Joruney To The Starry Sky: Chapter 1-Who are we?
It was June 1st. Shuang Dao, at 13 years old finally knew that the time has come. To die or to change his destiny. It was time for him to turn the Blue Sea into Mulberry Fields.

Shuang Dao lifted his eye lashes as scorching light slowly creeped into his room.
His eyes were green like emeralds and he had brown-blond hair which were very unique as it would look different colour in different environments. Sometimes they would look red, sometimes black and other times brown and blond. Handsome face for a youngster his age as it had very manly feel to it, but at the same time jade-like.
Shuang Dao had rather handsome appearance. If one took off his shabby and full of patches clothing, cleaning him full from all the filth, he would definitely look like he is from some prestigious Sect, Clan or Association.
He had very good physique, although a bit skinny, but just good enough for his 1,70m height.
He was actually really tall for his age considering his nutrition.
Shuang Dao didn¡¯t look like a kid with no background and someone without proper home.
He picked himself up from the bunch of straws he was sleeping on; went to the side and from within straws he took out half broken wooden sword. He looked at it for a moment, ¡®It should last for today¡¯ he thought and headed out.
He lived in a rather rural area, at edge of the town. It was a place called slums by the other people, but for Shuang Dao it was his home.
Besides him there were 4 other kids and a lot of homeless people. It was a place for people with unfortunate destiny or heavily disabled, of which didn¡¯t live for long.
Right next to Shuang Dao¡¯s rundown shack there were similar to his, four other shabby shacks. This is where the other 4 kids lived.
Standing next to one of the shacks Shuang Dao lightly hit the shack with his wooden sword.
¡°Yun wake up.¡± Shuang Dao spoke neither loudly nor silently as he looked through the small window. This was where Yun Ji lived, he was one of the four kids who lived in the slums with him. Yun Ji Just like Shuang Dao, he was thirteen years old this year and had rather similar physique to Shuang Dao but Yun Ji was a bit shorter then Shuang Dao.
Yun Ji was a noble, one could only truly call him a noble. He had black eyes which reflected the soul of the one who was looking them and long dark hair, like that of a true Daoist.
Because Shuang Dao was early morning bird he would almost always be the one who woke everyone up. Likewise Yun Ji was the heaviest sleeper of the four kids, and so Shuang Dao would always try to wake him up first. Alas, like always, it would take couple of attempts.
Shuang Dao picked up his wooden sword and got his hand through the window; rotating his sword to be held like plank Shuang Dao swung his sword few times over Yun Ji¡¯s butt. Up and down, one could already feel heavy wind from it, with evil smile Shuang Dao finally using some strength he slapped Yun Ji on the buttocks.
*slap* A very frightening deep painful sound could be heard.
¡°Ahhh!¡± Yun Ji shot like a bullet from the hill of straws and started jumping up and down while holding his buttocks.
¡°Ai, Ai, Ai! It hurts!¡± Yun Ji shouted as you could see tears in his eyes.
Shuang Dao burst laughing as he looked at Yun Ji.
Shuang Dao was about swing his sword at Yun Ji buttocks again, when Yun Ji shouted, ¡°I am awake Boss, I am awake!¡±
¡°Okay, okay get up fast. We will start morning training.¡± Shuang Dao spoke.
¡°Okay, give me a minute.¡± Yun Ji said with tears in his eyes.
I¡¯ll never get bored of doing this. Ku ku ku.
Shuang Dao nodded with evil smile on his face, Shuang Dao saw other three kids getting out of their houses and amongst the three kids 2 were girls.
Seeing this Shuang Dao had smile on his face, ¡°Ohh! Everyone is awake, that¡¯s good!¡±
¡°Ai, Ai! How can we sleep when we hear Yun scream like a baby?¡± Jiang Li spoke. He was the youngest amongst the five kids as he was only 11 and he will be 12 in few weeks. He had bushy eyebrows and black hair which went just past his ears, because his hair was cut completely in line it looked like helmet.
¡°Oi, who¡¯s the baby here!?¡± Yun Ji spoke while in the house, he sounded really miserable.
The two girls burst laughing.
¡°Yun Ji, if you weren¡¯t such a heavy sleeper, then you wouldn¡¯t get hit to your buttocks every day.¡± The girl who had long blond hair, green phoenix eyes, long eye-lashes and clear as Ice and clean as jade face, spoke. One could see that she will definitely be a beauty when she grows up. This beauty¡¯s name was Hua Ba, 12 years old, she was the taller one of the two girls.
¡°Hua Ba, how is this Yun Ji¡¯s fault? It¡¯s Shuang Dao that hit him.¡± Lin Hao said pouting as she looked at Shuang Dao indicating with her eyes, ¡®You should stop hitting Yun Ji¡¯.
Lin Hao was the shorter one of the two girls she had short black hair and was quite petite. Her eyes were like limpid autumn water as it was white like first winters snow. But they were not lifeless instead brilliant and shiny like diamonds such pupils were probably even more rare then rarest diamonds and it was easier to find phoenix feathers and unicorn horns. Lin Hao was 12 years old just like Hua Ba and was second youngest to Jiang Li.
All of the five kids came from the same background. They were kids that managed to escape their burning orphanage, as well as great enemy who burnt it.
Unfortunately they knew not who the enemy was, as they lived in the orphanage since they were very little. They almost knew no one outside the orphanage so how could they know who was their enemy.
After they escaped, they managed to get into a caravan for the money they found in the orphanage and came to this desolate town in a very hard to reach place. It was place of which very few people knew of, as its geographical location was just terrible; amongst multiple mountain ranges, amongst many lakes. Somewhere in the middle between south of the continent and the centre of the continent.
These five been through a lot, but because they were exceptionally intelligent, they were able to survive.
¡°Yun Ji, Jiang Li, Lin Hao, Hua Ba. Today is the day.¡± Shuang Dao spoke as he seriously looked at everyone in front of them.
All of them stood in front of Shuang Dao as they put serious expression as well. They clearly knew what that meant.
¡°Today we will start, today we will change our fate, today we will not hesitate anymore!¡± Shuang Dao spoke encouragingly.
All of them nodded their heads, acknowledging. They looked serious and composed, their eyes closed pretending to think hard. But then suddenly burst into laughing.
¡°That sounded so lame, honestly!¡± Huo Ba laughed so hard she started rolling on the ground.
Everyone couldn¡¯t help but laugh, except Shuang Dao who looked embarrassed, but finally started laughing as well.

After five minutes of laughing they started training their bodies in various ways, but never letting their wooden sword out of their hands.
If one wants to wield a sword, then the sword must became part of one¡¯s body.
Since Shuang Dao was very little he had exceptional intelligence that surpassed his pears, but not only that; it was extreme passion for swords and fighting that he had. Something that made even those around him exclaim in admiration and start to like swords and fighting to the core. They knew not how to wield other weapons, nor did they know any martial arts.
*thud* *thud* *thud* Shuang Dao and Yun Ji clashed against each other with their wooden swords. Time and time again as the sound of wood crashing in to each other became stronger and stronger, until sharp sound could be heard.
*Snap* Yun Ji wooden word snapped leaving only half of it, at the same time Shuang Dao¡¯s half broken wooden sword was now in such a bad shape that from the tip of the sword to the handle it split in half.
*Phew* Shuang Dao exhaled, ¡°Good match, bro.¡±
¡°Indeed, brother Shuang.¡± Yun Ji said with a smile on his face.
¡°It seems that your strength, agility, endurance and control stats are not far from mine, you¡¯ve been working hard, so that¡¯s good.¡± Shuang Dao pointed out.
¡°Yes brother Shuang after this battle I just noticed that my four main stats actually improved by one. Now I have 16 strength 20 agility 23 endurance and total of 47 control.¡± He grinned widely.

Agility for flexibility mainly speed and resistance to forces. Endurance ones¡¯ natural defence and how long one can fight for as to not be short of breath. All of the stats represented a lot of things and not just the obvious one as it was really complicated. One has to maintain certain ratio between the stats as they complement each other, if one focuses too much on one thing then they won¡¯t be able to achieve greatest result.
Shuang Dao focused on his mind inside the void suddenly appeared his statistics.

Intelligence: 30
Besides the 4 main stats, there is also Wisdom, it helps to retrieve information from the brain faster and increases minds capacity. Intelligence goes a bit together with control, but mainly Wisdom as they complement each other, but this time it¡¯s the overall control over ones brain tasks, such as multitasking and reaction speed and keeping calm during battle. Intelligence goes hand in hand with Wisdom, but scholars would rely more on Wisdom, warriors on intelligence, while Pneuma Daoist¡¯s based Sects and Associations must really balance both of them. Also Beast masters would heavily rely on intelligence to intimidate the beasts.

