《The Day We Left [DROPPED]》 Chapter 0 - Glistening Irresponsible Overseer. Chapter 0 - Glistening Irresponsible Overseer. Glistening, a figure stood upon a cloud that only moments ago had been drizzling the entire world below with water. In each and every area, the same thing happened. A huge cloud enveloped the entire sky and ''cleansed'' the ground with its waters, before a heavenly figure showed itself. The normal, everyday people could only be stunned in front of the majestic and somehow imposing figure. No one had to look long to figure out that the figure differed from them. With a face seemingly chiseled from stone, his cheekbones high and prominent. The man¡¯s skin had the complexity of jade and looked to even be smooth to the touch. Hair, a shocking leaf green color, framed his perfect face. The green color only setting off and pulling out the lighter tones hidden behind his eyes that could only be called royal purple. Even though he was just wearing a simple button down shirt and simple pants, the man gave the clothing a feeling of grace and confidence. The silence was only broken when the figure opened his mouth. Every word resounding in the ears of the crowd gathering below. "You have disappointed me. Each and every single one of you, waste of space pieces of garbage, have disappointed me. I have given you a world to care for, but instead you have desecrated my gift to you. I gave you intelligence to better your species, but instead you use it to further degrade yourselves. You use it to kill each other. You use it to not work any harder. You use it to satisfy your needs before others. You use it to spit in my face!" "I have decided that an intervention is needed. I no longer want to take care of your ungrateful species. The other Overseers and I, came together and decided you will all be taken to their various worlds as they have better uses for your lives. Instead, I''m going to start a new era of creatures who will better look after this planet." After saying all this, the figure stopped talking as though that was all he wanted to say. Even the satisfied look on his face seemed to say so. A spark hidden deep within his eyes. A silence descended only long enough for the people to let the words sink in. After a while, one of the many people couldn''t take the growing rage within their hearts and shouted at the figure all the words blazing within. "What the Hell! How irresponsible! If you''re the one who made us in the first place, then shouldn''t you have made us be the way you wanted at the very beginning? And now that we''re so ''disappointing'' to you, you''re shipping us off to be someone else''s problem? What are you? A child who has gotten bored of its toy and throws it aside to have the grownups clean it up?" Encouraged, the rest of the group started to spout their opinions as well. "You come out of nowhere and tell us what we''ve done wrong, but don''t even give us a chance to better ourselves before you ship us off! What a heartless bastard!" "A kid like you shouldn''t even be given the responsibility to look after an entire species. Go back to your mommy and have her take over your job, if you''re too immature to fulfill your responsibilities!" "Waaaaaaaaaahh! Waaaaaaaaaaahh! Waaaaah! All I hear is a baby crying." "Seriously! You''re just going to abandon us after letting us grow into such an immense society. Why did you even bother making us in the first place?" "If this is how you treat us, I feel bad for the next species you create." Many comments continued until finally it seemed the crowds were exhausted. Not even murmurs could be heard as everything was already out in the air. The figure''s face remained a bored statue as each comment was made. He only lounged down and started inspecting his nails as if they were more important that the complaints of the people below. The only sign that he might have been bothered in the slightest by what the people said was a single crease between his brows. Yawning, the figure finally addressed the crowd again. "Are you finished? Yes? Good. Well now that we have gotten the complaining out of the way, onto Explanation Part 2." Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author. At that, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a crumpled piece of paper that was folded several times. He then grabbed out a pair of glasses and began cleaning them, as if to piss off the crowd even more. Delicately placing them onto his ears and balancing them lightly on his nose, he then began to unfold the paper. Clearing his throat, the figure finally began again, "Now I know after hearing my speech, if you missed it, I will not repeat it, you are more than likely a little, tinsy bit pissed off at your almighty Creator. But worry not, I am not so heartless as to throw out my beloved children (heh) out into the grimy grasps of some other Lorde without something to help you (because it is more interesting that way). Plus, I realize if all of a sudden you got thrown into a different world, more than likely, most of you would die." "To combat this, I will give you various gifts that increase your measly chances of survival at least a little." "The first gift is simple, I will give each of you a bag that can carry