started pounding, the books she held in her hands fell to the ground with a thud. Miyaki mumbled, she fidgeted her fingers, Rina giggled, that was something Miyaki would do when she''d get nervous or flustered, "Miyaki?" Rina called Miyaki jumped "Yes!" Rina chuckled, "Your so cute Miyaki" Miyaki blushed, she even started twirling her hair with her fingers. Rina couldn''t take it, everything Miyaki did was cute, it was what had made Rina fall for her in the first place. In one quick motion she jumped up and grabbed Miyaki and hugged her tightly, Miyaki gasped "Ri..Rina-chan!?" Rina chuckled "Are you going to answer me?" she whispered into Miyaki''s ear which made her shuddered and her face flushed red.


    Miyaki swallowed hard, her heart was pounding hard as well, in truth, she did like Rina but, it wasn''t the normal friendly like though, Miyaki had haved the feelings she had for Rina ever since they started middle school and as time went on it had grown stronger. She was scared to tell Rina that she loved her as she believed that Rina wasn''t that way, but, hearing what Rina was saying made her heart well up as well as her emotions. She giggled, she leaned close to Rina''s ear, "Yes, I like you Rina, I have for a long time" she whispered, Rina''s body went rigged, her heart hammered in her chest she looked at Miyaki and stared into her blue eyes. Miyaki''s face was red as Rina''s was there emotions were taking control of them, without a word Rina brushed a strand of Miyaki''s blonde hair from her face and leaned in and kissed her. The two kissed for three minuets before they separated to get some air, the panted heavily as they stared at each other, their eyes shimmering "I...I...I love you Miyaki" Rina smiled Miyaki giggled.


    "I love you as well, Rina" Miyaki smiled and this time, she initiated the kiss which took Rina by surprise, the two were so enthralled in there kiss that they fell onto Rina''s bed, that didn''t break the kiss between the two. Miyaki and Rina moaned as the kissed each other longer, Rina hugged Miyaki tightly Miyaki''s hormones took hold, her hand found Rina''s chest, she started small, she softly squeezed Rina somewhat plump small breast. Rina started to moan more, her hormones too hold of her as well, she reached for Miyaki''s butt and started to rub her hands all over it, she even squeezed it a bit. Miyaki and Rina''s moans echoed in her room, the bed even started to shake as they started to move more vigorously, Rina had started to take Miyaki''s clothes off, she was about to undo the last button on Miyaki''s shirt when she could hear footsteps coming up the stairs.


    "Oh shit! Someone''s coming!" she eyed the door, she had stopped unbuttoning Miyaki''s shirt which raised concern in Miyaki who pulled her lips away, she panted "What is it?" she asked seeing the worried look on Rina''s face. Rina looked at her, "Someone''s coming!" Miyaki''s eyes went wide that''s when they heard the doorknob of the room door jingle, "Quick! Get on the floor!" Rina shouted lowly Miyaki nodded she quickly hopped off Rina and went onto the floor. She then had an idea, she took a box and took the stack of books she had dropped and started placing them inside it, Rina smiled "Good idea!" Rina did the same as Miyaki as the tried to look as normal as possible the door opened and Rina''s mother walked in.


    She smiled when she saw the two piling things into boxes, "Hey girls, everything okay in here?" Rina looked at her mom and smiled "Yeah mom, everything''s fine" Rina''s mother smiled again and looked at Miyaki, "I''m really glad you decided to help Rina pack her things Miyaki-chan" Miyaki smiled, "Don''t worry about it Ms.Mazuki" Rina''s mom smiled. "I''m really grateful that you''ve been friends with my Rina for so long" Miyaki smiled "No, I should be grateful you let me be friends with Rina" Rina''s mom chuckled "You don''t need to thank me dear" her smile turned to a frown "I''m sorry that we''re leaving this" Miyaki gave a half smile "It''s not your fault mam''" Rina''s mom smiled "Thank you dear, well, I''ll let you girls get back to it" with that she left the room and went down the stairs.


