I was mad from the start but, I have I let it go as God has plans for everything, I was also glad that it was a quick death and not a painful one. I wanted to cry *huhuhu* for all reincarnation, why a tadpole? Why can¡¯t I be a dragon, or spider, or other reincarnated monster. *sigh* What happened cannot be undone now, I just need to take it seriously and survive this nightmare. I closed the status screen and I noticed that on the top left corner of my sight I saw Health Points/HP (green), Mana Points/MP (blue), and Stamina Points/SP (yellow) gauge. It really was like a game, but I can¡¯t seem to see any mini map or other game features. Let¡¯s leave it at that and better escape from this egg. The egg where I am was at least 3 times bigger than me, and was filled with fluid like water but it was denser I think. As I¡¯m not a human anymore, having a different body was hard for me to adjust. It was a lot harder when just using force but this time let¡¯s try something different, I swim close to the shell and start to bite my way out of it. I turn around and there was a cluster of frog eggs, some of my brothers and sisters were now starting to come out of the egg. *SSSHHHHUUUU* *BLOB* *BLOB* *BLOB* With only a second, the cluster of eggs were taken away by from large fish monster and clouds of dirt were now spreading across the area. I quickly swim away and look for a place to hide under the bottom of a large rock. *pant* *pant* *pant* ¡°That was so close, if I was a few seconds late I would be fish food.¡± *pant* *pant* this place is really dangerous. Catching my breath, and restoring my stamina, I look around for food. How should I gain level if I¡¯m this weak and there¡¯s a ton of strong monster here? *sigh* I can¡¯t understand how tadpoles survive in real life, while I was deep in my thoughts; I suddenly felt a strong current of water. I moved deeper inside the bottom of the rock, and looked at where the current was coming. I looked up and there were two monsters fighting, a large fish with a lot of fins and a lizard? No it was more like a snake with six pairs of feet. The snake lizard was a bit on a disadvantage because of its thin body. But it has a weapon of its own; it was spilling a purple cloud like an octopus, but the monster fish caught its neck and with a snap, the head of the snake like lizard sink to the bottom with its body. It¡¯s been 10 minutes since the battle was over but no monster have even taken a nip from the corpse *I wonder why, maybe its poisonous.* I¡¯ve waited and waited, but I can¡¯t find any small insect that I can eat or other death monster. I was too afraid to go out of my hiding spot, I know that being a Ghost Tadpole will help me survive, but what if some monsters can detect movements? *sigh* *ughhh, I¡¯m getting hungry by the minute, and it seems that my HP losses 1 point.* I tried to slowly come outside of the rock, and then move back again. I rest for a bit until my body recovers some HP. After 15 minutes, I then start to eat the mucus which was absolutely delicious but deadly, my Sharp Teeth, Body Comprehension, Paralysis, and Poison Nullification leveled up and I took some break when my HP was below 50%. I repeat this routine until I can reach the skin. An hour passed from repeating the whole routine of, eat, rest and restore. But finally I¡¯ve reached the skin of this monster, it was hard as the muscle becomes stiff, but it was not a problem for having a [Sharp Teeth] at level 3. Gaining some status points, I noticed that eating will restore Stamina in the process. Resting inside the huge corpse, I start to think since I¡¯m safe inside this poisonous monster. I wonder what purpose should I live for, should I quickly evolve and get out of this place, should I get stronger, and will I just be a frog after evolution? I want to use magic as well, how about being human? I¡¯m sure magic will solve anything, but I need to first learn basic magic. But for now let¡¯s just sleep for a bit, having a full stomach really gets you to be sleepy. -END- Chapter 2 – The Chase Chapter 2 ¨C The Chase oOo Waking up from the feeling of waves at the bottom of this lake? I think, hmmm something was strange, it was the feeling of my body, I know that I¡¯ve grow a little bigger but there is something more. I . . . I got arms and legs!!! Then something took my attention, it was something delicious I looked around to find the taste. And I was successful finding it, it was a green plant with like seaweed and it seems to have orange fruits. I moved closer and closer, and was surprised that the orange fruits were nothing less but bugs eating the plant. I think they don¡¯t have much awareness as they didn¡¯t even move a muscle when I got close, they just ate and ate. My skill was telling me that it was still dangerous, so I have the feeling that it has decided to pursued me. I took a quick glance at my back and there were 2 more insect like crab who joined the chase*I don¡¯t know what to call this monster, wish I had the appraisal skill*. Ahhh this is gross, *fuck my life* moving through the esophagus gives me the chill. I tried biting to hold on and choke this guy but I failed as he keeps drinking more water, *arrghhh how much water do you need? And then it started, I was waiting for the liquids in its stomach to be drained, but I was wrong. It just produces acid little by little, and I¡¯m now taking the effect. I can recover from using the parasite skill but, I¡¯m getting full now. I tried to vomit but it seems to be impossible for me. *ding* | Adaptability - Acid Resistance ¨C helps to reduce the deterioration effect on the body.| Thanks to this skill, it reduces the damage from the acid, but it¡¯s steadily reduces my HP slowly. I got pushed down to the bottom of its stomach, but I¡¯m thankful that the acidity level was once again neutralized. After the insides were calm, I quickly suck some blood to regenerate my health. *Haha so you¡¯re a crybaby when your stomach was hurting a little huh.* After recovering some of my health, *I cannot fully recover because I¡¯m full right now* I think for another plan for escaping. I can¡¯t waste my time sucking up blood, then bite his stomach for him to drink some water, what if he just endured it then what? I¡¯ll just get digested at the end. And the second option to exit the other end was a NO NO! . . When I looked at it, I got the feeling of being proud to my new self. Next I examined my body and thanks to my [Body Comprehension] I don¡¯t need to adjust from having a new body. My size was at least 5 to 6 times bigger from my tadpole body, and I finally got some arms? *I think, but close enough* I have small claws from four of my fingers, a slightly bumpy but shiny dark red skin, and a tail. A tail that still looks like from a tadpole, but I¡¯m sure has its purpose for swimming. ¡°NOW LET¡¯S TRY TO BRING THIS FUCKER DOWN.