《Eternal Soul》 Prologue There are 2 continent in the Green Aurora Planet , Kran and Azar, in Azar there is only one country, Ushia Republic , always in war with Ofros from the Kran continent. Azar, Ushia capital city, Central park. There a 20 years-old young man is sweating as he runs around the park. Feeling that he can''t endure anymore, he search for a bench, Finding one he hurry to sit down and rest, while panting, he try to regain his breath, calming down he closes his eyes and feels the warm sunlight in his body, his consciouness drift away. Hours pass by. The Sun hiding itself in the horizon, the young man`s eyes start opening, rubbing his eyes to shake the sleepiness off, he look around and notice that there almost no one in the park, just some couples glued at each other, getting up he begin his journey to his home, shortly after walking he sees a little girl behind a tree, just one look you see that she is lost. Approaching the girl trying to not look like a lolicon , he get next to her and ask "Are you lost?" The girl looks at him but don''t answer and turns her head away, the young man didn''t got angry say in a calm tone " Don''t worry. I''m not someone suspicious, just want to help you." The girl again look at him but now she answer, "They always say that but in the end.... anyway, i''m not lost but waiting for someone." The young man sastified with the answer, say ," Oh, who? Your parents?" "No, but is someone who will change your fate." The little girl look at the young man with a expression that children shouldn''t have and smile. Suprised by the way that the little girl sounded so sure of it, he hurried ask, "Change my fate? What do y-". Not even finishing his question, he in a hurry turn around, just in time to see a scene that he will never forget for his lifetime, it burned in his eyes,no, in the soul, so that he will never forget even if he wanted to. In the glommy sky that was made by the sunset a lightning appear without any clouds and strike the ground next to the young man, but weirdly enough there is no sound, no thunder, after the lightning what followed it was just a mist forming where the lightning striked. From the mist you can vaguely see a silhouette in the middle of the mist, sorrounded by the mist the young man looks around and notice that the little girl disappeared. Not giving time for he to think a man voice sound from where the lightning striked, "Young man, did you see a girl here?" The young man calm himself down and answer ,"Yeah, she was here until the lightning strike, where she is now, i don''t know." The voice stay quiet for a while, after a while the voice saying nothing the young man asks, "Sir, can i go home now?" "Yes, go on." The Mist Guy absentmindedly said, the young man turned around and hurried away, but not going far away heard the Voice again."Wait, did she said anything weird?" The young man reluctantly stopped and answered while turning around slowly,"Yes, something about meeting someone that will change my fate." "So that is the meaning..", Mist''s guy stopped speaking for a few second, then continued, "Okay,then i will grant you one wish if it is within my power.First tell me your name." After the voice finished saying it, Luke begun to feel pain inside his head, and his consciouness drift away. Chapter-01 "Hey..." "Hey!Wake up." Hearing a gentle voice and feeling someone shaking him, Luke opens his eyes and look around, just to be suprised by how close he is to the person, who was shaking him awake. Hurriedly getting up and looking around, Luke realize that he still is on the park and was drooling on the bench, looking in the bench he see who is the one that waked him. White Room Luke appear in the room naked, waiting for the A.I appear, 1 minute 2 minute Nothing happens, anxious he screams "Hey!Is there anybody here?" Suddenly in front of him appear a body made of 0s and 1s, but slowly skin began to appear, changing it`s appeareance to that of a middle-aged woman,160cm, long black hair, in office clothes. "Well, your nickname was Hephaestus in the beta right?" "Yeah." Luke played the beta test for Hyathea Online, to make it brief, first he tried to be a warrior,alright first mob, a classic rabbit, but he died....It''s not because he is was bad, no it was because the combat style at that time was weird, you don''t exactly control the character like you control your body, you had to think the action to everything besides walking and running, and when you thought ''attack'' it attack randomly. So after he respawned he changed from combat class to crafting class, a blacksmith. Changing his class, he tried to become apprentice to a master blacksmith, after running around for a day finally found one in a shabby shop,just to be disappointed when he began to craft for the first time, because he just need to put the ore in the forge, hammer it 2~4 time wait 3 seconds and *ding* you crafted a normal iron sword, so he send a report about it, that repeated a lot,lot of time until the end of the beta. "You know the trouble that you made us pass because of your hundreds of reports,right?" "It reached the