 Chapter 1- Accident

    <u>Pacific Ocean </u>: Nameless Island

    A small island invisible to satellites and carefully guarded by a strong and highly advanced military units, this is the base for the worlds current most powerful company : Earthen World Technology Association.


    <u>500 feet underground</u>---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------


    a large metallic room built on an ore vein deep under the island, the room is covered with light bulbs radiating black light, an arc like structure is visible, inside it a void, without the specialized lighting it would not even be visible to the computer systems in monitoring the room.


    footsteps are heard approaching the entrance, a group of guards dressed in black militant outfits form two rows guarding the entrance, a man wearing a dark green military outfit walks up and shows a special identification, disbanding the group of guards, behind the man with obvious authority is another man.

    This is it... i do not know how this will turn out, i''m a scientist, specifically an astronomer, i have come here as a "tester" for a new project called the "space gate" project, the Earthen World Technology Association supposedly managed to create a structure capable of warping matter to other positions in space, normally i would have never agreed to become a test subject, this mission is basically suicide, but recently i lost all i had, i used most my money to acquire a laboratory, but an earthquake destroyed it, my home nearby was also destroyed and now i have no choice but to partake in this crazy ordeal.


    I walk alongside a man unknown to me, he looks like a very important person, i look at him but he does not even give a glance to me, guess i am basically a dead man to him already.


    i feel very nervous and scared, me knees are week and even my back can''t stay straight, but this is a gamble i must take, if the project is a success i become rich, if it fails i die, but looking forward at the possible chance of continuing my research i dig up the little courage inside of me and straighten my back and continue walking down the dark metallic hallway.The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

    soon a metallic gate comes into view guarded by soldiers, the man beside me takes out an ID Card and the soldiers immediately leave, the door opens and the view inside shocks me.


    a large cubical facility illuminated by purple light, a black screen 4 meters high is built into the left wall, probably a one way screen, but ahead in the center of the room large futuristic looking metal arc is emitting constant electric discharges, i immediately understand, that is the space gate.


    The Mysterious man then turns to me and gives nod and exits the room.


    a robotic voice suddenly transmits a message.


    robotic voice: "tester Uriel Williams please enter the capsule"


    The ceiling suddenly opens and a large silver oval capsule with a large glass screen in the front lowers, the glass screen lifts and a white seat comes into view, i walk in and take a seat. The screen lowers and i suddenly feel a strong attraction between my magnetic clothing and the seat.


    robotic voice: " Beginning  Test, The Administration send their prayers."


    the capsule slowlymoves towardsthe black void inside the gate, i stare at the void, it feels like my mind itself is being sucked in, i feel a chill run from my spine, the capsule enters.


    darkness... that is all i see, everything feels like it is in slow motion, i see a white dot.. the white dot looks as if it contains everything that is and will be... a huge explosion takes place, a soundless explosion, a myriad of colors are visible around me, the capsule seems as it melted away along with my body, but i am still alive.


    After what felt like an eternity starts start forming, then galaxies, i see the birth of starts, i see the death of them, i see the fate of galaxies as they collide, i see the birth of cosmic bodies, i see the formation of planets.


    soon a black portal appeared, i soon realize i am not me anymore, i feel like an eternal being which has witnessed all that is and will ever be.


    But soon enough that dream came to an end.


    As if entering a pitch black portal, a new beginning has come.

 Chapter 2 - The boy hated by the heavens

    The sun is burninghot, a blazing blue light radiates from it...


    as it greets me? What the hell is with this situation!

    A small boy around the age of 12 or 14 sits on the summit of a small hill gazing at the sun reminiscing of past events.


    Once a very obsessed astronomer on earth, he was reborn as an infant in this new world. Upon birth he was injected with Ki, a special energy that permeates a large part of the universe, but upon being injected with it it quickly left through his pores and other body openings, his father Hall Williams a famous practitioner of the Aura realm quickly realized that the Ki energy that fills the heaven and earth actually rejects his son, filled with rage he killed the mother Lizbeth Williams and sent his child to the scholar branch of the family, But bad lack knows no end.


    The child was named Uriel Williams, he was quickly found to be incompetent and had a hard time memorizing the 6,500 character alphabet.


