If you asked me, it kind of looks like a pill that you swallow, I heard some people had their custom built for them so they look cool I just got a standard one. I take what¡¯s left of my paper money out of my wallet and hand it to the older man of the pair, he smiles at me then leaves. I spend the next twenty minutes setting everything up with the pod. Once it''s all done I hope in. "Activate." The next thing I see is a lot of rainbow colors then I''m inside what looks like to be a white room with no details.

Elves:One of the oldest races ever, this means they are incredibly intelligent. They all live inside of forest meaning they are close to nature. Perks: 2.0 plus all wind skills 1.5 minus growth. Evolution: Grand Elf
Demon: Similar to elves they are very ancient and have pointy ears they also have horns that extend from their foreheads. They mostly live in dark ash lands that suit their needs. Perks: 1.0 resistance to fire 0.5 minus to holy weapons. Evolution: Skull Demon
Dwarfs: Small creatures are around the same height as goblins. Their main way of trade is in weapon and armor smithery since the live underground close to the ores they need for forging. Perks: 1.5 plus strength 1.0 minus water skills. Evolution: Dwarf Commander
Dragonoid: Beings that only have inherited the dragon''s blood but have not taken the full form of a dragon. They are the only race to have tails and scales in Zion. Perks: 2.5 plus in speed 3.0 minus in growth. Evolution: Dragon Overlord
Nightingale: A race of winged humanoids, said to be related to Angels. With their beauty, exquisite voices and nomadic nature, they are well known as bards and dancers. They are pretty rare and they are able to live on any location as long as they have companions. Perks: 3.5 plus in speed 5.0 minus in independence. Evolution: Kinara.
Lesser Homunculus: A race created by other races. They are close to humanoid except they have completely white skin and red eyes .When they were first created, they were used to test drugs and other poisons. There were also attempt to use them as clones for real people but it was never successful. They now just roam the world. Perks: 1.0 plus all stats, 5.0 minus poison resistance. Evolution: Greater Homunculus.

I click yes. ¡°Now for the most important part to decide your element.¡± Element is the most important thing in the game unlike most games there are no different classes instead every person has an element that decides what skills you can use and what they are resistant to it decides nearly everything in the game. ¡°Now, let¡¯s get to your element.¡± A big white sphere as big as my head appears in front of me it begins to turn around fast as rainbow colors shine off of it.

I watch as the sphere continues to spin around and rainbow colors shine off it after awhile the sphere starts to slow down and I can see each color moving slowly the sphere is just about to stop. Sirens start going off all around the room and red lights start blazing all around me.

A large door made of fire appears in the side of room a figure made out of blue flames walks out. ¡°Begone, you evil spawn!¡± Fernell starts to fly then shoots of beams of dark energy. A wall of fire protects the figure then chains shoot out from the wall of fire the wrap around Fernell and bring him crashing to the ground. The figure walks over to me, I can¡¯t move. I don¡¯t know why, maybe out of fear that this figure could ruin everything for me right here, right now or maybe the figure has done something so I can¡¯t move I don¡¯t know. All I do know is that I¡¯m at his mercy. The figure stands in front of me, his hand touches my chest. I feel a warm sensation enter through my entire body.

Everything blurs around me then my vision goes black. Chapter 2 When I open my eyes, I''m inside a church, also known as the spawn point for when you die or start the game. I look around and I see four other people, one female nightingale. She is beautiful has long black hair with a stunning body and a pair of black wings on her back. Two male elves each one with blond hair the taller one has a mohawk and the shorter one has a buzzcut. They both look slightly girly but in the end, they are guys. The last one is a hulking black demon who''s muscles look like they could crush cars. He doesn''t have any hair on his head, only horns... Two massive ones extending from his forehead. Each one of us is wearing the same thing green t-shirts with brown trousers. I get up from the floor and walk out the door. I have no interest in grouping up with these people for no other reason then I don''t have to.

