《Black World》 Chapter 0 : Prologue Hello people this is my first original so if there''s some wrong grammar that is extremely unbearable to ignore just ignore it! because english is not my native language! So please Enjoy and Have Fun! ---------- ¡°TOO HOT!¡± as I shout without minding my surroundings. I continued to walk in the middle of the summer here at a crowded street in the city. My name is Van Rune, the name is weird if you say it all but only people that really cares do that nowadays. The reason why I am walking in the middle of the summer is because of my friend, Frankie Osmet, who said that I need to come to his house right now. He didn¡¯t give me a room to refuse as he said that I won¡¯t get the food supply this month if I don¡¯t go to his house. This is why I hate being poor but he doesn¡¯t care even when he¡¯s giving me food. He said ¡°Oh, if you don¡¯t have money why don¡¯t I give you food?¡± that¡¯s what he said when I¡¯m having a hard time where to get food. Having a friend like him really is the best but now I don¡¯t know why he would go so far to use the food supply as a hostage just to get me come to his house. Anyway it¡¯s too hot to be moving right now as the summer is more intense than the summer of earth. Right, this is not earth but another planet. This planet is the Valor Planet, this place is good as a living planet but the summer and winter is the (my) most hated season as it is 2x hotter and colder than earth. And now I arrived at the gate of the Osmet Family, one of the pillars of the Valor Planet. When I arrived the guard look at me and nod as he let me enter without checking me, seriously you people should know how to check even though I¡¯m a friend of your goddamn young master. As I enter inside the mansion I saw two people sitting in the sofa having a conversation, one is a girl that is named Frea Osmet, Frankie¡¯s little sister and the most precious treasure of the Osmet Family. I remember when someone tried harassing Frea in the school, He got dragged into the back of the school, and surely I¡¯m one of the people that dragged him, we beat him to make sure that he will get out of the hospital after five months. I remember that time after we beat the guy into pulp and leave him there, we didn¡¯t see him for a year, I don¡¯t know why but that time after we beat him and I¡¯m preparing to go home I saw over 20 people carrying baseball bat in the back of the school. When I remember that I trembled without knowing. The other person that is sitting opposite Frea is an old man that is in his 60s, His name is Roger Osmet, father of Frea and Frankie Osmet and the current head of the family. The moment that Frea saw me enter the mansion she waved at me and I waved back. I saw Uncle Roger look at me and, OI! Don¡¯t glare at me like that I¡¯m not going to do something at Frea! If I do something at her I¡¯m sure you will see my corpse floating in the nearest river here! ¡°Good morning Van!¡± Frea greet me without reservation, please Frea have mercy in me I don¡¯t want my body to float at the nearest river! Look at your father he¡¯s glaring at me like he wants to rip my bone off my body! ¡°Good morning Frea and Uncle.... Roger¡¯s.¡± Someone help me! Help me! I walk upstairs to go to Frankie¡¯s room. The mansion is too big that even Frankie one of the owner of the house is complaining that it¡¯s too tiring going to the dining room and going back to his room. I remember my first visit at the Osmet Family¡¯s mansion, I got lost and I wander around till I meet Uncle Roger at the garden. The moment I saw Uncle Roger I immediately felt grave danger as a knife is thrown at me without hesitation. That time I didn¡¯t have anything in mind just to survive in front of him. I deflect the knife at that time but I saw him pull a gun, that time I didn¡¯t have any hesitation instead of deflecting the knife, I let it stab my hand and I immediately pulled it and throw at Uncle Roger¡¯s hand. The knife pierce Uncle Roger¡¯s hand which made him drop the gun, but immediately I got pinned down by the guards and swords point at my head, guns aiming at me. That time I was saved by Frankie when he arrived. He told the people that I¡¯m his friend but they didn¡¯t believe him, they ask me what am I doing at the garden and somehow I embarrassingly said that I got lost. When I said that Uncle Roger burst out laughing and let me go, He told me the next time I got lost just shout which made me extremely shock. They didn¡¯t kill me even though I harmed Uncle Roger, but time gradually pass by and when I became friends with Frea I feel like my death is just around the corner if I don¡¯t get careful. When I arrived in front of the room I felt someone is watching me which made me shiver. I slowly look around to see if someone is in there and just what I expect someone really is watching. The person who is watching me is the elder sister of Frea. Zuli Osmet, I don¡¯t know why but every time I visit I feel like the camera all around the mansion is watching me, well there¡¯s no way no one is watching me as she is the only one who have access all over the camera. Well let me just ignore her and enter the room. Once I enter the room I immediately saw the only friend who support me and I don¡¯t know why but his aura is extremely heavy. ¡°Hey Frank, when will you keep acting like that? I¡¯m already here.