《Reincarnation: Immortal Path》 Prologue Prologue Sat on top of the highest mountain, a man wearing an ancient and majestic regalia was watching the scene before him as it unfold. Sadness was the only thing that could be seen in his face. The clear blue sky became gloom as it lost its colors, and the endless expanse of green turned brown approaching his location. If one looked closely, every single leaf on each grasses and trees withered, turning the lands barren, devoid of life. Not long before this event occurred, all the living beings in the World, which was filled with humans and other beings were already gone. It wasn''t unknown to him, nor the cause of this miserable end. The life of their world had already ran out. He didn''t know that such fundamental exist. The man was the only person left, as he was the strongest of all. Regarded as such, yet there were nothing that he could do to stop the destruction. He could only watch it as it approach closer. Powerful, yet powerless before the face of natural law. As the death neared, the man steeled himself as he felt brimming dread approaching, but his body didn''t move nor he flee as it was unnecessary. So futile. No matter what he''d do, he knew what awaited him was only death. Thus, he thought, why prolong it? He didn''t had anyone or anything to spend time with anyway. Amidst the death, he sighed deeply and bellowed. "What the fucking fuck is happening!" Letting out his complaint to the heavens, he could only shout it all out directly. The air vibrated as he roared like a mad man experiencing excruciating pain. Stolen story; please report. "I''ve become the strongest, but why!?.... I still haven''t had a girlfriend! What the fuck!? Dying as a virgin also made me mad! What the fuck?! Who ever decided this, if I ever live through this, I swear! I will fucking castrate you myself!" Accompanied by his latter word was a loud bang in the sky and everything stopped like a clock that ran out of power. And the sky lit up as the ancient and powerful voice descended with words, which would deeply embedded to anyone''s mind once heard. "Shut up!" roared the sky as lightning and thunder descended. The man was scared witless, as he tried to hid himself underground, but the earth seemed like an indestructible object that no matter what kind of dig he did, he couldn''t even sunk his fingers, even with all his might. Then, the voice mocked the man for his cowardice. "Look at yourself. You trained for all your life, yet you''ve become a chicken, instead of a tiger on a mountain." "Who''s chicken, motherfucker!" the man roared with voice like thunder. Then, he remembered whom he was talking to and his face ashened. ''Fuck! I shouted at God! I''m surely dead!'' the man thought frantically, which made him forgot that God could read his thoughts. "Buwahahaha! Hush, young man. I don''t have such intention. I won''t be able to as I restricted myself on destroying what I have created. Since, you are Filled with regrets, I have a proposal for you. Will you hear it or I''ll let you die along with this piece of world?" "L-Let me hear it! Please!" the man cried. "Ahh really, you are truly shameless, aren''t you. Anyway, Here''s my offer, I''ll give you a chance to continue living in another universe, but not all things are free and the charge for this is.... I''ll tell it to you in the near future. For now, you owe me a favor. So~ deal?" "Live in another universe? So that theory truly exist..." the man subconsciously said. "Of course, that''s part of reality and fantasy, both came from uncertainty." the heaven replied. . . . The man pondered the pros and cons for a brief moment and asked. "Will I have a said in where or what kind of place would I be transported? Like in a world like this, but a little bit different?" "Of course not, but I will transport you to where I knew you can unleashed your true potential as a Paragon Of Martial Arts. You might even attain higher standing than where you are now, and a place where there you won''t be bored or I won''t be bored..." The man had gone silent for an hour and after pondering very deeply, he spoke. "Okay, I accept this offer, but please give me a peaceful place to live....." "That, at least I can assure you. So.... are you ready?" The man sighed and spoke with firm determination. "I''m ready!" "Well then, good luck on your new life!" the heavens said as black lightning stuck the man. It wasn''t without pain as it was very painful, which made the man faint for a microsecond, that made it unnoticeable, yet the pain seemed lasted for centuries and the only thing he could do was shout. "Ahhhhhh!" Chapter 1 Chapter 1 The sky was lit as the birds silently sleeping on the tree near a certain window, were rudely distrubed by a loud shout of someone coming from the door. "Ahh! Uahh!" *chirp!* The birds dispersed in hurry, scared by the cry, while inside the 3 story house were also children in different ages, from 1 yr old to 8, and the oldest was 12 years old. "What''s that!?" said the woman in her 20s, as she hurried out of the house. As she opened the door, she was greeted by a cry of a baby, neatly placed inside the basket. "A baby?!" She made a cursory glance at her surroundings, and sighed as she couldn''t found anyone. She was still hoping to see the person that left the poor baby and asked them why they choose to abandon the baby. "People nowadays, how could they bear to abandon such an angel!" the woman exclaimed. She took the baby and found that the baby was a boy. He stopped crying when she carried him, which made her thought, he was looking for someone to carry him. "Poor baby. I''ll take care of you from now on." she said, cooing to the baby boy, which seemingly got tired from crying as he slept. The woman took the baby inside with a smile on her face and close the door of the house. Unknown to her, someone was watching from afar as she carried the baby inside. The unknown person left some words before finally leaving, as the person had already accomplished its mission. "Hope you live a normal life, Young master..." Inside the orphanage, the other children saw Sera carrying a basket and thought it was filled with foods. "Ms.Sera! What''s that? Cookies?" the 4 years old boy asked. Sera chuckled and answered. "No, Jaydee. It''s a baby!" "A baby? I''m not gonna eat a baby!" Jaydee said adorably, which made Sera smile. "If you want cookies, I''ll bake some for you and for everybody." Sera said to the boy. "Yehey! Cookies! Cookies!" Jaydee jumped up and down as he ran towards the other kids. Then, a lady approached Sera. She looked down at the basket with sad expression and didn''t know what to say. "Another abandoned child? What''s parents this days are thinking? That children are expendables? I don''t really know how they think! I wish for their consciences to not let them sleep or live happily." the lady remarked angrily. Sera sighed and put the basket on the table. The baby was still sleeping. When Sera took the baby out of the basket, a letter dropped on the floor and the lady beside her noticed and took it. The lady raised the letter in front of her face and showed it to Sera. "Looks like they abandoned him for good." she said. "What''s that? A letter?" Sera asked. "It drops when you take him out of the basket. Read it, so we can know why they did this." After reading the letter, Sera took the basket and found a money under the blanket. The lady saw it exclaimed in suprised. "Oh my god! It''s Lumirian Dollars! The exchanged rate for this here is 150.63 Floran Dollars! And there seems to be million of it!" Sera immediately covered the money and looked at the lady. "Don''t talk to anyone about this! Promise me, Vienna! If this comes out, we''re screwed!"The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. "I know! Don''t worry, such thing is obvious to me. I promise to not to divulged it to anyone. But what we will do about the money now? We can use it to renovate the orphanage and let the children study!" Vienna said as she smiled. She looked at the baby boy whose name was written on the letter and continued. "Vanz is really an angel. Now that I thought about it. Vanz''s life would might be in danger, which is why they give him to us... Poor child." Sera sighed and carried Vanz on her arms. "We''ll take care of him from now on. After all, he is entrusted to us by his parents. We''ll use the money as you suggested." she said and hummed, while dancing with Vanz on her arms. A year passed as the new baby arrived at the orphanage. All of them were happy to have a cute baby, yet couldn''t bear to show it. Sera, the head manager of the orphanage was the person whom took care of Vanz the most and it made her happy. They renovated and expanded orphanage and make a playground on the orphanage so children could play when they had time after school. Vienna and Sera were amazed at Vanz''s growth. He could speak fluently and walked normally when he was only a year old. He was also very intelligent and could understand things faster than any child his age. It showed that he was indeed special. Sitting in lotus position inside his own room, Vanz was quietly cultivating. Pure Qi gathered around his body shining like a blazing sun in the horizon. The Pure Qi he gathered then coursed through his meridians, muscles, bones and internal organs making it more tougher and stronger. "It has been a year since I arrived to this world, which is very interesting. I think, I must thank God for this... or not..." he said as he feel his body and concentrate more on his cultivation. "3rd Stage of Body Refining Realm, only within a year and I''m only a year old as well. If anybody from my former world know this, they might kill themselves in envy. But, my former world is already gone, forever. Destroyed by the natural laws." he sighed as he remembered it. "My former world isn''t stable, which brought it to its destruction, while this world is very stable. My former world is planar world while this world is in a form of a sphere." Vanz gasped and continued. "Truly amazing. Maybe when I break through to Dao Palace Realm, I will be able to travel to the so called Outer Space." his eyes glinted with determination as he thought about it. His stature wasn''t for a one year older, but for a 3 years old boy already, which made Sera, Vienna and other kids to look at him differently. Then, a voice rang behind the door. "Vanz, it''s dinner time! Come down and eat! Or do you want me to go up there and take you down?!" Vanz paled as he heard it. "No! No! I''ll come down immediately!" he shouted back. "Ugh... That woman is really scary..." he mumbled as he stood and strode out of his room. As he entered the dining hall, the carefree laugh and happy atmosphere greeted him. He didn''t know, but it made him smile as he looked at the scene. Walking towards his seat, Sera was silently watching him. Everything changed when Vanz arrived at the orphanage, it was all because of him that they didn''t had any worries for the future. Many parents visited the orphanage when it was renovated and adopted many children. But of course, they didn''t just gave the children to them, they must underwent a procedure and it was a long one. In the end only the older children were left, most of them were already above 12 years old. As they already had complete understanding of things, they didn''t questioned Sera on why no one wanted to adopt them as they knew it was due to their age. Once they became adults, the orphanage wouldn''t be able to shelter them and they must fend for themselves. Most parents wanted to adopt children around 1 to 6, and of course many wanted to adopt Vanz, but he didn''t wanted to. Some children wondered why, but only those whom already at the teenage know of his reason and they couldn''t blame him for it. "Children, attention." Sera said with a smile on her face. Her voice wasn''t loud, but it brought silence to the hall. "Since we''re all already here, let us start the meal, but first, let''s pray." Sera looked at Vanz and continued. "Vanz it''s your turn today." "But... " "It''s your turn to pray, Vanz." "O-Okay... E-Everyone, let us pray... Let''s bow our heads for a moment... Dear God, thank you for your blessings. The things that you gave us, we hope that you continue to protect us from harm and let us not bewitch by the devil. Thank you for this food and please take care of Ms.Sera and Ms. Vienna the most, we''re wishing all of this in the name of your holy son, amen. Okay, let''s eat!" "Thanks for the meal!" they all said in unison. Watching the scene before him, Vanz felt at peace. This was the first time he felt that way. Even when he became the most powerful individual in his former world he didn''t felt anything like this. He laughed and talked with other kids, like a normal one. He wished that this peace last forever, but he knew that not all things lasted that long and he knew that this would not end well as the life he should walked upon would bite him soon enough and dragged him back. When he first arrived at this new world, he already had awareness in his surroundings. As a result, he knew where he came form, the people whom brought him to the