Seeing everyone practice so hard Shuang Dao couldn¡¯t help but be delighted. He walked back to his house, took off all the straws from the place where he slept and one could then see bunch of wooden boards placed on a 2 meter long, 50 centimetre wide hole. Shuang Dao took of the boards and inside the 50 centimetres deep hole there was a chest almost same size as the hole. Shuang Dao opened the chest and took 5 shabby metal swords that were inside of it.
Going back to his team mates Shuang Dao gave all of them a sword and one for himself.
Five people, five swords. Although the swords just like them looked very shabby and poor, but when the five of them stood next to each other, they looked mighty and inseparable.
Shuang Dao glanced at everyone and all of them nodded in a row.
It was time to head out.
Sun was high up, shining, dropping the shadows of the five.
Carrying the metal sword they headed out to the main street where all the business was happening. They could see people glancing at them strangely, but the five of them didn¡¯t care.
Before they did a lot of odd jobs just to be able to buy something to eat, just enough to survive, so they can spend the rest of the time practicing their sword mastery. They had no background, no family and no friends besides each other. They had stronger bond than anyone else. They were five lone wolves.
Their goal? Mercenary Station. They will form a mercenary group consisting of five people which are themselves. Mercenary Station is the place where one can form a mercenary group, search for people to join them as well as find other mercenary groups. Alas if that was all then Mercenary Station would be useless, besides that, it is the place where people can take on Quests some of which are: Hunting ferocious beasts, guarding someone such as a caravan, hunting wanted people and much more.
The Mercenary Station was just like any pavilion but much larger as it had to fit a lot more people inside. There was an inn and even armory and weaponry shops. In the middle, there was a huge hall, it looked simple and not that special. It suited the area for being a Mercenary Station in the middle of nowhere. On the walls one could see bunch of notes. They were notes of people who were searching for a group or searching for people to join their mercenary group.
When the five entered the Mercenary Station, everyone was shocked. 5 dirty looking kids with shabby clothes which looked as if they were about to fall off came holding metal swords in their hands. They had never seen such a mercenary group in their entire life. It was shocking to them. Some even started laughing and mocking.
All five of them stood next to the counter and Shuang Dao spoke up to the lady who was there, ¡°We would like to form a mercenary group.¡±
At first the woman was flabbergasted and then she wanted to say that it is not a place for them, but then without even letting her say that, Shuang Dao already spoke up, so now she was at loss of words.
¡°Hello?¡± Shuang Dao spoke as he grinned, because he saw that the woman was lost.
¡°Ah!? Oh, Okay so you want to form a mercenary group?¡± The woman looked at Shuang Dao clumsily.
¡°Yes.¡± Shuang Dao answered calmly.
Woman looked at Shuang Dao weirdly again, she couldn¡¯t help but sigh. After all there were many youngsters who would escape from home and form a mercenary group then take on Quest but never come back, because they would die.
¡°Forming mercenary group would cost one silver, do you have it?¡± Woman looked at Shuang Dao curious, as she noticed that Shuang Dao was extremely poor.
Shuang Dao nodded as he took out one silver coin and gave it to the assistant.
¡°What would be your Mercenary group¡¯s name?¡± The woman behind the counter spoke.
Shuang Dao looked at his teammates and all of them nodded.
¡°Solitary Demons!¡± Shuang Dao spoke firmly, as if nothing in the world that could change his decision.
The woman gasped when she heard such ferocious, such indomitable name with such fierceness in his words. Thinking about this name she couldn¡¯t help but exclaim because she understood part of the deeper meaning. She will never forget these youngsters or this mercenary group name in her entire life.
All of the mercenaries there have had a tough life and now that they heard their mercenary group name, they looked much deeper at these youths. Combined with their mercenary group name and their looks, the mercenaries there have understood that the five must be orphans.
Afterwards they filled in some forms to get things clear.
¡°An emblem with your own symbol would cost 25 silver, do you want that one, or just the basic one?¡± Woman spoke as she now gazed at Shuang Dao.
Basic emblem means that they would gain an emblem which Shuang Dao could put on his clothes. It represented that he is a mercenary, as it had Mercenary Station sign on it. But one can also make a special one with their own sign but it would cost to make, as it would have to be hand crafted with precision of a master craftsman.
Shuang Dao knew that he will need to pay 25 silver, but he still hesitated a bit, after all 5 of them could live for a year for 25 silver. Being poor his whole life he liked having hefty sum in his pocket a lot. Keeping 25 silver were not easy and they had it since 3 years ago when they came here. It was left over money from when they found some money in the orphanage.
Gritting his teeth Shuang Dao stingily gave 25 silver and also the emblem drawing, which looked like starry sky, extremely unique.
Looking at it woman gasped as she knew how hard it would be to make this kind of emblem, putting smile of her face she couldn¡¯t help but think of the face of the master craftsman when he sees this emblem. She didn¡¯t know whether to laugh or cry.
¡°Your emblem will be finished in five days, so currently we will give you the basic one. Is that it?¡± Woman looked at them curiously.
¡°That¡¯s it.¡± Shuang Dao spoke and looked at his Solitary Demons.
¡°Let¡¯s go then.¡± Lin Hao spoke as everyone started heading outside.
¡°Oi! Wait, show us to the Mercenary group contract first.¡± Lin Hao spoke because everyone forgot.
Hearing this Shuang Dao was embarrassed for forgetting such basic thing.

*Oi!* all of them shouted as they started hitting Shuang Dao.
¡°I am joking, I am joking! How about this. You all can be the cats and I¡¯ll be the owner!¡± Shuang Dao laughed as he started running.
¡°Guys what we do now is as we discussed. We will go hunt wild beasts at the edge of the mountain. Without going deep within, because with our strength that¡¯s all we can manage for now.¡± Shuang Dao spoke as he ran from them with a bit excitement.
Shuang Dao suddenly stopped as his heart beat increased. Wind blowing past his shoulder length hair. Shuang Dao turned behind and looked at his teammates. He gazed at them deeply as if no one else besides his friends existed in the world.
He shouted, ¡°WHO ARE WE?¡±

Joruney To The Starry Sky: Chapter 2- First Hunt.
Chapter 2: First hunt.
Shuang Dao engaged their spirits and headed to the west forest called Flying tiger mountain. The most dense Spiritual Beast territory, but at the same time the most spread out, it was perfect for newbies like them to hunt. Of course, first before going, they bought tools and resources for everything, after all they will sell these ferocious beasts later, but they will take out the good stuff. Brain and meat this is because brain and meat has the biggest concentration of spiritual energy in them, which when eaten helps to increase the rate at which one gains attributes. This is the main way to increase one¡¯s strength. Because of this one can only imagine how strong Solitary Demons would be, if they were being fed with ferrous beasts meat from since they were little, because in truth, they have never ate it before! As it was too expensive for them and they didn¡¯t have the strength to kill them. But not anymore, the time has come for them to kill them and get endless benefits.
However the most important thing about Spiritual Beasts, is that they have Spiritual Core which can help even the Spiritual Beasts themselves cultivate. One can do Spiritual Pills with alchemy out of them or eat them directly. Although in the later situation you would lose too much of the Spiritual energy. This is because it¡¯s not refined for human consumption the effects are a lot worse than Spiritual Pills.

Some distance away they could see the mountain which pierced the heavens, this is where they are heading.
Legend says that the Flying Tiger Mountain was named after fearsome Spiritual White, Flying Tiger that lived at the top of the mountain. The Flying Tiger was once the king of the continent and that there were no equals to him. But after all legends stay legends isn¡¯t it?
Going towards it, there were barely few miles. They were able to rather quickly reach the beginning of the mountain which was covered by trees all the way to the top. Normal trees would not grow like that, but because of incredible Qi, Spiritual and Pneuma Energy concentration the trees has become stronger. Because there are many variations of trees who has become stronger because of Pneuma they are called differently or by one name, ¡®Pneuma Trees.¡± Or Trees who ¡®breathe¡¯ many things in the world has been effected by Pneuma, some are even able to gain conciseness after existing for long enough.
¡°Guys what was the strategy we were talking about again.¡± Jiang Li spoke as to confirm with everyone, he was the youngest, but he was not stupid at all, although he was the weakest one from the team but not with overly huge margin.
¡°We surround the beast with enough gap for each of us to dodge, but enough to attack from every angle.¡± All of them spoke as they smiled.