hundreds?...Wow.." "Well, that take us to our current problem, we have a job offer for you?" Seeing his avatar he notice something weird, and touch his forehead and feel something hard lifting his hand a little more, and still the same. After closing the menu, and walking a little more, he stand at the front of the Guard Post. Grekorio approach a guard standing next to him. "Where can i find the Cpt.Gerald?", he ask while approaching the guard "He is in the forest taking care of the trolls, but you can wait at the north gate." "Sure, thanks." Grekorio Turn around and go in direction of the north gate. After arriving he looks around and see only two guards standing at the sides of the gate, he asks them when Gerald will be back, and they say that it will be soon. Sitting down at a corner next to the gate he look at the intimidating forest that circle the village, soon becoming bored, he opens the menu showing the Character Icon, Quest icon, Iventory Icon, Pet icon, and the Option Icon. After closing the quest window, he look at the menu again and click at the iventory option. Inside the iventory there is only bread and water skin. ''Wait, normally you get some copper coin, and a rusted sword, i think it''s because of cheat-like stats that i have to make it fair, not that complaining about it since i have the blacksmith skill at a decent level, but to make swords i need ores, and to get ores i need coins....AHHHH....", ending his monologue, he notices someone approaching him. Grekorio gestures at the air while standing up to close the menu. The man approaching him has the unmistakable aura of a soldier, with straight horn and scars on the face make a fearsome face. "Hey young man, i heard that you are searching for me." Gerald speak "Right, the village chief said to me search for you about the trolls." "Oh, you look weak, are you sure that you want to do it?" After thinking a bit he immediately got it, ''It must be the program in the A.I, probably don''t have the answer for my question or, and i am not saying it right...", Grekorio lost in thought didn''t notice that Gerald stopped, only after Grekorio bump into Gerald. While understanding his sorrounding, which is obviously dangerous, he realize that the A.I answered his question, which means that he was right before, his questions was too difficult, and the A.I can answer simple questions. "Now we can go kill some trolls, or do you want to do it later?" "No, I want to kill trolls now." Gerald start walk and Grekorio follow him, not before turning his head to glare at the scarecrow and run after Gerald. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aghar''s Forest Grekorio while walking with Gerald searching for trolls, tried again to get some information from Gerald, but failed miserably. "Is there anything that i need to know, like some kind of skill?" He continued asking a lot of question only to meet with silence and blank stare. "....." "Do you have any advice?" "Stay silent and try to observe your sorrounding, from things most know like trails to broken branchs, indention in the trees." While trying to observe like Gerald said, but before he could get any progress he see Gerald lifting his hand and closing it, probably meaning to stop and stay quiet. When the bushes russled in front of him, Grekorio understood why they stopped. From there appeared 3 green ugly monsters, 3 meters tall, wielding branches as weapons. Grekorio not knowing what to do look at Gerald, only to see Gerald drawing his sword preparing himself for the fight. Grekorio too unsheated his sword and tried to find a stance for this fight. "Come! You giant snot!", Shouted Grekorio while trying to scare them away and attempting to make the fear go away. Chapter-04 Gerald was the first to attack, he cut the throat of one in a fast attack not giving chance to reaction, but the other two trolls didn''t liked obviously, seeing their comrade dying, so they attacked while shouting with an angry and annoying sound. Grekorio seeing Gerald being at a disadvantage, he jumps in the fight to help, while Gerald is retreating and attracting their attention, Grekorio try to sneak around the troll and kill it with a backstab, but Grekorio wasn''t lucky, after thrusting the sword at the back of the troll the sword only went for about 2 centimeter before stopping, the troll noticing Grekorio behind him, The 3 meter giant turn around while at the same time smashing the branch, that it use as a weapon, in his direction. Grekorio hurriedly pulls his sword, and jump back trying to retreat, he feels a violent wind passing by his face making his long hair dance wildy, soon followed by a heavy sound and a small cloud of dust. Giving a fast glance to the side, to see how is Gerald, Grekorio again take a stance getting ready for another round, but he is only dodging the troll''s attacks. After suffering under the attacks for a while he sees a chance, at the same time, he think about Gerald''s attack at the start of the battle, and while thinking that the lightning strike scene from his dream come to his mind, the two thing start to merge,''A lightning