《The Realm of Aethis》 Prologue Chapter "Hello." A voice said. In an, what seems to be an eternal abyss, an adult seems to be looking around. He wore casual wear, white t-shirt, and comfortable shorts. Let''s not forget about the underwear. Well, Anyway. "Who''s there?" The man said, slightly panicked, overwashed by a sea of calm soon after. A young man, dressed in a robe and the design seemed to be of bright stars, appeared in front of the other man. "Hm? What''s this? How did you get here-" He seems to hesitate after laying his eyes on the other person in the room. "Well, uh. I honestly don''t know how I got here. Why do you ask? And why are you wearing a Halloween costume? It''s not even October yet." The other man replied. "Questions, questions, questions... Sadly, I don''t have your precious answers." The robed man said. "Aw, that just means we both don''t know anything. Well, in any case. What''s your name?" The casually dressed man asked. "I''m Strell. God of the Stars." He said, in a somewhat proud way. "Huh, a god? Well, can you send me back to my place?" The man asked. "Your place? Your home? Wait... Now that I look at you, you aren''t from Aethis, are you?" Strell answered by asking a question. "Eksi? What place is that?" The man asked. "And that confirms my suspicion. You aren''t from my ''Reality.''" Strell answered. "And what does that mean?" The man asked, slightly curious. "That means that YOU aren''t from HERE." Strell smirked. "However... I am interested in one part of you..." "That would probably be... my memories, isn''t it?" The man replied. "How would you know that?" Strell asked, surprised a little. "Well, if I was a god, I would be so bored. I would probably have to resort reading books just to learn. Looking at the people in your world would probably be fun too. You don''t really seem like a warlike god either. You seem... a little more knowledgeable?" The man explained. "Hm, so do the gods in your world are like ours then?" Strell asked. "Nah, it''s not as interesting as your world... Our gods don''t do much. They sort of let us muck around. do our own thing." The man replied. "You want to make a deal with those memories?" Strell asked. "Whoa, wait. Isn''t this too quick? But then again... Guess I can''t really go anywhere in this void. Wait, couldn''t you just take my memories? You are a god..." The man asked, a little hesitant. "Remember when I told you I was the God of the Stars? I''m also the God of Balance and Knowledge as well." Strell pauses for a bit. "So, you want to make a deal?" The man thinks about it for a while, and he finally answered. "Sure, I mean, I would be pretty bored if I was stuck here for eternity." "Good! Well. What would you like to do, in exchange for your memories?" Strell asked, giving a silent cheer in his mind. "Well, how about this? You can have full access to my memories, just can''t take them from me. Second, I wish to be reincarnated in Aethis, as well have aspects of a video game character." That last one seems awfully suspicious... may I ask why?" Asked Strell. "Well, Aethis seems to be a place of fantasy, seems nice. If there were some destiny or prophecy or something, wouldn''t my appearance make a change?" "Well, if you''re going to be reincarnated in my world, you may change the gears of fate for other people, don''t you know? It''s not impossible though..." Strell puts a hand to his chin, and thinks about it for a while. "Interesting... Interesting... Alright, fine. I''ll Reincarnate you, make you have some aspects of a video game character, based off of your memories, and make you exist outside the gears of fate of this world." Strell smiles. "For access of my memories. Correct?" The man asked, to confirm. "Yes, as well as you being able to keep your memories... I want to give you something else as well. A power, as you should call it." Strell smiled. "Well, you''ll know once you get down there. Think of it as a blessing, I favor you then some of the other mortals here on Aethis. I also wish to name you, as you might as well be called one of my "Aegis" . "Aegis? What''s that?" The man questioned. "Being an "Aegis" is sort of like being a Hero for a god. You spread my name, and I gain power." "Uh, I don''t know if-" "You don''t need to dedicate yourself towards me, (unlike some of the other gods). Think of it like this, you help spread my name, I gain power, and in exchange, you gain power. However, that does mean you cannot worship the other gods, or help them , unless they are my allies." Strell explained. "Hmm... I guess it''s all good... Anything else I should know about being an Aegis?" The man asked. "Right... I have twelve fated Aegis waiting for me. With you, that makes thirteen. Even though this might restrain you, please do try and help my other Aegis. They may appreciate the help." "Might as well, I''m an Aegis now. Well, then that should be all of it right? I accept the deal." The man said. "Indeed it is, and with this conversation, the deal is