5 people, 5 swords, the Solitary Demons have finally entered the area of Ferocious beasts for the first time.
All of them knew that they must be extremely cautious. They knew very well that what they are doing is almost a suicide. This is because any of the Spiritual Beast is at least two times stronger than simple animal. Most importantly, they are more intelligent because they have been effected by the Spiritual energy. Normal animals do not even dare to go into Spirit Beast territory.
¡°Can we really do it?¡± Huo Ba asked her teammates, but in truth, she asked herself.
¡°Sister,¡± Lin Hao spoke, ¡°What do we have to lose? We are completely alone in the world, we have nothing.¡± She spoke sadly, ¡°But are we going to give up?!¡±
¡°NO!¡± Everyone shouted. They were afraid, but they knew if they don¡¯t want to be slaves their whole life that¡¯s the only thing they can do. They knew that that have to fight with their whole being.
Gripping their swords harder, they knew that they might have taunted some ferocious beast as it has been five minutes since they entered Flying Tiger Mountain. It was about time some ferocious beast showed up. Because of the gigantic size of the forest the ferocious beasts were spread out and so they were not afraid getting the attention of a group of ferocious beasts, as they would live much further in the Flying tiger mountain.
*Roar*
Turning their heads, just like expected they heard a roar of some ferocious beast. Much like a bear and tiger combination.
All of them got ready, as they stood in line, the most basic of formations. After all, they never had a teacher, they knew no tricks or formations. What they had to rely on is only themselves and their swords. In the near future what they will have to rely on is their attributes, because they knew it was impossible to get into any good background without being chained.
Suddenly, behind the dense trees and bushes they finally saw a bear like creature who had very dark purple fur. The fur looked like metal wires absolutely terrifying as one could only imagine it in words, ¡®Not to touch.¡¯ Although its fur looks like sharp metallic wires, it is rather short and so not that dangerous.
The bear called Purple Spiked Spirit Bear, it is quite common Spirit animal in this mountain. It is as strong as three common bears and twice as fast. Extremely fearsome beast.
As the bear charged at them, Yun Ji quickly climbed onto the tree, while Lin Hao and Huo Ba went to right and left respectively. Shuang Dao standing in front and Jiang Li at the back as he was the weakest.
The bear saw that Shuang Dao was youngster and so he relaxed a bit, Shuang Dao didn¡¯t look intimidating at all. Charging at Shuang Dao it jumped and attacked Shuang Dao with its pawn. One could see even from far that it had nails as sharp as razors. If one would get pawned by it then one would instantly die from bleeding and broken bones.
When Purple Spiked Spirit Bear and Shuang Dao was about to clash, Lin Hao and Hao Ba attacked the bear from the sides; they didn¡¯t hide anymore. At the same time Yun Ji jumped from top of the tree one the bear and Jiang Li behind Shuang Dao slid downwards trying to attack the bear at its stomach.
Seeing this, the bear couldn¡¯t help but be startled, it tried to dodge by twisting its body at the same time clashing with as many of them is possible, but it was confident in its defence so he was rather relaxed.
Unfortunately the bear underestimated them way too much. When Shuang Dao clashed his sword with the bear¡¯s claw his control was so peerless that he was able to slide his sword in such a way that it went through the claws.
He twisted his body appearing on top of the bear¡¯s claw, he pierced towards the bear¡¯s eye. Unfortunately he missed and was only able to leave a not very deep cut at its eyebrow.
At this time the bear twisted his back claws to attack Lin Hao and Hao Ba. Because their stats were much lower they were not able to do such tricks at that speed like Shuang Dao, so they had no choice but back up and try to attack the bear from behind.
At this time Yun Ji also fell on top of the Bear and with all his might he stabbed towards its neck, but who would have expected that he only pierced to deepness of the tip of the sword. Purple Spiked bears¡¯ defence was too tough!
Jiang Li who slashed from downwards was actually only left a one centimetre deep cut around 5 centimetres long, he was not even able to cut through the bears hide! The bear was too terrifying, so he had no other choice but to roll to the side.
At this moment, all of them knew that this battle will be hard!
*clash* *clash* Multiple clashes and it started to feel for them like they were hitting a metal. Piercing towards simple hide would not make such a sound.

After many clashes with the bear most of the Solitary Demons had scratches of some kind and Shuang Dao even got a bit deeper cut from one of the bear¡¯s claws on his right arm as he was not able to totally dodge it. Of course Purple Spiked Spirit Bear didn¡¯t end up good either, as it now had cuts all over its body and started bleeding heavily.

So just when the five attacked again, when they were about to hit the bear they changed the direction of their swords and stabbed at the bears¡¯ legs which had bunch of cuts. Alas this time they actually sneakily hit at the deepest cut on each of the legs and managed to severely cut the nerves at its legs. The bear immediately fell on the ground with three of its legs because unfortunately Jiang Li was not able to cut deep enough.
They have finally managed to cut it down. The Purple Spiked Spirit Bear could do nothing at this point and just let them kill it.
Life and death battle which lasted almost a fifteen minutes finally ended.
Under such a stressful battle they could feel that they improved a bit. After all, under heavy stress is when human improves the best.
¡°We did it!¡± Jiang Li shouted excited.
¡°Ah! We really did it!¡± Lin Hao was so excited that she jumped towards Shuang Dao and hugged him really tightly.
¡°Ai, Ai¡± Shuang Dao was so surprised that he forgot about the pain from his right arm. Ling Hao realized that as she released Shuang Dao, and blushed a bit.
Seeing this, everyone couldn¡¯t help but chuckle.
*cough* *cough* Shuang Dao coughed awkwardly.
¡°Guys we need to drag this guy back to our place. Today we will celebrate!¡± Shuang Dao said cheerfully.
¡°Let¡¯s cut two small trees and with rope put this huge guy on top of them, It will be easier to drag it.¡± Yun Ji spoke as he was rather interested in hunting, so he researched the processes. The big guy weights around two hundred fifty kilos, so the five of them will just barely be able to drag it. Because Yun Ji did his research on this mountain he knew that for Purple Spiked Spirit Bear this is natural habitat, and so he prepared a good rope to be able to drag it back.

Solitary demons dragged the bear to their hideout without problem as it was in solitary part of the town. Well rather than hideout it was slums, but because so little people would go there, it could be called a hideout as well.
When everyone living there saw Solitary Demons dragging the huge bear they couldn¡¯t help but exclaim in surprise. There were around 10 people living there together with Solitary Demons so the Purple Spiked Spirit Bear will be more than enough to eat for everyone for a week or so.
¡°Everyone! let¡¯s celebrate this first successful hunt of ours!¡± Shuang Dao spoke joyfully.
¡°You really succeeded little ones?¡± A very aged old man spoke as he looked at the five kids on front of him, the old man was very frail and skinny seemingly haven¡¯t ate anything for months.

Quickly everyone exclaimed by the meats effectiveness, although everyone besides the five Solitary demons ate spirit beast meat before, but that was long time ago for them. Being able to eat it again they might even recover and finish their miserable lives. All thanks to the Solitary Demons.
Uncle Shu was so happy that he had wide smile on his face, but one could also see him contemplating on something.
Eating their fill and chatting a bit they started training for the greatest effect. Training after eating spirit beast gives greatest effect as it helps one absorb the Spiritual energy. Although they themselves cannot not absorb the Spiritual energy, but their muscles, bones and organs all can.
One thousand wood chopping swings later they could still feel that their bodies were full of energy, so they exclaimed in surprise. This is because usually after one thousand chopping swings they would be extremely tired, but the spirit energy even on level one spirit beast is very great and the effect on those who never ate it is multiple times stronger. Jiang Li really could hardly imagine such fearsome power, because it was common knowledge that Spiritual, Pneuma, Qi energy is the energy of origin. Everyone knew these energies is something that exists together with everything but also because of it. If there were none of these Energies than everything would go in to chaos, it¡¯s like Ying and Yang. Without Ying there would not be Yang and vice versa, so if one could actually directly interfere with one of them; just how strong could one become if they could control all of the Spiritual Energy? Jiang Li thought amazed.
Yun Ji however was more worried about how hard it is to get all your stats to the limit.
If I Yun Ji can reach 100 with all of my stats then I could then die without regret.
Yum Ji tough, but if he remembered these words in twenty years he would definitely die from embarrassment.

