《Rise of the Evil God》 Prologue + Chapter 1 Welcome to purgatory (Edited) Prologue I open my eyes and feel myself floating in a black space... dimension...plane... whatever the hell you want to call it, I can''t see shit! "Haha" I laugh to myself. "They said that what awaited you after death would be a bright white light at the end of a long dark tunnel. Well, I know that''s some serious bullshit now don''t I! It''s just darkness; endless darkness..." "Oh. Hi there, don''t mind me floating here! Now, I''m sure you guessed it, but I''m already dead, surprise!" I do some cool jazz hands. "This is a story with an already dead main character, how original right?" Anyways, back on topic; so now you''re wondering: well, how did you the awesome, cool, amazing ladies'' man, and totally not a crazy madman like you, Arthas, end up dead?" I said... to no one... again. "Well I''m bored, floating, and can''t see anything below the belt (or at all) so I''ll tell you a story!" *Clears throat* "It all started when I was three and my parents died in an airplane crash; according to the orphanage. I stayed in said orphanage until I was adopted at the age of five. My life improved by leaps and bounds, right?" I chuckled. "If you said NO then... You were RIGHT! YAAAAAAAY!" I shouted while clapping. *Clap, clap, clap, clap* "So anyway, it got worse here because the "family" that adopted me was a cover for an assassin training camp for a major crime syndicate, and oh boy here we go! I was placed in a class of 30 other kids and forced to go through grueling training all over the world until I turned 16. The best part was when I graduated by killing the 5 remaining kids in my class. Fun times..." "Now, does it get any better? Of course it does! I don''t have to kill any more childhood friends... if I had any left. I spent the next 12 years as an assassin/hit-man and yes, an upbeat one; I mean why do i have to be cold, like all the other assassins?" "Anyways, I got in trouble at the prime age of 28 when I may have snapped during a meeting, killing the head of the syndicate and everyone in the meeting, but it ended with me getting major injuries, barely leaving the building alive. The next thing I remember is seeing a small girl tripping in to the street with a large truck less than a dozen yards away." "So, if I''m going to die anyway, why not save someone else before I go? I ran out on to the street and threw the girl to the sidewalk. For the shits and giggles, I turned to the hit-men chassing me, flipped them off and yelled ''See you motherfuck...'' I miscalculated the speed of the truck and got rewarded with being turned into meat paste and sent to this God forsaken shit hole of a space...type...thing...Fuck it! I''m calling it the ''Fucking Shit Hole of Fucking Darkness''!" I looked around and thought "yep, still can''t see... maybe I''m blind... I did get hit by a truck, hmmm....." Chapter 1 "Hello! How long am I going to be floating here?" I yell into the darkness around me. However this time a hollow voice replies from said darkness. "When your judgement is complete." "Sure thing, just don''t take too damn long, I got places to be!" I reply back to the voice as I endlessly float around. ''Man, I am going to hell; well this is shit, god damn it.'' After what seemed like an eternity, there was a sudden flash a bright white light in front of my face which aparently brough me onto solid ground in front of a man in black plate armor and a grey hood which shadowed his face; creepy if I do say so myself. The room is made out of dull grey stone with three passage ways. The path to the right was lit up in golden light, the path in the middle had a complete absence of light, and to the left was lightly lit in ice blue that sent chills down my spine. "Yo, I got two questions for you! Where in the hell am I, and where in the hell is your face?" I ask the creepy guy in the hood. "For your crimes of wanton murder you should be sent into the void, but someone saved your ass and brought to our attention that just before your death you saved an innocent. So we offer you two choices: purgatory with a chance of reincarnation, or the void to suffer for the rest of eternity" (Creepy no-face guy). "Didn''t really answer the question, but whatever. That''s kind of a hard choice". I swear if the guy had a face, the potential for a raised eyebrow was there. "Nah, I''m just fucking with you. So what''s in purgatory?" "Purgatory is the battlefield of souls. You will need to fight your way to freedom. Before you begin the Dark Mistress will give you up to three items that will help you through your struggle through purgatory" (creepy no-face guy). "Well see ya no-face! I''d stay and bug ya more, but I''m curious who this Dark Mistress is" "Gain Power and thou may come to learn who I be." I swear I''m comming to see a trend with all the creepy voices and shit. The voice was feminin but seem shallow and on the verge of death. I turn around to try and fine the source of the voice, but there was no one; and of cource no-face had to disappear when my back was turned. The tunnels on the left and right sealed up and the middle black one was now my only option. Lovely. A sudden suction force started pulling me toward the path and just as I stepped into it, the world swirled around me for a moment followed by blackness. When I came to, I was in a dull world; the ground was covered in grey dirt and the sky was full of boring grey clouds that never seemed to end. "Fuck, this place looks boring as shit. What the fu--" in my hand there was a pouch that fell like it was pulsing with some sort of power, or a heart...can it be the first one? I opened it to find a jet black dagger. It looked to be made of one solid piece of black metal, but beside that it didn''t look to special. "Mother fuckers told me I could get three items, and all I got was this one god forsaken dagger!" Holding the dagger, It started to feel like some tendrils of power started feeling my mind; or I''m going nuts... definitly the second one regardless of the damned dagger. "Might as well get the show on the road after this ripoff". I began traversing this grey world. From my vantage point I can see four indivuals; so long that no one is to comfortable in that camp with eachother, that should be everyone. I attempt to get closer to them to just hear what they''re saying. "Two months man, and we only got seven newbies" A large man said to the others. "Hey, at least we have enough blood to last for now, right? A tall skinny man replied to the large one. "I think Razz is right, we need a new spot" A short but muscular man stated. "Shut it you two, we will stay here for two more months before moving out" The last man said, he was wearing a black cloak. He stood up and as he was walking to his tent said "Oh Razz, have fun, you get first shift" The two others went back into their tents after saying '' good night'' to one another, leaving the man called Razz to mumble cusses to himself. After waiting and making sure the rest were asleep, I sneaked up behind Razz, covered his mouth with my left hand and used my right to slice his neck open with my shiny new dagger. Maybe there was something more to this dagger because it felt like there was almost no resistance as I sliced him open. Blood spurted and poured out of his neck with slight gurgling sounds as he attempted to scream, or curse at me; don''t really care which. I then gently lay the corpse down to keep the noise down. I then sneak into the tall skinny guy''s tent. I finish him off like the first; cover his mouth and open his jugular. As I was walking out, the short muscle guy comes out of his tent and walks over to the Razz corpse. "Hey Razz, I wanted to tal...!" he was cut short by my dagger that was not sinking deep into his neck. I turn around and see the guy in the black clock coming up fast; I push off with my left foot just barely dodging a punch to my head by the guy; who I guess is the leader of this little outfit. After doing the punch, I pivot on my right foot and bring my left foot up and roundhouse and hit him in the face causing him to take a few steps back. Without letting him recover, I grab his collar and performed a Nage waza throw which caused him to land on his back. I get on top of him and press my dagger against his throat and say "Man! You must really suck at fighting!" The guy didn''t say anything and just glared at me. "Oh, you don''t talk much. Well, that''s good and back. Because you''re going to listen to my questions; then you''re going to answer them, ok? Let''s get started then!" I put on a smile to set the mood. "What''s this talk about blood?" "What are you a newbie or something? How don''t you know about blood? But how do you have a weapon...AHHHH!" He looked at me confused but started to scream after I dig my dagger into his left elbow and twisted. "Tsk, tsk, I asked what you needed the blood for" I asked once again with a polite smile. "It''s to increase the power of your soul and it counts as a source of food here!" He yelled, grimacing in the pain that I inflicted on him. So after a nice long chat with my ''friend'' here, I found out a few things. The first is that the only food you have is blood of other souls, and the more powerful the soul, the more power you gain from it. Another thing, is you can gain more power by eating the hearts of souls, but creatures called Grims will begin to hunt you if you do. Another, there are three gateways at the end of purgatory that will let you reincarnate; then there was some stuff about runes you can add to weapons. My dear ''friend'' just so happened to have a Run of what he calls the darkness element. It was a black stone with a weird shape that I couldn''t identify. He said the runes fuse with the weapon when you push the stone into the weapon. So, after seeing off my ''friend''; I touched the rune to my weapon. The rune then exploded into black mist and began infusing into my dagger; I could feel the change, I knew it would become stronger now. Now to go Twilight on these guys...ignore that; please for the love of anything forget that I ever said that. The blood was sweet; definitely not the iron taste that I''m used to. Not only is this blood sweet, I feel more energized. I''m not going to eat their hearts yet (they look more like white cores instead of hearts). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After finishing up with those hunters, I traveled for what I think is two days in this place. It''s always dark and the only light source I''ve seen so far is a silver moon thing above the grey clouds. Finally, I found another group; this time there are seven people. ''Right, two choices here Arthas, be smart. Option A: take them out one at a time; or Option B run in there, guns a''blazin...Ahhh fuck it, CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!'' Thus after my brilliant planning method, I ran in taking out the two guarding the outside of the camp with quick skillful slashes to the necks. This alerts the rest of the camp, causing the remaining five to run at me. "Kill this fucker!" one of them yells as they run at me only having one weapon among them all. On my two day walk, I learned a little how to use the run on my dagger. I focus the energy I felt from drinking blood into the dagger. This causes the black mist like glow which adds a nice effect to a slash from the dagger. Charging up the dagger, I slash which causes a black line that hit four of the unprepared men, splitting them in half. The last one looked at me in utter terror; he escaped death by ducking at the last second. I just finish him off with a knife to the throat. After drinking the blood and looting the items (vials of pink liquid and black clothes ''so much damn black!''). I couldn''t find the weapon the one of the idiots had, almost like it vanished into thin air. ''Man, when I cam to purgatory, I though this was going to be difficult, filled with skilled fighters! But noooooo, it''s filled with a bunch of thugs and idiots that can''t fight for shit! I have to say, this place is boring'' I sigh and walk off into the sunset...moonset?...fuck it. This is the start of my adventure in Purgatory.

Chapter 2 The Soul Eater Chapter 2 The Soul Eater 10 years later A time skip really so soon? I know but my life in purgatory was boring up to this point I mean I just killed a lot of weak people and I don¡¯t want you to think of me as a bad person ok. -----------------------------Chief Chen POV----------------------------------------- A monster is all I can call the man at the gates of my camp, they call him The Soul Eater he showed up around ten years ago and he¡¯s killed just over two thousand people in that time and about two years ago started eating the cores of souls earning him his name. He is as fast as lightning he has black hair with dark brown eyes about 6¡¯1 and has a handsome face. The reason that I call him a monster is that as he is killing my men with quick slice¡¯s to their throats he has a huge friendly looking smile that sends shivers down my spine. As I take out my two crescent moon knives I sigh to myself at the thought of fighting this monster. Each blade has a different colour covering it; the right one had red fire covering it and the left one has a blue ice mist covering it. I look at him and it seems he has noticed me as he has lowered himself and started to run at me. Seeing this I lower myself into my fighting stance he then sends a slash that caused a black line to appear and attack me I blocked with my weapons but sends my arms back into the air and before I can move my hands back he knees me in the face then spins and back kicks me in the chest. I stumble back a few steps with blood flowing out of my nose and breathing heavy from the kick. Looking up I see he is still smiling at me and god dam it pisses me off. I start running at him slicing up with my right blade up at him, but just as it¡¯s about to hit him he leans back and brings his dagger up slicing my right hand off ¡°Ahhhhh¡± I yell as pain of my hand missing runs through my body Clenching my teeth I try to back off but before I can do so his foot comes up and hits me in the chin pushing my head back but as I force my head down to see he is somersaulting backwards I and with my left blade put a small cut on his left leg. As he lands I see him look at the cut leg that looks like its freezing and his smile becomes even bigger. ¡°Hehehehe¡± he does a small creepy chuckle and continues to say ¡°It¡¯s been so long since someone has hurt me what¡¯s your name good sir mine is Arthas¡± he says with a small bow with his right hand over his heart and left behind his back looking me in the eyes the whole time with his dark emotionless eyes ¡°Ch¡­ my name is Chen I am the chief of this group of people¡± I respond back ¡°Well then Chen you have earned my respect any last words then?¡± the man asks ¡°No¡± ¡°Well ok then¡± he says while lowering himself again to attack As he runs to my left with lighting speed I swing my blade at him but he stops it by grabbing my left arm with both of his. He continues by kicking my feet out from under me forcing me to fall forward, as I¡¯m on the ground he pulls my left arm back and knees it in the elbow joint snapping the arm back and as the knife come¡¯s up to my neck it stops. --------------------------------Arthas¡¯s POV-------------------------------------- As I was about to finish the man named Chen off when I remembered there was some questions I needed answered. ¡°Hey is there a way to take runes off of other peoples weapons?¡± ¡°Why¡­ are¡­. you asking¡­ me this?¡± the man said in pain ¡°I just want the runes on your weapons is all¡± I stated, I asked because the weapons disappear when you kill the owner taking the rune with it. ¡°Only¡­ the owner can¡­ remove it¡± Chen said ¡°OK then if you don¡¯t mind removing the runes from your weapons I¡¯ll let you request anything other than your life¡± ¡°Pl¡­ please spare my¡­ my men¡± Chen asked ¡®Weird didn¡¯t think there were any good people here in purgatory, but hey learn something new right and I forgot about the other guys that were standing here why are they not helping their chief¡¯ I thought then said ¡°ok I¡¯ll let them go but any that attack me will die and I¡¯m taking all of your loot is that a deal?¡± ¡°Fine tha¡­¡± before he could finish he was cut off by one of the men around us. ¡°Chief we can¡¯t let that happen we came to purgatory together and we leave together!¡± ¡°You guys stop I¡¯m taking this deal this is a final order do you understand me! ¡®Cough¡¯ ¡®cough¡¯¡± Chen yelled with some coughs ¡°Yes sir¡± they all said straightening their backs and placing their right hand over their heart Then I put his arm back in place and letting him drink the pink liquid which I found out heals people he removed the runes from the two weapons and handed over two black stones with a fire symbol and the other with a snowflake symbol to me. ¡°Thank you for this and I¡¯ll keep my end of the deal¡± I said as I sliced his throat with my knife ending the man known as Chen letting his body fall as blood rushed out of his neck his weapons also disappeared. ¡°Sorry Chief but we¡¯ll be disobeying your orders let¡¯s get this fucker!¡± one man yelled out ¡°FOR THE CHIEF!!¡± they all yelled as they ran at me ¡®Idiots hehe¡¯ I thought as I ran into the group of 20 men slicing the throat of each one I passed. The fight lasted a whole five minutes; taking this place and fighting the man named Chen took only about 20 minutes. After storing the blood of all the men into my pouch and eating the cores and cleaning the blood off myself I walked in to the cave they had cut into the side of a hill. Then I got about half way inside when I felt that there was someone further inside. The cave had been cut into a wide hill there was a hallway that lead to a big circular main room. The hallways firestones were unlit; oh and by the way fire here is caused by these red hot little rocks that start to burn with a bright yellow flame if hit hard. As I stayed in the dark with my back to the wall I snuck up to the main room and as I got to the end of the hallway and poked my head out to see. I saw a woman walking into a small room. The circular main room had smaller rooms on the side were I guess they slept. I waited to she was still in the room before I snuck up to the room and with my dagger in hand I waited at the doorway for her to walk out. I must say I waited at least 2 minutes before I decide to poke my head to see if she was still there to my surprise my face was met with a sword that I dodged by propelling myself back off of the wall. The woman I was met with was beautiful with long silver hair and ice blue eyes as well as beautiful pale white skin. ¡®Dam it I have never seen a more beautiful woman up close in my life and have seen a lot of women, and I mean a lot but a story for another time¡¯ I thought upon seeing her ¡°How about we split the gains half¡± the women said with an ice cold voice ¡°Wait why?¡± I asked with a smile ¡°Because if we did fight none of us would get out unharmed it¡¯s not worth it for the small amount that¡¯s here¡± she said ¡°Well ok no problem¡± I said as I turned to start looking around ¡°Wait really that easy¡± she said in a confused tone Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.¡°Well, all I want are runes and better clothes to wear anything else you can take, that should sound good right¡± I told her ¡°sur¡­ sure that¡¯s fine I guess¡± she said After about ten minutes all that I found was a sick looking mask that just stuck to my face with no strings and was a cool smiling skeleton. ¡°Why aren¡¯t you taking any weapon matter¡± she said holding a vial of grey liquid ¡°Well it don¡¯t need it I have a lot of it¡± I said back to her Weapon matter is how weapons are made, by drinking it creates a weapon from your body and by drinking more it makes it harder to break. but my weapon doesn¡¯t seem affected by it maybe because it wasn¡¯t created by weapon matter. Anyway my words seemed to confuse her as her face changed from ice cold to a blank look if there is a difference. ¡°Well I guess that¡¯s¡± RUMBLE Before I could finish what I was saying I heard the sound of thunder that was so loud that the whole cave shuck. ¡®Didn¡¯t think there was rain here¡¯ I thought then looked at the silver haired woman and saw that in her ice blue eyes there was fear ¡°What¡¯s got you so scared?¡± I asked In a light whisper I heard ¡°Grims¡­¡± ¡®Fuck this looks bad I stayed away from them for two years¡¯ I thought ¡®well maybe if we stick together we¡¯ll get out of this¡¯ ¡°Hey have you fought them before?¡± I asked ¡°Yes it was only once and in my group of seven I was the only one to make it out¡± she said in a grim tone ¡°Well shit it¡¯s worth a try right or are you going to give up here?