    Miyaki sighed in relief as did Rina, "That was a close one" Rina commented, Miyaki giggled "Yeah" Rina giggled she looked at Miyaki and her face went red, "What is it?" Miyaki asked "Uhm..I can see them" was all what Rina said. Miyaki was clueless as to what Rina was saying but, when she looked down she went red in the face, the buttons of her shirt were still undone and her medium sized breasts were showing. Miyaki shrieked, she started to button her shirt up, "I hope your mom didn''t see that" Rina frowned "Don''t jinx us like that!" Miyaki and Rina stared at each other, then they started laughing in unison. "I''m really going to miss you Miyaki" Rina said smiling sadly Miyaki smiled back, "And I''ll miss you too" their faces went red, the emotions took hold again Miyaki scooted over to the bed and sat at the foot end Rina smiled and scooted to the edge of the bed. Rina and Miyaki''s eyes shimmered as they stared into each others, Rina bent over and Miyaki''s head rose their lips met and they kissed once more it was a last, passionate kiss between the two.


    Several days later, Rina moved away when she said goodbye to Miyaki she started to cry as did Miyaki, the two kissed quickly and not to long as for someone to see them and after they separated Rina said this, "I promise, I''ll come see you when I can" Miyaki smiled "I''ll be waiting, Rina" Rina blushed. Rina didn''t want to leave, but, she wasn''t able to get her parents to agree to let her stay and let them go, she had pleaded with them the night before their move to let her stay but, they shot back with that she was too young to stay by herself. It was with a heavy heart, that Rina was leaving she wanted to stay in the place Miyaki was, Miyaki must have seen the depressed look on her face and she quickly kissed her on the cheek "I''ll be waiting, Rina" Rina smiled and giggled. Her mother called her to get a move on, she shouted back an ''Ok'' she then took one last look at Miyaki she took Miyaki''s hands in hers and squeezed them tight, "Goodbye" Rina smiled tears rolled down her eyes, Miyaki smiled and nodded and started to cry as well "Goodbye" Rina''s mom blew the car horn.


    Rina sighed, she let Miyaki''s hands go and waved and then walked off Miyaki watched as the car Rina got into vanished down the street, her heart ached when she saw Rina in the backseat turn and wave at her with a sad smile on her face still crying like a baby as was she. Miyaki gave a final wave back and she stood there, three minuets after the car was long gone, she placed a hand on her chest and clenches tightly "Rina.." she whispered, it wasn''t long after that, that the high school term started while Miyaki was getting use to her new high school life without Rina by her side, she had no idea that in a couple of days she would get the worst news of her life.  Chapter 0- Part 2

    It was about five weeks into the her high school freshmen term, Miyaki was doing well, she had finally gotten used to Rina not being by her side but, she still got lonely when something reminded her of her but, she was able to keep strong with Rina calling her any chance she got, they''d tell each other about their life at school, what they had been up to, they even discussed what they''d do when they would see each other again. Their calls always ended with three words, ''I love you'' Miyaki would be set for days after that but then, all of a sudden the calls had stopped, Miyaki thought that Rina must have been busy with school and wasn''t able to pick up her phone. But, that wasn''t the case, as she was about to learn in the next thirty minuets.


    Miyaki was sitting in her classroom it was late after the school day had ended, she was busy reading over the material she had learned that day, she brushed her blonde hair behind her ear, when she entered high school Miyaki had let her hair grow out, it was now half way down her back but, that wasn''t the only thing different about her, Miyaki had grown body wise as well. She now had womenly curves, her thighs had gotten wider and her breasts, which had been on the big size were now much bigger it wasn''t hard to say that Miyaki was one of those girls that developed early, her body along with her lovely blonde hair and blue eyes made her the envy of other girls and the dreams of the boys. Miyaki giggled as she though on the very subject, she sighed contentedly, she casually glanced at the clock on the wall in front of her she saw that it was getting really late, she looked around and saw that she was the only one left in the classroom. She sighed, she closed her book "Guess I should head home" she pulled her book bag onto the desktop and put her book inside it, she threw the straps on her shoulder and got up from her seat she pushed the chair under the desk and made her way out the classroom.