¡°Uncle Shu is really strange, we don¡¯t even know where he lives, but he always appears when he is needed and quickly disappears when he is not...¡± Huo Ba spoke curious. Although Grandpa Shu was mysterious but because he was really nice and he looked really poor they thought that he must live somewhere nearby in secretive place. But like them he must have faced unfortunate accident and now he must hide or maybe he was even crippled.
After this incident they quickly calmed down and started training but they soon enough became ecstatic again, because they had huge gains.
As Shuang Dao trained he saw Jiang Li coming towards him, so he stopped and waited Jiang Li.
¡°Brother Shuang can we talk?¡± Jiang Li spoke very seriously.
Seeing this Shuang Dao knit his eyebrows as it seemed a serious matter, he nodded his head and followed Jiang Li for around the corner.
¡°What¡¯s wrong?¡± Shuang Dao quickly spoke in worried manner as he looked at Jiang Li.
¡°This... Brother Shuang, I do not know if you noticed, but actually I fell for Huo Ba, but she is older than me and she is more mature... Do you think that Huo Ba could like me?¡± Jiang Li said extremely embarrassed, he felt like he could die.
Shuang Dao gapped this was actually quite serious matter, because this could affect the whole teams relationship. The next morning after everyone slept and went out, they noticed that Jiang Li was not there.
¡°Where did Jiang Li go?¡± Yun Ji asked others.
¡°No idea...¡± all of them said.
Looking around they could see in the distance a silhouette who was running towards them, holding something sparkling in its hands. The silhouette looked all muddy and its clothes were ripped everywhere.
It was Jiang Li who was running and holding beautiful red sparkling flower in his hand wrapped in a cloth. The flower had 5 spread out yellow hade petals and green sparkling stem. It was extremely gorgeous flower with very mystifying aroma.
Wide smile on Jiang Li¡¯s face could be seen as he approached them, ¡°Morning.¡± He said and quickly went next to Huo Ba, ¡°I-I, ¡®Accidentally¡¯ found this flower while strolling around the town... I thought you might want to have it...¡± Jiang Li was red faced as he quickly gave the flower to Huo Ba.
¡°T-Thank you.¡± Huo Ba looked at Jiang Li flabbergasted.
Jiang Li nodded then quickly turned around, and spoke, ¡°Ah what a good day for training!¡± and started heading towards their training grounds. You could see his face red as reddest apple and his ears looked burning from far away.
Huo Ba wanted to say something as she raised her hand, but Lin Hao stopped her and giggled.
Everyone else held their laugh while Yun Ji quickly ran next to Jiang Li and raised his thumb, giving thumbs up, ¡°Good job.¡± He said as he headed together with him.
Shuang Dao looked at the two girls, but didn¡¯t say anything as he also quickly cached up to the other two.
¡°You are the real man Jiang Li, at least you can honestly show you feelings!¡± Yun Ji said as he glanced at Shuang Dao with mocking smile. Jiang Li hearing this put on mighty look and Shuang Dao just ignored Yun Ji.
At the same time Lin Hao took Huo Ba to her shed where she carefully put her flower inside a hand sized pit she dug out. Putting the stem inside the pit she covered it with soil.
¡°Huo Ba, you should definitely think about Jiang Li...¡± Lin Hao spoke seriously.
Huo Ba was rather pale as she didn¡¯t know what to do, the flower that Jiang Li got was very beautiful and it smelled really good. It didn¡¯t seem like it was easy to get as well, he might have even risked his life.
¡°But he is like little brother to me...¡± Huo Ba spoke hesitatingly. She didn¡¯t want to hurt Jiang Li, but she also didn¡¯t like him like that.

They nodded, ¡°Hello, is our emblem done?¡± Shuang Dao spoke calmly with smile.
¡°Yes, your emblem is done, I will get it in a moment.¡± As she said so she walked off somewhere and when she came back she was holding a hand sized emblem in her hand.
She handed the emblem to Shuang Dao, ¡°Is it good?¡± asked the Attendant.
Solitary Demons looked at the emblem as they were amazed by the craftsmanship. The carved and painted Starry Sky was certainly amazing to look at and it was very beautiful.
¡°It¡¯s really pretty!¡± Exclaimed Lin Hao, she was actually the one who came up with it in the first place.
¡°Then that¡¯s great. Is there anything else you want today?¡± The attendant asked politely.
¡°Yes we would like to take on a Quest.¡± Shuang Dao spoke.
¡°Okay.¡± Attendant said and took out a pile of paper. On each one of the papers there was a bronze marking. This means that it is bronze level quest, on each of the quests there is written how many points it will give. There were all kinds of Quests with the reward and how many people can precipitate written on it. Some of them even had special requirements such as stats, age and gender.
¡°Filter them so it would only show five people or more, around our age and statistics.¡± Shuang Dao spoke and the attendant quickly and professionally ordered them. Taking out one which seemed to meet their requirements.
¡°Looking after Old Man Shu in his mansion for one year.
Reward: 500 gold coins or more, depending on the Old Man Shu.
Requirements: Age 11-13, group of 5 people.¡±
They exclaimed in surprise especially looking at the date added it was actually today. They hit a jackpot! They thought.
Also they were extremely suspicious and cautious for such a big reward only looking after old man for one year. They could literally live their whole life without problem with that much money.
¡°Should we do it?¡± Shuang Dao looked at others.
¡°I don¡¯t know¡ This looks too much of a coincidence and also really creepy... An old man wants 11-13 year olds to look after him...¡± Yun Ji spoke with eyebrows knitted.
¡°I think we can try it, and if he tries anything weird we can quit the quest.¡± Jiang Li said as he looked at others.
Huo Ba and Lin Hao agreed with Jiang Li and so the matter was decided.
¡°We accept this quest.¡± Spoke Shuang Dao.
Then the information about the location of the Quest and other details were given to the Solitary Demons.
¡°You were truly lucky with this one!¡± Attendant exclaimed.
¡°Old Man Shu is the richest person around here and it is even said that he is already one thousand years old!¡± Attendant said as she was a bit jealous of their luck.
The Solitary Demons were shocked. Did they just spend the luck they accumulated for the past 13 years?
Not thinking about it anymore they headed to the direction show on the little map. They headed towards Flying Tiger Mountain! Going past few narrow roads they arrived in front of a humongous gates and fence that surrounded gardens and huge mansion.
Two guards were standing in front of the gates they wore heavy armor and looked very sturdy. They had helmets that left uncovered eyes and mouth. They were just standing there with blank, expressionless look.
¡°Hello we are here for the Quest.¡± Shuang Dao spoke as he looked at the two guards.
One guard then tapped the gate as it slowly opened and an old man was standing behind the gates.
Looking at the old man the Solitary Demons were shocked to see that it was actually Uncle Shu!
¡°Uncle Shu how come you are here?¡± Yun Ji spoke as he gapped.
Uncle Shu smiled gently, ¡°Actually I am Old Man Shu, but you five were special so I let you call me Uncle Shu.¡± Old Man Shu spoke casually.
¡°B-but you would always dress so...¡± Yun Ji spoke again.
¡°I just like dressing very simple and I am actually near death so I naturally look shabby.¡± Old Man Shu said casually again.
¡°B-but you also ate that spirit beast as if it was long time since you ate it...¡± Yun Ji Spoke more and more confused.

The Mansion was surrounded by beautiful ponds, trees and flowers; birds, ants and cats were playing around. It looked like a holy ground which mortals would not be able to enter.
Because this Holy ground was surrounded by huge trees which had unclear age as they rocketed towards heavens so much that no one was able to see this ground.
Entering the mansion they saw exquisite paintings and extravagant curvatures it seemed that Old Man Shu had a hobby of collecting extraordinary art work.
They entered a side room with a low table and 6 lavish armchairs, the room had more beautiful paintings and a big window to the gardens. If one sat there, then they would be able to see the gorgeous garden.
As they sat down five maids entered, carrying porcelain cups on plates, sugar holder as well as beautiful tea pot which spread amazing aroma of green tea.
Holding a cup with the tea Old Man Shu finally spoke:
¡°Solitary Demons. It¡¯s really impressive name, but I am afraid it would not be long lived, if you kept risking it. As you all five know, life is not a game, if you die you will not just start all over again.
You all neither have knowledge nor the strength to adventure the world.
Actually I think fate had led you too me, as I will die in roughly a year.¡± Old Man Shu spoke calmly while sipping tea.
When they heard that the Uncle is about to die, they couldn¡¯t help but be sad, after all, he was really good person.
¡°So I have decided to take you five under my tutelage and spend my last year with you. Also depending on your determination you will get an according reward,¡± Old Man Shu made a quick pause and continued, ¡°I also want to take Huo Ba as my disciple. She has great talent for alchemy.¡±
Solitary Demons were flabbergasted at this point, but also extremely ecstatic. They couldn¡¯t help but feel like they were dreaming.
What does it mean to be supported by someone rich? It means that they will have countless recourses for improvement. What does it mean to be supported by an alchemist? It means that you can get recourses you would not be able to get for any amount of money.