¡± I asked giving her a bright smile ¡°Fine¡± she said as she put the last of her things in her pouch (called a void pouch) and started walking out. I followed her out taking in the great view ¡®fuck that ass is great in tight pants god dam that outfit is like a some ninja outfit that¡¯s just so hot¡¯ I thought like a gentleman. As we walked out I looked up and saw that the normal grey clouds have been replaced by blood red storm clouds and have brought with them howling winds and rain that was the colour of blood or was blood. When I looked ahead at the front gate of this place there was a lanky motherfucker that was about seven feet tall in a robe that looked to be made of blood it, it had its hood on but from what I saw of its face it was a skeleton face but instead of eyes there was a flickering ice blue flame in the empty socket and in its skeleton hands was Flails with a chain about five feet long with a huge spiked ball at the end and seemed to be made out of the same black metal as my dagger. ¡°LOTR motherfucker we got here right¡± I said ¡°What¡¯s LOTR?¡± she asked ¡°Never mind shall we get this done hahaha¡± I said with a smile and a chuckle charging out. ¡°Wait!¡± she tried yelling but was too late as I had already charged out Crack Crack As the grim started to move cracks could be heard from its body and as I came up to it, it swung the Flails horizontally which I dodged by bending backward ¡®and man I would fucking rock at limbo¡¯ but before I could attack I was pulled back by the sliver haired girl and less than a second later the ball hit the ground I was just standing on and it caused dust and dirt to blow everywhere. ¡°So girl what¡¯s your name¡± I asked as we jump and dodge the grim¡¯s attacks ¡°Can we talk about this after if we make it out of this!¡± she yelled at me ¡°So what you¡¯re saying is if I beat this you¡¯ll tell me your name, well that sounds like a deal!¡± I yelled in a happy tone After this I ran at the grim dagger in hand I then ducked under the metal ball I got close and slashed at its side but all I cut was the red blood cloak that mended back together right after the grim moved a step back throwing another attack at me ¡°Well shit that didn¡¯t work it just heals¡± I grumbled dodging back after failing my attack ¡°You see this is why we can¡¯t kill them easy and you can¡¯t break their bones¡± She said ¡°Easy you say so there is a way to kill them?¡± I asked her ¡°Ya you have to crush the core in their chest but that¡¯s easier said than done¡± she answered As we dodged the grim¡¯s attacks that was getting faster as time went on I got an idea after looking at my dagger then at the grims Flails. ¡°Hey do you think you can distract him for like two to three seconds please I think I can hurt him¡± I explained ¡°Sure but make it quick¡± she answered back to me As a response to my request she ran up make quick slashes at it causing it to turn to face her and at the same time I charged up an attack to use causing black mist to appear on my dagger and in less than a second it was ready. Next I ran staying as close to the ground as I could and with the grim¡¯s side to me I slashed out at its feet. The black mist formed into a small slash that flew quickly at the grim¡¯s feet passing through them. Crack Crack Two cracks could be heard as the grim fell to the ground and due to being in the middle of a attack, causing it to fly backward. After it hit the ground, the girl and I flew up to it stabbing our weapons into its core. BOOM A huge boom happened and we were lunched backward we both hit the ground and rolled to stand to see the grim turning into a floating globe of blood that flew into the sky. RUMBLE RUMBLE When it reached the sky huge rumbles could be heard as the ground shook. But after that the clouds started to go back to their dull grey colour and the wind and blood rain stopped. ¡°Well that was fun¡± I said looking over at the woman beside me ¡°so, what¡¯s your name¡± I asked with a wink. ¡°What is that dagger to have broken the bones of a grim so easy¡± she asked with eyes filled with disbelief. ¡°Don¡¯t know it was the only thing given to me when I got here¡± I responded. ¡°WHAT you just had it in your void pouch when you got here¡­ oh and my name is Akino¡± she said the last part with a slightly shy tone. ¡°Well Akino since we already seem good at working together how about we travel together I feel having a companion can make this boring place a little more fun don¡¯t you think?¡± I asked keeping my smile on my face I got was a look from her that was saying ¡®what really¡¯ ¡°Look I know we have just met but as you have said in a fight we are about even and all I want are runes so what do you say¡± I asked. All I got was a slight sigh and a small nod then she started to walk away. Then without hesitating I followed from behind. ¡®I feel like she¡¯s one of the easily teased girls¡¯ I thought to myself while enjoying that pleasant view again. This was the start of Arthas and Akino¡¯s adventures through purgatory. Chapter 3 Life Stories, learning about the world plus Traveling Chapter 3 Life Stories, learning about the world plus Traveling -------------------------------------------Akino¡¯s POV.-------------------------------------------- For 2 months I have traveled with the man called Arthas and I have to say he is a weird person. Now you may be asking why? Well let me tell you about this man ahem, he likes to wear a friendly smile as he kills people and when I asked him why he said this ¡°I just don¡¯t what them to think of me as a bad person¡±. Really you killing them kind of defeats the purpose of that. When I asked if he could stop he said he¡¯d wear a mask he found some time back¡­ it was a fucking smiling skeleton mask. Next is he keeps eating soul cores which means we have to watch out for more grims, plus he keeps staring at my ass when we travel like I don¡¯t know and he seems to know nothing of purgatory and how it works. ¡°Ah man I¡¯m bored¡± Arthas said, with a sigh as we were sitting next to a campfire of firestones. ¡°I can¡¯t help you Arthas¡± I replied, taking out a vial of stored blood out of my void pouch to drink. ¡°No I feel you can help me with my boredom to be honest I feel it will help both of our boredoms¡±- Arthas grins and leans closer to me. ¡°wh- what are you getting at¡± I asked, taking a gulp of the blood filled vial. ¡°We could just fuck¡± he said, in a way that almost sounded sexy. ¡°¡®PFT¡¯! What are you ¡®cough¡¯ ¡®cough¡¯ talking about Arthas! ¡®Cough¡¯¡± I yelled, choking on the blood I just spit out and leaned away from him. ¡°What sex is a good way to pass the time; plus you¡¯re a beautiful woman and I¡¯m a handsome man it works out well¡± he said, believing every word said. ¡°First off you give yourself way too much credit; second off my sect doesn¡¯t let us have¡­ sex¡­¡± I slowed down at the end, remembering that I¡¯m dead and no longer part of a sect. ¡°Hehe wait. No. you¡¯re a VIRGIN! HAHAHAHAHA!¡± he yells, bursting into a bellowing laugh ¡°how old are you oh my god! A cold hearted killer of purgatory is a virgin that¡¯s too rich!¡± he shouts out making my cheeks heat up ¡°But what¡¯s with the whole sect thing?¡± he asks. ¡°What how have you never heard of a sect before wait which of the 3 worlds did you come from if you don¡¯t mind?¡± I asked him. ¡°3 worlds, I came from the planet earth¡± ¡°Wait earth? Wait don¡¯t tell me, you¡¯re from a minor world are you?¡± I asked him further ¡°What¡¯s a minor world and how can I tell if I came from one?¡± he asks back. ¡°Did your world have any magic?¡± ¡°Nope¡± he gives a quick straight answer ¡®Well that answers some of my questions and makes more, like how is he so good at fighting and using the rune on his dagger¡¯ I thought. ¡°So. But what if the darkness element is that balance the pull feeling proved this more and knowledge from my world helped. That is because what is black? It¡¯s the absence of light right? But think of a black hole its compressed matter even light is compressed and what is seen is blackness. So what if the darkness element is just other 5 elements comprised? I blocked with the flat side of my dagger covering it with ice mist and supporting it with my left arm the moment the skeleton fist hit my dagger my left arm shattered. The Two grims with the halberd and Meteor Hammers were walking slowly at us. For some reason they then stopped and looked up at the sky then turned into globes of blood and flew into the sky and the other two dead grims bodies did the same then the clouds turn to the normal dull grey and the weather calmed. Akino and I looked at each other and we grinned and started to laugh then we fell back and lied on the ground. ¡°Thank god that dam Meteor Hammers grims¡¯ fire really hurt first it would burn your skin then it would freeze the flesh when it went out haha¡± Akino said, with a light laugh still lying on the ground staring at the sky. ¡°You know Akino this is the first time I¡¯ve heard you laugh¡± I said, as I turned and looked at her ¡°I think you should do it more often it¡¯s a cute laugh¡± I gave her a wink. Akino hearing this just looked at me and sighed ¡®oh no she¡¯s getting used to my teasing, dam what do I have now that I can¡¯t tease her.¡¯ I thought as worry filled my mind then thought of something and asked her. ¡°Hey Akino why is my weapon so different than yours.¡± ¡°That¡¯s because I don¡¯t think your dagger is made of weapon matter. As you know weapon matter forms the weapon you¡¯re thinking of out of your body; then that builds a connection between your soul and the weapon. Which lets you summon the weapon back to your hand from anywhere and it means when you die the weapon disappears.¡± She said ¡°I get it now so because it¡¯s not weapon matter I can¡¯t summon my weapon like you but other people don¡¯t know that which means people will think the dagger is useless in other people¡¯s hands¡± I stated. ¡°Right but I don¡¯t know if other people can use your dagger have you tried it before?¡± she asked, sitting up and looking at me. ¡°No I haven¡¯t do you want to try?¡± I asked sitting up too and holding out the dagger to her. She nodded and reached to grab the dagger but the second it touched her hand, she shot her hand back fear filled her eyes I said in panted breaths ¡°How¡­ how evil¡­ it felt like¡­ it was go¡­ going to consume my¡­ my Soul!¡± she then gave me a worried panicked look. ¡®Ah so the voice was most likely from the dagger¡¯ I looked and told her and said. ¡°So it does that¡­ well you¡¯d need a soul first to have it consumed hehe¡± I chucked Akino just shuck her head at me. -------------------------- After a bit of time we set up our campsite that now had tents! Ya tents and not just any kind of tents ¡®magic tents¡¯. Oh and the only thing magic about them is they set themselves up¡­ that¡¯s it. On to important matters I now have to decide if I add the wind rune now or wait to add it with another rune if I think of it wind helps both ice and fire elements. I looked over at Akino to that she had fallen asleep. I got up and walked over to her and see that she¡¯s sleeping in a ball knees to her chest and hugging them with her arms. It reminds me of how Alena used to sleep, it¡¯s the way a person that¡¯s lived alone for a long time sleeps or someone damaged sleeps. Its good Akino¡¯s just the alone type¡­ can¡¯t say that for Alena though poor girl really. Eh, I hate remembering the past that means I think of that old hag. Oh and to keep you guys sane I¡¯ll tell you that hag was only in her late 30¡¯s at the start but if you had her do some of the shit she did to you, you¡¯d call her a hag as well but I can¡¯t say it went to well for the next batch of kids¡­ well let¡¯s not think about it. I went and picked up Akino and brought her to her tent and covered her in the black robe she uses as a blanket. Then sat in front of the fire ¡®it seems like forever since you¡¯ve been gone Alena. I just hope you have a good life this time¡± I keep a weak smile for a sec then start to fiddle with my dagger and the rune. Chapter 5 Master of unarmed fighting and The Morals of a Madman ---------------------------------------------------Miya¡¯s POV.---------------------------------------------- For 6 months we have chased the man named The Soul Eater; or Arthas as I learned before passing out. I have to say never in my life have I been treated in such a way tied, beaten and fucked. What pisses me off is that¡¯s what I do to men, it¡¯s what I¡¯ve always done; in my life as a succubus I forced men to do what I want and was the dominant one in bed. But this man raped me like some common whore and thinking about it makes me angry but at the same time¡­ I fidget remembering the scene of him bringing me close to climaxing but not letting me. ¡®Stop this body, this isn¡¯t the fucking time¡¯ I yell in my head for I stop getting so horny. Not only did he rape me but he did it in front of my junior the black haired girl named Daiyu Mar, an elf we just recruited. But our master yelled at me as well; she said I was worthless being overpowered by a man and to make up for it I have to find and kill this man. Well at least she gave me 20 people to find him with and she¡¯s not underestimating him. Well I think it will add too much power to the dagger and I¡¯ll have no control of it and that¡¯s not a good idea. When Akino woke up we set out again heading to the gateway out of purgatory. ¡°Hey Akino I have something I have to say¡± I said, to Akino while we walked. ¡°Hmm. What is it Arthas?¡± ¡°Well I feel I haven¡¯t killed enough people lately it¡¯s ruining my character, you know¡± I said, in a depressed tone. ¡°¡­¡­¡± Akino just stopped walking and looked at me not knowing what to say but after a while she said. ¡°Well I guess we can fight some camps, but Arthas we have to be careful these camps aren¡¯t like the others we¡¯ve fought. These ones have strong opponents¡± she then continued to walk after she said this. I just smiled and said ¡°Good!¡± ------------- We kept walking and when we reached a camp I got an idea and when I told Akino she just called me an ¡°Idiot¡± but anyways. When I was still alive I liked going to underground fighting arenas and have some good old fashion Mixed Martial Art fights. ¡®Ah mixing all my fighting styles into one breaking noses and arms in a bloody arena, it¡¯s just so calming for the mind.¡¯ So when we got to the front gate instead of straight up killing everyone I yelled this. ¡°HEY ANY BITCHES WANT TO HAVE A GOOD OLD FIST FIGHT!¡± As I¡¯m sure you guessed they were not very happy being called bitches and I got comments like ¡°what the fuck did you say!¡± or ¡°who the fuck are you!¡± and ¡°who dares to challenge me¡±. Wait the fuck was the last one? Looking up I see a man that if I had seen him from the back would have thought he was a chick with his long blonde hair like that chick I ¡®played¡¯ with and he had purple eyes. ¡°My name is Heng Hong Xie a lord Elf of World Shi Xin and continent Gu Shou and member of the great Xie clan¡± He said, his voice filled with pride. ¡°Hey I¡¯m Arthas no last name; gigolo of earth and crazy person¡± I said, back filled with the same pride. But then I looked and laughed at him ¡°haha doesn¡¯t Hong mean Rainbow HAHA!¡± ¡°What no¡­ well yes but that¡¯s for females and it¡¯s spelled differently¡± he shouted back his face red from anger and fist clenched tight. ¡°haha ok rainbow dash shall we get to fighting then. Oh and how about a deal you beat me and I let you and your men live and I¡¯ll work for you; but if I win I eat your cores¡± I smile ¡°sound like a deal hehe¡± I added a chuckle. ¡°Fine lets fight then!¡± He said, in anger walking close to me. All his men made a circle around us outside the gate then I looked at Akino and asked. ¡°Why are elf names so feminine?¡± She just shook her head and said ¡°Well from what I know of Elf¡¯s, gender is not that big of a deal there¡± ¡®OH. That just seems to fit Elf¡¯s too well; their like the ancient Greeks¡¯ then I looked around and saw that his group was a sausage party and said. ¡°So that¡¯s why all the people in his group are men¡± I nodded my head with understanding, with my hand on my chin like I¡¯ve solved a hard math problem. ¡°No it¡¯s that there are very few females in purgatory¡± Akino said, then sighed and sat down at the edge of the circle. ¡°Ok well let¡¯s fight¡± I got in my Muay Thai stance The elf just nodded his head and got in his really bad fighting stance; it looked like one of those Karate or Kung Fu fighting stances that make you ask yourself ¡®how do you fight like that¡¯. He had his right leg far in front and left far in the back; keeping his body lowered to the ground. Then his arms, he had his left one over his head and right one like a snake in front of him. I laughed in my head in moved forward every step I brought my leg doing the Thip (literally means "foot jab" and said as ¡®Theep¡¯) dance which means my front left leg comes up off the ground and taps the ground twice; it just keeps the foot loose for when you kick. When I got close the first thing I did was a Roundhouse Kick with my left leg right to his front right leg my foot (Taekwondo style of kick to use your foot; Muay Thai kicks use shins) slicing at his calf; this caused him to lose balance. ¡®It seems his style didn¡¯t have leg kicks to deal with¡¯ I laughed at how bad his stance was. Next right after my Roundhouse Kick I did a quick Thip with my left leg to his now open chest pushing him back and as I walked up to him and faked a Thip with my left leg instead brought it back and did what is called a superman punch with my left hand to his open face; as he had brought his hands down to block his chest. I stopped my attacks and let him have a break ¡°How dare you kick my leg!¡± he shouted at me nose broken and bloody. ¡°What it was just so open that I had to¡± I said, shrugging my shoulders He just made a growling sound and walked forward limping a little on his left. He had another weird stance and did some weird Kung Fu stuff with his hands. I just continued with my Thai stance and Thip dance (which is switching between a tap, tap step and a tap and step). He got close and with a ¡®ah¡¯ shout punched with his right hand almost like a upper cut but straight; which I answered with leaning back on my right leg and with my left knee and left elbow hit his arm from on top and bottom. Snap! A snap was heard as his arm snapped between the knee and elbow; then putting my left foot down I used a TKD (TaeKwonDo) snap Roundhouse Kick with my right leg (the TKD kick is a fast snap and the other Thai kick is a slower harder swing kick). After taking the kick right behind his ear, his body went limp and it fell to the ground. ¡°Hmm that was too easy¡­ anyone else?¡± I asked the crowded around me stepping away from the now unconscious elf ¡°And I hope you do better than Rainbow here¡± I added with a grin. ¡°I can fight, but my clan¡¯s art is a pit grappling art¡± a large bulky man said, walking forward out of the crowd. ¡®The fuck he¡¯s like 6¡¯5 in height; the shit does this guy eat¡¯ I thought then smiled larger and yelled ¡°Fuck ya let¡¯s do this¡± Two people came from the crowded and removed their unconscious leader which makes me ask why he¡¯s even the leader. In front of the bulky man I had told him there would be no punching or kicking and we would have to get the other man to tap out and set Akino as the referee. ¡°Ready¡± Akino asked me, a little sadness in her eyes but I nodded. ¡°Ready¡± she asked the man that the sadness was for but she only showed her emotions to me hehe I¡¯m special to her. ¡°Fight!¡± Akino yelled The man ran at me reaching for me with both hands; so I side stepped to his left grabbing his arm with my left hand near the elbow and right hand grabbing his two middle fingers and pulled his arm down pushing his elbow letting him fall from his own weight and force. As he fell I stepped over his left arm grabbed his arm¡¯s wrist with my left hand; then with his arm between my legs sat down on his side. He tried to keep me off his back by spinning on to it, but because I had his arm and was sitting on his side that when he was on his back it put me in the perfect place for an arm bar. ¡°3 seconds to tap or I break it¡± I said, pulling the arm back ¡°2¡± he kept trying to pull his arm out, so I pushed is farther by sliding it to the left. ¡°3 Snap!¡± I counted to three and snapped his arm pushing it and it bent around my left thigh ¡°AHHHH!