* Using my claws, I climb to the stomach walls to get up high, and away from the acidic water. I then used the skill [Toxic Mucus], the mana usage was 1 point, I can¡¯t really say the measurement but it took 15 MP to cover my entire body and made my eyes so blurred. After that, I shook it off of my body so that it will get digested. The stomach made a strange movement. . . *clowb* *clowb* *clown* ¡°HAHA it¡¯s working, the poison is working.¡± But that¡¯s not enough, using my claws to greatly stick myself to the walls of the stomach; I made sure that ever points of my claws were reaching piercing its soft stomach. Then I used [Poison Alchemy ¨C Toxic Newt¡¯s Poison], a blood like liquid excretes all over my body including my claws. I can hear monster¡¯s pain and agony, and it¡¯s seems to be moving on a fast phase. *I don¡¯t care if you move, I will surely kill you.* A few seconds went by, it then starts to swallow up water again. The stomach was now full of water, but I will stop to produce my natural poison until I got to 30 MP remaining points. It was slowing down as every second passed, my Mp was at 42 at this point, it feels like this guy will eventually die so I tried to swim up at the esophagus, and crawl my way up to the mouth. When I got to the mouth, it was open so I quickly swim to get out of this disgusting cave shit. I was impressed on how fast I swim, but i was shocked when I looked at the monster that swallowed me. It was a huge turtle, with rock like skin. *No wonder I mistook it for a cave* It was very weak and its red eyes was starting to get cloudy. For a second I felt pity for this monster, but it tried to digest me so. . I¡¯m sorry, I¡¯ll try not to kill your kind again in a horrible way, as long as your kind won¡¯t eat me. ¡°But who will ever try ea. . . . *GULP* -END- Thank you for reading ^^. . . Chapter 5 – The shadow Chapter 5 ¨C The shadow oOo *pant* *pant* That damn fish swallowing me after I¡¯ve just escaped being swallowed, but thanks to my [Toxic Mucus] skill, and [Poison Alchemy] I easily made it spit me out of its mouth. I now only have 10MP left, my head feels a bit heavy, *so this was the feeling of having a mental fatigue huh.* *ding* *ding* |Leveled up two times| |From killing a Baby Mossy Rock Tortoise you¡¯ve gained seven levels.| *whoa that¡¯s something new.* So the first leveled up was from the fish I guess, and that turtle was still a baby? It¡¯s mother would be so big, I can¡¯t imagine. With the total of gaining 9 levels at the same time, I felt something warm inside my body as it gets lighter for me to move. *The feeling of power, it¡¯s an amazing feeling, I might get addicted to it.* ¡°Better look for some place to rest.¡± I looked around and it wasn¡¯t the familiar surrounding that I¡¯m used to, it was still dark and the water was a bit shallow. I swim to the top of the water, and looked around. It noticed that I was only in a pond and not a late,*well sorry, it was so damn big for me.* the entire place has a gloomy atmosphere, most of the trees were already read and there was a thin mist all around as my eyes can see. *it¡¯s like a place from a horror mov. .* *ding* |Fear Nullification raised a level| *ow, shut up will you!* It¡¯s just normal to be scared, because I¡¯m not accustomed to this world. Being in a strange place all by myself was truly a horrific experience, but thanks to my skill again [Fear Nullification], it helps me to even move a muscle. *sigh* I swim back to the bottom of the pond; I think that I¡¯m not prepared to venture on the lands. I¡¯ll hunt some fish; no I¡¯ll hunt the insect like scorpions to get some revenge. *yup let¡¯s do that* After resting, and hunting monsters in this pond. I finally got some revenge, and now they¡¯re all scared of me. *I wonder if I¡¯ll get something like a King of the Pond title hahaha that would be lame.* I think I¡¯ve saw all the monsters in this pond, from insects, frogs and tadpoles, fishes, turtles, leeches, and many more weird insects. *sigh* With all of my efforts and a lot of resting, I manage to raised my level by 4 including the help of the [Bottom Feeder] skill, but at least they helped me learn a lot in combat. This is truly a hardcore game if you ask me; leveling is so hard for this level. *sigh* So leveling in a reality is this hard, or maybe their level was just lower than mine. I¡¯ve grown strong from this past few 3, or 4 days maybe. I forgot to count the days *to be honest, I just don¡¯t know.*, let¡¯s leave it at that. Looking at my status makes me happy for some reason, I¡¯ve now survive from being a baby tadpole, I was even happier that I can evolve into something else. It¡¯s thanks to my Adaptability skill that I can do such a thing, but my evolution was related to thing I do and eat, like being a newt for the first place. Maybe it came from the first thing I ate, the snake like lizard thing? Maybe it was some kind of newt in this world, and the other leech like evolution was from me having the [Parasite] title. *So does this mean, I can evolve to something like a wolf if I ate wolf like monster? Or have wings if I ate monsters with wings? Or maybe become something similar to a Dragon? Whoa!! Thinking that could happen is amazing!! Then if I ate human? Will that makes me similar to a human? Or the best question is will I be a monster and do that?* ¡°I think I can¡¯t do that, eating human is like throwing away the humanity within me, and I will never do that. It¡¯s better off to be an ugly monster rather than eat human to become one or even close.¡± After a lot of thinking, I came near the land, the air was not so fresh but I missed the feeling of breathing air. When I got near the land I imitated something like the first man to walk onto the moon, ¡°Hooo!! I quickly turned around and there, from the hole of a dead tree were three red pair of eyes, *haha tree wee three* they slowly come out of the hole and saw that it was a rat. No it¡¯s a rat with two heads, one eye and one nose on each head, and a large mouth with black sharp teeth. *yup just one* *uuucckkk, your one ugly, no three ugly sons of a BITCH!!DAMN!! or is it six? Because of the heads?* The ugly rat in the middle was the largest; their bodies were hairless and were colored black. And if you compared my size to them, they¡¯re like 3 to 4 times my size. They all keep hissing on me like a snake, can¡¯t even describe the noises they¡¯re making *jeez*. *why does all the weak monsters should be rats, baby spider, slimes, rabbits? It got me thinking.* [Danger! ! ! !] Ahh shit, I dazed out for a while. One of the small ugly shitty rats attacked me and was trying to bite me, but thanks to my status I jumped out of the way by using my tail. *moving on land is much easier than in the water, because the water keeps restraining your movement. Hmmm water is a good training for the body. .* [Danger! ! !] Another one had come, and was easily dodge. It seems like the big ugly one was not even moving a muscle, was it like a boss ordering his goons to catch? Or it¡¯s like a mother teaching her ugly son of a bitch rats to catch pray. *dodge* *why do I need to always talk, let¡¯s just get serious.