《Thundering Dragon》 Prologue title: The White Fall, the end and the beginning! Fu Lai Shan Mountain, a mountain in a star, that does not welcome any beings from the outside stars. This star is the home of the chosen protectors, today the lonely mountain was rumbling! Today it was breathing! Today it was alive! The mountain stretched for many kilometers into the sky, the peak was virtually hidden within clouds that formed of solid water. Giant boulders, mistaken for clouds would float in the sky. The boulders would occasionally make contact with the mountain, a piece of it would crack and hurl towards the main land. Actually this whole planet was a giant natural phenomenon! Each part of the planet was different. Some parts unceasingly, unending and unyielding thunder strikes! Another part with fierce flaming pillars rising from the ground to the sky. The more one looked at this place the more one would be shocked and scared. Mountains forming in an instant and exploding the next. Tsunamis, hurricanes and tempests forming in the blink of an eye, and in the next becoming a gentle breeze brushing past the mountain. This was a truly shocking world. Within the center of these natural phenomenons was a mountain, that mountain was Fu Lai Shan Mountain. More importantly, the phenomenons were ever changing. The only constant thing on this planet was this mountain. This world had its own laws and cycle, making it seem spectacular from the outside to watch this cycle. However, today it seemed like the cycle was going awry, the pillars of light would rise and come crashing down. Initially the moment they crashed they would continue growing in length and wider. The thunder strikes would descend down and strike all over the land the forming mountains would continue forming piling up into the sky. Eventually covering the world blocking out the sky, suns and the stars. Today it seemed the planet was being town apart from every corner. Atop Fu Lai Shan Mountain was a strange peak, the peak at the very crown of the mountain would split into twelve smaller peaks, each smaller peak looked ancient. The rock that formed the peaks, looked like it would crumble into dust at any given moment, yet it would not. Atop these peaks was five figures, each standing on their own respective peaks. These five figures would be standing in unison, four of these figures was positioned in a way that was a formation around the fifth figure. It looked like a formation to protect the fifth member. The fifth figure, standing in between the four was an aged man. This man stood like a pillar, every breath he drew made it seem like the mountain vibrated for a mere instant, felt the like the ground shook for miles and miles. The air escaped with each exhale, which would produce a slight whistle, but come rushing back with each inhale like a child rushing back to its parent at its beckoning. With each heartbeat, thunder would clash and explode in the air above. Stood in a protective formation of this aged man was four youths. Three boys and single female. They each stood their with a dignified aura. Although, around each of these youths an element was swirling about one could easily notice that the element swirling about was unstable. The element didn''t want to be controlled and wished to strike the youths if it had been presented with the possibility. The aged man slightly glanced at the youths, he above all could understand their control was limited. From afar this was still apparent. Even so the youths still dared to release their awakened elements. This was their conviction! Their final act in the face of death! The surroundings were completely black. Even so, one could see the brightly shining rampaging elements around the youths. Each youth had a different color surrounding them. Most apparent, was the lightning forking and snaking around the youth to the farthest right. He had black hair and black pupils a lean body. Eye blindingly light, striking around him was divine lightning! The lightning continued to travel around him and fork around his body and slither like a snake, it was impatient and continuously try to shoot off at each given time, yet it would come shrieking back to the youth who was sweating balls from his forehead clearly he was unable to last longer. Even though he couldn''t last longer he had already resolved himself to this fate, if all else would fail he would release this divine lightning beast and let it devour the oncoming enemy, even if it meant his own death! The remaining three youths were just as bad, the female had five blazing round balls that resembled a mini sun, swirling around her body. The fire that was circling around her body would occasionally rise and expand, similar to the pillars of fire. Yet this divine fire was still unable to break past a seemingly invisible barrier. The female had crimson hair and crimson lips with ruby colored eyes, her eyes was different it looked like the elemental fire was swirling in a circular motion within her pupils making anybody who looked into them, unconscionably unable to look away it was a mesmerizing scene. The remaining two youths looked the oldest but not by much, a particular youth who had the earth element forming around his body. The divine earth kept crawling up his body and accumulating like a mini spider, it would abruptly explode around different parts of his body. This youth was dark skinned, in the night he was almost invisible if it wasn''t for his milky white eyes and hair and if one never heard the rocky mountains exploding, crumbling and building around his body you wouldn''t be able to notice him in the dark. Just like the other youths his divine element wanted to escape just as bad, each explosion sounded like a volcano erupting, a planet colliding with another planet! These sounds alone would shock a mortal mans heart, if not kill him! The final youth had his eyes closed. It seemed this youth was the least submitting, it seemed like he was trying to control his element even in this predicament! He knew if he could, the situation would be turned and they wouldn''t have to fear the oncoming enemy! He even at this moment was unfaltering! However, as each moment passed he knew this wasn''t like before when he could train for as long as he wished and in the end being the most talented he would eventually have a breakthrough. However, with the enormous pressure bearing down on them he was losing the ability to make a breakthrough, also seemed like he was feeding his element more and more power which made it seem like it was going crazy, chaotic! Nobody would be able to approach him the slithering water surrounding his body was the most violent constantly whipping, spinning and slicing the air, creating a small vortex within the surrounding two meters of his body. This element was the most violent, but with a single glance from the aged man the element would quieten down, it would meekly retreat and continue eyeing the chance to escape. The youth had Silvery long hair which floated and landed around his shoulders with streaks of blue flowing through his hair, his skin was pale white and seemed like it would be bruised upon just touching it lightly. He had Silvery, blue pupils, when one looked into his eyes, it would make you feel like you was standing in a frozen domain standing off against a lone wolf. His eyes were extremely unnerving but one couldn''t help, but look at these eyes they were completely unique and not many people would posses such eyes. Truly stunning sight! Into the distance in the black, seven figures could be discerned from within the dark sheet, each of these figures resembled a human body but, was vastly different they looked demonic and demented each figure was emitting a faint dark Qi. The aura emitted from them, looked extremely dirty to the naked eye. One look at this aura would make one feel dirty and disgusted to the bone, within every cell and fiber of their body! Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. This dirty aura would unconsciously make disgusting and demented thoughts arise in your mind, it would make you think about doing things you subconsciously would never consider, staring at this aura for long, would result in your skin changing, your limbs distorting and eventually you would become extremely sinister, and slowly lose your humanity as well as human body to this Qi. The aged man would stare at these darting seven missiles enclosing towards the summit of the peak where they was currently located, he knew of the impending clash, but he looked extremely calm. The atmosphere was split into two by a seemingly thin invisible barrier one side would give of the feeling that it was calm, serene and nature was in harmony even with the natural phenomenons occurring in the background! The other side the atmosphere was chaotic, hard to breath hard to look through! With each passing moment this Qi lingered the animals, and plants in the vicinity of the deathly Qi would begin to distort, change with limbs sprouting and growing from different parts, horns and spikes erupting from their spines, and bones. The wildlife and plant life was evolving into demented beings at scary rate. Eventually, each wild life or plant life would hit a final evolution state and soon turn to look at their siblings or children and viewing them as meat. Their teeth had changed into razor sharp fangs, any living creature would begin to tear into anything with a pulse. Deers would begin biting their young-lings. Birds would peck at their newborn eggs. Wolves would begin shredding their own packs to bits.. One look at the aged man would calm the maddest of men, the aged man glanced at the youths, stopping on each briefly. He whispered a few words to each one before he raised his right arm in a slow fashion, his palm was open. Before any of the youths had a chance to contest the aged mans hand came down slow. It seemed slow however it was strikingly fast like a comet hurling towards the center of the world. With the aged mans hand descending the air was ripping below his palm it seemed like the air was seized by him. It was like somebody dropped a huge pebble into a pond the rippling was visible to the naked eye! Behind his palm the wind buffeted, whirlwinds arose from nowhere and hurricanes began viciously spinning anything that came into contact would be shredded to pieces and return back to being dust. Storms had begun whipping about enveloping each of the youths, the storms immediately began to move off into the distance, each moving in different directions with unheard of speed. Within the cocoon tempests the elements raged and crashed against the wind wall but was unable to do anything. The element would strike the wall and dissipate without hindering the wind cocoon surrounding the youths. Muffled explosions, raging heat and screaming, shrieking whipping sounds could be heard from each wind cocoon but from the outside it seemed like a hallucination if one couldn''t see the inside one would never believe that an element was striking against this wind cocoon. The aged man glanced at one particular wind cocoon moved his hand in a gesture, like he was calling it to him while he was smiling affectionately. He knew this would be the last time! He could see this youth, hurling lighting from each palm into the wind he was the only one left next to the aged man yet he seemed reluctant to send him away, but he was reminded that time was short. With the ever growing chaotic aura, that had soon began to contest and attack his, he knew he had run out of time. Before taking one long deep glance at the youths eyes he moved his hand towards his chest, his fingers landed just above his heart and a simple gesture he tore into his chest, and picked out a seed, the seed was reluctant to leave him it seemed. His skin was attaching itself to the seed for as long as it could, the seed had a will of its own trying to move back in but it was not strong enough to beat its master. The seed was extremely small, size of a nail yet it gave the feeling it wouldn''t be crushed under a mountain, it gave the feeling of boundless power and total control! But as soon as the seed had come out of the aged mans chest, the world began to shake, land began to split. The star, the mountain was began to crumble in on itself, from the outside it looked like gleaming white lights had began appearing on the planet. On the main land however pillars of light and fire began to grow at an alarming rate, they grew bigger and bigger, hotter and hotter, brighter and brighter! Mountains began erupting all over the world but wouldn''t begin to form they seemed to cease to end like the life force of the planet stopped! It gave up! The thunder would scream and screech! Thunder no longer moved in a single direction striking the ground, no! The thunder would rotate, spin and move in different directions sometimes shooting back into the atmosphere, the lightning became three times as big as soon as the lightning struck the ground, it was so hot the thunder had actually crystallized! Any animal that came into contact with the lightning would instantly turn to ash, the clouds began to rain and shockingly from above the clouds water boulders began to form and descend towards the planet. The rocks floating, orbiting around the star also began to invade the atmosphere due to the collapsing gravity and would soon crash into the planet destroying it completely. The aged man looked at the lightning wielding youth, he extended his hand into the wind cocoon where it would part to allow the man''s hand to pass through, like it was unworthy to touch his hand. The mans gentle yet imposing voice resounded out, calming the youth he quietly whispered "Lei, stop don''t waste your energy the divine lightning may consume you. Take my seed and ensure the chosen child ingests it before his coming of age. I have foreseen the future, the one to ingest my seed shouldn''t be alive during my time but nonetheless, if the prophecy can change so to can the chosen one. You must protect this person with all your power, and guide him towards the right path, for I will not be here to help him nor guide him this task, my son must fall on your shoulders and yours alone. Do you understand?" The youth had wanted to interrupt the aged man, but he found it extremely hard, his face had already began to flood with tears and he instinctively reached his hand out to accept the seed. He held it extremely carefully and would ensure that no harm would come to it. He held it to his bosom and began sobbing. Even if he wielded divine lightning, he was still a child at this moment, no person could stay calm. However, before he could say anything he was already miles away, all he could do was feel the planet destroying itself, as if it was trying to reset the world. He weakly said "Don''t worry father.. I won''t let you down, I promise!" The aged man just looked back, with a great big smile on his face, he could hear every single word and wished to linger in this moment a little longer. Looking at his son flying away he had so many regrets in his heart, but he couldn''t voice any of them. This was not the time! The aged man looked back at the incoming dark auras, and he just took a step, each step would be to his doom but these steps didn''t contain a weak will or regret instead, they contained hope and resolve! His gaze wasn''t like he was looking at evil or disgusting creatures, no! His gaze was pity he held the power but wasn''t able to avert these seven demons in front of him from becoming a great calamity. When the two auras clashed a great white blinding light emitted, anybody who looked at this light whether it be from this planet or another would instantly become blind, the light emitted was a dazzling milky white light that shined across all the galaxy that day. That day would become known as the white fall throughout the galaxy. Chapter 1: A boy and a slave Floating planet Y¨«n l¨®ng This tiny floating planet was located on the outer skirts of the galaxy. It isn''t a big planet, well it wouldn''t be able to compare to any of the inner planets but it was big enough to house millions of families, beasts and wildlife. The planet is and has always been naturally rich with minerals and raw materials, with green and violet forests as well as vegetation towering above the built cities, that had a canopy that allowed people to move about and live upon if they wished. With brown and blue land that had long ago detached itself from the mainland and floating above the ground in a similar fashion to steps, continuing to rise and float into the boundless milky orange sky. These floating islands looked majestic, from afar they looked like another country where people created homes and shops. It was extremely amazing because these lands would move about the whole planet. People who lived on top of them would be similar to nomads! However, some floating rocks had giant study brown, grey inky and orange roots visibly stretching from the mainland through the floating rocks to create stunningly beautiful scenery that would inspire painters and song writers from all over the planet. Waterfalls crashing into the mainland, also flowing slowly up to the sky. The scenery was filled with all different colors red, violet, green and blue it was a truly stunning floating planet. Within this floating planet was a large mansion, bigger than all the other mansions on the planet. This mansion was located at the tip of one huge hill. The mansion walls had dragons, snakes and tigers chiseled into the walls, trying to tell the viewer a story. It would tell each person a different story depending on their mood and perspective on life. The images looked like an embroidery on a piece of clothing, if one looked at this house, they would get the feeling of wealth and history. This was naturally, the controlling family''s mansion of the planet the Xuanze family. within the rear end of the courtyard, which was the kitchen area of the mansion a seemingly young youth could be seen walking out in a very calm manner. He seemed calm but he really wasn''t! Dressed in a milky silk robe which was buttoned perfectly to give of an esteemed air, and his combed sparkling hair he looked extremely smart and tidy. This youth had pitch black hair, and pitch black eyes he was walking out into the fields in a very calm and slow fashion. Right now he was frequently looking to his right and left, before he couldn''t stay calm no longer with both his small hands he grabbed the top half of his robe and with a ''pipipipipi'' he pulled the buttons apart, next he immediately threw his right hand into his hair and began to mess it up. Now he looked like anything but an esteemed wealthy boy, looked more like a gangster a rebel youth who wouldn''t listen to his seniors! As soon as he finished messing his hair he began picking up speed, sprinting to the nearby lake. There just past the starting of the lake, could be seen three more children. These children each waiting in anticipation for something, their eyes were glued to the horizons and two of the kids had snot in their noses leaking down. A few breaths of time had passed before a youth with black hair came sprinting towards the lake, they had seen him approach and began shouting in an unrestrained manner "Wenrou, boss what took you long. we have been here all morning, did the master make you clean the shitty toilets again!?" Wenrous face twitched the moment he heard shitty toilets. He was the leader of this group and had to sometimes mercilessly beat them up to make them remember, he just snickered at this. He couldn''t contest it but then he quickly rebutted it, he replied in a commanding fashion "I had to clean the toilets because your mom cooks shit food, which makes all the people in the house shit more!" The youth who shouted in an unrestrained manner, quickly began to look like he was pondering, thinking about the times he had to have shits after his moms meal, he looked like he understood what his boss had said. He quickly nodded in a simple fashion, accepting his bosses reply. This youth had short brown hair and was dressed in red shirt that came down to his waist, and beige silk pants, and simple black footwear. His name was Xuanze de pu ren. The youth standing on the far right looked contemplative to, with a face that was crumbled, he began remembering the times he had shit his bed and quickly began to blame his friends mom. This youth had ginger hair and freckles on his face, he had blue eyes, and even though he was just 8 years old he already had signs of a mustache growing! This would make him feel extremely proud, like he was further developed when he compared himself to the other kids. He too was dressed in red shirt, and beige pants with simple black shoes. His name was Xuanze xia ren 2. The most fragile looking youth was in the middle of these two, he seemed to have an aura of nobility around him. His clothes was far different to everybody''s made from much smoother silk and brighter red color that complemented his young skin. He looked extremely handsome in his tiny robe, looking exactly like a small leader. Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. This youth was called Jie Xialai de Xuanze. Jie resembled Wenrou a lot. Actually Wenrou was his fathers mistresses son, whilst he was the main heads legitimate child. He was around about 2 years younger than Wenrou and seemed extremely happy the moment he seen Wenrous body come over the hill, and rushing down from the hill towards them. Even though Wenrou had the same blood coursing through their veins, they was vastly different! Wenrou was given nice clothes because he was the mistresses son, but at the end of the day he was still a slave! Nothing could change this fact, not all the good clothes in the world or even his facial features that looked like the main head of the family. The youths all gathered up outside of the still lake, the only thing that could be heard was the waterfall, the birds chirping, and the occasional wind howling. Wenrous voice came out extremely fast and overbearing as he neared the youths "Get in line you dogs! I am so close yet you don''t conduct yourselves like my subordinates!" he seemed discontent, no matter how much he tried to teach these kids to conduct themselves when they met at their military headquarters it seemed they would completely forget every time! The three younger youths all quickly moved and stood in an orderly fashion side by side, whilst Wenrou stood ahead of them with his hand on his chin walking from left to right. He was currently assessing these youths. Wenrou could see they all had no dirt on their faces, they looked to be clean and gleaming from being extremely clean, to perfect to be in an army! Thought Wenrou, he quickly knelt down and twisted his head to his left while both his hands had been positioned on his knees to support him, he turned and looked at each one. Before long all the three youths could hear was ''pu'' , ''pu'' , ''pu''. Three mid sized spit balls flew through the air and landed on to their faces, the youths standing, didn''t dare argue with their commander even if they felt extremely discontent. However, the youth in the middle looked like anything but discontent? His eyes gleamed with curiosity and before long voiced his thoughts "brother Wenrou, why thou bless us with holy spit water?" he looked curious as he began to rub the spit along his face, thinking it was a blessing from the heavens. He looked extremely happy. Wenrou just slightly gave them a fierce gaze, they had seen this look many times, each time they received this gaze they would have the shit kicked out of them for being insubordinate. Wenrou just slightly raised his head without changing his body posture, like he was to high to look directly down at these youths, he said in a simple yet smart fashion like he understood everything about this world, "you all have faces that are too clean, being to clean is naturally not good. You must add a bit of dirt to be perfect!" whilst he was speaking his left hand instinctively raised and was pointing into the air towards nothing, he sounded like what he was saying, was definitely true and must not be questioned. The other youths nodded in agreement, soon they to began spitting in each others faces without holding back, some spits would include a bit of snot and phlegm. Suddenly Jie spat in Wenrous face. Wenrou already in a kneeling position fell back because he tried to dodge the incoming spit, clearly he overestimated his reflex capabilities and was lying for a moment before he regained his composure he looked at the young boy and looked angry for a second but, soon his face turned red and he couldn''t hold back his laughter, and began laughing heartily. The youths spent the day climbing and fighting and pretending to be an invading army while they would catch bunny beasts, tamed foxes as well as harmless rats beasts and water spirits that lingered around the quiet lake. They looked extremely carefree and from a distance it seemed to these youths that everything good about the world was right in this lake at this very moment. It wasn''t night yet, but the youths all gradually returned back to the mansion, they all moved to their stations. Wenrou had climbed and leaped onto the mansions sloping roof. He looked at the 3 moons in the sky, while lying on his back. He stretched his left arm and hand into a gesture that seemed like he was trying to grab the moons, whilst he right hand was placed behind his head to provide some minor comfort. His gaze turned serious, he said to himself in an extremely serious manner "My name is Wenrou de Fengtou, I refuse to take the Xuanze name. One day, I will break this slave bond and be my own man! That day I will be a supreme warrior and travel the skies and reach the moons that are always looking down on me. Then I will show them, chaining people to slave names doesn''t make you any better! We are all equal!" Chapter 2: Future limited? Floating Planet Yin Long Yin Long planets biggest city was built within a scary deep crater. The crater is located near the center of the planet and is astronomically massive in size compared to anything else on the planet. With the crater being so deep, the city was built within with carefully constructed platforms and pathways and buildings to develop a flourishing city. From the bottom of the platform to the very tip of the crater has houses, shops and buildings, that are constructed on safe stone and study platforms that hinge of the sides of the crater walls providing them with enough support to ensure the buildings won''t end up buckling and collapsing of their own weight. The buildings and pathways were mainly constructed with grey and silver bricks and stone, with the roofs being in mainly red tiling. Every single building was the same color and looked like a milky red sea when one stopped at the top of the crater and looked directly down at the huge city. Past the city, climbing up the pathways leading to the exit at the tip of the crater, the land would start forming into mountains, hills. Atop one of the hills was the Xuanze family house. Within the main hall of the Xuanze estate was a middle aged man, he was wearing loosely fit white robes, had his hair unkempt floating and brushing past his face. This man was seated on a grand throne chair. The throne chair was made out of marble and had swirling patterns and an open dragon mouth chiseled on to the legs and the arm rests, whilst the cushions was made out of a velvet material. It was positioned on a small platform, with a few steps leading to it. This throne was at the other end of the hall, upon entering the hall one would notice the narrow velvet carpet, with gold patterns running through the carpet in a swirling design. This velvet carpet was leading from the entry door to the throne. The hall had many paintings hung up on either side and each painting was a painting of a mountain, or lake or a great dead beast with a man or man and wife standing closely in the picture. These were the previous family heads painted. There was many paintings. With one look anybody would know that this family, had a long lineage! On the throne chair was the current house head, who had black unkempt hair, black pupils and a light stubble. Across the man in a respective position with one hand behind him, and another in front just across his stomach stood an old man. The old man had grey hair, he didn''t have much but had a few left. He had a grey mustache and a shiny head wearing a red robe and black shoes, he smiled at the man on the throne and politely requested what the head wanted from him "My lord, you asked for me?" The man on the throne looked extremely lazy, with one foot on the throne bent and another stretched out, with his right hand holding his head up and left resting on his bent knee, he asked lazily, but also paying attention to his servant "Greyhound, how old is Wenrou this year? Has his seed been developed yet?" Greyhound heaved a sigh, how many times had he been asked this question? He looked up in a very slow and sad manner, he replied without to much delay with a courteous tone "No my lord, Wenrou.. it seems he won''t have a future in protecting the world and won''t move to a higher position in his life. His elemental seed has not been developed since birth, even if it isn''t rare for some peoples to develop later, by the time they are at least three years old, they would have an elemental seed or at least signs of an elemental seed growing. However, Wenrou my lord is already 8 years old and hasn''t had any signs. It is better to give up this notion." Greyhound tilted his head back down, he knew how much his lordship wanted Wenrou to have the ability to move into a higher station in life. Even if he couldn''t become the main head in the future, he was still his kid and wouldn''t wish for him to stay a bitter slave his whole life on this tiny planet. Greyhound, quickly continued his speech, which caught the attention of the lord, he knew exactly what to say to his dispirited lord "My lord, even if Wenrou doesn''t develop a seed and naturally he will never, because it is unheard of. The young lord is extremely talented. He already had developed his seed in his mothers womb! In these lands, no! This whole galaxy, that is extremely talented. The quicker one develops their seed the more power it will accumulate. The young lord is extremely talented he has two seeds! The ability to control two elements is extremely rare!" The lord suddenly had a flicker in his eyes, he still sighed because he wished for Wenrou to truly become a fighter, but if nothing could be done he would still care and provide for him on the Yin Long planet. If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. The lord rose to his feet, lifting himself of the throne with his arms and hands and the mini platform the throne was situated on. He steadily moved to the balcony of the main hall and looked out to the far galaxy, he murmured to himself "I, Toulan Xuanze have fostered such a child, one day he will rise to prominence, naturally this planet will become to small for him." at that very moment, Toulan looked extremely contemplative.. he sighed deeply while looking down at the vast fields and shaking his head slowly, almost feeling regret he never had the chance, nor courage to leave this planet. He was not talented like his son, so naturally he couldn''t venture to other planets and become a hero. This was a regret for most males and females who didn''t have the power and ability to venture from planet to planet. Toulan immediately turned his gaze towards the main hall, he slowly walked in with both his hands in his robe pockets, with his head tilted towards the floor looking at the specs of black in the marble floor. He looked like he was pondering, he asked greyhound in a sharp and excited tone "Greyhound! What school should we send Jie to? This planet has a few schools, but we must choose the best. We always go to school gatherings to watch schools students demonstrate their prowess and techniques but we never pay attention to who the best is, after all our family is mainly a merchant family we never pay attention to such matters in detail.." He looked back up at Greyhound with wide eyes. Greyhound looked up at this moment, he to pondered momentarily but immediately replied, he also looked excited "My lord! There is three schools, that are worth mentioning in this whole planet. The Zh¨¦ ch¨¬ de q¨«zh¨°ngj¨© school, Hu¨¯h¨®ng de qu¨¢nt¨®u school and finally the Ti¨¡nd¨¬ school. The Tiandi school is the most mysterious school, it only takes on one disciple every year and only has one master within that whole school. The other two are extremely secluded as well, but they take on many more disciples. I greyhound personally think the Zhe Chi school is the best for the young lord to be admitted to!" With each word, it seemed like greyhound was extremely excited, his voice kept rising and rising until people in the fields could hear him slightly. Toulan looked out to the balcony and replied to greyhound "Alright, Jie is already six years old, in a few months he will be seven years old. It is required age for the body to begin training and understanding his elemental power within his body. Make preparations for Jie to undertake the test, to gain entry in the upcoming school acceptance day." Toulans gaze didn''t shift from the balcony overlooking the crater city and the fields below his mansion.. nobody knew what he was thinking at this moment, except he looked extremely proud. Right at this moment, Wenrou could be seen moving speedily through the fields. Toulan had noticed him and looked a little bit sad, he thought to himself "It will crush him, if he knows I won''t be sending him with his brother to a school to train. He has never understood why a seed is important, and naturally being a child he overlooks a few things. However, it is best if I pull the grass by its roots and destroy his way of thinking. If this continues he will just ridicule himself in front of the city.. how many kids are born without a seed being developed? I have never heard of such a thing, but without a seed, his body won''t develop as fast. nor strong as somebody developing and training alongside their elemental seed" Touland moved his left hand to scratch his stubble, continued to think to himself "I will make him hate me, but that is better than him being laughed at by the city in the upcoming acceptance day. When that happens, it would crush a normal mans will, maybe they will change completely for the worse. This way he will keep his pride and live out a comfortable life in the mansion." He couldn''t help but feel a little sad every time he remembered Wenrous predicament, he knew how much he wished to leave this planet and travel the galaxy adventuring, fighting monsters and beasts, but what can he do? Fate wasn''t always kind, and he was chained to such a horrible fate not even being normal not even having any kind of seed growing in his body? What kind of fate was that? Wenrou at this sudden moment felt a cold chill rush along his neck and backside, he instinctively looked back at the mansion where he could see his father gazing at him. He just looked back, unknowing why, but he felt like something was off.. after a few short breaths, he quickly tossed it to the back of his mind and continued to do whatever he was doing before. Chapter 3: Begging fate! Breaking fate! Part 1 floating planet Yin Long within the main hall of the Xuanze mansion throne room Seated in a serious manner was the current head of the Xuanze family, Toulan Xuanze. His eyes narrow, his demeanor cold he was faintly emitting a cold qi that had begun seeping into the atmosphere of the main hall. He looked extremely ruthless, coupled with his pitch black hair and black olive eyes, right now he looked like anything but a merchant. Across the throne was two young boys, one was Wenrou and the other was Jie. Wenrou to the right and Jie to his left, Wenrou held his head low, looking at the marble floor. Unbeknownst to Wenrou he had developed a father complex since he was young. This came about the time shortly after he found out he had no seed. Wenrou was unable to look his father in the eye for more than a few breaths at a time, this was brought about by his inferiority complex which resulted in a father complex. He especially knew how proud his father was of Jie, a talented boy since birth. How could he compare in the future? Even though Wenrou never took peoples heed about how weak he will be without a seed, however that was just a front, Wenrou wasn''t soft.. he knew of these things. He just never came to terms with them! He didn''t want to! To the left of Wenrou was Jie, he as always looked extremely excited and happy, with his head constantly bopping up and down. He knew whenever his father had called him and Wenrou together to the main hall usually ended up in receiving gifts, or money to go spend in the city with their friends. Jie was still a child, he was unable to read the atmosphere in the room, how could he perceive such cold detached atmosphere that had long lingered in this room since entering? Behind the boys was greyhound, he too had his head tilted down with his eyes closed soaking in the atmosphere and coming to terms with what must be done. Greyhound is an old man breaking a child''s heart, blowing up their bubble, would make any man regardless of age feel disgusted in themselves. It was a very distinct type of pain in his heart, a pain that wouldn''t leave for a long time. Greyhound, whose tutored these kids, looked after them since birth, protected them he would have to bury his heart in ice today, he would have to do what must be done. As he thought about this he would clench his jaw tighter and tighter! Toulans gaze lingered around Wenrou for a brief moment, he had noticed long ago that Wenrou had never looked him into his eyes he would always avert gazes as soon as possible. Sometimes when Toulan would engage in conversation with Wenrou randomly to get him to talk to him, Wenrou would subconsciously move to a different part of the room, or to a different room and finish speaking before disappearing. Noticing all this, Toulan had come to assumption that Wenrou had hated him for as long as he could remember, but he later realized with the deductive prowess of Greyhound that Wenrou slightly felt inferiority, he felt unworthy of having Toulan as a father, or being related in anyway. Toulan was the first to break the silence by speaking. First Toulan turned his gaze towards Jie and occasionally on greyhound, he begun stating facts in a continuous manner without leaving room for anybody to object or speak "Jie, you are almost seven years old. The school acceptance day is drawing close, do you wish to become a supreme warrior a warrior able to wield the wild elements and Qi, arm yourself with a sharp blade and companions and protect the conclave of planets from the ever growing calamity?" The sudden emergence of the words "acceptance day" made Wenrou clench his right fist extremely tight, his slight nails had broke the skin of the palm, digging in a little. Greyhound to the rear turned his head towards Wenrou, he could smell the faint blood running along Wenrous finger he knew today''s outcome was going to leave a heavy atmosphere in the mansion, it would leave the head with an extremely heavy heart after today. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Jie looked shocked and amazed for a moment. Jie was never really told about his talent, so he had no idea he looked incomparably happy his body almost jumped at the words his father produced. his eyes began to glitter brighter and brighter, his mouth unexpectedly grew to half the size of his face right now you could see all his teeth, tongue and tonsils clearly! Toulan seeing this expressions smiled slightly, he thought to himself that this child is pure, his mother would be extremely proud and happy if she could see Jie right now. Toulan reverted his gaze back to being ruthless, he looked at the bopping head of Jie and added quickly "Jie you know your mother died giving birth to you, she had been injured before the due date of your birth had been reached, which in return resulted in an early birth." Jie upon hearing these sudden words, his face slightly dimmed some of the earlier bright face had become a little sullen he too slowly dropped his head like it was drifting in wind and looked at the floor. Jie could only see a dark silhouette in the marble floor, and he didn''t understand what he was thinking at that moment, too much was rushing through his brain, he had a hint of watery eyes. He slowly lifted his head. He stared directly at his father ready to listen to more. He resolved himself to listen to it all. Toulan laid back onto the throne, whilst reminiscing about the past he continued in a slightly quieter tone "your mother and I knew at that time that there was not much to be done, it would either be her or your life that would disappear on that evening. But you know Jie? Your mother is an extremely strong women. Before the Doctor had presented her with the choice she had already cried your name, and begged for you to be saved at any cost.. She was the best thing that happened to me, we were both lucky to have her in our lives." Wenrou off to the side could see his brother sad, he was on the verge of crying his eyes were watery bubbles. Wenrou wanted to console him, but when he opened his mouth he didn''t know what words to say in such a situation.. he just closed his mouth and continued listening. Toulan leaned forward at this moment, with both his elbows on his thigh and both his rugged hands in the form of a fist holding his head up from below his chin, it seemed he couldn''t keep his serious manner for too long, this was his limit! Greyhound seeing this sighed inwardly, these two sons took after their father they just played all day, never taking an interest in the family business and responsibilities. Toulans voice started of a little weak, but quickly regained his earlier strength with a slight cough "Jie you have good talent, actually you are extremely talented but this talent came at the cost of your mothers life. If you decide to become a warrior, you must unceasingly train, because your do not carry just your will, you carry your mothers as well!" Right at this moment both greyhound, and Toulan wanted to see the resolution of this young boy. Determination and resolve would go a long way in aiding him with his cultivation and abilities. Jie looked up, unable to comprehend most of his fathers words, his forehead had creased slightly and his eyes slanted, he clearly was trying to understand his fathers words. It didn''t take long before this pure child came to a conclusion "Father, I will do my best for my mother and me" whilst throwing his right fist towards his left shoulder, and looking into the ceiling of the main hall. Clearly this action was brought about by the heat of the moment, he had lost himself in thought as he was imaging himself as a hero saving the lands, he was looking at something only he could see, what that was nobody would know! Author to the readers Hi guys. This is a thread to get in touch with the readers who enjoy, or don''t enjoy this story. I would first like to state a few things I wasn''t able to find anywhere else to. First thing, there will be approx 1 chapter a week, maybe more depending on when the enlightenment strikes me. Secondly, I will have two protagonists (sort of) the story will resolve around Wenrou mainly, he won''t be OP and won''t gain much till further in. Thirdly, this will be slow paced story, I really want to get the emotions across and atmosphere along with detailing the fights and scenery as good as I can. Lastly, if you guys have any comments, reviews or a way to get in touch with me to talk about the direction of the book and would like to help this would be appreciated as well. You can post here or pretty much get in touch over line app my id is yesulyong93 If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. I am a very open reader, so please just say what you like. Whatever you guys write in here or review I will read. One last thing I know I can do better. If you can tell me where would be great this is why I need you guys, I am not as talented or experienced as other writers on here. Really a great noob, but I want to get through this story and present it to you guys in a presentable way! thanks, here2write Chapter 4: Begging Fate! Breaking Fate! Part 2 Toulan shouted at the top of his lungs, whilst standing up abruptly with a wondrous gaze "Good, Good little warrior! Now follow Greyhound he will begin your premature training to prepare you ahead of all the other little friends that will participate alongside you!" Toulan gave Greyhound a slight nod. Greyhound understanding the situation, moved to the right side of Jie, placing his right hand across Jie backside. Jie was such a cute and small child that Greyhounds hand covered all of his back. He then started to slightly push, urging him to start moving. Jie feeling the hand understood what it meant, he turned around and began moving to the exit of the main hall. however, he noticed that Wenrou stayed behind and kept his head down. He looked a little confused now, but Jie was just a child he didn''t notice earlier that his dad didn''t mention Wenrou once. He''s just a kid, how could he pickup on such things? Jie moving slightly slowed down, the further he went the sadder his brother looked from behind. His heart started to ache slightly, he stopped! However, Greyhounds hands kept pushing gently urging him to continue to the exit, but he turned around lighting fast with a scrumpled face like he was dissatisfied with Greyhounds actions and shouted, his shout was so loud that it turned into a scream at the end "stOP!" Greyhound hearing this was slightly startled, but he closed his eyes and continued to push with a bit more force. Jie feeling this was now beginning to understand the situation, he felt his heart pound, he could hear the noise ''bump'' .. ''bump'' .. ''bump'' the main hall was deathly silent. You could hear a pin drop on the ground within this huge hall. Wenrou just wanted to be dismissed, he hated being the center of attention he knew the gazes of Jie and Greyhound was lingering on his backside he knew his brother was going to get the best treatment, and he didn''t wish to stand in his way. But he looked up at that moment and asked his father solemnly "Can I be dismissed lord?" Toulan looked at him without a hint a love "No. You will not. You will stay by my side and in this house and you will take on more duties around the mansion and learn the family business" Wenrous heart began racing at this instant, his throat went extremely dry extremely fast! He had to gather saliva and gulp a few times before he could even start thinking clearly, his forehead had small drops of sweat accumulating, his face pale. He slightly raised his head and continued to speak "I don''t want to learn the family business, I don''t want anything to do with this mansion I wish to do greater things with my life" Wenrous voice started of really weak, it was hoarse at the start and just barely slightly regained his usual voice at the end. He was confronting his father for the first time! Would he be able to? What was this feeling in his heart, in his body? Toulan already standing up moved his hands behind his back and held one hand in a fist whilst the other was wrapped around it. He took a few steps towards Wenrou, releasing his aura as he was walking down the platform the throne was placed upon, whilst speaking extremely sharp and strict "No. You have no talent to become a warrior. You will be useless, you will just hold back Jie. You are lucky to be in this mansion, if it was any other mansion you would have already been treated lower than a dog." Wenrou started sweating profusely, he raised his head but didn''t look his father in the eye he was looking at his fathers chin. He knew if he didn''t say anything now he would regret it for the rest of his life! His face was already turning red his heart pounding, his fist clenched even tighter, he bit his tongue and said without any regard to servant or lord title whilst swinging both his hands out in a confused manner "Lord I never wished to be treated any differently, I never asked for anything yet everything was given to me. Tell me one time did I ever ask for anything? Did I wish to be treated differently or be given anything?! Tell me Lord!" His voice starting off aggressive and maintaining his firm stand it was like he was fighting with his enemy, like he never liked this person standing in front of him. However, this was fiercer there was a deep wound in there somewhere that caused this speech to become sharper than it should have been. Wenrou knew the situation had already gone past no return, like an arrow shot out of the bow. He could do nothing but just continue biting his tongue and think of a way to leave this mansion. Toulan looked unhappy right now. His son dare defy his order? He should just grow up and understand he has no future as a warrior, just take this moment to come to terms but Wenrou was still defying him? What a stupid kid he thought to himself. Toulan expanded his cold aura, enveloping Wenrou and resolved himself to kick this kid down to the same level as a dog "Wenrou, you think just because you are carrying the same blood as me, you can speak to me in such a manner? You are lower than a dog, you are worthless person, you can''t even do half the tasks kids your age. You run around all day thinking you are equal to everyone else. But you know something? You are not, and I could make many more Wenrous with your whore mother that would be much more valuable than you. You have nothing to contribute to this family, yet you still think you do? Grow up you bastard" Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings. These words came out extremely overbearing and fierce, each word was like a crushing mountain, but when Toulan said your "whore mother" this was like he had picked up a sword and chopped of his limbs one by one, then plunged the sword into his heart. He had a hint of watery eyes, and a fierce gaze he was unmoving even when his father was so close, this time he was looking his father in the eyes. He couldn''t say anything at that moment except think to himself "this man is a lowlife, just because he is rich and had fathered me he thinks he can act as a father and decide my future?" Even though Wenrou thought like this, naturally he was wrong. Toulan seeing Wenrous fierce gaze was slightly startled, his heart beat became erratic for an instant he thought to himself "This fierce, unyielding gaze? Where did it come from?" It took a moment to control his body, and calm his heart. He returned Wenrous gaze, looking directly at him. Wenrou didn''t understand, that Toulan was also killing himself with each word, this was his son he never thought like this at all but he needed his son to wake up! What was wrong with becoming a merchant and working with him? It wouldn''t be so bad, yes it would be simple and less adventurous than a warrior but it would still be a providing job, a job that would produce a good man. But Wenrou was blinded by his ambition to become a warrior. Wenrou, seeing his father so close, the overbearing aura flowing out and crushing him he clenched his teeth and fists harder, he began shouting at his father, whilst swinging his right arm in front of him, whilst pointing like it was some sort of protective barrier. "I don''t wish to be your son and I don''t wish to live my life out here under this roof. Even if I never become a warrior, I don''t want to be in the same place as you!" Toulan hearing these words turned his head to the right, his right eye had a tiny tear flowing out of it. These words were striking him beneath the skin, they hurt him really deep! Toulan standing firm with his head turned away thought to himself "Does he hate me this much? What have I done to make him hate me like this?" Wenrou standing in a fixed position, unable to change however much he tried. It was like he turned to stone right then and there! He wasn''t able to move his right hand, that was pointing at his father and his two feet standing firm like it was planted into the solid ground. He took a deep breath, with each following breath he regained control of his body bit by bit. He looked back only to see Greyhound slightly crying and Jie bawling, with water floods rushing down his face, snot hanging out his nose and he was on the floor with his small body crouched into a ball For that few moments it seemed nothing in the room was audible except Toulan and Wenrous argument, only when Wenrou turned around did the room return back to the world, the background noises came flooding back in like a tidal wave. The birds chirping, the wind howling and so did Jies crying. Wenrou felt like little pins began stabbing at his eyes for seeing this scene. Toulan raised his head, it seemed he just now noticed Jie crying as well, he shouted angrily "GREYHOUND WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE? YOU OLD FOOL TAKE HIM AWAY NOW!" Greyhound picked Jie up by the waist, there was no other way to pick him up he was crouched into a ball. He took Jie and moved to the exit, in a few short breaths he swiftly left the room, leaving the heavy atmosphere behind. When Greyhound turned around to look back it seemed like the room had another dense atmosphere so thick and heavy it could be seen with the naked eye. Wenrou took to action as well, seeing his brother moving away so fast he didn''t know what he was thinking except, he had to go maybe having Jie and Greyhound in the same room provided him with strength to stand up to his father, except now he felt his body turning cold this was a point of no return, he too slightly began to cry he began rushing to the exit. Toulan seeing this looked up, feeling his son moving away, left him with a cold pain in his heart, he just wanted to say a few things more "Wenrou.. I.." Wenrou had already left the room. Not wanting to listen to his fathers words anymore. He directly left the mansion and began heading to the south. Toulan stood there, unable to move. He was thinking of what happened mere moments ago, again and again and how he could have handled it to bear a different outcome. He kept thinking it was his own fault, and kept thinking what he could have done for a different outcome. His left land kept scratching his head above his left eye in a circular motion while his palm would scrape past his left eye, didn''t seem like he was going to stop any time soon and his right hand was just resting on his chest feeling his unending heartbeats, within this quiet hall his heartbeats were like drums being played. He just stood there silently.. Chapter 5: Begging Fate! Breaking Fate! Part 3 Arc End Wenrou had been on full gallop since he rushed out of the mansion, running crazily, like a black mucus was chasing him, and if he stopped for one second it would instantly absorb him! There was only one thought racing through his mind, at the moment and that was I need to get away, but he wasn''t thinking get away to where? He was just running, it seemed his body knew where he wanted to go even if he didn''t, and so he just kept going. Wenrou never felt the tree vines whipping his arms, or the tree roots and plants cracking and snapping beneath his full gallop. He just kept going, looking in one direction forward without caring about his body. He didn''t realize but he had been running for a full day and night, and he had come to the end of his will and energy to run. The moment he gathered his thoughts and slowed down a bit, a pulsating pain kicked into his legs, it was the moment he slowed down, that was his stop! He crashed into the ground knees first, followed by his upper body which he had managed to protect even with the unbearable pain in his legs, his muscles felt like they were ripping and tearing with each action. The pain wasn''t just in his legs no! There was pain all over his body, except the pain in his legs was eclipsing all the other pinching, biting, and shredding pains but the moment he moved any part of his body he would feel that pain streak across, which would result in him howling "aarrrggggghhhhhhh!"*cough, cough*. These coughs where like directly from the back of his throat they hurt so much, like the skin inside his throat was peeling of slowly, for that brief moment after every cough he wouldn''t be able to handle the pain. Wenrou started crying and sobbing like he had never before in his whole life! Like a newborn baby! No animal would approach the spot Wenrou was laying in, these howls had terrified the animals to escape to a distance of at least five miles radius. Not knowing where he had run, and what he would do, Wenrou just laid there in the pain, on his back. What other choice did he have? He could only think that this was his destiny, maybe he deserved this pain for speaking to his father in such a manner? Maybe this is the pain he deserved for leaving Jie behind? Maybe this was the pain he deserved for being born into this life as trash? He couldn''t come to a conclusion all he knew was how he could never go back, and could only look to what was in front of him. Snot flowing down his nose, and into his mouth, water floods from his eyes. Sweat soaked clothes and muddy stains on his robes and face, he couldn''t even see properly nor breath properly! He just wished the pain would stop from the bottom of his heart, this was his only wish. He closed his eyes, even though it caused him so much pain, he knew he wouldn''t be able to open them again for the time being because it would hurt more than closing them! Just like that he slowly fell asleep... ----------------- Greyhound running out of the mansion was going to head for a summit near the mansion. It was a secluded summit near the edges of the Crater city, it was surrounded by trees and vegetation and wild life. Mainly birds would sit on the trees and sing without any signs of stopping from sunrise to sunset, it was a sort of safe haven for birds, most of the people in the city wouldn''t bother the birds that lived here and that was because in the morning the birds would sing waking up the city to a cheerful melody that was carried by the wind across the whole city. Greyhound moving through the forest and heading up to the summit, pushing his way through the massive branches and leaves with his right hand, could feel a slight pain on his left palm, he rotated his head and turned to look at what was causing the pain only to see Jie who had dried tears on his cheeks and disheveled hair biting his palm. Jie had no energy at all it seemed, and this bite was the last bit of strength he could muster up, before his body had shut down and he had fallen asleep. This sort of stress wasn''t good for a kid, to hard and heavy on his mental state. Greyhound seeing Jie in such a state could only have the ice around his heart melt, it seemed to an old man this was a pain he didn''t wish to see. He made his way to the summit only to move into a meditative state, with Jie on his lap crouched into a ball sleeping, but his jaw didn''t unclench Greyhounds hand! His final action, before his sleep seemed to contain all his resolve and will that even in sleep he wasn''t going to let go. Greyhound, looking at the state of Jie, just closed his eyes and circulated his Qi, quickly expanding it from his meridians, to envelop Jie and nourish his body to ensure he wouldn''t feel cold. He was soaked in sweat and tears, and if not protected as such would have a cold when he wakes up. Greyhound after finishing his Qi circulation, closed his eyes slowly and entered a meditative trance it was a sort sleep where he was aware of his surroundings, if anybody entered his Qi radius he would immediately feel their presence and take a defensive stance. The birds in the trees were all smart animals, even some where birds that had managed to awaken their Qi and had some sort of degree of intellect. These birds could clearly see the sad state the child and old man was in, they had felt such pain and sorrow in the child biting the mans hand that their singing was effected by it. The tune they was playing was one of pain and sorrow, the whole city felt slightly depressed for that whole night. It seemed with that song, coupled with the starry night sky that was pitch black with shining dots with streaks of orange flowing through that for that particular night, the world seemed less brighter, less vibrant and real like something was effecting their souls, like some sort of invisible sheet or layer was between them and the real world causing them to feel nervous in their hearts but nobody was able to figure out why. ---------------- It was morning, almost the afternoon and Wenrou just barely managed to open his eyes halfway. His eye lids felt so heavy like bricks and blocks were attached to the ends. He was struggling to fully open them, as soon as he got to halfway they would just fall back down and close, like an automatic response of his body telling him he wasn''t ready to move yet. So he just laid there again helplessly, feeling the wind brush up onto his nose and arms making him feel itchy, but he wasn''t able to itch it away! It took another half a day to finally release himself from this restrictive bind over his body, he managed to break his unmovable state with his right hand, it took a few breaths to gain miniscule control of his right hand. He moved his right hand towards his face, but he wasn''t able to control his arm fully *WHAP" his hand landed on his face like a slap, the slap brought a sudden emergence, a moment where he woke and managed to coordinate his fingers to lift his eyelids open. The sudden action of opening his eyes made the sun seem even more brighter, and glaring his whole body stiff he used his body to slowly crawl bit-by-bit. Slowly starting from his shoulders then his arms and elbows and finally his legs to move to a tree and use the tree as a support to help him get back to his feet. This all takes a moment to describe but took a long time to accomplish for Wenrou. This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. Looking around he didn''t quite know where he was, it took a moment to collect his thoughts and understand he had reached the Xiajing waterfall. There was a boundary separation where the upper class would live, and the where the lower class would live in Yin Long planet, and this waterfall was the landmark peopled accepted as the boundary between both parts of the planet. The upper class where merchants, martial artists of the best kind and developed society whereas the lower half of the city was laborers, and manufactures and botanists. Their jobs was to build homes, plant food and vegetation, manufacture weapons, tools and equipment to provide for the major cities. Of course the lower half was paid decent amount of wages, but not close to the upper class. The lower class being so abundant and so many workers competing made it so the upper class only paid a fraction of what they would earn through profits, the lower class even though they wasn''t staving, they also wasn''t living a rich life either. They wold work 5 days a week minimum, either spend the final 2 days working again or spending time with their family. Wenrou managed to climb to the top of the waterfall with all the power in his body, each action would cause a slight acute pain to spark, and over time the pains would annoy the hell out of him that he just didn''t want to move anymore. It was better to stay still! He was sitting on a rock at the edge of the start of the waterfall, and knew that if he just let the waterfall carry his body the current would take him directly to the lower half of the planet. The only problem with this plan, was that his body was in to much pain, and if at the bottom of the waterfall he wasn''t able to swim back to the sides the current would surely take him and drown him. He decided to wait a whole day again, and took this moment to come to terms with what happened. He didn''t know how and why he ran to this waterfall, he thought that maybe he too believed he was trash and that the lower half was the only place he would fit. He truly didn''t know, but when he thought like that his heart would pump a bit faster, he would begin to slightly sweat and think was this truly all he would amount to? Is that mans words true? It would take a moment to calm his heart, every time he thought like that he looked back at the direction he ran from and just said to himself in a consolingly manner "It''s better to live as free trash, than trash chained to a master like a dog on a leash" Some people would rather live like a dog on leash than be free. Even if being free meant to be poor and live out your days working for most of your life this to Wenrou, was better than living a happy life and pretending everything is fine. To Wenrou, this was his way of thinking, maybe he just hated his father so much that this was the only conclusion he could come to. Because what his father said was true, to any other rich family he was really trash and had it good in the Xuanze mansion. One day later.