You can ask the system to help point you in the direction of a monster that¡¯s the same level as you but it does not work on boss level monsters or rare monsters. I followed the arrow until I hear the sound of snoring the arrow disappears. I crouch down and try to blend in as much as possible to my surroundings. Alright... So only one level above me that means if I fight all of them at once, they will kill me. And a one on one fight, I would lose unless I ambushed one. Great... So, kinda hopeless but I do have a form of a plan. I grab a handful of pebbles off the ground. I take a deep breath and aim carefully and throw one at the closest gorilla. The pebble hits the gorilla lightly. It rubs its nose with its huge paw. I throw another pebble, this time, it wakes the gorilla. It stands up and looks around for where the pebble came from when he is facing away from me, I throw another pebble. It hits the back of its head and it turns around not angry, it''s just sleepy... All the better for me. It strolls over to me, it walks on its back legs with its arms at its side. I''m hiding in the bushes in the springboard position ready to cut is down. It walks past me then stops and looks around. Before it can move, I leap from my hiding position so fast the gorilla didn''t even notice anything before I lodged my sword into its head.

I, like the rest of the people in here, have been searching through the source code of Elemental Online since the incident twenty minutes ago when some unknown code entered and did something to the system. ¡°Hey Satoshi, don¡¯t you think this is just a little weird?¡± I turn to my best friend and by best I mean only friend, Jack. ¡°No, I don¡¯t think it¡¯s strange that the head of the coding department came to each of our lower level departments and took us here, to a large underground dark room full of high-tech neural computers to sort through mounds of code, to look for some ghost code that broke through twenty randomly password generated firewalls.¡± ¡°You don¡¯t have to be sarcastic...¡± ¡°I¡¯m not being sarcastic, we work for the creators of the only world superpower left: Invision Corp, the inventors of full dive tech and Elemental Online so really it¡¯s not that suspicious if they have underground workplaces.¡± ¡°I can see your point but still they should have at least put something about this in the contract we all signed when we started working here.¡± This time, he has a point. This is weird but when you take into account who we work for it¡¯s not that weird. ¡°Jack, stop talking and maybe you will find the code we¡¯re all looking for.¡± ¡°Fine, but I still think this is all weird.¡± Good... I can see the code now, it¡¯s clearly a worm virus so this was the work of a hacker but what kind of hacker could have done this? ¡°Alright everyone, access the code using your neural cords.¡± What? Is this guy insane? Using the neural cord to send our minds into the source code of Elemental Online just for some simple worm virus!? ¡°That¡¯s suicide! Using the neural cords to send our minds into the source code of something so big as Elemental Online could kill us!!!¡± ¡°And why do we even have to do it it¡¯s just some simple worm virus?¡± I¡¯m glad someone brought it up. ¡°Not true... Everyone in here was chosen because they can handle the neural link and if you do die, you''re next of kin will be paid enough to not worry about it...¡± Great... Now, I feel so good about it. ¡°And if you still don¡¯t feel like complying then you can walk out the doors of this facility and be fired from Invision Corp. You all know what happens when you get fired from Invision Corp, you get banned from Elemental Online and it will be a permanent black mark on your work card so I doubt you will ever be hired by anyone else. So any more questions can be taken up with someone who gives a damn.¡± He didn¡¯t even mention anything about the worm virus. Great... So either jump through a ring of fire or walk through a shooting gallery as a target, not much choice now, is there? I grab the two silver cables from the console, each cable has short blue tentacles at the end of them. I plug them into my ears and feel myself be absorbed by the neural cables.

