 Creation of gods

    Why was I created....why?¡°Because of one reason Gladius... I was bored"....thatwas the elder gods answer he said it with such a huge grin on his face...like he had no regrets. That¡¯s the first thing I remember about my creation. His grin "well what do I do next" I asked him "whatever you see fit although ill rather you become a guardian for the humans defend them from the various monsters that plague them...that is my preference. However you have the right to choose whichever path you want so long as the humans believe in you, you will continue to exist"


    Apparently I was the 7th god he created .he also created us a city and later on introduced other gods. Including a spirit to maintain oder. This spirit would show up on the earth and destroy a good portion of the earth. And then a hero with a god¡¯s blessing would defeat it, then it would come back to the city of gods...after a while the spirit would take a form of another creature e.g. dragon or giant griffin, then it would go back and destroy a good portion of the earth, Repeating the cycle over and over...even though the humans came first they soon begun to revere the gods that this elder god created some gods chose to co-exist with the humans while others chose to be rulers over them...we were almost omnipotent although the elder god was on a clearly different level than us, The biggest difference being we normally had to sleep every 1000 years to maintain our strength while he didn''t. We got cocky. And overslept in the dimension of rest all we needed were about 20 years and we slept at different times but as times went on we too became bored and we would sleep for longer periods. ¡°taking...taking all these humans wanted was to take from us we thought.....until one specific millennia I went to sleep and when I woke up my powers had not recovered...actually I was in worse shape.


    When I materialized in the city of gods from the dimension of rest. There he was. The elder god just looking at me with that giant grin of his..."what''s happening I asked...why Do I feel this way?" "Simple. You overslept again¡± ¡°he replied" ¡°what¡± ¡°well you see...they don''t need you anymore...you slept when they needed you most and they in turn found a way to survive by themselves. Do you know how many human deaths you caused every time you all stopped going there? The humans went to mountains and prayed for help from their beloved guardians but no one. But the monsters that hunted them came. Even though they named even their cities after you still wanted more from them when you knew they couldn''t do so ¡°when he said this I felt so much guilt. But then I realized I couldn''t sense the other gods nearby..."were are the other gods did they...die? ¡°no they did not they took on human bodies to prevent themselves from losing any more power and went down to earth to live as humans or to be accurate demi god''s at least that''s what some are calling themselves .for me though what makes a god isn''t how much power¡± ¡°I see...then... I will be going as well...i opened a portal ¡°you knew this would happen didn''t you"...i smiled and looked back at the elder god...the elder god didn''t say anything..."well just watch because I will make a name for myself and retain my powers as the 7th god Gladius" I said and walked through the portal that I linked to the city named after me"

 Gladius

    Screams are heard throughout a train station as a mysterious warrior wearing a coat chases a monster through a crowd.


    The monster, a giant humanoid lizard sprints towards the train followed closely by warrior in a red coated.


    The mysterious creature runs full speed through the train station were a train was waiting for people to board it.


    The lizard-man jumps into the air.


    ¡°Golden Chains of Elakrius!!!¡± shouted the red coated warrior.


    Red chains burst forth from underground, destroying the ground around them as they seek to bind the Lizard man who was attempting to lose his pursuer by jumping over the train.


    With a loud THUD the lizard man crashes onto the top of the train creating a huge dent.


    The lizard man screams in rage as the mysterious warrior jumps high into the air and lands on top of the train.


    The warrior strikes a super hero like pose and begins to speak


    ¡°I, Gladius, pass judgment upon you. Be gone from this plain or perish Beast!!!"


    ¡°ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-OOAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRR-RRRRRRRRRR"


    The beast lets out a tremendous roar and responds by snapping the chain it was bound by freeing itself.


    "So be it, I will defend the good people of Gladius"


    The warrior yells as though he is re-enacting the scene of an anime, loud enough to be heard by all the spectators.


    The lizard gets up and takes a deep inward breath, blue embers can be seen gathering inside its mouth.


    It spews torrents of blue fire but the warrior jumps back.


    As the warrior jumps back a Giant sword appears in mid-air. The warrior grabs the Blade and charges at the monster dodging all its flaming attacks by flipping and twisting.


    He finally gets close enough and swings his mystic blade slashing not only the monster but most of the train''s roof in half.


    "Execution complete." said the mysterious warrior as he stood staring at the sky with black hair that looks like he just got out of bed. Under the red coat people noticed that he was wearing bunny slippers and pajamas.


    The warrior looked at the onlookers with a gentle yet proud smile. But¡­


    "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!! AND WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU WEARING!!!" shouted a male a voice from among the onlookers.