orphanage, and of course his parents, more importantly, the way of life his parents walked upon. It wasn''t all mystery to him. After the dinner, the children walked to their rooms and the oldest ones were left to washed the dishes, with Sera and Vienna. While at that night, Vanz used the time alone to cultivate, his routine everyday. Just like that, many more years passed and the peaceful days will soon be roughly closed. The storm was brewing and on the move to bring disaster in his doorstep. At an uncertain place, inside the small room where nothing could be seen except for a fluorescent light and a chair on which a man was tightly bounded and blind folded with bruises and burned wounds all over his face. Not just that, if one would only looked carefully, one would notice that he hadn''t had any clothes. His body had cut wounds, there were even engraved words, his left hand was broken, feet had holes and rotting while worms squirmed on it and his genitalia was sliced into three. One could say that he had been tortured thoroughly to sing. His eyes lost its light and nose was cut off. This person was the person that brought Vanz to the orphanage. "Boss, what we will do about him now?" said the man that just entered with another two man. "Right, Boss. We already know where that bastard''s child is hiding. We can go now and put holes in his body." the other man said. The man whom they called Boss looked at them and skillfully took his pistol and shoot them at the forehead. They didn''t had time to react as it was too fast for them to follow as they died miserably. The Boss saw the smoke coming from his pistol and blew it like a birthday candle. "I don''t like being told what I should do." he said, then glanced back to the man on the chair. He walked closer and stopped in front of the man on the chair, enough to see his face within the light. While groaning, the man on the chair was obscurely mumbling repeatedly the words ''forgive me'' as though he had done something he would regret even in the afterlife. The man sighed from hearing it and spoke. "One week. You''ve been here for one whole week enduring the tortures we''ve done. At the final time, you give in and sang." the man paused and waited for the man on the chair to speak. Remembering that they cut off his tongue after hearing what he wanted to hear. The man called boss couldn''t help but chuckle in his silliness. "I forgot you don''t have a tongue. Well, you won''t be able to use it anyway... You know what? If you have been become part of our Liege Family, with your loyalty, you might have become my right hand man." then the man sighed and continued. "Such a shame. You really can''t choose your family. Well, as respect to your loyalty to the family you wanted to protect, I''ll personally send you to the afterlife. Remember my name, I am Alfonzo Liege." The man called boss lifted his hand, holding a pistol and pointed it towards the head of the man on the chair. "Good luck..." the man said before pulling the trigger. *Bang!* And everything turned silent with nothing but sound of footsteps that faded along with the light. Anyway, see ya. Chapter 2 Chapter 2 Five years had passed and Vanz was already Six years old. It was the time for him to study in school as a grade school student. When he was in preschool, he had already learned everything he needed to know about this new world. He learned that the world was called, Earth Prime and it wasn''t the only world that existed, and there were many of them, to the point that the grain of sand in the desert would be ashamed. That information opened a question in his mind. Is there another being in another planet? But no matter what he thought about it, that would not be answered, until his cultivation reached to a level when he could venture to the outer space without worrying about his life. Not just that, he also learned the common knowledge that he must possessed to live comfortably on Earth Prime; the existence of science, technology and mathematics. While the children in his age were still playing and studying how to add, Vanz was already calculating volumes, distances, momentums, forces and energy, practicing derivations and integrals and memorizing many languages as it would be essential to him. However, he concealed all of it as he didn''t want to attract attention to himself, until he reached the age when he could make a decision for himself. As of now, Sera were still his guardian and the person that could dictate his life. This was the law of Floran Government, and the common sense of the people living in this new world he stumbled upon. If a boy with that kind of ability suddenly appeared, what was the worst thing could happen? He would be a celebrity, a center of attention. Every move he made would be monitored by people around him and the people he knew would think of him differently. Things that he didn''t wanted to happen. As he would be famous, he''d be vulnerable to dangers. He could defend himself, though, yet for him it was still best to remain anonymous, until the times ripen. Sera knew that Vanz was special and far more mature than his peers. Though, all the children in the orphanage were mature amongst their peers, Vanz was different as he was very intelligent. However, Sera still saw him as a boy who was hungry for attention. "Now, Vanz it''s your first day at grade school. You should introduce yourself politely okay? Make friends and study without worry. Don''t be too mischievous." Sera reminded him. "Okay, I''ll do what Ms.Sera said, but I already have friends here. There are Jaydee, Shara, Allison, Drivon, Richie and the others." Vanz replied. Hearing it, made Sera smile as she locked him in her embrace until he couldn''t breathe. As she released Vanz, he said his goodbye and swiftly slipped through the door of her office. When Vanz was gone, Sera couldn''t help but smile wider. Then, Vienna entered with a cup of coffee on tray. "You look happy. Vanz is really your stress reliever..." Vienna said, putting the cup of coffee on Sera''s desk. Sera smiled at her and spoke. "Thanks." she sipped a little and continued. "I don''t know, but I feel happy every time I see him. After all, he is the sole reason which brought the orphanage to where it is now." Vienna didn''t oppose her and nodded in agreement. "But what if some rich and happy couple without child arrives and plans to adopt him? Will you let them?" Vienna looked at Sera and waited for her answer. "Not going to happen. I won''t let them take my only happiness." Vienna smiled at her response and chuckled. "Anyway, they are here again." Sera said and looked outside of her tinted window, thus she couldn''t be seen looking out at outside perspective. Outside the orphanage was a parked black car with two men who wore black clothes. Vienna spotted them since last week. They thought the two men were resident at the neighborhood, but after asking some people, Vienna found out that they weren''t. "You think we should call the police? They''ve been doing that since last week. I''m getting worried. What if they are part of a syndicate that is kidnapping children and selling their internal organs?" Vienna suggested. Sera nodded and took out her phone. "I''ll make a call now." She dialed 911, an emergency call directly to the authorities. "Hello, is this the police station? Yes, please come at 369 Silverhein Road 71th Street, Highlast District. There are two men outside whom observing our orphanage for a week now. We thought, they are only civilians, but they have arms... We began to worry about our safety... Yes, please hurry." Sera looked at Vienna and spoke. "Let''s wait for the police." After a few minutes passed, the police arrived silently and the black car was still there. Sera and Vienna watched the scene unfold as the police apprehend the suspicious men in black. The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. "Freeze! Put your hands on your head and drop-" *Bang!* One of the men in black fired at the police men who cut off his speech and jumped to the right to hide. Of course, the policemen''s lives were already on the line, thus they didn''t had any choice but to retaliate. The other policeman nearby, hiding behind the parked vehicle docked down and shoot at the foot of the two men in black. *Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!* Four gun shots resounded and the two men in black collapsed on the ground as they unintentionally dropped their guns. The other police man rushed towards the two men in black and kicked them on the face before apprehending them. "You two are under arrest. You have the rights to remain silent and everything you will say will be used against you in court." the police man who kicked the two men in black said as he handcuffed them, while the other police man took the guns the two men in black used in a plastic bag. It would be used as concrete evidence of their retaliation. They locked the two men in black inside the police mobile and drove back to the police station; After several minutes, the police men from before came back and wanted to talked to Sera and Vienna. Inside Sera''s office, the two police men were sitting on the sofa while Vienna walked in with three cups of coffee on a tray for the two police men and Sera. "What can we do for you two officers? Before that, please accept our thanks in behalf of the children that live in this orphanage. We''ve been running this orphanage for decade already, but this is the first time that this happened. Maybe, we should employ a guard from now on." Sera stated. The two people men change glances and the one at her right spoke. "Actually ma''am, we''ve come here to talk to you about that. The police station volunteered to provide security personnel at your orphanage for a month. It is because we''ve found out that those two men are part of a syndicate which kidnapped children and sell their internal organs at a very high price. And those men aren''t the only people around here; there are another group of people from other places that we suspected to be connected to the syndicate. They might come back, for as we can see, your orphanage has more children than other orphanage here on the city." He paused and the police man at the left continued. "That''s right ma''am. If they really come back, we can easily catch them before they even made a crime. However, the decision is still within your power ma''am. If you accept our offer, we need to live alongside the children so we can ensure their safety. And before you make a decision, our service is free ma''am. This is part of our duty, after all." Sera looked at Vienna who nodded at her, indicating that she approved of their offer, after all what''s more reliable guards than trained police men? However, Sera was still hesitant to accept the help of the police, because as of this days, many policemen were corrupt and it was hard for her to trust them. Nevertheless, Sera complied, albeit not fully. Sera sighed and spoke. "Okay, we accept your offer. We will make a room for you within the orphanage, but we have rules here, I hope you respect that. Anyway, thank you for your time, officers." Sera extended her hand and the two police did the same as well as they shook hands. "You don''t need to thank us ma''am, we''re only doing our job. Anyway, we will leave now and come back tomorrow morning." the police man at right said and left. Sera sighed when they left and spoke. "What do you think, Vienna? This is far from what I thought it to be. Now, I don''t feel safe for the children. I think we should hire our own guards, apart from those police." "Stop sighing will you? You''re only scaring away good fortune. And I think so too. I don''t know, but I don''t fully trust those two policemen. Let''s hire our own guards...." Vienna paused and pondered for a moment. When she remembered what she was thinking, she hammered her fist on her hand. "Right! I have someone I know. They''re former Military Soldiers, part time Bouncers and Bodyguards. Those three should be alright. I know them very well." Vienna said to Sera. "Okay, you can call them here, I will interview them." Sera said. "Sure, I''ll call them immediately."Vienna said and left hurriedly, leaving Sera alone in her office as she busied herself with the paper works. Meanwhile, the taxi in which Vanz rode on had arrived at the school where he would study. The taxi stopped in front of the huge gate with walls spread for few hundred meters long and few meters tall. "Boy, we''re here." the taxi driver said. Vanz was familiar with the taxi driver as he adopted one of the children in the orphanage. "Thanks, Uncle. Here''s the payment." Vanz took out 10 Floran Dollars and gave it to the taxi driver, but insisted on taking it. "No, you can keep it. Take this as a good will, but you need to pay next time." the taxi driver said. "You can take this, then next time will be free of charge, what do you think, Uncle?" Vanz said back. The taxi driver scratched his head and spoke. "Okay, I''ll take this then next time will be free; Good luck to you young man." Vanz get off the taxi as the taxi driver drove off. The school wasn''t that big, as it was only a