that come without thunder, you don''t realize that it strike...." A bright light shone from Grekorio''s eyes as he start to feel as if he was understanding something. Grekorio try to put this idea in practice, storing power in his legs while eyeing every inch of the troll''s body, he release the stored power in his legs, his body flew at the throat of the troll, and it suprised by the sudden attack didn''t know how to react, soon feeling the cold steel in it''s throat waked the troll. The angry troll feeling itslife flowing away and its body becoming weak, could only shout and try to smash the annoying cricket that hurted it. Grekorio looked at the branch falling from the troll''s hand while its body following the branch, Grekorio sighed in relief and turned his head to look at Gerald, only to be meet with the captain looking blankly at him. "Good enough, now let''s go to the next." Gerald speak after the troll fall on the ground. "Yes." Grekorio look at the trolls'' corpses, then in the branch that they used as weapon, such a incredible material might come in use in the future, feeling that, he begin to collect the branches, opening the inventory tab and seeing his loot there, he nodded to himself, and opened the quest tab, there are only 2 quests, and below the quest¡¸Kill the trolls¡¹is 1/10. 4 hours later. After killing 4 more trolls, and searching for their trails, Grekorio strumble upon some trails that show that there are more than 4 trolls around here. After getting more experience in observing his sorrounding and trying to find trails it was easy. Stalking the trolls using the trails was easy due to their carelessness. After a few trees and bushes, soon five trolls come into view, sneaking behind one while Gerald like all the others fights, rush in middle of them killing one with a fast attack. Seeing the troll in front of him distracted by Gerald, Grekorio jump in it''s back, while lifting the troll''s chin up and shoving the sword in it''s throat in direction of the brain. Seeing the troll falling down he loose his legs that was around the troll, and use the it''s back to jump at another one, this one not seeing Grekorio coming at him could only feel something passing by and the ground approaching. Of the 2 trolls left, one was occupied with Gerald, and the other one seeing it''s two comrade at the ground with a expanding pudle of blood aroud their head, angrily roared while charging at Grekorio, he experienced it in the past fights with others trolls, and so he wisely rolled to the side letting it charge past him. Hurriedly turning around and going after the troll, who is trying to stop it''s charge, Grekorio slash with all his strenght at it''s back, leaving a deep gash. Troll has never been so angry before, with a thunderous roar, it turn around while swinging its branch. Seeing that, Grekorio crouched down, and waited for the hammer-like branch above him, soon feeling the violent wind following the branch, he get up and thrust his sword at the troll''s chest, and pull the sword back after felling that the sword went deep enough. Jumping back and staring at the troll roaring crazily as it feels it''s life going away, soon it falls down. After confirming that the troll is dead he turn around to see Gerald waiting for him like theirs past fights, it didn''t matter how many trolls Gerald is fighting against, he always end the fight at the same time as Grekorio. Getting the loot from the trolls, and opening his quest tab, he sees that he need to kill more 2 trolls, Grekorio go more deep in the forest in his search for more trolls, soon his and Gerald silhouettes dissapear in middle of the foliage.
After killing the last 2 trolls and collecting the loot, Grekorio opens his menu and his character tab. Name-Grekorio Race-??? Lvl: 5 Class-None Title-None --------- Strenght:60 Dexterity:50 Agility:55 Intelligence:50 Magic Power:50 Vitality:55 ----------- Skills Smithing-Lv V Swordmanship-Lv IV Tracking-Lv I Chapter-05 Nodding to himself after looking at his stats, he raised his strenght, agility and vitality, while leaving the other stats since he don''t know which build he will use. Strenght raise your attack power; dexterity raise precision on the movement, which means it''s something that only crafter and long-range users will use so he didn''t need it; agility raise the character speed; intelligence raise the speed in which the skill level up and make the mana points regeneration faster; magic power increase the mana pool(MP) and make the spell more strong;vitality is a little tricky since the damage system in this game is a little different from the others, it increases the body defence and raise the speed of health points(HP) regeneration. The system that this game uses don''t exacty has the HP, every character, don''t matter how over-powered it''s, players, NPCs, monsters, it don''t matter, all of them will have only 100/100 Health Points, you could say it''s the "blood" inside the body, and about the mana, only mages know exactly how much mana they have inside them, while some warrior use skills that cost mana, they will have a feeling of hunger when their mana empty. ¡¸Kill the trolls- 10/10 Quest completed. Go talk to the village chief about your rewards.