set in the mind of a god and in the mind of a mortal. Have fun!" Strell exclaimed. A bright light flashed, and the man seem to disappear from the void. As quick as he was there, as quick as he disappeared. Within himself, he slept. "Hm, a name. Well, I guess a fitting name would be... Luo. In seeing through his memories... That means free in the language of Latin. Oh, I want to know what will happen in his future!" Strell said with a happy tone. Chapter One: Memories, Powers, Information It''s a beautiful spring day, the flowers are blooming, the people in the village are chattering. A young boy at the age of 3 opens his eyes, and smiles. It''s been three years since the Trade happened... Well, I guess I was lucky, in a sense? I was in an orphanage for around two years of my life, until my family adopted me. Guess I was one of the lucky ones? He pulls the covers off of him, and, as it seemed like great timing. "Luo! Come down and get your food!" Someone exclaimed. It was Luo''s older sister, Jema. "Alright! First I gotta make the covers!" Luo said. He thought to himself during the folds. This world is interesting, to say the least. It''s a Fantasy World! Never thought I''d see the day where I could be like this... Ah, right. It''s been a while, but let''s check the Menus again. With a whisper, Luo spoke. "Skill Menu." And out of the air, a brown square, detailed at the sides, had icons of skills within. I only have three skills... Resilient Mind, Which protects me from all psychological attacks. Video Game Physique, which makes my character Video Game like. For example, if I work too hard, with 15 minutes, I''m back to normal. Then, there''s Strell''s Gift. I''m not sure what that does, but I think it''s an Active Skill. I have yet to use it though, because I never found a good time to. (Authorial Intrusion here! Active Skills and Passive Skills are different. Active Skills need to be cast, and often use Mana, the sort of magic fuel to get the skill moving. Passive Skills are basically skills that provide a boost indefinitely, without wasting mana. Explanation, End!) I should also take another look at my stats, maybe that''ll help see where I''m at... "Stats Menu." Luo whispered. Every Stat besides INT, WIS, and LUK are all at 6. INT, WIS, and LUK are at 15 though, wonder why? (Another Intrusion Here. Stats are basically measurements of someone''s power. Say, STR, which means Strength was at 1. You could only lift a pebble. But if it was 100, You could lift a boulder. All the names for Stats are reduced, to save room. But here is what they mean; STR means Strength, VIT means Vitality, AGI means Agility, DEX means Dexterity, INT means Intelligence, WIS means Wisdom, and LUK means Luck. You don''t need to try to remember this, as I will make this apparent later as well... But it does help. Explanation... END!) Luo finishes making the bed, and heads downstairs. He sees his father Leo and His sister Jema at the kitchen. Seems they''re cooking. "Lu- oh. There you are." Jema grabs Luo''s plate of food and hands it to him. "Here''s your plate of Vola Eggs and Bacon." Luo took the plate from Jema''s hand and started to dig in. "Speaking of which, have we fed the Volas yet?" Dad asked. "No, not yet. It''s my turn and I just woke up." Luo said, eating faster. After he cleared his plate, he cleaned it, and left for the job he had to do. Luo saw his mom, Lucy, tending to the garden. "Hey Mom." Luo greeted. "Hey Luo, I guess it''s your turn to feed the Volas?" His mom asked. "Yeah. How''s the garden going?" Luo asked in return. "Fine, all I have to do is water the plants. Can you hand me the bucket?" Asked Mom. "We have a watering can, right?" Luo asked in confusion. "I want to show you something." Mom puts her hands out in front of her. A ball of water forms in the space just in front of her hands. The water, of course, coming from the bucket. "Whoa..." Luo said. He couldn''t muster anything else. Then, Luo''s Mom split it into drops of water, and spread it through the garden. "That''s amazing!" Exclaimed Luo. "Wish I could do that." "I used to feel the same way a long time ago... Luo... Anyone can do magic, you just have to put some effort into it. Now, shouldn''t you go feed the Volas?" Mom said. "Alright, I''ll leave." Luo replied. Luo grabbed the feed from the shed and took it over to the Volas. Volas are Chicken-Sheep sort of chimera. They lay eggs but also give wool, convenient. Luo opened the bag, and fed it to the Volas. Alright. I should be done here. Now, as a three-year old, there isn''t much that I can do... I think Mom and Dad kept a library in the house? They used to be adventurers I believe. Well, I should just go look around. After a while walking around the house, Luo finally finds the library. Who knew it was going to be in the basement? Well it doesn''t really matter now. I''ve been here for a year, how did I not find this? Well... all matters aside, this place is pretty cool-looking. A bit dark, but hey, it''s in a