    "how the hell do you expect a 6 year old kid to learn 6,500 characters?" well even i was an adult in mind, my language on earth only consisted of 25 characters! the childen of this world are too abnormal!

    Four years passed after that and I finally managed to learn the alphabet and speak proficently, but it was to late, Iwas exiled to work at a farm, even though i am unable to cultivate my body is strong, well of course my body is strong! without Ki i had to fight against this ridiculous high gravity, what size is this damned planet... well back on track, since i had a strong physique the head of the scholar branch Mathew Williams decided to exile me to the Williams family farm, FlameBerry Estate, their specialty FLAMEBERRIES.

    Two years passed since then, you know what is the bad part of having to deal with with flameberries? well let me tell you! the berries grow on a prickly grey vines that roll up and resemble tumbleweeds, covered with thorns as sharp as knifes, roots as sharp as blades, Plus they filled with fire Ki.


    they were bassically flaming knifes with berries growing on them! when harvesting the berries i recived 3rd degree burns and deep cuts, luckily the food here heals wounds fast. though i don''t get any other benifits from the food.


    Well if you think that ordeal was bad enough... during winter we have to dig out the the bushes, as i mentioned the roots are basically blades, even the protective gear gets sliced, luckily i have been carefull since i heard people had lost limbs to them.


    Now you may be thinking, how did you manage to explain such suffering in such a humerous tone... well i think my mind just broke.


    usually the only good rest i get is during midnight when i get to watch all the starts in the sky, and watch the gorgeous blue sun rise from the east(i became an insomniac) but all of the sudden the sun spoke to me.


    "nonono im not crazy i swear, plz dont leave!" i know in my past life i was obsesed with the cosmos, but it think i got over it during these past years.

    "ahh soooo tired! just kill me already you damned heavens!"


    -"oh what an intresting fellow, seems your having a bad day"

    I slowly turned my head towards the sun and stare at it (as usual for some reason staring at the sun does not affect my eyes, i always found that intresting)


    - " ahh to think a mere organism with basically no energy was born with the cosmic body physique, hehehe your in for a bad time little one"


    *snap* "ha..hahha.hahahhahahha to think at the pinnicle of my childhood not only have i worked myself to near death but now even my delusions insult me"


    -"hmph suit yourself, if you want to cultivate figure it out yourself"


    "ah wait..." damnit, what does he mean...


    "tch" The sun is rising i need to get to work, I guess i''ll think about my delusions later.


    This was the day the would change my fate and the fate of the universe.

 Chapter 3 - The Boy With Soft Skin

    -"You damn soft skin hurry up and finish harvesting the eastern field, if you could atleast use Ki you would be able to use the harvesting equipment, your really lucky i dont kick you out!"


    This is the daily routine im used to, getting scolded in the morning, working till noon, eat lunch, get scolded again and work till near midnight. Even though that old man scolds me often, i know he is a good person, if it wasn''t for him i would had long since been driven out of here. His name is Leonard Williams, a familly elder therefore he has quite alot of power here on the farm.


    Soon noon aproches and as i get ready for lunch i spot some teenagers of around sixteen years old walking out a luxurious building, the building resembles a modern western building from earth but the decorations resemble chinese and japanese culture more, gorgeous Spirit beasts are engraved in the pillars and walls and various Ki powered array applainces are easily seen through the crystal clear windows... truly a dream house.


    The teenagers soon spot me and smirk to themselves, fuck i could feel this is going to give me a headache its bellard again, he and his stupid goons won''t ever let up a chance to bother me.


    -"heheheh it isn''t soft skin hows your cultivation progressing"


    "oh its you guys again, well of course as you can see its going smoothly" i sarcastically reply.

    As i wash the wounds on my face a creepy smile is visible on my face, and a dark aura of killing intent surrounds me, " heheheheh" i can''t help but laugh pityfully to myself.


    I stare at the sky and talk to myself.


    "one day i will stop being a soft skin i decieve myself.


    Here in this world "softskin is an insult, the first stage of the path of cultivation is called [Body Tempering], it is further divided into 6 levels the first being [Skin Reconstruction] which even mortals are able to reach, that is the reason why being "soft skin" is such a big deal.


