《Trimentality [Hiatus]》 Lythwyn 1 Chapter 0 : Arugo is Shutting Down In a large cave with massive purple glowing crystals growing everywhere, their light emission brightening the areas they reside, the ground rumbles and a loud monsterous roar echoed out from deep inside. A hermit titan monster, a jewel like giant serpent slither rapidly across the ground with its spiky red crystal scales scratching the ground. The scarred ground erupted and a red wave of red gemstones shot up, trapping and piercing whatever was in its range. The solo hunter jumped in the air with his twisted sheperd like wooden staff with a dull white crystal growing inside the hook and directed his arms to the head of the serpent, shooting a powerful beam of light on the brows of the snakes'' forehead. Bits of the light was reflected, shattered and flew into different directions but it exploded one of the eyes of the snake, letting it hiss loudly in anger. The serpent coiled up and hid its head behind its body and whipped its tail around chaoticly in the area, breaking the stone spears hanging above. The hunter threw up his staff and held the end of the rod, hitting the falling stone spears directly to the serpent. The ferious flying stone cones shot in a flash with a blinding trail of light coating it, increasing its damage and power. The stone projectiles exploded on the serpent scales, the rapid and continuous blows on one spot of the serpent body broke through the hard scales and to the hot soft flesh of the monster. The eyes of the serpent widen in pain and shock and it jumped out of its position and charged at the hunter madly, ignoring all defense and going into assault. The crystal serpent opened its mouth widely and two large fangs shone brightly amongst the small jagged jewel teeth along side it. The hunter just stared at the outrage serpent in confusion, wondering why it react so realisticlly as it was just a programmed mob and activated two spells at once. The first one was a personal light dome made of dozens of hexagons and the second was a wide range light shield, anyone in its range would get two massive transparent light shields around them. Sadly this guy is a loner and had the three shields for himself. The fang of the serpent smashed towards him, the teeth crushing to pieces as it encountered the light barrier. The head of the serpent shot upwards in the momentum in sudden pain, but the hunter was swallon at the same time. The disappearance of the hunter made the serpent though he had died but a burning sensation rose up from its mouth, its body enlarging to the point its throat crushed the ceiling above. The serpent exploded from the inside out, a radius of light blinding the whole room as the guts and crystals blew all over the place. "I really want a meat shield sometime." The lightconductor cried as he was on his knees exhausted. The lightconductor is one of four magic classes in the game he was playing, but one of two support classes you could play as. One was the ranger and the other one was the lightconductor. Arugo, a MMORPG he first played 9 years ago and has forever since been addicted to the realistic massive fantasy world. Old and monstly outdated by all the other latest game in his era he thought this game was more fun then them. The group that made this game slowly but surely does update the game, but mostly its left alone as they had other more popular games to work on. With his nine years record on the game he has particpated in countless events and collected hundreds of priceless treasures. And the special authority he bought from the game creators he was able to own a house and his own private land in Arugo. Arugo, because of its history of being a old fashion rpg there was barely any restriction meaning he could change class, his appearance, even his gender and name if he wanted to. But of course its expensive and cost game currency.Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon. Of course, he hitted the level limit and currency limit. Level 5000, wars participated : 75, gold 1B, silver 1B, brozen 1B. And he fought this giant jewel serpent not for the bounty it had on its head but for a new crytal core for his staff. He went over to the head of the giant serpent and jumped on its massive size, plucking the red eye from its skull. He held the red orb in glee. His hand only covered the bottom half of the jewel serpent eye and it was the maximum that his staff could hold. He pulled back his hand and lifted his staff, punching the red orb through the long thin white crystal. He moved his hands out of the way and the thin crystal then grew over the red orb, diluting its colour into a more transparent tone. This was a rare merging type of staff he gained from a mob called the undying sourcerer king, which eventually died in his hands. "I guess using a supportive NPC during my journey is better then nothing." He teleported back to a place were he set up his hometown and appeared in his room he rented in the traven. He fell on his wooden stool and kicked off his boots, threw his staff on the bed and took of a black robe with a hood that left his right arm on the outside, revealing wraps below his plain shirt. He untied the rag around his mouth and breathe freely, the stuffiness in the rag while he was fighting was suffocating. But the toxic gas in the cave would''ve killed him eariler if he wasn''t wearing the special rag. His gentle long golden hair was let loose from its bound and he laid there with his back leaning against the wall peacefully, the perfect features of his soft slim face and darting royal green iris moved towards the window on the opposite wall. There was a loud commotion going on outside that disturbed his rest, making him grunt and turn his back to the window. As he was about to close his eyes a knock echoed in his room, banging the wooden door at the second furtherest wall from him. He groaned, even if there wasn''t a lot of players in the game the NPC''s really do love being livily everyday. Sometimes he forgets this is a game world. He hopped off the stool and floundered over his bed, straightening himself infront of the door before opening it. As he opened the door a punch landed on his rip, a young teenage girl with short orange hair and freckles jumped a bit from her spot in surprise. "Sorry! I ment to knock on the door." She gave a blushing shy smile. The traven was unnaturally quite as it also serves as a common resturant at the lower floor. So he looked across the hallway before turning back to the cute girl infront of him. "What''s up? Seems like there''s something going on outside that this place went empty." The girl nodded, pulling her hand off the man as she glazed at him in a daze. "Uh, there''s a public meeting for all hunters in the townsquare. You''re a hunter right? I think you need to go there as well." "I''ll check it out. Thanks." He closed the door behind him and unintentionally patted the girl on the head before racing down the stairs. The girl went bright faced, frozen on her spot as she watched him disappear and rubbed her own hair. "Your welcome." She muttered. The golden haired man jumped down the stairs and jogged pass the empty tables, waving at the woman cleaning them and the man behind the counter who looked similar to the girl upstairs. "Equip costume 1" He whispered. A coat of sparkling light washed over him and when he came out of the light he was wearing light armor made for a rogue class. His speed instantly picked up and he vanish from the building, appearing behind a crowd of people somewhere in the more wealthier place of the town. "And that''s why I told you to prepare!" A shout roared on a high wooden plateform in the mist of the crowd of armored people. Just about everyone here was a player, there were some NPC''s hidden in the crowd but they seem to not get what was going on. He looked around, wondering why everyone was heavily armored and tapped on a western style knight on his shoulder pad. "What''s going on?" He asked. The knight opened a screen infront of him and moved it to the lightconductor, the post board of Arugo was in the screen. "Seems like this game is going to shut down. But the creators are going release an apocalypseof maxed level monsters, appearently even a goblin will be a level 5000." The knight sighted and closed the tab. "I''m going to quit this game now." A person spoke beside the two. "Same here. It''s was cool when it lasted." "See ya people!" "Wanna play another game?" The crowd disperse quickly, their gaming spirit easily broken as the news of an impossible wave will be coming in a few days time. It was reasonable as not many were on the thousandth level, and some came here just to have fun, not to experience a slaughter. "You going to stay for the final wave?" The knight ask as he still stood there with his back turned on him. "Yeah, I practically invested 10 years of my life into this game so might as well go to the end." The golden haired man spoke sadly. "Shit, ten years? I''ve been playing for only 6. Want to party up when the wave come?" He turned around with a party invitation. "Sure. I''ve been wanting a partner." The name and level of the knight appeared on the invitation screen. ''Guardian Celeron Level 2410'' ''Celeron has sent you a party invitation'' ''Accept? Denie?'' He pressed accepted and both of their profiles came together in a box at the side of their sights.. Guardian Celeron (2410) LightConductor Lythwyn (5000) "Well I got to go now. See you later!" Celeron cheered before logging off. Lythwyn 2 Chapter 1 : The Dawn Apocalypse It''s been a week since the annoucement of the final wave and a majority of players have already quited the game in the last few days. The hundreds of players rapidly died down and only tens of us were left, the most faithful or most bloodthirsty players who awaited the apocalypse to come erupting out of the Queens'' cayon on the burning chaparral. I took my time organising myself in my virtual house, stacking and cleaning my trophies I won in the dragon tournament and PVP world tournament some years ago. I had quite the collection of them and they all ranged to sculptures of golden saws to a humaniod statue holding a orb in the air. "The last event huh? Looks like I''m finally going to use this." I pocket a small glass marble with a golden dragon in it, the orb glowed dimmly ever since I obtained this. I had a large platinum curved in retangle shield and my limited edition multiweapon residing within the grasp of my shield, a metal rod with a plasma ball hovering on the two ends. I was going all out today as I was also wearing my Sun god visor, cape and the Transphaser armor, increasing my resistence and affinity with light. The armor took on the same hue as the Sun God cape, making it pure white with golden plates, spikes and patterns. I stood up from the ground of golden and silver statues around me and stepped over them, walking over to a large vault at the other end of the room. The vault automatically opened and inside the room was a museum of strange objects and even cropses of some mobs hanged in a glass case with a plate under it, showing its name and discription. I browsed quickly through, already know what I''d equip for the event starting later today. I punched through a glass case with my gualet and ripped the human skeleton of the hook, my visor was sitting on my head so I smashed the skull on my forehead. The bone broke on impact and shattered in the air, but shot onto my skin and build up a white pigment on my skin with a pattern of the skeleton structure. I broke into another glass case, I didn''t bother removing them properly as this would be my last time in here anyways. There was aline of small colourful orbs safety tucked in the cusions of a purple wooden case. I took the nail size orbs from their holes and putted them in the gaps of my armor, the Transphaser armor happily swallowed them and I heard stone tabs inside my chestplate. I looked over more glass cases, reading the label and moving on as they were unsuitable or not mobile during battle. After my cursade through the vault I took a autocross bow with five barrel-clips of arrows. Two one-use dragon elmental scythes''. The Midnight wish and finally the space bag to carry those things. I walked out of the vault and looked at the shelf on the wall and remebered something. "That''s