¡± he shouted in pain and started to tap on the ground so I then let go. ¡°Arthas wins¡± Akino said, and then walking up to the screaming man grabbed his arm and snapped it into place and then punched him in the head to knock him out. ¡®Shit she can be scary let¡¯s stay off of her bad side¡¯ I thought advise I¡¯d forget to follow later. ¡°Well anyone else this is for your survival¡± I said, but after saying that a man came forward with his weapon and said. ¡°Why do we have to listen to you, guys I¡¯ll take care of him¡± the man ran at me with a large broad sword. As he got close he swung his sword down but I ran straight past him at lightning speed. Then 2 seconds later his neck started to bleed and his weapon disappeared; as his body fell to the ground limp. ¡°And that¡¯s why I¡¯m giving you a chance in terms of weapon use you have no chance against me and I want some fun here¡± I said, waving around the dagger in the air as I talked. I turned when I heard movement behind me and saw two black haired twins with sharp green eyes. ¡°We will fight if we can have a 2 on 1 fight¡± one of the twins said, with a polite bow; but Akino didn¡¯t like it and step forward. ¡°2 on 1 do you have no sham¡­¡± I stopped her by reaching my hand out on her chest to stop her; plus I may or may not have cupped a feel of her breast causing her to glare at me with red cheeks. ¡°It¡¯s ok Akino I¡¯ll fight them¡± I said, pretending nothing happened ¡°So what type of fighting then¡± I asked. ¡°We would like to do all of them; punching, kicking and grappling¡± the other twin said, with a bow as well. ¡°Sure then let¡¯s have fun¡± I said, taking a new stance. The stance was a stance of Taekwondo from the style of the North Korean military ITF; the stance was more sideways with your body faced to the side a little; your hand in the back stayed on your chin and your front stayed low by your side in the flicker jab form. I am using ITF TKD because it¡¯s loose and fast paced; it lets you kick all around you and with quick what I call ¡®black eyed punches¡¯ (guess why it¡¯s called that haha) that makes them lose sight of your kicks by punching quickly at their eyes before you kick. The twins look at me confused at my change of stance but both started to slowly walk at me from both sides. I held my ground because I can fight both of them due to this style being ambidextrous (can fight with left in front or right). The one on my right came running at me. I switched to having him in front of me as I parried his right hand punch; then two quick jabs with my left to his eyes I jumped up bringing my knee up and kicked it backward. The kick hit the other twin that was behind me in the face he had blocked at the last second and stumbled back but his nose started to bleed. When I landed on my left foot I spun my body performing a back hook kick with my right leg hitting the first twin I¡¯ll call twin 1. The kick hit twin 1 behind the ear causing his legs to wobble and now faced the second twin I¡¯ll call twin 2. With my left leg in the front I did a little jump toward him and side push kicked with my left hitting him in the chest knocking him back. I walked back putting both in front of me I smiled and said. ¡°Very good, very good indeed you two fight together a lot right, you¡¯re not bad.¡± ¡°How do you move like that?¡± twin 2 asked me. ¡°Simple really it¡¯s all in the hips; a woman can bring more out of this style then I can though¡± I answered ¡°so round two then?¡± ¡°Right¡± twin 1 said, finally stopping his legs from wobbling They both came at me from the front this time and when they got close both threw a kick; one low one high. But I dodged the kicks by stepping back a bit, then after the kicks I moved and side push kicked the twin on the left twin 1. Twin 2 threw a punch at me from the right I leaned back just for the punch missed and at the same time grabbed his left arm. Then using my left leg to pivot lifted my right leg and side push kicked with it straight into his throat digging in my heel. I brought my foot back grabbed twin 2¡¯s collar with my left hand I threw him at the returning twin 1 that was punching, forcing him to stop and catch his brother. I ran toward twin 1 stepped a foot behind his legs pushed my palm into his face and slammed him on the ground and BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) mounted him. Then with my elbows and fists I reformed his face for a good 20 seconds. I got up and looked at the two; twin 1 had his face full of blood and was full swollen and twin 2 had his throat crushed by my kick due to me digging in my heel and had died. ¡°Well anyone else? Oh I know let¡¯s do fist only!¡± I said, with excitement. ¡°I fight with my fist¡± a short but muscled man said, stepping out and was looking nervous after seeing what I did to the twins. I grinned and told him to come here and got in my Muay Thai stance but didn¡¯t do the Thip dance since there was no kicking. The man took his stance which I have to say is the best I¡¯ve seen so far here; hands up high legs close together a stance that shows he fights with his hands. He walks up throwing two left punches at me then a hard right. I slipped the first punch, parried the second and on the hard right dropped my body and rowed under the punch to the right and punched my left in a hard jab right into his jaw then turned my body and threw a right hook to his side. The man collapsed from the hit on his jaw. ¡°Dam I didn¡¯t think you¡¯d have a glass jaw¡­ well you guys lose¡­ time to start then¡± I said, taking out my dagger and slipping on my skeleton mask. -------------- After a few minutes Akino and I had finished off most of the men here; the rest had run away. Akino looked at me as I took off my mask showing my still smiling face and asked. ¡°I¡¯ve been meaning to ask you something if that¡¯s ok¡± as she started to drain the blood of the dead men into large vials. ¡°Sure go ahead¡± I said, doing the same task but taking and slipping the cores into my mouth and swallowing them. ¡°Those girls you¡­ you¡± ¡°Raped is what you wanted to say¡± she had trouble saying the word so I helped her. ¡°Right do you feel bad for raping them or more like was it needed is what I wanted to ask¡± she seemed very troubled with speaking on the topic so I said this. ¡°Here are your answers then, do I feel bad? I regret waiting till I was 22 to get the guts to kill a bitch that raped me as a child and letting more children suffer under her.¡± I stopped gathering blood and cores and took a deep breath ¡°I Regret removing the breaks on the car of a target that ended up killing him and his three kids, I regret killing a police officer, her husband and¡­ their 3 year old child¡­ I regret living a life of a murderer¡­ I REGRET LOVING THE LIFE OF BEING A MURDERER!¡± I Yelled and clenched my fist till my palms bled from my nails. Then I walked slowly over to Akino who had stopped her task and was staring at me and I continued ¡°I regret having to wear my fa?ade of a happy upbeat person to hide the killer I am¡± I said this softly with a smile that looked warned out. As I got to Akino she had a single tear in her eye I raised my hand to her face which caused her to close her eyes afraid of my yelling and what I was going to do. But I used my hand to lightly wipe her tear away; it caused her to open her eyes and look at me and with my right hand now under her chin I said with a soft gentle tone. ¡°We have two choices in life wallow in the regret of your past or¡­ live past it. Live for tomorrow not your regrets.¡± I touched my forehead to Akino¡¯s looking her in her ice blue eyes that were slightly red from holding back tears. ¡°Don¡¯t let regret chain you and make you¡­ don¡¯t be me Akino¡± then I kissed her forehead, turned and walked away. After that we gathered the blood of our victims and as we were leaving I heard Akino whisper something behind me in a tone she most likely didn¡¯t think I¡¯d hear. ¡°Thank you¡­ for letting me know not to regret the life I lived in the past¡­¡± I just smiled as we continued toward the Gateway of World Asura; with Akino following behind me. ---------------------------------------------------Miya¡¯s POV.---------------------------------------------- We came up to a well-known camp run by an Elf by the name Heng Hong Xie. But all we saw was a camp filled with dead bodies with their cores removed and blood drained. ¡°Well his name is ¡®The Soul Eater¡¯ for a reason¡± one of the girls said. ¡®This is crazy, how are we going to catch this creep¡¯ I thought seeing the bodies with all their throats slashed open. I walked around looking for anything that tells me where they¡¯re going when I heard a sound that sent a shiver through my soul. AOOOOOO! I looked behind me to see a two headed hound. They had ice blue flames that burned in their empty eye sockets; they had jet black fur and had black mist flowing off their bodies. On the two heads that looked like wolfs heads their every breath released the ice blue flame and the drool that fell from their mouths was black and it ate at the ground it hit. Its claws were blue and seemed to burn and freeze the ground at the same time; but the worst part was¡­ how huge it was. It was about 2-3 meters tall and 4 meters in length even their tails added about half a meter to it and add that there are 5 of them! GGGRRRRRR! ¡°AHHHH!¡± two girls screamed as one of the beast with its two heads had grabbed them both. After that I ran I don¡¯t remember how long I ran for but when I stopped all I saw was emptiness¡­ I was alone. ¡®Orthrus Death hounds I thought they were fake legends¡¯ I thought, remembering hearing them from a client once; he said that one grims couldn¡¯t get to you they¡¯d send Orthrus Death hounds after you. Who knew they were real. ------------- Sob Sob I started to cry the first two girls that were grabbed had their flesh melted by the black drool in the Orthrus¡¯s mouth. ¡®Dead all dead my companions, my co-workers, my friends¡­ all dead¡¯ I thought crying. I cried for a long time, alone in the waist land of purgatory when I heard a sound. GRRRRRRRRR! ¡®PLEASE GODS!¡¯ I turned trembling to see an Orthrus behind two heads with flaming sockets for eyes staring at me. ¡®PLEASE HELP ME!¡¯ the two heads went in for bites causing me to scream out. Chapter 6 To help or not to help Akino and I have been walking for a while now without saying a word to each other. I guess I said too much again as she¡¯s just following behind me. But I heard running behind us then I heard a girl shout out, causing Akino and I to stop. ¡°Stop, Stop please! Please help me!¡± I turned my head first seeing the beautiful Akino then a tall black haired woman running at us; it was the one of the girls from Ladies hold that I had assaulted. Seeing her coming closer she stops in front of Akino with her hands on her knees head down and breathing heavy. ¡°Thank you so much¡± she said, to Akino. But when she saw me her eyes filled with fear; but it was too late I had slammed my foot into her chest slamming her body onto the ground. I kept my foot on her chest as she groaned from the pain and being out of breath. ¡°Oh if it isn¡¯t the girl I fucked in ladies hold and what do I owe the pleasure of this visit¡± I asked her, pushing down on my foot. ¡°I, I was with my group trying to find you but we were attacked; I¡­ I don¡¯t even ¡®Sob¡¯ even know if any are alive¡± she said starting to burst into tears. Akino grabbed my shoulder and nodded at me to release my foot. Then she helped the girl up and let the girl sit on her knees; Akino then started to ask questions. ¡°What¡¯s your name; from what I see from your violet coloured eyes you¡¯re an elf right?¡± The girl nodded ¡°I am an elf and my name is Daiyu Mar¡± she said, starting to stop her sobbing. ¡°May I Call you Dai¡± Akino asked getting a nod from the girl ¡°OK Dai what world are you from.¡± ¡°I¡¯m from World Shi Xin, continent Zui hou. I was a sworn priestess of the Elven god Ai An Juan¡± she said, a sad look on her face. ¡°Dai can you tell me what happened to your group¡± Akino asked with a stern voice. You don¡¯t mean Orthrus Death Hounds do you!?¡± Akino slightly shouted, a little panic could be heard in her voice and she got a nod from Dai. ¡°Arthas this is bad those Orthrus death hounds are most likely after us¡± Akino said, standing up and walking to me with a very serious face ¡®The Dai chick isn¡¯t lying to us hmm. We need to move faster now; I should stop fooling around now¡¯ I then looked at Dai after thinking to myself and said. ¡°So Dai tell me why I should take you with us and not slit your throat right now¡± I took out my dagger and waited for an answer. ¡°I¡­ I can give you tons of items!¡± Dai said, afraid as her eyes followed the dagger that kept switching between my hands. ¡°Strike one! So we traveled like this for a full 4 years and as we traveled we kept hearing info on the Orthrus hounds as they got closer and closer to us. I knew I¡¯d have to fight these beasts one day; but in these 4 years I had increased my usage on the power of my dagger. So today I¡¯ve decided to add the wind rune to my dagger. ¡°Well let¡¯s do this¡± I said, as Akino watched over me As I added the wind rune; the rune lit up the tornado symbol on the wind rune let off a yellow light and the dagger let off red, blue and black lights. Then the daggers lights reached out and pulled in the wind rune out of my hand; as the runes mixed there was no big reaction like the first time as the wind rune seemed to meld together with the fire and ice rune making them stronger. ¡°Impossible, how did you do that!?¡± Dai said, astonished at what had happened in front of her eyes. ¡°I can¡¯t believe your theory is working¡± Akino shook her head ¡°If people in the outside world saw this; the very world as we know it would change¡± Akino said, with a sigh; knowing that somehow this man¡¯s knowledge on magic was most likely higher than hers now. ¡°Well this is cool¡­ time for a test then¡± I said, pumped for the power upgrade I got. --------- In our travels in the last 4 years I¡¯ve learned a lot from Dai about world Shi Xin. On the world Shi Xin there are 3 continents Chu Ru Kou, Gu Shou and Zui Hou; the Elves home is Gu Shou. When I asked how the Elves got onto World Asura she seemed not to know how ether. -------- As we headed to a nearby camp I saw men surrounding the small set up camp. The men looked over at me and saw the two ladies behind me, they started to smile and some even licked their lips. Then a larger man walked forward all the men in his way moving aside. ¡®Well I know who the leader is¡¯ I thought as the man walked straight up to me stopping right in front of my face. His height was little higher than me causing him to tilt his head down to look at me. ¡°Well, well, well it¡¯s been decades since I¡¯ve seen ladies as beautiful as you¡± looking at Akino and Dai caused the man to almost drool ¡°Ladies how about you hang with me and my men we¡¯ll show you a good time¡­ at least more than this wimp little shit! HEHE!¡± the man said, looking back at me grinning and chuckling. The two girls sat back and started to talk with each other not paying any attention to the large man that was talking. I shook my head and sighed and said this in one large breath. ¡°Man do you really have to be so stereotypical; I mean I get it you¡¯re the big muscled up tough guy but come on be a little new with your content¡­ and let me tell you a few things about these girls AHEM the one with the black hair was raped by me and is scared to death of me and the silver haired one is just as strong as me if I didn¡¯t have my let¡¯s say ¡®special¡¯ little dagger.¡± I finished out of breath and grinned at the man. I backed up as they swung them at me from both sides. I used the wind runes power to increase my speed and slammed my dagger into one of their weapons with a huge amount of force sending it back; then ran past him just dodging the second man¡¯s weapon. As I slipped past the one guy, he tried to bring his weapon back but I just sliced his throat. I then sent out fire and added some wind element to it at the second man. The result was a huge blast of hot yellow flame; rather than the normal red flame. The Flame burned the man to a crisp in seconds; the rest of them seeing this started to back off. The larger man face turned to a scowl and he grabbed a smaller thin man and threw him to the front. ¡°Don¡¯t bother coming back here if you can¡¯t beat him¡± the large man said, with a scowl still on his face. The new man stood up and looked at me timidly then pulled out a long staff about 8 feet long (aka a Chang gun staff). As he stepped toward me he started to spin the staff around himself moving the long staff with ease. As he stepped toward me he jabbed with the end of his staff, as I stepped to the side the staff swung to the side forcing me to block with my dagger and step back. The man spun the staff more and did multiple strikes at me; causing me to have to dodge the staff by a ? of an inch. I could smell and almost taste the blood and death coming from that staff. The man¡¯s staff skills were great and from what I saw he had an earth rune in his staff. The staff once again came jabbing at me I willed the ice and wind element out of my dagger and touched the tip of his staff. As they touched the staff started to freeze and thanks to the wind element the ice moved fast freezing the staff user¡¯s hands. He looked in surprise at his hands. Slash! Cough He coughed and fell to the ground dead as I had slashed his throat. Then I looked as the staff disappeared and my face sunk! ¡°FUCK! The god dam earth rune!¡± I looked at the surprised large man ¡°you better have an earth rune¡± I said, and then started to mumbled cusses to myself. ¡®Fuck I was having too much fun and forgot the earth rune dam!¡¯ I thought to myself; but the larger leader man was very angry and his face had turned red. ¡°Fine I¡¯ll do it my dam self¡± he said, taking out a large battle axe. The battle axe blade was a circled and was jagged all around the blade; it looked like a saw blade on a grey stick. The blade was bigger than my head and the overall length of the weapon was about 6 feet long. He wield it like it had no weight and¡­ it had an earth rune! Grinning at seeing the earth rune I charged at the axe wielding man and as he swung at me I used my dagger and threw it at his right foot. This caused the weapon to veer of course letting me dodge down to the ground and after I ran at the man coming up close and punched him in the throat. I leaned down and picked up my dagger out of his foot. His weapon was now out of his hand having dropped it after being struck in the throat. I put the dagger to his throat and asked him something. ¡°Hey do you think you can remove the rune on your dagger please¡± I asked I a polite tone But before he could answer more men came at me. So I channelled the darkness element and wind element and swung at the charging men. The result was horrifying; all the men even the one¡¯s in the back were sliced in half in a split second. The wind element had sped up the darkness element giving the 23 other men no time. I looked down at the ex-leader and asked him again to remove the rune; this time he agreed as long as I didn¡¯t kill him. Well I crossed my fingers so I killed him anyways; after that my party of 3 entered the camp. The camp had been built at the top of a flat hill and in the middle they had dug a hole and placed 4 guards around it. Akino took charge and slice the 4 men¡¯s heads off in the blink of an eye and what we saw was what I had thought was happening. Women were in the hole; 8 to be exact and they were in horrible condition. Akino and Dai helped them out of the hole; I didn¡¯t help as I felt¡­ off. ¡°Akino I think we need-¡± I was cut off by screaming I turned to see an Orthrus head biting the head of one of the ¡®saved¡¯ women. As I saw this I ran up to the Orthrus and slashed its ¡®busy¡¯ sides head the dagger slashed through. But the black blood that leaked out was like the poisonous saliva and burned the ground it touched. ¡®Dam it this doesn¡¯t work¡¯ I thought as I moved back I turned and saw Akino and Dai fighting 3 more Orthrus¡¯s. Seeing this I ran over and as I got up to the two girls I saw that Dai was in trouble but Akino was not having it easy as she was fighting two and defending the women they¡¯d saved. But without a second thought ran and grabbed Akino¡¯s hand sliced with black mist stopping the 2 Orthrus attacking her even cutting two heads in half but they started to grow back. Then dragged Akino with me and started to run; but Akino stopped me when we were a little farther away and yelled at me. Two of the Orthrus¡¯s heads had grabbed Dai¡¯s lower legs and hip and the other Orthrus¡¯s heads got her upper chest and head. ¡°AAAAAAAAARGH!¡± Rip! Crunch! Dai¡¯s blood curdling scream, Crunches of bone, tearing of flesh and muscles could be heard. Akino looked at me and yelled. ¡°Why, why didn¡¯t you help her, I could hold them off for a little¡± tears could be seen in her ice blue eyes ¡°why did you leave her to die! And the other women we have to help them!¡± I started to force Akino to move seeing the Orthrus were starting on their other ¡®meals¡¯ screams of pain and horror could be heard from the once ¡®saved¡¯ women. ¡®These meals will keep them busy for now¡¯ I thought; then I looked at Akino and said. ¡°Akino the only thing that matters to me is that you¡¯re safe and Dai completed her task she had no use to us and damaged women have no use to me¡± ¡°How can you say that Dai traveled with us for 4 years she was a friend and those women are innocent they need help!¡± Akino was yelling and fearful of my lack of care for Dai and those women. ¡°Akino, she was your friend not mine; to me she was my death row prisoner that had her time come and those women are in purgatory they are murders and killers just like us.