¡¹ Closing his menu, Grekorio turn his eyes to the blade that he used to kill all the 10 trolls, looking at its tattered state, he sighed, and shaking his head while thinking,''What a cheap sword. But it''s was free not like i can complain. Maybe i should try my hand in smithing again, smelt this sword, and buy some ores with the coin that i will probably get from the Chief and craft a better one... Oh, ican''t forget that i need to get the Inspect skill again, how did i get it back then?'' While distracted in his thoughts he don''t notice the trails of trolls next to him, neither will Gerald say something. It didn''t take long before Grekorio regret getting distracted when they strumble into 4 trolls. "We are in danger."Gerald spoke "No shit!" They not getting the suprise element is something that has not happened in the past, which mean that Grekorio don''t have experience with this kind of situation, so he panicked, forgetting to unsheathe his sword, and only reacting to the troll attack when it''s already upon him. Jumping back in a hurry, only to end with his back against a tree, not knownig what to do, could only unsheathe his sword and put it in horizontally in front of his chest, to defend against the attack. The clash between the sword and the Hammer-like branch resulted in Grekorio being embedded in the tree behind him,while coughing blood and thought,''This game got pretty realistic.'',while thinking that, he try to get himself out of the tree only to be meet with a swing from the troll again. Hurriedly rolling to the side, and getting up he feels danger from behind him, he crouch down and try to use the opening after the swing and shove the sword in the troll''s throat, but before he could do that, he see from the corner of his eye the other one coming at him. ''Only trees..'' looking at the trees a plan came to him, a dumb plan, but still a plan. So Grekorio started to act according to his plan, and "luring" the trolls to a place where there are 3 trees together. With a tree behind him and a troll in front of him, could only be said to be a desperate situation yet Grekorio is smiling as if everything went according the plan. The troll swing the hammer-like branch, Grekorio jumps to the side, and the troll hit the tree behind him, it angrily roar for missing its target all the time, feeling so annoyed, it let that feeling flow in it''s next attack, but it forget about the comrade who''s helping it in killing the annoying thing that keep jumping around. The branch from the two troll clash, momentarily distracting them, Grekorio use this chance to go around the tree and climb it as high as he could before the trolls recovered. After climbing around 4 meters, which is a safe distance from the trolls since they will probably not look up, and find a branch to stay and wait for the right moment. The trolls recovered and realize that the annoying little thing isn''t around anymore, they searched around the trees not noticing the stare from Grekorio. Feeling that this is the right time, Grekorio jump down, and use a drop kick at one troll while throwing the sword at the one who''s is showing its back to him. The one who received the drop kick, dropped face down in the ground while the one with a sword sticking is letting out a shrill scream while trying to pull out the swordfrom its back. Grekorio hurried to take back his sword, putting his hand on the hilt he push the sword more deep in the troll''s body making it''s scream come to a end, and the other one recovering from the drop kick try to get up, Grekorio obviuosly not giving it a chance thrust the sword with all his strength in it nape, killing it. ''Fuck, this game became so realistic that it''s becoming annoying, and i think that the trolls are a little more intelligent this time, maybe it''s because we didn''t attacked in suprise this time.'' while complaining inside him, he start to collect the loot, which is only the branchs that the trolls use, but this time he notice something inside the clothes of one troll, taking it from the dead troll and unwrapping the cloth around it. He is assaulted with a golden light that hurted his eyes, after the light fades a little, he can see a ore in golden color, not knowing what this is he approach Gerald and try to ask. "It''s Deep Gold Ore, and is found only in places around 30km below the surface, but you can try to show this to the Chief maybe it can be useful to him." Gerald answered. ''So this is a Quest Item, maybe this is a quest line, kill the trolls, find something in the trolls, report to the village, and he will give you another quest related to the ore, maybe sending you to a mine or something.'' Again starting his monologues, he start to walk distracted again in direction of the village. This time luckily there was no accident, and after arriving in the village the first go to the elder to report his quest, and get some rewards. Chapter-06 Name-Grekorio Race-??? Grekorio in the Beta was a blacksmith and only could get