basement. Now let''s have a look-see. Luo looked around, and it something became very apparent. I can''t read any of this stuff. I don''t understand these words. I know some words, but it won''t help here... Wait, what''s that I spot over there, in the back of the room? Luo makes his way toward a book, decorated with gold and one purple round gem in the middle of the cover. He clears away the dust covering the book. Whoa... This looks pretty cool... I shouldn''t open the book, but when did things go wrong when I opened up a fancy book? Whatever. Luo opens up a book, and a bunch of dust attacks his nostrils. He sneezes, but clears away the dust within. Hm? Looks like a bunch of images... and words I don''t understand... It looks like... people casting magic? Is this a spell book? Luo flips through to the end of the book. Passing by the images and words he doesn''t recognize. Wait, what the- This part right here, this engraving... It looks like English! What? How can this... Well, let''s just read it. "Hey There Luo! I''m Strell! The guy you met in the spooky void. I enjoy going through your memories, even found things about the Internet! Anyway, I feel like I cheated you out of your deal, somewhat, so I can give you a gift here. Try to use that one skill of yours, the one aptly named Strell''s Gift onto this book. After that, receive your reward, I guess. Have fun!" Luo stood there in silence. Well, alright. I''m guessing the skill is voice activated as well as all the other menus... alright, I''m ready. Luo holds the closed book out in front of him, and whispers, "Strell''s Gift." The book floats out of Luo''s hands, and opens by itself. Like some magical light show, orbs of light surround him, all different colors. It costs a lot of Mana to cast, and after that, it drains Mana from me when I keep having it equipped. Skill Absorption is weird, it makes me able to gain permanent skills from eating fresh creatures or plants, or quality inorganic items. Plus, I can eat all the dangerous things I want, and it won''t hurt me. Item Customization basically lets me change the aspect of anything, say, I can make a sour fruit sweet, or something. Hm, Word Arts a bit weird, I have to draw a word using my finger in English. It can only be one word, (for now anyway) doing so will do what the word says. Nice. Oh! And it also have a passive ability to translate language! Nice, and I got a level up! I''ll spend those Stat Points later, but hey, that''s pretty good. I gained a whole arsenal of skills today. Luo smiles to himself. Well, with that Passive Bonus from Word Arts, He gets set on reading some books here, and he planned to take some books up to his room as well. The first book he picked out was Intro to Spells: The Beginning. Hm, this might help... Maybe giving this a read-through can he- A small notification box appeared on the book <>Would you like to learn the skill: Basic Mana Control?<> <>Yes<> <>No<> What- What is... Okay. Gotta calm down... this can''t be. But it is! It''s a skill book! (This is the chapter of Intrusions. Skill Books are usually filled with instructions of a certain skill and such. Usually, when you press Yes, all of the knowledge in that book get sent to you, therefore, a new skill has been learned. The only downside is that the book disappears. This system is commonly placed in some RPG''s. Explanation, Complete!) Luo takes a look at the skill description. Oh, it increases my Magic Damage and Mana Regen by 10% . It also reduces Magic Skill Cooldowns by 5% and Increases my MP Points by my level times ten. So, I''m level two, I should be receiving a 20 MP bonus. Nice, nice. Well, I saw a few copies of this book in the library, so my family probably wouldn''t mind losing just one. Luo puts his finger over the screen, and with one decisive tap, he presses the Yes Button. As soon as he did that, the words started flowing into his mind, and when all the words depleted, the book just vanished. Nice... That''s good... I feel a bit of a headache though, guess it''s my brain processing the information. No matter, I''ll just read two or three more books by the end of the day. [Time Shift: Morning --> Noon] Oh, would you look at the time? It''s high noon. I''m almost finished with this book, "The Races in Aethis." There are many different races on Aethis, but there are the "Main" Races. This list should help. Humans- The race with the most population. Humans have great adaptability, being able to live in the most hottest or coldest of places. Humans, with enough experience, can learn almost anything. Elves- Known for their natural beauty and for their use of bows and magic. They usually seclude too themselves, but some have established settlements and kingdoms throughout the land. Dwarves- World-Renowned Blacksmiths and Builders, they live anywhere where the ore is good. Their technology surpasses any of the other races. Since they are Dwarves, they are smaller than Humans, Elves, and Beastkin. Fairies- Fairies live in forests, and they are around the same sizes of dwarves. Currently, they are the only race capable of using Healing Spells. Some Fairies live in seclusion, some don''t. Beastkin- Beastkin are a mixture of humans and beasts. They are incapable of using magic, but make up for it in excellent swordplay. Well, That seems to be it for the Main Races. There are Sub-Races, like Wood Elves, or Flame Dwarves. But those get kind of lengthy, so the book really doesn''t list them. Well, that was a pretty lengthy book. Guess I''m finished with this last page, and I guess I''ll close the- A small notification box appears out of nowhere. <> You have earned 1 INT for your reading.