¡± I looked at Akino as she had stopped us again then looked at a Orthrus running at us and said leaning closer to Akino ¡°Akino all I care about in this realm is you¡± after that I kissed her on the lips. Her face turned red and I started to pull her again running from the Orthrus. I headed for a known trading center. As we got close I looked to see the other 2 Orthrus had joined up; making 3 Orthrus hounds chasing us. I ran through the gate of the stone wall, slicing the throat of the guards that had tried to stop us and as I was half way through the trading center screams could be heard as the Orthrus had made it inside. I found the other exit on the other side and kept running. We ran for days without rest when finally I stopped and looked at a blanked faced Akino. ¡®I guess that kiss really shocked her huh¡¯ I thought and started to snapped my fingers in front of her face. She looked at me a started to blush and said ¡°why¡­ why did you kiss me.¡± ¡°Well we needed to move and you were sad and angry at me; so I thought kissing you would help¡± I said, with a smile. ¡°¡­..¡± she looked at me and sat down on the grey ground ¡°why didn¡¯t you help her at least¡­¡± she asked me again. ¡°Because she was not a priority to me and she had no use to me¡± I said the smile disappearing from my face. ¡°Will you do the same to me then?¡± she asked, bringing her knees up to her chest and looking at the ground. ¡°No. Never, I couldn¡¯t even bare the idea of leaving you Akino¡± I said, kneeling down beside Akino ¡°Akino you are the only person that has made me feel like a person rather than a monster since childhood¡± ¡°But Dai did the same¡± She said, in a light tone. ¡°Dai was always scared of me; she doesn¡¯t have the power that you have to not fear me¡± I said, with a gentle smile ¡°Haha at first I could be said to be equal to you but now¡­ now I don¡¯t think so¡± Akino looked up from the ground and looked at me with gentle glittering eyes. Seeing her like that I moved in and kissed her again this time Akino was shocked again but closed her eyes and as I moved my hand up her body to her breast; her hand stopped me. ¡°We¡­ we can¡­ can¡¯t do this now!¡± she said, in a panicked tone as she wiped her lips. ¡°Ok, ok you have a point¡± I got off the ground and smirked ¡°Later then¡± Akino just kept sitting on the ground face fully flushed; hand clutched in a fist over her heart. -------- Akino¡¯s POV. ¡®HE- He kissed me¡­ never in my life was I kissed who¡¯d have thought my first kiss was in purgatory hehe¡¯ I thought with a giggle to myself. Then I looked at Arthas and thought ¡®why is he like this I- I want to know more about him and about his past life. ¡°Hey Arthas can you tell me in detail of your childhood¡± he looked at me with that smile of his ¡°I just wish to know more about you¡± He stopped walking a thought for a sec then said ¡°ok but first tell me your story of your life for I can know more about you¡± ¡°OK- Ok but you have to keep your promise¡± he nodded at me so I started ¡°well it was 70 years ago now¡± ---------- WORLD ASURA 70 YEARS AGO CONTINENT YUN 8 year old Akino: I have listened to the teachers lessen for 4 hours now; but at least this is the easiest part of my day before this we had warm ups of running 200 Po (about 656.17 feet) around the sects¡¯ track twice. These lessons teach us how to use shadow magic, how to be a good assassin and the sects rules. Thanks to shadow magic being a darkness element magic we are hunted by the holy union. This means that the sect kidnaps young girls to be its disciples; this includes me and the other girls in my class. After the lesson ended we headed outside and trained and sparred for hours. This time a girl was killed by a wooden weapon crushing her throat; she had struggled for breath for a few minutes the instructor even forced us to watch her die. As I curled up in a ball on my bed and I cried¡­ cried for a girl I had just talked to, had been even nice to me being gone. That had been the first time I¡¯ve seen someone die directly in front of me. 10 year old Akino: We have spent the last week executing prisoners; they said we had to get used to death. For the first 3 days it was hard but then I got¡­ numb to the feeling but not the smell; the smell of iron and feces. Who knew peoples bowels emptied after they died most of the girls vomited after the smell first leaked out; but now we can keep our food down at least. We all have weapons we specialise in, I use a needle sword the blade is 3.5 Zo wide (about 1.4 inches) and 91 Zo long (about 35.8 inches) a flexible weapon. The weapon uses the theory of soft to defeat hard; due to how flexible my body is it¡¯s a good weapon for me. As I head to my dorm I see two girls fighting; they are older than my groups¡¯ girls by a year. The two use short spear like weapons that have curved blades and as they fight at fast speeds due to the shadow magic they use. The magic makes their bodies turn into black mist, the fight lasted a long time and I watched the whole thing. The fight ended when a girl caught the other girl with her blade on the neck. ¡°What are you looking at you little bitch¡± an older girl said, to me as she went to the girl that had just won. I looked at her then turned to walk away, the older girl started to walk at me and grab my shoulder. But as she was about to; I pulled out my sword and it stopped on her neck just Zo away from cutting her head off. ¡°Leave now.¡± I said, in a cold voice. This got a nod from the older girl and I sheathed my weapon; but as I turned around the girl pulled out her weapon which was the same as the other girls. Then slashed at my back; I used the shadow magic to let the weapon pass through me the spun and lobbed her head off. The other girls looked at me surprised then scared and I turned to see an instructor standing there. ¡°The master would like to see you Akino¡± she said, with a blank cold face and emotionless voice. I nodded and followed the instructor; she then led me to a large old looking building, then down large stairs that led deep into the ground. We stopped in front of a large stone door; then the door opened and leaked black mist and an ancient voice spoke. ¡°MARY YOU MAY LEAVE NOW¡± The instructor bowed and left then the voice spoke again but this time to me. ¡°ENTER IN SIDE AKINO WE NEED TO SPEAK¡± I bowed like the instructor did and entered the dark, mist filled stone room. As I was half way into the room the door slammed shut. I looked around but no one was there then I asked the voice. ¡°Where are you?¡± ¡°ALL AROUND YOU GIRL, I¡¯M THE MIST AND THE SHADOWS AND THE SHADOWS AND MIST ARE ME¡± the ancient voice said. The mist in the room spun around me and formed into a beautiful woman in front of me. ¡°HELLO GRIL YOU HAVE MANY QUESTIONS I¡¯M SURE BUT I¡¯LL LET YOU ASK LATER. My first mission is a simple assassination mission; my target is a mayor of a small town. But the mayor is a paranoid man and his home is heavily guarded. As I snuck up to his home I see it¡¯s a large mansion in a town of houses that look more like shacks. The mansion has a large wall around it with patrols; so I wait till night time to sneak in. Night time hit and I willed my body into black mist and spread it low to the ground blending in with the ground and passed right through a crack in the wall. I proceeded into the house and stopped in front of the door where I willed the mist to reform my body. That had taken a lot of mana out of me and I only have enough mana to leave this place. So I entered the room silently; I saw my target sleeping in his bed and I walked silently next to him. That¡¯s when I saw his small child sleeping next to him; thinking of my masters¡¯ words ¡°Cut your conscience and complete your mission regret comes later¡± I pulled out my blade and added my black mist to it and stabbed into his heart. The mist filled his body and he couldn¡¯t make a noise or even move then he died; died next to his sleeping child. I walked over to his window and opened it then stepped into the window sill and waited. Moments later a breeze came and as it passed I willed my body in to mist and floated away within the breeze. That was my first mission nothing exciting or hard just another mission and it continued till I was 26. 26 year old Akino: My sect has been on edge lately due to the holy union closing in on us. My sect is located in the mountains surrounded by a barrier that keeps people from finding us. But the leader of the investigation is a 3 soul immortal; which is more powerful than our 2 soul immortal. Boom! A loud bang could be heard then a booming voice shouted out making my eardrums feel like they were bleeding. ¡°Demons and heretics, your day of doom has come¡± An old man floated in covered in a blinding golden light. He wore white priest robes with golden straps of cloth hanging off his shoulders. The man¡¯s name was Polygamy Bammer and he wielded a large golden hammer that had white glowing runes all-over it. Whoosh The sound of the wind picked up as black mist leaked out of the and a beautiful woman appeared she had pitch black hair pale white skin and ice blue eyes that seemed to have black mist within. This was my master Kyla Moedashie the immortal of my sect. ¡°SO YOU HAVE COME POLYGAMY¡± said my master, in her ancient voice ¡°YOU GET BORED OF YOUR WIVES HMM¡± ¡°HAHA funny Kyla, but no it¡¯s time for you demons to DIE!¡± the man¡¯s voice boomed ¡°Men for the GOD of light and grace¡± All the holy unions¡¯ soldiers ran in to the sect then I heard in my ear a whisper from my master ¡°Go, save the children Akino¡± I nodded and ran to the dorms and started to gather the children getting them to the back gate killing the men that got in my way but then a man with two large hammers stepped in the way with two others. ¡°Sir what about the children?¡± the younger man asked the man in front. CHILDREN! Ha don¡¯t make me laugh Hoden these are demons not children!¡± the man looked at the young girls and licked his lips ¡°let¡¯s kill them! The man took out a golden long sword and slashed at me. I used my sword to let the long sword pass by me and as my sword hit his it would bend and slash at his throat; but his armor protected his throat. ¡°WHAT ARE YOU DOING!¡± the perverted man yelled ¡°Gordan go help him she can¡¯t turn in to mist or the children behind her will get hurt hehe¡± he said with a creepy chuckle. The Gordan man pulled his large golden axe off his back and came at me with the other man. It didn¡¯t take much for me to get my first cut then second and more and more cuts and within a minute I was full of cuts and was bleeding and breathing heavily. ¡°Dam it how long does this take¡­ well I¡¯ll just get to work with the children hehe¡± the perverted man said, walk toward the children. Seeing this I stressed and as the man approached I knew I had one choice. The two men were slashing and I didn¡¯t block but jumped in-between them taking the hits that almost split me in half. But as I got past I stabbed the perverted man with my sword in his heart. The attack filled him with the black mist as his ears, eyes, mouth and nose leaked the black mist he collapsed to the ground. Seeing the man die filled me with relief, then I collapsed to the ground too and when I looked at my stomach my guts were hanging out mixing with the dirt. The last thing I saw was the children escaping through the gate. Chapter 7 The Childhood of Arthas ¡°Well my story begins when I was 5 so¡­ lets have at it then¡± I looked at Akino as we walked and I told my story losing myself to the past¡­ Earth 2030 North American continent Arthas age 5: This place is so scary, the men here look at us with mean faces and they are forcing us in to shipping containers. The door never opened for 3 days and we had no food or water. When it did open, all that was seen was dehydrated and starved children at least the ones that survived. He kept punching Caleb¡¯s face and only stopped when the drill sergeant stopped him. I looked at Vlad and wished that Alena would lose her match as Caleb was brought away by a medical team. But Alena went up anyways against Jena; Jena was great at judo and Alena was a ground fighter. The two bowed to each other and the drill sergeant started the match. Alena charged over with punches and kicks that Jena blocked and when Alena got a little to close Jena clinched her up. Then with smoothness and ease Jena flipped Alena over onto the ground. After the first matches the sergeant let us have a break as they decided who will fight who and after 30 minutes they came back. The matches went like this: Helene vs Alena and Arthas vs Vlad. Akino¡¯s POV. It¡¯s funny to think the happiest that I¡¯ve ever been is after death in purgatory. But who knew that the man that would make me that happy is a crazy man from another world. I wish to spend eternity with this man to help him and let him know its ok for him to show happiness and sadness. Too bad fate isn¡¯t so nice to him¡­ Cough! A Moment Earlier¡­ GRRRRRRRRRRRR ¡°FUCK!¡± I shout, running to were Akino is. As I get back to her; I see she has put her clothes back on and taken out her sword to block a slash from an Orthrus and it sends her rolling through the tent ripping a hole in the cloth. I ran and with the black mist from my dagger slashed at the Orthrus taking one of its heads off. Then went and stood behind Akino protecting her back and blocking attacks from the hounds. ¡°Akino are you ok!¡± I shout in worry to Akino ¡°Ya I¡¯m fine, are you ok?¡± she asked back ¡°I¡¯m good¡± I sigh in relief a little then ask ¡°hey do you see were that grim is?¡± ¡°No but we should keep an eye out for him!¡± she replied Nodding my head I looked for the grim but the pressure from the Orthrus attacks is getting stronger every second. Every drop of blood and saliva burns your skin and the flames from their mouths make it hard to attack them back; so blocking is all you can do and that keeps getting harder. Whip The grims whip catches my hand and stops me from slicing down the middle of an Orthrus. Bam! The Orthrus I was about to slice in half; moves away from me and one of the Orthrus¡¯s from my side head butts me sending me out of the circle. ¡®AKINO!¡¯ I scream in my head getting off the ground I had hit and then ran toward the Orthrus¡¯s. One of the Orthrus¡¯s come at me and with an idea from what happened a second ago I charge an attack of black mist and the wind element. As the Orthrus approached I flung out my attack. Swissssshhh I aimed the attack right down the middle of the Orthrus between its heads. The attack sliced the Orthrus in half and two bloody slabs of meat fell to the ground. The Orthrus¡¯s turned their head to me and then Akino used this chance to jump on to the back of an Orthrus and stab it in the back. AOOOOOOO The hound yelled in pain but didn¡¯t die do to Akino¡¯s weapon not being strong enough. I ran up to that Orthrus and with the Earth element I had added to my dagger slammed it on the handle of Akino¡¯s weapon. Her weapon stabbed fully in to the beast¡¯s heart causing its body to shake violently as its life slipped away; then we jumped off and dodged away from a few more attacks. I looked at Akino and said ¡°Hey these things aren¡¯t that hard to kill¡± Whip! How wrong I was to say that because as I had, that grim with the whip had used the whip to catch Akino¡¯s weapon in midblock. She couldn¡¯t block the Orthrus¡¯s attack and was sent flying where I caught her. Then holding her tightly I powered up an attack mixing the black mist and earth element and stabbed the dagger into the ground. Boom The attack sent the Orthrus¡¯s back. Though they weren¡¯t hurt much from the attack just some limbs missing; but they were already healing back. Then I looked down at the girl that I was holding firm and my face went blank. She had a slash running deep across her chest and a river of blood was rushing out. Her right arm was missing and her left leg was barely hanging on. I saw she was trying to say something but her chest damage kept her from saying loud words so I leaned down. ¡°Arthas¡­ PLe¡­ Please B.. be Happy¡± she smiled at me then said one final thing ¡°hold me¡­ I don¡­ don¡¯t want to¡­ be¡­ be aloneeee¡­..¡± her body went limp; the smile was gone her sparkling eyes now dull. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I howled at the top of my lungs and black mist started to seethe out of my body pushing back the Orthrus¡¯s that had healed and I cried out. ¡°Akino no, no, no, no! Akino! You can¡¯t do this to me!¡± I pushed my head in to her chest as I cried out and then¡­ Laughed! HAHA! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! I lifted my head that was covered in Akino¡¯s blood to the sky and looked at the silver light that sat up in the sky of purgatory and roared out at it. ¡°Gods again you have taken from me! Have I angered you, have I called the suffering of a thousand sinners upon myself!¡± I clenched my fist as my eyes filled with the black moving mist that started too leak out. ¡°Oh Gods, Oh Sovereigns how has this being called your wrath. Then Gods and Sovereigns I say this¡± I stuck the middle finger to the sky ¡°Fuck you! Fuck your rules, fuck your laws! I curse you!¡± After saying I ¡®curse you¡¯; the black mist exploded out of my body pushing dust and Orthrus alike away; then a familiar voice spoke to me. The voice started to speak in my head and I said what it was saying aloud ¡°Give me demons and I¡¯ll drown them in the ocean of my hate, give me despair and I¡¯ll create my own hope for my future, give me no world of my own and I¡¯ll take the worlds from you. You¡¯ll try to break me but my heart and soul is mine.¡± I smashed the ground with my fist creating a crater and yelled some more ¡°I curse the OH so mighty Gods, I curse the OH so divine Sovereigns.¡± I took a long breath and the voice said something that confused me. After that the voice went quiet and the mist went down showing the 4 Orthrus¡¯s that were left and the single grim. I stood up and threw my dagger at the grims head with the wind element added to it. Swish The dagger stabbed the grim in the right eye socket and the grim stumbled back and when it lifted its head I was in front of it. I stabbed my hand into its chest and pulled out its black core and stuck it into my mouth and swallowed it. The sour core entered into my body and I felt thousands of souls move through my body giving me a huge amount of energy. I looked at the Orthrus¡¯s but the hounds bowed their heads and turned and ran. Seeing this I stumbled over to Akino¡¯s body and kneeled in front of the mangled corpse of the second woman I had loved¡­ I held the dagger in front of me and I spoke aloud to myself. ¡°To be alive is to follow the rules of gods, to be a rightful soul is to follow the laws of sovereigns¡­ never again¡± Stab! I drove my dagger into my core causing blood to spurt out onto Akino¡¯s body from my chest. As I was blacking out the dagger started to meld into my core and black mist shot out of my eyes, ears, nose and mouth; then the dagger was gone, I felt weak and the black mist around me was gone. ¡°Ha, ha, ha, ha¡± I laughed weakly ¡°It seems that voice is not me just being crazy¡± I said, remembering how it had told me to stab the dagger into myself and let it ¡®return¡¯. Then as I was kneeling beside the body of Akino a pale white hand touched my shoulder. I jumped up and knocked the hand away from me and looked at the person in front of me; he had a hood that hid his face in blackness. ¡°ARTHAS IT SEEMS WE MEET FINALLY¡± the man said; his voice filled with so much power my eardrums felt like they were going to explode. ¡°Who are you?¡± I asked feeling weak and not in the mood to fight someone that seemed so powerful. ¡°MY NAME IS DAMION AND I MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU SAVE THE GIRL BUT¡­¡± before he could say anymore, I grabbed his shoulders with both hands and yelled. ¡°Please I don¡¯t care what you have me do just save her!¡± somehow I felt this man could indeed help me, but no one does anything without wanting something out of you. ¡°HEHE I SEE YOU¡¯RE NOT STUPID; SO TO ANSWER THE QUESTION I CAN SAVE HER SOUL NOT THE VESSEL AND I DO WANT SOMETHING OUT OF YOU¡± Damion said, he spoke like the world belonged to him. ¡°How can you save her?¡± I asked The Damion man took his hood off showing a face that looked like he was no older than 21; but his eyes that were a vortex of black mist showed an ancientness of a long life, ¡°As long as her core is undamaged I can help her reincarnate together with you¡± Damion said, but before I could agree he put up a single finger stopping me and continued. ¡°But I need you to gather grim cores and a lot¡± ¡°I don¡¯t care as long as you save her¡± I said pointing at Akino¡¯s body. Damion nodded his head and walked up to Akino kneeled down beside her body and reached into her chest and pulled out her core then he frowned and looked at me as he stood. He let black mist out of his finger and then added some kind of rune to the core and the bright white core turned to a dull grey colour. He handed it to me and said. ¡°I saved her core but it got hit in the slash so most likely when she reincarnates she won¡¯t remember you¡± them he started to walk away and I grabbed his shoulder to say something he smacked my hand away. Hit felt like he had smashed my hand with a hammer then he grabbed my collar and said. ¡°Now that I¡¯ve helped you it¡¯s time to keep your side of the deal¡± then he smiled. ¡°No. you said you¡¯d save her¡± I said back, as I went to grab his collar. Boom! Before I could grab him he kicked me in the gut sending me flying back and causing me to roll backward a few times. Cough Spit I coughed and spit out some blood. ¡®Fuck how can someone kick like that?