Finally, I¡¯ve killed four of these by now. I look up at the virtual sky that at times looks much more amazing then the really one. The sun is slowly starting to set, letting the sky be bathed in orange beauty. ¡°Grrrr...¡± I jump back to my hiding place out of panic. I look where the sound came from. It¡¯s one of the gorillas, it¡¯s fully awake now and stretching. It looks around for a second then walks off, I wait a few more minutes for another gorilla to wake up. This one doesn¡¯t look around it just walks in the same direction as the first one. So if I had to guess, I think these creature must only be active at night. Alright so because I¡¯ve leveled up I also gained one evolve point I sure hope that there is a faster way of getting those because if not I¡¯ll be level five hundred before I can evolve. I also got some Attribute points to spend. Alright, so first priority should be health so I¡¯ll place 3 points into vitality then I¡¯ll place 2 into strength so I can increase my attack strength. That¡¯s why you shot your element at me. ¡°Well, it¡¯s good seeing you again and I see that you have made a party with some good people so I will be going now...¡± I go to walk forward past the Nightingale but before I can, a fire ball lands near my feet. I¡¯m standing in the central coding world for Elemental Online. I look all around the virtual world that was created by the neural link to make it easier for our human brains to understand the coding world. I look out into the pink sky and see hundreds of clouds made from the coding of Elemental online. I walk to the side of the bridge made from blue coding and look over the edge and see my reflection in the digital water. My mind''s avatar for the neural link is still a green armoured Samurai. If it was up to me, I would have chosen something else but the neural link looks deep inside my mind to see how I truly see myself and apparently, it''s a green samurai. Other people''s avatars start appearing one by one by spirals of light. A big red gorilla covered in long strands of purple hair walks up to me. ¡°Don¡¯t say anything...¡± ¡°I wasn¡¯t going say anything but if I did, I would say something like that your avatar suits you perfectly, Jack: a big dumb gorilla with nothing but stupid looks on it¡¯s face for emotions, just like you in real life.¡± ¡°Why am I friends with you?¡± ¡°We''re friends because I am a great conversationalist ¡± Jack moves over to the side of me and stares into the water. I think he is trying to make his gorilla hair look good on him... That¡¯s not going to happen. Now let¡¯s go.¡± I know to most people who have never used a neural link computer would think that what the rabbit said might sound a bit weird but it¡¯s actually quite common for people to give out this warning because unlike most virtual reality, neural linking is dangerous because it physically connects you brain to the computer through the neural cable. That means that right now we are all in serious danger because if our avatars that represent our brains die in here then our bodies never get their full functions back and we become vegetables. Another worry is that we get lost in here meaning even if we are alive in here, we can never return to our actual bodies. That¡¯s why neural computers are banned from public usage and kept a secret from most people and companies. ¡°Now, Charge!!¡± And that¡¯s what everyone does except me, I was never much for running. I just walk casually and watch the others. Once I get close enough, I can see it a giant red worm it¡¯s trying to smash through the firewall. Everyone else has already surrounded it and has draws their weapons ready to exterminate the worm virus. Our fearless rabbit leader charges ahead with his ninja blade drawn ready to slash apart the worm. Just before the blade made contact, the big red worm burst into blue flames. The flesh quickly melted off the worm revealing a figure draped in a cloak of blue flames. It was impossible to see anything past the flames but there was one thing I knew: we were all wrong¡­ This was never a simple worm virus, this was someone using a neural computer to hack into Elemental Online. Chapter 4 ¡°48 E-Currency is all I can give you for these items.¡± ¡°Seriously? Only 48? You can¡¯t go a little higher?¡± ¡°49, that¡¯s my highest offer take it or go somewhere else.¡± Dammit! I can¡¯t go anywhere else and he fucking knows it. ¡°Fine... I¡¯ll take the 49.¡±

Well, I guess now is a good time as any. I walk to a nearby bench and sit down. I open up the logout menu and logout. There¡¯s a flash of bright light and then, I¡¯m inside my VR pod. I press the the button on the inside of the capsule, the lid to the capsule moves, I get out of it and into my one room apartment. I suddenly get the urge to go to the toilet so I run over to the door that leads to the small bathroom. I open the door and go into a bathroom that only has one thing: toilet and a sink. Once I¡¯ve finished there, I wash my hands then go to the kitchen that¡¯s built into the entrance way. I make a sandwich filled with some meat and veg. I place it on a plate then walk to the table in the middle of my room and put it down. I start rummaging through the mess of books and other items on my desk against one of my spare walls then I finally find what I¡¯m looking for: a small white earpiece that has a single button on it. I place it into my ear and push the button. ¡°Earcom Booting up...¡± A Robotic voice sounds through my head. A few seconds later, a dazzling star background comes into view with the words Invision Corp on it. It disappears then a blue screen appears in front of me just like in Elemental Online.