public school. It only had five facilities; the gymnasium, the faculty, the main school building with six stories, a two story Canteen and an open field with nothing but trees and grasses. The school only had three thousand students, most of them didn''t had expenses to enter in a private school where children in their age wished to enter, while some of them were like Vanz. He preferred to enter in a public school, than a private one as most of the students in private schools were spoiled brats, and he didn''t want to deal with those kind of kids. He thought, he was too old for it, forgetting that he was only a six years old. Many students were walking towards their assigned rooms and Vanz was also doing the same. Looking around, he couldn''t found some of the kids that lived in the orphanage as same as him and thought that they were already at in their own classroom, starting the class. He quickened his pace, hurriedly heading to his own classroom as the first bell rang. An indication that the class was about to start and those whom didn''t arrived when the bell stopped would be regarded as late comers. With it was a punishment, either community service or detention. Public schools were strict on their regulations, but troublesome students still appeared, like bullies, class skippers and such, which they wanted to prevent from causing trouble for the school. On his way to the classroom, he passed through the gymnasium''s storage room, which was wide open. A sound came from within. Someone was asking for help. "hmmp, brats..." he said, while fixing his glasses as he continued on his way, ignoring the sound. As he arrived in the classroom, the first bell stopped ringing, as timely as it was, the teacher arrived as Vanz hurriedly sat on the remaining nearby vacant seat, the one in front, before the teacher''s desk. It was obvious that no one wanted to sit face to face with the teacher, but it wasn''t a problem for Vanz. Their teacher was a woman, and she seemed not in the mood. She looked at Vanz with fierce eyes and at the whole class as well, then frowned as though she would kill anyone whom tried to approach her as her eyes locked on the still unoccupied seat. "First day and there''s a skipper already?!" she said with a loud, overbearing voice, summoning rains and thunderclouds. Now, Vanz knew why none wanted to seat on his chair. Taking out a handkerchief from his pocket, Vanz wiped the trickling bits of dew on his face. He took off his glasses and wiped it clean as well, while hearing the giggles of his seatmates. "Hmmp, anyway. Let us continue. I am Devi Villania, or Mrs.Villania for short and I will be your homeroom teacher for the whole year. Any question?" Mrs.Villania said, writing her whole name on the board. As she asked a question, a student on the back raised his hand and his seatmates looked at him with reverence. Probably, because he was courageous enough to ask a question. "Umm, is that your husband''s surname, ma''am?" the student asked, which made all of them to look at him with admiration, even Vanz. Looking at Mrs.Villania''s expression, she seemed not bothered by the question. "Why do you even want to know it? Of course, it''s my husband''s surname. My own surname is Saythan. Do you have another question apart from that?" Hearing her said her surname from her father made them all choke as though they had heard something unbelievable. It was their first time hearing such surname. They thought a surname Villania was already worst, but nothing would be worst than being called Saythan. "Since it is our first day, I''ll spare you for today''s lecture. Meaning, you are free for today, but before I dismiss you, we will do a headcount first." hearing what she said, made the students looked at her differently. She seemed wasn''t a terror as she looked, really unlike her surname. The class room had 31 tables and chairs, signified that there were 31 students as well. After the headcount, Mrs.Villania dismissed the class and all of them rushed outside after their teacher left the room. Since Vanz didn''t have anything to do, he decided to return home and cultivate, further solidifying his cultivation. Chapter 3 Chapter 3 The proximity of Sancemore Public Elementary School where Vanz studied and the Chapter Children Orphanage where he lived was nothing of far in his perspective. Merely several miles away, contrary to what most people thought of it; two rides away before reaching the SPES. As he had nothing in mind on what he should do with his free time, he decided to return straight to the orphanage and cultivate. Currently, he had already broken through the Qi Gathering Realm, 3rd Stage. From the five years that passed, Vanz didn''t neglect his cultivation; the most important thing for him, second only to accumulation of knowledge. He didn''t hastened his cultivation, and remained in a stage for many more weeks before breaking through to another stage after assuring that he had already explored the cultivation stage. It was important as it lessened the burden that breaking through would brought to his body and for the purpose of possessing a larger and more than one Pure Qi Spring once he broke through to Qi Gathering Realm. As of now, he had three Pure Qi Springs fully opened. Vanz wanted to open as many Pure Qi Springs as possible as it would brought ease on gathering Pure Qi in the air, as well as in creating a Dao Seed once he entered Foundation Establishment Realm, which would be greatly helpful once he attempt to create his own Completely Perfect Dao Tree, a requirement for Immortal Ascension aside from Immortal Core and Immortal Meridians. However, perfection wasn''t easily acquired without difficulty. Vanz knew that it would be very hard to achieve, but he wouldn''t back out just because it was almost impossible. A one percent possibility was enough encouragement for him. He had done it in his previous life, and he swore to do it again even the world where he lived now was different. It would be very much time consuming and probably needed many treasures, but Vanz was much more inclined in searching for this treasures as he would regret not exploring this entirely new world of his. On his way out of the school, Vanz stumbled upon a piece of paper that was attached on a bin of trash, huge enough to be a coffin for an adult person. Without looking inside through physical means, Vanz already knew that a kid was inside the empty bin of trash. As he was already at Qi Gathering Realm, he could use his Spiritual Awareness as his eyes, ears and body to sense things that was not within his grasp. He could expand his Spiritual Awareness for 300 meters, and with the supplement of his three Pure Qi Springs, it could still be extended with a total of 1,800 meters in an intangible sphere of influence. All concealed things that was within his Spiritual Awareness were nothing but pebbles on the sidewalk for him, buildings that were taller than mountain. He could easily see them as though he was close to them even though he only had one body. Which means, he could observe all things that was within his Spiritual Awareness. As of now, he could only observe through his Spiritual Awareness, but once he entered Qi Condensation Realm, he could not only use it to observe, but to influence things as well. A power given to those that broke through to Qi Condensation Realm after closing the Pure Qi Space, which then be called Spiritual Space. Once he closed and made boundaries around his Pure Qi Space, it would be deterrent for further expansion without his own decision. Vanz walked towards the bin of trash and opened it. A kid with the samd age as himself came into view. The kid was taller than him, but thin like a stick and definitely had a timid nature. He wanted to ask how the kid end up inside the bin of trash, but he changed it as he already knew it and didn''t needed an confirmation. "Are you okay?" Vanz asked simply. The kid groaned and sat up like nothing happened. He heard Vanz and spoke. "I-I''m a-alright. You should leave before they return. If they found I''m being helped by someone, they''ll definitely not let you leave. Worst, we both will be confined inside the trashbin." The kid said and warned him as well, but Vanz wasn''t affected. He arranged his glasses and turned around as he started walking, but stopped after four steps. "If you can tolerate what they are doing to you, then you''re the one who''s at fault. Because you let them bully you. You mustn''t think if what you''re doing is right or wrong. I advice you to walk towards the guidance office and confess their wrong doings." Vanz said and left for good, not wanting to be involve in childish fight.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. As he left the SPES, Vanz immediately return home on a bus as his money wasn''t enough to pay for a taxi. "Maybe, I shouldn''t have paid that uncle..." he mumbled and entered the bus, which drove off after making sure that no seat was left unoccupied. The bus moved for an hour before reaching the bus station few kilometers away from the orphanage. Vanz didn''t rode on another vehicle, but only walked to reach the orphanage. When Vanz reached the orphanage, he saw Ms.Vienna walked in with three people; two male and one female. And they seemed knew each other well as they talked with various things using past tenses on their words, indicating that they were talking about things that already happened. Vanz approached them. Ms.Vienna saw him and waited for him. "How''s school, Vanz? And why are you so early? Did something happen?" Ms.Vienna greeted him. "Hello, Ms.Vienna. No nothing happened. Our homeroom teacher is still lazy to start a lecture at the first day of school." Vanz looked at the three people and continued. "Anyway, who are they? They seemed... new?" "Ha-Ha! You''re eyes are good young man. I''m Grille, this man beside me is Bones, and this lady is Ouria. We''re here to apply as a full-time guards. You know, the city is becoming more dangerous at each passing days, because of those syndicates. Anyway, why are we talking here outside? Let''s get inside and meet the beautiful manager!" Grille said loudly and walked like a muscle man, waving his arms packed with muscles towards the entrance of the orphanage, leaving the four with dumbfounded expressions... "Well... I can say that Grille still didn''t change after many years... Anyway, let''s go and stopped that man from scaring the children inside." Ms.Vienna took Vanz''s hand and walked. "Come, Vanz. I''ll bake you your favorite cookies as a present for advancing in grade school.." She looked at Bones and Ouria and continued. "You too, get inside. Sera is waiting in her office. Good luck at the interview." Then, a huge man shouted at the entrance. "Hey, where''s the Manager''s office?!" "It''s on the third floor!" Ms.Vienna shouted back and dragged Vanz to the kitchen. Vanz baked cookies and shared it to the other children, afterwards he headed straight to his room and locked himself inside as he quietly cultivate. Pure Qi gathered around. On his will, all that touched his skin was smoothly refined before entering his body, flowing through his meridians and entering his Pure Qi Space. Which then, gathered at one point and formed into an spinning vortex of Pure Qi, several meters away from the three existing Pure Qi Springs. The Pure Qi Space was akin to a hollow, bare and desolated land inside his body. It was an imaginary space where everything was affected by his cultivation. Currently, he was only at the Qi Gathering Realm which signify the endless barren land within. To break through to Qi Condensation Realm, the Pure Qi Springs he excavated were needed to be connected. Creating a boundary, closing the Pure Qi Space. The more Pure Qi Springs he excavated, the more difficult it was to connect all of them as the required Pure Qi needed for creating a connection was becoming more huge. However, each one Pure Qi Springs successfully connected would provide him great boost in physical prowess, strengthening his Spiritual Awareness and comprehension to the Dao. In his previous life, he studied and experimented on it than any other beings, which became the reason he was regarded as the most strongest. He discovered something very important; that the Pure Qi Spring could be expanded, which many said and proved impossible to be done, yet he succeeded. However, he only achieved it after several long and painful adventures. Not mentioning what were those adventures, he could say that expanding one Pure Qi Spring was enough to cause a empire''s whole treasure trove to be empty. The Bloody Thorny Fruit was the only treasure that could expand a Pure Qi Spring, but it must be concocted into a Fortune Star Pill and the other ingredients for it were also a treasure like the main ingredient mentioned; those were the Emerald Star Fruit, Four Clove Plant and White Crying Root. The Emerald Star Fruit could provide an astronomical amount of Pure Qi when concocted and it was a 5-angled yellow fruit of star shaped cross section and became an emerald when ripe. The Four Clove Plant was the hardest ingredient to be found as it could only appear once every