《God Eater》 Chapter 1 "My brothers and sisters and our new allies, after many years of engaging ourselves in senseless war against each other, we all the races have finally united to stop this blight that threatens to devour us all, raise your weapons and defend your loved ones defend our homes fight-fight for the right to live!" an old man with a thick white beard wearing a silver armour riding a war horse yelled as he charged towards a distant hill where a single being stood on top. The being was enveloped in darkness, it was almost as if the being was the darkness itself, two pairs of red eyes stood out on the being, the being raised its hands and muttered something, when he was finished large black holes opened in the sky from them came countless horrors enveloped in darkness just like the being that summoned them. "Charge! Do no fall before the darkness brave souls!" the old man yelled as he crashed into countless masses of black horrors, behind him followed all the races that inhabited the world. "How amusing you are, all of you, the gods were devoured by me yet you stand brave and fight till the bitter end I knew that coming down from the realm of gods was the correct choice amuse me more mortals!" the being yelled with a happy voice as he looked down at the mortals and his black creatures slaughtering each other. "You are a blight that dared devour the gods, you will die here on this day!" behind the dark being ten radiant beings appeared with all their glory. Light shined from their bodies and it clashed with the darkness that leaked out of the dark being. "Hahahaha, little angels I was starting to wonder when were you going to come flapping out of your hole, I should have known you would use the mortals as a distraction to try and kill me haha!" the dark being looked at the ten angels and laughed with its dark and cold voice. "You fiend, it is true that we lost before to your tricks, but there is a grave mistake you made in your plans and calculations!" a female angel yelled as she pointed her golden spear towards the dark being. "Oh and what might that be little angel?" the dark being asked in an amused voice. "You underestimatethe mortals far too much!" the female angel smirked and yelled out, a large roar filled the battlefield, the dark being was surprised and turned his head around to take a look. His eyes widened in shock and amusement at the same time, a large force of mortals joined in the battle against the horrors, they pushed them back at an alarming speed. "Hahahahaha! I knew I was correct in coming to the mortal plane haha!" the dark being roared happily as he looked at the battlefield, he then turned around to face the ten angels. "Well, then shall we dance little angels!" the dark being flew towards the ten angels. "Leave him to me!" the largest of the angels stood forward, he raised his left hand that carried the golden shield and readied his golden sword in his right. "You stupid angel do you seriously think you can stop me!" the dark being extended his darkness covered arm and with a large boom he crashed into the angel. "Don''t underestimate us!" the dark being was shocked for a moment but regained his composure and jumped back to avoid the sword that was heading to his head. "Well-well this is certainly surprising who would have thought you all would become gods haha!" "You will never win your terror ends on this day, you do realize you have no way of winning dark one!" the female angel from before yelled. "Look down even those abominations you created are being destroyed surrender now!" the angel yelled. "Hahahahaha! destroyed? Haha I don''t think so, I will just create more!" the dark being raised his arms and slowly new black holes opened in the sky. "Aluries now!" the female angel yelled. "Got it!" the angel called Aluries stood forward raised his hand that was holding a golden spear and with all his might he threw the spear towards the dark being. The dark being failed to notice the spear just for a second "Hehe, I see so you even got your hands on the sacred relics, no wonder you were so confident, but your little attack failed to destroy me!" the dark being dodged the spear but it grazed him. "You still don''t realize it? That is a sacred relic that is able to steal one of the powers a god holds, which means you no longer have the power of the black hole!" the angel yelled. "So what?" the dark pointed at the angels, his hands transformed into two huge darkness wolves with red eyes "Devour them!" he gave a command to the wolves. The wolves charged at the angels and engaged them in a bloody battle. The wolves first attacked separately, but the quickly changed their tactic as they pinned down one of the angels to the ground and ripped him apart limb from limb. "Dalir!!" the female angel yelled as her dear friend was ripped apart before her eyes. "Hahaha that''s it screams in agony and despair that''s what I love to hear!" the dark being yelled and laughed in amusement as he watched the angels struggle before him. "The only one who will scream is you!" suddenly a loud yell forced the dark being to look behind him, but before he managed to turn around a sword slashed him in half. The two parts of the dark being fell down on the ground "Is he dead?" the old