more than its small size would make one assume. For those of you wondering, no it is not infinite. It is simply a 10 ft by 10 ft by 10 ft space. For you, math incompetents, that would result in 1000 ft cubed. And before you ask, it does not make the items weightless. The bag will simply reduce the weight of its contents to one tenth of its original weight." "Within this bag, are your next gifts. A book that will roughly describe the world that you will be transferred to (written by yours truly). It will even update itself when you learn new information useful to you. You will also find a status plate within your bag. This will help you later on so that you can better get used to your new bodies." "Oh yeah, speaking of new bodies. I forgot to mention that since you are transferring to new worlds (some of you might have already assumed this), but these worlds don''t all have humans living there. So to make it easier for you to assimilate yourself with the new environment you are going to slowly morph into one of the various races that live in those worlds." At this, an uproar started once more. Only this time it was quickly hushed as the figure continued speaking over the protests. "Did it really not occur to any of you that the worlds you might soon be living in are inhospitable to your frail human bodies? Consider me turning you into a race that can actually survive on one of those planets a gift. It could even be called the one that increases your survival rate the most." This time the protesting affected the figure more as a slight downcast to his face appeared. Sighing, the figure then folded the paper back up and put it once more in his pocket. "If you don''t want to know more about my gifts, fine. I will finish this up quickly then. Each city and its surrounding suburbs and towns will each be sent to separate worlds. If you want to go to the same location as someone else, simply form a party with them. The location the party will be sent to will correspond with where the party leader was originally going to be brought to. My advice though is that you don''t form too big of parties or else you may all lose your lives. Next, you will not be leaving right this second. A total of three days is what you have to prepare yourselves for what is to come. Over these days is also the time frame that each of you will transform, so I suggest forming parties early on because your form may differ depending on where you''ll end up. Be aware, the longer you wait the less time your body has to change and the more painful it will become. This transformation will happen in your sleep so don¡¯t be surprised to wake up looking different than the day before. And no, if you don¡¯t sleep you will end up transforming while you are still awake. Which trust me, will be painful. " At the last word, the sky cleared and the figure disappeared leaving with a complicated expression on his face. A muttering of ¡®Good luck¡¯ so low none of the people below could pick it up with their ears. Chapter 1 - Just a little light packing. Author''s Note: So yeahhhhhhh. I realize I''ve been a bad author. In fact, I realize I''ve been a terrible author! I''ve had the prologue for this series down for wayyy too long. But rejoice! For I have actually come back to it! My creative spark has been metaphorically lit and now I''ve got a whole slew of terribly wonderful stuff planned for my characters. Stuffs been throughly planned out at least 15 chapters out. Let''s just hope I can keep this roll I''ve been on up and you might get to see the next chapter by tomorrow, no by the end of the week. Whom I kidding I know myself better than that. Anyway onto the story and I''m sorry I''m such a terrible, prone to procrastinating, person.
Chapter 1 - Just a little light packing. Staring to the sky outside the porch of an apartment building, a female somewhere in her early twenties held a compact umbrella in one hand and a small leather bag in the other. The strap of the umbrella hung loose on her wrist, being held there due to muscle memory and not actual recollection of it being there. Everything about her appearance pointed towards shock. The tiny opening of her powder pink lips. Her eyebrows slightly curved and high up on her face. Even her widened doe-shaped eyes, took in the scene before her and colored her eyes forest green unlike its usual grassy tone. Of course taking into context what just happened, she had every right to look like a deer in the headlights. It wasn¡¯t every day that a higher entity came down from the skies announcing the end of the world as she knew it. The only positive of the situation being that they actually had the possibility of living to see another day. Plus the whole situation looked like one you¡¯d see in a visual novel or some fantasy book. Which looking at it in one way, that could make it two positives for certain individuals. Of course in the long run, no matter the positives, the scenario presented was, for lack of a better word, shit. A few words slipped out from her mouth, ¡°What the fuck? Seriously?