    At this point the murmurs of protest began to break out.


    "Oh,¡± the Warrior began while standing atop the train ¡°I probably moved too fast for the mortal eye to see. Um¡­ I was saving you¡­ and you are welcome by the way¡­ be quick I have places to be¡­ I¡¯ll be signing autographs now"


    "SAVING?! MORE LIKE, DESTROYING GOVERNMENT PROPERTY!!!" protested the same male voice from within the crowd.


    *Grrr* ¡°Look here, is that anyway to treat a god", the warrior replied.


    ¡°Haha!!! YOU, a god, my foot, have you seen Celestia from Genesis City. If she said she was a goddess we would believe her or the Enigmas Association secretary Lady Silver.¡± Again that one male voice.


    "haha¡­HAHA!!¡± the warrior makes his laugh twice as long on purpose, ¡°You are mistaken for comparing me to that Celestia chick am far more powerful¡­ and do not even compare me to that tsundere stereo type Silver".

    The cough sent a chill down the self-proclaimed god¡¯s back. Frozen in fear, he realizes that there are two Tall Humanoid Robots and a woman with office attire standing behind him on the train.


    The warrior turns around very slowly and with a nervous laugh speaks to the woman behind him. "Hello¡­ Silver. Well um¡­ How long have you been standing there?¡±


    "Tsundere huh." replies Silver who is clearly not pleased.


    "Ahah¡­ well¡­ you see¡­ That was a joke, yes, that¡¯s right a joke Silver-sama¡­ hehehe" this was his attempt at speaking the language from the country Silver came from. Yes. Gladius was infact¡­ a weeaboo*. The country produced manga and anime which our warrior was a fan of. He believed he would fit in to that country and went there once¡­ When he arrived he begun to look for a subtitle of sorts so he could understand what was being said.


    "Well are you going to explain yourself." Silver spoke interrupting his recollection of the country of Napaj.


    "Well¡­ Silver-oneechan I was simply joking with these wonderful citizens whom I swore to protect. Humans are too complex to be boiled down to labels like tsundere or yandere, hehehehe, and¡­ I definitely wasn''t planning to throw anyone into the sun¡­ definitely not¡­ not at all¡­"


    Silver stands there listening to his excuse with an expression that projects that she is not amused.


    "Weeeeeeelllll then¡­ I¡¯ll be going now good bye my dears.¡± Gladius says as he seeks to make a hasty retreat.


    "Kill yourself!" replies the same male voice in the audience.


    "Ahahaha, very lovely people eh. I see you have upgraded your Exodiums" Gladius nervously looks at the robots. "Anyway¡­ I¡¯ll be going now".


    "Gladius!" Silver shouts to the warrior.


    "Yes Silver-sama."


    ¡°You forgot to pay for damages."


    "Oh¡­ Here is the money." a small piggy bank appears which Gladius smashes with tears in his eyes.


    ¡°There you go.¡± Gladius hands over all the gold coins in it with tears seeking sympathy. ¡°I¡¯m sure all is paid for¡­ with my life savings¡­ and¡­ also¡­ I¡¯ll probably get evicted."


    But he gets no reaction, ¡®She is indeed tsun.¡¯ He thinks.


    At this point the robots with Silver look at Gladius.


    "Um¡­ I¡¯ll be going now.¡± Gladius runs away at full speed leaving a trail of dust behind him.

    Tsundere - in simple terms a Word used to describe girls in Anime that act all Mean towards the main Character but later on begin to act caring.


    *Weeaboo (definition according to the urban dictionary) - A non-Japanese person who basically Mocks other culture''s and calls themselves Japanese. They try to learn Japanese through the anime they watch and usually end up pronouncing it wrong and looking like a complete idiot. (P.S. you can actually learn a language without disrespecting other cultures).

    A Little adorable sister who care''s about her brother more than anything, And would be super happy by getting a pat on the head,Were a lie created for something like a manga.I doubt most mangaka''s who wrote such preposterous things even had any sister''s to begin.I however am not a manga protagonist and is fully aware of the absolute hell spawns that are younger sisters, sure if the age gap is big it wouldn''t be so bad,Unfortunatly me and my sisters age gap wasn''t big at all, i was 16 and she was 14.