skill from the others classes doing some difficult quest, like, Stealth to get this skill you would need to kill a boss monster without being noticed with only one hit. Checking his status again, he see that the Swordmanship ''branched'', unlocking the ability to wield two swords. There is some skills that get abilities unlocked, like, swordmanship at Lv V. Seeing the Village Chief at the distance, he start to sprint there. "Hey, Chief!" "Oh, Young man, hi, did you finished the quest?" "Yes, i finished it, and...." Grekorio opens his menu and take out the Deep Gold Ore," And found this, it was on one of the trolls." The Chief take the ore from Grekorio hand,"Deep Gold Ore... and was with a troll...", The Chief was murmuring while examining closely the ore. "I would like that you investigate about this, how did the trolls got this, and where it come from."Village Chief spoke after a while. ¡¸Ivestigation about the Deep Gold Ore''s Origin. Steps can be heard from the shop''s back, and a burly man with ram-like horn on his forehead, show from the door behind the counter. "Hey kid, What do you want?" "Sir, can i trade this for ore?"He says that while taking the branch that he took from the trolls, and put it in the counter."And use your forge?" "This is good quality wood...." He said that after examining the wood for a while, and put it back down."Okay, you can use the forge, and what ore you want?" "3 ingots of steel." "Okay,8 of this would suffice,follow me."The Blacksmith says that, get out from behind the counter, and start to walk to where a heat is coming. Following the blacksmith, Grekorio reach the forge which is besides the shop. "Wait here, i will get the steel for you."The Blacksmith says that and get out the smithy. Grekorio start to prepare himself already, testing the bellows, heating more the forge, and taking out the Deep Gold Ore and the almost broken sword. Taking the blade out of the hilt, he first start smelting the sword, and next is the ingot casting, while taking out the impurities. After finished with it he start to do the same with the Deep Gold Ore, then he took the cast of a sword that looked like the one he use. Putting the melted ore in the cast, but see that it isn''t ore to make the sword, so he only use it for the main body of the sword, the middle, while the steel will take the edges. He cool it down and start to heat it again, after seeing that the iron is heated enough, he start to strike it, again, and again, over and over. After seeing that it''s enough he put the sword in the cast again, which take the middle while adding the melted steel, the steel flow to the corners of the cast, nodding to himself, he put it in the water again, cooling it, and heat again in the forge, after which he start to strike again, making the sharp edges. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Without him noticing the Blacksmith is standing at the side for hours, Grekorio was fully concentrate on the sword, that he forgot about his sorrounding. The Blacksmith deliver the Ingots, and go back to the side to observe Grekorio,probably. Taking the ingots, Grekorio go back to smithing, he get so absorved in it that he forget about time. Chapter-07 Leaving the blacksmith, with a new weapon, a saber which is sheated in the belt on the right side, the reforged sword on his back, and an armor, a cuirass guarding his chest. The next stop is an alchemist shop, also know as, Item shop. After asking the blacksmith where he can find a map, the answer was that the item shop should have one. After walking past some shops, Grekorio arrivied at the Alchemist shop. Entering it, he was greeted with potions, and herbs around him making a weird but nice smell flow around the shop. Approaching the counter, he see a bell on it, pressing it a soft sound echo in the shop. Seconds later, an old woman came from the door behind the counter. "What can i help you with?"Said the old woman gently "I want a world map and one from the sorrounding, and a book about the herbs around here." "Oh, and what you can offer for trade?" Grekorio had before his visit the blacksmith 24 branchs from the trolls. Now he take 2 out of his inventory to see if the old woman accept. "Fair, i accept." said the old woman, then she took one scroll and a book from the counter. After exiting the village, Grekorio sit down and lean on a tree, and take out the world map from his inventory. After unrolling the scroll, he start to study the map to try to find where he is, '' the Chief said something about mainland, which mean that where i am obviously isn''t the big continent in the map'', so he start to search for islands around the continent, after minutes of quietly staring in the map, he realize that besides one island, that is isolated from the others, all the islands beside this one are part from a kingdom. ¡¸Discover the secret about the island. Chapter-08 Arriving where he found the ore, Grekorio try to recall when he encountered them, he try to remember from which direction they had come from. After mulling his brain, Grekorio get the answer, and start to walk deep in forest. Each time