¡± The coarse language she used clearly opposed the delicate appearance of her face. Her complexion pale as though the sun never touched her and limbs thin enough to break. Chestnut colored hair fell in thick waves down her face stopping only once it reached the middle of her back. Now that she awoke from her stupor, her eyes twitched in annoyance. A blood vessel could almost be seen popping out from the irritation, especially when a jingle containing various techno beats and the repeating of words ¡°Fly away now. Fly away now, fly away.¡± came out from her pants pocket. ¡°Oh god. What is it this time?¡± After maneuvering her hand into her pocket, she barely had the time to comprehend that the ID said ¡®Work¡¯ before she pressed accept. ¡°What do you want?¡±, her words laced with as much of the irritation she could put in. Each one sharpened into knives. ¡°Elena Striker! Is that anyway to speak to your boss!?! Due to the whole apocalyptic situation we have going on because of that stupid guy in the sky, we need you to come into work. Even with all the staff we have right now, we have people to the door. Brianna already came in to help and it¡¯s still not enough.¡± ¡°Seriously? It¡¯s my day off. Can¡¯t you call in someone else?¡± The woman¡¯s growing exhaustion became evident in her next words. ¡°We already tried everyone else. Mary happens to still be in the hospital. Daryl¡¯s at his kids¡¯ daycare trying to pick them up. Trish¡¯s wife had to go into labor right now. Plus, Brianna already came in saying something about coming to work even if the world collapsed. You¡¯re the last person we can ask. Can you come in?¡± ¡°Dude, not happening. It¡¯s a fucking apocalypse. I ain¡¯t gonna spend one of my last days being a freaking bank clerk. Screw that! Take this as me quitting, see yah space cowboy.¡± With that the woman, Elena, disconnected the call and turned off her phone. She then turned on the heel of her foot and made her way back into the apartment building. It hadn¡¯t even been twenty minutes since she first stepped out but her life seemed to be completely different. The rundown hallways to her home didn¡¯t give off the same feeling anymore. Nonetheless she made her way, stopping only once she reached the second to last door on the topmost floor. Elena opened the door to reveal a well decorated, if not somewhat small cosy feeling, apartment. The majority of the space being taken up by the bookshelves that took up any bare wall and a queen sized bed near the windows. The only other furniture being a large leather chair in the corner and the table in the kitchen. This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. ¡°Shit! I just realized. This whole moving to a different world thing means I¡¯m going to have to choose what to take with me. How the hell am I supposed to choose from all my shit? Does that God asshole even realize how hard that is gonna be? I¡¯ve got to have well over a thousand fucking books to choose from. Fuuuuccccckk.¡± The irritation that left her face came back in full throttle as she got hit straight in the face with what she clearly thought was the most ¡®troubling¡¯ part of the whole apocalypse. It took a while but eventually she got herself under control. ¡°Okaayy. Breath. Whew.¡± Once more, a little firmer, she said, ¡°Okay. Now let¡¯s get this whole packing up thing started. These books aren¡¯t going to be organized by themselves.¡± It took the better part of two hours, but she went through every book she owned and put them in various categories. Ranging from ¡®Would rather die than leave this¡¯ to ¡®This could be useful¡¯ to the more obscure ones labeled simply as ¡®Sweet enough to give cavities¡¯ or ¡®Turtles ;p¡¯. Her labeling sense seemed to have both logic and lunatic tendencies. The organization having meaning to only her it seemed. ¡°Wheeeeeeww. Now time to see how much it¡¯s down to. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5¡¡¡¡¡¡...213? 214?........Got it. So give or take a few, 217 books in total. Yeah that seems good enough. Time to put this all back on one of these bookshelves though. No way I¡¯ll keep everything organized if not.¡± Elena then took all the books she decided were of importance and put them back on the shelves in alphabetical order after further categorizing it by nonfiction to fiction or whether or not it was a manga or visual novel. After another hour she finally had two entire bookshelves filled to the brim with books ranging from the most recent almanacs and dictionary to books about plants and how to live like a medieval person. She even seemed to have a few shelves only there for entertainment with books from series like the G****throne series or the B****maeus Trilogy. ¡°Oh and how could I forget, you~¡± She walked over to the edge of her bed and scavenged around under its frame until eventually she came out with five well loved children manga. The pictures were simplistic and the plot wasn¡¯t very good, but that¡¯s what appealed to Elena. ¡°I can¡¯t believe I almost forgot K*lala ****cess. The last volume was especially hard to find too.