right. I forgot about this." I took of a cloth laying on the shelf and tied it around my mouth and nose. It was like the rag I had on when I fought the crystal serpent, but it was the strongest out of the immunity bands series. Making the wearer immune to all poison, gases, extreme temperature and even can work as an air tank under water. I don''t know how that can work but who cares? I''m not complaining about this. I didn''t bring my merging staff with me today, I would only use it if I was getting materials as it works as a space storage and is more fragile then everything I own, but I did take out the converted serpent eye and enchanted my multiweapon with it. ''Celeron is Online'' A small notification appeared at the top center of my screen as I walked out of the steel plated room and shutted the vault door behind me with a stomp on its surface. [Celeron] : You there? A text massage popped up just at the side of my view, opening the chatlog I had closed ever since this morning. [Lythwyn] : Of course. I''ll met you at the battle line. [Celeron] : K, my sister is also joining as well if you don''t mind. After a few seconds of his message another notification popped up. ''Asselyna joined the Party'' Guardian Celeron (2410) LightConductor Lythwyn (5000) Elementalist Asselyna (844) I untied a cloth from my shoulder and bounded my hair together with it, just making a simple tail over my shoulder. I jumped over the small wall of trophies and went out the doorway, traveling through the passage that goes around my house from within. This house was a strange one as its'' interior structure is different then normal houses. All the rooms would be at the side of the house and there would be a large room in the middle, almost like a dome with a cross-section. The vault was inside the dome like room in the middle of the house so I only had to walk straight out to go to the front door. Outside was in a forever pitch black state, no backround, no enviroment and no light except the ones in and hanged around my house. This game is extremely free and we could build our own house absolutely anywhere except in owned spaces or occupied spaces, various reasons for that but the main reason is to stop anyone building on hunting grounds and exploiting it by spawn killing and hogging the area. And the first one to do that was me, hehe. I did that for almost a year till it got leaked and spreaded across the web. It was hard for me to level up as my class focused on healing and buffing players, also my first spell was a healing spell so yeah, even a sharpen stick was better then this class at early levels. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. I don''t regret it or feel guilty, I gained hundreds of levels and money in this game, leveling up faster then any other classes out there within a day. I didn''t get banned, punished or warned, more of the opposite for finding a exploitable fault in this massive and loved game. I was allowed to keep whatever I earned during those months. My home now is literally in the underworld, the deeper and darker part of the underworld. I moved my house to the boarder between the void and the inferno realm as no mobs spawn here and it doesn''t appear in the maps, so this is pretty much a blind spot in the game. Nothing generates here and the only way to pass is to have a guider, something or someone that has survive here before which is a NPC you''d have to lucky find in either realms or be a high level LightConductor. I approached the green orb on a white concerte pillar as it glowed on the metal hooks underneath it and a screen appeared above it. ''HomeTown'' ''Map'' ''Stats Trainer'' I pressed on Stats Trainer and reseted it, using 100k Gold to do so and had all my Skill Points I gainted since level 1. Level : 5,000 Skill Points : 25,000 STR : 2,443 + 143 END : 4,198 + 356 DEX : 3,564 + 87 INT : 4,715 + 135 WIS : 5,347 + 287 CHA : 5,102 + 151 LUK : 353 + 42 I didn''t only train the LightConductor but also tried to master other classes as well, maxing out all other magic classes, nearly with two sword classes and gambled quite a bit I guess. Also explains why the fang of the jewel serpent broke so easily as its stats was under 3k. This isn''t going to be enough to face of a sea of god level monster in.. I switched on the menu infront of me and looked at the time ticking on the top right hand corner. Within this hour it looks like it''s going to start, I need to hurry. Level : 5,000 Skill Points : 0 STR : 10,443 + 143 END : 10,198 + 356 DEX : 3,564 + 87 INT : 10,715 + 135 WIS : 10,347 + 287 CHA : 5,102 +151 LUK : 353 + 42 The ground under me started rumbling and I heard loud roars echoing from the inferno realm above me. The monsters started their march to the gate of the upper world, the Queens'' cayon. "Equip LightLord." It was the Lord gamepass I bought from the game, but you''d only be able to unlock a type of lord matching ones'' affinity. Two rings of light started generating behind my back, the wide halo angled downwards just an arm away from me. Two more halos generated just above the back of my hands. My status increased again with another thousand to each of them and I started to emit a faint golden light around me, brighting the area I was on. "I wonder what Celeron looks like now?" The rings of light finished generating, one of the giant ring behind was directly above another light ring, spinning anti-clockwise as the bottom was spinning the opposite way with white runes fused on it. I teleported back to my hometown and appeared above the town square, hovering as I saw other heavily equipped players walking towards the gate like a parade, their imitating, strange and powerful appearances catching the NPC''s attention. I spotted a Dragonslayer, a wizardwith dozens of heavy big books floating besides him, warriors with large weapons riding on animals and some with their pets behind them, elemental or a miniature version of a ledgendary creature. But the one that caught my eye where the two other lords here, one that had two black rings and dressed as a necromancer with a cloak of bones holding a twist staff with more but smaller bones and skulls around it. The other was lightly armored, a dark purple cresent chest plate, shoulderpads and a plate on his lower legs all with brighter purple gems in it. The Soul Rouge had a violet ring above his hooded head. Seems like I''ve caught the attention of the NPC''s. Ahh.. I think I can see a few bowing down to me. When my feet finally generated I dropped down from the sky, landing heavily on the uplifted circular plateform under me. I trotted down the stairs and trailed behind the parade of strange heroes that stands out so much in this plain town. I mean look at that necromancer, his shadow radius is drowning everyone around him, making them look gloomy. As I walk on the main road, passing the tall and wide houses a voice called out beside me. "Lythwyn!" A small figure came pushing through the crowd of awe NPC''s, her orange hair swayed around her babyface as she ran. Now that I think about it I still don''t know her name, the girl who works in the traven I usually stay in. I stopped in my tracks and waved to her, my visor was still up so I guess I shouldn''t be surprise she reconised me in something I''ve never worn all together. "Lythwyn." She breathed out as she slowed down and came into a reasonable distance to have a conversation. "What''s happening? Why are you so heavily armored? Where are you going?" She let out flushed and confused with my appearance and the players actions. I looked towards to where the towns'' gate was, over in the distance from the gate was the large uplifted canyons, the gap between the broken wall was lighten up by hellfire climbing it, slowly reaching the top as it formed a portal. "Does it have to do something with the earth shaking before?" She asked nervously. "Yep, seems like the ''Gods'' are wanting to end this world. Us hunters are just going to try our best as always." To the NPC''s, the gods are more like an evil figure that always release monsters apon them. She stood in silence, lowering her head and finally replied. "Lythwyn.. If this is the end then please don''t go... I- I wan-" "Move out of the way already!" A paladin smashed into us, throwning the girl into the crowd like an object and just brushed me harshly. The earth shook again and a crimson light shot to the sky, changing the ambient of the world into a blood like colour. The portal in the large gap was completed and a inferno twister exploded within the large outline of the flaming retangle. Stay behind and talk to a program that I will never see again or go face the final wave with Celeron and his sister? Was on my mind as the roars of the titans echoed behind the fire twister. I tilt my head in an apologetic way to where the girl was flung and tapped my chestplate, a coloured marble I put in eariler dropped out from the gap and fell on my palm. "I''m sorry but, I really have to go now." I pulled down my visor to my eyes and crushed the marble, making me vapourised into golden sand. I disperse fast to the canyon, going over the charging players spreading out of the gate and raced fast past the mounted warriors on the field. The monsters have already ran out of the flaming twister covered in a coat of flames, buffing their stats and making them mad with bloodthirst. Their eyes, bloodshotted and mouth drooling as they ran to the town with their weapons or tails in the air. I sailed to the clouds, stopping just on the line of the battlefield. After calculating where I''d drop, finding a line of players on the line as well while they waited for the monsters to touch the field from the desert biome I materialized back into my normal form. I was pretty damn heavy and zipped down to the ground within a few sort seconds, the air ripping under my feet with a loud screech that caught everyones'' attention below and made way in panic. The monsters were in my range and in my view so I shot an arrow towards the army of monsters before I felt the impact under my boots, the ground breaking upwards with the dirt exploding into a wave on the bystanders. "Nice to see you Celeron. A DeathKnight huh?" I greeted at the surprised player holding onto his black skull design helment and a long, wide deathly sword in the other. There was a girl beside him with long purple silky hair and a boulder fl- The boulder bursted on my cheek, dazing me for a sort moment and I heard a quite ''oops'' behind my eyelids. Luckily I putted on my visor before coming, that would''ve really hurt if I didn''t had it down. "Nice to see you too Lyth, and a angel?" He greeted back. "LightLord." I corrected. Turning around and found a man hovering infront of the line of players with his arms up, indicating the incomers to stop or slow down. "Hm? Isn''t that guy from the meeting last week?" A voice came from behind the line as he was slowing down. "Yeah, he thinks he''s leader of all of us and is going to do the charging signal." A man besides him answered. "Just ignor him, we''re just here because it''s easier to fight on the field instead of the desert." Another one joined in from the other side of the line. I looked over the small company of players and noticed Asselyna was the only girl here. Standing protectively beside her brother. She looks younger then Celeron but.. "Is she your older sister?" I asked. "How did you know?" "Because that''s what my brother is like around our sister." It was pretty obivous too, she had the maturity kind of look and aura emitting from her. Lythwyn 3 Chapter 2 : The Dawn apocalypse The monsters finally reached the massive field and the chaotic players broke formation, swearing at us and laughting as they wanted the first blood. The player who thinks he''s the commander just sighted and called up all range fighters to shoot. "Archers! Far ranged mages! Fire!" He shouted. "But what if we shot those maniacs?" A ranger asked. "Who cares?! Just shoot! If they die then they die, none of us is going to get banned since this is our last moment!" He shouted angerily back. There was a few shrugged shoulders but I just went wild, crushing the trigger of my autocross bow madly on my spot first. My loud rucks made everyone focus on me and the shooting unit started to fire madly as well, some intentionally shot their own comrades running on the field, carefully