    As she made her way down the hallway Miyaki saw a boy leaning against the wall, he was very good looking, he had a somewhat chiseled jawline and he looked well built, his head perked up when he heard Miyaki''s footsteps coming down the hall, he looked her way and a smile came to his face. He flashed his perfect white teeth and flipped his black hair that hung in his face and made his way towards Miyaki. Miyaki stopped halfway down the hall as the boy came to a stop in front of her, he was taller then her as Miyaki had to creen her neck to see his face which held his bright white smile. "Your Miyaki Ogura right?" he asked, Miyaki smiled "Yes, is there something you needed from me?" Miyaki asked the boy chuckled, "Yeah, as a matter of fact there is Miyaki-chan" the boys voice was gruff, he must have been going through puberty, Miyaki smiled "What do you need?" the boy blushed a bit "Well, it''s more like I have something I want to say" Miyaki raised an eyebrow "Oh, really" Miyaki knew what those words meant, "Why can''t these guys get a clue?" she said to herself.


    Even though Miyaki was annoyed by the constant confessions, she didn''t want to be rude so, she decided to go along with it, "Whats your name?" she asked, "My name Naoto, Naoto Yuki" Miaki nodded "Okay, what is it you wanted to say Yuki-kun?" she gave a smile, the boy who introduced himself as Naoto blushed "Uhm, I..I.." Naoto stuttered, Miyaki kept smiling although she was getting annoyed, "I like you! Please go out with me!!" Naoto shouted, he even bowed. Miyaki sighed she was right, another confession, "I''m sorry Yuki-kun, but I can''t accept your feelings" Naoto looked up with a crushed look, Miyaki felt bad, she had rejected so many guys but never had she seen either of them be as crushed as Naoto was, Naoto sighed "I understand" he then turned and was about to walk away. He stopped and looked back at Miyaki, "Uhm, if it''s not to much of a bother, do you want to be friends instead?" Miyaki was a bit shocked at Naoto''s proposal.


    "Uh, are you sure about that? I mean, you''d want to be friends with the girl who rejected you?" Naoto smiled, "No, I confessed and was properly rejected, you don''t have to worry" Miyaki was shocked once more, she never had a heard a guy say something like that, all the others seemed to hang there heads for weeks on end after she''d reject them but, Naoto was different. Miyaki smiled, "Alright then, I guess we can be friends Yuki-kun" Naoto smiled "Thanks Miyaki-chan!" he bowed again, Miyaki chuckled "Your welcome" Naoto shot back up "Want to walk home together then?" Miyaki was a bit off put by the suddeness of Naoto''s question, "Uhm.." she droned Miyaki scratched her cheek. As she stood there and thought she could see a sad look come to Naoto''s face, it made her feel guilty for thining of saying no so, against her better judgement she said "Yeah, sure, I don''t see why not" Naoto smiled "Really!?" Miyaki smiled nervously and nodded.


    "Alright!" Naoto cheered pumping his fist in the air, Miyaki kept a straight face, Naoto blushed in embarassment when he realized he had done that in front of Miyaki he nervously rubbed the back of his head, "Uhm, shall we go?" Miyaki stiffled a laugh and nodded Naoto smiled and started to walk off. Miyaki couldn''t believe the events that had just taken place before her, she was confessed to, she rejected her confessor, then he asked to be her friend which she accepted,and now she was going to walk home with said guy. Miyaki giggled to herself, "Wait till Rina hears about this" she giggled once more at the thought of how Rina would react she heard Naoto call her name, he was at the end of the hall waiting for her "Are you coming Miyaki-chan?" he gave a sad look "Sorry!" she smiled apologetically and she ran to catch up to him.