<> Whoa, what the... Huh? I can gain Stat points for doing random things? Another new thing I learned today. Nice. Well, Guess I''ll start with the next boo- "Sen! Lunch''s ready!" Lucy said. "Alright Mom! I''ll come up." Luo responded. That was some good timing, I finished the book on time... Luo puts away the book from where he found it, and makes his way up the dusty stairs. Wonder what Mom''s making for lunch, maybe some Steak and Rice? I was surprised they had rice here though. As he thought about lunch, Luo heard some unfamiliar voices through the door. He grabs the doorknob, and pushes the door open. "Mom, I''m up-" Luo said, stopping his sentence. He was interrupted by the sight sitting at the dining table. "Hey Luo! Come, sit next to me. I''ll introduce you to the people that came over." Mom said. Those- those are elves! They also seem to be good friends to Mom and Dad. Wonder what they''re doing here...? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A.N. : This Chapter''s all about introducing Game Mechanics to those who aren''t familiar with the scene. So yeah. Also... THAT CUT OFF WAS SO BAD. Chapter Two: Lunch, Followed By... Luo took his seat next to his mom''s side. "So, Mom. Who are those elves?" Luo said, with a curious tone. "They are our neighbors. As you can tell by the pointy ears, they are elves." Lucy explained. "Nice to meet you, little Luo." The Male elf said. "Let me introduce myself." The male elf stood up. "I am Luvon, and this is my wife Irui." Luvon pointed to his wife soon after. "Hello." Irui said. "And my daughter Sylph." Luvon continued. Sylph stood in silence. "Sylph is a little... shy. Anyway, hello there, little Luo." Luvon said. "So, why are you here?" Luo asked. "Because we wanted to visit our old friends. Especially after they said they had adopted a new member into the family." Luvon said. "Luvon and Irui were really good friends to us in the past, Luo. We used to go adventuring, and it was amazing. Without them, we might not have even been here." Leo said. "And the same goes to us. Without Leo and Lucy, we might not have survived as well... Anyway... Let''s get back to the food. What are you guys making?" Irui said, trying to change the subject. Lucy stood up, and went to the pot. "Your favorite, Boar Stew, with a side of Vitalis Leaves." She smells the stew, and once it has cooked to her liking. She pours out the stew into portions, and passes around the room.. Irui takes the first sip. She seems to be overcomed with joy. "Just like how you used to make it those days ago." "I agree." Luvon remarked. And everyone started to eat. Luvon and Leo started eating the stew quickly, Jema as well, but at a slower pace. Irui had to feed Sylph, Lucy started sipping the food, while Luo ate the stew by himself. It''s good, amazing actually, then again I never had the taste buds for this stuff. Oh well, guess I''ll just finish the stew and the Vitalis leaves. As soon as Luo ate the last Vitalis leaf, he felt somewhat stronger than before, and yes, another notification box popped up. <>New Skill(s) Learned: Enhanced Regeneration, Charge<> Whoa, new skills? Wait, does that mean this meat was fresh, and the leaves as well... Based on the names, the Vitalis Leaves gave me Enhanced Regeneration, and Charge came from the boar meat... Nice. Well, Enhanced Regeneration does what it does, It increases Mana Regen and Health Regen by 25% . Charge is just a melee move that makes me charge at the enemy, dealing good damage. It seems like everyone else has finished eating. "Here, give me the dishes, I''ll clean them for you all." Lucy said. "Thanks, honey." Leo says. "Oh wait! Jema, we have sword-fighting lessons today, don''t we?" "I was waiting for you to remember... Well, Let''s get to the Training Yard." Jema said. They both left, followed by Irui and Luvon. "Luo, you can go watch, I''m here washing the dishes." Lucy spots Sylph. "What about you, Sylph?" Sylph stays silent, but leaves toward the training yard anyhow. Luo follows Sylph from a distance, and see the training yard. The training yard was pretty basic, some dummies, a place to rest, some practice weapons. All average for a fantasy world like this. "Alright Jema. Let''s focus on your defense first. Get into your stance, and prepare yourself." Jema does what she is told, and draws