¡°Yes that is normal fairies that you are talking about and what you said is indeed true, but Royal Blood Fairies are actually very similar to humans. It¡¯s that you are sealed right now and so you are unable to use your fairy powers such as flight and natural affinity to wind magic. Royal Blood Fairies are natural rulers of the fairy race and they have the best affinity towards nature. This makes them the best alchemist, but not only that! You actually have a fire affinity too, a Fairy with fire affinity!¡± Old Man Shu spoke with passion and excitement especially the last sentence he was basically shouting.
Solitary Demons were totally flabbergasted, because they knew little about this whole race thing.

Huo Ba was rather excited because this meant that she could find out something about her background.
¡°But how come my powers are sealed and I am not in the fairy land?¡± Huo Ba asked confused.
¡°I do not know that, but I can unseal your powers if you become my disciple, naturally.¡± Old Man Shu spoke calmly. As if he didn¡¯t care if she becomes his disciple or not.
Huo Ba didn¡¯t know what to do after all everything was too good to be true.
¡°How can we trust you for not using anything suspicious on her?¡± Jiang Li spoke as he was the most worried about her.
¡°I, White Spiritual Flying Tiger always hold my word.¡± Old Man Shu spoke.

Old Man Shu couldn¡¯t help but start laughing, ¡°Was I not the one who told you about this legend?¡±
All of them after a minute of thinking suddenly said, ¡°Ah!¡±
Solitary Demons were embarrassed for getting fooled like that.
¡°Well actually it is true, after I became the strongest expert I was bored; so I started venturing the world. I can tell you that this world is extremely big and it holds many secrets. Actually it took me nearly 9 thousand years to venture it whole, and afterwards I settled here.¡± Old Man Shu spoke calmly still sipping tea.
¡°I am actually 10532 years old this year.¡± Old Man Shu spoke as if he was proud.
Seeing doubtful and shocked look on the Solitary Demons faces he started laughing again.
¡°Look, I¡¯ll show you.¡± Old Man Shu waved his hand and they all suddenly appeared behind the mansion where it was beautiful beyond comparison. Birds were singing and sun pierced through the trees speeding towards the ground, making it a fantastical view. Ponds were surrounded by dears and chickens were playing around. There was a clear flowery and nature-y smell, that freshness that could not be compared to other places.
The old man in front of them started shining.
Wind sprang up and the cloudless sky started darkening as alarming clouds surrounded them. Lightning dragons started flying among them as thunder shook everything.

Suddenly five hundred meters tall and one kilometre long, white tiger with wings spread out appeared in front of them. The white tiger had faint black stripes all over it and deep light blue eyes which looked extraordinary and ancient. Adding to it the absolutely angelic wings, the white spiritual flying tiger looked like Supreme Being who has descended to the world of mortals.
It gave of such an overbearing aura that they had no choice but to kneel in front of it.
¡°Now do you believe me?¡± White Spiritual flying tiger reverberated with overpowering voice which could shatter heavens.
Looking at the white tiger whose one nail was three times larger than all of them added up. They gulped deeply as they barely lifted their heads looked at the huge eyes that were staring at them. Could sweat dripped from their forehead.
All they could do is franticly nod with their heads.
When they did the White Spiritual Flying Tiger disappeared together with it the pressure as well. Standing In front of the Solitary Demons was Old Man Shu.
¡°Do you take me as master?¡± Old Man Shu spoke with resolve in front of Huo Ba.
¡°Yes!¡± She spoke firmly with her youthful voice which sounded like a melody.
Huo Ba bowed deeply, it is her first bow to her master.
Looking at his disciple Old Man Shu was really happy to find a good successor to his alchemic methods. Unfortunately for others he is not able to teach them martial arts because he would fight in his true form and would not use humanly martial arts or any kind of weapon besides his claws. Although during his years of travelling he came to find an excellent humanly foundation training method.
¡°Stand straight disciple now I shall unseal your true power!¡± As Old Man Shu lightly tapped with his finger on Huo Ba¡¯s forehead.
Suddenly Huo Ba started shining just like the Old Man Shu before, but this time the sky cleared up as she started sparkling. Suddenly fairy wings appeared on her back and she started floating. Her eyes closed, she sparkled more and more as she looked like divine beauty. The aura of Queen appeared around her as if she was overlooking everyone
Seeing this the Old Man Shu was rather a bit surprised.
It seems that her bloodline is not as simple royal bloodline Fairy.
Huo Ba¡¯s eyes opened as divine light shined from them andall the animals from the gardens rushed towards her as if she was her best friend.
That was one of the unique qualities of fairies as she had the closest bloodline to the Mother Nature. The Goddess who controls the nature and life. All the non-spiritual, simple living animals and most beautiful things are said to be created by her.
The gleam from her eyes disappeared as she descended on the ground she was curiously looking at her wings. Folding them around her it could even act as a natural protection and they are far from fairies weakness unlike the legends say they are.
She started touching her wings as she realised that they are much like silk, but extremely sensitive as she could feel even the lowest current of wind. The wings were as big as her and all kind of bright colours especially light blue light green and white, almost transparent.
¡°Whoa!¡± Yun Ji spoke. As he looked at Huo Ba¡¯s wings.
Yun Ji looked at Jiang Li with evil smile, ¡±Jiang Li, maybe I will go after Huo Ba as well...¡± Jiang Li spoke very teasingly as he put his hand over his chest.
Jiang Li heard this and he thought that Yun Ji was being serious, ¡°NO! You definitely can¡¯t do that! Huo Ba only loves me!¡± Jiang Li spoke confidently as he held his head high.
Huo Ba was shocked, ¡°No one loves you!¡± Huo Ba shouted as she was embarrassed when she was caught off guard by Jiang Li¡¯s words.
Jiang Li went all white as if his blood has been sucked out and he was about to fall on ground.
One must truly say that Jiang Li¡¯s and Yun Ji¡¯s acting skills are peerless.
Catching Jiang Li, Yun Ji was shocked as almost tears started flowing, ¡°Huo Ba quickly, give him a hug, so he would recover!¡±
¡°Quickly! Quickly!¡± Yun Ji said again as he pushed Jiang Li towards her.
Huo Ba got confused and before realization she was already hugging Jiang Li. Jiang Li who already somehow regained all his vitality also tightly hugged Huo Ba.

The Solitary Demons finally got serious as they stood properly.

¡°I am feeling great! I feel the wind surrounding me and I feel much closer to the little animals and nature. I can also feel the sun much better. Besides that...¡± As Huo Ba said that she focused on her mind and her status appeared in the black void.

Lin Hao¡¯s and Shuang Dao¡¯s room were next to each other, while going further from the Lin Hao¡¯s room it was Yun Ji, Huo Ba and Jiang Li.
¡°For now rest, in the morning I¡¯ll send maids.¡± Old Man Shu said as he disappeared right after.
Going to their rooms they were mentally preparing themselves for tomorrow as they knew that they will need to endure harsh training. Huo Ba was the most worried, but none of them could sleep when the night has come.

Inside Shuang Dao¡¯s room, currently all of the Solitary Demons were sitting on the gigantic king-size bed.
¡°I am so excited and scared for tomorrow that I can¡¯t even sleep¡¡± Lin Hao said as she kept biting her nails.
¡°Everyone here is way too excited and are not able to sleep, so what are we to do now?¡± Huo Ba said as she could not calm down.
Shuang Dao as their leader, he was the calmest of them all and spoke the least, but at this moment even he was excited for this upcoming training. He did not know what is waiting for him or his team mates, he did not know if they will face danger or not.
¡°There is only one thing we can do in this situation. Sit here unable to sleep, or go train till we pass out!¡± Shuang Dao spoke as he smiled with evil smile.
Everyone exclaimed, they have never trained before until they passed out, well except Shuang Dao who was crazy.
Getting their shabby metal swords they headed out outside towards what looked like more or less a training ground, as it was full of sturdy sand perfect for training.