-- Wenrou got back up with his energy partially returned, he was starving and still in pain, but that wasn''t going to stop him no! Not when he is so close to breaking his fate! He was able to jump to a small rock platform in the middle of the waterfall, it looked extremely weak at first, it looked like if any weight was pressed onto it, it would crumble and get dragged away in the current. However, Wenrou didn''t hesitate he thought to himself that if this small island has managed to resist for this long it must be a strong piece of rock. It sort of makes sense right? Wenrou landed and almost slid and fell on his bottom, the waterfall flowing past the rock made it all slippery and it took a moment for Wenrou to balance himself with the use of his feet and his arms, he just took a small peak at the bottom of the waterfall. This waterfall symbolized him breaking his fate, all he had to do was just jump and he would make his own fate in the lower half of the city! The moment he looked down however... "......!!" "Fuck, what the hell man, what the hell! It''s so long to the bottom!" The waterfall looked frightening from the top, with steam blowing up created from the violent turbulence of the waterfall hitting the lake at the bottom gave a majestic feeling, like small clouds floating around the waterfall. Wenrou just looked around his balls shriveled up the instant he looked down, this waterfall would make most men with big balls to suddenly have small balls. As Wenrou was looking around for a smarter plan to get down, it seemed he could only climb down on the vegetation overhanging and massive trees dark green roots from the forest reaching all the way to the bottom. The tree roots wrapped, and coiled around the waterfall like a dark green serpent it seemed as if it would never let this waterfall go anywhere. This forest was a part of the waterfall, and this waterfall apart of this forest. They would not be willing to part! A slight grin on Wenrous face, but then he cursed in his heart! "Even smiling hurts so fucking much! This stupid forest and this ugly waterfall are annoying I never wish to see these stupid trees again in my life!" Looking for a way to jump back to a safe ground, he crouched into a position to get ready to pounce at the edge, with his bum sticking out, his head low and his hands into a motion like it was a grapple he was going to make sure he wouldn''t get taken away by the current! For a brief moment a slight crack was heard! Followed by more smaller cracks Cack, cack cack! more cracks appeared, from no where this little platform was breaking apart, crumbling! Wenrou feeling these cracks looked down disbelievingly was his luck so bad? All he could think was "FUCK MY LIFE!" "AYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.." The shrill scream lasted for a brief moment before disappearing into the white mist, it seemed the waterfall was back to how it was, calm and serene nothing out of the ordinary. The forest looked slightly happier, the lush green leaves and purple berries and vegetation swaying in the light breeze, seemed to be cleansed of trash. Did this forest hear Wenrous thoughts? Was the forest responsible for the platform crumbling? Who could know? All he could do was curse his own luck. As Wenrou was falling he could feel his insides floating it was a truly weird feeling sort of how he would feel when he was sick. It took a moment for him to hit the lake, the moment he entered, the violent current swirling about, the force of the waterfall overhead crashing into the lake like a massive boulder continuously crashing, made him feel dizzy. Unable to control his body tossing and turning underwater. He could only close his eyes and hold his breath wait for the moment the current died down to swim to shore. But what was this? He felt himself hit a moving object? But in this lake this close to shore, and this shallow and narrow, sea creatures usually don''t appear here. Certainly not at the size he just hit! But he didn''t have time to think about that. He could only use this object that stopped his momentum to swim to the edge of this narrow stream, but he overestimated his capabilities he just felt his mind go fuzzy, then blank! He lost consciousness! Chapter 6: You broke my travel plan Floating Planet Yin Long, Lower Half just below the Waterfall Boundary "Hey! Wake up!" Wenrou hearing this slightly woke up, he could feel light sting building up on his cheeks unable to comprehend the situation at all. Right now, all he could do was to sit up and look around to only discover a young girl, her hand in a eager manner ready to slap him again, if he never woke up. He sucked in a cold breath the moment he saw her. She was pretty, to pretty! And so close to him! He forgot about his burning cheeks. He moved his head back a little to create distance between him and her. Looking at her he didn''t understand, but he continued to stare blankly at her, unable to look away. She had silvery blonde hair, deep green jade like eyes and pink lips and healthy pink skin, with a small nose, and ears hidden behind her long smooth hair. She looked a little younger than him but she looked much stronger, she was drying her hair with a towel while speaking to Wenrou. "Hey why did you jump down the waterfall? Why did you have to jump down the moment I was about to make a breakthrough?" Her voice was domineering, she was looking up at the heavens while saying this like the heavens had played an ugly joke on her. She was asking him why he jumped, but she didn''t care about why he jumped, she was annoyed that his body collided with hers in the water whilst she almost made a breakthrough. She looked at him with beady eyes, not able to understand this boy. If not for her he would have died, can a boy really be so weak? She didn''t understand but she asked again "so why did you jump?" seemingly a little more interested, this was the first time she seen anybody jump down this waterfall, not even grown men would dare this, let alone a boy. Yet this boy had? Wenrou looked down at his hands, he had been fixated on her this whole time, he took a gulp, slightly shook his head to regain his composure and looked back and said whilst he was shivering from the cold "I was escaping from something" the girl looked like she understood. Of course Wenrou couldn''t tell but it seemed she was familiar with the concept "escaping". The girl crossed her arms and legs, then sat on her bottom, slowly opened her eyes wide and spoke whilst releasing her aura "So! How will you repay me! You broke my concentration when I almost made a breakthrough, this is no small thing what will you do repay me?" Wenrou didn''t understand, she was younger but had already begun her Qi training? She almost made a breakthrough before he crashed into her? To him this concept was something he could never understand almost making a breakthrough would be important to any cultivator, regardless of stage. Wenrou unknowing what to do, just shrugged his shoulders he didn''t understand nor completely believe her about what she just said to him. He just laid back down, exhausted and wet, he took of his clothes one by one, the girls eyes grew wider she didn''t understand why he was taking his clothes off. "...!!" "Was this how he was going to repay me!?" Is all she could think, her eyes wide, her breath rugged her heart panting abnormally fast! Wenrou didn''t care about her, even if he broke her concentration shes still just a child. This was his new fate, he wanted to get dry, then get moving he wasn''t shy at all at this moment. i#If she wanted to watch him she could, he just wouldn''t care. The girls face growing redder, she turned her head slightly her eyes had a sudden fierce glint, she didn''t understand this boy at all, they was talking one a moment ago, next he started stripping? Wheres is this boys etiquette? Stripping in front of a girl, does he have no shame? She shouted in a loud voice without looking back towards Wenrous "Grandpa some boy is getting naked to repay me" Wenrou hearing this gave a dry cough he replied in a fast fashion "Don''t think of yourself to highly, I am just taking these wet clothes of so I can get dry. I will be gone soon." "Ri my dear, has the boy woken up?" A voice sounding happy, and joyful sounded out. She looked a little angrier it seemed her grandpa didn''t take her words seriously! She gave a cold "Hmph" and repeated her words louder "Grandpa, this boy is shameless he is already naked quick! Quick, come here and look at this boy!" An old man, popped his head out from where it could be seen, his body hidden behind a tree but there was a bright glow where his body was hidden, seemed they had setup camp here and was preparing to spend the night. He had good vision, and was able to quickly see Wenrou so relaxed laying down completely naked! Naked in front of his daughter!? The old man jumped out, Wenrou raised his head to see a stomping hunched back man walking to him, he had a straw hat, and a piece of straw in his mouth, he had a mustache that had almost dried up and looked prickly. He had a big forehead, with three moles around his right eye, his nose was hooked and skinny. He held both his hands behind his back and was wearing a cotton beige robe. The robes were simple and comfortable, he enjoyed wearing these the most and sandals. His disgusting toe nails sticking out, but they seemed to fit with his appearance and compared to his other body parts didn''t look so bad. Wenrou seeing this old man, just looked confused. He said whilst looking innocent "Mister, your granddaughter is delusional I just removed the clothes because I am wet. She wanted me to repay her, I didn''t know how, but if she enjoys looking at me then that can be considered repayment, since all I have is my body and dreams!" Love this story? Find the genuine version on the author''s preferred platform and support their work! His voice came out unrestrained and not polite at all. The old man seeing this just laughed "Haha, this boy is funny come boy, why don''t you join us for dinner, let us escort you to the Xia Ban city. We''ll get you dry clothes as well, how does that sound?" His voice was gentle and comforting, Wenrou hearing this could only oblige. Few hours later-- The camp fire had been blazing for hours now, and lit up the surrounding area it provided the camp with a warm heat, the three was sitting around the fire on wooden logs the old man procured. It seemed Wenrou couldn''t find a comfortable position, always fidgeting, they each held a warm wooden bowl. The old man had a massive smile on his face from ear to ear, when people ate his food he would feel joy this was a sort of profession he liked to always test and try different cuisines, he would enjoy cooking sort of a hobby for him. Wenrou was chugging bowl after bowl, some food would spill onto his cheek and his clothes, but he wouldn''t care he hadn''t eat in a few days. This food was to good! He shouted out between chugging bowls "How can this food be so good, old man, you must have added something special to it!" The old mans and the young girls appetite was effected by this image, it seemed the more Wenrou ate, the more their eyes was making them feel full from watching him, when they looked back down at their own bowls, they couldn''t eat this boy was eating to fast and eager! The old man said "Ri this boy must have went through on ordeal, it is clear he hasn''t ate for so long, why don''t you make friends with him?" She looked back up dissatisfied "He is a savage, look at the method he is eating why would I want to make friends with such a disgusting creature" and with a short "Hmph" she looked the other way, trying to eat her food with a small spoon. The old man could only heave a sigh inwardly and thought to himself "This girl, it''s hard for her to open her heart to anybody." He turned to look at Wenrou and asked him in a sharp manner "So why did you jump down the waterfall? Why would you come to the lower half when the upper half of the planet has better conditions to live?" Wenrou was silent he didn''t know how to answer he looked back at the old man, a cold awkward silence began creeping up, before it lasted any longer the old man waved with his right hand in a shaking manner "Don''t worry about it. By the way my name is Baohu, and this young lady is Ri my grand daughter. What is your name young man?" "Wenrou" He replied without delay and continued chugging with his eyes fixated on the old man. Baohu asked Wenrou in a concerned manner "What will you do now now that you are here, if you wish to go back to the upper half I can help you, if you like that is." Wenrou stopped chugging and looked to the ground briefly before looking back at Baohu, placing the bowl on the log, both his hands had clenched. He replied while he gnashed his teeth "I can''t go back. There is nothing for me to go back to!" The girl of to side looking away, she was looking away but she was concentrated on the conversation between her Grandpa and Wenrou. Hearing Wenrous response she looked back, she could see his rage in his eyes and fists, she didn''t understand but her voice came out, it seemed her mouth moved without her command, she blurted out without thinking "Why don''t you join us?" Silence! Baohu looked at her, had she ever asked anybody to travel with us? "Ri, are you sure?" asking like what she said before, was just a joke or fake sound. She looked at her grandpa with conviction "He has to repay me anyway, he can just follow till I figure out what!" Wenrou looked annoyed he quickly rebutted her "I don''t owe you anything, and I was planning to let the stream carry me down to the city, but now I am stuck here to far away from the city. You say I broke your concentration, you broke my travel plan!" He was shameless, he was lucky to have just survived! But he wouldn''t be chained to another person like before. Shifting his shameless gaze he looked into another direction. The girl had a red face, she had never asked anybody to accompany them before but the first one had rejected her! She didn''t understand this little boy at all, her body felt extremely hot her blood pumping, her heart restless, what was this feeling? Baohu looked confused, he moved to sit next to Wenrou and said in a gentle manner "Boy don''t worry. You won''t owe us anything, we travel selling monster carcasses and actually need an extra hand to help carry some. I will provide you with a place to sleep and a school to go with Ri. We work during the night, and you kids will study during the day. How does that sound?" Wenrou didn''t understand, this was to good of a treatment for a boy they just recently met. He didn''t know what the old man was thinking giving him a treatment like this, but he didn''t know this was the first time Ri had actually decided to help a random person, and a boy of her age maybe this would help her open up to somebody? He was a gentle old man, he wouldn''t leave him out here regardless of Wenrous answer, at least he would help him to the city, then he could leave if he wished to. Wenrou replied in non confident manner "I guess, I can..?" Chapter 7: Acceptance Day Yin Long planet lower half Wenrou, Baohu and Ri were located in the Meigui forest, close to the Xia Ban city. This city was located in the lower half and housed millions of people, and with it being the lower half there was warrants to cut down beasts in the Meigui forest to help keep the city as safe as possible. It was also a way to keep the people calm, there was no better way than to hang up dead carcasses and beast heads dangling of the walls. Each head of any beast of any rank would be paid in coin, naturally beasts hunters that went out would attain special privileges like free meal or a free bed for the night. It wouldn''t be luxurious especially not in the lower half, but it was acceptable privileges nonetheless. The Meigui forests, was located near the south of the Xia Ban city, and housed some of the most vicious beasts. This forest was a death zone for most cultivators and beast hunters, the forest had swirling trees brown and violet colored, from the ground it would grow straight for about 5 meters then it would slowly distort and begin to swirl. The leaves of this forest were red with specs of brown as well as black on them, since all the trees would end up swirling towards the top half, they interlocked with each other and ended up blocking out the sun. From the outside it looked like a massive red dome and it had this disgusting thick mist that would move like a tidal wave. When one looked at the mist that would blow out from the forest, and then get sucked back in within mere seconds would give most people goose bumps. A bad premonition! Within the forest you could hear beast and monster shrieks from all directions, within a part of the forest was an old man, picking berries and mushrooms of the floor that was mostly made up of stones and pebbles with small streams of water flowing down, this old man was Baohu, he was also, occasionally catching seven legged blue frogs with a tiny bulge on their forehead. To Baohu they was food! His face had a sinister gaze and lecherous smile on it he had already decided on many possibilities to cook them. He would think to himself "Tonight I am going to boil them alive, ahhh.. the way they boil alive will give them another sweet taste, or no. I will chop of the legs and boil them separately, since the body contains a small poison sac that could affect the taste. I''ll wrap the legs in scented green leaves to give the boiled legs a spectacular taste" with each thought he would take in a deep breath through his nostrils, as if he was smelling the food being cooked, the more he thought about what he could do, the more excited and wicked he would look. Ri seeing this old mans sinister gaze and smile just sighed