    "ahhh sigh" i stare at the sun when all of a sudden i feel a strange feeling in my abdomen, i look at my belly and quickly relize where the feeling came from,my naval at structure called the Matrix, otherwise known as Dantian in some areas. whenever i inspected my matrix it was just an endless void but now i see something, a mixture of many gasses forming a dense cloud. what i did not realize is that over the years my body had been gathering many atmospheric gases such as carbon, oxygen and hydrogen.


    the outer layer of the cloud is extremly hot and the inner layer is freezing cold and opaque, a strong gravitational force(self-gravity) is pushing twards the center of the cloud.


    while i cant see anything in the cloud i already realized what the situation is. A dark Nebula, the cloud of gass slowly callapses and whats left behind stuns me : Protostars!


    "hahahha" the heavens rejected me and didn''t allow me to cultivate, well i don''t need your shitty Ki, i will cultivate nuclear fusion energy by mixing it with the Ki in the air i will create my own energy that the heavens won''t be able to take! just you wait you shitty bastards! i will rip your hearts out, and as for my father... hehehe i will skin him alive, gouge out his eyes and cripple his Matrix.


    That night a happy but eerie laugh rang throughout the fields and hills of the William Estate.

 Chapter 4 - Learning to cultivate(1)

    The sun slowly fades in the herizon and the workers slowly put away their tools and head to their humble brick dwellings to rest, I howerver start walking away to the eastern fields to my usual spot, a small hill where the horizen is perfectly visible and not obstructed by the nearby mountains. the metallic fields lightly reflect the light from the sun giving the usual gray plants a bluish tint that looks unusually beautiful for a field where workers are put to do exhausting work.


    Recently i have been experimenting with my body(not in that way) and trying to figure out how to cultivate. The basics of cultivating the body are very common knowledge even though most people can only reach the first layer, according to what i have heard, a martial artist first draws ki from the sorrounding or from ingested food and absorbs it into their matrix, they then later use a basic and well know breathing technique to draw the Ki to their skin and begin to re-construct their skin by merging their ki with their skin cells.


    Unfortunatly Ki does not know how to appriciate real beauty and won''t listen to my commands and gather in my matrix.I began exploring my matrix to find a solution, when i poured my concience into my matrix i felt as if i was "zooming in" on a computer and the protostar in my matrix came increasingly closer, so close that eventually my body suffered mild radiation burns and i had to heal for a couple hours, thats when i noticed something intresting.


    All the plants in the surrounding two meters had all whithered due to the radiation, yet all i got was mild internal burns, that is when i realized that my body had an abnormally high resistance to radiation, for example as i mentioned before, when staring directly at the sun my eyes never suffered any kind of damage. Even though the experiment resulted in me becoming injured but it was not fruitless. In this world there is a peculiar kind of Ki called Solar Ki, in other words its Ki produced by the sun, but i quickly figured it was not the case.

    Last time I ate, I noticed a quite peculiar reaction, radiation that leaked from my matrix came into contact with the Ki in my stomach, the radiation seems to have excited the natural Ki from the food i ate and temporarily caused it to become stronger and denser, the Ki sunked into my matrix and was instantly excited my more radiation until it broke down into the two basic energies known throughout the world with differant names, in some areas yin-yang while the people here refered to it as positive and negative energy.The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.


    The two energies then seperated but before they broke down they were rapidly pulled into by my protostar, then something that perplexed me happend, the protostar started changed color to a bright white. Thats when i quickly relized, the protostar started using the two basic energies to produce its own energy, by colliding the two opposite energies together with enough force when they are at the point of breaking down, they will cancel eachother out and release a pure energy.


    Thats when i realized something, if stars are able to do that then there must be starts in this universe that have for billions of years without collapsing, and their might be starts of immeasurable sizes that are impossible to imagine... the stars are at war, the stars that gain more mass use their gravity to devour other stars, and in exchange also gain longitivity, normally a galaxy would have a black hole in its center, but i have a feeling that in this galaxy, theirs a giagantic star in the center, devouring all matter nearby.