Standing in straight line they swung their sword down like one would with an axe cutting log in half. This was the most physically intensive swing they could do and was also the hardest swing to perfect. This is because this swing required perfect body coordination with the sword as it would have to be perfectly straight at 90 degrees when cut. Air resistance and other forces would prevent the sword from completely straight 90 degrees cut, only using their eye-body-sword coordination can one achieve such a thing. If one can complete this coordination perfectly then one could even cut steel like butter with just average strength.
Wind whistled as they persisted in this training.
Looking through the window at the top of the mansion was Old Man Shu. He had smile on his face as he nodded with his head. What one needs to achieve success the most is persistence and will power; this is the most important factor in achieving what one wants. Even if one is foolish to the core if once persists and studies one will finally achieve greatness and be forever respected by others. This is because willpower does not need anything but yourself to improve. If one wants to be powerful one can make one powerful, if one truly wants something then one will achieve that. There certain steps to that, first one being of having a dream second is being ready to do it, and third one doing it. Just like that. Simple but hard.
Of course in most cases this is true, but world is not butterflies and flowers and something can never happen no matter how hard you try to achieve it. This is simply because of the fact that you are fighting against yourself. Subconsciously you know that your fight is futile but you still try until you die. After some time it becomes your inner devil and it¡¯s too late to come back and you are forever ruined. That¡¯s why one must be realistic and go together with your true self. If for example you know you are good at something, but refuse to go that path just because. If you are good at something and you truly know that, you should not fight that, but instead embrace it. Only your inner self knows what¡¯s best for you. It¡¯s your inner Dao, your own special Dao.
After swinging their swords for two hours first one to knock out was Yun Ji as he fell unconscious from all the training.
Appearing next to them was Old Man Shu who took Yun Ji.

One after another they fell on the ground as time passed, Old Man Shu would come every time and take one.

Opening his eyes Shuang Dao realised that he was inside water and that he was in a bath. His whole body, head included was covered with water and on the surface of the water was wax.
Getting his head out of the water wax naturally easily broke in to many pieces and slid of his head.
*GASP*
Shuang Dao started breathing heavily as if he forgot that he wasn¡¯t breathing. Looking at the side there were four other baths covered in wax. Naturally he realized that his friends are there as well.
Aroma spread out in this room which was made out of wood and it was rather warm. Some orange/blue clothes were put at the end of the room apparently for them. As paper with their names was put on top of the clothes.
Shuang Dao checked out his body as he realised that he had improved his strength by one. He was naturally happy with his improvement as got out of the bath. He felt completely ecstatic and full of energy, this was probably the first time he slept so well.
Looking at his companions he decided not to wake them up just this time. Shuang Dao got out of the water, checking for a towel which was next to the bath. Drying off and cleaning the wax from his body, he looked at clothes at the end of the room. He was actually extremely curious about the clothes that were put at the end of the room.
Walking next to the one¡¯s with his name he picked them up and noticed that they were orange with blue areas on it. Alas it was actually not just simple clothes it was actually an uniform. Gasping he looked at them closely from all angles, sniffing them even. They looked completely normal but actually extremely extraordinary. The blue and orange complemented each other. The uniform was short sleeved, and the sleeves were blue, while the main part which covered half of his body were orange as well as his pants which were orange. The undershirt was blue and the shoes were Orange with blue lines to the side of them. On the chest part there was a symbol of tiger, the symbol was completely black with seemingly stars all over it.
Looking at the mirror which was at the side he realized that it was all misty so he couldn¡¯t see himself, cleaning it with his sleeve he could finally clearly see himself in it. Rotating his body to the sides he realized that he looked rather good in it.

Shuang Dao thought as he smiled and headed out. It was already morning and so the birds and other animals were talking about their night¡¯s sleep.
*Chirp* *chirp* One little bird landed on Shuang Dao¡¯s shoulder as it smelled Shuang Dao. This is because Shuang Dao been in bath full of all kinds of alchemic medicine that Old Man Shu made. It was obviously top quality stuff.
Shuang Was rather surprised as he looked at the bird and the bird looked at Shuang Dao as it leaned its head to the side.
Old Man Shu who was cutting the bushes carefully looked at Shuang Dao and smiled.
¡°So you are finally awake!¡± Old Man Shu said as if he was clueless.
¡°Yes!¡± Shuang Dao answered.
¡°How was my Spirit medicine bath?¡± Old Man Shu asked.
¡°I slept the best in my entire life¡¡± Shuang Dao spoke wide eyed when he looked at Old Man Shu.
¡°What was the medicine in the bath?¡± Shuang Dao curiously looked at Old Man Shu.
¡°It was nothing, just couple grade twelve spirit medicine.¡± Old Man Shu spoke calmly with smile. As he held his cutters he continued shortening the bushes.
Hearing this Shuang Dao was like, ¡°Eh?!!!??!??!¡±
¡°B-b-b-but I thought highest grade spirit medicine is grade 3!¡± Shuang Dao exclaimed to the maximum he even started sniffing himself, thinking that he must not let any medicinal aroma escape or it would be too big of a waste.

Shuang Dao was so embarrassed he wanted to hide under a rock and never come out.
¡°Now then let¡¯s not wake others up let them absorb the medicine to the maximum. Actually I want to talk with you seriously and this is the best moment.¡± Old Man Shu spoke seriously.
Shuang Dao nodded with his head.
Old Man Shu put his arm around Shuang Dao like man to man he said, ¡°Do you know what your inner demon is?¡± Old Man Shu spoke extremely seriously.
Shuang Dao was shocked by Old Man Shu¡¯s question as he wasn¡¯t sure what he was talking about.
Both were silent as Old Man Shu led Shuang Dao to the training grounds where Solitary Demons were training yesterday. In the middle of the training grounds there was a sword stabbed into the ground half way of the blade.

These words kept repeating in Shuang Dao¡¯s head as he looked at the sword in front of him.
He did not know what was going on, the world around him started darkening as he felt deep headache. He could not take his eyes from the sword as he kept staring at it.
Old Man Shu¡¯s words were injected with Spiritual Energy which pierced his mind and went straight to his heart.
The world around him slowed down as he felt his heart beat increase.
His head started spinning as he felt like himself going crazy.
The more he stared at the sword the bigger pain he felt.
Old Man Shu strongly patted Shuang Dao on the shoulder and he got back to reality. Shuang Dao shook his head as he was getting over it.
¡°Something happened when you were little and since then an inner sword demon possessed you. Maybe you saw someone dear to you killed by a sword. Instead of being afraid of swords you got obsessed by them like some devil. This even influenced others around you, your will-power is too strong and so you were not willing to face your true self.¡± Old Man Shu spoke seriously as he looked Shuang Dao in the eyes.
Shuang Dao trembled, ¡°No I love swords!¡± Shuang Dao said as he kneeled and tears started rolling from his face. He remembered someone getting his head cut off by a sword when Shuang Dao was very little, but he could not remember the face or clear figure of the person. The only thing he knew, is that the person was very dear to him. Being able to remember something when he was around 1 year old is already extremely shocking and it meant that it was deeply imprinted into his mind. One either completely forgets about the bad things that happen to one, or it is implemented in to one¡¯s mind.
¡°You have two choices right now Shuang Dao! You either forget the way of the sword and choose different path or become a demon possessed by the Dao of the sword! THERE WILL BE NO TURNING BACK AND YOU WILL FOREVER LOOSE YOUR COMPANIONS!¡± Old Man Shu shouted as he looked at Shuang Dao.
¡°No, I love swords! No! No! NO! NO!¡± Shuang Dao started screaming as he was blinded by his inner demon.
Shuang Dao grabbed the sword next to him and started swinging it like a madman as tears fell from his eyes.
¡°BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! DO NOT LET THE INNER DEMON CONTROL YOU!¡± Old Man Shu shouted as he looked at Shuang Dao, unfortunately inner demons can only be handled by your true self and so he could not help Shuang Dao directly. All he could do is help Shuang Dao engage is inner self.
¡°Shut up! Shut the fuck up!¡± Shuang Dao shouted as he swung his sword towards Old Man Shu like a madman.
Old Man Shu neither quickly nor slowly took hold of the sword. Holding the sword in the hand while retreating few meters he blew on the sword and the sword was blow away by the wind! The whole sword turned to dust.
¡°Give me my sword!¡± Shuang Dao shouted like a devil with horrendous voice.