ten thousand year, while the White Crying Root was deadly as it could evaporate a person''s life force in an instant once handled wrongly, even an Immortal King died from this deadly root. It wasn''t an exaggeration as Vanz witnessed it before in his previous life. However, that wasn''t the hardest part on acquiring a White Crying Root, as it was always accompanied by a Primal Beast which had a prowess equivalent to an Foundation Establishment Realm Expert, while those whom needed this root were only at the Qi Gathering Realm. The only question left on his head was.... Does those ingredients also existed in this world? That was the question endlessly running in his head. If those ingredients weren''t existing in this world, Vanz could only painfully redirect his cultivation path and his future cultivation would be limited to merely a lowly Immortal Ascendant. Fortunately, the world where he reincarnated had a very dense Pure Qi, which made the possibility of those ingredients existing higher. The only thing he needed to do was search for them. As he pondered on it overnight, he found the best way he could do as of his current situation. A child wondering the forest was a very strange thing if anybody would asked, but why search for it personally if he could use the internet? One click and results would display on the screen. Such technology didn''t failed to amaze him. The morning came and it was his second day as a grade one student of SPES. Since, he wasn''t in hurry, he decided to head to school then search for the ingredients of Fortune Star Pill after the school ended. He came to school after going through a tight embrace with suffocation and feeding frenzy until he vomited. At school, the class was boring for him, but he persisted until the dismissal and head straight to the orphanage. There were nothing mentioning happened in the class, only a boring lecture and easy seatworks. Those seatworks were easy as he could answer them all correctly, but to not attract the teacher''s attention, he intentionally answered wrongly 30% of the questions. There was no primary introduction like most classes did as Mrs.Villania wasn''t interested neither in their names nor their hobbies, and their profiles were already on her hand a long time ago. Meanwhile, the kid that Vanz saw in trashbin was still inside the trashbin. He didn''t left even after Vanz told him to confess the wrong doings that had been done to him. But, those words still lingered in his mind, echoing in a black endless space. However, he didn''t had the courage to do it. Worried that if he do it, all that those bullies did to him would only escalate and he would suffer in the end. Not only that, he also worried that if he confessed them, they would suffer far from what they did to him and he was too kind, merciful and compassionate to let it happen. If people or Vanz had known what the kid was thinking, he might kowtow while crying in front of him, due to his exceeding kindness, that could be seen as stupidity by other people. "Maybe, this is the reason why, mother and father didn''t love me, but what can I do? I''m too afraid to hurt others even in an indirect way. I will stick to my principle. I-I will endure this. They might become bored of me and leave me in the end. That''s right... That way, I won''t be able to hurt other people..... I will endure... I will endure..." the kid curled and hugged his knees inside the trashbin as he repeatedly mumbled the latter words, hidden in the colorful world of the children playing and laughing outside the trashbin. While chanting, concealed to the kid, an unknown energy was surging within his consciousness. It was violent and domineering like a tsunami that would washed away everything in its path, paving the land with destruction. This would be reality once this energy exploded within him, killing everything in his proximity. Chapter 4 Chapter 4 Sera was working inside her office, frowning and sighing as she dealt with the paperworks. In this case, she wasn''t facing the papers but the desktop. At this age, the old ways had been obsoleted and informations was stored not inside a room filled with papers, but inside the memory cards and flash drives. The sound of keys being pressed resound in her ears as she halted when someone behind the door knocked. *Knock! Knock! Knock!* "Come in, the door is open." she said and three people entered the room. One was tall and mascular which would gave a thought that he lived in a gym, the man next to the mascular man was also tall, but had a thin stature like a stick, and the last person was a woman, but had an air of a man around her. She was without a doubt a lesbian. The three didn''t sat on the sofa as soo as they entered, but stood on the door and looked at Sera, waiting for her offer for them to sit. Sera eyed them before she spoke. "You''re the people that Vienna spoke of." "Yes, Ma''am!" they said in unison. "Oh right, you can take a seat." she said as she noticed that they were only standing. The three sat on the sofa and the interview started.... After Sera bombarded them with several personal and professional questions, she ended the interview. "Actually, since you three are referred by Vienna, you''re already employed. Anyway, come back here tomorrow to start your duty." Sera said and sent them out. Shortly after the interview, Vienna entered the room with cookies and hot choco on hand. She placed them on Sera''s table spoke. "So how are they? They aren''t bad, right? Except for that big man.... He is like that but he is very reliable." "I trust your words, Vienna." Sera said, took a bite on the cookie she took and continued. "I just want to talk to them and you four seemed knew each other for a long time... " "Oh that? We are former employee in four star restaurant. That''s before I became your assistant. Anyway, its already in the past...." Seeing Sera eat five cookies in a row she asked a question. "So how''s the cookies?" "Not bad, it''s more delicious than you baked yesterday. You''re improving." she mused and sipped on the hot choco. Vienna chuckled and spoke. "Actually, I''m not the one who baked it, Vanz did. I just helped him prepared the ingredients. I didn''t know that a cookie can be this good you know. He might become a good baker someday." "Oh really?! Then, I must eat all this and don''t waste them." Sera said as she hit the hand that tried to claw one of the cookies. Vienna rubbed her hand and glared at Sera. "Hey! Give me some! I helped to bake that too!" "No, sorry. Vanz, baked this for me. If you want, you can bake yourself a cookie." Sera said and hid the cookies on the drawer of her table, while Vienna left the room, grumbling. Meanwhile, in Vanz room, the light that surrounded him gradually diminished as only his stature left. Sitting in meditative position with both hands interlocked and had a calm breathing. Many hours had passed since he started cultivating and it was already noon. The sun was already near the western hemisphere of the planet and was about to set. The stars and the moon were peeking out of the sky, yet stil unnoticed, while the sky slowly turned orange, then turning into dark blue with specs of yellow. Looking out of the window, Vanz noticed that the sun had descended the moment he opened gis eyes. "Its evening already? I used up most of my time cultivating..." he glanced at the clock hanging on the wall and continued. "Ms.Sera won''t allow me to leave the orphanage, even allowing me in her office. I''ll just ask after dinner then..." Vanz once again closed his eyes and looked inside his Pure Qi Space, with his attention locked on the Pure Qi Vortex in a conical shape, crackling with intense lightning and heat. The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. The vortex was already enough to excavate a new Pure Qi Spring, but it wasn''t enough to be deep similar to the first three Pure Qi Springs. It would cause a problem once he tried to connect them. Therefore, Vanz didn''t immediately excavated a new Pure Qi Spring as he knew the problem it accompanied. Patience was one of the things that needed by a cultivator if he wanted to climb higher mountains and alps. "Vanz, it''s dinner time!" shouted by Vienna outside. Vanz hurriedly left his room the moment he heard it, and headed straight to the mess hall. After the small prayer, they all started eating and Vanz swiftly finished his own. He then approached Sera. "Ms.Sera..." Vanz called tucking her sleeve. "Oh what is it, Vanz? Do you need something?" she asked. "umm, yes. I need to use a computer. Can I use your computer?" Vanz started. "Of course you can, but I thought your teacher dismissed you early and didn''t gave you an assignment?" "Yes, but I want to search about our topic tomorrow. It''s about fruits, and Mrs.Villania is our homeroom teacher. I just want to study for tomorrow." he said. "Mrs.Villania? I know her. She''s a good teacher, but a little bit strict... Okay, you can use the desktop at my office. Here''s the key. After you''re done using it, locked the office and sleep, understand?" "I understand. Thanks, Ms.Sera. I''ll go now." Vanz said and left. Vanz arrived at Sera''s office and entered. To make sure that no one could disturb him, he made sure to lock the door in case someone tried to barge in. Sitting in front of the desktop, Vanz started searching for the ingredients of the Fortune Star Pill. "Now, let''s search." Typing the key word, informations appeared on the screen. The photo of Bloody Thorny Fruit appeared and it was exactly like the one in his previous world, but the thorns of the fruit weren''t sharp and the name was also different. The fruit''s name was Rambutan, a red and spiny fruit closely related to lychee. The moment Vanz saw the fruit, he doubted that it was the same fruit he knew in his previous world. He also suspected that it was the same with the other ingredients, the White Crying Root, Four Clove Plant and Emerald Star Fruit. And it was exactly as he thought. The Four Clove Plant was still the same, but the name change into a Clover with four leaves and it was considered as a lucky memento. The White Crying Root change into an Onion and the Emerald Star Fruit change into a Carambola fruit. "I think, I should examine this things. The kitchen, might have some... Specially, this Onion thing as it widely used in cooking foods. I can''t believe that one of the ingredients of Fortune Star Pill is part of the food that I eat, everyday." he signed and left the office. Before he headed to his room, he passed by the kitchen and grabbed an Onion. Inside his room, he examined the Onion and found an enormous amount of Pure Qi within, and a couple of unknown energies, which he confirmed as Extreme Yin Qi and Golden Water Qi, exactly similar to the energies that existed in the White Crying Root from his previous world. This discovery made him smile as the possibility of the other ingredients remaining unchanged existed, even if the percentage was low. "One ingredient down. I''ll pass by the mall tomorrow after school... For now, I will continue cultivating." he said to himself as he closed his eyes and gathered pure qi in the air. In Body Refining Realm, body could still be exhausted as the stimulation on the body was too much for the mind to handle, but Vanz was in the Qi Gathering Realm, peak of 3rd stage and through meditation and cultivating, the mind was being healed, as well as the body and spirit, by which the excess Pure Qi and sliver of Spiritual Qi hidden within the air were the nourishments that the his body involuntarily took. It was always this way, which made Cultivators in his previous world preferred cultivating and gathering pure qi, even their Pure Qi Springs could provide them pure qi, better than normally sleeping. Efficient and brought great benefits to their body and spirit. As the mind or consciousness was within the spirit, it was also being nourished as the Spirit took the thin Spiritual Qi. Night ended and a new day arrived. The sun''s first ray pierced through the window, illuminating the whole room, but the brilliance that expelled the darkness wasn''t from the sun''s light, instead from Vanz. The glow of his skin gradually dimmed as he opened his eyes. With a height of 4ft 29in, he swiftly stood and stretched his body. Low sounds of bones cracking resounded from his whole being. He closed his hands into fist, feeling the electrocuting energy surged through his meridians that breakingthrough brought. Vanz was on the doorstep of 4th stage of Qi Gathering Realm and the vortex of pure qi inside his Pure Qi Space became a tornado that could drilled anything, ready to excavate a fourth Pure Qi Spring. However, Vanz still wasn''t satisfied with it. At this point, the tornado of pure qi couldn''t be controlled by him anymore and would excavate a new pure qi spring on its own. It only needed time stabilizing itself. There were nothing he could do as forcing it to drill would hamper his cultivation. Going against the flow of the river sometimes end up badly. His lips curled as he headed in the bathroom, with a towel, toothbrush and soap needed to prepare for school. As he came out of his room, the