* Keeping a good distance from the ugly rats, I created a ball of [Toxic Mucus] mixed with [Poison Alchemy ¨C Newt¡¯s Poison] on the tip of my tail, and waited for the ugly ass rat to attack. I let out a roar to intimidate them, *no it sounded more like a weak *sssshhhhaaa* and it somehow made the ugly rats giggle. I don¡¯t know how to describe it, but I¡¯m sure that they¡¯re making fun of me. I quickly toss the mucus ball, and it only hit the foot of one rat. The rat that was hit was not happy anymore, I throw another one but it missed. The rat didn¡¯t even dodge, *I need some practice, I¡¯m a noob!!* the ugly rat was about to attack me, but its leg somehow can¡¯t move, and its face was saying that it was in pain. The second rat pounced at me, I was thinking that I¡¯ll throw the mucus in its mouth, but it was fast and I didn¡¯t know it will die instantly from my poison. I just dodge to the side, and quickly throw a mucus ball at it. Its back end got hit, and it was slowly getting red and a bit swollen. It let out a loud scream of pain, *who¡¯s laughing not bitch ass ugly rat?* I noticed that the first rat was running towards me, but it was slow as it cannot used the poisoned leg. *it was quite funny to be honest Hahaha*, I prepared a mucus ball, and when it got close, it showed its big mouth to be which I quickly gave a poison. ¡°You were hungry so I just gave you what you deserve.¡± Only their scream killed the silence, it was like music to my ears. The first rat was now shaking and blood was coming out of its mouth, the second one can¡¯t move the half of its body. I gave it another shot of my poison, and this time I hit it on its head. [Warning !!!] I looked to the side, and . . . . *SMASH!!* I was late, I forgot about the big one, I got hit at the side of my body and was propelled while rolling on the ground. My body was a little stiff, and I¡¯ve received a lot of damage from it (HP: 98/151). When I looked at the big one, the end of its tail was like a rock, no it is a rock. *and it hurts really bad.* I quickly used [Body Regeneration] to heal my damaged body; I also covered my body with a thin mucus, and throw random mucus ball all around me. The big ugly rat got confused but its anger towards me was increasing for every minutes as it hears cry of a dying comrade. My plan was to make a deadly mine with the mucus ball that has more potent poison, and . . . The ugly big rat runs toward me while evading the mucus on the ground. I gathered my strength and quickly dodge, but my body still hurts from the damage that I took. It swings its tail again, and I was grazed by it, I expect that my poison will not work at its tail. So my plan was to spread the mucus that I randomly have thrown. I run around like connect the dots ^^ and the mucus was the dots, it also helps me to slide on the ground while producing more poisonous mucus. The rat was more confused and start to chase me all around, it was getting desperate to kill me and didn¡¯t noticed that it was stepping on my poison. But somehow, it was not affected like the other ugly rats. Its feet were just a bit red, and not even swollen, it must have a skill for resisting poison. With my first plan not working, I need to do another method, it was still chasing me around so I decided to flip to the air using my tail but it jumped and grabs my tail with its mouth. I felt an intense pain at the tail, but I grabbed it¡¯s body with my claws. *tud* We felt to the ground, and I was on top of him. *UUGGGHHHHH!!* it was starting to grind my tail with its teeth, but I gave back the favor of injecting it with poison, while covering myself with mucus. With its mouth full of mucus, poison and my blood, I was expecting that it will die instantly, but it never did. I felt my tail being cut, the pain was unbearable *of course it is, a body part being cut off without anesthesia is a horrible feeling.* and my HP was reduced by 20 points. ¡°Fucking ugly rat I¡¯m going to kill you. The king of the pond will never be killed by the likes of you!!¡± I scratch its body, but it suddenly roll around to shake me off, but I used [Bite] and such its blood. *I really don¡¯t want to do this, I don¡¯t want to drink a fucking dirty blood, but I can¡¯t let my health go down to zero from taking damage.* it keeps on rolling and I¡¯m taking more damage than I can recover, so I *fucking* inject a lot of poison before letting go, and use [Body Regeneration] for my wounds and my tail. ¡°You ugly mother fucking rat, just die already!!¡± I need to think of a plan to finish this rat, I noticed that I was slowly getting weaker and weaker, but I don¡¯t have much many left, all I can do now is to use the mucus on the ground and coat my claws with it. Without I chose, I got impatience and was the first one to attack, its claws reach my body first, but I endured it and bite to anywhere I can sink my teeth at and it was the neck. I gave it all the slash I can give, but I was thrown away using its front feet like hands. *tud* *tud* It cried so loud and was having a hard time to walk, but it somehow got in front of me. I cannot move my body because of the damage I¡¯ve taken from its last attack. Blood was now flowing out of my lower body, and it has a weird sticky feeling *hahaha why do I even think of other thing, I¡¯m about to die here haha.* my consciousness was starting to fade away, as I saw its mouth closing towards my head. *ughhh your breath smells disgusting, fucking shit!!*. So that¡¯s why, I¡¯ve raised 4 levels. I looked around me and there was nothing but me and the slimy ground. *where the hell was the corpses*, I was getting hungry. I walked on fours and looked around, my tail was also back and I don¡¯t have any more wounds. My [Body Regeneration] can only regenerate body parts, including healing wounds, but the damage was still there, that¡¯s why my body still felt heavy. I also can¡¯t see any notification screens from gaining four levels. I noticed that there were trails for my mucus to the side, so I followed it. Then I remembered what happened before I blacked out. There was huge long shadow, and when I compared the tracks, it¡¯s similar to a snake crawling on sand *that kind of track*. ¡°So it¡¯s probably a snake type monster, I need to be careful.¡± It was not long when I found a dead body of a huge snake; it must have died from eating three rats with my poison. When I came closer, it suddenly moved, I got startled and quickly threw mucus balls with poisons to its eyes and mouth. *ha* *ha* *I thought it was dead. Fucking hell!!