¡± After making the final arrangements of putting the manga on the shelf she fumbled around to find her laptop and type out all the books that she planned to take with her. It didn¡¯t even take her ten minutes before she had a thin stack of papers with all the titles of the books and a blunt description of their contents. The next part of her packing happened a lot faster. It didn¡¯t even take her an hour to fill a camping backpack with 2 changes of clothing(not including the ones she was already wearing), several knives, a solar charging battery that doubled as a flashlight, various threads and needles, a compass, a sleeping bag, a one person tent, and various other miscellaneous survival tools. She even put all the nonperishable foods in boxes labeled by their contents. With a box worth of kitchen supplies she could use anywhere she had a fire like her cast iron pan and a couple pots to make soup. All in all it was a very eventful hour resulting in a lot of work getting done. She felt like she deserved a pat on the back, which she promptly gave herself. Just to reassure herself, Elena looked at the clock, to prove that it really didn¡¯t take too long to do. ¡°Crap. I might have actually taken a little bit longer than I wanted. It¡¯s waayyyyyyyyy past my normal lunch time. Oh well, not like it matters. Apocalypse and all that. Who cares that I¡¯m eating lunch just before 4. Or should I say Dunch? Linner? Whatever.¡± She then tore through her fridge and freezer to find out what she had. Coming out with a simple spread of vegetables and precooked chicken. All in all, the meal would serve it¡¯s purpose so she didn¡¯t bother making anything fancy. It was when she finished and began cleaning up after her meal that a knock reached her ears. Chapter 2 - Joining a group. Author''s Note: Somehow, I actually got this chapter out a lot faster than I was expecting. Surprise! I might have actually been having fun. Huh. Anyways it''s now tomorrow where I am so I fulfilled my promise. Who knows if I''ll type another one later. I might. That depends on how early I wake up. Anyway, it''s very early here and I like sleep so night night. See you laters, maybe. Enjoy the chapter. I hope.
Chapter 2 - Joining a group. After a moment, silence continued as the faucet ran, pelting the newly made dishes with water. She let it continue running because she realized it¡¯d be more suspicious for it to suddenly turn off than for it to keep going. ¡°Come on, Elena. I can hear the faucet running and I know you well enough to know you wouldn¡¯t leave it on if you left your apartment.¡± Once she heard the voice of the person on the other side she couldn¡¯t help but let out the breath she didn¡¯t realize she was holding. It didn¡¯t take her long before she turned off the faucet and open the door to let in her unexpected guest. The man stood a good head above her and radiated confidence. His looks were full of a kind of boy¡¯s next door charm. Deep chocolatey brown eyes that melted into a wonder of possibilities. Golden hair tousled just enough to make you want to run your fingers through it. Muscles that seemed almost ready to burst from the sleeves of his t-shirt. Even the glasses on his face accented his looks instead of deterred any thoughts of his smoking hotness. ¡°Andrew! How¡¯d I know that it¡¯d be you! Come on in. Make yourself at home, don¡¯t mind the more than usual mess. By the way do you think I should bring along some of my boardgames? Yeah, I thought so too. That¡¯s got to be one of the only things I regret not being able to pack.¡± Elena had known Andrew right from the very beginning of her moving into the apartment building. When she first started up work, a colleague mentioned that they were relatives to a nice couple that ran a decently priced apartment building. It didn¡¯t take her long to decide to move in, especially with the fact that she was still living with her father even after her 20th birthday. The place she got was simple and cheap, especially taking into account that it was on the topfloor to this elevator-less apartment. As she was lugging up her stuff to her apartment, Andrew came running down the stairs on his way to the gym or whatever pretty boys do in their spare time. He, of course, in his rush didn¡¯t see the girl just around the bend sprawled across the stairs, exhausted from the trek. Andrew soon found out she was there though, when he crashed right to one of the boxes hanging precariously on the steps. Its contents spilling everywhere. Lucky for him, none of the boxes she brought that trip up were books, or he might have met a wraith he never would have expected from such a frail looking girl. In the end, he helped her pick up her clothing only embarrassed by the whole incident when he found a pair of her underwear at the bottom of the steps when he finally left her to finish her packing. The whole thing was made even funnier when she came to great her next door neighbors only to find out that he lived next door. They did a funny exchange of a pair of panties and a box of cookies she made as a greeting. Ever since then the two have hung out on occasion, this relationship having gotten stronger when they both found out that they liked to watch and read several of the same genres. Her reminiscing broke when Andrew started to address her. ¡°After learning about the partying system, we decided to make a group of the people of the apartment building. Considering most of us have lived here more than 2 years and have gotten to know each other, it¡¯d be a smart idea for us to party together.