At this time Solitary demons were still peacefully hibernating in the baths not suspecting a single thing.
Shuang Dao continued to punch and kick Old Man Shu, but without any success.
Suddenly something clicked in Shuang Dao¡¯s head, ¡°FUCK OFF!!!!!!!!!¡± he started screaming with all his power even his hair floated for a second before turning back to normal. It was the power of his spirit, his inner self.
¡°What an astonishing will to go against the heavens! He could not accept the fact that someone dear to him was killed with a sword so he tried to control the sword like a madman. It¡¯s as if he wanted to possess the sword and destroy it thoroughly so that no one else in the universe could use sword ever again!¡± Old Man Shu was speculating in his mind, throughout his thousands of years he had seen too many things, but he never seen such a will. A will that just a simple human possesses!
¡°Sword is the only way!¡± Shuang Dao shouted looking towards left and then next moment he looked at his right, ¡°I hate the way of the sword!¡± It was as if he was talking to himself.
¡°You can¡¯t destroy Dao of the sword it¡¯s invincible!¡± Shuang Dao looked at his left, the he looked at his right, ¡°I will destroy you fucking heavens and make it so that no one can use a sword ever again!¡± Shuang Dao punched his left side of the face as he knocked himself out.
Inside his mind Shuang Dao was standing in front of another himself, but the other one was holding a sword in his hand.
¡°It¡¯s time for you to behave like a good kid!¡± The true self of Shuang Dao spoke and punched his Inner Demon in the face.
Blocking the punch Inner Demon clicked his tongue and stabbed Shuang Dao in the heart.
Shuang Dao smiled as his heart was pierced, ¡°You are forgetting that you are in my world!¡± Shuang Dao shouted as pushed forward sword going out of his back.
Standing right in front of Inner Demon Shuang Dao pierced with his hand Inner Demon in the heart and grabbed the Inner Demons heart he pulled it out like a savage.
¡°You are me and I am you! SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!¡± Shuang Dao true self shouted as he stepped back and the inner demon fell on the ground while he took out the sword with another hand. Then he put Inner Demons heart inside his chest where the sword was pierced before.
¡°I am you, and you are me! We need to cooperate you piece of shit. You do know the immensity Heaven and Earth!¡±
After the time it takes to brew a cup of tea Shuang Dao finally awoke, his eyes clear and no longer clouded by the Inner Demon.
He lifted his head and looked at Old Man Shu, ¡°T-thank you for helping me¡ I could not control it anymore, but it seems like ever since I saw you yesterday and how powerful you were. I entered completely new world, before I was just a frog in the well, your aura shook my inner self and that¡¯s why I was able to free myself¡¡± Shuang Dao spoke as tears fell from his eyes, he still could hardly think that he even affected others with his inner demon.
¡°I must tell my companions, and if they want they should change their weapons¡ It was only because of me that their eyes were clouded.
Old Man Shu nodded as he looked at Shuang Dao, ¡°You made the right decision, now you must find a weapon that suits you the best.¡±
¡°No¡¡± Shaung Dao suddenly spoke and he looked at Old Man Shu who was momentarily startled by Shuang Dao words, ¡°My weapon will be my body and my body alone.¡±

It was the strongest foundation technique that he has ever seen. Unfortunately it didn¡¯t go further than foundation, but he was sure of one thing. ¡°Shuang Dao do you know that there are three paths that all beings pursue? One is the path of Pneuma energy, another one is Qi energy and the third one is Spiritual Energy. Spirit can be manifested in 5 different elements just like Qi and Spiritual energy, but the difference is that Spirit focuses on the mind while Qi focuses on your Dantian! Qi is the essence of the blood, while Pneuma is the essence of your inner true self! But both of them has to get the energy from the universe. Spiritual energy is not any different, but only spirit beasts can pursue it, as they are the ones who have Spirit Core. However Spirit Core contains both Pneuma energy and Spirit energy. That¡¯s why Beasts are unable to actually cultivate Pneuma energy and only Spirit energy. When one kills the beast, Pneuma energy escapes the body as it is deeply connected to your soul. That¡¯s why when one dies some of the Pneuma energy travels with you towards reincarnation. Making so that the more powerful you were in your last life the more powerful you will be in your next life, and it doesn¡¯t matter in what form you are reborn. Humans and other beings however has four cores! They have three Qi cores and one Spiritual Core! They are both the paths of walking bomb as they accumulate more and more energy in the end manifesting into different forms.
But what would happen if one relied on strengthening one¡¯s body and mind without absorbing the energy of the universe into their cores? Every single thing has Pneuma and Qi/Spiritual energy, normal people accumulate Qi and Pneuma energy over the years but of course because they are not strengthening their cores enough it finally leaks which is, ¡®natural death¡¯. What would happen if one would have cores so strong that they would never be braked? The answer is immortality!
This is the dream of every single expert! Through arduous practice and the energy of the universe one can strengthen your container but if one practises Qi then one is unable to strengthen the spirit too much and vice versa. So one of the containers will eventually burst and you will die. What would happen if you would suddenly stop absorbing that Qi and Spirit energy? Would that mean your core would never burst?
With this technique we will know if it¡¯s possible or not! For me it¡¯s too late, but for you it¡¯s not, you might be the only one who can cultivate this technique. It all depends on your luck.¡±

Opening the first page there was an image of rabbit and under it written, ¡°Rabbit Gate.¡± It started with, ¡°The first gate of rabbit is something everyone can achieve, but whether you can achieve higher Gate depends on you.
Requirement for achieving Sheep Gate: Control status 50 or more by the day your age hits number 13. In other words the time it takes for the sun orbit the plane 4,732 times. If the requirement is not met by then, it means you have no chance to achieve higher Gate. If one practices this technique even if the requirements not met then they will be able to put the rabbit gate but will never be able to put on the seal of higher grade
Still! I believe that my technique is definitely number one foundation technique under heaven! Although I died trying to comprehend the next Gate after Sheep gate, but I believe that someone with my notes and knowledge will finally be able to achieve it.¡±

¡°In order to achieve the Rabbit gate one has to train 5 specific techniques. Spliting! To split perfectly in half a military longsword with both of your hands and feet.
Drilling! Bing able to pierce military armour with feet, hand and ankles.
Crushing- Being able to withstand 100m crashing waterfall for ten minutes. While being hit to every part of the body be able to withstand ten military men with strength, agility, control and endurance stats being over 90 for ten minutes. Being able to withstand a hit from a cannon ball which is hundred meters away from you.
Pounding! Being able to explode with the power equivalent to that of a canon with punches and two canons with your feet.
Crossing! Being as fast as Spirit leopard and agile as Spirit rabbit!
One can use various techniques to achieve these result but that is just secondary. The purpose of this technique is to put a seal and strengthen Qi and Pneuma Cores so that they would not absorb Qi and Pneuma energy! Of course that is the bad thing of this technique, because you would be unable to ever cultivate Qi or Spirit energy! There is a catch to this technique. When one puts these gate seals on the cores some phenomenon appears and you unlock the limitations of your body meaning you can surpass the limit of all your stats. You can acquire much bigger stats in total with the Rabbit Gate and you also double your life span as well as increase the circulation in your body of Qi and Spirit energies. Once you reach other requirements you can then seal your cores once again with Sheep Gate and be able to break the limits once again! At the same time you double your life span once again and your Qi and Pneuma energy circulation in your body increases again. Your Qi and Pneuma cores are then strengthened. Until you reach your limits again after putting on rabbit gate you will not be able to awaken.¡± Shuang Dao was completely confused.
¡°What is this awakening that the manual is talking about?¡± Shuang Dao asked Old Man Shu curiously.
¡°Awakening refers to the moment when you reach the limit of your stats you are then able to absorb Qi and Pneuma through created techniques. Which in this case means that you would need greater amount of total stats before you can absorb Spirit and Qi in your body. Which is actually a good thing because once you reach limits, one is basically not able to improve any more through any kind of method as you reach your body limit. After this you would have to use various cultivation techniques to improve further which means that your limit is naturally bigger that of other people, around double actually!¡±
Shuang Dao nodded with his head and continued reading.
¡°This technique is actually not as useless as you think right now, because you can open seal gates put on your cores! This increases your stats by 81% and the second gate increases by another 18%! But that is only for ten minutes in total. Additionally every Gate has its specialty when you open the Rabbit gate you are then able to increase your agility by another 72%. This puts a great strain on the body so you must keep all of your stats in equilibrium! This is because of another phenomenon that happens when one opens these gates. The less you try to improve your stats the more other of your stats increase. Meaning that you can actually focus on specific stats instead of always having specific equilibrium that you have to maintain. It somehow contradicts the stats in general it¡¯s as if when you put more and more gates the more blurry status window becomes. I have noticed that after you put on Rabbit gate your status inaccuracy is 10% and with sheep gate it¡¯s around 20% inaccuracy.
At the same time you cannot use any cultivation techniques when using my technique or it will make it that you won¡¯t be able to achieve higher grade. If you already got Rabbit Gate that means when you reach your limits and met the initial requirement then you can put on Sheep Gate. If you gain one stat through cultivation then you will render forever incapable of putting on Sheep Gate, which would probably be the same for all other Gates if you create them. ¡±
Shuang Dao stopped reading there as his head was already spinning and he didn¡¯t know what was going on, he could barely understand everything.