* The snake was probably dying, but I think it shouldn¡¯t get killed by my poison as it also has poison. I walk around it, its head has scales like horns, and its body was covered with thick scaled. But there was something that caught my attention, I didn¡¯t noticed it at first because I didn¡¯t saw it but when I walked around the snake, there¡¯s a huge wound on its body, and a large bite marks. *this place is really scary* If it was another snake, it wouldn¡¯t make those marks and I¡¯m sure it would swallow it¡¯s pray. I can¡¯t remember any monster from the games I¡¯ve played from my past life, a wolf? a zombie dog? A bear maybe? Monsters are always base on ordinary animals, but there¡¯s a lot of monsters that can do this, I just hope I won¡¯t be meeting stronger monsters here a lot. *ding* |Leveled up 3 times from killing a Lesser Normal Baby Draco Ground Snake| *what the fuck is this long ass name?!!* So it¡¯s a Lesser?* like a low rank I think* Normal Baby Draco? * I don¡¯t know what a normal is, but Baby Draco, it¡¯s a baby dragon?!! What? Dragons this early,* and I¡¯ve passed over the level cap, evolution can wait, I want to eat its meat. I start to eat from the huge sound, the scales were very hard to even break so I didn¡¯t bother to try and bite it again. *nom* *nom* *nom* I ate and ate, until my stomach is full and my SP and rest to recover my Hp and MP to full. From eating the meat of this draco snake, I¡¯ve learned the poison that it was using and was added to my list. I was lucky that this entire time, no other monster was attracted to the smell of blood. So I just enjoy eating it, and resting under a nearby rock, and do the process until I cannot eat anything. From the skill of [Bottom Feeder] I manage to gain two more levels, and some skills leveling up (Voracity is now Lvl 5, Sharp Teeth at 6, poison nullification at 5, acid resistance at 6, paralysis nullification at 5, and body comprehension at 4) and I proceed to the evolution. |Evolution Options : Young Adult Hemo Toxic Newt , Diseased Hemo Venomous Newt, Undead Lizard, Opious Venom Lizard(New Species), Rock Armored Lizard.| ¡°So many options like the last one. Let¡¯s just examine them first.¡± The Young Adult Hemo, was the same and just bigger. *What the Fuck is a Diseased Hemo Venomous Newt?! I don¡¯t want to be diseased!* this must came the rats, I don¡¯t want that shit. Next one was a Undead Lizard, sure being an undead has many advantages, but what about the sunlight, I don¡¯t want to be inside a cave or dungeon forever. I also want to go to places day or night. *Hmmm let¡¯s see the New Species, new species are always unique and strong.* |Opious Venom Lizard ¨C a new species or lizard that has a lizard like body, and with a head like snake. This monster can smell blood from 5 kilometers in radius using its snake like tongue. This lizard can grow as big as a Lesser Dragon, depending on its meal, the more it grows the powerful it becomes. This monster is also sensitive to heat, and can see very clear at night.| *hmmm, I don¡¯t know, but this sounds powerful, but the thing about being large, I don¡¯t want to be the size of an elephant, and a Lesser Dragon what is that? A low level dragon? A small dragon? A weak dragon?* Someone needs to give me an explanation with this one, *still waiting of an appraisal type skill.* now for the last evolution. |Rock Armored Lizard ¨C a big type of lizard, that has an armored like scales that were made from rocks, the rocks are a hard defense that¡¯s connected to the bone which can be regrow. It has four powerful legs with sharp claws, and a tail that are covered entirely with rocks with a tip that can be manipulated in different shapes and size for attacking.| The opious *what kind of name is that? Is that even a word?* anyway, the opious venom lizard was a bit more tempting, it can become so strong just by eating and I¡¯m just good at that. But the second one was also good. It took me 30 minutes of thinking what to be, but I made up my mind and this will be it. ¡°Let¡¯s do the evolution!!!¡± -END- Thank you for reading. . . Chapter 7 – 2nd Evolution Chapter 7 ¨C 2nd Evolution oOo I closed the evolution screen and moved to a much safer place for evolution, there was a hollowed log so I went inside and block the holes with mucus. When everything was in place, I start the evolution. It was the same like the last one, but as my consciousness was starting to fade away. The bottom of log where I was crack opened, and stones were starting to cover my entire body. The moment I¡¯ve woke up I was no longer in the log; it was like a cocoon made of from rocks. |Evolution process complete ¨C Rock Armored Lizard - all attributes gained an additional 50 points. All skills will gain a level.| |New skills acquired through evolution: [Rock Armor] scales made out of rock that are connected to the bones, these rocks are as strong as the bones and can be shed at will, and will be replaced by new ones. This is a passive skill but will require SP for replacing the shed scales.| |Eragal Magic : one of the basic elements of magic, the ability to manipulate the land with your will using mana.| *AN: I used Eragal instead of Earth magic, because Earth is another planet/land. You got my point, this world is Eragal. It¡¯s just the same.* |Adaptability ¨C Armor Modification ¨C from gaining Eragal Magic, the user can now manipulate its armor through will. Rock Armor will also gain a bonus effect to adapt: by consuming rock/minerals, the consumed mineral will be absorbed by the bones and will be transferred to the armor, making it stronger or even change its molecular structure.| *WOW!! Modifying the scales on my head, I made two large horns and large spikes around the neck area. To the body, legs and tail, I grow another two curled spikes on each scales making it three spikes per scale that looked similar to a saw teeth. Lastly the end point of my tail, I made it like a spear head with a very sharp edge, and at base of the spear head, I made the spikes larger. It looks like a spear with ball and spike from the medieval times. I moved around to make some adjustments, so that my new body will be flexible and has its full potential for mobility. ¡°Yes!! It¡¯s done; I looked more like a dragon than a lizard. *0*¡± Second I used [Eragal Magic], *compared to games, and manga, they always have ¡°Earth Magic¡± even though they¡¯re not on Earth anymore, and the planet was even a different planet. But anyway this planet seems to be Eragal, and Eragal magic works the same way as ¡°Earth Magic¡± from games.* had enough of talking to myself, I first try to raise the ground, from a small piece of rock and advancing to bigger rocks. The usage of mana will be different to what the size of it, what the shape, making it more detailed will consume a little more mana, and what do you do with it. The experiment was exciting but I¡¯ll rest and do more experiment, and to raise its level. My mana restoration was a bit faster than last time, because of my Intelligence gaining a few bonus points. After I¡¯ve fully recovered my mana, I used all of my past skill, like Bite, Toxic mucus up to poison alchemy, I¡¯ve even combined the newt¡¯s poison and the snakes poison. *but I didn¡¯t gain a new skill, but I¡¯m guessing that the effect of the two will be combined.