her wooden sword. "Come on Dad, let''s see if I can keep up!" As if responding to her statement, Leo rushes in. Jema was prepared though, so she blocked the first attack. She wasn''t fast enough to counter-attack, so that was all that she could do. Leo recovered quickly, and as such continued to attack with restraint, holding back a lot for his own daughter. As such, Jema responded to those attacks post-haste, with precise blocks. "Good... Good. Now can you block this?!" Leo said, as he then unleashed a flurry of attacks. Jema seemed to concentrate harder and harder as Leo attacked. Strange... Usually a flurry of attacks like that would make those attacks either lose power or have the same amount of attack power each slash. No, wait. Something is definitely off! It looks like... Like the attacks are encircling her. Jema had more and more trouble the more her father attacked. Dodges had to be quicker, the blade in her hand had to be positioned quickly and correctly. Well, Jema already lost. With a flurry like that, she''ll be trapped in a place where she quickly realizes that she''s running out of options. Jema had a moment of realization, but she knew she must act quickly. She tightened the grip on the wooden blade, and changed her stance. She got hit a few times, but that didn''t seem to bother her... What kind of stance is that? Is she seriously not getting hurt by that? Wait... The more that I look at it, is she... Actually at an equal standing against dad? That seems weird... Leo, detecting that his daughter had taken control, lunges in to perform a last attack. "Can you handle this!? Sword Drive..." Pfft. An attack like that actually hitting Jema? No way, she could''ve dodged that easily with that distance away from dad... Wait! Jema quickly sidesteps from the attack, and tried to counter-attack. She raised her sword up, and expected to slash down. However, she felt something hit her side. "... Stun Punch!" Jema couldn''t move her sword down to attack, so Leo took advantage of that, and attacked her, stopping sharply near the neck. "This match is over. Jema." Leo said. Jema started crying. "Hey... Stop crying, you got pretty far today." Still, Jema persisted. "But, I still..." She sniffs. "Haven''t hit you yet Dad!" "I did say that was just on defense, I still can''t believe you recognized the weakness to my flurry of attacks. You took the initiative to change your stance to defense... Just like I taught you." Leo said, half meaning for her to stop crying. And half actually being proud. "But you still have to remember. You should never let your guard down. You were so focused on attacking me, that you didn''t even see the punch. Got that?" Leo said. "Yes." Jema sniffles. "Yes, I do." "Now, that spar probably took a lot out of you, and that''s fine. Go take a fifteen to twenty minute break, and next I''ll have you practice those stances you like so much." Leo said. Jema nodded, and went to go grab a canteen from the house. Leo goes and rests with the elves. "You never change Leo. I remember you using all sorts of tricks like that to get through battles." Luvon commented. "Well, It''s just what I was taught." Leo sees Luo. "Oh, hey there Luo. Did you enjoy seeing the spar?" Leo asked. Luo nodded. "Yeah, I did. But how did you do that final attack?" I didn''t do that, instead, I used the power that went into Sword Drive and directed the power into Stun Punch. That way, I could use Stun Punch effectively." Hm? A new notification box? Well, Skill Cancel''s a skill in which you can stop one skill in turn for another. This skill is pretty cool, say I was using a movement skill, if I canceled the spell, I would still keep the momentum, and I could lunge in and attack. It has a 15 second Cooldown though. (Intrusion time! In this world, using two skills at the same time is hard. Say, an archer is using a skill kick, and at the same time want to launch an arrow at their opponents. Doing it at the same time may cause a lack of power in the follow up arrow, so they never use that. It depends on the type of skills they''re using. Everyone can use two skills at the same time IF they train to do so. The training is excruciating, but worth it. Skill Cancel can also be learned and trained as well.) Nice, another skill to put in my skill box. Nice I guess dad counted as a Skill Trainer, or people who can give skills. When he taught me about that attack, I guess because I understood it, I learned it just like that. Amazing. I wonder how else I can gain skills... "So Leo. When are you going to train your son?" Luvon asked. "I''ll train him when he''s five. That''s when I started to train Jema after all." "Jema''s seven now? Isn''t that right?" Irui asked. "Yeah, she''s come a long way... Still not at where I used to be. Maybe her compatibility to my style is different..." "Well, maybe. But you remember right?" Luvon asked. "Yeah. No matter what befalls us..." Leo said. "You know what it was. Luvon! To the house! Luo, hide somewhere." Leo said. He walked over to where the weapons were stored, he grabbed a metal blade out of the chest and headed toward the house. What the hell is happening? Well, I guess bandit attacks do happen here...Wait, they might be coming in from here as well... I should grab a- wait. I can just summon one myself! Good way to test it out. "Weapon Materialization: Sword." Luo said. Nothing happens. What? Why didn''t that- Oh there''s a notification box. <>No Template Found.