    Wait,Why am i having these thoughts?Oh, This child standing right in front of me looking through a shops 3 meter wide window,At some chocolate muffins displayed there, along with other candies was pretty much the most adorable thing i had seen today,And probably the reason i was here,thinking about my sister, Dont get me wrong i have never been a fan of kids,But this kid felt straight out of an anime, like those they called moe characters,A character created specifically to tug at your heart strings,In fact,She was so adorable i forgot about that hero who bumped into me at the train station earlier ,apparently seeing beings with superhuman powers running around has become pretty normal around here.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road.     Mwansa was the type of person who hated too much attention and was easily content as far as high school expectations went, he didn¡¯t want to be very popular or to be the unpopular one and so far everything was going according to plan, till the fateful day when he met Gladius.


    The Time was 16:00 in March on a sunny Tuesday afternoon, just a day had passed after he met the mysterious silver haired girl. But for some reason she kept coming to mind, Mwansa couldn¡¯t understand what was going on and why she had left a long lasting impression ¡°why does she keep coming to mind am I slowly becoming a lolicon , I should probably turn myself in before I do anything weird, yea right my mother would come to prison, not to bail me out but to strangle me to death¡± Mwansa¡¯s mother was the type that had unrealistic expectations of her son,the fact that he managed to get a scholarship to Travel to the Renowned City of Gladius, made her Expectations of what he could achieve More ridiculous ,good as far as positive reinforcement goes, but bad because Mwansa didn¡¯t like the pressure he felt from her Expectations.


    While Mwansa was wondering why the silver haired girl made such an impression. he saw someone in a red coat at the shop were he met Her, it was Gladius the super human he saw fighting a Monster that previous morning, he appeared to be looking for someone, Mwansa was of course shocked, he had seen a superhuman twice in two days, what shocked him even more was when Gladius looked at him he put on a Huge grin and begun to walk towards Him,

    ¡°a god wants you dead so hire me another god protect you¡± these were the words that I suddenly remembered while I was seated on the Table eating my Pizza, The only reason I got myself a Pizza was because I didn¡¯t feel like cooking that day ¡°yea right ,a god wants me dead¡± I shook my head as I put the Pizza box in a plastic bag so I could go throw it outside¡± I saw something on the TV and turned up the Volume they were talking about Celestia, One of the Beings that Resided in the City of Agaran , The TV was showing Footage of a Tsunami that was Headed towards a city, and How she showed up flying to the Scene landing right in front of it, the waves that were over 400 Meters Tall But she stood there Majestically, she suddenly started glowing giving out a Blue aura, and the Great Waters as though Responding and as though the waters had become intelligent .suddenly stopped and started going back to the ocean, ¡°god¡¯s huh¡± I said to myself as I decided it was time I went to throw out the Pizza box. I quickly went down the stairs and went to the back were the trash can was located.


    But then something caught my attention a girl who wore something like a Uniform was standing on top Of a neighboring building looking down on me , She then pointed at me and Begun to say something , Like someone from those old action movie¡¯s but she was too far away for me to get anything she was saying. But then she did something weird she went into a Jumping position.


    And then (slip) she slipped and fell down the Building right into the Yard next to Mine. ¡®Did I just witness a death ¡®I thought to myself and then suddenly I heard her ¡°awww my Phone¡± she was alive!


    I without thinking much stepped on the Trash can which was stationed next to the wall that acted as a boundary Jumped into the next yard. And there she was in a seated position on the ground rubbing her head while looking at her Phone,


    ¡°Are you¡­.okay¡± I wasn¡¯t even sure if that was a question to ask someone who just fell down 5 stories.


    ¡°She looked at me with a puzzled expression and then replied with a smile I¡¯m fine thanks¡±


    She was pretty, she had long dark hair and a typical school girl skirt she had a thick white coat on and some gloves so I couldn¡¯t tell what school she was from she looked about a year or two younger than me. I stretched out my hand to help her get up.


    She held my hand and being a teenager my heart skipped a few beats as she got up with my help.


    But then I noticed something weird the two Dogs that were in this yard were cowering away at a Conner.

The girl then gave me a cold stare then raised her hand, a sword appeared out of thin air, ¡®wait what is this¡¯ I tried to break free with all my strength but the grip she had on my hand. ¡®SHIT WHAT DO I DO IAM GOIN TO DIE¡¯!!!!


    Whoever said Time moves slowly when you are about to die was as accurate as can be.my thoughts went through my head faster than everything including every manga I had ever read in my life was Flashing through my Head at high speeds¡­¡¯wait¡­manga¡¯ . Something like lightning hit the ground next to her. Two Huge Monsters that resembled dog¡¯s appeared were the lightning hit. As for their appearance. Well Picture the biggest dog you have ever seen, Now multiply that by three ,That is how Huge the dogs were The one she called Anubis had dark Smoke around him and the one called Terra had lightning flashing around him/or her I couldn¡¯t tell. ¡°Fetch! ¡°Said the girl.