man that lead the army stood atop the dark beings corpse. "No get away from him!" the female angel yelled as she dodged the claws of the giant wolf. "Hehehehe amusing!" a voice beneath the old man laughed as the black spiked rose up from the corpse. The old man managed to save his life but his shoulder was pierced by one of the black spikes. "You can not kill me fools when will you realize this!" the two parts that were separated by the sword slowly mingled together and attached themselves togehter the dark being was whole once again. "We already know that! Markus is everything ready!?" the female angel yelled at the old man. "Indeed it is!" Markus stood up with a pained face as the blood leaked out of his shoulder, he managed to raise his sword up high. "I wonder if you fools can amuse me some more, or should I just kill you and be done with it" the dark being spoke with a little-annoyed voice. "Hmm?" suddenly countless blue light surrounded the dark being. "What is this?" the dark being tried to walk out of the surrounding blue lights but was stopped easily by them this made him frown a bit, he ordered his two wolves to return to him and break this wall of blue light but even they were stopped and even destroyed by the blue lights, they returned to simple darkness and reattached themselves to the dark being. "What kind of trick is this?" the being spoke as he tried to break the circle of blue lights. "Those are the souls of those that will put an end to you but first they will free the souls of the gods you dared devour you fiend!" the female angel yelled. The blue light started shining even brighter, suddenly new blue light started emerging from the body of the dark being. "No!" he yelled as he tried to stop the souls of the gods he devoured from escaping his body but he failed, and slowly the thick darkness that surrounded him vanished and all that was left was a similar looking being like the angles except for the black wings and a black steel mask with horns that covered his face. The female angel stood in front of the black angel with shocked eyes "B...big brother...Suriel!" she yelled as she finally realized who the dark being that caused so much chaos was. "Oh...Dahlia my little sister you finally remembered me, I am so touched but there is no need for such an expression hahah!" Suriel laughed as he looked at his little sister''s face filled with shock and sadness. "It is time!" Markus spoke as he put his hand on Dahlia''s shoulder. She looked at Markus and slowly nodded her head and muttered "That thing is no longer my big brother." she turned around and didn''t look at Suriel even once. "So what is this grand plan of your?" Suriel spoke as he looked at Markus. But the only thing Markus said was "Begone monster, return to the pits of the twelve hells!" the light started trembling and behind Suriel, a large red hole opened up that started to suck him inside. "Heh so this is your plan, pretty good I would say, but sealing me will not work!" he moved his hand a little, but that did not go unnoticed by Markus. "What did you do!?" Markus yelled as he stepped forward towards Suriel. Suddenly a scream was heard, Markus looked towards the direction and cold sweat washed over his body, that was the direction of one of the mage squads that was channeling the power to seal this monster. "Hahaha! You know Dahlia father always said to be prepared for everything right? Hahaha?" the portal behind Suriel changed from red to blue. Dhalia finally turned around to look at Suriel and ran towards him as he smiled mockingly from within the blue portal. After a few second the blue lights, Suriel, and the portal all vanished. Dahlia dropped on her knees and spoke "My the inhabitants of the world he ends up in forgive us." All the people who heard her last words had a grim look on their faces. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >Runswick City< Parking lot> 9:30 P§®> Inside a blue fancy looking car two people were making out with each other. "Roys go slower this is our firs night together I want it to be special, don''t just jump on me like an animal sheesh!" the woman forced the man back. "Oh please Emilly we love each other this is not fast this is normal!" the man pleaded to the woman. "Oh alright come here!" the woman hugged the man and they returned to their business. While they were making out with each other a loud boom shook their car and a blue light shone right through the windows of the car it was so strong the made them close their eyes. After a few moments, they opened their eyes and looked at each other. "What the hell was that!?" the woman spoke. "I don''t know, is someone using magic? What kind of idiot would use magic at this hour, I will go check it out" the man put on his shirt and slowly stepped out of the car. He looked around until his eyes fell on the thing that was standing before him, long black ripped coat, strange looking boots, black armor like thing on his chest, a black horned mask that covered his entire face but the most noticeable thing about him was one black wing that stuck out of his back. Before the man could speak up the thing spoke with a cold and dark voice "Ahh, those damned mortals, I underestimated them too much, but this portal sucked, it even ripped