this old man could be so gentle to humans but evil to beasts she and the old man had a special relationship she would shout at him when she would need to, and would be polite and respectful when needed right now she was fighting a beast but this old man wouldn''t help her. She could feel her rage boil up within her "Oi, grandpa stop having lecherous thoughts about tonight''s dinner. I AM NOT EATING FROG LEGS! SO DISGUSTING! Now will you help me kill this damned horned iron boar!" Her voice came out with discontent, how can this old man look so happy when his granddaughter was fighting with her life on the line? The old mans face didn''t change still imaging the many possibilities, his prickly mustache was able to cut the air, and this made him look even scarier. He just looked back at her "ahhh these frog legs will go nicely as a side dish next to that boar meat, alas I cannot help. No kill no feed. Kill that boar for tonight''s dinner and your training for today is complete!" his voice came out extremely smooth while he took a meditative position, he looked extremely happy holding his backpack, like it carried jewels and gold, didn''t even seem like he noticed Ri fighting the boar, he was in his own little world. Ri, held up her hands into a protective stance, Qi expanded from her fists and she was fighting this Horned Iron Boar bear handed. Her palms turning slightly red, from the constant collision with the Boar but didn''t look like it worried her at all. Looking for a place to strike the boar she looked around to only notice a branch up behind her, not to high not to low. She dodged backwards with skill, not even looking back perfectly standing on rocks like she had mapped this place, like it was imprinted it into her brain before the fight. The boar however, had different plans it wasn''t planning to die to such a weak looking girl! It kept following her tightly wailing and thrashing with its tusks at every chance, her brows creased she had one chance to to kill this boar, and that was a clean cut to the nape of the neck. The moment she neared the tree, she used her lower body strength to thrust her up to the branch, her body moved in a 180% with her legs landing at the bottom of the branch, an evil smile painted across her face, her left hand stretched out like a knife and she thought to her self "half crescent slash!" her body using the momentum of the leap, and the gravity of the planet her Qi focused towards her knife like palm and fingers, she descended at a scary speed! The branch split under her foot exerting pressure, and blasting of. Blood spurted out from the boars body, "Puchi.." the head flew off and landed close to her body, "bak, bak" she just looked at the Boar with contempt. These Iron Boars wouldn''t understand concept of surroundings or abilities to fight back. Their body was hardened through the Qi pouring through their orifices and being absorbed by their thick leather skin made them hard to deal with for some people. However, anybody who trained to a certain degree would be able to fight back with ease, able to kill them with a clean cut to the nape located at the back of the neck. Ri, just left the 4 meter long body, riddled with scars and wounds made from falling and attacks from humans. The boar had hair that had become as hard as mini wooden branches, it was grey colored across the stomach, and had brown fur. It had two white spear tusks coming out of its mouth, but one had been snapped off clearly from an earlier fight where it had survived, it gave it a fierce expression. It would send any boy back to their mama crying. The grandpa wasn''t far, he seen the body slumped he just walked over discontent on his face and voice "Your crescent chop is still to slow, if the branch was closer to the ground would you be able to make the jump and spin in time, and build enough momentum to generate enough power for the chop to cleanly cut this boar? No I don''t think so. Stop looking proud and go get Wenrou you silly girl!" She just pouted her lips and crossed her arms "I''ll master this skill before long!" Ri ran over to the cart where Wenrou was lying down "Oi Wenrou get the fuck up you freeloader. Help my grandpa carry my kill" She crossed her arms and raised her head as she said this, she looked way to proud, it was faintly emitting from her. Wenrou hearing the word "Oi" could only feel rage from deep, deep inside him. He had come to hate this word with every cell and fiber in his body. This girl would start every sentence when she addressed someone with "Oi" his face would twitch, he would clench his jaw because after a few months it had started to irritate him, and Ri noticing this naturally wasn''t going to stop any time soon. She was having a lot of fun pissing him off. He just looked at her with his eyes droopy, that contained malice behind them, he could only nod. He jumped out the cart and headed towards Baohu. Along the way he couldn''t help but suck in a breath of cold air and think to himself "this girl is crazy, shes able to kill a Horned Iron Boar! Fucking freak" he would curse in his heart every time she killed a huge beast because, she would kick him down and look down at him, he wasn''t able to do such things, without even a seed growing and having weak Qi maybe he would never be able to. Baohu noticing Wenrous quiet and distant demeanor couldn''t help but pry "What are you thinking about?" Wenrou looked up, he looked at Baohu as he picked up a leg of the Boar and started quietly murmuring at a volume Ri wasn''t able to hear, "My brother will be attending the School Acceptance Day today" maybe she would laugh till tomorrow if she found out his brother was extremely talented, compared to him who was pretty much garbage. "Your brother? Interesting, Interesting.. Does he have talent?" Boahu said this while running his oily fingers through his spear like mustache, looked a little shocked inwardly, Wenrou would hardly talk about himself or his past, he couldn''t help asking more. This man loved hearing peoples secrets, he had an air of mysticism as well, which probably came about by all of the secrets he knows. Wenrou just silently nodded confirming Boahu''s question. -------------------- Crater City was lively today, it was vibrant and glowing! Today was the School Acceptance Day! many youths would enter a school and begin to train, eventually being able to master some sort of Art that would propel them when they left this planet. The city was having a giant festival, everybody would attend and watch the acceptance day either from the streets or from their balcony and windows of their top floor. The city had decorations littered from building to building, or plastered to the walls with orange and blue lanterns lit all around the city giving an air of festivities, some parts of the city had fireworks and dance shows going on with people dressed in beast costumes reenacting a famous fight between a beast and a supreme warrior. Drums were constantly being played throughout the city, it wasn''t to loud nor to quiet it blended into the mixture of sounds perfectly. The city as loud as it is, quieted down, the drums slowed down and eventually coming to halt. When the three major schools entered the square and surrounded a round platform positioned in the very center of the city. The platform was made up of silver stone, with a black wooden border running all the way around the perimeter, it was one meter above the ground. Everybody was silent as the City lord Toulan Xuanze moved up to the platform, ready to give a speech to the crowd he was wearing a metallic red colored robe, with a gold and black pattern embroidered onto it, with black shoes that was plain but suited the robe very much. The robe was fluttering in the wind, Toulan had both his hands behind him, his hair floating in the slight breeze, brushing past his face every so often. Toulan using his Qi to address the people in the square and all the schools present started talking "Today is another joyous occasion for our Yin Long planet. Today is a day our children have reached an age where they can grow wings and fly. Without further ado we will let the Zh¨¦ ch¨¬ de q¨«zh¨°ngj¨© school and Hu¨¯h¨®ng de qu¨¢nt¨®u school come up and display a martial art routine then we will begin the administration tests to test the children''s capabilities. This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. Didn''t take long for the Zhe Chi school to step up first, wearing white uniforms they was 8 young adults at the age of 18. They looked calm yet fierce, moving into a circle position, all facing each other at each other they began collecting their Qi and soon it turned into the wind element. Their dance routine was one of composure, elegance and swift movements jumping in and out between each other, using the wind to propel them a hairs distance past each, truly left the crowd gasping and wanting more. The wind element they utilized had calmed the air surrounding the platform, but left the people with jumping heartbeats. Next the Huohong school stepped up, wearing black uniforms specializing in the element of fire their moves were all firm and explosive they started in a straight formation but each move would place them at a different part of the platform synchronizing their fire to bring about crazy moves, each move would lift them selves of the ground with the explosive capabilities of the fire element bursting out of their palms and feet. They had magnificent control over the fire element, utilizing the fire to burst from their fists, and bottom of their soles enabling them to glide around the platform weaving in and out of each other with the occasional one flying above for a brief moment and spiting an explosive flame. This all left the crowd gasping at every turn the young adults would almost collide with each other, or when one would fly out from within the black uniforms, and would use the brief moment before landing to conjure fire to slow his descent enough to move into a position within the formation. It took a moment for the Huohong school to step down, and the atmosphere was left with a fiery breeze, everybody looking extremely excited and their blood boiling. Parents happy their sons and daughters would be able to wield elements such as this when the time came. Toulan stepped back up, all the people around the platform fell silent. Toulan looked down to the bodies that filled the square and said in a quiet manner "we will have the kids who want to join the school they wish to join stand up in an orderly fashion and prepare to meet the heads of the respective schools and see if they have the requirements to join. Zhe Chi school was clearly very popular, the many kids lined up to meet the head. The head of the Zhe Chi school wore a long white robe with golden patterns embroidered onto the robe, the robe was especially long that it covered his feet, he had grey hair and grey thin long beared that dropped down to this waist, he gave of the feeling of ancientness and a profound wind was circling around him. Each kid stepped up walking towards him, he would touch their wrist for a brief moment analyzing their seed, he would give a affirmative nod which would move the kid to the next stage, where he would place his hand upon a special gemstone that would demonstrate the amount of Qi their body was generating at their age. The more Qi one produced, the more one could use skills, and profound movement techniques the less Qi one produced per breath would result in a longer waiting time before they was battle ready again. The Zhe Chi was taking long it seemed, and the Huohong and other schools stepped up, each master was emitting a dignified aura the Huohong school master was dressed in deep black azure robes with a circular swirling motion sewn, with a red fire phoenix image on the back of his robes, he had white hair and red eyebrows with flaming fiery red eyes. You could hear numbers being shouted out each school was recording the results of the students participating in the test numbers such as "112, 78, 89, 65, 92, 221" 221 was an extremely high number, most people gaped at this number and heads were raised to see which kid this was, whoever it was would bring great pride and power to their family in the future. The numbers kept coming out unceasingly, the Zhe Chi and Huohong as well as the other schools had accepted a considerable amount of students in the square, except one. This was the Tiandi school, an old man dressed in black, with a black hood he turned all the kids around as they came. Their seed and their Qi accumulation talents were weak no matter whoever came, it seemed he wasn''t willing to accept any kid this year.. The parents seeing their kids being turned around without being tested could only curse in their hearts. Most of the lords who seen this could only sigh, the Tiandi school was mysterious the master would only accept one student a year and that was just through sheer luck, however everybody knew that the Tiandi school produced the best quality students. Cause he took very little on, he would develop them much more as he could concentrate on them enabling them to develop greater. Greyhound and Toulan were surrounded by servants and other lords, eating fruits and meat as they was drinking wine, watching little Jie make his way to the platform. They wanted him to go to the Zhe Chi school, but after the things that happened between Wenrou and Toulan he had become a little rebel, not listening to his fathers and Greyhounds suggestion he didn''t go to the Zhe Chi school, he just stood there pondering about where to go, his eyes moving along each school but he would constantly drift to the Tiandi Schools master, it was like he was drawing him in he could only look more and more towards him the more he focused. Toulan gave Greyhound a slight nod, even though Toulan was eating and drinking wine and looked happy, he actually wasn''t he seemed to have aged five years over the course of a few months. He was just fake laughing and smiling at his guests but he just wanted Jie to be accepted and make his way back home. Greyhound moved and landed next to Jie, on one knee he asked "little lord? What is the matter? Just pick a school, you are talented whichever school you decide to go to they will accept you, me and your father sug.." before he finished speaking Jie gave him a fierce look he still hadn''t forgotten how Greyhound had took him away from his brother and he hadn''t forgave him yet. Greyhound could only laugh bitterly, his little lord had tried to act cold towards his father and him but he wasn''t very good at it his fierce looks, weren''t fierce at all they was just a small child angry but if one looked past that they could see he still loved his father and Greyhound he was just punishing them for what had happened. Jie just moved to the platform but he didn''t walk towards any of the major schools he just walked close to the Tiandi school master and sat down with his legs crossed and his fists below his chin holding his head up. He spoke directly towards the master who had his eyes closed "Mister, why do I feel like I am drawn to you?" His cute voice sounded out direct and sharp. The other masters in the square picked up on this and looked interested, stroking their beards they all looked towards the old man in black hooded robes with curiosity gleaming in their eyes. The air was quietly blowing across the square and it seemed everybody and everything had stopped and turned to look at this situation going on in the square. A child had addressed a master directly? Buzzes of conversations sprouted out from the crowd "Whose kid is this? He spoke to the Tiandi school master" most of the people had confused looks on their faces, Greyhound and Toulan could only laugh in their hearts this kid knew no fear. It didn''t take long for word to spread out that this kid was Toulan Xuanzes kid, the crowd paid even more attention when they gained the knowledge of who he was. Tiandi School Master opened his eyes slowly, his gaze looking across the square, before long it landed on this kid who sat in a position like he was listening to a lecture or looking at a sculpture, the master just looked at him and said in a voice filled with veneration "may I test your seed little one?" Jie just nodded, handing his hand over... The moment the Tiandi school master placed his hand onto Jie''s wrist his eyes filled with shock his body jumped up, everybody in the crowd who seen this scene was filled with shock as well, at most the master would usually just grunt and accept a disciple before leaving but they never seen such a scene! The master urged Jie to place his hand on the rock, it was important to be talented in both areas, Qi and a Powerful seed. Jie placed his small hands onto the stone, the stone was a great deal bigger than his hand and he only managed to cover half the stone where the stone illuminated producing a gold colored number 321! The whole crowd was stunned "...!!!!!!!" "Is that even a child? I have never seen a number so high on our planet!" Instantly the crowd burst into a riot they had never seen such a number, this was higher than most kids in the inner conclave planets, it was extremely hard to match kids from the inner planets as they had the best treatment and even the best materials and food, pills to treat their body way before the required age of training, but Jie had reached this number on this small planet? Toulans calm gaze turned into an expression of shock, instantly his body heated up producing sweat that had started pouring down his head he didn''t believe the number? He rubbed his eyes twice, three times and then a fourth but he still didn''t believe it! Greyhound and all the other lords the same, they had never seen such a number in an acceptance day!! The Tiandi Master just clasped his hands and had a affectionate smile on his face, he could only think to himself "I will be able to train another sage! The lords have blessed me with one final student and he is so talented, he will become a sage in the future. haha!" It took a long time for the crowd to quieten down, nobody could still believe the number. The other masters were also unable to move their eyes or even concentrate on the kids in front of them, they all wanted to know the quality of this kids seed? If his Qi talent was so high, what was his Seed like? They all felt their hearts pump at this notion. Once the whole ordeal calmed completely down, the kids returned to their parents side, most still unable to remove their gaze from the child especially the other school masters, the Tiandi School had gotten extremely lucky this time and had gained such a talented disciple. Jie moved next to his father and sat down, he didn''t quite understand the situation but he enjoyed all the people in the square looking at him with wide eyes and shock filled faces. He wasn''t completely the same as Wenrou, where Wenrou didn''t like to much attention, Jie welcomed it. He liked to be noticed and wasn''t as shy as his brother either. The festivities continued on for another day before coming to and end, at which point the children chosen would make their way to the respective schools to begin training. Chapter 8: 7 Years Yin Long Planet Upper Half Crater City was stilled on this night. The quietness was almost tangible, no rustle of clothing, everybody¡¯s breathing was slow and barely audible. The whole of Crater City was gathered at the center, viewing the platform in the center of the city with utmost care. To these people, being able to view martial artists as they grow up, and spar is a truly blood boiling occasion. Men would enjoy it more than women, of course not all women were of such mind. The platform was a whole new domain, the atmosphere within the platform was reserved for only the fighters to feel the stones below their feet. To be able to breathe the air that lingered above the platform, made one feel like royalty. It was truly astonishing. Knowing the moment you stepped on that platform all of Crater City would have their eyes upon you. The platform hovered there, like a flat disc, uninterrupted by the gazes homing on to the platform. Two young adults were locked in gaze, one was adorned in a white cotton robe belonging to the Zhi Chi School. The other youth was enveloped in a pitch black, loosely fit silk robe with a hood. This youth was none other than Jie. Jie looking at the boy across him, edging his feet inch by inch. His left hand stretched out in front of him, aligned with his upper torso. Jies palm was open, with his right hand in a fist by his waist line. His left leg stretched ahead of his right leg, his body slightly crouched, and his weight on his right foots toes to give him the spring required for his leap. Whilst the Zhe Chi student was relaxed, both his feet distanced by 30 cm, forming the letter L, his knees slightly bent. Both his arms relaxed out, with an open palm, a slight curl raised on the side of his lips. The Zhe Chi student took two light steps, moving his left leg first ¡®pu¡¯ . ¡®pu¡¯. Both his hands dropped to his side, dangling in the wind. His light steps were more like mini leaps, he covered three metres in a breath. His third step landing on his left leg, he sprang vaulting in the air. Behind his left leg, wind element was accumulating from the moment he entered his stance. The slashing blades of the wind behind his leg, distorted the surrounding atmosphere. The moment his leg closed in on the platform, bringing with it a swirling wind. The wind blade unleashed, sprang out from behind his leg parting the wind above the platform, screeching across the platform ¡®screeeeeeeee¡¯. Jie looking at his opponent, ignoring the incoming wind blade, grinding across the platform. Jie sidestepped to the left, both his feet working in unison like each foot was orbiting around the other. He moved steadily, The wind blade rushed past him, blowing wind into his face. The Zhe Chi student hadn¡¯t landed yet. Jie Sprung, like a dragon flying out of his cave! Leaping a whole eight metres, his right foot landed first, his left foot lagging behind, came sliding through. His body utilizing the Qi from his right foot that was like a pole stuck in the ground. His right fist clenched harder, he had also been rotating and circulating his Qi from the beginning. His left foot sliding, carrying the momentum of the launch and land, pivoting from his waist, carrying the power which moved towards his left palm. His left foot stopped just before the Zhe Chi student. Jies body rising from his landing position, his palm shooting to the Zhe Chi students¡¯ chest! He couldn¡¯t dodge, his palm that had flew out, like it exploded out of a canon! The instant it moved, was the instant it landed on his chest! The Zhe Chi Student didn¡¯t know what to do, a deep feeling of fear imbued in the palm. The whole place darkened in his view. All he could see was the palm that landed on his chest! All he could hear was the palm landing on his chest ¡®PA¡¯. He closed his eyes, it was instinct that told him to close his eyes. ¡°¡¡.