    I got up and run as fast as I could but Anubis and Terra were gaining ground.


    ¡°Uuuuuuh that was was Ballzy even for me, And the face she put on was priceless!! ¡°I suddenly heard someone say that besides me, it was Gladius.¡±

    ¡°You see when you believe in me to accomplish a task I get stronger¡± continued Gladius.

    ¡°NALA!!!! ¡° Gladius yelled out. Suddenly a something like a portal Made from fire appeared behind him.


    And then a Flaming Tiger walked out it was even Bigger and taller than Gladius, Because of the heat the Tiger was Producing the Tar was Scorched and melted under the Flaming Tiger¡¯s feet. The Tiger Transformed into Flames and then Became a large Sword which Gladius held with one Hand.


    ¡°All right then!!¡± Yelled Gladius as he swung his Massive Blade in front of Him¡± The ground Immediately Cracked with a large ¡°CRGUUM!!¡± at the same time all the Surrounding Building Windows Broke ¡± the Monsters seeing this stopped. The girl arrived running at the scene at the same time.


    ¡°Alright Ladies and not so gentle Monsters if you cross that line¡­¡±


    ¡°I CANNOT GURANTEE YOU WILL LEAVE WITH YOUR LIMBS ¡°said Gladius with a serious cold tone while maintaining a grin.


    ¡°Gladius ¡°she said with an annoyed yet terrified expression.


    ¡°Oh also...¡± started Gladius as he suddenly turned to me with a stupid Smile.


    ¡°I need you to sign here¡± said Gladius as a contract suddenly appeared in front of him.


    ¡°Eh¡± I responded, he ruined that hype Atmosphere he had earlier created.


    The Mystery girl stood there awkwardly as Gladius made me sign on a document.


    ¡°Yes and sign here, and there. Yes, right there...okay...wait ¡°Gladius took out his phone and stared at it for a couple of seconds. ¡°Beep¡±.


    ¡°Alright¡­.NOW!!!¡± Gladius turned to face the opponents, actually were the opponents were, they had left.


    ¡°Oh I guess they left¡±


    ¡°They¡­left ¡°I said as I suddenly became dizzy, and then Darkness, I fainted.

    In the Morning after being done with school preparation¡¯s, I left my Apartment and started walking to the bus station through my quiet neighborhood , however these thoughts that were in my head were making me really uncomfortable, ¡®a god wants to kill you¡¯ ¡°what a strange dream ¡°I said out loud to reassure myself, all that Business with god¡¯s and sword¡¯s wasn¡¯t real, ¡°I am Mwansa a NORMAL teenager who just got into high school ¡°after that I gained more confidence and continued talking to myself ¡°yes indeed I will have a normal fruitful life get good grade¡¯s and enjoy my teen¡¯s to the fullest, and if all goes well hehehehehehe get a girlfriend MWAAHAHAHAHAhaha!!¡± after that little speech I posed for a bit and then looked at my hand, Images of a shocked girl who tried to kill me flashed through my mind ¡±don¡¯t be stupid it never happened¡± I was determined to convince myself no one wants me dead and so far it was going pretty well.


    ¡°girlfriend ey ¡­¡±I suddenly heard a Feminine voice besides me or at least i think I did, I quickly looked around but there was no one there except an orange cat with Black stripes, which kind of made the cat look like a little Tiger, ¡±it was all in my head I guess, that nightmare must have messed me up pretty bad ¡°I resumed walking ¡±hmm¡­.indeed after what you just experienced I guess it is possible you had nightmares after you passed out, care to explain what the nightmare was about¡± said the same voice, but this time I turned to the direction of the voice and once again only the cat was there, the feminine voice was coming from the cat¡¯s mouth, I stood there and paused while looking at the cat, for about 40 sec which felt like eternity, I then looked at my wrist ¡°would you look at the time. I¡¯ll be late if I don¡¯t hurry ¡±after saying that I continued walking, refusing to Even Consider the possibility this cat was talking, yes I was ready to be turned in to the mental institution, than admit a freaking cat had just talked ¡°but it wasn¡¯t going to be that easy the ¡°cat ¡°continued ¡±My name is Nala ¡¯and I was sent by Gladius to watch over you, he left early saying there was a job he had been hired to do ¡°I started walking faster.Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road.
