    1. Unexplainable Events


    He stood up, panting, never wanting to experience the pain he felt. The events that happened was rather unexplainable. He felt pain to the extent. It was very hard for him to take in what happened. He blamed everything on his own very existance, he wanted to die, he wanted to kill himself, he wanted to runaway from the truth.


    He always enjoyed his life and lived his life to the extreme, that is until his mother died. He was around eight years old when that happened. His mother dearest died of an unknown disease. His family took her to some priests who can cure almost all sickness, but the priest and priestess never found any cure. So they left his mother, alone, and died as time passed by.


    Due to this events, his father left his younger brother and older sister.     Their body was full of scars, blood can be clearly seen, and their eyes grew hatred for their father. They hate him, yet they still love him. It was that sort of thing where you love and hate at the same time.


    After what happened hs sister got raped and his little brother got molested by his uncle which suicided after what he did.


    He was on the verge of death, he really can''t take it anymore, he wanted to die, he wanred to run away, so he made a decision. A decision that will clearly end everything.


    He stopped thinking and went to the bridge, the bridge was quite old and a little short to be called one. He looked down and thought of a brilliant plan, he climbed the handels and was about to jump until he was stopped by an old man clad in a robe that has a shade of blue and at the same time black.


    The man in the robe gave of a mysterious vibe and energy. Kyle thought to himself. ''Why did he stopped me? I''m useless anyway''.


    "Your not useless, you complete our society, we need you, you are important." The man in the robe said. "You are strong, I''ve observed you and your family and the events that happened, child, you are strong!


    Kyle believed the man, not because he trusted him but because he was naive that time. In the end the man saved the Kyle and Kyle grew up with courageand dedication to live his life to the fullest.

 2. Strength

    In a world that is dangerous as the wilderness, wars, fights and even more do happen. In this place, one must have power to survive, one must have knowledge to see, and one must have both to conquer.


    This world, namely, Etopia, has a game-like system and even magics. Swords and magic really does make a lot of difference. Although they are both equal in both strength, one must have knowledge to win, one must be smart and wise.


    The magic are divided into two elements, the light and the dark. Everyone has an aptitude in both light and dark, yet they have a certain basic element that they are great at.


    The light element are composed of Holy element and spacial element.The light element are mainly weaker than dark elements, but it doesn''t mean they cannot deal damages. It''s just weaker by a small gap. People who uses or rather has the highest aptitude are called priests, paladin and spacer.


    The dark element are completely opposite of what the light element do. The dark elements has a lot of strength and can deal damages to certain extent. The dark elements are composed of fire, water, air, earth and void. Basically, the use theories can make both sub-elements fuse or change into another sub-element.


    Not everyone can be gifted with magic, but everyone can learn swordmanship. These people are called warriors, they are people that has great physique.


    Now, as time quickly flew by, a a young man, Kyle, is already eight and is now located in the town square where he can clearly see the duel that was happening.


    He sneaked through the crowd and went nearer to the battle. He saw two people fighting, one has a sword and one was wearing a robe that gives bonuses.


    The mage attacked with a Lv. 1 Fireball, with almost no casting time, the crowd was very surprised. The swordsman rebounded and slashed the flame that was directly shotted at him, and as the swordsman went nearer to the mage he slashed his body and decided by the system that the swordsman won.

    The battle quickly elvated and therefore people left.


    "There you are young man, let us return to our home" The mage in the robe said. "By the way, you will start training in magic because I saw your passion in it."


    Kyle smiled as he was really itchy to learn magic. Since he was brought back by the old man here, he wanted to learn wizardry. He wanted to cast those cool fireballs and thunders.


    "Yay!" Kyle said cheerfully. "Then, let''s head home now, Rudeus!


    The old man was named Rudeus, the fact that was wearing a robe was to tell of his'' status as a magician, mage, wizard whatever you may call a person who uses magic.


    The old man went through different hardships when he started his journey. Kyle really looks up on that old man. He''s really strong.


    As they went home they passed they passed through the jungle. Kyle saw lots of monsters, from the weakest to the moderate level.


    When they were inside the forest, Kyle watched the old man fight the creatures, ofcourse he was amazed. Amazed by the fact the he was so strong. He now know what it means to be strong, what it means to have strength and power.


    The weakest they saw was a Lv. 1 Slime, with one kick of the wizard, the slime, itself, was defeated and mocked by Kyle because they we''re weak.


    Once again, Kyle thought of the wonderful things he can do with magic. He sure wanted to cast a fireball and throw it at a weak slime.


    He knew that for starters, he needed to cultivate mana and spread it through his body so that he can gain the "mana" in the status screen.


    Leaving all thoughts behind, they rushed through the forest with ease and now was nearing the house that they lived in.


    The house was rather simple and quite large for a simple old man to have. The exterior design was so plain that he almost barfed at the walls just seeing how lame and uncool it is. But what dawdled him was the interior design.


    Now, what was truly fascinating was the interior. Inside, you can see fancy things hanging around the walls, and there are a lot of relics and artifacts that the old man has that was gathered when he was adventuring.


    He was again amazed. Kyle really has that sort of attitude where he adores almost everyone, well ofcourse except slime. He thinks slimes are weak and fragile.


    Theu went inside and sat on the couch which was fur-coated.


    "Tommorow is the big day Kyle!" Redeus said. "We shall start your training tommorow."


    "Okay!" Kyle said joyfully. "But why now?"