A hub screen comes into my view it has a nice beach background one I picked out myself on the sides of the screen it has different tabs. Music Internet Videos News Games Call Contacts ¡°Music.¡± It brings up lists of playlists and songs. ¡°Chill playlist.¡± Music starts playing inside my head, I find it very relaxing. ¡°News.¡± The music list disappears and a news feed appears with different articles about things. Most are on Elemental Online but a few others are on different things. I start reading through the articles while eating my sandwich. There is some news on the update taking place right now. It is supposed to be finished by tomorrow morning. Once I¡¯m done, I place the plate in the sink and lie down onto my floor just listening to music and browsing the internet.

Alright, so I¡¯ve been in there for a day and 4 hours. I press the button on my Earcom and all the screens turn off and sound returns to my ears. I hear knocking coming from my front door. I walk to my front door and place my hand on it, the door turns see through and I can see who wants to see me. A woman wearing a long black dress with a fancy handbag over her shoulder that uses golden chains instead of leather for a strap. I think I can hear chuckling coming from the hacker. The hacker pulls its arm back then tries to hit me. I jumped back to avoid being hit. Four small balls of blue fire appear chains made out of blue fire come at me. I parry the chains with my swords just in time. The hacker walks back to the center of the group while shooting off chains of fire at random people. The flames around it starts to change more and more until they turn green but the changes did not stop, they soon take the form of me. This shouldn''t even be possible... There is no one in the world who can use the activation weapon to change forms. There must be something else going on here. In a flash, the hacker appeared before me and swung down. I parried with my sword and then countered with a twin slash from both my swords. Now, the green armoured samurai figure blocked with its swords. We were quickly locked in a fierce fight. Every move I made, the other green samurai blocked then countered. Jake came and punched the other green samurai. Unfortunately, it blocked in the last seconds. The green samurai jumped back to safer ground. I have no idea why maybe fear or some other reason but as I saw those bolts of white flame coming towards me, I knew I was going to die and I could accept that. Before I knew it, Jack jumped in front of me and shielded me from death, the bolts of white flame skewed through Jack¡¯s entire body. ¡°... Jack...¡± My voice came out rasp and croaky. He just stared at me for a few seconds then started walking back to the firewall that he had originally been working on. ¡°Are you ignoring me, you filthy hacker?¡± The beam now reached a whole new level, so much the terrain around started to change the platform was cracking in places. Incredible... This person is this strong. But still the hacker pain no mind to the attack and just casually walked up to the firewall, the hacker placed its hand onto the wall. I lower my body into a crouch and slowly waddle like a duck towards where the sounds are coming from.I push a bush out of they way and see where the sound was coming from. It¡¯s Damn... He¡¯s fighting off a pack of Sabertooth Wolverines, and losing. He is strong but when facing off against multiple enemies, power is not everything. ¡°[Spinning Shadow Arrows]!¡± Four large spinning arrows made out of darkness shoot out from the trees each arrow hits one off the Sabertooth Wolverines, causing critical hits, letting Damn kill them. Next, walks out a man in black robes. He has white hair black skin and piercing blue eyes. I recognize the race immediately: he¡¯s a Nightman they¡¯re a rare human subspecies closely related to vampires. Damn finishes off the Sabertooth Wolverines but before Damn can take a break, two more sabertooth wolverines emerge from the woods. Now, I could save him or leave normally. I would just keep on passing by but I owe Damn and I know he is an alright guy, just a little too much of the roleplaying so I¡¯ll help him out. I charge out in front of Damn and block the Sabretooth wolverine¡¯s assault with my new sword. The sabertooth wolverines teeth clash against my sword, causing sparks to fly. The sabertooth wolverines are going crazy, clawing and snapping at me. One of the stray claws cuts into my leg.