¡¯ I thought as the hit reminded me of being hit by that semi. Then I looked up and the man was right in front of me moving at an impossible speed. ¡°Mere Ant what right do you have to demand that I do anything; I said I¡¯d save her soul and I did save it¡± he walked up right in front of my face. I threw a punch filled with black mist but he caught my fist with his hand with ease. Then he lifted me in the air and slammed me into the ground and stepped on my face pressing it into the ground and said. ¡°Listen here boy; I am a follower of the great Evil God and was called the dark lord on my world of World Asura.¡± He let his foot off me and kneeled down beside me ¡°I am a 7th soul Earth Immortal no one in purgatory is a threat to me but the great protectors; so the only reason the Orthrus hounds let you live is because I showed up to help.¡± Him saying that made me realise something and I looked him straight in the eyes and said ¡°so you¡¯re saying that you could have come earlier and saved Akino but you waited till she was gone to get me to owe you a favour¡± I clenched the ground ¡°you could have saved her¡­ you could have fucking saved her!¡± I yelled but he slammed my head into the ground again this time with one hand. ¡°Haha do you think you have lived this long because of your own power¡± he shook his head and smiled at me ¡°your only alive because I let you live that long; it was me that kept the large number of grims away from you and it was me that let only a small number of Orthrus¡¯s after you¡± he lifted my head up to his and said ¡°I¡¯m not your fucking hero but a debt collector¡± He smashed my face into the ground again, this time I blacked out¡­ ----------- When I awoke I was chained to a wall and in front of me was two Orthrus`s hounds sitting and staring at me. I looked around the cell that was keeping me separated from the Orthrus hounds and saw it was made of a black metal. Bark One of the Orthrus hounds barked and I heard someone¡¯s footsteps and the same man as before was in front of me¡­ Damion. ¡°Glad you woke up¡± he said, in an amused tone. ¡°Were is Akino¡¯s soul!¡± I yelled at him. ¡°Right here on me don¡¯t worry its safer here with me then with you¡± he signalled at an Orthrus and it lied down behind him and he sat on it ¡°I feel like I should tell you why I want you to gather Grim cores¡­ so I will¡± ¡®Fuck more god dam life stories¡¯ I thought rolling my eyes. ¡°so it all started when I was on my way to becoming a 8th soul Immortal after waiting 2000 years; but as I was passing the soul test. 7 immortals from the holy union came and attacked me almost killing me but I made it out¡± his face turned sour. ¡°Then some pricks that called themselves ¡®Heroes¡¯ came and attacked me in the name of the holy god of light to stop me from committing more ¡®evil acts¡¯ even though it was the union that had committed those acts¡± he shook his head. ¡°Anyways the damage to my body had brought my power down to a 1st soul immortals power so these pricks only at emperor saint level could force me to sacrifice my body so I could come here, then I created a new body out of magic here and so I can¡¯t go past the power of 7th soul immortal without a new real body¡± he seemed to be getting off topic so I said to him. They leave me alone as long as I don¡¯t cause trouble and this is where you come in; your¡­¡± he was about to say what my job is but I interrupted him. ¡°So my job is to gather grim cores for you and to make sure I do my job, you¡¯re keeping Akino hostage¡± I stopped and looked at the mad Damion ¡°so when I bring back the grim cores everything goes well for us both right no betraying each other we just shake hands and go on our way right¡± ¡°Right¡± he said, nodding his head and looking me in the eyes as I stared him in the eyes. ¡°Hahahaha¡± we both laughed ¡®Ya right like it¡¯s that simple, nothing is ever that simple even he can¡¯t keep a straight face¡¯ I said to myself. ¡°Oh and one more thing I have to say is that the grims jobs our not to just keep people from eating souls but they collect souls too as I¡¯m sure you felt when you ate the grim core¡­ oh and here.¡± He threw a bunch of weapon matter into the cell. Then the chains turned into black mist and were absorbed into Damion¡¯s body he looked at me and said ¡°happy hunting¡± then left. I walked up to the weapon matter and started to drink it and after the first container my arm started to morph and a sword was pushed out of it then my arm returned to normal. ¡®So that¡¯s what they mean about the weapon coming from your body¡¯ I thought then started to drink more weapon matter even pulling out the weapon matter from my void pouch. After drinking and strengthening my weapon I looked at the weapon and saw it was a Katana and was about 2 feet long. The blade was a glossy black and the handle and guard were an ice blue colour. It had an average katana look to it just like the one I used to use before I died. ¡®Oh and you ask why a katana? Well I¡¯ll answer your question with a question why not? But a real answer is because they are badass and you look cool as fuck using them even if they aren¡¯t practical to use¡¯. I looked around and the cell was open with a single Orthrus watching me and when I walked toward it and it stood up and walked past me. I followed it up a lot of stairs and when I got to the top I saw Damion and he looked at me then stared out into the grey and dull nothingness that was purgatory. ¡°2000 years I have stood here looking at this dull place hehe¡± he said and chuckled; as I walked beside him ¡°cute creature¡¯s right¡± he said looking at one of the Orthrus¡¯s. ¡°Sure if that¡¯s what you¡¯re into¡± I said, giving him an appalled look. ¡°Oh I don¡¯t want that look from you of all people hehe¡± he chuckled again ¡°these hounds were made by the Evil God and then were given to the sovereign of death. They are one of the many creatures made by the Evil God as he was the only god capable of creating beings with conscience only; sovereigns should be the only ones able to make beings.¡± He looked at me and I sighed and said ¡°continue.¡± ¡°haha you see the sovereigns were only capable of making one type of being each; the Sovereign of death made the grims but they can¡¯t create more of themselves and only the Sovereign of death can make more of them and they have no real intelligence¡± he smiled as he got more into telling me about this. ¡°Then we have the Sovereign of life who made his helpers the Angels and he tried to make another being but ended up with more powerful Angels he calls the Archangels. The Angels can¡¯t create angels from mating but found a way to make less powerful beings we call the sheng.¡± He took a breath ¡°the sheng are the result made from mortals and angels mating. Oh then there are the fallen angels who have fallen out of grace and are sent to Denma; but I don¡¯t know how they fell out of grace but I do think the Evil God was involved.¡± ¡®Man this guy has been alone for far too long¡¯ I thought feeling a headache coming from all the stuff he was telling me. ¡°Then let¡¯s talk about the beings that the evil god made; he¡­¡± Before he could go on I said ¡°just tell me about the Orthrus¡¯s please I don¡¯t have years to listen to you¡± I said this, even though I do have that long. ¡°Ok fine¡± he sighed ¡°well the Orthrus hounds are hounds he made with the help of the Cerberus hounds as he tore apart the Cerberus hounds and used them as a base to build the Orthrus hounds out of them, anyways the hounds are most of the time used to guard the void just like the grims.¡± He smiled as he looked at the hound again¡± and to help them survive the void he created them with their base being hell fire; that ice blue fire that burns and freezes everything that you see in their eyes. Then he added his own power in the form of a blessing to them which is why they have that black mist coming off them; oh and that black saliva and blood they have is a substance called Corrupting Crud and is poisonous and corrosive hmm¡± He seemed a little too in love with the Orthrus hounds but anyways after more useless stuff about Orthrus¡¯s later he finally got on to the main part. ¡°Oh so just to let you know I need about 60 grim cores and the only way to get that amount is to cause trouble and eating cores is one way but eating peoples souls for too long will hurt you if you don¡¯t let the souls break down first. So just go to trading centers kill all the people and kill the grim that comes to collect the cores¡± he said, like this was going to be easy. ¡°The fuck 60 how many years is this going to take!¡± I yelled at the amount he wanted me to gather. ¡°About 84 years when you add in travel times¡± he said all matter a fact FUCK¡­! -------- After who knows how long of traveling ¡®I stopped counting OK!¡­ or I may have lost count halfway and got mad and said fuck it¡­ believe what you want¡¯. Back to the story; I finally reached a trading center and looking at it I stopped and pulled out my mask. ¡°Even though you¡¯re not here I¡¯ll wear this mask, just for you haha¡± I talked to the sky and slipped on my mask. Then walked toward the front gate and as I started to walk through the stone gateway a guard went to touch me and said. ¡°Hey no masks allowed inside the¡­ AHHHHH¡± he screamed in pain before he could finish what he was saying. As he was about to touch me I cut his arm off at the elbow then after few quick slashes I walked past him as his body fell to pieces; as I had diced him up and yes I was just showing off sue me. The next guard that tried to stop me lost his head ¡®literally¡¯ as it fell from his shoulder. Then two men came over with big swords and with heavy overhead swings brought their weapons down at me. But I added earth element to my body and weapon and blocked both at the same time; causing them to look worried; then I pushed up their weapons, spun and ducked slicing at their waist cutting them in half. So I went through the trading center hacking and slicing even the occasional stab was used and at the end a lot of people died¡­ again. Anyways then I had to wait for the grim¡­ and that bastard made me wait a few god dam days! When he showed up the normal blood cloud and blood rain showed up with him and he entered the center then the grim looked at me and its weapon showed up in its hand; from sovereigns know where. The weapon was one I had seen before Meteor Hammers. ¡®Motherfucking Meteor Hammers grim from a few years ago¡¯ I thought seeing the Meteor Hammers it was holding. I took out my sword and walked toward the grim and the ice blue flames; I found out is called Hell fire lit up in the Meteor Hammers. He started to swing the two hammers on the chains. ¡°YO man remember me!¡± I said to the grim even though they can¡¯t talk¡­ because they our skeletons¡­ The grim just turned its head at me; making me sigh lightly to myself. Then the grim swung the first hammer at me and I bent backward under the hammer and chain then the second hammer on the other side went for my right leg. Still bent backwards I stabbed my sword into the ground and lifted my leg letting the Meteor Hammer wrap around my sword then the first hammer came back at me. I put my weight quickly onto my sword and with one hand did a handstand off my blade just dodging the hammer. Then the hammer that was wrapped up on my sword was pulled by the grim causing the sword to come out of the ground. I pointed the sword at the grim after landing to the ground letting the wrapped chain and hammer slide off my sword. Then as the hammers spun around the grim I charged; but then he kicked one of the hammers at me and before it reached me he pulled it back causing the hell fire within to splash out on to me. I used the black mist to block the flame but I still got burnt; then the second hammer came flying at me horizontally but ducked under it. I started to charge at the grim but found that the closer I was to it the faster the hammers came at me. And after backing off I found out the reach of the dam thing is far; as even after backing off he still flung the Meteor Hammer at me its long chain reaching close to my face. ¡®Fucking shit¡­ how did Akino fight this dam guy¡¯ I thought back to when Akino had fought this guy. Then I got an idea and that was to use a technique of quick draw from the style Iaijutsu. Rip I pulled out a robe and ripped a piece of cloth from it then tied it around myself like a belt; still backing away from the grim. I placed the sword into the ¡®belt¡¯ and held the sword with my right hand and stopped. Then I added some wind element to my blade and charged at the grim trying to dodge the hammers and fire but still getting some burns. Then as I was just close enough to hit the grim I drew my sword and with the wind element my blade was like lightning as it slammed into the grims head. But this wasn¡¯t my dagger and it didn¡¯t cut the grims bones; it did however knock the grim to the ground. As the grim hit the ground I jumped onto it and stabbed my blade into its chest right beside its core adding earth element to it to make the blade stay in the ground. I grabbed its core this time the core started to burn my hand but I still tried to pull it out. AOOOOOO The grim roared in pain as I ripped its black core out of its chest then after a few seconds the core was out. I looked at my now burnt and somewhat frozen hand and sighed ¡¯59 more to go¡¯ I thought getting up and leaving out the gate but stopped at the gate and looked at the wall made of stones and asked myself. ¡°Now where the fuck do they keep getting these large ass rocks from¡± then I shook my head and walked away. --------- 40 years of killing and I can¡¯t say I¡¯ve had it all that easy; I¡¯ve gone through 3 swords. But I finally got a lightning rune; though I don¡¯t know how to add it to my dagger. I sat on the pile of bodies I had made in the middle of a camp. I looked at my chest and then at the rune in my hand and pushed the rune against my chest¡­ nothing happened. ¡°Fuck!¡± I didn¡¯t know what to do as my dagger was now in my core and the voice no longer talked to me. Then I shrugged my shoulders and popped the rune into my mouth and then the rune went off in my chest and lightning attacked the inside of my body. I felt the rune pushing itself toward my core; the pain of this caused me to fall off the pile of bodies I¡¯d made. Then I heard a sound I didn¡¯t need to hear. Rumble! The blood red clouds had showed up, it brought its blood rain and howling wind. I looked at the two grims that were walking into the camp these men had made; still clenching my chest as pain shot through me. ¡°Hey shit! Om YO grims can you guys give me like a minute to finish here, as I may or may not have the ability to move¡± I said on the floor as the lightning from the rune was causing my muscles to spasm and lose most of their strength. But the grims just pulled out their weapons; the one on the left had a long double-sided Glaive and the one on the right had a Ranseur. The Glaive had to long blades at each end of a middle handle and the Ranseur was a spear with cross-like blades at the hilt of the spear, as the two side pieces were blades that were angled forward it looked similar to a trident. The Glaive grim spun his weapon and the Ranseur grim pointed his weapon forward. The Ranseur grim was the first to move and it stabbed downward at the ground where I was laying. I had to use all the strength I could muster to move and after some success I had just moved out of the way of the stab and then I rolled and rolled and rolled some more. The Ranseur grim kept stabbing at me but I kept dodging it by rolling away. This had to look weird as even the Glaive grim was staring at us and had stopped spinning its weapon. Zzzzzap! A zap was heard as purple lightning arced off my body and I felt strength in my body again. I jumped up and called my weapon out and knocked the Ranseur coming at me with the side of my blade; then did an overhead strike to his head. This knocked his head back and I moved up and kicked the left leg of the grim from under it; as it fell I stabbed my sword into its chest. Due to my years of taking grim cores I have found a way of grabbing cores without hurting my hand. As I quickly grab the core I cover my hand in earth element and the black mist; the earth element stops the burning and the black mist lets me pull the core out easily. My actions were very fast and the Glaive grim had no time to reach me and by the time it did reach me I had already put away the core and took my sword back. The grim sliced with one side, which I side stepped then the grim sliced up with the other side. This caused me to have to parry with my sword; but the other side of the Glaive came back down at me and I side stepped that swing. The grim spun the blade at its side and sliced at me horizontally at my right side which I ducked under. With my blade low at my left I upwardly swung at the grim hitting it in were the nuts would be and I also added earth and wind to the strike; making it fast and hard. The grim was lifted into the air a bit and I spun around and stabbed it in the chest. With my sword in its chest I grabbed the handle of the double-sided Glaive with my left hand and with my right leg stepped behind its left leg. Then I pushed with my right and left arm and the grim lost its balance and fell to the ground; where in a second I ripped out its core. ¡°Hot dam, that¡¯s 37 down and 23 more to go!¡­ who am I talking too?¡­ well anyways I think I¡¯ll be done soon yea ¡®clap¡¯ ¡®clap¡¯¡± I clapped and started walking to my next destination ¡°well let¡¯s hope this blade is fine¡± I checked the Katana for chips and saw it was fine; as I had broken 3 swords already. But thanks to the kind people I¡¯ve met on my journey for their weapon matter they gave me, I even got to make a sheath for my Katana; so now I can do a real quick draw. Chapter 9 Grim Reaper Damion¡¯s POV. ¡°Master the man Arthas has entered Ladies Hold¡± my Orthrus Void Ridge spoke to me mentally. Sitting in my stone chair within my fortress I spoke mentally back ¡°I hope he¡¯s not playing around; anyways Void Ridge how has his progress with the grim cores been going?¡± ¡°Master his progress so far is decent; but with the civil war coming in the high realms we don¡¯t have the time to wait¡± Void Ridge spoke. ¡°Shadow Tide what is the progress of the high realm civil war¡± I turned my head and asked the Orthrus that was sitting beside me. The Orthrus opened its eyes and spoke in my mind ¡°the conflict between the grims and Orthrus¡¯s has reached its breaking point; the high realms with use this conflict to fight their battles in purgatory.¡± ¡°Hmm I guess we have no choice¡± I spoke aloud to myself; then sent to Void Ridge ¡°let¡¯s speed this up then Void; I need you to help Arthas¡± ¡°Yes master¡± Then Shadow Tide spoke ¡°master from what I¡¯ve picked up on the grims they have a scout camp set up close to here¡± ¡°Very good; Void when you reach Arthas I need to speak to him¡± ¡°As you command Master¡± I stood up and headed toward the deepest point of my stronghold with my Orthrus Shadow Tide following me. At the bottom of the long stairway was a blank grey stone wall. I waved my hand in a practiced pattern and black runes on the wall glowed; when I finished the pattern the runes moved and a doorway appeared. I walked inside the darkroom and on the ground in a large pattern were 80 grim cores all collected by others now long dead. There were 60 empty slots in the large pattern and from the black lines that connected all these slots together there was black mist leaking and filling the room. I looked around the room and took a deep breath. I extended both arms and spoke my chant and plea. ¡°Oh Evil God help this once dammed soul complete the mission given to me let me return once more to the world of life and living. Let everything return to what it once was, let the darkness rule once more and let the light weep the mighty darkness will claim that which was once his!¡± After my words the black mist spun around the room and was sucked into the black lines on the ground. When everything settled down the room was empty of the black mist; but looking at the lines they were ever so slowly leaking the black mist. ¡®I can¡¯t do this anymore the ritual is losing power too fast¡¯ I thought leaning against the wall behind me and sliding to the ground. On the ground Shadow looked at me and lied beside me and closed his 4 eyes and his two heads leaked black slime onto the ground. I took out the core of the girl whose soul I¡¯d saved and thought¡­ should I destroy it or leave it? ¡®I should keep it if I want his help one last time¡­ not like he¡¯s leaving here alive anyways¡¯ I thought and placed the soul in my cloak. ¡°Evil god I won¡¯t fail; not again¡­¡± I spoke with my fists clenched. Arthas POV. Sitting in a chair deep in Ladies hold with one of their girls on my lap trying to flirt with me. I looked around to see people look almost happy as they passed their time flirting and laughing. ¡°Sir are you ok?