¡± In truth Elena, hadn¡¯t really put much thought to joining a group. Her priorities had been figuring out what she¡¯d take with her and she didn¡¯t really consider much else. She figured she¡¯d just go it alone and take whatever she came to find there as it was. Of course, now that she thought about it. Being in a group might make her chances of survival go up. Plus living together with Andrew might not be such a bad idea. ¡°I guess that doesn¡¯t sound like such a bad decision. So do we have anything planned or something. Like a meeting between us all?¡± When he heard her response, a smile came to his face highlighting the small dimple he had. ¡°Yeah! We¡¯re having a meeting later this evening around 8. Considering the whole three days thing, a party is being held. So bring whatever food you want. It¡¯ll all go to waste if we don¡¯t eat it anyway, so we might as well enjoy it while we do.¡± He soon put on a more serious look. ¡°Have you checked out the items that God gave us?¡± ¡°Nope.¡± Elena hadn¡¯t done much other than pack. The items she decided she¡¯d bring hadn¡¯t even made their way into what she decided to call her bag of holding. ¡°You might want to then. The stuff in it is kind of¡¡¡¡¡.interesting.¡± ¡°Well that didn¡¯t sound ominence at all. But you might have a point, dickweed god gave it to us, so it might have some use. Just give me a second to try and find where I put that little bag thing.¡± In all the hustle and bustle she made while packing, Elena put the bag somewhere. Just like her keys or just about anything she could get her hands on, any object she let go of for more than a few seconds got lost. Including her newest item, the bag of holding. Books, clothing, papers, and about anything she thought might hide it got tossed out of the way. By the ending of a good 5 minute struggle of searching, Elena finally noticed Andrew laughing at her misfortune. Ever a quick spark, ¡°What the fuck are you laughing at!¡± ¡°Pftttttt! God you are such a laugh! How can you lose things so easily? I bet you¡¯d lose your own hands if that was possible! The bag is-¡± Clearly, he got a better idea in mind just as he was about to tell Elena where the bag was. ¡°How about I give you a hint? It¡¯s somewhere I can see from here.¡± Support the creativity of authors by visiting Royal Road for this novel and more. Not amused, Elena started her search once more. Yielding no more progress even after searching for twice the amount of her original search. Her patience ran even thinner when she looked up to see Andrew wiping tears from his eyes as he cried from laughing to hard. Their eyes locked together and both of their self controls snapped. Andrew started laughing so hard he fell to the ground and started pounding the floor. Elena instead went a more violent reaction. Stomping her way in front of her friend, she reached down and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. The tearing of a few strands of flimsy fabric did nothing to appease her emotions. ¡°Put a sock in it asswipe! That is unless you want me to stop it myself and I can almost guarantee that my way will be a lot more violent. And possibly a lot better of a creative outlet. Now are you gonna tell me where the fuck I put the bag you sadistic little fuck!¡± Andrew couldn¡¯t help but laugh out loud again when she finished her speech. In between gasps of breath he managed to tell her where to find the bag. ¡°I-i-its be-been on the t-table this en-entire ti-time. Phftahahahaha!¡± Even with her glaring daggers in his direction as she went to grab the bag, Andrew didn¡¯t stop laughing his heart out. He only stopped after all the blood rushed to his face and he could no longer breathe without gasping for air. Elena plopped herself right in front of his collapsed form. Soon she found herself extending out one of her legs to make sure that he was still breathing. He might be an asshole but at this moment he was an asshole with more information than her. Information that could save her in this new world. ¡°Andrew. Andrew. Hello earth to Andrew. I¡¯ve got the bag. Now what do I do. Just reach on in and grab whatever is in their?¡± ¡°That¡¯s the idea.¡± With a shrug, she put her arm in and eventually pulled it out after finally finding two items within the bag. Both looked quite simple. A leather bound book thin enough that it clearly only had a few pages in it and a small card made out of some weird material that she didn¡¯t recognize. Surprisingly, the card was blank even after she checked the backside just to be sure that she didn¡¯t miss anything. ¡°How the hell is this supposed to even be useful if there¡¯s nothing on it?¡± Even with her muttering it softly, Andrew didn¡¯t miss the curse and began another bout of laughter. This one lasting a lot less time having been interrupted with a swift jab into the gut. ¡°Oh come on! If you were in my place you¡¯d be laughing your head off too!¡± A glare shut up anymore protests as he shrugged in response. And decided to tell her how to solve her problem, ¡°Just prick your finger. It needs a drop of blood to activate.¡± Grunting only slightly in opposition, Elena grabbed a knife to cut a small hole in her thumb. After a tingling feeling, the screen of the card lit up and information showed up.