¡± As I said those his body trembled. He suddenly embrace my leg which made me jump. ¡°Oi! Frank what the hell are you doing!?¡± I grab his shoulder to make him stand but he doesn¡¯t have a plan to stand up and just continued clinging in my leg. Him being like this is absolutely strange. I strengthened the grip in his shoulder and then suddenly throw him in the air. The throw made him surprise which I suddenly grab his collar. I know that doing this will or might make him unconscious but anyway it¡¯s better than making him cling to my leg. I shoulder throw him into the floor which made a loud ¡°Thud¡± sound. When I look at Frankie I saw his face which is in a state of confusion and pain. ¡°W-what just happened?¡± ¡°Well¡­ should I say I pulled you out of your miserable state and because of you I walk in that freaking town in the middle of summer and It¡¯s even crowded you a**hole!¡± When I answer him with a shout and ask him what¡¯s happening he made a complex face and the aura earlier once again came out, seriously if he cling at my leg again I will throw him out of the room and drag him in front of his demonic father. . . . Frankie told me all of it and it gives me headache as he really mess up. He told me that he got involved in the Black World, one of the most mysterious ¡®game¡¯, no, one of the dangerous ¡®game¡¯ or is it one of the dangerous ¡®game¡¯ that if you die in the ¡®game¡¯ your soul will just disappear with the character, well not just soul as all of your body is transported in the ¡®game¡¯. Well I can¡¯t deny that I know lots of info in the game as I¡¯m involved but I stop playing it for almost 4 years from now. Well I start playing it when I¡¯m 15 then played it for 4 years then I stop when I¡¯m 19 so I have lots of experience about it but playing it can be a bad thing. ¡°So Frank, how the hell did you get involve at the Black World? People like you doesn¡¯t have a chance to get inside but that¡¯s not the problem now. Why the hell are you afraid?¡± ¡°Why would I not be afraid?! I saw a group of people murder someone else! And when they notice me hiding and saw everything they chase me! Now I might die and my body inside the game is inside a cave if they find it I will die here!¡± ¡°Well you¡¯re still alive and moving. Anyway I¡¯ll try to find a way to help you.¡± As I said those words Frankie immediately hug me and cried, if someone saw this scene I will surely cry as this is too embarrassing! . . . When I leave the Osmet Family mansion I walk into a alleyway. I sit in a corner and just look at the sky in this small alleyway. When I left the Black World I thought I won¡¯t go back anymore and here I am going to help my friend. Well I guess when I¡¯m in it I¡¯ll visit some of my friends¡­ if they are alive. ¡°World domain open. Soul link connection activate.¡± *ttring* [Speak thy name] ¡°My name is Azazel.¡± chapter 1: Reunion. As my whole body start shining my vision turned into pure white. I appeared in a simple but relaxing room, table near the window, book shelf at the door side, this is the last room I saw before I left the Black World. The room where the last place I bid farewell to this world but now here I am again. I stand up and stretch my body, somehow I feel like I¡¯m still not use to it once again but I guess this is normal when I left and didn¡¯t go back after 4 years. ¡°WHAT DID YOU SAY! ¡° Huh someone is shouting downstairs? That¡¯s rare. ¡°Like I said Loreiya, you need to stop visiting master Azazel. If you think I don¡¯t know what you are doing when you always visit master then you¡¯re wrong about that. You sexual predator old woman.¡± This voice¡­ its Loreiya and Lily. But good luck to you Lily, you said the most forbidden word to say to a fellow woman. I wish you¡¯re still alive after this. ¡°YOU! WHAT DID YOU SAY!?¡± *BOOM* She¡¯s in a berserk state! I need to leave now! If I don¡¯t leave now I will never be able to leave! I walk slowly to the window without making a sound. I slowly opened the window. ¡°Ah.