trying to get a one shot kill or a head shot so their actions remained unnotice except for other rangers. I think I killed two players, the accuracy on this isn''t bad nor good but it does sometime shoot an arrow way off course. When we all had to reload or wait for the mages to charge their spells the wanna-be leader cheered forward, roaring as he was overrunned by mounters. The shooting unit too ran, flew or zoomed towards the monsters, leaving me alone with my party? "Damn it, I need to go Lyth. I''ll be back sis." Celeron sadly said and logged off. I glanced at her but she didn''t charge along, just standing there as she watched the first clash in the distance. "You aren''t going?" She asked as she noticed I was still here. "Look who''s talking, you''re still under the 1k barrier so you can''t shoot that far. Aren''t you suppose to be going?" I unclipped the barrel and locked another one under the gun. Pulling back a lever to secure the connection. As I aimed I noticed the angle of the string didn''t follow in with the iron sights. So that''s why it felt different. I moved the angle to where it was suppose to be and pressed the trigger again, bullying a cyclops by shotting at its eye, giving it no break to let its arm down from its head. "I''ll just wait for Sc- Celeron to come." She spoke behind me as she erected a stump of smooth compacted dirt. The beams of arrows I shot werecovered in fiery light, the ring above my hand expanded and retracted rapidly as it enchanted my attacks. I stood there for at least two minutes, non-stop shooting except when I need to reload and the monsters kept coming and coming, greatly flooding my sight away from the players. "Think they''re all dead?" I questioned as I threw away my gun on top of the five empty arrow clips and pulled out the two elemental scythe from the bag. "No, I saw someone still fighting in there." She muttered boredly on her seat, impatiently waiting for Celeron. Must be the two lords still fighting. "Well, I''m going in now. I can make a more exciting show then those noobs." I grabbed the bag from the ground and stuffedthe two handles of it in my jaw, holding the two scythe in both hands. She didn''t reply but watched me go off to the distance. I swirled the red scythe in my right hand and the blue scythe in my left hand, they were both indentical but just in different colour and elements. I really wanted to try this out ever since I got these but after seeing it''s a one use type I''ve kept it locked for 3 years. I leaped into a jog, the bag bouncing solidly in my jaw and saw a giant skeletal arm erupting from the ground in the sea of monsters and swepted down, clawing at the titans around it before collapsing into ashes. Necromancer confrimed, but still nothing about the others. I was a few yard away from them now, nearing them more and more as their back were on me and focus on someone I couldn''t see. It wasn''t till I got closer I saw the soul rouge running over the small monsters and on the legs of titans'' slashing everywhere with his purple diamond transparent blade that was part of the rings hovering on his hands. "Wait? You could do that with these?" I looked at my ring and tried whatever I could do while I was running. Imaging blades, closing in my fingers tightly, even reciting whatever when I was a grimoire user. "Guess it only works for his class." As I said that a orcish axe ripped through the rouge leg, tripping him down and shredded by smaller mobs like the blood frenzy goblins and demon-hogs. I jumped on a back of a giant wolf like creature and ran along its spine, leaping onto another monsters'' back, traveling deeper in the horde. After ten or so creatures I ran across I spotted a zombie eating the rogues'' cropse and skydived down, my arms above my head as I charged to swing down. By instinct the zombie looked upwards, the only monster that noticed me since I was running along the seemingly numb mobs. This novel is published on a different platform. Support the original author by finding the official source. He groaned at me and stood up from his spot but I already decended apon him, my scythes'' tore his arms and planted onto the bloody ground. A shockwave punched my face and rippled across the area, the scythes'' inploded and twisted as it soaked deep into the dirt. It was only a second till the area of the earth I and the horde of monsters was on rumbled and disconnected from the world, spinning on its spot with red and blue gem like shard coming out of the ground in a flash. It towered everything and digged through anything that went in its path as it grew upwards. The ground kept cracking into more empty rivers, rapidly growing gem shards came in a spiral from the outside of the spinning terrian and inwards, twisting above me and weaved over each other, shooting down at the monsters around me. The stronger monsters that were pierced cried in painless wrath, struggling out of the shards by climbing to the top if it digged through their abdomen, other ones ripped their limbs off from their torso if it was pierced. The weaker and smaller ones died instantly, their bodies laid in pieces around what killed them or hanging on the tip with their body dangling down. The earth in the area slowed down in its rotation and the world around me stopped becoming blurry. I stood up from my spot and took a good look at the pattern the gem shards made over me, a beautiful orchard in this bloody field filled with cropses of monsters. It was dripping black blood on its blue and red structure making it look haunted. I dropped the bag from my mouth and caught it in the air, but as I was about to turn around a massive hammer came smashing on my back, breaking through the wire-framed dome and raming me through the other side. I flew into the direction to the desert and saw a endless wave of monsters trampling forward to the field, even more fierous and powerful looking then this one. My head came in contact with the ground and I rolled violently across the ground, holding onto the bag with a steel grip. After a moment of rolling I stood back and checked my bag. "What do I have next in my bag?" I opened it and search through it, but frowned. "Only Midnight wish left and the four sand marbles in my armor. Tsk." I shut the bag and unhooked the shield from my back with the multiweapon. A steel blade formed from the plasma ball on the top and a spiked out open cage was formed at the bottom, the plasma ball at the bottom didn''t disappear like the top but changed into the white serpent eye and sat in the topless cage. I heard a explosion at my side and something hitted my head. I looked down and saw a yapping skull bitting feriously on my ankle with its sharp fangs. I turn to the origin of the sound and saw the necromancer in a mess, his robe ripped and is not a he but a she? Her long blue hair was a bit burnt and uneven. Her robe was in tatters on her shoulders and a silver armor gleamed underneath, but with dents and cracked plates. Her staff was all but a long bone from a dead creature, fresh as there was still dripping flesh on it. "Guess guys ain''t the only crazy ones here." I muttered as I turn to wait for the next wave to come. There was aboslutely noone left except me and her in this field, standing on whatever we seem easy to balance on. Oh yeah, the hammer from eariler. I turned around and saw a hairy beast standing with a stone hammer in its grasp, but there was a large white spike through its heart. Bone girl must''ve gotten it. "You''re still alive?" Her voiced huffed out, walking over to me as she used the bone for support. "I thought you died by that attack. You went flying like nothing." I gave her a glance and laughted a bit. "Least I look fine. I barely got touched." She screwed up her lip a bit in a grumpy way as she studied my appearance and compared it to hers. "What level are you?" She asked. "Maxed out all magic based classes in this game, almost two sword base, on a good enough progress with archer and rouge." "You''re lying right?" She asked in disbelieve. "Almost 10 years I''ve played this game, how could I lie about that? What about you?" "Ah. Sure.. Level 3435. My second year on this game. I got a few progress on other classes but this one is my main." She turn towards the desert as well. "Do you know that girl at the back?" She asked, not bothering to turn around. "I know, but not really well, just a sibling of the guy that I partied with. But he''s not here so it''s just me and her in the party." I pulled up my halberd staff and extended the blade and thinned it more as I got a better look at the oversized monsters coming, it''s going to be difficult dodging those hammers. "You need some healing?" I asked as I modified my blade. "Are you a idiot? Of course I do." "Don''t you have a potion or something then? Or did you just rushed out here with only that?" I didn''t really feel like helping someone right now but if I do then I don''t see why. "Used it all. Are you going to heal me already? They''re almost here." She pointed the bone to the impossible to ignor sea of monsters roaring just right infront of us. I swirled my weapon around and aimed the orb to her, blasting a light bomb on her. The gashes and scratches on her arms and face disappeared and her damage and uneven hair repaired itself, growing back to its original form and giving it back the silky gloss all players'' hairs have. I activated the wide range double shield as well, giving us two giant transparent walls infront of us and behind us. "Thanks. What do you have in that bag anyways?" It was hooked where my shield use to be, on my back. "I really don''t know. It''s just a mechanical blue eyed owl that doesn''t work. I thought of throwing it at a monster just for kicks but it seems like that''s not going to work well." "Is it a owl shaped bomb?" "I hope so, otherwise I killed all those fairies for nothing." "Eh?" "I lost all reasoning during my fifth year playing this game, but when I heard there was something powerful and forbidden kepted by the fairies I just wanted to see what it was." I explained, shrugging my shoulders as if it wasn''t a big deal. "Is it the Midnight wish?" "And you know how?" "Because I''ve been searching for that. Pass it over and I''ll show you how it works." She led out her hand towards me. It has no value to me so I gave it without thought and watch her fiddle with it, ignoring the monsters 50 or so meters away. A tweeking sound came from the owl and its wings flapped, twisting its head mechanically as it moved. "Guess what?" She said in a playful tone. "What?" "It''s an owl bomb. And I can''t turn off the fuse." She threw it at me and ran away, running towards the monsters as if it was better then staying here. Are you kidding me? I looked at the eyes of the owl and saw the light was nearly at the point of fading away. "Oh-" A nova exploded on my spot and sucked everything within a large radius, creating a large deep crator on one spot and kept building up, suddenly inploding and blasted into a thin white blue wave across the field that shot the necromancer off the ground and over the sea of monsters and gently touched Asselyna cheek from afar. I had to use my sand marble again, escaping it by a hairs'' strand on my fingers. I couldn''t leave this battle field but materialising back would be a waste of the marble, but knowing these monsters would ignor me in this form and charge at the town far behind me forced me to materialise infront of the abyss created by the owl. I looked at my surroundings and saw all the gem shards broken and shattered, the titans that were trying to get out was even in a more worser condition as the shards broke within them and destoryed a lot of things in them, bones, organs, they just couldn''t move properly and their health bars were dropping rapidly. Lythwyn 4 Chapter 3 : The Dawn apocalypse The war raged on, three players left in game. Two fighting in the endless apocalypse of maxed buffed monsters and one just sitting at the far end of the field, waiting for her brother to come back. Occasionally the earth shook, the titans stomps breaking the ground and the fighters immense power twisted the reality in the game. Bones of monsters were ripped apart, exploding from the inside out or was clawing out of their own bodies. The skies ripped apart and a huge beam of dense light crashed down, tearing