<> <>Sacrifice Object to Replicate<> That''s new. That wasn''t specified on the Skill Description. I have to do this quick. I can''t dawdle around. Luo grabs a wooden sword and holds it. What do I do now? Hmm... A notification box pops up. <>Do you want to save this weapon as a template?<> Luo pushes in the Yes Button. As soon as he did that, the sword in his hand disappears. <>Analysis Complete: Sword<> Now can I summon it? Let''s try... "Weapon Materialization: Sword." A sword appears in his hand. It doesn''t consist of wood, but of a magical metal. Hm? What is this material? Hm... Anyway. There''s one more thing. I can probably enchant this sword with item customization, even if it is a summoned weapon, it keeps all modifications. Well, let''s just do a basic enchantment. "Item Customization." A customize screen popped up. There are sliders to change the settings, and a picture of the weapon on the left side. Ugh, whatever. Let''s just add something onto this. Sharpness could really deal some more damage. If I add Speed, I could swing it faster... Think, think! Well... I should just add both then. I would still have a little less than 170 MP if I need it. Alright. Luo does the necessary taps to enchant the sword. Phew... Alright, well, now I guess I have a chance. Just in case... Luo writes ''Sense'' and ''Speed'' on himself. Great, now I can pinpoint this attacker down... Ah! There they are! Around the corner of the house! Wait! That''s a- An arrow slings from a crossbow. Luo sidesteps from the arrow, and prepares himself. Shit, that was really close... Oh well. I''m just gonna have to rush at them if they''re a crossbow user, right? As the attacker reloaded the crossbow, Luo took the only opportunity he can to attack. He rushed in, preparing for any surprises. Training from the other world, don''t fail me now! "Charge!" Luo, creating that opportunity came in and struck with the handle of his sword instead of the blade. It detailed of course, how to use mana from your mana pool. First, you get some power from where your mana pool usually is, it''s envisioned to be somewhere above the stomach. Of course, you could draw some from the air too, but that''s for another book. Then, you form it. Saying the spell is usually the best way of forming it. Staves are pretty useful too, as they too have a mana pool, but usually are limited to one element. Speaking of elements, every person is born with an innate talent to a certain element. When a spell is used, and the elements align, the spell gets stronger. Then, it also detailed where mana originally came from. They say the Sun God, Sol, and The Moon God, Umbra, had a great battle. It was originally for who gets more time to encompass Aethis, and in return, gets more power because more people are worshipping them. It''s nice to meet you two, let''s get you acquainted and all of that, yeah? Come, follow me." Someone had took Luo''s and Jema''s bags and promised to get them to their rooms. After that, the both of them followed the uncle into the home. The home was looked great. Marble walls and columns lined the halls. Statues, paintings, and just art could be seen everywhere. There were also some pictures as well, depicting the previous owners of the home. Illon toured then around. To their bedrooms that were right next to each other, the library, which Luo quietly enjoyed. The library was well-decorated, with many floors of books, and lights that seem to resemble Mana Crystals. "Our family, the Adagnis, pride ourselves on the amount of knowledge we have collected over time. You can read almost every one of these books." Luo gave a confused look. "Hm? Why ''almost''? Uncle Illon?" "There are some books that have been cursed and the like. And things you can''t read... Yet. I''ll get to that later. Now then, let''s move on." Eventually, the trio made it over to the training yard. The training yard was state-of-the-art. At this time period at least. A place to practice Archery, another for swordplay. Pretty much everything a fighter needs. Jema, though she doesn''t speak much, expressed joy. "Wow! This, this is pretty nice." Jema said, little excitement in her voice. He saw both Galleya and Jema. Hm? Guess Jema''s pretty much done with the room? It seems like they''re both practicing, guess Galleya''s helping Jema out in her training? Well... It gives me a good way of sneaking around and not having my true power being revealed I guess. Let''s see what''s around here... After a little bit of exploring, Luo found... "A garden?"