¡± The whole square still quiet, everybody in a knelt position around the square using their hands to clutch on to their clothes! This fight was decided in an instant! A muffled explosion sounded on the platform, a second after the palm landed on the Zhe Chi students¡¯ chest. It was like a small bomb had exploded in a closed metal container. The air was blasted, but didn¡¯t move far like it was compressed around the platform. The Zhe Chi student felt a cold, yet gentle breeze flow through his innards and explode behind his back! ¡°¡¡.!!¡± The crowd couldn¡¯t contain their excitement and curiosity any longer! ¡°Did you see that white smoke?¡± ¡°Is he okay?!¡± The crowd gasping, they could clearly see the white dust explode from behind the student. Most of the kids and women had their hands covering their mouths, unable to understand the situation at all. Actually nobody was, the only people who could tell was the School Masters, and Disciples. They all understood that Jie had went easy, he had controlled his Qi to explode it directly behind the opponent. Otherwise it would have been a serious injury. Such control! Jies gaze looked evil, he was thinking to himself ¡®I won¡¯t let him of this easy, that wind blade was capable of chopping of an arm or two.¡¯ Jie rotated his palm that was flat across the Zhe Chi Students chest, the moment his palm rotated the enemy blasted of, his body twisting in mid-air, crashing onto an empty food stand not too far away from the platform. ¡®Bang¡¯ , ''kuchi'' ''chicha'' sounds of splitting, splintering and snapped woods filled the square. The student got back up, clasped his hands towards Jie, then the school masters and bowed towards the spectating crowd. Making his way back to his school, he sat back down. He was replaying the fight in his mind, trying to understand what he could have done better. This was the first time he had been beaten so quickly, his name was Pinjing. He had curly, golden brown hair. Lean body, with deep blue eyes. Jie following suit did the same, next he moved of the platform in a steady and calm fashion. He seemed like a martial god to this crowd, able to predict his enemy¡¯s movements and technique, being able to counter with a lightning fast response! The crowd went into an uproar, wanting to view more fights, see these youths before they left this planet in a years¡¯ time. Greyhound of to the side, was talking quietly with Toulan. They looked aged, but happy. It was seven years, since they sent Jie to train, even they never imagined he would have joined the Tiandi School. However, in a short period of time, he exhibited such amazing talent, eclipsing all the other youths in training. Toulan started to think about somebody else. He was in a relaxed manner, lying down on the beast fur, where a beautiful lady who was feeding him grapes and cherries. This lady, was Wenrous mother. She had medium blonde hair, and had well defined body with swaying curves. She wasn¡¯t the prettiest women in the square, but for some reason Toulan could only look at her. She had this beauty that appealed just to him, like a sparkling diamond nobody could see. She carried a face of happy, and comfort for public events. However, she wasn¡¯t happy, she had poor ovaries since birth and Wenrou was her only child, naturally she thought he would grow up just like Jie. But fate wasn¡¯t just cruel on Wenrou, fate was also cruel on her. Toulan looked sad, thinking how Zhi had lost Wenrou. He couldn¡¯t have believed that Wenrou would run away, nobody was able to find him. They found tracks leading to the waterfall, and looking at the displaced rock, and tracks made them understand that Wenrou had fallen into the lake and died, as his body was feeble. No way would he have been able to survive the drop, not with his body! Greyhound of the side, couldn¡¯t help but think ¡®one son a bright flame, the other whose candle was never lit. Such a shame, I miss that rascal. I wonder what he would be like today.¡¯ Zhi had her hands, running through Toulans hair scratching it slightly. She felt some of the blame was Toulans fault, but Zhi understood that he cared for Wenrou, more than he should have in his own right. Zhi was a naturally quiet women, she would always think in her head and wouldn¡¯t talk much with others. The only people she really talked with on more than one occasion was Toulan, Greyhound and the other servants. After Wenrou, was presumed dead she went even quieter, and she avoided Jie like he was a plague. He looked like a spitting image of Wenrou, and this would cause her more suffering. She had mistaken Jie for Wenrou, on more than one occasion, every time he returned from school. Keeping her hopes up that one day he would return, these thoughts would break her heart even more. She had went even quieter over time, she just nodded nowadays. The last time she had spoken was 3 years ago. The time she had closed her heart to anybody and anything. To her this world was dull, grey and devoid of light. How important is a son to a mother? The pain of bringing him into this world? Could a father understand this? She carried Wenrou in her womb for 38 weeks, and was so happy to have a good looking child who made friends and knew how to have a good time. If you was a mother, could you live in a world, where your son had fallen of a cliff and presumed to have drowned to death? Could you? The platform was filled with more fights, scorching flames, whistling winds and shattering rock sounds filled the city square that night. It took a whole day, to get through all the students to demonstrate to the city and their parents how much they have grown. Even though Jie only stood up for one fight, his fight was imprinted into the hearts and minds of everybody there. Chapter 9: First Meeting Thundering Dragon Chapter 9: First meeting. Floating planet Yin Long, lower half The planet was especially warm during this season. It is the summer solstice, this period of season for the Yin Long planet felt like a dragon was breathing flames, fumes into the atmosphere making it hard to breathe. Practicing cultivation would make it for the majority of the population hard to maintain their vigour. This naturally never applied as harshly to cultivators, but it would still be a burden during this time of the year. The landscape looked crimson from a distance, the sun raging within the distance, would produce bursts that would carry with-it raging flames as it illuminated the nearby revolving planets. Every sun is different within the galaxy, and the sun providing life to the Yin Long planet is a young son. Baohu and Ri had just finished hunting, and wanted to surprise Wenrou, making an earlier roundtrip to pick up Wenrou before heading back out to hunt and prepare camp. Ri had stopped attending school alongside Wenrou. Since Ri was too far ahead of all the cultivators and martial artists, why bother with them? ¡°Grandpa, do you understand Wenrous situation at all?¡± Ri asked sitting on the cart, looking curiously at her Grandpa. Baohu just glanced at Ri from the side, he is also unable to completely understand Wenrou. He replied calm and quiet ¡°I do not know he is different that is for sure. His meridians are not completely blocked, but his body is unable to absorb the Qi lingering within the planets and the galaxy. He is unable to draw from the essence of the worlds. The last remaining planet guardians all disappeared 10,000 years ago. They had cultivation methods for all kinds of situations. However, like I said. Wenrous case is a little special, for him to cultivate again will require extreme measures..¡± Ris expression became solemn. Baohu noticed the change in her emotions, how could he not? They had spent the past seven years on this planet, and Wenrou had always accompanied Ri. Ri has had little to no friends since birth, and carries the burden of a family awaiting her return. She is not so close to Wenrou to fall in love with him, but they are good friends, even if they tease each other and annoy each other they still have a good time, and these are the only years Baohu has seen Ri smile and become close to somebody other than him. ¡°Ri¡± Baohu called out, stopping the cart. His expression had turned serious ¡°You must bury your heart in ice. Once we leave this planet in a few days you will never see Wenrou again. His fate is tied to this planet, never to leave, and perhaps that is best for him. He wouldn¡¯t last long in the other sectors, especially not in our family.¡± Ri was about to argue, but could see Wenrou up ahead. She turned her gaze and noticed a scene unfolding in front of them. ¡°Hey Wenrou, check this new skill I have mastered¡± a thin and grating voice sounded out. And with that the assailant leapt forward, one foot in front of the other there was a swirling motion around his left hand where a faint Qi stream could be seen from the tips of his fingers leaving behind a smooth trail. The fingers struck Wenrous top right shoulder, where Wenrou was blown away to crash into a wall behind him. Wenrou was being beaten, and these weren¡¯t just normal attacks. They were Qi infused abilities, obviously the person attacking had amazing control allowing him to leave the littlest of damage. This was Ra¡¯win. Ris eyebrows knitted together. She never liked Ra¡¯win, he liked to hurt people too much. It had become a sickness with him. Seeing Wenrou unable to defend against him, she was just about to leap up, and protect him when Baohus arm suddenly grabbed hers. She turned looking furiously at her grandpa. ¡°What are you doing Ri? If you act now, Wenrou is a man, already a young adult. Helping like this will only further send him to his grave, what will he do when you leave? If you help now, and even if you hurt the other boy, later he will come back even harsher for protecting Wenrou. Then imagine his situation?¡± How could Baohu not understand Wenrou. He knew that Wenrou was being beaten up daily, but if he never asked for help, he wouldn¡¯t help him. He has already done enough for Wenrou. He knew that helping beforehand would only make it worse for Wenrou. Wenrou felt extremely ashamed of not being able to fight back on his own, and his natural deficiency of not being able to circulate Qi around his body made him feel lower than a dog. He would occasionally think back to his argument with his dad back in the mansion. Seven years had passed, but he had not forgotten that day, what his father had said. He had long ago believed to be lower than a dog. As Wenrou was lying on the floor pain stricken, his face solemn he noticed Ri and Baohu. He noticed their eyes looking at him. ¡°No why are they here?! No no! Why! Fuck you Ra¡¯win. You piece of shit. Now they are looking at me like that as well. Does everybody think I am lower than a dog?!¡± Wenrou could only curse in his heart. He hated how people looked at him, he shifted his gaze away from Baohu and Ri. He was unable to look at them, viewing him as a weak and pathetic human. Just as Ri was about to push of her Grandpas arm, the atmosphere changed. A man had suddenly appeared on top of a small cliff of at the side. The cliff was like a small overpass, such cliffs are overabundant within the environment. The man was crouched, he wasn¡¯t emitting anything but his gaze. He looked towards Wenrou and Ra¡¯win. Within the area was Ri and Baohu. Ra¡¯win and his people we¡¯re there as well and just Wenrou. Now that this mysterious person had appeared, time had suddenly stopped. Nobody could move, Ra¡¯win felt a cold chill pass through his body. He suddenly felt Goosebumps all over his arms, his hair was sticking up! This was fear, this was instinct telling him to run! Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. He stayed crouched, looking at the scene in front of him. He had long black hair, his head was tilted slightly towards the ground making the bamboo hat on his head block most of his features. However, this still made Ra¡¯win shiver with a cold sweat. His features being hidden, his gaze that was hidden which made it seem much fiercer. This man was mysterious and mysterious was scary. The man was adorned in black martial attire with a dark blue robe with blue bubbles all over the robe. Nobody realised but they had stopped for a little while. Everybody was waiting for this man to move, who was he? Why did he appear here just now? Everybody was guessing in their hearts. Baohu was amused. He couldn¡¯t help but smile, he was unable to understand the strength of this mysterious man. However, Baohu being a martial artist of a high calibre could understand that the man to the side of them was not normal. ¡°¡.¡± ¡°Oh? These little baby chicks are playing training. That boy though, such a pity. He can¡¯t protect himself.. hm? Why are they looking at me? Is there something wrong with my clothes? My face? The man began touching himself, feeling his clothes, his body and face. This made everybody feel slightly awkward. What is he doing now? The situation had shifted from Wenrou being bullied, to watching this man perform acts. He kept touching himself, slowly his hand slipped down to where he grabbed his two balls. He then began itching them. A momentary look of satisfaction eclipsed over his face. Ra¡¯win seeing this felt his face twitch. He looked down at Wenrou and spat at him ¡®tuk¡¯ and continued ¡°is this your friend Wenrou? He looks just like you a goddamn fool! Pretending to be something he isn¡¯t.¡± Wenrou would piss Ra¡¯win off every time he attended the local lectures based on Martial Arts, Qi and Essence training. Nobody paid attention to Wenrou, because he wouldn¡¯t last more than five minutes in a lesson before a master would shame him in front of the class and beat him up, or watch others attack Wenrou as a way to teach the class martial arts. They would practice on him when they ganged up and ridicule him whenever they saw him. It just pissed Ra¡¯win off, making him mad. People who didn¡¯t belong somewhere, shouldn¡¯t be there. This was a rule of society a rule his father beat into him. Just as the mysterious man was about to leave, he stopped and turned his head looking at Ra¡¯win. He was tall, standing on the hill with the sun behind him gave of an aura of ancientness. Ra¡¯win continued arrogantly ¡°Hey old man. You look similar to this dog here, you worthless sack of shit. Why are you watching something you shouldn¡¯t and why are you hanging around this area. I have never seen you before¡± he finished spitting again ¡®huarrk, tuk¡¯ gathering the phlegm in his mouth and shooting it towards the ground. The man just stood there, thinking about what he just said. He replied in a righteous manner, while touching his chin with his right hand as if he was the most serious person ever to say this line ¡°I am looking for females to add to my harem.¡± Wenrous eyes bulged, Baohu looked disbelievingly, Ris jaw dropped and Ra¡¯win looked unsightly. He replied ¡°You are just a pervert old man. No girl will willingly give themselves to a pretender like you. Ah, however a pervert like you can¡¯t stop these sort of disgusting thoughts. It is my duty as the instrument of justice to put people like you in their place.¡± The man¡¯s gaze turned unsightly. He hated the word pervert! His rage was beginning to billow, the more it billowed within, the redder his face became. Ra¡¯win could see he struck a nerve, and was for sure this man was just a commoner pretending to be a martial artists. Maybe this was his ploy to get females? He continued whilst approaching him step by step ¡°Perverts are men who need to be castrated, so we as a human kind can stop more perverts being born.¡± Before Ra¡¯win could take another step the wind shuffled, the atmosphere changed it turned cold and chilling! Before Ra¡¯win could look up, he felt a shadow fall on him. He felt the weight of a presence approaching him and before He could do anything ¡®PAK!¡¯ ¡°Call me a pervert one more time¡± ¡®PAK!¡¯ the man¡¯s rage sky high he continued in a raging fashion ¡°call me a fucking pervert one more time. Watch me take you home and take your mother under me and father more perverts with her¡± ¡®PAK!¡¯ His rage was seeping out through his nostrils and eyes, before he looked sort of looked handsome and refined under his bamboo hat. Now though he looked like raging red boar! He kept continuing and with each time he kept slapping Ra¡¯Win. At this moment, he wanted Ra¡¯win to keep calling him a pervert, because the sensation from slapping made him feel extremely serene! He kept shouting unrestrained ¡°Call me a pervert one more fucking time! Do it!¡± Ra¡¯win was being held, he could feel his right arm was stuck in some sort of vice. He couldn¡¯t move any longer. His face red, swelling slowly and few of his teeth knocked out, alongside his nose bleeding. Made him look like a red warthog! Ri was shocked as well. The sight of Ra¡¯win being slapped wasn¡¯t what had shocked her. It was that this man had moved 15 paces without expanding his Qi, nor disturbing the surrounding atmosphere. He passed through as if he had owned the air between him and Ra¡¯win! Just who is he?! Baohu, looked up at him, there was only a few breaths between him and the man. He still couldn¡¯t feel the man extrude any sort of Qi or Essence. He was a talented individual indeed, hiding Qi whilst utilising movement technique would be hard for many master tier martial artists, but this man was able to do it without being prepared for a fight. Chapter 10: Senior Laohu Thundering Dragon Chapter 10: Senior Laohu The mysterious man holding Ra¡¯win, just gave a cold ¡°humph¡± at the end, continued arrogantly ¡°looking at how ugly you are, your mother is probably no better off.¡± After saying that, he just let go. Ra¡¯win fell to the ground like a deflated ball. His people, scared to offend ths mysterious expert the three of them continued to quietly hover in the background trying to conceal their figures as much as possible. The man just looked at them and nodded, signalling them to come pick him up and leave. The three lads moved in a weary fashion, they clearly saw how much Ra¡¯wins face had changed. How would Ra¡¯win explain to his parents how his face came to be? Three additional melons had spontaneously grew on his face. The sight shocked them to the core, they couldn¡¯t look this mysterious figure directly in the eyes, and right now he looked like a devil to them! An awkward air began to linger, as Ra¡¯wins deflated body was being carried off. Nobody could really say anything, or do anything not even the mysterious man. It was like a Mexican stand of, Wenrou on the ground, Ri and Baohu on the cart exchanging gaze for gaze with the mysterious man. However, as much as Ri wanted to look him the eye, she was unable to as some sort of pain would seep into her eyes every time she tried, her eyes felt a slight strain accumulate the longer she stared at this man¡¯s eyes, eventually she gave up. Unable to penetrate through this technique, she could only give up. The man was eyeing Ri with dissatisfaction. He was thinking in his head, whilst heaving a sigh ¡°Already a young lady, 16 years of age and potential almost limited. I don¡¯t see great growth in her legs, and upper chest. Her facial features just barely pass. Not good enough for the Harem!