    This is a complicated universe i have been draged to.


    hmph so martial artist that cultivate solar energy are basically cultivating excited Ki from the atmosphere that became to dense and floated down, that means they have constantly cultivate under the sun or slowly loose their cultivation, ha i will show them the real meaning of cultivating the cosmos, one day i will be star out ther devouring everything.

    The Moon slowly rises and i keep on contemplating things i slowly turned towards the diming sun and a mutter a thought that has been bugging me


    "if stars devour all surrounding matter why does this star system have planets, shouldn''t the planets been draged by the stars gravity long ago...."


    -"hmph, im just a lousy star at my lifes end, if i want to survive i will need the help of a god, besides such a small amount of mass won''t help me, so i decided to wait and see..."


    ... the sun talked to me again, maybe i been thinking too long. guess i will sleep, tomorrow i have to figure out how to begin my cultivation.

 Chapter 5 - Learning to cultivate (2)

    The day was progressing normally when many of the workers started making a ruckus, I bacame intrested and decided to see what the situiation was, as I walk near the group of tall workers wearing protective leather clothing covered in white cloth the disgusting smell of sweat drifts to my nose and i instinctivly stop breathing, then I start smelling a stronger stench that that does not even require me to breath to make itself into my nostrils, the workers are sorrounding an eighteen year old kid whoes shirtless sitting on the floor, black grime oozes out of his pores and I can''t help but take a step back at the disgusting sight.


    -"haha check it out zeneth finally tempered his skin, he even expelled impurities he''s sure to taken to the inner house at the martial branch, in the future he may even become a bone-refining expert"


    -"waaaa" "no way impurity expulsion, he''s got some major luck"


    -"hmph he''s just lucky i heard he ate the special ten-year water avacodo, it has strong water element so your bound to excrete your impurities"


    -"how did he get his hands on something like that?"


    -" i heard he found the ripe fruit floating down the lake"


    -" so thats it huh i heard the tree produces one every ten years and when it ripens it drops into the river"

    The work day finally concluded and im back to my favorite spot.


    Based on my knowledge the reals of body defining are:


    Skin Reconstruction--->Tissue Reconstruction--->Organ reconstrution--->Bone Reconstrution--->Blood Infusion and the optional [Neural Reinforcement]


    So in reality there are six realms, but normally one skips the sixth [Neural Reinforcement] since its too hard and dangerous and break through the Aura Realm.


    Normally the realms are cultivated in order, however there are some special cultivation manuals that allow you to cultivate most organs and tissues at the same time, but it is a known fact that you cant break through one of the later realms without breaking the previous one, for example if someone first cultivates the tissue, he will be stoped by a "bottle neck" unable to break through until he successfully breaks through skin reconstrucion.


    I however am not limited by this worlds Ki, i will try to aquire material with high metal Ki content and strengthen it in my matrix by fusing it with stellar gas, then i will reinforce my body with it and create a solid foundation, i plan to not only forge my body once, but several times, normally people use only up to three elements of Ki to Reinforce certain organs and tissues, for example martial artists that focus on strength use iron ki to forge their muscles, nature ki to transform their blood, allowing them to heal faster and fire ki to forge their hearts, the fire ki excites the energy in their blood allowing their strength to further increase.

 Chapter 6 - Circuit Beast (Water Slime)

    Fall season was already close and the final berries had been harvested, all that was left was to remove the metallic vines and roots and send them to the house, since they could be used to make metal tools and common knifes. While everyone was using specialized rakes to rip out the roots left over after removing the vines I was sneakily taking several vines and hiding them in a wooden box behind a wooden shed.


    These vines were the perfect material to get metal Ki and fire Ki from, which i was in need for, the plan was progressing smoothly since all that was left to do was to wait till night and collect them. However i never expected such an incident to occure...


    Everyone was working hard, one particular worker was wiping his sweat when his gaze landed near the lake, his body froze and a shiver ran up his spine.


    -"Slime, Water Slime!!! Run!!!"


    Alarmed all the workers glanced towards the forest then frantacally threw their equipment and ran.


    *whooosh*


    The sound of wind spliting was heard and i who was hiding behind the wooden shack witnessed as a thin beam of water split three workers by their waist, their guts spilled from both sections of their bodies and blood rushed out, they were still slightly holding onto their concience making wierd choking noises as blood driped out their mouth, a large light blue blob(slime) with a dark blue nucleus in the center with small dark blue blood vessle like strucures extending in all directions from the nucleus to the out membrane(transparent skin) of the slime.