¡± the girl on my lap asked me; looking confused at my lack of attention to her. She was a very cute girl black hair green eyes; she had a face that spoke of innocents but had eyes that spoke of the evil deep within her heart and soul. I stood and the girl stood as well as she was forced off my lap as I stood. I pulled out my smiling skeleton mask and looked at it; the girl now had horror on her face and she yelled out. ¡°Guards it¡¯s the Soul Eater!¡± After shouting she started to run away. I put on the mask and looked at the now running girl and in quick lightning fast steps I was behind her and in a smooth movement my sword appeared and I sliced the back of her neck. The girl stopped and dropped to her knees and her head fell from her shoulders. Looking around I could see the female guards of Ladies Hold had surrounded me. ¡°Well then let¡¯s play a game I like to call the dying game HEHE¡± I quickly jumped at the armed guards and with quick slashes and fast movements I was already mowing down these women. One guard came at me with a large sword and it seemed she was the captain of these guards. She swung at me and I have to give her credit she was the best fighter other than Akino or Damion that I¡¯d seen; but with that large sword of hers I was at the advantage. I feinted to the left where she tried to block but I went to her right and as I passed on that side I sliced the back of her ankle slicing her Achilles tendon. She tried to turn but with her tendon sliced she collapsed and my sword stabbed into her throat as she fell. When I looked at the rest of the guards they were backing up and heading slowly to the exit. I slowly walked toward them and sheathed my sword the five remaining guards turned to run and as they ran I pulled a quick step and drew my blade and sliced three of the guards on the back of their necks. The last two that had made it I chased and cut them down One was cut down before she reached the door and the last was cut down just as we past the door and her head rolled away as her body fell limp. I looked around and I felt like cursing myself; as the hallway both ways was filled with women guards who all had spears pointed at me. They were standing shoulder to shoulder with about four fitting in the rows. Seeing I was boxed in I awaited a hard fight; but then I heard a voice filled with arrogance reach my ears. ¡°Who dares cause trouble in my Ladies Hold and have the audacity to hurt my girls¡± the woman said. The other women all moved out of her way and even bowed their heads slightly. The woman that had walked out had long beautiful silky black hair and sharp dark green eyes. The woman had a look like everyone was to be beneath her; but I just said this to her. ¡°Hey. That¡¯s me I just had a complaint about the customer service on my last visit; you see two of your girls tried to hold me hostage.¡± I scratched my head like I was saying something embarrassing. The woman stared at me in confusion then glared at me as she pulled out a spear. The spear was about 8 feet long and had a small serrated spear tip on it and the shaft was thin and the stance taken was one that took advantage of the spears flexibility. She looked at my sword and said ¡°you sword users always think you¡¯re the best but today me and my spear will crush you¡± she grinned ¡°This spear is 1.13 Denja long and was made after the spear I had used in my old life and I¡¯d like to add I was never beaten in a fight.¡± This lady spoke with confidence. ¡°Wait¡­!¡± I stopped her ¡°What¡¯s a Denja?¡± I asked. ¡°Oh you must be a human; that¡¯s about 244 Zo long in your world¡± she said with a smug look. ¡®Oh Akino told me about her worlds measurement system a little and I think 244 Zo would be about 8 feet in my world¡¯ I thought and then looked at the lady in front of me and said. ¡°soo¡­ we going to fight or what?¡± ¡°Fine¡± the lady didn¡¯t seem happy about something ¡°in the name of my family Siren I, Gevirah Siren former succubus queen, creator and leader of ladies hold I will make you suffer.¡± Her spear came at my face I tilted my head to the side and brought up my sword to push the spear away. Her spear skills were top notch and the spear made flexible attacks. Add to that the attacks were nonstop I was starting to get small cuts all over my body. But one of her attacks got a little too close for comfort and slightly cut across my throat almost ending me. ¡°Fuck I hate spears!¡± I shouted rubbing the shallow cut on my neck I couldn¡¯t back up because every time I did a cluster of weapons came at my back from the four women lined up behind me. ¡®Well I need to use my runes here¡¯ I thought and let out wind and fire rune then sheathed and drew my blade causing a huge line of hot fire to burst toward Gevirah; but with a quick roll she dodged. But the girls behind were not as lucky as they were packed together and couldn¡¯t move and as the fire met with them scores of ladies started to scream and burn to death. Gevirah looked at me huge amounts of anger filled her eyes and her spear became surrounded with a yellow wind and the tip of her spear disappeared as she stabbed at me. I jumped back at the same time sheathed and let out earth and wind element onto my blade then drew at her. My yellow, green glowing sword came slicing at Gevirah and she brought up her spear back to block the blow. As our weapons clashed my earth and wind element runes let me destroy her weapon; but with a piece of her spear Gevirah slammed the end of her spear into my handle making my sword fly out of my hand into the wall. Seeing both of our weapons were gone I threw a punch but my face was met with a kick. The kick was very quick and knocked me back; I stopped myself from falling and saw a kick coming at my right side. I checked the kick (blocking with your shin) and I saw her grimace a little in pain at the collision of our shins. With my right leg that I had used to check her kick I threw a Thip straight at her face. The kick connected on her face and she stumbled backward into the group of ladies behind her that caught her and stopped her from falling. ¡°YOU!¡± she shouted, after wiping the blood leaking from her lip and nose ¡°I¡¯ll fucking gut you like a pig!¡± ¡°Malady please take this¡± one of the girls said passing her a short spear which was only a little longer then my sword. Gevirah ran at me and stabbed the spear at me causing me to have to weave around. I tilled my head and the spear passed right past my head and I immediately Thipped her and she stumbled backward. I saw this as a chance and ran up; she threw out a bad stab due to being off balance letting me catch it with my left hand. I threw a punch with my right and as I was about to connect I saw a flash then a pain in my right thigh. Looking down I saw another spear stabbed into my leg; it was what was left of her other spear as one of the girl¡¯s behind her must have past it to her. Seeing I had been out played like this I knew I had to reach my sword or I was done for. She pulled her spear out and the serrated tip ripped as it was pulled out. My cuts were starting to take their toll and I could feel my body slowing down and with this new cut to my thigh and the lack of blood I felt¡­ it was time to leave. Then I heard a voice speak to me ¡°my master has asked that I help you. So break the wall where your sword is and I can help¡± the voice made me fell a slight chill. Seeing I had no other choice I decide to go and play along; I looked around at all the females and the wall across from me. Behind me was the room I¡¯d left; then an idea came to mind and I felt deep within my soul and felt the dagger that slept. I started to pull as much power as I could and black mist surrounded me; causing Gevirah to stop the attack she was about to finish and for the first time I saw terror fill her face. ¡°Ladies back up leave this to me!¡± she shouted causing all the women to back up. I ran at Gevirah black mist surrounding me then the mist shot out and surrounded her body and I ran past her toward my sword. Gevirah looked at me as the mist cleared after causing no damage; she looked even more pissed now. I reached my sword and as I grabbed it fire and earth element filled my hand. BOOM The wall exploded and blue hell fire spread out from the hole I¡¯d made; then a large Orthrus appeared on the other side. This was one of the Orthrus¡¯s from Damion¡¯s stronghold; I looked at it and shook my head and ran through the hole and jumped onto the Orthrus¡¯s back. One of the head¡¯s looked at Gevirah and at a speed faster than I could ever move at; it grabbed her by her clothes; then turned and started to run. It jumped right over the walls they had set up and continued running till Ladies Hold was far from view. When we stopped the head holding Gevirah let her go then held her down with its paw. Then as I leapt down from the Orthrus I got a good look at it and noticed that it was much larger then at the hold or from the other Orthrus¡¯s I¡¯d seen. ¡°My Master would like to speak to you place your hand upon my right head¡± the Orthrus¡¯s voice leaked into my head again. ¡®Oh fuck me¡¯ I thought and slowly placed my hand on its head and a familiar voice echoed in my head. ¡°Haha getting your ass kicked at Ladies hold! Really Arthas that¡¯s funny and I even had to go out of my way to send my hound to help you tsk, tsk¡± he said, in a very energetic voice. ¡°Fuck you why¡¯d you help me in the first place getting soft?¡± I asked back aloud not sure if he¡¯d hear me. ¡°Not a worry right now¡± he said, to my surprise ¡°I need you to hurry up, so I¡¯m lending you my hound to help and take the queen with you to help too.¡± He sounded a little worried ¡°as I¡¯ve learned from my sources the grims and the Orthrus¡¯s have been at a disagreement and it seems the sides have hit their boiling points.¡± ¡°So what? Should you really be worried about them I mean it can¡¯t get that bad?¡± I asked. ¡°A civil war is starting up; but that¡¯s not what¡¯s got me so worried. It¡¯s the fact the whole goddam high realms has decided to fight out their battles here in purgatory!¡± He sounded very angry about this ¡°so follow my Orthrus to the grim scout camp that he¡¯s heading to and grab as many cores as you can with the Queens help¡± ¡°I mean how many grims are there that I need the queen and the Orthrus¡± I said back feeling a little insulted. ¡°yes a few grims can be handled by you; but I¡¯m talking about 50 to 60 grims and let¡¯s talk about the grim in charge of the scout group is not a normal grim.¡± He sighed a little ¡°this grim is called a death grim and his power is closer to what mine is right now; but if I was to help you directly for too long the grim demi god would come fucking smite me! So¡­ my Orthrus will hold off the death grim just long enough for you to collect the last of the needed cores.¡± ¡°So I guess I have to find a way to convince that Queen girl? And I guess its fine for the Orthrus and her to die from the way you¡¯re speaking.¡± ¡°Well the Orthrus isn¡¯t as powerful as the Death grim so it¡¯s death is just a side effect and the queen is a burden after she helps you with collecting the cores¡± he took a second to think then said ¡°Oh and I know you can convince her to help you so I leave it up to you and about escaping; don¡¯t worry I have you covered¡± ¡°You know saying don¡¯t worry makes me worry more; but fine I¡¯ll do this anyways these last few years have been boring¡± I said back in a lackluster way. I lifted up my hand and looked at Gevirah who hadn¡¯t said a word as the Orthrus¡¯s paw held her down. I looked at the Orthrus¡¯s other head and nodded and it let its paw off her and she shot back up and glared at me. I just smiled and shook my head. ¡°It¡¯s no use to fight me and if you want to leave here alive then your best choice would be to follow me, help me gather some grim cores and I¡¯ll share a secret with you; I know an easy way out of purgatory¡± Gevirah glared for a bit and said ¡°how do I know you won¡¯t just kill me after I help you?¡± ¡°You don¡¯t¡± I said honestly ¡°but if you do help me you have the chance to live because as it stands the second you say you won¡¯t help me you¡¯re dead¡± You could be reading stolen content. Fine I¡¯ll help you¡± I grinned and nodded at the Orthrus and it started to walk then I looked at Gevirah ¡°Let¡¯s go then¡± During our travels I sunk beep into my mind and studied the newest element I had gained Lightning. I have to say that the lightning element is the most interesting element so far and has given me ideas as to how the other elements work. What do I mean? Well I¡¯ll explain it. Well let¡¯s look at how lightning works naturally; lightning happens in an electrostatic field. These fields are produced when a positive charge at the cloud tops is moved to ground by a positive cloud-to-ground discharge¡­ I¡¯ll try to simplify this. So anyways there are two main theories on how lightning happens inside these fields but that¡¯s not important to us right now. So lightning happens inside this electrostatic field and are the electrons moving around within, which causes the optical emission (this means the light from lightning¡­ I¡¯ll stop with the science talk hehe). Ok I¡¯ll explain how this relates to the magic elements; what I think is happening when I¡¯m using the lightning element is I¡¯m creating an electrostatic field around myself and this equals lightning. ¡°Why is this important?¡± you ask well I¡¯m not really using lightning, but electrons. Knowing this gives me more options in its use; an example is I can create an electromagnetic field if I¡¯m using electrons and no one would even know I am. ¡®God the possibilities are endless if you think and break down the other elements¡¯ I sighed in thought of the possibility¡¯s that studying the elements gave me ¡®but I feel like something is stopping me from using the elements like I want¡­ maybe that¡¯s why Damion can¡¯t pass his soul test here.¡¯ After a few months of travel we reached our destination and both Gevirah and I were shocked at the site we saw as we started to ascend the hill. Around 60 to 70 grims were in a large crowd inside a camp with large bones that have been used to make a small wall. When I looked in the middle of the crowd of grims I saw a grim that was out of place. It was a whole lot taller than the other grims; as their heads only reached its hip. This things weapon was a large two handed mace that¡¯s head was a ball covered in spikes. One of the Orthrus¡¯s heads stared deadlocked on that grim and the other head looked at me. The flame in its eye sockets increased in intensity and its body started to grow in size even more. It was massive in size now and had caught the attention of the Death grim and the other grims. The Death grim raised its massive mace over its head and I could hear its bones creek and clatter as it moved about. GRRRRRRR! The Orthrus growled as it charged down the hill toward the grim camp; when it reached the camp site the fence of bones did nothing to stop the beast as it charged right through it. The Death grim swung its mace at the Orthrus; but one of the Orthrus¡¯s head caught the mace as the other head bit down on the Death grims shoulder. BOOM! I looked at Gevirah who didn¡¯t seem as shocked at the scene that was happening in front of us. I sighed and stood up and pulled out my weapon, Gevirah did the same and we both charged down the hill toward the grim camp. We both aimed for the hole the Orthrus had made in the fence around the camp and when we reached it the grims started to notice us. The first grim I reached never had any chance to fight back as I pierced its chest with my sword and ripped its core from its chest. Gevirah and I used the hole in the fence as a choke point to stop the grims from surrounding us. But the number of grims coming at us was too much and was starting to push us back. RUMBLE BANG! The ground rumbled as large bangs could be heard from the Orthrus and Death grims fight as it continued on. Gevirah and I were gathering grim cores at an astonishing speed but at the same time we were running out of the energy needed to fight these huge numbers of grims. Both Gevirah and I were quickly getting covered in cuts and we were being pushed back up the hill. I looked in to the grim camp to see the Orthrus being outmatched by the death grim. Crack! A crack could be heard as the Death grims mace slammed into the Orthrus¡¯s side. The Death grim dropped its mace and walked up to the collapsed Orthrus and grabbed both its heads and pulled them apart. The beast chest was then crushed by a stomp that shook my whole body. Seeing the Orthrus¡¯s death it was time to leave and I turned my head and shouted at Gevirah. ¡°GO I¡¯ll cover our retreat!¡± Gevirah nodded and started to run at full speed up the hill as I slowly backed up using all the runes and power I could. Then an idea came to me; I released the lightning rune and purple lightning surrounded me and attacked any grim that got close to me. With the grims held back for a second I sheathed my sword and started to mix the elements inside of my sheathe and with fire, water, earth and wind mixed I used the last of my energy to create an electromagnetic field to launch my sword. Just as the lightning field gave out my sword launched from the sheathe into the group of grims and when it hit the grim in front it exploded and I was sent backwards up the hill. I hit the ground hard and looked down the hill to see a small crater had been made from the blast I¡¯d made. But I had no time to be happy as more grims were coming and there was the large Death grim running full speed at me. I stood and started to sprint up the hill and thanks to being blasted up the hill I could catch up with Gevirah and as we came over the hill a familiar figure could be seen standing on a massive Orthrus. Damion looked at me then at Gevirah that was a little ahead of me then at all the grims and smiled. ¡°The ever hungry darkness I offer you a meal!¡± After Damion spoke a ball of pure darkness appeared and started to attack the grims with dark tentacles. Then he looked at me and a small dagger appeared in his hand made of black mist and he threw it. I ran toward Gevirah and she looked at me just in time to see me rip her void pouch away. I looked at her face as fear filled it then it exploded into a bloody mist and her body fell to the ground. ¡°Arthas hurry let¡¯s go!¡± Damion shouted. I ran and climbed on to the Orthrus and the Orthrus started to run toward Damion¡¯s base. I looked at Damion who was looking around at the sky it seemed like something was worrying him so I asked. ¡°What¡¯s got you pissing your pants?¡± Damion looked at me and smirked ¡°If you knew what was after us you¡¯d be pissing your pants for real.¡± He continued to look around after his remark. -------- In a few days we reached Damion¡¯s hold and as Damion and his Orthrus were entering I stopped and looked at him. Damion looked at me and smiled and pulled out a grey core from within his cloak. I felt relief seeing Akino¡¯s core and pulled out two void pouches and threw them at Damion¡¯s feet and Damion threw Akino¡¯s core at me and I caught it. ¡°I¡¯d say this is the end of us working together¡± I said, but as I turned to walk away a sound so loud I felt like it was going to crush me and my core to bits. GRRRRR! ¡°No Arthas this is just the beginning¡± Damion said ¡°I can help you and that girl return to the realm of the living with your memories intact but I need you to help me¡± Damion looked at me with a steeled look. ¡°Or you can die from the demi god of the grim¡¯s¡­ the Grim Reaper!¡± I looked behind me and a large hand made of black bones was reaching down from the sky. Seeing all this I thought ¡®Ah this was a trap all along wasn¡¯t it¡¯. I looked at Damion and said ¡°sure what could go wrong¡± Boom! ¡°You dare get involved in the conflicts of my realm Damion!¡± a voice said, in a deafening tone and my body felt like the weight of the whole universe was on my back. ¡°Ah grim reaper so glad you could join us¡± Damion said back to the voice seeming to struggle a little as well. ¡°Damion I warned you to never involve yourself in the matters of purgatory and I¡¯d leave you be; but today¡­ you¡¯ll suffer¡± ¡°Yes I know but if you think I didn¡¯t prepare for this then¡­ you¡¯re very dumb for a demi god; well I guess you are a grim HEHE¡± Damion said with a mad chuckle. ¡°YOU! How dare you insult my race!¡± The voice shouted, making my ears feel like popping. I ran in through the Gate and it closed behind me; we started to climb up some stairs and after a lot of steppes I looked outside. But I saw the large hand now had a body and the body reminded me of the pictures I saw of the grim reaper of my world but so much larger. It held a large scythe in its black skeleton hand; its body was covered with an equally black cloak and the only thing I could see of its face was what looked like two gems of hell fire. The being I¡¯d call a god looked at me with its blue eyes and they seemed to burn right through me. The Large Grim brought the scythe above its head and hell fire started to build up around it and he swung it. The sound it made was what I¡¯d imagine it sounded like to rip the fabric of space apart. Damion mumbled some words as we climbed and a black shield appeared around the fort. The scythe hit the shield and bounced off and the shield flickered and I saw a disappointed look on Damion¡¯s face. ¡°Shadow Tide I ask a last favour from you¡± he said and touched the Orthrus¡¯s two heads and chanted ¡°Oh Evil God I ask you to favour a blessed being of your make; let him live out his final moment in glory and rebellion of rules and laws set by those unfit to make them.