eyes of the children were locked towards him. His white unblemished skin, deep dark eyes, disheveled black hair reaching his neck, his fine nose line and slightly small lips truly attracted attention to himself. The handsome face was given from when he came to life by his biological parents, but the tone of his skin was part of the physical effect of cultivating, apart from increase of physical prowess. However, it wasn''t eternal as time passed by, he would change into an old man and die if he didn''t reached immortality in due time. Some cultivators in his previous world whom sought youthful appearance, sometimes sacrificed their lives or lives of others, just to maintain it. However, their lifespan still had an end, if and only if they became Immortals, only then their lifespan would be endless, with it was the ability to change their appearance at will, ranging from being an energetic youth to an old sage. After taking a bath, Vanz proceeded to the mess hall for a breakfast before the bus arrived. The bus was owned by SPES and rented by the orphanage. This was immediately implemented after the incident regarding the syndicate. A few moments later, the bus arrived outside the orphanage, all the children that studied in SPES hurriedly choose their seats and Vanz rode on the backseat. Many wanted to share a seat with him, but he ignored them all as he opened a book and quietly read throughout the journey to school, while some chatted and play. As they arrived at school, they all headed tp their classrooms and Vanz did the same. The moment he entered the door of the classroom, he was greeted by four kids at the age of 11. He clearly knew that they weren''t Grade 1 students as they wore their IDs which said they were Grade 5. Vanz ignored them and walked out of their way towards his seat as their teacher was about to arrive. It seemed cowardly, but what could he do? They were kids, and he would not hurt kids because they blocked his way. It was nothing to him as he was not a prideful devil at all. He wasn''t their target either way, but the kid that came after him. The same kid he saw that was confined in the trashbin. The moment the kid entered the room, the other two kids grabbed his arms and dragged him outside. Right at that instant, Mrs.Villiania arrived at the door, however, she ignored them with some reluctance. "The bullying isn''t simple as it appears." Vanz mumbled lowly, but the Mrs.Villiania with her sensitive ears heard him clearly. She looked at him and thought how did he came with such precise speculation, that only adults could do in first glance, while he was only a seven year old kid. She only shook her head, signing when she remembered what the school principal told her. Walking to her desk, she started the class with a roll call, the same as usual. Chapter 5 Chapter 5 "Tomorrow, you will have a quiz about what we''ve discussed today, understood?!" Mrs.Villiania said loudly. "Yes, ma''am!" the children answered in unison. Nodding to their answer, she gave her blessing for the birds to spread their wings and flap back home. "Okay, class dismiss!" The class was quiet when she said it, but the moment she left the classroom, immediately a loud cheers and chatters resounded within the classroom as some kids hurriedly ran out while shouting, and some chatted as they laughed before leaving. Vanz left the room as well the moment the teacher left and followed to the place where the Grade 5 kids took his classmate. With his spiritual awareness as a guide, he easily followed them as his feet brought him to the boundary between the school and the small forest that was famous for couples when midnight. Vanz immediately spotted them as he focused his spiritual awareness to the four kids, and he was astounded on what he found. The four kids wasn''t human at all! Not with their bodies made of flexible metals, synthetic polyethylene and other inorganic matters. They were very difficult to differentiate with a genuine human as they wore a skin simply similar to a human''s skin in both structures and appearance. If he didn''t swept them with spiritual awareness, he wouldn''t be able to know such intriguing fact. In his previous world creating an artificial human like in front of him was very easy. In fact, there were many kinds of Secret Technique that could be cultivated to make a body, either a beast body or a human body. However, seeing an artificial human in front of him truly amazed him. How the humans of this world create something such as that? Truly fascinating. A world with no cultivation system could create a very complicated thing like an artificial human with complete body parts and functions similar to a genuine human body made only from material things. Vanz had read many sciences books, biology books, astronomy, physics books, as well as fictions and novels and many more. As a result, his horizon was broadened by reading it. He didn''t know that a human body hid many secrets than what he knew. His former world didn''t care about studying the human body as they focused on cultivating, treading the bloody path towards Immortality. The difference of his former world and the his new world was the universal system that dominated the world. In Earth Prime, the people adhere more on the law and act according to the regulations. Properly obeying the law that what they knew was right. The people of this world, the past generation was raised in time where war was a normal occurrence, death and killing was normal for survival, but the present generation were all educated, living in peace as they already forgotten the past. However, in Vanz''s perspective, it was because people were afraid of the law as they weren''t powerful as the law and the people that imposed it. If this people was kidnapped into a world like his former world, he guessed that they might didn''t remain alive long and immediately meet their end. Because his world was much harsher than this new world. The fact was, no matter what world it was. Power is still the most important thing that a person must have if living peacefully without worries is what he want. Power came into different forms. Money, Authority and Strength. In Vanz''s case, he had strength. For him, the other two were nothing but worldly matters. For him that pursued Immortality, he had no use of such trivial things, for he could obtain those things as long as he wanted. The four androids were ganging up on one weak kid as it was what they were commanded and the kid even after what they all did to him didn''t even retaliate. "I know that he is kind and softhearted, but this is too much... Do he want to be a saint? If yes, then he is over qualified." Vanz remarked casually. "Now, I know what''s really happening. If my guess is right, this kid came from a powerful family and his family want to change his attitude."The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement. Vanz nodded to himself as he caught the gist of the situation. "If I were his father, I might do the same... He will be a weak leader of a powerful family if he''s too kind. He can be easily fooled by others and that''s not good either." Sensing Mrs.Villiania approaching their location with a scowl, Vanz didn''t revealed himself as he hid on the bushes several meters away. The moment Mrs.Villiania saw what the four kids was doing to the frail kid from her class, she grew mad even more. Immediately she shouted. "Stop!" Mrs.Villiania pushed the four kids away from her student as she helped him stood. "Can you walk Erence?" she asked and the answer she could only get was groans. She sighed and said. "Come, I''ll take you to the infirmary." Erence was small and not that heavy, so Mrs.Villiania didn''t had difficulty carrying him. As they arrived at the infirmary, the school nurse was out on a break, since they weren''t teaching, their lunch break was longer than the teachers in the school. Thus, Mrs.Villiania was the one whom treating his injuries, instead of the nurses. The four android which were still at the location was about to left when their eyes lost its light as they fell on the ground. They were deactivated and the controllers of the four android were in panic. "What''s happening?! Who deactivate them?!" shouted a man that seemed to be the boss in a command room. "Commander, we''ve lost signals of the androids, but we still know their location due to their trackers." said by one of the men seated next to a computer. "Make an immediate order to our agents near the place. Reclaim them at all cost! Don''t let any civilians see them laying there like rocks or they might suspect them!" the commander shouted. "Immediately, Sir!" answered by one of the men facing the computer. Then, a man in military uniform entered the room and stood beside the commander. "Commander, the present method didn''t worked. We need more stimulation. One with emotional and physical impact to the subject or this will be a failed mission. I suggest to reclaim the androids for now and let the subject make a single friend... or more. Then, at that time we''ll move." The Commander looked at the man and spoke. "Changing one''s mental attitude, while being careful not to cause too much stimulation. This is really hard than defusing a time bomb. Well then, let us change our ways....." Back to Vanz location, the four androids laid before him. He knocked them out for the purpose of imprinting his spiritual awareness to them, as well as engraving a Formation in them. Vanz was aware of the trackers that was placed inside the androids, and he destroyed it first before doing what he planned. Losing the location of four androids, the command room where the four androids were being monitored and controlled became frantic. "Sir, we''ve lost the four androids location, Sir!" "Someone has tampered with their tracker!" "Group Alpha, come in! Immediately go to this coordinates and report back what you see! Apprehend anyone you see, and if possible silence them!" the Commander shouted with anger evident in his voice, as well as frustrated. "Roger!" replied the agent, leader of group alpha, as they sped up on their pace. At the moment, Vanz had already finished placing the formation inside the core of the four androids. It was done simply by writing formulas with the use of pure qi and spiritual awareness. One of the simple ways to make a formation. In his past life, he studied about Formation as well, apart from Alchemy. Like in Alchemy, it was only his past time. People that studied Formations were called Formation Masters and the view of people on them was similar to an Master Alchemist. Living for million of years, Vanz was both a Grand Master Alchemist and Formation Grand Master. . Thus, he was knowledgeable about Formations and the formation he placed on the four androids was called, Mind Hive Formation. It was a mystical formation that many Formation Masters studied thoroughly as it was very magical. It was done by placing thousand formulas on the core of a person, and for non-living things at their center. Then, wove it into a sphere of formulas creating a virtual space which then become a storage for memories, a virtual space which was endless. The Mind Hive Formation was widely used by sects and empires for communicating with their people. A person only needed to store a bit of his Pure Qi Signature in the Mind Hive of another person and they could immediately talk to each other even millions of miles was between them. In particular, a communication formation. The Mind Hive was often placed on small objects like rings, earrings and such for convenient use. The Mind Hive Formation could be destroyed simply by crushing the formulas with Pure Qi or destroying the object itself. This was just like the cellular phone that the Earth Prime had. But in a unique addition as it gave the object an awareness, or consciousness that could only receive orders from its creator, more like an advance artificial intelligence that could not only accept command codes, but words from its creator. And this what Vanz gave to the four androids. He upgraded their system by simply laying a formation. Now, they would not follow any orders from others, but only words from Vanz. At first, Vanz only hypothesized it. However, after seeing them stood up and bowed before him, he could say that it was a success. He tampered with the Mind Hive Formation as he added some functions. Merging the Mind Hive Formation with Soul Puppet Formation, now he had four puppets to do his dirty works. Sensing some people nearing his location, he immediately ordered the four androids to leave the place and head towards the small forest and hid themselves, unless told otherwise. After ensuring that the four androids had hid themselves perfectly, Vanz focused his attention to the approaching people, but at the back of his head, he could still sense the four androids which was a good thing. Not far from his hiding place, a group of men in black suits entered his vision. Vanz knew they were not normal as they had an energy similar to Pure Qi around them, only inferior to some degree to Pure Qi. "That''s right, that energy is Chi..... Interesting..." he mumbled and an idea came to his