the earth as well as the monsters with it. But even after all that the skies still stayed in a crimson shade, the field became more unstable as it broke apart more, and the number of monsters whenever dropped would be replaced by another. Then, in the hours of the end a trumpet came from behind them all, the knights of the nation and from far off land came charging in the eruptive ground in 3 armies merged. The five hundred and fifty thousand soldiers came running on their legs or on backs of warhorses, fearlessly catching the massive giant monsters attention. One leigon for one monster, ten thousand men in one leigon, five hundred and fifty leigon all in total. The battle got more bloodier as more heroes fell in the apocalypse . Spears flew over the titans with spiked chains, arrows of fire and poison, nets and flying ramming poles came from the armies. It didn''t take long till catapults were unleased and hailed giants metal balls on the monsters. And they fought on, all together, the LightLord above them all as he dived and slashed through the bodies of diamond-like serpents, savage dragons, and even colossal elementals with a halberd of light. The spikes of my armor is slightly growing a bit longer, but it won''t be able to do anything against 20F monsters except get me stuck on them. I''ve been hitted a few times by arrows and spits of toxic creatures but barely it did anything except catch my attention. I jumped up from the ground, flying to the air as my cape fluttered behind me. I could see the fire twister changing, turning into a darker hue and the monsters coming out are getting more related to darker elements. For a while now it''s been mostly undeads, the colossals are more like giant living shadows walking the earth and the giants are more fleshless. The eyes of the titans are dull white with no pupils. The halos on on me glowed brightly and expanded as I charge up a massive ball of light above my head, almost becoming a second sun in this world. As I slowly fell down a unit of liches came flying towards me behind green reptail-like witches, standing at the back of their twisted brooms with a grim dreaky black ball on their staves. A arrow shot pass me and pierced a witch leg, causing her to scream and suddenly change direction of her flight. The lich at the back screamed in anger and his spell went out of its grasps, the death ball shooting upwards to nowhere as it fell to the crowded field. More arrows came and interrupted the witches and liches that tried to stop my spell from below. It was only a few seconds later that I was able to throw down the sun to the more populated areas of monsters and a white flash covered the land. The air crashed into everyone that weren''t a evil mob, but the monsters, the light shredded them bit by bit in a alarming rate and tore their bones or shells to the direction of the wind. The light blinded everyones'' eyes except for mine, but even if a majority of mobs died from that sun attack a more hideous existence came from the deathly black twister from afar. It came alone in a normal size of a human, or say it was a human, a hero from a past. Long black ragged robes stripped with murky red clothes on it. A tall almost cone hat and a Ankhs. It was a fallen saint. As it walked the desert behind it shook, lifting into the air and became alive, roaring as it stared at the armies of humans. Scorpians bursted though the sand colossals with a black, red, and pale sand yellow shells. Large and unnaturally fast they came charging past the walking saint and jumped onto the field within the minute they came. The light vanish and mayhem started again, another foreign creature the knights have to face and their range weapons were too slow or could not penerate their armor. The nets flew to them and their pinchers cutted through them effortlessly, dodged the flying metal balls, the giant shooting stakes from mechanical scorpian grazed off their shells. Their efforts dropped fast and the front line was invaded. As I was about to go back and help bring down the new invaders I felt something grab whole around my chest. I turned around and saw it was a long hand of darkness coming from the Ankhs of the fallen saint and he was glaring at me, his dull eyes were narrowed with envy and his face crunched up in wrath. The shadow grip also held the two golden shields hovering around me and crushed it effortlessly, then ripped me forward to the fallen saint and he pulled out a ruined excalibur from his back and readied himself to slash at me. My arms were closed in to my chest and I couldn''t free myself from the grip, I couldn''t cast a spell in this position too so I had to use another sand marble before I came in range of the fallen. I was in the desert when I materialised, high on top of a dune and far from the battlefield where I wanted to be. This is a bad place to be if this mob could control sand. I heard a loud roar behind me and a sand golem, hidden in the yellow wave came crushing down apon me, it arms throwing down to me as it collapse. I jumped out of the way and the fallen was at my opposite side, its vampire like teeth hidden by its rotting appearance opened wide in his frown as he flew to me with the excaliber by his side. The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. The crashing sand in the air deafen my ears and blinded my left hand side but I thrusted my shield forward and hid behind it with my halberd behind me, looking at the sand to expect a shadow coming towards me. I felt impact on my shield but there was no shadow, but as I fell back down his sword nicked my shoulderpad behind my shield and scratched the left side of my back. "Argh! Damn it. I hate mobs like you." I cursed as I saw his sword had a corroding effect and black smog smoked from his cut on my armor. I detatched my infected plates of, taking of the shoulderpad and the wide plate that protected my back. I glance at the golden white metal crunching up into a ball, shrinking and screeching as the cut on it expanded and black aura swallowing it whole. I tilted my shield if it was okay, it was but the effect of the slash was slower on the shield, the metal was silently opening apart from the cut and sizzled softly. Ths shield, this shield took me a long time to obtain and I have no means of getting something like this again unlike the transphaser armor that would regenerate itself in a few moments from now. I was a bit sadden that something like this shield was easily ruined but the shifting sand under me took my attention. The sand broke open in a line, opening up like a sliding door and revealed where my home resides in, the void. My house wasn''t in view since it''s directly under the Queens'' Cayon but falling from this height would kill anyone. I ran from my spot and the fallen came flying towards me, defying gravity and was literally was running on the air like if there was a flat surface under him and came slashing at me so fast that his sword left no trail behind it. I threw my shield at him and watched him cut it into cubiods and ran through it, still his shoulders looks like a blurry stick as his arms moved faster then my eye could track. My back hitted something and stopped me from staying out of the fallens'' attack, it was a giant wall of sand that appeared behind me and I slid down to the abyss. The fallen dropped down as well, thrusting his sword towards me and let the momentum of the thrust guide him down. I kicked at the air and hopped forward, a light rippling under my hops as I too defyed gravity. The fallen shot his leg infront of him and slammed the air and came running after me, swaying the Ankhs in the air and sand around us followed its motion. The walls of sand disconnected and rotated, imediately creating a circular wall around us with a roaring sound of the unnatural phenomena. I span around and whacked my stave across the air but the fallen ducked down and punched his Ankhs to my face, instantly using magic and blasted a invisible force that threw my head on to the ripping wall. My head hitted hard on the solid spinning wall and flung me to the direction of the rotation, dragging the rest of my body in a ride before I was sent back into the center of the cyclone. "What a quick motherfucker!" I pushed my arms infront of me and jumped back on my feet on the air, slashing upwards with my halberd and span the head of the stave to the fallen, using quick magic as well. The fallen side stepped my slash but the invisible force got a hit on his arm, lifting his left arm lifelessly and threw him away from me. The quick force wasn''t as strong as his but it was powerful enough to send him in the air for a few seconds before gazing his back on the wall. I bet his stats are way over 10k, I can barely attack him even if he''s not using the sand to distract me. The fallen laughted from afar, making me confused but when I looked down I saw a red flame erupting from the void. He''s dragging in the inferno realm as well?! The massive flame shot upwards inbetween us and burned the red dyed sky, brightening it more but rose the temperature of the land. The pillar of flame was roasting my front but my resistence keep me stabled and slighty cool besides the inferno. But the surrounding sand quickly became transparent and merged into each other, creating thick glass around us. A loud roar came from the inferno that shook the earth, it was the demons of the Brink wakening from their slumber. The flame pillar lashed out chaoticly and I saw the fallen running around it, still with his large frown from before. I charged towards him too, this wasn''t the time to be running around while demons were soon to come. I sliced down diagonally and span with the motion, cutting again on the same spot before jumping back and thrusting forward, using my long range as a advantage. We fought more intensely without using magic as that''ll delay our fight, but he would occasionally use the force to drag in flying glass pieces to my back or eye as I kept my distance. He was extremely quick for his spieces, but that was there all to it, as we kept fighting on his flaw was opening wider and wider. His flesh could not resist the heat of the flame and cooked, becoming harder as his bones were drying out. And in one moment something happened, it was quick but I saw that fault in his wrist. "Arthritis?" I questioned. His sword was getting wobbly and unstable with every slash, twisting crookily as the sword was swept off with the air resistence. I changed my blade on my staff for a wide block, making it a large hammer and slammed at the fallen as he struggled to hold his sword properly. The bash ripped his shoulder off and he screamed, waving his staff at me to use force to throw me away. Force was a quick way of using magic without charging or reciting, but there was only limited use for it and it could be blocked by another equally strong force. I quickly changed the hammer into another stave head, the metal twisting into a cage with a plasma ball sitting on it. Would''ve been nice if I had both of the serpent eye back then. I held my staff with both hand and turn it horizontally so it was easier to use the force. His power in his was definity hard to push back, but the two orbs on my stave and the boost of the halos enchanted my attack and threw him into the pillar of flame. The screech of the fallen haunted my ears but I stood there watching him disappear in the flame, thursting his stave forward for his last curse before dying. "Gaush si''a li!" A gloomy hollow green skull came shooting out of the pillar in a flash, faster then I could react and the skull caught my shoulder and ripped me to the spinning glass wall at the back. The skull vanished and the glass broke on my side, piercing deeply into my unguarded shoulder and shredding my immunity cloth a bit. The damage wasn''t that terribly bad but the large shard in my shoulder disabled my left arm. "AH fuck that hurts!" I dropped back down with a light circle under my feet and held onto my bleeding shoulder. "Did the creators raise up the sensitivity in this game? Holy fuck this really~ really hurts!" The tornado didn''t die down after the notification of the fallen saint I fought finally died in the fire, but I was greeted with something else. A large hand of magma with black crust exploded out of the pillar, its fingers larger then me and