¡± After those words the Orthrus busted its way out of the wall and started to grow in size and even grew heads. His two heads was now 4 and all 4 breathed the same fire; then it ran at the demi god and rammed the grim into the hills below. BOOM! The clash was huge and shook everything most likely the whole of Purgatory felt it. ¡°Let¡¯s go¡± Damion said in a calm voice We reached a new stairway and started to head down deep into the fort and stopped in front of a wall and he waved his hand and weird letters lit up and a doorway appeared. He walked in and put the grim cores into little dug holes that had black lines that connected all the small holes. After he finished he turned to me and said. ¡°Me and you will sit in the middle of that circle and put the girl¡¯s core in the middle of us¡± he said. I nodded and did as he said; ¡®too late to stop now¡¯ I thought remembering the demi god that I¡¯d pissed off. As we sat in the circle across from each other with Akino¡¯s soul in the middle of us Damion started to chant. ¡°Evil God this dammed soul wishes for your help once more give me your favour once more let me complete what I once promised you. I¡¯ll crush and destroy all rules and laws if you give me this chance; I swear on the evil, the dammed, the good and the innocent to complete this task. The task given to me with your last words in this ruled world of false rules and laws. Let everything return to what it once was, let the darkness rule once more and let the light weep the mighty darkness will claim that which was once his!¡± The cores around the room melted into black mist and all the souls within them melted too into black mist that followed the black lines on the ground. My body felt heavy and the black mist moved toward Akino¡¯s soul. Seeing this I knew what was up and jumped on to her core and the black mist touched me. The touch of this mist felt like it was trying to rip my soul out; I looked at Damion and he too was covered in the mist. But he was smiling he even spoke to me. ¡°Sorry Arthas but you have a piece of the Evil God¡®s soul within you and you see¡­ I need that but you put it in your core so I¡¯ll have to rip it out for you¡± he started to laugh ¡°haha don¡¯t worry though I¡¯ll put your soul to good use, to leave this place without losing my memories HAHA¡± I could feel my soul being ripped out and I looked down at Akino¡¯s soul and thought ¡®again hehe I¡¯m sorry I can¡¯t protect you even though I was given a second chance to¡¯ but a voice came back and spoke. the voice spoke. ¡®What can I do?¡¯ I asked the voice the voice spoke again in a confusing way ¡®the fuck does that even mean¡­ you know what fuck you, fuck Damion, fuck that demi god¡­ no one will stop me or get in my way¡¯ I felt the dagger in my chest and spoke to it ¡®where do you think you¡¯re going¡­ your mine everything is mine and if someone takes what¡¯s mine¡­ I¡¯ll eat your heart, your mind and your soul¡¯ I felt something weird the black mist that was trying to pull out my soul was now pulling the rest of the mist into me. I looked at Damion to see worry on his face then he laughed HAHAHAHA ¡°I see he favours you¡­ very well my lord I¡¯ll follow your wishes I was given my chance but now it¡¯s time for a new champion to lead you to greatness! Let everything return to what it once was, let the darkness rule once more and let the light weep the mighty darkness will claim that which was once his!¡± I saw Damion¡¯s core come ripping out of his chest and go straight into my core then everything went black. --------- I awoke to booms that caused the room to shake and tremble; I looked around and saw just darkness but¡­ for some reason it was comfortable. I looked at what was under my chest and saw it was Akino¡¯s core and grabbed it and looked around to see no one around and hugged it. ¡°Thank whoever¡¯s out there that you¡¯re ok Akino¡± I said, kissing her core. ¡°AW that¡¯s so cute Arthas you have such a touching side to you; you know that¡± I heard Damion¡¯s voice. BOOM! The wall caved in showing a very angry Grim demi god¡¯s face. ¡°Hiding in this man¡¯s soul isn¡¯t going to help you Damion¡± I thought about what the grim said about hiding in my soul¡­ ¡°MOTHERFUCKER!¡± To Be Continued.

Chapter 10 The World Asura Chapter 10 The World Asura {Arthas I know your pissed but we have a very angry Demi god on our hands} Damion¡¯s voice echoed in my head. I looked up at the Grim Demi God whose hell fire blue eyes stared down at me. Not knowing what else to do I kneeled down on the ground and started to plea for my life. ¡°OH Great Demi God I ask for mercy!¡± {Oh quick to drop your pride} Damion¡¯s Voice leaked into my head once more. ¡®What good is my pride if I¡¯m dead¡¯ I thought; but to my surprise Damion answered back. {Well I agree with that} ¡°Little being how do you know the foolish Damion?¡± The Demi God asked in his ear shattering voice. ¡°Great Demi God I was forced by this heathen to commit these acts against you and I ask only for forgiveness¡± I said, putting on a face of innocents and using the voice of some that couldn¡¯t hurt a fly. {Fuck you don¡¯t blame this all on me!} Damion¡¯s voice yelled out in protest within my head. ¡°I see you¡¯re good at acting little being; but the act is worthless in front of me¡± the Demi God seemed unpleased with my acting. ¡°Little being I have had my agents watching you since you¡¯ve got here.¡± ¡°Right I apologise for my act¡± I stood and shook off the fa?ade I had. ¡°Grim Reaper as it is now I see no other way out of this but to plea for my life¡± I looked straight into the Demi Gods eyes. ¡°Hmm I like the cold look in your eyes; it¡¯s no wonder mother has so much interest in you¡± the Demi god seemed almost excited as he stared into my eyes ¡°Little being think of this as a once in an existence opportunity and thank my mother for this opportunity!¡± The Demi god moved even closer to me and was just inches from my face ¡°Never return to Purgatory or I¡¯ll crush your soul like the bug it is; even if mother has asked that I let you live.¡± The Demi God retracted its face from the wall and its black cloak surrounded its whole body then vanished from my site. Seeing that the Demi god was gone I could feel the cold sweat that was running down my back. I sat down on the ground and let out a sigh of relief then spoke to Damion. ¡°Damion Leave my body now!¡± {No can do Arthas; I mean think about it if that was so easy would the Grim Reaper have left me alive so easily} once again the Annoying voice echoed in my head. ¡°So what you¡¯re saying is for now on I have to share my soul with you?¡± I said holding back the curses I wanted to send at Damion. {To be hundred percent honest¡­ yes} before I could start cursing Damion he continued {but this has to wait; I know your pissed but we only have a bit of time left before we can no longer leave here} Hearing this I suppressed the anger I felt and let Damion continue. {Right now I need you to step into the middle of the circle and repeat the words I say} I stepped into the circle and asked Damion one thing ¡°What about Akino?¡± {We can take her core with us; but I don¡¯t know if her core will gain a body or not} ¡°If she gains her body will she have her memories?¡± {If she gets a body¡­ I don¡¯t think her past life memories will stick with her; but hey who knows!} ¡®Hmm¡¯ I didn¡¯t know what to think so I decide to take a chance ¡°Damion what are the words.¡± {Right ahem¡­} {¡°Evil God this servant asks for your favor in breaking the rules of this world; let this servant return to the living with his memories.¡±} I could feel the ground sucking me in when familiar words came out of my mouth ¡°Let everything return to what it once was, let the darkness rule once more and let the light weep the mighty darkness will claim that which was once his!¡± ------- Darkness¡­ endlessness¡­ void of all life¡­ the last time I was here I¡¯d just died. ¡®Damion you there¡¯ I called out in my head; but he didn¡¯t answer. I floated in endless darkness for some time; I even started to think that maybe none of the events I experienced were real. I started to hope it was; but then¡­ that would mean that Akino wouldn¡¯t be real. The thought of Akino being a lie made me angry beyond words. But then in the distance a light; it filled me with a feeling I¡¯d long forgotten the feel of¡­ life. It got closer and closer till I could just about touch it; when I was stopped by a hand that grabbed my wrist. I looked over and saw someone familiar; it was the person that had sent me to purgatory in the first place. ¡°Oh hey there faceless haven¡¯t seen you in¡­ a long time¡± I¡¯d forgotten how long I¡¯d been in purgatory. ¡°You¡¯ve been there for 84 years 40 days 23 hours 43 minutes and 12 seconds; in your worlds time would you like other world¡¯s times too¡± the faceless being said. ¡°Ah no thanks¡­ so why are you here¡± I looked at the hand that was holding my wrist ¡°and why¡¯d you stop me?¡± ¡°I¡¯m here on orders¡± the faceless being raised its other hand and Akino¡¯s soul flew into it ¡°I¡¯m to let her go first¡± after saying that he let go of her soul and it went into the light and was gone. ¡°So what happens to her?¡± I asked the faceless being. ¡°She¡¯ll be fine we just need to wait five years for your body to be ready¡± the faceless being said this like waiting five years was like five seconds. ¡°Five years! Why so long¡± ¡°Why are you whining it¡¯s already over¡± He said confused. ¡°What how!?¡± I shouted in surprise. ¡°I just sped up time¡± he said nonchalantly ¡°Anyways off you go.¡± He let go and I was sucked up into the light. It was so bright I thought it was going to burn right through my eyes; then it was dark and silent. ------- {Arthas wake UP!} I could hear Damion shouting and could feel my self-awareness coming back; but then I was hit with a shock wave of pain that hit me like a truck. I could feel that I was lying on something cold and hard; I could hear some muffled sounds as well. But the pain I felt in my head was so intense and wasn¡¯t helped by Damion¡¯s constant shouting. {Arthas I can feel your awake so talk to me!} ¡®Fuck Damion stop shouting my head kills!¡¯ even after saying this Damion continued to shout. {Arthas something has gone wrong we aren¡¯t in a newly born body; but an older one and to make it worse I can feel people around us!} Damion was right as I was getting my senses back the first to return was my hearing and what I was hearing made me worry. ¡°Master I think this boy is alive!¡± a middle aged voice rang out to someone. ¡°Luca that boy can¡¯t be alive after having his soul ripped from his body¡± an older man said, his voice filled with arrogance. The next thing to start returning was my ability to move and the first thing I did was start to wiggle my fingers and toes. This was starting to cause attention to come to me again. ¡°M-Master the boy moved!¡± the middle aged man shouted out. After the man said that the old man came toward me and said ¡°It must be a demon that has taken over the body; we need to kill it¡± I heard metal clatter as someone walked toward me; they stopped beside me and the sound of a sword being unsheathed could be heard. I opened my eyes but I still only saw blurs; but from what I could see there was a man in golden armour standing over me. Thankfully before anything happened a woman¡¯s voice was heard followed by a younger man¡¯s. ¡°What are you doing to that CHILD!¡± the woman shouted out. ¡°Stand down soldier!¡± The young man Shouted. The man came in to view and kneeled down beside me and spoke to me. ¡°Young boy are you ok?¡± I nodded my head and he asked ¡°who are you?¡± He looked at me with a friendly face and without a thought I played the sweet innocent boy. ¡°Sir my name is Arthas¡± I even added tears in when I said this. ¡°Cosmas stop your scaring him. Calm down child do you know where you are at the moment?¡± the woman that had shouted before was now kneeled down beside me and asked me questions with a voice full of concern. ¡°N-No¡± I said shaking my head and starting to let tears flow from my eyes. When the woman saw a small boy crying like this she grabbed me and hugged me tight and said ¡°be at ease your safe now.¡± She then looked at the young man beside her and said ¡°Cosmas this child is in pain and needs healing please help him.¡± Cosmas as I now knew him as stood and said to the priest ¡°Priest the boy needs medical treatment¡± ¡°But the boy¡­ I¡¯ve never in my years seen someone coming back after losing their soul; it shouldn¡¯t be possible¡± The man walked over to the old priest and said ¡°if he is a demon of some kind then a holy spell from the holy god would harm him.¡± The old priest seemed to have realized that what the man said made sense as he started to walk toward me. He slowly approached me as the woman helped me sit up; when the old priest reached me he kneeled down and placed his hand on my forehead. A golden light shone out as a warm comfortable feeling engulfed me that came from the place he¡¯d touched; I even closed my eyes and relaxed in the warmth. When the feeling stopped I opened my eyes to see a surprised old man looking at me. He looked at the woman that was holding me and she smiled back at him; the man Cosmas smiled told the woman it was ok to let me sit up on my own. She let me go and as he said I could hold myself up and I felt full of energy; I could now finally look around at where I was. I was in a dark room with stone walls that was lit up with only a few candles and a single guard that held a torch in his hand in the back. I looked around to see I was in the middle of what I could tell was a circle and there were runes all over around me on the ground. The smell of blood was pungent in the room; I knew that right now I needed to keep up the act I had or I¡¯d be in trouble. {Nice acting skills you have their Arthas; I mean you could have fooled even me with those tears.} ¡®Damion where are we and how do I know the language that they speak?¡¯ I asked him. {I have I guess for where we are but for now focus on keeping us alive and then I¡¯ll answer your questions.} Before I could say anything back; the man from before asked me something. ¡°Boy do you really remember nothing?¡± ¡°No sir I don¡¯t the only thing I remember is my name¡± I said making sure to sound confused and a little scared ¡°Do you have a family name?¡± the woman asked me and Damion told me what to say. {Use Sharow as your family name.} Seeing as I did have time to think of anything else I used it ¡°my name is Arthas Sharow.¡± When I said this the man looked at me and said ¡°sorry boy I don¡¯t know the name.¡± ¡°It¡¯s ok sir my family wasn¡¯t big at all¡± I said making sure to look disappointed. The woman looked at me with sadness in her eyes and said to the others ¡°let¡¯s leave this place the smell of blood isn¡¯t something a child should have to smell.¡± The man Cosmas walked past the woman and picked me up and started to carry me out of the room; as he left the rest of the people left too. As we left I got a good look around and finally saw that the circle I was just in looked like the same one that I had entered in purgatory. There were lots of rooms in this hallway and I got a glimpse into one and saw a pile of bodies; most seemed to be woman and children. ¡®Damion where are we?¡¯ I spoke to Damion in my head {We are on World Asura Arthas and if the Holy Union hasn¡¯t spread to the other continents; then we are on the continent of Yun.} ¡®Oh we are on Akino¡¯s old continent then and I going to guess that these guys are all from the Holy Union then?¡¯ {Indeed they are and I warn you to stay away from them} Damion¡¯s hate for the Holy Union was already showing. ¡®Stay away from them you say; but I might just join them out of spite for you¡¯ but Damion just laughed at me. ¡®Why do you laugh Damion?¡¯ {I laugh because the second they find out that your magic element is Darkness they¡¯ll kill you and when they see your eyes in the light they¡¯ll freak out} Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author. ¡®My eyes why? what¡¯s wrong with my eyes?¡¯ I asked but Damion never answered and before I knew it I was outside. The light outside was so bright it hurt my eyes as they couldn¡¯t adjust to how bright it was; but slowly they did and I saw something I had not seen in years. Trees, grass, a blue sky and the sun; that however wasn¡¯t the only thing out here. There were tents all coloured gold and more people in gold coloured armour. I looked at the place we¡¯d left and it was a door way in a mountain and it looked like it was abandoned. I looked up at the man that was carrying me and saw that he had light brown hair and blue eyes. The man looked down at me and I saw my reflection in his eyes; I had black hair and pale skin and instead of the brown eyes I was used to they were now black; the last thing and most alarming to me was how small and young I was. I looked no older than 5 years old; but then I realised that the eyes that had looked at me with friendliness now had a slight coldness to them. ¡°Boy your eyes¡­ what colour are they?¡± he asked me. ¡°Sir can¡¯t you see they are brown aren¡¯t they?¡± I said sounding confused at the question. ¡®Fuck you Damion¡¯ I said understanding why he¡¯d said what he said. ¡°Hmm¡± the man thought for a second then looked at the old priest and said ¡°We need to test your elements¡± Then the woman walked over and said ¡°I can test magic elements.¡± The man Cosmas asked her ¡°Maren you can?¡± ¡°Yup I can.¡± She said in a cheery voice The Priest walked over with the young man Luca behind him and asked Cosmas ¡°Sir what¡¯s wrong why do you want to test his element?¡± Cosmas looked at the priest and said ¡°his eyes are black.¡± The priest¡¯s eyes widened in surprise then he looked at the man and said ¡°Sir I knew I remembered that last name; it¡¯s the same last name that the ancient Dark lord had¡± the priests eyes narrowed on me in disgust. But inside my head I was too angry at Damion to care ¡®YOU USED YOUR LAST NAME!¡¯ {Yes I did I thought it would be a nice fit} Damion seemed smug in his response. ¡®Damion you idiot how are we going to get out of this; the body we have is too weak to do anything.¡¯ {Well I didn¡¯t think they¡¯d remember me ok.} Damion was starting to look like an idiot rather than an ancient so called Dark Lord. ¡®Damion how did you survive for so long in purgatory?¡¯ but as I asked; the man Luca said something that pissed me off. ¡°What if he is related to the ancient Dark Lord?¡± Luca said, in a frightened voice and when I looked at him he avoided looking at me. ¡°Shut Up you little coward!¡± the woman Maren said to Luca and walked toward me. I could finally see the woman that was Maren and saw she was young and pretty I could see she had a head of dark long brown hair and glossy green eyes. She wore a ruff white dress and had brown sandals. ¡°Ok let him down and I¡¯ll check his element¡± she said to Cosmas. He let me down and as my feet touched the ground my legs being too weak they let out; but Maren caught me and smiled then said ¡°you ready?¡± I nodded my head and she leaned in close to me and placed her forehead against mine and said some words I couldn¡¯t understand. Damion seemed to understand and told me she was using an ancient Earth magic that should have been a long forgotten magic; at least it was in his time. He was very excited to see her use the magic and told me later to try and learn it. After she finished the magic she leaned back and opened her palm and in her palm was a flower with a green stem and black petals. Maren seemed a little worried at this and looked at Cosmas ¡°he has Darkness Mana in him.¡± ¡°Sir we need to kill the boy now!¡± the priest shouted out. But before anyone else could speak Maren yelled at the priest ¡°You can¡¯t kill a child just because of his Element!¡± The group here looked surprised at Maren¡¯s outburst; Cosmas was the most surprised and said to her ¡°Maren I know that the child looks normal but Darkness element is evil and most grow to be murderers and rapist¡± he got closer to her a put his hand on her shoulder ¡°so before he causes any harm to anyone we need to stop him.¡± Cosmas sounded proud of his act and was trying very hard to show off to Maren; but Maren¡¯s reaction was not what he had expected. She smacked his hand away and hugged me tight and said. ¡°You don¡¯t know how he¡¯ll grow up and if you try to kill him you¡¯ll have to kill me too!¡± Everyone was dumbfounded at her answer; even I hadn¡¯t thought she¡¯d do that. ¡®What the hell does she think she¡¯s doing¡¯ I thought as I was smushed by the girls hold. ¡°haha do you think your life matters to the Holy Union GIRL; we could kill you and no one would know!