off one of my wings it hurts like hell!" he yelled. He looked down on the light that shone brightly on the ground and with a confused voice spoke "Where the hell did I end up?" Chapter 2 "Where the hell did I end up?" Suriel looked down on the light that shone even brighter than the stars, he was confused how can there be stars on the ground what kind of place is this? While he was pondering inside his head a hand reached out and grabbed his shoulder, he looked back and stared at the man that grabbed his shoulder with cold eyes the man stared angrily at Suriel. "Hey, buddy you do know what time is it right? Why the hell are you using magic at this hour and at this place seriously! You fucking ruined my night you know, you see that car?" he pointed in the direction of a blue fancy car. "Inside that car is one of the hottest girls in this city and you just ruined my night with your fancy ma...HEY-HEY what the hell are you doing arghhh!?" the man yelled out as Suriel grabbed his wrist and started to slowly squeeze it. "You know mortal, I never liked when someone touched me even in heaven with all those happy and sparkly angels, and now here you are with your dirty hand touching me if I didn''t know a thing about this place I would have killed you the second you dared lay a hand on me" Suriel stopped for a second and stared at the dazzling lights on the ground. "Hmm, actually now that I think about it I don''t really need you do I" Suriel let go of the man''s hand and placed it on his head. "Now tell me everything" the man started to tremble, blood leaked out of his eyes, mouth, nose, and ears his eyes slowly turned black, Suriel released the man and he fell down on the ground, he didn''t breath anymore. "Oh my god Roys!?" Suriel looked at the woman that stepped outside the car, she was screaming and crying at the same time, after a few moments of screaming she turned around and tried to run but she didn''t make it far as one of her high heels broke and twisted her ankle she fell down but that didn''t stop her from trying to get away from Suriel. "How pitiful you are mortal you are now amusing go and feed my pets" Suriel raised his arms and they transformed into two darkness wolfs, but Suriel let out a growl when he saw his wolfs their size was back to that of a normal wolf and their power was cut down considerably. "So it''s like that huh? Releasing those souls I absorbed took so much power from me heh, well done dear little sister well done indeed!" Suriel laughed bitterly as the two wolfs slowly approached their dinner. "No please! Stay back arggraaa!!!" the woman screamed for a few moments as the wolfs toyed with her but that didn''t last long as they gobbled her up, Suriel then ordered them to eat the male which they happily did. "Ahh, I should have absorbed her knowledge first, oh well, the male knew enough and more than I need now let''s see" Suriel eyes flickered for a moment as he started reading the knowledge he acquired from the man. Images flashed before Suriel''s eyes, day he was born, his first days in school, then high school where he took the aptitude test, this intrigued Suriel, it seems that in this world mages are a common thing, the more powerful you are better your social status there are categories starting from the lowest iron, bronze, silver, gold, adamantium, obsidian and the lastly which are considered the strongest mages that only lived in legends the spirit class mages. The images continued, the man was accepted at the Runwick''s magic academy he was a silver class magician, Suriel kept looking at the memories and knowledge the man knew. Suriel frowned as the thing he was looking for was not in the man''s memories and knowledge, the thing he was looking for was a being called god, but it seems the god for these mortals doesn''t show himself. "Well, that''s enough of that let''s see what this world has to offer" Suriel slowly made his way down towards the city of Runswick. "Come-come the ladies await you kind sirs! Come tonight special!" a loud bald man with sunglasses and a suit was yelled as Suriel entered the city and looked around with fascination, he learned from the memories of the man that the society of mortals has made leaps in technological advances, but seeing it with his own eyes he couldn''t help but be a little excited. Suriel kept looking around when he noticed that the people on the street were awkwardly looking at him he heard faint whispers as he passed by. There were all kinds of whispers as he passed by but he didn''t pay them much mind as he simply didn''t care for what mortal say about him, to him mortal will always be inferior and they cal only look up towards him with envy. As Suriel kept touring the city he felt something peculiar and a very familiar feeling, he got excited his eyes started to shine brightly as he speed up his pace at some point he was practically flying. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Inside a dark alley a young girl with bright blond hair almost golden was laying down on a cold and muddy ground she looked no more than seventeen on eighteen years old, there were several bruises on her face and her body her bright azure eyes looked weak and her body was thin as a straw. Three men wearing black suits and sunglasses walked up to her, one of them got down on one knee and took out a strange looking collar, he placed it around the girl''s neck "Laela-Laela how many times have you already tried to escape? You know I am getting tired of coming down to this city and bringing you back all the time why don''t you start being a good girl and behave yourself from now on okay?" the men spoke in a cold voice as he looked down at Laela. "Don...t wa...nt t..ooo" Laela managed to speak up a few words and spit towards the man. "Sigh" "Laela you never learn do you, you are nothing more than a caged fairy that will never escape, those old guys in the lab they will continue to experiment on you until you die do you understand there is no salvation for you!" the man started yelling, he grabbed her head and forced her down into the mud. He got up and turned around towards the other two. "Shock her, before we take her back let''s teach her that it''s better to be a good girl then bad" the man spoke with an amused face. "Yes sir!" one of the men replied and took out a strange looking remote, he pressed one of the buttons, sparks flown from the collar that was around Laela''s neck, she started to tremble , she opened her mouth in pain but no voice came out it was just a soundless scream. "Okay that enough let''s go!" the man from before spoke up as he took out a cigarette from his back pocket. The one holding a remote pressed one of the buttons and the sparks slowly stopped, Laela sobbed in pain as her voice returned, the two men picked her up and slowly started making their way out of the dark alley. "Now that was amusing and entertaining, I should thank my dear sister for sending me to such a great place hehe" a dark and cold voice spoke as a clapping sound was heard. "Whos there!?" the men from before the leader of the trio, took out a gun and pointed it at the darkness, but he saw nothing out there. "Show yourself!" the other two dropped Laela on the ground and took out their guns as well and slowly made their way to their boss. "Now-now that was not nice, isn''t she....umm what do you call it, ahh yes precious experiment right? I think I got it right yeah" the voice spoke with an amused voice and even chuckled a bit. "I don''t know who you are punk, but you are messing with the wrong people now show yourself!" the boss of the trio yelled as a vein on his head popped. "Very well" Suriel stepped outside the darkness when the trio saw him they had a confused face. "What the hell is this freak ahahahaha!!" the boss started laughing and soon the other two followed behind, they laughed at the way Suriel looked and indeed in their world someone wearing a black armour and clothes like Suriel not to mention a black iron mask and a black wing, someone like that is considered a creep in their world. But their laughs didn''t matter to Suriel as the trio weren''t the ones that have caught his eye, it was the girl Laela, Suriel eyed her for a while, then his red eyes flickered he raised his head and looked at the three idiots''s that were still laughing he opened his mouth and spoke with an amused voice. "I knew I sensed it right, well well this is truly amusing a mortal with a blood of a god hahaha truly amusing!" Suriel started laughing, at this moment the trio stopped laughing and had a serious look on their faces as they looked at Suriel. The boss opened his mouth and spoke "Who the hell are, how do you know that?" he asked Suriel carefully. Suriel stopped laughing "A dead man doesn''t need to know right?" When the boss heard Suriel''s words he immediately gave a command "Open fire!" the trio unleashed their guns upon Suriel. "Hoh, what''s this metal filled with magic amusing" Suriel caught one of the bullets that were headed towards him the others just passed through him, the trio had disbeliving eyes as Suriel slowly approached them. "Sss....sir!?" one of the men was terrified as Suriel was almost upon them. "Keep firing!" the boss yelled as he reloaded his gun. "I have grown tired of these games" suddenly Suriel vanished as he was never there, to begin with. "Where the hell did he go!?" the men yelled and looked around but Suriel was nowhere to be found. "Arghhhaaaaaa!!!" one of the men screamed, when the other two turned around the third was gone, he vanished just like Suriel did into thin air. "Aaaarhaaaa!!" one of them started to scream again, and he was gone like the other one. The boss was terrified, he ran towards Laela and pressed his gun on her head "You want this one right? Spare me and she is yours I will kill her if you take one step close to me!" he looked around towards the dark corners of the alley but that made him even more nervous and terrified. "Don''t try to negotiate with me" a cold voice spoke behind the boss before he was able to turn around hands made of darkness grabbed him and dragged him into the darkness, his screams were heard for a moment then a complete silence. Suriel stepped out of the darkness and walked towards Laela. She looked up at him with her weak eyes, she was about to pass out any second from severe pain put she kept them open long enough to take a good look at Suriel and she forced herself to speak a single word. "A...an...angel...." she spoke up just before she passed out.