* Everything was still working even though I have a different body from before. Now let¡¯s skill grind my [Eragal Magic]. . -END- Chapter 8 – Stupid Decision Chapter 8 ¨C Stupid Decision oOo I got carried away from using *cause it was amazing*, that I didn¡¯t notice how much time had passed. A few more minutes of walking, I smelled something unpleasant. The odor was so disgusting similar to a dead rat, but being a curious monster that I was, I followed the smell and I end up at a swamp. There were green mist, and mossy dead trees, and some grass plants. *I¡¯m sure this was the place, uuucckk will I encounter zombie here? The smell was now much stronger, the smell in this place were like dead rat, spoiled milk, rotting food, and other shitty smell.* Fuck this place.* I went around the swamp to investigate *I am not going to that polluted shit swamp*, trees. . trees. . more trees and a big hill with holes?!? It entered the hole and I heard a loud noise. *WOOOAAARR* *woooaaarrr* *wwooooooaaarrr* With every second, the noises were becoming louder and louder, and seems like it was not coming from a single monster. *WWWWOOOOOAAAARRRR* A thing came out from the hole where I sent a rock, it was. . it was. . . it was one hell of an ugly demonic ass frog. It was so big even at a far distance; it has a round body, with two big eyes and more eyes all over the body. Its skin was yellowish green and was like a human flesh that was decaying. *so that¡¯s why it smells in here* its legs were big and has web feet, there were even green and purple liquid coming out from its eyes. *I wish I don¡¯t have a nightmare from this ugly ass frogs.* Many more ugly frogs came out and were looking at the surroundings looking for something, *yup it¡¯s probably me*. I was currently lying on the ground filled with rocks, this was a simple camouflage but the stupid frogs kept looking around. A frog was coming closer at me, so used [Eragal Magic] and manipulated the rocks far from its side, and shoot it to the incoming frog. It was a rock that shaped like a spear, the stupid ass frog¡¯s head was penetrated from the side. *it should have many eyes? Why didn¡¯t it saw it coming?* *Kuwak* It made a weak sound and then falls to the ground. Some of its kind moved to the position where I fired the rock spear *I guess they¡¯re not that stupid*, they are now on my far right with 3 ugly frog looking for the culprit. I used my magic and impaled them with another rock spear; they were now squirming and making irritating noises. The other frogs came to help, but I made the spears grow thorns to finish them off. Four frogs down, and . .*one, two, three. . I forgot to count them.* another 15 more. I manage to gain 1 level from killing the four frogs; I stayed hidden and rest to regain some mana. The frogs were now, shooting acids around the place where the spear came from but nothing. The dead trees were now melting; no it¡¯s more like decaying on a fast phase. *is that poison? I want that, but I would never eat those frogs just to get that poison. Fuck those ugly frogs.* My stomach was now killing me, *I¡¯m so hungry right now.ughh!! Better kill those guys fast. I don¡¯t want to eat them but, I want to see if I can kill all of them, for experience* Crawling near to the frogs on my right, the close distance will help me to reduce the consumption of mana. There were 5 frogs closed by so I tried to impale them, but I only got 3. The other 2 frogs were more cautious and they jumped high in the air, to evade being impaled by my rock spears. From up above, they noticed my appearance and start shooting me with acid goop. I quickly dodge and returned them the favor with spears, being on midair was a disadvantage and a big mistake. The two frogs dropped dead, as the other frogs screams in anger. Six frogs started to run towards me while the remaining four start spiting at me. *disgusting* I evaded the incoming goop, one at a time and using the spikes at my tail. I used [Eragal Magic] and sent two rock spears, one to its body and another to its head. It kicked the first one on midair, but the other one pierced its shoulders. Some acid goop explodes from the impact to the ground and I got some off it on me. My rock armor was not decaying; it was my flesh, the fluid goes through the small gap of my scales and into my flesh, the rock armor on my tail were starting to fall off. *shit!!* *BOOM* I manipulated the rock spear to explode, another one dead, but some part of my body was in pain. The frogs from afar were not shooting any more acid goop, maybe because of the distance. I made a roar, *because it¡¯s cool, just kidding.* but there was no effect, I was expecting them to get scared because I¡¯ve killed a lot of them, but now they¡¯re just jumping towards me very fast. Why would it even be triggered by. . *UUUKKKKRAAAAA!!!* The large fluffy bunny suddenly changes its appearance from cute to a nightmare monster. Its fur becomes so black, claws were starting to immerge from its paws and a large gapping mouth that can even swallow me whole. These three poisons are deadly and have their own unique characteristics. Gathering a mouthful of the combined poisons, I spit it out to the bunny which got slashed by its other claw. Another batch of poison got into its arms, and this time it felt it. Because I didn¡¯t have the appraisal skill I don¡¯t know what the names of the monster that I¡¯ve encountered *like seriously when will I get the appraisal skill? Shhheessshh!! Making up names for this ugly ass monster is tiresome.* First I encountered a pack of Demon Wolves, has a thin body with long legs, a red fur with lines coming from its snot to the tail. Black hollowed eyes, sharp claws and teeth, and three horns. There were a total of six of them, they¡¯re fast, but they only manage to damage my rock armor. I cannot catch up with their speed, but I got them when I modified my armor to be much sharper and covered it with poison. It first tried to spit some poison on me, but it has no effect. *not even 1 point of damage -_-* But compared to the demonic wolves it was much faster, then it coils around me, and tries to crush me with brute force. I was deprived of my movements, so I used my [Toxic Mucus] reinforced with my poisons. It did take a while, but then it slowly released me and even tried to run away. I impaled its body with rock spears; I didn¡¯t expect that the paralysis will affect it. *but it somehow did, a little I guess* bones were starting to show out from its body as it¡¯s rock armor was slowly falling one at a time, it no longer moves. So I start to devour it. After I ate, I made a burrow using [Eragal Magic]. I hardened the walls and the cover so that it wouldn¡¯t collapse on me, then I sleep for a bit. oOo *boom* *crrrkk* *boom* *ccrrrk* I woke up because the ground was shaking and the loud noise hurts my lizard ears. I opened a hole on my burrow, and looked around. Nothing was there, not even my [Threat Sentient] was giving me alarm. *it must be far from here, but what could it be?