he find a herb he opens the book and search for the herb after finding it he say out loud, and a window appear showing the herb, and it description, meaning he got it right. On the way, he notice a lot of troll''s trail meaning that he is in the right way. Grunts could be heard around him alerting his distracted mind, he immeadiately start to concentrate on the stealth skill, and sneak around the bushes. Didn''t take long before he meet a troll walking deep in the forest, Grekorio start stalking it. After half a hour of stalking, the troll arrive at a village with wooden fences around it, inside the village there is only trolls, everything crudely made, but it mean that there is someone ordering them. For them to develop like this, they would need someone strong that can gain their respect, and intelligent enough to create roles for them.....which means an evolved troll or something like that.''Analyzing the trolls from the alleys while continuing to pursue the same troll, he had an inkling in what to do to complete this quest. It entered a house, which is the bigger in all village, Grekorio stop in the alley beside the house, seeing the guard in he front door, he shake his head, and start to look for a way to enter the house, without having to look around, he see some crates align in way that make possible to climb on the house roof then jump to the other side, seeing that a thought came to him''It can''t be that simple right.''. Even while thinking that he start to climbing the crates, careful to not make noise, soon reach the roof of the house beside the one that the troll entered. Looking at the window of the second floor, where he will try to jump, he see the troll that he was stalking reach for something inside his clothes, and take out an ore golden in color, giving it to someone on a throne, respectfully while kneeling. Grekorio move his eyes a little and see a 5 meters green giant sitting on a throne, it reach for the ore, giving it a serious look, suddenly start laugh(?) out loud, but to Grekorio it''s grunts sounded more like cacophony of sounds. He immediately sneaked behind the troll, that he was following while unsheathing his sword silently, he jumped at it''s back pushed it''s chin up and shoved the sword at the troll''s throat, fastly putting a hand on it''s mouth to prevent it from grunting. Draggin the body back at the woods, he started to sneak around the mine to understand the situation there. Half a hour later. Grekorio leans on the rocky wall of a cave inside the mine, while summarizing what he had seen.''So while the king is intelligent, he is the only one, this mine there are only trolls mining without a worry, with only mining ores in the mind....*creppy laugh* that make my job easy.'' Thrusting his sword at the ground wielding only the saber in his left hand, Grekorio throw 4 knives at the trolls face, it lightly lift the sword to block, making the knives bounce off to the side. Chopping at Grekorio, it''s attacks fall short, only hitting the ground, annoyed, it grunt at Grekorio, probably trying to taunt him, only to fail. Angry the king roar as it start to hack like crazy on Grekorio direction. Even though, it''s attacking wildly, it has longer reach in it''s attacks than Grekorio, not giving him a chance to counter attack. After suffering under the troll attack for a while, he remember something simple he has throwing knives, he reaches with his right hand for the knives on his belt taking 4 knives ,while leaping back, in mid-air he throw 2 knives aiming for the throat. The king noticing this, lift his sword, and block the knives. After defending it''s throat, it start to prepare to kill the little bastard that keep annoying it. Before it could chop Grekorio in half, it see another little thing going for it''s eyes. While the throw it was distracted with the knife, Grekorio jump again, but this time forward. While taking more 3 knives from the belt. The troll turn it''s eyes back to Grekorio, seeing that he''s not running away anymore, it used the sword like a baseball bat, probably trying to transform Grekorio in meat paste. Grekorio glue himself to the floor again, this time after the sword from the troll pass by him, he didn''t even lift his head before throwing 2 knives at the troll. The troll lifting it''s sword again to defend itself, didn''t notice Grekorio using it''s knees as a platform for jumping. Grekorio use all the strength he could muster in a hurry to jump as high as he could. Jumping 3 meter high, he is on eyelevel with the troll now, suprising it, and before it could react, he had already throwed his last 2 knives that was on his hand. Soon the knives are already upon it''s eyes, when the knives hit it''s eyes. The troll''s king lift it''s head and let out a mournful roar, and in a angry response, it lift it''s sword in a upwards slash, ear piercing sound from the sword speed show how fast the slash was. Grekorio only defended his chest with his saber, and couldn''t even react correctly as he was already flying upwards, embedded in the ceiling, yet the scene from above gave him a weird feeling, his eyes