We move slowly keeping our eyes and ears open for the slightest monster. ¡°Screeee!!¡± A nail biting cry comes from further down the cave. ¡°Damn, light it up!¡± ¡°A hero always lights the way, [Flame Stream]!¡± Fire shoots out of Damn¡¯s hand like a flame thrower. It lights up the darkness of the cave revealing the creature that made the cry. It''s a big spider as big as a grown man''s head, its body is black with big red eyes and sharp teeth. ¡°[Identify].¡±

So these are the monster of the cave... Kinda expected to see spiders but not something this ugly. Damn charged the monster. I couldn''t follow the fight exactly, all I saw was his glowing axe make streaks of fire. ¡°[Black Shock Spheres].¡± Midnight shot off some of his black spheres, I couldn''t tell if they hit anything but I did hear some cries of pain come from the monsters. ¡°Hero Neon, two of the vile spawn are making their way to you.¡± Okay, time for some action. Two of the spiders come from the darkness, one of them leaps at me. I block with my sword but the spider sinks its teeth into my sword. I see out of the corner of my eye the second one is trying to get to Midnight. I hit it with my torch causing only slight damage but at least I''ve got it¡¯s attention. The new spider leaps at me so I duck down then roll under both spiders I find myself against a wall. The two spider have me cornered... They both leap at me, I block one with my sword while the other one sinks its big sharp teeth into my arm.

Shit! I try to shake them off but they''re both stuck in tight. I run and slam them into the other side of them cave. I feel their grip weaken but not dislodged. ¡°Neon, hold up them up!¡± I did what Midnight said: I held both of the spiders up in the air while their still sunk into my arms. ¡°[Dark Bolt].¡± A bolt of black lighting strikes the two spider throwing them off my arms and high into the air. Before either one of the creepy spiders can move, I cut down the last few points of their HP. Each spider disappears into little balls of light.

I took down around three more with the help of Midnight while Damn took down eight all by himself and Midnight killed two by himself. ¡°It¡¯s looking alright, I¡¯m only down sixty points.¡± ¡°Hmm... Alright, use a potion. Once we clear the next floor, what about you, Damn?¡± ¡°My hero HP is strong, only down about twenty points.¡± How did his HP still so high? Did he take a potion or is he just really good at fighting? We continue down to the next floor using the stairs at the back of the cave and reach the second floor. The fight was rough, the spiders on the second floor kept jumping off the walls to attack us. In the end, it took around twenty seven minutes to clear the second floor. I quickly drank a healing potion bringing my health back up to max. ¡°All right, let us rest here for a little while then challenge the boss.¡± I slumped down against a wall and rested my head. Midnight came over to me and sat down. ¡°How are you doing?¡± ¡°Just fine, some of these monsters got a few good hits in but thanks to a healing potion I¡¯m back up to full capacity.¡± ¡°Good to hear... Be careful in the next fight though, it will be dangerous.¡± ¡°Shouldn''t you be saying that to Damn?¡± ¡°No way, that big idiot doesn¡¯t need anybody to look out for him.¡± ¡°And why is that?¡± ¡°Well he might not look it but he is a proficient in Judo, Kickboxing, Karate,Aikido, Taekwondo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Boxing.¡± ¡°Why does he know all those?¡± ¡°His family is crazy... They''re each pro¡¯s in some kind of martial arts and each one passed on something to him, that¡¯s why he is so good at fighting in this game.¡± ¡°Then why does he use an axe, wouldn''t some kind fighting glove be better?¡± ¡°Yes, it would be but apparently an axe is very heroic in his eyes.¡± ¡°Great Hero Midnight, are you telling Amazing Hero, Neon here the tale of the amazing great hero, Damn? Cause if you are, I should be the one to tell him!¡± Damn sat down in right between me and Midnight he wrapped his arm around both of us. Oh... What have I gotten myself into? For the next what felt like an hour, Damn told us the tale of how he was raised in the hero''s house and trained in the hero way and then about how he a pet brown dragon named snuzzle. I¡¯ll admit, I blocked nearly all of it out. ¡°So what do you think of my hero tale?¡± ¡°... Fantastic...¡± ¡°Great then. Now, let us go vanquish the great spider evil!¡± We headed down to the final floor. The cave was much bigger than the last ones we had been in as well as the entire cave was being lit up by the blue glowing walls. At the back of the cave, there was a single huge spider as big as a tank. It has black with big red eyes and sharp teeth and the tips of its legs were pale white. ¡°Identify.¡±