¡± This view, why did I forgot that there is a view that all of us friends look at? Why did I forgot how we like to travel and have fun without caring about the world, this is the only view that will never make me lose interest. I sit at the frame of the window looking at this scene where you can see all kinds of things from up above the sky. Why did I forgot this scene where all of us relax and promise that we will never abandon each other? Why does tears start coming out of my eyes? *BANG* ¡°Master Azazel it¡¯s bath time!¡± I look at the person who entered the room. There an elf girl is standing, she is the elf that I save when she is being attack by some group. The elf who followed me even though I told her that it¡¯s okay just saying thanks. ¡°Maste-¡° I jump outside of room, without caring whether she is happy or she will cry. I will just ignore her and just be done with it. ¡°Ah.¡± Did I just forgot where Frankie is? Well I can ask after I arrived at the nearest town. Ahh, this feels amazing, the wind brushing at my face, the feeling of falling from a high place. I wonder when was the last time I jump in a high place. ¡°Master!¡± Huh that¡¯s weird why do I hear a voice coming from my back. I¡¯m falling right now, please don¡¯t tell me she jump too because that¡¯s a pain if she really did. I spin my body to look at my back and I saw a girl, a little girl that is following me with her wings flapping very hard that it almost looks like it¡¯s going to get rip off her back. Lily, the little dragon that can transform to a little girl, the little girl that I adopt is going after me. Damn why did she jump to follow me! And is she flying faster than my falling speed? At this rate she will crash at me! ¡°Ugh!¡± Suddenly she accelerated and crash at my stomach. She really crash at me and is it just me or it¡¯s too strong that I almost vomit! ¡°Master! Master! Master!... Uwahhhh.¡± She¡¯s hugging me too hard! Someone help me this is too hard that it will surpass my pain threshold. ¡°W-why did you left!.... *sob* you said that you will never leave me alone! Somehow I feel like it will be hard to not leave her again. She suffered when I left and now that I¡¯m back she doesn¡¯t want me to leave because she don¡¯t want to suffer once again. The feeling of getting abandoned is a feeling that will make you lose your will live. She¡¯s a strong girl to still live up to this day while not seeing me moving and talking to her. Even though my body is in the house, she will never feel like I¡¯m there as she knows that we are an outsider to the original inhabitant of this world. But I know what she feels as seeing the people around you disappear. ¡°[Mana flow] activate, [Wings] activate.¡± As I said those words, the mana in the surroundings start moving to my back as it forms into a wing. ¡°Now shall we fly to the nearest town?¡± This story has been stolen from Royal Road. I can increase my travelling speed but the mana consumption is too high so I only use this if something important happen. After an hour we arrive in the nearest town and for sure that no one recognize me I didn¡¯t use the wings to enter the town and just stop in the nearby forest and walk out of there. Now that I think about it my guild card can¡¯t be change to other name so I will get into a problem if I use it without thinking the consequence, but I can use the second floor for a bit of security so I guess I will have to do that, even though it¡¯s too unpleasant to be gaze when I¡¯m going in the second floor. *Roaar* When I heard the roar I immediately look at my back and somehow the thing that appeared is not a monster but rather a monster that is use for a delicious food. The thing that roared is a bear that is tall as a tree when standing. I forgot where but I remember a country where they use this bear as their best product that can¡¯t be best by other country. That time when I taste it I grab the royal chef¡¯s collar and use my wing magic to go back to my vacation house in that country. I hunt 10 bears and told him to cook it all then I paid him for cooking it. When I returned the man I saw the country¡¯s army pointing their spear at me. I got really embarrass when I explained the reason why I kidnap the chef. Anyway this thing will be a preserve food! I will hide it into one of my magic storage skill after I kill it so I can have that delicacy again when I visit it after I rescue Frankie. ¡°Lily! Capture it! We will have a meal after I rescue my frie-.¡± Oi! Why the hell is she drooling? ¡°Hey Lily, you¡¯re drooling.¡± ¡°Ah, sorry.¡± ¡°Hey Lily did you go to a country called Fradel?¡± ¡°Yes, and Master this bear is delicious! I bought one when I visit that country but when I taste it I immediately kidnap the person who made it and let him settle in the town near the vacation house! I¡¯m pretty sure he will cook that dish when we arrive!