    The slime jumped towards the corpses and instantly dissolved them into its body. A large bubble formed inside the slime and a small hole opened in the membrane, the buble then connected to the hole and the slimes body contracted, a large hydrolic beam shot out splitting over thirty runing workers in half.


    -"run for it!" "shit"


    -"Damn it my brother!!!"


    -"hurry the fuck up and call en expert"

    "Shit" before I knew it that fucker was already beside me, just as i was ready to flee.


    "which Fucker said slimes were slow" my body shiver as i felt thin strings of Ki pass through my body, slimes are incapable of seeing since they don''t have eyes, however using Ki it''s able to sense any living organism with Ki by spreading thin strings of Ki and using it to sense.


    "fuck..." i stare at its body, it looked small from afar, but up close its six meters tall and twelve meters wide, its body shivers for a moment, but then it starts bouncing towards the workers running to the saftey shelter near the storage. "hahaha" i forgot.... i don''t have any Ki in my body right now.


    *vrooooouuuuu*(alarm)


    As i stare at the slime at a distance the alarm finally starts, its been thirty seconds since the slime arrived yet eighty people had already died, a bone refining expert should be on the way.


    -"Everyone don''t worry i have arrived to the rescue" a large man wearing a thin light blue silk robe arrives, his sturdy muscles stick out and i cant help but stare at his leapard pattern briefs... his sturdy looking face glances at the male workers and a creepy self-satisfied smile creeps up his face as he grips a light blue crystal sledge hammer besides his waist, my danger senses instantly set off, Hail(y) Williams, powerful bone-reconstrucion expert, and dangerously gay, and with that i don''t mean it as an offence, if theres a guy he likes he drags them with brute force to his home...never to be heard from again.


    As if recognizing a powerful advirsary the slime''s body contracts and compreses, propelling itself with a water cannon it charges like a bullet twards Hail(y) it''s speed so fast it looks like a blur to me, however upon impact all that greets him is four-hundred pound hammer, the slime looses parts of its body, but it successfully protects its nucleus and dashes to his left, a large water blade forms on its left side and dashes behind hail(y) the blade only rubs on his hammer before it breaks, and the slime quickly tries to reabsorb his body, but before it finishes hail(y)''s hammer comes from above him and crashes down on his nucleus, the hammer passes through its body and smashes the core down into the ground.


    The ground trembles and the produced dust cloud is instanty formed and a muddy crater is left behind along with a core inside, hail(y) retrives the core.


    -"hahaha the great me splendidly took care of the slime!, now which of you will accompany me today"


    His gaze moves around and just before it lands in my direction i feel a shiver and instantly hide behind the wooden shed.


    -"hahahha its going to be you, come on don''t be shy" hail(y) looks at young eighteen year old kid with a small stature and Thin but strudy physique with light black hair.


    "phew" i can''t help but sigh in relieve as he leaves along with the boy.


    -"poor kid thats the last we will hear of him"


    -"um such a shame and so young too"


    -"Everyone!" "get cleaning already, we still have alot of work. found out who the deceased one''s were and tell their families."


    The sun slowly settles and the moon takes its place in the opposite side of the sky, im sitting in my favorite hill, well now that thats over, it''s time to get started...

 Chapter 7-Skin Reconstruction/Healing Star

    I was sitting down, today the moon was not visible and the sun was already in deep slumber, i was sitting in a lonley dark hill far away from my usual spot, grass as tall as an average man surrounded me. I got in the normal meditation position and in my hands held pieces of hard metal with scorching hot tips. normally one would never attampt what i was going to do, absorbing a two elemental Item would only be okay depending on the elements and their strengths, however MetalKi was difficult to absorbe, and if occompanied by schorching fire Ki even if one was succesfull it would leave behind to much damage. However i had a plan, and even if i didn''t i would do it anyway, i had no choice, i felt too weak, that guy was only at the bone forging realm yet with his strength he could probobly destroy a small hill in a single blow. I felt Jelousy, and yearned for strength, Unlike my previous life I will do what i want when i want and nobody would try to stop me, I want the strength to tremple everyone.