Alright, looks like this will be tough but at least, we won¡¯t need the torches anymore and I don¡¯t see any other monsters around so that will make it easy. ¡°Damn, get Giggin''s attention and keep it as much as possible. Neon, I want you to find the boss monster¡¯s weak point. There is one built into every boss so I¡¯ll stay at the back and provide support and keep an eye open for any surprises. Now, let¡¯s get this boss fight underway.¡±
Editor:Senizal Fi Chrora Chapter 9 Let me just say this: I have a new found hate for spiders. ¡°Neon, look out!¡± I dive under another shot of acid. We¡¯ve all been fighting Giggin for around twenty minutes now. We have been able to take down a quarter of its health but it¡¯s still giving us a fight. So far we have seen it shoot venom and acid from it¡¯s mouth. It can also swipe at us with it¡¯s legs if we get too close too it. ¡°Damn, get it¡¯s attention, Neon move it!¡± ¡°[Flame Signal]!¡± A large pillar of fire comes from Damn getting Giggin¡¯s attention. I take my chance and rush in. I draw my sword and slash down at Giggin¡¯s big-ass spider head. It does only light damage but it¡¯s the only weak spot we¡¯ve been able to find so far. Spikes start growing out of Giggin and I know what''s coming, I turn around and run for it. I can¡¯t see the incoming shower of spikes but I can feel them coming. I just have to wait for Midnight to tell me to duck down. ¡°Damn Neon, get down now!¡± Again, I dive into the ground making dirt fly up. I feel the spikes fly over the top of me I look and see them fall just short of Midnight. Luckily for him, he¡¯s just out side the attack range. ¡°Damn, return attacking. Neon, fall back for a sec.¡± Damn run back being almost happy to be fighting the giant spider. I run back to outside the attack range. ¡°Neon, why ain¡¯t you using your Element?¡± Crap! He asked... Well, he was bound to notice I wasn¡¯t using my element till now. ¡°Trust me, I don¡¯t have any Element skills that would help with fight.¡± ¡°Alright if you say so, then time to try plan B.¡± ¡°Plan B?¡± ¡°Yes, Damn, you ready?¡± ¡°A hero is always ready.¡± He says that while fighting a giant black acid spitting spider, ain¡¯t video games just great? ¡°Alright, here¡¯s the plan: Damn, I want you to throw Neon on top of Giggin.¡± ¡°Wait, what?¡± Before I could voice any more objections, somehow Damn got over to me incredibly fast and threw me up high over the Giggin. I can only imagine how many points he must have put into his strength stat to be able to throw me this high. I quickly got my sword drawn and waited till I fell. I came down like a stone: falling fast. I hit straight into the abdomen. I don¡¯t think that Giggin even noticed me landing.I start to hack away causing only minimal damage. ¡°Raaaawwwww!!!¡± Giggin let out a loud raar. I think Giggin has noticed me now. Giggin started to shake violently. ¡°Hero Neon, I think you should get off.¡± ¡°Good idea!¡± I quickly jumped off and ran towards the safe distance. I met Midnight and Damn there. I looked back over at Giggin. The white on Giggins legs was slowly starting to crawl up the rest of the body until it reached Giggin¡¯s head. It launched its body at as with incredible speed. ¡°Everyone, get down!¡± We each dove into the dirt just in time to feel a giant spider leg pace over our heads. Before I knew what had happened, I found myself under Giggin. The underbelly of Giggin seem to also be armoured like the rest of the body. I look around for Damn or Midnight but I can¡¯t see either of them Out the corner of my eye, I see something red and glowing. I crawl my way over to it and find out that it¡¯s a glowing red crystal. What could this be?