Huo Ba sat up in the bath as she saw Jiang Li naked in front of the mirror.
She didn¡¯t understood what was going on so she rubbed her eyes, taking her hands from her eyes she saw Jiang Li looking at her with red face. Staring at him for a second before she realized that she was completely naked. Seeing each other¡¯s private parts they both were speechless, but then Huo Ba screamed as she covered her cherries.
Jiang Li started running towards the door when he suddenly slipped and fell badly.
¡°Ah!¡±Huo Ba was so scared of Jiang Li getting hurt that she stood up, but then Yun Ji when getting up looked at her for a moment and realized that he is so dead right now.
¡°AH!¡± Huo Ba covered her private parts as she got back into the bath.
Jiang Li then quickly rushed outside, but then Lin Hao sat up as well as she started breathing heavily. Because of special medicine they did not need to breathe and were hibernated, but after one awoke one would naturally need to breath.
Looking around she saw Huo Ba, but then Yun Jiang and Shuang Dao woke up as well.

After waiting for half an hour naked and outside they were shivering as it was rather cold, while around the corner an old man was laughing hysterically.

Leaving the house Huo Ba and Lin Hao were now wearing gorgeous orange uniform which suited them perfectly. Although they didn¡¯t look elegant, but it looked very special and unique. The girls didn¡¯t talk with them just glared at them angry, while the three boys were holding their heads down and entered the wooden house.

Lin Hao and Huo Ba were waiting outside.

The Old Man Shu nodded, ¡°Easily done.¡± He snapped with his fingers and a butler came. Old man told him to build another house with baths next to the first one.
¡°Did you all sleep well?¡± Old Man Shu spoke as he smiled.
Everyone nodded and then Shuang Dao spoke, ¡°I have something to tell you guys¡¡±
Shuang Dao then explained what happened. That he was possessed by inner demon and about the cultivation technique and that they can change to whatever weapon they want.
They decided that they are fine with swords, but when Old Man Shu gave each of them a sword, they realised that it didn¡¯t feel as good as it did before as if they lost passion for it. ¡°I would actually like to try out bow¡¡± Huo Ba spoke as she actually fancied bow a lot and because she can fly, she would naturally be in advantage if she used a bow. It¡¯s was like she was born to use a bow.
¡°I agree Huo Ba using a bow would be perfect.¡± Shuang Dao spoke completely agreeing.
Everyone understood just how valuable and over powered is someone who can fly and use bow at the same time. Well at least they were aware of the fact that if she used a bow none of them would have a chance against her.
¡°Wonderful then I¡¯ll get a bow for you, as my disciple I¡¯ll make sure that you get the best quality bow. Since you won¡¯t be able use to Spirit and Qi for a while you won¡¯t be able to use any kind of Spirit or Qi equipment I naturally cannot give you a bow that is usable with those two energies.¡± Old Man Shu spoke.
¡°I would like to stay with sword, but can I get another sword?¡± Yun Ji spoke next with his eyes shining. He really liked the idea of having two swords and he actually still liked swords. Actually previously he probably would¡¯ve used two swords but it¡¯s actually incredibly inefficient and is better to just use one sword. Unless one¡¯s sword mastery reaches extremely great level one would just be wasting time. Although now he believed that he can achieve great mastery in it, he did not understand why though.
Old Man Shu nodded with his head.
¡°Then can I get a dagger?¡± Lin Hao spoke a bit embarrassed.
¡°Why would you get dagger?¡± Shuang Dao asked worried, it was because dagger was just second worst weapon besides fighting bare handed against someone with weapon.
When Old Man Shu heard what Ling Hao spoke he was rather surprised, but the other thing he noticed is a gleam in her eyes, something was strange about her eyes.
¡°Fighting with dagger is extremely dangerous and the weapon is not for head on fight, but I guess for your team if Shuang Dao and Jiang Li distracts the enemies and you backstab it, then it might work.¡± Old Man Shu spoke calmly and Lin Hao nodded her head as she understood.
¡°Then I want to try a two handed, double edged, battle axe!¡± Jiang Li said ecstatic, this weapon is as powerful as it sounds, completely savage weapon.
¡°Whoa smallest one want the biggest weapon eh, guess down there is not big enough! AHAHA!¡± Yun Ji spoke as he started laughing hysterically and Huo Ba joined in.
Even Old Man Shu almost started laughing.
¡°Very good then, I¡¯ll be back in a moment with the weapons!¡± As Old Man Shu said so he suddenly disappeared.
¡°With these weapons our efficiency will increase by at least five hundred percent even without Shuang Dao. Since Shuang Dao doesn¡¯t have a weapon I have no idea how he will fight.¡± Yun Ji spoke as he glared at Shuang Dao.
Shuang Dao thought for a moment and then spoke, ¡°Naturally because I will be the strongest, there will be no need for me to have a weapon.¡± Shuang Dao said proudly.
¡°Good luck beating Huo Ba.¡± Lin Hao spoke as she started laughing.
¡°We will see!¡± Shuang Dao said as he sprinted towards Huo Ba and started tickling her.

¡°Easy!¡± Shuang Dao started laughing.
The next moment Old Man Shu was already standing in front of them.
¡°Okay, a bow for my dear disciple!¡± Old Man Shu said as he took out blue war bow. The string was fiery red while the bow shaft had a beautiful carvings of clouds.
¡°A bow crafted from highest quality Cloud wood for beginner strength. The string made out of dragon tendons. If you can get better wood you can just use the same string to replace it as it is best possible string in the realm and one can also input Qi or Spirit energy to get special qualities!¡± Old Man Shu spoke as he looked at his disciple.
¡°D-Dragon tendons???!!¡± Huo Ba spoke as she looked at the string which were as red as highest quality wine.
Touching the string it was actually warm.

Next Old Man Shu took out Two meter fifty centimeters in length metallic two handed, Double Edged, War Axe. The axe head had two huge blades going from sides, on the faces of the axe blades Tiger heads were imprinted. The whole axe was black and its stem were like entangled weeds and at the bottom there was little dragon head with its mouth opened.
¡°The name of this axe is, ¡®Tiger Slaying Dragons¡¯¡± Old Man Shu said as he was proud of his finding.
¡°Whoa! Even more awesome then Huo Ba¡¯s bow.¡± Jiang Li said as he looked at the axe.
¡°Now then, you will only get it when you are actually able to lift it.¡± Old Man Shu said as he smiled.
¡°Damn it, I knew there must be a catch to it!¡± Jiang Li said as he gnashed his teeth.
¡°Need to train more!¡± Jiang Li said as he started doing push-ups.
Everyone started laugh except Jiang Li.
¡°Yeah laugh! Laugh! We will see who will laugh the last!¡± Jiang li said so, as he started mumbling something.

¡°Next is two swords for Yun Ji!¡± Old Man Shu spoke and two swords appeared in his hands they had wide hand guards and very short handle but pointy and long double edged blade which reached one meter in length, they looked extremely simple but very efficient.
Taking them in hands Yun Ji realized that they were extremely light!
¡°Whoa they are so light!¡± Yun Ji spoke. Holding in his hands he could feel how comfortable they felt, it was absolutely astonishing.
¡°Naturally they are light, are you expecting to shop trees with them? Wielding two swords one must be as agile as possible.¡± That said, Old Man Shu moved next to Lin Hao.
A dagger appeared in his hand, the dagger was rather unique because it was short dagger with one edge only while the blade itself was curved like a snake. The blade came out from the mouth of an ox and the handle was if it was an actual ox, but rather skinny ox as its main body used for holding the dagger. The head works as guard of the dagger while at the back of the dagger there was a head of black wolf. The dagger cold be said to be a great masterpiece.
Now that everyone got their weapons except Huo Ba and Jiang Li who can¡¯t even use his weapon yet, deposit them in your rooms and come to the training area again.¡± Old Man Shu said so as he disappeared and deposited Jiang Li¡¯s weapon for him.

Ten minutes later everyone came back to the training grounds.
¡°Follow me.¡± Old Man Shu spoke as he headed to the north of the gardens.
Arriving at a terrace with big table and chairs. On the table there were all kinds of foods, ranging from Spirit beast meat to Spirit pills and all the way to vegetables.
¡°One must be healthy and eat properly no matter at what stage of training you are, this is because experts being able to live without food is complete bullshit! Now then for breakfast let¡¯s dig in!¡± Old Man Shu spoke and sat down on the chair. Not waiting for them he started to dig in.
¡°OHH¡ MY¡ GOD!¡± Yun Ji shouted as he kneeled holding a piece of spirit chicken in his hands and chewing huge chunks barely able to move his mouth.
¡°I really like these berries they are actually spirit fruits!¡± Lin Hao said as she ate fruit which looked like apple but much juicer and much like a big strawberry.
¡°Ughhhh, I¡¯ll never be able to eat normal food again¡¡± Jiang Li said as he chewed on a piece of meat from some kind of spirit beast.
All of them were stuffing food like there is no tomorrow.
Old Man Shu was looking at Lin Hao strangely this whole time.