    Kyle asked that question because he was simply curious and needed an immediate explaination.


    "Because, I just found out that you had a very high aptitude to all the dark elements, and since you we''re very passionate about this, I''ve decided to teach you." The man smiled. "Let us celebrate."


    They went to the dining table and ended the day with smiles and laughs on their faces.

 3. Training

    3. Training


    The sun rose to it''s usual place, and emitted it''s radiant waves. As Kyle woke up, he looked outside of the window. Once again, his morning was good as ever, he slept all night with much comfort.


    He was excited. Standing straight and walking away from his bed directed to the kitchen. From where he stood, he saw a shadow figure, it was his old man.


    To his liking, he now shouted with vigor. ¡°OLD MAAAAN! TEACH ME MAGIC!!¡±


    ¡°Let us wait, patience is a virtue, the sun just rose.¡± The old man calmly said. ¡°There''s time for that.¡±


    ¡°Noooo! I wanna learn magic.¡± The youthful fellow demanded. ¡°Why should I wait?¡±


    ¡°Because, when learning magic, one must be dedicated. One must be patient.¡± The old man replied as to tell his soon-to-be student.


    ¡°Again, remember this Kyle, patience is a virtue.¡±


    To his disappointment, Kyle, emitted a gloomy aura. He was very down right now, he wanted to do things that children cannot do. Kyle was a child of course, he wanted to show off in front of the other kids.


    There was a time where he was constantly bullied by the other kids in town. They called him names such as nerd, weakling, and small. These names never signified any of him. He might be a nerd, but at least his smart, he might be weak and small, but its not the truth, he''s strong, he went through different and painful trials before he got there.


    He wanted to be really strong. He wanted to let those kids know how wrong they were when they teased him. He wanted to become someone that gives a dangerous vibe at the same time, someone happy and not scary.


    He didn''t really cried. He never felt crying. He thought to himself. ¡®I''m strong.¡¯

    ¡°Rudeus, how did you became so strong?¡± The youth said in confusion. ¡°Can I become like you?¡±


    ¡°Of course, you can be anyone or anything that you like.¡± Rudeus said warming the heart of the child. Rudeus doesn''t want to put any negative thoughts into the child''s mind. He does not want to destroy his childhood by letting him know more about life''s truth. He wants Kyle to be strong. And so does Kyle.


    An hour passed by as they finished most if their conversations. Rudeus wants to go to the market and buy some herbs that he needs for alchemy.


    They went through different stalls, they looked at the different plants and of course the prices. They chose the cheaper ones, and decided to leave after.


    As they went home, Kyle watched Rudeus do his work about alchemy. He was stupefied of how hard it is to prepare the needed materials. One needed patience and definitely one needed to become diligent, so when working, its efficiency will become higher.


    Another thing, one needs a great and versatile hand. They must know how the hands move. How did Kyle knew this? It was simply because of observing. Just by looking, he instantly became adept to it.


    Time passed by, it was afternoon now, and by that, the time of Kyle''s training had arrived. He was about to create magic and start using it.


    ¡°OLD MAAAAN!¡± Kyle gleefully shouted. ¡°Magic! Now!¡±


    ¡°Okay, calm down Kyle.¡± The old man replied. ¡°Let us go on the backyard.¡±


    They went to the backyard and they both sat under the tree. The sun''s hot gaze was making Kyle sweat with nervousness in his heart.


    ¡°So sit, with both feet under your thighs.¡± Old man Rudeus started the conversation. ¡°Good, good, now, open your palms out on your knee and feel the mana around the air.¡±


    Kyle now felt the mana around the air, and as he felt that, he saw four colors forming in his imaginations.


    One was red, then next to it was blue, after the blue is brown and lastly is silver. With these colors in his mind, he knew exactly that he was gonna be very efficient in using the dark magic. But! As soon as the circle emitted a radiating yellow aura, he was shocked and lost the image he saw. The circle spread through his veins, and went through different parts of his body.


    ¡°Uhhhh¡­¡± Kyle was dizzy, he wanted the pain to stop. ¡°It hurts.¡±


    ¡°Sooo¡­ You succeeded right?¡± Rudeus said. ¡°So what did you saw?¡±


    ¡°Uhh.. Uhhh¡­ OH! OH!¡± Kyle said happily as he remembered what he just saw. ¡° There were four colors, it was all of the dark main elements and when the bubble-like shaped formed, it gave off a yellow aura.


    ¡°WHAAAT?!¡± The old man said in disbelief. ¡°You''re serious right?¡±


    ¡°Yes.¡± Kyle said calmly.


    ¡°Okay¡­ as you can see, your mana in your status window is now available, and because of your mana forming, you can now clearly see all of the hidden features in the status window.¡± The old man Rudeus said in a cool tone. ¡°Now open your status window and tell me of it''s information.¡±

    Kyle told of its content and shocked Rudeus. Rudeus was shocked because of how high his stats already came to be. His mane pool was high that it was doubled if compared to a new mage.


    ¡°So, you really have high intelligence and a great physique huh?¡± Rudeus said and he was clearly jealous of his high starting status. ¡°GREAT! Start your fireball! As you touch this book, this will burn to ashes and you will learn the spell.¡±


    Kyle casted his first spell, the fireball, which is a Lv. 1 spell. Although one of the weakest, it still does great damage to new magic users and ordinary people.


    The day went off with Kyle fasting fireballs through the Adamantine crystal which was really expensive and cant be burned by Lv. 4 spells and lower spells.