¡°Screeeee!!!¡± This time, Giggin lets out a pain filled scream. Giggin jumps far away from me. I stand up and make a break for behind a pillar of stone. ¡°Hero Neon, catch!¡± I look towards where the voice came from and see my sword coming towards me so I catch it. I see Damn and Midnight hiding behind another pillar just across from me. ¡°So you too survived?¡± ¡°Yeah, thanks to you.¡± ¡°Where has the valiant hero Neon been this whole time?¡± ¡°I¡¯ve been underneath Giggin and I¡¯ve found it¡¯s weak spot.¡± ¡°You have?¡± ¡°Yes, it¡¯s a small red jewel called the heart of Giggin.¡± ¡°So if the hero Neon can get underneath the vile villain Giggin once more, he can inflict serious justice.¡± ¡°Yes.¡± I wonder how much HP Giggin has left. ¡°Identify.¡±

Alright, so we were able to get Giggin health below half... Now, all we need to do is get it down to zero. ¡°Got a plan Midnight?¡± ¡°Yes me and Damn will keep it stuck in one place then when we give you the signal. I want you to get underneath Giggin and slash that heart to pieces.¡± ¡°Sounds good too me!¡± Damn and Midnight charge out and face Giggin. Damn takes the right side and seems to be able to fight Giggin rather easily while Midnight seems to be having some trouble. ¡°[Dark Bolt]!¡± Midnights sends me a wink. It¡¯s the signal. I dash forward towards Giggin and at the last second, I slide underneath Giggin. I grab ahold of Giggins under armour to stop myself from over sliding. Giggin starts to buckle like a wild bull but I don¡¯t let go even for a second. I see Giggin¡¯s heart just out of arm''s reach. I move inches closer while hanging onto Giggin and I slash and hit Giggins heart directly.

¡°Screeeee!!!¡± Giggin buckles even more jumping around off the walls even. I find it hard to hold in but I manage for how long, I don¡¯t know¡­ I prepare for one more hit when suddenly purple gas spurts out of Giggin hitting me in the face.

Shit... The gas is blinding me. I can¡¯t see a thing. I start swinging the sword around trying to hit anything. I feel my fingers start to slip, I can¡¯t hold on much longer. I make one last attempt to strike Giggin¡¯s heart.