its arm bursted through the glass wall. I sighted, exhausted and injured so I checked my stats, amazingly it shows I am still healthly and can go for another round after fighting few dozens of waves of monsters and a broken boss mob. A light ball wouldn''t do much against a demon like this, a light ball against a god like magma titan that could easily touch the clouds if wanted to. "This seriously makes me wonder how I was able to make my house in the void without encountering something like this." I muttered as I watch a giant head forming from the hellflame pillar. I didn''t want to go on anymore and took out the last thing I have in my pocket. The golden dragon within a small glass ball. I analyized it on my palm but still there was rows of ''??'' on my screen. "The last strange object I had was a nova bomb, might as well call this a bomb too." I threw it to the generating demon. The glass ball flew in the air and passed the flames harmlessly and tapped the skull of the demons'' head before bouncing into the void below. I watch it fall, and fall till it vanish in the darkness and looked back up, meeting a giant red slit iris as I looked up. I clicked my tounge and jumped backwards, doing a forced instant charge and shot a beam of light directly on the eye mercilessly. My mana exploded through the orbs and sparked out feriously from the unexpect command, the light beam wasn''t converted light but my mana in pure form and shone even brighter then natural light. The light wasn''t the normal yellow or golden but just plain white that even I had to narrow my eyes behind the staff. But all I heard was the miserable roar and white covered my sight. The air tingled my skin underneath my armor and my left arm became numb from the violent treatment it was getting. A notification popped up and my mana bar appeared, draining fast from its 100k+ number in 10ks'' each second. But another screen was hidden under it and was glowing bright. ''Fortune Dragon'' ''Activate?'' That orb from before? I didn''t hesitate and pressed the activation. Lythwyn 5 Chapter 4 : The End I stood in a white space, endless as far as I could see. But nothing underneath me for a floor nor the yellow circle that materialises for me when I want to run on the air. Where am I? My left arm was soaked in blood, sliding down in streams around the golden spikes of my white armor that effortlessly merged with the backround. Don''t tell me the Fortune dragon is.. I turned around but saw nothing behind me except the same endless white space. Then why am I here? I thought and turned back around. But as I did I saw the tall eastern style dragon stood towering me with reflective golden scales and long whiskers above its long white beard. Its'' eyes wise but narrowing as it looked and judged me in silence. The flickers and whips of the flame aura of my Sun God visor and cape occupied the atmosphere, making feel like a faud for wearing such equipment as I stared at a much more holier existence. "A Sage of Destiny, both a warrior of the Sun God and an Archmage of pure Light. I''ve seen your struggle and cunning exploits of the past, but also your great battles and wars as you grew more powerful." The dragon hummed out. Ah shit you know about that? Was what I had on my mind as I nervously stood on one spot, hoping I won''t be tourtured or something with the sudden high sensitivity of the game. "And through effort of oneself, no assistance of anyone or help of some strange magic. You powered through with light and obtained my sealstone in the void." So equipment didn''t count as assistence? I''m just runing this atmosphere with inner thoughts but I can''t help it. "I of countless years am the only living Fortune existence that will only set you on a path that will be beyond your speciality, but the reward is great." A bit late isn''t it? The game is shutting down soon. "But because you are more powerful then expectations, all the paths available will not be suitable for you. Thus travel the world and find the DreamWell, I will grant you one thing you desire in this moment for your journey." The dragon finished. I regret not using this a few years eariler, if I did I would''ve wished to become overlord and by then I would''ve become so op even demons fear me. I stood there with my head down hesitating, thinking of what to do in the last moments of this game. To wish to destory the world I love so much myself or wish for something I could do before it disappears? The thought of choosing to live here was way off my mind, something like that isn''t logically possible. I picked off the small shards of glass from my shoulder and flicked them far away, watching them fall down through nothing and took my visor off. "Fortune Dragon." I called out as I still looked down. "If a world you loved so much and practically spent your whole life on it, disappears no matter what happens. What would you wish for in the last few moments?" In the silence I spoke again to put the dragon in the same situation I was in. "And it could never come back with just a wish." "Is that why you''re hesitating?" The dragon ask, floating gently backwards. I nodded, looking back up just to see the dragon fading into the white backround. "Then you would wish for recreation would you not?" The dragon whispered. I lifted my arm in fustration as the dragon manage to bypass my restriction. T-That!.. That doesn''t work that way in my world. I thought loudly but unable to speak it out. I fell to my knees as I witness the disappearance of the dragon. It was probably a sign that the game was close to its end and I would be forcefully logged off. I punched the ground in anger, my stave in its regular form dropping down beside me as I cried from the inside of my aching heart. "GOD DAMN IT! IT JUST DOESN''T WORK THAT WAY YOU STUPID DRAGON!" a warm tear dropped down from my eye and fell through the nothingness I was on.The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. When I was thirteen I was introduced to this game by a friend who loves games and wanted to be a programme developer when he grew up. I am nearly 24, just in another month I would have my birthday and I would''ve celebrated in this world. In the other world I''m a loser, a loner in his own apartment. Here I am a hero, a being of untouchable power that wields the light of gods, a person who talked to them face to face and defeated unimaginable evil for the good. Here I''m wealthy beyond nature, I could buy this whole world with my gold and silver, I could conqure it if I wanted to if I unleash the power of whatever is in my vault. In other words, I don''t need any wish for my journey, I could do anything because I worked so hard when I was a noob. I even thought so far as dying in this world for real, letting the NPC''s cherish me in a stone tomb with my history written in books and told through mouths. "I wish I could live in this world till the end of my days. I''m a no-lifer in my world." I whispered, my eyes blurred with water and red with my blood spreading behind it. Saddness was rare for me to feel, I could endure a whole lot of things but this, this took a hard hit on me. I could feel it, the exhaustion finally taking over me and drowning me in white. I''m being forcefully logged out. My eyelids heavily closed on me and my arms and legs gave out, dropping me into the nothingness my tears fell to. My body was getting tickled by the air as a sad melody played in my head, unnoticeably I was losing concious. I laid there on my bed under my blankets, the warm tears in my hair and ears, rolled down from my eyes when I was in V.R. I slowly took of the mechanical visor off my face and wipped my eyes, taking a look at reality infront of me. I was in my apartment with its plain slightly yellow white walls and cold temperature. I knew my wish would never come true and that left me souless on my bed, passionless and hungerless as if I was dead. "Should I commit suicide?" I muttered. I got a long strong cord under my bed and my room is pretty high up, it won''t be that difficult to set it up and jump out the window right now. My job, I''m replacable and it isn''t hard to get the requirements to to be hired. My family, they''re living their own life and ignoring their gothic-like brother/ son. My firends, I lost connection to them years ago. And I''m not in debt so I''m pretty much free of everything. I threw the blanket off me and sat up, looking outside the window and noticed it was night time. This makes this easier, I don''t like to hear any screaming or want anyone watch me dangling from my window. I quietly shifted my legs off the mattress and planted them on the ground, pushing forward and dropping down the the ground. I pulled out the yellow cord from the darkness and wrapped it around my neck, looping the plug in aring before wrapping more wire around my neck. My body would naturally denie me when it comes to death so I would need to tie up my hands as well. I thought as I dragged my light steel-framed bed behind me. After thinking awhile besides the cold window I decided flipping the mattress off the steel-frame and tied the cord on the support beams that would''ve held the mattress not to long ago. It didn''t really long stable but least I''d die from height or from suffocation. I unlocked the window and slid the glass panel to the side, inviting the freezing ice wind and the noisy sound of speeding cars in the distance in my room. "Maybe a quick jab and then a straight out jump?" I muttered as I pulled the construction of light metal behind me to the kitchen area. I opened a drawer under the sink and pulled out a small craving knife, I moved to the cutting board next to the microwave and aimed the knife above my right hand on the wooden board. Quick jab so it''ll be easier in the jump. I closed my eyes and gently touched the cold blade inbetween the two visible bones in my hand and imagined that I was just drawing on myself with a pen. "Just don''t let the body know what''s actually happening, done this tons of times." And with that my fist clutched the handle harder and stabbed down, my whole arm falling on it like if I was pressing on a pencil to hard. My eyes instantly shot open and I wanted to scream but I restrained the muscles of my jaw and throat, making me do more of a choking sound and threw the knife out of sight. I dashed out to the window, ignoring the flipped over construct and did what I said I would do. Jump. My body was so focused on my hand that when the knot around my neck crushed my neck, it went into a state of shock and immobilization. My body shaking uncontrollabily on the thick cord as it tried to fuction properly. I couldn''t remember after that, instinct took over and my dominate hand, the hand I stabbed eariler tried to climb back up but the blood and hole in it made it pretty much the weakest limb I had right now. Inside me felt like it was getting crush, it was like getting into something much smaller then yourself, like being forcefully put into a steel chest and locked in it. Heat over whelmed my nerves but also coldness, the parts further from my head was being soaked in the dropping temperature while the closer ones to my head was overflowing with heat. The pain was getting indescribable and it was hard to remain with my domestic thinking, just do and don''t was left and it was the Do''s that was really cutting the control over my body. All what was left was the feeling of wanting to explode, my eyes were getting pushed from the inside out and ears felt like they were clogged. My body was blinding itself from the world and only looked towards myself, the sound, the wind, all disappeared without me noticing and the night was effectively encouraging the confusing running in my head. The thought of the darkness and light never occured, it was just there like how the sky is just there. Things just became less fimilar and important, I was hanging but I didn''t realise it anymore, my body only felt that being here was stopping the flow inside my body and wanted to move out from the air. It was no ''more'' my, it was just ''the''. The throat is choking, the eyes lost its position in the skull. The person here is dying. I could no longer think of myself and finally but still unknowingly died without so much as a breath. Scarifice for Change Chapter 5 : Scarifice for Change Bloodshot eyes, the veins in them