At this moment he was doing one of the most sacred jobs in the village, he was watching over the goats. He took care of them and looked out for them. At this moment he was counting the goats before he brought them back to the palace of the goat. But when he was done counting he found out there was not one but there were even two goats missing. So when he brought the goats back to the palace of the goat he reported the two missing goats to the palace guards. After that he went out again to look for the goats, this was because he loved the goats a lot and so he wanted to find them. After hours of searching he heard a distant sound that sounded like the sound of a goat. So Jack walked towards the distant sound. After hearing the distant sound a few more times he found out the sound came out of the cave. Jack slowly walked into the cave and was nearly scared to dead. This was because before him laid the corpse of a dead goat. End of Chapter 1 Chapter 2 - Realm of what? Santa''s realm - Episode 2 - Realm of what? Jack ran to the goat and nearly started to cry, but after a few seconds the pulse of the goat slowly started to fade. The goat was destined to die. So Jack made a decision. He laid his arm around the neck of the goat and turned the goat''s neck around. The goat no longer had a pulse. Jack started to feel resentment for not being able to do anything to save the goat, slowly this feeling was taken over by rage and determination. Determination to find the killer and determination to find the other goat. He stood up and began to walk deeper inside of the cave. After a while he felt that the temperature in the cave was getting lower and lower, but instead of only making it cold. It also gave Jack the feeling of something oppressing him. He felt waves of coldness press upon his soul and body. The coldness felt like it was sealing his strength and thoughts. His speed became slower and it became harder to think. After walking for a few hours he stopped walking. His body felt like it was made of ice and every step he felt that his skin was shattering. At this moment Jack tried to look around him, but the only thing he noticed was that the ice around him was becoming vaster and darker. It seemed as if it gained life. Jack knew that if he walked on further he would die. So jack stopped walking and started to study the ice. Because it was not the cave that gave of the coldness or something at the end of the tunnel. It was actually the ice. Jack tried to shatter an stalactite of ice from the top of the cave. After he shattered some pieces of the stalactite he began to meditate. Not because he wanted to study the properties of the ice, but rather because he wanted to make use of the energy that made the ice alive to cultivate. He felt the ice energy going through his veins towards the dantian. He tried to keep the ice energy at his dantian, but it grew unstable very quickly and tried to escape. After a few hours Jack felt that he had nearly no energy left to resist the ice energy. Strand after strand of the ice energy escaped out of the dantian and started to freeze every thing on it''s way. After a few seconds the energy tried to attack his brains and after a few more seconds he could not think, sense hear or notice anything. This was something that Jack had not foresee when he tried to cultivate the ice crystal, but lucky enough a miracle happended. In his dantain the ice dispersed and a strange colorless energy started to capture the ice energy around his body. If someone looked at his body he would notice that the body wasn''t hot at all, but it also had no strands of ice around it anymore. Later when the ice was almost gone. A weak voice which sound harsh and unsteady resounded through the air. 13 years and finally this kid started on martial cultivation and the firstly it kills itself with pure ice energy. This kid is at least not afraid of death, hahahaha While the person was laughing his voiced sunked away and the only thing that wasn''t silent is the ice energy. This was because all of the ice energy was in the dantain once again and it started to purify itself into a ball of pure ice. This ball kept growing smaller and smaller until it was only the size of a eyeball. The iceball had an aura of absolute cold around it and felt like it couldn''t be messed with. Jack waked up and couldn''t feel the oppressing of the ice anymore and felt like he had all the energy he would need to walk for days. And so he did. After he walked for a few more hours, Jack saw light at the end of the tunnel. He regained a spark of hope to finding the murderer and saving the other goat. When he arrived at the end of the tunnel he couldn''t believe his eyes. It looked like he arrived at the entrance of city. A city made of packed ice. Cold and dark, blue ice. -------------------------------------- Santa''s home Santa was sitting on his chair. Before him kneeled 13 persons. All of this persons were Santa his personal disciples. Normally he was very proud of his disciples, but now he was yelling at them. Don''t you guys know how much resources i wasted on you... you... Trash disciples, this was one of the many statements he made. Yesterday all of his disciples underwent the Innate Santa Test. This was his hope for finding a successor, but all of his disciples failed the test. Because of this, Santa his face was filled with worry and sadness. ''But master, why can''t we ask one of the elders to succes your place?'' Said one of the disciples. With a grumpy voice Santa said to his diciple, why can''t you succeed my place as Santa? The disciple felt humiliated and guilty. He became silent and looked ashamed to the ground. Then one of the other disciple explained that elders had to take the Innate Santa Test and that this