    The two walked out the school in silence, the two had no idea what to say to each other as they had just met today, "Uhm.." Naoto started "Yeah, what?" Miyaki cut in Naoto blushed in embrassment, "Is your hair naturally blonde?" Miyaki didn''t know what to say, she chuckled nervously "Yeah, I got it from my Dad" Naoto grinned "I see, is your Dad a foreigner?" Miyaki nodded "Yeah, he was born in the UK" Naoto nodded. "The UK? That''s cool" Miyaki smiled "Yeah, if you say so" akward silence fell, "Uh, I hope I can meet your Dad" Miyaki frowned, Naoto let out a small yelp "Did, Did I say something wrong?" Miyaki saw the concerned look on Naoto''s face and gave a smile, "It''s alright, you won''t be able to meet my Dad" Naoto raised and eyebrow "Why? Does his work keep him away from home alot?" Miyaki shook her head. "No, my Dad passed away when I was 6 years old" Naoto had the face of someone who knew they messed up, "I''m sorry, I had no idea" he looked away a bit ashamed of himself "No no, it''s alright, I''m not as touchy about it as I use to be" Miyaki smiled said she was okay, but any mention of her father still got to her.

    A deathly silence fell after that exchange, Naoto decided to change the subject "Uhm, what about your Mom?" Miyaki smiled somberly, "My Moms full Japanese" Naoto smiled "So, is that why you can understand Japanese so well?" Miyaki nodded "Yep, I got the languge and height from Mom, and I got Dads eyes and hair" she chuckled. Naoto smiled,"Can you understand English well?" Miyaki smiled nervously "Yeah, but, I haven''t had to use it since I moved to Japan" Naoto hummed "I see" an akward silence fell again, Miyaki decided it was her turn to break it "What about you?" Naoto looked at her in surprise, "Uhm me?" Miyaki nodded. Naoto scratched his cheek "Well, I''m full blooded Japanese, my parents are really strict, my Mom stays at home with my baby brother, and my Dad works for a stock company, my older brother lives on his own..." Naoto rambled on, Miyaki thought he was going to tell her his whole lifes story before she decided to interject. "Uhm, how long have you been wanting to confess to me?" Naoto froze mid-sentence, he blushed "Uhm, well, I.." he started to stutter.


    "Since the first day I saw you" he looked away in embarassment, Miyaki chuckled "When was that?" Naoto rubbed the back of his head, "Uhm, the first day of school" Miyaki was a bit amazed, Naoto had been planning to confess to her ever since the first day of school "Wow, I''m sorry" Miyaki knew it must have taken Naoto alot of courage to confess to her after holding feelings for her for so long. Naoto looked at her and smiled, "It''s okay, I gave it a shot and rejection was the result, I''m just glad I had the balls to confess at all" Miyaki smiled "But hey, at least we became friends because of that" Miyaki chukled "Yeah, I guess" once more silence came, Naoto was still blushing he rubbed his neck "So, is there someone you like?" Miyaki froze. "What?" Naoto stopped as well, "I asked if there was someone you liked, since you''ve rejected so many guys" Miyaki had no idea what to say, yeah, she did have someone she liked, but it wasn''t a guy it was Rina, a girl.


    "Miyaki-chan?" Naoto raised an eyebrow, Miyaki was too scared to say anything, she was scared that if she said yes she''d have to say who, and she had no idea if Naoto was the type to accept that type of thing. Miyaki was so lost in her worries that she had no idea that she unconsiously started to mumble, she was even twirling her hair on her finger, "Miyaki-chan? You okay?" Naoto didn''t get a response, he was getting worried, "Sorry, did I ask something I shouldn''t have?" Naoto smiled apologeticaly. Miyaki nodded, Naoto sighed "I''m sorry, I didn''t mean to put you on the spot, I was just curious" Miyaki could tell from the look on Naoto''s face he genuinely felt bad about what he had done, Miyaki sighed and smiled "It''s alright, I know you didn''t mean anything by it" Naoto smiled in relief. It was akward between them, "We should get going" Naoto proposed and resumed walking, "Ye-yeah, sure" Miyaki resumed walking as well.


    Miyaki and Naoto didn''t say anything to each other, after the mess the last conversation was they had no idea what else to say to each other, Naoto tried to start a new conversation but, he''d stop before he finsihed his sentences. Miyaki could tell Naoto was feeling guilty about the previous conversation, as his worried and sad face was evident, "Should I just tell him?" she asked herself, "No! What if he''s one of those that does accept that kind of thing?" she thought, "But, he feels so guilty!" she fought back, "But, what if I do tell him, and he is like that, and he tells the whole school and people start to bully me?" Miyaki''s head was a warzone. She was fighting with herself on telling Naoto the truth yet, because she only had just met him she had no idea what kind of person he was but, something deep down inside of her was telling her that she could trust him. Miyaki was still hesitant, even though she had something telling her to trust Naoto her heart was yelling at her not to.