bursting due to pressure as the blood flows under my lens, painting them bright red. My skin wriggling, the vessels, organs, even my bones are twisting and turning, changing and moving to another place. I can feel the electricial charge and my heart pumping through my body, making me a little bit unstable as I am in denial. My siliva drips from my slimy jaw, partly merged with a crimson hue. I think I need a doctor soon, heh. The more I try to change the less I can breath, it really hurts using my lungs in this type of situation when you''re trying to win the fight. My senses are coming back into my finger tips so I could feel again, but the more I feel the more I hate myself. I suddenly felt a fault within my transformation. And I stared at the man in the light infront of me, staring down with his holy golden sword soaked in my blood. Not a scratch on him as he holds the child in his arm, my child I''ve earned. It''s not worth it, it''s not working... Why do you have to be picture perfect? But as I stare at him I know he''s afraid, he doesn''t want to convade so he keeps trying to win. The rune cirlce made of chalk is twisting rapidly, the rings of my name is blurring on the black wall as the sky is burning. The fault! The fault! I need another push, and it''ll all fall. I growled as I guarded my rune at my back, creeping and crawling towards the asshole who started this whole thing. The flame around us is lighting up higher to the sky as the circle on the wall glowed, a small laser appearing from the black hole in the circle and pointed to the child in his arms. The fuel is the child, the flames are the proof and the man here wants to stop all of this for some stupid shit he follows. "CEASE THIS!" The man cired, trying to be overheard from the childs'' wail. I jumped towards him and ripped my arm across the air. He dodged, ducking and thrusting his sword into my chest as I welp. I crashed through the flames and roar behind the living curtains, skidding across the ground before jumping back in and tackling him away from the circle. "THERE''S NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS! WHY CAN''T YOU SEE THAT?!" I screamed on his face as I grabbed his throat, lifting his head up and smashing it on the stone ground. He thicken his neck, rising the muscles around his shoulder and got hold of my wrist, his impossible strenght lifting me off him slightly. His face became steel strong, his teeth grinding on each other before he shot his head onto my nose. My neck snapped backwards as I was still grabbed on to and pulled back in, getting a kick in my abdomen when I was released from his grasp. "Killing and scarificing hundreds of thousands of people for what?! What is right about that?!" He yelled back, reach back to his sword just at the edge of the flame. "Things have to die for another to start. That''s the process of life!" I punched the ground and broke a hand size stone ball and threw it in his eyes, the stone bursting on his face and blinding him. He screamed in pain, the small shards of stone in his eyes made him finally bleed. "For what start?! Are you not happy enough with the world?!" He jumped up from his spot and ran past the child who was crawling over to the sword. "It''s the world who should be happy with this! All the years of pain and suffering is going to end!" I zig zag around his charge and did a solid blow on the underside of his jaw, making him tremble close to the Enders'' fire. Why can''t he and the sword just go in it already?! I thought in frustration of how it''s so hard just to just push them all in the fire in this semi-circle. He wipped the blood rolling down his chin and looked at me as he lay with the fire lighting the side of his face. "What are you trying to achive that costed so much lifes?" He spoke calmly like the perfect looking guy he is. I walked back to my spot infront of the white spinning rune and glance at the child who was holding the so called blessed sword. The sword passed on through generations of heroes in this world. "I''m not going for world domination if that''s your guess. Pass the sword over." I guestured my hand towards the child. "Pass it over and all pain, war, sin and sickness will all end." The child eyes glowed in awe and envy, taking a small step towards me. "Don''t!" The man shouted as he picked himself up and gave a cold stare at me, the light aura building up around him gave him a rightous lure that made the child stop and stare. This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. "What are you trying to achive?" He asked again, walking to the child and taking the sword of her. I looked up at the sky, waiting for the moon to pass the grey white clouds that is annoyingly prolonging the process. I need that sword for the last push, the moon for some reason isn''t glowing enough. I opened up my arms into the air and spoke out my reasoning. Reciting the ritual. "Bloods and bones creates bonds with everything in us, it is what the earth provided. But what do we provide the earth back? The bonds created in us, which is something I''m trying to do. Restarting creation and making it without the fault." I was dripping in blood, both mine and the intruders'' one. My clothes were partly submerged in red sickly liquid. "You''re mad." He commented "You''re madly self-rightous." I spoke back. I laughed freely with a wide grin ripping across my red hairy face. The moon finally came out of the clouds and the whole giant white rune circle glowed, shooting serveral more light beams at the child. Her scream ranged in both of our ears. "STOP IT! YOU''RE HURTING HER!" He shouted as he came in with a charge. My arm twisted and my bones grew out of it, the side of the bone sharpen and I countered his slash. "GIVE THE SWORD OVER! EVERYTHING WILL END IF YOU DO IT!" My muscles bluged out from my skin, a spray of blood exploded out of me as my flesh and the strings of muscles were bare in sight. His eyes narrowed sharply as if he was looking at a monster and slashed serveral times at me in a combo, a light train followed where he swung. We fought in the speed of light, our arms and movements were fuzzy and hard to track down clearly but it was easy enough to see the clashes between our bodies. As he twirled and swirled his sword in his swings, breaching into my area I had to dislocate my elbow to do the same, my joints bleeding drops of blood through the skin as it did so. He caught on as we fought longer, my blood was wasting away as my bones weaken and started to slightly chip under his blows. I cursed in mutters before releasing a roar that blew him off the ground to give me a little time to breathe. I looked at my boken bone sword that was my right hand and pointed the tip on the outter ring of the spinning rune. It''s not fair. I thought as I watched him get healed in the moonlight, the silver blue necklance glimering as it hanged out from his shirt. I always wanted an amulet gifted by a fairy. His sword was glowing brightly as well, charging up for a final blow as if it doesn''t want to continue this battle. I pressed a little of my weight on my bone sword and the ground chipped under the blade, a rune in chalk broke and a red pulse came flowing in me. He looked to the girl in agony and decided what he should do, bringingin the sword close tohis forehead with the blade facing downward. He closed his eyes for a short second and shot them open, his eyes filled with light and determination to bring me down. He roared as he twirled his sword on his hand so the blade faced the air and charged. There was also a faint wave following him as well. I screamed out loud as well, drowing both of their voices on my spot like a demon facing his last moments. He pulled back his arm and thrusted the sword directly at the center of my chest, the sword thumping through my flesh and bone with a large shockwave that ripped a bit of the stone ground behind him. I stood frozen and the light in his eyes died down, looking at me for an response. "Huhuhu. HAHAHAHAA~!" I bursted as I stood there dying, the fountain of blood pouring out of me while I laughted madly. He looked at me with confusion and looked at his sword, the light growing dimmer with each passing second. He tried to pull the sword out in concern but found it was stuck in me. The red pulsing light emmiting from my bone sword went in reverse, the light coming out of me was a much bright red, almost white. "REVERSE CONVERSION! HAHAHAGAPGAAAHGAH~!" Blood spurted from my mouth as I choked, laughting still as I''ve won. The reverse conversion was the opposite of absorbtion, instead of gaining its losing. But I was connected with the rune so what I lose is what it gets, the blessed swords'' power is activating the rune! This was the perfect spell to cast as absorbing the sword would be the end of me. His eyes shot open as he panic, trying to pull the sword out of me. I held onto the blade with a deathly grin, looking at the seemingly brighter sky.. "Cenya loss~" I spoke through my spiky teeth. At my words the rings of runes exploded and sucked everything its light touched with a giant beam shooting above it, brightening the sky and swallowed the world whole. As the darkness took over a scene, I was in a blurry scene in a fimilar place in a blazing town. The blurriness made the shadow wave and cloud the edge of my vision, making it even harder to see. I heard a distant scream, a girls'' high pitch screaming and black fuzzy people running and pushing, stamping on the fallen and pushing me side to side as they came past me. Another torch was thrown in the air of the bleeding sky, falling down on a roof of a building or throw a window of another. A scream came from the building and a burst of people broke through the doors of their own house, the fire latching on their back and eating them whole hungerily. The black smog was haunting my sight and I felt numb, unable to move, feeling no emotion or concious over my body as I watch the devestating scene playing infront of me. in the horizon a tall figure came riding on a horse, just like everyone else he was hard to discribe as a dense shadow covered most of him. He had a long sword that seem to slash anyone he cut at, within or outside his range people fell with blood spurting in the air with a dying cry. My body then began to move by itself, giving me no choice in the matter as the dark burning world span around me. I saw the great giant stone walls far above the houses, once great white stone walls now in rubbles, like pile of ashes just beside the firepit. The shouts of men rang in my ear, that undesireable emotion of anger and bloodthirst made my eyes water, if not worsing but blinding the lower part of my eye. The road I was apon was littered with cropses, men, woman and children of all age, two or three layers I couldn''t tell. It was either more rubble or another person under the cropses I could see. My hometown.. The day it was invaded by a nation from the outterlands. I still never knew their reason nor did I ever come back to this place. Their army was powerful and overwhelming and somehow I survived the slaughter from where I stood, this very spot in the smaller roads of the town. I walked and walked in the deads'' silence, my feet was walking over the bodies as if it was a flat surface, a lot of things didn''t make sense in a dream as they always pass through some logic in a way. I looked at my surroundings and noticed where I was going unintentionally, it was the path back home. Within the block I walk through the scene infront of me changed and merged with the area behind me, making it look like my home wasn''t that far to begin with. The door was broken open, pitch black occupied the house, leaving me outside without a clue what the interior of my childhood home looked like. I felt like the house was alive but dying as it was towering over me, the shadow created by the ring of flame around me drowned the details I was in. Moving again, I was moving again and something shot at my ankle, holding on my leg tightly and I shot my head back to see what it was. It was a lady in a horrible shape, bleeding and bruised with her clothes looking like rags as if it was dragged across the field. Serveral arrows was planted in her back and she stared at me with bloodshot eyes, crying red tears with her mouth open. "Ma..Ma?" I slowly spoke with tears overflowing, cutting