¡± Luca Shouted at Maren from behind the priest that was walking toward her. ¡°I run an orphanage in my town and they know that I¡¯m helping you so they will know! You guys aren¡¯t in your territory and have no power here!¡± Maren shouted at the priest. ¡®Ah she really is an Idiot¡­ Damion you have something in common with her¡¯ I said jokingly at Damion. {Hey shut up!} Damion shouted back at me. As the priest approached he said just what I thought he¡¯d say ¡°Stupid girl no one in that town will say a thing against us!¡± he had finally reached her when he pulled out a knife and said ¡°you can die with the boy now!¡± But just as Damion and I guessed Cosmas stepped in and grabbed the priest by the neck and lifted him off the ground. ¡°How dare you; I told you that Maren was not to be harmed and you go against my order in the name of the Holy God I sentence you to death!¡± the choking old priest¡¯s face started to turn blue when Cosmas¡¯s arms started to glow with a golden aura. Snap! A snap could be heard that I felt make Maren jump; as the man¡¯s neck was snapped by Cosmas. The body dropped to the floor with a thud and a similar foul stench wafted over to my nose; it was the odor of feces and piss. I looked over at the young man that had been following the old man and his face was pale white now; as he looked a Cosmas. ¡°Guards grab Luca!¡± after his words the two guards that had been following us grabbed him. ¡°Please don¡¯t I-I wasn¡¯t a part of this¡± Luca pleaded with Cosmas but to no avail; but he still pleaded. ¡°Please this was all his plan; I didn¡¯t want to harm her or the boy!¡± Another guard walked out of a large tent with a huge golden hammer and handed it to Cosmas. Cosmas walked over to Luca who was being forced to kneel with his face in the ground. When Cosmas was in front of Luca he took off the golden robe he was wearing which showed his leather chest piece that had the sigil of a gold hammer with a white background on his back. ¡°Luca I find you guilty of defiling the name of the god of light and sentence you to death by the name of my family Bammer¡± Bam! The huge hammer was brought down on Lucas head and it was flattened like a pancake. As Cosmas lifted the hammer brain matter and blood stuck to it; the ground where his head was is a mess of crushed bone, brains, and splattered blood. Cosmas turned around and looked at me and Maren or more like he looked at Maren; who I could feel shiver at his stare. ¡°Are you ok?¡± he asked his voice seemed to be filled with care ¡°I¡¯m sorry that garbage like this is allowed to sneak into the Union¡± Maren looked at Cosmas and said ¡°Please just let the child live.¡± Cosmas seemed disappointed that his little show didn¡¯t impress Maren; but then he smiled and said ¡°Of course I¡¯ll let the child leave¡± he put on a big smile. Maren looked up at Cosmas and said ¡°Thank for letting the child live.¡± She let me go and looked at me and smiled; to be honest I just thought she was an idiot. But she did save my life; even though it was just Cosmas trying to sleep with her. But hey; you can¡¯t be picky about this stuff. After a little bit of talking later Maren was allowed to leave with me and was even given a horse by Cosmas. On the way back Damion and I had a chat. ¡®Damion I need you to tell me how I know how to speak a new language.¡¯ {Well I transferred my knowledge of the language we speak to you; to be honest it¡¯s why your head hurt so much} ¡®What you can just send me your knowledge; dam world is strange I mean I¡¯ve been in this world for not even a day and already I¡¯ve almost died.¡¯ {Well welcome to the Asura. A place where the strong live and weak die; anyways I¡¯m going to say this now and that¡¯s I¡¯m not going to send all my knowledge to you} ¡®I get it I mean what use would you be if you did that. Anyways I recognize Cosmas¡¯s last name¡­ Oh Ya! Akino had a run in with someone from the Bammer family. I wonder where Akino is and if she is alive; maybe I¡¯ll find her¡¯ {Maybe you will, maybe you won¡¯t; it¡¯s how the world works it¡¯s all about chance} ¡°Look Arthas it¡¯s your new home¡± Maren said pointing in to the distance where I could see some what I assumed was chimney smoke in the sky coming from houses. As we got closer I could see that this place was a small village and had sticks set up around it as more of a fence then a wall. The inside was the typical village a few guards here and there in very worn out leather armour. We never went to the center of the village instead went around the outside and went out the back of the village and headed up a small hill into a forest. Then I saw it; a decently sized building with tables set up outside and children¡¯s toys lying around on the ground. There was also a fence set up outside around the place and we entered through a gate. Maren let me down of the horse first and thanks to the time of the ride the feeling in my body was back and I could stand. Maren then got off the horse and tied the reigns to a fence post and shouted out. ¡°Children I`m back you can come out now!¡± The front door swung open and children of all ages ran out toward Maren. It took a bit for the children to calm down and stop hugging Maren; when they finally noticed me. An older girl most likely ten or eleven came up to me and asked. ¡°And what¡¯s your name¡± she had a friendly smile as she asked. I decided to keep up the shy kid act and just looked at Maren who said ¡°his name is Arthas Sharow and just give him some time to adjust.¡± Then she looked around and frowned and asked the older children ¡°Where is Sierra?¡± One of the younger children answered ¡°She is still being a loner and won¡¯t play with us.¡± Maren sighed and said to the younger girl who answered ¡°she went through a lot so be easy on her¡± the girl nodded and Maren smiled and rubbed her head. ¡°Ok I¡¯m going to check up on her and let Arthas get to know the place¡± She left an older boy in charge and took some older girls inside to help her. When we got inside the building there were beds everywhere and there was a sheet that covered the middle of the room; written on it was (NO BOYS ALLOWED!!!!). Maren pushed on the sheet and it slid open and in the corner with knees to her chest and face hung down looking at the ground was a silver haired girl. ¡®Akino¡­¡¯ I thought as everything about her looked like Akino; her hair, blue eyes even her skin was the same pale white tone. The only difference was that she had pointy ears and was a child; I slowly walked toward her but as I got to the sheet I was stopped by one of the girls. She said something but I wasn¡¯t listening and still walked and the girl asked another girl to help stop me. The noise caused the young girl that looked like Akino to look up at me and our eyes met. Her eyes widened and she stood up; when Maren saw that she was looking at me she told the older girls to let me in. After being let go I walked toward the young Akino looking girl when I was in arms reach of her she jumped out and hugged me. ¡°A-Akino is that you?¡± I asked her The girl just looked up at me tears in her eyes; but confusion was also there. ¡®Does she know me I can¡¯t tell?¡¯ I thought. I was answered by what she said. ¡°Why¡­ why does it feel like I know you; it¡¯s like I¡¯ve missed you¡­ why ¡®sob¡¯¡± she started to cry and hold me tighter. {Arthas she still has memories still but they are buried deep inside we just have to unlock them} Damion told me and it made me a little happy. But for now this was a little girl named Sierra how was lost and scared in a big world. To Be Continued!

Chapter 11 Peace? Chapter 11 Peace? Sierra''s POV. ¡®Why?¡¯ ¡®Why is it so comfortable¡­ so soothing to hug him¡¯ I think as tears fall uncontrollably ¡®Why am I crying? Why did my heart hurt so much when I saw him¡­ I can¡¯t even bring myself to let him go.¡¯ After a few breaths time I finally stopped crying and felt a hand gently pat my head, that¡¯s when I let go of the boy. Looking at his shirt there was a wet spot on his cheap shirt. I looked up at his face and saw a small sad smile ¡®Why does he look so sad¡­¡¯ I thought and then I noticed that his skin was so¡­ pale and his eyes were black like the night. ¡°Are you ok now Sierra?¡± I heard Miss Maren ask me. Looking around I saw that Miss Maren and two older girls were staring at me curiously. I felt my face and neck heat up and my head dropped as I was too embarrassed to look at any of them. But then Miss Maren came up and hugged me and told the older girls to take the boy out. Arthas¡¯s POV. ¡®Well then¡­¡¯ I thought as I was forced out by the two older girls. ¡°Should we show him around?¡± the long black haired golden amber eyed girl asked the girl beside her. ¡°Umm¡­ sure why not¡± the dark haired copper amber eyed girl said back ¡°Oh Yea! We should introduce ourselves.¡± the girl spoke very enthusiastically and with a large smile. ¡°My name is Aroha Sultana and this beside me is Roxy Lykke, Oh and I¡¯m 10 and she¡¯s 9 and we are the oldest of the girls and the oldest of the boy-¡± Roxy cut her off. ¡°This is his first day before we overwhelm him with names let''s show him around and anyone we pass we¡¯ll introduce them to him.¡± Roxy spoke with a very cunning tone and I can tell this girl was someone not to get on the bad side of; as someone who lived a life around some very cunning women. ¡°It¡¯ll be fine to just show me around¡± I spoke with a childish tone and a small smile, that made me seem innocent. The two looked at me; then Aroha laughed ¡°Sure let''s do that then¡± She turned to the door and yelled at me and Roxy ¡°Let¡¯s Head Out!¡± Aroha introduced me to a few people here and there and showed me around; I also learned that this orphanage was built at the edge of a large forest and so no one is allowed past the fence around the place. At the back of the Orphanage is a small shed that is set up as a classroom; In the morning the kids over 8 learn about magic, then later kids over 6 learn the basics about magic and after lunch time all kids join together to learn about the world. All in all this Maren woman really has her hands full; but it seems that as a rule older kids are given the task of teach the younger kids and helping Maren with cooking and cleaning. It seems that in the end that this Maren lady cares wholeheartedly about the kids here and the kids care about her. After Aroha and Roxy finished telling about the rules of the lessons she started to head down a trail into the forest but was stopped by Roxy. ¡°Aroha we can¡¯t head back there without Maren¡± ¡°Whats back there?¡± I asked looking at the fenced trail that headed deep into the forest. ¡°It leads to a stream we use for bathing; but because even though the whole trail has a fence you can still get attacked by wild beasts¡± Roxy explained and started to head back. ¡°AH Fine!¡± Aroha said a little upset not being able to go back there ¡°Well then we head off!¡± There wasn¡¯t much left to show me and Aroha ended up getting distracted by something and left me alone with Roxy whole decided to introduce me to her younger sister. He also had two younger brothers, the middle one was Haldor Sachs and was 9 years, unlike his older brother he was a fighter and in the end was one of the 6 kids helping Maren with the food. The last and youngest brother Lothar Sachs a 7 year old who was a easter, as the first thing I saw him doing was trying to eat some kind of fruit seed. The three brothers all had brown hair and brown eyes and all had a common look to them and to the most part wouldn¡¯t stick out; but they were all tall and that gave them a strong look. Another ¡®boy¡¯ I saw there was one that I shivered just looking at, as he had long beautiful blonde hair, striking purple eyes and yes i made you uncomfortable on purpose. But hey at least you knew he was a guy when I described him; as for me I found out he was a man after Damion told me. Too bad for me I¡¯d already imagined what ¡®she¡¯d¡¯ look like as an adult; so my already pale face paled more. In the end I learned that his name was Qiang Xu he¡¯s a 9 year old Liming elf. The last and oldest kid in the group was Harlan Boivin, he has short black hair and green eyes; he was the leader type of person and was always in charge when Maren was away. But from what I learned at the age of 14 he¡¯ll be an adult and most likely have to leave and found a job, which in his case at 11 is in three years. With Anzo holding the cart the rest started to hand out the food; Maren included. The food was in a bowl of what looked to be some kind of oatmeal; but Damion called it ¡°grain slum¡±... not very appetising name. But as I tasted it, it wasn¡¯t bad; it had the taste of what I could guess was honey. Though as I was about to dig in Sierra stopped me and just shook her head at me. We finished the food quickly and Sierra lead me to the side of the building where a large wooden tub was set up with clothes hanging on the side. There I saw a boy who seemed to be our age cleaning his bowl, coming up beside him I greeted him with a smile and a friendly ¡°hello¡± and started to clean my bowl. I finished cleaning my bowl faster than Sierra and saw the other boy wave his hand for me to follow. I followed him into the kitchen and saw him place his bowl in a stack and I followed and did the same turning to him I gave my thanks. Looking at the boy I could see that in his blue eyes was a surprising amount of maturity and knowledge and knew I should get to know the blonde haired blue eyed boy. ¡°The names Arthas Sharow 5 years of age¡± I spoke in a tone that spoke of my intellect and it worked as I could see interest building up in his eyes. ¡°Nice to meet you Arthas my name is Dana Nejem 5 years of age¡± he stuck out his hand ¡°It¡¯s nice to meet you.¡± ¡®Hey Damion you guys don¡¯t do some weird type of handshakes right?¡¯ I asked to insure I don¡¯t make a fool of myself. {Why would you shake someone''s hand? The three sat and started to discuss different topics and other stuff; but now I needed to start forming my Dantain. I calmed my mind and could see the lights once again and now a new challenge had showed itself¡­ how do I gather elemental Mana? I could feel sweat starting to build up on my forehead as the Mana scattered in all directions. {Hey if you don¡¯t direct it it¡¯ll harm your body} Hearing this I tried to take control of; but didn¡¯t know where to put it. ¡®Damion what do I do with it!¡¯ My forehead and body started to fill with sweat. {Damn why don¡¯t you try trusting your instincts a little; listen to your body and it¡¯ll tell you what to do.} At this I relaxed and tried to listen to my body like Damion said. At first I thought it was a bunch of crap this ¡°listen to your instincts¡± stuff; but to my surprise, as I relaxed and listened to my body the Mana started to move to the center of my stomach. There it started to spin like a multi coloured vortex was in my stomach. This went on for a few minutes and in the end a small circle was formed the size of pea. ¡®Is¡­ is that it?¡¯ I asked, as all the energy I had felt was gone. {Done! Not even close at the rate you''re going it should take a month to form your dantain.} Then he said in a smug tone {It only took me a week to form my Dantain and I was three when I did it} ¡®First of all this is my second day in this world, second of all I don¡¯t know anything about Mana or Magic and lastly three my ass!¡¯ It¡¯s not like I didn¡¯t believe him I just didn¡¯t want to give him that pleaser. {Fine I was really four so what.} Oh wow he was lying¡­ guess I called that one. ¡®Hmm I think I need to be more demanding with the elements, maybe that¡¯ll let me gather more¡¯. Bun before I could try, I heard three people approach me. I opened my eyes and wiped the sweat from my forehead. Three approaching me caused me to sigh and Damion to start laughing. ¡°Hmph look who it is¡± Lupus said as he glared at me, like a wolf that had its territory encroached upon. I just stared at him for a second then turned over to talk to Sierra; but before I could get a word out to her. ¡°How Dare You!¡± He shouted so loud my ears started to ring. ¡°Kid liste-¡± I was about to say something to the kid but Bree butted in cutting me off. ¡°Shout your big fat gap Lupus, he doesn¡¯t care for what you have to say!¡± It was weird to see this over the top happy-go-lucky girl be so aggravated. ¡°It doesn¡¯t matter if he wants to hear me; but if he thinks he can take my wife, he should bream on!¡± ¡°...¡± I-I¡­ what!?!? ¡°Ha! I turned around and noticed that the kid¡¯s had stopped their bickering; standing there was a silver eyed, black haired girl, Griselda. {Oh her void connection is strong if she can transmit her voice unconsciously¡­ but at last you have turned her up.} Damion seems to have turned into a pervert¡­ OK then. ¡°First Magic lessons is about start and we aren¡¯t holding up class for you four, second Arthas I understand you want no part in this but in the end you are still at fault and if this got more serious you would be joining them in time out; lastly Lupus if I see you starting trouble again Miss Maren will know and you can explain yourself to her.¡± she paused and looked at everyone to see ensure her words got through then nodded her head. ¡°That''s all then.¡± she said with a shrug and started to leave. {AHAHAHA! You got threatened with time out! E.A .R...¡± I emphasized a ¡°full year¡± causing a little worry to show on Sierra¡¯s face. ¡°Well just till lunch then¡­¡± Sierra said disgruntledly. {Are you done teasing her?} Damion asked in a bored tone. ¡®Ya just testing something¡¯ I was a little glad it was true. Sitting back down I calmed and felt the elements again; then in my head I called out to them. ¡®Obey my commands give me your Mana and power!¡¯ I saw all the lights shiver as if in fear and quickly they headed toward my body in a manner I could only call desperate. They hurried in an unnatural manner and filled my body to the brim and final I called them off; letting my body take over and let the Mana spiral, then condense into a dantain. {This is blaspheme! The hell are they listening to you so much; at this point you¡¯ll form your Dantain in a few days! Unfucking fair!} Damion was agitated at the amount of Mana I¡¯d gathered at one time. ¡®Hmm I feel tired all of a sudden?¡¯ The second all the Mana was condensed my body felt sluggish and felt like I was deprived of sleep. {No shit you''re tired! If you weren¡¯t I¡¯d call you a monster; I mean look at how much Mana just traveled through you.} Can¡¯t argue with that. No longer having the ability to stay awake I leaned against the tree and everything turned black. I woke to Sierra holding my nose with a grin on her face. ¡°What are you doing?¡± My voice was nasally from Sierra holding my nose. ¡°Hehe you sound funny.¡± She giggled ¡°It¡¯s time for lunch.¡± ¡°OK let¡¯s go then¡­ and let go of my nose.¡± Sierra let go with a giggle and ran toward the Orphanage. There I saw Harlan Boivin handing out small yellow fruits the size of a peach. After grabbing it I sat with Sierra, ABI and Bree. ¡®Hey what is the name of this fruit?¡¯ I asked after my first bite, It was a weird bitter sweet taste; it reminded me of nothing from my world. {Pretty sure it¡¯s called a yellow reen fruit; it¡¯s a cheap fruit that can grow just about anywhere and has a decent taste, the only problem is most of it is a seed.} The seed in the middle of the fruit looked to be the same one I saw the kid Lothar Sachs chewing on. After a few minutes to eat, Maren called everyone for class. Due to it being my first day she was going to teach todays lesson herself. I learned a few things about the new world I¡¯m in. First the year, month and day was what I learned, as she said ¡°today is Uhr of the 3rd week of the month of Houden in 9458 year of the Yun calendar.¡± It¡¯s long, I know. The calendar has 15 months, every month has 4 weeks and every week has 7 days; the days break down into Yee, Uhr, Sahn, Woo, Lyo, Chee. From what Damion told me each continent has their own Calendar and the one that taught humans the calendar was the elves; which answers my question on why the days are named the way they are. Next I learned a little about the Empire I live in; which is the Viana Empire. The Emperor¡¯s name is Kian Viana; he has three children. Two princes and one young princesses; the first prince¡¯s name is Emyr Viana who is 11 years old, the second prince is Malik Viana 7 and last is Princesses Lydia Viana who is 2 years old. Maren also added that the Princesses has never been shown in public and has been hidden by the royal family. All the rest was not too important to me and finally class ended and we had a break for the older kids could make dinner. But it didn¡¯t take long for it to be made and a stew like meal was served in bowls. Then After finishing the food we headed into the main building as the sun just about was gone. Inside Maren gave us till something called a sand timer was up; which was just a cheap looking hourglass. After that was up we headed to bed and after all the kids were asleep Maren headed to bed too. I got up and sat cross legged on my bed gather Mana into my body and collapsed from exhaustion. My Peaceful days went on for 5 days until finally it happened...