* Cannot bring myself back to sleep, I got up to the ground and looking at my burrow for a second, an idea came into my mind. I made the burrow much deeper and bigger. It¡¯s maybe about 15 square meters *I think*, then I filled the bottom with spikes that were covered with poison, after that I covered it with a very thin sheet of hard soil. I leave my trap, and continued to roam around. I always put the same trap if there was enough space to the ground; I think this will be a great way to catch some food. I wonder if I¡¯ll get experience points from killing a monster indirectly. After killing more rats, snakes and wolves, I found something interesting. I quickly leaped far back using my tail. A bunch of needles got pinned on the ground. I sent my remaining spears, but it just took it. I was sure that the poison should take care of it, but I was wrong. Its fur was so thick and hard, and it somehow had a characteristic to resist liquid, because I saw my poisons dropped to the ground. *it¡¯s like a water proof material* I don¡¯t know how it works, but it has a perfect defense for my poison, the only way to defeat it will be the holes on its body. *eyes, nose, ears etc.* The needle bear starts to run toward me, while shooting black needles at the same time. I created a thick rock wall to defend from the needles, and move to the side. The bear smashed through the wall with ease, and its black fur started to glow. *I don¡¯t know what it is but it looks dangerous* I quickly spit at him, and create another rock wall. *BOOM* The rock wall was smashed into pieces as some small rocks flew to the surrounding. It was so fast and I can¡¯t even react that fast enough, I tried to dodge it but it still hits my body. I received a little damage as my stone armor was destroyed by the powerful lightning attack. *boom* *boom* *boom* A barrage or attacks were coming. oOo Let¡¯s train some more, and grind skills. I hope to encounter more monsters here. Another two more levels and it would be another evolution. Better keep on killing more monsters. Hmmmm let¡¯s try that one. -END- Chapter 12 – Another Chance to Evolve Chapter 12 ¨C Another Chance to Evolve oOo Here I am back at the entrance to the next floor, it took me about two days to go around and explore the current floor, and I only gained 1 level. Well I didn¡¯t kill that much monster this time, it seems that they¡¯re afraid of me for some reason. *cause I¡¯m strong ^^* Through my exploration, I noticed that this floor was separated into different territories; the center was the swamps which were inhabited by the smelly demon frogs, giant insect dragonfly, and some giant newts. A little bit below the swamp was the pond which I came from, and it¡¯s a place for weak monsters. Then further south will be the entrance to the lower floor, southwest are for the snakes and rats, the southeast is where the wolves and bear. For the northwest it is home for the dead woods, they are just walking dead trees. They sure are hostile but, when I cut down 20 of them, they all just keep a safe distance away from me. The northeast was the best of all; it was inhabited by the tree turtles, they¡¯re huge turtles that were basically a tree inside a rock shell. Their feet were made out of roots, different fruits grow from they¡¯re shell, and they only attack if you are hostile to them, what they eat was only corpses of dead monsters; they use their root feet to suck nutrients and not their mouths. Mostly wolves attack them, but they are strong enough to defend themselves. I also fined the door to the upper floor, but it was close, which means that, no one has ever been here before. *I wonder if the humans in this world were that weak, or this dungeon was never been discovered.* I tried searching for the boss of this floor but I didn¡¯t have the chance, but there¡¯s a place I haven¡¯t explored much. It was the middle of the swamp. All I did was to go around the swamp, and I¡¯ve never been at the middle of it. My armor was so thick and heavy, that¡¯s because I always kept on adding weights to my armor whenever I got comfortable with it. Now I just looked like a walking turtle; I start to manipulate my armor and bring it back to its original form. This made me feel so light, because I miss the feeling of running; I rushed toward the swamp to hunt the boss monster. Running was fun, but I almost got caught to my own trap. ¡°Hahaha, that was a lot of fun, I even bulldozed some trees and monster along the way.¡± Making my way near the swamp, I raised the ground to make a path towards the center of the swamp. The water was dark, and smells like rotting flesh. My [Threat Sentient] was not giving me any alarm, but I just want to make sure that I¡¯m prepared for what¡¯s to come. Because of the characteristics of my new armor to repel liquid, I cannot coat it with any of my poison. But I got an idea, like a syringe I made the tip of my scales to be hollowed until it reaches my skin. Then I filled up the hollow part with poison from my skin. The swamp looks normal to me; monsters were looking at me with little sign of fear. *I wonder if the boss will be here.* I continued to walk to the center or the swamp, but the fog was starting to thicken as I got nearer and nearer into the middle. I cannot see anything, but I can hear a loud cracking noise, like branches of wood being split in half. I stop for a moment and observe the noises but it stopped as soon as I stopped moving. For a second the surrounding was dead silent. *CCCRRRRKKKKK* *OOOOUUUUUHHHHNNNNGGGAAAAAA* A very loud noise of cry greeted me with a very strong gust of wind that cleared the thick fog. I closed my eyes because of the cloud of dust that was hitting my face, and some dirt even got into my eyes. *Fucking hell!! That loud scream almost makes my ear bleed.* I got dizzy from the loud scream, and when I opened my eyes. A giant dead wood was looking down on me with glowing red eyes and a very large mouth. I don¡¯t know why my threat sentient didn¡¯t gave me any alarm, but I¡¯m sure that I¡¯m in deep trouble. A giant dead tree that looks like a thousand of years old, the tree was so thick I¡¯m starting to have doubts if I can even cut it down.Stolen story; please report. I was about to run around it, but the giant dead wood screamed at me again that makes me dizzy and my movement dull. My mind was getting cloudy, and then my sight turned to black. *boom* Having a thought that I may have lost consciousness, but what happened was I got hit by one of its arms. I took 50 points of damage because of the weight but thanks to my armor, I wasn¡¯t got crushed by it. I start to inject poison to its arm, and because the material was dead, the decomposition process was very fast. With its arm gone, I got up and start to run. It was about to scream but I rapidly shoot, spikes from my tail which contains poison inside, mouthful of poison and rocks from the ground. ¡°Shut your fucking mouth!!