¡± He said it like, ¡°the Harem¡± was the only Harem viable to be officially classed as a Harem. The man gave a snort, when he thought about this planet and all the low quality females. Ri felt unpleasant with his action, and had a crumpled face while looking at him. Baohu could only think how unruly Ri is. This was her character, which would make him also admire her in his heart. Mysterious expert looked a little annoyed and dejected, as he was about to walk away when his body in motion came to a halt. He wasn¡¯t concentrating particularly on Wenrou, but he noticed the boy had moved to his knees and had his eyes glued on him. He looked over, with it moved a fierce gaze able to carry a gale wind, penetrating deep into Wenrous mind sending him reeling. But to his shock, he regained his balance and continued to look directly at this mysterious man¡¯s eyes! He looked a little surprised and amused. ¡°His willpower is astonishing...¡± He looked like a hidden expert underneath the bamboo hat, couple with his black robes. Wenrou could only have respect in his heart. ¡°This man he is special!¡± is all Wenrou could think, unwilling to waste a second! He would imprint this man in his heart. Somebody strong enough to protect the weak, this to Wenrou was already the most amazing person. The longer Wenrou looked at him, the more strain was accumulating and very quickly his vision became blurry and darkened slightly. However, he was unwilling to remove this man from his gaze. Suddenly his vision went blank, an abyss of darkness followed by the feeling of a palm covering his eyes. He could feel somebody blocking his vision, knowing it wasn¡¯t Baohu¡¯s wrinkly old man hands, or Ri¡¯s young soft skinned hands, the more he thought the more his heart began to race, he knew¡ it could only be the mysterious man! His heart was pounding so loud it was about to fly out of his chest! His breathing became extremely ragged almost in sync with his heart beats, his mouth dry as desert. He was scared to swallow the saliva building in his mouth. Ri looked unsightly thinking quietly in her head ¡°is he going to hurt Wenrou?¡± clenching her firsts as she thought of the possibilities of what the man of such calibre could do to somebody like Wenrou. Her Qi was circulating from her abdomen, silently moving towards her legs, passing through her blood stream and seeping in to her feet¡¯s sole and bones, preparing to rush to Wenrous aid if the situation turned grim. Baohu, of to the side had a sensitive aura. Ri being in the beginner stages wasn¡¯t able to contain her Qi and some lingered around her which startling him awake. He could only laugh, this young lady didn¡¯t think things through. He just tapped Ri on the back and quietly said ¡°If he wanted to hurt Wenrou, from that distance even if, I myself moved Wenrou would be dead. Don¡¯t worry Ri, This man is no threat. If Wenrou continued to look at him, his eyes would eventually darken and he would be forever blind in grimacing pain as the technique this man is utilising is Bu Zhide. Baohu continued, taking this as an opportunity to teach Ri ¡°the longer one maintained visual contact with the other party, Qi would eventually seep into your eyes. This Qi would then solidify into small drops of substance that has sharp properties similar to that of brittle metal that would sit inside your eyes for an eternity. Even though this technique is made to inflict damage upon the enemy nobody would be able to endure that acute pain in their eyes The man is protecting Wenrou, not harming him.¡± This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. Ri felt a little satisfied, and now looked curiously at this expert. Now that Wenrou is not in any danger she wanted to know more. She looked at her grandpa with a sweet girl attitude and asked extremely politely, ¡°How does one counter this technique? Even I am unable to look that man for more than a few mere breaths.. so how is Wenrou able to look for so long?¡± Her question changed to another question, as she thought about how long Wenrou was able to keep staring at this expert in the eyes. Baohu knew the only way to ever calm Ri was to show her a new technique, or to tell her about fascinating Qi battles between man and beast. She was just like a child in this regard, making him remember somebody which put a giant smile on his face. The more Baohu smiles the higher up his prickly mustache would rise giving, making his smile seem extremely malicious if one never knew this man they would be quick to judge him as a villain. He just continued by slapping below Ris bum, making her legs collapse and her bum landing on the cart. She didn¡¯t even care about her grandpa¡¯s actions, but was just too damn curious about the technique! ¡°The only way to counter a technique as such, is to setup a Domain, or to protect your eyes with Qi. His technique is an old technique, passed down from emperor to emperor. From sect master to sect master. It is a technique that wastes Qi and was used by royalty to stop the masses of common folk looking them directly in the eyes. As for Wenrou, that boy has willpower to continue looking him directly in the eyes¡± Baohu just looked over, seeing Ri listening so intently gave him an aura of profundity he could teach kids about Qi Techniques all day long. Talking about the subject would fill him with great pleasure, and then he would feed them his delicious cooking. To him this was a dream, if he could make Ri listen so well, he could make anybody listen! He would heckle and slap his knee when he thought like this, it was truly too amusing to him! However, he would easily scare the children to death before they could learn about Qi every time he smiled. As soon as both granddaughter and grandfather started to talk about Qi and Abilities it was like they entered their own little world. They forgot that nearly mere moments ago Wenrou almost became blind. -- The man covering Wenrous eyes looked slightly annoyed to have helped him. ¡°Who are you?¡± he asked. To which Wenrou replied quietly ¡°Wenrou greets senior¡± while he cupped his hands. He knew to be respectful towards this man, he had stopped Ra¡¯win from beating him up. ¡°Why didn¡¯t you fight back? Why did you resign yourself to defeat so early?¡± His question was not about humiliating Wenrou, but Wenrou couldn¡¯t help feel angry at the question. Wenrou just worded out emotionlessly ¡°I have no Qi to fight back. My body is a degenerate¡¯s body, if I had the power¡¡± Wenrous palm had moved next to his knees, his palms flat on the ground with each word his palm got tighter till his hand was in a fist that dug into the soil. ¡°If I had the power. I would never shirk away, I would never resign myself to a dogs beating. I would instead stand up for myself!¡± His voice growing louder and louder, more assure of himself! The man couldn¡¯t see past his palm to look at Wenrous eyes, but he could tell this kid had been through a lot. This was the first time he sore somebody without the ability to draw in Qi, nor manipulate the essence of the world. Wenrou couldn¡¯t help taking the initiative, even if it meant to be rude! He asked before too long had passed ¡°What is seniors name if I may ask?¡± ¡°Laohu¡±¡ ¡°Leiming Laohu¡± he replied softly. Leiming closed his eyes for a moment, as he began to open his eyes, he also removed his palm from covering Wenrous vision. However, unlike before Wenrou didn¡¯t feel any pain looking at this man¡¯s eyes. Staring into his eyes, his eyes were cold and detached and gave the feeling of immense power. Wenrou had only envy in his heart. If only he could be given the chance to be like him he would take it! Leiming had been crouched in front of Wenrou for far too long. He now swiftly got up, positioning his bamboo hat to cover more than half his features again, he prepared to set off. However, before he began to walk, Wenrou jumped up and shot past him! Leiming looked slightly annoyed again, looking at Wenrou kneeling in front of him. This is what happens when he saves retarded kids, they wish to follow him and praise him, and flatter him and ask him, to go and save their beloved family or mother from their wicked father. Sometimes it would be bring their mothers who ran away back home. He just snorted, and began to move away from Wenrou. Again! Wenrou moved again this time kneeling even more, his head digging into the ground trying to show this man utmost respect. He shouted ¡°Senior Laohu!¡± Chapter 11: I will not beg fate! Wenrou kept forcing his head inch by inch into the ground. Leiming seeing this, just moved past this time if he was to block his path again, he would beat him up just as bad as the other boy. ¡ As Leiming was walking past, Wenrou could feel that this was his final chance. He had to do something, or he would never be able to break the binds that wrapped around his life suffocating him every day. ¡°Do you know what it is to be alone?¡± Wenrou¡¯s voice sounded out, it wasn¡¯t strong nor weak. It resounded in everybody¡¯s ears, as somebody was done injustice by the heavens themselves. Leiming upon hearing Wenrous voice, slowed down he didn¡¯t completely stop. His distance from Wenrou was only measly few metres. He didn¡¯t turn around, he kept looking away. Neither Wenrou or anybody else could see his face. However, if they could see his face they would see a look of contemplation, and a flicker of deep longing in his eyes. Leiming looking away, began to speak. His voice was completely calm and tranquil not a speck of emotion contained within it ¡°To have been surrounded with loved ones is a gift from the heavens...¡± as Leiming was going to continue, Wenrou cut him off. ¡°To keep them close by is dependent on how much you love them. Your determination to suffer, so that they never have to suffer.¡± Leiming looked down at the ground as he heard Wenrou¡¯s words. Feeling the solid dirt beneath his feet, feeling his foot press into the earth. It was like the words took him back to another time. ¡°I ran away from home, because I was ashamed I would never have the ability to protect the people I loved. I left my loved ones behind, because I wasn¡¯t strong enough to stand in front of them. I never wished to be protected if I could not protect them.¡± As Wenrou continued to say that, he turned his head to gaze at Baohu and Ri. Ri seeing Wenrous sorrowful gaze, felt a heavy pain in her heart. Wenrou continued whilst looking Ri in her eyes ¡°Grandpa Baohu, and Ri are leaving this planet in a few months¡¯ time. I will be left alone again.¡± Ri hearing this, and seeing Wenrous sorrowful gaze as if, he was saying I am sorry I cannot share your burden with you. I am sorry for being weak! Seeing Wenrou like this, Ri had to avert her gaze, it was too painful hiding this from Wenrou! But, somehow he already knew the truth. ¡°I often ask myself when will the pain go away? The truthful answer to that question is, never. Pain is like an ocean; it changes intensity with each wave coming to shore.¡± As Wenrou¡¯s final words came crashing out, he slowly stood up and moved into a bowing position. ¡°Master Leiming. Will you teach me? Just like you, I want to have the ability to protect my loved ones and take care of my own problems. I have been told since birth, that I will never attain the constitution to practice martial arts, and that my essence accumulation has never began. Although, I have been told that, I never gave up the notion that one day! One day I will break my fate! I have never begged fate, not once. Fate gave me this type of body, so I will never beg it! I will instead break it! The only person, I am willing to beg is you Master Leiming! With each word sounding out it was like an ocean tidal wave, as it continued each wave was getting stronger and more resolute. The more Leiming listened, the more he was entranced. He couldn¡¯t move from his spot; he was long fixed unable to move in fear that if he did, he would break the atmosphere. These words were especially familiar to him. Baohu was shocked to have heard that Wenrou knew about them leaving in a few months¡¯ time. He was constantly trying to find a good time to Wenrou, but was unable to break this boys heart. As a kind man, he didn¡¯t like to hurt innocent people, but somehow Wenrou already knew! He could only feel bitter, maybe Wenrou resented him a little for not telling him straight away, man to man. But what is done is done. Leiming, just twisted his head to the right, half his face showing he began to speak ¡°Your words are true to your soul. I felt your painful soul touch me. Your pain is deep, but talking is different to action. Are you responsible to your words? You must have the will to die if you plan to train under me!¡± ¡°I have had the will to die since I came to terms with my body. What I will not allow is to die a dogs¡¯ death!¡± Wenrous gaze became fierce, like a trapped tiger in a cage. Waiting to break free! ¡°We will see. Bid your farewell to the people behind you. I am waiting up ahead on the cliff. I¡¯ll give you a few hours, do not rush yourself.¡± With that Leiming, continued up ahead. Knocking his hat even lower to cover more of his face, he trotted towards the cliffs ahead of him. Baohus eyebrows knitted together, thinking to himself ¡°He can help Wenrou? What does this mean?¡± Wenrou felt a cold sweat rush over him. This was the first time he was given true hope to do something with his life that had meaning! He was ecstatic, but before he could realise any of his other feelings, he turned to look towards the cart where Baohu and Ri was situated at. ¡°Wenrou? You knew already? How?¡± Ri asked, her voice was extremely quiet and contained a hint of displeasure. ¡°We usually sell the dead beast carcasses and other goods, where Grandpa Baohu always takes the earnings to spread evenly between us, and this was the case up until a few months ago. I noticed Grandpa Baohu, had begun to place all the earnings into just my sack. At first, I thought nothing about it, it wasn¡¯t until I heard Grandpa Baohu. A few months ago, Grandpa Baohu got out of his bed and sat close by me. I heard him mutter it to himself then, he thought I was asleep but I wasn¡¯t. I wasn¡¯t able to sleep as well, because I felt something wrong, something different in the air, something different beneath me in the ground and inside me all day like a worm moving about inside my stomach. When I heard Grandpa Baohu, I knew why I was restless, it seemed even you guys were unwilling to stay on this planet.¡± Baohu had an apologetic look plastered over his face. Ri looked sorry as well. Baohu understanding the situation started to speak, but coughing first as a way to break the tension ¡°Wenrou, I¡¯m sorry. It is just that there was no way for us to include somebody innocent into our world.¡± Wenrou seeing the apologetic continued ¡°Grandpa Baohu I do not blame you guys at all. You have even taken me in, and helped me out. You never looked down at me, not once. You held me at the same level as Ri. I am just sorry; I am not strong enough to repay your kindness.¡± Ri was extremely quiet, and looked displeased at her Grandpa. She said extremely quiet manner ¡°Grandpa, can you give me my bag of holding now? I am at the final stages of my 7th stage, I wish to give Wenrou some gifts before I never see him again¡± Baohu seeing, how resolute and firm Ri was could only comply. He knew she wanted to tell Wenrou herself, but she didn¡¯t have that chance anymore. He took out two small pouches, and handed them to Ri. They were small and brown, with a mini rope binding on the mouth of the pouch keeping it closed. ¡°One is for Wenrou, his accumulated earnings for staying with us.¡± With that Ri grabbed them with a quick swoop and jumped over to Wenrou. ¡°Oi. Let us depart!¡± She had seemingly returned to her jubilant self. Wenrou upon seeing her usual mannerisms kick in, could only feel pleased that she no longer felt sad about the whole ordeal. -- It took a few minutes for Wenrou and Ri to disappear. They moved through the overpasses and out of the mountainous area, making their way to a small forest nearby. It wasn¡¯t big, but it was big enough to be secluded for people to speak. Wenrou kept following Ri closely, he never thought it but he was going to miss her annoy him, or to call his name the way she did. Following behind, his gaze would linger on her long hair bouncing and swaying behind her. He had taken her looks for granted, but now that their time was near to the final farewell, he noticed more things about her. The way she would joke with him, how she ate her food all lady-like in the forest and how he could get her angry by just being himself. While moving through the small forest, Ri didn¡¯t know how to approach Wenrou now that they were alone. She was usually the strong one, but had no idea what to do now nor the courage. Wenrou, taking the initiative he moved to grab her arm, where they touched she felt scared and excited at the same time. He stopped her movements, and he moved in front of her. Looking straight into her deep green Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.eyes, he could feel losing himself. This close in was akin to being lost in a green moonlit pearl. ---- After a few breaths, Wenrou, feeling the courage building within he started ¡°I won¡¯t say goodbye to you. This isn¡¯t the end; I will see you again one day.¡± Then he slowly let go, his hand floating down her arm, slightly touching her gently their palms gradually touched feeling each others sweaty palms, finally their fingers slightly retracted unwilling to let go. He walked slightly away letting go slowly, looking around the forest, Ri had a bashful expression. Ri didn¡¯t like the feeling of being embarrassed or shy. She could only look at Wenrou, he had a weak constitution and always joked about with her, but he had become her best friend over the years. Her only friend. She touched his back, with her palm with a bit of force pushing him into a tree. ¡°Hehe. If I never knew you, I would think you are a great man right now.¡± Both felt a little relieved now, the atmosphere a moment ago was quite intense and left them with weird feelings inside. Wenrou hugging the tree he was pushed into, just wryly laughed and continued ¡°What I will miss the most is Grandpa Baohus cooking.¡± ¡°EEE? What about me?¡± She grabbed the back of his hair, and gently pulled it back. Not willing to hurt him too much. Wenrou feeling his hair being pulled back, let go of the tree, twisting his body he came into close proximity with Ri, hugging her immediately. His head following the ricochet of his body, also entered her hot zone. ¡®Puck¡¯ ¡°AHHH! What was that for!?¡± Ri asked, extremely surprised by Wenrou being straightforward. He had never been like this before. She didn¡¯t know what to think or feel¡ ¡°Most of the time I was being hit, and humiliated was because the boys in the class would see me leave everyday accompanying you. So all the beatings, some of it you are responsible! You owe this to me!¡± Ris hands had moved to land on Wenrous chest seemingly her final barrier to stop Wenrou¡¯s advances. Ri wasn¡¯t going to push him away. This was the only boy she had this much contact with. No matter how strong Ri is, she still wanted to experience what it felt like to kiss, what it felt like to be held. Ri would grant him this moment, she moved in closer, her hot breath brushing past him, him inhaling her beautiful scent. Ri feeling Wenrous pounding chest. She closed in, their lips interlocking beneath the forest lit up by the suns blazing red colour, the leaves falling around them, they stayed interlocked for a few breaths. Their tongues swimming in each others mouth, unwilling to part. Ri didn¡¯t quite understand what was happening, but she enjoyed this feeling. Wenrou felt uncontrollable, the more he kept touching her the less he wanted to let go. He was a 17-year-old male, first time kissing a girl, such a beautiful girl at that. He felt this lust, washing over him, unwilling to let go. His arms like starving tree roots that found water, wrapping more and more around Ri¡¯s waist. After what seemed like a long time had passed, Ri pulled back, but their heads never parted. Holding each other trying to process what happened she could only say looking at the ground below, whilst clearing her throat ¡°Ahem. before me and Grandpa leave. I want to pass you some stuff. Since you¡¯re a freeloader, you will need some stuff to take care of yourself.