¡± As she said those words I felt extremely embarrass as she did what I did when I visited the country! And even worse she didn¡¯t return the guy! Does she know what will the family of the person she abduct reacts when their family head disappear? ¡°By the way Master. When I kidnap him I took his whole family so he didn¡¯t complain that time so it¡¯s all good!¡± Hey! Don¡¯t be proud of yourself. Do you know what the county¡¯s king will think if he knew that a whole family disappeared just because of a food! Anyway nice job now we have a chef in the town. I will reward you a pat later. After our talk the Bear charge straight at us without thinking what will happen to it. Lily made a grabbing motion in the air and the space distorts near her hand. A battle axe appeared as she pulled it from the distorted space, the magic is one of my original magic that I¡¯m very proud of, I think me and Lily are the only one who can use it. Now that she got her weapon Lily immediately smash the head of the bear. Thank goodness it¡¯s not the body just the head, the head is the most useless part of the bear so I don¡¯t have anything to worry about it. ¡°Hey Lily, if you¡¯re done with it just hide it in your space inventory. I still need to save Frankie, I don¡¯t want him to die in a place like that so tonight I¡¯m going to tell him to just run and if he finds a village or town I¡¯ll ask him the name of it. I don¡¯t even have a clue where he is.¡± ¡°Who¡¯s Frankie?¡± ¡°Hmm¡­ well I didn¡¯t introduce him to you that time because he¡¯s not involve in the Black World but I can say he¡¯s a friend of mine. Anyway let¡¯s get going I need to have a decent sleeping area, I don¡¯t want to remember the pain of sleeping in the ground.¡± I walk to the direction of the town while Lily put the bear in the space inventory, by the way the name of their species is Pirto. It sounds weird when they told me in the Fradel country but I guess weird names really can¡¯t escape people¡¯s weird naming sense even you are in a different world. After half an hour we got out of the forest and somehow the sun is setting down. Anyway the town lights is pleasant to the eye and the road to enter the town is full of road lights. The one who taught the people about this is a genius as he didn¡¯t violate any rules. I forgot to say but there¡¯s a rule when you enter the Black World, the first rule is to never ever help the advance the technology of the Black World, second, do things without an intention of destroying the world in exception of you became a member of the demon army, third, don¡¯t extinct a race or any kind of monster. Once any of those rule is broken your soul will just disappear without hesitation, I can surely say that it¡¯s scary as when I visit a research institute. When he said that he can make this and that with the metals and told about nuclear facility can be made with that material then suddenly he just *plop* not moving and the eyes shows that he doesn¡¯t have a soul anymore and the researcher panic a bit but their memory somehow got restart as they just said like they forgot something very important. They ask me but I shook my head extremely hard that I thought I will my neck if I do it harder. Well without breaking any rules you will live without a problem and you can even live here forever so the change of scenery is extremely good for the people who hates the modern world. Lily and I arrived at the town entrance, by the way if you show them your guild card they will let you in without a problem or show a trait of outsider, which is the mark at their chest or at their back. Well having a mark at the back is the rarest thing for an outsider to have like me. The mark on their back is in shape of their job. Well the job that they get in their mark is divided in ranks that is common, uncommon, rare, Ex rare and the last two is the myth and legendary, and there is a guild who has a member full of legendary but they are gone now. As I get near the guard, he saw Lily beside me and his face immediately turned complex then immediately point his spear at me. When the other guards saw the guard in front of me then saw me with Lily they immediately drew their weapon. ¡°Get away to Miss Lily!¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know how but I¡¯m pretty sure you trick Miss Lily! Getaway from her she will become our governor¡¯s daughter in law so you better know your place.¡± I look at Lily and she seems to be confused too. And what the hell with becoming a daughter in law!? I don¡¯t even know this, well of course I didn¡¯t enter Black World for 4 years. ¡°Hey I don¡¯t know what you mean but trick, but do you want me to level your goddamn place because I don¡¯t know any of this daughter in law!? Do you think I will let my daughter marry anyone without me knowing!?