test determined the rank the elder would be given. This was all said with a tone like he looked down on the other disciples and felt he was meant for greater things. He gained this kind of confidence after taking the Innate Santa Test and failing only 1 rank beneath the rank required to become Santa. He was the only one who had reached this rank and now felt like he was better then the rest of the disciples. This disciple his name was Zuo Mo. ''Silence Zuo mo, don''t mess up your attitude just because your nearly made it. When i became Santa there were 41 people who were at the required rank and still only 1 was chosen. Don''t think that your good enough to become Santa just because there is no-one better here.'' This was all said by Santa with a distant voice. Lately he began to think more and more about the past and the horrible things he had done to become Santa. Then he reminded how the persons we''re selected. Santa screamed through the continent with a voice that was even hearable hundreds of miles away. ''In and about ten years from now i will die and to pass my legacy to someone else i''ll hold a tournament. This tournament will be holded three years from now at my castle in the capital. I welcome every race and every person under the age of 20 to come and join the tournament. But long ago common people stopped learning the holy Race Arts and the Arts of nature. Because of this i will spread the arts through our world again and will organize small tournaments with prizes all around the continent. Now go and spread the news. That my realm will be a realm full of cultivators again!'' End of chapter 2 Episode 3 - The city of ice Santa''s realm - Episode 3 - The city of ice When Jack walked out of the tunnel he noticed something. The streets of the city were empty. And if you looked closer you could see some damage on the street and the buildings around it. The damage was healed over time with different sorts of ice and this made the damage less visible. On the street small icicles had grown, which made it impossible to run on the street. Most of the houses were made of packed ice, so you couldn''t see right through them. This feeling of not knowing what is inside and the fact that there was a lot of concealed damage made Jack suspicious, because of this he made in his mind reason why there would be damage. The first reason was that there were traps. And the second reason was that the city was attacked from the inside or outside. Because the second reason wasn''t a threat to him at this moment, he discarded it for now. Jack broke off some of the icicles and threw them in front of him when he walked. With this he could see if the street had some automated traps in it, but he made it till a crossroad unharmed and without seeing any traps. Jack looked around in the crossroad. Both streets on his sides had houses around them and came to an end. One let to a market with stalls and the other one ended in a park made of icicles. The street in front of him was different. The houses were bigger and looked more expensive and the street was better decorated. At the end of this street was an staircase. At this moment he couldn''t see to what the staircase went, but it looked very important. The better decorated street had way more damage then the rest of the city he had seen until now. This made Jack aware that his second theory might be more fitting, because the staircase looked very important and easy to defend. This also made Jack feel the urge to discover what was at the top of the staircase and so he walked towards it. The staircase was huge and the steps looked like they were made for person at least five times as big as him. Stolen novel; please report. Jack went up the staircase with a high alart for his surroundings. Even if the second theory was true there was still a lot of danger, this was because the craters that were in the ground could not be made be normal persons or machines. If a wepon was left behind and it was accidentely activated it would have consequences he would not be willing to take. When he was nearly at the end of the staircase, he paused and looked down. The other buildings were now far beneath them and the city looked very comforting and nice. It looked nearly the same as a normal city. Then he noticed there were more tunnels on the border of the city and that he couldn''t remember from which direction he came. This would be quite problematic when he found the goat or wanted to run. When Jack finally arrived at the other end of the staircase he saw that the huge doors of the building had been forced open. He couldn''t imagine what kind of beast could tear open this huge doors and he became terrified of what he might find inside. This feeling of fear was kept in control by the need to find the goat, because it would be his death if he couldn''t find the goat. The room that he arrived in looked like the entrance of a castle from his dreams. It had the double staircase with a hallway under it that led to a dinner table. Only the dinner table wasn''t one whole anymore, but instead existed in six different parts scattered around that room. The floor had broken carpets and also here there were icicles on the ground. Jack walked towards the stairs and climbed them. The stairs were again made for people that were at least a few times as big as him. At the top of the staircase was a hallway that led to a balcony that looked over a garden. In the middle of this garden was a real tree, which was not made out of ice but out of wood. This startled Jack, because everything here was made of ice. When he arrived at the balcony he was again startled because in the garden a little girl was playing, but this little girl was at least twice his size. End of Chapter 3 Chapter 4 - A Meal?
