 Prologue: Memories

    I don''t remember why am I here or how did I get here. Surrounded by blue bricks with flames of blue colours close to the walls, it was a rather mesmerizing scene yet very odd.


    Trying to remember what I could figure out, I could clearlyreminiscemy life. You could even say I could remember way better than before.


    For some reason I went to the recollection of the time I was born to my teen life. I remember I sometimes wanted to jump from the balcony just because my parents say I will get hurt if I jump down.


    It may be partly due to me seeking attention but I was not aware of it. I was adept in sports and okay in studies if you were to exclude a few subjects.


    Then I realized I was not able to feel any emotions from being parted by my parents. I started to feel sad. Not due to me being unable to see my parents but due to the fact I can¡¯t feel anything for them now even though I remember my past self to be very attached to them.


    Trying to remember such useless things at this time was not useful. In the back of my mind I thought of it being a hero summoning of some sort due to the dungeon-esque feeling.


    But I didn¡¯t put much consideration in it due to me thinking that I am not so special, probably also due my low self esteem.


    Also including the fact there were no such things such as magic circles or people around me the fact it¡¯s a hero summoning somewhat lessened.


    I was hoping I was still on Earth and not some other place where god knows what lives. Considering the surreal stuff surrounding me I was probably in another place.Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more.


    As I was thinking such things I saw an open door behind me, with darkness looming inside it even though the blue flames were lighting up brightly.


    I was still hesitating whether to enter it or just stay here. Staying here won¡¯t help me so I built up the courage and went through the door.


    As I entered the whole room started to brighten up. My hopes of this being a hero summoning increased only to be betrayed by my expectations.


    What welcomed me was a sight of blue blobs with very small pair of black dots on its face floating around with no aim. Suddenly as I made my entrance they all stared at me and crept towards me.


    I was befuddled at their reaction. The term monster came instantly came to my mind but with their calm appearance I didn¡¯t want to believe it.


    As soon as they got within 7 meters near me it started to vibrate. Fear crept into my mind as I saw the scene at shock.


    Soon it launched towards me, perplexed, I quickly shifted my hands to random direction instead of making a guard due to the sudden turn of events.


    I soon felt a heavy force on my chest that made me feel as if my ribs were creaking; another one flew past me and smashed into the bricks.


    There was a dent in the bricks as if a huge canon ball smashed into it. I would¡¯ve probably wondered how I hadn¡¯t died if not for my current situation.


    Quickly working up my brain I went in between those two. They soon recovered and went towards me.


    I ducked out of their way and they ended up smashing into each other and softly landed on my land. A few wounds appeared on them, but instead of the normal red they were violet in colour.


    I knew it would probably be impractical due to how hard they were but I went in for an elbow to its face while my face muscles tightened in ferocity. Due to some unknown reason their flesh was softer than that of a normal humans and I heard a squelching sound from it.


    Having confirmed that there defence was rather low I came up to the probability that they actually only hada hard carapace when they went for the kill.


    I quickly came back to my form and punched the other one too. Even after doing that I elbowed both of them while using my weight just to confirm they were dead.


    After a few seconds the door soon opened which I hadn¡¯t even realized that it was there.


    I sat down contemplating what was going on when a glass plate which was blue in colour appeared, the thing you would call a system message.