soon becoming blurred until there''s no light left. Grekorio eyes soon get it''s light back, the weird feeling go away, and the memories from the past 10 seconds flow in his head. ''It happened again, huh.'' before he could continue his monologue, the ground crack under him, he look down and see the cracking rapidly spreading across the room, he hurry to retrieve his sword, and sheathing it and his saber,concentrating in the upper left of his vision he can see the his HP, and after looking at it he break in cold sweat while thanking his luck because it showed¡¸HP 5/100¡¹, he turn around to look at the troll. Seeing it in it''s death throes, he move his eyes to the sword beside the troll, he quickly get it and wielding it he ends the troll suffering, quickly searching around the room, while ignoring the ¡¸Quest completed¡¹window in the corner of his vision, not finding anything worth, he start to walk to the door, but before he could reach the door, the floor finally go down. Falling the height of 6 meters can kill him at this moment, he hurriedly tried to find a way out of this situation, he crazily look around, he see the body of the troll, he quickly get on it before he fall down, the floor started to fall from the middle, while he was beside the throne when it began, and the door is across the room. Putting the golden greatsword in the inventory,''Why i forgot about the potions? Something so important.'', While regretting his forgetfulness, the floor start to fall under him, he can only close his eyes and wait for his luck. Soon feeling the impact from the hard floor under him, he opens his eyes and concentrate on his HP bar, ¡¸HP 2/100¡¹, sighing in relief, he get off the body of the troll, and scan around him, only to moments later a smile that almost reach his forehead appear on his face. While looking on the kitchen, he humming a happy tune, walking around , he stop at the the wood oven, Grekorio lit it up, take out the wood from his inventory, and put it on the fire, he start to around the house, while using the torch to put fire on the house. Getting out, he start to admire the giant bonfire, shaking his to get rid of distracting thoughts, he look at the houses around him. The fire rapidly spread around the village, waking the trolls, Grekorio quickly get out the village. Chapter-11 Leaving the bonfire behind him, Grekorio start to walk in direction of the village. Putting it back in his inventory, he walk through the village gate, soon the Chief appear in his vision, Grekorio greet the Chief, and start saying about what he had come here for. Rolling on the ground, Grekorio got up for one second and jump to the side again, this time wasn''t send flying, the place where the he was before now has a curtain of dust, soon the curtain dispersed and a white bark fist buried in the ground started to move again, the treant pulled its fist from the ground. This movement of treant almost knocked Grekorio out of its body, but he reacted quickly by strengthening his hold on the cracks, probably thanks to his high stats he wasn''t thrown off its back. Reaching the treant neck, and the treant still searching for Grekorio, he took this chance and unsheating his sword with his right hand while holding himself in place with his left hand between the cracks, Grekorio thrusted the sword between the cracks and pulled his sword and together with it white blood gushed out, the treant screamed and lift its hand to its neck trying to slap Grekorio out of its neck. Grekorio not giving it a chance jumped to the other side of the neck and used his sword to stop his fall and quickly without thinking of anything else climbed to top of the treant head hiding between the leaves that are probably its hair, leaving the treant to hunt for him like it was searching for a flea in middle of its hair. Grekorio stopped to think a little and noticed that again, he isn''t acting based on a plan but luck and quick decision. Alexandre looked at him and said, "Go, but don''t die, our plan here is just to tire them a little and run, letting them feel as if victory was on their grasp." "Yes, sir!", Grekorio blended in middle of the skeletons and together they sprinted to meet the enemy. "Woody, after the undeads diminish, order the treants to cause a landslide, and after we enter the cave send one or three treants to attack them if they stop to rest, try to pushing them inside the cave, understood?" "Understood, master." After confirming that Woody understood, Grekorio jumped at his first victim. Chapter-25 Grekorio brought down the greatsword on a wood elf, who died right away. Arrows keep raining on them undead, while from his side only 6 arrows could be see on the sky, with fire balls flying above him that destroyed the undead behind him, soon there are only 50 undeads. Grekorio began to retreat while hiding behind his greatsword, only dodging the fire balls that crash near him. They accomplished their objective of tiring the enimies and a few unlucky ones that died. "Get ready.", He said to Woody after getting behind the few dozen undeads left. The weak bony wall in front of him was