    Miyaki let out a loud shout, it caused Naoto to jump in fright, he stopped "What? Is something the matter?" a shocked look on his face, Miyaki felt her head was going to explode, she had the notion to tell Naoto the truth and the notion Not to fighting each other. She wanted the madness to stop so, she decided to go with the feeling deep down inside her, she took in a breath "Yuki-kun!" she shouted Naoto jumped "Yes!" Miyaki stared at him "You asked me if there was someone I liked" Naoto had a confused look on his face, Miyaki grumbled "Well!? Didn''t you!?" Naoto yelped, "Yeah, I did" he nodded "Wha-What about it?" a look of fear on his face. Miyaki grumbled, "Well, I do" Naoto was even more confused, "What?" Miyaki grumbled again "I said I do! I do have someone I like!" Naoto was a bit scared, "I see, that''s cool" he wanted Miyaki to stop, she was scaring him, "The person I like.." Miyaki paused, Naoto raised an eyebrow "The person you like?" he repeated "Is a girl!" Miyaki shouted.


    Naoto unconciously repeated the word, "Is a girl..." it took a moment for it to sink in, when it did he gasped "The one you like is a girl!" Miyaki had a worried look on her face yet, she nodded "Yeah, the one I like is a girl, her name is Rina, she''s my childhood friend" Naoto''s mouth was agape "I see" the air grew akward as Naoto said nothing else.  Chapter 0-Part 3

    As Miyaki waited for Naoto to say something a sick feeling was forming in her stomach, her heart was pounding hard in her chest "Come on, say something!?" she shouted in her head she was getting more nervous by the minuet "Say something!?" she shouted again Naoto''s lips parted but then closed back, Miyaki waited with bated breath wondering what Naoto was going to say. Naoto could see the nervous almost scared look on Miyaki''s face, he took in a breath, it was still a shock to him that the girl he had just confessed to had sprung something like this on him, Miyaki nerves were growing the longer Naoto took,  she was now contemplating playing it all off as a joke. Naoto could see the uneasiness that he was causing Miyaki, to ease her he smiled, Miyaki seemed to be surprised at first yet, she still had that nervous look on her face.


    Miyaki was glued to Naoto''s lips when they parted again, this was it, he was going to say something, Miyaki was hoping and praying that it was good otherwise, she hoped she could get him to believe that it was all just a joke but, the words came out of his mouth was something she wasn''t expecting. She was so surprised and in disbelief by what he had said unconsciously she said, "What did you just say?" Naoto smiled "I said, that I think it''s fine" Miyaki was stunned, did she hear him right? Again unconsciously she asked, "Why? I just said I''m in love with another girl?" Naoto kept his smile "Love is love right?" Miyaki was still in disbelief, "But, doesn''t that put you off?" Naoto shook his head.


    "Not in the slightest" Miyaki trembled a bit, at that moment tears started to roll down her eyes, "Huh?" she said looking at the tears running down her cheek, she started to wipe her eyes "Whoa! Why are you crying!?" Naoto put his hands up in concern. It was then Miyaki figured out why she was crying, it made her start to laugh with joy "D-Did I say something wrong?" a still concerned Naoto asked Miyaki wiped her eyes and looked at him and giggled, she shook her head "No, more like, you said the right thing" Naoto had a puzzled look on his face. Miyaki chuckled and smiled, "I though that you weren''t going to accept me" Naoto blushed "I see" Miyaki giggled a bit, but something was still nagging at her, "Uhm, why did you accept the fact that I love another girl?" Naoto rubbed the back of his head.