¡± Wenrou waking up, felt extremely shy especially when he saw a rosy ting covering Ri¡¯s face. He pulled back, moving his right hand to lift Ri¡¯s face, taking another long glance into her eyes before he continued ¡°What is it?¡± ¡°This bag of holding. It is a magical pouch, upon slapping it with Qi you will be able to access its contents. Although, if you are never able to activate your Meridians to circulate Qi, pass it to your new master to help you opening it. However, you must tell him not to look at the contents. Only to open it, to allow you to access some of the items in there. I can¡¯t name everything but there is a few pellets and pills to help you, when needed.¡± Ri looked a little unsure towards the end of her speech, she looked back up meeting Wenrous gaze for gaze ¡°There is a medallion in there. It is of a Lion, sitting above a pool with the reflection of the moon in it. You must keep the medallion safe at all times. If you make it to the Alliance planets, and your ever alone all you will need to do is show that medallion.¡± "Oh, you must add blood to link it to yourself!" Ri added extremely fast. Wenrou could only nod. He had never seen what most of these things look like. His arms still holding Ri tightly, he moved in again. This time it wasn¡¯t for a kiss, but just to hold her. His head landing on her shoulder he looked sad ¡°We must go now, the sky has darkened, the forest looks cold and empty. I don¡¯t wish to say farewell in this desolate forest. Let us return.¡± Ri looked a little reluctant, but could only nod this was the only time she had seen Wenrou vulnerable, he looked like his true self in this moment. She could only comply as her Grandpa will leave tonight with her. In her mind, she knew that Wenrous case was forever set in stone, he would never be able to cultivate or practice martial arts. Maybe this Master Leiming, would just protect Wenrou for a period of time. Long enough for him to find his way in the world. Making their way back to the cart. Ri had parted from his side, moving closer to the cart. She looked up at Baohu ¡°Grandpa, I am ready to leave tonight¡± Baohu only nodded in confirmation. ¡°Wenrou, let us say our farewells as well.¡± Saying that Baohu, lightly stepped moving right in front of Wenrou. Wenrou seeing this, could only suck in cold air, this old man was dangerous as well. Maybe no less than his Master! Baohu within arms distance of Wenrou, threw his arms out gesturing Wenrou to come in close and hug him. However, the moment he did he felt a cold chill pass through his spine, then he heard Baohus chilling voice enter his ears ¡°If you have hurt my granddaughter, I would castrate you right here and now boy¡± Wenrou just looked back disbelievingly, upon seeing Baohus half-closed gaze, and his rusted metalic like moustache gave him a feeling of deep fear. Added with his, disgusting human features made Baohu look like a toad demon. Then Baohu continued ¡°I know you are a good boy, hehehehehehe. I would never castrate you here in front of Ri hahahaha.¡± His gaze turning more relaxed, he patted Wenrous head which looked like it was about to roll off from sheer fear. ¡°I will miss you Wenrou. You have always been generous and, even though Ri kissed you, you still had the mind to let her go. You never asked for more than we gave you, and I do hope in the future we will meet again. For now, you must forge your own path. Create your own fate!¡± Saying that with an aura of profundity, Baohu closed his eyes and approached Wenrou with his lips puckered out. Wenrou seeing this tried to struggle, trying to push this toad like man with all his strength, but it was to no avail his voice sounded out involuntarily ¡°ahhhhh, help me! Ri!¡± Ri seeing this only giggled. Baohus lips landed firmly on Wenrous lips, this man was just too devious. Wenrous mind began to cry out in shock just what kind of diseases he contracted just of this type of connection! All Wenrou could think is ¡°will I turn into a toad!?¡± Baohu pulled back with a mischievous smile, that was punishment for taking my granddaughters first kiss! With that, he slapped Wenrou on the shoulders, and looked at him thoughtfully for another second. With a slight nod, he moved away, walking back to the cart and getting ready to make preparations for tonight. ¡°Farewell Wenrou!¡± ¡°Bye Freeloader!¡± As they both made off, Ri could only look back feeling sour inside. Saying goodbyes, was the worst thing, she then looked back at her Grandpa and said in a trembling voice ¡°Grandpa, you will never leave me right?¡± He could only laugh, he bumped shoulders with her, nodding in confirmation that he will always be by her side. Seeing them move into the endless night, the sky was lonely no stars to accompany it tonight. The raging red sun in space looked unruly just like Ri. Looking towards the horizon, his master was waiting for him. Each step he took, felt like the shackles that fate had branded on him, began to shake off him. His body feeling slightly lighter with each step. Chapter 12: The waterfall where it all began! Thundering Dragon Chapter 12: The waterfall where it all began! Leiming who was in a meditative position, gazing at the vast land beneath lost in thought. ¡°Father? His words? Was it a coincidence? How could he have known the words you told me when talking about mother?¡± His face looked confused, yet serene. Leiming stayed in a meditative position viewing the vast land, and how beautiful it looked from this cliff. The land from below and the rocky mountains with the blazing sun landing beautifully on the rose, jade like flush forests below made the view spectacular, giving it a peculiar glow that could bewitch a man for hours. Wenrou approaching, his footsteps heavy and joyful. His arms swinging by his sides, trying to generate enough strength to allow him to climb this slightly steep cliff. He approached behind Leiming, without second thought he interrupted ¡°Master, I am ready now. Let us begin to train!¡± Leiming hearing Wenrous voice, just leaned back, rotating his head back 180% to see Wenrou behind him without a speck of politeness or obedience to his ¡®so called master¡¯. Leiming just looked at Wenrou from top to bottom, sizing him up with a look of dissatisfaction. ¡°Who is your master? Before I take you under my tutelage, you need to be responsible to your words. Are you ready?¡± His gaze transforming from serene to sinister in seconds. Wenrou seeing this change, felt his scalp go numb. He could only gulp and nod in return. What did he get himself into? ¡°Let us begin then. Hold on tightly. Ban Ban wake up!¡± With that mighty shout, Leiming stomped his right foot¡ Wenrou could only feel the land beneath his feet begin to shake, the skies rocked upside down, left and right! ¡°WAHHHHH! WHATS GOING ON¡± Wenrous scream came flooding out extremely panicked! ¡°RARARARARARARARA!! HIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHI!!¡± A voice came booming out, hoarse and deep, followed by an extremely loud sound of a massive chunk of land detaching itself from the rocky cliffs, seemingly alive! Wenrou twisting and turning on the rocky land, before falling of felt Leiming catch him. Leiming smiling deviously at Wenrou ¡°Meet Ban Ban. Don¡¯t look so frightened boy, he is harmless.¡± ¡°What... What is it?!¡± His voice confused and shocked, the sounds from this beast sounded human like but also degenerate, could it really be alive?! He looked around disbelievingly, rubbing his eyes unable to comprehend such a beast. ¡°Sit down and hold on to a piece of long grass. Ban Ban is a rock fish. Just like a rock fish, he has the power to manipulate earth and wind, he is able to traverse both elements like a fish in the water. His species is extremely rare, almost extinct, for you to have not witnessed one before, is quite natural.¡± With that Leiming sat down, crossing his arms, and entering his meditative state once again. Wenrou was extremely confused and curious, his questions flowed out without end ¡°It can speak?! It can fly!? How big is it!?¡± Leiming couldn¡¯t avoid such questions, Ban Ban without question is a rare species and would attract everybody¡¯s attention. He could only answer Wenrous questions ¡°Ban Ban isn¡¯t able to speak the human tongue, he is still a baby but his mind will never outgrow the way it is. Even when he becomes an adult, he will still act like a child. Rock Fish are kind in nature, they speak through the manipulation of the elements.¡± ¡°The rock fish species, mainly develop the abilities of sage like grandmasters being able to grow two seeds since birth making them extremely special. These elements are mainly water and earth. However, there is a special type with the ability to fly, such as this one. He is one of a kind.¡± Leiming finished his speech, patting it with his right hand, seemingly proud of Ban Ban. ¡°There is enough room for about 5-6 people, Ban Ban doesn¡¯t like it when too many ride him though. He has feelings as well! Ban Ban, let¡¯s head over to the place where you have your bath! Also I have a new friend for you to play with!¡± With that Leiming, slapped him once again sending vibrations through Ban Ban¡¯s body! ¡°RARARARARARARARARA¡± Ban Ban upon hearing he had a new friend, was unable to contain his excitement a large pink tongue came out the size of two men put together, as he twisted in mid-air flying to the designated bath location! Wenrou was still way to confused. ¡®What the fuck is this thing?!¡¯ is all he could think in his mind. It looked way to scary, it looked like a giant smooth pebble that he would throw, and skim across the lakes when he was a kid. Further examining Ban Ban, he could see it had about four tails swirling in the air, what seemed like it kept them afloat and propelling in the air! What was odd, was that the swirling tails, and didn¡¯t disrupt the air at all, moving through and around the air so calm and smooth. Ban Ban looked green on the top side, with vegetation growing, if he never saw this beast fly today, he would think it was just a normal piece of land! Wenrou managed to calm down after a period of time, remembering what his master said earlier ¡°Master, where are we going, and what is the final task I must do?!¡± Leiming just ignored the additional advances Wenrou made. Seemingly, doing enough teaching today by explaining Ban Ban! Soon a mountain began to coalesce in the distance, and a little while later the violent, turbulent sounds of water crashing into rock and lake surrounded the area. Wenrou noticing this, looked up to see a familiar place. It was the waterfall that separated the upper and lower half of the planet, remembering how he met Ri and Grandpa Baohu, he didn¡¯t look at the waterfall with anger, but slightly elated. Soon before Ban Ban descended, Leiming got up abruptly signalling Ban Ban to just hover in the air for a little while. He turned to look at Wenrou, his expression was slightly grim thinking to himself ¡®this is it boy. Prove to me, don¡¯t disappoint me!¡± ¡°Wenrou, to train under me is to be prepared to die. You see how far we are up from the ground?¡± Wenrou had a bad premonition ¡°Yes, we are quite far up. What are we doing here, master?¡± his words were filled with confusion. ¡°You have to jump into the waterfall below.¡± His words extremely fast, and clear. No room for negotiation! Wenrou just grit his teeth, voicing his concerned thoughts ¡°But why? What is the point of jumping from this height, I am not a good swimmer and perhaps, I¡¯ll die before I even reach the lake! What is the point in this?¡± ¡°Are you so dumb, you make me repeat my words? You must be prepared to die! If you won¡¯t jump, you don¡¯t have the gall nor the spirit to train under me!¡± With that Leiming, looked extremely furious he continued berating Wenrou ¡°What a fucking waste of time. Why did I bother with you?¡± Leiming began to move to the edges looking the opposite side to Wenrou, unwilling to put this useless person in his gaze. Ban Ban hearing the harsh tone was able to understand the situation wasn¡¯t as joyful as earlier and cried out in sadness ¡°rurururuuuuu¡.¡± Wenrou gritting his teeth further, I already fell down here once. I have nothing to lose, except this trash life! ¡°All I have to do is jump? And you will take me on as your student?¡± Without waiting for consent, he rushed to the edges of Ban Ban facing the waterfall. Without thinking ahead, or considering the possibilities that this could be death he clenched his jaw, closed his eyes and launched himself off! ¡°¡!¡± An expression of shock plastered across Leimings face, followed by a grin. ¡°I wasn¡¯t wrong!¡± Ban Ban seeing Wenrou jump off, wished to follow him by stopping his flight and diving behind Wenrou ¡°HIHIHIHIHI¡± ¡°Not yet friend, few more breaths. He mustn¡¯t cry out in help! He must be prepared to die!¡± Leiming, clenching his hands, this was the spirit that would make a master martial artist or break one! If you couldn¡¯t break this boundary, you would never break it no matter how strong you are! This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. Wenrou was hurling towards the lake, the crashing sounds of the waterfall hitting the lake kept growing and growing. Soon his mind, reeled in thoughts thinking of his mother and how he left her behind and all these years he never thought about going back to say how sorry he was. The day he ran away from home, how he left Jie crying and didn¡¯t comfort him. ¡®Am I really going to die with such heavy regrets?¡¯ The wind blasting into his face, he was unable to make any movements, this fast descent left him immobile. Even if he wanted to cry out in help, it was too late. He just closed his eyes, clenching his hands harder! Feeling himself approaching the ground his body let out an involuntary roar ¡°AAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGG!!¡± ¡°Now! BAN BAN CATCH HIM!¡± Leiming, close to the head of Ban Ban stomped powerfully, resonating a high vibration telling Ban Ban the situation is dire! They must catch him before he crashes! Ban Ban energized gave out a cry of power ¡°RARARARARARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA¡± HIS BODY INSTANTLY DROPPING LIKE A COMET, LIKE A CHAIN ATTACHED TO WENROU HE WAS ENCLOSING INCH BY INCH, INSTANTLY IT BECAME METRE BY METRE! Wenrou 15 metres above the lake surface, his roar resounding out as if it would help him eclipse the pain he would feel by crashing into the lake! ¡°RAAAAAAAAA¡± BAN BANS MOUTH OPENING UP, HE WAS JUST UP BEHIND WENROU! WHAT SEEMED LIKE A GIANT PINK ROCK CAME RUSHING OUT, WRAPPING AROUND WENROU LIKE A CACOON AND PULLING HIM STRAIGHT BACK IN TO HIS MOUTH! A heavy crash sounded out, as a giant beast smashed into the lake surface ¡®CHICHIHIHIIIII¡¡¯ A few moments later, just a bit further ahead, a beast emerged on the surface ¡®CHACHAHCAAA¡¯ Ban Ban came flying out of the water, and landing on the grass land near the lake! Leiming, drenched wet, looked unsightly, but was pleased his student didn¡¯t cry like a baby! This boy! Then he stomped Ban Ban which seemed to hurt him, ¡°Let him out you baby! He isn¡¯t going anywhere!¡± Soon Ban Ban, just opened his mouth, his blocks of teeth that looked like giant white concrete walls opened up, releasing his giant pink tongue and out came Wenrou! Wenrou was shocked, scared stiff! Before his crash he felt something disgusting and smelly encapsulate him! He turned around to only piece things together. Realizing Ban Ban¡¯s giant white concrete teeth and pink tongue just about ready to wrap him up again put him into a state of terror! ¡®AHHH¡¯ he cried out in shock in his mind, seemingly lost his voice to say anything! Ban Ban could feel Wenrou displeased with his tongue, he just voiced his discontent ¡°ryryryryry¡± as if nothing to worry about. His mouth is clean! Before Wenrou could continue, Leiming approached him. ¡°You crazy boy¡ You really jumped, most would be unable to jump with a single though, and you never cried once from that distance. Go clean up, we can talk a bit later, when you don¡¯t smell.¡± Leiming announcing his displeasure at the end, waving his hand in a fashion to blow away the smell from Wenrou. Ban Ban looked down at Wenrou his tongue slapping onto the backside of Wenrou, pulling him in and jumping over to the lake and spitting him into the water ¡®PAAAAA¡¯. This act seemed to have caused Ban Ban great joy laughing immediately after ¡°HIIHIIHIIHIIHIIHIIHIIHIIHIIHIIHIIHIIHII¡± Wenrou felt pitiful, going into Ban Ban¡¯s mouth wasn¡¯t so much fun. This was the second time, but for some reason he felt like it wasn¡¯t going to be the last time! He could only get up, and undress moving closer to the waterfall to clean himself. Feeling the water overhead pouring made him feel slightly refreshed¡ but soon the water stopped coming from above. ¡°Eh?¡± Looking up, his expression became extremely ugly. ¡°This goddamn beast! What the hell he is cleaning himself up above! What a cheater!¡± Wenrou had enough, he began to shout his discontent at the situation, and however it fell on death ears. Ban Ban was just cleaning himself, feeling the crashing water made him happier than most, moving into a position to drink all the water flooding into his giant mouth he could slightly hear Wenrou but just had the mind-set that he was the first student! The senior gets the best water! -- After a long awhile later. Wenrou was passed new clothing from Leiming, wearing it he slightly felt much more profound. The garments was extremely comfy, and was still a bit baggy. Wenrous body wasn¡¯t fed by the Qi and Essence of the worlds, so his body was much skinnier when compared to a healthy boys who had been training since a young age. However, he had hopes that would all change, his muscles would eventually tone up, his body would be able to absorb the Qi and Essence, with much more eating he would put fat on and then transform it into muscle as he began to train! Wenrous hair was medium long at this point, it wasn¡¯t long where it blocked his features, so he still had that damaged but na?ve look visible to the world when he kept thinking of stuff. Approaching his master, who was sitting around a newly made campfire near the lake just close by where Baohu had made camp, when they met for the first time. He could feel Ban Ban¡¯s tongues shadow approaching him, before he was touched he spun lightning fast shouting ¡°NOOO! NO!¡± Ban Ban just cried out in displeasure ¡°Ruruu... Ruuruu!¡± Ban Ban made his way back to the lake, his new friend had made him sad. Wenrou seeing how sad Ban Ban became, felt bad. Remembering what Leiming told him, he was just like a child, he heaved a sigh. ¡°Okay, one lick only.¡± Another look of pity was expressed by him. Quickly a rustle of ground and leaves followed by the looming presence of the great pink tongue! ¡®sluuuuuuuuuurrpppp¡¯ a giant tongue landed flat across Wenrous front! With that, Ban Ban laid close to Wenrou, nudging him to sit on top of him. Where Wenrou, moved and sat cross legged on top of Ban Ban. Ban Ban, slowly fell asleep the events of today, had put a strain on him. He was extremely tired. ¡°Wenrou, what do you know about Qi and the Essence of the worlds?¡± Leiming, observing their actions, waiting for it to die down before he began to address Wenrou. ¡°Nothing, I tried to learn at the schools around the lower districts. However, I was usually chased out, or used as a punching bag for the other kids to train!¡± He looked angry at the notion of how he was treated! ¡°So you know nothing really? I¡¯ll explain the various forms to you later on. First we need to temper your body then you can slowly understand the laws of the world and the restrictions set on the body. You must understand Wenrou, your body, it isn¡¯t completely blocked off from the laws of the world, rather different laws apply to it making you unable to cultivate.¡± Leiming, closed his eyes briefly, opening them again, with an undiscernible layer of Qi, observing Wenrous body in a detailed manner. Viewing this body, he quickly noticed, there is a dark black hole surrounding his Dantian, it is disrupted from the world accumulating something completely different? There is no seed as well!? This shocked even Leiming! ¡°Your seed! When you said earlier that it never began to grow, you truly meant it!¡± This is... unheard of!¡± ¡°Yes... I never lied!¡± That is all Wenrou said. Adding nothing additional to that, that alone would make Leiming understand just how weak his body is!