mind. Unlike Pure Qi, Chi was a lower form of energy. It wasn''t present in the air like Pure Qi and those that cultivated Chi weren''t Cultivators, but Martial Artists. They practiced and trained their bodies to exceed their limits. Instead of forming a pure qi springs, they were creating a Dan inside their bodies. Refining Pure Qi into Chi and stored it in their Dan. They had their own stages, which followed according to the color of their Dan; White Dan, Yellow Dan,Orange Dan, Green Dan, Blue Dan, Purple Dan,Brown Dan, Red Dan and Black Dan. Respectively, ranked as Disciple, Elite, Adept, Master, Grand Master, Elder, Guru, Sage and Powerhouse. Also divided into Level 1 to 9. (A/N: e.g. Level 6 Disciple.) It was the ancient system of his former world before the path to Immortality was discovered. The men in black suits searched for their objective, but they didn''t found anything, not even a trace of it. Then, a rustling sound came from the bushes. "Who is it?! Show yourself!" the one that seemed to be the group leader shouted. The rustling stopped as they surrounded the bushes, waiting for what was hiding in the bushes with alerted senses and battle stances. What a mere second passed was like a lifetime as their hearts were filled with suspense. But, it all disappeared when the four androids came out. They all let out a sigh of relief as they saw what it was. Though, they were experts in field works, they still couldn''t helped but felt an odd sense of dread at this sudden mission and they didn''t know why. The four androids in a form of a kid was in front of them, standing without a blink. Seeing that there weren''t any threats, even so, the dreadful feeling still hadn''t disappeared. It was... a foreboding, so the group leader commanded two of his team members to scout the perimeter, before immediately reporting back the command room. Chapter 6 Chapter 6 "Commander, we''ve collected the androids and we didn''t spot any irregularities at the surroundings. Looks like the androids just had a system malfunctions. They look perfectly fine, though." the Alpha Group leader said, on no one but to the person on his advance transceiver device. The mission was a top secret, thus they would do anything just to ensure the secrecy of it, even if they must kill a civilian. The advance transceiver only had a single frequency installed, and it was the Command Center of Floran Military. "Good. Don''t remain there any longer. Return here as soon as possible. That''s an order, Agent Alpha." the Commander stated. "Roger!" replied, Agent Alpha, before turning off the device. Then, one of his men approached him. "Leader, what are the orders?" The leader looked at the man and spoke. "We are to return at the Command Center immediately. That''s the order. Tell Adders and Droner about it, and be cautious. We aren''t at the Command Center; we''re still in the mission. Something might always happen... Colin, Bellec, I''m serious." "Yes, Sir!" the two said in unison. "Hehehe, relax leader." the man named Colin said and left with Bellec standing nearby, leaving only the leader on the site with the four androids. After seeing them neglect his advance, the leader''s face became helpless as he signed. "They didn''t know the seriousness of the situation." In his past missions, his guts were one of the reasons he was still alive. It saved his life many times, he would always believe in his guts no matter what, and his guts said that they were in danger. He could feel it. The concealed killing intent that the whole forest emanated, which was strange. Usually, he would felt killing intent at a certain direction, but sensing killing intent on the whole forest was out of his experience. It was new, more like the most dangerous kind as he could say that he might die this time. Vanz was only watching them, but now that the leader was alone, he could make his move. Concentrating his killing intent at one point, Vanz had successfully caught the leader''s attention. The leader''s heart beat faster as he heard a rustling sound from behind, at the same time, the direction his senses were telling him to avoid. With all his courage, the leader exposed his back on the four androids which the timing when the four androids stepped forward and attacked the leader. They all rushed at the leader with their foot raised in the air, aiming at the leader''s wide back. At that instant, the leader''s instinct was screaming to evade, but the four androids were much faster as the leader felt pain on his back. Being a Level 7 Elite Martial Artists, the most common 9mm handguns wouldn''t be able to injure him, but the force of the android''s kick was way beyond it. The first kick connected as the leader coughed up, but it hadn''t ended yet as another foot reached the leader''s back, followed by another kick which caused his back to crack and by the fourth kick landed the leader was blown away for few meters. The leader didn''t have time to warn his teammates as he fell behind the bushes, unconscious. By the time the four men came back, their leader was nowhere to be seen and the androids were still standing at their initial position, with no sighs of movement. They wondered where their leader was, but seeing no difference on the place, they didn''t suspect that something bad had happened to their leader. As they let their guards down and became too lax, it was the time when the four androids moved. They walked towards the four men in black suits, slowly. Seeing this, however, the four men didn''t even moved and only watched the four androids. At first they were perplexed, but even so they only kid about the four androids. "Look..." the man named Droner that was the shortest, pointed his finger at the four androids.¡±They are walking. Nothing seems wrong with them. By the way, do you know where the leader is?" "I don''t know. But he''s just around, you know discarding." another man named Adders said as he lit a cigar with a lighter, which slipped out of his hand and fell on the ground. He grumbled and crouched as he retrieved the lighter that fell. This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon. "It''s getting late, I''ll find the leader." Bellec said as Colin left with him. Searching for the lighter on the ground, Adders spoke. "They are always like that. If I didn''t know that they have wives, I would have suspected them as homos. Hahaha! Oh found it." Droner chuckled at his words and saw the androids standing behind Adders as he stood. He was alarmed and shouted. "Adders, behind you!" However, it was too late. One of the androids threw a kick on Adders as he flew towards Droner and they bumped on each other. Adders had fainted. Droner pushed him away and stood with his senses active. Droner sensed something behind as he threw a kick at the incoming android and their foot connected. The android flew back as Droner''s kick was more powerful. It was imbued with Chi which destroyed the shoe of the android and pelted its skin as the metallic foot came into view. However, the androids had no senses to feel pain, thus it stood up immediately after being knocked down. It wasn''t seriously damaged, only bent toes and deformed foot, pointing on opposite direction. The problem wasn''t completely finished yet. The four androids rushed at Droner simultaneously and it was astonishing, seeing them run towards him he thought something was controlling them. The only one he could think of was the Command Center... But the Command Center would not treat them as disposable. Thus, Droner thought that it was their enemies, but whom? They had many enemies in the underworld and none of them had the capability to sabotage the four androids. "Argh!" Droner imbued his fists with Chi and punched the income android, but it dodged like it had its own mind. Tilting its body in the air and the punch missed its body with hairs breath, skin on its face had felted. Landing beside Droner, it swung its leg at Droner''s ankle to destroy his center of gravity. Knowing this, Droner quickly evaded the attack by jumping, but he didn''t sense the other android behind him. The moment he jumped, another android attacked and gave him a flying drop kick at his back, sending him flying at the tree trunk as he fell unconscious. Not long after, the two men, Colin and Bellec returned, alarmed as they saw the beaten state of their teammates. Unlike Adders and Droner, Colin and Bellec draw their high caliber handgun as one of them approached the unconscious Droner beneath the tree. They knew that whoever beaten the two unconscious men, was stronger than them, thus they needed an assurance and they also thought that their leader was already taken out as well. Something that they wouldn''t be able to believe until they hadn''t saw it in their own eyes. Group Alpha was an elite group composed of five members. They had two people skilled in guns, and another two in close combat, while their leader was all around. They had already completed much higher death rated missions and they were still alive because of their leader. If their Commander knew of their failure, he wouldn''t be pleased. They were beaten in a simple retrieve mission. That''s a blow in their pride and to the commander as well. "Bellec, above you!" Colin warned as he saw something on the tree branch flew down and he was astonished at what he saw. Bellec that was helping Droner, didn''t know what to do. He pushed the unconscious ally while he rolled over the ground, successfully evaded the attack of the android that foot had broken the ground. "Shit!" Colin cursed as he fired at the android. *Bang! Bang!* Two bullets flew and the android fell on its back with two holes on its forehead. But when they thought that it had died, it immediately jumped back up on its feet and rushed towards them. "Fuck!" seeing the android unharmed, they rained it down with bullets, until it fell on the ground full of holes and smoking. However, the two didn''t let their guards down as they knew that there were another three more of it around. Seeing one of the androids down, Vanz was amused. "So it can''t still withstand a rain of bullets. I''ll nurture them after this. I''m fortunate to encounter such puppet. I''ll finish this then. It''s about time the class ended, I need to head on home or Ms. Sera will be mad." Vanz mumbled in his hiding spot. While sending orders to the androids, many ideas were passing through his mind. He decided to do some with the use of his androids. Sounds of rustling filled the area as Colin and Bellec stood at their spot with their back facing each other. They were following the movements of the bushes as they readied themselves to shoot. When the rustles ceased, their hearts were filled with caution and anxiety as they didn''t know if they could made it out alive. They knew that the androids that were made by the Command Center shouldn''t be underestimated. Its body was made of flexible metal. It couldn''t be easily pierced by 9mm bullets, but their bullets couldn''t even dealt a heavy damage on it. As they waited for the androids to come out, the bush behind them rustled as they showered it with bullets. Unknown to them, another was above them. A shadow loomed over them, which they easily noticed, thus the two were able to evade the kick of the android as they rolled on the ground. But the assault of the androids didn''t ended yet as the other two rushed at Colin and Bellec. They couldn''t evade the attack this time, but they were able to block the round kick of the androids with their arms. "Arghhh!" they shouted. The bones on their arms got fractured as the forced carried by the round kick was beyond on what their bodies could withstand. Even in pain, they didn''t surrender as they retaliated with a round kick as well. The androids were small, only around their waist, thus a simple tilt of their bodies was enough to dodge the attack. Colin and Bellec were about to take some distance after wasting their chance as they knew that they were at disadvantage in close combat. However, Vanz didn''t let them. He controlled the two androids as it rushed forward, faster than before and made an axe kick. Colin was hit at the chest as he heard some of his bones cracked and fell unconscious, while Bellec was able to evade the flying kick of the android he was facing and rolled on the ground to negate the his momentum. Even though Bellec had evaded, he was focused on the opponent before him that he disremembered the another android behind, waiting for him if ever he was able to evade the attack. Bellec sensed somethingbehind, but he was too slow to react as he felt a pain on the back of his face as the foot of another android slammed him on the ground before fainting, burying his head with its foot. Vanz smirked as he felt he had a good time playing with them. He came out of his hiding spot as he ordered the four androids to collect the unconscious men at one place and tied them at a tree trunk after stripping them naked. One of them had an engagement ring that had just been bought recently, handguns, advance communication devices, dangerous looking knives and gold plates at the size of his thumb. After seeing the gold plates an idea came