¡°Oh well wow. That¡¯s really helpful.¡± ¡°I know right? Now look in the book it¡¯s even better.¡± She had to admit that hearing that actually did make her at least the tiniest bit curious. So she immediately grabbed the book and, just as promised, the book could be considered about as helpful as a bucket of ice in a snowstorm. Meaning, not really that helpful. From the surface it was already clear the book didn¡¯t have much in the way of contents with it really only having a total of 5 pages. The first of them being some kind of title page. Inside looked to be information about the status plate/card thing, and the bag. After that, taking up most of the next page was a drawing of a creature that looked to be humanoid in nature. Except mixed with a porcupine of some sort. And the last page was of a map? All of it didn¡¯t really matter though because the text on the pages looked like pig latin. That got translated to chinese then to some other random ass language. Some parts even looked like someone just slammed their hands on a keyboard.

Elena¡¯s jaw dropped at the absurd language? Whatever it should be called. How the hell were they supposed to get information from something that didn¡¯t even translate into comprehensible english. She really only got one thing that had even the semblance of help from the items. ¡°So what the fucks a cruor anyway?¡± Chapter 3 - To the Party. Author''s Note: Yeah I know it''s been a while but at least it wasn''t another year. The past few weeks have been a little crazy for me. I kinda got a new job. Yay!~ And every time, I settled down to write I either stared at a blank screen, got frustrated with what I''d already written or gotten a ''I need help'' text from a friend. So yeah I re-wrote this chapter a few times and here yah go. Oh and I went back and changed the time frame ''god'' gives humanity. I realized a week was a little overkill and so now its 3 days instead. Anyway no more rambling from me. Enjoy the chapter and I hope to see you in chapter 4. (P.S. If you find any spelling errors or horrendous grammar mistakes please tell me. I like fixing those kinds of problems.)
Chapter 3 - To the Party. ¡°So, what the fucks a cruor anyway?¡± ¡°Wait? That¡¯s the only question you have?¡± After looking at both her status card and ¡®helpful¡¯ book, all Elena had to ask about was her to be race? The look on Andrew¡¯s face said all that needed to be said about how her only concern was her race. ¡°Well yeah. I mean isn¡¯t it a girl¡¯s right to be concerned about her appearance.¡± ¡°I mean, I guess?¡± ¡°God, boys! Never understanding a single thing about the way a woman¡¯s mind works!¡± Andrew, as a man who''s had at least a little bit of experience with women, ¡®wisely¡¯ chose this moment to keep his mouth shut. Deciding it would just be easier for both of them if he doesn¡¯t press the matter farther. Only when the silence continued both of them didn¡¯t really know what to say further until Andrew couldn¡¯t take it any further. He shimmied a little until his wallet was in his hand and a card that looked almost identical to the one Elena pulled out just minutes before. Of course the contents were different as Andrew pointed out. ¡°I¡¯m also wondering what an Astor could be.¡± ¡°Huh? You have something different from me? Let me see!¡± Elena didn¡¯t wait for a reply as she grabbed the card from his hand and examined it. Her body completely in his personal space.