down my cheek and dripping off my chin. Pain, war, and sin, that was what I wanted to rid from my world. Trimentality Chapter 6 : Trimentality It was so dark, the darkness made shapes of mold you''d see growing on old trees in the forest. Besides them being entirely black they were soaked in red, red like fresh blood but far in the distance I could see yellow in the shades of lime. I''m inside something, living.. I could see blood drops in almost sphereical forms, just that they all had a spiky or a bumpy edge on them. They came slowly floating in a lot of sizes, big as my finger nail to the small size or a dust particle. I felt very sleepy. My eyelids started to heavily closing down, making me lose sight of the strange scenery... In the abyss a man woke up and found himself somewhere strange. He had long black hair that covered his right eye and ran down his back past the pits, emo or not his face hidden underneath all that hair looks soft but his eyes said otherwise. "Afterlife?" He persumed as he stood up from his spot. He cursed in his head, rotten thoughts formed in his head and hoped that next time when he hangs himself his soul wouldn''t survive it. "Seems like this is a situation only I''ve read in fictions and mangas. But I''m really not that person." The memories of Arugo and his hero acting ached his heart, never in reality was it that easy to become a hero nor would it be possible to own 1 billion pieces of gold. "Hope magic exist then, better if I was randomly dragged into a summoning then a reincarnation. Starting over is too hard for my taste." He spatted, noone was here to know what he''s really like so he let lose of his bad personality. There was then a eruge to walk somewhere, into a specfic destination in the endless bright darkness. He didn''t think of it as much and followed with the feeling, it was better then doing nothing. "Mother.." A old man in the abyss opened his eyes and found himself standing in the black of nowhere, everything was endless darkness but unnaturally easy to see, as if a light was shone on a black box. He grunted, keeping in the nasty stuff of his nose in and wipped his tears from his wrinkly face with his baggy robes. He narrowed his eyes and looked around, looking hard at his surroundings and muttered to himself. "Where am I? Where is my world?" Nearly his whole life he spent trying to become a mortal divinity to recreate the ''wrong'' world he was born in and was broken hearted when he wasn''t somewhere he expected. Then suddenly there was a thought to walk somewhere, into a specfic destination in the endless bright darkness. He was suspious of the sudden thought and shot his eyes at the edges of his sight, trying to find if there was a being behind it. "Nothing, maybe it''s me then." He whispered and walked forward. For a few moments in the abyss two figures met each other, rather then fighting or becoming alerted by each others'' appearance it was more of curiousity. The old and sickly man in wreaked old fashion baggy robes was bearing a strange and charismatic air, not the type to bring people apart but together and close to him, but instinct can be tricked by unseen factors. The young thin and tall man towering the old man by a feet gave a forgettable feeling, giving the imperssion that he''ll disappear without a trace. His clothes encourage his aura as it was just plain black and longer then his own limbs. "Another dead one?" The tall long haired man thought out loud. "That''s right, I''ve died as well during the ritual. That explains why I''m not where I am not expected to go." The old man replied, but more to himself then the other man. A sourcerer? The tall man figured out in his head, wondering what has happened to him that made his robes in such a state. Was he poor or did he really get wreaked up in whatever he said before. The sight of the torn robes reminded his last moments and he grasped his neck, feeling the unnatural narrowed part of his throat. It wasn''t that deep but he knew it looks really bad and is probably black in that area. "Well since we are in the same situation and space, let''s know each other in this other realm." The old man said, breaking the silence between them. Knowing where the old man came from the tall man introduced himself first, knowing about his world history taught him that the olders always had respect no matter who or where they came from. Depending on the situation of course. This place reminded the tall man of the void back on Arugo, but much more silentier and more unknown so being his real self in a place with a assumed sourcerer is something he didn''t want to test.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. "I am... " He hesitated, he never really liked his real name and decided what he wanted to say. "I am Lythwyn." There was a hint of warmth in his tone comparing to his first statment that sounded dead. "I am 24 years old, or 24 rainy season as you''d be more similar with. I suspect we come from different worlds as noone ever wears robes like yours. So lets get things done breifly but effectively." Lythwyn said. "I come from a world of no magic. No magical creatures or supernatural beings. I''m not sure if a god even exist but I do know because of that ''my'' humans focused more on intelligence then strenght. Creating more advance technology that can even or even beat magic in different circumstances. The world I''ve come from is mainly populated with humans on besides humans the only smart enough creature to use a tool is, well, a monkey I guess. So you could easily see that humans rule the world with steel machines that could travel around the world, communicate overseas, destory lands and whatnot." Lythwyn casually said in a bored tone. "No magic? Like in no mana?" The old man question in doubt. "Don''t know if you know, but there''s something called science and chemical reation. We can do some amazing sutff with it but you could never call it magic." The old man nodded and kept his questions aside for later. "You are right on your thoughts. We are from two different worlds, opposite reality as how I like to see it." "I am Althanlos, I''ve lost count of my age but I died to change the world for the better. Never got to see it as I am here right now. I still believe I am an 7-stage arcane master, and seeing how you know the exsistence of magic you must know what arcane is?" Lythwyn nodded at his words and guestured to continue. "The world I''ve come from was all about ''strenght'', to terrorize and take over. Any man would spill blood just for a bit of food. And so when I had the opportunity to become stronger I took it, but the strenght I dreamt of was never ''this''." He waved over his dark coloured robe with blood on it. "Now what did you die for?" He asked. "I died for nothing. I had an obsession and I won''t denie it. I didn''t have anything to live for except Arugo but when it was gone, there''s no better way to live then living with something you love right? So when it was gone I decided to go as well." Lythwyn story wasn''t as tradgic be he had a point, he didn''t mention anything about opportunity nor how it was gone. There was no magic on his world so he would have to rely on a metalic object. But then again, was Arugo a machine? Could he fix it or was it something in a machine that was deliberately destoryed and was impossible to bring back? Althanlos thought. And as if Lythwyn could read his mind he answered it without lifting his eye to Althanlos face. "Arugo, I had no control in it. A group of people did and I spent practically my life in it so when they decided to shut it down forever I just wanted to die reguardless of what else I have." They stood in silence, processing the information they have given each other. But during their thoughts the abyss rumbled, quaking under their feet. A bright light then opened in the sky, far away from reach but big and clear enough that it would seem that you''d see it no matter how distant you are from it. "Well, this is a bit unexpected but I''ve read something about this before." Lythwyn said in a almost sarcastic tone but his cold voice made everything he said dead serious. "What is this?" Athanlos asked in question, unable to take his eyes off. Lythwyn just watched it because it reminded him of reality tv. A scence was taking place, yes, like a tv. Something was playing in it and it seems like it was a POV of a child getting birthed. Blood and goo covered the screen and a scream drowned any other voices in there. "Seems like when we were about to reincarnate all three of us came in the same body incidently." Lythwyn answered. "Reincarnated? Like spawning a creature of another world?" Seems like Athanlos knows what it means, but in a different term. Definitly a magical term. "Not your term, my term of word. Reborn, a soul going into an infant or souless body, appearently if a infant was able to hold all three of us in, and judging from his or hers'' crying the body we''re in must be unnaturally spiritually powerful." Lythwyn explained. "You are.. Your world must be more advance then expected." Athanlos stated. "Way beyond imagination and limits." Lythwyn commented. "Oh?" Athanlos let out curiously. "Ever thought a slim box made of plastic, glass, metal and some electricty can talk, ring, capture reality in a picture, have access to knowledge around the world and more? Of course no magic is involved." Athanlos went dead silent, the thought of something like that never occured to him in his life and he doubt anyone in his world world would to. "Beyond expectancy." He muttered. "Besides me with knowledge beyond your world I''m pretty sure you''re quite the man with magic. 7-stage arcane master, heard and read that it''s pretty deep shi-.. Deep power." Athanlos nodded and combed his long shriveled beard as he watch the life in the screen take place, remebering his tradgic past. " ''Knowledge beyond my world''. You know of arcane, reincarnation, magic, and possibly more then great sages who are said to know everything in my world. How is that a world of no magic knows more of it then one that exist with it?" He said with a bit of jealousy, it is quite unfair when you look at it that way. "Because we dream, dream a bit too much for godsake I believe. But with all the time in our hands and knowledge gained through dreams of others as well, anything could happen within the mind. And even if magic did not exist in my world, we believe it does and thus we create what doesn''t exist in ours but does in another. Sorry if it doesn''t make sense but I was never the type to make sense in the first place." "I think it goes the same for me to." Athanlos muttered, a flash of memory came through his head and a demons'' hideous face followed after it. "I don''t even know why I chose to do what I did back then." "Well, one advise. Even if you''re a sourcerer, even if you have ''real'' experience with magic. You didn''t even know what that screen was in the beginning I warn you. Don''t try of attempting or even thinking of getting out of here, what do you think would happen to the soul controlling the body if you actually made it out?" Lythwyn voice interrupted Athanlos deep self-thoughts. "Since this body is young it''ll get unstable if an older soul took over it, probably the reason why we''re both out here instead in there." He pointed to the screen. "Not only that, the soul controlling the body has a possibility of dying here. And can we really survive in a foreign world where we have no information of in a babys'' body? I hate to say it but we''ll just wait for a decade before we can attempt to do anything on the outside world." The neutural agreement between the two was already clear and their communication and understanding of each other was strong at first word. It wouldn''t be surprising if they could also befriend the young soul controlling the body in 10 years. Ludipo Chapter 7 : Ludipo With white soft hair and bright diluted iris he crawled across the ground of his home, his eyes directed to the darker places because of how the light easily enters his eyes. Slowly and curiously he crawled to the sunlight on the ground, his eyes narrowed and down but still in the sight of the light. As he entered the light warmth overwhelmed him and he fell to his chest, laying comfortably in the sun with his eyes closed. "Strange one isn''t he?" A voice