to his mind. Since Vanz made the four androids as his minions, he had been thinking where to hide them. Of course, he couldn''t just hide them in his room because they were too noticeable. He thought of using Concealment Formation to hide them, but seeing the gold plates he changed his mind. He would instead make a Spatial Storage for them. Weaving pure qi into his hand, Vanz began writing the formulas on the surface of four gold plates in his hand. After several minutes, he had finished laying the Spatial Imprisonment Formation on the gold plates. Tiny holes became visible on the surface of four gold plates and pulled the air around towards the inside of it. Vanz immediately laid the gold plates on the ground and commanded the four androids to jump on the gold plates. The four androids were sucked in each gold plate, but the suction still didn''t stopped. Vanz wove pure qi on his hand as he wrote down the final formula to lock the space inside the gold plates. Indescribable letters flew and wrapped the gold plates as it slowly suppressed the force of the suction and everything turned back to normal. The wind became a mere soft breeze, while many green leaves littered the ground. Vanz returned the men''s clothes, as well as the engagement ring to its rightful owner as he didn''t had any use for it. Apart from it, he brought everything with him, stored inside the gold plates as he left the place, leaving no traces of himself Chapter 7 Chapter 7 The class hours had long since ended and there weren''t many students still left in the school grounds at the present, mostly students which were tasked to clean their classrooms and those whom had club activities. Vanz had a smile that couldn''t be erased on his face as he tread his way towards his classroom to take his bag and head back on the orphanage. When he arrived at the classroom, there were no one inside and his bag was the only thing inside, placed on top of his desk, apart from the things that was initially there at the beginning. After taking his bag, he left the room and unexpectedly bumped on Mrs.Villiania. His happy smile became a nervous smile when he saw how angry she looked. "Come with me." Mrs.Villiania simply said. She turned around and walked. Vanz only sighed and followed suit. At the faculty they were the only people inside and the other teachers had already left since. "Why did you skip class?" Mrs.Villiania began, but Vanz didn''t answered and remained silent while looking down on the floor. "Don''t you know that it''s not a good example to your classmates?" she added. "I''ll call your guardian." she said and Vanz immediately looked at her. "Now that I got your attention. Answer my first question." she said. She thought Vanz was going to answer, but he only looked down again. She sighed after seeing it. "Okay, I won''t call your guardian. I will let this slide as well. But, if you repeat this again, I won''t talk to you and call straight to your guardian. Do you understand?" "Yes, I won''t skip class again." Vanz answered meekly. "Good. Now come, I''ll escort you home." Mrs.Villiania said and drove Vanz back to the orphanage. In the car, Vanz was seating on the front seat next to Mrs.Villiania. After they passed by the second bus terminal, Mrs.Villiania glanced at Vanz and spoke. "Vanz, do you mind if I fetch my daughter before sending you home or I''ll send you home first? My daughter''s school isn''t far from the orphanage anyway." "Of course not, Mrs.Villiania. I am fine either way." Vanz said politely. "Okay, then. Let''s fetch my daughter first." she said and accelerated the car. Mrs.Villiania drove towards the orphanage, but didn''t stopped and passed by as they headed towards the school several kilometers away from the orphanage. The school name was Allhermien Academy, a private elementary school. A little girl was waiting at the waiting shed inside the school. When she saw her mother''s car from afar, she came out and waited for it to park before her. Mrs.Villiania came out, helped her daughter with her bag and sat on the driverseat and drove back to the direction of the orphanage. "Who''s this kid, Mom?" the little girl inquired. "Oh he''s one of my students. His name''s Vanz. He lives at the Chapter Children Orphanage. He fell asleep on our way to fetch you." Mrs.Villiania said. She looked at her daughter through the mirror and continued. "Anyway, we''ll send him home first." "Okay,~" the little girl said as she played with her dolls on the back seat. Sera was waiting at the gate, when a car stopped in front of her. Her worries were relieved when she saw Mrs.Villiania came out of the car with Vanz asleep on her car. "Sera, it''s been a long time. I''m here to send one of your sheep." Mrs.Villiania said as she carried Vanz and gave him to Sera. "Thanks, Devi. I worried for nothing. Why don''t you come inside first and have dinner with us?" Sera said back. "Oh that''s good, but I thank you for the offer. My husband is waiting at home. Maybe next time?" Mrs. Mrs.Villiania replied as she get in the car. "Okay, thanks again. Drive safe." Sera said and watched as the car drove away. Sighing to herself, she carried Vanz towards his room and laid him on his bed and let him have a goodnight sleep. Actually, the night still wasn''t late, but Vanz used up most of his pure qi in laying formations on the androids. Thus, exhaustion visited him. And on his way at home, they encountered a heavy traffic which took almost two hours for them to passed through. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. While Vanz was sleeping peacefully, Commander Morrigan was burning in anger because he found out what happened to the group that he sent to retrieve the androids. But what angered him the most was the report that his agents weren''t just beaten badly, they even failed to protect the androids from being taken away. "Commander, Sir! We''ve searched the whole forest, but we didn''t found the four androids. They were likely had been taken away. And if you heard the group alpha statement, you might not believe what they said." the man beside Commander Morrigan said. "Just tell me what the fuck happened!" Commander Morrigan roared, which made the man paled. "Y-Yes, Sir! The agents said they saw no one at the site. And the one that beaten them were the four androids.... It was as though they became capable of thinking independently. Agent Colin and Agent Bellec had exchanged blows with them and they were overpowered by their teamwork. They moved in a very collaborated way. Also, their important equipments, as well as other important things were stolen. The only one left to them was Agent Adders engagement ring.... No traces left of the culprits...." the man looked at the commander and spoke before slipping away. "That''s all the reports, Commander." "Haha-Ha-Ha! Wahahaha!" Commander Morrigan laughed thundered throughout the room, but his face wasn''t smiling, instead filled with rage. "I''ll make sure, who ever he is. I will find him and grind him to dust with my own bare hands!" "Lieutenant!" Commander Morrigan shouted and the silently walking away Lieutenant stopped and replied. "Yes, Commander, Sir!" "Alert our agents at Vinyan City. They are to report everything they find suspicious! Also tell to the group alpha that they have many years to enjoy themselves!" Commander Morrigan roared. "Immediately, Sir!" the lieutenant replied and immediately left. "I will find you, whoever you are and I will kill you!" Commander Morrigan swore. On the next morning, Vanz woke up in his room, baffled on how he ended up in his room. He didn''t expect that he only had capacity for writing four formation at his present cultivation, but he knew it wasn''t the cause of his exhaustion. It was his body being still at growth phase Sitting crossed-legged on top of his bed, his spiritual awareness entered his Pure Qi Space as he saw that three of his Pure Qi Springs were empty. At this moment, the tornado of pure qi was ready to excavate a new pure qi spring. His body shook when the tornado make contact to the ground. It slowly drilled down until it reached the depth of 7ft before dispersing. Pure qi shot out of the newly excavated pure qi spring like a geyser and filled it to the brim as it overflowed. Vanz guide the overflowing pure qi to the other pure qi springs creating a small stream towards the other pure qi springs. He stabilized his cultivation base that had skyrocketed the moment the fourth pure qi spring was formed. As his eyes opened, a bright glint escaped as his aura exploded. The window opened and all movable objects around him was blown away, scattered them in disarray. He breathed deeply and stood, feeling the increase in his physical prowess. A smile crept in his face that was immediately erased when he heard Vienna''s voice behind the door. "Vanz! What''s that noise?! Let me in!" "Ahh that was nothing! I only fell from my bed! It''s nothing. I''m fine." Vanz shouted. "I said, open the door!" Vienna insisted. "Okay, wait!" After tidying up his room that was taken care of in five seconds, Vanz unlocked the door and return to his bed, while Vienna entered with a frown. "What-" Vienna looked around and saw nothing amiss as she hadn''t continue to say what was in her mind. Since nothing bad happened, Vienna just shrugged it and thought the explosion like sound she heard was just in her mind. "Okay... I heard... Forget it." she looked at Vanz and spoke. "Vanz, come on down and have a breakfast. You''ll be late for school." then, Vienna left after she said it. Vanz sighed when Vienna was finally gone. "That was close. I need to isolate myself from now on when I''m about to excavate a new pure qi spring..." Vanz sat in meditative position as his spiritual awareness entered gold plates and examined the four androids. He looked at the gold plates and saw that each one of them was engraved with not similar two digit numbers. He knew that they were not serial numbers as the gold plates were too small and the numbers were only two digits. Thus, it was used for different purpose, but he had no idea what it could be. He decided to not think about it for the time being and focused his attention to the puppets. Vanz decided to call them according to the numbers that was engraved on the gold plates. All the androids had a small and frail looking body. It was to hoodwink people as underneath their skin were metallic platings that was able to withstand huge amount of penetrating force. The android with green hair was Android 63, the one with blue hair was Android 92, while Android 54 and Android 21 both had black hair. Their height was similar to each other at 1.2 meters, much higher than Vanz, but it wouldn''t be long before he surpassed them as the androids couldn''t grow. The right foot of Android 54 was damaged, but it was slowly recovering. Bent toes were returning to its original state before being damaged, as well as the dislocated foot. Vanz couldn''t help but sucked a cold breath when he saw it. This was the reason why the Soul Puppet Formation was the best way of creating a puppet. The name ''Soul'' wasn''t an exaggeration. It was truly similar to an Immortal. Whose body could heal on its own. No matter how damaged the puppet was, even if the body was grounded to dust, it could still recover, but only at a slow pace, even so it was truly heaven-defying. In his previous life, the Soul Puppet Formation was owned by a Sect. Not just a simple Sect. Because they owned 72 Planar Worlds only on their own. The Incessant Devil Sect, known for their powerful and undying cultivators; the Legion of Undying Generals. However, the undying cultivators weren''t actually cultivators. They were not even alive! Because they were just puppets! Unfortunately, the greed of people in his previous world was more abundant than an ocean filled with endless creatures and could even put the desert''s greed for water into shame. Many Sects formed a temporary truce for a temporary alliance and attacked the Incessant Devil Sect just to obtain the secret it had. All of the Cultivators in his previous world thought it was a Dao Method of the patriarch of Incessant Devil Sect and all the disciples and elders of the sect worshipped it, but they were wrong! In fact, it was only a simple formation formula! A heaven-defying formation! Vanz was only at the Foundation Establishment Realm at that time. He participated to the raid as well, he killed millions of disciples and elders while practicing his techniques on them. At the end of his road, he didn''t found anything only a worn out scroll where the Soul Puppet Formation formula was written. Using the formula, an artificial soul would be created. It had an absolute loyalty to the creator and would only care for the creator. The artificial soul didn''t had mind, but only an instinct; to follow and live for the creator. When the Incessant Devil Sect was completely destroyed, no Dao Method was found. The patriach had destroyed his Immortal Core while protecting the fleeing disciples and elders, hoping for the Sect to return once again in the future, but it wasn''t fulfilled because not a single soul was left alive. The cultivator''s view at