¡± ¡°Daughter? You better shut up with your petty lie! Only the owner of the ancient dragon job has the right to call her a daughter!¡± ¡°Then it¡¯s the more reason I have the word in here because I¡¯m Azazel! Or do you even want me to just turn a blind eye here! You better get your governor out here before I annihilate his blood line down to the ground let the whole world that his bloodline doesn¡¯t even exist after this night!¡± He look at me then whisper some words to a guard nearest to him then run inside the city. After a few minutes a carriage full of design and made out of gold is coming here. This governor has a disgusting taste of showing his wealth. He should have just invest in making the town better. As the carriage stop, the door of the carriage opened and a fat bearded old man step out and a rather good looking guy walk¡¯s out. This guy must be the goddamn person who wants to sully my cute Lily! The bearded fellow walk in front of me and smile. I remember this smile, the smile of a person who is going to offer some kind of money just to get what he wants or his family wants. This town is under my control before I left the Black World and I didn¡¯t let any of the corrupted people take the governor position. I remember that I put a reliable person in task of the governor seat but I guess he died or someone killed him. ¡°So you are the governor. I wonder what happen to the governor I put the task to work as the governor.¡± I wonder why but my voice became cold, maybe anger? I don¡¯t know what to describe this because someone killed a person that I trust to do his work. ¡°Oh, he got killed by an assassin that a corrupted noble sent but don¡¯t worry about the noble I already dealt with him even and he won¡¯t go back to the town anymore.¡± ¡°Hoh, then I must reward you.¡± ¡°Reward?¡± His eyes shine because of the reward and do you even know what I said earlier? This guy is a really greedy bastard I guess I won¡¯t hesitate now. ¡°And the reward is this.¡± I flick my finger as a mana formed a hand that is big enough to grab him. The greedy fat old man look at my mana hand with fright. I moved the mana hand to smash him to the ground. *Splurt* As he got smash by the mana hand It felt really disgusting but at the same time pleasing. Somehow my senses are telling me to not go down that path. ¡°Now that one is a reward good enough for you.¡± I look around the people behind him but all their face is extremely pale, the dead fat old man¡¯s son is looking at me, his face shows that he is extremely enraged. He immediately took the sword of the nearest guard and then charge straight at me. I would have spare you if you¡¯re not too attach to your greedy father but I guess you request your father to use all of his power to get a marriage for Lily and the reason for his death right now. Hah, do this people think I¡¯m a benevolent person as I don¡¯t care about them? I hate meddling with useless people but once they gets into my nerve I will deliver the mercy blow to end their miserable lives! When he is near enough he raise the sword and swing it down towards me and surely I catch it between my fingers, and surely I surround my hand with mana as to not get a cut in my finger. Getting a cut in your finger is extremely bad, I learned that when I tried to learn how to cook, that time when I¡¯m cutting vegetables I cut my finger and boom! Blood everywhere. He tried to pull the sword but I pulled the sword instead. I snatch the sword in his hand then stab it in his chest. ¡°This is better than your father¡¯s death but people that think they are invisible because they have a good family and a power that can order people around and their heads become too big and think they are the elites that is born to rule. I hate those kinds of people that¡¯s why I show them not to become too arrogant.¡± After I said those words his body became lifeless as his body collapse to the ground. Chapter 2: Crio, Azazel and the Yeti The death of the governor and his son became a bit too shocking even to the people that is in the gate. I look around to see if someone will attack but they just stared at me. I wave my hand and the mana hand disappeared. I don¡¯t want to start trouble after this so I just entered the town without minding them. Man this will be hard I need to find another person that I can entrust the governor seat. After ten minutes I saw the good old inn of my friend, I don¡¯t know why but I think it¡¯s busy but I guess I can find a room if he saw me. When I entered the inn I immediately saw a muscle body bearded old man, his name is Gando, one of my friends who help me advance in Black World, well he only gave me a free room and the food is not free so that sucks that time and surely he even gave me his one sword in the collection of his. Well the first time I saw the weapon collection even I became astonish as his collection is not just sword, there¡¯s even a spear, bow, etc. Before I left that time I returned the sword I borrowed and somehow the sword became a holy or some cursed type sword? I forgot because he said that two abilities is inside the sword both holy and cursed. That time I remembered someone¡¯s theory ¡°The holy element is the most useful element to defeat cursed creatures but cursed element is vice versa. Cursed element can kill holy creatures.