¡°What! You have some of the attributes unlocked! How¡¯d you do that? And why haven¡¯t you told me about this yet?!? You holding out on me? I thought we were close.¡± At the last sentence she even pouted a little for extra measure. Elena for some reason didn¡¯t think the fact that she was already in his face emphasised her point well enough. Leaning his body back a little and groaning when he got in a more comfortable position. ¡°Well I would have told you about it eventually. Plus isn¡¯t this the perfect time to tell you about it?¡± ¡°Elena took his movement as a sign and eased herself more into his lap. While pushing the status plate more into his face. ¡°That still doesn¡¯t answer my question. Who, What, When, Where, Why. You don¡¯t need to answer them all just most of them. Now ¡®splain the Attributes man!¡± ¡°Huff.¡± He exhales deeply. ¡°I never said you could sit in my lap.¡± Shaking his head, Andrew decides he¡¯d let it go, just this once. ¡°Ugh. Anyway. Attributes. While you were¡¡¡..reorganizing¡., me and all the guys on the 3rd floor decided to have a little pow-wow. Basically we just kept experimenting with all the stuff and Adrean ended up joking about how the card things might be activated by blood, like in one of those video games or light novel things.¡± ¡°Thinking it wasn¡¯t entirely a stupid idea we tried. It worked. You should have seen Adrean¡¯s face when it actually worked. I tear up just thinking about it. Anyways, after that we started thinking since it was a pretty game like way to make it activate, maybe the Attributes were the same things as stats in a video game. That led to us finding out the four you see. All you have to do is say them aloud and the card registers that you know the attribute. Of course they might have found more. I kind of left to find you after I found them out.¡± Elena turns around at that, causing a slight blush to rise to Andrew¡¯s face. To hide it he quickly turns his head away and says, ¡°At any rate, why don¡¯t you try and find out what your stats are?¡± If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. A grin blossoms on her face as she turns around and pulls her card out with her free hand. ¡°Charisma.Intelligence. Strength. Wisdom.¡±

¡°Huh?¡± Her brow furrows slightly. ¡°Why is my Charisma lower than yours? Well at least my Intelligence and Wisdom is higher than yours! I knew I was smarter than you!¡± Spoiler : Here a quick comparison so you don¡¯t have to scroll up
Side by Side Comparison Elena Charisma 16 Intelligence 15 Strength 12 Wisdom 13 Andrew Charisma 17 Intelligence 14 Strength 15 Wisdom 11
Andrew let out another silent huff. Elena just had to make comparing their stats into a competition. There should be a limit to a person¡¯s competitive nature. Even an apocalypse didn¡¯t seem to have any effect to killing hers though. ¡°Yes. Yes. Yes. You¡¯re smarter than me so please be nicer. Maybe that¡¯s why I have the higher Charisma? Because I¡¯m the nicer one of the two of us?¡± ¡°But I am nice!¡± ¡°Really?¡± Andrew only raises an eyebrow at that. Sticking her tongue out, ¡°Now who¡¯s being nice. Meanie!¡± He smirks at that and looks a little off to the side, noting that the clock says that it¡¯s become half past 6. He then looks down at Elena, ¡°So we¡¯ve got about an hour and a half to go to the party, what do you want to do in the meantime.¡± She whips her head to check the time as well, ¡°An hour and thirty-four minutes to be exact! That¡¯s just enough time!¡± No time is wasted as she stumbles out of Andrew¡¯s lap and dashes to one of the few cabinets beneath a bookshelf. After just a second, her eyes sparkle as she makes her way back to him. Only this time she¡¯s carrying a box that makes a few noises as she makes her way over. ¡°Seriously? It¡¯s an apocalypse and you want to play Dead of Winter? Are you sure you didn¡¯t get chosen for the wrong genre of apocalypse? Fantasy instead of Zombie?¡± Nodding her head in agreement, Elena only says, ¡°I know right? Why didn¡¯t God think about the fact that I¡¯ve already prepped for a Zombie Apocalypse when he decided to ship us off to another planets.¡± ¡°Yeah, why didn¡¯t he.¡± All while this conversation was happening, Elena deftly put together the board game. While Andrew shuffled every item deck and helped her set it up. Even with all the game pieces it only took them a solid 5 minutes to get everything out and throw themselves into the game. No more words said that didn¡¯t have anything to do with the game. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡. One hour and twenty or so minutes later ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡. The game ended after a fierce struggle for food and scavenging for supplies in the School building. Mike Cho saved next to everyone when they went out searching. Though crazy enough Andrew ended revealing that he was the traitor all along as he killed off all of Elena¡¯s characters. ¡°Why didn¡¯t I suspect that you were aiming for the cultist leader?????? It was soooo obvious now that I know! Why else would you have kept gathering all those characters. No one aims for seven people and more other than the cultist!¡± ¡°Hey. It¡¯s your fault for trusting the nice guy, I guess. Everyone knows the nice guy can¡¯t be the traitor.¡± ¡°Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I call foul play. Retry! Let¡¯s play again!¡± Andrew shakes his head at that. ¡°As much as I¡¯d like to, the meeting is going to start any minute now and we should get going for it. Come on let¡¯s get to cleaning the game up.¡± His hands already grabbing the last remaining zombies and putting them back into their bag. Elena says with a huff, ¡°Fine.¡± Once everything was packed up, they made their way out of the apartment. Though, Andrew did grab Dead of Winter with a wink. ¡°In case there¡¯s ever some down time in the new world.¡± Afterwards, the two make their way across the hallway, so they could get to the roof. Even though the party started at 8, the roof already contained all 34 residents of Cherryhill Apartments.