Formation Masters at that time was also particularly low, thus none paid attention to what Vanz obtained. Vanz was the same. He thought the same as well, and put the scroll in his Inventory Ring and let it rot. Only after he became a Formation Grand Master he discovered about the greatness of the scroll as he used it on his own benefit. He slayed a Dragon, a Phoenix, a White Tiger and a Tortoise and used them as a puppet, but he only placed them out of his Immortal Mansion as security guards.... Since Vanz was still a kid and killing was prohibited, punishable by the law in all parts of the world where people flourished. He needed the androids to do his dirty works. For this purpose, he would make them more stronger for them to withstand the most advance weapons existing in the world. Just like his guards in his previous life. But he would start this for another time as he had no free time for it now. Vanz readied himself before going to school. He washed himself, ate his breakfast with the other children and talked with them like a normal child would do. When he was about to leave the orphanage, three people came, followed by another two people with guns, although hidden which made people oblivious about it. Vanz was worried that something might happen when he wasn''t present. Thus, he left Android 21 and Android 92 nearby the orphanage. In any case, if something really happened he would immediately know and he could rushed back in full speed or control the two androids he left to save Sera or anyone that was in danger. Chapter 8 Chapter 8 Vanz was on his way to school. On the back of his head, he was in control of Android 92 and Android 63. He sent his spiritual awareness to them and spread it, until it covered the whole orphanage. Therefore, even though he was away, he could still observe everything that was transpiring inside, even if his androids were outside. When he used the Soul Puppet Formation on the four androids, a spiritual connection was at the same time established. Through this, he could use the puppets like his own body. However, even if the four androids were damaged, he wouldn''t feel pain or anything. In addition, his spiritual awareness expanded into 3,100 meters, due to his recent break through to 4th Stage of Qi Gathering Realm and also because of the emergence of fourth pure qi spring. Meanwhile, inside the orphanage, Sera busied herself in her office dealing with the paperworks. At the same time, Vienna was having a conversation with five people that Vanz saw before he left. They were Grille, Bones and Ouria, while the other two was people he didn''t know, but he swept them with his spiritual awareness and found out that they were part of the police department of Vinyan City. As for their purpose, he wasn''t aware of it. "The orphanage has three buildings; the Office Building, the Apartment Building and the Mess Hall where we all eat. Of course, you''ll sleep here at the Apartment''s building and here is your room." Vienna stated and stopped in front of a door. She opened the door and cast a glance at them. "Okay, lets enter." Vienna said to them and entered the room. The room hadn''t had much furnitures; there were two beds, shelves attached on two opposite walls and cabinets for storing their clothes. "This will be the room of this two people, Richie and..." "Henry, Ma''am." answered the man beside Richie. "Oh sorry, I forgot your name for a second there. Well anyway, this will be your room. We''ve already clean it, so you can settle your things immediately." Vienna faced the other three and spoke. "Let''s temporarily leave Richie and Henry on their own, while you will follow me to your assigned room." "And after settling your things, proceed to the office building." Vienna said to Richie and Henry, while the two nodded. Vienna leave the room with the other three, while Richie and Henry place their bags on their beds. The two looked at each other. Henry pulled the table from the corner before him and put an envelope on top. Richie used his phone and made a call. "Hello, Boss. We''re in the orphanage now. What''s your next order?" Richie said. Vanz that was listening in class focused his attention out of the class to the conversation of Richie and the mysterious man in the phone. "Very good. Now, look for the files of children there. Investigate about a baby that had been abandoned there six years ago. All the other infos about the kid are in the envelope I gave to Henry. If there is a kid that resembles that infos, kidnap him and take him to the warehouse at Salphino Port. Understood?" the man in the phone instructed. "Yes, Boss. We won''t fail you." Richie answered. "Good. Don''t worry. Your service won''t be in vain. The reward is greater this time, but remember --don''t let others know about this. If any people at that orphanage knows --you know what you must do...." "...Yes, Boss. Understood." Richie said. Even though he was talking to the man on the phone, he could still feel the coldness of his voice. Richie dropped his phone on the bed as he breathed deeply. "Richie, are you okay? What the boss said?" Henry asked. "The Boss said we shouldn''t let other people know about this. Even the people whom worked for him. Open that envelope so we can know the information about the kid. If one of the kids in this place match what is inside the envelope, we must take him to the Salphino Port, as soon as possible." Richie said. This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. "Then, let''s start planning already." Henry said, while Richie nodded. Vanz withdrew his spiritual awareness as he had heard enough. Now he knew that someone was searching for him. From what he heard, the man on the phone instructed them to silence anyone whom had known of their investigation. With this, Vanz concluded that they were the enemies of his biological parents. He left the classroom and proceed to the cafeteria to buy some food. Since they were still planning, Vanz wasn''t worried that something bad would happen immediately and focused on his own plans on collecting the ingredients for concoction of Fortune Star Pill. Furthermore, Android 92 and Android 63 were there to make everything safe while he was away. Dealing on normal people like Richie and Henry, the two androids were already enough. Currently, he already knew where he could found the White Crying Root or the Onion in this world. And from the research that he conducted, the Bloody Thorny Fruit and Emerald Star Fruit which were called Rambutan and Carambola, by which could be bought at Vinyan City Shopping Mall near his school. As for the Four Clove Plant which was called Four-Leaf Clover. It could be bought at the Azul Mountain Summit Souvenir Shop which was very far from Vinyan City, located at the neighboring City of Cizsor. Apart from this problem, an Alchemy Cauldron was also his problem. He didn''t know where he could found an Alchemy Cauldron that suited to concoct the Fortune Star Pill. He thought about refining a cauldron on his own, but he didn''t had any Essence Flame. An additional problem for him to solve. An Essence Flame was a flame that could be used in alchemy and refining a magical artifacts and weapons. It couldn''t be found anywhere else and only appeared at places with bountiful Fire element Pure qi. Places with high temperature or burning in fire were more likely didn''t had any essence flame. He was very occupied, thinking how he could solve the puzzles and he didn''t notice where he was going as he accidentally bumped to someone. *Thud!* Vanz didn''t budged even an inch while the kid he bumped into fell on her back. He offered his hand to help her, but the young girl slapped his hand away as she stood on her own. "I don''t need your help, low life!" she said, glared at Vanz and pointed her finger at him. "This is your fault! I''ll tell my father to punish you!" Then, a man in suit came. "What happened, young lady Aroma?" the man asked and saw Vanz standing before him. "I''m very sorry for what happened. I''m not looking at where I am going. I really sorry..." Vanz said with all sincerity. "Oh no, it''s alright. Umm, ahh you can go now." the man said, but the young girl Aroma opposed him. "What?!" she bellowed. The man was near and covered his ears with his hands. "After what he did to me you will only let him be? I''ll tell this to my father!" she added. "Young lady Aroma, I.... " While the two were busy talking to each other, Vanz slipped away and headed to the cafeteria. He bought three egg and cheese sandwich with mayonnaise, paired with one small bottle of mineral water and left the cafeteria, going back to his room where he would eat his food. The classroom was still empty, he thought. But then, he sensed another person on the back. He was the kid that the androids were bullying before, silently eating his own food, a lunchbox. Vanz looked at him and probed him with his spiritual awareness. He was shocked at what he saw inside his body. He didn''t know how it escaped his spiritual awareness before, but that wasn''t important. What important was what he found in the boy. The boy possessed a rare body constitution called, Mind Paragon Blessing and it was already at perfect stage. A body that only appeared on people that couldn''t cultivate. It was a body suitable on cultivating Mental Qi. Mental Qi was inferior to Spiritual Qi, but it had its own uniqueness. It was easy to cultivate, than Spiritual Qi and there was no bottleneck in cultivating it. However, the people that possessed a body like this were stubborn and willful. It was also dangerous. If the person that possessed a Mind Paragon Blessing couldn''t control his emotions, he would explode from the inside and killed himself. Unfortunately for the boy, he would explode at any moment. He only need a one last stimulation and boom.... Vanz was alarmed when he noticed it. His body wouldn''t be able to withstand the explosion if it happened. Thus, he immediately thought of a way to release the Mental Qi that accumulated inside the boy before the worst thing happened. He finished two sandwiches and approached the boy. The boy looked at Vanz then, on the sandwich on his hand. "Here, let''s share..." Vanz said, didn''t know what to say... "Sure! Here, take some of the meatballs. This meatballs are cooked by my sister and its delicious! You must try one!" the boy said without a hint of insincerity. Vanz smiled awkwardly and sat next to the boy. "O-Oh! Then, give me some! Here try this sandwich, its delicious too! It was made by my, umm mother! That''s right, it''s made by my mother." "This looks like the sandwich that could be bought at the cafeteria..." the boy said and Vanz smile stiffened. "W-Well, they really looks similar, but they are different. Because this one is made by my mother." Vanz said. "Is that so? Then, I''ll eat it!" the boy said and Vanz heaved in relief. "Hehe, anyway. What''s your name?" Vanz asked. "I''m Cendrik Morrigan. You?" "I''m Vanz, just Vanz." "You don''t have a surname? You know, like Springellton, Edison or anything much cooler, like Hellscream or Hoenhein..." "No, I don''t have because I''m an orphan." "Ohh... I''m sorry. I shouldn''t have asked." "No, no, no. It''s okay.... I-" *Ring! Ring!* The bell rang, indicating that recess time was over. One by one, some of their classmates were appearing. "I''ll return to my seat now." Vanz said. "Okay, let''s share food again tomorrow!" Cendrik suggested. "Sure!" Vanz answered and sat on his seat. Then, all became quiet when Mrs.Villiania arrived and the class was immediately started. While listening to the class, Vanz was already forming a plan in his mind on how he could extract the Mental Qi out of Cendrik''s body wouldn''t harming him. At first, he planned to teach him how to cultivate Mental Qi, but he was unable to cultivate Mental Qi, because of his destroyed Mind Palace and there were no other ways to restore it. Thinking about this, he couldn''t help but pitied Cendrik. He acquired a precious gift, but he was unable to use it. He was even aware of it. This is a problem... Apart from that method, there were no other ways. He is a walking time bomb and would detonate at any moment. This needs an immediate solution... Vanz thought Vanz thought of extracting the Mental Qi out of Cendrik''s body on his own. This was the method he could only thought of. However, even this method was accompanied by disaster. Using the Covetous Devil Grand Magic Technique, he would be able to steal the Mental Qi which was in Cendrik''s body without harming him. The only problem was the difficulty he would face from controlling it. A demonic hand of embodiment of envy would be summoned to steal the mental qi, but it might also steal another thing in the process. The demonic hand would only steal the most precious thing that the individual possessed. It could be an object or the individual''s soul. Vanz put the idea at the back of his head and thought of another way. But no matter what he think, all that he could thought, which was the best method was through the use of Covetous Devil Grand Magic Technique. If he used this method, the success rate of the operation depend all in Cendrik''s luck.