    "Well, you see, my brother, he''s like that too" Miyaki raised an eyebrow "Your brother?" Naoto nodded "Yeah, he fell in love with another guy" Miyaki gasped, Naoto chuckled "I know, it came as much a shock to you as it did me and my parents" Miyaki felt a bit bad for reacting the way she did "Sorry, I shouldn''t I reacted the way I did" Naoto shook his head. He smiled, "It''s okay, it doesn''t bother me" Miyaki was curious now, "So, how did you parents react when your brother told them that?" Naoto chuckled nervously, "Well, like you''d think they didn''t like it" a sad look crossed Naoto''s face "They told my brother he dishonored our family" Naoto sighed. He continued, "That hurt my brother really bad, he felt that our parents didn''t love him enough to accept who he was" Miyaki frowned, she felt sorry for Naoto''s brother.


    Naoto went on, "He grew distant from Mom and Dad, he stopped coming home after a while" Naoto took a shuddering breath, "I could tell from how my brother acted, he wanted to be accepted" Naoto looked like he was about to cry, "I kept telling him I accepted him but, that didn''t seem to have much effect, he wanted to hear it from Mom and Dad" Naoto took in a breath "Then, one day, I got home one day, no one else was home..." Naoto paused it seemed what he was trying to say was bringing painful memories back. Naoto resumed, "I could hear running water, I fallowed it, and I found my brother laying in the tub, his wrists were cut" Miyaki''s eyes went wide, "I panicked, I called out to the neighbors for help" Naoto paused.


    "The doctors at the hospital said that he was lucky I came home when I did" Miyaki eyes were filled with concern Naoto went on, "When Mom and Dad asked him why he did it, he told them everything, after that Mom and Dad both started to accept who my brother was" he smiled. "Now, he lives in another town with his lover" Miyaki was amazed, she would never have thought just by looking at Naoto he had something like that go on, "So, that''s why you accepted me?" Naoto blushed and nodded. Miyaki smiled, "I''m glad" Naoto blushed harder "D-Don''t mention it" after that, Miyaki and Naoto resumed walking down the street, Miyaki was smiling and giggling as she told Naoto all about Rina. She told him about when they first met, their days growing up together, and then she told him about the goodbye and their promise to each other, Naoto smiled "I see, so you two promised to see each other again" Miyaki nodded, "Yeah,I can''t wait until Rina comes and sees me" she giggled a bit Naoto chuckled lightly.


    "From what you''ve told me, Rina-chan must really be a great girl" Miyaki blushed and nodded "Yeah, Rina''s the best" Naoto chuckled "You really love her a lot don''t you" Miyaki''s face went dark red Naoto chuckled again "I can''t wait to meet her one day" the red on Miyaki''s face lightened. She smiled "Yeah, I''ll introduce her to you when she comes visit me" Naoto smiled and nodded "I''ll look forward to it" Miyaki smiled brightly it was at that time her phone rang, she stopped and reached into her pocket Naoto stopped and waited Miyaki looked at her phone screen and her face went red. On the display was Rina''s number, "It''s Rina!" she shouted in excitement with that she pressed the accept button and put the phone to her ear, "Hello Rina!" she giggled but, the voice that came through wasn''t Rina''s "Miyaki-chan" came an older women''s voice, a voice Miyaki recognized.

    It was Rina''s mom, "Hello, Ms. Mazuki why are you calling me from Rina''s phone?" a shuddering breath came from Ms. Mazuki, "Miyaki-chan, It''s Rina" Miyaki felt her heart start pounding in her chest "Rina? What about Rina?" a concerned Naoto looked on in silence. Miyaki was worried, she didn''t want to think it, but, she had to ask "Ms. Mazuki, did something happen to Rina?" silence came from the other end, Miyaki''s heart started to sink, he mind had many awful thoughts swirling around, what could have happened to Rina? After a long pause Ms. Mazuki finally answered, "There was a accident, Rina''s in the hospital" Miyaki''s eyes went wide, her phone fell to the ground and she stood there stunned Naoto shook her "Miyaki-chan? You okay? Miyaki?!" Miyaki started to mumbled "Rina.." Naoto  raised an eyebrow "What?" Miyaki had a heart broken look on her face, "Rina''s in the hospital, she was in some kind of accident" Naoto gasped.