soon destroyed, and the enemy army marched forwards whilst Alexandre ordered full retreat and the few of them without difficulty entered the cave. After Alexandre and the others entered the cave, the enimies stopped at the front of the cave and after staring at it for few moment the their leader shouted to everyone to rest, which they did, or tried to do, before they could even sit down the ground shaked, almost knocking them down. After stabilising themself, the search for around and only after looking up they could see the reason, their reaction was to run inside cave, but the passage was narrow, so the ones behind pushed the ones in front of them forward for more space to them hide. The rocks didn''t caused casualties, but closed the road that allowed them to retreat. Seeing everyone alright the leader shouted the same thing again and all of them started to sit down, but they''re interrupted again when two trees above them disconnected with the ground, dropping in front of them. The soldiers under Alexandre are hiding in crevices and behind rocks, like Grekorio, and all of them are looking at Alexandre''s direction patiently waiting for the order. The enemy soldiers are already passing below Grekorio, the shadows cast by the lightball gave the cave a even more spooky feeling. Grekorio stared at the soldiers below him whom are frantically looking around for enemy sign. As half of them passed by Grekorio, Alexandre gestured to get Layla attention, which he got, and lifting his hand and quickly bringing it down gave Layla a clear ideia of what should so had to do. Making the same action as the last time, the ground shaked and from it bony hands reached out, whilst it was happening the archers with theirs arrows already ready, sharp sound could be heard by the arrows just released. Killing a few just in this suprise attack. Now the warrior jumped out from the crevice and while the enemy is stunned they killed as many as they could and among them was Grekorio swinging his greatsword with energy. The undead rised from the ground while other simply grabbed the ankle of the enemy warriors, their leader shouted to calm everyone down while he ordered the mages to use their mana without worry. Grekorio hearing that began to aim for the mages by throwing knives at them while trying hard to get closer to them, but the meat wall in front was too much for him alone to do that. The skeletons help diminished with the time but their help tilted the balance to Grekorio''s side, as the meat wall in front of him diminished over time too, it left a few mages unguarded, Grekorio took as many opportunities as he can to kill the mages. Grekorio hid in a shadow to recover his breath, while in the shadow a opportunity came, in which he jumped in, with a downwards swing Grekorio transformed the mage head in meat paste. Before he could celebrate in front of him appeared a challenger, who shouted at him,"I dare you to duel with me!" Grekorio thought,''I could ask, why should i? But why not, just one more kill for me.'', then he replied the wood elf in front of him,"Sure, why not." Grekorio just after saying that jumped at his next target. Chapter-26 Their swords clashed and Grekorio enemy was pushed back, leaving two straight lines trail in the ground, Grekorio didn''t let the enemy breathe and with all his strenght brought the greatsword downwards the enemy''s head and him lifted his sword above his head, resulting in the enemy having his feet into the ground and his sword almost breaking from the clash, Grekorio repeated his previous action and breaking the sword from his challenger while at the same time that his enemy head become meat paste. Leaving the headless body behind Grekorio switched target and dashed to the next one, he walked around the battlefield aiming mainly for the mages, and Layla who was chanting this entire time finished her chant knocked her staff on the rocky ground while shouting something unrecognizable. Grekorio stared suprised at ground when bone lances came from below the enemies thrusting through the wood elves soldiers, scanning the enemy army he was suprised by how much their numbers dwindled with only this spell. Layla sat down to mediatate to recover her mp more quickly. The skeletons corp returned to ashes but their help brought the enemy to numbers down to only 50 soldiers, while Alexandre still has 90 soldiers alive, and with Grekorio berserk-like style of fight, their number quickly become 10 in which become prisoners and their leader was between these left alive. Grekorio standing in front of the prisoners together with Alexandre, and the leader indignant said,"You filthy trash, don''t you have honor?" Alexandre stared down at the annoying being in front of him and replied,"First of all, this is a war, and we just used tactics, simple ones that only a arrongant fool like you could fall into. Spreading its claws, Luna grabbed the chamrosh by its back and staring at the ground below it searched for a area to land. Few minutes later, Luna threw the body aside and landed on the ground, Grekorio hopped off its back and approached the chamrosh.