in the room asked. "Strange? No matter even if he acts like that he looks strange, white like a ghost, but as lazy as hell." A man said angerily, complaining about his son. "So what if he''s strange, he''s still ours Jard." A woman said while looking over her son gently, sitting next to the sunlight. The man in long robes started to walk out to the direction of the exit, nodding approvaly at the woman. "You should be happy that there''s nothing wrong with him, it''s just appearance that''s different." "Nothing wrong?!" The man shouted back. "Jard!" The woman became outraged. "You complain about everything that doesn''t look normal, but he''s our son so least shut up about this, please?" Hemidallr began to cry from the sudden shouts and the woman began caring him, lifting him off the raw wooden plank floor and rocked him in her grasp. "Also, register your son to the temple at the age. It''ll be a shame to not support our village with such a child with strong mana." The preist stated before leaving out through the front door of the house. The small family was left in their home alone in silence, Hemidallr once again roaming under the furniture of the lounge/kitchen. Looking around for something to peak his interest. "Even when I was his age I didn''t waddle around like a cat. You better not give birth to another strange thing like that boy." Jard pointed to his wife in accusion and went to the doorway. The woman frowned, watching Jard packing up his equipment hanging besides the door frame, a hoe and a pitch-fork. "And how will that be?" She thought out loud. "When I do you harder. Just like the field, the harder I farm the better crops the village get." He then shut the door behind him and ran off to his destination out of the territory of houses. She pick herself up off the ground and walked towards Hemidallr who was under the chairs, punching the legs in disappointment? It wasn''t a bad looking chair, it was just plain wooden contructed by different pieces of shaped wood. As Hemidallr kept punching the leg it slid off from its position under the seat and the whole chair came falling down, separating to its own units. He started crying and the woman came hurring over, pulling away the heavy wood pieces off of him. "Are you okay? You idiot of course it''ll fall if you kept hitting it." Taking all the pieces off him she hugged him for comfort, rubbing his head and back to make sure it was fine. While she was holding him she saw a cut on his neck slowly healing, the skin mending back over the red bloody flesh. "Huh?" She patted his neck where the cut was but it felt like it wasn''t there in the first place. "Maybe his neck was just hot." She thought out loud as she kept hugging the crying baby. |- Athanlos Perspective -| Inside the abyss Athanlos slightly influence Hemidallr to punch the chair to kill something residing on the backside of the chair leg. That was a lich bug, why was a lich bug on that chair? I thought as I watch the bug rot and vanish off the wooden piece like white sand. "Was that you?" Lythwyn asked behind me. "I''m pretty sure babies don''t know how to balance with only one arm as they crawl." He shook his head casually, denying his involvement with Hemidallr strange behavior. "You suspect me Lythwyn?" In a superior tone. "Anyone would if they''re in this situation. Three souls in one, the newborn would be controlling the body as the other two would not. But only one of them knows magic and it''s not controlling the body." He explained. I tilted my head down in thought. "And how would you know it''s really a soul similar to the body?" "Educational guess." This time he didn''t say how or why with his reply, just cut it off before revealing anymore information. Really is a dangerous man, he doesn''t even need to see anything to know what is what or who is who. As long as he knows it''ll be impossible to hide anything related to his knowledge. But, how vast is his knowledge? How much or what does he do not know is the question that might be even this worlds'' greatest mysteries. Maybe I''m just over exerting it. My connection to Hemidallr senses are still lingering, treading on a thin thread as I watch the screen unblinkingly. Lythwyn went back to his strange foreign art training, soundlessly running and exercising behind me in this abyssal realm. This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. "Were you a martial artist in your last life?" I shouted without looking back. A shallow laugh came from him, a laugh that sounded like it was mocking itself. "I knew so many things back then, it''s laughable that just about all of it is useless there and unknown here. No I wasn''t a martial artist, I''m more of someone who knows a lot of it and can mimic it by instinct. My talent there didn''t have value except in Arugo." I took a peak behind me and saw him blurr in ultra speed that would terrify any bare-handed fighter, his hands flashed at a imaginary target and his body moved in a way that it dodged weapons. "Sadly there was no fist-only classes on it so I had to use Eskrima when I was a lower-level, then Zulu stickarts. I progressed from there and when to sword-wielding." "So you are a warrior?" "None of it was real reality, only virtual so my original body can''t keep up with my own mind. But since I''m in soul form it doesn''t really affect me." He jumped far back and twisted his wrist side to side, pretending he was holding two long sitck and swirled his arms around and thrusted when least expected. "What''s your favourite style?" He kept changing his fighting forms to many different alien ones, surprising me with how brutal his actions stood out as his appearance didn''t seem like the type to be able to do such performance. "Can''t remeber it''s name, but it was made by a woman, or so said the tale." He stood straight up and striked the air but cocked his arm and did a imediate punch that was no different from the last one. "Is that it?" A bit unimpressed. "No, that was my own style. Of course I wouldn''t be standing up like that in a real right." He crouched down and charge forward harshly, lifting his upper body upwards and doing the same punch but ducked down and did another from below. "Why punch once when you can punch twice?" He breathed out as he did a series or rapid movements with another following it. "Anyone would expect that you''ll attack from one side and another but would happens if you keep attacking the same place?" "It''s predictable." I answered. He then vanish from his position and was standing two steps behind of where he was punching. "It does, their senses would focus on that spot and then that creates a blind everywhere else. Our eyes aren''t perfect nor our responses." Wait, when did he get there? "Sadly all mobs in Arugo has perfect sense and thus I had to create even more ruthless techniques." He then moved in serveral different places for awhile in the in specific spots, but the longer I watched the more I feel like I was falling. He''s.. - Becoming faster? |- Outside Perspective -| Out in the long grassy plains a breeze washes over the land, watched over by one of the most powerful existences of the worlds. The sun. And on these wavy plains whose grass grow as long as the height of a wild wolf a village is hidden in the ocean of light greens. Meanwhile out in the trail of the village a man was walking along the dirt path in the grass with two long tools laying on his shoulders. His short hair rustle along with the grass and he heaved up around the hills, his boots digging into the uneven hard ground. Once he reached the peak of the hillside he saw the other side of the plains, different as there was another dozens of tall and or wide plants growing on the hills. The hills on the farms were leveled and colonized, wooden walls held the ground to even the surface and make it easier for the workers. There were other farmers in the field, leading the ox''s through the maze as they sat on the wagon or were hidden, digging in the farm to weed out parasites or pluck out unwanted speices living besides/on the crops. Jard finally got off the track and jumped over the small cobblestone wall that protected the field from rodents and looked around. He then walked on the main path and a man driving his wagon came into sight in the distant. The man driving then jumped up and waved to him. "Jard! I heard you got a preist to check out your son because he looks as white as the clouds." The man laughted on his wagon, as he hurried the ox. A person then jumped out of the leaves of the crop that made Jard stop look at him. Just another guy whose face was painted with dirt. "Did you really? Jard! I mean seriously, even if he does look weird he''s still your son, not some beast of Gavirt." He then climbed out of the tall stalks and brushed his dirty clothes. At the backround there were men hauling supplies and boxes along the wall and another shout came from the village, transporting another a heap of dried flowery grass in a cart. "Oi, shut up. Can''t you see he''s angry?" The owner of the voice came from behind then hugged the grumpy man with his right arm and rocked both of them on the spot. "I bet he did it because he''s worried for Hemidallr. Right?" "I just got the preist in the house a few minutes ago. How did you guys even know about this?" Jard pushed off the too interactive guy off him, slightly a bit annoyed. There was a few grunts but the dirty man coughted and changed the subject, noone wanted to give out that they stalk each other now would they? Afterall it''s quite the small village so it''s easy to pick up anything with just a bit of listening. "You know, you can marry off your son to my daughter when he''s 13 if you want. We''ve been friends since kids so why not merge the family aye?" He gave a loveable smile. "You don''t need to cheer me up Franz, you don''t even have a child." "Not yet, Jasmine is finally pregnet and the preistess said it was a girl!" Franz said excitedly as he gripped his backpack straps tigher in his grasp. "Whatcya talkin'' bout?" The one who was driving his wagon from eariler drove past them and jumped down and landed on the two, pushing Franz over aside a bit before he fitted his arms around them. "Just hi-" The man besides him spoke quicker then Jard, makign him stop halfway. "Marriage! Just like old times!" He was sorter then the rest but was much louder that it caught the others attention. "You guys never give Jard any space don''t ya?" A voice came from behind them, a few of them took a glance and greeted the tall thin man who was looking at them neuturally. The sorter man gave a grin and jumped on him playfully. "Then again, only you Roger don''t give two shits about space. Everyone else just jumps on Jard because he''s the strongest." He then muttered about his house being attacted to another and animals on his yard. The blond haired man who was hanging on Jard and Franz started to lift himself up, putting all his weight on them and grinned cheekily. "Ah shit! Let go off me Johann! My stuff would fall out because of you!" Franz was holding onto his bag strongly because the man holding him was using his bag as grip. "About marriage." Johann ignored Franz and look to his side where he was mainly using Jard to carry him. He looked fine, more like if he wasn''t carrying him in the first place. "Wha- Argh!" Johann fell off the air and faceplanted on the ground. "That''s what you get for being lazy." Franz called out and shrugged his shoulders. The tall thin man came walking over and threw Johann back up in the air like a swing, watching him fly back up in to the air and plant his feet to the ground. "Thanks Oliver." Johann groaned out and went behind the group and followed where ever they were walking off to. "Hey, who''s driving your wagon?" Roger asked, latching on Oliver like a leech. "I''m pretty sure the transporters already got it." Johann said carefreely. "Nope, your ox is still moving." Franz pointed the moving cart that was running over the crops with his thumb. "You know you''re going to have those wheat if its wrecked." Jard stated at the hesitant Johann. Johann then started moving backwards slowly with a frozen face. "I''ll be back." He whispered before bursting into a run that ripped the ground under his feet. [A/N] : Was suppose to do serveral chapter releases tomorrow but plot changed and had to redo chapters.