    Miyaki left Naoto and ran straight home, she quickly went to her mother and told her in tears what was going on, he mother called Rina''s mom and found out the hospital they were at, it was the longest drive for Miyaki, she was worried as to what kind of scene she would see when she''d get there. Was Rina alright? Was she badly hurt? Her mom sounded really sad on the phone, Miyaki was thinking the worst could have happened, when her mother finally pulled up at the hospital Miyaki rushed inside. She saw Rina''s mom sitting in the waiting room looking a mess, her eyes were red a puff signaling that she had been crying for the past hour Miyaki walked over to her "Ms. Mazuki?" Ms. Mazuki looked up and a smile appeared on her face. She sniffled "Oh, Miyaki-chan.." Miyaki heart was in her throat, "Ms. Mazuki, what happened to Rina? Is she alright? Is it serious?" Ms. Mazuki sighed deeply.


    "Well, it''s not too serious, she just took a bad fall down some stairs at school" Miyaki''s worry started to lessen, "Do you want to go see her?" Miyaki perked up "Yeah, which room is she in?" Ms. Mazuki gave Miyaki the room number and then when her mother came forward she started talking with her. Miyaki went off and let them talk, she wanted to see Rina, she wanted to see how she was, Miyaki quickly found Rina''s room she took a breath and walked in she nearly cried out in shock when she saw Rina laying in a bed, she had a bandages around her head and she had her leg elevated. Miyaki quickly ran over to Rina''s side "Rina! It''s me! It''s me!" she shouted Rina''s eyes fluttered open "What?" came her groggy tones voice she looked over at Miyaki "Rina, it''s me, It''s Miyaki" Rina groaned in confusion "Miyaki?" Miyaki nodded and sniffled "Yeah" Miyaki was expecting Rina to smile.


    But, instead Rina still had a confused look on her face, "Do, Do I know you?" Miyaki''s heart sank a bit she giggled, "Oh, come on Rina, don''t joke like that, it''s me Miyaki" if Rina was playing  joke Miyaki wasn''t laughing, "I''m not" Miyaki''s heart broke a bit "Huh?" she uttered. She giggled nervously "Come on Rina, stop kidding, you know who I am" Miyaki smiled Rina slowly shook her head "No, I''m serious, I don''t" Miyaki''s heart started to fall apart piece by piece "Rina, Rina please, It''s Miyaki!" Miyaki started to cry. Rina shook her head again, "I''m sorry, I don''t know who you are" that was the last thing Miyaki could take, her heart shattered, "I...I see, you don''t remember me" the tears rolled down Miyaki''s face, Rina''s face showed concern "I''m sorry" was all she said. Miyaki shook her head, "No, it''s alright" with that she walked away from Rina''s bed "I''m going to let you get back to sleep" Rina gave a puzzled look but, with the heavy medication she didn''t say anything more and went back to sleep.


    Miyaki walked out the room just as her mother and Ms. Mazuki was walking down the hallway, "Miyaki?" her mother called as she saw her coming down the hall Miyaki just walked past her mother "Miyaki?!" her mother called she looked at Ms. Mazuki and they looked at the room not knowing what had just happened. Miyaki was already back at the car when her mom came running out the hospital after her, at that point Miyaki had broken down crying it took several hours for her mother to calm her down, it was longer then it took to calm her down when she was told her Dad was dead. On the drive back home the one thing on Miyaki''s mind was the words Rina said. "I don''t know you" those words haunted her, how was it that Rina could forget about her like that, What about their promise? Many days after that day, it was found out that Rina''s accident wasn''t an accident.


    A female student at her school had come forward, she admitted seeing some boys harassing Rina, she had said something one of the boys didn''t like, he pushed her not knowing that they were so close to the stairs, and Rina went tumbling down the stairs the girl had been too scared of the boys to say anything. More bad news came, in result with her falling down the stairs Rina had hit her head a few times, and her doctors said it had caused her to lose some pieces of her memory, the one that bother Miyaki most was the memories of her, why were those the ones that were gone as well? As Miyaki sat in her room she took it all in, Rina had been put in the hospital by boys, boys had taken away Rina''s memories of her, "It''s all their fault" she mumbled her eyes showed a hint of anger and rage, "It''s all their fault" it was then Miyaki started to change and she was soon to be know as ''The Ogre Girl''.