¡± It quickly took guard with one arm, while it cuts off the decaying arm away. I moved around it while continuing my attack, the dead wood was starting to decay all over its body. It made another loud cry which echoed inside the floor. It was starting to get weaker, I thought it was its dying cry but I was wrong. An earthquake started to occur, and the ground was starting to rise up, I moved away as quickly as I can. And from the distance, small dead wood was running towards the giant dead wood, and what caused the earthquake were the giant roots coming out of the ground. The giant dead wood starts to eat all the smaller dead wood, and with that it starts to regenerate its body. I was going to attack it while it was busy, but roots came out of the ground on where I was, I can easy cut all of them, but more are coming and there seems to have no end to it. About five minutes passed by and the roots stopped their assault, I also regenerate some of my mana from the fight. When I look at the giant dead wood, its body was not like an old tree anymore, it¡¯s more like a half human tree. The upper body was human male, the lower part was still a tree connected to the ground, and the arms were made from roots. The giant human tree was looking at me with a grinning face. It was irritating actually; I¡¯m starting to get pissed with that look. It suddenly whips me with its arm that was made from root, I was thinking that it cannot reach me, but its arm extended far enough to reach me. I got hit by it because a bunch of roots came out of the ground and restricts my movement. Even if I broke free, another batch of roots will emerge. *crash!!!* *HAA HAAA HAAA HAAA. . .* ¡°This is so irritating¡± *the fucking tree starts to laugh at me*. . The damage got a little higher, it was now 74 points. It was not that life threatening, but if I got hit continuously I might die. My blood was starting to boil from the irritating laugh. I produced a lot of poison and inject it to the roots below and also into its arm. It quickly pulled away its arm and root. ¡°HAHAHAHA, you never learn.¡± I quickly rushed towards the human tree as it starts to attack me with both arms. But I made the tip of my tail into a huge sword, and cut the incoming arms. I also made small holes at the blade that were connected to the tip of my tail to let my poison flow, the decapitated arms starts to decay, and the human tree screams in anger. *I wonder if it feels pain?* It cut off the decaying arms, and regrew another pair. *this is tiresome* Large roots are now starting to attack me, I manage to cut some but more are still coming. Because I was irritated by the number of roots that were still attacking me, I produced a lot of poison and spread it onto the ground. This caused my mana to be drained halfway, the roots was now starting to decay. With its arms completely regenerated back to normal, it began to shoot sharp woods at me. I dodge it with ease and with my current speed; I finally got near it. I quickly jump and was about to slash its body with my tail, but a wall of roots came out of the ground. I swing my tail with all of my strength. *boom* *crrrssssshhhh* With the sharp of the blade, I cut through the roots with ease and the human tree starts screaming. Because of my strength I manage to cut almost half of its body, its body was not hollow like a dead tree, in fact it was fresh like a young sapling. Without waiting any longer, I start to spit poisons into the cut. It started screaming and was going through a rampage. The entire root¡¯s come out of the ground and was destroying the place around us; it also started to attack me with a fist, but a jumped out of the way using my tail and clung onto its body. Cloud of dirt rose from the ground as it continuous to punch the place where I was before. Using my claws I climb up to its back and onto the neck. It must be so mad, that it didn¡¯t notice that something was climbing its back. Using the sword from my tail, I stabbed its neck and start to inject a lot of poison. It was about to smack its neck so I moved to the front while slashing its neck. I covered its face with poison, then jump down and start to stab the chest and inject the poison. Because the blade was so sharp, it automatically cut through chest down to its body, and also with the help of my weight. When I got to the ground, I quickly moved away to a safer distance. The human tree didn¡¯t have the chance to even resist it was already weakened when the poison got into its body, pieces of its body start to fall off and decay the same with all the roots. I just noticed that a small portion of its body and roots were fresh/living. Maybe because of the polluted water that it started to die. Chapter 13 – 3rd Evolution Chapter 13 ¨C 3rd Evolution oOo Looking at the evolution window, everything looks amazing, but. . . *AN: changed Evolution Option to Path of Evolution* |Path of Evolution: Normal Draco Armored Lizard , Normal Draco Plague Lizard(New Species) , Normal Draco Xoprium Pardus(New Species) , Normal Draco Haimeno(New Species) Examining the path of evolution, all names have normal draco which definitely means a much higher species than lesser draco. From what I¡¯ve read from the Normal Draco Armored Lizard, the draco species are monsters with small amount of dragon blood. *so it means depending on the species, there will be full blooded and halfblooded dragons?* Getting back on evolution, the armored lizard is just the same species as I¡¯m currently at, but with dragon blood. The Plague Lizard is a monster that spreads plague and diseases with a decaying body, *more like an undead lizard* living things that came across this monster will only end up to the underworld. This monster has a high damage, but I don¡¯t really think I want to be an ugly ass lizard just for that much distractive power. |Normal Draco Xoprium Pardus(New Species) ¨C a hybrid monster that focuses in speed, power, and defense, with a body of a large cat for great mobility and power, strong bones that¡¯s made from a rare metal Xoprium. Fur, and scales that were made from the same metal that channels a destructive lightning ability. A fearsome predator with keen senses.| *wow this one is promising, I already liked it.* |Normal Draco Haimeno ¨C a closely relative of the dragons, having a large body of a snake with hundred pair of legs similar to a lizard. It has . .* wait wait wait, so it¡¯s like a large centipede like snake? This is a fucked up monster. I don¡¯t want any of it.