I¡¯m in what looks like some kind of surgical lab. There are all kinds of different equipment on the walls. I feel the cold steel of a surgical table underneath my body. I try to stand up but restraints keep me on the table. ¡°Begin experiment codename: Giggin.¡± A male voice I don¡¯t recognize sounds through the room. I feel something crawl up my leg... It has spiny legs, lots of them. An unknown fear grips my heart then I start breathing faster and ragged. More things crawl up my legs, the fear grips me so tightly now that I can¡¯t move my body. I just stare up at the ceiling. Why am I so scared? I have never been this scared of anything in my life so why am I so scared now? The crawling continues all over my body, there are so many I can¡¯t keep track. I break out into a cold sweat. The fear becomes stronger it now grips my entire body. I want to scream, I want to run away, I want to ball up and cry. A spider crawls over my eye. The fear runs rampant through my body. Now, I want to breath, I want to swallow the saliva in my throat but my body just freezes solid as the spider is the only thing on my mind. The very thought of it being near me sends me into a shock. More spiders crawl over my face and soon I¡¯m swarming with large ugly scary spiders crawling all over me. Why do these spiders make me so scared? How did I get here? Where is here? Who¡¯s voice was that? What are spiders? Who am I? ¡°Subject one hundred and seven has successfully crystallized. Commence the operation.¡± The crawling vanishes, the fear vanishes and my sanity returns. People in white coats and surgical masks appear with large blades in their hands. Out of the corner of my eye, I see the flaming figure once more. It walks closer the people in the surgical equipment and they didn¡¯t notice the figure approaching. The figure stands over me as the flames waver, revealing a pair of feminine bloodshot eyes. ¡°Sir, the subject¡¯s mind has stopped fluctuation.¡± I continue to stare into the deep blood shot eyes. ¡°It does not matter, project Giggin will be a success with the collection of subject one hundred and seven¡¯s brain.¡± I hear the sound of blades being sharpened but no matter what, I can¡¯t seem to pull myself away from those bloodshot eyes looking down at me. The flaming figure moves in close to my ear... He is just staring at the ceiling as the people in white coats cut into him with their blades. The blades and saws cut deep into him blood splatters everywhere, organs are exposed and bones are broken but the boy never even flinches. I feel sick just from seeing the scene. I just stick my head under the tap and let the water run over me. What was that some kind of weird dream? No, it couldn''t be it felt so real. They called it the Giggin experiment- Could it have something to do with the boss monster that me, Damn and Midnight killed in Elemental Online? No... That¡¯s impossible. The calendar alarm on my wall goes off. Shit! It¡¯s already that time of the month... I take a shower to try and get the stink of vomit off me while trying even harder to forget what just happened. I quickly get dressed and place my bank card into my pocket. I lock my door as I leave my apartment. Once I¡¯m outside, I signal for a hover taxi. A yellow hover cab with a robotic driver stops in front of me. I hop in. ¡°Destination, sir?¡± ¡°Saint Gerald¡¯s public hospital.¡± ¡°Yes, sir.¡± The taxi takes off. I place my Earcom into my ear then turn it on. I begin to scan through different forums, trying to see if anyone knows of something weird that happens when you defeat the Giggin boss. There are a few mentions of rare item drops but beside that nothing else. ¡°We have arrived sir, that will be 67 E-currency.¡± I swipe my bank card into the back of the driver''s robotic head. ¡°Thank you for the transaction, sir. Have a pleasant day.¡± I turn off my Earcom then exit the taxi. I walk through the large automatic hospital doors into a waiting room. I walk over to the teleporter disk for floor three.

A blue hologram window appears in front of me. I press the yes button then I¡¯m quickly teleported to the third floor. I walk the hallways that say the words intensive ward as I try to ignore how bad those words are. I reach room 109. I walk inside and seat down into the chair. A man in a white doctor''s coat walks in. He has curly brown hair with a thin brown mustache. This is my doctor, Mr Oswald. Small flashbacks of what happened inside the room hit me but I quickly push them to the back of my mind. ¡°Hello Jun, punctual as always.¡± ¡°Well... If I wasn¡¯t, I would be dead now, wouldn''t I?¡± ¡°Hahaha! True. Now, how about that injection?¡± Mr Oswald pulls out a long syringe as he taps it a few times. ¡°Now, roll up your shirt.¡± I do as he says and before I can say anything else, he stabs the syringe into my arm so there''s only minimal pain. ¡°There, that should tie you over for another three months.¡± What Mr Oswald just injected into me was a cell rejuvenator, it heals dead cells and keeps me from dying. I was born with a rare disease called Cellular Decomposition, it means the cells in my body will die faster than those in a normal human. When I was born, it was just in stage one but when I entered my twenties, it entered stage two. Now, the disease has become increasingly more aggressive and my body''s cells are dying incredibly fast. So now to earn money, I dive into Elemental Online for the money I need to pay for my medication. ¡°So how much is it doc?¡± ¡°Five hundred E-currency.¡± I use my bank card to pay for my treatment. ¡°That¡¯s all for today, doc.¡± ¡°Yes, it is. See ya next time then.¡± I just lost more than half of my money in one day. Fantastic... I need to log back in and earn some money fast.