    Right now the problem im facing is absorbing Ki into my body, since it strongly rejects me, but recently i discovered something, once Ki enters my matrix and is processed by the radiation of my star, it changes into a new energy, the element is Kept along with its properties but it is basically a new energy that only responds to me as how Ki only responds to the heavens. I realized my star itself was actually made of it, ying and yang is riped into primal energy in the center of my star, and then when it surfaces it it becomes Ki again, but since it is ki not created by the heavens but by me it only responds to me, I call it Qi.


    I also realized my strange ability to control it, even when its in the form of radiation, i can expell it from any place in my body, i actually tried to use it to temper my body but something scary almost happened, my star lost too much energy and became unstable, im not sure if it would become a differant type of star like that or go supernova, so i was really scared, luckily i was able to slowly recover the Qi, But how did i create more Qi? by eating? NO! my body actually has a very thin gravitational aura which only affects energy right now, i managed to manifest it when i "zoomed" completely into my star, now that im able to handle the radiation.''Small amounts of Ki in the air was forcefully absorbed by me into my body and into my matrix, then processed into Qi and used to recover my star''s energy. I now realize that to temper my body with the current amount of stars is not enough, but i dont have time to make more stars, the star i have already took probobly ten years to form, therefore I figured a simple way to finally begin my road to cultivation.This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent.     Using my Qi Radiation, I cause the Two Ki''s in metal roots/vines to seperate, I quickly activated my gravitational field and absorbed the two energys, as they forcefully enter thorugh my skin covering my belly into my Matrix i felt an imense pain, shoot throughout my lower body and the Ki finally settled inside my matrix, it slowly headed to my star where it began the process of being deconstructed and reconstructed into Qi, however this time i do not allow my the energies to merge with the existing energies in my star, and instead expel them from my star, forming a large metallic cloud, to my surprise the fire and metal Ki''s merged creating a new Qi which i call Steel Qi.


    I then control the Steel Qi in my matrix and send it to my Skin, I grit my teeth in anticipation, and just how i expected my skin started bubbling as if it were boiling, a metalic luster invaded the cell walls of my various types of skin cells, the Skin cells gradually gained a new layer of cell walls and support strucures composed of Steel Qi, all while I endured agonizing pain, all my hair then fell out and my already dark red skin started releasing vapor, I felt like a plastic water bottle filled with boiling water, and my skin was an obstruction stoping the water vapor from escaping, but suddenly my skin felt very soft and as if the plastic walls were finally to soft to stop the vapor.


    *boom*


    My skin litterally exploded and was vaporized into thin air, below there was a new scorching layer of skin, but unlike a xianxia when you break through ki does not rush in and heal it, my skin was still scorching, but this time it was many times harder than normal skin, it would take alot of force for a normal knife to injure it.


    Now it''s time for my stars power to manifest itself.


    I finally named the Star type: Healing Star, why did i named it that?


    Well because my Star was composed mainly of Water,Nature and Neutral Ki which I subconsciously gathered since I was little, and as one would expect it has healing properties. That was the main reason why i could not use it to temper my skin.


    I named the radiation released by It:Healing Star Qi


    I start releasing the Healing Star Qi to heal my skin, after four hours my skin finally feels great. I start streaching it and poking it, impresed by it since it felt and streched like skin yet when I flexed it became harder than leather. I let some Healing Star Qi permeate my body and indulging in the great feeling of increase in strength.

    In a block near a street intersection there is many decorations and training equipment, A large banner reads Disciple Recruitment: Joyous sect. Several eccentric characters are seen training, they wear basically no clothingand release a powerful aura with a slight charm which attracts many boys and girls. I''m troubled by the creteria of their sect, they focus on dual cultivation yet its not really a requirment, the only requirment is that your on the first stage of body tempering and have normal or higher natural talent, however im not sure how they would react if i who can not even normally absorbe Ki tries to enter.


    Right now everyone thinks im a mortal since unless i emmit radiation no one would believe my matrix even holds a shred of Ki, but of course thats just do to my abnormal body which no one can make sense of.