¡± That is the only thing I remembered but I know that having two elements inside a sword is okay but not a conflicting element because the sword might explode. When I walk straight to the counter, Gando saw me and he smiled and laugh which is extremely loud that took all of the people¡¯s attention. ¡°Azazel! Welcome back!¡± ¡°I¡¯m back? Anyway is there any news while I¡¯m gone?¡± ¡°Well there is some news but I think it will just spoil your mood.¡± ¡°There¡¯s nothing that can spoil my mood now because the new governor hired an assassin to kill the person I assigned in the governor seat for I don¡¯t know years since he sit in that governor job?¡± ¡°Well I guess that might be a bit bad but anyway I guess you will be happy that that governor is dead because someone killed him just a minute ago.¡± ¡°Well I¡¯m the one who killed him.¡± ¡°Hmm, I knew it but anyway the news is two of the member of extinct guild is seen and attack the royal palace just a week ago.¡± ¡°Wait what do you mean two of the member of extinct guild? What is his attacks tell me now!¡± ¡°Hoh, so you are still interested in the extinct guild. Well his attacks just contain flames, well he¡¯s flying but the flame comes from his wings and his arm is inside the wing. Maybe that¡¯s enough of information you need to know his job?¡± ¡°His job might be related to a phoenix, but why did the army let him just havoc in that place? It¡¯s impossible that he can attack without reserve because the palace have one mythical job user too. I remember that his job is related to water dragon so it¡¯s impossible that he will just ignore if someone will attack the royal palace.¡± ¡°Yeah and the bad thing is he is found dead. Ice impaled all over his body, somehow the royal family is safe.¡± ¡°Well why do I even have to know what¡¯s happening. Do you want me to participate and help the royal family? Well my answer in that is extremely NO! I just enter Black World to save my friend not to fight some legendary guild.¡± ¡°If that¡¯s what you want. Oh, by the way the sword that you returned last 4 years, someone wants to buy it but I told him that we can¡¯t sell it.¡± ¡°Then? Why can¡¯t you sell it?¡± ¡°I can¡¯t take the sword out of the pedestal and even someone who has a job of sword master can¡¯t get near it. They said that the sword might be bind in the owner or the sword have a soul. Well you can go down there directly because there¡¯s a line at the back of the inn. If you can take it out I will be happy but if you don¡¯t want I¡¯ll be happy too because I can earn more money.¡± ¡°Wait don¡¯t tell me when you discovered that it has a soul you put a poster in the guild hall that you have that?¡± ¡°Yep.¡± He nods while smiling. Damn this guy got lucky because of me! ¡°Well let me check it, if it really is bind or have a soul and accepts me then I can use it. I don¡¯t want to use mana too much because it¡¯s too tiring.¡± I walk towards the cellar where Gando hides his collection and saw a line straight to the back door. When I appeared through the kitchen the eye of the people in the line focus at me. I just ignored them and walk straight down the cellar. There I saw a person trying very hard just to take the sword out of the pedestal. After a minute he gave up and just walk away. Just as the guy was about to touch the hilt of the sword I grab it faster and raise the sword as if normal. I can¡¯t hear anything out of the sword, maybe the soul is not true and the bind is really in me. ¡®I¡¯m true!¡¯ When I heard that voice I look around but didn¡¯t see anyone who talk. I look at the sword in my hand, am I imagining things now? I felt someone gazing at me and when I turn around I saw the people on the line looking at the sword. Well how can they be like that if they saw someone just take the sword like he just forgot something. Once again I ignored them and just walk straight upstairs. When I look to the sound where the ice is forming I saw a brawny guy, topless, I think he wants to show his muscle to the people but how the hell can he withstand that cold. He is carrying a spear that is releasing an unpleasant aura. I stand up stretch my body and just look at the guy without minding the girl again.