* The only thing I liked was the Xoprium Pardus, and what¡¯s up with this evolutions getting bigger. Sure I like to grow big but not that big, what if I got stuck here because I¡¯m too big enough to move to another floor, I might just become the boss of the floor if that happened. As the description of my species, all bones where made out of metal, even the claws. Looking at my body, I was more convinced of having longer legs than very short ones. Scales can be located on different part of my body, from the tip of my four legs, climbing up to the back, and continuing to my head and tail. The bottom half were all covered with xoprium fur. I¡¯m more like half metal half meat, my tail was the same as a lizard¡¯s tail but it was a bit smaller and longer. I¡¯m like a combination of a dragon with no wings and a large cat like a panther. And my SP were a bit low, *maybe because of the evolution* I¡¯m starting to get hungry just from looking at it. Let¡¯s go get some meal. I was about to test my new skill, especially lightning clad, but all of a sudden a blinding light shone from the corpse of the dead boss. The light starts to fade away as my eyes were adjusting to the surroundings, my eyes where all a bit blurry. *it was the feeling of when you¡¯re sleeping in the middle of the night then suddenly an asshole turned on the lights. Yeah fuck that asshole.* I moved closer and I was amazed because a seed was floating from the lifeless ground. I knew that it was a boss loot but, *I can¡¯t eat it, what if it was a very important item? But I don¡¯t have any inventory either. * thinking for a second, and I finally got an idea. The seed looks like a sunflower seed, but it¡¯s the same size as my eye, and it has a bright red color like blood. Using [Armor Modification] I made a chain like necklace from my neck, and through the help of [Eragal Magic] I made the soil take form of a human hand, then grab the seed with it, and placed it at my neck where the chain was and made it a pendant. I made sure to cover it with xoprium so that, if in case something happened, it will not fall off that easily. A land with almost nothing but volcanoes and lava, this floor were filled with different kinds of horrifying monsters and demons. Loud roars and cry filled the air, blood and flesh were scattered all around the place, and the once chaotic place was stirred up and became much worse than before. Monsters who roamed on this floor suddenly changed their hostility to one another, and now they were running on a group. Running from one monster, it was a savage monster that came from the upper floor. When it first stepped on the 86th floor demons started to attack the black monster. But they all got torn apart with its sharp claws, from seeing a powerful monster; the demons start to gang up on the monster. The demons pride is just simple, be on the top to become the strongest. And because the Demon Lord Haford who created this dungeon had died from a very old age, demons start to challenge other demons on who should be the next Demon Lord. The entrance to this floor was a portal, and when I got here a demon with six muscular arms attacked me all of a sudden. I got surprised and scared; my body moved on its own and slashed the demon in half. After that different demons start to attack me, I can¡¯t describe them all, but its only 3 words Ugly Ass Demons. So thirsty from the fight, I start to drink one of the demons blood. I don¡¯t expect that there will be any water here, because I¡¯m surrounded with volcanoes. *why the hell does the one who build this dungeon so very demonic, I can¡¯t even understand if the sky here is real or not. The Cerberus was starting to think about what kind of monster came from the upper floor, but it cannot think of any that can kill the boss of the upper floor, nor even kill a weak demon. oOo MC''s POV I was in the middle of eaten when suddenly a red flashing light came from my neck; it was the seed that I got from killing the boss. Most of the bloods from the demons were now absorbed by the seed. Mad ape - a large demonic monster that¡¯s half the size of the colossal demon, with a hot red burning fur, muscular arms with bones like scales from both arms, lacking in speed but compensated with power and defense. Gorath ¨C a goat like dragon that¡¯s stands on two legs, scales cover all parts of its body and large dragon wings that has the power to create tornados. Fire Bringer ¨C a demon with human like body, its head had no face, only four large eyes and a skull which grows two large horns on both sides that looks similar to a scythe¡¯s blade. The monster was carrying a large scythe which was burning red hot that can easily make anything into ashes. This was only to name a few demons from the group. The bat demon was thinking that it was too much to bring this quantity of demons just to kill a single monster. But that monster killed the elite soldier of the Cerberus. ¡°Kiii Kiii, Demons don¡¯t really show any mercy.¡± The bat demon mutters to itself. The bat demon descends to the ground as it sees the black monster covered with lightning approached in a fast speed. *KIIII KIIIK KIIIIK KIIIK KIII!!* The bat demon laugh. The black monster stopped from running about 15 meters away from the bat demon. The bat demon started talking. ¡°You manage to kill the elite soldiers of my Master Cerberus, but with this amount of demons you will fall to your doom. Even if you¡¯re that powerful, you will get tired and as soon as you got tired, I will be the one to finish you off.¡± But the black monster didn¡¯t give any reply. ¡°Kiii Kiik Kiii!! It got a direct hit from a strong lightning magic attack. The other demons witnessed what happened, and with a loud cry they all attacked the black monster. Flashes of lightning rained all over the place that followed by a loud thunder. Rocks starts to rise from the ground as some monster got impaled by it. A group of demon simultaneously attacks the black monster, but only dead awaits them. Different sizes of fire balls from the dragons¡¯ rain from the sky, but only demons and the ground covered with blood got hit by it. The black monster slaughtered everything that got in his way. A huge amount of poison flew to the sky, and was hit by a large boulder. The poison was destroyed into tiny droplets and soon the demons on the ground started to melt. Flying demons guard themselves using their wings, but it was the biggest mistake of their life. Giant demons are now attacking the black monster, but they cannot even make a single hit because of its speed. One by one the giant demons start to fall to the ground, their feet was decapitated and was starting to decay. A loud cry of pain and agony echoed around the surroundings, the small hill of corpses start to get bigger and bigger like a mountain, a once small drop of blood became a lake filled with bones, organs, flesh and blood. A true bloodbath, like literally. ^^ oOo MC''s POV When I got near the demons, I didn¡¯t attack because I thought it was some kind of fighting manner, were the two parties stopped for a moment and have a staring contest or make some conversation or whatever. The bat like demon starts to make a sound like laughing, and it was very VERY irritating for me. It was making sounds like talking but I can¡¯t really tell what it was. The demon was just making horrible sounds, and for a moment of hearing its high pitched noise. I was so irritated so I just killed it with my lightning magic.
